00:00:00.000 Rishi Nagar, news director and host for Calgary's Red FM 106.7, addressed the media on Tuesday for
00:00:06.500 the first time since being assaulted by two men on the streets of Calgary over his reporting
00:00:10.740 on extortion and crime. I was at the media event, where Nagar described the attack as one on
00:00:15.960 the freedom of the press and the integrity of journalism. I'm Isaac Lamoureux, your host of
00:00:21.400 the Alberta Roundup. To this point, I've been tracking which week this was hosting the show,
00:00:36.420 but I've already lost track. I'm pretty sure we're at the one month mark, so it seems as good a time
00:00:41.100 as any to stop tracking. I'll have to think of another way to introduce the show. Maybe something
00:00:47.640 like, welcome back to the Alberta Roundup, the one and only show you need to keep up to date
00:00:53.260 on the province's happenings. Perhaps if I'd been in the business since 1999 like Rishi Nagar,
00:00:59.040 I'd have established a good introduction by now, but let's just jump back into that story.
00:01:03.540 The assault on Rishi Nagar, which occurred on Sunday, is believed to be connected to his reporting
00:01:08.380 on extortion and criminal activity within the South Asian community. However, he said he did
00:01:13.560 not believe the attack to be politicized because Canadians have freedom of speech, press, and
00:01:19.040 expression. Nagar addressed the media on Tuesday with a bandage wrapped around half of his face
00:01:24.000 covering his eye. He said he hoped not to be seen as a victim, but as a voice for the integrity and
00:01:29.640 necessity of journalism. These injuries are for sure painful, but what wounds me more deeply is the
00:01:35.240 intent behind this assault, said Nagar. A clear attack on journalism and on the free press. This was not a
00:01:42.120 personal attack on me alone. This was an assault on the very principles that bind us as a free and
00:01:47.520 democratic society. The journalist, who as I mentioned has been in the business since 1999,
00:01:52.580 said he has spent most of his career reporting on the extortions and criminal activities affecting
00:01:57.340 South Asian communities, which he added continued to grow. He said, quote, I want to make one thing
00:02:03.260 abundantly clear. I will not be silenced. These cowardly actions will not deter me or my colleagues from
00:02:09.140 continuing our work, nor will they dissuade the press from reporting on matters of public interest.
00:02:14.680 They can break my eye. They cannot break my resolve. Journalism is the cornerstone of a free society,
00:02:21.100 and without it, corruption, crime, and injustice would go unchecked. Nagar revealed that the doctors
00:02:26.500 told him he risks retinal detachment and coroidal rupture in his eye because there is so much blood
00:02:32.440 inside of it. He said he'll get a further update on October 8th. He was attending a political event at a
00:02:37.660 banquet hall when he stepped outside to take a phone call. Two men, quote, sneakily followed him
00:02:43.060 and eventually approached him for a brief conversation where they complained about his
00:02:46.900 past reporting alleging that it was untrue. He knew one of the men and at no point expected to be
00:02:51.300 attacked. However, the other man allegedly attacked him and continued doing so when he fell to the
00:02:56.240 ground. Eventually, two other random pedestrians pulled over to care for Nagar. They helped him come
00:03:01.020 to his senses and call the police. I thank God that the attackers fled like cowards, further strengthening
00:03:06.300 my resolve, Nagar wrote in a Facebook post shortly after the attack. I am especially thankful to Mr.
00:03:12.600 Burhan Khan, who came to my aid and rescue at that moment. He said that he is not the first person and
00:03:18.860 will not be the last to face intimidation and violence. Let this unfortunate incident serve as
00:03:23.980 a reminder of the risks many journalists face daily, especially those who dare to speak out against
00:03:28.980 extortions, organized crime, corruption, and injustice. Let it also be a call to action for greater
00:03:34.500 protection of free press, not just here, but around the world, said Nagar. I remain committed to my work and to the
00:03:40.440 principles of truth, justice, and transparency. No act of violence can change that. Journalism will prevail and the
00:03:46.380 truth will continue to be told. Now hopping into a Danielle Smith story. So hopping into the next story here,
00:03:52.480 Premier Danielle Smith has been taking some heat for some recent comments she made on chemtrails at a recent UCP event
00:03:58.800 when she was asked about it. The best I have been able to do is talk to the woman who is responsible for controlling the airspace.
00:04:06.880 And she says no one is allowed to go up and spray anything in the air. We have a, oh, she's told me, the other person told me that if
00:04:14.640 anyone is doing it, it's the US Department of Defense. And, you know, like I have some limitations in what I can do in my job. I don't know that I would have much power if that is the case, if the US Department of Defense
00:04:25.800 says frankness. So I will do what I can to investigate. But everywhere I have gone, I have found no evidence that there's any private sector company involved. My
00:04:36.280 environment department is involved. My airports tell me that they have a record of every single plane that goes up. So I'm kind of dead-ended here.
00:04:46.600 If you have some special leave that you want to give me afterwards, please let me know and I'll track it down.
00:04:51.100 Smith has been criticized by some left-wing ministers and Canadians for the very reason so many people love her, which is that she kept it real.
00:05:00.440 Personally, I don't know that the Premier should have commented on such a controversial topic, but frankly, I can't find myself too angry with her for, as I mentioned, keeping it real.
00:05:10.520 Some Liberal ministers felt differently. One of them was Employment Minister Randy Boissonneau, who might have relished at the opportunity to deflect some heat
00:05:18.820 after allegations of conflict of interest and the other Randy scandal against him.
00:05:26.320 Searchlight Pictures presents In the Blink of an Eye on Hulu on Disney+.
00:05:31.760 A sweeping science fiction drama spanning the Stone Age, the present day, and the distant future.
00:05:37.740 About the essence of what it means to be human, regardless of our place in history.
00:05:42.120 The film is directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Andrew Stanton and stars Rashida Jones, Kate McKinnon, and Daveed Diggs.
00:05:48.780 Stream In the Blink of an Eye, now only on Hulu on Disney+.
00:05:52.380 Sign up at Disneyplus.com.
00:05:56.320 Boissonneau went on to say that when he's door-knocking, people won't talk to him if they think he's a Conservative,
00:06:03.340 suggesting that Albertans don't want to hear from or vote for the Conservatives,
00:06:07.260 which of course we know, based on every poll, is not even close to reality,
00:06:11.120 showing that the Conservatives in Alberta would easily win a majority, and so too would their federal counterparts.
00:06:17.200 I wanted to chat with everybody today about Alberta,
00:06:20.100 and I think it's becoming increasingly obvious that Premier Smith is using her office to peddle conspiracy theories.
00:06:26.300 This week it's chemtrails and misinformation about the RCMP.
00:06:30.120 I simply don't get it.
00:06:31.360 We've got a lot of issues in Alberta right now in a growing province.
00:06:33.980 We've got an education system that needs more money for the teachers that are already there.
00:06:38.260 We gave them $25 billion for a health care system that needs to be fixed.
00:06:41.760 We've got an opioid crisis and a homelessness crisis.
00:06:44.180 We simply need the Premier to do her job.
00:06:46.200 And talking about chemtrails simply doesn't do the work.
00:06:48.900 How are you not doing your job?
00:06:50.420 Why are you running against the UCP?
00:06:53.000 Well, I can tell you when I'm on the doors, people see me in a white ball cap and they say,
00:06:58.100 if you're blue, we're not voting for you.
00:06:59.840 So get off my doorstep.
00:07:00.720 And so I take off my hat and say, oh, it's you, get up here.
00:07:02.980 There is deep frustration with Premier Smith and her government in Edmonton.
00:07:07.940 We're still waiting for our $370 million offset payment that she gave to Calgary to build their new arena.
00:07:14.860 She is simply not doing her job.
00:07:16.520 And she's going off and soaking fears about somehow the U.S. putting chemtrails in the air.
00:07:20.560 It's simply bonkers.
00:07:21.480 Environment Minister Stephen Guibault also took aim at Smith for not standing up to conspiracy theories
00:07:26.760 and launching accusations against the U.S. government.
00:07:30.420 Guibault said, quote, it's a very sad day for Canada and certainly very sad day for Alberta.
00:07:36.240 I'm sure that's the way many Albertans feel anytime they have to listen to Guibault speak.
00:07:41.540 The chemtrails fiasco for Smith followed shortly after she offered her most recent and in-depth view
00:07:47.660 on a few pieces of upcoming legislation, focusing on a few pieces around transgenderism and gender dysphoria.
00:07:55.020 Smith's roughly six-minute video posted to X features some of the exact legislation that will be tabled.
00:08:01.140 She said that the legislation will be tabled in less than a month
00:08:04.120 and will ensure that children have to wait to adulthood to physically alter their bodies for gender transition.
00:08:09.560 Additionally, Smith said that this legislation will strengthen parental rights
00:08:13.160 and ensure women and girls can compete in female-only sports divisions.
00:08:17.140 The premier said that the legislation follows extensive consultations with parents, educators,
00:08:22.840 healthcare professionals, sporting organizations, and members of the transgender community.
00:08:28.220 Smith said, quote,
00:08:29.240 While these are sensitive topics, our government believes these measures are in the best interests
00:08:34.380 of children and we will proceed with these changes without delay.
00:08:38.740 She invited all Albertans to join the conversation so that transgender children know they are cared for
00:08:44.240 and supported.
00:08:45.640 Smith took a really compassionate approach throughout the video and ensured transgender children that
00:08:50.460 she was on their side.
00:08:51.600 Just take a look into this clip here.
00:08:52.940 We believe it's vitally important to preserve the time you have as a youth
00:08:57.340 to gain sufficient amount of knowledge, experience, and perspective
00:09:01.500 so that you can fully understand who you are, who you want to be,
00:09:05.200 and what opportunities you may want to have as an adult
00:09:07.660 before making permanent life-altering decisions related to your body.
00:09:12.080 That is so very important to understand.
00:09:14.860 And anyone who claims that these rules were designed to target
00:09:17.400 or somehow harm you in any way are mistaken.
00:09:20.120 Although questioning or disagreeing with these new policies is any person's democratic, right?
00:09:25.600 Adults who choose to tell children and youth that these policies were designed to hurt them
00:09:29.760 or marginalize them, that kind of rhetoric is irresponsible and harmful to the young people
00:09:34.860 involved, and it is entirely false.
00:09:37.820 I sincerely hope that we adults can debate the proposed legislation with maturity and compassion
00:09:43.340 rather than question each other's motives at the expense of the children and youth
00:09:47.400 who will be listening to the debate.
00:09:49.020 Some of the specific legislation highlighted were
00:09:51.860 Protecting future choices of children.
00:09:53.980 So licensed doctors are prohibited from performing gender reassignment surgery
00:09:57.580 on youth under 18 in Alberta.
00:09:59.660 Puberty blockers and hormone therapy for minors under 16 will be prohibited
00:10:03.500 unless treatment is already started.
00:10:05.880 Parental, psychologist, and doctor approval is required for 16 and 17-year-olds
00:10:10.680 to access puberty blockers or hormone therapy.
00:10:13.380 Parental notification will be required for a teacher or staff member to change a name or pronoun of a student
00:10:20.620 or use it at school.
00:10:22.340 16 and 17-year-olds can make their choice on pronouns and gender identity,
00:10:26.860 but parental notification is still required.
00:10:29.340 Parental opt-in is required for each instance a teacher wishes to discuss gender identity,
00:10:34.420 sexual orientation, or human sexuality.
00:10:36.760 Materials or presentations related to these subjects must be approved by the Ministry of Education.
00:10:43.520 Those born biologically male are prohibited from competing against women and girls in competitive sports,
00:10:48.920 and this will apply to all Alberta sporting organizations,
00:10:52.220 including schools and post-secondary institutions.
00:10:55.580 In closing, I again sincerely ask that as we discuss and debate this proposed legislation,
00:11:03.340 both before and after it is tabled,
00:11:05.620 that we do all we can to depoliticize the discussion
00:11:08.520 and focus on the well-being of the children and youth most affected by these policies.
00:11:13.140 They each need to know that although adults may strenuously disagree
00:11:16.680 on what policies are in a child's best interest,
00:11:20.000 each of us loves and supports them in becoming the person they want to be regardless,
00:11:23.280 and we'll be there for them if they ever want to talk or need our support.
00:11:27.600 That commitment and care by all of us for these children and youth
00:11:30.840 should not be questioned by either side of a political debate.
00:11:34.340 Jumping back into a Calgary story,
00:11:36.500 the city is considering reintroducing a municipal census in 2027
00:11:40.380 in response to Calgary's rapid population growth
00:11:43.160 and the strain on services from immigration-driven population growth.
00:11:46.780 The biennial census was last conducted in 2019,
00:11:50.180 but was eventually cancelled during the pandemic
00:11:51.960 and has not since been reintroduced.
00:11:54.640 City officials emphasized that the federal census,
00:11:57.300 which is conducted every five years,
00:11:58.920 is insufficient to address the immediate needs
00:12:01.080 of a city experiencing a population boom the size of Calgary's.
00:12:04.940 The study read,
00:12:06.420 Calgary is experiencing rapid growth
00:12:08.380 and the five-year interval between federal census collections
00:12:11.220 is not frequent enough to provide the required information
00:12:13.980 needed to inform delivering municipal services.
00:12:17.000 The city of Calgary first conducted a civic census in 1931.
00:12:22.660 It continued periodically until 1958
00:12:25.080 when an annual population count was introduced,
00:12:27.860 which continued until 2019.
00:12:30.340 However, the 2020 civic census was cancelled
00:12:32.780 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
00:12:35.600 Later that year, in November 2020,
00:12:38.100 funding for the civic census program was eliminated
00:12:40.480 during budget adjustments.
00:12:42.400 Migration to Calgary skyrocketed
00:12:44.280 due to the city's affordable housing,
00:12:46.220 which became an area of concern in August 2023,
00:12:49.360 after receiving over 100,000 immigrants in the past four years
00:12:52.440 and the expectation of an additional 110,000
00:12:55.600 in the subsequent four.
00:12:57.000 All four of Alberta's biggest cities
00:12:58.600 saw interprovincial net gains between July 2022 and 2023.
00:13:02.960 Despite becoming a desirable destination
00:13:04.940 for interprovincial migration,
00:13:06.720 even one quarter of Calgary's residents
00:13:08.720 said they considered moving
00:13:10.000 because Calgary homes became too expensive
00:13:12.320 in a July 2024 survey
00:13:14.360 by the Angus Reid Institute.
00:13:16.480 Calgary could develop a census internally,
00:13:18.900 utilize licensed software,
00:13:20.740 or contract the census to external providers.
00:13:23.960 Each has varying costs,
00:13:25.380 but the city's documents noted
00:13:26.640 that the contractor-supported census is preferred.
00:13:29.680 It would cost around $10.7 million
00:13:31.620 between 2025 and 2030.
00:13:34.440 The executive committee recommends
00:13:35.860 that the city council reinstate
00:13:37.460 a biennial municipal census starting in 2027
00:13:40.420 and presents census funding requirements
00:13:42.920 for consideration in the 2027 to 2030 budgets.
00:13:46.880 The report highlighted
00:13:47.940 that the census would help improve
00:13:49.400 the city's social, environmental,
00:13:51.640 economic, and service and financial implications.
00:13:55.340 The two risks underscored
00:13:56.580 were the cost-benefit analysis
00:13:58.140 and data privacy.
00:14:00.260 Some members of the public may believe
00:14:02.240 that the benefits of a more detailed
00:14:03.940 and more frequent population data
00:14:05.640 is not worth the cost of delivering
00:14:07.600 a municipal census, reads the report.
00:14:10.520 However, if a municipal census is not supported,
00:14:13.520 administration can only use
00:14:14.860 federal census information,
00:14:16.200 which is insufficient to help guide decisions
00:14:18.560 in response to Calgary's rapid growth and change.
00:14:21.580 It added that the city's administration
00:14:23.480 could implement privacy risk mitigation
00:14:25.620 in line with the Freedom of Information
00:14:27.820 and Protection Privacy Act
00:14:29.420 and other legislation.
00:14:31.620 Despite being generally more pro-immigration
00:14:33.980 than some other premiers,
00:14:35.540 Alberta Premier Danielle Smith
00:14:36.980 has recently taken a stance
00:14:38.760 against the Liberals' immigration policies
00:14:41.100 after announcing emergency education funds
00:14:43.800 to counteract record immigration.
00:14:46.220 Her province's Alberta is Calling campaign
00:14:48.240 was never available to international migrants, however.
00:14:51.660 All right, people,
00:14:52.380 this is the section you've all been waiting for.
00:14:54.720 Since we did two Calgary stories today,
00:14:57.140 I think it's only fair
00:14:58.480 that we sneak in an Edmonton one
00:15:00.660 for the last story
00:15:01.900 that we're going to discuss today.
00:15:03.180 So the NHL season starts on October 8th,
00:15:05.460 for those who didn't know,
00:15:06.440 which is this coming Tuesday,
00:15:08.180 and the Edmonton Oilers play their first game
00:15:10.040 on Wednesday the 9th
00:15:11.040 against the Winnipeg Jets.
00:15:12.740 A recent story dropped
00:15:13.820 of the Oilers' captain,
00:15:15.880 Connor McDavid,
00:15:16.700 being highlighted for asking the coach
00:15:18.460 to play more games,
00:15:20.260 despite the many serious injuries
00:15:21.800 we've seen across the league
00:15:23.360 this preseason.
00:15:25.000 If McDavid gets his wish,
00:15:26.580 he'll have played five of eight games.
00:15:29.080 That's why he's our leader.
00:15:30.340 He leads by example,
00:15:32.180 said veteran Corey Perry.
00:15:34.000 Everybody knows he's not the loudest guy in the room,
00:15:36.760 but those little things,
00:15:37.820 they help.
00:15:38.500 However, I don't know if any of you saw,
00:15:40.180 but the upcoming Amazon show
00:15:41.800 did drop a sneak peek
00:15:43.460 on just how loud McDavid can be,
00:15:45.820 which some of you may have seen
00:15:47.080 circulating on the internet.
00:15:48.700 If not,
00:15:49.240 I encourage you to give it a watch.
00:15:50.980 It's basically just McDavid
00:15:52.220 screaming swears at his teammates
00:15:53.960 for not trying hard enough
00:15:55.160 in the Stanley Cup finals.
00:15:56.540 But it is a rare look
00:15:58.100 into what goes on
00:15:59.820 behind closed doors.
00:16:01.260 Oilers fans will remember
00:16:02.280 the dreadful start
00:16:03.240 the team got off to last season
00:16:04.540 starting 2-9-1.
00:16:06.100 Obviously, it ended okay
00:16:07.260 getting to Game 7
00:16:08.420 of the Stanley Cup finals,
00:16:09.680 but still.
00:16:10.420 I'm sure the team
00:16:11.300 wants to have a better start
00:16:12.560 than last year,
00:16:13.240 but I don't imagine
00:16:14.140 that'll be too hard
00:16:15.100 considering the record
00:16:16.200 they have to beat.
00:16:17.620 But starting flat
00:16:18.440 certainly won't be the method
00:16:19.680 to do so.
00:16:20.600 Let me know if you're excited
00:16:21.660 for the NHL season
00:16:22.620 to start in the comments.
00:16:23.720 I know I've certainly
00:16:24.800 missed sports in my life
00:16:26.260 given the dreadful
00:16:27.940 baseball season
00:16:28.840 from the Toronto Blue Jays.
00:16:30.760 Speaking of comments,
00:16:31.880 let's hop right in
00:16:32.940 to the comment roundup.
00:16:34.240 Most of the comments
00:16:34.940 from last week
00:16:35.560 involved either
00:16:36.260 thanking Smith or myself,
00:16:37.960 so without getting
00:16:38.740 too much into those,
00:16:39.740 I'd like to thank everyone
00:16:40.780 for their comments
00:16:41.480 and especially
00:16:42.320 their compliments.
00:16:43.220 Coming in with the first comment
00:16:44.580 from at RebelGran
00:16:45.900 underscore zero one
00:16:47.540 who said,
00:16:48.480 Albertans are so lucky
00:16:49.600 to have Danielle Smith
00:16:50.640 for their Premier.
00:16:51.880 I wish Ontario had a Premier
00:16:53.200 who stood up
00:16:53.860 for the people of Ontario
00:16:54.840 instead of lining his pockets.
00:16:56.820 While I don't know anything
00:16:57.660 about the last part
00:16:58.420 of your quote,
00:16:58.960 I decided to highlight this
00:17:00.040 because a few Ontarians
00:17:01.360 commented similar lines
00:17:03.300 of thought.
00:17:03.920 The most recent report
00:17:05.000 from the Angus Reid Institute
00:17:06.480 on October 3rd
00:17:07.560 highlighted this phenomenon
00:17:08.740 in Ontario.
00:17:09.760 Interestingly,
00:17:10.700 more than four in five Ontarians
00:17:12.220 think Ford has done
00:17:13.580 poorly on healthcare,
00:17:14.900 cost of living,
00:17:15.740 and housing affordability.
00:17:17.100 Furthermore,
00:17:17.840 Ford has a negative approval rating
00:17:19.260 of minus 33.
00:17:21.100 However,
00:17:21.440 based on the same polling,
00:17:23.220 the Progressive Conservative Party
00:17:24.600 of Ontario
00:17:25.240 would win the election
00:17:26.280 by a large margin.
00:17:28.060 I think this might speak
00:17:29.160 to Canadians
00:17:29.760 turning against wokeism
00:17:31.160 pushed by the NDP
00:17:32.240 and the Liberals.
00:17:33.360 Even when they dislike
00:17:34.520 the leader of the Conservative Party,
00:17:36.280 they're still deciding
00:17:37.140 to vote for them.
00:17:38.280 The next comment
00:17:38.980 comes from
00:17:39.460 at Barbara McKenzie 1263
00:17:41.500 who asked,
00:17:42.480 where the $67 million
00:17:43.480 for the federal guns
00:17:44.660 by that program went?
00:17:45.940 Considering the program
00:17:47.140 still has yet
00:17:48.160 to collect a single gun,
00:17:49.300 the money has been
00:17:50.480 entirely spent
00:17:51.360 on bureaucracy.
00:17:52.360 When I spoke
00:17:52.940 with Wes Winkle,
00:17:53.800 the president
00:17:54.320 of the Canadian
00:17:55.040 Sporting Arms
00:17:55.780 and Ammunition Association,
00:17:57.480 he told me
00:17:57.960 that he expects
00:17:58.680 bureaucracy costs
00:18:00.160 to end up costing
00:18:00.960 quote,
00:18:01.540 considerably more
00:18:02.760 than collecting
00:18:03.940 the guns themselves.
00:18:05.480 And this is hardly
00:18:06.180 the first time
00:18:06.780 we've seen this.
00:18:08.000 With this federal government,
00:18:09.020 you can almost imagine
00:18:10.040 that with anything they do,
00:18:11.360 bureaucracy will end up
00:18:12.380 costing more
00:18:13.060 than the projects
00:18:14.020 themselves.
00:18:15.360 Winkle said,
00:18:16.080 quote,
00:18:16.480 like everything
00:18:17.320 the government does,
00:18:18.500 the bureaucracy
00:18:19.040 runs amok.
00:18:20.400 And now,
00:18:21.100 we end up with
00:18:21.540 these huge cost overruns
00:18:22.860 because of the bureaucracy
00:18:24.000 running amok.
00:18:24.860 The last comment today
00:18:25.820 was a tough one to choose
00:18:26.960 and I struggled
00:18:27.640 between selecting a few,
00:18:28.980 but we'll go with
00:18:30.000 what at VX Coco XV said,
00:18:32.520 which was,
00:18:33.620 thank goodness,
00:18:35.020 it should always be
00:18:35.720 someone's personal decision
00:18:37.060 and not the decision
00:18:38.140 of an employer.
00:18:39.500 We all seen what happened
00:18:41.220 to thousands of people working.
00:18:43.360 Your employer
00:18:43.860 should never have
00:18:44.600 any involvement
00:18:45.260 in your personal health.
00:18:46.700 What I wanted to discuss here
00:18:47.960 was when,
00:18:48.640 when and how,
00:18:49.720 did it ever become acceptable
00:18:50.900 for anyone to ask you
00:18:52.280 about your medical history.
00:18:53.440 I think this certainly
00:18:54.200 would not have been accepted
00:18:55.260 prior to the pandemic
00:18:56.280 when it became
00:18:57.300 socially acceptable.
00:18:58.960 Someone's medical history
00:19:00.060 is among their most
00:19:00.800 private business
00:19:01.740 and nobody else's business.
00:19:03.360 It's like when people
00:19:04.180 ask me who I voted for.
00:19:05.860 I'm sure you all
00:19:06.480 could take a guess,
00:19:07.620 but one of the vital
00:19:08.700 key elements of democracy
00:19:10.360 is the ability
00:19:11.120 to vote privately
00:19:12.060 without anybody else
00:19:13.920 knowing about your business.
00:19:15.660 So yes,
00:19:16.520 I hope that employers
00:19:17.440 butt out of our medical history
00:19:18.920 and personal health
00:19:20.000 along with everyone else.
00:19:21.920 In closing,
00:19:22.480 I'd like to thank everybody
00:19:23.580 for staying tuned
00:19:24.560 throughout the entirety
00:19:25.500 of this Alberta Roundup,
00:19:26.960 whichever number
00:19:28.100 of the episodes
00:19:28.680 it may have been
00:19:29.420 that I've hosted thus far.
00:19:31.000 Whenever I get into
00:19:31.860 a lull or down
00:19:32.800 throughout the week,
00:19:33.760 I like to go through
00:19:34.700 your comments
00:19:35.320 and see all the nice things
00:19:36.740 you are saying,
00:19:37.340 but also the compelling points
00:19:38.980 and anecdotes
00:19:39.860 that you raise.
00:19:40.960 Thank you very much.
00:19:42.100 God bless
00:19:42.560 and have a great week.
00:19:43.440 Also,
00:19:44.420 good luck to your hockey teams,
00:19:46.180 whoever they may be,
00:19:47.580 unless they're playing
00:19:48.320 the Oilers.
00:19:48.960 Thank you.
00:19:49.960 Thank you.
00:19:55.220 Thank you.
00:19:55.620 Whoa.
00:20:01.480 Thank you.
00:20:02.220 Thank you.
