00:00:00.000 On the biggest stage in the world, FanDuel is changing the game
00:00:04.120 because sometimes your player gets subbed off and your bet goes with them.
00:00:07.520 Not anymore.
00:00:08.480 With FanDuel's Super Sub, if your player's subbed out, your bet stays in.
00:00:12.820 That's right.
00:00:13.380 If your player leaves the match, your bet continues on with the substitute,
00:00:17.560 so you're still in it until the final whistle.

00:01:00.080 Listen, all you New Yorkers.
00:01:02.380 You mean taxi?
00:01:04.000 Okay, then you want to look around?
00:01:05.300 This is the 77 WABC
00:01:08.360 minicast.
00:01:10.900 My good buddy Chris
00:01:11.820 from Lindenhurst. Chris, what's up,
00:01:14.060 man? Yo, man.
00:01:16.000 You know, I love how every
00:01:17.760 Sunday night I tune in, praying
00:01:19.960 for some kind of good news.
00:01:22.100 Some kind of uplifting.
00:01:23.840 story. But, you know, I was going to talk about the United Nations, but why bother with that?
00:01:29.580 You brought up Kathy Hochul in this godforsaken state that I'm stuck in, living in.
00:01:36.860 You know, the reason I can't leave this state, and I'm sure that there are other people
00:01:42.680 who are kind of in the same boat. I have family here. It's all I've ever known. I have kids here.
00:01:48.840 But the biggest thing is my job is here, and I've been looking for a job other places, Pennsylvania, the Carolinas, for three years at least.
00:01:57.040 Haven't been able to find anything.
00:01:58.880 And the money I make here on the island, I live on Long Island, is good.
00:02:02.720 But the problem is that my kids and a lot of kids their age cannot afford to start a life here on Long Island or anywhere in New York.
00:02:14.000 No, of course not.
00:02:14.760 So I think it would be better because a lot of people I know, Chris, a lot of people say, well, my kids.
00:02:21.120 And I think that's just another way to not have to make that commitment to leaving.
00:02:28.240 But you're doing them a favor.
00:02:30.520 My sister, before I even moved down here, my sister moved just outside of Myrtle because she was disgusted with the way her son was being treated in school during COVID.
00:02:42.140 And then she's like, moving down to South Carolina, I'm going to look into it.
00:02:47.120 She looked and said, the schools are open down there?
00:02:50.420 Like, they're actually going to school, looking each other in the full face, not half a face with a mask on it,
00:02:57.620 and said, of course, this is better for my kid.
00:03:01.400 I don't know many people that can look at New York now and think, well, it's still better for my kids than leaving.
00:03:09.900 No.
00:03:10.100 I don't see it, Chris.
00:03:11.180 No, it's not. And like you mentioned before, if Zeldin got in, he wasn't going to change much in this state.
00:03:17.960 The fact is that the real estate market in this state is completely out of control for anybody.
00:03:23.600 You know, the average home prices are, you know, six, seven hundred thousand dollars.
00:03:27.860 And for what? So you can live amongst MS-13 and the Latin kings? 1.00
00:03:33.400 And there's not one area of Long Island, New York, anymore, honestly, that doesn't have an area. 1.00
00:03:41.880 Like, you go, oh, yeah, no, this is great, Dix Hills.
00:03:44.820 I live in Dix Hills.
00:03:45.840 It's wonderful.
00:03:46.340 And then you go, yeah, but don't go to Wine Dance, which is right over there across the tracks or something.
00:03:52.020 Like, there's always a place.
00:03:54.580 There's not one area that's just, oh, this is awesome.
00:03:57.540 It's a great place, and you could run for miles and never see a bad place.
00:04:02.680 so what's the attraction anymore to staying it's not you know 30 years ago when when my parents
00:04:10.120 moved from living in queens moved to long island long island was suburbia you know they tell me
00:04:16.080 all the time oh you know we got the house it was you know it was a hundred thousand dollars and
00:04:20.160 everything was was all new and it was all nice and quiet the robert moses parkways kept them out of
00:04:25.520 the beaches i know chris but you know my my kids are never going to be able to start a life here
00:04:33.860 on their own they can't afford it and i know a lot of people who are in the same situation as me
00:04:39.580 their kids are the same way you know they're going to be living at home until they're 50 years old
00:04:43.440 yeah because you just can't do it that's why i have to get out of this state they have forced me
00:04:48.240 to to leave and again it's all i've ever known i you know everything you kind of want is here
00:04:55.100 and you've got the beaches, you've got the winter, you've got the city,
00:04:57.200 you've got the sports teams, fine.
00:04:58.560 But I've had to throw all that away now and really put my family in front and say,
00:05:03.060 this is what's going to be best for my family going forward.
00:05:06.680 I have to.
00:05:08.300 Chris, there's that great old saying, no matter where you go, there you are.
00:05:13.600 It's always you're still you.
00:05:16.800 It's still your family.
00:05:18.420 There are wonderful things.
00:05:19.860 New York isn't this amazing place that has things that nowhere else has.
00:05:27.160 And, you know, it would be better.
00:05:29.020 And every single person I know that's left New York says, why the hell did I wait this long to do this?
00:05:36.720 Yeah.
00:05:37.120 All right, Chris.
00:05:37.700 I got to move on, Chris.
00:05:39.460 But I remember the new expression of the night.
00:05:42.200 Mega, please.
00:05:43.600 Oh, Mig.
00:05:44.560 The M. 0.99
00:05:45.840 Yes, the M.
00:05:46.960 I was getting scared there a second.
00:05:48.400 All right, Chris.
00:05:49.280 There it goes.
00:05:49.860 it was an m i swear the make iran great again that south carolina's own lindsey graham loves
00:06:01.380 the saying it's so annoying so i saw a couple of uh a couple of stories that that uh looked like
00:06:11.600 it could have been some iranian uh uh sleeper cells because now that's what we're hearing
00:06:19.160 which i think is ridiculous uh i i think there are people that want to do harm to americans and 0.76
00:06:26.840 perhaps there are state-sponsored terrorists in this country who would know joe biden lets so
00:06:34.000 many people in over the border unvetted that that could absolutely have happened but the idea that
00:06:41.080 there's iranians sitting around just with a phone next to him waiting going well at this time now
00:06:49.360 you go do this it's kind of silly to me a sleeper cell so what are they working they they're on the
00:06:58.140 snap welfare program do they do they have friends if you're a sleeper cell the idea of a sleeper
00:07:05.620 cell because you hear that in movies because realistically aside from 9-11 and i've heard
00:07:12.180 so many people say well that's even debatable a sleeper cell is someone that just fits in
00:07:18.580 they live their life as a a person in whatever country uh they're in and uh and then when when
00:07:30.080 the time comes they they jump to action so i i don't know but i don't think it's real
00:07:37.380 they just sit around you know he's got neighbors he goes over to cookouts and hangs out at a local
00:07:45.880 pub i and then when the word comes in he just turns the all that off and and goes on a shooting
00:07:53.340 spree but we're being told that sleeper cells could perhaps um you know come our way
00:08:00.000 so i i hope that doesn't happen but um what i want to say about that is you got to take care
00:08:08.900 of yourselves you got to take care of yourselves we saw today i think it was a church down in
00:08:16.620 wane michigan we're up in wane michigan i guess it depends on where you are anthony
00:08:21.340 person drove a truck a pickup truck through the the front of the building the church
00:08:29.120 and opened fire on the parishioners there.
00:08:35.500 Thank God.
00:08:37.860 God.
00:08:38.820 There was a security guard there that was armed and dispatched the villain,
00:08:46.380 made quick work of him, and killed him.
00:08:49.320 One person was injured. 0.92
00:08:50.640 I believe it was a shot in the leg.
00:08:52.980 You're to blame.
00:08:54.640 uh but the good part is no one was killed in the church the bad guy was killed because
00:09:03.240 there was a person there that was armed whose responsibility it was to look out for the people
00:09:13.440 in that establishment that works that protection works taking people's ability to defend themselves
00:09:25.880 away doesn't work having no gun zones doesn't work bad guys will go into no gun zones knowing
00:09:37.260 that they could probably do whatever they want without somebody shooting back at them
00:09:43.440 So when we're looking at a situation like this where the United States, again, is struck at a foreign nation that is known for terrorist events and their sponsorship of terrorism, we have to take care of ourselves.
