Stay Free - Russel Brand - TRUMP ARREST?! - #094 - Stay Free With Russell Brand

00:00:00.000 I'm going to go ahead and get started.

00:02:30.000 you Hey!

00:02:33.000 Hey! 0.99

00:02:34.000 Hello, you Awakening Wonders.

00:02:35.000 Thanks for joining me for Stay Free with Russell Brand.

00:02:38.000 Wherever you're watching this, the whole show will only be exclusively available...

00:02:42.000 On Rumble.

00:02:43.000 That's because after 15, 20 minutes or so, we start saying stuff that you require free speech to say.

00:02:50.000 Not indoctrinating hate, not engendering speech that would divide us or make people feel bad about themselves, but a far worse crime than that.

00:02:59.000 Suggesting that if we unite, we can confront establishment centralised authority.

00:03:05.000 Today's a show that is about authority because Donald Trump has been arrested.

00:03:10.000 You might not like it.

00:03:11.000 Well, not yet.

00:03:11.000 Oh no, he's gonna be arrested in the future.

00:03:14.000 He's predicted his own arrest.

00:03:15.000 That's right.

00:03:16.000 Christ-like?

00:03:17.000 A little bit.

00:03:18.000 One of you will betray me, one of you will deny me.

00:03:21.000 That's out of Jesus Christ Superstar.

00:03:23.000 Not my words, Andrew Lloyd Webber.

00:03:25.000 Are you doing a little audition at this point?

00:03:28.000 I know that there are people, certain people, erstwhile of Project Veritas that make musicals here and there.

00:03:36.000 Even in Trump predicting his own downfall, well that's not what he's predicting, he's predicting an authoritarian attack He is depicting himself in a very particular position.

00:03:48.000 We're going to use this as a point to pivot and discuss authority.

00:03:53.000 Who has the authority to arrest Donald Trump?

00:03:56.000 By what moral authority?

00:03:58.000 And are there any other comparable cases that if you were to arrest Trump for that, essentially it's like did he use electoral funds, campaign funds to pay for Good luck arresting Putin!

00:04:09.000 money for dear old Stormy Daniels, is there any comparable offence committed by the opposing

00:04:15.000 party? And obviously there is, because otherwise this would be a lot of rhetorical nonsense.

00:04:19.000 Also, the ICC have announced that they're going to arrest Putin. Good luck, good luck

00:04:24.000 arresting Putin, he ain't going quietly though. Mr Putin, you are under arrest.

00:04:30.000 OK, what is it for?

00:04:31.000 My driver's license?

00:04:33.000 No, it's for the crime of war. 0.62

00:04:35.000 Illegal.

00:04:36.000 OK, I'll come quietly.

00:04:38.000 The ICC have offered similar decrees previously.

00:04:42.000 Colonel Gaddafi, don't remember what happened to that guy, don't remember seeing him jostling about on the back of a truck, having all his dignity robbed.

00:04:49.000 Stripped nude, jostled to the undead.

00:04:52.000 And also, The dude that used to be in charge of Sudan I think is currently exiled or hiding out somewhere.

00:04:58.000 They call him that as well.

00:04:59.000 The Dude.

00:05:00.000 Chief Dude of Sudan! 0.54

00:05:02.000 So like it's not unprecedented but it is unlikely and it brings about important questions and these are the ones that I want you to answer.

00:05:10.000 I want you to ponder along with us and then answer.

00:05:12.000 Who has the authority?

00:05:14.000 It's the same with free speech.

00:05:16.000 If you don't agree with the principle of free speech, you have to conclude that there's some group, individual, or institution that has the authority to deny you your free speech.

00:05:25.000 Who are you giving that authority to?

00:05:27.000 Once our trust in institutions like government, media, and the corporate world has broken down...

00:05:31.000 Pretty sure that's where we are.

00:05:33.000 Then none of us are granting that consent, are we?

00:05:36.000 So that's one of the things we're going to be talking about.

00:05:38.000 Also, we're talking to Glenn Greenwald.

00:05:40.000 What an exciting conversation to be having at this time.

00:05:43.000 Glenn Greenwald, Pulitzer Prize winning journalist, radical advocate for free speech, radical critic of all political corruption, wherever it's found.

00:05:53.000 Newly confronted continually by his old liberal establishment pals.

00:05:57.000 Not that a liberal establishment would have ever been Greenwald's pals, but they've turned on him, haven't they?

00:06:03.000 He's someone that faces a lot of attacks.

00:06:05.000 He's a brilliant journalist.

00:06:06.000 He's our friend over here on Rumble.

00:06:08.000 We're honoured to have him.

00:06:09.000 And then once we flip off a YouTube, We'll be talking about censorship that so-called journalist Matt Taibbi talks about.

00:06:18.000 Some vaccine side effects stuff that we just wouldn't be able to talk about on YouTube.

00:06:22.000 On our item, here's the news.

00:06:23.000 We're talking about January the 6th.

00:06:24.000 You're going to absolutely love it.

00:06:26.000 But before we get into this Trump stuff, the true nature of power, you should know that Russia are recruiting new warriors on Onanism website. 0.53

00:06:38.000 Pornhub.

00:06:39.000 Let's have a look.

00:06:40.000 Uh, Wagner.

00:06:41.000 Wagner, like as in the composer.

00:06:44.000 The composer.

00:06:45.000 Hitler's favorite. 0.98

00:06:46.000 Let's have a look at the, uh, like the advert.

00:06:48.000 There was some text from the advert that we were pretty keen to see, weren't we?

00:06:51.000 Let's have a look at that.

00:06:52.000 So take down that still immediately and replace it with a text that we discussed so that I can see it if you don't mind.

00:06:57.000 Thank you.

00:06:59.000 Could you?

00:07:00.000 Shall we have that or not?

00:07:01.000 We said the advert because we don't want that text there because we discussed that.

00:07:01.000 Do you remember that?

00:07:05.000 It's the new text.

00:07:06.000 No, that's the previous text from the Vice article.

00:07:08.000 What we want is the text from the advertisement that Gareth read out in the article.

00:07:12.000 Don't worry about that.

00:07:13.000 I was never married to it.

00:07:15.000 It was always at best mediocre, which seems to be the standard.

00:07:19.000 I've got it here if you want to hear it.

00:07:21.000 Yeah, tell me.

00:07:22.000 Right, so in the since-deleted ad, a blonde woman wearing red lipstick is seen seductively sucking a large lollipop, while another woman's voice huskily says in the background, we are the coolest army in the world.

00:07:34.000 Trivialising, minimalising and sexualising war.

00:07:40.000 I think if you were to join an army or a militia on the basis of that advert, then find yourself in a war, you might feel pretty misled.

00:07:48.000 It's at what point during watching that content you would feel more like joining a war, isn't it?

00:07:54.000 I think, knowing my own relationship with these kind of porn websites, which I've had to curtail due to moral and spiritual reasons, but I would start off very enthusiastic.

00:08:03.000 And because you don't want to join a war.

00:08:04.000 I'm not interested in that.

00:08:05.000 I think that my own trajectory would be initial incredible enthusiasm about, yeah, I'm going to join that militia.

00:08:10.000 I'm going to have a fantastic time.

00:08:12.000 Yeah!

00:08:12.000 War!

00:08:13.000 And then ultimately, oh God, what's the point?

00:08:15.000 Can't we be kind to each other?

00:08:17.000 What the hell are we doing this for?

00:08:19.000 I can't fight anyway. 0.85

00:08:21.000 I'm too weak!

00:08:22.000 I'm fragile!

00:08:23.000 The main story we're talking about today, though, is the potential impending arrest of Donald Trump.

00:08:31.000 And in particular, who has the authority to conduct that arrest?

00:08:36.000 Maybe as well as watching us, you watch mainstream media.

00:08:38.000 You can see how mainstream media will report on this.

00:08:41.000 The assumption of authority is baked into their presentation.

00:08:45.000 Have a look at this crazy bit of reporting.

00:08:48.000 You'd never know anything was wrong in Donald Trump's world.

00:08:52.000 The former president in Oklahoma rallying a crowd at a wrestling... Like, how would you at that point know that there was something wrong in Donald Trump's world?

00:09:01.000 I mean, what should he do?

00:09:02.000 Nervously shuffle off that plane?

00:09:04.000 It's not like how Joe Biden does.

00:09:06.000 Like, there should be at least one accident descending the stairs.

00:09:10.000 Oh look, Donald Trump today looked besieged by doubt as he descended... It's amazing to have everything he owns, it's got his name written on it.

00:09:17.000 Mmm.

00:09:18.000 That must be good for your self-esteem.

00:09:19.000 It must be.

00:09:20.000 If you look at a tower, Trump.

00:09:21.000 If you look at even, like, in your notepad, Trump.

00:09:23.000 I mean, even if you see, sort of, like... Have you ever had headed notepaper before in your life?

00:09:27.000 Oh, I'd like that.

00:09:29.000 We'll get you some.

00:09:29.000 Brilliant.

00:09:30.000 We'll get you some for Christmas.

00:09:30.000 We'll get you some sooner.

00:09:32.000 Let's have a look at the rest of this.

00:09:35.000 If Trump is worried about a wrestling tournament, I mean what an incredible life he's living.

00:09:40.000 He's being president, he's getting off a jet, he's at a wrestling tournament, he's being indicted.

00:09:45.000 The thing that's interesting though about this indictment of course is that it appears to be for the misuse of campaign funds which if you think about it is really similar To the Democrat Party situation with the Steele dossier that they funded.

00:10:01.000 So let's have a look at it just side by side.

00:10:04.000 Because I guess the real question is, put aside your prejudices for a moment.

00:10:08.000 Maybe you really like Donald Trump.

00:10:10.000 Maybe you do not like Donald Trump.

00:10:12.000 In a sense, I think one way of achieving objectivity and a relationship with your inner principles is to somehow regard the object just as a catalyst.

00:10:21.000 Say, for example, during all of the controversies around the pandemic, if you could forget about the object itself and just think, how is power behaving?

00:10:27.000 Is there a wealth transfer?

00:10:29.000 Is there censorship?

00:10:30.000 Does there appear to be an agenda?

00:10:31.000 You can just interrogate yourself and conduct your own investigation.

00:10:36.000 Obviously that doesn't mean that what we do on our own is going to be of a higher standard than what academia can achieve, but we have to recognize that a lot of interests are being bought out, that there's a lot of In fact, government is founded now on corruption.

00:10:52.000 That's the founding principle, isn't it?

00:10:54.000 That they are funded by, lobbied by, owned stocks and shares in, corporations that receive favourable treatment and indeed legislation.

00:11:02.000 That we all understand at this point, and quibbling about the small differences between the parties, is all that's left for us, and that's what we're calling democracy.

00:11:10.000 And even this potential impending arrest of Trump is another example of that, because look, It's claimed Trump concealed alleged hush payments that were supposedly used to violate federal election laws using legal expenses.

00:11:21.000 You're not allowed to do that.

00:11:22.000 You're not allowed to use legal expenses.

00:11:23.000 That's the key phrase.

00:11:24.000 Legal expenses, yeah.

00:11:25.000 Okay, so Clinton was fined by the Federal Election Committee for funding the Steele dossier using illegal expenses.

00:11:32.000 Yeah.

00:11:32.000 So that's interesting.

00:11:33.000 It's pretty similar.

00:11:34.000 It's just not as doesn't sound as dodgy.

00:11:36.000 It's not so salacious because Trump's one has a porn star in it and that one's got a dossier.

00:11:43.000 Dossiers famously require sexing up like the dossier that was used to underwrite the illegal invasion of Iraq 0.95

00:11:51.000 where specifically the then head of spin doctory Alistair Campbell said we better sex up that

00:11:57.000 dossier i.e. make it sound like there's definitely weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.

00:12:03.000 Spoiler alert and I don't like using that phrase.

00:12:05.000 There were no weapons of mass destruction found in Iraq.

00:12:08.000 I can tell you no one sexed up the steel dossier.

00:12:11.000 It was so un...

00:12:13.000 It's boring as all hell.

00:12:14.000 What they did is Russiagated it up and made it sound like there had been collusion.

00:12:19.000 What's interesting about this as well is who has the power to make those arrests and on whose behalf do they operate?

00:12:24.000 You'll be aware by now that the ICC have issued an arrest warrant for Vladimir Putin.

00:12:29.000 This seems like a sort of very mute and clerical approach to a despotic, maniacal tyrant.

00:12:35.000 Sir, you are under arrest.

00:12:37.000 This is like a person that has access to nuclear weapons.

00:12:40.000 That doesn't seem like bureaucratic compliance is utmost in his consideration.

00:12:47.000 It's been issued to a couple of other leaders, Sudan's Omar al-Bashir and Colonel Gaddafi.

00:12:52.000 Gaddafi, as you know, is dead now.

00:12:53.000 And Omar al-Bashir has been deposed subsequently.

00:12:58.000 Have a look at this moment.

00:12:59.000 This is really interesting.

00:12:59.000 This is Colonel Gaddafi addressing, I think, an Arab council where Assad and him are talking about

00:13:09.000 the recent death of Saddam Hussein, who was, of course, executed by...

00:13:13.000 I don't know. I mean, who did that?

00:13:15.000 This is where it gets into sort of this is where I think it gets into important philosophical territory because you have to presume a degree of authority whether you're talking about freedom of speech or you're talking about arresting Trump and not arresting Clinton and again we're looking at the issues it's not like The function of this show is not, wouldn't it be great if Trump was in charge? 0.67

00:13:34.000 Or wouldn't it be great if Putin was able to continue to kill Ukrainian children? 0.88

00:13:39.000 Obviously that's appalling. 0.69

00:13:40.000 Obviously what we're advocating for is a radical change in the way that power is structured fundamentally.

00:13:46.000 What these news stories highlight is a lack of moral probity at the core of our systems.

00:13:52.000 You can't You can't claim that you're going to arrest Trump and then not arrest Clinton.

00:13:56.000 You can't arrest Putin for war crimes and then not look at the military history of the West, even the recent history.

00:14:02.000 And when I say recent history, we're talking about Trump, Obama, Biden.

00:14:07.000 Recent history.

00:14:08.000 We'll talk more about that in a moment, but just have a look at this.

00:14:10.000 This is good to look at this because if you're like me and I'm sure you know you could be watching this

00:14:14.000 anywhere in the world let me know in the chat let me know in the comments join us in part of our

00:14:17.000 locals community because those are the comments and chat that I watch coming up now hey a Hogan

00:14:22.000 like and let us know are you aware of these alternative narratives are you aware of how this conflict

00:14:27.000 looks if you're watching it from within Russia you know like they'll have their own anti-establishment

00:14:31.000 voices There'll be people saying, Putin's a tyrant.

00:14:33.000 We don't want to be going to this unnecessary war.

00:14:35.000 This ain't benefiting us.

00:14:36.000 I'm just trying to enjoy Pornhub.

00:14:38.000 Just recline and freely express myself.

00:14:41.000 And I'm getting militia adverts?

00:14:43.000 That's not a pop-up I came here for.

00:14:45.000 I came up here for a pop-up of another variety entirely.

00:14:49.000 Here, you get a look into what Edward Said would say is the sort of alternative perspective of reality that we're often denied, in particular, from the Muslim world.

00:14:59.000 Although, of course, Gaddafi was a secular leader, which made him useful for a while, until he wasn't useful, then it's goodnight, baby! 0.99

00:15:05.000 Game over!

00:15:06.000 Have a look at him talking to Assad after the occasion of the execution, call it what you will, of Saddam Hussein.

00:15:12.000 We will remember that moment.

00:15:13.000 Check it.

00:15:15.000 Why isn't there an investigation into Saddam Hussein's assassination?

00:15:21.000 An entire Arab leadership is being killed in the streets.

00:15:23.000 We're not going to watch a funeral.

00:15:27.000 Maybe it's your turn now.

00:15:30.000 And I'm...

00:15:31.000 What Gnappy didn't know is that the next person was going to be him.

00:15:38.000 Yeah, the punchline to that actually was his own death.

00:15:42.000 It's a brutal punchline.

00:15:43.000 Yeah, one of the worst, I'd say.

00:15:46.000 Listen, we don't know, none of us, none of us know, in case you're, like, you might not be able to speak that language, I'm guessing he's speaking Arabic there, like, and you might be listening to this only on audio, what Gaddafi said was, listen, we can't just let him kill Saddam He's a sovereign leader of a country.

00:16:00.000 They've just gone in there and killed him.

00:16:02.000 That means they could do it to any of us.

00:16:03.000 I mean, any one of... And he says, amusingly, any one of you.

00:16:06.000 Or... And everyone laughed as if they all knew.

00:16:09.000 Or you, actually, my man.

00:16:11.000 And of course it was Gaddafi that died next.

00:16:13.000 And by what right?

00:16:14.000 And again, this is not... You can say stuff like this.

00:16:16.000 Indeed, you must say stuff like this without fearing that you're gonna be sort of...

00:16:20.000 Dubbed an advocate of Gaddafi because, of course, as we now know, as centralised authority doubles down on its control, rather than address the issues raised by peripheral counter-narratives, whether they come from the left or right, they instead smear all dissenting voices, whether that's a powerful dissenting voice or a relatively marginal or minimal one, Like this, oh, you don't want to listen to Matt Taibbi, he's a so-called journalist, as that congresswoman said in that investigation. 0.98

00:16:48.000 Instead of addressing the revelations of the Twitter files, why not just accuse Matt Taibbi of being an idiot?

00:16:54.000 Instead of dealing with Donald Trump, whether you like him or not, and I know loads of you really love him and you know how I feel about Donald Trump, don't feel like he's the solution, fascinating figure. 0.94

00:17:02.000 In loads of ways.

00:17:03.000 Rather than dealing with, hey, how come this figure has risen to the forefront?

00:17:07.000 What failings does that show systemically?

00:17:09.000 That 13% of people that voted for Obama also voted for Trump.

00:17:13.000 So, hmm, that's an interesting statistic.

00:17:15.000 What does it reveal about society?

00:17:18.000 Well, I'll tell you what it reveals.

00:17:19.000 That it doesn't bloody work properly.

00:17:20.000 That's what it reveals, and they can never have that conversation.

00:17:23.000 I want to draw your attention to a few philosophical quotes that will help us formulate our thoughts around the nature of authority.

00:17:31.000 Firstly, the theory advanced by John Rawls is that authority is legitimate if and only if it acts in accord with principles the subjects agree to.

00:17:41.000 So for us to give authority to the state or to the ICC, we have to agree with them.

00:17:46.000 At this point, there is no we.

00:17:48.000 The point where you can have 300 million Americans going, yeah, we the people, it's over, isn't it?

00:17:52.000 Now, there's a lot of talk of succession, but in a way, it's got to go further than that.

00:17:57.000 I think more democracy, more ability to govern your own communities.

00:18:00.000 This is a quote from Robert Paul Wolf, who I hadn't heard of until about 25 seconds ago.

00:18:05.000 So don't feel like I'm trying to act like I'm cleverer than you.

00:18:07.000 I don't think I'm cleverer than you.

00:18:08.000 I don't think I'm better than you.

00:18:09.000 I don't think I know stuff you don't know.

00:18:11.000 I know you know stuff that I don't know.

00:18:12.000 Let's talk through this.

00:18:14.000 The basic idea, says Robert Paul Wolf, is that it is incompatible for a subject to comply with the commands of an authority merely because it is the command of the authority, and for the subject to be acting morally autonomously.

00:18:25.000 Don't just do what you're told because you were told to do it.

00:18:27.000 Literally the opposite of what you're told at school.

00:18:29.000 Literally the opposite of because I said so.

00:18:32.000 Because I said so works for kids.

00:18:34.000 Thank God, because I've got kids.

00:18:36.000 But it doesn't work for an adult population of engaged civilians, does it?

00:18:40.000 That's why you need the term subject.

00:18:42.000 You're subject to that power.

00:18:44.000 That's one of the things we continually talk about.

00:18:47.000 The tone of parentalism that is in our discourse continually.

00:18:52.000 Like, oh, we've decided the experts, when they talk about experts, that's mummy and daddy.

00:18:56.000 And I'm not denying the category of experts.

00:18:58.000 But we are querying the nature of de facto aristocracies and technocracies where power is administered without inquiry, particularly once democracy has become nullified and hollowed out by corporatism.

00:19:09.000 Let me know in the chat.

00:19:09.000 Would you agree?

00:19:10.000 Hit me back, baby.

00:19:11.000 You know, I'm interested in what you think as well, although you wouldn't think so from the amount I talk.

00:19:15.000 Wolf thinks that each person has a duty to act on the basis of his own moral assessment of right and wrong, and has the duty to reflect on what is right and wrong in each particular instance of action.

00:19:26.000 Complicated.

00:19:27.000 Time-consuming.

00:19:28.000 Difficult to have people blindly... blind... blind, obedient people.

00:19:33.000 Easier to manage than what's being suggested here.

00:19:35.000 Such a person will be violating his duty to act autonomously if he complies with authoritative commands on grounds that are independent of the contents of the command.

00:19:42.000 So the duty of autonomy is incompatible with the duty of obeying political authority.

00:19:47.000 This is the challenge of philosophical anarchism.

00:19:49.000 So anarchism isn't about chaos.

00:19:51.000 Anarchism is about democracy and lack of domination.

00:19:54.000 It's one of the things we've discussed on the show.

00:19:56.000 And I guess that's what comes up here, isn't it?

00:19:58.000 When you start saying arrest Putin or arrest Trump, what you're saying is there are people, groups, institutions that have the moral authority to undertake that.

00:19:58.000 Yeah.

00:20:07.000 And there isn't because, you know, I know you've got some points Gal and then we'll move on to Putin and the war crime stuff and how that argument can be made.

00:20:15.000 You want me to make a point?

00:20:15.000 Of course.

00:20:16.000 Yeah, you look like you're ready to.

00:20:17.000 Well, I guess the situation at the moment, it's very, it's amazing that this is happening at the same time.

00:20:21.000 So the Pentagon is helping to shield Russia from international criminal court, ICC, again, interesting.

00:20:26.000 This is amazing.

00:20:27.000 From ICC accountability for its atrocities in Ukraine, fearing such a reckoning could set a precedent, allowing the tribunal to prosecute the U.S.

00:20:34.000 for war crimes in a new report, which is amazing.

00:20:38.000 So at the same time, you've got them say, we need to arrest, you know, Putin for war crimes.

00:20:43.000 is literally withholding Do you hear how important what Gareth is saying is?

00:20:43.000 The U.S.

00:20:52.000 All the while the narrative is Putin's evil, Putin's bad.

00:20:55.000 How many speeches have you seen of Joe Biden, back lit, standing up in front of a military congregation saying, this guy didn't reckon on how brave Ukrainian people are.

00:21:03.000 Oh brilliant, so Putin's a war criminal, you bet he's a war criminal.

00:21:06.000 Can you give us some evidence please because we're going to prosecute him as a war criminal.

00:21:09.000 Hold on a minute.

00:21:10.000 If we give them that evidence, they'll know that we're war criminals as well.

00:21:15.000 So that is the truth.

00:21:16.000 That's not conspiracy theory.

00:21:18.000 Here's some information for you guys.

00:21:19.000 In a minute, we're going to be talking to Glenn Greenwald, who I pray is watching this because I think he'd give us such a pat on the back for this.

00:21:25.000 Don't you think, Glenn Greenwald?

00:21:26.000 He does a lot of nice tweets about you anyway.

00:21:28.000 He's always sticking up for us when they're digging us out, isn't he?

00:21:30.000 Listen, if you're watching this on YouTube now, we're going to have to click off in a matter of moments.

00:21:33.000 I'll tell you why, because we're going to be talking about some corporate stuff that YouTube are just unable to broadcast.

00:21:37.000 And hey, everyone's trying to make a living in this world, even the Alphabet Corporation.

00:21:40.000 So we got to click over just to rumble, because we're talking about some of Matt Taibbi's so-called journalist and friend of the show, some of his revelations around vaccine side effects.

00:21:50.000 And then there's another thing as well.

00:21:51.000 Oh, Raccoon Dog, man.

00:21:52.000 Have you heard about Raccoon Dog?

00:21:54.000 There's a new animal in town.

00:21:56.000 It's Raccoon Dog.

00:21:57.000 It looks like what you think it would look like.

00:21:59.000 It suddenly entered the scene.

00:22:00.000 Like, Raccoon Dog.

00:22:01.000 Imagine, like, the genealogy of the Raccoon Dog.

00:22:04.000 Like, it exists at 12 noon, 12.01.

00:22:08.000 It's your fault, that pandemic! 0.98

00:22:10.000 Bloody hell, give us a minute! 0.98

00:22:11.000 No one even knew I existed, like, 25 seconds ago.

00:22:14.000 Just emerges on the scene.

00:22:15.000 It's the Orson Welles of being blamed for coronavirus.

00:22:19.000 So straight out of the gates, bang!

00:22:21.000 Here I am!

00:22:21.000 Nice reference, sir.

00:22:22.000 Thank you.

00:22:22.000 I knew you'd like that.

00:22:23.000 We've used it before, haven't we?

00:22:24.000 So listen to this stuff.

00:22:25.000 Before we click over to being exclusively on Rumble Home of free speech, let me hit you up with some of these facts.

00:22:31.000 We do a deep dive into this subject later in the week.

00:22:33.000 You're going to absolutely love it.

00:22:35.000 So, documented and alleged war crimes committed by Russian forces and contractors in Ukraine include... So this is terrible and awful.

00:22:43.000 We're off YouTube at this point.

00:22:44.000 Oh, actually, yeah, we better come off YouTube, because this list is bad.

00:22:47.000 So we'll come off YouTube.

00:22:48.000 Join us on Rumble.

00:22:49.000 We've got great guests.

00:22:49.000 Click over now.

00:22:50.000 We've got home troops that are going to awaken you.

00:22:53.000 You do not want to miss the awakening.

00:22:56.000 You're going to want to participate in this particular rapture.

00:22:58.000 See you in a second.

00:22:59.000 We're going over onto Rumble.

00:23:00.000 Alleged war crimes committed by Russian forces and contractors in Ukraine include, but are not limited to... So this is what Russia have done, or they've been alleged, because they've not been proven, but I bet they bloody well did. 0.97

00:23:10.000 That's just my opinion.

00:23:11.000 Massacres and other murders of civilians and soldiers, indiscriminate attacks on densely populated areas, these are all war crimes. 0.82

00:23:18.000 Attacking critical civilian infrastructure, bombing hospitals and shelters, torture, rape and sexual enslavement of women and children and stealing children.

00:23:26.000 That is why we do not support Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

00:23:30.000 But we do investigate the narrative and the chronology of events that led to this point because it's bloody significant.

00:23:37.000 Check out this terrifying fact.

00:23:39.000 American troops and contractors have perpetrated each of those war crimes in US attacks, invasions, occupations and peacekeeping operations in the years since the ICC was established in 1998.

00:23:49.000 Since 1998!

00:23:52.000 We're not even talking about Vietnam and all the crazy war crimes of all those sepia days of Dead Kennedy and sort of Dickie Nixon flicking the V's.

00:24:01.000 We're talking about modern era.

00:24:03.000 We're talking about Biden, Obama, Trump.

00:24:06.000 We're talking about a corrupt system that has no moral authority to be arresting anybody We're talking about a system that by its own acknowledgement cannot participate in an ICC attempt to arrest Putin for war criminality because their own revelations would inculcate them, not inculcate, would incriminate, incriminate them, would incriminate them.

00:24:26.000 So that's, is that ideal?

00:24:28.000 Could we do better than that?

00:24:29.000 No, it's a difficult system to tinker with.

00:24:32.000 Let's more or less leave it the same.

00:24:33.000 Yeah, I mean you don't see a mainstream, you don't see CNN saying, but let's look at our own crimes, do you?

00:24:38.000 What you see is a CNN piece about them having an arrest warrant out for Putin. 0.95

00:24:43.000 That's why when I personally saw Trump, even though we were doing videos then saying, oh Trump, we don't think this dude's the answer, he seems a bit crazy.

00:24:49.000 It was amazing to see him go, you think our hands are so clean?

00:24:52.000 He would say stuff like that.

00:24:53.000 And like, you know, you'd be in jail.

00:24:55.000 You'd think, oh my God, this guy's going there.

00:24:57.000 Like Chappelle said on SNL, it's like he said stuff like, all the things you think's going on in there, they are going on in there.

00:25:03.000 He, like, Tony Blair, God rest his eternal soul, even though he's still kind of living, had the aphorism, tough on crime, tough on the causes of crime.

00:25:11.000 Now, obviously that was a sort of a bit of rhetoric designed to assure potential new voters that they wouldn't allow law and order.

00:25:18.000 We all know what that means, right guys?

00:25:19.000 Issues would rise to the forefront.

00:25:22.000 But it's an interesting piece of language, I think, because in order to address Trump, you have to address the conditions that led to Trump.

00:25:29.000 The sense of despair, the alienation, the isolation, the inequality, the entropy, the corruption, the institutionalised hypocrisy.

00:25:38.000 And they're not willing to have those conversations, so therefore you get Trump.

00:25:42.000 So instead of like, oh Trump, like you watch any mainstream left-leaning liberal establishment show, even entertainment ones today, they'll be just telling you how bad Trump is.

00:25:51.000 Maybe they'll be doing some jokes about like how Putin should be arrested.

00:25:54.000 What they won't be telling you is this.

00:25:57.000 That any war crimes trial, if you're going to nick Putin, should start with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and the United Arab Emirates Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed.

00:26:08.000 They initiated a brutal war of aggression against Yemen in which upwards of 400,000 civilians have died.

00:26:13.000 The principal accomplices, always knowledgeable and sometimes enthusiastic, of the royal killers were Presidents Barack Obama Donald Trump and Joe Biden, whose administration serviced the US-provided warplanes, supplied munitions used to bomb weddings, funerals, school buses, and other civilian targets, gave intelligence use for targeting, and for a time refueled Saudi and Emirati aircraft.

00:26:33.000 So that is recent participation.

00:26:35.000 People that are still like bowling about.

00:26:37.000 Obama's got a Netflix deal.

00:26:38.000 Biden's in the White House.

00:26:40.000 Trump's being arrested, not for war crimes, But for hush money paid to Stormy Daniels.

00:26:44.000 So what does your culture value?

00:26:46.000 What do your systems prioritise and prize?

00:26:49.000 What are the principles around which our society is organised and could we improve it?

00:26:53.000 These are the questions that we give to you.

00:26:55.000 These are the questions that we want answered.

00:26:57.000 Join us in the chat and join us in our locals community for access to all sorts of other content.

00:27:02.000 Yeah, that's exactly it.

00:27:03.000 And what we were talking about earlier is that, you know, the situation with Trump being arrested, the thing they don't talk about is they don't talk about Yemen, because what Yemen highlights is that Obama was a huge part of it.

00:27:14.000 I mean, look at all the drone strikes under Obama.

00:27:17.000 Our literal current president is doing fist bumps with the Saudi leaders.

00:27:21.000 Did he do a fist bump?

00:27:22.000 He did a fist bump with a Saudi leader.

00:27:24.000 He did do that!

00:27:25.000 He did do that!

00:27:26.000 That's the narrative that just isn't told.

00:27:28.000 Gareth, I've come up with a catchphrase that I think is going to be helpful to changing the consciousness of the American public, in particular those that watch mainstream media outlets like CNN.

00:27:37.000 Get Don Lemon to talk about Yemen.

00:27:37.000 Go on, mate.

00:27:40.000 Nice.

00:27:40.000 Yeah?

00:27:41.000 Get Don Lemon to talk about Yemen.

00:27:43.000 It's catchy.

00:27:44.000 That's what I would say.

00:27:45.000 It's catchy.

00:27:45.000 It's catchy, but will it catch on?

00:27:48.000 That's the real issue, I suppose.

00:27:50.000 Shall we move now?

00:27:51.000 Sure.

00:27:52.000 Are we going to show our presentation?

00:27:54.000 Here's the news.

00:27:55.000 Before Glenn Greenwald, yeah, we probably are, do you want to hear a little bit about Raccoon Dog?

00:28:00.000 Raccoon Dog is the new culprit Yeah, there's Raccoon Dog.

00:28:04.000 Of course it was him all along.

00:28:05.000 He's even wearing a Zorro-style mask. 0.98

00:28:07.000 He's a bandit.

00:28:08.000 It's Raccoon Dog is the new stooge in Who To Blame Other Than Scientific Ineptitude at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, funded by the NIH and ICT.

00:28:19.000 Double funded by you, actually, because I used taxpayer money to fund some of this experiment.

00:28:24.000 I mean, even when I'm saying this, this is one of the things I'm glad we're on Rumble, because I'm not sure how this could be... Is this right?

00:28:29.000 Taxpayers paid for the EcoHealth Alliance or for the NIH to do gain-of-function research in Wuhan twice, and...

00:28:37.000 If that virus came out of there, that ain't good.

00:28:39.000 Now they're coming up with all sorts of convoluted excuses comparable to the magic bullet theory made famous by the movie JFK.

00:28:47.000 Fauci's like, I suppose it could have come from that lab, someone could have left the lab, gone and done some bad research in the caves, gone back to the lab, then they've gone home, kissed their wife on the snout, then they've gone to the wet market, still with maybe mucus on their lip, they kiss a raccoon dog, or one of them Penhaligon's one of those crazy little bald armadillo creatures is.

00:29:06.000 That's when you get yourself one hell of a coronavirus.

00:29:11.000 Yeah, if you hang, if you all the while, while watching Fauci talk about the coronavirus, think, is this dude trying to avoid personal blame for this?

00:29:19.000 It all makes a lot more sense, doesn't it?

00:29:21.000 Do you think Mate, did you invest in that lab?

00:29:23.000 Oh no, listen, what could have happened is someone at that lab there, maybe it was go to work on roller skates day, they roller skate in at work, they slip right out, oh my god, what's that on their finger-tippy-two-toes?

00:29:34.000 Have a look, is this bit of mainstream media news, this patronising graphic, or is this just a still?

00:29:40.000 That's just a still, is it?

00:29:43.000 This is Fauci making those claims.

00:29:45.000 That's the raccoon dog. 0.65

00:29:47.000 On the mainstream news, we'll just show you this.

00:29:48.000 The mainstream news, right, did this thing of how the raccoon dog could potentially have given the virus to a woman.

00:29:55.000 There's no evidence, mind.

00:29:57.000 It's not like they've gone and done some research, and actually this woman, she's been carrying on with raccoon dog in ways that you just wouldn't credit.

00:30:04.000 It just said it might have been from a raccoon dog.

00:30:07.000 And then to exemplify the issue, they've used the graphic, have a look at it, that is insultingly non-additive to the argument, presenting as it does, the silhouette of a raccoon dog, an arrow, and then a woman.

00:30:22.000 So how exactly... Listen, we can't understand this, we're just ordinary people.

00:30:26.000 How exactly would coronavirus get from a raccoon dog to a woman?

00:30:31.000 Well, if you see over there, that is a raccoon dog, and then it could go from the raccoon dog to all the way across there to the woman. 0.89

00:30:41.000 No, that's not that bit yet, you poor sweet people.

00:30:43.000 That's the alternative magic bullet theory.

00:30:46.000 A Lambly could be... 1.00

00:30:48.000 What's going on in there, do you think?

00:30:50.000 The debrief's going to be better than the show.

00:30:50.000 Who knows?

00:30:52.000 You know what I think's happened?

00:30:53.000 Raccoon Dog's got in there. 0.99

00:30:55.000 It's got into our gallery.

00:30:57.000 It's causing mayhem in our gallery.

00:30:59.000 That's one theory.

00:31:00.000 That's one theory that I think will be being advanced in about 30 minutes.

00:31:03.000 Let's watch the news report.

00:31:09.000 The East Asian raccoon dog, a relative of the fox, may hold the key to the origins of COVID-19, according to a group of scientists quoted in The Atlantic magazine.

00:31:18.000 The team says their new analysis of samples taken at a Wuhan market in the early days of the pandemic is a really strong indication that infected animals were there, including raccoon dogs.

00:31:29.000 The findings support the theory that COVID-19 jumped from animals to humans.

00:31:34.000 But researchers... The graphic's not giving you enough, is it?

00:31:37.000 No, it isn't.

00:31:38.000 No, if I watch the news, I want a little more science in my graphic.

00:31:43.000 Yeah, like that's, I'm going to watch the news a little more discerningly now, because remember what I said a minute ago about parentalism?

00:31:51.000 That's how I would explain raccoon dog to my children.

00:31:55.000 What is it daddy?

00:31:56.000 I said bit of a dog, bit of a raccoon.

00:31:58.000 Why does it exist?

00:31:59.000 Because it's convenient for it to exist.

00:32:01.000 Why have we Have we never heard of it before?

00:32:03.000 Because it's never been relevant before.

00:32:05.000 Why are they bringing this to the forefront of public knowledge?

00:32:08.000 Because it's gaining momentum.

00:32:10.000 The Wuhan Institute of Virology caused that lab and it had significant funding from people

00:32:13.000 directly involved in the response to the pandemic, which means that they were not only culpable

00:32:17.000 for causing the pandemic, but subsequently profited from the pandemic.

00:32:20.000 And that would be such glaring evidence that the entire system is corrupt, that people

00:32:24.000 might rise up in the streets, refuse to cooperate in unprecedented levels, be willing to overlook

00:32:30.000 their cultural differences in a new war against the establishment authority.

00:32:34.000 I see.

00:32:35.000 This raccoon dog, where exactly does it live?

00:32:37.000 It lives in Fauci's mind, rent-free internet.

00:32:42.000 I like this dynamic between you and your little daughter.

00:32:47.000 That's, that was a conglomerate of, that was a sort of a, that was a hybrid of both of my children actually.

00:32:53.000 I could not get either one of them to cooperate. 0.97

00:32:55.000 It's hard enough to get one to say here's the fucking news for that sting to tell you the truth. 0.98

00:33:00.000 The amount of cajoling that that took. 0.98

00:33:03.000 Um, should we look at that?

00:33:05.000 Should we look at Fauci doing the magic bullet stuff?

00:33:07.000 Yeah.

00:33:09.000 A lab leak could be that someone was out in the wild Phone don't sound right for a scientist.

00:33:18.000 Therebly could be someone is out in the wild.

00:33:23.000 He's improvising already isn't he on the news about this another way that this could have happened.

00:33:29.000 Okay so like this is like this is what I'll call the adulterer's textbook well those Prophylactics could have got in the bin because a jackdaw was using used prophylactics to make its nest.

00:33:45.000 A spermy little dwelling place high in the sky.

00:33:49.000 He's trying to build the nest.

00:33:51.000 The jackdaw drops him.

00:33:52.000 It gets stuck on our maid's slipper.

00:33:55.000 The maid comes into the room.

00:33:57.000 She puts the slipper in the bin.

00:33:59.000 You find them in the trash and accuse me.

00:34:02.000 Not necessarily me or Fauci because I could be anywhere at this point.

00:34:06.000 Oh yeah, that makes sense. 0.97

00:34:08.000 Or have you been having sex and you've put that prophylactic in the bin? 0.94

00:34:12.000 It's that, isn't it? 0.99

00:34:13.000 Was it with the maid?

00:34:14.000 I just want to know.

00:34:15.000 In my mind...

00:34:17.000 No, but like, I didn't, I didn't actually, I didn't have... No.

00:34:20.000 It was actually with a raccoon dog.

00:34:22.000 In my mind, a very sexy... You saw how those raccoon dogs dressed. 0.97

00:34:25.000 What do they expect coming in there?

00:34:26.000 Dressed like little banditos?

00:34:28.000 Dressed a little bit like... Especially the one on the news where it had a fluffy, like... Beautiful.

00:34:33.000 Very voluptuous.

00:34:34.000 Hi, I'm a raccoon dog!

00:34:36.000 Don't come too close though!

00:34:38.000 Don't touch these goods!

00:34:40.000 If you got a weak, weak respiratory system or comorbidities, you're gonna go down fast! 1.00

00:34:46.000 If only there was some medicine that was mandated near us, dammit! 0.99

00:34:51.000 Then you'll all be safe! 0.99

00:34:53.000 Raccoon dog, you've done it again.

00:34:55.000 You've ruined another life.

00:34:56.000 Maybe looking for different types of viruses and bats, got infected, went into a lab, and was being studied in the lab, and then came out of the lab.

00:35:06.000 But if that's the definition of a lab leak... It isn't!

00:35:09.000 That's your definition of a lab leak.

00:35:10.000 All the while they've been saying, follow the science, follow the science.

00:35:13.000 What they've meant is, follow the science that we will afford you access.

00:35:15.000 access to. Even Robert Redfield's testimony revealed that they were considering alternative

00:35:20.000 narratives right at the beginning of this. They were considering lab leak theory himself.

00:35:23.000 He's talking now like lab leak theory is like some mad mouse trap, like the Doc Brown machine

00:35:30.000 that dispenses dog food at the beginning of Back to the Future.

00:35:34.000 Okay, Marty McFly comes in, he presses a button, a cuckoo comes out of a clock, it knocks a ping-pong ball forward, it rolls down, and then Einstein the dog gets his dog meat.

00:35:44.000 Yeah, could have been that, mate.

00:35:45.000 Or maybe they had dodgy air conditioning at that Wuhan Institute of Virology, or people weren't following safety measures that were stringent enough, and there's a bloody pandemic, and it's embarrassing because you partially funded the experiments that have led Or maybe they were just having a massive party and things got- because they were getting paid twice the amount of money they should have been paying.

00:36:05.000 Both lots of money!

00:36:06.000 So maybe they just had some big party in there and things got knocked over and who knows?

00:36:09.000 Hey look we did an invoice for this money from America but look they've sent it again!

00:36:14.000 It's time to P-A-R-T-Y! 1.00

00:36:14.000 Woohoo! 1.00

00:36:17.000 Now maybe that party, they went down to the wet market and got one of those Panhalicans, and you know what they're like over there. 1.00

00:36:24.000 They'd have lifted up its little snifter. 0.98

00:36:26.000 They use it like ammonitrate.

00:36:27.000 They'd have been sniffing away at its back door, and that's the way you get yourself a Pandemic Baby! 1.00

00:36:34.000 He's gone.

00:36:35.000 He's gone in the imagery.

00:36:38.000 That's what was bound to happen eventually, wasn't it?

00:36:40.000 If we kept doing a show, eventually someone was going to say something like that.

00:36:43.000 It's like those typewriters and monkeys and all that stuff.

00:36:46.000 Eventually someone says things like that.

00:36:48.000 So let's have a look at Fauci's version of it, just to justify the version of the graphic that we've spent some time creating.

00:36:54.000 What Fauci thinks, here's an alternative theory, what could happen is a woman meets that raccoon dog, a needlessly naked woman, might we add.

00:37:02.000 Then what happens is they go to the lab, look at that, do some experiments, that's what that looks like.

00:37:07.000 Then she goes home to her family, maybe she Have a little kiss and cuddle and stuff like that.

00:37:11.000 There she is.

00:37:12.000 She's making a little bit of the sweet love down there. 0.79

00:37:12.000 Look at that heart. 0.79

00:37:15.000 And then next, what happens is she goes out and about.

00:37:18.000 Maybe that was a wet market down there to her house or whatever. 1.00

00:37:20.000 Then what happens?

00:37:21.000 Global pandemic.

00:37:22.000 You're staying in your house for ages and ages till you learn to comply with all of our centralised edicts.

00:37:28.000 Don't challenge authority.

00:37:29.000 Become an obedient, servile little prisoner of the state.

00:37:33.000 I can see why folks should get paid all that money now.

00:37:35.000 I mean, these are brilliant theories.

00:37:36.000 That is a good idea.

00:37:37.000 That's so hard to make that.

00:37:39.000 That's why you've had to spend two years sitting in your house.

00:37:42.000 That's why your children weren't educated properly.

00:37:44.000 That's why your small businesses failed.

00:37:46.000 That's why a five trillion dollar wealth transfer flew in the wrong direction, upward of you in the wrong direction.

00:37:53.000 Shall we have a look now at the reporting around the events of January the 6th and see the kind of media biases that were at play there?

00:38:01.000 Well, the only thing I'd say is it's 20 to 6.

00:38:03.000 So don't do that.

00:38:04.000 I don't know, maybe we need to speak to Glenn.

00:38:06.000 What do you think?

00:38:07.000 Well, get to Glenn Greenwald.

00:38:08.000 What do we think?

00:38:09.000 Yeah, get Glenn Greenwald!

00:38:10.000 All right.

00:38:11.000 Oh, Glenn Greenwald ain't here.

00:38:12.000 They've been too scared to tell us.

00:38:14.000 They've been too scared to tell us because I've seen that for the first time I've probably sort of shown a little bit of irritation on screen.

00:38:21.000 Although you've done very good managing of all this, keeping my moods on track, haven't you?

00:38:25.000 Over the course of the day, it's all part of the job.

00:38:25.000 Oh, well.

00:38:28.000 Well, ultimately, we're all going to die, so I suppose there's no point in getting too worked up about anything, really, if that's the baseline.

00:38:34.000 The interesting thing about what we're about to see is along similar lines.

00:38:38.000 We're kind of talking about Trump and the phenomenon of Trump and January 6th, and asking, really, in terms of truth, what are we... double standards, you know, ultimately, like, what footage are we allowed to see?

00:38:50.000 We're only allowed to see one version of it.

00:38:52.000 So that's what we'll be kind of getting into.

00:38:55.000 In this, because...

00:38:56.000 Whether or not, wherever you stand on the Capitol, in fact, this is maybe, this is a new philosophical device.

00:39:01.000 I can't believe we're inventing this.

00:39:02.000 Let's work out if we're inventing this.

00:39:04.000 Don't concentrate on the subject.

00:39:07.000 Like, whether it's, you know, vaccines, vaccine hesitancy, war in Russia, Trump, Capitol Hill.

00:39:07.000 Yes.

00:39:13.000 Like, because it comes with a certain amount of cultural heat.

00:39:15.000 That cultural heat will contaminate you and infect you and you'll start feeling certain stuff like, I hate Trump or I love Trump or whatever it is.

00:39:22.000 Try to observe that.

00:39:24.000 That's where spirituality becomes relevant.

00:39:25.000 That's why my conversation with Cornel West was good.

00:39:27.000 If you ain't watched the Cornel West episode yet, you should watch it.

00:39:30.000 And if you ain't a member of our community, you should join it because we do things like live shows with Graham Hancock.

00:39:33.000 You can come Watch it literally with us in the room.

00:39:36.000 Lean over and touch Graham Hancock.

00:39:37.000 He ain't gonna mind, is he?

00:39:38.000 He might.

00:39:39.000 Oh, no, don't touch Graham Hancock.

00:39:40.000 He might mind.

00:39:40.000 We don't know.

00:39:41.000 Anyway, I'm saying there's benefits to being a member of our community.

00:39:43.000 So we're saying, whatever the subject of the story is, don't get bogged down in that.

00:39:47.000 Just look at the behaviour around it.

00:39:49.000 So if, like, for example, with the Capitol Hill, all you have to decide is, do I want to be shown all of the footage before I decide?

00:39:55.000 Am I capable of discerning for myself?

00:39:58.000 Does one side of this argument seem particularly biased towards censorship?

00:40:02.000 You know, and that doesn't mean, again, just to tell you for a final, not for a final, but another time, we don't think that the answer here is, and that's why you should vote Republican.

00:40:10.000 That is not what we think.

00:40:11.000 I've never voted for a right-wing person.

00:40:12.000 I've never endorsed a right-wing person.

00:40:14.000 Happened to me recently.

00:40:15.000 I didn't really even talk to any, but I have done lately and they're all absolutely delightful.

00:40:20.000 I've mostly discovered some of the sweetest, kindliest, most adorable people I've ever encountered.

00:40:27.000 So let's have a look now at the farrago surrounding Tucker Carlson's reporting on Jan 6.

00:40:32.000 Again, try to keep your focus on the way that it's being reported, the way that it's being handled, and let us know in the comments and chat if you like the way that we are handling it.

00:40:42.000 Here's the news.

00:40:42.000 No, here's the effing news.

00:40:43.000 Have a look.

00:40:51.000 Is it the worst thing that's ever happened since 9-11?

00:40:55.000 Since the American Civil War?

00:40:56.000 And do you get any objective reporting on it?

00:40:59.000 Is it wrong to riot?

00:41:00.000 I would say it is.

00:41:01.000 Is it wrong to use riots to implement favorable bills and fund a new internal army?

00:41:08.000 I would say it is.

00:41:09.000 Let's have an objective look at January 6 and the way it's being used by the establishment.

00:41:16.000 Now, January 6th has been in the news a lot, not just because of the event itself, but because of the way that it has been reported.

00:41:22.000 For the sake of clarity, my general opinion is this.

00:41:26.000 It's wrong to be violent under any circumstances.

00:41:28.000 It's wrong to hurt other people.

00:41:30.000 It's simply wrong.

00:41:30.000 It's wrong.

00:41:31.000 I would never advocate for violence.

00:41:33.000 However, I also believe that American democracy is in real trouble, and I don't have a sense of sanctimony around the buildings, symbols, and epitomization of American democracy.

00:41:44.000 Our democracy!

00:41:46.000 We were doing so well!

00:41:48.000 That's where we accept all our lobbying money!

00:41:50.000 That's where we accept donations from!

00:41:52.000 But what we want to know is, how is this story being used?

00:41:56.000 Is it being used to pass laws, for example?

00:41:59.000 Is it being used to raise funds, for example?

00:42:02.000 Is it being used to divide people?

00:42:04.000 And more generally on the subject of censorship, do you want to be given information and decide for yourself what you believe, or do you want someone to decide on your behalf what information you're able to see?

00:42:15.000 Now, you know that I went on Tucker Carlson recently and I personally found him a very convivial and enjoyable person to be around.

00:42:22.000 With the subject of January 6th, it's pretty obvious that you could take footage of an event and show footage that made the riot look more peaceful.

00:42:29.000 Or you could show footage that made it look worse.

00:42:31.000 So I'm aware of what censorship means and what editorialization means.

00:42:35.000 So let's try, amidst that understanding, as well as our General cynicism and weariness around, in particular, the corporatization of American democracy and how ill-deserved any sanctimony around those institutions are, while still respecting that we shouldn't, as human beings, be harming or hurting one another.

00:42:50.000 Let's have a look at this story, how it's being portrayed, who's using it, and to what end, and see if together we can come to some sort of consensus around what January 6th actually was, how it should be reported, and how it's being used.

00:43:01.000 Misleading and offensive, that is how the Capitol Police Chief Tom Manger described the presentation of footage from the January 6, 2021 attack on the Capitol on Fox last night.

00:43:12.000 I'm always concerned when a news outlet accuses another news outlet of being misleading because, as you know, I believe that they're all equally misleading or to varying degrees misleading.

00:43:24.000 Who cares?

00:43:24.000 They're all misleading.

00:43:25.000 And the idea of offensive, that's linguistic lobbying for censorship, that is.

00:43:29.000 And I'm assuming what he's saying is offensive to the people who died or were injured.

00:43:32.000 But I don't believe that, because that presumes a particular outcome.

00:43:35.000 We can't show you this footage, it's offensive!

00:43:38.000 No, show me the footage, I can handle being offended.

00:43:40.000 I'll look at the footage, and I'll form an opinion based on what I think.

00:43:43.000 Not a curated idea.

00:43:45.000 Now, of course, I'm not saying that Tucker Carlson is objective.

00:43:48.000 Tucker Carlson has a perspective.

00:43:50.000 I understand that what Tucker Carlson thinks is both the Republican Party and Democrat Party and mainstream media are so corrupt that you can't discern truth.

00:43:57.000 And in these areas, I agree with him.

00:43:58.000 And when I was on his show, I talked about the areas where I don't agree with him.

00:44:01.000 Cultural ideas and homelessness.

00:44:02.000 And guess what?

00:44:03.000 We had a conversation.

00:44:04.000 As far as I know, no one died.

00:44:05.000 So perhaps what we can have is open, honest conversations where we're presented with evidence For the second night in a row.

00:44:10.000 For the second night in a row.

00:44:11.000 More control, more authorisation, more censorship, more prescriptive realities.

00:44:16.000 For the second night in a row.

00:44:18.000 For the second night in a row!

00:44:19.000 Almost as if he's on TV every night.

00:44:22.000 Nightly news programs tend to happen on consecutive nights.

00:44:25.000 Don't editorialise that.

00:44:26.000 For the second night in a row!

00:44:28.000 And we can only assume that the next night he'll be doing more stories!

00:44:31.000 That shows that there's the application of hysteria and hyperbole in the rendering of simple information.

00:44:37.000 Fox News host Tucker Carlson used his exclusive access to more than 40,000 hours of video from January 6th to create an alternative reality of what many witnessed.

00:44:48.000 It's not an alternative reality, is it?

00:44:50.000 It's an alternative perspective.

00:44:51.000 He's not Quetzalcoatl. 0.89

00:44:53.000 He's not a Mexican Feather God shaman.

00:44:55.000 Woah! 0.99

00:44:56.000 Look at reality!

00:44:57.000 Now everyone's made of waffles!

00:44:59.000 It's just Tucker Carlson showed stuff that hadn't been shown before in the same way they're doubling down on the smashing of the windows.

00:45:05.000 According to the footage, people did smash windows.

00:45:07.000 We can see that.

00:45:08.000 And according to footage, people did show that shaman around.

00:45:11.000 Both of those things are true.

00:45:12.000 Presumably, one media outlet has a vested interest in seeing the windows getting smashed, and another media outlet has a vested interest in showing people being shown around.

00:45:20.000 So of course, it's possible that the shaman dude was being shown around because the police had been told, look, don't escalate this anymore.

00:45:26.000 Keep things chill.

00:45:27.000 That's perfectly possible, isn't it? 0.98

00:45:29.000 But what it also shows is that when they were in the capital, they weren't all of the time running around like aaaah, roaring and shitting on flags or getting George Washington to go, I HATE AMERICA!

00:45:39.000 The whole thing was clearly in its own weird strange way underwritten by a type of patriotism and ultimately a result of, I would say, ongoing escalating tensions Hello there, you awakening wonders.

00:46:52.000 Can you hear that?

00:46:53.000 That's the sound of youth returning.

00:46:57.000 Hey, listen, we've got Glenn Greenwald here.

00:46:59.000 All right, Glenn.

00:47:01.000 Russell!

00:47:02.000 What have you got on in the background?

00:47:05.000 Like, I mean, the audio.

00:47:07.000 Not that telly.

00:47:08.000 The audio.

00:47:08.000 Are you watching something?

00:47:11.000 No, of course not.

00:47:12.000 My attention is completely undivided on your show.

00:47:14.000 What would I be watching?

00:47:16.000 Seems a bit hurtful, Glenn, because when you've been sticking up for me on Twitter, I was beginning to think that we were really... No, no, I was literally listening to your show.

00:47:23.000 I don't have anything going on in the background. 0.99

00:47:26.000 Bullshit! 1.00

00:47:27.000 Here we are, Russell. 1.00

00:47:28.000 Let's look forward, not backward.

00:47:31.000 See, that's authoritative.

00:47:32.000 That was authoritative.

00:47:33.000 I learned that from Obama when justifying why he wouldn't prosecute the CIA for their torture program.

00:47:39.000 Well, let's look forward, not backwards at all of our tortures we've done and lies we've told, or quantitative easing.

00:47:44.000 Let's look forward, naively.

00:47:46.000 Mate, what do you think's been going on then lately with the shutting down of dissenting voices in particular?

00:47:52.000 Are we going to call them colleagues, cohorts, mates, Matt Taibbi and Michael Schellenberger?

00:47:56.000 What do you think of the way that whole congressional hoo-ha went down? 0.98

00:48:02.000 I mean, I think there's this inherent problem with these congressional hearings, which is that in reality, members of Congress have almost no power or authority, notwithstanding the loftiness of their title.

00:48:13.000 The only power they ever actually get to wield is when they have witnesses before them and

00:48:18.000 they control the six minutes that they're given with completely unlimited authority.

00:48:24.000 And as we know, and especially when human beings feel powerless, the little tiny power

00:48:29.000 they have, they often abuse it.

00:48:31.000 We've seen this, you know, in all kinds of circumstances.

00:48:34.000 So basically, all they do is they hector these witnesses, they heap all kinds of accusatory

00:48:41.000 slurs upon them.

00:48:42.000 And then when the witnesses go to answer, they say, I didn't let you speak.

00:48:46.000 This is my time, reclaiming my time. 0.95

00:48:48.000 It's the most pathetic and cowardly display imaginable to publicly brand, no pun intended, somebody in the most insulting ways possible and then refuse to let them answer.

00:48:59.000 But I thought it was very telling that the Democrats explicitly made clear That the reason they regard these journalists and the ones who work with them revealing the Twitter files as nefarious and threats to the public order is because they believe the censorship regime that those journalists expose, the one that entails the U.S. 0.85

00:49:19.000 security state, the CIA, the FBI, Homeland Security, colluding with big tech to police the internet, is very noble and necessary.

00:49:27.000 And if you believe that about a secret program, The way, for example, lots of people believe the secret spying programs we revealed as part of the Snowden reporting were noble.

00:49:37.000 You're going to be angry at the journalist who revealed it, and that was the most revealing part about that hearing, was how explicitly supportive the Democratic Party is of this censorship regime.

00:49:49.000 Glenn, in today's show we have been discussing the nature of centralised authority, it's growing ubiquity, it's clearly becoming more radical in the enforcement of its edicts and ideals, yet its legitimacy seems shakier than ever.

00:50:08.000 The threatened and presumed arrest of Trump is one way that we can discern this waning of actual legitimate authority and as it continues to double down.

00:50:20.000 Obviously, the neglect of the comparable Russiagate steel dossier stuff is an aspect of this we've covered.

00:50:27.000 But as it's happening at the same time as a warrant has been issued for the arrest of Putin, it's difficult not to look at comparable war crimes.

00:50:34.000 We used this piece today about, I think it's from Cato.org, talking about how Biden, Trump, Obama

00:50:43.000 have all been explicitly involved in the UAE, bombing of Yemen.

00:50:49.000 I suppose what I would like your perspective on, Glenn, is the decline of trust in authority

00:50:56.000 and almost the assumption now that there is no central body that has the right to execute that kind of power.

00:51:04.000 And if that is something that's real and legitimate, and if you feel that it's true as well, what does that tell us about where we are and where we have to get to?

00:51:12.000 Yeah, it's a very interesting paradox, isn't it, that secure, confident institutions of authority can give the people over whom they rule a greater degree of freedom because they know that those people, by and large, trust those institutions and they're not endangered and threatened as a result.

00:51:33.000 When those institutions fall into pervasive disrepute, when they're held in contempt, as is the case quite validly for most Western political and media institutions, that's precisely when they become even more authoritarian, when they start cracking down further on dissent because they're afraid.

00:51:51.000 And instead of trying to determine what is the root cause of this loss of faith and trust and confidence, when's the last time you heard anyone who works in corporate media They're very good at lamenting the fact that the public no longer trusts them.

00:52:07.000 They're very good at blaming other people for the fact that the public no longer trusts them.

00:52:12.000 When's the last time you heard any of them in any earnest way engage in self-reflection?

00:52:17.000 What is it that we did to lose the trust and faith of the public?

00:52:21.000 Or when is any government official Done that.

00:52:24.000 They watched Donald Trump get elected.

00:52:25.000 Clearly an expression, as I heard you saying earlier, of this kind of despair.

00:52:31.000 Brexit was certainly the same thing. 0.73

00:52:34.000 This kind of, we don't care what the consequences are.

00:52:36.000 We believe the status quo is so corrupt and contemptuous of us that whatever you tell us we shouldn't do, we're going to do the opposite.

00:52:43.000 There was definitely a lot of that in terms of how Bolsonaro got elected in Brazil, across the democratic world.

00:52:49.000 And so instead of ever asking, why are people losing faith and trust in us, they instead want to demonize the population.

00:52:58.000 They're racist.

00:52:59.000 They're dangerous. 1.00

00:53:00.000 They're engaged in terrorism.

00:53:02.000 And as a result, we need to crack down more on them.

00:53:04.000 We need to censor the internet more.

00:53:06.000 We need to criminalize dissent more.

00:53:09.000 We need to try and prevent them from choosing their leaders by convicting them and rendering them ineligible.

00:53:14.000 And as a result, it's an inescapable cycle that the more they do that, the less trust and faith there is in those institutions of power, and in turn, the more authoritarian they feel they need to be.

00:53:26.000 And I think that's the cycle that we're currently in, and it can actually be very cleansing.

00:53:31.000 I think it's good that people finally are seeing that Western institutions of authority merit their contempt and not respect.

00:53:38.000 But it can also create a lot of instability and dangerous outcomes as well because demagogues and others can cleverly exploit that for nefarious ends.

00:53:49.000 But ultimately, they have no one but themselves to blame.

00:53:52.000 And I think you're right.

00:53:53.000 Their solution, instead of trying to fix it, is to just use force to crack down on those who want to challenge them.

00:53:59.000 While there has been no public mea culpa from any of those organisations as you listed, whether they are media or political, and certainly, obviously, not corporate, I find it impossible to consider that they haven't privately taken place, that they haven't got within their circles, amongst their elders, amongst their highest intellects, people that are considering, oh no, the reason we've lost authority is because we've become corrupted, because the relationship between the corporate world and the state and the media has become too porous, and people are now realising it because it's So easy for counter-narratives to emerge whether through credible and established journalists like yourself or new emergent voices or members of the public.

00:54:36.000 They must understand that they are making the decision to double down on authoritarianism and censorship and smearing opponents and dissenting voices.

00:54:43.000 So Glenn, why is it that that choice has been made and what does that tell us about the likely trajectory over the coming years?

00:54:51.000 I mean in particular with regard to the likelihood of More pandemics, more legitimisation of authoritarianism.

00:54:58.000 Because if you consider that they must have access to the kind of reflection and contemplation that has just been shared by you, they must, they must know that, they must surely on some level, and they've elected not to explore it or express it, then there must be an alternative route.

00:55:15.000 I know I'm making so many assumptions there, but that's what I do for a job.

00:55:20.000 So what do you think about that and what do you think it means about where we're going if they haven't got that reflection or they're not willing to express it?

00:55:28.000 Yeah, I'm not sure.

00:55:29.000 I do fully agree with that assumption, namely that these elites, because they're so smart, and I'm sure a lot of them are quite smart, Because they have this kind of sophisticated understanding of the world, it must mean that they realize they bear some of the culpability for what has happened.

00:55:47.000 I think oftentimes, to the contrary, especially when you have kind of an insular elite, an increasingly insular elite that is more and more removed from the rest of the society, you know, kind of the Versailles dynamic where you just kind of haul yourself up in a royal court.

00:56:04.000 And think that the anger outside of the gates is just whiny, petulant, unjustified resentment and not grounded in legitimate grievances.

00:56:14.000 A lot of elite classes throughout history have thought that about the populations over whom they were so abusively ruling.

00:56:22.000 It's not so much an intellectual failing, it's a psychological failing.

00:56:25.000 It's an inability to accept blame.

00:56:28.000 And oftentimes, the smarter someone is, the more kind of awarded they are with position and privilege and prestige and award, the more convinced they become of their own infallibility.

00:56:40.000 And the more they genuinely believe that anybody angry with them or dissatisfied with them must, by definition, be somebody whose thinking is misguided or who has poor character and who therefore needs to be controlled, who therefore needs to be constrained and limited And what it is they can do is, almost though, is proof.

00:57:01.000 If you don't think Dr. Fauci is an eminent scientist with great integrity, by definition, you're someone who can't be trusted with free speech.

00:57:08.000 You're someone who can't even be trusted to vote for who you want because the mere fact that you distrust these people, the highest and most renowned and well-regarded elites, is proof That you are broken.

00:57:25.000 That you are somebody who needs leadership and guidance and control and have your liberty deprived of you.

00:57:31.000 And I think the ability to engage in self-critique is something that is contrary to our instinct.

00:57:38.000 is something we have to work to get ourselves to do.

00:57:41.000 And people who are just constantly having their goodness and their wisdom reinforced have no incentive to do that.

00:57:47.000 I mean, Russell, to me, I know like each year that goes by, we all get older, like there's more and more people

00:57:53.000 who haven't lived through it.

00:57:55.000 But the 2003 invasion of Iraq, I think was even more of an eye-opening moment 0.96

00:58:02.000 than the 2008 financial crisis, although they came one after the other

00:58:05.000 and they're probably interconnected and inextricable.

00:58:08.000 But the fact that so many well-intentioned people assumed that when people like Colin Powell and Tony Blair

00:58:14.000 and the New York Times and all the journalists who you're told to trust on both sides of the aisle

00:58:20.000 are all in unison telling you the same thing, and it all turns out to be a lie,

00:58:26.000 And huge numbers of people are murdered because of it.

00:58:29.000 They lose their lives because of it.

00:58:31.000 The regime is—the region is destabilized.

00:58:33.000 ISIS arises.

00:58:35.000 Like, some of the worst possible outcomes imaginable because of the elites and the most well-regarded mistakes.

00:58:40.000 And then you watch those very same people, who to this day aren't just in the same positions of power, but greater positions of power.

00:58:48.000 They suffered no consequences at all.

00:58:52.000 Same with the 2008 financial crisis.

00:58:55.000 Then, of course, you're going to create this breach where you have the elites over here and the masses over here who both distrust and hate them.

00:59:01.000 And the more distrust and hate there is for the elites from the masses, the more the elites believe the masses can't be trusted to make their own choices.

00:59:11.000 And I think that's the tension that's happening.

00:59:13.000 Well then, I agree.

00:59:15.000 Glenn, if that is indeed the case, then what we have is in fact a new aristocracy, a new oligarchy.

00:59:25.000 We have unattainable, unaccountable elites that are not interested in the voices of those they claim to represent.

00:59:32.000 It sounds to me that you're describing, in a sense, the precondition for revolution,

00:59:37.000 the revolution or a type of tyranny and authoritarianism such as the world has never before seen,

00:59:44.000 because it's never had the utility that it currently has.

00:59:48.000 So some of our most dystopic conjecture is legitimized by that trajectory.

00:59:51.000 legitimized by that trajectory when you can observe individuals within that

00:59:53.000 When you can observe individuals within that system advancing on the basis of deception,

00:59:55.000 system advancing on the basis of deception once that fissure that you

00:59:58.000 once that fissure that you described in 2003 and 2008 became more entrenched,

00:59:59.000 described in 03 and 08 had became more entrenched it's almost like it

01:00:02.000 it's almost like it becomes literal farce.

01:00:03.000 becomes literal farce they can't double back and check now too late now just

01:00:05.000 They can't double back and check now.

01:00:07.000 Too late now. Just keep burying the bodies.

01:00:09.000 keep burying the bodies just keep putting the paving slabs over the

01:00:12.000 cadavers it just pave away the truth now if this is the case then is that there's

01:00:18.000 little value in dissecting and discerning between the minutiae that

01:00:26.000 distinguishes the the two parties in fact what's required is a galvanization

01:00:32.000 of a kind of a new populist force is it Glenn or am I doing that speculative

01:00:37.000 thing again no no I mean, I think that's the only project worth pursuing.

01:00:42.000 I mean, that's what I regard my project as being when I wake up every day in terms of my work, is exactly that sort of unifying of people who are being told constantly that they're supposed to hate one another across ideological and cultural and religious and demographic divides.

01:01:02.000 That instead, unifying in that way, that even though you have a bunch of differences on these issues and these inflammatory issues and you call yourself a leftist or a rightist or whatever, and you belong to this party or that party or some other party, the reality is you have so much more in common than you do differences.

01:01:18.000 Namely, your lives are being controlled and exploited and abused.

01:01:21.000 By this very small segment of elite culture, and the only thing that matters is overthrowing their hegemony.

01:01:30.000 And then once a fair system is imposed, you can start kind of grappling with those differences.

01:01:35.000 Until then, you don't have any outlet for doing that.

01:01:37.000 You don't even have the right, the freedom to debate.

01:01:39.000 You don't have the right even to speak.

01:01:41.000 And I mean, that's literally true.

01:01:43.000 And you know, I remember reading a lot when I was younger about the kind of oligarchs of say like the late 19th century and then to the early 20th century, you know, people like Rockefeller and Ford and all those people, they would like go through the streets and they would You know, they were very PR-minded.

01:02:01.000 They would, like, throw dollars out of their cars to the public to try and create favor with the public, to show that they actually cared, that they were people who wanted to help.

01:02:10.000 They were very philanthropic for that same reason.

01:02:12.000 They were very afraid of the masses.

01:02:15.000 They knew that if the system became too extreme, their position would be threatened because you would almost incite a revolution.

01:02:23.000 And they were constantly thinking about how to placate the public just enough To keep the inequality still vast, but them, the public, just enough kind of appeased so they wouldn't do that.

01:02:35.000 And I remember asking an extremely wealthy person I knew who worked in a hedge fund after the 2008 financial crisis when the government under Obama so blatantly acted to benefit and shield the wealthiest people and kind of let the entire middle class and working class get expelled from their homes and evicted and suffer in generational debt.

01:02:52.000 Where did that ethos go?

01:02:54.000 Like, what happened to that?

01:02:55.000 They no longer fear the masses.

01:02:57.000 And what I concluded, and I was writing a book on this actually when the Brazil reporting started, was that basically the elite class has two options.

01:03:05.000 You can appease the anger of the masses to give them just enough to keep them just enough satisfied that they don't want to get off their couch and risk things.

01:03:14.000 Or you can say, you know what? 0.99

01:03:16.000 We don't give a fuck about them. 0.99

01:03:18.000 They probably will get to the point where they want to revolt. 0.97

01:03:21.000 And so our strategy instead will be to militarize, to build a paramilitaristic society where we keep them under constant surveillance.

01:03:31.000 We, you know, make sure that the weapons we have are far greater than the weapons they have, so that if they do actually want to try and do something, they're going to be crushed by force.

01:03:42.000 And that will either deter them and convince them ahead of time it's futile, or if they try it, They will in fact be crushed and clearly the elite class has chosen that second option.

01:03:53.000 Yeah, that's not a heartening note to end on, Glenn.

01:03:56.000 The elites have armed themselves to the teeth. 0.95

01:03:59.000 The glory days where it could be considered compassion to hurl dollar bills out of a limousine, out of rats and scumbags in the gutter, are beyond us. 0.76

01:04:09.000 I think that you're right, as a matter of fact.

01:04:11.000 I suppose that aggregating and powerful new technologies are emerging that further tip the balance of power towards centralised authority.

01:04:22.000 The more...

01:04:23.000 Let me just interject so that I don't go away as, like, the person who's just the bearer of bad news.

01:04:26.000 Like, the reason I fight so much against Internet censorship and Internet surveillance is because I truly believe the technology that we're using right now, the audience that we're building, the sector of, you know, kind of online life and information dissemination that we are a part of, is the thing that provides so much optimism.

01:04:49.000 And they know it, too, which is why they're so devoted To controlling it through censorship, to controlling it through exclusion from the financial system, to demeaning and discrediting us in every single way that they can, because that's the thing by which, from which they feel most threatened.

01:05:05.000 And I think they're right.

01:05:06.000 I think the thing that we're being a part of, that we're a part of building with so many other people, is the thing that is genuinely encouraging.

01:05:14.000 Okay, so new alliances can be formed and what we're doing is valuable, but those trends are pointing to the conclusion that the elites have drawn.

01:05:25.000 Militarise, govern, control, legitimise authority, exploit crises to double down on the ability to regulate.

01:05:34.000 Impugn and impoverish the population both in terms of their diet and the commodities that they consume and the food that they eat and the stuff that they stream.

01:05:43.000 Yeah, okay, well that's good because it makes me feel that we're participating somehow in a radical movement of a new global counterculture where power is decentralized and people run their own communities and have the freedom to disagree with one another.

01:05:56.000 And as you said earlier, those differences can be debated and resolved after meaningful systemic change.

01:06:02.000 Yeah, all right.

01:06:03.000 I mean, I think you overreacted to me saying, oh, that's a bit of a dour note to end on.

01:06:08.000 You didn't even let me do a flourishing speech.

01:06:10.000 You're right in there.

01:06:11.000 I've not used my, please can I talk now sign out of respect for you and your heritage as a journalist and an investigator.

01:06:18.000 That's the first time since he's added that.

01:06:20.000 I like to come on your show and commandeer the platform and make clear that the person who dominates the interview is me.

01:06:24.000 It's just like a kind of, I have a lot of dogs.

01:06:27.000 I learned from my dogs how to mark territory and the like.

01:06:30.000 So maybe it's just that kind of behavior.

01:06:31.000 It's very disrespectful.

01:06:32.000 When you go on other people's shows, you should sit there politely and take on board their points and blindly comply with their agenda.

01:06:39.000 That's the way I do it.

01:06:42.000 Well, yeah, at first, we all saw.

01:06:44.000 Just recently.

01:06:46.000 Thanks, Glenn Greenwald.

01:06:47.000 Glenn Greenwald is our friend and colleague here, and we adore him.

01:06:51.000 He hosts System Update on Rumble.

01:06:53.000 That's available weeknights, every weeknight, or probably, yeah, weeknights.

01:06:56.000 That's the five days.

01:06:57.000 That's the Monday, Tuesday, all that stuff.

01:06:59.000 7pm ET.

01:07:00.000 Ian, I'm going to tell you what time it is, PST.

01:07:02.000 You can also see our item on January the 6th in full after this show on Rumble, because we cut out in the middle because we wanted to get Glenn Greenwald in, especially now we know that he's treating the whole thing as some sort of canine turf war.

01:07:14.000 Interesting link, though, between what Glenn was saying there and the content of the video that our viewers won't have seen yet.

01:07:20.000 But that's exactly the case.

01:07:21.000 The response to the Capitol, whatever you want to call it.

01:07:24.000 Absolutely double down.

01:07:24.000 Double down on authority.

01:07:25.000 Pay the Capitol Police more.

01:07:26.000 You've got to watch this video right after this show.

01:07:28.000 Watch our video on January 6th.

01:07:30.000 You'll love it.

01:07:30.000 We didn't say a proper goodbye to Glenn.

01:07:31.000 Glenn, goodbye.

01:07:32.000 Oh, there he is.

01:07:32.000 Respect.

01:07:32.000 We love it.

01:07:33.000 We didn't say a proper goodbye.

01:07:33.000 Glenn's there.

01:07:35.000 Perhaps you want to use this as an opportunity to do another monologue and berate me for minor inaccuracies.

01:07:40.000 Never that.

01:07:41.000 I feel good about myself today.

01:07:43.000 I love you.

01:07:43.000 Thank you.

01:07:44.000 All right.

01:07:45.000 Bye.

01:07:45.000 Talk to you guys.

01:07:46.000 Cheers.

01:07:46.000 Thanks, Glenn Greenwald.

01:07:47.000 All right.

01:07:48.000 So listen, we've been talking for 67 minutes.

01:07:50.000 That's actually more than we contractually obligated.

01:07:52.000 That's what it's about.

01:07:53.000 We ain't governed by that.

01:07:55.000 We're part of a counter-revolutionary movement.

01:07:57.000 You heard Glenn Greenwald.

01:07:58.000 We'll stay here all night if we have to.

01:08:00.000 Think I've got anywhere to go?

01:08:01.000 That's from the Pulitzer Prize winning journalist who said that.

01:08:03.000 That's right.

01:08:03.000 Another one.

01:08:04.000 They love us, the Pulitzer Prize winners.

01:08:06.000 They're toppling, aren't they, now, day by day.

01:08:08.000 Another one's dubbed a conspiracy theorist.

01:08:10.000 To curse that thing.

01:08:11.000 Bloody yeah, I'd refuse one, even if I was offered one, which I probably will be.

01:08:15.000 On tomorrow's show, we've got Thomas Patterson, Professor of Government and the Press at Harvard University.

01:08:21.000 Sign up to our Locals Community to get access to all sorts of stuff, including my stand-up special, Brandemic, which is on there now.

01:08:26.000 You can watch it literally now.

01:08:27.000 It's really, really funny.

01:08:29.000 Or you can buy it for a one-off fee of $20.

01:08:32.000 Should we show you a little clip of that, or should we go home?

01:08:34.000 Your show.

01:08:35.000 All right, have a look at it then.

01:08:38.000 Like most of you, I went camping in lockdown, right?

01:08:41.000 Did you go camping? 1.00

01:08:42.000 You had to go fucking camping. 1.00

01:08:43.000 Once you've got kids, you might as well go camping, because your holidays are going to be shit anyway. 1.00

01:08:50.000 So your kids will fucking ruin your holiday like they ruin everything else. 1.00

01:08:54.000 That's what they do. 1.00

01:08:56.000 They let you be happy. 1.00

01:08:57.000 All you've done by going on holiday is you've given up your tools that you can control those little fuckers with. 1.00

01:09:05.000 All the things I swore I would never do as a parent. 0.99

01:09:07.000 Like, is there any greater disjunct than the disjunct between who you say you're gonna be as a parent before you have them fuckers, and then who you are as a parent once they show up? 0.96

01:09:17.000 Me, this is me before our kids. 0.96

01:09:19.000 Oh, parents won't let their kids look at screens.

01:09:22.000 That ain't right, is it?

01:09:23.000 You should not let your children look at screens.

01:09:25.000 Nah, that's the devil's lantern, that.

01:09:27.000 Manipulation. 1.00

01:09:28.000 I'm not fucking letting our kids watch screens. 0.99

01:09:30.000 When we have children, I will entertain them with folktales from around Come learn of the indigenous spirits, come thee. 0.99

01:09:30.000 No. 0.99

01:09:43.000 When I have kids, I won't give them chocolate nor sugar.

01:09:45.000 What?

01:09:46.000 The brown and white, the smack and cracker baby world. 1.00

01:09:48.000 Fuck that. 1.00

01:09:51.000 Now I've got them, I'm like, I'll stick Netflix on and give it a fucking rollo, will ya? 1.00

01:09:58.000 ...watch that right now if you want. 0.91

01:10:00.000 If you're a member, you can buy it for $20 or you can just get it as part of the annual membership, which is well worth having, because we do things like, you know, when Graham Hancock comes on, I've had it confirmed, you can just reach over, touch him on the leg.

01:10:10.000 Oh, it's confirmed, is it?

01:10:11.000 Confirm that now.

01:10:12.000 Just touch him on the leg and I say, yeah, what's going on with your two-ton car moon?

01:10:12.000 He's fine with that.

01:10:17.000 You do what you like, you're free!

01:10:18.000 That's what this is about, it's freedom to be you.

01:10:20.000 You can join us like Character Zero, Sensitive Hearts 25, Loving Action, or chatting away there in our locals world, asking us valid questions.

01:10:28.000 I bet there's a good comment from the show.

01:10:29.000 Yeah, there's a couple here on the raccoon theory, the Fauci theory.

01:10:32.000 So Saltflake47 says, could have been a scientist in the wild that got loose from the lab.

01:10:37.000 Nice inversion there.

01:10:38.000 What, the scientist has broke out, he's gone wild?

01:10:40.000 Exactly, rather than the raccoon dog.

01:10:41.000 Because Hulk was a scientist, wasn't he?

01:10:43.000 He just got out of hand one day, didn't he?

01:10:44.000 He did, didn't he?

01:10:45.000 Oh, what'll happen if I eat this? 1.00

01:10:46.000 You idiot Hulk! 1.00

01:10:47.000 Don't test it on yourself! 1.00

01:10:48.000 That'll be Fauci's next theory.

01:10:50.000 It could be Bruce Banner was testing out a new power!

01:10:54.000 Yeah, they're like Spider-Man things, and even Raccoon Dog sounds like a superhero.

01:10:58.000 This guy's called Storf the Badger.

01:11:00.000 which means like i think that he only comments on stories about like things like raccoons go on maybe he says i'm more worried about rabies from that thing lol which yeah maybe you would be you're right he's very specifically because of course badgers mostly it's tuberculosis that you have to worry about from badgers i believe so mate iron I want to say I'm an epidemiologist, but I know what I like, but I'm willing to stick my oar in.

01:11:23.000 OK, so hey, listen, if you're a member of our community, you can watch our exclusive show, Stay Connected, and as we've just confirmed, that you can actually consensually make love with Graham Hancock.

01:11:33.000 He's agreed to it.

01:11:35.000 Very gently, tenderly, and he's actually going to be quite committed to it, he said.

01:11:39.000 And we will have some raccoon dogs, just in case he says no.

01:11:41.000 There will be raccoon dogs.

01:11:42.000 We'll see them, see if they're actually real.

01:11:43.000 Yeah, that's this Wednesday.

01:11:45.000 You can join us live for it and comment and ask Graham questions, or if you're in the car, we gave away tickets for like some pairs of tickets to join us actually live in the room.

01:11:52.000 And if you're watching it right now and you want to come, we'll give one more pair of tickets to you.

01:11:56.000 Might as well do it properly.

01:11:56.000 We're going to do this stuff.

01:11:58.000 If you can answer this question, What is Graham Hancock's favourite position when making love?

01:12:05.000 If you can answer that.

01:12:06.000 Quickly, the first one to send it.

01:12:08.000 Got to be in the locals community.

01:12:10.000 Let's see.

01:12:11.000 Not what is the zombie drug?

01:12:12.000 That's not the answer.

01:12:14.000 And also you have to be available to come to see us because we're in the countryside in Britain.

01:12:17.000 So don't bother saying anything if you're not in the countryside in Britain.

01:12:20.000 Have people thought that that's something you could Google?

01:12:22.000 Doggy.

01:12:23.000 Hold on.

01:12:23.000 Synchronously says doggy.

01:12:26.000 Firegirl says forget it. 1.00

01:12:27.000 Christiana says bent over.

01:12:29.000 The answer is Graham Hancock.

01:12:31.000 It's plain old missionary style.

01:12:34.000 He's a simple man.

01:12:35.000 So have any of you answered that correctly?

01:12:37.000 I mean, have you got the comics, Gav?

01:12:38.000 If someone says, you know, if someone wants to come... No, I haven't got them.

01:12:42.000 No, I haven't.

01:12:42.000 This is a contest.

01:12:44.000 I'm trying to do a contest.

01:12:46.000 Did I just get Spanner in the works with your sex question? 1.00

01:12:48.000 Flakka Synthetic Drug.

01:12:50.000 It says missionary.

01:12:50.000 Someone says it there.

01:12:51.000 Drive Pony.

01:12:52.000 Drive Pony.

01:12:53.000 You can have a pair of tickets.

01:12:54.000 And of course, as an added bonus, you can make sweet love to Graham Hancock.

01:12:59.000 It'd be interesting.

01:13:00.000 Imagine Graham Hancock's watching this.

01:13:02.000 Well, I didn't agree to that.

01:13:03.000 I just wanted to talk about a cataclysmic event.

01:13:07.000 People in the old days was better than us.

01:13:10.000 This is a bad old times.

01:13:11.000 There was a golden age of people.

01:13:13.000 Is that Graham Hancock?

01:13:14.000 I thought you were going to make a joke about a cataclysmic event being an orgasm or something.

01:13:18.000 Who knows? 0.56

01:13:19.000 I don't know how your mind thinks.

01:13:22.000 Sometimes it doesn't even bother to think.

01:13:24.000 OK then, I think that is the end of the show, isn't it?

01:13:27.000 Yes, I would agree.

01:13:27.000 I can't imagine what else we would do at this point.

01:13:29.000 No, I think we've done enough.

01:13:31.000 Join us tomorrow, not for more of the same, but for more of the different.

01:13:33.000 Until then, stay free.

01:13:40.000 Man, you switch it.

01:13:42.000 Man, you switch it.

01:13:45.000 Switch on, switch on.

01:13:46.000 Man, he switchin'.
