00:00:00.880 Happy, happy New Year.
00:00:03.660 Thank you so much for joining.
00:00:04.920 No, this is not a new time.
00:00:07.500 We will be gradually transitioning to two programs a day in the new year.
00:00:14.860 I have a little more time in the day.
00:00:16.460 Might even be doing more live QP as well.
00:00:22.300 Like I say, I've got a little more time in the day now.
00:00:25.420 As I've told you all, thanks for joining me today.
00:00:28.280 I hope you had a great New Year's Eve.
00:00:30.480 If you have any New Year's resolutions, let them all come to pass.
00:00:36.940 And resolution is what this show is all about.
00:00:42.440 Resolve to resist.
00:00:45.020 So what's your resolution this year?
00:00:46.660 Let's have an election.
00:00:47.740 Let's get rid of Justin Trudeau.
00:00:49.440 He is staying.
00:00:50.600 I said that yesterday.
00:00:52.460 He revealed that in his social media post on X.
00:00:58.280 But he also revealed it, I think, quite explicitly in probably the most entertaining interview Justin Trudeau has ever done with this hour, his 22 minutes.
00:01:09.360 So this is funny.
00:01:11.220 And just caught this last night.
00:01:13.780 Apparently they did this before Trudeau decided no end of year interviews for anybody.
00:01:18.160 Well, he got this one in.
00:01:20.680 That's before he made that edict for all the usual suspects in the journalism world who always interviewed the prime minister at the end of December.
00:01:31.360 And generally it's played on New Year's Eve or January 1st.
00:01:36.080 But this is really quite interesting because listen to what Trudeau says about his retirement.
00:01:43.240 Quite, quite interesting.
00:01:44.980 Cure the border.
00:01:46.820 You know who you should get to do that?
00:01:49.440 The Freedom Convoy people.
00:01:50.980 You just line up all those trucks along the border.
00:01:53.860 And, you know, they love to barricade things.
00:01:55.820 There's no drugs getting past them.
00:01:57.400 And you don't even have to pay him or feed him because Pierre Polyevich is going to go back and forth all day giving him 10 bits.
00:02:01.860 And so you went down there.
00:02:02.780 He liked that.
00:02:03.300 Kind of likes to be flattered.
00:02:04.640 Would you consider inviting him up to Canada for a state visit like you did for President Biden?
00:02:10.380 Yes.
00:02:11.240 That would be nice.
00:02:12.320 He'd like that.
00:02:13.700 No, if you strengthen the border, he can't get in because he's a convicted felon.
00:02:18.140 We'll see how it goes.
00:02:19.480 And we know that 40 years ago your father faked.
00:02:22.560 Now, we're doing this, of course, because it's CBC.
00:02:26.320 And if we show you the real clip, we'll get demonetized.
00:02:30.760 CBC is demonetizing everybody.
00:02:33.380 And CBC should not be doing this.
00:02:35.560 It's public-owned broadcasting.
00:02:37.540 Everything, for the time being, anyway, until Pierre Polyevich keeps his promise and sells it.
00:02:44.060 You see what they're doing here with the glasses of beer.
00:02:46.600 This is reminiscent of this interview Trudeau does every year, usually in September, with his old journalism radio guy from Montreal.
00:02:57.180 And they share a glass of beer.
00:03:00.020 And it's one of the dullest, most, how shall we say, hagiographic interviews around.
00:03:08.100 But this is interesting.
00:03:09.180 He famously took a walk in the snow when the conservatives were up in the polls and decided it was time to give it up.
00:03:17.460 It's snowing out there now.
00:03:18.980 When my father was my age, he still had a dozen years of prime ministering ahead of him.
00:03:27.340 Oh, my God.
00:03:29.660 Another dozen years?
00:03:31.380 God, no.
00:03:32.440 Ha ha.
00:03:33.720 Ha ha.
00:03:34.540 Yeah.
00:03:39.600 Of course, what he means is Trudeau was 12 years older than Justin Trudeau is right now when he retired.
00:03:52.640 And Trudeau, of course, was a young, was, Justin Trudeau was a lot younger when he was first elected as prime minister, 2015.
00:03:59.980 I mean, Trudeau was 49 years old when he was, when he became prime minister in 1968.
00:04:09.700 So that's what he's talking about.
00:04:11.140 That's, is that, is that enough to scare you?
00:04:14.040 I know it's not Halloween, but that is a good, that's a chilling thought that he, you know, he actually is saying, contemplating being around for 12 more years.
00:04:27.080 Of course, no, of course, you know, these things don't happen, no, but beware, beware.
00:04:34.720 So once again, this is not, the 10 o'clock broadcast will be back to normal tomorrow.
00:04:40.960 We just want everybody to know that.
00:04:42.900 And I want to show you a bit of this.
00:04:44.540 I'm not going to show you the whole clip.
00:04:45.860 This is really stupid to play the whole clip.
00:04:48.320 But just the location, the link for this Conservative Party of Canada broadcast, it's a YouTube video.
00:05:01.040 The link is there.
00:05:02.080 Go watch it.
00:05:02.660 You don't want to, you don't want to see the whole thing with my mug in the, in the, in the shot.
00:05:07.520 I mean, just go and watch it.
00:05:09.100 And, you know, I'm not, I don't, I'm not that shy of material.
00:05:12.420 I have to, I've got to show the whole video to you.
00:05:15.100 But I just, is, is, I have to say, Conservatives are often accused of having no sense of humor.
00:05:25.060 Or at least, shall we say, have difficulty laughing at things.
00:05:32.320 Certainly at themselves.
00:05:33.600 But when there's so much to laugh at with Justin Trudeau and the gang, they really don't need to laugh at themselves.
00:05:40.160 And I'd like to see Paul Leif show a sense of humor.
00:05:43.780 I mean, obviously he didn't put this together himself.
00:05:46.600 Whoever did, though, is doing great work.
00:05:48.840 And this is a great little video.
00:05:50.540 And I encourage you to watch the whole thing.
00:05:53.780 What do they really admire?
00:05:55.480 There's a level of admiration I actually have for China.
00:06:02.020 Because their basic dictatorship.
00:06:06.520 In exchange for his admiration, Beijing's dictatorship gave Trudeau an endearing nickname.
00:06:12.100 We're quite proud.
00:06:13.860 The Prime Minister has been given a fond nickname in China.
00:06:18.400 Which is?
00:06:18.680 He is called Pudou, which I believe means potato.
00:06:23.280 And he is, I can't say the Chinese word, it's young, Pudou, little potato.
00:06:27.660 You can't make this stuff up, folks.
00:06:31.740 I'd forgotten about this.
00:06:33.660 This is a great video because it not only does it have clips that I haven't seen in years,
00:06:38.320 some of which I've never seen, including Christia Freeland when she was a journalist on the old Chris Matthews show.
00:06:44.800 Chris Matthews is long gone from MSNBC.
00:06:47.680 Or was it CNBC?
00:06:48.820 I can't remember which one he was on.
00:06:50.880 But Chris Matthews is long gone.
00:06:52.580 I think he made some kind of racial remark or something.
00:06:55.400 I forget what it was.
00:06:56.440 But Christia Freeland was on the show with him.
00:06:59.440 And this is a great video because it's got the clip of Trudeau actually saying he admires China.
00:07:04.860 I don't know how many times I've cited that National Post story in articles I've written about Trudeau over the years.
00:07:12.540 But I've never actually seen the clip.
00:07:15.340 And so that's great.
00:07:16.140 Because his father, Pierre Elliott, Trudeau, was senior potato.
00:07:22.120 Back at home, it takes a team to make a wacko world.
00:07:28.480 Yeah.
00:07:30.040 So there's lots of great stuff in that video.
00:07:33.280 I encourage you to watch it.
00:07:36.460 It is very entertaining.
00:07:38.720 And like I say, we need more of that.
00:07:41.320 Some people will think it's a bit...
00:07:43.960 No, actually...
00:07:46.140 I haven't seen the likes of that from the Conservative Party in a long, long time.
00:07:51.040 If ever.
00:07:52.120 They're not noted for their comedic approach to things.
00:07:57.180 But great, great stuff.
00:07:59.220 The link is in the description below.
00:08:01.500 Look it up.
00:08:02.400 Have a view.
00:08:03.260 It's really entertaining.
00:08:04.160 I want to move on to something else here.
00:08:06.620 Because I think this is an interesting idea.
00:08:11.000 Now, a lot of people said at the time of NAFTA.
00:08:16.140 Or actually...
00:08:17.000 No.
00:08:18.560 This is before North American free trade.
00:08:20.620 This was the Canada-U.S. free trade agreement.
00:08:24.240 Before Mexico got involved.
00:08:26.360 That would be 1988.
00:08:28.920 The election that year between Brian Mulrooney and John Turner was all about free trade with the U.S.
00:08:42.080 And those who opposed free trade with the U.S. said we would be eaten alive.
00:08:46.540 And it was just another name for economic union.
00:08:51.380 Remember that quite vividly.
00:08:52.860 I was a journalist at the time.
00:08:55.580 I was the editor of a small community newspaper.
00:08:57.940 And I remember being very gung-ho about free trade with the United States.
00:09:02.940 I thought it was a great idea.
00:09:04.020 And I did not think it would mean an economic union.
00:09:06.200 Of course, it hasn't meant an economic union.
00:09:08.600 Debatable whether it's working for us as well as it should or not.
00:09:12.880 But who's talking about an economic union these days?
00:09:16.460 Well, Kevin O'Leary.
00:09:18.860 Previously, I met Kevin when he was running for the leadership of the Conservative Party of Canada.
00:09:24.140 This is long before Pierre Pauli even had any ambition to do that.
00:09:28.780 And it's prior to Andrew Scheer.
00:09:30.220 Prior to Aaron O'Toole.
00:09:32.820 He was running.
00:09:33.660 I think that was the year that Andrew Scheer did win, if I'm not mistaken.
00:09:40.840 So, Kevin O'Leary, you know, basically pitching out, out pitching for Canada all the time,
00:09:47.420 even though he spends most of his life in the United States.
00:09:50.560 And he's going to Mar-a-Lago.
00:09:52.780 Lago.
00:09:53.480 Sorry, did I say Lago?
00:09:54.600 Mar-a-Lago to visit with President, soon to be President Donald Trump.
00:10:01.040 Still President-elect Donald Trump.
00:10:04.640 And he wants to talk about an economic union.
00:10:08.440 Interesting idea.
00:10:10.120 Because you can't put tariffs on your economic union partner, can you?
00:10:16.760 So let's listen to what Kevin has to say.
00:10:19.300 And like I say, I think I might try to get Kevin on the show because I knew him fairly well at one time when he was running.
00:10:27.240 And I did a number of interviews with him.
00:10:29.220 But I thought he was a viable candidate and he just dropped out of the race one day.
00:10:34.080 I guess he just got fed up for politics.
00:10:36.160 Probably a few things in the closet.
00:10:38.860 I don't know.
00:10:39.720 But I'm going to see if I can look him up again.
00:10:41.980 I still have his contact number somewhere.
00:10:43.860 Anyway, this is it.
00:10:44.520 We understand you're headed to Mar-a-Lago to meet with President-elect Trump.
00:10:49.300 You have said you want to broker a deal.
00:10:51.900 We understand you're headed to Mar-a-Lago to meet with President-elect Trump.
00:10:56.840 You have said you want to broker a deal that will create an economic union between the U.S. and Canada.
00:11:04.040 Is that right?
00:11:04.660 Yes, there's no reason to be fighting.
00:11:07.500 We've been talking about this for decades.
00:11:09.260 And I think the time is right.
00:11:11.300 What I did, and I've been doing this now for about 48 hours, and I'm getting a lot of feedback from the Canadian public.
00:11:18.220 I enjoy a very large social media following there.
00:11:21.860 So I said to them, look, what deal do you want?
00:11:26.600 Interesting.
00:11:27.360 I haven't seen this covered.
00:11:28.860 This was on Fox Business, you know, and if you ever watch Fox Business, sometimes the material there is even better, better than the regular Fox station.
00:11:39.020 But this is interesting that Kevin O'Leary said this, and it really hasn't been picked up by any Canadian media, U.S. media.
00:11:45.900 And they definitely don't want to give up their sovereignty, but they really want to explore this idea of an economic union because Canada, but, you know,
00:11:54.040 you think about 40 million people, size of California, unlimited resources, unlimited power, unlimited gas, unlimited water, unlimited lumber, unlimited everything.
00:12:04.280 And they're not stupid.
00:12:05.720 They're thinking, wait a second, what if we had free trade east, west, north, south, and that we put all our resources in instead of squabbling on our own border between Canada and the United States
00:12:15.240 and put all that money up into protecting ourselves against the Chinese and the Russians up north.
00:12:20.480 That all makes sense to Canadians.
00:12:23.200 They just don't want to give up their sovereignty, just like somebody born in Louisiana doesn't want to be born somewhere else.
00:12:29.320 They want to say, look, I was born in Calgary, whatever.
00:12:31.700 But the way to solve for that is a passport, no different than the EU.
00:12:36.880 Any American get it, any Canadian can get it, get the background check.
00:12:40.300 They're starting to like that idea a lot more than the idea of selling out the whole country.
00:12:46.120 It would be interesting to see what kind of...
00:12:48.100 Now, this is an idea, I think, whose time has come.
00:12:51.740 Very interesting idea.
00:12:53.140 And of course, yes, sovereignty is difficult to define at times when you're dealing with the United States.
00:13:01.840 I mean, how sovereign are we, really?
00:13:04.240 And would it make sense?
00:13:06.700 Because the continent runs north-south, not east-west.
00:13:10.980 I've always said that.
00:13:11.960 The people in British Columbia have much more in common with the people in Washington state.
00:13:18.100 Alberta has more in common with Montana and Idaho.
00:13:22.880 Ontario has a lot in common with upstate New York.
00:13:28.320 And you can even say with Illinois.
00:13:30.140 You know, Manitoba and Saskatchewan, much in common with North Dakota.
00:13:36.700 So that's really how the continent runs.
00:13:39.700 And I think this economic union would play into that.
00:13:43.780 A headway you can make with the president-elect.
00:13:47.240 I feel like he would be open to something like that.
00:13:49.580 I think he's a great negotiator and he throws out these outlandish ideas.
00:13:55.000 And then what falls through the cracks is the winning stuff.
00:13:58.400 I really, really think the two countries should get together.
00:14:01.840 And I'm licking my chops at the opportunity of being involved.
00:14:05.360 Because right now we've got a leadership that's collapsing.
00:14:08.520 Justin Trudeau is on his way out.
00:14:10.580 So for the next five months, there's a void in Ottawa.
00:14:14.600 As I like to say, thank goodness I'm here.
00:14:19.580 Hey, by the way, while you're there, Kevin, you're going to bring up TikTok.
00:14:23.000 And let me follow that up with, are you still interested in perhaps buying it?
00:14:28.960 More than ever, you have...
00:14:31.000 Did you hear this one?
00:14:33.580 Kevin O'Leary is considering buying TikTok.
00:14:36.220 And that would be a nice way out for everybody in this TikTok dilemma, of course.
00:14:41.560 Because the Supreme Court right now is looking at TikTok's, shall we say, argument that banning TikTok in the U.S.
00:14:52.860 is a violation of the First Amendment free speech rates.
00:14:56.200 Donald Trump has indicated his sympathies are with TikTok.
00:14:58.760 He wants this ban to be halted or paused until...
00:15:06.940 But of course, what the Congress asked TikTok to do is sell its Chinese own parent company, ByteDance.
00:15:14.420 So if Kevin O'Leary buys it, I didn't know he had that much money.
00:15:19.300 But if he buys it, that would be a nice compromise all around.
00:15:22.300 No idea how much money I'm spending on legals and our own team's time.
00:15:26.720 I bet you it's taking about 20% of our day now.
00:15:29.420 And right now, here's the story.
00:15:30.960 Here's the situation for everybody to understand.
00:15:32.780 I'll give it to you in layman's terms.
00:15:34.720 This complaint's been kicked back up to the Supreme Court.
00:15:38.920 The Supreme Court, in my view, will render a decision before the 19th.
00:15:43.440 Now, if there's a valid LOI in place that fits with the order that Congress have put in place,
00:15:49.580 in other words, moving it to American ownership,
00:15:53.260 President Biden is the only person that can do this until the 19th.
00:15:57.500 He can put a 90-day stay of execution so he can work out a deal with ByteDance
00:16:02.680 and keep this thing lit up.
00:16:04.540 This is not about free speech.
00:16:05.700 That's why they're going to lose at the Supreme Court.
00:16:07.820 This is about Chinese spyware.
00:16:09.860 This thing drips with spyware.
00:16:12.660 And it's got to be carved out, so we have to rewrite the algorithm.
00:16:15.800 Last component I've been working on that I think is so important.
00:16:18.380 Anybody out there that wants to come in with me as an equity owner,
00:16:22.320 anybody, anybody that's a valid American citizen
00:16:25.740 can join me at the same price I'm buying in for through equity crowdfunding.
00:16:30.280 I'm hoping millions of people, including those that are on TikTok,
00:16:34.600 all those 7 million small businesses,
00:16:36.780 that's my universe of shark tankers, products and services,
00:16:41.060 join me in the deal.
00:16:42.620 You go to wonderfultiktok.com, see all the details.
00:16:45.240 You can register your interest.
00:16:46.100 I can't sell you anything yet because the company is in denial.
00:16:49.640 When the Supreme Court kicks it out,
00:16:51.780 that's when the clock starts ticking and I'm there.
00:16:55.620 Oh, anybody out there?
00:16:59.840 Of course, you have to be an American to buy into this.
00:17:03.260 That's the whole idea.
00:17:04.420 It's got to be an American buyer.
00:17:06.720 Kevin O'Leary, I guess, technically fits that description
00:17:10.320 because he lives and works in the United States,
00:17:12.600 although he loves to say he's a Canadian citizen.
00:17:15.020 So I think he might have dual citizenship.
00:17:17.620 But anyway, interesting idea.
00:17:20.140 Might be a way out.
00:17:21.120 It's not face-saving for a lot of people
00:17:23.120 because, of course, it's a free speech issue.
00:17:26.900 You can't just dismiss that and say,
00:17:29.840 well, it's not a free speech issue.
00:17:31.040 It's a Chinese spyware issue.
00:17:32.620 Well, it's both.
00:17:34.500 And the Supreme Court is definitely going to have a hard time with this one.
00:17:38.640 But this would be a nice way out for everybody.
00:17:41.200 I hope Kevin O'Leary is successful.
00:17:43.140 Bye.
00:17:43.600 I'm going to move to another story.
00:17:44.840 It's been totally underreported over the holidays.
00:17:48.100 And this is the first broadcast of the year.
00:17:51.380 We're going to be doing a lot more hard-hitting news on this show
00:17:55.600 because, as I say, I've got more time to devote just to this show,
00:18:00.280 more time for original journalism,
00:18:03.180 more time to interview real people.
00:18:07.960 So I'm going to try to rely less on everybody else's clips
00:18:12.660 because you can see that everywhere.
00:18:14.740 And to do more original reporting, which is what I've always done.
00:18:20.380 And I think that's going to be my New Year's resolution,
00:18:24.780 as well as resolving to resist the Trudeau tyranny,
00:18:29.360 I'm going to resolve to do more original journalism on this show.
00:18:34.020 And hopefully, and as I say, like the station right now, if you can,
00:18:37.500 while I'm thinking of it.
00:18:38.620 Like it, give it a thumbs up, subscribe if you haven't.
00:18:41.620 We didn't hit our 40,000 mark by New Year's Eve.
00:18:44.520 No surprise.
00:18:45.920 I was being a little overly optimistic there.
00:18:50.320 But whatever.
00:18:51.380 We'll get there in the next month or so.
00:18:54.320 Keep subscribing.
00:18:55.460 Tell your friends and family about this broadcast.
00:18:57.760 If you think it's a little different in ways,
00:19:00.520 if you think this guy is a little crazier,
00:19:02.480 or you think this guy is a little more in your face,
00:19:05.360 tell people that, I appreciate it.
00:19:08.420 I'm trying to do things in my way.
00:19:12.740 You know the song.
00:19:14.020 And, you know, yesterday I was going to sing,
00:19:17.040 what do you do in New Year's Eve?
00:19:18.360 And I didn't get around to it.
00:19:22.260 We will even do some music once in a while on the show.
00:19:26.140 As long as I can do it without being demonetized.
00:19:29.940 Anyway, let's watch this.
00:19:31.080 Interesting.
00:19:31.420 The experts I spoke to say the timing of this investigation
00:19:35.300 and its results is no coincidence.
00:19:38.820 With U.S. President-elect Donald Trump
00:19:41.500 putting an increased focus on border security,
00:19:44.700 this press release by an Indian government agency
00:19:47.200 could be used to support increased measures
00:19:50.380 at the Canada-U.S. border.
00:19:52.220 This is extremely unprecedented,
00:19:54.280 given the fact that this is human trafficking
00:19:56.900 connected to study permit regime in Canada,
00:20:01.600 as opposed to the asylum system.
00:20:03.720 India's enforcement directorate claims
00:20:05.780 its investigation revealed
00:20:07.360 thousands of Indians apply for colleges
00:20:09.800 and universities in Canada,
00:20:11.500 but once the individuals or students reach Canada,
00:20:15.020 instead of joining the college,
00:20:16.780 they illegally crossed the U.S.-Canada border
00:20:19.420 and never joined colleges in Canada.
00:20:21.820 Now, this is one of the other reasons
00:20:25.140 Donald Trump is always obsessing
00:20:27.380 about the northern border.
00:20:30.480 Terrorists get across the northern border
00:20:32.280 and so do these fake students.
00:20:37.700 They are coming to Canada
00:20:39.160 supposedly to go enroll in universities and colleges
00:20:42.960 and then heading straight south.
00:20:45.500 This is absolutely fascinating.
00:20:48.060 The investigation alleges there are two entities in India
00:20:51.320 with a network of thousands of agents
00:20:54.080 sending students abroad,
00:20:56.000 claiming one of them referred 25,000
00:20:58.780 and another over 10,000 students
00:21:01.560 to colleges outside of India every year,
00:21:04.800 including in Canada,
00:21:06.600 where India alleges more than 100 colleges
00:21:09.240 have entered into agreements with each entity.
00:21:12.920 In the release, it did not name the colleges.
00:21:15.280 The investigation claiming when they arrive,
00:21:17.340 they crossed the border illegally.
00:21:19.340 The only entities colleges work with abroad
00:21:21.440 are called recruiters, right?
00:21:23.500 The problem with recruiters
00:21:25.220 is there is no regulation of them.
00:21:26.940 They don't have to be registered.
00:21:29.020 They don't have to be controlled by anybody.
00:21:33.120 Indian officials say this investigation
00:21:35.240 was launched in response to the family of four
00:21:38.240 that died in freezing temperatures
00:21:40.440 while trying to cross into the U.S.
00:21:42.740 through the Manitoba border nearly three years ago.
00:21:45.980 Now, a lot of these people are getting across the border
00:21:49.940 in Minnesota.
00:21:52.560 That's, you know, Manitoba's borders,
00:21:56.780 Minnesota at some point.
00:21:59.860 And that's where a lot of them are getting going.
00:22:02.860 And they're just walking across,
00:22:04.620 sometimes in the worst weather,
00:22:06.080 and freezing to death.
00:22:07.240 I remember that story about the people freezing to death.
00:22:10.360 The allegations against the entities in India,
00:22:16.740 they have not been tested in court.
00:22:19.500 And for now,
00:22:20.400 the colleges and university associations in Canada
00:22:23.560 have chosen not to respond to this investigation.
00:22:26.360 How does it start?
00:22:28.320 Now, this is further evidence.
00:22:37.000 I'm glad I watched this whole thing through.
00:22:40.100 This is further evidence of what's going on here.
00:22:43.940 Now, this is human trafficking.
00:22:47.720 Yes, Canada is aiding and abetting it.
00:22:50.400 The Trudeau government is aiding and abetting it.
00:22:52.200 While at the same time,
00:22:53.500 they're blaming India for committing heinous crimes.
00:22:57.960 You know, it's,
00:22:58.800 this whole thing,
00:23:00.440 it just absolutely smells.
00:23:02.500 How does it start?
00:23:23.180 Yeah.
00:23:23.840 Yeah, for the benefit of those who don't speak English, he's delivering the message in, I think it's Hindustani, and there's the phone number for trafficking right there, call this number please.
00:23:53.840 Well, I'm going to have to, my glasses here, this is our Corsair, Mark Miller, Black Locks reporter.
00:24:09.400 Mark Miller says he's counting on 4.9 million foreigners with expiring permits to leave Canada voluntarily.
00:24:17.580 But Canada has already lost track of 500,000.
00:24:26.460 How can you not know?
00:24:29.200 Where are they?
00:24:31.280 I mean, this is incredible.
00:24:34.460 But, you know, there's a more number, temporary residence.
00:24:43.580 Look at that.
00:24:44.540 How will you ensure that a person whose visa has expired will leave?
00:24:48.800 We know that just on study permits, there are 766,000 expiring by the end of December 2025.
00:24:55.740 How will your department ensure that at the end of those study permit periods, those persons will leave?
00:25:03.740 Again, there are many ways that people leave the country, Tom.
00:25:08.780 At least focus on borders.
00:25:10.340 Sorry.
00:25:10.520 How will you ensure that a person who...
00:25:13.220 Now, Mark Miller's response here is the usual Mark Miller response, non-answered.
00:25:18.200 He's no better committee than he is during question period.
00:25:22.840 His visa has expired will leave.
00:25:24.720 We know that just on study permits, there are 766,000 expiring by the end of December 2025.
00:25:31.100 How will your department ensure that at the end of those study permit periods, those persons will leave?
00:25:39.680 Again, there are many ways that people leave the country, Tom.
00:25:44.920 The vast majority leave voluntarily, and that's what's expected.
00:25:49.360 So, explain those ways, how will you ensure it?
00:25:53.860 In the vast majority of cases, those people that have come here temporarily and do not have the right to stay, in fact, leave.
00:26:06.020 Just like that.
00:26:11.400 No problem.
00:26:13.340 They're just going to leave.
00:26:15.420 Yeah, maybe going south.
00:26:18.960 Now, what else are we going to be watching here?
00:26:21.780 We've got 26 days until Parliament comes back.
00:26:25.620 Justin Trudeau is not going to be having any news conferences.
00:26:30.240 He's not going to be making any announcements.
00:26:32.840 It looks like the NDP might not support that non-confidence vote.
00:26:37.780 This is chaotic.
00:26:40.700 We are going, and in 19 more days, Donald Trump becomes the President of the United States.
00:26:47.380 Inauguration Day is January 20th.
00:26:50.680 So, lots happening here.
00:26:52.260 We could have tariffs slapped on all Canadian products on January 20th or 21st.
00:27:00.580 Trump is serious.
00:27:03.100 You know, spending $1.3 billion on the border over six years did not satisfy Trump.
00:27:11.260 This is why he is continuing to troll Justin Trudeau, to call him the governor of the 51st state, because he doesn't take him seriously.
00:27:20.580 Justin Trudeau doesn't care if Donald Trump takes him seriously.
00:27:25.740 You know, you watch that interview he did with this hour of 22 minutes.
00:27:28.740 I know it's a comedy show, but there's more truth sometimes in a comedy show than there is in so-called real journalism, when Justin Trudeau is being interviewed by a so-called real journalist.
00:27:41.480 He's been being interviewed by a comedian, but his responses are actually quite frank and relatively honest for a man like Trudeau.
00:27:49.300 He really doesn't seem to care if Donald Trump can't stand him, if Donald Trump doesn't take him seriously, if Donald Trump thinks he's a joker, if Donald Trump thinks he's a clown.
00:28:00.480 Well, that's just the way it is, Justin Trudeau reacts to.
00:28:05.360 And of course, then he has the unmitigated gall to suggest he could stick around for 12 more years.
00:28:12.480 My pop did.
00:28:14.060 Well, if that is in fact his pop, if his pop was Fidel Castro, like some people suggest, Castro stuck around for even longer.
00:28:24.040 So there's the lesson today, folks.
00:28:30.140 If you want Justin Trudeau to give you some relatively interesting, honest answers, put him on a comedy show because he's a clown.
00:28:39.040 That's his natural element.
00:28:41.100 And that's where he behaves as required.
00:28:47.300 So watch that this hour of 22 minutes interview.
00:28:50.380 It's also in the description.
00:28:51.640 Have a look at Paliyev's fantastic Wacko, Wacko's video.
00:28:59.780 I know a lot of other shows are just running the whole thing, but just go to the original.
00:29:04.980 Watch it.
00:29:05.760 It's worth seeing.
00:29:07.580 I thought this is where we need to go with this.
00:29:11.740 Trudeau doesn't take himself seriously.
00:29:13.340 He doesn't take life seriously.
00:29:14.780 He doesn't take the country seriously.
00:29:16.480 He doesn't think any of this really matters except clinging to power.
00:29:20.000 So it's time we just laughed him off the stage.
00:29:24.400 It really is.
00:29:25.440 But they can't come soon enough.
00:29:26.720 But he needs to be defeated in the next election, not to walk away as triumphant, not to walk away undefeated.
00:29:35.120 That's what has to happen.
00:29:36.420 Thanks for watching today, folks.
00:29:37.720 I'll be back again tomorrow at 10 o'clock, 10 a.m. in the morning, as usual.
00:29:44.280 And more information on when the afternoon show will start and what time that will be at.
00:29:50.960 Thank you so much for watching.
00:29:54.140 Remember to resolve, to resist.
00:29:56.240 And we're going to try to give you all the news you need to know.
00:29:59.680 Bye for now.
00:30:00.260 Bye for now.
