Summary

Justin Trudeau is a narcissist. He likes to travel around the world, burn up the planet, and spend a lot of money on his trips. And he does it by eating lots and lots of cake. Is it a gluttonous addiction, or is it a narcissism?

00:00:00.960 Hi, welcome back to Stand on Guard. I am your host, David Creighton. Thanks for joining me
00:00:07.320 at this odd hour. It's Friday afternoon, but we've got a few things I think we should discuss
00:00:13.560 before the weekend. So we are in a very precarious position in this country. We need political
00:00:22.000 change, but we also need to resolve to resist. Yes, please like the station. You've come through
00:00:42.000 in a big way in the last couple of days. We've got the subscription up just about hitting 26,000
00:00:48.080 on our way to 30. I want to get the 50,000 by the end of the summer. I hope we can get
00:00:54.600 there. With your help, we can. Thanks so much for your support. And of course, we had no
00:01:01.740 question period today. We had no question period yesterday. The MPs are all gone. They've gone
00:01:07.640 home for the summer for three months. I look at my calendar. They're not going to be back
00:01:14.760 until about mid to late September. And so that will put us about a year and a bit before
00:01:24.340 the next election, if we have another election. I wanted to talk again about this food bill.
00:01:32.960 I asked the question in the description, is it true to a glutton for food or a glutton for
00:01:38.920 punishment? I mean, every time this guy leaves the country, there's a horrendous embarrassment
00:01:45.580 just waiting to happen. The first trip to India, he goes around in traditional Indian garb,
00:01:54.000 preening for the cameras with a poor family in tow, looking very uncomfortable. He tries some local
00:02:02.220 dances. And it just opens his mouth at the wrong time. The second trip to India is even worse.
00:02:12.280 The Indian prime minister Modi goes out of his way to ignore him. He's embarrassment, thinks he's a
00:02:18.080 clown. And then, of course, his airplane gets stuck on the runway because it's being investigated for
00:02:27.060 potentially carrying cocaine. Now, somehow he squeezed through that. Obviously, if there was
00:02:35.040 cocaine on board the aircraft, I guess the Indian government decided they didn't want that
00:02:40.740 embarrassment. They didn't need that to overhang the G-20 summit, which Trudeau was in town to attend.
00:02:49.420 So I think they probably just let it pass. Lucky for Trudeau, if he was carrying cocaine on the plane.
00:02:59.580 Of course, we'll never know the whole story, but we can guess, can't we? Yes, we can guess. But Trudeau
00:03:05.500 seems to have an affinity for air travel. And of course, this is the guy who's always telling us we
00:03:11.200 can't even drive our cars because it's creating greenhouse gas emissions, which is creating climate
00:03:17.380 change. And this is an existential threat to Canada and the world. And as I've said a dozen or more
00:03:24.060 times on this broadcast, even if Canada stopped driving cars and heating homes and air conditioning
00:03:31.180 homes during the summer, we would not make a dent in the global greenhouse gas emissions in the so-called
00:03:39.600 global footprint, carbon footprint, because Canada produces less than 1.5 percent of these greenhouse
00:03:46.860 emissions. So it's not a factor. We are not a factor. Even if you believe that all of this so-called
00:03:56.660 climate change is completely anthropocentric, man-made, then Canada shutting down entirely isn't going to
00:04:05.900 affect the equation at all. But here's Trudeau jet-setting around the world all of the time, burning up
00:04:14.140 the carbon that he likes to call pollution, having a wonderful time, vacationing, and
00:04:23.840 always spending the time at the most expensive hotels, the most expensive resorts.
00:04:30.520 And of course, he expects us to subsist on nothing. Canadians are living on food bank, charity.
00:04:43.520 There's a preponderance now of soup kitchens, which we haven't seen since the Great Depression.
00:04:49.960 And all of this is happening under Trudeau's watch. And of course, the big story, I think, of the week.
00:04:56.580 It was picked up by the Toronto Sun, which did an editorial on it. I wrote a story about this for
00:05:08.700 the post-millennial. Polly of Slams Trudeau was spending over $220,000 on food alone during a six-day
00:05:15.020 trip to Asia. It was actually $223,000. $223,000. And it was things like brisket. But the thing that
00:05:24.760 really got my goat and that attracted my attention was the fact that there was cheesecake, Trudeau's
00:05:34.260 cheesecake. And it brought to mind the arrogance and the impudence and the dismissal that was
00:05:43.000 attributed to Marie Antoinette during the end of the Enchant Regime in France, just prior to the French
00:05:51.500 Revolution. I don't know if Marie Antoinette was actually as narcissistic as Justin Trudeau.
00:05:59.840 That's a tall order to fulfill. But certainly, the attitude attributed to the monarchy in France
00:06:08.060 at that time was one of, let them eat cake. Whether she said it or not is unimportant. The French people
00:06:13.860 believed she did say it. And this attitude of egoism, extreme egotism, and extreme narcissism
00:06:23.860 is exhibited by Justin Trudeau. And this story is emblematic of a prime minister who simply doesn't
00:06:32.940 care. He doesn't care. He really thinks this is acceptable. And of course, he didn't say,
00:06:41.960 oh, I really apologize to taxpayers for burning up $223,000 in plain food. Instead, he tried to
00:06:54.660 project the issue onto Pierre Paulio and saying, oh, it's a cheap political trick. And of course,
00:07:01.880 Paulio came back and saying, there's nothing cheap about this. Let's watch the exchange in question
00:07:07.180 period from Tuesday. Rich coming from him as he raises taxes on single moms for the crime of driving
00:07:16.540 to the grocery store while he treats himself to a jet setting experience where the food on the plane
00:07:25.820 out of a six-day trip was $220,000. Beef brisket, parsley potatoes with truffle oil, beef tenderloin with
00:07:34.680 port wine sauce, braised lamb shanks, and even cheese case cake with pistachio brittle. Mr. Speaker with
00:07:42.680 Canadians lined up at the food bank. What's on the menu for this prime minister this summer?
00:07:55.360 Not the image cake. That's exactly what it was about.
00:08:02.360 The right honourable prime minister.
00:08:04.360 Mr. Speaker, the conservatives continue to use cheap attacks and slogans when they stand
00:08:07.360 against support directly for Canadians.
00:08:10.360 The right honourable prime minister from the top, please.
00:08:14.360 Speaker, the right honourable prime minister from the top, please.
00:08:19.360 Speaker, the conservative leader continues to use cheap attacks and slogans while he tries
00:08:30.360 tries to hide from the fact that he is standing with the wealthiest Canadians and against the idea
00:08:35.360 of them paying a little more so that Canadians, young Canadians can buy a home, so that seniors
00:08:41.360 can get their teeth fixed, so that young families can find a place in childcare.
00:08:46.360 These are the investments we're making that they are standing against, Mr. Speaker.
00:08:51.360 We will continue to deliver for Canadians who need them while he chooses to protect the interests
00:08:56.360 of his wealthy friends.
00:08:59.360 You're the one with the wealthy friends.
00:09:06.360 We'll go back to that in a second.
00:09:08.360 But you get this cheap political tricks and to suggest for a minute that this is no big
00:09:18.360 deal.
00:09:19.360 This is no big deal.
00:09:21.360 And what does he rhyme off?
00:09:23.360 His dental plan that seniors can't use, his free lunch program and his affordable housing
00:09:29.360 plan that has yet to build anything.
00:09:33.360 So is this all this guy's done in nine years?
00:09:37.360 Is this?
00:09:38.360 And he thinks this is going to solve the poverty problem.
00:09:41.360 One in four Canadians, 25% of Canadians are now living in poverty.
00:09:48.360 And Polly have quoted that as well this week.
00:09:51.360 I think it was on Monday or Tuesday.
00:09:53.360 Now, so you're telling me a free lunch for kids in school, a dental plan for people who can't
00:10:02.360 even use it.
00:10:03.360 And affordable housing that has yet to even come to fruition is going to somehow staunch
00:10:10.360 this rise in poverty.
00:10:13.360 It's going to ameliorate the poverty pocket that is Canada.
00:10:18.360 Huh?
00:10:19.360 Don't think so.
00:10:20.360 That's all he can talk about.
00:10:22.360 That's all he can say.
00:10:23.360 The honorable leader of the opposition.
00:10:26.360 Mr. Speaker, there's nothing cheap about the $220,000 that he spent on one trip for food
00:10:34.360 alone.
00:10:35.360 The honorable leader of the opposition.
00:10:36.360 The honorable leader of the opposition asked this question.
00:10:40.360 We'll ask all members to please keep their voices down.
00:10:44.360 The honorable leader of the opposition from the top.
00:10:47.360 There's nothing cheap, Mr. Speaker, about the prime minister spending $220,000 for food alone
00:10:54.360 on a six day jet setting tour for himself.
00:10:58.360 All the while, homelessness up 38%.
00:11:02.360 Toronto has 256 homeless encampments where one in 10 people in that city are now eating
00:11:09.360 at food banks.
00:11:10.360 They join 2 million Canadians.
00:11:11.360 The good news is life was not like this before this prime minister, and it won't be like this
00:11:16.360 after he's gone.
00:11:17.360 Can we not have a carbon tax election now to choose a government that will axe the tax, build
00:11:22.360 the homes, fix the budget, and stop the crime?
00:11:29.360 Yeah, that was a good moment.
00:11:31.360 And that was actually Polyev's final statement in question period for this spring session,
00:11:39.360 winter, spring session.
00:11:41.360 And, of course, they were told soon after that that the question period would not be resuming
00:11:48.360 until September.
00:11:50.360 So that's a good way to go out for the summer.
00:11:54.360 But I'll tell you, folks, what disturbs me.
00:12:02.360 What disturbs me is what wasn't said in question period this week.
00:12:06.360 Not a single question from the official opposition about the spy scandal.
00:12:11.360 And I'm not going to stop asking questions about this spy scandal because I think it's incredible
00:12:22.360 that the Bloc Québécois advised the government to just let the Hogue inquiry into foreign interference
00:12:34.360 the Bloc Québécois deal with this.
00:12:36.360 The Bloc Québécois, a separatist party that has no business providing advice to the federal government
00:12:43.360 or to Canadians.
00:12:45.360 This is a party that is basically treasonous.
00:12:59.360 It's already fighting.
00:13:01.360 The Independent Republic of Quebec might not exist right now, but that's what the Bloc is
00:13:07.360 fighting for.
00:13:08.360 They don't fight for Canadians.
00:13:09.360 So they should not be dispensing advice as to what we should be doing about foreign interference
00:13:14.360 because they are foreign interference.
00:13:17.360 I hate to put it that bluntly, but that's exactly what they are.
00:13:22.360 So why did the Liberals agree to this?
00:13:25.360 Well, obviously, they don't want anything to come out about these spies.
00:13:30.360 They don't want us to even know how many.
00:13:32.360 They certainly don't want us to know their names.
00:13:35.360 And they want the story to die during the summer.
00:13:38.360 How do I know that?
00:13:40.360 Because everybody kept their mouth shut about it.
00:13:43.360 Everybody kept their mouth, including the official opposition conservatives, who agreed that
00:13:49.360 the Hogue inquiry should be entrusted with this report.
00:13:55.360 And they should decide, Justice Hogue should decide what to do about these names.
00:14:04.360 That's not good enough, folks.
00:14:06.360 And it worries me that the conservatives dropped this issue this week in question period.
00:14:12.360 Not a single question about it.
00:14:15.360 Do the conservatives also want this report to die and this clamor for the names to cease?
00:14:23.360 I think so.
00:14:24.360 I'm not sure why.
00:14:26.360 Because there are a number of good MPs in the conservative party who are fighting hard on this file.
00:14:33.360 Michael Cooper comes to mind, who I've interviewed several times on this station and wanted to again this week.
00:14:40.360 That didn't work out.
00:14:41.360 Probably be talking to him next week.
00:14:43.360 But there are a lot of conservative MPs who are fighting hard on this foreign influence and interference file.
00:14:50.360 So I don't know why the conservative party wanted this issue buried this week.
00:14:57.360 But I'm concerned that there's an assumption that this issue is going to die over the summer months.
00:15:04.360 Because, unfortunately, in Canada, we are far too geared to question period generating the news.
00:15:12.360 We rely far too much on question period to dictate what the news stories of the day are.
00:15:19.360 And when there's no question period, journalists are forced to find the news by themselves and not to sit watching question period.
00:15:28.360 And believe me, most of them, because I've been doing a lot of question period, obviously, from my office.
00:15:36.360 And I haven't been downtown Ottawa doing it from the House.
00:15:41.360 But for many years, I sat in the press gallery as a member of the Parliamentary Press Gallery covering it from there.
00:15:49.360 Nobody even goes up to the press gallery anymore to watch question period.
00:15:54.360 They sit in the basement where the media room is, and they watch it on television.
00:16:00.360 They don't even go up to watch it in person anymore.
00:16:04.360 So that's where we've come to.
00:16:06.360 But I'm not hearing or seeing a great deal of demand from the mainstream media that these names of these spies, yes, they're spies, be named.
00:16:18.360 There is a deliberate aversion to this story.
00:16:22.360 Almost like it's just too embarrassing to cover.
00:16:25.360 It's just too hot to handle.
00:16:27.360 And that is exactly what Justin Trudeau is doing with this story.
00:16:31.360 And it is abominable that he's getting away with it.
00:16:36.360 And he is getting away with it.
00:16:39.360 So we need to continue to demand answers throughout the summer months.
00:16:44.360 I will be doing that.
00:16:46.360 I will be continuing to interview MPs like Michael Cooper and other people who want answers.
00:16:53.360 If he hasn't been gagged by the conservative party communications team, which isn't a habit of doing that to MPs.
00:17:02.360 I had three MPs shut down on me in the last three weeks.
00:17:06.360 Who were told, don't talk to Creighton.
00:17:09.360 Don't talk to any conservative, small C conservative media.
00:17:12.360 They might ask embarrassing questions.
00:17:15.360 Yes.
00:17:16.360 I can tell you who they are, but there's really no point.
00:17:22.360 And these are usually MPs who are quite talkative to the media, but they were told not to talk to me.
00:17:30.360 I know that because the communication ceased once the conservative party communications people intervened and talked to me and said, we'll look at this for you.
00:17:41.360 Well, no, they didn't look at it for me.
00:17:43.360 I worked in the Hill for years.
00:17:45.360 I know how the system works.
00:17:46.360 I know how they operate.
00:17:47.360 And unfortunately, when the conservatives smell power, when they think they're close to power, they have a habit of hiding their members of parliament and of gagging their members of parliament.
00:18:01.360 We don't want to do that this time around because Canadians see right through it and the media sees right through it, including independent and new media that generally give them a break.
00:18:15.360 But I'm not giving conservatives a break.
00:18:17.360 I'm not carrying water for conservatives if they are refusing to talk to the media.
00:18:26.360 I'm not carrying water for any political party.
00:18:29.360 I've done that in the past.
00:18:31.360 I don't do that anymore.
00:18:32.360 I report the news as I see it, objectively, fairly, coherently, and comprehensively.
00:18:39.360 That's what I'm here for.
00:18:41.360 And I thank you, the viewers, for your loyalty for doing that.
00:18:46.360 So that's my primary concern for the summer.
00:18:49.360 My primary question is, will Justin Trudeau survive the summer?
00:18:55.360 The next three months.
00:18:57.360 Now, his father decided to step down in 1984 on February 29th.
00:19:06.360 That was 40 years ago.
00:19:08.360 Yeah, it was indeed.
00:19:11.360 It was a leap year.
00:19:13.360 It was February 29th.
00:19:14.360 He took a walk in the blizzard and decided he was going to step down as prime minister.
00:19:21.360 After all those years, almost 16 years as prime minister.
00:19:26.360 Will Justin Trudeau take the summer months to think about his future?
00:19:33.360 He clearly cannot win again.
00:19:36.360 And he's delusional to think he can win.
00:19:42.360 He's delusional to think the Liberal Party deserves to win.
00:19:47.360 But, you know, I was watching a segment of Redacted the other day.
00:19:53.360 And the segment was focused on how we are so close to a nuclear war.
00:19:58.360 We're on the brink of a nuclear war.
00:20:00.360 And this will be beyond catastrophic.
00:20:03.360 It could be life ending for all of us.
00:20:07.360 To the extent that I think we don't really believe it's going to happen.
00:20:13.360 Or it can happen.
00:20:14.360 It's just unthinkable.
00:20:16.360 It's unbelievable.
00:20:17.360 But it can happen.
00:20:19.360 Yes.
00:20:20.360 And I've talked about this for the last year.
00:20:22.360 How nuclear war is a feasible option because of what NATO is demanding.
00:20:29.360 And you start a war with Russia, it's no small matter.
00:20:36.360 It will very quickly evolve into a nuclear confrontation and a nuclear war.
00:20:43.360 And that's going to happen if NATO does not get out of its delusion.
00:20:48.360 And that's exactly what the guest was talking about with Clayton Morris.
00:20:53.360 There is a delusion amongst world leaders right now.
00:20:58.360 Joe Biden thinks he's not demented.
00:21:00.360 Joe Biden thinks he can win another election.
00:21:03.360 The Democrats might force him out because he can't win the next election.
00:21:09.360 Justin Trudeau thinks he can win another election.
00:21:13.360 Steven Gilbo thinks he can sit there and tell you not to drive your gas powered vehicle.
00:21:21.360 Not to heat your home in the winter.
00:21:23.360 And not to use the air conditioner in the summer.
00:21:25.360 Because you are the problem.
00:21:26.360 Not him.
00:21:27.360 Not this guy who flies to China every September to hobnob with his communist comrades.
00:21:32.360 Not Justin Trudeau who flies around the world on his private jet.
00:21:36.360 Costing taxpayers $223,000 for meals alone.
00:21:41.360 These people are delusional.
00:21:43.360 And the liberal government is delusional to think all they have to do is say eight out of ten Canadians receive more back from the carbon rebate than they do from being subject to the carbon tax.
00:21:58.360 It's a lie.
00:21:59.360 It's a lie.
00:22:00.360 We all know it's a lie.
00:22:01.360 The parliamentary budget officer has said it's a lie.
00:22:05.360 The liberals own documents say it's a lie.
00:22:09.360 But Trudeau keeps repeating it.
00:22:11.360 Natural resources minister Jonathan Wilkinson repeats it every time he stands up.
00:22:17.360 Steven Gilbo repeats it every time he stands up.
00:22:20.360 Christia Freeland, the finance minister.
00:22:23.360 She repeats it.
00:22:24.360 It is a talking point.
00:22:26.360 It's from a script that is completely unbalanced and untrue.
00:22:33.360 But it's because this is a delusional government.
00:22:37.360 You might recall the Bible talks about, and this is not a religious broadcast, but I can't resist saying this.
00:22:44.360 The Bible talks in 2 Thessalonians about the end times being a period of where God sends strong delusion because people did not believe the truth.
00:22:55.360 And that's exactly what we are participating in and what we're experiencing right now.
00:23:00.360 Strong delusion from politicians around the world.
00:23:04.360 Politicians who think Canadians are going to just suck it up.
00:23:09.360 We're just going to keep taking this authoritarian government.
00:23:12.360 We're going to keep taking this climate change mantra.
00:23:15.360 We're going to keep taking euthanasia.
00:23:17.360 We're going to keep taking economic disaster.
00:23:21.360 We're going to accept a government that takes two thirds of our capital gains.
00:23:26.360 And Trudeau keeps saying, oh, it's only going to affect the very wealthy or the wealthiest Canadians.
00:23:36.360 And it's just a little bit.
00:23:39.360 It's two thirds.
00:23:40.360 That's theft.
00:23:42.360 And it's like being taxed twice.
00:23:45.360 Capital gains is like being taxed twice.
00:23:48.360 You're being taxed on income you already paid tax on.
00:23:52.360 So stop saying it's only hurting or affecting the super rich.
00:23:57.360 It's affecting everybody.
00:23:59.360 And people have been telling me that all week.
00:24:01.360 Hey, I'm a plumber.
00:24:02.360 I'm an electrician.
00:24:03.360 I'm a welder.
00:24:05.360 I make pretty good money.
00:24:07.360 I have money to invest.
00:24:09.360 This liberal government's taking my money away.
00:24:12.360 I don't consider myself the super rich.
00:24:15.360 But I tell you, I can't afford to live on $60,000 a year like Chrystia Freeland thinks everybody's living on.
00:24:24.360 So those are my concerns.
00:24:26.360 I will continue to broadcast six to seven days a week throughout the summer.
00:24:32.360 I'll continue to work for you and report the news that you need to know.
00:24:36.360 I want to thank you for being a solid supporter of Stand on Guard and the Creighton's Right Network.
00:24:43.360 We're here because other people aren't.
00:24:47.360 And I have really enjoyed being with you.
00:24:53.360 It's my birthday today, by the way.
00:24:55.360 June 21st.
00:24:56.360 It's my birthday.
00:24:57.360 And I wanted to spend some time with you, my supporters, my subscribers, the people who make this station what it is.
00:25:06.360 Thank you for your support.
00:25:07.360 And I'll be back again tomorrow with more news and hopefully some good news.
00:25:13.360 Thanks for watching.
