00:00:42.000 No, here's the fucking news! 0.99

00:00:51.000 Hello there you Awakening Wonders. 0.99

00:01:09.000 Now Joe Rogan has just done the biggest deal in independent media history.

00:01:13.000 He's Survived some of the biggest attacks that the legacy media have ever tried to impose upon an independent voice.

00:01:19.000 The n-word attacks, the horse-paced attacks, the, he shouldn't be allowed to have this audience, why are people listening to Joe Rogan?

00:01:25.000 Hey, that's not fair!

00:01:26.000 Why are you listening to him?

00:01:27.000 We got a newsroom in shiny, I put a tie on!

00:01:29.000 People are infuriated, but there it is, the genie's out of the bottle.

00:01:33.000 It's no question now that Tucker Carlson and Joe Rogan are the biggest voices in independent media and people are losing their trust and leaving legacy media resources in their droves.

00:01:42.000 They're losing viewers, they're losing power, they're losing advertising.

00:01:46.000 Could there be a connection between this decline of trust in the legacy media and the breakdown of neo-liberal values or what Joe Rogan referred to as the lunatic left?

00:01:54.000 I know Joe Rogan, I've been on that show a few times, and I think he's a great person.

00:01:58.000 And I would say that he has what you'd call liberal values, like he just wants to sort of be left alone, doesn't care about people's identities or cultural choices, believes in democracy and representation and voting and all that kind of stuff.

00:02:10.000 So why is someone that the left could have grabbed and turned into a hero rejecting the left?

00:02:16.000 Is it because the left has gone kind of crazy, lost all his values and principles, and doesn't mean anything anymore?

00:02:21.000 Let's have a look at what he said in the framework of this being the most significant voice in independent media.

00:02:26.000 I used to be a part of the blue bubble.

00:02:28.000 I was 100% a left leaning person who lived in Los Angeles.

00:02:33.000 I suppose I was as well.

00:02:34.000 I worked in Hollywood, worked in British media and when I was part of that establishment it seemed kind of ordinary and necessary that your values would be Democrat

00:02:44.000 or Labour or progressivism and for me that was always based on kindness

00:02:48.000 that everyone has the right to express themselves how they want to and I kind of I suppose didn't notice how the

00:02:54.000 rights of people that had traditional values like say Christians were always alloyed to power 0.97

00:02:59.000 structures that were regarded negatively how the framing around pro-choice

00:03:04.000 versus pro-life or pro-gun versus anti-gun were always skewed in the media in a very particular way

00:03:10.000 and how one of the perspectives that we were never offered is decentralization

00:03:13.000 allow different communities to be run differently according to the principles and values of the people that inhabit

00:03:18.000 that community that was oddly never And now you have a left that's taken progressivism into some interesting areas which I frankly don't trust.

00:03:27.000 I don't think the left is all about looking after what they would call vulnerable communities.

00:03:31.000 I think the left is about censorship and centralised liberalized authoritarianism, corporatism and globalism.

00:03:36.000 That's what I think defines the left now.

00:03:38.000 And if you look at the great experiments of the left, Maoism, Stalinism, perhaps it was always this way.

00:03:45.000 Perhaps all of us massively understood that aside from a cultural blip in the 60s,

00:03:50.000 where it's like, "Oh my God, hippies, Black Panthers, women's rights,

00:03:53.000 and the uprisings of trade union movements," 0.68

00:03:56.000 maybe the left has always been about authoritarianism.

00:03:58.000 I don't know. Certainly Joe Rogan's rejecting it.

00:04:01.000 Over time, this is what we're seeing.

00:04:03.000 So over time, you and I, who used to be on the left, are now like, where's the left?

00:04:08.000 Where are you guys?

00:04:09.000 You guys are so far away!

00:04:11.000 I know a lot of people feel politically homeless.

00:04:13.000 A lot of people that would say, I'm not a Republican, I don't think, or I'm not a conservative, or I'm not a right wing person.

00:04:19.000 I mean, what?

00:04:20.000 Are you, if you say, I believe in free speech, I believe in communities being controlled by the people in them, I believe in leaving people alone, I believe in minimum government, I believe in opposing rampant corporatism and extremist capitalism, particularly as it's practiced on a global level, I believe in freedom to worship, freedom to identify, freedom to love, freedom!

00:04:38.000 I believe in freedom, and I recognize that other people's version of freedom might be different from mine, and if I leave you alone, you leave me alone.

00:04:44.000 Is that cool?

00:04:45.000 What's that now?

00:04:46.000 I can't even see you! 0.53

00:04:48.000 You're out of your mind!

00:04:49.000 Even if you look at the idea of Tucker Carlson's recent trip to Russia, it's the left that's saying, well, this is treason.

00:04:55.000 He shouldn't be allowed over there.

00:04:55.000 Russia are the baddies.

00:04:56.000 That's what the right would have said 20, 30 years ago. 1.00

00:04:59.000 He's a traitor against our nation.

00:05:00.000 These are the kind of tropes and ideas that were not of the left. 0.96

00:05:03.000 Authoritarianism, take the shot.

00:05:05.000 All of this emergent authoritarianism in the name of cultural progressivism makes me feel that it was never about freedom, that the left was never about freedom.

00:05:14.000 Certainly, it doesn't seem to be about freedom now.

00:05:16.000 Yeah.

00:05:17.000 Why are you just accepting this?

00:05:18.000 Because it's a noble thing to blurt out?

00:05:21.000 So everybody goes, you're on the right team.

00:05:23.000 That's what it is.

00:05:25.000 Above all, the left used to be about supporting working people against the establishment, whether that establishment was the state or corporations, which were largely believed to have It's not like, oh my god, what are we doing to San Francisco?

00:05:35.000 It's not like, oh my god, why are we letting these violent criminals out of jail?

00:05:38.000 party of working ordinary Americans, ordinary British people now. It's a leist, it's progressive,

00:05:42.000 it's exclusive, it's condemnatory, it's patronizing, supercilious and haughty. They clearly represent

00:05:48.000 professional educated city class people. There's no doubt about it. If you see someone in a

00:05:51.000 white van flying the flag of their nation, the left hates those people.

00:05:55.000 It's not like, oh my God, what are we doing to San Francisco? It's not like, oh my God,

00:05:58.000 why are we letting these violent criminals out of jail? Oh my God, why are we defunding

00:06:01.000 the police? What are you doing? Yeah. You can't say any of those things. You say any

00:06:06.000 of those things, you're a Nazi. 0.78

00:06:07.000 Whatever you think about those issues, the fact that we can't talk about them is the biggest problem.

00:06:11.000 Shouldn't free speech and the ability to communicate be a shared value across all political spectrums?

00:06:16.000 I would say the side that wants to shut down debate are not the goodies.

00:06:19.000 Whatever your view is, if you're like, I believe the opposite to Joe Rogan and everything.

00:06:23.000 Early release for criminals, compassion to people, belief in true reform.

00:06:27.000 Even if you absolutely believe in that, you should be willing to have a conversation about it.

00:06:31.000 We all should be willing to have a conversation.

00:06:33.000 Otherwise, what are we ultimately going to get?

00:06:35.000 We're going to get conflict and fracture and the breakdown of cultural values.

00:06:38.000 And I start to wonder if that is the name and the point of the experiment.

00:06:42.000 Austin people are great people.

00:06:43.000 They're really nice.

00:06:44.000 They're nice. 0.74

00:06:45.000 They're not shitheads.

00:06:46.000 They're not Hollywood people. 0.98

00:06:47.000 They're not lost in this fake world of leftist ideology that everybody's trapped in.

00:06:53.000 They're just people.

00:06:54.000 They're just regular people, man.

00:06:57.000 first went to Florida and met all the people that I work with at Rumble and people that

00:07:00.000 are conservative. They're often Christian, they believe in traditional values and you

00:07:04.000 can ask them outright, "Are you a racist? Do you believe that white people are superior

00:07:09.000 to people of other colours?" And if you go, "No, I don't believe that." Well, what are 0.95

00:07:14.000 Oh, you're a liar, you are a racist. 0.98

00:07:15.000 I mean, if people are being secretly racist, well then, if you're not going to trust anybody's views, what I found when speaking to conservative people is they don't care what I believe in. 0.99

00:07:24.000 They just want, basically, to be left alone.

00:07:26.000 Now, I'm sure we could tear each other to shreds over the right to bear arms or pro-life, pro-choice values.

00:07:32.000 I'm sure I could argue with numerous people on numerous subjects.

00:07:34.000 But the fundamental principle of being able to freely and openly discuss our values, that That shouldn't be up for negotiation because that leads to hysteria when Tucker goes to Russia to speak to Putin.

00:07:44.000 It leads to censorship.

00:07:46.000 It leads to the legitimisation of controlling social media spaces.

00:07:49.000 It leads to government interventionism.

00:07:51.000 It leads to being told things like war is the only route to peace.

00:07:54.000 It's leading to a kind of madness.

00:07:56.000 These blue bubbles where everyone's gone insane.

00:07:59.000 Well, I used to be a part of the blue bubble.

00:08:01.000 I was 100%.

00:08:02.000 I never voted Republican my whole life.

00:08:05.000 I was very left-leaning.

00:08:06.000 Even from a strategic perspective, if you can't get your movement together to get Joe Rogan on your side, you're a mess.

00:08:12.000 Like this is someone that could be going out to bat for the Democrat Party.

00:08:16.000 Hello, I'm Joe Rogan.

00:08:18.000 Here's Gavin Newsom on my podcast.

00:08:20.000 Here's Joe Biden.

00:08:20.000 Joe, wake up!

00:08:21.000 Joe, wake up!

00:08:22.000 But we don't like him. 0.98

00:08:23.000 He's a meathead. 1.00

00:08:24.000 He's an idiot. 1.00

00:08:25.000 Oh my God! 1.00

00:08:25.000 Who do you want to exclude next? 1.00

00:08:27.000 And as I've said to you before, I think it's become an elitist, authoritarian organization that doesn't like working or blue collar people.

00:08:35.000 That's been insidiously creeping in for a while, from Clinton and Blair in our country onwards, and that was enshrined in policy, in our country at least, and in yours.

00:08:44.000 You saw different kinds of financial deals and deregulation took place under Clinton.

00:08:48.000 Basically, ordinary people got abandoned, so the left had to justify that by saying, those people, we should abandon them.

00:08:53.000 And who we're looking after is vulnerable minority groups.

00:08:57.000 That's what it's done, in my view, in order to give itself a moral backbone, which it now lacks because it has no raison d'etre.

00:09:03.000 It has no purpose, because it's essentially the same as any party that goes, we're here to support the interests of big business and globalism.

00:09:10.000 There isn't anything else they're offering except for, oh yeah, we think these groups are getting a hard time.

00:09:14.000 And those groups historically have been getting a hard time.

00:09:17.000 But again, most people are willing to say, you do your thing, we'll do our thing.

00:09:21.000 That, along with an ongoing dialogue, is the only solution to this, as far as I can see.

00:09:25.000 Especially with, like, any social issues.

00:09:28.000 When it comes to financial things, I'm a little bit more conservative, but at the end of the day, I'm way more left than I am right.

00:09:34.000 But California went nuts, man! 0.75

00:09:37.000 It's gone, like, full communist! 1.00

00:09:39.000 It's out of its f***ing mind! 1.00

00:09:41.000 And their approach to law enforcement is so insane! 1.00

00:09:45.000 It's so insane!

00:09:47.000 The no-cash bail, the letting people out for committing violent crimes... 0.98

00:09:51.000 The f***ing, not stopping people for stealing up to whatever money it is. 0.95

00:09:56.000 What is it? 0.98

00:09:57.000 $900 now?

00:09:58.000 I think they raised it.

00:09:58.000 I think they made it a little higher.

00:10:00.000 San Francisco is non-existent.

00:10:02.000 San Francisco, most of San Francisco is emptied out of like big chain stores and big department stores.

00:10:09.000 I won't even do stand-up there anymore.

00:10:11.000 It's crazy.

00:10:11.000 It would be ruined.

00:10:12.000 Amazing and interesting.

00:10:14.000 And again, if someone who plainly speaks to so many ordinary Americans in the way that Joe Rogan does in an unprecedented way can't be reached, that is a barometer that should be paid attention to. 1.00

00:10:23.000 If you're part of the Democrat Party establishment, you should be like, that idiot, then you are unelectable. 0.99

00:10:29.000 I'm in the middle now. 1.00

00:10:30.000 I'm in the middle.

00:10:31.000 I'm in the middle.

00:10:32.000 I never thought I would ever say that.

00:10:33.000 Never.

00:10:35.000 It only happened in this last year.

00:10:36.000 Right.

00:10:37.000 Exactly.

00:10:37.000 I just went, I can't do it anymore.

00:10:41.000 People that you thought were aligned with you are now mad at you about sh**. 0.99

00:10:46.000 They're in a cult. 1.00

00:10:47.000 They're in a cult.

00:10:48.000 It's got all...

00:10:51.000 Marc Andreessen, who's a brilliant venture capitalist guy, explained it to me in very clear terms.

00:10:58.000 Like, what the definition of a cult is, how you can get excommunicated, how you get shamed for having differing opinions, the groupthink.

00:11:05.000 He's like, it's a cult.

00:11:07.000 And he's right.

00:11:07.000 He's 100% right.

00:11:09.000 It's just hard to say, because then people in the cult will attack you.

00:11:12.000 You get excommunicated.

00:11:14.000 You get treated like you're a Nazi.

00:11:16.000 When did this transition take place?

00:11:18.000 Perhaps the most identifiable and obvious point was during the pandemic, when left and right bifurcated at a point when everyone could, and was supposed to, come together.

00:11:28.000 When the cult of wearing masks and taking medicines and posting on TikTok and shaming people And then acknowledging, wait a minute, minority communities are particularly vaccine hesitant.

00:11:38.000 How do we move the pieces around on the board to facilitate that?

00:11:40.000 The point about a cult is an important one because that is where authoritarianism and the refusal to engage in discourse really take hold.

00:11:48.000 If your ideology is quaking, shaky and not solid, then you don't want to engage in conversation because you know that you don't have a robust ideology that can withstand discourse.

00:11:57.000 Ultimately, what's clearly necessary in this age of mass communication is decentralization.

00:12:01.000 Is the ability for communities to be governed differently according to the will of the people that occupy those territories, whether they're physical or online spaces. 0.87

00:12:09.000 The idea that you can now have a country split down the middle with one half oppressing the other half is ridiculous and laughable.

00:12:16.000 The pandemic period was when authoritarianism became normalized. 0.77

00:12:20.000 Initially, well, you have to stay indoors because you're protecting other people.

00:12:23.000 There's no evidence that it protects other people.

00:12:24.000 There's no evidence that social distancing works.

00:12:26.000 The whole argument fell apart and I think helped us to recognize that what neoliberalism in the form of this peculiar new form of leftism was masking was authoritarianism.

00:12:37.000 A desire to control.

00:12:39.000 A desire to signal virtue rather than practice principles and actual virtue.

00:12:44.000 And if the left can't house the biggest voice in independent media, a person who's plainly not a communist because he's just done a massive, massive media deal, who says he's never voted Republican in his life, who clearly speaks the blue-collar America in a way that's unprecedented, if you can't get in alignment with that voice, then your political movement, I would say, is on its way to expiring.

00:13:05.000 But that's just what I think.

00:13:06.000 Remember, we make content every single day for our members.

00:13:09.000 Like our exclusive Tucker Carlson video, you can join us for conversations and ask questions to some of the proper journalists we speak to.

00:13:15.000 So, if you can, join us there.
