00:14:10.440It's at the weakest point it's been since 2023.
00:14:14.680So here is, as I analyze this and as you analyze it, it's like during times of war, which we're in a time of war, whether it's the Iran conflict that we're seeing now or Russia and Ukraine.
00:14:28.700It's like it's just war is like all over.
00:14:31.240During times of war, the dollar usually is strong.
00:14:55.560And there has been money going into the dollar internationally, but it's not strong.
00:15:00.260it's at the weakest point ever so what gives right so what gives is the inflationary pressures that
00:15:06.700we're seeing and we put a couple puzzle pieces together and you and i talked about this when
00:15:11.880the japanese yen carry trade was over and it's now toast it's now not japan and their zero
00:15:18.320interest rate policy basically being the stimulus for every country around the globe how has
00:15:24.340inflation persisted and why do we have a weak dollar in america because of the buyer of last
00:15:30.700resort for u.s treasuries which is the federal reserve when u.s treasuries go to auction and
00:15:36.400nobody in the world wants them because they're de-dollarizing the fed buys them with what the
00:15:42.880press of a button on a printing press and they create money and they buy the u.s treasuries
00:15:47.900This is our inflationary pickle that we have in America and why this conflict in Iran is derailing Trump's own plans of stimulating the economy.
00:15:59.780Because when – and all commodities across the globe, whether it's gold, silver, oil, uranium, lithium, copper, all commodities are going up.
00:16:09.960Why? Because it takes more of a junk currency to buy them.
00:16:15.060Yeah. Now, when fertilizer supply chains coming out of the Strait of Hormuz are disrupted, you're going to have a food crisis coming, too.
00:16:23.960It's not just an oil crisis, right? So this is a problem.
00:16:27.660So what a weak dollar is telling us in a time of wartime is there is more printing of money than people could possibly imagine, right, because it's happening to us right here.
00:16:38.200So policy implications are you go back to what Trump has wanted Jerome Powell to do for a year, which is lower interest rates to stimulate the economy.
00:16:48.040Right. Which in an election year, as soon as this conflict is over, they will.
00:16:53.460This is my projection. They probably will get a couple of rate decreases, but then it can't last for long.
00:16:59.540That's going to be short lived because you have to raise interest rates to slow down inflation.
00:17:04.980And this inflation is out of control, Alex, out of control.
00:17:10.400So so here's where when you've got debt and you have to raise interest rates to slow down
00:17:16.220inflation, anybody who carries any debt is going to feel the pinch even more.
00:17:20.540Their bottom line is going to come down.
00:17:47.780And so we've got this clip of Warren Buffett just yesterday saying, and let me read this devastating quote by one of the smartest financial experts out there, probably the most.
00:17:57.560Warren Buffett just warned the U.S. dollar could collapse and admitted he doesn't understand most of the stock market anymore
00:18:02.700because it's just beyond a casino, totally flash trading, manipulated control.
00:18:08.740At 95 years old, sitting on $380 billion in cash, the first time watching from the sidelines instead of actively investing.
00:18:17.400So here he is explaining that the dollar could collapse.
00:21:50.280It pays beneficiaries when people die, right?
00:21:53.580So if the asset that they have to sell to pay those beneficiaries is coming down in price, this is going to have a cataclysmic effect on the insurance industry.
00:29:45.980I'm not saying that's the case as Trump is now in China with Xi Jinping,
00:29:50.060but when I was criticizing Trump, it was to get him to stop what he was doing.
00:29:54.280Like if we have a family member drinking a fifth of Jack Daniels every day
00:29:57.020and drunk driving, you're like, you're going to go to jail,
00:29:58.860you're going to kill somebody, your liver's going to fail.
00:30:01.060And so, but we saw the left mindlessly get behind their party no matter what, not just here but around the world.
00:30:09.500I was very ashamed of them, but I've seen, not as bad with them, but still, a large portion of Republicans, a minority, but 30% or so, just say, no, shut up.
00:31:39.560Trump had a plan that was challenging them and an example of the rest of the world
00:31:42.440that they can take that recovery down, they win, and now we're here.
00:31:45.660So it's no longer theoretical. You and I agreed on that. Now we've been proven right. And I just don't see how Trump doesn't put the brakes on this and pull out. The problem is the Iranians think we'll just come back and hit them again in six months. So they now know they've got us with the short hairs. Yes, they've been losing militarily, kinetically, sinking in a bunch of old boats and stuff and blowing up some 18 wheelers. But we've dropped 7.6 billion bombs on Vietnam over 15 years. They won because of attrition. We've dropped 22,000 bombs on them.
00:32:12.600So stop this talk that, you know, oh, we sunk boats.
