There's actually one conspiracy theory that he was actually shot in the crossfire by one of his own Secret Service agents.

It's a well known fact that the night before that assassination, they were out partying, drinking until about three o'clock in the morning at a strip club in Dallas.

By a split second, a fraction of a moment, by literally centimeters, a bullet could have hit him in a vulnerable part of the head and not just the right ear, but could have hit him in the forehead, could have hit him in the neck, could have knocked the back of his head off.
