00:09:37.980 facilities. So the U.S. Navy's fifth fleet is in Bahrain. That is being attacked by Iran.

00:09:45.120 The United States has radar and other ISR infrastructure in the Gulf countries,

00:09:50.420 bases in the Gulf countries in Jordan. Iran is targeting all of that infrastructure.

00:09:56.040 Now we are formally in exactly the same state of war as we were before the original ceasefire in

00:10:03.220 April, which is to say very heavy around the clock U.S. bombing of Iran, Iran launching drones and

00:10:10.200 missiles at our infrastructure in all of the Gulf countries, and a Strait of Hormuz, which is

00:10:15.560 officially closed on both sides. We are in a state of war. Let's talk about what is happening next

00:10:22.200 week because there's some key developments today. Trump said to Fox News that if Iran does not come

00:10:28.620 back to the negotiating table and open up the strait and even begin to talk about nuclear

00:10:33.640 concessions, Trump says that next week we're going to escalate the bombing against their

00:10:39.140 civilian infrastructure, transportation infrastructure like bridges and airports,

00:10:44.900 electrical infrastructure like power plants and oil infrastructure, energy infrastructure,

00:10:51.660 oil and gas fields, oil and gas refineries, Carg Island, where they export all the oil and gas.

00:10:57.340 He said, but that's going to happen next week if Iran doesn't negotiate right now.

00:11:02.020 He says, we're going to keep bombing tonight, tomorrow, the day after that, the day after that, which is the rest of this week.

00:11:07.840 He said, but next week is when it gets really bad.

00:11:10.160 So they better come to the table.

00:11:12.800 Now, I don't know if that's a serious threat.

00:11:15.180 In many ways, we're right back to square one because this is exactly the same pattern, which is we're bombing Iran.

00:11:24.280 And Trump is threatening that if they don't give us key concessions, then we're going to escalate in a real way.

00:11:30.760 So far, we have avoided the civilian population and civilian infrastructure.

00:11:40.460 How do we increase the pressure and leverage against Iran?

00:11:45.160 We choke and strangle their economy by shutting down those lifelines, which is transportation, electricity, and maybe most importantly, energy.

00:12:02.080 And not only does the economy collapse, but then it becomes impossible to rebuild.

00:12:07.660 You can't rebuild oil and gas infrastructure in a week, in a month, in a year.

00:12:42.400 of the society, to respond potentially to uprisings or riots. This is a gesture towards

00:12:49.200 regime change. We're at that point trying to collapse Iranian society so that the government

00:12:56.160 will fall. And it's a move towards this. The reason that Trump has been reluctant to do this

00:13:01.360 is because Iran then would reserve the right and the capability to retaliate in exactly the same

00:13:07.440 way. If we launch these attacks on Iran's civilian infrastructure, they can use their

00:13:12.860 drones and missiles to do the same thing in all of the Gulf countries.

00:13:18.520 And it's very important to add that just a few of these missiles, a lot of them are very large,

00:13:25.760 a couple thousand pounds of explosives, hitting places like the UAE, Dubai, shuts down the

00:13:33.040 tourism. Large portions of the population flee. They're international. And it costs them billions

00:13:41.020 of dollars every time this happens. In the aggregate, tens of billions. And already has

00:13:45.800 their economies on the verge of collapse. So the reason Iran is hitting those places is they have

00:13:52.060 U.S. military bases. So they hold the cards. Now this big development. Iran threatens to close

00:13:59.720 the Bab al-Mandab Strait. That's in the Red Sea. That's the Houthis. And a lot of the commerce

00:14:08.960 comes through there as well. So we're talking upwards of 40% of oil and other things not

00:14:14.860 coming through if that happens. And the Houthis have now been getting bombed themselves. So

00:14:18.820 they've been bombing the Saudi airports, the Kuwaiti airports with devastating effectiveness.
