00:00:00.000 I've been reminded that if you hire clowns, you get a circus.
00:00:07.840 Yes, and that's what we've been watching all week.
00:00:11.320 Welcome to Stand on Guard. I'm your host, David Creighton.
00:00:14.780 When we come back, Trudeau is going, and I'll tell you where.
00:00:22.060 So we are in a very precarious position in this country.
00:00:25.220 We need political change, but we also need to resolve to resist.
00:00:55.220 So we can continue to beat the YouTube censorship. We appreciate it.
00:01:00.520 Share this broadcast with your friends and family. That's always good, too.
00:01:06.040 So where is Justin going? Am I saying he's resigning? No.
00:01:10.760 And I've said that from the very beginning.
00:01:12.680 Justin Trudeau will not resign of his own free will and volition.
00:01:16.500 He will maybe be forced out, but he's not resigning.
00:01:21.020 And how do I know that? Well, just watch some of the clips I'm about to show you.
00:01:27.080 But here's my prediction.
00:01:31.380 Justin Trudeau is going to flee the country if he hasn't already.
00:01:34.620 And he hasn't because, believe me, that jet, the Canadair jet that flies Trudeau around the world at taxpayer expense
00:01:43.300 is monitored quite closely by a lot of sources.
00:01:46.880 And as far as I can tell here at 830 this morning, and once again, this is not the usual time.
00:01:54.960 I had to come on a little earlier today, but I'm not seeing any evidence that he's gone yet.
00:02:00.300 But he will be gone, not in terms of leaving office, but leaving the country.
00:02:06.100 He's due for his Christmas vacation.
00:02:10.620 We're a week away from Christmas today.
00:02:13.100 One more day left in the House of Commons.
00:02:15.160 Trudeau's gone.
00:02:17.320 He's going to Jamaica.
00:02:18.760 He's going to get out of this crisis by physically leaving it behind him and hoping when he comes back
00:02:26.300 in, what, two weeks in time for the new year, it'll all be over.
00:02:33.260 This is the endless optimism, or one might say delusion, of Justin Trudeau.
00:02:40.780 He really thinks he can walk away or fly away from this mess, come back, and it's all going
00:02:47.360 to be gone.
00:02:47.760 What's he done in the past?
00:02:48.840 Well, every Christmas we know he flies down to Jamaica or somewhere else to get away.
00:02:56.140 One year it was Costa Rica.
00:02:58.300 To get away from things, he'll do the same.
00:03:00.860 If he didn't resign yesterday, don't think he's going to resign.
00:03:07.300 And let's listen to how he's talking.
00:03:09.140 It's crazy.
00:03:11.420 This is a man who is not in touch with reality.
00:03:15.940 And you know, even his own MPs are saying that.
00:03:17.980 But here's what struck me as odd last night.
00:03:20.820 This is Mercedes talking about, if I can read this, Mercedes Stevenson saying, I was supposed
00:03:34.460 to have a year-end interview with the prime minister tomorrow for Global News.
00:03:40.740 PMO just called to tell us it has been canceled.
00:03:44.160 Not just us.
00:03:45.540 Here, and there's across the board not happening.
00:03:52.280 Now, that is interesting.
00:03:54.280 Now, I did not have an interview planned with the prime minister.
00:03:58.020 You're kidding.
00:03:59.680 And a lot of people read this last night and said, oh, he's resigning.
00:04:05.260 No, no, he's traveling.
00:04:07.200 He's leaving the country.
00:04:08.540 He's just telling people, I'm not going to be around for the interview.
00:04:11.020 I'm leaving early.
00:04:12.780 Now, you watch this unfold today.
00:04:14.040 This is exactly, precisely what is going to happen.
00:04:18.940 And if you doubt that, well, my goodness, have a look at the way this guy is talking.
00:04:26.140 But I'm surprised.
00:04:27.160 I'm hearing liberal MPs say exactly what I've been saying for months, that Trudeau is literally
00:04:34.020 delusional.
00:04:34.680 I think it's a psychiatric problem, actually, induced by a habit he has.
00:04:40.580 I won't say that on air, but I think it's induced by a habit he has.
00:04:45.460 And I think there's a psychological challenge.
00:04:51.240 Yes.
00:04:51.800 Well, let's use Trudeau's own words.
00:04:53.780 It's a psychological challenge here for him to actually decipher reality.
00:04:58.480 Behind closed doors, the prime minister tried to calm the chaos triggered by his finance
00:05:04.020 minister's bombshell resignation.
00:05:06.600 Justin Trudeau says he'll consider his next move over the holidays.
00:05:10.340 Not soon enough for some.
00:05:12.180 The prime minister is living in a false reality.
00:05:16.340 He's delusional.
00:05:17.260 About 50 liberal MPs are now calling for Trudeau to step down.
00:05:25.140 That's one third of the caucus.
00:05:27.080 Making matters worse, the liberals were decimated in a by-election last night.
00:05:31.540 He's at minus 38.
00:05:33.700 We lost the BC by-election by 50 points yesterday.
00:05:36.800 We lost St. Paul's.
00:05:38.380 We lost LaSalle.
00:05:41.480 And I think all of these are clear indicators that the Liberal Party will do far better in
00:05:46.060 another election with a different leader.
00:05:48.680 Canadians want a change.
00:05:51.040 Chrystia Freeland showed up at the urgent meeting and was applauded.
00:05:54.560 She hugged the prime minister before she left.
00:05:57.020 It was an olive branch that was sharply different than her resignation letter.
00:06:01.200 She criticized Trudeau for spending on political gimmicks and not putting money in reserve to
00:06:06.420 fight Donald Trump's threat of 25 percent tariffs.
00:06:10.160 Freeland negotiated the last free trade deal with the U.S. under the previous Trump administration.
00:06:15.100 On social media, the president-elect celebrated her exit, called Freeland's behavior toxic and
00:06:21.180 said that she will not be missed.
00:06:23.240 The opposition says all this shows that the prime minister needs to prove he has a mandate
00:06:28.040 to lead the country.
00:06:29.040 And, of course, that's a little out of date.
00:06:32.180 We're up to 60 MPs as of this morning, possibly 80.
00:06:36.960 I saw that last night, actually.
00:06:38.720 80 MPs, perhaps, are going after Trudeau.
00:06:43.760 But let's have a look at the way Trudeau is talking, because, you know, this is the way
00:06:50.920 this guy feels right now.
00:06:53.520 And here we go.
00:06:56.280 Everyone!
00:06:57.280 Well, the prime minister showed his spirit to lead.
00:07:01.460 Like most families, sometimes we have fights around the holidays.
00:07:07.540 But, of course, like most families, we find our way through it.
00:07:12.720 But goodwill is running dry.
00:07:14.840 Sources say about 60 liberal MPs, more than a third of caucus, want Justin Trudeau to step
00:07:21.060 down.
00:07:23.520 So, yeah, that's a hefty number.
00:07:28.820 That's a hefty number.
00:07:31.900 And Trudeau, is he talking like a man who wants to resign?
00:07:35.960 Or is he talking like a man who's going away for his Christmas vacation?
00:07:39.420 That's exactly what he's doing here.
00:07:42.760 And it's all very frightening how he can ignore reality.
00:07:48.360 But that's what Justin Trudeau does best.
00:07:53.660 Now, let's listen to a bit more of his speech.
00:07:56.800 Because, once again, this does not reflect a man who really thinks he needs to resign or
00:08:07.060 be held accountable for the mess he's created.
00:08:10.060 Prime Minister Justin Trudeau appears to be holding steadfast as leader of the Liberal Party,
00:08:15.440 despite a very tumultuous day yesterday in Ottawa.
00:08:18.560 It was probably his worst day in office.
00:08:20.700 Trudeau didn't speak to reporters after leaving a caucus meeting yesterday evening with some
00:08:24.540 of his own MPs publicly calling on him to step down.
00:08:28.080 Trudeau did, however, dress MPs and party supporters at a Liberal Party Christmas fundraiser
00:08:31.940 at the Canadian Museum of History.
00:08:34.500 We now understand that Trudeau is considering his options as leader.
00:08:39.160 That mission to consistently put in the work so that we're living up to our ideals and values,
00:08:46.380 that's at the core of what makes us Liberals.
00:08:51.140 And it's why you show up here, even on the toughest days, as a party.
00:08:56.080 You know that the only thing that ultimately matters is fighting like hell every single day
00:09:09.740 to make life better for Canadians, and that's what you do.
00:09:18.100 Okay, once again, that is a call to arms, not a call to find a new leader.
00:09:26.780 Justin Trudeau is not prepared to leave, and that speech says it in spades.
00:09:31.360 He says this all the time.
00:09:33.400 He really doesn't intend to go anywhere.
00:09:37.720 He's the Sun King.
00:09:39.140 I've said this many times.
00:09:40.600 People keep saying,
00:09:41.820 talk about Trudeau being the Sun King.
00:09:45.460 It's not sunny ways.
00:09:46.820 It's never been sunny ways.
00:09:48.540 That was a ruse
00:09:50.800 to get people to vote for him.
00:09:53.820 Justin Trudeau is all about the Sun King.
00:09:57.780 He believes that Canada cannot survive at this crucial juncture without him.
00:10:03.820 Louis XIV was the Sun King.
00:10:08.060 He was not exactly an absolute dictator, because that was impossible in the 18th century to
00:10:15.880 be an absolute dictator, because the state didn't have the means to control people absolutely.
00:10:21.700 But he had a fairly good grip on his rule, and the revolution that eventually occurred was a long ways away.
00:10:32.100 But Louis XIV used to like to say,
00:10:35.960 l'état c'est moi.
00:10:37.180 I am the state.
00:10:39.240 And Justin Trudeau believes,
00:10:41.460 fervently,
00:10:42.180 in his heart of hearts,
00:10:43.400 as well as in his mind,
00:10:44.900 what's left of it,
00:10:45.800 that he is the state.
00:10:48.380 He is Canada.
00:10:49.540 He is the personification of Canada.
00:10:52.240 He is the embodiment of Canada.
00:10:54.600 He believes that very strongly.
00:10:56.800 And all you have to do is just keep listening to what this man says to confirm that.
00:11:05.380 This is a fascinating interview that Trudeau did right after this whole incident happened.
00:11:14.060 And it shows you where he's thinking.
00:11:16.880 I didn't get to choose this place.
00:11:19.720 I was born here.
00:11:20.680 And I can almost take it for granted.
00:11:22.880 And any time I meet people who got to make the deliberate choice,
00:11:27.940 whose parents chose Canada,
00:11:30.760 I'm jealous.
00:11:31.660 Because I think being able to choose it,
00:11:34.320 rather than being Canadian by default,
00:11:36.320 is an amazing statement of attachment to Canada,
00:11:41.760 which is why I always sort of laugh whenever you see people who are,
00:11:44.600 not many of them,
00:11:45.680 but intolerant or think,
00:11:47.560 oh yeah,
00:11:47.800 no,
00:11:47.940 go back to your own country.
00:11:48.920 Well,
00:11:49.020 no,
00:11:50.180 you chose this country.
00:11:51.780 This is your country more than it is for others,
00:11:55.100 because we take it for granted.
00:11:57.000 We default into this place.
00:11:58.440 And I think understanding that power of building a country that is made of people who chose or whose ancestors chose to build a new life here is really,
00:12:10.500 really exciting.
00:12:11.100 So he's saying here quite explicitly,
00:12:17.560 if you're born in this country,
00:12:19.560 you're less of a Canadian than somebody who immigrated here.
00:12:24.180 What a slap in the face.
00:12:25.800 And of course,
00:12:26.160 that includes Justin Trudeau.
00:12:27.740 He's saying that I'm less of a Canadian because I was born here.
00:12:32.320 This is the same idiot who blamed his blackface routines on growing up in Montreal,
00:12:38.980 because he said the city was just so racist and I grew up in such a racist environment.
00:12:45.040 I couldn't help myself.
00:12:46.400 So he spent decades of his life doing his little blackface routine on the sly.
00:12:56.600 So nobody was supposed to know about it except his good buddies.
00:13:00.360 After high school,
00:13:01.380 anyway,
00:13:01.740 after he did his day,
00:13:03.460 oh,
00:13:03.760 day,
00:13:04.300 oh,
00:13:04.880 for the,
00:13:05.680 for the high school crowd,
00:13:06.920 pretending,
00:13:07.420 I guess,
00:13:07.760 to be Harry Belafonte at that time.
00:13:09.480 But he continued to do blackface until he was discovered.
00:13:14.680 I firmly believe he was doing blackface up until maybe a week before it became a public matter.
00:13:22.900 Does he still do it today?
00:13:24.440 God only knows.
00:13:26.240 But this is a man who thinks he's exempt from the rules.
00:13:30.320 That's one of the key points of being a narcissist.
00:13:32.880 You are exempt from the rules of life.
00:13:36.200 They don't apply to you.
00:13:37.680 That can be very dangerous.
00:13:38.660 That's why a lot of narcissistic people end up as serial killers because they don't think the rules apply.
00:13:46.620 They don't have to obey the law because the law isn't applicable to them.
00:13:51.400 They're above it.
00:13:53.320 I'm not suggesting Justin Trudeau is going to be a serial killer or has been.
00:13:59.060 I'm suggesting he is a narcissist in the truest form of that word in that description.
00:14:06.660 Now, let's have a look at what Pierre Pauly had said yesterday, because I think this is.
00:14:13.320 And by the way, if you're all watching Redacted, I hope you saw Maxime Bernier on there, because I think the free debate is good.
00:14:21.060 They actually did ask me what I thought of Maxime.
00:14:23.260 I said, you know, he's a he's been a friend over the years.
00:14:25.900 He's always worth listening to.
00:14:27.540 We need good debate.
00:14:28.400 But and I don't and I hope a lot of you were able to watch that.
00:14:33.300 But that was not my idea.
00:14:36.360 But I'm certainly I will certainly have Maxime on my show any any time because I believe in free speech.
00:14:41.860 But I also believe.
00:14:46.920 I also believe that Pierre Pauly is going to win the biggest majority in history.
00:14:51.680 Why do I believe that?
00:14:53.080 Because of the results of yesterday's or the by-election in Langley, British Columbia.
00:15:00.340 If you have a look at that and that's of course, that's honest, that's that's that the results of that election are on the thumbnail this morning.
00:15:11.800 Sixty six percent conservative, 17 percent liberal, 17 percent.
00:15:18.240 NDP.
00:15:19.860 This is exactly what I have been saying about where the polling will lead.
00:15:25.620 It leads to the decimation of the liberals in the NDP.
00:15:30.980 They were slugging it out for second or third place, no matter how you want to look at it.
00:15:36.200 The conservatives want a huge majority.
00:15:38.720 This is a writing, a suburban writing in Vancouver.
00:15:42.240 I know the area very well.
00:15:44.520 Huge, huge majority.
00:15:46.900 Sixty six percent.
00:15:48.640 That is almost unheard of in a three party system where you've got and where you've got effectively five parties at times.
00:15:55.620 Especially in B.C.
00:15:58.240 So what does that tell you?
00:16:01.080 Exactly what I've been saying all along here is that.
00:16:06.200 The NDP and the liberals are going to annihilate each other, splitting the vote amongst themselves in the next election.
00:16:13.220 And the Conservative Party of Canada is going to win the largest majority in history.
00:16:17.260 But it could be such a super majority that it would be almost unwieldy because there's going to be so few liberals and NDP elected in this.
00:16:28.780 It's quite interesting.
00:16:30.480 I have never seen the dynamics like this before.
00:16:33.580 Where it's going to be a toss up between the liberals and the NDP as to who finishes in second place.
00:16:42.260 And overall, in terms of seats, the Bloc Cape Icois could actually be the official opposition in the next election.
00:16:50.520 After the next election, because the liberals and NDP could be down to five seats each.
00:16:55.480 I'm not kidding.
00:16:57.700 This by-election in Langley confirms what I've been saying about where the political dynamic is right now.
00:17:05.000 I've spent a lot of time studying polls over the years.
00:17:07.560 As I said, you know, I did political science with Conrad Wynn, who was the founder of Compass Polling.
00:17:14.680 And I'm fascinated by how polling works and what it indicates.
00:17:19.900 And in this case, it indicates a huge mega majority for the Conservatives.
00:17:24.620 And not only that, the complete annihilation of the liberal and the NDP in the next election.
00:17:29.840 This is absolutely fascinating.
00:17:31.600 So don't be concerned about vote splitting on the right.
00:17:37.560 And I don't think that's going to be an issue.
00:17:40.460 The Conservatives are going to win this.
00:17:42.700 And we've got to get beyond Justin Trudeau.
00:17:45.180 We need a new leader.
00:17:47.580 We need a new prime minister.
00:17:48.760 And that's going to happen.
00:17:50.180 I can pretty well guarantee you that.
00:17:52.240 But let's listen to Pierre yesterday.
00:17:56.020 And like I say, I think he was dead on in these comments here.
00:18:00.220 I've been reminded that if you hire clowns, you get a circus.
00:18:09.400 But no one should be laughing.
00:18:11.900 Because there are real consequences for yesterday's chaotic liberal clown show.
00:18:19.780 So these are the consequences.
00:18:22.560 The deficit is 50% higher than we were promised.
00:18:27.040 Our dollar has plunged below 70 cents American for the first time in ages, which means more
00:18:36.020 expensive fuel, food, clothing, and materials for things like automobiles.
00:18:42.960 It means our people will be poorer and the dollars they worked so hard to earn are worth less.
00:18:50.720 The real consequences of yesterday's clown show are playing out in tragedies right across this country.
00:19:01.020 But before we talk about those tragedies, let's talk about this incredible, ridiculous, embarrassing liberal day on Parliament Hill.
00:19:11.620 Let's capture the story here for a second.
00:19:14.920 The world markets were watching to find out the size of our deficit.
00:19:22.560 Remember, Christia Fee Freeland, after helping Justin Trudeau double the national debt,
00:19:28.020 add more debt than all prior prime ministers combined, said we can't go beyond the $40 billion guardrail or else we'll go off the cliff.
00:19:40.340 But throughout the year, with the prompting of Carbon Tax Carney, Trudeau's number one economic advisor,
00:19:50.700 he kept pushing his finance minister further and further leftward.
00:19:56.200 More spending for this or that political gimmick.
00:20:02.020 Listen, yesterday's post by President Trump just shows that Justin Trudeau...
00:20:11.040 I cut it there.
00:20:13.680 I didn't include the question.
00:20:15.160 It was barely audible.
00:20:16.640 But he's asked the question about what do you think about Donald Trump's post on social media,
00:20:24.380 Truth Social, actually, put it up on.
00:20:26.960 Where he again taunts Justin Trudeau as the governor of the 51st state,
00:20:31.900 and he castigates Christia Freeland as being toxic, and she will not be missed.
00:20:36.980 This is Polly's response to that.
00:20:39.000 And his chaotic clown show makes Canada weak.
00:20:42.840 Trudeau's lost control of everything.
00:20:44.400 Lost control of borders.
00:20:45.420 Lost control of immigration.
00:20:46.600 Lost control of spending, inflation, and debt.
00:20:49.200 And Canadians are paying the price for this chaotic NDP liberal clown show.
00:20:56.980 Everyone is laughing.
00:20:58.780 All around the world, Trudeau and the NDP liberals are seen as ridiculous.
00:21:04.140 The price, though, is in smaller paychecks, higher costs, fewer jobs, more crime, chaos, drugs, and danger.
00:21:15.480 But the good news is that Canadians can elect a common-sense conservative government
00:21:21.840 with a leader who has the brains and backbone to face President Trump,
00:21:28.240 who has a plan to unleash the productive forces of our workers and entrepreneurs
00:21:33.940 to bring home our money and defend our economy and to take back control,
00:21:40.200 take back control of our borders, immigration, spending, and everything else
00:21:45.420 so that we can put Canada first.
00:21:49.780 There's a question after this.
00:21:51.980 It was completely ignored by the mainstream media yesterday,
00:21:54.340 which I find interesting.
00:21:55.340 His response, even more interesting.
00:21:58.460 But he's straddling the line here.
00:22:00.280 He's walking a tightrope here by not looking like he's in Donald Trump's pocket,
00:22:06.300 which he's not,
00:22:08.000 and also not looking like he hates Donald Trump and he fears Donald Trump
00:22:12.920 or he thinks Donald Trump is a threat to Canada ultimately.
00:22:17.420 And I think he's walking a fairly straight line here.
00:22:21.540 This is a difficult performance.
00:22:25.120 This is a difficult thing to do for any political leader
00:22:27.880 because he has to enunciate a Canada first policy
00:22:32.200 that is not at odds with Donald Trump as a political leader,
00:22:37.660 but is at odds with American usurpation of Canadian sovereignty.
00:22:46.520 That's the issue here.
00:22:48.760 Polly cannot be seen as endorsing any kind of abrogation of Canadian sovereignty
00:22:54.620 by the United States.
00:22:56.940 By the same token,
00:22:58.600 he cannot be seen as viewing Donald Trump as this evil orange guy
00:23:03.680 who wants to take over the world.
00:23:06.680 Because a lot of the grassroots conservatives like Donald Trump.
00:23:11.320 I like Donald Trump.
00:23:13.700 I like what Donald Trump is doing policy-wise.
00:23:16.760 So I think Polyev is playing this very, very smart
00:23:20.240 and he's very, very careful when he responds to these questions
00:23:25.520 and you can see that.
00:23:26.980 Listen to how he responds to this next one.
00:23:29.500 Thank you.
00:23:29.800 Next question.
00:23:31.380 Ithel Moussa with CBC News.
00:23:33.320 And Mr. Polyev,
00:23:34.000 if you could also answer this question in French as well as English.
00:23:37.140 The government is coming out with a $1.3 billion plan
00:23:40.220 to address border security.
00:23:41.940 Do you think that's enough to stop Trump's tariffs?
00:23:45.920 And if it was up to you,
00:23:47.440 how much specifically would you spend on border security?
00:23:50.840 What number would you put on it?
00:23:52.500 Well, you ask a classically CBC question,
00:23:55.400 which is how much money can you spend on a problem?
00:24:01.360 Well, that's the wrong question.
00:24:03.640 That's exactly the question Trudeau has been asking for nine years.
00:24:07.060 It's the reason he's doubled our debt while making everything worse.
00:24:09.620 For example, he spent $80 billion on housing affordability.
00:24:15.160 Well, how'd that work?
00:24:15.940 He doubled housing costs.
00:24:17.120 He spent $60 million on his gun confiscation.
00:24:22.120 Zero guns.
00:24:23.420 He spent millions on a school food program
00:24:26.800 that hasn't served a single solitary meal.
00:24:30.260 So we should not judge a program based on how expensive we can make it.
00:24:36.240 We should judge it by what it can do.
00:24:39.620 How many helicopters?
00:24:41.580 How many drones?
00:24:43.200 How many boots on the ground?
00:24:45.100 That's the question I will be asking when I'm prime minister.
00:24:48.480 And how do we deliver it for the lowest possible price to taxpayers?
00:24:52.480 Wouldn't it be nice if we had a prime minister who said,
00:24:57.440 we secured the borders, we put more boots on the ground,
00:25:00.960 we stopped tons and tons of fentanyl from traveling back and forth,
00:25:05.260 we arrested the terrorists,
00:25:07.100 we shut down the organized crime,
00:25:09.160 we reduced gun crime,
00:25:10.940 and by the way,
00:25:12.860 we did it with less tax dollars.
00:25:15.800 Very interesting response.
00:25:20.700 Because, of course,
00:25:21.540 in the fall economic statement,
00:25:24.080 there was a paltry $1.3 billion for the border.
00:25:28.820 And, of course,
00:25:30.520 we've learned since then that Dominic LeBlanc,
00:25:33.340 who somehow is going to be the finance minister
00:25:36.360 and the public safety minister at the same time
00:25:38.820 for the foreseeable future,
00:25:42.120 is promising he's going to solve the border crisis with drones.
00:25:45.900 Yeah, and if you've been watching anything on social media of late,
00:25:52.040 you know what's happening with drones right now in New York and New Jersey.
00:25:57.220 But drones are not the answer
00:25:59.200 because they don't arrest anybody.
00:26:01.320 They don't stop anybody.
00:26:02.380 They just simply monitor.
00:26:04.800 As far as I know,
00:26:05.580 there's not a drone yet that can land on the ground
00:26:07.580 and arrest or detain an illegal crossing the border.
00:26:11.480 Not going to happen.
00:26:12.240 So, Trudeau is, again, talking nonsense.
00:26:17.220 We heard Dominic LeBlanc last week talk about,
00:26:20.220 well, we'll roll it out.
00:26:22.020 We'll roll out our border plan when we roll it out.
00:26:25.020 So, apparently, that's all we're going to get.
00:26:28.580 We're down to the wire here, folks.
00:26:31.920 Justin Trudeau is taken off on vacation, just to recap.
00:26:35.400 I can guarantee you that's what's going to happen.
00:26:37.080 He's left a fractured and chaotic caucus,
00:26:43.300 liberal caucus, liberal cabinet,
00:26:46.320 and a parliament that hasn't really functioned in months.
00:26:52.040 We are literally two days and a month away from Donald Trump
00:26:56.660 being inaugurated and becoming the next president of the United States.
00:27:01.840 Do you think anything substantial is going to happen between now and then,
00:27:10.020 given the fact we're on a Christmas break,
00:27:12.180 the House is recessing this week,
00:27:14.940 and Trudeau can guarantee you is traveling?
00:27:17.520 The rest of the cabinet will be taking time off of Christmas.
00:27:25.700 There will be no tangible or realistic plans made from now until January 20th,
00:27:31.460 because the House will probably not even be back by January 20th.
00:27:38.680 And we'll have what?
00:27:41.260 Dominic LeBlanc occupying two of the most important functions of the government?
00:27:45.420 And this man is clearly, increasingly, out of his depth.
00:27:50.840 So this is a frightening scenario,
00:27:53.280 because Trudeau was given an opportunity,
00:27:56.220 was given an opportunity,
00:27:57.320 was given an opportunity to fix the border.
00:28:01.000 And that's all Donald Trump asked.
00:28:02.400 He's done next to nothing to do that.
00:28:05.240 And he's indicated he plans to do next to nothing about it
00:28:09.800 before Donald Trump is elected president.
00:28:12.640 That's very bad news.
00:28:15.300 And Polyev needs to be out there as much as possible,
00:28:18.540 saying Trudeau's days are over.
00:28:21.480 The liberal government is on the way out.
00:28:23.460 I am the next prime minister.
00:28:25.040 You will deal with me,
00:28:26.360 and I'm going to be a credible individual with real policies,
00:28:30.800 real border security,
00:28:32.140 and forget about Justin Trudeau for the sake of the country.
00:28:37.120 You see, what Polyev can do here is flip this thing on Justin Trudeau.
00:28:42.740 Justin Trudeau has been trying to co-opt Pierre Polyev
00:28:46.580 for his team Trudeau,
00:28:50.000 or what Trudeau calls Team Canada.
00:28:52.220 Polyev needs to say,
00:28:53.420 I'm the Team Canada.
00:28:55.060 The policy is Canada first.
00:28:57.900 You'll deal with me.
00:28:59.480 I can deal with Donald Trump as the prime minister in waiting.
00:29:03.900 Don't worry about Justin Trudeau.
00:29:06.800 He's going to be part of history very shortly.
00:29:10.680 So I think Polyev needs to flip this situation over,
00:29:16.680 and he needs to present himself as the prime minister in waiting,
00:29:20.400 who can effectively deal with Donald Trump as a political equal,
00:29:25.180 maybe not quite,
00:29:26.020 but as a viable leader,
00:29:29.880 as a legitimate leader,
00:29:32.900 as somebody who can actually negotiate with Donald Trump,
00:29:38.240 and who Donald Trump would be happy to negotiate with,
00:29:40.460 because he would recognize in Polyev a kindred spirit,
00:29:43.380 somebody who also wants to put the interests of their nation first,
00:29:47.620 and who wants to negotiate honestly.
00:29:50.240 And I think that is what Pierre Polyev needs to do.
00:29:56.340 Just going to show you a quick reminder.
00:29:58.500 Christmas is coming.
00:30:00.140 It's only a week away.
00:30:01.520 Have a look at our show.
00:30:02.960 Ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho.
00:30:06.040 Ho, ho, ho, ho, ho.
00:30:36.020 He's got the Stand on Guard logo on it.
00:30:38.740 Some people are asking about that.
00:30:40.880 As Frank Sinatra used to say,
00:30:42.540 that's class, baby.
00:30:45.360 Yes, these are available now.
00:30:47.780 Have a look at the shop, the merchandise.
00:30:50.340 Order something for Christmas, please.
00:30:52.980 And I'll be back again tomorrow with all the news.
00:30:55.900 You need to know.
00:30:58.460 And let's continue to resolve to resist,
00:31:00.680 because the Trudeau days,
00:31:01.980 Trudeau's days are numbered.
00:31:03.200 They're over.
00:31:04.120 Not in terms of his life,
00:31:05.240 but in terms of his being prime minister,
00:31:07.340 and we will see the end of this liberal government.
00:31:09.640 Thank you so much for being a part of Creighton's Right
00:31:11.940 and the Stand on Guard show today.
