Stand on Guard with David Krayden - Mark Carney's Corruption Will SHOCK You： How LOW Will He Go？｜ Stand on Guard

00:00:01.000 Now, unlike Mr. Poliev, I've actually worked in the private sector.

00:00:06.440 I know how the world works.

00:00:12.300 Good morning. Welcome back to Stand on Guard.

00:00:14.880 I'm your host, David Creighton.

00:00:15.960 I'm coming at you live from our nation's capital in Ottawa on this Sunday morning.

00:00:22.180 Is it the 6th of April?

00:00:23.620 My God, we're going through April fast.

00:00:25.580 We're three weeks away from a federal election.

00:00:29.080 That was called two weeks ago today.

00:00:30.820 When I come back, my analysis of that and some other observations over the weekend.

00:00:37.160 We'll be right back with more.

00:00:42.080 The Prime Minister lied and his minions continue to lie.

00:00:51.360 We need it, but it's a change.

00:00:54.460 But we also need to resolve to resist.

00:00:59.640 Please like the station now.

00:01:11.320 We're continuing the battle of suppression.

00:01:13.920 Maybe I'll just stop talking about it.

00:01:15.420 Whatever will be, will be with this.

00:01:19.020 Thank you for your support.

00:01:20.880 We're heading towards 50,000 subscribers.

00:01:24.100 I can do it in the next couple of weeks, and it will make a difference.

00:01:29.280 It will be a tipping point.

00:01:30.580 I know that with this station, and we will beat the suppression we've been under.

00:01:37.560 Thank you so much for subscribing.

00:01:39.820 Thank you so much for sharing this broadcast with your friends and family.

00:01:43.120 I'm going to continue to reach out in the next week to other broadcasters, as I've done.

00:01:47.480 And I'll tell you why.

00:01:49.860 Because we need to cross-pollinate.

00:01:53.820 It's an expression we used to use in communications, in which I've worked for many years.

00:02:00.440 And I think we need to do that in YouTube, in Rumble, in social media.

00:02:06.880 Especially because it's so suppressed by a lot of people with woke ideology.

00:02:12.640 And if you talk about the things we're talking about on this station, some people think that's far right.

00:02:20.480 Some people think that's unacceptable.

00:02:23.300 So we need to talk to each other, and we need to expand and broaden our audience.

00:02:29.180 Here we are.

00:02:30.060 It's Sunday.

00:02:31.560 By the way, I'm doing this early because I'm trying to get to church for 1030.

00:02:36.580 That's why I'm doing it.

00:02:38.080 Just so you know.

00:02:39.440 Because I know I like to stick to a consistent time.

00:02:43.860 But it's very difficult to get to church for 1030 if I'm doing the broadcast at 10.

00:02:49.120 So I appreciate your flexibility this morning.

00:02:52.480 I hope you're having a great weekend.

00:02:54.940 The weather has been a little uneven here in the Ottawa area.

00:02:58.720 We survived the ice storm.

00:03:01.680 No power outages here, but a lot of folks across Ontario had them.

00:03:06.580 But we're doing okay.

00:03:07.760 Okay, and so we're three weeks away from this election.

00:03:12.900 And what is my analysis?

00:03:17.660 Fair Paul Leib can win this election.

00:03:20.620 Or let's put it this way.

00:03:23.020 Mark Carney can lose this election.

00:03:25.680 What we need to do, though, is continue to hammer home why Mark Carney is an unacceptable prime minister.

00:03:37.240 Why he's beholden to China.

00:03:39.880 Or how he's beholden to China and the globalists.

00:03:43.700 And what the agenda here is.

00:03:45.300 And I invite you to have a look at my Substack.

00:03:50.440 I've got so many irons in the fire right now.

00:03:52.780 I'm writing for Substack.

00:03:54.020 And I encourage you to go to my Substack. 0.58

00:03:56.600 I'm writing two to three articles a week now on Substack.

00:04:00.200 I know I used to just sort of recycle material.

00:04:03.440 I'm writing a lot more original content on my Substack.

00:04:07.580 I encourage you to look at that.

00:04:08.620 I don't advertise myself very much.

00:04:11.460 And because I'm reluctant to do that.

00:04:13.920 I always have been.

00:04:14.700 It's just the way I am.

00:04:16.940 But I'm proud of the work we're doing on Substack.

00:04:19.740 It's growing.

00:04:20.900 Doing a lot of original journalism.

00:04:22.800 And I'm doing a lot of material on Mark Carney.

00:04:25.760 Read the latest.

00:04:26.820 It's all about how Mark Carney got caught.

00:04:31.040 in this Chinese web of deception over Paul Chiang,

00:04:37.920 the Member of Parliament from the Markham area,

00:04:43.140 who actually, and you all know this,

00:04:46.680 but it's still mind-boggling,

00:04:48.140 who actually encouraged people in an audience

00:04:51.940 he was speaking to in January

00:04:53.420 to go out and abduct his conservative opponent,

00:04:57.840 then-conservative opponent, Joe Tay,

00:05:00.920 bring him to the Chinese consulate

00:05:02.480 and claim the $1 million Hong Kong dollar reward.

00:05:06.980 Yeah, it's $183,000 Canadian dollars.

00:05:11.500 But it was shocking.

00:05:14.280 So you can read more about this here.

00:05:16.500 Now, tomorrow we're doing a fairly extensive expose

00:05:20.700 into Mark Carney's money solution.

00:05:25.100 What he wants to do to the Canadian dollar.

00:05:28.200 Excuse me.

00:05:33.240 What does he want to do to the Canadian dollar?

00:05:36.340 Well, I think he wants to create a digital currency.

00:05:40.260 And he wants to ensure that you can't spend your money

00:05:45.640 without the government knowing where you're spending it.

00:05:49.140 That's where we're going with it.

00:05:50.460 Now, there's nothing inevitable about a Mark Carney victory in this election.

00:05:58.200 A lot of people are saying, you know, Mark Carney can't lose.

00:06:00.780 If Mark Carney does not participate in the French language debate,

00:06:07.400 and he's already said he won't,

00:06:08.840 and I don't think he will because his French is inferior

00:06:11.180 to everyone else's on that stage.

00:06:13.940 I think he could actually try to back out of the English language debate,

00:06:19.800 which would be catastrophic for the Mark Carney campaign.

00:06:23.820 because a lot of people are undecided until they see the debate.

00:06:29.560 As bad as the debates are in Canada,

00:06:32.420 because they represent an argument at the kitchen table

00:06:35.320 where you've got all of these people on the stage

00:06:38.420 bickering with each other at the end.

00:06:41.400 But a lot of Canadians wait for that debate.

00:06:44.740 And in the past, of course, we've had two or three of them.

00:06:48.740 But they wait for that debate to make their decision

00:06:50.760 about who, whom they're going to be voting.

00:06:54.560 And I think this could be Pierre Pauly's shining hour.

00:07:00.380 Because he's a far superior debater than Mark Carney.

00:07:04.980 Mark Carney is pretty smooth.

00:07:09.940 And he's very good at looking boring.

00:07:12.160 But he's not a good debater.

00:07:14.240 So I think this could be a tipping point.

00:07:16.700 I think we've also had a tipping point in this campaign in other ways.

00:07:21.260 I kept talking last week about the need for Pierre Pauly

00:07:26.220 to stop talking about Donald Trump

00:07:28.440 and to start talking about change.

00:07:33.920 Let's go back to 2008, the 2008 Obama campaign in the United States.

00:07:46.820 Now, I'm no fan of Barack Obama.

00:07:49.780 I think he failed miserably in domestic policy

00:07:53.560 and failed miserably on foreign policy.

00:07:56.660 And he really had nothing going for him except the idea that he was historic.

00:08:04.380 What was his campaign slogan in 2008?

00:08:10.500 Think back.

00:08:12.100 And I thought it was ludicrous at the time.

00:08:14.060 I have to tell you this. 1.00

00:08:14.920 I thought it was stupid. 1.00

00:08:16.980 I said, people can't be that stupid. 1.00

00:08:19.740 It was one word. 1.00

00:08:21.060 Change.

00:08:22.180 That was it.

00:08:23.820 That was his campaign slogan.

00:08:25.400 And it was on decorating all kinds of signs, hats, even dresses.

00:08:30.480 Change.

00:08:34.720 But yes, it worked.

00:08:37.080 Because they'd had eight years of George W. Bush.

00:08:41.940 And George W. Bush did not go out with any fanfare, if you recall.

00:08:48.580 But Barack Obama's slogan of change worked. 1.00

00:08:52.780 Now, am I saying Canadians are that stupid? 1.00

00:08:56.420 Well, some of them are, because they're actually thinking Mark Carney represents change. 1.00

00:09:01.860 Fear Polly has got to hammer it home every day that Mark Carney's not change.

00:09:07.980 Mark Carney's status quo.

00:09:09.500 Mark Carney is continuation of the Liberal Party policies of Justin Trudeau.

00:09:15.220 Mark Carney is globalism.

00:09:17.240 Mark Carney is in China's pocket. 0.72

00:09:19.020 Mark Carney represents the worst of Canadian politics.

00:09:24.460 Let's just listen.

00:09:25.220 Before I get to Polly, let's listen to what Mark Carney likes to talk about.

00:09:30.940 Around the new industries, particularly around China's leadership in climate change

00:09:36.080 and the further acceleration that's necessary for that.

00:09:38.620 That's a crucial discussion, as is the discussion around AI and really the application of AI.

00:09:45.560 We see China's leadership there in deployment of AI technologies, which is, in many respects, unique.

00:09:52.180 And we can all learn from that and work together.

00:09:56.760 Okay, what's the takeaway here?

00:09:59.480 China is a leader in climate change?

00:10:02.620 What universe does this man live in?

00:10:05.800 China, nobody has more coal-fired plants than China.

00:10:09.720 China doesn't give a damn about climate change legislation.

00:10:13.200 China gives a damn about China. 0.99

00:10:14.840 China, it's China first. 0.98

00:10:17.120 And that should be Mark Carney's slogan.

00:10:20.680 His podium should say China first, because that's who Mark Carney's been working for.

00:10:27.640 Globalism and China. 0.92

00:10:29.760 He really is a huge fan of China.

00:10:32.300 And to suggest that China is leading in climate change, he's either deluded or he's lying.

00:10:40.280 Perhaps both.

00:10:41.240 But of course, it's not true.

00:10:44.520 But Mark Carney doesn't care if he's telling the truth.

00:10:50.620 Because what I discovered in this campaign is that Justin Trudeau was a fair actor at times.

00:10:59.100 But he was always a little too melodramatic, wasn't he?

00:11:02.380 Always too just over the top.

00:11:05.140 Whereas Mark Carney, I think, is a better actor.

00:11:08.360 He's convincing.

00:11:09.820 He's convinced a lot of Canadians that he represents change.

00:11:13.380 That he's a moderate guy who's going to change his policy direction.

00:11:18.360 It's not going to be so extreme.

00:11:20.220 So you move Stephen Gilbo out of environment and climate change and you make him your Quebec lieutenant and you put him in charge of parks.

00:11:28.460 He'll be safe there.

00:11:29.800 You start talking about, well, I'm a little flexible on pipelines, at least when you're in Alberta.

00:11:37.880 But when you go back to Ontario, you're not very flexible.

00:11:41.040 Mark Carney is talking out of both sides of his mouth.

00:11:43.400 He's lying to Canadians. 0.87

00:11:45.080 He's pretending to be something he isn't.

00:11:47.080 He's a net zero champion.

00:11:49.980 He is a huge environmental extremist.

00:11:53.980 And that's what Mark Carney is all about.

00:11:55.960 Let's listen to a little more.

00:11:57.320 Mark Carney.

00:11:57.800 In response to the crisis, we built up a network of swap agreements amongst the major advanced economy central banks in order to provide that.

00:12:05.700 And recently, we've recognized that that network of swap agreements shouldn't necessarily be limited to the G7 economies.

00:12:13.020 In June, under my predecessor, the Bank of England signed such an agreement with the People's Bank of China.

00:12:20.280 And this reflects the growing international role of the Renminbi.

00:12:26.340 It dovetails with the possibility of establishing a Renminbi clearing bank here in London.

00:12:32.920 And it's also consistent with our broader policy of openness to hosting foreign wholesale banking activities,

00:12:40.840 which could include, could be extended to branches of Chinese banks.

00:12:46.880 Now, helping internationalization of the Chinese currency is a global good, consistent with London's historic role.

00:12:56.220 Yeah, and as I have said repeatedly, what is the Renminbi?

00:13:12.600 Well, that's the Chinese yuan.

00:13:14.720 I think he talks about it that way because nobody knows what the Renminbi is, but it's the Chinese yuan.

00:13:20.840 It's the digital version of the Chinese yuan, which is the Chinese dollar, the currency.

00:13:25.640 He wants the Chinese currency to replace the U.S. dollar.

00:13:28.640 Does Donald Trump know this?

00:13:30.120 Donald Trump has endorsed Mark Carney twice now.

00:13:32.560 Donald Trump obviously has a secret deal with Mark Carney because he did not impose the latest round of tariffs on Canada.

00:13:40.460 Mark Carney's still talking like a tough guy with Donald Trump.

00:13:43.740 So what has he got on Donald Trump?

00:13:45.320 Why is there this cozy arrangement between the two of them?

00:13:47.580 I think Pierre Pauly talks about why Donald Trump likes Mark Carney so much in this next series of clips.

00:13:56.420 But I can tell you why Donald Trump likes Mark Carney, because they both think they can control each other.

00:14:01.660 They both have the goods on each other to some degree.

00:14:05.660 There's a relationship there that goes back many, many years.

00:14:08.800 And Donald Trump thinks Mark Carney is in his pocket.

00:14:13.120 And I think Mark Carney falsely believes that he's got Donald Trump in his pocket.

00:14:19.180 And that, of course, is not the case.

00:14:22.620 That's not the case.

00:14:23.840 And Mark Carney is going to be very surprised when Donald Trump bites back.

00:14:28.680 But do you think for a minute, and I said this the other day, for those of you who see me on Redacted every week, and I'll be on again next week talking about the campaign.

00:14:40.480 Do you think for a minute Mark Carney is going to stem the flow of fentanyl into Canada?

00:14:46.460 It's all coming through the BC ports.

00:14:48.520 My friend and colleague Sam Cooper at the Bureau has done some incredible investigative reporting on this.

00:14:55.160 I've had him on the show twice to talk about this.

00:14:59.220 The fentanyl is coming in at the Vancouver ports.

00:15:01.580 People are just ignoring it.

00:15:05.080 It's being processed, and it's going south of the border.

00:15:08.940 Do you think Mark Carney is going to tell China, stop sending fentanyl to Canada, when he is so beholden to China, where he goes to Beijing and gets a $276 million loan from China?

00:15:19.840 He lobbies the mayor of Beijing?

00:15:22.040 Do you think Mark Carney is going to tell China, sorry, keep your fentanyl at home?

00:15:27.900 I don't think so.

00:15:29.800 And yet Donald Trump said that was one of the chief reasons he was imposing tariffs on Canada.

00:15:34.280 It was border security and fentanyl.

00:15:36.680 Mark Carney will not improve the fentanyl situation for Donald Trump.

00:15:42.440 And Donald Trump needs to realize that.

00:15:45.740 Let's listen to Pierre Pauly at a Penticton rally.

00:15:49.420 And I love Penticton.

00:15:50.420 And it's in the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, my home province.

00:15:54.500 Someday I might go back to.

00:15:56.960 If the political scene ever becomes a little more sane, then I can afford it.

00:16:02.640 But I've been to Penticton many times.

00:16:04.660 Pierre Pauly was there yesterday, had a great rally.

00:16:07.620 And I'm not here just to be a cheerleader for Pierre Pauly.

00:16:10.420 But I don't know who else is going to win this election instead of Mark Carney.

00:16:17.060 Let's listen to this.

00:16:18.460 That a conservative government will cut red tape by 25% over the next two years.

00:16:27.100 We'll impose a two-for-one rule, which means every new regulation or rule will have to be matched with eliminating two existing ones.

00:16:38.620 And we will do the same with dollar value.

00:16:41.840 Every $1 increase in the administrative burden of the federal government will have to be matched with $2 of reductions elsewhere.

00:16:50.100 And finally, to make sure there are no more tricks like the Liberals have played to get around this rule,

00:16:57.080 we'll give a legal mandate to the Auditor General to audit every year the administrative burden to ensure that these rules are being honoured.

00:17:06.500 This will force the senior bureaucracy to constantly comb through the rules, get rid of unnecessary and useless regulations,

00:17:15.340 and find the most efficient way to protect public safety and the environment.

00:17:22.040 There are expensive and bureaucratic ways that involve lots of paper, and there are ways that you can do more efficiently.

00:17:31.940 I'll give you an example.

00:17:32.800 When they had the Great Global Recession, the Harper government made the decision that we would fund municipal projects using a one-page application form.

00:17:43.140 One page.

00:17:44.300 And there would be one environmental review per project, not seven or eight.

00:17:50.100 Now everyone screamed and said, well, this is going to harm safety and the environment.

00:17:53.940 Well, we completed 23,500 projects in two years without one public safety problem or one environmental problem identified by the Environment Commissioner.

00:18:04.960 Mark Carney and his team of Trudeau Liberals have forgotten, want you to forget.

00:18:11.140 They want you to forget the 10 years of growing bureaucracy and shrinking wages, the anti-development and anti-growth policies.

00:18:19.100 They want you to think that somehow they will be different than they were in the last three terms.

00:18:24.920 Now, I can't help but notice that Mr. Carney is contradicting himself again today as he plagiarizes my latest policy.

00:18:34.140 We know Mark Carney plagiarized his PhD thesis at Oxford, or at least we have sufficient evidence to indicate that.

00:18:46.760 Mark Carney likes to plagiarize, apparently, but he also likes to copy everything Paliyev does.

00:18:53.940 It's quite amazing.

00:18:54.640 A couple of days later, there's Mark Carney echoing what Pierre Paliyev has said.

00:19:00.100 He's stealing every policy directive because, believe it or not, the Liberal Party did not sit down and actually type out, write out a policy platform for this election.

00:19:12.020 No, I know this.

00:19:15.140 They had no policy platform.

00:19:17.500 The strategy was run against Donald Trump, be prime ministerial, and copy the conservative policies that you think are most popular, and pretend they're your own.

00:19:31.680 That is what's happening here.

00:19:33.960 On April the 1st, just four or five days ago, his government got rid of the apprenticeship grant.

00:19:41.340 Today, after seeing that I support the grant and I'll bring it back, he's trying to plagiarize me yet again.

00:19:49.940 You can't believe anything he says when he does one thing on April Fool's Day, and then, not even a week later, he says the opposite.

00:20:00.140 He is just like Justin Trudeau, and there will be no change if you give Liberals a fourth term.

00:20:06.220 I have announced a real plan for our apprentices.

00:20:08.380 We will train up 350,000 of them.

00:20:11.420 We'll bring back the apprenticeship grant Conservatives originally introduced and that Liberals have eliminated, and we will stand up for workers across this country.

00:20:20.520 The most powerful thing that we can do to break free from dependence on the Americans is to unleash the power of our resources, entrepreneurs, and workers.

00:20:30.380 That starts by repealing the anti-development, anti-pipeline law, C-69, a law that Mark Carney announced the other day he will keep in place.

00:20:39.180 It's time for a new Conservative government that will put this country first and restore the Canadian promise that anyone from anywhere can achieve anything.

00:20:48.140 That hard work gets you a great life in a safe and affordable home on a beautiful Canadian street under our wonderful Canadian flag.

00:21:00.380 Canada first, Canada first, for a change.

00:21:05.280 Let's bring it home.

00:21:08.380 It gets a little slogan airing towards the end, but Pierre Polyev needs to point out that Mark Carney's not changed.

00:21:14.600 He's changed, and he got it right there.

00:21:16.980 He needs to get that right every day because he has been hamstrung and tripped up by his communications department, by the people running this campaign.

00:21:27.860 They've been giving him horrible advice.

00:21:30.880 I'll say it again.

00:21:32.060 Horrible advice.

00:21:34.000 When Pierre Polyev is set free, when he's let loose to actually talk the way he does,

00:21:39.900 you have to remember, Pierre Polyev started out in politics in a communications capacity.

00:21:46.920 He actually did communications when Ezra Levant, my friend Ezra Levant, the guy who runs Rebel News and runs it very well,

00:21:56.800 was running in Calgary Southwest at the constituency.

00:22:03.940 Pierre Polyev started out working for Ezra Levant as a communications guy.

00:22:08.900 Pierre Polyev understands communications better than the people who are running his campaign because they don't get it.

00:22:18.980 They think, just attack Donald Trump, and that's going to be a winning formula.

00:22:23.880 And get rid of all of these people who are putting anything on the Internet that is in any way contrary to the liberal narrative.

00:22:34.640 But Polyev, in this next clip, defends one of those candidates because they've already gotten rid of too many candidates for bad reasons.

00:22:47.640 I mean, and I'm talking specifically of Stéphane Marquis from Montreal, who will be on this show next week to discuss what happened to him

00:22:56.960 because he dared to go on the Internet and discuss the World Economic Forum.

00:23:02.240 He dared to suggest the invasion of Ukraine had something to do with the expansion of NATO over the past 20 years.

00:23:09.620 He dared to suggest that Bill Gates is making a fortune from the COVID vaccine.

00:23:15.860 These are all facts!

00:23:16.980 But here Polyev is standing up for Aaron Gunn.

00:23:21.940 Aaron Gunn is in the crossfire for apparently questioning elements of residential schools.

00:23:31.380 But Aaron Gunn is bending over backwards now, trying to appease the liberal mob, the woke mob.

00:23:39.080 And at least Polyev is not prepared to cut him loose.

00:23:43.420 I want to ask you about Aaron Gunn, one of your candidates here.

00:23:47.540 There's been a letter sent to the party, and I'll read it in part to you.

00:23:53.080 Accusing Gunn of denying the impacts of residential schools and the generational trauma and genocide experienced by First Nations people.

00:24:00.820 There are other concerns raised about his candidacy.

00:24:02.940 Local mayors have said that they don't support him and don't think he should be a conservative candidate.

00:24:07.380 Do you still stand by Aaron Gunn as your candidate on the North Island?

00:24:10.960 Yes, I do, and the letter is false.

00:24:13.520 He has not denied the impact of residential schools.

00:24:16.140 That's just misinformation.

00:24:18.380 In fact, he has said that he wants to continue to condemn the residential schools and build stronger partnerships 1.00

00:24:24.980 with First Nations people to unlock our resources so that we can produce incredible paychecks and opportunities

00:24:32.520 for First Nations communities right across British Columbia, bring home production of natural gas and other major resource projects.

00:24:44.500 In fact, bring in a First Nations resource charge that allows companies to pay those taxes directly to these communities

00:24:51.480 so that they can have incredible prosperity.

00:24:54.920 We're the only ones offering that bright future, and the choice in the election will be whether,

00:25:00.300 after the last liberal decade of costs and crime up and our economy down under the American thumb,

00:25:12.080 with our First Nations people denied the opportunities they deserve,

00:25:16.520 we want to elect them to a fourth term.

00:25:18.320 or whether it's time to put our country and all of its people first with a new Conservative government

00:25:25.580 that will unleash opportunity for our economy and especially ensure that First Nations communities

00:25:31.780 are the primary beneficiaries of that great Canadian goal.

00:25:37.160 Thank you.

00:25:38.340 Okay, the last part of this answer was pretty bad because he's really forgetting his own talking points here,

00:25:45.680 but he defended Aaron Gunn, which is good, but you have to remember,

00:25:51.560 you can't say anything on the internet about any of this phenomena surrounding residential schools.

00:26:00.280 And what do I mean by that?

00:26:01.400 I mean, these graveyards that supposedly existed, none of them have actually been confirmed.

00:26:07.040 We know that.

00:26:08.060 You can't talk about Canadian churches being set afire.

00:26:12.840 That's off limits.

00:26:14.260 Why is that?

00:26:15.680 Why is that?

00:26:18.200 And we need to fight the censorship.

00:26:20.900 We need to fight back on free speech on this and stop apologizing because somebody questioned anything.

00:26:28.240 We have a right to question.

00:26:30.240 We have a right to say, I don't know if that's true.

00:26:34.200 That's called free speech and freedom of thought.

00:26:37.140 But I still have that in Canada.

00:26:39.400 And I want Peter Palliev to enunciate that very carefully and articulately.

00:26:46.360 Thank you.

00:26:47.080 We'll now go to the next question.

00:26:48.180 Brendan Phillips, Black Press Media.

00:26:51.340 As we stand here in a border community, one that relies heavily on tourism and cross-border commerce,

00:26:57.800 which is strangled by the United States, there are some voters who are concerned that the party and campaign are too reminiscent of the current American government.

00:27:07.820 America first, Canada first, calls to cut public broadcasters with NPR or PBS versus CBC.

00:27:14.020 Okay, hold everything.

00:27:18.400 What in the hell is he talking about? 1.00

00:27:20.700 This is one of the stupidest questions I've heard from a journalist in, what, days? 1.00

00:27:25.780 No, weeks. 0.99

00:27:26.380 Why is it wrong for Donald Trump to be criticizing NPR, National Public Radio, and that somehow makes it wrong for Pierre Palliev to follow through in his promise to privatize and defund the CBC?

00:27:42.820 Both of these organizations don't deserve a taxpayer money, a dollar taxpayer money.

00:27:49.700 So if Pierre Palliev is aligning himself, or if the Conservative Party is aligned with anything Donald Trump has proposed, does that mean he's in Donald Trump's pocket?

00:28:00.900 No, it just means they agree on some policy issues. 1.00

00:28:04.760 So what a stupid question. 0.99

00:28:07.200 Of course, Pierre Palliev is continuing to advocate for the defunding of the CBC. 1.00

00:28:12.800 It's one of his most popular and rational policies.

00:28:15.360 Eliminations of government regulations in sweeping manner.

00:28:19.700 And once again, Donald Trump inaugurated the Department of Government Efficiency, one of the most popular moves he made, slashing unnecessary, wasteful government spending.

00:28:35.340 Pierre Palliev has gone nowhere near that kind of pledge or promise.

00:28:40.680 He's talked about cutting regulations.

00:28:42.960 He's talked about cutting government waste.

00:28:44.880 Is that wrong?

00:28:46.280 Because Donald Trump has said that too?

00:28:48.260 This reporter clearly has a political agenda.

00:28:52.540 Even Alberta Premier Danielle Smith has said that the Conservative Party leadership is in sync in direction with Trump and America.

00:29:04.440 How do you address the concerns of being too closely aligned to a foreign government that is threatening Canada and is destroying its own country right now?

00:29:13.900 Well, he's not aligned with a foreign government.

00:29:18.360 He's aligned with a couple of policy positions from Donald Trump and the Republican Party. 1.00

00:29:24.620 Does this idiot not understand this? 1.00

00:29:28.220 Well, your question is false. 1.00

00:29:30.820 Mr. Trump has endorsed the Liberals.

00:29:33.180 He said it would be easier for him if the Liberals stay...

00:29:35.900 I have a very classy response, by the way, because I was waiting for Palliev to just castigate this journalist, but he's very polite and he's very measured and he's very moderate in his response.

00:29:51.380 And I think it's actually more effective for being so.

00:29:56.180 He said it in power.

00:29:57.380 He said it multiple times.

00:29:59.560 He said that he doesn't agree with me, he doesn't support me, and he doesn't want me to be Prime Minister of Canada.

00:30:04.700 I think a lot of people have to ask themselves, why does Donald Trump want the Liberals in power for a fourth term?

00:30:11.300 The answer is clear.

00:30:13.020 He wants Canada to be weak.

00:30:14.260 There it is, folks.

00:30:41.740 Put Canada first for a change.

00:30:44.860 That's the Conservative slogan.

00:30:47.300 That's what they need to repeat.

00:30:49.020 Day in, day out.

00:30:50.280 Day in, day out.

00:30:51.540 Against Mark Carney.

00:30:53.100 Stop going on about Donald Trump.

00:30:55.840 I think Palliev handled this very well.

00:30:57.820 He got to make Canada first for a change.

00:31:02.480 To bring home the half trillion dollars the Americans have stolen from us under the last years of the Liberals.

00:31:10.600 It's time for a strong Canadian leader.

00:31:14.920 A strong Conservative rather than a weak Liberal is exactly what this country needs, even if Donald Trump doesn't like it.

00:31:21.800 Early and brilliant response.

00:31:27.260 I'll be back in a few moments, make sure I got the right one, with some concluding remarks.

00:31:35.080 Good night.
