The Anchormen Show with Matt Gaetz - Episode 79 LIVE： Gender Ideology in D.O.D. – Firebrand with Matt Gaetz

00:00:00.000 The embattled Congressman Matt Gaetz.

00:00:03.660 Matt Gaetz was one of the very few members in the entire Congress

00:00:06.520 who bothered to stand up against permanent Washington on behalf of his constituents.

00:00:10.940 Matt Gaetz right now, he's a problem for the Democratic Party.

00:00:13.720 And he could cause a lot of hiccups in passing applause.

00:00:16.760 So we're going to keep running those stories to keep hurting him.

00:00:20.140 If you stand for the flag and kneel in prayer,

00:00:23.320 if you want to build America up and not burn her to the ground,

00:00:26.780 then welcome, my fellow patriots. You are in the right place.

00:00:31.060 This is the movement for you.

00:00:33.140 You ever watch this guy on television?

00:00:35.300 It's like a machine. Matt Gaetz.

00:00:37.900 I'm a canceled man in some corners of the Internet.

00:00:41.060 Many days I'm a marked man in Congress, a wanted man by the deep state.

00:00:45.880 They aren't really coming for me. They're coming for you.

00:00:49.660 I'm just in the way.

00:00:50.960 Welcome. We are live broadcasting from room 2021 of the Rayburn Office Building

00:01:01.020 in the Capitol Complex in Washington, D.C.

00:01:03.360 And I've got an important update regarding a vote that just happened.

00:01:07.500 And for one person, a vote that actually didn't just happen

00:01:10.920 regarding the woke, radical gender ideology 1.00

00:01:14.700 that has been really forced down the throat of our military in a lot of cases.

00:01:19.680 So a key Republican inquiry on how this gender ideology is affecting the military.

00:01:25.260 I'm going to show you the debate, and we're going to talk about who did

00:01:27.920 and did not participate in that fight and what it tells us about the next Congress.

00:01:32.280 Wanted to take note, all the folks let me know that they're tuning in

00:01:35.260 from Erie, Pennsylvania, McAllen, Texas, Benson, North Carolina,

00:01:39.920 Pensacola, Florida, Hudson Valley, New York.

00:01:42.380 Thank you all so much.

00:01:43.440 Ensure that you get notifications by clicking that bell if you're watching on Rumble

00:01:49.420 or if you're watching on YouTube.

00:01:51.660 And then you want to be subscribed to the podcast so that you're up to date

00:01:55.160 on all the information from right here inside our congressional office in Washington, D.C.

00:02:00.600 I want to start today's show with a discussion of the Twitter files.

00:02:04.180 Now, as we've all watched, Elon Musk's lawful yet hostile takeover of the Byrd app

00:02:09.480 has ruffled a lot of feathers, and it's easy to see why the leftist cronies are so triggered.

00:02:15.940 Elon has begun exposing Twitter's corruption and collusion slowly and deliberately

00:02:21.860 through the release of these internal communications between Twitter execs and employees.

00:02:27.240 It's known as the Twitter files.

00:02:29.300 I was on a Twitter space recently with Charlie Kirk, and the question was raised,

00:02:33.180 I wonder why they didn't delete these things.

00:02:35.020 And maybe this horrible stuff that you've seen in the releases, maybe it wasn't deleted

00:02:40.020 because they're actually proud of it.

00:02:41.780 That's what they actually think about the rest of us, that we deserve the censorship

00:02:45.280 and for them to make decisions on our behalf.

00:02:48.460 So first, Elon made us aware of Twitter's collusion with the Biden campaign.

00:02:53.400 Now, apparently the Biden campaign had the ability to get posts removed

00:02:57.880 just by emailing Twitter's moderation department.

00:03:01.000 And then the moderation department would just email back, handled.

00:03:05.640 That is the definition of collusion.

00:03:08.740 And what is an absolutely egregious violation of the spirit of the First Amendment,

00:03:13.120 we see what was happening, and we have it in writing.

00:03:17.180 Because now we know exactly how the left is.

00:03:21.140 At first, they say you're a conspiracy theorist and this stuff isn't happening.

00:03:24.880 And then second, when it actually is happening, they say it's a good thing

00:03:29.740 and you should be thankful for it.

00:03:32.180 Speaking of conspiracies, it turns out that Twitter has been shadow banning conservatives the whole time.

00:03:38.620 And yours truly has been a target.

00:03:41.760 Take a look at what the creepy commissar of Twitter himself, Yoel Roth,

00:03:46.060 the former head of trust and safety, had to say about permanently banning me from Twitter.

00:03:52.600 We're putting up the screenshot now.

00:03:54.320 This is directly from the Twitter files.

00:03:56.180 For those of you listening, they basically say,

00:03:59.120 we should just ban Gates, working on that.

00:04:02.340 Well, it doesn't quite fit anywhere, duh.

00:04:04.860 Right, because what I was doing didn't violate any rules.

00:04:09.100 But I'm trying to talk trust and safety into treating it as incitement.

00:04:14.080 Remember, this tells you a lot about the left.

00:04:16.600 When they don't like what you're saying,

00:04:18.560 when they object to your speech, they conflate speech with violence.

00:04:23.800 But speech isn't violence.

00:04:25.840 Speech is actually what stops us from devolving into violence.

00:04:29.560 But right here, conflating speech with violence,

00:04:32.900 that's exactly what you see the media trying to do to Marjorie Teller Greene today, 1.00

00:04:38.040 which is a total joke.

00:04:39.760 I'm glad she's not giving it any more dignity than it deserves.

00:04:44.180 But it's also exactly what Kevin McCarthy said about me.

00:04:48.440 In the days following my criticism of Liz Cheney,

00:04:51.800 Kevin McCarthy said that might have been gaslighting violence.

00:04:55.180 So the same mentality that you see from the media today with Marjorie Teller Greene,

00:05:00.020 that you see from the Twitter executives trying to ban me,

00:05:03.280 was manifested in Kevin McCarthy's own thinking.

00:05:06.600 You know what?

00:05:07.160 In a civilized society, speech is speech and violence is violence.

00:05:11.180 And they're very different, they look very different, 0.97

00:05:14.420 and it's only fools who try to conflate them. 0.95

00:05:17.320 Or it's people who are evil, who are actually trying to control behavior, 0.98

00:05:22.060 and so they use this as their mechanism to do so.

00:05:25.200 And, you know, you have also in this Slack this concurment from other folks at Twitter

00:05:30.200 that Mac Gates was dangerous and deserved removal for incitement.

00:05:35.180 As of today, I stand alone as the only lawmaker singled out by Twitter in this way.

00:05:43.700 All the members of Congress that they could censor.

00:05:47.060 And they wanted me the most.

00:05:50.420 Pretty amazing.

00:05:52.520 These things aren't random or done by accident.

00:05:55.140 There is a purpose to the efforts of the regime to silence those who pose a threat.

00:06:00.200 Catch the signal, not the noise, a brilliant man often says.

00:06:03.160 Well, here's the signal.

00:06:05.660 My name appears on Big Tech's censorship files.

00:06:09.420 Kevin McCarthy's name appears on Big Tech's political donation lists.

00:06:15.140 So who do you really trust to take these people on?

00:06:19.120 No more professional wrestling with Big Tech should be tolerated.

00:06:23.960 No more puppet shows masquerading as oversight,

00:06:27.200 which is exactly what happened when Kevin McCarthy was majority leader.

00:06:30.920 They were never called to account, never truly.

00:06:34.340 Now, Kevin McCarthy has been called Big Tech's best friend.

00:06:38.480 And you could tell by the Twitter files that I'm their worst enemy.

00:06:43.020 And I wouldn't have it any other way.

00:06:45.760 I would expect that other members of Congress were also impacted negatively by Twitter's corruption.

00:06:50.960 We saw years ago that Jim Jordan, Mark Meadows, and Devin Nunes joined me on a censorship list during the Russia hoax.

00:06:59.820 Because we were the ones telling the truth.

00:07:02.180 So first they said we were conspiracy theorists.

00:07:04.620 Then when the evidence came out that we weren't, they did everything they could to shadow ban us.

00:07:08.520 And now you have the national security apparatus saying,

00:07:11.240 you know what, everything we did to harm Trump, it was justified because he's an insurrectionist.

00:07:17.280 What a joke.

00:07:17.900 You know, I'm virtually certain that Twitter never censored Kevin McCarthy.

00:07:24.040 And we all know that that's either because he's controlled opposition or otherwise compromised,

00:07:29.060 probably through political donations.

00:07:31.100 When the media called us conspiracy theorists,

00:07:34.580 McCarthy was silent and he was spared.

00:07:39.440 That's how it works.

00:07:41.240 Those of us who are the actual fighters,

00:07:43.200 Well, Twitter was colluding with the Democrats and the deep state to shadow ban us,

00:07:49.620 censor us,

00:07:50.700 ban conservatives.

00:07:52.760 This country has always leaned center right.

00:07:55.060 At worst, it's a 50-50 country.

00:07:57.600 We can't have the gatekeepers of information

00:08:00.040 throttling the free flow of dissenting or unpopular opinions,

00:08:04.600 much less the opinions that are shared by the majority of Americans.

00:08:07.540 And now we see that these gatekeepers are massive, international, stateless corporations,

00:08:14.380 unaccountable to the people or even their own rules or standards.

00:08:18.100 You see in the Twitter files, when the standard doesn't fit,

00:08:21.560 they just say to hell with it.

00:08:22.580 Let's find a justification to ban people anyway who are saying things we don't like.

00:08:27.880 Now, there will always be spineless regime apologists

00:08:31.780 that owe their existence to preserving this corrupt system.

00:08:35.600 And speaking of invertebrates,

00:08:38.000 remember when Lincoln Project stooge Rick Wilson

00:08:40.360 went on MSNBC to play defense for Twitter

00:08:43.260 when they were facing these allegations initially?

00:08:45.480 Take a listen. 0.99

00:08:48.340 Whitey bitch victimhood from Matt Gaetz and Ken Buck 1.00

00:08:52.440 and Jim Jordan and Marjorie Taylor Cuckoo QAnon Green 0.99

00:08:56.060 and all these other people. 0.98

00:08:57.440 It is the most pathetic example of special pleading I've ever seen. 0.98

00:09:02.380 They act as if they've been oppressed somehow, 0.99

00:09:04.920 that the world is against them somehow.

00:09:07.060 Well, guess what?

00:09:07.980 Twitter and Facebook aren't banning you because you're a conservative. 1.00

00:09:10.760 They're banning you because you suck. 1.00

00:09:12.500 They're banning you because you say evil s**t. 1.00

00:09:14.740 They're banning you because you support a revolution 0.93

00:09:17.060 against the government of this country

00:09:18.980 and a free and fair election.

00:09:20.800 This is the most remarkable thing about this to me

00:09:23.200 is all these tough guy swagger monkeys

00:09:25.740 who act like they're the big, you know, alpha males. 0.97

00:09:28.660 They're whining and bitching and moaning 1.00

00:09:30.300 about Kathy Griffith holding up a mannequin head

00:09:34.080 or Nancy Pelosi tearing up a piece of paper. 0.97

00:09:36.900 Come on, guys, toughen up.

00:09:40.400 There's the pattern recognition.

00:09:42.440 First, Twitter said in response to press inquiries,

00:09:46.380 even some administrative action

00:09:48.900 with the Federal Elections Commission,

00:09:50.220 they weren't doing this.

00:09:51.260 They weren't shadow banning anyone.

00:09:52.580 And then they have these shills like Rick Wilson

00:09:56.440 go out there and say,

00:09:57.440 well, you know, it's a good thing for the Internet

00:09:59.480 that Matt Gaetz and Marjorie Taylor Greene get banned.

00:10:02.020 Well, you know what, Rick? 0.96

00:10:02.580 Who sucks now? 0.98

00:10:04.080 That take aged about as well as Rick Wilson has. 0.97

00:10:07.920 When we take Congress back in January,

00:10:10.300 there will be a lot of people that have answering to do.

00:10:13.420 And we can start with the former Twitter executives

00:10:16.380 that were responsible for this malfeasance.

00:10:18.320 Maybe we bring in Jack Dorsey

00:10:21.080 and ask him about his testimony

00:10:22.920 before the 116th Congress

00:10:24.740 that seems to be directly contradicted by the evidence.

00:10:28.180 Listen to what he had to say then.

00:10:31.440 I want to read a few quotes about Twitter's practices,

00:10:35.020 and I just want you to tell me if they're true or not.

00:10:38.480 Social media is being rigged to censor conservatives.

00:10:42.540 Is that true of Twitter?

00:10:44.120 No.

00:10:44.380 I don't know what Twitter is up to.

00:10:47.980 It sure looks like to me that they're censoring people,

00:10:50.680 and they ought to stop it.

00:10:52.380 Are you censoring people?

00:10:54.100 No.

00:10:55.300 Twitter shadow banning prominent Republicans.

00:10:58.780 It's bad.

00:11:00.500 Is that true?

00:11:01.500 No.

00:11:04.740 That was a lie.

00:11:07.060 And it makes you wonder,

00:11:08.320 what else have they been lying about?

00:11:09.840 Maybe we'll learn more from Elon's Twitter file drops

00:11:13.800 in the coming days and weeks,

00:11:15.620 but what's been done in the dark

00:11:17.640 is about to be brought to the light

00:11:19.660 by the next Republican Congress.

00:11:22.400 Our enemies are running and scared,

00:11:24.580 and we do have them on the ropes,

00:11:26.280 and we're not going to let up.

00:11:28.280 We just can't let Big Tech's errand boy

00:11:31.000 become the Speaker of the House.

00:11:34.500 Another subject I wanted to address today

00:11:36.660 was the activity in the House Armed Services Committee

00:11:39.520 around a resolution of inquiry

00:11:41.700 that would require the Department of Defense

00:11:44.020 to fess up about the woke ideology,

00:11:47.360 the crazy radical gender ideology 0.95

00:11:49.400 that they have been pushing on our military,

00:11:52.080 and I want to clue you in

00:11:53.240 on exactly how that debate went today.

00:11:56.360 Take a listen from just moments ago.

00:11:59.840 We are not meeting our recruiting goals

00:12:02.540 in the military.

00:12:03.980 Morale is down,

00:12:05.100 and every one of us knows it.

00:12:06.660 And we see it manifest

00:12:08.180 in really what I think

00:12:10.160 is one of the greatest honors we have,

00:12:11.700 and that is our Academy Service nominations.

00:12:14.200 I recall when I came to the Congress six years ago,

00:12:17.340 we got our pick of the litter,

00:12:19.060 the best of the best,

00:12:20.140 brightest of the brightest,

00:12:21.260 and every one of us

00:12:22.440 has seen the number of people

00:12:23.800 apply for Academy noms go down,

00:12:26.160 and we have seen an impact on quality

00:12:28.080 based on how people

00:12:29.240 are currently perceiving our military.

00:12:31.420 The woke ideology that Secretary Austin has advanced

00:12:36.640 has harmed our military,

00:12:38.260 and I take particular note of a report titled

00:12:41.980 Fighting the Culture War Within the U.S. Navy,

00:12:44.340 conducted by Senator Cotton,

00:12:46.240 Congressman Banks,

00:12:47.120 Congressman Crenshaw,

00:12:48.380 and Congressman Gallagher,

00:12:49.500 and that report serves as a roadmap

00:12:51.640 as to how to try to restore trust and confidence.

00:12:55.580 There was one lieutenant currently on active duty

00:12:58.100 who lamented,

00:12:59.080 quote,

00:12:59.460 sometimes I think we care more

00:13:01.100 about whether we have enough diversity officers

00:13:03.700 than if we'll survive a fight with the Chinese Navy.

00:13:06.940 She continued,

00:13:07.900 quote,

00:13:08.160 And this culture war that we see

00:13:19.420 with radical race ideology

00:13:21.120 and radical gender ideology

00:13:22.880 is intermingled,

00:13:24.520 and it permeates all aspects

00:13:26.120 of the Department of Defense

00:13:27.440 and has even bled into the VA.

00:13:29.500 In July of 2021,

00:13:30.920 VA Secretary McDonough announced

00:13:32.420 that his department would provide

00:13:34.140 gender reassignment surgeries,

00:13:36.040 and he described that as the path of progress.

00:13:40.000 Now, Secretary Austin assures us

00:13:41.760 that the DOD hasn't gone woke,

00:13:44.420 but on August 30th,

00:13:45.520 the Army's Diversity, Equity,

00:13:47.400 and Inclusion and Accessibility Office

00:13:49.480 hosted a gender inclusion workshop.

00:13:53.040 The workshop, quote,

00:13:54.160 The workshop will cover discussion training

00:13:56.460 on gender identity,

00:13:58.140 transgender,

00:13:59.200 and non-binary 101.

00:14:01.320 I shudder to think

00:14:02.240 what non-binary 102 would be.

00:14:04.660 The use of pronouns

00:14:05.780 and other best practices

00:14:07.140 and gender inclusivity, 0.91

00:14:10.380 close quote.

00:14:11.920 This radical gender policy 1.00

00:14:13.860 also was reflected

00:14:15.600 at the beginning of January in 2021

00:14:18.300 when the military's health insurance provider,

00:14:20.740 TRICARE,

00:14:21.660 began including hormone replacement therapy

00:14:24.180 as one of its covered services.

00:14:26.760 So it raises the question,

00:14:28.380 why is this resolution necessary?

00:14:30.520 And it's because

00:14:31.280 we don't get straight answers

00:14:33.180 when we ask them directly

00:14:35.020 of the Secretary of Defense

00:14:36.500 and top military leadership.

00:14:37.780 I remember asking the Secretary

00:14:39.900 about critical race theory,

00:14:41.940 and he barked at me

00:14:42.980 that there is no critical race theory

00:14:44.640 in the military.

00:14:45.700 And then Mr. Waltz

00:14:47.180 brought the receipts

00:14:48.240 and actually went through

00:14:49.540 the curriculum

00:14:50.200 with critical race theory text

00:14:52.300 that is being offered

00:14:53.560 throughout the pedagogy

00:14:54.920 of the United States military.

00:14:56.560 And then I think, too,

00:14:59.120 when the Secretary said directly,

00:15:00.880 there's no wokeness,

00:15:01.920 there's no woke generals,

00:15:03.140 there's no woke military,

00:15:04.520 and he took all offense

00:15:05.640 and got blustered.

00:15:06.840 And then I get this picture

00:15:09.440 from a service member

00:15:11.260 at the Davis Air Force Base

00:15:13.560 in Arizona

00:15:14.520 and at the very entrance

00:15:16.300 to the wing

00:15:17.460 where all of the airmen go in,

00:15:20.300 a guide about how to be woke.

00:15:22.940 And so when you get

00:15:25.380 just like the blatant evidence

00:15:27.860 that contradicts the statements

00:15:30.020 that these people make,

00:15:31.880 it necessitates this type of inquiry.

00:15:34.020 I want to respond

00:15:34.700 to the chairman's argument

00:15:36.160 that, well, the real problem,

00:15:38.420 the real reason

00:15:39.040 that we see wokeness

00:15:40.700 high on the list for people

00:15:42.280 as a deterrent to recruitment

00:15:45.240 and military service,

00:15:47.300 well, like, I'm sorry,

00:15:48.680 if we don't talk about it,

00:15:50.080 it still happens.

00:15:51.080 Like the notion that

00:15:52.040 if we just don't talk

00:15:53.400 about wokeness

00:15:54.320 and we don't criticize

00:15:55.420 radical gender ideology

00:15:56.980 that everything will be okay

00:15:58.400 and we'll meet our recruiting goals,

00:16:00.300 with all due respect,

00:16:01.920 that is a very boomer mentality.

00:16:04.100 This stuff gets shared

00:16:05.240 on social media.

00:16:06.480 This gets shared

00:16:07.320 in messaging applications.

00:16:10.080 The notion that our service members

00:16:11.480 don't talk to one another,

00:16:13.080 don't share their concerns,

00:16:14.760 and don't reflect on them

00:16:16.960 is a bit naive.

00:16:18.040 And so I don't think

00:16:19.080 that it is effective leadership

00:16:20.480 for us to put our head

00:16:21.880 in the sand and say,

00:16:22.800 well, whenever we see things

00:16:24.280 like the guide

00:16:25.740 to how to be woke,

00:16:27.020 whenever we see the curriculum

00:16:28.280 that Mr. Waltz

00:16:29.600 put before the committee,

00:16:31.020 whenever we see the report

00:16:32.300 that Mr. Gallagher,

00:16:33.360 Mr. Banks,

00:16:34.340 Mr. Crenshaw,

00:16:35.000 and Senator Cotton

00:16:35.620 put together showing

00:16:36.740 how this is impacting people,

00:16:38.380 we should not ignore

00:16:39.300 those things.

00:16:40.140 We should investigate them

00:16:41.420 and we should root them out.

00:16:42.840 And I have every confidence

00:16:44.480 under Chairman Rogers' leadership

00:16:46.060 and during the upcoming

00:16:47.300 Republican majority,

00:16:48.260 we will do just that.

00:16:49.860 We will dig into this wokeness, 1.00

00:16:52.080 we will get it out of our military,

00:16:53.720 and we will restore the confidence

00:16:55.280 in the greatest fighting force

00:16:56.880 the world has ever known.

00:16:58.000 I yield back.

00:16:58.720 Thank you.

00:16:59.640 I accept the generational insult there, 0.67

00:17:01.820 but I will say that

00:17:02.760 even us old folk, Matt,

00:17:04.780 know that things do get generated

00:17:06.380 and spread around.

00:17:07.520 My point is that

00:17:08.920 if you generate stuff

00:17:09.940 that is dishonest

00:17:10.860 for political purposes,

00:17:12.040 it gets spread around

00:17:12.900 and causes damage.

00:17:14.160 I have no doubt

00:17:14.920 that it's being spread around.

00:17:16.300 I do understand how...

00:17:17.260 I would just suggest

00:17:18.120 it was Secretary Austin...

00:17:18.540 It is my time, Mr. Gates.

00:17:20.480 You do not have time at the moment.

00:17:22.500 You do not have time.

00:17:23.320 It's not your time.

00:17:24.660 So, anyway.

00:17:25.920 I don't question the patriotism

00:17:27.340 of people who are in the military

00:17:30.320 of any gender.

00:17:32.740 I do question the intense focus

00:17:35.420 that the DOD places on it

00:17:37.840 when they're hosting pronoun trainings 0.79

00:17:41.320 rather than using that time well.

00:17:44.080 And so, like, for us to be...

00:17:45.900 There's a rich irony here.

00:17:47.800 For us to be criticized

00:17:48.940 for presenting this resolution of inquiry

00:17:51.300 and then as a waste of time

00:17:53.500 when the real people wasting the time

00:17:55.540 are the people at DOD

00:17:57.060 pushing radical gender ideology

00:17:59.440 onto service members.

00:18:00.460 And I would certainly agree

00:18:01.940 with the chairman

00:18:02.500 that dishonesty for political purposes

00:18:04.540 is something that none of us

00:18:06.240 should accept.

00:18:06.840 But the obvious dishonesty

00:18:09.340 came from the Secretary of Defense.

00:18:11.880 We were all here

00:18:13.000 when he said

00:18:13.780 there wasn't critical race theory

00:18:15.080 being taught

00:18:15.700 and then we were all here

00:18:16.920 when Mr. Waltz

00:18:17.840 pulled out the curriculum

00:18:18.880 and showed that it was.

00:18:20.220 We were all here

00:18:21.280 when he said

00:18:22.140 that they hadn't gone woke

00:18:24.020 and you've now seen

00:18:25.380 the evidence shared

00:18:26.420 with me

00:18:28.140 by a service member

00:18:29.680 where they're advertising

00:18:30.740 the effort to go woke.

00:18:31.920 So, I guess you have to

00:18:33.080 either believe

00:18:33.960 the Secretary of Defense

00:18:35.240 or your own lion eyes.

00:18:37.440 And so, that is the dishonesty

00:18:39.200 for political purposes

00:18:40.240 that we critique.

00:18:45.040 We will get the answers

00:18:46.680 to these questions.

00:18:48.000 We're back live.

00:18:49.000 In the next Congress,

00:18:50.540 the Military Personnel Subcommittee

00:18:52.500 will have specialized focus

00:18:54.540 on rooting out this wokeness 1.00

00:18:55.940 and I intend to serve

00:18:57.580 on the Military Personnel Subcommittee

00:18:59.480 to investigate that

00:19:01.000 and to really ripen the claims

00:19:03.360 of a lot of these whistleblowers

00:19:04.880 who are bringing forward

00:19:05.860 the evidence

00:19:06.560 that directly contradicts

00:19:07.980 what the Secretary of Defense said.

00:19:09.960 A lot of love

00:19:10.940 on the live stream

00:19:11.940 for our military.

00:19:14.060 A lot of disagreement

00:19:15.780 with the focus

00:19:16.980 on pronoun training.

00:19:18.840 I hear you slam dunk

00:19:20.200 for making that argument

00:19:21.780 and everyone's pointing out

00:19:23.720 that there are in fact

00:19:25.700 two genders

00:19:26.560 and if we just accepted that

00:19:28.380 and moved forward,

00:19:29.660 we would probably be able

00:19:30.520 to get to focus on the things

00:19:31.660 that the Department of Defense

00:19:32.920 should be focused on

00:19:34.140 not radical gender ideology.

00:19:36.800 Now, as you might expect,

00:19:38.420 House Democrats

00:19:39.260 voted against

00:19:40.640 that resolution

00:19:41.500 of inquiry

00:19:42.140 being reported favorably

00:19:43.640 to the House of Representatives.

00:19:45.640 We all

00:19:46.480 were seeking

00:19:47.620 to vote no

00:19:49.040 on that recommendation

00:19:50.040 for the chairman.

00:19:50.900 So the way it works is

00:19:51.900 the chairman of the committee

00:19:52.900 recommends against

00:19:54.140 the resolution

00:19:55.660 so we voted against

00:19:57.480 what Chairman Smith

00:19:58.920 was pushing for

00:19:59.960 but we didn't have

00:20:01.460 everyone's vote.

00:20:03.100 That's right.

00:20:03.880 Liz Cheney is still a member

00:20:05.240 of the Armed Services Committee

00:20:06.580 but Liz Cheney

00:20:07.680 didn't show up

00:20:08.380 to vote today.

00:20:09.120 I guess Liz Cheney

00:20:10.400 is too busy

00:20:11.100 defending democracy

00:20:12.360 to actually stand up

00:20:14.360 for the people

00:20:14.900 defending democracy

00:20:15.980 in our military.

00:20:17.740 The people who put

00:20:18.820 the uniform on

00:20:19.760 who deserve better

00:20:21.240 than a congresswoman

00:20:22.580 who would shirk

00:20:23.400 her duties

00:20:24.140 and responsibilities

00:20:25.160 to actually cast

00:20:26.780 a vote

00:20:27.600 on this resolution

00:20:28.680 of inquiry.

00:20:30.100 And so

00:20:30.440 every Democrat

00:20:31.580 other than I think one

00:20:33.600 was there to vote

00:20:34.700 and every Republican

00:20:36.060 except one

00:20:37.280 was there to vote

00:20:38.220 if you even still

00:20:38.960 consider Liz Cheney

00:20:39.980 a Republican.

00:20:41.180 So when the people

00:20:41.860 of Wyoming

00:20:42.600 actually needed

00:20:43.620 a congresswoman

00:20:44.460 focused on them

00:20:45.860 and their needs

00:20:47.240 this is what they got.

00:20:49.420 Play the clip.

00:20:51.860 Court of vote

00:20:52.620 has been requested.

00:20:54.080 The clerk

00:20:54.860 will call the roll.

00:20:57.840 Ms. Cheney

00:20:58.640 Ms. Cheney

00:21:03.600 Ms. Cheney

00:21:07.260 Ms. Cheney

00:21:11.240 There was silence

00:21:16.700 when they called

00:21:17.460 for the vote

00:21:18.020 of Congresswoman Cheney

00:21:19.080 in the House Armed Services

00:21:20.080 Committee Day

00:21:20.820 today

00:21:21.460 but the hypocrisy

00:21:23.420 rang quite aloud. 1.00

00:21:25.900 What a hypocrite 1.00

00:21:26.580 to act like 1.00

00:21:27.580 you're the great person

00:21:28.800 defending our

00:21:29.760 democratic institutions

00:21:30.900 and the institution

00:21:32.380 that has actually

00:21:33.600 endured

00:21:34.260 to protect Americans

00:21:36.040 to defend the republic.

00:21:38.280 Well that institution

00:21:39.140 was left

00:21:39.740 unrepresented

00:21:40.580 by Congresswoman Cheney

00:21:42.020 because she's too worried

00:21:42.980 about her next book deal

00:21:45.260 or her next TV appearance

00:21:47.060 or her next opportunity

00:21:48.300 to lie about

00:21:49.240 President Trump

00:21:50.000 and lie about

00:21:50.880 members of Congress

00:21:51.740 in the January 6th report

00:21:54.160 that will pretty much

00:21:55.640 be lies

00:21:56.320 from beginning to end.
