Stand on Guard with David Krayden - ＂Gitmo North & Malicious Prosecution＂： Trucker Gord Magill on Coutts 2 Prisoners ｜ Stand on Guard

00:00:00.000 good morning and welcome to another edition of stand on guard my guest this morning

00:00:06.320 it's gourd mcgill the autonomous truckers you read his columns you know his sub stack and you

00:00:12.100 can see that information in the description below and when we come back what's going on

00:00:16.700 with the coots too and how is governments in this country continuing thank you for watching this

00:00:24.560 episode so we are in a very precarious position in this country we need political change but we

00:00:33.220 also need to resolve to resist yes please like the station hope you're all up at this early hour

00:00:52.340 sunday morning gordon i are always up this early so i hope i hope our viewers are it's a sunday

00:00:59.620 september the first historic day of course in this day 1939 the second world war started and god knows

00:01:07.580 we're only steps away from the third world war the way things are going in this world but we're going

00:01:13.240 to focus on what's happening in canada and alberta right now but before we do i've got a great little

00:01:18.340 clip to show you i just saw this this morning and this is making the rounds of all the social media

00:01:25.400 in fact it's so good even the mainstream media is covering this i saw this on ctv this morning

00:01:30.940 in fact that i think that's who originally got this but this is justin trudeau talking to

00:01:36.440 on one irate steel worker but what's nice about this is that he keeps he holds his temper he doesn't

00:01:44.400 get upset but he just succinctly tells trudeau you're finished and i just i just love

00:01:50.040 well we got we got donuts over here if you want to thank you for your hard work i can bring some

00:01:59.800 for my kids hey uh the 25 percent paris we just brought in on chinese skills yeah help you out 0.85

00:02:05.060 that's going to keep my job what about the uh 40 percent taxes i'm paying and and i don't have a

00:02:11.520 doctor the 400 million dollars and you invest invest in your car i think you're only here for

00:02:18.100 another year we won't see around probably another year that's that's what elections are for that's

00:02:21.700 right that's right i look forward to everyone exercising the right to vote yeah basic choice

00:02:26.620 we're going to invest in you and your job i don't i don't believe you for a second

00:02:30.000 uh dental care yeah i pay for it myself okay we're like three years behind the job and coverage yeah

00:02:37.980 we're four people in my family every time we go for a dental visit it's cost me about 50

00:02:42.760 dollars in my pocket per person okay why i have a good job you're not really doing anything for us

00:02:48.740 just actually we just invested so half a million people have not been to the dentist

00:02:53.620 got to go to the dentist over the past few months probably like my neighbor that doesn't go to work

00:02:57.180 because she's lazy she just doesn't go to work she lives the same way 1.00

00:03:00.880 good luck and prepare your family sir no all right have a nice day have a good day sir

00:03:08.060 nice work king

00:03:09.960 they got the donuts excellent they got the donuts excellent let's move on let them eat cake

00:03:17.900 let them eat tim hortons

00:03:21.500 another classic moment with our beloved prime minister there he is he rarely ever encounters

00:03:29.980 real working class people he loves to pretend he's always on their side meets them he just can't wait 0.60

00:03:35.820 to get away because as soon as that guy says yeah my neighbor has got the same standard of living

00:03:41.300 as me but she doesn't want to work she sits at home because she's lazy true time to go 1.00

00:03:46.840 where's the donut where's the donut trail

00:03:51.580 oh no oh no a real live a real live person went off script we can't be having that

00:03:58.280 i always feel sorry for these these people who are forced to stand behind him

00:04:03.600 when he makes these new policy announcements or has a news conference and you see these workers

00:04:09.280 standing behind him looking hi my hair yeah and there was one instance it was ontario someplace where

00:04:17.840 this construction worker yeah it was a housing announcement construction worker actually put

00:04:22.720 his hell his his his his uh hat is his construction head to cover his head because he was so ashamed of being there 0.62

00:04:33.300 and this was all caught on camera and nobody noticed except the people watching true don't ever notice his

00:04:39.680 handlers never noticed

00:04:40.760 so the guy's got his construction uh hard hat that's the word i'm looking for his hard hat over his face

00:04:49.180 so he doesn't have to well this is the problem they they don't notice a lot of things which is why

00:04:55.300 canada's falling apart because they just don't notice reality around them right

00:05:00.160 yeah yeah too true so to get to the issue of the day here we we were supposed to have

00:05:06.860 an announcement or a verdict or we had a verdict sorry the sentencing was supposed to come

00:05:11.560 last week i understand it's been delayed now a week for the coots

00:05:15.420 too and that trial has been so underreported there's been so many people who should have been there in

00:05:23.280 alberta that haven't been there covering that trial you have been covering this but i read the other

00:05:29.620 day and here's really what i want to start with is that the the crown the prosecution is talking about

00:05:36.220 nine years for these i mean what do you do you think that's even even possible it is possible

00:05:46.080 but it seems rather unlikely given that uh justice labrens is restrained by precedent and previous case

00:05:55.040 law um you'll you correctly identified that sentencing has been pushed back to september 9th

00:06:02.180 because uh justice labrens received so much extra information right and so when a uh jury trial goes

00:06:10.980 down you know the jury you don't ever get to know how the jury came to their decision that's secret

00:06:17.020 and it's like secret forever so the crown and the defense and the judge have to argue about what the

00:06:24.800 facts of the case are and that's what the hearings were but there was so much information brought

00:06:29.720 forward and especially after tuesday on wednesday evening there was more documents filed to justice

00:06:35.680 labrens by the defense because tuesday justice labrens had some sort of worrying rhetoric but i mean it

00:06:42.380 it kind of goes back and forth and so in order to consider everything correctly justice labrens

00:06:47.820 pushed the sentencing date back to september 9th the crown is looking for nine years on the mischief

00:06:54.800 and possession of weapons for a dangerous purpose charges which is uh pretty extreme given that you'll

00:07:03.320 remember the mayor thorpe for these four rcmp officers who were murdered in cold blood in mayor

00:07:09.300 thorpe alberta a couple of decades ago uh one of those gentlemen only served seven years so to be

00:07:17.380 accused of being in a conspiracy to murder police officers which they were found not guilty of

00:07:23.120 um the crown is trying to get them on the lesser charges which in no universe would ever produce a nine

00:07:31.520 year sentence the crown is demanding that nine year sentence i think in a vindictive way as crown

00:07:38.520 prosecutor johnston has been extremely vindictive all through this process in order to like you know

00:07:44.120 get around the fact that on the serious charge they were found not guilty so they're just going for

00:07:49.740 maximum sentences i mean this is kind of expected that's how this guy rolls yeah well so you don't

00:07:57.560 think that's even remotely possible that these these guys could get nine years what do you think is

00:08:04.200 more likely i mean if you if you were to hazard a guess on this if i was to hazard a guess and a guess

00:08:11.500 based on the fact that justice labrens has typically been pretty fair uh throughout this trial and he's

00:08:18.300 also very thorough and he's also uh very knowledgeable about all this all the case law and precedent

00:08:24.100 i i don't take you know this is just my guess i hope i'm right i hope i'm not wrong is that they get

00:08:31.780 time served the defense are arguing for less than time served i believe um maybe i have that wrong

00:08:40.760 maybe it is time served i think there's people who want it to be less than time served because of the

00:08:45.340 precedent it's going to set for other people that are involved you have to remember uh 13 people were

00:08:50.940 originally arrested at coots and some of those cases are still outstanding and because those people

00:08:56.800 were charged with mischief there might be some like spillover to their cases but yeah um probably

00:09:04.060 our best case scenario is time served uh and given case law and precedent it seems like it's going to

00:09:10.480 be quite a stretch for the crown to get their nine years well let's let's hope so i want to talk about

00:09:16.600 the the explosives and i've i have this this interview here it's only just over a minute but i think it

00:09:24.000 describes a situation most people are not even aware of a lot of people think these guys had

00:09:31.520 a stockpile of explosives in their trunk waiting to go at the at the border but i this uh this

00:09:39.780 interview here i think sums it up the explosive substance not it was pipe bombs initially in the

00:09:45.620 disclosure in the media even in the court that's not the case anymore it was a substance of an explosive

00:09:51.520 nature it was found at his residence 200 kilometers away from coots i mean which farmyard can you drive

00:10:01.340 on where there is not some explosive substance i believe even earlier today in the court the crown

00:10:07.100 said if you purchase and don't quote me on this hairspray and you don't use use it it could be

00:10:13.320 considered an explosive substance i know it is you can throw it in the fire i mean deodorant cans are

00:10:17.560 explosive substance it's just a stretch it's just it's it's it's it's almost craziness it's just

00:10:23.660 every farmer every every um everybody that's that's in a specialty industry they they improvise

00:10:33.480 they try to do you know without blowing themselves up but sometimes you gotta build something that isn't

00:10:38.440 available on the market that doesn't mean that it's an explosive substance for a dangerous purpose

00:10:44.380 no it wasn't coots it didn't it wasn't like it was primed and ready to go in coots that's not what

00:10:49.460 this was it's what they're trying to make it out to be so again back to your previous question it's

00:10:55.340 malicious it is they're trying to throw everything at these guys and they're creating a theory out of

00:11:02.700 thin air 100 correct 100 correct um marco's dead on the money what they're doing here and what they've

00:11:12.900 been doing since day one and this gets back to what you said earlier about the lack of coverage

00:11:17.620 or the lack of adequate coverage on this case is that they're trying to convict these guys in the

00:11:22.640 court of public opinion right so the the charge of having an explosive device was basically an

00:11:28.780 opportunity when uh when the rcmp executed a search warrant on tony olianic's property again nearly

00:11:36.180 200 kilometers away from the protest site you know tony olianic and his late father george both had a

00:11:43.480 quarrying operation tony's had a bunch of different businesses throughout his life he's a very productive

00:11:48.940 member of society he's always been self-employed he's a very hard worker and during trial one of his

00:11:55.140 business associates even testified to the fact that sometimes you use these you sort of explosives to get

00:12:02.500 drill bits out of rock um to blast rock there's all there's all kinds of like go on youtube and and

00:12:08.580 type in you know a mine explosion mine dynamite and they'll show you blowing stuff up to feed it into

00:12:14.500 crushers to make aggregate to make all kinds of different products right but what the crown was doing

00:12:19.400 was using this to pad their case because what they do is they prosecute there's a term for this

00:12:24.860 prosecutorial overcharging where if they're trying to get somebody they throw as many charges at them as

00:12:30.720 they can even know knowing that if the case goes to court they'll probably lose because there might

00:12:37.680 not be any evidence whatsoever or not enough of it but they do it anyways to intimidate uh those who

00:12:43.960 have been arrested to intimidate uh witnesses to basically say look like we are the government we

00:12:50.000 have bottomless pits of money we can fight you forever so we're just going to charge you with this

00:12:54.920 charge you with that charge you with as much as we can and i believe justice labrens even during

00:13:00.400 uh sentencing hearings mentioned as a mitigating factor that you know these explosives were 200

00:13:07.840 kilometers away they had nothing to do with the protest like labrens gets it right so when we see

00:13:13.760 the sentencing come down on september 9th i'm pretty sure that um the explosive charge is not going to

00:13:20.480 play a factor at all what was the rcmp up to here though this this smells to me of a frame-up the

00:13:30.440 perception was out there and the rcmp gave every indication at the time i remember watching the

00:13:36.980 coverage that this was somehow a direct threat to the border these explosives it was rcmp deliberately

00:13:44.540 mismanaging this case i don't want to accuse them of framing these people but it certainly looks that

00:13:51.720 well the perception is everything and and to me the the honor and repute of the rcmp is getting lower

00:13:59.420 and lower every time they investigate any of these incidents because it looks like they're deliberately

00:14:05.020 i won't say falsifying the evidence maybe i shouldn't say that but it looks like they're

00:14:10.980 mishandling at the very least the evidence what would you say i mean mishandling of the evidence

00:14:16.300 like over and above um this overcharge with the explosives thing you know that that really famous

00:14:23.180 photo of all of the all the guns that they had on a table i mean that's mishandling of evidence

00:14:28.340 because they had to unbag everything and set it all up for this propaganda photo which continues to

00:14:34.360 haunt this case like every time you get in a discussion with anyone anytime you see the mainstream media

00:14:39.040 they always print that photo because they have to what they're trying to do is the propaganda

00:14:44.260 operation they want you to believe that these guys were like ready to go to war with the cops

00:14:49.560 and they just they show you that propaganda photo and then they repeat the allegations from undercover

00:14:55.920 officers ad nauseum which we all have to remember and i want people to understand this every single

00:15:02.180 allegation from the undercover officers is not based on anything they never had recordings whatsoever

00:15:08.080 hastily drawn down notes at the end but as you say um given orders that may have come from ottawa

00:15:15.140 you know they were looking for anything to to shut down the freedom convoy they were considering using

00:15:21.320 the emergencies act from the word go i mean trudeau admitted that at poec that they were considering it

00:15:28.080 very early so what was there communications between you know uh curtis the blocky brenda lucky and the 0.96

00:15:35.800 rcmp at coots was this a setup were these guys walking into a trap it would be good to find out

00:15:41.660 black locks reporter uh showed in a report that there's like 17 000 classified or top secret documents

00:15:50.260 related to the freedom convoy that we still haven't seen uh how many of those documents indicate

00:15:56.240 communication between rcmp and ottawa and rcmp and coots like we don't know right 700 of them

00:16:03.120 are considered top secret why are there top secret documents for a peaceful protest like what are

00:16:08.980 they trying to hide right so these are questions we have to ask ourselves as we're watching this case

00:16:14.100 proceed because of all those all of these other factors right and of course the last time we talked

00:16:20.720 we mentioned how a access to information i think it was the freedom of information act in the states

00:16:27.500 revealed how the biden administration and the trudeau administration were colluding with the

00:16:33.000 department of homeland security actively censoring the accounts of freedom convoy organizers participants

00:16:40.320 so is it it's not beyond belief that there's further collusion here that further revelations from any

00:16:48.640 access requests that are actually affirmed or completed we might discover more information i doubt though

00:16:55.760 we're going to get more on this because this whole matter to me has been a cover-up from day one

00:17:01.540 if you recall it was the the accusations that there was somehow some some sinister militia

00:17:09.500 work going on here and these accusations of diagonal on being behind all this which of course and it's

00:17:16.740 nothing more than a a a web chat society they don't have an organized militia oh and for for all the noise

00:17:24.300 they made about diagonal on diagonal on was a dead letter in trial um they were only mentioned i think

00:17:30.000 once or twice and it was only because of the photo on that patch of the vest that was seen but as far as

00:17:36.060 um the prosecution goes and the way the trial went no mention of them whatsoever other than that patch

00:17:43.060 it became a total non-entity uh the crown tried to bring in this woman named barbara perry as a 0.99

00:17:48.820 as a sort of expert witness to testify to the supposed right-wing extremism of the coots four

00:17:55.160 guys uh the crown actually withdrew their application to have her on because they realized she was a 1.00

00:18:00.700 crazy person so it wasn't going to help their case so that all that stuff is garbage um interestingly

00:18:06.800 again i'm going to go back to something you said at the beginning about the media coverage on this

00:18:10.820 um i wrote i've written several emails to the cbc and they actually answered me i was so surprised

00:18:18.180 um i complained about a there's a sort of cbc radio show and podcast called front burner where

00:18:26.560 they had on finally after two and a half years of this case going forward they invited on a gentleman

00:18:33.420 who writes for the canadian press named bill graveland mr graveland repeats uh the government side of the

00:18:39.900 issue at all times he does never he never provides countervailing evidence he never talks to the

00:18:45.680 people on the advocate side doesn't talk to the defense doesn't talk to anything and he just he

00:18:50.880 just repeats the government line on this cbc had him on he did his thing did his job to smear the men

00:18:57.340 so i uh myself and another associate uh wrote letters to the cbc about it and they actually answered me

00:19:04.380 and then it would be directly from the cbc's ombudsman and then he looped me in

00:19:09.900 to an email with a guy named uh brody fenlon who's the big cheese big kahuna uh news editor guy for

00:19:16.800 the entire cbc and then a couple of weeks later i get another email from the head of uh the director

00:19:23.300 of journalism for cbc calgary where she tried to dissemble on the coverage and said you know

00:19:30.360 we believe it's fair and we believe we've been impartial um by not covering this case right like

00:19:37.280 they had they did the front burner thing they've had a few articles on their website but in two and

00:19:41.980 a half years they never talked to anybody on the defense side they never talked to the families of

00:19:47.540 the men never talked to their advocates never talked to their communities it's just all been the

00:19:52.660 government side and the cbc this woman at cbc calgary literally tried to say that this was fair and

00:19:59.800 impartial two and a half years of not talking to the other side of the story is fair and impartial 0.98

00:20:05.580 to the cbc like let's defund these bastards well i think that's something everybody watching this 0.87

00:20:13.060 show right anyway would agree with and i have been i've been fighting for the defunding the cbc long 0.98

00:20:18.880 before it became a a good talking point for the pure poly of conservatives and it's amazing to me how

00:20:25.240 they continue to take 1.3 billion dollars a year from taxpayers and give so little back in terms of

00:20:32.600 news coverage and do i think they could survive by themselves yeah probably uh but the way our our

00:20:40.900 media is subsidized now the whole mainstream media is subsidized by by trudeau this whole thing has

00:20:46.900 is a sham it has to stop there has to be objective media out there but i i don't know if the mainstream

00:20:52.980 media is going to survive the next well i would i would say let the people who listen to the cbc and

00:20:59.480 think they're actually uh an impartial arbiter of reality pay for it which is to say rich people in

00:21:06.080 toronto and montreal and ottawa right if you're a government employee with a six-figure salary and

00:21:10.780 you believe you need the cbc cool pony up your own money and subscribe to it and don't make the rest

00:21:16.340 of us pay because we know they're a propaganda outfit right yeah it well it's sort of a microcosm of

00:21:22.380 the trudeau government because here you have a crown corporation that actually gives its executives

00:21:29.100 it gives all of the grand poobahs in the organization bonuses while it's firing working people from the 0.99

00:21:37.020 organization and it just amazes me how they can look themselves in the mirror every morning and do this

00:21:42.920 because these people are getting horrendously huge salaries at the top for censoring the news

00:21:48.840 for telling us what we should believe and at the same time they're laying off people because they

00:21:53.760 just can't afford it they just can't afford to keep going and not for a minute do they say well

00:21:59.120 maybe we should stop giving ourselves these huge bonuses if we're serious about this even the optics

00:22:03.840 are bad but that doesn't matter it's not just the optics it's the mechanics the logistics of it

00:22:08.760 this is an organization that can't afford to give bonuses to people but they can't keep doing it

00:22:13.620 because they know the trudeau government will keep flushing money their way and it just when i and

00:22:18.660 when i see the coverage they do and and to me what happened in coots is a perfect example of that

00:22:24.600 how they their coverage is inadequate to say the least it's not completely distorted right and i want to

00:22:30.320 i want to make a point here just so that i don't want people to think we're just beating on the cbc

00:22:35.320 the rest of the media's coverage has been terrible i mentioned this bill graveland guy

00:22:39.360 uh his articles like go out on the wire and get republished by the globa mail or ctv

00:22:45.220 um the national post had a guest contribution on the coots story last week littered with errors

00:22:53.540 half the article was again repeating allegations from the undercover officers verbatim as if they were

00:23:00.100 the truth not telling their readers that none of this stuff was recorded not not even like indicating

00:23:06.740 the basic truth that hey these guys got ruled not guilty which means the jury saw through what the

00:23:13.260 undercovers was saying and rendered it basically irrelevant right why is this why is the center

00:23:19.040 right publication like the national post not asking itself deeper questions about what's gone on with

00:23:25.020 this case why is the toronto sun not asking deeper questions right like this whole coots thing it seems

00:23:30.880 like it's it's radioactive even to supposedly private media now remember they're most of these guys are

00:23:38.200 on the take with subsidies from uh trudeau so they they're basically government media as well but like

00:23:43.980 i've written to all of these papers and all of these websites i've offered to go on a podcast on the left

00:23:50.740 like canadaland one of the biggest leftist podcasts in canada i sent all of their people an email saying

00:23:56.880 how come you guys aren't talking about this would you like to i can hook you up with uh the advocates

00:24:02.060 out in alberta here's all this stuff that like various people have written no answer like these

00:24:07.500 people just do not want to hear the other side of the story it's just been shut down by everybody

00:24:12.920 it's like a total code of silence other than people like yourself yeah and one of the uh things that a lot

00:24:20.820 of people have totally disregarded and i never see it mentioned in the mainstream media is that

00:24:27.160 one of the reasons the rationale that trudeau invoked the emergencies act was he had to stop

00:24:32.980 this crisis at the border and of course this so-called crisis at the border was resolved before

00:24:38.580 that's right the emergencies act not just in alberta but in ontario so there was no rationale except to

00:24:45.040 come down heavy and hard on the peaceful protest in ottawa and it all comes down to that and and the

00:24:51.640 trudeau government continues to pretend that they did the right thing but before we before we leave

00:24:57.580 and thank you for keeping us updated on on what's happening with the coots too because i this i say again

00:25:04.060 has been underreported not just by the mainstream media and not just by cbc but by conservative media who

00:25:10.360 haven't been there and i i take them to task for that if i right so let me let me give you an

00:25:15.820 indication of the media who showed up in left bridge this week uh rebel news sheila gun read is there

00:25:25.900 and this bill graveland guy that's it they were the only two i think at one point there was someone else

00:25:31.760 there i can't remember who but for the most part it's been the only mainstream media has been rebel news

00:25:37.540 and this canadian press guy who's done nothing but smear the men and peddle disinformation

00:25:41.880 that's that's that's incredible that confirms my suspicions as to who's been there just uh shifting

00:25:50.260 quickly to what happened recently here in ottawa with the freedom convoy trial of chris barber and

00:25:56.420 tamara leach i i have been covering that i've been at 95 of the of the court dates when they've been

00:26:02.940 here and they keep yanking these poor people from saskatchewan and alberta to ottawa for three or four

00:26:08.940 days at a time the last time they were here they had to spend two bloody weeks in town at their own

00:26:14.200 expense of course to wait so they could get the their defense final summation then they were told

00:26:21.680 the prosecution had one more kick at the can the crown was going to have another summation and this

00:26:26.940 whole thing to me is just mind-boggling this is the this will be the third prosecution summation now

00:26:33.020 at least they can do that via zoom they don't have to come back to ottawa but this has been law fair

00:26:39.220 wards waged against these two and and i've and i've talked to both of them and they were so relieved to

00:26:44.380 find out no they didn't have to drive back to ottawa this month for yet another day in court but what

00:26:52.100 amazes me about this court is that they're not going to get a verdict on this mischief charge and

00:26:57.920 let's remember no explosives involved here no guns this is a mischief charge like what happens at a

00:27:03.620 at a bad wedding reception they're not going to get a verdict on this till at the earliest january

00:27:09.260 february 2025 perhaps spring i mean this will be almost literally two and a half years to get a verdict

00:27:17.860 in a mischief trial right i i i don't know i'm not a lawyer i'm not a judge but it seems to me that

00:27:26.780 justice uh heather perkins mcveigh could quash this right like if she wanted to i i believe i could be

00:27:33.940 wrong that she could just say this is ridiculous and put her foot down and i mean she's got plenty 0.73

00:27:39.440 of good reason to because the crown has no case she realizes how ridiculous this is she's been 0.81

00:27:44.800 extremely frustrated in court i believe you've seen that everyone who's been there has reported on

00:27:48.900 that the problem is if uh ms uh justice mcveigh or if justice labrens were to you know accurately

00:27:58.400 and truthfully you know put their foot down on the malicious prosecution going on with both these

00:28:03.580 cases um their careers are over right uh 77 percent of the judiciary in canada are donors to

00:28:13.280 members of or appointees by the liberal party of canada it's a club and it's maintained and run by

00:28:19.700 the laurentian elite of whom the liberal party is their political arm and if they do the right thing

00:28:26.620 they're gone their careers are over uh because that's just the way it is in canada right now

00:28:32.100 so i you know it's it sucks that uh we have to wait this long it's it's really terrible that the

00:28:38.180 coots guys spent two and a half years in jail uh the media have done nothing to ask any questions

00:28:43.900 about that tony olianic and jerry morin both spent around 90 days of peace and solitary confinement

00:28:49.600 which is a recognized form of torture why is it that we have gitmo north in canada and why is it

00:28:55.480 nobody's asking any questions about that right like canadians and canadian society always pride

00:29:00.780 ourselves and we have for decades oh we're not like the americans we're all about peacekeeping

00:29:05.540 we're all about like a fair and liberal society and when we have gitmo north nobody wants to turn

00:29:12.420 around and figure out where the smell is coming from no that that is so true and it's so true and

00:29:18.700 i this is only going to get worse as we get closer to trudeau's online harms act with free speech we see

00:29:26.280 what's happening in the uk right now it's just shocking that what the the world's oldest democracy and

00:29:33.360 that's what britain is going back to the magna carta it took centuries of of of activism of of

00:29:40.240 fighting the government of fighting the crown in in the in great britain to reach a stable democracy

00:29:46.600 and this clown keir starmer i call him hair keir starmer by the way i don't call him sir 0.98

00:29:51.900 i don't know who the hell had the bright idea of knighting this incompetent ass but he's hair 0.98

00:29:58.480 keir starmer for obvious reasons he reminds me of another hair from germany but this guy 0.98

00:30:04.980 is clamping down on free speech to the point where people are getting three years in jail for opposing

00:30:10.940 the government and this to me is very ominous because this is going to happen in canada that's

00:30:16.640 right true to you know and that yeah if built these if built these 63 passes canada will be an even 0.94

00:30:23.660 deeper shit than it already is and one of my contentions here and again i could be wrong i 0.73

00:30:29.740 think what's happening with the coots guys and possibly even uh chris barber and tamara litch 0.99

00:30:35.100 uh is the government is looking for cases for precedent for when 63 passes because it's going to be brand new

00:30:42.540 legislation if it passes there's no case law for it right but you have to understand certain parts of

00:30:50.040 bill c63 relate to thought crime right like they if they can there there's components of c63 which

00:30:57.080 allow the government to use your social media posting and your communication against you to argue

00:31:02.180 that you might need an ankle bracelet to be monitored you might even need to go to jail and be put in

00:31:08.080 custody because they believe you're going to commit a crime right that's like thought crime this is like

00:31:13.540 minority report level stuff but because this uh piece of legislation is going to be brand new

00:31:18.760 no precedent if you look at the prosecution of tony olianek and chris carbert the vast bulk of it

00:31:26.280 is based on the allegations from the undercover officers and from text messages and group chats

00:31:32.340 and phone calls so they're they're building the case around totally tony olianek's words mostly because

00:31:39.340 there's less from chris carbert and that's that's what they're building it on right what is what does

00:31:44.840 tony olianek think what is tony olianek saying they're trying to bust tony olianek based on what's

00:31:51.640 in his head chris barber and tamarilich same thing they were trying to get them on their social media

00:31:56.880 posts the government is trying to come for your right to express yourself and for what's in your head

00:32:03.720 they don't believe that you should have your own independent thoughts they don't believe you should

00:32:07.980 be allowed to express yourself look what's going on out in bc here this week right um the the bc

00:32:14.020 conservatives in election coming up and the ndp and bc are freaking out because they found out like

00:32:19.000 four of the candidates um and this other party donated to the freedom convoy and they're all

00:32:24.560 like oh we can't have this they do not believe in your right to express yourself or to take part in

00:32:30.980 um movements or protests that they don't think are necessary right these people are tyrants

00:32:38.600 if c63 passes we're going to get keir starmer on steroids in canada

00:32:43.620 yeah i i couldn't agree more and that's that's why we're fighting this bill as much as possible

00:32:51.020 as if if this thing passes second reading in the fall it's ominous it could pass before the next

00:32:59.020 election if we have a next election i and i keep saying i don't put it past trudeau to declare an

00:33:04.820 emergency or a crisis to postpone that next election perhaps indefinitely because these

00:33:10.260 people are all working in concert this is confirmed to me that what's happening in the uk what happened

00:33:16.440 in france with the arrest of the ceo telegram confirms to me that these people are working

00:33:22.440 in concert there's a higher agenda going on here there's a globalist agenda they're all reading from

00:33:27.520 the same talking points kamala harris is the same way she's reading from justin trudeau's housing plan

00:33:32.540 for god's sake she's reading from the same talking points that the liberal party of canada produces

00:33:37.200 as the uk labor party produces as emmanuel macron is saying in france these people all have the same

00:33:44.780 script and it's frightening because you know where that script is coming from it's coming from the wf

00:33:49.500 another globalist organization all right well let us remember that the uh original sort of communist

00:33:56.700 movement and socialist movement it was called common turn communist international right

00:34:02.300 what do we what do we have now it's international in scope they don't believe in uh nation sovereignty

00:34:08.360 they don't believe in your right to express yourself like we got some ominous parallels here

00:34:13.680 that people should be investigating as they see what their governments are doing to them

00:34:17.560 oh that's that's a very good point communist international and now we have globalists

00:34:23.580 international and we have we have people who are all doing the same thing and people wonder

00:34:28.540 well i wonder why free speech is being attacked in the traditional democracies uk canada australia

00:34:34.700 united states all at the same time it's like there's something behind this yeah there is obviously you

00:34:40.100 really have to have your head in the sand not to notice that these people are being orchestrated and

00:34:45.980 but i tell you gord thank you for keeping on top of this story because i know there's a lot of canadians

00:34:51.760 who just want to ignore it want to pretend this just just has didn't happen that the police didn't act

00:34:56.920 this way that we can keep trusting everybody trust your government trust your police force i don't

00:35:02.060 anyway i i haven't for you know for quite some time but as a former military guy i always did trust the

00:35:07.780 rcmp i i always i always saw them as almost brothers in arms comrades in arms we were fighting the same

00:35:13.800 good fight for canada i don't see that anymore i see them being in the pocket of justin trudeau

00:35:18.040 or whomever is paying the salary and i think that's ominous for canada i think that's very

00:35:23.340 very very bad because i don't think we have equal justice in this pr in this trial and coots has

00:35:29.180 proven that to me so i my my hope and my prayers are with these guys this week i i would i would like

00:35:36.000 them to see them get out i'd like to see them at least get time served and perhaps more but if

00:35:42.980 if the scales of justice are so askew in this country that nine years is even a possibility

00:35:49.080 then it's i i hope there is massive protests and at least a massive realization amongst canadians

00:35:55.600 that there's something wrong with our justice system that it's become persecution right persecution

00:36:00.740 it's become adversarial it has become so politicized it's no longer in our control and i think that's

00:36:10.340 that's dangerous you've been on top of the story from day one and and i my praise goes out to rebel

00:36:16.060 news for being there as well everybody in oberta should be there watch watching this next week

00:36:22.700 because no matter how this goes this is a historic decision for all canadians and that's what i say

00:36:28.880 about chris barber and tamira leach every time i see them in ottawa i say we're you fought for us

00:36:34.900 for covid against covid mandates for basic personal freedom i'm fighting for you today i'm fighting for

00:36:42.280 you because you put your reputation on the line you spent time in jail tamira you guys had your bank

00:36:48.320 accounts frozen you guys have been through hell and back with this trial gone back and forth back and

00:36:53.860 forth it never seems to end so i'm standing with you today this is why i cover these stories as i do

00:37:01.100 because to me this is about basic freedom individual freedom of freedom of speech freedom of assembly and

00:37:08.600 without those things we have no democracy and so people say well aren't you getting a little bit too

00:37:13.960 subjective in this i say no because in the second world war it was clear there was an enemy

00:37:19.580 to world peace to world sanctity to sanity and that enemy was the axis powers and we were standing firm 0.99

00:37:30.340 against that and journalists understood that journalists don't understand today this is a war

00:37:34.240 on the mind this is a war against free speech and we cannot do anything less than fight this war

00:37:41.280 and if we have to we have to stand up and say these people have been unjustly persecuted and that's why

00:37:46.500 i continue to do that so thank you gordon for the work you're doing on this once again you're

00:38:09.720 thanks for having me on david i appreciate your kind words as you said you know uh these people went to

00:38:20.420 went uh windsor uh the border between manitoba and north dakota uh put their put their bodies their

00:38:28.140 trucks their businesses and everything on the line to say that enough is enough and the least i could

00:38:33.960 do is to speak about it and let people know what's going on and and help fill the gap there's a number

00:38:40.340 of people out there also writing about this and paying attention to it and the more the merrier i say

00:38:45.420 and yeah please keep your eyes on it uh september 9th we should be getting a uh a final ruling on
