00:00:01.000 Good morning. Welcome to another episode of Stand on Guard. We've got a great show for
00:00:05.840 you and a special surprise appearance by your favorite minister. When we come back, the
00:00:14.460 ship is sinking. It's a ship of fools and the fools are going down with the ship, but
00:00:20.280 not before they make absolute bigger fools of themselves. And wait till you see Randy
00:00:26.420 Boissoneau. We'll be right back with more.
00:00:56.420 Okay, no more technical glitches, I promise. Thanks for watching. It's Tuesday, August
00:01:12.760 27th. 2024 are in the last days of August. Always makes me a little bit melancholy as
00:01:22.220 I see the August go away, but life goes on, doesn't it? We've got a great show for you
00:01:27.800 today and we're going to talk about the complete delusion in the liberal cabinet. How real is
00:01:34.920 it? Well, it's difficult to say. Politicians lie through their teeth constantly about reality
00:01:43.620 and about how they really feel. We're going to show some clips, though, about what's going
00:01:47.720 on in the heralded Trudeau cabinet retreat, where, of course, yesterday, I know I didn't
00:01:55.300 get it live, but you did see Justin Trudeau respond to questions about his leadership. And
00:02:01.280 of course, he just deflected every question, saying, I'm here working for Canadians. We're
00:02:05.800 going to roll up our sleeves. These are challenging times. You know the talking points. And the man
00:02:10.520 is so self-obsessed, such a narcissistic SOB, that he just can't relate. The fact that huge
00:02:19.520 numbers of Canadians loathe him. They're sick of his smirking face. They're sick of his talking
00:02:26.340 point. They're sick of him standing up there and looking at everybody like, he's just so superior.
00:02:32.180 You know, it's that, it is farcical. It's shambolic. This is what Justin Trudeau has become.
00:02:39.360 You know, the very embodiment of the narcissistic politician. And this is what he continues to
00:02:46.960 be. So what's, so what's happening? I'm going to save the Randy Boissoneau clip for last,
00:02:52.640 because you won't believe what Boissoneau did at the cabinet retreat. I haven't seen any coverage
00:02:59.280 of this because it was almost like an after the fact insertion into a question and answer
00:03:06.900 session. But of course, yeah, it's top of the news. It's Trudeau. You look at Trudeau. It looks
00:03:12.620 like he's trying to think something here. Great thoughts. And of course, they're all saying,
00:03:18.060 sorry, Trudeau, just cutting back on the foreign temporary foreign worker program and putting some
00:03:24.380 tariffs on Chinese electric vehicles isn't going to do it. That's not enough. How stupid do you think
00:03:32.000 Canadians are? This is the conversation they're having behind closed doors. Yes, I know that.
00:03:38.860 And we'll see the conversation that they say they're having when we watch some of these clips,
00:03:44.560 which are agonizing to watch. It's, it's agonizing to watch anybody, even if they're liberals,
00:03:50.600 even if they're liberal cabinet ministers, tie themselves into up into knots, into pretzels,
00:03:55.420 lying about reality. It's agonizing to see anybody lie that badly. But they do. So what's really
00:04:04.180 happening here, of course, CBC News spoke to six MPs who say they want to see cabinet agree on several
00:04:10.860 measures. A major cabinet shuffle, simplified public messaging, an effort to market the liberals as a
00:04:16.500 team, and a more aggressive communications campaign contrasting the party with the conservatives.
00:04:23.120 Well, that's pretty hard to do. The latter is very hard to do when the conservatives are the one who
00:04:27.920 proposed tariffs on electric vehicles from China. And true to what the Times said, well, it's been
00:04:34.100 preposterous. We're not going to do that. And of course, yesterday, that was the real main plank of his
00:04:40.060 change announcement. Yes, we're going to put tariffs on Chinese EVs, just like Polyam. So how are they
00:04:45.740 going to contrast their policy from the conservatives? Sounds like they're just now, they're so desperate,
00:04:50.360 they're borrowing policy from the conservatives. Just like Kamala Harris is borrowing her housing
00:04:57.660 policy from the Trudeau liberals. So it really is an absurdity what's going on here. But
00:05:05.440 the sources who spoke to CBC knows on the condition they not be named. God forbid they should be named
00:05:12.620 because Trudeau will do something so they could speak freely. So that Trudeau has acknowledged
00:05:18.440 privately what hasn't worked for his government over the past year, but hasn't done so publicly.
00:05:23.080 Well, he hasn't worked for his government. In fact, literally, he hasn't worked. The man spends most of
00:05:29.520 his time on vacation, doesn't read briefing notes, doesn't give a damn what's going on in the country,
00:05:36.000 doesn't understand ordinary Canadians, probably doesn't know one. When he sees them, he walks the other side of
00:05:41.540 the street because they're protesting. So it's a huge farce. So the liberals are drawing inspiration
00:05:49.880 from these surging Democrats. Of course, the Democrats are not surging in the U.S. That is a complete lie.
00:05:58.880 All of this euphoria over Kamala Harris, the vice president, who is now the Democratic presidential
00:06:04.540 nominee, is completely fabricated. There's no euphoria over her. She hasn't had a news conference
00:06:10.020 since she illegally took the leadership of the party, since she illegally stole the nomination.
00:06:17.460 Nobody elected her. Nobody voted for her. That's the only kind of election she can win,
00:06:22.180 where nobody votes. And the whole thing is a farce. And to say that she has a great fiscal policy,
00:06:28.360 which adds up to, well, I know what inflation looks like. It's when you go to the store and the
00:06:33.800 price of eggs has gone up. Yeah, that's the very edge of perspicacity. But unfortunately,
00:06:41.820 it doesn't add up to any kind of policy because all she's talking about is price controls that are
00:06:45.880 going to make the United States and eventually Canada, because everything the United States does
00:06:51.520 affects Canada almost immediately. It's going to turn the grocery stores in the United States into
00:06:56.860 barren storage at houses. It's going to mean scarcity of food, goods, and perhaps even services.
00:07:05.960 This is what we don't even realize. This is a recipe for catastrophe. The United States is already
00:07:10.860 teetering on the brink of disaster. It's way overspent on foreign wars. It's overextended itself
00:07:16.720 everywhere. It has no money for these miraculous, stupid measures. And it's pretending it does,
00:07:23.760 just like Canada continues to pretend. Let's have a look at this other slide here.
00:07:27.620 Multiple liberal MPs said they want to see a major cabinet shuffle sweep out ministers who aren't
00:07:32.060 delivering, like maybe 80% of them, and pulling their political weight. Well, you know, there's a
00:07:38.140 lot of overweight ones. One source said that the caucus has been coordinating a list of cabinet
00:07:43.660 ministers some MPs want to see dropped from cabinet. Well, I'm sure we could all put together
00:07:49.920 a nice list of MPs we'd like to see dropped from cabinet. Let's have a look at some of them. I'm
00:07:54.920 just going to play a bit here to remind you of Trudeau's performance yesterday. This was pathetic.
00:08:02.260 This was absolutely abysmal. But, you know, as I say over and over again, in politics,
00:08:09.500 politics, it's all about convincing people you're not really in trouble.
00:08:18.220 And this is what the Trudeau liberals are trying to do right now.
00:08:21.460 They're trying to convince you that there's no storm clouds on the horizon.
00:08:26.380 Even though the storm clouds aren't on the horizon, they're right above them.
00:08:29.600 And it's raining hard. And their gale force wins.
00:08:33.600 But no problem. We're going to get through this.
00:08:38.180 But the ship is sinking.
00:08:40.360 You see, have a look at the thumbnail.
00:08:43.040 The ship is sinking. They're going down with the ship.
00:08:47.240 You're going to see cabinet ministers of the caliber,
00:08:51.180 and I use that word haltingly,
00:08:54.160 because I don't like to suggest people like Melanie Jolie
00:08:56.800 have anything to offer this country
00:08:59.540 except a, shall we say,
00:09:03.340 a pugnacious attitude
00:09:06.060 in defiance of their own lack of abilities.
00:09:10.060 But let's watch Trudeau smirk at the camera
00:09:13.420 and say, no problem, yesterday.
00:09:14.760 That you plan to stay on to say persistently bad polling,
00:09:18.660 despite the by-election loss in Toronto
00:09:21.220 that your party lost for the first time in three decades
00:09:23.480 because you want to continue to deliver.
00:09:25.740 Isn't that what Joe Biden insisted on?
00:09:28.620 Listen, we are focused on being there for Canadians.
00:09:33.600 We are focused on stepping up on support and investments
00:09:38.080 that are going to leave Canadians better off for the coming years.
00:09:42.720 Told you it was a blunt question.
00:09:44.420 Well, there has been discontent in the liberal ranks,
00:09:47.300 but Trudeau's cabinet ministers say they are standing by him.
00:09:50.240 We have confidence in him as the leader of our government,
00:09:54.500 as the prime minister of Canada,
00:09:56.720 and we have confidence in him as our party's leader,
00:10:01.740 as the guy who is going to lead us into the next election.
00:10:04.920 I think the prime minister is doing a great job
00:10:07.500 in making sure that he's reflecting what Canadians are saying and hearing.
00:10:10.960 I'm very hopeful and optimistic about this next election
00:10:14.180 with the leader we have, with the team we have.
00:10:16.800 It's lost in Toronto that your party
00:10:20.240 All right, I was going to show you more of that CBC analysis,
00:10:24.620 but I've got better things to do now.
00:10:26.880 But do you see them lying through their teeth there,
00:10:29.600 suggesting that, whoo, whoo, just a minute now.
00:10:33.040 We're just so behind Justin Trudeau.
00:10:35.300 He's doing such a wonderful job.
00:10:37.380 The sycophants in this cabinet are just embarrassing to watch.
00:10:41.960 But the absolute toadying to Justin Trudeau as some sort of leader
00:10:47.400 after he has made a disaster of things.
00:10:50.340 Imagine this.
00:10:51.080 This guy is lucky to be prime minister after nine years.
00:10:54.700 He shouldn't have won in 2015.
00:10:57.000 Harper should have won that election.
00:10:58.420 But the conservative campaign blew it.
00:11:02.100 I was there reporting at the time for iPolitics about that campaign.
00:11:07.840 The conservatives blew that campaign totally
00:11:10.260 by focusing entirely on Stephen Harper,
00:11:12.680 not on the campaign, not on individual MPs,
00:11:16.060 not on the work that the government had did.
00:11:18.900 They focused entirely on Stephen Harper
00:11:20.560 because they had people running the campaign
00:11:22.800 who don't really understand politics
00:11:24.980 and don't understand ordinary Canadians.
00:11:27.440 And they kept saying Trudeau is just not ready.
00:11:29.280 When's he going to be ready, next year, in six months, next week?
00:11:33.300 Stupid, stupid campaign.
00:11:35.600 Very stupid campaign.
00:11:37.160 So he was lucky to win in 2015.
00:11:38.800 Then he had the back-to-back minority governments,
00:11:41.160 which he really squeaked by on.
00:11:44.160 And now he wants to come back.
00:11:45.760 You know why?
00:11:46.580 Because like his father, he wants to go out
00:11:48.780 with a majority government.
00:11:51.780 Trudeau came back in 1980
00:11:54.020 after being defeated by Joe Clark in 1979.
00:11:57.200 That conservative government
00:11:59.300 that lived for about nine months,
00:12:00.980 you might have been around for that.
00:12:03.520 If you weren't,
00:12:04.540 it was defeated over a gasoline tax,
00:12:08.720 which the liberals ironically voted against.
00:12:11.720 And in finance minister John Crosby's budget of that year,
00:12:17.340 it was a very late,
00:12:20.620 I'm trying to remember,
00:12:21.760 it was probably a November budget,
00:12:24.100 very late in the year, very odd.
00:12:25.180 And we went to a February election.
00:12:27.320 I can still remember the date, February 22nd, 1980.
00:12:31.000 And Trudeau won another majority,
00:12:33.320 spent his last four years, of course,
00:12:34.900 repatriating the Constitution
00:12:36.160 and going on some world peace drive.
00:12:39.780 And that's why Justin Trudeau wants to go.
00:12:41.620 He doesn't want to go out as the prime minister
00:12:43.260 who had to be solidified in power
00:12:49.020 because the new Democratic Party kept him of power.
00:12:51.840 He doesn't want to be remembered as the liberal
00:12:53.780 who couldn't do it on his own,
00:12:55.380 as the liberal prime minister
00:12:56.560 who had to suck up to the NDP
00:12:58.180 to get through four years as a government.
00:13:02.920 He doesn't want to be remembered
00:13:04.420 as the guy who didn't do it on his own
00:13:06.600 because he is so narcissistic,
00:13:08.180 he's so self-obsessed,
00:13:09.140 so egotistical that he can't stand that.
00:13:11.720 So he wants to go out with a majority government.
00:13:13.640 And it's the only reason he's sticking around
00:13:15.800 or he thinks he's sticking around
00:13:17.680 for the next election in October of 2025,
00:13:20.180 if we have one.
00:13:21.460 And I keep saying he'll do anything in his power
00:13:23.440 to not have an election
00:13:24.740 because he knows he's going to get defeated badly.
00:13:27.720 It will be the largest liberal defeat in history
00:13:30.740 if Justin Trudeau remains leader of that party.
00:13:34.540 The caucus knows it.
00:13:35.900 That's why they want change.
00:13:37.080 The cabinet knows it,
00:13:37.960 even though they're lying through their teeth
00:13:39.140 about how much they love him.
00:13:39.960 Listen to Melanie Jolie,
00:13:41.240 who, of course, has been romantically linked
00:13:43.060 to Justin Trudeau.
00:13:47.080 Even though I think he might have other items in the fire.
00:13:51.500 Tana McCharles.
00:13:52.460 Hi, good to see you.
00:13:54.320 Good, only woman asking me questions.
00:13:56.500 That's good.
00:13:57.100 Hi.
00:13:57.920 To Mia's point, though,
00:13:59.440 I think the question wasn't so much around,
00:14:01.380 you know, can you work with any administration?
00:14:03.360 We know your answer to that.
00:14:04.720 I think the question we're trying to draw out from you
00:14:07.040 is what you learned from watching the races south of the border,
00:14:13.540 how the dynamic has been so fluid,
00:14:15.580 if you had any takeaways for your own party
00:14:18.640 and your own future fortunes.
00:14:20.900 And I know you say you're busy working as a foreign minister.
00:14:23.480 Of course you are.
00:14:24.440 But you're also a minister in Quebec,
00:14:26.120 and you would have concerns around the party's electability
00:14:29.360 in all kinds of places.
00:14:30.740 So talk to us about how you see the way forward
00:14:33.840 in the next few months to ensure your own re-election,
00:14:36.160 your party's re-election.
00:14:38.300 Well, listen, okay, I'll start with the U.S.
00:14:40.260 When it comes to the U.S., we're following very, very closely.
00:14:42.980 I've told you that.
00:14:44.580 And, of course, we're following the dynamics on both sides.
00:14:50.220 The race is very tight,
00:14:51.660 and that's the only comment that I will make
00:14:54.040 on what's happening in the U.S.
00:14:55.920 And...
00:14:56.200 I know, I know, I know, Tonda.
00:14:57.900 I know, but let me finish my answer.
00:14:59.720 I've given you the time to ask your question.
00:15:02.380 And meanwhile, I'm engaging with the Republicans,
00:15:06.500 and I'm engaging with the Democrats,
00:15:08.660 with the Biden administration,
00:15:10.220 with the Kamala Harris team.
00:15:12.240 So that's been what I've been doing behind closed doors.
00:15:16.520 Meanwhile, here...
00:15:17.380 What else have you been doing behind closed doors, Melanie?
00:15:20.420 I'd like to know.
00:15:21.020 Have you noticed, by the way,
00:15:21.940 and I'm sure you have,
00:15:22.800 you're very astute viewers,
00:15:24.860 that every reporter is always the same
00:15:27.960 in every news conference for Trudeau
00:15:29.480 or all the cabinet ministers.
00:15:30.840 They're always the same hand-picked reporters.
00:15:33.440 You think I could get in there?
00:15:34.440 No.
00:15:35.320 Not as an independent journalist
00:15:36.560 or not as a senior parliamentary correspondent
00:15:40.480 for the post-millennial.
00:15:41.560 Do you think they would let me in?
00:15:42.580 Of course not.
00:15:43.260 They don't let any independent or new media in
00:15:46.540 to these news conferences.
00:15:48.600 It's the same reporters.
00:15:49.560 But even those same reporters,
00:15:51.500 like Tondra McCharles,
00:15:53.720 are asking the impertinent questions now,
00:15:56.100 the difficult questions.
00:15:57.320 The liberals are saying,
00:15:58.100 oh my God, we can't answer.
00:16:00.720 We shouldn't be asking,
00:16:01.580 you shouldn't be asking questions like that, Tondra.
00:16:04.120 But here she goes,
00:16:06.460 continuing to lie through her.
00:16:08.000 Of course we're connected to what people think.
00:16:12.500 Of course I've been connecting with people
00:16:15.000 in my own writing.
00:16:16.440 I've been door knocking,
00:16:17.660 also while being foreign minister,
00:16:19.600 in La Salle Verdun.
00:16:21.080 And I'm confident that we can win
00:16:23.780 the by-election in La Salle Verdun.
00:16:26.380 Meanwhile,
00:16:27.420 are people preoccupied about affordability, housing?
00:16:30.900 Of course they are.
00:16:32.540 And we're not disconnected from that.
00:16:34.120 So we need to work on it
00:16:35.720 and we need to be able to provide the hope
00:16:37.960 that is necessary
00:16:39.340 in these times where a lot of people
00:16:41.620 are feeling lots of anxiety.
00:16:44.740 So, yeah, just like Kamala Harris.
00:16:48.060 I know what inflation is
00:16:49.580 and the great Melanie Jolie,
00:16:52.220 yeah, I know we have a problem with affordability.
00:16:55.580 Is that the only problem you see
00:16:58.880 that lies ahead trying to prove to Canadians
00:17:00.680 you can deliver results?
00:17:03.260 Is that the only thing you think
00:17:04.640 is the change thing that's needed
00:17:07.080 that people are looking for?
00:17:07.820 Well, listen,
00:17:08.740 I think when it comes to politics,
00:17:10.060 it's all about trust
00:17:11.140 and whether people trust
00:17:12.980 the work you're doing as a government.
00:17:15.500 Do you trust this woman?
00:17:17.320 Do you trust the Trudeau government?
00:17:19.000 She's hit the nail on the head
00:17:20.720 for once in her life.
00:17:22.240 Yes, it's about trust.
00:17:23.860 And Canadians don't trust you.
00:17:26.720 They don't like you.
00:17:28.000 And by the way,
00:17:29.680 please light station.
00:17:31.260 Before we get to the end,
00:17:32.680 don't go away
00:17:33.520 because you're going to love
00:17:34.520 the Randy Boissoneau clip
00:17:35.960 at the end of this program.
00:17:37.600 Don't go away.
00:17:38.640 You want to see this.
00:17:39.960 And I think the challenges
00:17:40.860 we're facing are real.
00:17:42.860 And we're not the only country
00:17:45.680 facing these challenges,
00:17:46.900 but we have to be better at it
00:17:49.160 to make sure
00:17:49.900 that we're delivering results, period.
00:17:52.320 And so the proof is in the pudding.
00:17:54.220 The proof is in the pudding.
00:17:58.400 Aha.
00:17:58.980 Is that an old Quebecois slogan?
00:18:01.240 Is it interesting that she says, period?
00:18:06.620 It's over for you, Melanie, period.
00:18:10.000 Because even Quebecers
00:18:11.720 can see through
00:18:13.000 the slothful, waste-of-time government
00:18:17.120 that eats up your money,
00:18:19.280 eats up taxpayers' money,
00:18:21.500 and wastes enormous amounts of time
00:18:24.760 navel-gazing at these
00:18:27.120 caucus and cabinet retreats,
00:18:29.840 coming up with absolutely nothing
00:18:31.580 except observations
00:18:33.420 about what's wrong with the country.
00:18:35.120 There's no change in this retreat.
00:18:37.380 There was never any intention
00:18:38.640 of having change.
00:18:40.700 The only intention was
00:18:42.020 to somehow present
00:18:43.880 a unified front,
00:18:45.740 that these cabinet ministers
00:18:46.560 just love Justin Trudeau.
00:18:47.560 Let's listen to another one
00:18:49.120 of your favorites,
00:18:50.220 Immigration Minister Mark Miller.
00:18:52.860 This is the guy
00:18:53.520 who's systematically destroying Canada
00:18:55.800 through mass migration
00:18:57.540 and who really would love
00:18:59.640 an open border
00:19:00.500 because his immigration cap
00:19:02.600 doesn't even take effect
00:19:04.040 until after the Liberals
00:19:05.360 are defeated in the next election.
00:19:07.240 Are you reflecting
00:19:07.780 that you've been doing
00:19:08.760 on the state of the party
00:19:09.940 and what you want to see
00:19:11.080 change moving forward?
00:19:12.400 Not with you guys in public.
00:19:13.800 That's for damn sure.
00:19:15.900 But sure, you know,
00:19:17.020 look, I think we have to have
00:19:18.500 the...
00:19:19.300 Tonda's laughing.
00:19:21.320 We're all laughing at you.
00:19:22.640 The reality is we have
00:19:23.380 to have these conversations
00:19:24.660 behind closed doors.
00:19:25.940 It's important for the health
00:19:27.180 of the party,
00:19:28.360 the cohesion that we have
00:19:29.260 in cabinet in particular.
00:19:30.660 We have a number of political
00:19:31.520 conversations coming up
00:19:32.560 and we expect that to be,
00:19:34.240 expect them to be quite robust.
00:19:36.660 Prime Minister is,
00:19:37.900 has been quite active
00:19:38.900 throughout the summer
00:19:39.400 speaking individually
00:19:40.180 to caucus members
00:19:40.920 to talk about their challenges,
00:19:42.500 where they see the country going,
00:19:43.520 whether they want to run
00:19:45.420 for during the next election.
00:19:48.700 I think that's exceedingly important
00:19:50.420 as a leader.
00:19:51.380 That's what you would expect of them.
00:19:52.920 But we also have our points of views
00:19:54.220 as cabinet ministers
00:19:54.880 and we make them known,
00:19:56.520 but just not in public.
00:19:59.240 Yeah, you don't make it known.
00:20:00.540 So there he goes once again,
00:20:02.540 smiling like,
00:20:03.500 you don't believe a word
00:20:04.360 I'm saying, do you?
00:20:05.880 You can't possibly be buying this,
00:20:07.560 but I'm going to do my best
00:20:08.520 to lie and convince you.
00:20:10.160 Now we're getting to the best.
00:20:12.440 Please stick,
00:20:13.840 stick around for the conclusion
00:20:15.580 of this broadcast
00:20:16.880 because you're going to love this.
00:20:18.180 Nobody that I saw this morning
00:20:20.180 has found this Randy Boissoneau clip.
00:20:23.820 Now Randy Boissoneau,
00:20:24.920 you know,
00:20:25.220 this is the guy who's,
00:20:26.620 who clearly would appear
00:20:28.140 to be in conflict of interest
00:20:29.540 as a cabinet minister
00:20:30.620 who still has his hands
00:20:32.300 on a consulting firm.
00:20:34.260 And of course,
00:20:34.940 you know all about the other Randy
00:20:36.400 that didn't exist
00:20:37.200 and we'll be updating you
00:20:38.560 on that in a minute.
00:20:40.160 But this is a man
00:20:41.600 who's so self-obsessed.
00:20:43.280 He doesn't really want to talk
00:20:44.980 about Trudeau's leadership.
00:20:46.600 He mentions it.
00:20:47.900 He wants to talk about how,
00:20:49.880 oh, what a victim he is.
00:20:52.100 I'm the victim here.
00:20:53.560 Randy, cue ball Randy Boissoneau
00:20:56.260 is the victim.
00:20:57.800 And of course,
00:20:58.380 he's been assaulted
00:20:59.420 by hateful people all summer.
00:21:02.240 It's just incredible to watch.
00:21:03.640 Let's, let's have a look.
00:21:06.240 I've been reflecting on the summer
00:21:07.780 on the personal,
00:21:09.260 on personal attacks in politics.
00:21:11.160 I don't know if you know
00:21:11.880 that there was a very nasty car
00:21:14.060 parked outside of my house
00:21:14.960 for over six weeks
00:21:15.720 that was affiliated with,
00:21:17.480 it was definitely conservatives.
00:21:19.360 They would switch their cars
00:21:20.700 every three, four days
00:21:21.540 to comply with bylaws,
00:21:22.800 hateful slogans on the car.
00:21:24.200 The police did their job.
00:21:25.600 That car's no longer there.
00:21:26.540 But we've got rising rhetoric
00:21:28.040 in this country
00:21:28.620 that is putting at risk
00:21:30.420 good people being in politics.
00:21:31.820 And we're in full recruitment mode.
00:21:33.540 I want to see excellent people
00:21:34.600 of all genders,
00:21:36.540 of all races and backgrounds
00:21:37.700 in politics.
00:21:38.580 And I think we all have
00:21:39.960 a responsibility to make sure
00:21:41.180 that we're letting people know
00:21:42.420 that this is a noble profession,
00:21:43.700 that we're here in the service
00:21:44.560 of Canadians.
00:21:45.140 And I want to make sure
00:21:46.120 that that hopeful, optimistic
00:21:48.360 sentiment of Canadians continues
00:21:49.680 because Canadians are hopeful people.
00:21:51.020 And look, I got to say it
00:21:52.780 because I've been watching this summer
00:21:53.840 and Sean's a good looking guy,
00:21:55.860 but I got to tell you,
00:21:56.780 the obsession that Per Polyev
00:21:57.980 has with this guy is just weird.
00:21:59.820 And like, I don't know
00:22:00.760 what's on with that,
00:22:01.740 but like enough already.
00:22:02.760 And quite frankly,
00:22:03.840 like let people do their jobs.
00:22:05.340 He's the best housing minister
00:22:06.560 we've had in a generation.
00:22:08.300 And quite frankly,
00:22:09.540 I think you're going to see us
00:22:10.620 build more housing than ever before
00:22:12.000 because that's the plan
00:22:12.940 that we've laid out.
00:22:13.800 And Sean's at that helm.
00:22:14.700 And I think we got to talk
00:22:15.880 with people on the doors.
00:22:17.940 Like I've...
00:22:18.500 Uh-huh.
00:22:19.480 We're going to pause it there.
00:22:21.020 Because how can you allow this man
00:22:24.000 to go on talking such nonsense?
00:22:26.960 Is he an example
00:22:27.980 of the excellent candidates
00:22:29.480 he's hoping to recruit
00:22:30.840 in the federal politics?
00:22:31.980 Obviously he thinks so.
00:22:33.700 If this scoundrel
00:22:34.760 is representative
00:22:36.120 of the excellent candidates,
00:22:37.680 God help this country.
00:22:39.560 God help any democracy.
00:22:41.340 Because this man is not fit
00:22:42.840 to serve as a cabinet minister.
00:22:44.580 He's not even fit
00:22:45.420 to serve as a dog catcher.
00:22:47.340 And he shouldn't even be
00:22:48.100 in the House of Commons.
00:22:49.540 Why the idiots
00:22:50.320 in Edmonton Centre
00:22:51.340 keep putting this idiot back in?
00:22:53.020 Well, I haven't done it too often.
00:22:54.320 I predict they're going to have
00:22:55.480 some common sense
00:22:56.220 in this next election.
00:22:57.400 And turf this idiot
00:22:59.020 on his fat behind.
00:23:02.200 He needs to get out
00:23:03.000 of the House of Commons
00:23:03.880 and out of cabinet.
00:23:04.720 He shouldn't even be
00:23:05.480 at this cabinet retreat.
00:23:06.360 He should have been
00:23:06.780 shuffled out weeks ago.
00:23:08.480 Because he's immersed
00:23:09.640 in a scandal so deep.
00:23:11.040 And we're going to remind you
00:23:12.040 about that in a minute.
00:23:13.440 What that scandal is.
00:23:15.260 But what does he talk about here?
00:23:17.280 Hateful.
00:23:18.360 What was it?
00:23:19.220 What was on the sign
00:23:20.100 that was hateful?
00:23:21.020 He wants you to assume
00:23:22.540 it was some kind of homophobic.
00:23:24.720 Because this is the,
00:23:25.560 as far as I know,
00:23:26.820 the only openly homosexual
00:23:28.200 member of the cabinet.
00:23:31.840 And he wants you to think,
00:23:33.100 oh, it was terrible homophobic.
00:23:35.520 Slurs.
00:23:36.180 He wants you to think that.
00:23:37.340 So he doesn't tell you
00:23:38.120 what the hateful thing is.
00:23:38.920 What do you bet
00:23:39.840 it was about his
00:23:40.960 being unfit
00:23:42.200 to be a minister
00:23:42.940 because of his
00:23:44.500 apparent conflict
00:23:45.860 of interest.
00:23:48.180 But with also
00:23:49.640 belonging to a
00:23:50.600 consulting firm
00:23:51.500 at the same time
00:23:52.360 he's a cabinet minister
00:23:53.520 handing out
00:23:54.280 government contracts.
00:23:55.700 Do you think maybe
00:23:56.280 that's what he considers
00:23:57.280 hateful?
00:23:57.940 But he's not going
00:23:58.880 to say that.
00:23:59.720 He wants you to believe
00:24:00.720 something.
00:24:01.300 He wants you to believe
00:24:01.900 this is all about
00:24:03.060 this hateful speech.
00:24:04.420 Hateful.
00:24:05.360 Hateful.
00:24:06.060 It just,
00:24:06.900 and this is the way
00:24:07.780 this guy continues
00:24:08.840 in politics.
00:24:09.560 And he's got the nerve
00:24:12.160 to suggest
00:24:12.840 that it's our problem.
00:24:16.620 Denial.
00:24:17.920 Delusion.
00:24:18.820 Can this man
00:24:19.520 not understand
00:24:20.540 that he's the problem?
00:24:24.160 It's not other people.
00:24:25.880 God,
00:24:26.240 we need to kick
00:24:27.220 this guy out so badly.
00:24:28.440 It's outrageous.
00:24:29.580 They get away with this
00:24:30.700 and they're not
00:24:31.280 even contrite.
00:24:32.920 They're not even
00:24:33.740 the least bit
00:24:34.720 repentant.
00:24:35.720 They don't even
00:24:36.640 seek forgiveness.
00:24:38.120 They don't want
00:24:38.660 forgiveness
00:24:38.980 because they don't
00:24:39.480 think they've
00:24:39.880 done anything wrong.
00:24:40.960 They think they
00:24:41.380 can get away
00:24:42.000 with this
00:24:42.380 for the rest
00:24:42.920 of their
00:24:43.260 political lives
00:24:44.260 and we should
00:24:45.240 like it.
00:24:46.940 They want
00:24:47.540 the sanction
00:24:48.140 of the victim
00:24:48.820 as Ayn Rand
00:24:49.460 always said.
00:24:50.580 If you know
00:24:50.940 Ayn Rand.
00:24:52.100 These woke
00:24:52.700 politicians,
00:24:53.780 these idiot
00:24:54.560 ideologues
00:24:55.820 like this man
00:24:57.260 Boissoneau,
00:24:58.260 they want
00:24:58.840 the sanction
00:24:59.380 of the victim.
00:25:00.180 And here's
00:25:00.720 at the end
00:25:01.580 of the news
00:25:02.000 conference,
00:25:02.840 he's asked,
00:25:04.400 how do you know
00:25:04.840 it was conservatives?
00:25:05.580 Because the person
00:25:09.260 that had it
00:25:09.700 had a conservative
00:25:10.600 sign on the
00:25:11.980 actual decals
00:25:12.900 that were inside
00:25:13.500 his car.
00:25:14.120 He literally
00:25:14.820 took an axe
00:25:15.400 attack sign,
00:25:16.460 conservative party
00:25:17.020 put it on the
00:25:17.540 inside of his
00:25:18.080 window,
00:25:18.480 and there was
00:25:18.900 other hateful
00:25:19.420 rhetoric on the
00:25:20.020 car as well.
00:25:20.480 What was the
00:25:24.320 hateful rhetoric,
00:25:25.180 Randy?
00:25:25.880 Once again,
00:25:26.880 doesn't describe
00:25:27.860 what the
00:25:28.240 hateful rhetoric
00:25:28.880 is.
00:25:29.600 And he says
00:25:30.240 the conservative
00:25:30.860 party put the
00:25:31.640 sign on the
00:25:32.980 window.
00:25:33.540 How does he
00:25:34.020 know that?
00:25:35.120 How does he
00:25:35.800 have a clue
00:25:36.260 in hell who
00:25:37.080 put the sign?
00:25:37.620 He doesn't.
00:25:39.600 He's just,
00:25:39.980 oh, I just
00:25:40.420 know it because
00:25:40.920 they had an
00:25:41.240 axe to tax
00:25:42.320 pamphlet there.
00:25:43.440 And that means
00:25:44.380 definitely an
00:25:45.380 emissary of
00:25:46.140 pure poly,
00:25:46.760 an official
00:25:47.260 emissary of
00:25:47.840 the conservative
00:25:48.240 party put all
00:25:48.960 that in his
00:25:49.380 car.
00:25:50.100 Yeah.
00:25:50.480 And this is
00:25:51.860 just hateful
00:25:53.380 rhetoric.
00:25:53.940 Once again,
00:25:54.460 what's the
00:25:54.840 hateful rhetoric,
00:25:55.620 Randy?
00:25:56.400 Hey,
00:25:56.700 Q-Ball,
00:25:57.380 what's the
00:25:57.900 hateful rhetoric?
00:25:59.200 Is it about
00:25:59.780 your inability
00:26:00.780 to be an
00:26:02.120 honest employment
00:26:04.140 minister?
00:26:04.780 Is that hateful
00:26:05.460 to you?
00:26:06.340 Let's remind
00:26:07.000 ourselves why
00:26:08.220 Randy Boissoneau
00:26:10.140 is despised
00:26:11.020 by Canadians.
00:26:11.800 Steven Anderson,
00:26:13.920 an Edmonton man
00:26:15.700 who used to be
00:26:16.580 business partners
00:26:17.400 with Randy Boissoneau,
00:26:19.120 Canada's
00:26:19.580 employment minister.
00:26:20.900 Who's Randy?
00:26:22.260 Randy, as I said
00:26:23.240 in my opening
00:26:23.780 statement, was an
00:26:24.740 autocorrect.
00:26:25.560 But how many times
00:26:26.280 do you say it?
00:26:27.180 Nine references
00:26:27.900 to Randy?
00:26:28.760 Every one of those
00:26:29.560 nine is an
00:26:30.440 autocorrect?
00:26:31.700 Yes.
00:26:32.120 How many people
00:26:40.880 work for Global
00:26:41.960 Health Imports?
00:26:42.700 What's the
00:26:42.980 total staff
00:26:43.500 complement?
00:26:44.100 121.
00:26:49.680 The Gowie
00:26:50.440 Group had a
00:26:51.000 contract in place
00:26:51.840 with Global
00:26:52.340 Health Imports
00:26:53.000 and Global
00:26:53.660 Health Care
00:26:54.040 Solutions.
00:27:02.120 The business
00:27:02.540 hasn't been
00:27:03.180 operating
00:27:03.760 since 2022.
00:27:07.960 Unbelievable.
00:27:12.800 As I have said,
00:27:14.040 I will fulsomely
00:27:14.800 give you
00:27:15.400 all the information
00:27:16.620 in regard
00:27:17.280 to Randy
00:27:18.280 to this committee
00:27:19.160 within camera.
00:27:26.120 I admit
00:27:27.420 that I did
00:27:28.620 panic
00:27:29.100 when she said
00:27:29.980 is there another
00:27:30.560 Randy?
00:27:31.120 So you lied?
00:27:32.120 To the reporter,
00:27:33.340 I did guess.
00:27:34.180 You are a
00:27:34.860 self-admitted
00:27:36.020 liar.
00:27:37.240 You lack
00:27:37.720 any credibility
00:27:38.980 whatsoever.
00:27:55.360 And that,
00:27:56.460 my dear viewers,
00:27:57.400 is why Canadians
00:27:58.500 despise Randy
00:27:59.980 Wessonow.
00:28:00.880 employment
00:28:01.880 employment
00:28:01.900 minister
00:28:02.440 and member
00:28:03.080 of parliament
00:28:03.720 for Edmonton
00:28:04.680 Center.
00:28:05.700 It's nothing
00:28:06.600 to do
00:28:07.180 with his
00:28:08.140 private life.
00:28:09.860 It's got
00:28:10.460 everything to do
00:28:10.940 with his
00:28:11.180 public life.
00:28:12.380 That's why,
00:28:13.100 because he can't
00:28:13.760 manage his
00:28:14.300 public life
00:28:14.980 ethically
00:28:15.840 or honestly
00:28:16.900 or properly.
00:28:18.420 That's why
00:28:19.240 people don't
00:28:21.420 like him.
00:28:22.220 And maybe
00:28:22.620 that's what
00:28:23.200 this hateful
00:28:23.940 rhetoric on
00:28:24.580 the car
00:28:24.960 was all
00:28:25.360 about.
00:28:25.680 And if
00:28:26.820 so,
00:28:27.020 it wasn't
00:28:27.380 really hateful.
00:28:28.400 It was
00:28:29.040 honest
00:28:29.560 criticism,
00:28:30.500 which Randy
00:28:31.180 Wessonow
00:28:31.760 can't stand
00:28:32.700 and neither
00:28:33.760 can anybody
00:28:34.620 in that
00:28:35.060 liberal cabinet.
00:28:36.080 They don't
00:28:37.020 want honest
00:28:37.880 criticism.
00:28:38.420 They just
00:28:39.160 think you
00:28:39.660 should keep
00:28:40.100 taking it
00:28:40.680 and liking
00:28:41.200 it for the
00:28:42.180 rest of
00:28:43.160 their political
00:28:43.860 lives.
00:28:45.080 And they
00:28:45.320 serve not
00:28:46.720 at your
00:28:46.960 discretion,
00:28:47.700 but at
00:28:48.600 their pleasure.
00:28:49.940 That's the
00:28:50.760 liberal motto.
00:28:51.740 We serve
00:28:52.260 at our
00:28:52.640 pleasure,
00:28:53.600 not at
00:28:55.140 the discretion
00:28:55.660 of taxpayers.
00:28:56.640 That should
00:28:57.000 be the
00:28:57.800 Trudeau
00:28:58.080 government's
00:28:59.060 slogan.
00:28:59.820 That should
00:29:00.080 be the
00:29:00.880 epitaph on
00:29:01.560 the Trudeau
00:29:02.000 government's
00:29:02.540 gravestone,
00:29:03.480 because that's
00:29:04.660 what this
00:29:04.940 government's all
00:29:05.440 about.
00:29:05.700 Anyway,
00:29:06.820 I've gone
00:29:07.080 a little
00:29:07.280 over time
00:29:07.740 today.
00:29:08.120 I try to
00:29:08.460 keep these
00:29:08.740 under 30
00:29:09.220 minutes.
00:29:09.980 Thank you
00:29:12.740 so much
00:29:13.080 for watching
00:29:13.540 today.
00:29:13.940 It's been
00:29:14.160 a pleasure
00:29:14.660 talking to
00:29:16.220 you about
00:29:16.700 the issues
00:29:17.400 that matter.
00:29:18.000 I try to
00:29:18.380 bring you
00:29:18.660 all the
00:29:19.880 news that
00:29:20.880 you need
00:29:21.160 to know
00:29:21.500 every day.
00:29:22.080 And remember,
00:29:22.520 keep resolving
00:29:23.160 to resist,
00:29:24.260 because we
00:29:25.120 can do it.
00:29:26.140 We can
00:29:26.680 beat
00:29:27.040 totalitarianism.
00:29:28.360 We can
00:29:28.780 save free
00:29:29.380 speech in
00:29:29.800 this country.
00:29:30.660 We can
00:29:30.920 save our
00:29:31.300 democracy if
00:29:32.100 we work
00:29:32.500 together and
00:29:33.160 we fight
00:29:33.720 honestly,
00:29:35.240 proudly,
00:29:35.700 and
00:29:36.360 effectively.
00:29:38.120 Thank you
00:29:38.840 so much
00:29:39.300 for watching.
00:29:40.600 I'm David
00:29:40.960 Creighton,
00:29:41.360 and I'll
00:29:41.480 be back
00:29:41.840 tomorrow.
