00:00:00.000 I'm going to go ahead and get the camera.
00:02:19.000 We're getting to breaking news.
00:02:25.000 We've got a live shot there.
00:02:31.000 Hello there, you Awakening Wanderers.
00:02:32.000 Thanks for joining me today for Stay Free with Russell Brand and what a special show it is.
00:02:35.000 We'll be with you on YouTube for 15 minutes before me and George Janko get right into it in Christianity.
00:02:41.000 Since becoming Christian, I've gotten a lot of ire and a lot of flack from the same legacy media institutions and interests that want to bring down any dissenting voice and don't want any of us to become awakened and powerful, potent opponents of their disgusting project of damnation.
00:02:55.000 Me and George Janko talk about that but George Janko has been a Christian all
00:02:58.000 his life. He grew up Christian, you might know him because he was part of Impulsive with
00:03:01.000 Logan Paul for a while and he talks about the compromises of Hollywood, a subject that
00:03:05.000 I know about. This chat's been up on Locals for a while by the way, that's why it's worth
00:03:08.000 becoming an Awakened Wonder. Without further ado, here he is, George Janko, delving into Christianity.
00:03:13.000 Remember to like and subscribe and to support us in all the ways that you can. Here's
00:03:18.000 George Janko. So I was dealing with with something. For those of you guys that don't know what
00:03:25.000 we're talking about.
00:03:26.000 I was going through his Bible because I Like to determine which Bible I have to make sure that they don't take out important things and I was reading out of a Bible verse It's in Matthew 17, and it should be 21.
00:03:37.000 Yeah, 1721.
00:03:39.000 However, this goes not without prayer and fasting.
00:03:42.000 So basically throughout the gospel, Jesus is like teaching his disciples how to be like
00:03:48.000 him and cast out demons and do all of these things.
00:03:50.000 And so there was one time the disciples are trying and they just can't get this demon
00:03:54.000 out.
00:03:55.000 And then Jesus came and he's like, bounce.
00:03:56.000 And then the demon was like, when it was gone.
00:03:58.000 And he's like, yo, what's up?
00:03:59.000 Why can't I do that?
00:04:00.000 And he said, sometimes you got to fast.
00:04:02.000 And so there's always a position in our life where it's like, man, this mountain, no matter
00:04:07.000 how many times I tell it to move it's not moving at all.
00:04:10.000 And I need it to get out of my life.
00:04:12.000 And so I think what happens is God puts this in our way.
00:04:16.000 So that way, when we tried everything in our life, everyone we know, every position of power, and it still doesn't move.
00:04:23.000 And then we fast and we just give it to the king and say, you deal with it.
00:04:26.000 And then it's gone.
00:04:28.000 There's no doubting where it came from.
00:04:30.000 So, when I go to Bibles, I want to make sure that this is there because usually it's taken out.
00:04:35.000 Read us the verse, please.
00:04:37.000 Oh, I'm so scared of reading in front of people.
00:04:40.000 If you don't mind.
00:04:40.000 And you have such a beautiful accent.
00:04:42.000 You've got a beautiful accent.
00:04:43.000 So, which verse is it, my friend?
00:04:46.000 Matthew, it's going to be chapter 17.
00:04:48.000 So, right on that other part.
00:04:51.000 Are you going to watch the whole chapter, or just that part?
00:04:54.000 No, just read that little bit.
00:04:55.000 Oh, okay.
00:04:55.000 Yeah, perfect.
00:04:56.000 Go ahead.
00:04:56.000 Shall I?
00:04:57.000 And you're saying, is it chapter 17, verse 17?
00:04:58.000 No, it's chapter 17, verse 21.
00:04:59.000 Thank you.
00:05:00.000 No, it's chapter 17, verse 21.
00:05:03.000 Thank you, well done.
00:05:05.000 How be it is, and I'll just give you a bit of a lead into it
00:05:08.000 just for me to get the context, because I don't know.
00:05:12.000 I appreciate that.
00:05:15.000 This is Matthew 17, 20.
00:05:17.000 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief, for verily I say unto you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence the yonder place, and it shall remove, and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
00:05:30.000 Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.
00:05:37.000 So think about that.
00:05:38.000 Imagine why the enemy would take that part out.
00:05:41.000 Imagine describing that you could, with the faith, could have, like you could have a mustard seed of faith and you could tell a mountain to leave.
00:05:47.000 But imagine taking out the importance of prayer and fasting.
00:05:51.000 Fasting is crazy!
00:05:52.000 When you dive into the terms of fasting, like, the first time I actually took fasting seriously, I realized how big of a piece of crap I am.
00:06:00.000 Because when I was angry and tired and exhausted, I was angry and I wasn't acting Christ-like.
00:06:05.000 So it was hilarious.
00:06:06.000 Are we only good people because we're satisfied of what our surroundings are and what we eat and how we move and how we talk?
00:06:11.000 I love that because right now I'm a little bit tired.
00:06:16.000 You know, and I sort of feel that, like, that it don't take too much, like, for my conditions to alter before I become, like, I have to recognize how conditional my good grace is and my will is.
00:06:29.000 And I also like that you're pointing out, actually, discipline is what you're pointing out, and discipleship, you know.
00:06:38.000 One of the things I'm sort of interested in incorporating into my new life as a Christian is some of the sort of practices that I learned while pursuing kind of new age practice, I suppose you'd have to call it.
00:06:51.000 For example, I do like a lot of breath work and a lot of that kind of stuff.
00:06:56.000 You're such a perfectionist.
00:06:57.000 You're going to do such great things, George.
00:06:58.000 I watch it in you all the time.
00:06:59.000 You don't stop, do you, mate?
00:07:00.000 It's good skills.
00:07:01.000 I just want to make sure what you're saying is important.
00:07:03.000 I want them to hear it.
00:07:04.000 It's very good.
00:07:05.000 It's very good to care that much.
00:07:07.000 It's very good.
00:07:11.000 So, like, this particular point, and the fact that you sort of have noticed that people take it out of the Bible.
00:07:18.000 Like, you've read translations, I'm guessing, and you're like, hey, where's that bit?
00:07:21.000 And actually what it's pretty specifically outlining is this is a practice.
00:07:28.000 This isn't just like, as long as you cross your fingers and wish hard enough, Then one day the mountains will move.
00:07:33.000 It's essentially saying if you devote yourself and dedicate yourself and deny yourself stimulation and even nutrition, then a power will come unto you that's previously inaccessible.
00:07:43.000 Amen.
00:07:44.000 I think that's really interesting and it's like, you know, look, when we were having our conversation a moment ago in your podcast, which I can't tell you how much I enjoyed and how beautiful it is to be in the light of you and your partner.
00:07:55.000 Thank you so much.
00:07:57.000 And it's only sort of now that I'm starting to feel what I can actually have to identify as a kind of
00:08:02.000 envy of like seeing you and your partner, sort of what seems at least from my perspective,
00:08:07.000 like, oh, at the beginning of life and to be so abundant and fruitful
00:08:11.000 and please God about to undertake on the journey of having children and all stuff.
00:08:15.000 And I feel like, oh, I felt it.
00:08:16.000 And in your energy and in your enthusiasm, because there are points where I feel bright jaded,
00:08:22.000 So it's interesting that that's come up now.
00:08:23.000 But anyway, in our conversation, when I was talking about Luke 10.18, and like, I saw Satan fall from heaven, the thing that grabs me about that, mate, is the idea that Christ is present at the point when Satan falls, when the phenomena of individualism occurs.
00:08:38.000 And that too, though, is a passage about The apostles or disciples will have just, they've just come back that time from having been casting out demons, and they're enthusiastic, and they go, we did it!
00:08:48.000 We've been throwing out the demons, all 72 of them, not just even the 12.
00:08:51.000 72 of them coming back, we've been throwing... As long as you remember that you can move among serpents and scorpions...
00:08:56.000 When it's because your name is written in heaven not because of stuff you're doing so and this practice here
00:09:02.000 that you're outlining of Fasting and prayer they're both sort of kind of forms of
00:09:08.000 submission in a sense Would you say always and tell me like it is that's like an
00:09:12.000 and like I mentioned myself because I'm bang into Breath work, and I've done a lot of meditation all of these
00:09:18.000 new age things on the way to Christianity
00:09:21.000 What do you think about those Christian practices like fasting and do you think there are other esoteric practices that fit within Christianity?
00:09:30.000 For example, breathwork and forms of meditation.
00:09:33.000 I think we all fall short.
00:09:34.000 No one's perfect, right?
00:09:35.000 So if that's the case, then we're all doing something wrong.
00:09:38.000 I take from all types of religions, I just make sure that I worship the right God.
00:09:43.000 Because their practice might not be wrong.
00:09:45.000 They might be honoring God, and we might be disrespecting God, but thinking we're honoring God.
00:09:50.000 So I try to not think that I know it all, because every day that I read a passage of the Bible, It correlates so much of what Jesus is saying in some form of other religion.
00:10:00.000 And the way I see it is, you see how many doors there is here?
00:10:03.000 Like behind me and behind you?
00:10:05.000 Well, the devil's trick is just one weapon.
00:10:07.000 It's deception and separation and lies.
00:10:10.000 So, he falsely puts doors so you choose those doors.
00:10:15.000 So, as mankind, if I wanted multiple wives, then I'd suit myself into a religion that I could have multiple wives.
00:10:21.000 But that doesn't mean that their religion has things that God's not pleased with.
00:10:24.000 So, my idea is, I can't be a hypocrite, and I could learn from my neighbor, and how they worship, and how they please their Lord.
00:10:32.000 But that doesn't mean that all of their traditions are right.
00:10:36.000 I grew up in a home where we worship Jesus, but we also did a lot of traditions.
00:10:40.000 So I was just kind of like, when I started reading the gospel for myself, I was like, whoa, we shouldn't be doing this, yet we still do this.
00:10:45.000 But they still honor God.
00:10:47.000 So in my mind, I think what the theory that I'm trying to say is, We're trying to mirror Jesus, but sometimes we fall short.
00:10:58.000 And so if I could give grace to myself, then I could give grace to my neighbors.
00:11:01.000 I was watching Jehovah's Witnesses knocking on people's doors.
00:11:05.000 And before, as a kid, I used to be like, whoa, whoa, no, hey, whoa, I'm with Jesus.
00:11:08.000 No, but in a whole different way.
00:11:09.000 We believe he's God and blah, blah, blah.
00:11:11.000 But then I always sat there and I'm like, you know what, God, if, if you're here among us, I go, it's either I'm going in the corrected path or they are, or maybe they have some good things.
00:11:22.000 I go be with me here and have a conversation and open up the eyes and ears to the ones that are closed.
00:11:27.000 And when I sat there with them, I actually learned a lot from them.
00:11:30.000 Now that doesn't mean I have to believe that Jesus isn't God.
00:11:35.000 But the way that they practiced, if it was God, was like a good takeaway from it.
00:11:40.000 And I liked how, when they were speaking to me, they only brought up the Gospel.
00:11:43.000 They didn't speak from their own mouth.
00:11:45.000 And I think a lot of Christians want to speak as their God's translator.
00:11:48.000 Like, you should do like this for fasting.
00:11:50.000 But it's like, well, what does the Bible say?
00:11:51.000 And they have no idea.
00:11:52.000 But the one that they were judging, the Jehovah's Witness over here, would know, and they would be able to kindly explain to you.
00:11:58.000 So I try not to shut off anybody's intelligence, because it might be something I'm thirsty for.
00:12:02.000 Yeah, that's really beautiful and it sort of suggests a kind of hierarchy of principles.
00:12:06.000 And I feel that love is surely the highest principle.
00:12:14.000 And some of the conversations I've been having, because we're meeting of course at the Republican National Convention, And Christianity is ubiquitously available here.
00:12:25.000 Christianity seems that it's absolutely parallel to and practiced alongside Republicanism.
00:12:34.000 But I notice a tendency, it seems, in individuals.
00:12:38.000 I'm not saying this is unique to Republicans, it just happens to be the context that I'm in right now.
00:12:43.000 to, as you have just described, George, utilize Scripture in order to practice judgment.
00:12:51.000 And I'm sure that we're all culpable of that in myriad ways.
00:12:56.000 But if you're trying to work out, what should I be doing if there is conflict?
00:13:00.000 It seems that what you ultimately went for there is compassion and good faith.
00:13:05.000 You know, because there are so many cultural conversations at the moment that seem pretty complex and can get quite condemnatory.
00:13:11.000 People, for example, in the cultural war talk a lot about gender, and I'm mentioning it just because of an experience I had earlier today where Christianity was very much sort of in the atmosphere.
00:13:21.000 We're talking about Christ and Christianity and compassion.
00:13:24.000 But there's a lot of fervour around condemning people that are trans and all that.
00:13:30.000 I know, like, of course you can point to things in the Bible that indicate sort of principles around sexuality and principles around sex.
00:13:37.000 Yeah.
00:13:38.000 But when, like, that moment when he says, like, you know, love God with all your heart, love your neighbours, you love yourself.
00:13:45.000 It seems like, you know, when in a situation where there might be a competing principle, here's the hierarchy.
00:13:51.000 Bam!
00:13:51.000 Yep.
00:13:52.000 How do you think that plays out in the culture, George?
00:13:54.000 Well, my opinion doesn't matter, it's what Jesus' opinion matters.
00:13:56.000 So when I read the scripture and it says, how you measure others is how I'll measure you, that scared the life out of me.
00:14:03.000 So I better be very forgiving, as my Father is forgiving of me.
00:14:07.000 And when they beat him, and they demolished him, they spit on him, and they pulled his hair, and they disrespected him, and then one of the thieves on the cross goes, get down!
00:14:15.000 If you're God, get down!
00:14:17.000 With the power of smiting everybody and the one breath he uses as he exhausts it out of his mouth is, forgive them father for they do not know.
00:14:27.000 And I think what we like to do is read the gospel and be like, I'm David, I'm after God's heart, or I'm just like Jesus, or I'm just like Moses, but the truth is I'm the pagan Roman that hates Jesus.
00:14:37.000 And so the best place that I know is that I'm unwise, I do not know, and I need salvation.
00:14:43.000 So if I need all three of these, why am I not giving it to my neighbors?
00:14:48.000 We're gonna come off YouTube now, because, well, I mean, in fact, almost anything you say on YouTube could potentially be subject to censure, and the fact is that Rumble allow us to stream freely and cultivate a community of believers, people of faith that are willing to oppose the establishment, rather than being rolled over by legacy media institutions, political and geopolitical, and corporate institutions that want you dumb, passive, and staring.

00:15:32.000 Here's a quick message before we get back to George.
00:15:35.000 Three-layer agencies, once symbols of protection and order, are being weaponized against us.
00:15:40.000 We all know that.
00:15:41.000 The FDA, who are funded by Big Pharma, are attempting to classify NMN supplements as a drug, allowing Big Pharma to control it.
00:15:49.000 NMN's a game-changer.
00:15:50.000 Harvard study shows that NMN helps reduce weight, cholesterol, and blood pressure in overweight adults.
00:15:56.000 The fountain of youth, they say, in a bottle.
00:15:59.000 Why do the FDA want to keep it from us?
00:16:01.000 Because I suppose a healthy strong population is harder to control?
00:16:04.000 That's just a theory.
00:16:06.000 Black Forest Supplements have an amazing buy two get one free deal.

00:16:22.000 That's Black Forest not Black Rock or Blackstone.
00:16:25.000 As part of a healthy diet to make you stronger against these systems of control.
00:16:30.000 See ya!
00:16:32.000 Unwise, do not know, need salvation.
00:16:36.000 Yeah, that's a good place to start, isn't it?
00:16:38.000 And I suppose that might... the challenges that I'm describing might come when spirituality gets conflated with political power, but it's quite difficult, I think, when you're dealing with God.
00:16:51.000 Yeah.
00:16:52.000 Not to imagine that that might be the principle deployed when thinking of systems of justice and systems of organisation.
00:16:59.000 What other principle ought there be?
00:17:01.000 And it seems to me that, well again, and this is something I had before I became Christian.
00:17:09.000 I'll tell you so it doesn't sound cryptic.
00:17:11.000 Well, I go like 12-step stuff because of the drinking and the drugs, you know, to stay clean.
00:17:15.000 We have to be members of a community, we have to support one another, and we have to surrender to a higher power.
00:17:20.000 Yeah, some people use ocean and the moon and... All of that.
00:17:23.000 Yeah.
00:17:23.000 But it comes from Christianity.
00:17:24.000 Of course.
00:17:25.000 Culturally it comes from Christianity.
00:17:27.000 Bill W., the founder, was a Christian.
00:17:30.000 It's sort of... and one might imagine that originally it was Jesus and like they Tweaked it for whatever cultural reasons or whatever challenges they were dealing with when they were putting it together.
00:17:45.000 The thing that is relevant to me is that the 12 Steps is an invitation, George, to live, to make yourself ready to receive the message from God.
00:17:55.000 To make yourself ready.
00:17:56.000 Because you have been living a life of worship and devotion.
00:18:00.000 You have been worshipping and devoted to Alcohol and drugs.
00:18:04.000 That is your God.
00:18:05.000 Look at how you've been behaving.
00:18:06.000 It took me a long time to realize, if someone told me to turn up at 7 to score, that's a colloquialism that used to be relevant when I was a young man, like to score drugs.
00:18:18.000 Like, I would turn up, and if the drug dealer was late, I would wait.
00:18:23.000 And if the gear I got, there's another colloquialism, was not good gear, I would still go back to that.
00:18:29.000 I had a lot of faith, and I had a lot of devotion, and a lot of dedication.
00:18:33.000 So I started to recognise as I got, you know, as things became clear, and as the alcoholism and the addiction began to sort of settle, and I maybe even moved beyond its most obvious expressions, that I had The raw ingredients for the devoted life, almost like I'd been created, in fact, to live a devoted life, and I'd been sort of misdirected by a culture that tries to direct you towards material ideas, but— Made to worship.
00:18:54.000 Made to worship.
00:18:55.000 Hallelujah.
00:18:56.000 Amen.
00:18:57.000 But, like, this is the thing I wanted to say, is that there's sort of this tendency in 12-step sort of circles and I wonder if you find the same thing to be true in Christianity and I'd love to hear what you think that if we're not careful our spiritual life under the surface we're doing it in order that we might achieve something in the context of secular society maybe and it could be something that's sort of relatively desirable or even laudable or if I do this I'll get a better job maybe I'll get a boyfriend or girlfriend or wife or husband or whatever
00:19:28.000 And I noticed in the culture that I'm not getting clean from drugs and alcohol so that I can fit.
00:19:33.000 Because if you're a drug addict, of course, you're in the back of your mind thinking, oh, maybe then I'll get a job, or maybe then I'll get a girlfriend, because I'm not going to do that as a heroin addict.
00:19:40.000 But actually, you're being prepared for the spiritual life.
00:19:43.000 I wonder, is it similarly true, George, that you could devote yourself to the path, but in the back of your mind, there's a false idol behind it?
00:19:50.000 Absolutely.
00:19:50.000 Pharisees, when Jesus was like, you guys are so concerned of your outer cup that you have no concern of your inner cup.
00:19:56.000 And I see that a lot in church.
00:19:58.000 I look at church and I see a lot of people that slap Christian names on themselves.
00:20:02.000 I'll give you an example myself.
00:20:04.000 I was Christian.
00:20:04.000 I grew up in a Christian home.
00:20:05.000 But if my actions didn't show that I was Christian.
00:20:08.000 My beliefs didn't show that I was Christian.
00:20:10.000 That's why they said the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom.
00:20:13.000 I started making better decisions because I feared of disappointing the Lord.
00:20:17.000 And then my actions followed my tongue.
00:20:19.000 But there's levels to this.
00:20:20.000 People think it's your mindset and then your mouth that leads.
00:20:23.000 I think there's higher.
00:20:25.000 There's a spiritual realm.
00:20:26.000 There's two that you could follow.
00:20:27.000 Say inner God.
00:20:28.000 And then when you accept that spiritual realm, then it goes into your mind.
00:20:31.000 And then you have to sit there and think about it.
00:20:33.000 And then your next step is your mouth.
00:20:34.000 Life and death begins at your tongue.
00:20:36.000 There's so many things that we gotta practice.
00:20:38.000 You have to be disciplined in it.
00:20:40.000 So, all of this being said, absolutely, there are so many people that believe that they're Christian, but that's why Jesus says that the time will come where you come in front of me and I say, I do not know you.
00:20:51.000 And they'll say, I casted out demons!
00:20:53.000 I did this!
00:20:54.000 I did this!
00:20:55.000 And he goes, you didn't know me and I didn't know you.
00:20:58.000 But that transsexual over there, I knew him.
00:21:00.000 And a lot of Christians are going to get mad about that.
00:21:03.000 A lot of Christians are going to go, how dare you?
00:21:04.000 Well, here's the truth.
00:21:05.000 They have identity issues, but so do we.
00:21:08.000 And if you don't know who you are, it's probably because you did not know who your creator is.
00:21:12.000 So of course you're lost.
00:21:13.000 If I broke down a Ferrari, I'm not taking it to Honda.
00:21:16.000 Because they'll open up the hood and be like, I have no idea what's going on in here.
00:21:19.000 But I bet who's somebody who wants to make money and make profit and make a fool of yourself being like, yeah, you gotta change this and this and they'll screw you and then you'll leave and now you thought you solved the problem, but it's not it's actually worse and in two weeks they'll fall apart.
00:21:32.000 We like to give ourselves false medicine and think that it's good.
00:21:35.000 It's a placebo effect, but lies always catch up as soon as truth arrives.
00:21:39.000 And that's why Jesus describes himself as light.
00:21:41.000 You can't run away from the light.
00:21:42.000 Even darkness can't run away from the dark.
00:21:44.000 You know what I mean?
00:21:45.000 I think that's a really beautiful analysis, and I was struck, mate, when you were saying that, that indeed, as Christians, we believe He's coming again.
00:21:54.000 He's coming again.
00:21:55.000 And it is difficult to imagine that when the risen Christ returns, that He's going to go, these people can fuck off!
00:22:04.000 That's not going to be the deal!
00:22:05.000 Think about the Sermon on the Mount.
00:22:07.000 He picked a ragtag group of people, and He was describing things, and He was saying, I'm going to base this kingdom off of you humans.
00:22:15.000 There is a beautiful thing in that where he says, the pure of heart will see God.
00:22:19.000 And I think that the closer that you are to God and the more you obey, the more that you could see His presence.
00:22:24.000 Let me give you an example.
00:22:25.000 You can't see the wind, but you can see what the wind does.
00:22:29.000 How's that?
00:22:29.000 So you don't believe in the wind because you can't see it?
00:22:32.000 But if it's blowing, your hair is magnificent in the air.
00:22:35.000 What's that?
00:22:36.000 But you could see it, now you believe it.
00:22:38.000 Sometimes you really, really have to have faith.
00:22:41.000 And I think this is the truth of it.
00:22:43.000 I think all of us serve a generous God.
00:22:47.000 And if you don't know who God is, it's because you didn't invite him into your life.
00:22:50.000 He's a gentleman at the door waiting for you.
00:22:52.000 But the devil sneaks through your windows and corrupts your family.
00:22:56.000 And all you gotta do is listen to the... And watch how Satan will run away.
00:23:02.000 Hello.
00:23:03.000 I'm just at the window.
00:23:06.000 Lucy, get out of here!
00:23:07.000 I'm just popping in.
00:23:10.000 I noticed that you seem very low on breakfast cereal.
00:23:13.000 Perhaps I could come in and replace it for you.
00:23:16.000 Just insidiously sneaking in like a fog or a gas.
00:23:20.000 This idea, though, even with the illustrative example there, George, of the wind, where, you know, like, we witness the impact and the effects of wind if we cannot see wind itself.
00:23:33.000 But, of course, ultimately, when we're tracking and registering the presence of wind, it's like, oh, because, yeah, what blew the hair about or blew the leaves around, we can see its impact.
00:23:44.000 And I've sort of felt like similar things.
00:23:46.000 But when they're indeed trying to understand and appreciate quantum physics or dark matter or dark energy, they're like, we don't know what this is, but it's as if there's some other phenomena or some other force there.
00:23:57.000 When I'm thinking about and dealing with the idea of faith, I'm aware of something that seems on the dimension that I live on that has, subjectively in my experience of it, a real fragility.
00:24:09.000 I think that's why I'm addicted to performing, man.
00:24:13.000 There's a brilliant line that people talk about a lot in the film called Chariots of Fire, which is about sort of early... Oh, you'd like it!
00:24:19.000 You'd like it!
00:24:20.000 It's like about the sort of early runners and early Olympics and all this kind of stuff and there's one runner who won't do a race because he's a Christian and it's on Sunday and he's like, I ain't doing that.
00:24:29.000 Like, you know, I love for God.
00:24:31.000 Why do you do the running?
00:24:32.000 Why do you do the running then?
00:24:33.000 He goes, because when I run, I feel his pleasure.
00:24:35.000 When I run, I feel his pleasure.
00:24:37.000 Not my own pleasure.
00:24:38.000 Isn't that beautiful?
00:24:40.000 Anyhow, I feel like on stage, mate, that is the place where faith, because I'm so scared of performing in front of people, I feel so exposed and terrified about it, that the process that I've had to undergo, and have always had to undergo, and even when I was a kid, when I first started doing it, I was like, oh my god, I'm so frightened, I don't know how to do it.
00:25:02.000 I learned prayer.
00:25:03.000 I learned prayer.
00:25:04.000 No one taught it to me, because it just wasn't around.
00:25:08.000 But I'm on my knees, involuntarily, because I'm puking and defecating and stuff like that.
00:25:14.000 Confessing it, yeah.
00:25:15.000 Yeah, yeah.
00:25:15.000 This stuff happened organically and naturally.
00:25:17.000 And then on the stage, in performance, That's where I feel it.
00:25:21.000 That's where I feel faith.
00:25:22.000 And then it's harder for me to actually practice it in life, off stage, off camera, in reality, to sort of trust the gentle threads of faith, to be present to something that is like the wind, mysterious, mercurial, unknowable, only known by its impact, not by the thing itself.
00:25:39.000 To sort of live in faith, for me, takes a constant reassessment In the moment.
00:25:45.000 Like I go back to self.
00:25:46.000 I feel it.
00:25:46.000 I feel the magnetism, the polarity.
00:25:48.000 I feel the polarity moving away from transmit light, serve, transmit light, serve, be of service, to back to the sort of black hole, the infolding vortex of suck stuff in.
00:26:02.000 Three things.
00:26:03.000 One, when Jesus was in battle with Lucifer, he always says, it is written.
00:26:08.000 And that's how he defeated him, because he knew the gospel.
00:26:11.000 Therefore, teaching us to defeat those dark feelings, you must know who your father is.
00:26:17.000 And the closer you have a relationship with your father or your friend, the more you have faith in them, by watching them work.
00:26:23.000 It's not wrong of you to not have faith in God if you've never seen him work.
00:26:26.000 It makes you have common sense if you've never seen him work.
00:26:29.000 Two, when Jesus was walking around, there was a woman who was completely sick, and she says, if I just touch him, I will be healed.
00:26:37.000 And when he was walking, she touched his cloth, and power left him and healed her.
00:26:44.000 And he turned around and he said, who touched me?
00:26:46.000 And she got scared and she goes, it was me.
00:26:49.000 She goes, I knew that if I touched you, I'd be healed.
00:26:52.000 And he kneeled over to her and he said, it was your faith that healed you.
00:26:57.000 Later on in the gospel, you notice that the disciples are walking on water towards Jesus.
00:27:01.000 And they're walking above water.
00:27:03.000 A lot of times when we're scared and we're overwhelmed, we feel like we're drowning.
00:27:07.000 But he never drowns.
00:27:09.000 He walks closer and closer to God.
00:27:11.000 And the time he sinks is when he takes his eyes off of Jesus and onto his problems.
00:27:17.000 Faith is something you have to practice.
00:27:20.000 He says, seek and you shall find, knock and the door shall be opened, right?
00:27:23.000 And he also says, whatever you believe and you have faith in, it shall be.
00:27:27.000 That doesn't mean just in God.
00:27:29.000 If I have faith that I'm going to ruin tomorrow's stage performances, if I believe it enough, I will ruin it.
00:27:35.000 If I believe that that woman is gonna go towards God, and I really pray, and I fast, and I believe, that woman will go to God with me.
00:27:42.000 Is there a woman over there?
00:27:43.000 Her name's Shauna Della Rica, she's right over there.
00:27:45.000 That's Shauna?
00:27:45.000 Shauna, yeah.
00:27:46.000 She's still there?
00:27:47.000 Because I thought, like, you were just pulling people, like, imaginary... George, there's no one over there!
00:27:53.000 You don't have a girlfriend!
00:27:54.000 This has been a dream!
00:27:55.000 I have a fiancé, sir.
00:27:58.000 You made a pledge, huh?
00:27:59.000 Yes, sir.
00:27:59.000 Congratulations.
00:28:00.000 Thank you.
00:28:01.000 But all that being said is, you really, really could come forth anything you believe in.
00:28:05.000 And I think if you start noticing, if you watch people's patterns, the people that are depressed are always talking about their problems.
00:28:11.000 The people that are excited about life are talking about what they're excited about.
00:28:14.000 Life and death begins on your tongue.
00:28:16.000 If my child is being raised in front of me and he starts talking negatively, I'm impacting that kid immediately.
00:28:22.000 Being like, brother, you are made in Jesus Christ's image.
00:28:27.000 They said, let us make man in our image.
00:28:29.000 How did they create?
00:28:31.000 They spoke it into existence.
00:28:33.000 Let there be light.
00:28:33.000 Boom!
00:28:34.000 There's light.
00:28:34.000 Scientists say everything is vibrating.
00:28:36.000 Of course it is.
00:28:37.000 Go look at our recording.
00:28:39.000 It's vibrations.
00:28:41.000 A lot of people think I'm speaking this into the world and it's coming back.
00:28:45.000 No, it's not.
00:28:45.000 Jesus said this 2,000 years ago.
00:28:47.000 Life and death begins on your tongue.
00:28:49.000 You're negative?
00:28:50.000 It's because you speak negative.
00:28:51.000 You chose to listen to your negative thoughts instead of having faith.
00:28:55.000 So go ahead, be there.
00:28:56.000 And remember, the only thing that Jesus did that is harmful to man is saying, if you don't want me in your life, peace.
00:29:04.000 So if you want to go gather in the dark, go gather in the dark.
00:29:07.000 You asked for that.
00:29:08.000 That's why it's an invitation.
00:29:10.000 I'm inviting you to come into the light.
00:29:12.000 And once you're in the light, what do you want to do?
00:29:14.000 When you have something delicious, when you have something grand, and it's unlimited, are you going to be, oh, this is all for me?
00:29:20.000 No, it's unlimited.
00:29:20.000 You're going to go run and tell your neighbors.
00:29:22.000 Come.
00:29:24.000 There's a ball.
00:29:25.000 You could come eat and drink and live and breathe.
00:29:29.000 But people are so, so, so certain on earthly possessions.
00:29:32.000 I want a car, I want a house, I want to be the biggest actor, I want to be the biggest stand-up, I want money.
00:29:37.000 Great, worship that.
00:29:38.000 Where does that all go?
00:29:39.000 To death.
00:29:40.000 So you are worshipping and moving to death.
00:29:43.000 That's why he says, I am the way, I am the truth, I am the life.

00:31:08.000 When do you think that you started to move away from, because I understand now some of your story, that you grew up in a Christian home, but I know that you also Had dalliances with celebrity and all that that world entails.
00:31:26.000 Can you tell me a little bit of your return to faith and how your relationship with it changed, mate?
00:31:31.000 Yeah, it was a beautiful thing.
00:31:33.000 I grew up in a house that was for Jesus.
00:31:36.000 My mom would tuck me into bed and say, I love you so much more than anything.
00:31:39.000 And I'd go, more than God?
00:31:40.000 She goes, never.
00:31:42.000 And she says, and you will never love me more than God.
00:31:45.000 And so she poured this Holy Spirit onto me, and so I grew up with it.
00:31:49.000 Some kids are born rich, and people are like, wow, they're so lucky.
00:31:52.000 I was born more lucky than any man.
00:31:54.000 I was born with two parents that teach me about my Lord and Savior.
00:31:57.000 And that gave me life.
00:31:59.000 Even through my darkest moments, I carried it like it was nothing.
00:32:01.000 I walked on that water.
00:32:02.000 I jogged on that water.
00:32:04.000 But then you're telling me I walk away, I handle everything on my own, I'm rich and famous now, and I want to kill myself?
00:32:11.000 That doesn't make sense.
00:32:12.000 How did I have nothing before, and have the best time in the world, and then now everything that I've ever dreamt about, and I'm sad and depressed, is because I exited out the only piece of Prince in my life.
00:32:23.000 And so I said, hold on, hold on.
00:32:24.000 God, I don't want this.
00:32:25.000 If you want me to be here, you have to be present with me or I don't want any of this.
00:32:29.000 And it's so funny because people don't want to ask this because they're scared of letting go of what they have.
00:32:34.000 Have you ever seen that little picture of the little girl holding a beat up bear and then Jesus is holding a beautiful one behind them?
00:32:41.000 It's hard to fathom that God actually wants to give you more than what you even are asking for.
00:32:47.000 But it's your own ego that searches for death than to search for Jesus that is life.
00:32:53.000 So I was just scared and I was terrified and I was like exhausted of this life.
00:32:58.000 And I said, you know what?
00:32:59.000 I don't even care if she walks out of my life and my career goes to nothing.
00:33:02.000 I go, I want you.
00:33:03.000 And as soon as I confessed that and I did the Bible verse that says, seek first the kingdom and all of this righteousness.
00:33:10.000 Then all of a sudden I became peaceful.
00:33:11.000 And then I started dipping back and forth.
00:33:13.000 Why?
00:33:14.000 I'm with God.
00:33:15.000 I'm in his presence.
00:33:15.000 I'm on my own.
00:33:16.000 I got everything.
00:33:17.000 Alright, so the truth is I figured it out mathematically and with like, if you have a video, you look at the analytics of it.
00:33:25.000 Okay, well every time I'm down, I'm believing in myself and earthly things.
00:33:30.000 And every time I'm high up and I'm peaceful is when I'm in his presence.
00:33:33.000 And so when I read that Bible verse that, think about it, Peter was always gung ho for Jesus, but he sunk as soon as he got scared.
00:33:42.000 And immediately my life changed when a woman told me, every time that you have fear, just picture yourself bowing in the presence of Lucifer.
00:33:51.000 I won't give him that satisfaction.
00:33:53.000 He could take my life before I worship him.
00:33:56.000 So if I have fear, I'll get on my knees right there and I'll ask God, I don't care if this causes me death.
00:34:01.000 I won't worship Satan.
00:34:02.000 I won't.
00:34:03.000 So give me faith.
00:34:05.000 And I don't just walk on water, I run on water.
00:34:07.000 So that way when my fellow brothers and sisters that are having no faith, they see my fruit, it's not my fruit, it's His fruit, it's undeniable.
00:34:14.000 Even atheists and people that don't believe in God go, how is this possible?
00:34:18.000 There was gentlemen that were asking me, how did this happen?
00:34:20.000 I go, it's all Jesus Christ.
00:34:21.000 That's why when the guy's holding the award and he says, it's all Jesus, before you're like, ah, this PR team told him to say that.
00:34:27.000 But the truth is, it's not.
00:34:29.000 All of my works, even having this relationship with you, even having the opportunity to be in this interview, that wasn't because of my works.
00:34:35.000 I was in this industry for 10 years and nothing happened to me.
00:34:37.000 But the one year that I gave it all to Jesus and said, I don't care where this goes, it's the biggest and most blessing of my years, and I have peace.
00:34:47.000 I'm going to go share it with the world.
00:34:49.000 Not because I prosper off of it.
00:34:50.000 It's because the first is last and the last is first.
00:34:55.000 So if me and you have an unlimited supply of meals and drinks, are you and I just going to sit here in an empty place?
00:35:03.000 Or are we going to go run and tell our neighbors, come, the king has arrived.
00:35:10.000 In that analogy, you know, the sort of the bear analogy, it sounds like with your description of your childhood, it sounds very beautiful, George, that you were raised in the light of the Lord.
00:35:24.000 And I wonder how you came to turn away from that light.
00:35:28.000 And what I mean is in a sort of a very literal way.
00:35:31.000 What was it that was more seductive than that?
00:35:35.000 Why is it that we're not here discussing you going, Brought up to love Jesus, I carried on loving Jesus and I love Jesus now.
00:35:44.000 Seems that there was some interruption and disruption and you sort of casually mentioned that you wanted to kill yourself.
00:35:49.000 So I wonder what that, can you tell me what that was?
00:35:54.000 Say for example when I was chatting with Jonathan Rumi, he tells me, and it's always funny talking to him because he's played Jesus and stuff and I have to keep forcing him out of my mind, like I'm not going to let you be Jesus in my brain.
00:36:06.000 I will not have it.
00:36:07.000 It's like, you know, I'm doing my own Jesus up there.
00:36:09.000 He tells me that there was a moment in his life, and he describes it, that, you know, he was destitute, he was broken, he was desperate.
00:36:16.000 He said, you know, it's similar to you.
00:36:18.000 It's the same in some ways.
00:36:19.000 Right, Jesus, you take all of it.
00:36:21.000 And it's a story you hear again and again.
00:36:22.000 People saying, you know, and even my own experience of coming to Christ.
00:36:25.000 Wrestling with Jacob.
00:36:26.000 Yeah, like they're sort of surrendered to it.
00:36:29.000 But could you tell me, what was your experience?
00:36:32.000 Because a lot of people that have the conversion experience don't have, or I don't know, I mean I don't know what the bloody demographics are, but I've not heard that before.
00:36:40.000 I've not heard someone say, I brought up and I knew I loved Christ, But then I did this other thing.
00:36:45.000 Can you tell me why the turn away?
00:36:47.000 Is it a conscious decision?
00:36:48.000 Is it inadvertent?
00:36:49.000 Is it the seductiveness of power?
00:36:50.000 I suppose you do hear in Kings, like a lot of, like he, you know, David himself, but then sort of subsequent Kings that are in there, like Solomon, like ending up with all them concubines and everything.
00:36:59.000 He got sort of sucked right into it.
00:37:00.000 Forgive the word sucked.
00:37:02.000 But like, you know, like, you know, can you tell me how that happened and what the return is?
00:37:06.000 And a bit about the suicide.
00:37:07.000 Okay, so if you see an evil man doing evil things, he doesn't wake up going, I can't wait to ruin everybody's life.
00:37:14.000 I think that even the psycho people think that what they're doing is good.
00:37:17.000 And so every day, the dilemma is, there's two deities, right?
00:37:23.000 There's God, and then he gave us Lucifer to decide, are you going to pick me, or are you going to pick you?
00:37:30.000 And so every day I wake up, I have to fight myself on my ego.
00:37:34.000 Every day.
00:37:35.000 And every Christian man would.
00:37:37.000 The truth is, I got comfortable.
00:37:40.000 There's a joke I heard when I was a kid and there was two demons.
00:37:44.000 One had this man who was doing drugs.
00:37:46.000 He was having sex.
00:37:47.000 He was having all these bad things.
00:37:49.000 Raging.
00:37:50.000 And then there's this other demon that came up to him.
00:37:52.000 He's exhausted.
00:37:53.000 He goes, dude, what are you doing, man?
00:37:55.000 How are you doing?
00:37:56.000 Look at this guy.
00:37:57.000 And then his guy is sitting there praying to Jesus.
00:37:59.000 And he's like, oh, he's like, come on, dude.
00:38:01.000 Like, how did you do it?
00:38:02.000 You got to tell me.
00:38:02.000 He goes, bro, you're doing too much.
00:38:04.000 Just make him lazy.
00:38:06.000 When somebody gets comfortable and they get lazy and they don't need a stride, sometimes they get comfortable and they're like, they don't need God.
00:38:12.000 So there's different verticals.
00:38:13.000 There's some people that have opened that door to Lucifer because of their own ego, or some people are in need of something really bad.
00:38:20.000 Like, how many times have you seen a good mother make a bad decision?
00:38:23.000 But because she's in fear.
00:38:25.000 And so sometimes fear is what causes you to walk towards that path, and you shouldn't.
00:38:29.000 So it's not a lot that these people are bad.
00:38:32.000 That's why Jesus says, forgive them for they don't know.
00:38:34.000 If they knew what their salvation was, if they knew how much grace they had, if they knew what the word was, they wouldn't walk in fear because they would know it.
00:38:43.000 But they don't know, and so Lucifer is jumping on them.
00:38:47.000 You gotta remember, the devil himself knows the gospel forward and backwards, so he's going to challenge you on his words.
00:38:54.000 That's why when God and the devil fought, they didn't fist fight, they used scripture bases.
00:39:01.000 Do you get what I'm saying?
00:39:03.000 Do you mean in the wilderness, in the desert?
00:39:05.000 Yeah.
00:39:05.000 He says, well, why don't you turn this rock into bread?
00:39:08.000 Because it says that.
00:39:09.000 Because Moses did it.
00:39:11.000 Why don't you?
00:39:12.000 Yes.
00:39:12.000 And he says it is written.
00:39:14.000 I feel like I can play that guy.
00:39:16.000 You know, when we were doing your podcast, you were talking about acting.
00:39:19.000 And I was like, no, I don't think so.
00:39:20.000 I'm over that stuff.
00:39:21.000 But whenever we're talking about the Lucifer, I go, oh, I feel like there's sort of something rather appealing about sort of the kind of campness of Satan.
00:39:31.000 Insidiously creeping in the wind.
00:39:32.000 Why don't you turn those stones into bread?
00:39:34.000 Why don't you jump?
00:39:36.000 The Lord will save you.
00:39:37.000 Like I've so far... I mean, the devil is attractive.
00:39:40.000 The devil's gonna be an attractive figure.
00:39:41.000 What was he the angel of?
00:39:43.000 Light!
00:39:44.000 Nope.
00:39:45.000 Beauty and music.
00:39:48.000 Hollywood.
00:39:49.000 A little bit of devil worship.
00:39:53.000 Mate, but listen, I noticed that you don't like to talk about biographical detail.
00:40:00.000 Well what?
00:40:00.000 Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
00:40:02.000 Because I'm saying to you, if you ask me what happened, I'm like, what happened was I went there and I got this job and I got a bunch of money and it made me go a bit crazy and I got all this opportunity.
00:40:10.000 So what happened to you?
00:40:12.000 What was it that happened to you that made you turn away from what seems like a native condition of loving the Lord?
00:40:18.000 What is the thing that's pulling you out of that?
00:40:20.000 There was no peace there.
00:40:22.000 There was only death.
00:40:23.000 The feeling of it.
00:40:24.000 I'm a selfish man.
00:40:25.000 What were you doing?
00:40:26.000 Where did you live?
00:40:27.000 I was on a very popular show, and I was interviewing people, I was traveling the world, and I was doing everything, and I'm sitting there, and I'm just like, I don't get it.
00:40:37.000 And it was so obvious, too, that it was spiritual, because even on the conversations I was getting destroyed off of my beliefs.
00:40:43.000 So God put me in a place, He's like, alright, are you going to sit there comfortably rich, in your little high horse, powerful?
00:40:49.000 But you know deep down you're miserable, and you're in death.
00:40:53.000 Were you miserable?
00:40:54.000 Oh my God.
00:40:55.000 I literally used to make jokes.
00:40:57.000 I'd go, how did I have more peace and joy flipping burgers at Five Guys than sitting up here at the top of my top and thinking, this is what I dreamt of, and I would turn it away for five minutes flipping burgers?
00:41:10.000 And I sat there like, this doesn't make any sense.
00:41:12.000 And then I had no wisdom.
00:41:14.000 Didn't know.
00:41:15.000 You know why?
00:41:16.000 Because I was full of crap.
00:41:17.000 I didn't know who Jesus was.
00:41:18.000 I had no idea who Jesus was.
00:41:21.000 I only had those feelings because my mother prayed over me.
00:41:24.000 But when I was a man, I didn't do those practices.
00:41:28.000 So it's crazy how it just proved to me that the practice is what made me who I am.
00:41:33.000 That's why a lot of people have this challenge where faith without works is dead.
00:41:37.000 No, no, no.
00:41:38.000 If you have faith, you're going to have works.
00:41:41.000 That's what he means.
00:41:43.000 Not that you need works to have faith.
00:41:45.000 It all starts with who you're focusing on.
00:41:48.000 And I believe in Jesus.
00:41:50.000 That was my first step.
00:41:51.000 And then I had to come to the realization that I'm in a very tough industry and I don't know how to defend myself spiritually.
00:41:58.000 And I'm putting myself in terrible situations and I'm speaking like a pagan.
00:42:02.000 And I looked in the mirror and I'm like, oh my God, I'm Pharisee!
00:42:05.000 I'm literally the person that's going to stand before God and say, what are you talking about?
00:42:09.000 I stood on the podcast and I talked about you and I did all this.
00:42:13.000 And God goes, beat it buddy.
00:42:14.000 You had no idea who I was.
00:42:16.000 And that's why when I started reading the gospel and I started weeping and I was like, Oh my God, I'm so sorry.
00:42:22.000 I was a hypocrite.
00:42:23.000 I had no idea who you were.
00:42:25.000 And then I started feeling alive again.
00:42:26.000 And then I'm like, Oh wait, I should focus on this.
00:42:30.000 And then so God was like, are you going to stay on this show?
00:42:34.000 Or are you gonna part with nothing?
00:42:36.000 And I was in debt.
00:42:37.000 And I was scared.
00:42:38.000 So jumping in this leap, right before I wanted to ask my woman to marry me, right when my dad and I are going in on business, it was like my hands and feet were tied.
00:42:46.000 And if I take this jump and it doesn't work, I'm dead.
00:42:49.000 There's nothing I could do right now.
00:42:52.000 Even my character is up for assassination.
00:42:56.000 And I'm like, no, because my God is greater than all of this.
00:43:00.000 And so if I die here, it's because he doesn't want me to be here.
00:43:02.000 So whatever.
00:43:04.000 And I jumped.
00:43:05.000 And I can't even explain to you that I weep almost once a week just from gratitude of how I feel so alive.
00:43:15.000 And there's not anything in this world at all Do you remember when we were on the podcast and you said... Yeah, it was only two hours ago.
00:43:23.000 And they were like... Remember all of it?
00:43:26.000 I was sat there, you sat there, Sean sat there.
00:43:28.000 That bit.
00:43:28.000 Yeah.
00:43:30.000 I like that.
00:43:31.000 You'll get that when you... You have to watch the podcast for you to understand it.
00:43:34.000 But you said a lot of... You got the light of the Lord!
00:43:36.000 Something like that.
00:43:37.000 Very southern.
00:43:37.000 You got the light of the Lord!
00:43:39.000 Like she sort of exploded.
00:43:41.000 Like sort of a fairy of light.
00:43:42.000 She is a fairy of light.
00:43:44.000 But wait, I just want to circle back to this.
00:43:45.000 You said that a lot of people that are in politics or in power, they go, I'm going to do this.
00:43:49.000 And then, but when I'm in there, I'm going to do good.
00:43:51.000 That was me.
00:43:52.000 That was me.
00:43:53.000 God, if you give me this, oh God, I will, I will wield it for you.
00:43:58.000 Years go by and God's like, hey man, I haven't even heard from you.
00:44:01.000 It's like, you get what I'm saying?
00:44:02.000 Do you worry it could happen again?
00:44:04.000 No, impossible.
00:44:05.000 Well, let me tell you, you're in the light of the Lord when you're a kid, your mother's praying over you, your dad's praying over you, everyone's doing their best.
00:44:11.000 What do you do?
00:44:12.000 Like a little bastard, you go off into what sounded to me a bit like devil worship.
00:44:17.000 But think about it, I didn't know who he was.
00:44:20.000 Why not?
00:44:21.000 Because I didn't read him.
00:44:21.000 I didn't follow him.
00:44:22.000 You just had sort of native, home-cooked Christianity.
00:44:25.000 We hang out now, right?
00:44:26.000 We're hanging out.
00:44:27.000 Here we are.
00:44:27.000 Here we are.
00:44:28.000 But we hang out with each other for a few more months.
00:44:30.000 You know who I am.
00:44:31.000 You know my patterns.
00:44:32.000 You know my potential.
00:44:32.000 You know my thoughts.
00:44:33.000 You know my dreams.
00:44:34.000 And then some other guy comes in.
00:44:35.000 He goes, you know George loves baseball?
00:44:37.000 And you're like, what?
00:44:38.000 He's never mentioned it.
00:44:39.000 Never!
00:44:39.000 And he hates baseball.
00:44:41.000 Because you know me.
00:44:42.000 Before, I would have been like, yeah, yeah, Jesus loves baseball.
00:44:46.000 And God's like, I never even mentioned that.
00:44:48.000 You know what I'm saying?
00:44:49.000 So this is what happened.
00:44:51.000 I was a sheep, and I wasn't filled with the Spirit.
00:44:53.000 And I went in there, and everybody else filled me with their Spirit.
00:44:57.000 And I was like, oh, okay, cool, yeah.
00:44:59.000 I can F around, and nothing's a big deal.
00:45:02.000 I grew up in a society that it was gay if you didn't have sex with a lot of girls.
00:45:05.000 From Christians!
00:45:06.000 Christians would look at me like, bro, you gotta have fun before you get married.
00:45:10.000 That's a terrible thing to teach a man!
00:45:12.000 He gets addicted to that life, and then now he has one woman, and now he's like, I'm supposed to stay here?
00:45:17.000 And think about this, when you get married, every single guy who came up to me is like, what's your bachelor party gonna look like?
00:45:23.000 Beat it, buddy.
00:45:24.000 There is no bachelor party.
00:45:25.000 Why would I want one last party before I marry the love of my life?
00:45:31.000 That's the party.
00:45:32.000 But the devil wants to sneak in there and ruin it.
00:45:35.000 I'm not letting him do it.
00:45:37.000 And you ask me why wouldn't it happen again?
00:45:39.000 It's because I will not enter a room without Jesus coming first.
00:45:43.000 It won't happen.
00:45:44.000 You can take my money.
00:45:45.000 You can take Shorty over here.
00:45:46.000 I love Belle.
00:45:47.000 I'll take that ring off of her finger within a blink of an eye if she ever steps across from Jesus.
00:45:52.000 Even my mother.
00:45:54.000 If my mother started making a decision off of Jesus, I'd be like, you're out of your mind.
00:45:57.000 No, I didn't.
00:45:59.000 Before I wasn't like that.
00:46:00.000 Before I did not know.
00:46:03.000 Before I fell into the, I only know he forgives me.
00:46:07.000 So I can keep messing up.
00:46:09.000 Because He forgives me.
00:46:10.000 But God's a tolerant God, but He's also a just God.
00:46:14.000 And regardless of what you did in front of a judge, if you did the crime, you're gonna do the time.
00:46:19.000 And so when I fell in love with Jesus and I was like, wait a second, the death of, the wage of sin is death, and He carried that willingly, and I'm gonna sit here and disrespect the cross and just keep playing that game?
00:46:33.000 Imagine your father died for you.
00:46:36.000 What she did is heaven.
00:46:38.000 But imagine me and you, right?
00:46:40.000 We're friends and I take a bullet for you and I die.
00:46:43.000 And you make a mockery of it.
00:46:45.000 What kind of man are you?
00:46:47.000 You're more evil than you would ever imagine.
00:46:50.000 I would like to respect what God did for me now, before I didn't care.
00:46:54.000 Because I didn't know.
00:46:57.000 And that's why he says, forgive them for they do not know.
00:47:00.000 And that's why I don't judge people when they're going crazy or they're saying crazy things or doing crazy things.
00:47:04.000 It's because they're worshiping something super, super intensely.
00:47:08.000 They don't know who God is.
00:47:09.000 And the devil has them wrapped up.
00:47:12.000 I had this conversation with somebody where I was like, how sad is it that Satan has somebody from their home as their childhood, disrespected, maybe even molested.
00:47:23.000 They have all this foul behavior and they're filled with that.
00:47:28.000 And they get put into the world and they make mistakes because of their upbringing and what they had.
00:47:32.000 And then us Christians are like, get this guy!
00:47:36.000 And they just kick him in the face and they throw him back to the world that destroyed him.
00:47:40.000 Is that Christ-like?
00:47:41.000 Or is it like, hey man, come over here.
00:47:44.000 And then I show him love and I show him respect, which he never even got in his own home.
00:47:50.000 And then he's like, what kind of fruit is this?
00:47:53.000 Do you get where I'm going with this?
00:47:55.000 I can think of a few examples of that, actually.
00:47:57.000 I can think of a few examples of it.
00:47:59.000 We started off with, like, that bit of scripture that you read, and we've touched on this idea of righteousness and faith.
00:48:07.000 Now your Aramaic Bible has arrived.
00:48:10.000 Yeah.
00:48:10.000 I just wanted to bring you so I could just hang two Bibles right here.
00:48:12.000 There they are, the guys.
00:48:13.000 Yeah.
00:48:14.000 And I wonder if you might read a little for us, like a verse or two.
00:48:20.000 I mean, I'm going to struggle with it if it's in Aramaic because you know... Oh no, it's in English.
00:48:24.000 It's just a translation.
00:48:25.000 It's just, it's a translation from the Aramaic, rather than sort of a King James or whatever.
00:48:29.000 Can you tell me, like, you know, we did, we started off with that bit from Matthew.
00:48:32.000 There was another bit, mate, where you were saying a bit about the bit that transformed you, and I think it was to do with righteousness and... Searching for the kingdom?
00:48:41.000 Yeah, maybe it was that, maybe it was that.
00:48:43.000 Or did you know that already?
00:48:46.000 Oh yeah, search first for the kingdom and all its righteousness.
00:48:48.000 And that's what I did, that's what I was explaining.
00:48:51.000 Where is that?
00:48:53.000 I don't know, I think it's in Matthews.
00:48:55.000 Dude, is your Bible beat up?
00:48:57.000 No, because they're all new.
00:48:59.000 Mine's destroyed.
00:49:00.000 The devil worship books, they are tattered.
00:49:03.000 Ran through that one a few times.
00:49:05.000 How do we exactly worship Moloch and Baal?
00:49:09.000 What's he going to require?
00:49:11.000 Masturbation.
00:49:12.000 Okay, well let's go.
00:49:14.000 Oh wait, look at this.
00:49:15.000 This is where I was like, nevertheless, this kind goes not except from fasting and prayer.
00:49:20.000 Uh, would you say baby was six what?
00:49:22.000 Six thirty three.
00:49:24.000 The sermon on the mount is something that I really wish people uh... You wanna bang out some Beatitudes, mate?
00:49:31.000 I don't even know what you just said to me.
00:49:32.000 Beatitude.
00:49:32.000 Bang out some Beatitudes, you know.
00:49:34.000 You have an amazing, amazing voice.
00:49:37.000 Do you honestly?
00:49:37.000 I think you should.
00:49:38.000 You know the chosen guy?
00:49:40.000 Thanks.
00:49:41.000 The guy who stood in for you?
00:49:42.000 Jonathan Rumi?
00:49:43.000 Yeah.
00:49:43.000 Jesus is my body double.
00:49:44.000 Yeah.
00:49:45.000 He always reads on a Bible app, and he's like, he has that voice, but I think yours is better.
00:49:49.000 Honestly, than Jonathan, because I love him now.
00:49:51.000 When he does, when I'm doing the rosary sometimes, he's like, you know, in there, sort of, hear their mocking calls.
00:49:58.000 That's in the third Sorrowful Mystery.
00:50:00.000 Right here, Matthew 6, 14.
00:50:01.000 Matthew 6, 14, for if you forgive men their faults, your Father in heaven will also forgive
00:50:09.000 you.
00:50:10.000 Think about this.
00:50:13.000 When somebody smacks you on the cheek, God says give them the other one.
00:50:17.000 Yeah.
00:50:17.000 My father says, beat his brakes off and make sure he never touches you again.
00:50:21.000 Right?
00:50:21.000 Because the theory of a man touching you and hitting you and you saying, well, here, take this other cheek.
00:50:28.000 It's like you kind of like, and forgive me for my thing, you kind of look like a weak man.
00:50:33.000 I understand.
00:50:35.000 A very, very low hanging type of man.
00:50:38.000 Yeah.
00:50:38.000 But think about this.
00:50:39.000 When I was a I was in 8th grade and I did martial arts because I was getting bullied and I was taking my anger in martial arts.
00:50:47.000 What type of martial arts?
00:50:47.000 I did Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and I did Muay Thai.
00:50:50.000 And in there, my one rule my parents said was, because they actually, they didn't know for a year I was doing that, because they thought it was just a gym.
00:50:58.000 But after a year, they were like, we'll let you here, but if you touch any man, if you touch any man, we're out.
00:51:04.000 We're pulling you right out.
00:51:05.000 And I said, okay.
00:51:06.000 I was getting bullied and bullied and bullied, and there was this guy named Zach, and man, this guy pissed me off, dude.
00:51:11.000 And he got really ballsy one time, and he pushed me up against the fence and he slapped me.
00:51:16.000 And I just wanted to hit him so hard and I was like, oh no I can't because I was so scared of my mom and dad, more than anything.
00:51:22.000 None of these kids.
00:51:22.000 I was terrified of my mom and dad.
00:51:24.000 I got ass whoopings if I was ever a bad kid.
00:51:26.000 Not in like a dramatic being way, but they definitely showed me that they had their hierarchy.
00:51:32.000 My dad grabbed me and he goes, if any man ever touches you again and you don't defend yourself, I'll deal with you when you get home.
00:51:38.000 And I was like, oh.
00:51:39.000 So the next day, I had authority to beat the brakes off this kid.
00:51:43.000 And my God, was I looking for it.
00:51:45.000 I started mouthing.
00:51:46.000 I already knew by second period that during lunch, we're going to fight.
00:51:50.000 I already knew it.
00:51:50.000 How old are you in this story?
00:51:52.000 Eighth grade.
00:51:53.000 What is that?
00:51:54.000 Is that how old is that?
00:51:54.000 Because we don't have to.
00:51:56.000 Sixteen?
00:51:57.000 No, no, no, no.
00:51:58.000 Not sixteen.
00:51:58.000 Like fourteen.
00:51:59.000 Fourteen.
00:51:59.000 Yeah, yeah.
00:52:00.000 Fourteen, fifteen.
00:52:00.000 So I don't know the grades.
00:52:02.000 Were you homeschooled?
00:52:04.000 English.
00:52:04.000 We don't say that.
00:52:06.000 You don't say school?
00:52:07.000 We say school, but we don't say eighth grade.
00:52:09.000 Really?
00:52:10.000 What do you guys have?
00:52:11.000 Uni?
00:52:12.000 First year, second year, third year.
00:52:14.000 You're gonna be bunking off.
00:52:15.000 Shall we go and have a fag behind the bike shed?
00:52:17.000 Yeah, don't mind if I do, mate.
00:52:18.000 Yeah, get out of here.
00:52:19.000 Go on, get out of here, you wanker.
00:52:22.000 Yeah, I'm gonna go toss off behind a lorry.
00:52:24.000 That's our entire culture.
00:52:28.000 Same.
00:52:28.000 You need subtitles for it, yeah.
00:52:33.000 So it was, yeah, it was eighth grade.
00:52:34.000 I was like 14 or 15, one around.
00:52:36.000 And this actually changed my life altogether.
00:52:42.000 I was praying about it.
00:52:43.000 I was like, God, I was like, but I was praying the wrong way.
00:52:45.000 I was like, God, I want to teach this guy a lesson.
00:52:47.000 I'm going to humble him.
00:52:49.000 He's going to know who Jesus is and his people.
00:52:53.000 Recess came and I was saying some very disrespectful things, which I would probably never be able to say again.
00:52:58.000 And finally the guy pushed me up against the wall, grabbed me, and he punched me.
00:53:03.000 Boom!
00:53:04.000 And I got so excited.
00:53:05.000 I even smiled.
00:53:06.000 And I grabbed him and I leaned back.
00:53:08.000 And his face, I'll never forget it.
00:53:10.000 He went like this and he looked at me and he was so heartbroken.
00:53:14.000 And it froze, and I remember my hand couldn't even make a fist.
00:53:17.000 I was so unangered that I was so shocked by his face, I could not make a fist.
00:53:23.000 And I'm standing there, and he's wrestling me, somebody else is grabbing me, and I'm about to hit him, and I can't hit this dude.
00:53:28.000 And I take a breath, and I'm like, alright.
00:53:31.000 And in my mind at the time, I was like, it's because I'm a weak man, I've never punched anybody in my life.
00:53:35.000 So maybe that's why or something, I don't know.
00:53:39.000 Years go by.
00:53:41.000 I never punched him.
00:53:42.000 He beat me up.
00:53:43.000 By the way, nothing was more embarrassing than talking.
00:53:45.000 And by the way, I was a talker.
00:53:46.000 I told everybody, I go, you watch and see what happens to this guy at lunch.
00:53:50.000 And he rocked my life.
00:53:53.000 And so I sat there and I was like, I wonder why that happened.
00:53:57.000 And then a few years go by.
00:53:59.000 I haven't talked to this kid again.
00:54:01.000 And randomly I see him in detention after school.
00:54:03.000 And detention, how it works is when after class or after school you sit in detention and you take the same buses that the football kids would take.
00:54:12.000 And I was not new to this.
00:54:14.000 In fact, they probably thought I was on the football team for how many times I was in detention.
00:54:17.000 I was always on this bus.
00:54:18.000 But randomly, I see him walk in.
00:54:20.000 It's just me and him.
00:54:22.000 And I sit in there, and I have no anger at this point because years have gone by.
00:54:25.000 I have no anger.
00:54:26.000 I've got my ass kicked by like seven other dudes by then.
00:54:29.000 I forgot that he was in my apartment.
00:54:32.000 So I looked at him and he looked at me and the teacher rushes in and she goes, guys, I'm so sorry.
00:54:36.000 I have a family emergency.
00:54:37.000 I have to go.
00:54:38.000 She goes, you guys are free to go, but I'm also marking it that you guys are here.
00:54:41.000 I'm apologizing to you guys.
00:54:42.000 And so she leaves and we're excited because we're like, well, you know, God with her, but like we're out, right?
00:54:46.000 And there's a mall right next door.
00:54:47.000 It's called Desert Ridge.
00:54:49.000 And I'm like, oh, I could just walk here.
00:54:51.000 I'm like, let me get some lunch.
00:54:52.000 So I grab in my bag and at this time, I'm like starting to realize Jesus is wanting me to forgive more.
00:54:58.000 So I was, I turned to him and I say, Hey man, uh, I'm going to go get lunch.
00:55:02.000 Do you want to come with me?
00:55:03.000 And he's like, yeah.
00:55:04.000 And so like, man, it's been years later.
00:55:06.000 So we're grabbing our bags and we're walking and we're, man, we're having a great A great time.
00:55:11.000 We're laughing.
00:55:12.000 We're enjoying each other's company.
00:55:14.000 And in the back of my mind, I'm like, I'm glad I never punched this dude in the face.
00:55:17.000 Like, I really was.
00:55:18.000 And right after I said that in my head, he turns to me with water in his eyes.
00:55:22.000 And he goes, Hey man, I'm really sorry that I would hit you every day.
00:55:27.000 And like, I was bad to you.
00:55:28.000 And he looks down.
00:55:30.000 And he goes, I just got it so much that I just, it was natural to me.
00:55:35.000 And my therapist is teaching me like, and so through that walk, I learned that his father used to beat the crap out of him.
00:55:44.000 And so when he used to come to school, he had that full of rage.
00:55:48.000 And I went home and I started weeping.
00:55:49.000 I go, mom, I almost hit a man that needed me more than anything.
00:55:54.000 And my mom says, you're full of love because you've given love and you received love in this home.
00:56:00.000 So when you see somebody struggling with anger or, or, or anxiety or depression, and they're just furious and they're beating, just remember they were fueled with that with somebody else.
00:56:09.000 And so that changed my life forever.
00:56:11.000 And now I understand to give him the other cheek.
00:56:13.000 Cause imagine if he hit me and I just looked at him and I gave him my other cheek, he would feel like his father and I would be him.
00:56:20.000 And he probably wouldn't have done it.
00:56:23.000 So this is where I understand, give them the other cheek.
00:56:27.000 That's a really lovely story.
00:56:28.000 Throughout this conversation, I've really enjoyed listening to your interpretation and rendering and memorization of the Bible.
00:56:39.000 I've really enjoyed As you've said to me earlier today, your easy conveyance of spirit and the presence of spirit in you.
00:56:49.000 I don't remember meeting anyone that I found so sweet so quickly.
00:56:53.000 You've got a really lovely, lovely heart.
00:56:56.000 It's really encouraging to be around you, George.
00:56:59.000 I've really enjoyed it.
00:57:00.000 I hope that we know each other for a lot longer.
00:57:02.000 Do you think that we will?
00:57:03.000 I would love to be friends.
00:57:04.000 Should we be friends with each other?
00:57:05.000 We should go bowling together.
00:57:06.000 There's a bowling alley very near here.
00:57:08.000 In fact, underneath us.
00:57:09.000 In the satanic hell beneath this building.
00:57:12.000 Yeah, you know what?
00:57:13.000 We should definitely go bowling.
00:57:15.000 Let's go bowling.
00:57:16.000 Let's go bowling in Hades.
00:57:19.000 Does it have to be in hell?
00:57:21.000 Does there have to be brimstone?
00:57:22.000 Do we have to be bowling into demons?
00:57:24.000 Into fallen souls?
00:57:25.000 Can't we just do it somewhere cute like Milwaukee?
00:57:27.000 Thank you!
00:57:28.000 You just gave me such demon re- You know what it is?
00:57:31.000 You were in Pirate of Hollywood.
00:57:32.000 The Illuminati got you.
00:57:33.000 It's bad habits.
00:57:34.000 That bloody Illuminati.
00:57:35.000 They really made an impact.
00:57:37.000 Yeah.
00:57:37.000 They know what they're doing, don't they, with their sigils?
00:57:39.000 Have you ever been to Bohemian Grove?
00:57:40.000 Yes, yeah, go on, what exactly is your point?
00:57:42.000 We get our hoods up, we worship the owl god, a little bit of sacrifice and all that.
00:57:47.000 Hey, you blew past that sacrifice pretty quick.
00:57:50.000 Well, I had to dwell on the sacrifice.
00:57:51.000 That's the worst bit!
00:57:53.000 Alright, just wanted to make sure.
00:57:54.000 Have you ever been?
00:57:55.000 Have you ever been?
00:57:55.000 No, mate, I've never been to Bohemian Grove.
00:57:57.000 I'm from Gray's in Essex.
00:57:58.000 You don't get to go to... Essex?
00:58:01.000 What?
00:58:01.000 That sounds like witchcraft.
00:58:02.000 What you just said was a hate crime.
00:58:03.000 Essex.
00:58:04.000 East Saxony.
00:58:05.000 Contracted.
00:58:06.000 Essex?
00:58:07.000 Yeah, Essex.
00:58:08.000 Essex.
00:58:09.000 Can I do British accent good?
00:58:11.000 No.
00:58:11.000 It's not.
00:58:12.000 It's disgusting.
00:58:13.000 Then I'll ruin this friendship.
00:58:19.000 Give us a cuddle then.
00:58:21.000 It was a pleasure.
00:58:22.000 Oh, you're gentle.
00:58:24.000 Thank you, mate.
00:58:25.000 Thank you.
00:58:25.000 I really, really liked it.
00:58:27.000 Lovely quality.
00:58:28.000 I appreciate it.
00:58:29.000 Thank you so much.
