Stand on Guard with David Krayden - SOG67： Freedom or Serfdom？ The Choice is Ours ｜ Stand on Guard Ep 67

00:00:00.000 dedicate ourselves to what the greeks wrote so many years ago to tame the savageness of man

00:00:08.960 and make gentle the life of this world let us dedicate ourselves to that

00:00:14.920 and say a prayer for our country and for our people thank you very much

00:00:20.060 thank you very much thanks for joining us and stand on guard this is one of the last episodes

00:00:32.880 of 2023 and as we face the end of the year we face two choices two paths ahead and we're going

00:00:41.380 to be talking about that today and listening to some very interesting people also talk about that

00:00:47.080 we'll be back in a minute so we are in a very precarious position in this country

00:00:52.260 we need political change but we also need to resolve to resist

00:00:58.120 yes ring that bell like my cat sasha who's still with us

00:01:13.000 sasha's not doing well we're looking after her and we're praying that she recovers from an illness

00:01:21.880 but she's been with us for another christmas and that cat has been a constant companion

00:01:26.500 and i'm going to get her on the show in the new year i promise that but she's ringing the bell and

00:01:34.860 i want you please ring the bell because when you ring the bell early it really has an effect a very

00:01:42.380 good effect on the youtube algorithm and it really opens the doors for viewership and it's it's a heck

00:01:52.340 of a thing to deal with but just ringing that bell helps so much and subscribe if you haven't done so

00:01:58.780 and i understand clayton morris of redacted always always tells me this is that sometimes you have

00:02:04.600 to resubscribe because youtube will unsubscribe you so if you see you've unsubscribed please resubscribe

00:02:11.720 and you know it's exciting to me that we're less than 200 people away from 15 000 subscribers on youtube

00:02:22.660 now that's that's really exciting to me because i i didn't know we'd be here by the end of the year

00:02:30.740 in fact i think probably about a year ago this was an idea that we were just thinking about

00:02:37.060 in terms of doing independent media on a youtube channel as most of you who watch me know i continue

00:02:45.300 to write for new media such as the post-millennial human events ebook times and i thank you for

00:02:55.240 reading those stories but i really thank you for watching the station and looking at the information

00:03:00.700 that i put out here so please get us over that 15 000 or at least get us to 15 000 by the end of the

00:03:09.740 year it would be appreciated and ring that bell and share this to your friends and family it's a good

00:03:18.100 time of year to do that uh there will be an original article on my sub stack page that you can look at

00:03:26.040 and it will also give you notifications of our podcasts i have my george orwell readings on there

00:03:32.960 i did 1984 this year because i thought it was so apropos the book just seemed so much more relevant

00:03:40.780 than it ever had to me before so i did an audiobook of 1984 i know a lot of you were listening to that

00:03:49.640 i'm i'm in the middle of animal farm i hope none of you are anxiously awaiting for at the end i'm going

00:03:58.100 to get back to it this week or on the on the weekend it's just the christmas season and and some

00:04:04.980 personal tragedies have have gotten in the way in the in the last month but we're back on track with

00:04:12.480 that and i i really want to share one more thing with you and that's that's very exciting to me because

00:04:19.240 you're probably saying what is david creighton doing there sitting in a hoodie sweatshirt because he

00:04:26.780 always wears a suit and tie at least or at least a shirt and tie or sometimes a turtleneck but never

00:04:35.560 a t-shirt never a hoodie it's just part of my what i consider to be professional decorum

00:04:41.260 in the newsroom and this is a newsroom as far as i'm concerned so what am i wearing well i want to

00:04:47.960 show this to you this is our resolve to resist sweatshirt hoodie and it will be available as

00:04:56.760 merchandise and it's i it's very exciting because we're going to be putting this on the web on the

00:05:02.800 website in terms of how you can how you can buy them and that's all we've got so far and we've got

00:05:10.740 this t-shirt here so i want you to see this problem when you're doing this think while it's still

00:05:18.560 legal there here we go yeah think while it's still legal this is the t-shirt available in

00:05:25.900 various sizes now that's all we have right now you know there's some people out there they they've got

00:05:32.740 mugs and they've got various paraphernalia we don't have any mugs yet not saying it won't happen

00:05:39.420 don't have any bathing suits or bikinis anything like that but we do

00:05:43.600 and t-shirts and i think i hope and pray those will be popular in the new year and

00:05:52.280 i know we we really are excited about this well you can see i'm excited about it because

00:05:59.020 it's something i never really thought i'd be doing but thanks thank you so much for for

00:06:04.780 supporting the station you know and everything you're seeing here is always free with no charge

00:06:12.100 there's no paywall i hate paywalls with media because you know you read a few lines of a story

00:06:18.000 you know i gotta subscribe so you won't have that here but i welcome your support if you can't

00:06:23.560 i'm grateful for any support you can you can offer in terms of uh you know whether it's buy me a coffee

00:06:28.980 or becoming a member of uh of substack subscribing to that and just look at the description of this

00:06:39.720 broadcast and you can find out multiple ways you can support this broadcast and the work that i'm

00:06:45.700 doing if you want to do that i'm so grateful if you don't want to do that i'm going to continue to

00:06:50.820 talk at you because i've had a hell of a good year doing this it's been difficult in other ways

00:07:00.680 but it's been a a heck of a good year doing this broadcast and i've really enjoyed it so what am i

00:07:06.780 talking about today if i can get back to the matters at hand instead of we got the administration

00:07:13.960 out of the way i'm always being to get get the administration done quickly there are two paths

00:07:20.840 ahead of us i recently wrote a column for the epoch times and i talked about what the two solitudes are

00:07:28.460 today and you know historically in canada the two solitudes were english and french francophones and

00:07:35.040 anglophones quebec and the rest of canada or francophones living in the rest of canada

00:07:42.900 and anglophones and the rest of canada however you want to define it was a linguistic cleavage

00:07:49.100 if you will that often translated into a political cleavage of separation potential separation in

00:07:56.900 quebec animosity towards the french language and other parts of canada and there was constant

00:08:04.840 friction and and there was the two cultures the two languages were at loggerheads i would argue that's

00:08:11.300 largely a thing of the past there's not a single mainstream party out there that is really

00:08:19.160 baiting that issue and let's face it the bloc quebec is a distant voice that really has no relevance

00:08:26.560 to canadian politics they have some good members who contribute but their dream of an independent

00:08:34.560 quebec is is really a fantasy and the idea that somehow all the anglophones out there all the

00:08:42.440 english-speaking people are hostile to quebec and francophones is nonsense we can just look at

00:08:48.640 pierre paulio and we have a perfectly fluently bilingual leader of the opposition who's quite

00:08:55.220 comfortable speaking in french and talking to quebecers and what you know one of my favorite politicians

00:09:00.840 is maxime bernier who is a fantastic leader and who articulates the small c libertarian small c

00:09:13.440 conservative libertarian message so well and there's a guy from quebec who shows you that good people and

00:09:23.100 good leaders can come from any province any region in canada and there's no longer the sense that if you

00:09:28.660 come from quebec that you're going to be left-wing in your politics or or too progressive because

00:09:35.000 maxime's put a lie to that he's always welcome on my show and he's a good friend and i you know i thank

00:09:41.420 god for people like maxime bernier principled politicians so that's a good word for maxime but

00:09:48.000 what are we talking about then in two solitudes today in canada means

00:09:51.660 two ideologies there is common sense small c conservatism small l libertarianism and if you

00:10:03.240 will small l classical liberalism versus woke progressive ideology which is not only

00:10:13.220 non-commonsensical it's insanity and that's really the division today that's the political cleavage

00:10:20.680 in canada today it's between these two competing ideas one of which stands for personal individual

00:10:28.660 freedom

00:10:29.300 and the other which stands for serfdom slavery and collectivism and servitude to the state 0.66

00:10:40.520 now after i wrote this column and i wrote a subsequent column about

00:10:45.800 where we are historically we're on the precipice of catastrophe in canada in the united states for

00:10:54.460 various reasons in the western democracies everywhere because we are constantly being

00:11:00.280 distracted by crises whether it's pandemics that really aren't pandemics that are being treated with

00:11:08.760 vaccines that can be potentially hazardous or whether it's foreign wars

00:11:16.260 foreign wars that divide us and distract us to bring people onto the street to protest things they can't

00:11:25.620 change instead of focusing on the important things which are domestic politics we can change

00:11:34.020 by electing people who can change them for us we need to focus on local provincial and federal laws

00:11:43.300 and not think we can change the world or obsess about what's happening in ukraine or gaza i won't go into

00:11:52.740 ukraine at length i did that in the last broadcast but it's very important we have our principles straight

00:12:00.040 we speak the truth and not stay necessarily on message but stay on truth

00:12:04.380 and we articulate a vision of individual liberty so that's really what i'm going to be talking about today

00:12:11.340 and i've got i've got some special guests are not here but these are recordings of people i admire

00:12:20.380 and one person i don't admire who articulates the progressive agenda but we'll get to that in a minute

00:12:28.140 but here's neil oliver and i was recently on neil's show to talk about the million person march

00:12:34.320 that was focused on gender ideology and was focused on parental rights

00:12:44.020 and of course the march was in ottawa but it was also across the country and i went on neil's show

00:12:51.040 to discuss the success of that but here's neil talking about the two choices we have and what's

00:12:56.900 happening in terms of where the government's where democratic governments and he's from the uk

00:13:03.120 and the situation there is exactly like it is in canada in the u.s individual freedom liberty is

00:13:09.340 being threatened and i want to mention before i got into this whole thing at the end of the year in

00:13:17.720 terms of articulating a vision of freedom i was reminded that we are on the cusp of the 80th anniversary

00:13:25.960 of a book by friedrich hayek sometimes it's von hayek who wrote the road to serfdom in 1944 one of the

00:13:36.020 most influential books about individual freedom and economic liberty ever written it influenced people

00:13:45.120 like william f buckley jr one of the most outstanding voices of conservatism in the 20th century and beyond

00:13:53.960 influenced entire movements within the republican party and elsewhere

00:14:01.940 and really galvanized people who wanted the state to get out of their lives and to give back political and economic freedom

00:14:13.120 so let's listen to neil oliver talk about this obvious now blatantly obvious that we the people are being

00:14:20.060 presented cynically i would say cynically with one emergency after another each one demonstrably more frightening

00:14:28.120 than the last more upsetting more discombobulating and at the same time the government indeed

00:14:37.120 all the governments of the west supposing the west even means anything anymore

00:14:44.660 those governments have successfully gained more and more power as a result just as we the people have

00:14:52.760 seen our freedoms our rights standards of living our mental and physical well-being even compromised and

00:15:00.380 reduced and as always especially in this podcast series as always we say there's nothing new under the sun

00:15:09.160 it's happened before it's always been this way the governments will always tend towards authoritarianism

00:15:17.460 unless they are managed by a an electorate that is wise to them that understands what they're up to

00:15:26.040 what they're trying to do this is why i say we are on the verge of complete economic and political catastrophe unless

00:15:34.540 as i like to say in the show we resolve to resist those forces now here's an example

00:15:41.340 of how the woke progressives are thinking now this is a broadcast that was not very well

00:15:52.180 watched at the time tucker carlson actually rebroadcasted on his show on fox at the time tucker

00:16:00.860 carlson tonight and talked about here's the woke agenda and we always hear people say oh the great reset

00:16:11.960 that's a conspiracy theory but of course it's not because the world economic forum uses that phrase

00:16:20.620 all the time look at their website listen to klaus schwab and listen to justin trudeau prime minister

00:16:29.140 justin trudeau

00:16:30.220 he's an acolyte he's a disciple of the wef they love him there klaus schwab invited him on stage to speak a few years

00:16:39.080 back

00:16:39.460 trudeau is a leading political

00:16:44.600 political member of what the wef is trying to achieve and here he talks about how

00:16:54.360 we can use the covet 19 pandemic to achieve political ends let's listen to this believes that

00:17:01.580 a strong coordinated response across the world and across sectors is essential this pandemic has

00:17:08.320 provided an opportunity for a reset this is our chance to accelerate our pre-pandemic efforts

00:17:14.440 to reimagine economic systems that actually address global challenges like extreme poverty

00:17:20.060 inequality and climate change so there you have it he doesn't say great reset but he says reset and

00:17:26.480 it's obviously he's talking about the same thing isn't he he's talking about the same thing he's saying

00:17:34.320 exploit the crisis use the crisis he's almost saying invent the crisis so you can use it

00:17:42.180 to push your political agenda and that's exactly what trudeau did during covet 19 he pushed

00:17:47.560 authoritarian government through lockdowns through forced vaccinations through forced masking through a

00:17:54.140 program that forced people to do things they didn't want to do like shut down businesses like stay in their

00:18:00.060 living room like not go out for anything except food shut down the gyms kept the strip clubs and liquor

00:18:08.520 stores open made life unmanageable for people destroyed commerce through lockdowns rolling lockdowns and this of

00:18:20.920 course was also facilitated by provincial and municipal governments that were in his pocket and in the pocket

00:18:28.600 of the world health organization that was also pushing this globalist agenda

00:18:33.780 and so that's what trudeau was up to and it was a road to serfdom now what's trudeau using now

00:18:41.300 foreign wars yes yes this is why he's so focused on ukraine right now because he can it allows trudeau to

00:18:49.160 distract your attention from the disaster he's creating in this country with carbon tax

00:18:54.500 with escalating mortgage rates with inflationary spending with a euthanasia program

00:19:03.880 with gun confiscation on and on the list goes and of course he's doubling down on those policies

00:19:14.940 and in his end of the year interviews he kept saying going to get more you're going to get more of this

00:19:19.880 and of course one of the worst elements of trudeau is his censorship policy he's passed two elements of that already

00:19:26.320 there's a third coming in the new year it's going to be called the online safety act

00:19:31.840 i talk about it all the time and it's going to outlaw disinformation and misinformation

00:19:37.620 polia continues to miss to uh miss uh inform canadians on without defining what those terms mean

00:19:44.760 but we'll get to that later i want to go to this other clip here i won't say anything beforehand i'll

00:19:49.940 comment after i think one could look at this as overall a fundamental function of of a stable

00:19:56.600 civilization the longer that any given civilization is stable and does not have a big war the more

00:20:04.620 rules and regulations will accumulate over time so rules regulations laws they are immortal they never die

00:20:11.700 so but people die so if every year more and more rules regulations and laws are added you will eventually

00:20:18.200 make everything illegal and you can think of it gulliver's travels where gulliver if the nation is gulliver

00:20:23.840 is being tied down by one little regulatory string at a time and eventually you have millions of strings

00:20:29.540 and then the giant can't move and so and i think there needs to be something where we delete rules regulations

00:20:36.860 and laws because if we keep if we simply if all we do is add them eventually we will be able to do nothing

00:20:42.700 very interesting analogy to gulliver's travels was we're keeping people down with red tape with government regulations

00:20:54.220 and it's almost it's incremental

00:20:57.340 because there's the old adage you might have heard about the frog in the frying pan

00:21:06.540 you can put a frog in the frying pan and if that frying pan is at maximum heat the frog will

00:21:14.700 immediately jump out of the frying pan put put that frog in the frying pan or in a frying pan or or a

00:21:23.020 a pot of water and slowly incrementally increase the heat of that frying pan or the heat of that water

00:21:31.500 until it is boiling or frying

00:21:34.540 you will literally fry that frog alive because it ignores the incremental change

00:21:40.460 this is what's been happening

00:21:42.940 in canadian american and european society freedoms have been gradually taken away

00:21:50.620 and

00:21:51.340 we have been

00:21:52.700 become accustomed to that freedom being taken away we have been slowly tied down one finger

00:21:59.660 one arm one hand one leg one foot at a time the state has become an encumbrance

00:22:07.820 upon us interfering in our lives interfering in our families interfering in our businesses

00:22:14.860 and ultimately interfering with our thoughts telling us what we are allowed to think

00:22:20.300 to think and to say making these things illegal any talk and ultimately any thought that runs contrary

00:22:32.140 to the state's narrative to the woke progressive narrative becomes not just unacceptable not just subject

00:22:41.260 to cancellation but illegal and that's where the trudeau state is going and that's where the biden state is going

00:22:50.780 and this is what elon musk is saying musk is not perfect but i think he's done

00:22:56.620 an admirable job of trying to reshape

00:23:00.780 x formerly known as twitter into more of a free speech organ than it ever was under the previous

00:23:07.020 management and we all know that

00:23:09.660 stop censoring people you don't like or agree with

00:23:13.180 stop canceling people you don't like or don't agree with and musk has made it evident he's not going to put up with that part

00:23:23.660 so i applaud him for doing that

00:23:26.620 and i think it's very very important to remember that and that is why i say we need to continue

00:23:36.140 to resolve to revisit the push back against these forces of statism and authoritarianism

00:23:42.060 because that is really what has happened here now this is a great clip from redacted coming up with

00:23:49.660 clayton morris talking to a guy who's literally watching what's happening on the u.s southern border

00:23:56.860 so while the united states like canada is giving billions of dollars about 10 times as much though

00:24:03.500 as canada is to the war in ukraine to watch ukrainians die to create a bloodbath 0.93

00:24:10.140 to feed the armaments to feed the munitions manufacturers

00:24:17.180 he has done nothing literally nothing to stop the flood of illegal migrants at the southern border

00:24:22.700 let's have a look if you have if you're not up to the story if you're not tuned into the story

00:24:27.580 watch this clip to get a sense of what's actually happening because you won't see this in canada on

00:24:34.300 cbc or ctv they don't acknowledge there's any southern border crisis in the united states

00:24:40.220 they never even use the word illegal immigrant they're just asylum seekers migrants but have a

00:24:46.380 look at this fact that doc is watching right now i followed that train track about an hour down into

00:24:52.380 mexico and that's the train actually that you know that that that we just saw uh anthony rubin was on

00:24:58.700 right very muckraker the beast they called yeah yeah that train that train god sir yeah no i was

00:25:05.660 just saying we were in a little bit of a delay here you and el salvador uh but it was filled right i

00:25:10.380 mean that train is filled with illegal migrants coming across is that the same train it is it is i 0.76

00:25:16.380 mean it's just it's it looks like india sometimes you know i spent a year in india you know sometimes

00:25:22.060 trains are just covered with people and that's the way it is now can i ask you this so we're talking

00:25:27.180 about right we're talking to you on a day when the biden administration is putting together a

00:25:31.900 coalition of the willing you know sounds familiar like the you know invasion of iraq 10 countries

00:25:38.140 western nations sending over 30 warships 30 ships to the red sea to make sure that trade uh can flow uh

00:25:46.620 and you know looks like probably attacking yemen and attacking houthi rebels in yemen and so we're

00:25:53.020 we're concerned about international trade in the red sea in the suez canal but here we literally have

00:25:59.980 we have our own uh we have uh our own train infrastructure union pacific telling us that 45

00:26:06.780 of all the cars can't get through they're having to slow down agricultural products coming in

00:26:11.820 food and beverages automotive consumer goods industrial commodities talking metals cement we're talking dry

00:26:19.020 food products beer grain uh held in midwest states that are beating so this is all being shut down

00:26:25.260 we're sending 30 ships to the middle east and yet international trade on our southern border

00:26:31.420 is being halted i mean do you not see the hypocrisy i mean i know you see the hypocrisy here but i'm

00:26:36.780 just absolutely furious about this actually i mean i watch your show all the time by the way i was just

00:26:42.300 watching it when we were driving three hours yesterday through el salvador there was actually good signal

00:26:47.260 believe it or not watch it you're getting it dead on accurate and that's what's bothersome because

00:26:52.460 i'm always downrange and also in europe and the other parts of the world watching this this is not

00:26:58.140 hypocrisy they are actually trying to destroy the united states world economic forum is crystal clear

00:27:03.580 what they're doing all right look at look at that lineup this is footage you're not going to see in the

00:27:11.500 mainstream media and look at how many of these people appear to be chinese or from southeast

00:27:18.700 asia and you're always hearing no no no these are all people from mexico or maybe honduras there are

00:27:23.980 people from all over the world including from china who are getting into united states illegally many of

00:27:30.460 them or at least some of them are terrorists and a lot of them do not have the best interests of

00:27:35.580 the united states or democracy in mind so this is shocking footage

00:27:42.780 yes and and on and on and on these this is what's happening at the southern border it's a december 20th

00:28:07.820 it was like a week ago yes this is what the united states is confronting it it's absolutely shocking

00:28:19.660 and of course you have a president united states who is obviously senile who's not

00:28:26.860 in control of his faculties whose cognizance is very very low who has stood by and watched this happen

00:28:34.860 or perhaps he's just facilitated it because he thinks there's a plan here

00:28:41.260 and if he thinks the plan is these are all democratic voters coming across the border

00:28:47.820 he might either be wrong or these people coming across the border might ultimately so undermine american

00:28:54.860 democracy that they won't be voting for anybody and that's a harsh and stark reality of what's happening

00:29:02.700 and of course canada has no immigration policy they're talking about a 500 000 person cap

00:29:12.140 in about two and a half years that's still too many per year but we're not even there yet and they could

00:29:18.460 change their mind god forbid if the liberals stay in office they could change their mind after the next

00:29:24.860 election but that's why we need to get rid of the liberals because they believe in mass immigration

00:29:32.380 and we have to convince the conservative party as well that mass immigration is not a good idea because

00:29:37.660 you're not hearing a lot from them on that issue either let's go to tucker carlson now and he's talking

00:29:45.500 about i think the same thing as i've been talking about neil oliver was talking about

00:29:52.060 and justin trudeau was was telling you is coming under his his leadership this is a great piece from

00:30:01.900 tucker the justice department to knock the front runner out of the race on fake charges period 0.85

00:30:10.220 if you allow that you're done okay so there's that and you also can't allow a political party to choose a

00:30:16.220 senile guy to quote run your country when every single person knows he's not running the country

00:30:22.540 because he's senile and no one's allowed to say so because it's mean stop so i do think that's super

00:30:29.820 important it's just impossible to imagine myself ever getting involved in something like that and not

00:30:34.860 because i'm afraid because i'm not afraid at all i don't really care what happens to me and i mean that

00:30:41.740 i mean that but because how would i be good at that do you know what i mean i just i don't think

00:30:48.940 i would and i also i think i mean i just can't imagine myself at a fundraiser or something and

00:30:54.300 somebody like well actually zelinski is a lot like churchill and i just couldn't sit through i don't

00:31:00.460 care how much money you're giving me zelinski is not like churchill okay zelinski has tried to get

00:31:08.220 my country where my children live in a nuclear war and anyone who tries to get my children in 0.91

00:31:14.220 nuclear war is my enemy and so i couldn't sit through that meal without making ken griffin mad 0.64

00:31:22.460 oh god i'm a billion oh shut up you know nothing and i've watched it i interviewed a presidential 0.76

00:31:28.780 candidate at one point who like say what do you think of ukraine oh well i think you know ukraine is 0.98

00:31:33.740 a sad regional conflict i don't think russia should have invaded fine but it's not in our core national

00:31:37.660 interest well that's obviously true and ken griffin calls the guy up and he's like you can't say that

00:31:42.380 and he's like issues the statement next day like i can't say that actually ukraine is really important

00:31:46.140 slensky's churchill i'm not naming names but i will say i thought that was disgusting and i like the

00:31:53.260 guy who did it by the way that's disgusting you should be ashamed you're a grown man and you're taking 0.99

00:31:57.340 orders from some moron some guy doesn't know anything who may be good at you know investing it 0.99

00:32:03.100 doesn't mean you're a good person it definitely doesn't mean you're wise wealth is not a measure 0.98

00:32:08.460 of wisdom and wisdom is all that matters the evidence unmistakably shows an acceleration in

00:32:15.020 whatever this dark force is in this country whose only impulse is to to destroy not to improve or create

00:32:22.700 but to destroy and it's all around us and the only way to stop it is with that moral strength i described

00:32:33.340 guns won't stop it they have more than we do that's just true and they're happy to use them

00:32:39.900 they're happy to use them and when i hear senator dick durbin who might be the most evil member of the 0.96

00:32:44.460 senate and it's quite a tight race for that title when i hear senator dick durbin say maybe we should 0.56

00:32:49.500 take some of the tens of millions of foreigners who've arrived all of them seem to be about 23 and in 0.65

00:32:54.540 great shape and hand them automatic weapons in our military and give them badges and guns in our

00:32:59.980 police departments i'm wondering what exactly is that

00:33:03.100 yes what exactly is that but if you notice we've taken the discussion from the very negative

00:33:14.060 positive to a glimmer of positive and what is tucker carlson talking about here he's talking

00:33:21.900 about all of the problems that i've outlined to some degree i didn't talk about donald trump being

00:33:27.820 taken off the ballot in colorado how the biden administration has persecuted and prosecuted

00:33:33.740 a former president and anybody who has supported him

00:33:42.380 how they have put so-called insurrectionists from january 6 into jail and left them there to rot without

00:33:49.580 bail or trial how they have acted like an authoritarian regime

00:33:59.100 and tucker carlson mentions that but he says it's the moral authority that is ultimately going to win

00:34:04.780 the day for individual liberty we have to fight back we have to resolve to resist and at the end 0.70

00:34:11.580 of 2023 it's so important not to give up not to let these cowards these craven politicians win by default

00:34:23.820 simply because they've got the talking points their talking points are meaningless they're vacuous

00:34:32.700 and when you confront them with their talking points and you say what do you mean by that what

00:34:38.460 the hell does that really mean when you say you've you've been doing things for canada yeah you've

00:34:47.740 been doing things all right what does it mean when you say that you'll be there for canadians

00:34:55.980 while you're there all right doing bad things behind our backs and sometimes in front of us

00:35:01.340 but confront them with the truth confront them with reality and that's what common sense

00:35:09.900 conservatism libertarianism is all about it's about coming at the opponents of liberty those who

00:35:17.900 want you to serve the state those who want serfdom whether it's be under the

00:35:23.260 justice of the covet 19 pandemic foreign wars or fighting climate change

00:35:34.060 i mean we have a madman of an energy or evan and sorry he could he pretty he can't tell the

00:35:39.580 difference someday of an environment minister of environment climate change minister stephen gilbo 0.70

00:35:44.700 who wants to outlaw the gas-powered automobile by 2035 that's insane he's a madman he's not thinking

00:35:57.660 rationally that is not logical policy but he wants to impose that dictatorial idea on all of us

00:36:06.940 and that's just one example and it's because we have allowed our loss of freedom to become normalized

00:36:17.660 through crises like the pandemic and other other things that constantly stop us

00:36:27.980 we have we have become accustomed to freedom being taken away we have to stop letting that being

00:36:33.580 normalized we have to stop being accustomed to have our freedom taken away and we do need to fight

00:36:38.940 back we do need to say enough is enough no more i like what polly have said recently about a party of 0.90

00:36:51.820 mind your own business you know if i were to create a political party from scratch it would be called 0.78

00:36:58.300 the mind your own damn business party we need the state to get out of our lives we need 1.00

00:37:03.420 government out of our lives and we need to raise our families and to assess our own lives by ourselves 0.99

00:37:15.900 and not in servitude to the state and that's what the woke progressives want that's what the woke

00:37:21.500 ideology is purporting and promoting and we have got to remember we can stop it if we have the moral

00:37:32.060 authority and there is in the moral obligation to resist so i'm going to end this on a positive note because

00:37:41.900 it's very important to note

00:37:48.380 that we haven't lost yet but we have to know the stakes are high and we have to understand

00:37:55.500 that the future depends on what we do now and in the new year

00:38:05.660 so mobilize for freedom

00:38:09.580 let those who love liberty be galvanized not by fear but by the enthusiasm they share

00:38:18.540 for individual freedom and the rights that we always enjoyed in this country and we must possess again

00:38:30.700 and we must take them back if necessary but that is the positive message i put out there now we can fight

00:38:39.180 back in 2024 and we can win because we can't lose if we lose we lose everything but if we win

00:38:52.460 we regain the freedom we are always accustomed to in this country and elsewhere you know i've got a

00:38:58.460 little speech i want to play from robert of kennedy senior this is not an endorsement of

00:39:03.500 rob bob bobby kennedy jr's candidacy although i think he's a courageous individual for running for

00:39:11.100 presidency given what happened to his father and his uncle and i think he's got gutsy positions on a

00:39:18.620 number of issues especially covet 19 mandates but his father was very eloquent at times talking about freedom

00:39:29.020 in a way that his brother edward kennedy never was but i but i always had a soft spot for bobby and

00:39:39.260 and his words and i just want to part with this favorite poem my my favorite poet was aeschylus he once wrote

00:39:48.700 even in our sleep pain which cannot forget falls drop by drop upon the heart until in our own day

00:40:03.340 despair against our will comes wisdom through the awful grace of god what we need in the united states

00:40:13.180 is not division what we need in the united states is not hatred what we need in the united states is not

00:40:20.700 violence and lawlessness but his love and wisdom and compassion toward one another feeling of justice

00:40:31.740 toward those who still suffer within our country whether they be white or whether they be black

00:40:43.180 in the united states is not hatred what we need in the united states is not hatred

00:40:51.420 thanks for watching today and of course bobby kennedy was talking about

00:40:57.100 a world in which white and black 0.92

00:41:02.940 and the rights of white and black were defined in a colorblind perspective in other words

00:41:07.420 we don't judge people on the basis of their race or their skin color

00:41:12.220 or their ethnicity we base them we judge people on the basis of their character as martin luther king

00:41:17.740 said and that of course is not part of the woke agenda the woke agenda is all about identity politics

00:41:24.620 it's about dividing people dividing and conquering so what the canada needs today is not more identity

00:41:31.020 politics not more division but immunity amongst all of those people who love freedom and who love their

00:41:36.940 families who love god who love the fact that they can be whomever they want to be in a country

00:41:48.700 that facilitates their growth and does not impede it

00:41:52.220 and that's the canada i was born into and that's the canada i want to die in and i am going to fight for those rights

00:42:04.460 because of course the woke extremists have appropriated a lot of the language you just heard

00:42:13.260 but it doesn't mean freedom it doesn't mean justice it doesn't mean equality it means

00:42:22.460 serfdom it means slavery it means inequality it means injustice and that's what we're fighting

00:42:32.700 so thanks for watching today thanks for supporting this station i'll be back again very soon with another
