The Trudeau Foundation has been rocked by a new scandal, but Justin Trudeau seems to have managed to weather the storm. He defends the people on the Trudeau Foundation and says he has no connection to them. But what does he know about them?
00:00:00.000Hi, welcome to the second episode. Actually, it's the second time we've tried this. Yes, it's stand on guard with David Creighton. We're going to have a really marvelous show here today. And no, we're not going to disappoint you because I know you tuned in to find out about Justin Trudeau and the Trudeau Foundation and about Joe Biden and announcing for presidency. So you're not going to be disappointed.
00:00:30.000Maybe they're beginning to realize that Justin Trudeau is responsible for all this trouble.
00:00:46.080Yes, Justin Trudeau might be responsible for the whole thing.
00:00:50.600But, of course, he's backing away from this latest scandal, you know, and just Trudeau seems to have a knack for backing into scandal.
00:01:02.180And despite all of that, he's still premonitioning. I don't understand that either, but he's still there.
00:01:07.900And somehow he's managed to weather the storm. But he's got another charity scandal coming. Remember the WE scandal? Yeah, yeah.
00:01:18.980And remember how, you know, he was involved with putting money towards this WE charity?
00:01:26.660Well, this might be even better. And now we know that, you know, the Trudeau Foundation, which is named after his father, it's not technically, I'll give him that, I'll give him that.
00:01:40.240It's not the Justin Trudeau Foundation or La Fondation de Trudeau.
00:01:47.080It's named after his father, Pierre Trudeau, who I thought was a pretty dangerous man, but I think Justin's a much more dangerous man than his father ever was.
00:01:57.140But the point is here, Justin Trudeau comes to the defense of the Trudeau Foundation when every one of its board of directors, including its CEO, resigned yesterday.
00:02:11.520And we're talking here, you know, for Thursday. And OK, it was it was this week.
00:02:17.800But everybody resigned. And why? Because they couldn't decide who they gave the money to China to.
00:02:28.320It all had something to do with giving money to China and this it this individual who allegedly picked it up.
00:02:36.680But they all resigned because they didn't know who they gave the money to.
00:02:41.520So what's going on with this? And what's even more funny is, you know, Trudeau, you know, he's get well, just watch the clip.
00:02:49.900Will you continue to appoint people connected to the foundation to do work for your government?
00:02:53.760Those people who are trying to get short term political gain by increasing polarization and partisanship in this country,
00:03:08.760by launching completely unfounded and ungrounded attacks against charities or foundations,
00:03:17.760must not succeed. Canada is a place where we support good works of all different types and we need to continue to do that.
00:03:34.440I am I have no doubt that the Trudeau Foundation, like foundations and charities that conservative politicians have attacked in the past,
00:03:46.360will continue to do the excellent work that it will do.
00:03:51.200But as I've said many times, it's a foundation in my father's name that I have no direct or indirect connection with.
00:03:58.800Okay, what did we learn from this little clip here?
00:04:05.420First of all, Justin Trudeau knows all about the people on the Trudeau Foundation,
00:04:11.600except he ends the conversation by saying he has no connection to it.
00:07:44.220So how come everybody who's white isn't going crazy every day and killing 22 people?
00:07:49.980This is how stupid these government reports can be.
00:07:54.740I would remind you, actually, that in 1935, the government of Mackenzie King struck a royal commission to find out why they were in the midst of a Great Depression.
00:08:07.740It was called the Royal Surwa Commission.
00:08:11.660They came back five years later with all kinds of recommendations about how to alleviate the Great Depression.
00:08:19.400Problem was, the Great Depression was over.
00:08:23.160And we were in the beginning of the Second World War.
00:13:20.860And what do we do, by the way, with this, this guy, David Johnson, former governor general, who's, who has now been appointed as Trudeau's special rapporteur in the Chinese election interference issue.
00:14:51.980And this story, I, and I woke up this morning reading about this, but I, I'm going to bed tonight knowing that this could be the story that brings down the Trudeau government.
00:15:05.820Because where the hell did that money go?
