Transcript

00:00:01.000 The embattled Congressman Matt Gaetz.
00:00:03.000 Matt Gaetz was one of the very few members in the entire Congress
00:00:06.000 who bothered to stand up against permanent Washington on behalf of his constituents.
00:00:10.000 Matt Gaetz right now, he's a problem for the Democratic Party.
00:00:13.000 He could cause a lot of hiccups in passing applause.
00:00:16.000 So we're going to keep running those stories to keep hurting him.
00:00:20.000 If you stand for the flag and kneel in prayer,
00:00:23.000 if you want to build America up and not burn her to the ground,
00:00:27.000 then welcome, my fellow patriots.
00:00:29.000 You are in the right place.
00:00:31.000 This is the movement for you.
00:00:33.000 You ever watch this guy on television?
00:00:35.000 It's like a machine. Matt Gaetz.
00:00:38.000 I'm a canceled man in some corners of the Internet.
00:00:41.000 Many days I'm a marked man in Congress, a wanted man by the deep state.
00:00:46.000 They aren't really coming for me.
00:00:48.000 They're coming for you.
00:00:50.000 I'm just in the way.
00:00:52.000 The problem for President Biden, and you know, I listened to that speech to the AFL-CIO,
00:01:01.000 and I, you know, I heard him saying, you know, things are better now than they were at the height of the pandemic.
00:01:07.000 But I think the problem for this White House is people don't want things to be better than they were in 2020.
00:01:13.000 They want them to be as good as they were before the pandemic.
00:01:16.000 They don't want to go like, and that's the problem.
00:01:19.000 Got to say, when CNN nails it, they nail it.
00:01:25.000 That was a left-wing commentator giving Joe Biden the business that people just don't want to be back to pandemic-level misery.
00:01:33.000 They want to live their lives with success and prosperity like they did before the pandemic.
00:01:39.000 The Trump years, she might as well have just said it, the Trump years brought us more joy, brought us an America-first agenda.
00:01:47.000 Joe Biden doesn't get it.
00:01:48.000 He is going around the country right now trying to, I guess, ignite some sense of a domestic agenda.
00:01:55.000 But all we have is wokeness.
00:01:57.000 Now, right now, the United States House of Representatives is preparing to vote on a woke finance bill.
00:02:04.000 We're going to talk about woke football in this episode, but first, woke policing.
00:02:10.000 From Washington State, in alarming yet predictable news, the far-left Supreme Court has ruled that race should be considered when determining the legality of a police stop.
00:02:21.000 Justice Mary Yu, who definitely wants you to be sure to know that she is the first Asian, the first Latina, and the first lesbian judge to serve on the Washington Supreme Court,
00:02:32.000 said in her opinion, quote,
00:02:34.000 We formally recognize what has always been true.
00:02:38.000 In interactions with law enforcement, race and ethnicity matter.
00:02:44.000 Therefore, courts must consider the race and ethnicity of the alleged seized person as part of the totality of the circumstances when deciding whether there was a seizure.
00:02:57.000 In this particular case that presented for review, the suspect, Paula Sum, gave police a false name and date of birth, drove off as law enforcement checked for warrants, and then summarily crashed his car into a nearby yard.
00:03:09.000 We're told that Mr. Sum would not have known that after the police determined his car was not stolen, he would be free to leave.
00:03:14.000 So it's time for a refresher on the Fourth Amendment.
00:03:18.000 The right of people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects against unreasonable searches and seizures shall not be violated.
00:03:27.000 Notice the amendment says people.
00:03:30.000 Not black people, white people, Asian people.
00:03:33.000 It's all people.
00:03:35.000 Rather than codify a separate, parallel legal process predicated on one's race, America's legal system should treat everyone equally.
00:03:46.000 Last I checked, the Equal Protection Clause already applies to everyone.
00:03:50.000 Now, some attorneys asked the court to adopt a new standard for illegal seizures that included whether or not a, quote, reasonable person observing an arrest is familiar with patterns of policing in America and the risks a person of color takes in walking away from or disregarding police interaction.
00:04:11.000 That was the Washington Supreme Court's principle holding.
00:04:16.000 They agreed with that argument, that it's about race first, that we don't treat people equally.
00:04:22.000 I thought Lady Justice was supposed to be blind to these things, certainly blind to race.
00:04:27.000 I think it's safe to say that any notion of, like, an activist leftist judge is entirely proven by this decision because it certainly wasn't fact-based.
00:04:39.000 I will, as a member of the Judiciary Committee, always stand up for race-neutral laws and the application of our law totally disregarding the color of your skin or where you come from.
00:04:52.000 In America, people deserve to be treated equally.
00:04:55.000 And it's crazy that the Supreme Court of Washington State thinks otherwise.
00:04:59.000 But woveness is not just in policing, it is also in football.
00:05:03.000 As I promised, Yahoo Sports has reported that Ron Rivera, coach of the Washington Redskins, or whatever they're choosing to call themselves these days,
00:05:11.000 he just fined their defensive coordinator, Jack Del Rio, a $100,000 fine for comments Del Rio made comparing the January 6th protest to the George Floyd riots in the summer of 2020.
00:05:24.000 Here's what he had to say.
00:05:29.000 Let's get right down to it.
00:05:30.000 What did I ask?
00:05:31.000 A simple question.
00:05:33.000 Why are we not looking into those things if we're going to talk about it?
00:05:39.000 Why are we not looking into those things?
00:05:41.000 Because it's kind of hard for me to say.
00:05:43.000 I can realistically look at it.
00:05:46.000 I see the images on TV.
00:05:48.000 People's livelihoods are being destroyed.
00:05:51.000 Businesses are being burned down.
00:05:53.000 No problem.
00:05:54.000 And then we have a dust up at the Capitol.
00:05:58.000 Well, nothing burned down.
00:06:00.000 And we're not going to talk about, we're going to make that a major deal.
00:06:03.000 I just think it's kind of two standards.
00:06:06.000 And if we apply the same standard, and we're going to be reasonable with each other, let's have a discussion.
00:06:12.000 That's all it was.
00:06:13.000 Let's have a discussion.
00:06:14.000 We're Americans.
00:06:15.000 Let's talk it through.
00:06:16.000 We are back broadcasting live out of my congressional office on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C.
00:06:24.000 And the folks are watching on Instagram.
00:06:27.000 August says the liberal leaders are trying to steal our country and our Constitution.
00:06:31.000 On Rumble, Sir Knight says good afternoon, everyone, from Hiram, Georgia.
00:06:38.000 So frankly, on the Del Rio matter, there's no comparison.
00:06:40.000 The George Floyd riots were ten times worse.
00:06:43.000 Businesses were destroyed.
00:06:44.000 People were murdered.
00:06:45.000 Cities were on fire.
00:06:46.000 There was complete anarchy compared to what happened at the Capitol.
00:06:50.000 What Coach Jack Del Rio said wasn't a distraction.
00:06:54.000 The media and the Washington head coach made it one.
00:06:58.000 Maybe Ron Rivera should be more worried about winning games than what his defensive coordinators
00:07:02.000 talking about relative to politics.
00:07:04.000 When's the last time the Washington team was even successful in the playoffs in the NFC?
00:07:09.000 I can't even think of like the last time.
00:07:11.000 I guess Cousins was a decently good quarterback, but it ain't exactly like they've been crushing it in the capital city in football.
00:07:18.000 Coach Del Rio's comments were perfectly respectful, and he was within his rights as an American to speak his mind.
00:07:24.000 You don't surrender the Constitution because you go work for the NFL, especially when they're choosing wokeness.
00:07:29.000 What he said was hardly offensive to anyone, but because he committed wrong think, he's $100,000 lighter in his bank account and at risk of losing his job.
00:07:39.000 The president of the NAACP literally called for Jack Del Rio to be fired over this.
00:07:44.000 It's complete insanity.
00:07:46.000 Where is the NAACP and the NFL when their athletes are beating women?
00:07:52.000 We haven't forgotten about these incidents.
00:07:54.000 This is now Aaron Hernandez's new reality, the medium security facility here behind me, where he woke up in a jail cell this morning charged with murder.
00:08:05.000 Your Honor, the defendant is charged with the murder of Odin Lloyd.
00:08:09.000 The 23-year-old former New England Patriot tight end stood handcuffed in a T-shirt as prosecutors laid out the case against him.
00:08:16.000 Six charges in all, including the murder of his associate and semi-pro football player Odin Lloyd.
00:08:22.000 Police in Oakland, Florida now issuing a warrant for Zachary Stacey's arrest.
00:08:26.000 Again, we have to warn you, the video is extremely disturbing.
00:08:29.000 Here it is.
00:08:30.000 Stacey is seen punching his ex-girlfriend Kristen Evans twice in the head before picking her up and throwing her into the TV, causing that to fall over.
00:08:39.000 30-year-old Stacey played in the NFL with the New York Jets and the St. Louis Rams.
00:08:43.000 Evans filed for a restraining order against him, claiming he's been abusing her since she became pregnant with his baby last year.
00:08:49.000 TMZ Sports obtained the video that reveals everything that happened between Ray Rice and then-fiancee Janae Palmer at an Atlantic City Casino back in February.
00:08:58.000 So what happened is the two of them were clearly arguing outside the elevator.
00:09:01.000 They walked inside the elevator.
00:09:02.000 And immediately, Rice slaps her.
00:09:04.000 She moves towards him and he hits her hard.
00:09:07.000 Knocking her into the side of the elevator, she cracks her head on the handrail, goes out cold.
00:09:12.000 She's on the floor.
00:09:13.000 NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell did suspend Rice for two games.
00:09:18.000 The punishment was preposterously low, which the NFL has come out and admitted that it was way too low.
00:09:22.000 So maybe an organization that continues to produce alums of that organization that are serial killers and wife beaters and people who would harm pregnant women should be focused on things other than the political free expression of a defensive coordinator on the Washington team.
00:09:42.000 The left and their cronies are just sending the message that if you speak up, if you question the narrative, that they will ruin you.
00:09:51.000 But we know most Americans feel the exact same way as Jack Del Rio.
00:09:55.000 In fact, some on our live stream are saying he should sue the NFL.
00:09:58.000 That's David on Facebook.
00:09:59.000 And you see, that's what scares them.
00:10:01.000 Free thought.
00:10:02.000 Freedom of expression.
00:10:04.000 They lash out, grasping to control over the discourse because their power structure has never been weaker.
00:10:11.000 We are getting to them.
00:10:13.000 We are winning.
00:10:14.000 So don't be intimidated and keep up the good fight.
00:10:18.000 We're here broadcasting live.
00:10:19.000 Make sure you subscribe.
00:10:21.000 We've got notifications turned on.
00:10:22.000 And I am joined for this discussion with the acting legislative director of our office, Mike Robertson.
00:10:27.000 Mike, there's a vote just about to happen right now on the floor of the Congress regarding woke finance.
00:10:33.000 We go from woke NFL, woke policing, woke finance.
00:10:36.000 You are very much an expert on how the American economy works.
00:10:40.000 So share with our viewers and listeners what the Democrats think will solve inflation in Congress today.
00:10:47.000 Well, first of all, Matt, we need to think about where are the Democrats' priorities
00:10:51.000 and where are the Federal Reserve's priorities.
00:10:53.000 Right now the American people are experiencing 8.6% year-over-year inflation.
00:10:58.000 And as we have this massive inflation of the largest in 40 years,
00:11:02.000 Congress is set to experience consideration of $1.6 trillion in appropriation spending in FY23.
00:11:09.000 And so while we have some serious questions to have answered on what's this quantitative easing,
00:11:15.000 artificial low interest rates from the Federal Reserve,
00:11:18.000 having a balance sheet of $2.7 trillion in mortgage-backed securities
00:11:23.000 and just printing money, punishing people who are trying to hold onto their cash
00:11:27.000 and rewarding commercial banks who want to lend money to each other,
00:11:30.000 we would hope that our leaders in Congress on the Financial Services Committee would demand questions
00:11:35.000 and reporting from the Federal Reserve.
00:11:37.000 But instead, we have a social justice, woke equity bill that claims that they want to change,
00:11:43.000 they want to amend the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 and have a monetary policy aimed at using money mechanics
00:11:50.000 to manipulate and construe an outcome based on race, based on equity, which is not good.
00:11:56.000 So how would Democrats use this bill to make race a factor in the U.S. economy?
00:12:02.000 Well, aside from manipulating our largest institution and dealing with money and what our money is worth,
00:12:08.000 they also include some poison pills.
00:12:10.000 They want a government map of displaying only minority banks for people to access.
00:12:14.000 They want to force mortgage institutions to make every document they have in eight languages,
00:12:21.000 a minimum of eight languages, because Spanish and English aren't fair enough for everybody.
00:12:25.000 They want to have diversity and inclusion rankings for banks.
00:12:29.000 Wait, wait, wait. How does a bank even get a diversity and inclusion ranking?
00:12:33.000 This would come from the government regulating banks, whether they get a plus sign or a minus sign.
00:12:39.000 So this is very important. I have shared with viewers for quite some time that I believe that the next iteration of cancel culture
00:12:46.000 comes through the U.S. financial system, where everything you buy, the cost of everything,
00:12:52.000 is going to be based on whether or not you're woke enough.
00:12:55.000 And that starts at your banks, at community banks, at big banks.
00:12:59.000 And what you're saying to us, Mike Robertson, is that this legislation would actually gaslight a regulatory system
00:13:08.000 that made the U.S. economy a race-first institution?
00:13:12.000 A hundred percent, Matt. And they just are staying ignorant, not caring, not acknowledging that inflation is a regressive tax.
00:13:20.000 This hurts middle America the most, those that are the least well-off.
00:13:24.000 And if you want to talk about equity and what's good for this country,
00:13:27.000 it's looking out for everybody on an equal standard and equal basis and not ignoring the problem we have at hand.
00:13:32.000 And so that's what we're talking about.
00:13:33.000 And it's a dual penalty, really, this legislation, because in one hand, like you say,
00:13:38.000 they're ignoring this very serious problem that you outlined about inflation and how it hurts people
00:13:43.000 and that we need to stop doing things that harm American families that are out there working.
00:13:48.000 So it's that they're not doing that.
00:13:50.000 And then what they're doing instead is incredibly damaging to a free-functioning economy
00:13:55.000 where people's ideas and commerce define their success rather than their race
00:13:59.000 and whether or not they get the right diversity and inclusion score.
00:14:02.000 Absolutely. And this is...
00:14:03.000 Is this the worst bill that we voted on this, certainly like this month?
00:14:07.000 Well, maybe in 2022, there's certainly the $2 trillion from the Biden administration
00:14:11.000 that is an input in the inflation we have.
00:14:13.000 So it's as if they've caused the problem at the beginning of the Biden presidency
00:14:17.000 and are failing to acknowledge that elections are coming up and they just want some red meat
00:14:22.000 or maybe some blue meat for their base because they don't care.
00:14:25.000 I would never eat blue meat.
00:14:26.000 I wouldn't either.
00:14:27.000 Strongly advise again, if your meat is blue, do not eat it.
00:14:30.000 Right.
00:14:31.000 So as we go forward, if Republicans take control of the Congress, I think it's going to be very important
00:14:37.000 for us to actually win some battles to stop this crushing inflation.
00:14:41.000 I think the answer to that is standing up against the spending.
00:14:45.000 You know, spending, deficit spending, that is always the hallmark of the bipartisanship
00:14:51.000 that the Uniparty always wants to pitch to the American people.
00:14:55.000 I think that we can't surrender, like, the integrity of the U.S. dollar to get some conservative
00:15:01.000 policy we want.
00:15:02.000 And this office will be a bulwark against this deficit spending that is crushing our
00:15:08.000 economy and leading to more inflation.
00:15:10.000 That's absolutely right, Matt.
00:15:11.000 I've never heard of any co-workers, any staff in the halls of Congress telling me they've
00:15:15.000 gotten a lobbyist reaching out to them wanting to cut deficit spending or wanting to stop spending
00:15:20.000 in America.
00:15:21.000 And it's time that our leaders in Congress, times that Congressman Matt Gaetz stands up for the
00:15:24.000 American people and people join him in this office and actually trying to have a functioning
00:15:28.000 priority list of how we're going to get the U.S. dollar and its strength and essentially
00:15:31.000 everybody's wealth, everybody's purchasing power back to where it should be and not focusing
00:15:35.000 on sideshows in Congress.
00:15:37.000 Well, Mike has highlighted something very important.
00:15:39.000 There is not a strong lobby in Washington, D.C. to reduce spending.
00:15:43.000 All these lobbyists here that make gazillions of dollars, that run around in their thousand
00:15:47.000 dollar suits and their $500 pair of shoes, they're here to spend more of your money.
00:15:51.000 And the problem is there are real victims of that.
00:15:54.000 The American families who see the price of gas going up, the price of food going up,
00:15:58.000 and we will continue to fight for you.
00:16:00.000 We've got to get down to the floor to cast this vote against this terrible bill,
00:16:04.000 probably the worst bill that has been brought to the floor in 2022.
00:16:07.000 And, Mike, who's the sponsor of this terrible legislation?
00:16:10.000 Maxine Waters.
00:16:11.000 Maxine freaking Waters.
00:16:12.000 Of course it's Maxine Waters.
00:16:13.000 She shouldn't even be in Congress.
00:16:14.000 She should have been censured in Congress for encouraging violence.
00:16:17.000 Well, we're going to go down there, oppose Maxine Waters, oppose this bill,
00:16:21.000 stand up for responsible economic policy.
00:16:23.000 Thanks so much for joining us for this very short episode,
00:16:26.000 but we wanted to get those important updates to you.
00:16:28.000 Roll the credits.
00:16:29.000 Have a great day.
00:16:30.000 Here we are.
00:16:34.000 In Theigh Annatee.
00:16:37.000 Take a note.
