Summary

Justin Trudeau is running for re-election, and he's got a plan to get re-elected. He's running on a platform of blaming everyone but himself for everything he's done wrong in Canada. And he's doing it in a way that makes no sense.

00:00:00.000 Good morning. Welcome to another episode of Stand on Guard. I'm your host, David Creighton.
00:00:06.380 Welcome. It's August 29th, 2024, the dying days of August. When we come back, Trudeau's
00:00:14.000 going bonkers again, blaming Pierre Polyev for everything he has failed to do and all
00:00:22.000 the things he's doing wrong for Canada. When we come back, more about that.
00:00:25.860 So we are in a very precarious position in this country. We need political change, but
00:00:33.080 we also need to resolve to resist.
00:00:49.380 Yes, please smash that like button. It helps us to beat the YouTube censorship.
00:00:55.860 Suppression. Yesterday, believe it or not, YouTube wanted to demonetize that episode
00:01:03.520 yesterday over one word. Apparently one word. I never really found out why, but no, it wasn't
00:01:11.160 anything horrible. It wasn't anything racist. We never used language like that on this broadcast.
00:01:16.600 It wasn't anything profane. You rarely ever hear me use anything worse than damn on this
00:01:22.300 show or BS. But I had to fight all day to get the show back on monetization. It's just incredible what
00:01:30.040 they're doing right now because we're getting closer to that U.S. presidential election. They're
00:01:36.940 clamping down on everything. So please like the station and subscribe if you can because it is so
00:01:44.680 appreciated and helps a small station like this become a larger one. And if you have to resubscribe,
00:01:50.120 please do so. I just want to show you this video again. I showed you yesterday to highlight what
00:01:55.800 we're doing in the store.
00:01:57.900 The alternative is really cold and cruel and small.
00:02:20.120 And here's what I really want to say. This is going to be the classic. Okay. This is the one I
00:02:35.940 really, really hope everybody out there. This is the preamble to the Canadian Bill of Rights
00:02:42.140 authored by Prime Minister John Diefenbaker. Dief had his failings. Dief had his faults in some
00:02:49.680 years, but he was a proud Canadian and he believed in basic fundamental freedoms. Unlike Justin Trudeau
00:02:56.240 and a lot of people today in politics who don't believe in freedom of speech. This shirt should
00:03:03.160 resonate with all of you viewers because this is about freedom to speak freely. That is something
00:03:10.800 we're losing. In the United States, the First Amendment is freedom of speech. In Canada, the
00:03:17.520 Charter of Rights guarantees us freedom of speech. Justin Trudeau is denying us freedom of speech
00:03:22.560 every day. And he's done it with his trilogy of internet censorship, the third piece of which
00:03:30.120 will be back before us in the fall when Parliament resumes, called the Online Harms Act. And I know
00:03:36.460 so many of you out there are as worried as I am about it, but don't be fearful. We know we can fear
00:03:47.020 not when we put our trust in the most high. I will say that. I will say that because I am not going to
00:03:55.220 fear the Trudeau government. I'm going to fight the Trudeau government. I'm going to identify its
00:03:59.400 failings, but I'm not going to fear it. So anyway, have a look at that shirt in our store. You can see it in
00:04:05.020 the merchandise. The store is in the description. It's right on top of the page. When you, when you
00:04:11.680 look at the Crayton's right channel, you can look for store and have a look at the merchandise. Thank
00:04:19.060 you. And I, uh, I'm sorry for taking up your time with this. That's why sometimes you got to be a bit
00:04:25.140 of a salesman, but Trudeau's talking to a labor union group yesterday in Manitoba. And this is a
00:04:34.340 fascinating because remember how he was all, you know, I've, he's starting to at least try to do
00:04:41.020 the Bill Clinton act of, I feel your pain, feel your pain. He hasn't said that yet. Watch him.
00:04:48.300 He might, but he totally forgot to be repentant, to be contrite, to ask for forgiveness for his
00:04:57.260 idiocy and his failings. So he's talking to these union members yesterday in Manitoba and it's all
00:05:04.360 Polyev. Polyev wants chaos. Polyev wants to divide Canadians. No, I'm sorry, Justin. You're the one
00:05:13.720 who wants chaos. You created chaos. We live in chaos. Stop lying about how we're the hot and the number
00:05:20.580 one in the G seven debt per ratio. BS. Stop lying about how the economy is doing so well in Canada.
00:05:27.000 BS. We're last, dead last in the G seven. Those are the facts. You don't tell us the facts, but here's
00:05:33.940 Justin telling us all about how he's for the working man. And I've got some clips later to show you about
00:05:41.320 just how much Justin Trudeau supports working class Canadians or ordinary Canadians. He doesn't know who
00:05:50.000 they are. Being ahead on national pharma care, making insulin free for every Canadian who needs
00:05:56.700 it and providing free prescription contraceptives because we not only believe in a woman's right
00:06:02.920 to choose, we act on it. So this is why he's running again next year, because he's providing free birth
00:06:10.600 control. This is just groundbreaking. This man is nuts. As of last week, our Canadian dental care plan
00:06:19.040 has already helped over half a million previously uninsured Canadians get the dental services,
00:06:26.420 dental care they deserve. And we've been able to do all this because we've been responsible
00:06:35.120 with taxpayer dollars delivering the... Ha! Now that you get that. He's been responsible with
00:06:42.160 taxpaying. He has increased the debt more than any other prime minister. He just had another
00:06:48.380 deficit budget this year, $52.9 billion in new spending, adding $40 billion more to the debt.
00:06:57.580 Now, how is that being responsible with taxpayers' money? He has squandered taxpayer money.
00:07:03.540 This man is just completely oblivious to his own failings.
00:07:07.860 The lowest deficit amongst advanced industrialized nations and the lowest net government debt
00:07:14.460 in the G7. Lie! Lie!
00:07:17.240 These are important victories for Canadians, for the middle class, for working people.
00:07:23.280 And they were made possible by all of you. But union leaders, like all of you here today,
00:07:30.060 also know that these programs can be cut, protections unraveled, and progress undone.
00:07:40.820 Et vous savez qu'il y a toujours eu un parti pour pousser cette austérité?
00:07:45.280 Yes, yes.
00:07:45.900 The Parti Conservatoire du Canada.
00:07:47.600 The Conservatives are going to wreck all of it.
00:07:48.980 I don't need to remind you of the Harper years. You know that those were dark days.
00:07:53.900 Projection again. I'm sorry. What was so dark about the Harper years? You remember when Harper
00:08:01.680 had a foreign policy focused on trade deals with people in the world? Not starting wars? Not joining
00:08:08.660 wars around the world? Not trying to force people to have abortions around the world? Harper was
00:08:14.400 focused on trade deals. Sounds like a pretty good time, actually. And it's a hell of a better time
00:08:19.300 than we're going through right now. These are the dark ages of Canada under Justin Trudeau.
00:08:23.320 And you know that we can't afford to go back. Unfortunately, that's what Pierre
00:08:28.800 Polyev's Conservatives are proposing. Yeah. And Mr. Polyev likes to pretend he has the
00:08:34.940 backs of workers, but I know you're not buying it. You know his record. And you know what he
00:08:41.040 stands for. More precisely, what he has stood for and stood against in all his 20 years as an MP.
00:08:51.260 Wait for it. Wait for it. It's coming. Polyev and his colleagues passed Bill 377, a law that
00:08:57.360 piled on the red tape to stifle unions and bury them in bureaucracy. Probably more about keeping
00:09:05.880 union unions honest, most union members would agree with, because it's the union leadership
00:09:11.980 that's corrupt at times. And taking a page from the American far-right playbook, he's called
00:09:17.900 for right-to-work laws. Oh, that's bad, too. Laws which may have a nice-sounding name, but
00:09:23.400 you know what they actually do. Star of unions are the resources you need to deliver higher
00:09:30.180 wages and better protections in the workplace. Keep trying, Justin. That's what Polyev thinks
00:09:34.660 of unions. That's what he thinks of you. Mais ça, c'est du passé. Il dit que maintenant
00:09:41.660 il est aux côtés des travailleurs. Il affirme d'être un homme transformé. Bien, OK, regardons
Pierre Polyev use you for photo ops to pretend
00:10:15.660 he's a friend to working people. But the truth is, he's a phony. He thinks you're all suckers.
00:10:22.660 He thinks you're all suckers. And Pierre Polyev is the phony. This is a guy who has never been
00:10:32.660 anything in his life except an actor. He's playing a role right now before the cameras.
00:10:38.660 He's been playing the role of prime minister since 2015. And Pierre Polyev is the phony.
00:10:44.660 This is how a man like Trudeau projects everything that's wrong about himself onto other people.
00:10:51.660 And that's exactly what he's doing here with Pierre Polyev. Playing everybody for suckers
00:10:57.660 because he's not buying into Justin Trudeau's agenda.
00:11:01.660 But above all, he's scared of you. Like every conservative before him, he's scared of what workers
00:11:07.660 can accomplish when they organize. We'll see in a minute just who Justin Trudeau is afraid of.
00:11:16.660 It's Justin Trudeau who's afraid of workers, especially if they happen to be truckers. Remember that.
00:11:22.660 He's scared because when workers organize, they demand better. They push to make government work for working people.
00:11:31.660 But most importantly, he's scared of you because he thrives on chaos, on despair, on division, and unions.
00:11:41.660 Who's the guy with the identity politics who thrives on division?
00:11:45.660 Who has created chaos in this country more often than he's created any semblance of unity?
00:11:52.660 Justin Trudeau. This is classic projection. I'm not a psychologist and I don't want to be.
00:11:57.660 But any idiot, anybody with two wits to rub together, anybody with an ounce of perspicacity can tell you
00:12:04.660 that this is a desperate man who's projecting his own failures on Pierre Polyev.
00:12:09.660 He's the one. This is the man who wants chaos. This is the man who's driven division.
00:12:16.660 Unions represent the opposite of that. You're organized. You're hopeful.
00:12:24.660 And you're united in pursuit of one goal to deliver real progress.
00:12:31.660 Okay. Let's do a flashback here.
00:12:38.660 Let's just see how much Justin Trudeau really cares about working people who organize.
00:12:46.660 That's the key word.
00:12:48.660 Remember, he's all for working people that organize.
00:12:51.660 Even when working people organized a freedom convoy to come to Ottawa to demand that COVID-19 mandates be stopped.
00:13:02.660 That they didn't have to take the vaccine because Justin said so.
00:13:08.660 What did he think about workers then?
00:13:11.660 I'm pushing ahead on National Pharmacare.
00:13:16.660 A lot of angry anti-vaxxers there.
00:13:19.660 But there were also mingled in among them some supporters who were feeling perhaps beset,
00:13:28.660 but brave enough to come out and stand behind the side screaming people who weren't wearing masks,
00:13:34.660 threatening all sorts of violence.
00:13:36.660 And in that particular moment where I turned to look over the balcony,
00:13:40.660 there was a group of young women specifically, racialized women.
00:13:45.660 What the hell are racialized women?
00:13:48.660 I think Justin's sowing discord again.
00:13:51.660 Justin's sowing division here.
00:13:53.660 Talking about racialized women.
00:13:55.660 It was okay to wave at the racialized women, but not the so-called anti-vaxxers in the crowd.
00:14:00.660 Remember Justin Trudeau here?
00:14:02.660 And he's just about to say, what will happen to you if you don't take that vaccine?
00:14:07.660 Which, of course, we all know is safe and effective.
00:14:12.660 Who were waving at me.
00:14:14.660 And when I smiled and said, thank you for being there.
00:14:17.660 And yes, greeted them.
00:14:19.660 And they and they cheered and said, thank you.
00:14:22.660 I was talking to them.
00:14:24.660 And it is something that we have to reflect on that.
00:14:29.660 Even in Canada, where, yes, there are angry mobs who are threatening violence and hurling racist epithets.
00:14:39.660 There he goes again.
00:14:41.660 And if you if you oppose his policy on covid backs and the mandates, you were a mob and you were hurling racist epithets.
00:14:51.660 There's no evidence at all for that, because the people who opposed the mandate, especially in the Freedom Convoy, were of all races and religions.
00:14:59.660 I was there.
00:15:00.660 I met them.
00:15:01.660 I shook hands with them.
00:15:02.660 I interviewed them.
00:15:04.660 Justin didn't even leave his damn office to go outside and say hello.
00:15:10.660 That's how aware he was of anything.
00:15:13.660 There are people coming out to stand beside them and say, we support you.
00:15:19.660 Keep it up.
00:15:20.660 We know vaccines are the way through this.
00:15:22.660 Hi, Mr. Trudeau.
00:15:23.660 You just said that you can't let the, quote, anti-vaxxer mob dictate the future.
00:15:27.660 And you also said that you can't back down.
00:15:29.660 But security aside, do you not feel that your attendance at events like yesterday, where the protesters are largely not wearing masks, there is no social distancing.
00:15:37.660 Does that not pose a health risk to you, your security detail and your supporters who were there?
00:15:43.660 Some of them were young, unvaccinated children as well.
00:15:46.660 Young, unvaccinated children.
00:15:48.660 Yeah.
00:15:49.660 Get them all vaccinated.
00:15:51.660 Remember how the national media parroted Justin Trudeau's talking points at every opportunity?
00:15:57.660 These are supposed to be reporters asking critical questions.
00:16:00.660 They're out there supporting everything Trudeau's doing, reinforcing the Liberal Party's policies, reinforcing the Trudeau government's dictates.
00:16:10.660 You can't do more to get these people, Justin Trudeau, than media says.
00:16:17.660 First of all, the idea that those anti-vaxxers were choosing not to wear masks for the protests, but were about to go home or to the grocery store or to visit their friends and wear masks is simply not true.
00:16:32.660 They're going to be putting people at risk wherever they go, which is part of why we're going to make sure the people who choose not to get vaccinated don't get to get on a plane or a train.
00:16:43.660 Don't get to work in the public service.
00:16:46.660 Don't get to, you know, by working with the provinces on vaccine certifications and mandates, don't get to go to movie theaters or gyms or restaurants and other non-essential services.
00:16:57.660 That's how we keep people safe.
00:16:59.660 That's how we keep people divided.
00:17:02.660 This is Justin Trudeau dividing Canadians from each other.
00:17:06.660 You don't have a right over your own body.
00:17:09.660 You don't, you don't, you have no right to say, I choose not to take that vaccine.
00:17:15.660 And you have to subscribe to all of this that he's saying right now.
00:17:20.660 We all know how effective it was to wear that mask.
00:17:23.660 This is pretty well common sense.
00:17:26.660 Now it's pretty well known by everybody that what he's saying here is highly suspect.
00:17:33.660 It's probably all I can get away with saying, but he is the great divider.
00:17:40.660 And actually is part of the choice Canadians get to make in this rest in this election.
00:17:46.660 So that's the choice you have.
00:17:48.660 Obey me or you can't work.
00:17:50.660 You can't travel.
00:17:51.660 You can't go anywhere.
00:17:53.660 You can't go to theaters.
00:17:55.660 You can't go to restaurants.
00:17:56.660 You can do nothing except stay at home and suffer.
00:18:01.660 That is Justin Trudeau's idea of a choice.
00:18:05.660 And that's why it's so important to continue to stand strong and determined on moving forward in the right way.
00:18:16.660 Aaron O'Toole basically said that any of those anti-vaxxers who were protesting
00:18:23.660 could be sitting across the aisle from your 12 year old on a flight south in a few months.
00:18:33.660 Okay.
00:18:34.660 And we all know that former conservative party leader, Aaron O'Toole was a lapdog to Justin Trudeau.
00:18:43.660 He agreed with everything except one little point here about those people sitting across on the airplane.
00:18:50.660 O'Toole had a bit of courage there.
00:18:53.660 Justin, that's not good enough, Aaron.
00:18:54.660 No, you've got to go all 100% my way or it's my way or the doorway with Justin Trudeau.
00:19:00.660 Is he trying to create division or perhaps chaos by saying that?
00:19:05.660 Here he is again, showing you how much he supports working class Canadians, ordinary Canadians.
00:19:14.660 He hated them when they came out to protest his mandates, when they came out to protest his globalist agenda.
00:19:21.660 Nope.
00:19:22.660 You're not welcome in Ottawa.
00:19:23.660 Stay home.
00:19:24.660 Don't come to Ottawa.
00:19:26.660 Let me just underline that close to 90% of truckers in this country are vaccinated.
00:19:34.660 Like close to 90% of Canadians.
00:19:38.660 Over the past many months and years now, Canadians have stepped up to protect each other,
00:19:46.660 to protect our frontline workers, to protect our elders, to protect our young people,
00:19:51.660 to protect people like truckers who are putting food on our grocery store shelves.
00:19:56.660 Canadians have stepped up to do the right thing to protect the freedoms and the rights of Canadians together.
00:20:06.660 Holy crap.
00:20:08.660 How dare this man say that people following his whims and his will are somehow protecting democracy and freedom.
00:20:19.660 We have lost more democracy and freedom in this country under Justin Trudeau than any other prime minister in the history of this country.
00:20:27.660 But here he is dividing Canadians again.
00:20:30.660 And just wait.
00:20:31.660 It's coming.
00:20:32.660 Back to the things we love to do.
00:20:34.660 We know the way through this pandemic is by getting everyone vaccinated.
00:20:42.660 Do you believe that?
00:20:43.660 The overwhelming majority, close to 90% of Canadians have done exactly that.
00:20:50.660 The small fringe minority of people who are on their way to Ottawa or who are holding unacceptable views that they're expressing.
00:21:04.660 Sorry, unacceptable views, because they're not my views.
00:21:09.660 Sounds like he's dividing Canadians again.
00:21:13.660 Do not represent the views of Canadians who have been there for each other,
00:21:19.660 who know that following the science and stepping up to protect each other
00:21:25.660 is the best way to continue to ensure our freedoms, our rights, our values as a country.
00:21:32.660 It's important.
00:21:34.660 So unless you agree with Justin Trudeau, you're not supporting democracy or freedom.
00:21:38.660 You're a fringe.
00:21:40.660 You're not part of mainstream Canada.
00:21:43.660 And I'm sorry, there is no other way to believe.
00:21:47.660 You've got to accept Justin Trudeau's opinion or else you don't matter.
00:21:53.660 And that's exactly why he's projecting all of this on Pierre Polyev.
00:21:58.660 Pierre Polyev left the House of Commons when the Freedom Convoy was in town.
00:22:04.660 I was there every day.
00:22:06.660 It was cold.
00:22:07.660 Pierre Polyev left the House of Commons, left the warmth of the lobby where all the MPs hang out.
00:22:15.660 I used to work there.
00:22:16.660 Yes, they all hang out.
00:22:17.660 They get there.
00:22:18.660 They get their snacks and their free lunch in a nice little area.
00:22:21.660 He left that.
00:22:23.660 He went down the street, down Wellington Street to meet with the truckers and to say he supports you.
00:22:30.660 I support you, he said.
00:22:32.660 It took a lot of guts at the time because, believe me, the mainstream media had no time at all for the Freedom Convoy at the beginning.
00:22:39.660 They were just a bunch of these rude ruffians, truckers, unvaccinated truckers.
00:22:46.660 These were the dispossessed.
00:22:48.660 These these were people who were not real Canadians because they didn't support Justin Trudeau's views.
00:22:54.660 And the media was in lockstep with Justin Trudeau, dividing Canada person from person.
00:23:01.660 And that's what Justin Trudeau was all about then.
00:23:03.660 That's what he's all about now is dividing Canadians and creating chaos.
00:23:07.660 It's not Polyev creating the chaos.
00:23:10.660 Justin Trudeau doesn't give a damn about working Canadians.
00:23:14.660 Justin Trudeau doesn't give a damn about people who have to work hard to put food on the table.
00:23:21.660 He's never had to do that, and he certainly hasn't done that as prime minister.
00:23:25.660 Nobody has taken more time off from his job as a prime minister than Justin Trudeau has.
00:23:30.660 Before I leave you, I want to show you this.
00:23:34.660 People are not buying into Justin Trudeau's feudalism.
00:23:37.660 You've had nine years.
00:23:39.660 Canadians are divided over Trudeau's plan for affordable housing on federal land.
00:23:43.660 Feudalism.
00:23:44.660 Feudalism.
00:23:45.660 That's what it is.
00:23:46.660 I mentioned this yesterday.
00:23:48.660 And people are saying, holy Moses, you're telling me I'm never going to own the land my house is on.
00:23:55.660 And it's leased to a developer who owns my property.
00:23:59.660 Doesn't that sound like the company's store?
00:24:01.660 This is the grapes of Roth.
00:24:03.660 This is the grapes of Roth.
00:24:07.660 John Steinbeck would be upset about this.
00:24:10.660 But this is even worse.
00:24:11.660 This is a return to feudalism where your landlord is the developer who's leasing his land from the federal government.
00:24:20.660 The people are not buying this.
00:24:22.660 This is another piece of divisive legislation from Justin Trudeau.
00:24:27.660 He's the guy creating chaos in this country.
00:24:30.660 He's the guy that can't spend enough of your tax dollars on crazy schemes.
00:24:34.660 And he has the nerve to say to these union members in Manitoba that, oh, we have been so careful with taxpayer dollars.
00:24:43.660 We have been good stewards of taxpayer money.
00:24:47.660 It's all fabricated.
00:24:49.660 It's all an illusion.
00:24:51.660 And Justin Trudeau, I keep saying his days are numbered because believe me, there is even enough common sense in that liberal caucus, that dunderheaded liberal caucus to know that this man's days are over as a prime minister and as a leader of the liberal party.
00:25:06.660 His days are finished.
00:25:07.660 And when he can get up and and and and spout this kind of nonsense.
00:25:14.660 Without even getting red in the face, you know, he is completely unrepentant about the disaster and the catastrophe he has created in this country after nine years of infantile.
00:25:30.660 Complete.
00:25:32.660 Lack of leadership ability.
00:25:34.660 He has completely decimated and eviscerated Canadians in so many ways, but he continues to blame the opposition for that.
00:25:43.660 It's not my fault.
00:25:44.660 It's their fault.
00:25:45.660 They've done it.
00:25:47.660 Always pointing the finger.
00:25:49.660 You know what they say, though?
00:25:50.660 You point a finger at your opposition.
00:25:53.660 And you've got another finger pointing back at you.
00:25:56.660 And that's Justin Trudeau's dilemma.
00:25:58.660 You know, he's he's not stupid.
00:26:01.660 He might be completely mendacious.
00:26:06.660 He might have an inability to perceive reality.
00:26:09.660 But ultimately, he's not that stupid that he can't see the writing on the wall.
00:26:14.660 And I predict he's going to start to see that writing on the wall.
00:26:17.660 I'm going to leave you with this great clip from my good friend.
00:26:21.660 Eva Chippia, if I can find it here.
00:26:26.660 Where are we?
00:26:28.660 Eva.
00:26:29.660 Here we go.
00:26:32.660 When did you and your government start to become so afraid of your own citizens?
00:26:36.660 That's Eva.
00:26:37.660 A wonderful lawyer from Alberta who was representing the Freedom Convoy at the Emergencies Act inquiry.
00:26:48.660 Almost two years ago now in November, I was there covering that every day.
00:26:52.660 When did Justin Trudeau become afraid of Canadians?
00:26:55.660 He's probably always been afraid of Canadians and he always will be.
00:27:01.660 But we don't have to be afraid of him.
00:27:03.660 And that's my message today.
00:27:05.660 Fear not.
00:27:07.660 Because we will overcome.
00:27:09.660 Thank you for watching today.
00:27:11.660 God bless you.
