Summary

Tristan Tate speaks about his decision to return his stolen lada back to his family. He also talks about the corruption of the justice system in Romania and why he believes he is being targeted by "corrupt opportunistic thieves" who want nothing more than to steal his stuff and put him in jail. He talks about how he feels about the outcome of his case and what he is going to do in the future to get his stolen Lada back. He also explains why he thinks DCOT is a corrupt organization and why they should be held accountable for what they have done to him. And finally, he talks about his plans for the future of his lada and how he plans to return it back to its rightful owner. The lada is a piece of Romanian history, it was purchased by a former member of Nicolae Ceauzeescu's Communist Party in 1979, and it's a valuable piece of history that belongs in the hands of the Romanian people. He wants to pass it down to his children, and if he doesn't get it back, he'll pass it on to them one day, but he can't do that because he's not going to be able to afford to buy another car like that right now, and he's going to have to wait for another one to be made available to him in another country. 00:00:00.000 He makes me turn in the void, void, turn in the void, void, turn in the void.
00:00:07.000 He makes me turn in the void, void, turn in the void, void, turn in the void.
00:00:15.000 They stole everything they could get their hands on.
00:00:18.000 They banned me from seeing my fucking kids.
00:00:21.000 But now, they've really crossed the line.
00:00:24.000 My name is Tristan Tate.
00:00:26.000 Victim of false accusations.
00:00:29.000 Victim of a corrupt justice system.
00:00:33.000 Owner of a stolen Lada.
00:00:36.000 And I will have my vengeance.
00:00:38.000 in this life or the next.
00:00:40.000 I don't want to say it.
00:00:41.000 I don't want to find another way.
00:00:42.000 Make it through the day without you.
00:00:43.000 I, I, I don't want to say it.
00:00:44.000 I don't want to find another way.
00:00:45.000 Make it through the day without you.
00:00:46.000 I, I, I don't want to say it.
00:00:47.000 I don't want to find another way.
00:00:48.000 Make it through the day without you.
00:00:49.000 I, I, I don't want to say it.
00:00:50.000 I don't want to find another way.
00:00:51.000 Make it through the day without you.
00:00:51.000 I, I, I don't want to say it.
00:01:18.000 I, I, I don't want to say it.
00:01:30.000 I'm happy every morning. But I'm especially good today.
00:01:33.000 Because today, I get my larder back.
00:01:36.000 They really crossed a line when they took that car from me.
00:01:38.000 They banned me from seeing my kids.
00:01:40.000 They've locked me in prison. They've done all sorts of things without evidence and tried to ruin my life.
00:01:45.000 But when they took my ladder, you know, I feel like that was just pure abuse.
00:01:50.000 That was a line they shouldn't have crossed.
00:01:51.000 You never touch a man's ladder.
00:01:52.000 What is the story about this ladder?
00:01:55.000 That Lada is a piece of Romanian history.
00:01:58.000 In 1979, it was purchased by a former member of Nicolae Ceaușescu's Communist Party.
00:02:03.000 And three and a half, four years ago, I thought, you know what?
00:02:05.000 I want to own a small piece of Romanian history, so I'm going to purchase myself a Lada.
00:02:10.000 And the gentleman drove the car to my house, and he saw my Bugattis and my McLarens and my Lamborghinis, and he was almost in tears.
00:02:16.000 He was so happy. He was like, you want my car?
00:02:18.000 I said, yes, sir, I do. And he goes, you're going to park it here with all of these cars?
00:02:21.000 And I said, yes sir, I am. And he was so happy to sell me that car.
00:02:25.000 There were almost tears in his eyes.
00:02:27.000 And I've treasured that car ever since.
00:02:28.000 It's a piece of Romanian history.
00:02:30.000 My children are Romanians. I'm going to pass that Lada on to them one day.
00:02:33.000 Everything else I'm getting back isn't important.
00:02:35.000 But the Lada is coming back and I'm exceptionally happy about it.
00:02:38.000 So you don't care about your Lamborghinis and Ferraris and Serratis?
00:02:41.000 I have lots of those. I only have one Lada.
00:02:44.000 The Lada is irreplaceable.
00:02:46.000 Of course, I don't have any other cars, but theoretically I have a bunch of Lamborghinis and McLarens and Maseratis and all of this.
00:02:52.000 I have them. How did you receive the decision yesterday?
00:02:58.000 The decision from the court yesterday was very important and it wasn't just about stealing my stuff because what you have to understand is DCOT as an organization is genuinely very serious and there are people who work for DCOT who are hard-working, diligent people who are taking real criminals off the streets and putting real dangerous people behind bars and I appreciate that.
00:03:18.000 However, in my case Not DCOT as an organization.
00:03:21.000 The individuals behind my case are corrupt, opportunistic thieves.
00:03:26.000 And I've been saying it for two and a half years while the media has been bothering me and asking about imaginary human trafficking.
00:03:32.000 And I feel like the judge's decision yesterday, it's another one in a very long run of good judge's decisions I'm getting.
00:03:38.000 I expect my brother to get another good judge's decision today.
00:03:41.000 Because I think now the tide has turned.
00:03:43.000 I think now everyone's eyes are opened.
00:03:44.000 From the media to the judges and the judicial system where real justice in Romania is delivered, I think they see that I am being targeted by corrupt opportunistic thieves who want nothing more than to steal my stuff and put me in jail and will do anything to put me in jail besides, you know, give me a trial and find me guilty.
00:04:00.000 Four times they've tried to put me in jail and locked me up.
00:04:03.000 Four times, once for over three months.
00:04:05.000 I've never even had a trial.
00:04:07.000 There's not even been a final decision made of whether or not I'm going to have a trial.
00:04:11.000 You know who holds the world record since the year 2000?
00:04:16.000 The world record for American citizens detained and arrested without trial is held by myself and my brother.
00:04:22.000 So I hope that the people at DCOT are proud of themselves, the prosecutors in my case, because they've broken a world record.
00:04:28.000 You know, Russia, China, North Korea have held American citizens without trial.
00:04:32.000 The longest period crossed 632 days, which I've crossed over now about a month and a half ago.
00:04:39.000 Myself and my brother are the longest arrested American citizens since the year 2000 without trial.
00:04:44.000 Romania has beaten China and North Korea.
00:04:46.000 Congratulations! Yes!
00:04:48.000 Well done, prosecutors. You've made your country look really great.
00:04:52.000 You're definitely showing that you're perfectly fair and just people and you just want to catch criminals.
00:04:56.000 I mean, stealing a man's lada for money laundering Do you know how stupid a country looks when they say, look guys, we suspect this guy is laundering money, so we're going to confiscate a car that's worth less than this microphone, a car that's worth less than this guy's shoes.
00:05:13.000 This is our proof of money laundering.
00:05:15.000 You look stupid.
00:05:17.000 You know, I hope the people in Romania are finally waking up.
00:05:19.000 I hope that justice will finally be done very soon.
00:05:21.000 Hopefully this whole thing gets thrown away, and then I can bask in the light of my wave of apologies, which I expect to get from people like the BBC. Where is your money, Tristan?
00:05:33.000 Oh, I don't have any money. They took everything.
00:05:35.000 Yeah, they took everything. This watch is actually fake.
00:05:38.000 This watch is fake.
00:05:40.000 Oh, this suit? It's actually just cheap.
00:05:42.000 It's a cheap green suit from Zara.
00:05:44.000 I sprinkle glitter on it to make it look cool.
00:05:45.000 How does the glitter look? Fits me really well.
00:05:48.000 Yeah. Tristan, but what do you think about the decode accusation against you, against your brother?
00:05:56.000 I mean, the people...
00:05:59.000 Most criminal cases happen like this.
00:06:01.000 If he stole my phone, I'd go to the police and say, hey police, he stole my phone, and they'd investigate the case, right?
00:06:07.000 Instead, the police are sitting in a room, without anyone saying a crime has happened, and say, you know what?
00:06:13.000 I think Tristan has stolen Bogdan's phone.
00:06:16.000 And he will come to court and say, no, he didn't steal my phone.
00:06:18.000 It doesn't matter what Decot say.
00:06:20.000 They are corrupt, opportunistic thieves.
00:06:23.000 They've listed people as victims and said, yep, human trafficking, here are the victims.
00:06:27.000 The victims have come to court and said to the judge, Hi, Your Honor.
00:06:31.000 This is all stupid.
00:06:33.000 It doesn't matter that I, six years ago, had an argument with him on WhatsApp.
00:06:37.000 He's been my friend for 10 years.
00:06:38.000 There's no human trafficking. Oh, by the way, I live in Timisoara.
00:06:42.000 Coming to court and saying it's stupid.
00:06:44.000 And this is what I think is really waking the judges up.
00:06:46.000 Because if every single one of my victims was standing here today and you could interview them, they'd say, yeah, Tristan's innocent and Decot's corrupt.
00:06:52.000 And I told them I wasn't a victim and they wrote me down on the victim's list anyway.
00:06:55.000 So what do I think about Decot's accusations that I'm a human trafficker?
00:06:59.000 I think that they are utterly ridiculous.
00:07:01.000 I think they've embarrassed their organization.
00:07:03.000 And quite frankly, I think they've embarrassed their country.
00:07:05.000 I moved here. I have nothing to be ashamed about.
00:07:08.000 All my fancy cars, all the nice things I own, I don't have to hide the fact that I'm a successful person.
00:07:12.000 I'm an extremely wealthy person and I've worked hard my entire life.
00:07:15.000 I've never done anything illegal. I've paid my taxes.
00:07:18.000 I'm allowed to buy as many cars as I want.
00:07:19.000 But not according to DCOT. No, no, no.
00:07:21.000 If I buy expensive things, I'm a money launderer.
00:07:23.000 Who on earth is going to be influential, important, financially successful, and ever move to Romania again?
00:07:29.000 Ever. After what they've done to me?
00:07:32.000 These people have sent a message to everybody in the world saying, if you move to Romania, we are going to rob you, steal from you, take your stuff, embarrass you, charge you with crimes.
00:07:40.000 If Elon Musk moved to Romania tomorrow, they'd arrest him and steal all his stuff and say he's a money launderer.
00:07:47.000 And he'd say, no, look, I have Tesla.
00:07:48.000 No, look, I have SpaceX. And the prosecutor would ignore it and then he'd come to court and say what they said about me.
00:07:54.000 Well, he has unexplained income.
00:07:56.000 I have tried to explain to the prosecutor my income a hundred times.
00:08:00.000 I said, fly my accountant here or he'll explain why I'm rich.
00:08:03.000 Nope, nope, not interested. So do you think it's an abuse or because you have money?
00:08:08.000 Absolutely. Absolutely. It's abuse because I'm famous and because I have money.
00:08:10.000 If I was not Tristan Tate, this would never have happened in a million years.
00:08:15.000 Why on earth would I human traffic anyone?
00:08:17.000 That doesn't even make any sense.
00:08:19.000 And is social media collaboration human trafficking?
00:08:23.000 That's another point.
00:08:24.000 That was made very poignantly by my lawyers in court.
00:08:28.000 If I said to him, I'm gonna massively increase your social media following, let's work on Instagram, and I promoted him and he ten times his social media following, have I human trafficked him?
00:08:37.000 Social media collaborations aren't human trafficking.
00:08:40.000 And that's what DCOT are trying to say I've done.
00:08:43.000 Anybody I've ever spoken about social media with, they've put on a list of victims.
00:08:47.000 It is embarrassing and you as Romanians should be ashamed of what they've done to foreigners.
00:08:51.000 I understand two and a half years ago you were all outside my house pointing microphones in my face saying like, where are the girls?
00:08:57.000 Where are the girls? What, what girls?
00:08:59.000 What girls? All the ones who say I'm innocent who live in their own houses in different cities in different countries who've never been in my house ever.
00:09:06.000 Like it just, from day one I was looking forward to moments like this.
00:09:10.000 Because the media was very aggressive with me.
00:09:12.000 The internet was very aggressive with me.
00:09:14.000 Everyone thought I was kidnapping people and holding them hostage in my house.
00:09:17.000 What DCOT have done has not embarrassed me.
00:09:20.000 I can hold my head high and be proud of myself.
00:09:23.000 But DCOT has embarrassed Romania.
00:09:24.000 They've embarrassed themselves.
00:09:26.000 And after this investigation is over...
00:09:28.000 When it's finally dropped, I hope the people responsible for this actually get in some serious trouble because they should.
00:09:34.000 They should not be allowed to just humiliate their country and embarrass their country and take foreigners and lock them in jail away from their kids.
00:09:40.000 You know, when one of my kids was born, I was locked away in prison.
00:09:43.000 I was locked away in prison.
00:09:44.000 How will I ever get that back?
00:09:45.000 They can give me back my cars.
00:09:47.000 They can give me back my money.
00:09:48.000 They can give me all this stuff back.
00:09:50.000 How will I ever get those moments back?
00:09:51.000 I won't. I have been robbed by opportunistic thieves disguising themselves as prosecutors and I hope these people face real justice.
00:10:00.000 I can't sit on some...
00:10:30.000 Some dirty, dusty, nasty ass thing in that fancy suit.
00:10:37.000 It's jade-encrusted, so the jade stone works as a ballast to help separate the fabric from the brick.
00:10:45.000 I don't think that's how that works.
00:10:46.000 I think it's science. Do you have a jade-encrusted suit, Bailey?
00:10:49.000 In fact, I don't.
00:10:51.000 So how would you know how this material works?
00:10:54.000 You got me there. If a thief stole from you and you got your items back, would you be happy? This is my car, why shouldn't I have it?
00:11:18.000 You haven't received all your cars yet?
00:11:22.000 I will eventually, but getting them back doesn't necessarily make me happy, as I said.
00:11:26.000 They were stolen from me, and now I got them back.
00:11:29.000 So why should I be happy?
00:11:31.000 They're mine. It's not a new car, is it?
00:11:34.000 It's my own car that I get again.
00:11:38.000 I hope this never happens to you.
00:11:42.000 Did you get your ladder back?
00:11:49.000 I will get it back tomorrow, I've been told.
00:11:52.000 That'll be nice. That's all I miss.
00:11:55.000 You have a message from the Econs.
00:12:03.000 That wasn't me.
00:12:04.000 That wasn't me.
00:12:05.000 I think that was the people who were looking after the cars.
00:12:10.000 Wasn't me. Play the song!
00:12:13.000 No, I don't know. Thank you, bro.
00:12:15.000 Appreciate it. Watch out.
00:12:17.000 Are you okay? Just checking.
00:12:19.000 I'm a gentleman, not a human trafficker.
00:12:22.000 The fleet's coming back.
00:12:47.000 Oh yeah, the fleet's coming back, yeah.
00:12:49.000 Nice! Decaut couldn't take them.
00:12:50.000 They tried, but they failed.
00:12:52.000 You know, when you go against the system, everyone says you can't beat the system, shut up.
00:12:56.000 And I guess they were right, but we're built different.
00:13:00.000 I feel like we're kind of beating the system.
00:13:02.000 Well, they made us super famous and super rich, and now we're rebuilding our house in Romania because we intend on just staying here in Decot's jurisdiction and driving around in supercars.
00:13:11.000 I might drive past the jail and past Decot's office every single day.
00:13:15.000 I might go out of my way on my way to work and just drive past...
00:13:20.000 Look, I'm petty.
00:13:21.000 I know it's Haram, but I'm thinking of opening a webcam studio, just as a fuck you.
00:13:25.000 You can open a webcam studio.
00:13:26.000 It's a perfectly legal business. Why can't I? Well, there's lots of video chat studios and radio.
00:13:30.000 I actually recommend, of course I can't do it, but I recommend you, as an entrepreneur, invest in a webcam studio.
00:13:36.000 Yeah, I might actually build myself a webcam studio.
00:13:39.000 Great idea. I'll show you some human trafficking.
00:13:40.000 Great idea! Traffic some girls in.
00:13:43.000 Well, it's quite interesting that when we had a webcam studio, they never came and busted our door down.
00:13:46.000 It was only when we got rid of our webcam studio and then told the truth about government that they then attacked us for previously having a webcam studio.
00:13:53.000 Yes. Interesting. Interesting.
00:13:54.000 So it seems as long as you're currently running a webcam studio, you're safe from decom.
00:13:59.000 Got it. Meaning, we should open one ASAP to protect ourselves.
00:14:03.000 To protect ourselves. And this is an actual webcam studio that'll leave me alone because that pays 6% of this country's taxes and helps float the economy and pay for all the essential services so they don't blink twice when anyone opens a webcam studio unless we used to own one which wasn't even in Romania But we started talking the truth about the government and saying things about COVID and the Ukraine war.
00:14:23.000 And then they attacked us for previously having one.
00:14:26.000 So I had to open one again today.
00:14:27.000 And it's really interesting that in our court file, the UK Foreign Office wrote to Romania and said, can you do something about these boys which are telling the truth on the internet?
00:14:35.000 Yes. But of course, this is all about human trafficking, which is why the police come and only try and steal all our money and wealth all the time.
00:14:40.000 But this time they failed.
00:14:41.000 So we got them back because we're building.
00:14:51.000 It's everything your body needs and nothing it doesn't.
