Summary

Rory Sinek is accused of leaving the front door open multiple times during the night, resulting in the spread of other criminals like the flies he calls "conspirators" who want to ruin our daily lives. The judge decides to sentence Rory to jail for his crimes, but does not take into account the fact that he left the door open on multiple occasions throughout the day, which is against the law in the Republic of Tegzistan. Will Rory be able to prove his innocence? Or will he be sent to jail? Find out in this episode of Judge Andrew's new podcast, The G, where he tries to find out the truth behind the accusations against Rory. Also, Andrew gets a phone call from his girlfriend and forgets to pick it up, which leads to a heated argument about whether or not he's a criminal or not, and why he should be punished for it. 00:00:00.000 This was a waste if we're only going to use it once.
00:00:22.000 We're only going to do the live stream from jail and building the jail is a waste.
00:00:25.000 So I've decided. Rory keeps annoying me.
00:00:28.000 I'm going to sentence him to jail.
00:00:31.000 What's the point in having a jail if you don't use it?
00:00:32.000 He keeps leaving the door open.
00:00:34.000 He keeps fucking playing video games at night at 5am when I'm trying to sleep.
00:00:38.000 I might sentence Rory But I'm a fair guy.
00:01:02.000 You can't just send a man to jail without due process.
00:01:05.000 I am going to convene a court and put him on trial.
00:01:09.000 Rory! Yeah?
00:01:13.000 A court has convened.
00:01:15.000 What? It's your trial.
00:01:17.000 What are you talking about? The jail we just built.
00:01:20.000 Yeah? What's the point in having a jail if you don't sentence people?
00:01:23.000 You piss me off. What?
00:01:24.000 Why don't you come and find out exactly what you're accused of?
00:01:27.000 Well, what's up? Honorable Judge, talk to you.
00:01:33.000 I present the defendant, Rory Simmons.
00:01:34.000 Please take a seat right here, sir.
00:01:36.000 What is this? I understand that the state is persecuting you for crimes against the Republic of...
00:02:00.000 Take the stand.
00:02:02.000 Great. Your Honor, as you know, before we start, I want to know I'm a very fair judge.
00:02:08.000 This is not rigged.
00:02:10.000 I hope this is fair. This is a fair trial.
00:02:11.000 The G stands for justice.
00:02:13.000 Okay. Now I want to know what, though.
00:02:17.000 Your Honor, as you know, in the Republic of Tegzistan, we have had an issue recently with invaders.
00:02:22.000 Invaders illegally coming into this house and wreaking havoc upon our lunches and breakfasts.
00:02:27.000 I'm talking, of course, about the flies.
00:02:29.000 You see me, as the prosecutor of this great nation, cleaning up the streets of this city by taking the flies off the streets.
00:02:37.000 I have my cans of rain. I have my Aikido.
00:02:39.000 I'm out there defending this country against the invaders and the criminals.
00:02:44.000 I put it to the court that we have a conspirator among us.
00:02:49.000 A traitor working with us.
00:02:51.000 I plead the flies in efforts to ruin our lunchtimes.
00:02:57.000 You, Rory Sinek, have been accused of leaving the front door open on multiple occasions and resulting in the infection of this great society with other criminals like the insect you are.
00:03:10.000 How do you plead? I plead not guilty.
00:03:13.000 Not guilty. Have you noticed, Your Honor, in the last couple days, ever since I killed all the flies with my rave Aikido, That there has been an increase in insects in this house?
00:03:24.000 There hasn't been an increase in insects, I agree.
00:03:26.000 Your Honour, if anything, I'm always the one who does close the door.
00:03:30.000 I don't think I've been the one who leaves it open.
00:03:32.000 What evidence do we have that Rory was leaving the door open?
00:03:35.000 One, it's Rory.
00:03:37.000 I feel like that is a very strong argument.
00:03:41.000 Because Rory's Rory.
00:03:42.000 Open the door, doesn't give a shit, drinking beers.
00:03:45.000 It's his typical Rory-ish behavior.
00:03:48.000 It's his character, your honor.
00:03:50.000 Your honor, that's defamation, your honor.
00:03:51.000 Now, when you look at his Instagrams, the things he said on the internet, he's painted himself as an irresponsible person who works in league with criminals.
00:04:03.000 If he's the kind of person who's saying things on the internet that make him look irresponsible, then he definitely deserves some sort of punishment.
00:04:09.000 Ah, but that's not it.
00:04:10.000 Where's your evidence, bro?
00:04:11.000 You need evidence of this. You can't just pin this on me.
00:04:14.000 I'm always going around with the rape, killing the flies.
00:04:16.000 That's very interesting. One second.
00:04:17.000 Of course, I'm going to take a quick break of a very important message as a judge.
00:04:22.000 One second. Andrew. Andrew, why aren't you picking up the phone?
00:04:24.000 I've been trying to call you constantly. You keep ignoring me.
00:04:26.000 Why? You know how much I love you.
00:04:27.000 Thank you. Your Honour, this is an open and shut case.
00:04:31.000 I have shown you the clips I edited from his YouTube videos detailing irresponsibility of character, which means, of course, As you know, with any great crime, 24-hour CCTV surveillance can either exonerate the criminal entirely or condemn it.
00:04:53.000 For example, if I were accused of something and I had 24 hour a day CCTV footage all over my house showing everything and no crime took place, that would exonerate me.
00:05:02.000 However, if you were accused of a crime in a house and that house had 24 hours a day CCTV, that would prove that you either did the crime or didn't do the crime.
00:05:11.000 I agree with that. It would be ridiculous for you to be accused, one second, It'd be ridiculous for you to be accused of a crime in a location with 24-hour CCTV and no evidence of that crime being taken place beyond the videos.
00:05:23.000 And the videos be ignored for that reason.
00:05:25.000 So I actually agree with you. That's a good point.
00:05:27.000 Your Honor, may I add? May I add?
00:05:29.000 There may be one instance where I may have left the front door open.
00:05:32.000 May have! Hold on.
00:05:33.000 An admission of guilt!
00:05:35.000 No. Right here in the courtroom.
00:05:36.000 However, at the time when you said I was drinking beers or whatever it was you said I was doing, surely I have a plea for diminished responsibility due to my lack of coordination.
00:05:44.000 Your honour, exhibit A. Press play.
00:05:48.000 Shit.
00:05:58.000 The prosecution rests its case.
00:06:02.000 Bye.
00:06:04.000 Any final words?
00:06:06.000 I think that you should take into consideration Well, we've been diminished responsibility.
00:06:17.000 I just want you to take these things into account before you send them to me.
00:06:20.000 Your Honor, final words on the prosecution.
00:06:22.000 As a known drinker and a fiend, he is fully aware of the destructive effects of his lifestyle choices and his bad habits.
00:06:33.000 This is a pattern that I have seen in the defendant.
00:06:36.000 This is not my first time seeing him.
00:06:38.000 I've been familiar with this particular individual for over 18 years.
00:06:44.000 Drunk or not. I think it's very clear that the court understands how serious these allegations are.
00:06:51.000 The flies have been a pest which has been plaguing our lives for a very long time.
00:06:54.000 There's no small feat to destroy them and get rid of them and then when they come back they are particularly annoying.
00:06:59.000 So the flies in and of themselves is a serious issue and I believe that the state needs to take it seriously to show that we are A fair system of judicial control, and everybody knows that they can have faith in the justice system.
00:07:12.000 So for that reason, anyone who's aiding the flies must face the punishment of the law.
00:07:16.000 Rory, Senate. Your Honor, you must take into account my...
00:07:19.000 You are sentenced to two and a half hours in jail.
00:07:24.000 I've got shit to do. I've got shit to do.
00:07:27.000 Someone take Rory away.
00:07:28.000 Get Amir. Amir!
00:07:31.000 This is horse shit. I've actually got shit to do today.
00:07:34.000 I've got loads of work to do on my laptop.
00:07:36.000 I don't care. I don't actually care.
00:07:39.000 I've got videos to edit. This is horse shit.
00:07:44.000 Do you have anything on you that can hurt you?
00:07:46.000 I don't have anything on me at all, bro.
00:07:48.000 Where's your mobile phone? My mobile phone's in my shorts.
00:07:50.000 I can give it to you. Give me your mobile phone.
00:07:52.000 Where is your mobile phone? It's there.
00:07:55.000 Thank you. Bro, I actually need to edit videos today.
00:07:59.000 I need to sort some shit out.
00:08:01.000 Don't actually dare.
00:08:02.000 Aren't you all the symptoms for two and a half hours?
00:08:04.000 Yes. At least take an hour off.
00:08:07.000 No. What?
00:08:10.000 Why does... So I'm actually in jail?
00:08:14.000 Okay. Take this off.
00:08:17.000 Hands down and just give you a quick search.
00:08:20.000 There's nothing on me. There's nothing on me.
00:08:23.000 There's nothing else that can hurt you with.
00:08:24.000 Nothing to harm us now.
00:08:26.000 Turn around.
00:08:28.000 Okay.
00:08:30.000 Fine.
00:08:32.000 I'm going to just sit down.
00:08:34.000 I've got a jail cigarette.
00:08:37.000 I mean, at least I've got a jail cigarette.
00:08:41.000 But I don't think they've left me a lighter.
00:08:43.000 I need a lighter! Look, cameraman, the least you could do is go and ask your honour if I can have a lighter for a jail cigarette.
00:08:50.000 That's a human right.
00:08:51.000 That sounds like a you problem, not a me problem.
00:08:54.000 Come back bro.
00:08:55.000 Bro, come back!
00:08:56.000 Bye!
00:08:57.000 Who's that?
00:09:03.000 Who?
00:09:07.000 Hey.
00:09:09.000 How's your time in jail?
00:09:11.000 Pretty shit. It's hot.
00:09:14.000 There's no aircon. I've got cigarettes.
00:09:17.000 And do you know what? I found supplies.
00:09:19.000 I didn't know they left them in there for me.
00:09:21.000 So look. I have...
00:09:24.000 You left the cell door open.
00:09:27.000 Shit! You can escape!
00:09:30.000 They've got the security guards.
00:09:31.000 They've told the security guards if I escape to throw me back in.
00:09:35.000 So look, we've got some plates, cups, noodles.
00:09:38.000 I found some water. So my time has actually been quite resourceful.
00:09:41.000 But however, this has been one big pain in the fucking ass.
00:09:45.000 And I know it's only been three hours.
00:09:47.000 But you know, I had shit to do.
00:09:50.000 All I did was leave the door open.
00:09:51.000 Why am I incarcerated, bro?
00:09:54.000 Don't ask me. I'm a neutral party in this.
00:09:56.000 And I don't know if you've noticed. Are you trying to also get me incarcerated?
00:10:02.000 That might be a thing. We have evidence now.
00:10:05.000 I'm the cameraman. I can delete it.
00:10:07.000 I don't know. But yeah, I tried to escape out the window.
00:10:10.000 Did you? Yeah, and I got told no.
00:10:13.000 To stop playing with the windows by the guards.
00:10:14.000 I feel like they're going to double your sentence at some point.
00:10:16.000 What, for trying to escape? Just for continuing to act up.
00:10:20.000 Didn't you hear this is a no-smoking-blow jail secret?
00:10:22.000 But they're clever, because these windows were never locked.
00:10:25.000 For some reason today, they're locked, bro.
00:10:27.000 So there was no escape.
00:10:29.000 And the guard's office is just outside that door.
00:10:32.000 So there's no point in trying to run because he's already said, if you try to run, I get you.
00:10:36.000 And he's fucking huge, bro.
00:10:38.000 So I'm not going to try my luck.
00:10:40.000 How much time do you have left? An hour.
00:10:42.000 I think an hour. What are you going to do?
00:10:44.000 I don't know. You tell me how much time I've got left.
00:10:46.000 I don't know. This seems like forever.
00:10:48.000 No phone? No phone, no laptop.
00:10:50.000 They took all my electronics off me.
00:10:51.000 So you just have to sit here in pure silence, smoking, chain-smoking cigarettes.
00:10:57.000 What else am I about to do, bro?
00:10:58.000 I've got water, cigarettes, I've got a mattress, I've got a pillow.
00:11:02.000 It's not really a long sentence, but I'm hoping someone gets a longer sentence because I feel like justice has been unfair on me.
00:11:10.000 Do you need me to break you out? Bro, if you break me out, you're going to get a longer sentence than me.
00:11:16.000 I'm going to Aikido all of the guards.
00:11:18.000 How? Don't worry about it.
00:11:19.000 I'll be back. Thanks.
