Transcript

00:00:00.000 Matt Gaetz was one of the very few members in the entire Congress who bothered to stand up against permanent Washington on behalf of his constituents.
00:00:10.000 Matt Gaetz right now, he's a problem in the Democratic Party.
00:00:13.000 He could cause a lot of hiccups in passing applause.
00:00:16.000 So we're going to keep running those stories to keep hurting him.
00:00:19.000 If you stand for the flag and kneel in prayer, if you want to build America up and not burn her to the ground,
00:00:26.000 then welcome, my fellow patriots. You are in the right place. This is the movement for you.
00:00:32.000 You ever watch this guy on television? Like a machine. Matt Gaetz.
00:00:37.000 I'm a canceled man in some corners of the Internet. Many days I'm a marked man in Congress, a wanted man by the deep state.
00:00:45.000 They aren't really coming for me. They're coming for you. I'm just in the way.
00:00:56.000 Mr. President, first Detroit auto show in three years. Yeah. Is the pandemic over?
00:01:03.000 The pandemic is over. We still have a problem with COVID. We're still doing a lot of work on it.
00:01:09.000 It's but the pandemic is over. If you notice, no one's wearing masks.
00:01:13.000 Everybody seems to be in pretty good shape. And so I think it's changing.
00:01:17.000 And I think this is a perfect example of it.
00:01:20.000 Well, there you have it. The pandemic is over. Everyone's in good shape.
00:01:26.000 It's quite something declared by Joe Biden, a man who is clearly not himself in good shape.
00:01:31.000 But do not allow that to spoil the fun.
00:01:34.000 But if the pandemic is over, maybe Joe Biden should repeal the emergency order that was the basis of so many governments restricting our freedoms.
00:01:44.000 If the pandemic is over, maybe someone ought to tell the heroes in our military and the patriots who were purged and driven out of our military as a consequence of not being willing to take an experimental vaccine.
00:01:57.000 Maybe they ought to be restored with their full rank and back pay as a reparation.
00:02:01.000 If the pandemic is over, then maybe we ought to have every child in America back in school without the rotations that are resulting in learning loss.
00:02:11.000 If the pandemic is over, then maybe the Biden administration won't come back to Congress for more inflationary spending in the name of the pandemic.
00:02:22.000 Well, you know what? The Joe Biden administration still wants all of the powers that it seized during the pandemic.
00:02:29.000 Tyrants at every level of government actually still do.
00:02:32.000 There are still some mayors out there enforcing mask mandates, social distancing, for goodness sakes, people not able to gather.
00:02:40.000 You know what? The White House has walked this back already.
00:02:44.000 They were walking it back almost as Joe Biden was saying it, making very clear that stating that the pandemic was over was not in the original plan for Joe Biden's interview with Scott Pelley.
00:02:57.000 Well, you don't say the gaffe of a president, Joe Biden, actually making an admission, an admission that the only basis to continue this pandemic is the desire for bureaucrats and tyrants to continue to be able to make your decisions for you.
00:03:14.900 And you wonder, what's the next pandemic like? Is it going to be climate change?
00:03:18.900 One day is the climate core just authorized in this inflation reduction act going to be knocking on your door saying that you have to be locked down.
00:03:28.900 You have to stay in your home. You can't have a job so that eight polar bears in the Adirondack can wander around.
00:03:34.900 I don't even know if there are. You know what? They might not be there. Anyhow, you get the point.
00:03:38.900 These things never come in ones. And it's quite something that they still don't want to give this up in Congress.
00:03:45.900 There was also a walk back of the Joe Biden admission.
00:03:49.900 Here's Democratic Majority Leader Steny Hoyer explaining to you that it all really depends on what the definition of over is.
00:03:58.900 Here's the majority leader. The House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer defended the president and explained why he believes some covid relief is still not.
00:04:08.900 Necessary. Well, of course, some of this is for places that it's not over.
00:04:14.900 We don't want to say it went to be introduced in this country.
00:04:17.900 I guess over is sort of, you know, subjective in terms of what does over mean?
00:04:27.900 What does over mean to you? Well, you know what I'm over?
00:04:30.900 I'm over any circumstance where my constituents don't get to live their lives, have their jobs, hug their families, have a barbecue because the people in Washington decided that they were going to engage in covid fear porn because that happened to be what Dr.
00:04:47.900 Fauci agreed with that day. So I think the American people actually know what the word over means.
00:04:52.900 I don't think they need a subjective definition from Steny Hoyer or anyone else.
00:04:57.900 And it's time for government to release the reins of covid and allow our people to be free once again.
00:05:05.900 Thank you, Mr. President. Thanks for declaring that it's over.
00:05:08.900 And now for a segment on the show, we like to call Florida man.
00:05:21.900 Florida man spotlight.
00:05:26.900 Today's Florida man segment highlights an instance of discrimination against a terrific Florida man.
00:05:33.900 Jonathan Isaac was a standout basketball player at Florida State University.
00:05:38.900 Go Knowles. Actually, the three and no Knowles, by the way.
00:05:42.900 And in 2017, he was drafted sixth overall by the Orlando Magic.
00:05:46.900 So imagine that you're the Orlando Magic.
00:05:48.900 You could pick anyone in the world for basketball other than the five selected before you from our country from overseas.
00:05:55.900 They select Jonathan Isaac homegrown Florida grown just like a Florida orange.
00:06:01.900 Now, there has been a lot of recent talk about Jonathan Isaac making that trek down the Florida turnpike
00:06:08.900 and potentially being traded to the Miami Heat, another Florida professional basketball team.
00:06:14.900 Miami needs a power forward.
00:06:17.900 Jonathan Isaac is a power forward and the Miami Heat don't have a starting caliber power forward on their roster right now.
00:06:25.900 So the possibility of a trade for Jonathan Isaac to the Heat was recently discussed on the podcast Locked on Heat.
00:06:36.900 But despite the clear need and the ideal fit, some woke pundits have decided that trades must take into account wokeness as a feature of whether or not someone fits in.
00:06:50.900 It's like the woke sports media wants an ESG score, but for basketball players.
00:06:57.900 This is Locked on Heat. Listen to Wes Goldberg and David Ramil discuss the possibility of a Jonathan Isaac trade to the Miami Heat.
00:07:05.900 And then one other name I'll throw out you is Jonathan Isaac, right? Like you just look at Orlando's roster.
00:07:12.900 I know Isaac hasn't played in two years, but he's a power forward. He would probably if Miami had him, him and Bam, that would be the best defensive front court in the league by far.
00:07:22.900 Jonathan Isaac. Well, let's just say I hope the Heat have no interest in acquiring him because as interesting a fit as that might be.
00:07:30.900 Well, let's just say the off the court interest might not necessarily make him a great fit in the Miami locker room.
00:07:35.900 Sounds like Jonathan Isaac is a bad guy according to David Ramil, right? Bad locker room fit. Potential problems off the court.
00:07:46.900 Did Jonathan Isaac jump into the stands and beat up a bunch of fans like Ron Artest? I mean, I'm sorry, Meta World Peace did?
00:07:55.700 Did he get pulled over with guns and drugs in his car like Torian Prince? Did he pull a gun on his baby mama like Terrence Williams?
00:08:04.460 Those are NBA players, but Jonathan Isaac didn't do any of that.
00:08:08.740 Never an issue regarding his personal conduct at FSU, at the Orlando Magic.
00:08:13.400 No. Jonathan Isaac is a problem, according to David Ramil, because he is an outspoken Christian conservative.
00:08:24.820 In his spare time, Jonathan Isaac preaches at Jump Ministries Global Church in Orlando.
00:08:30.140 They're doing a lot of good work there.
00:08:32.380 Isaac even made national news when he spoke out against the vaccine mandate.
00:08:37.380 Take a listen.
00:08:37.840 I thank God. I'm grateful that I live in a society where vaccines are possible and we can protect ourselves and have the means to protect ourselves for the first in the first place.
00:08:50.060 But with that being said, it is my belief that the vaccine status of every person should be their own choice and completely up to them without the without bullying, without being pressured or without being forced into doing so.
00:09:04.440 I'm not ashamed to say that I'm uncomfortable with taking the vaccine at this time.
00:09:09.580 I think that we're all different.
00:09:11.300 We all come from different places.
00:09:12.540 We've all have had different experiences and hold dear to different beliefs.
00:09:16.180 And what it is that you do with your body when it comes to putting medicine in there should be your choice, free of the ridicule and the opinion of others.
00:09:27.380 From this smooth shooting power forward, we got greater clarity and focus and common sense than we saw out of the CDC or a lot of people in Congress, actually.
00:09:38.700 He embraced the concept of personal responsibility, make yourself as resilient as you can.
00:09:44.660 And in his circumstance, you obviously see not only a very healthy individual, but a great guy and a brave one.
00:09:52.620 On July 31st, 2020, in a game against the Brooklyn Nets, Jonathan Isaac was the only player to stand during our national anthem.
00:10:03.760 When questioned after the game, he said, quote,
00:10:05.920 Jonathan Isaac went on to write a book titled, Why I Stand.
00:10:24.360 And he talks very convincingly about Christianity and the power to shape lives and to help through adversity and challenges.
00:10:32.980 But here's the real question.
00:10:36.700 If a superstar NBA lottery pick playing in his state where he went to college cannot speak out without facing professional consequence and ridicule, then how can regular Americans, and that's the point, to make you think that any profession of faith or conservatism could harm you?
00:11:00.360 They want you to know that.
00:11:01.360 That's why people like David Ramil say what they do about Jonathan Isaac, that he would be a bad fit, because ultimately, the people who think that way want you to think you're a bad fit at your job, in your family, with your social group.
00:11:15.540 And the reality is that the common sense and clarity of Jonathan Isaac is a lot more in line with the values of Americans than actually what we see from professional wokeism that you see manifest from the Congress to corporate America, even to professional athletics.
00:11:33.540 Sometimes, sometimes being a person of faith is uncomfortable.
00:11:39.040 We see that throughout Scripture.
00:11:41.360 What an easy for Paul to be an apostle out there, apostlin'.
00:11:46.540 You think it was easy for Noah to go build an ark and collect animals two by two?
00:11:51.840 Probably pretty messy on that ark.
00:11:53.980 But you know what?
00:11:54.460 Sometimes, you have to put yourself out there, you have to show your faith, your belief, and that's what happened to Jonathan Isaac.
00:12:03.800 And you know what?
00:12:05.080 He was unfairly ridiculed for it.
00:12:07.220 The Miami Heat still need a power forward, by the way.
00:12:10.220 And I think Jonathan Isaac would be a perfect fit.
00:12:12.220 So, David Ramil, remember, there's no woke locker room in hell.
00:12:18.260 And there ought to be acceptance for all people of all faiths or people of no faith at all.
00:12:24.540 And that is what we learn from the Florida Man Spotlight.
00:12:29.240 Next, we're going to a segment called Today in Congress.
00:12:37.480 Today in Congress.
00:12:42.220 Today in Congress, there is intense focus on energy prices, inflation, the cost of living.
00:12:48.200 Here's some data that you need to know.
00:12:49.900 Energy prices are currently on the rise.
00:12:53.300 This is very important because winter is soon approaching.
00:12:56.220 And we can see now that there are going to be real problems for people in the Midwest and other areas where they could face a cold spell.
00:13:03.940 Check this out.
00:13:05.140 Electricity prices had the largest increase since 1981 last month.
00:13:11.380 And natural gas costs have nearly doubled.
00:13:15.380 Now, that's not an accident.
00:13:16.700 It's because in the Paycheck Reduction Act that the Democrats advanced, there was actually a natural gas tax.
00:13:26.160 So, if you tax the onshoring of national gas, which is what they're doing if that is extracted over water,
00:13:32.940 then you drive up the cost, you limit the investment, and you impact the general balance of supply and demand.
00:13:40.040 And so, today on the floor, Republicans will attempt a procedural move to bring up H.R. 8749,
00:13:48.160 which would repeal the natural gas tax that the Democrats baked into some of their prior legislation.
00:13:55.880 That would be a vision for Republican control that certainly wouldn't lead to the intense pressure that you get from this type of rising inflation and rising prices.
00:14:06.940 We also want to take you to the grocery store.
00:14:10.560 And I hear as much about inflation at the grocery store as I do even at the gas pump.
00:14:16.320 And you have to see these things interconnected because a lot of the fuel costs that are driving up what you pay at the pump
00:14:22.220 go into the costs that we pay at the grocery store.
00:14:25.400 Remember, 13.5%, 13.5%.
00:14:30.520 That is the increase in groceries as a result of inflation between last August and the August prior.
00:14:40.740 Now, this is the largest one-year increase in the cost of groceries since 1979.
00:14:48.040 So, remember those numbers.
00:14:49.140 Right now, we're in a world where highest grocery inflation since 1979, I'm sorry, 1979, 13.5%.
00:14:56.640 And then you have the largest increase in energy costs since 1981.
00:15:04.260 That is the Biden agenda.
00:15:06.240 And they are doing everything from the White House to try to distract people,
00:15:11.320 to get people off of their focus on economic issues.
00:15:14.740 We certainly see that a lot of folks are understanding it.
00:15:18.220 We see the Impeach Biden movement getting a lot of attention on Instagram.
00:15:22.900 Oh, even a viewer from England.
00:15:26.120 So, thank you so much, everyone, for tuning in.
00:15:28.820 We are always simulcast streaming.
00:15:31.720 So, make sure that you have your notifications turned on.
00:15:35.060 Make sure you are subscribed.
00:15:37.060 Also, wanted to note that the Bidenflation we're experiencing is something highly predictable.
00:15:44.080 It's something solvable if we cut spending.
00:15:46.040 Check out this little piece of work that members of my team put out this past week.
00:15:51.600 America is a nation that can be defined in a single word.
00:15:57.440 Bidenflation update.
00:15:59.820 Come on, man.
00:16:01.560 Exactly four weeks ago today, I signed the Inflation Reduction Act in the law.
00:16:06.600 A single most important legislation passed in the Congress to combat inflation.
00:16:10.820 And one of the most significant laws in our nation's history, in my view.
00:16:15.380 Mr. President, as you know, last Tuesday, the annual inflation rate came in at 8.3%.
00:16:21.720 The stock market nosedived.
00:16:24.540 So, it fell with the Democrats to meet this moment and deliver for the American people.
00:16:29.000 And that's exactly what we did.
00:16:31.480 People are shocked.
00:16:33.220 Well, first of all, let's put this in perspective.
00:16:34.920 Jeff, inflation rate month to month was just an inch.
00:16:39.540 You're not arguing that 8.3% is good news.
00:16:42.120 No, I'm not saying it is good news.
00:16:43.480 But it was 8.2% or 8.2% before.
00:16:46.240 That's the highest inflation rate, Mr. President, in 40 years.
00:16:49.500 I got that.
00:16:50.340 We are seeing the effects of this inflation on investment confidence, consumer confidence.
00:16:59.620 Saw recent reports that at Goldman Sachs, they're having a moratorium on hiring.
00:17:05.120 They're going to have fewer promotions.
00:17:07.120 And it's because they think that there are going to be fewer deals done in this economy.
00:17:11.580 Remember, a critical feature of the Trump tax cuts was the onshoring of capital and revenue.
00:17:17.800 Because during the Obama years, when mandates drove your businesses to smaller employee numbers,
00:17:25.300 to lower revenue amounts, well, then people created offshore subsidiaries.
00:17:29.420 And they would hold their intellectual property offshore.
00:17:31.820 And they would use that as a basis to escape the U.S. tax system.
00:17:34.940 And by the way, that wasn't something regular Americans were doing.
00:17:38.380 You were still paying taxes through payroll taxes, income taxes, and the like.
00:17:42.920 But the wealthy and the powerful were able to put the costs on the regular folks
00:17:48.960 and then engage in this massive amount of offshoring.
00:17:52.120 Trump's tax cuts re-onshored that capital where it went to the wages, investments, consumer confidence.
00:17:58.820 And then you saw the wheels of the American economy starting to really spin at a high rate.
00:18:05.400 And it was causing more deal-making and growth beyond what the Obama-Biden administration
00:18:10.320 ever told us we could ever have.
00:18:11.840 Now, compare that to some of these inflation numbers.
00:18:15.360 Under President Biden, workers' wages have dropped over 4%,
00:18:20.000 prompting a majority of Americans to do more bargain hunting.
00:18:25.300 Imagine that.
00:18:26.140 You're expected to do less, live less, have diminished dreams and expectations because of that wage drop.
00:18:34.740 Real wages have fallen every single month since President Biden's $1.9 trillion stimulus package.
00:18:41.400 More than half of all Americans are spending up to $500 a month on groceries.
00:18:47.400 $500 a month on groceries.
00:18:49.100 I mean, that used to be what you'd pay in rent.
00:18:51.260 Now that's groceries.
00:18:52.740 More than half of Americans are doing that.
00:18:55.580 The savings for low-income people have basically been wiped out under the Biden economy.
00:19:02.400 I mean, a lot of working people do have 401ks as our economy has moved out of a defined benefit system to a defined contribution system.
00:19:12.060 And those 401ks were just on the rise.
00:19:15.420 I mean, we were roaring as a country under the Trump economy.
00:19:20.260 And then one of the iconic images of the Biden presidency, amongst so many tragic ones to choose from,
00:19:26.300 will be Joe Biden holding a celebration at the White House over all of his legislative achievements.
00:19:32.480 As you see in the corner, the Dow just plummet.
00:19:35.280 And those folks who've made that little contribution in each paycheck to their 401k, maybe got an employer match, just saw their dreams, their retirement, the value of their life continued to decline.
00:19:49.620 26 million low-income households have seen their savings totally wiped out as a result of the inflationary cycles in this economy.
00:19:59.880 26 million.
00:20:00.660 Maybe if 26 million Americans lost all of their savings on the same day the President of the United States is out there saying that the pandemic is over,
00:20:09.480 that we should stop the pandemic-infused inflationary spending that is crushing people.
00:20:15.700 Just an idea.
00:20:17.260 More than 60% of job creators fear inflation will drive them out of business.
00:20:22.500 And this is where this thing starts to cycle downhill very quickly for us, a lot in the way that Joe Biden is cycling downhill.
00:20:29.400 Because if major businesses believe that their own prospects are impaired by the inflation that we are seeing today,
00:20:36.980 that the value of their deals is diminished, if their supply chain is disrupted,
00:20:42.160 well, then they're not going to make the promotions and the new hires.
00:20:45.680 They're not going to open that new branch store or maybe take a risk and do more capital investment.
00:20:50.140 And by the way, for those of you who do, the cost of money now is going to be higher at the bank and it's going to be harder to take that risk because of rising rates.
00:20:58.760 Rates that, you know, now that we're really behind the eight ball, because people like Janet Yellen told us that inflation wasn't going to happen,
00:21:06.200 we're going to see a far more, I think, severe adjustment of the U.S. economy.
00:21:11.640 And the regular folks that are out there working hard, doing everything they can for their families are the ones that are going to be screwed over.
00:21:18.480 I'm going to cover this.
00:21:19.980 I'm going to cover the wasteful spending that we see out of Congress.
00:21:23.420 And if Republicans are trusted by the voters to take control, we must hold their feet to the fire.
00:21:30.420 We cannot pass government funding bills that continue to operationalize a system that has been weaponized against the people while that very spending is wiping out the savings that hardworking Americans have toiled for their entire lives.
00:21:48.640 That must be the mission.
00:21:50.360 That is the mandate.
00:21:51.200 The mandate for Republicans is to stop the inflation, stop the spending, stop paying people not to work, and to get this economy roaring again.
00:22:01.200 And I know we can do it because we've done it before.
00:22:03.920 And actually, if you have the discipline, if you have a little bit of fortitude, it's not even going to be that difficult.
00:22:10.860 The difficult part will be focusing the investigative work of the next Congress because there's so much corruption.
00:22:18.160 There have been so many bad acts.
00:22:19.520 We're going to be talking a lot about that on future episodes of Firebrand.
00:22:23.340 The best way to make sure you have the most cutting-edge information regarding what the Congress is focused on each and every day, make sure you're subscribed.
00:22:31.260 And if you are an Apple iTunes listener, give us that five-star rating.
00:22:35.680 Help us get over that 4,000 rating mark.
00:22:38.420 That's going to be something.
00:22:39.320 I can't believe that.
00:22:40.340 Over 4,000 ratings.
00:22:41.900 We're almost there.
00:22:42.880 You can help us out.
