00:00:04.120 because sometimes your player gets subbed off and your bet goes with them.

00:00:08.480 With FanDuel's Super Sub, if your player's subbed out, your bet stays in.
00:00:12.820 That's right.
00:00:13.380 If your player leaves the match, your bet continues on with the substitute,
00:00:17.560 so you're still in it until the final whistle.

00:00:59.980 It's the Anthony Cumia Show
00:01:01.820 on the Red Apple Podcast
00:01:04.180 Network.
00:01:06.020 Oh, yeah.
00:01:08.300 Another Sunday. Look how
00:01:09.880 quickly that week flies on
00:01:11.980 by, doesn't it?
00:01:13.400 Doesn't it go by so fast?
00:01:16.520 Maybe not for some
00:01:17.840 people. For me, it seems to
00:01:19.860 go by pretty quickly.
00:01:21.700 uh sunday easter sunday for those of you uh practicing i went to church today i don't
00:01:32.540 normally go to church but um you know sometimes your girl might say hey you know let's go to
00:01:40.220 church and you gotta be a real piece of garbage no i'm playing call of duty you gotta be a real
00:01:50.340 piece of garbage on easter sunday if your girl asks you to join her uh at church because she
00:01:57.140 goes all the time uh so you know who what what guy wants to try to die on that hill no and i mean it
00:02:06.520 it's it's really not even negotiable you're going to church and i don't mind it it's not like one
00:02:14.420 of those things where i'm like oh god i gotta go to church oh god i gotta go to church uh
00:02:19.840 And it's just from when I was a kid, I find it boring and I'm sorry about that.
00:02:28.800 I feel bad for it.
00:02:29.720 I feel guilty.
00:02:30.420 I'm a guilty Catholic, I guess.
00:02:32.660 But I just feel kind of like I'm sitting there.
00:02:37.060 I want to get into it.
00:02:38.860 I want to listen to what's being said.
00:02:40.840 And I do.
00:02:41.360 I don't go yapping.
00:02:42.640 I'm not yapping through it.
00:02:44.720 But and it's not a language I can't understand, like Latin or something.
00:02:49.280 or it's not like when I was a kid
00:02:50.940 and just wanted to get out there
00:02:52.840 and play with my Tonka toys.
00:02:56.520 But I'm just, I hear the words, I'm listening,
00:02:59.800 and I feel like I'm just biding my time
00:03:02.360 till I can leave.
00:03:05.900 But I do feel like I understand it
00:03:08.140 and I understand how the people,
00:03:10.640 you know, the priests
00:03:11.700 and all of the staff that they have there,
00:03:14.540 the little kids lighting the candles and everything,
00:03:17.260 that i understand how they uh they're really you know into it understand it but i'm just like ah
00:03:25.720 i'd like to i guess i'd like to be more spiritual but it's just one of those things where i'm like
00:03:33.200 oh boy and then the worst thing and this i i don't even know how do you go about apologizing
00:03:40.120 for this do you go to confession for for something like i'm i'm gonna tell you and and i've i've
00:03:47.220 heard from other people that uh they have the same kind of thoughts in church and i don't know what
00:03:53.680 this is all about but it's it's uh real as rain you just get these terrible terrible evil thoughts
00:04:03.280 and i'm not a bad person don't ask anyone they'll probably tell you different but i'm not like a
00:04:11.980 terrible person i don't do that many terrible things but when i'm sitting in church i can't
00:04:18.480 help like i said before i'm a little bored so i can't help but look around and if there's an
00:04:24.560 attractive girl sitting i kind of look and and and guys uh can i get some help here gentlemen
00:04:35.180 guys you know we look and you could just go wow that's a pretty girl very pretty dress very nice
00:04:43.080 it's easter it's a little yellow or pink easter dress or something and that would be fine i'm sure
00:04:52.120 you know everyone involved in jesus and everyone would be fine with that i'm admiring the
00:04:59.300 handiwork of of god himself but then i start looking like at their their ankles and thighs
00:05:08.380 and calves and i start thinking things and i just feel terrible about it but it's always been that
00:05:16.760 way in church i look around too much i don't uh i don't pay a lot of attention and my mind starts
00:05:24.100 going off on terrible things like that i'm lusting in church i'm i'm lusting for god's sake not for
00:05:32.120 god's sake damn no not damn damn me ah it's um i think it's just because i'm not really
00:05:40.100 captivated by the whole thing i get it i understand it i want to be i want to be a
00:05:46.680 little more spiritual maybe i i don't know i just don't know but truth be told i've talked to a lot
00:05:54.100 of people they just have these weird like evil terrible devilish thoughts when they're sitting
00:06:00.720 uh in in church so um i did it though i went it was nice it was very nice
00:06:07.440 and calming when i wasn't lusting and uh the people seem nice it's uh i don't know if a lot
00:06:17.560 of people know but i'm down here in south carolina and uh oh my god this place i was in new york last
00:06:23.680 week had a great time hanging out with all the guys from the station up there and jimmy norton
00:06:29.840 was on last week just an amazing comic and great friend of mine and uh all that's great but
00:06:36.860 walking around in new york city in 2025 nah ain't for me you know here in south carolina after
00:06:47.200 church uh we went to uh get some brunch people are dressed all nice it's like tip of the hat
00:06:55.740 it's beautiful southern charm a little of that southern charm but um it was awesome
00:07:04.840 had a had a great time i was very um i was very happy great weather too just one of those things
00:07:11.260 a good a good easter sunday the other thing today unfortunately and i had just talked about it right
00:07:19.720 before i came on here um just now is 420 it's 420 so i talked about the whole weed thing and
00:07:28.220 I just find that kind of ridiculous.
00:07:30.560 If you're 12, 13, I guess it's 420.
00:07:34.720 But anyone older than that that celebrates, you know, 420 by smoking weed,
00:07:41.220 eh, it's a little childish.
00:07:44.260 And then there's the other one that we want to bring up.
00:07:47.180 Oof, 420, the birthday of a notorious character in history.
00:07:56.480 you may have heard of him so all those things coming together today kind of made this big
00:08:03.060 kerfuffle uh but i'm sticking to easter easter sunday the the one-way ticket to the resurrection
00:08:12.920 um yeah scarface always uh that was a great movie but yeah that was just kind of um
00:08:20.300 kind of weird maybe we'll take a call right right here right on the spot here casey
00:08:26.480 from uh detroit casey what's up how you doing how are you doing how you doing man hey you know what
00:08:34.600 i gotta go to confession after i leave church yeah when these girls go up to communion oh no yeah
00:08:44.040 i'm mentally raping them oh geez no you know they're coming up hot and shit well you gotta
00:08:53.100 You've got to watch your language, sir.
00:08:54.480 You must watch your language.
00:08:55.860 This is amplitude modulation radio, and it's guided by the Federal Communications Commission.
00:09:03.900 So Fs and Ss and things like that, we've got to make sure that doesn't happen.
00:09:09.260 And you don't have to be that graphic.
00:09:11.740 I understand.
00:09:12.620 Some of the girls are very pretty in church.
00:09:14.340 They come up, and you're lusting.
00:09:16.460 And lust is a sin, if I'm not wrong here.
00:09:20.360 yeah casey all right yeah no no i'm fan yourself i'm sorry about saying that but you know yeah i
00:09:31.400 look at them coming up and going back and then i go to confession on monday because yeah they're hot
00:09:40.740 yeah i know you know i hear you casey well you know i don't think it's wrong we're built you
00:09:47.020 know god made us so how can we you know what but but i never got him in a pew yeah oh well
00:09:53.700 good for you okay thank you casey great easter call we get from casey he's dropping s bombs he's
00:09:59.960 talking about uh uh some real horrible thing i'm just talking about visually lusting uh in church
00:10:08.300 which i know is not a good thing it's you know it's something i i believe you would have to
00:10:13.880 confess but then you go to the church to confess and you're seeing you're seeing more so it's a
00:10:20.540 one of those cycles that you just can't uh can't get out of um boink let's go to andy andy and
00:10:28.360 yonkers a little bit about us just talking about pot the young people and their marijuana andy
00:10:35.300 yonkers what's up my friend oh what's up there's good sizzle chest what's happening man
00:10:43.080 you're on the air sir okay i'm here all right give us a talk it's me it's anthony we're talking
00:10:52.220 you want to talk about kids and the weed let her rip yeah anthony you are unbelievable i
00:10:57.580 apologize for the last 25 years uh i apologize for that no i appreciate no it helped us get
00:11:04.640 through work you know we used to fight over who we're going to listen to you always want out
00:11:09.280 The thing is, the thing is, the battle cry, the rallying cry of the potheads was legalize pot and you'd be able to pay off the national debt.
00:11:20.140 Do you realize how big that joint would have to be?
00:11:22.840 That joint would have to be bigger than the universe to pay off the national debt.
00:11:27.740 Andy, you bring up a great point.
00:11:29.580 That was always something.
00:11:30.780 Man, if they could just sell weed and tax it, there'd be no debt.
00:11:35.320 We'd all be driving around at Cadillacs and swimming in our pools.
00:11:39.460 And what happened?
00:11:40.580 They legalized it.
00:11:41.440 They're selling it.
00:11:42.100 And we're in more debt than ever.
00:11:43.820 It's all such crap.
00:11:47.380 Yeah, it's total BS.
00:11:49.780 But it sounds good on the radio.
00:11:51.760 The guy sounds like he's clever.
00:11:53.140 He's coming up with some great idea or something.
00:11:55.420 I mean, I'd put him in charge of the Fed, a pothead.
00:11:58.880 You never know.
00:11:59.460 There's so many guys in charge of these big corporations now.
00:12:02.100 basically 20, 30 years ago
00:12:04.240 were the biggest potheads on the planet.
00:12:06.220 That's true, man. Now they're running corporate America.
00:12:08.800 But I just wondered one thing,
00:12:10.180 because you're a guy with free speech
00:12:12.040 and everything. I wonder,
00:12:14.400 people love to always
00:12:16.000 say the name Pelosi and Fauci.
00:12:18.360 I consider these people to be
00:12:20.160 useful idiots because
00:12:21.920 they're protecting the Chinese communists
00:12:24.420 who sent the virus here, killed
00:12:26.240 a million Americans.
00:12:28.080 I mean, I know the reason why they like using
00:12:30.260 their names but the joke is on them they lost their country they lost america you ain't getting
00:12:35.560 it back you're gonna you're gonna get a million illegals out of it they emptied out their jails
00:12:38.900 and sent them here under biden they don't say nothing about biden he flew them in here yep
00:12:43.660 and you try to send one back and they jump on you like uh you're you're uh uh hitler if i may say
00:12:50.600 it's crazy andy it's it's goddamn crazy man but uh thanks for calling i appreciate it uh we're
00:12:56.740 going to take a quick break, and then we'll return. Don't worry. Nick DiPaolo will be on
00:13:03.120 in no time. Stick around. Anthony Cumia Show. It's the Anthony Cumia Show on the Red Apple
00:13:10.140 Podcast Network. It's the Anthony Cumia Show. Entertaining and informative on the Red Apple
00:13:19.940 podcast network yeah the anthony cumia show i just told you that's who uh i am that's who
00:13:28.540 you're listening to and welcome welcome back uh we were just talking about this whole
00:13:33.920 el salvadorian thing chris uh van holland the maryland senator went down to el salvador and
00:13:44.540 And at first, I guess they wouldn't let him see what's his name.
00:13:49.420 It's it's he's got like a real cool sounding name when AOC says it, AOC says it like.
00:13:57.160 In the vernacular and the way you're supposed to say it anyway.
00:14:02.180 But he goes down there and that's who it is.
00:14:05.380 Kilmar Abrego Garcia.
00:14:07.980 I am Kilmar Abrego Garcia.
00:14:11.840 And this guy's a violent criminal.
00:14:14.540 gang member uh he was here illegally these these are facts and uh all of a sudden all the democrats
00:14:25.980 he's the greatest guy in the world to all these democrats they want him back oh my god they need
00:14:32.980 him back in this country we've had so many instances of illegal aliens um perpetrating
00:14:39.580 some pretty horrible crimes against american citizens but uh just like the dems oh my god
00:14:47.620 what happened trump sent him well we got to bring him back if trump deported him he must be a great
00:14:53.940 guy they are insane and want nothing but what's absolutely worse for this country the worst thing
00:15:02.000 possible for america that's what they seem to want and they prove it on a daily basis so we got this
00:15:09.280 Senator Chris Van
00:15:11.000 Holland which I just hate the name
00:15:13.340 how could you not look at it
00:15:15.400 try to say it and think Van Halen
00:15:16.920 it's Van Halen all the time every time I see
00:15:19.420 his dumb name so he goes down
00:15:21.500 there and
00:15:22.140 he finally gets a meeting with the guy they shake
00:15:25.400 hands at the jail
00:15:26.360 they go out
00:15:28.760 for some beverages I guess
00:15:31.060 there's margaritas
00:15:33.120 on the table and then this whole
00:15:35.480 margarita thing becomes very
00:15:37.120 conspiratorial
00:15:39.280 Oh, what is this?
00:15:40.540 He doesn't look like he was tortured or beat up.
00:15:44.480 He's sitting with the senator without a scratch on him.
00:15:48.880 They got icy cold margaritas in front of him.
00:15:53.720 So what's the problem?
00:15:55.880 Why are they making it sound like this guy is being tortured on a daily basis?
00:16:02.320 Well, Chris Van Hollen went on the news and talked about what is being known now as Margaritagate, I guess.
00:16:11.260 Let's listen to a little of Chris talk about his meeting with Gilmar Abrego Garcia.
00:16:18.920 Now I just want to take a moment.
00:16:20.600 I hadn't planned to do this, but as I was landing on the airplane, I got a transcript of some questions President Trump was asked at the White House.
00:16:31.420 today about what I would call Margaritagate. I don't know if you guys have been following
00:16:38.320 this, but President Bukele, you know, after I met with Kilmar, did this tweet showing
00:16:46.480 us at a table with these two glasses. So here's what happened. When I first sat down
00:16:55.240 with Kilmar, we just had glasses of water on the table. I think maybe some coffee.
00:17:01.420 And as we were talking, one of the government people came over and deposited two other glasses on the table with ice and I don't know if it was salt or sugar around the top, but they look like margaritas.
00:17:19.260 And if you look at the one they put in front of Kilmar, it actually had a little less liquid than the one in front of me to try to make it look, I assume, like he drank out of it.
00:17:31.420 Let me just be very clear. Neither of us touched the drinks that were in front of us.
00:17:38.240 And if you want to play a little Sherlock Holmes, I'll tell you how you can know that.
00:17:42.180 So if you look at the video or the picture I sent out from the beginning of our meeting, you'll see there are no glasses on the table.
00:17:50.240 So you'll see in later videos they are on the table.
00:17:54.380 But they made a little mistake for some people who are very careful, right?
00:17:57.740 If you sip out of one of those glasses, some of whatever it was, salt or sugar, would disappear.
00:18:04.480 You would see a gap.
00:18:05.600 All right.
00:18:06.080 Enough from him.
00:18:07.840 There's no gap.
00:18:09.300 That's for sure.
00:18:11.960 How about a straw?
00:18:14.820 Was it the straw you used for Coke?
00:18:18.380 Teasing, of course.
00:18:20.300 Yeah.
00:18:20.860 Now, what? See, he seems to be missing the point that he's whether they drank it or not, they're sitting there at a beautiful restaurant wherever they were in beautiful weather with margaritas in front of them.
00:18:37.220 This doesn't sound or look like someone that's been tortured over the course of time since he was deported.
00:18:45.460 um he wasn't denied any rights here he's an illegal alien i i i believe or at least i believed
00:18:56.560 that the president of the united states has some say over getting illegal aliens out of this
00:19:03.940 country joe biden sure as hell had say in bringing him in without any qualms no one uh
00:19:12.700 tried to stop him legally every time they tried it was denied so bringing him here is fine
00:19:22.040 but then when you try to get rid of them and get him back to their country and maybe have to serve
00:19:31.400 time i don't know he seems to be a criminal they don't seem to like him down in el salvador either
00:19:38.060 so i think it was uh completely fine millions of illegals came into this country and they're
00:19:48.300 blowing head gaskets over one guy i'm disgusted but par for the course stick around mr nick
00:19:57.460 de paulo will be coming up in mere seconds if you count them we'll be right back with

00:21:27.320 could mr nick de paulo nick how are you my friend uh very good anthony very good uh first of all i
00:21:34.680 want to give a shout out to wabc radio for having the gonads the testicles the
00:21:40.120 fortitude uh to put anthony cumia on the air where he belongs
00:21:44.740 somebody over there has good taste and like i said huge brass ones isn't that it's insane yeah
00:21:52.260 After everything that's happened, it's like, all right, I'll come back to the broadcast airwaves.
00:21:58.420 I like the idea of the FCC breathing down my neck.
00:22:02.020 It wasn't enough to have every podcaster and woke jack off or anything else trying to get me fired or killed.
00:22:11.960 Yeah, let me get the government back on me again like it was back in the early 2000s.
00:22:16.860 You got to hand it to whoever that – I've never – maybe I know the guy,
00:22:20.520 because I did do a stint with W.A.B.C.
00:22:22.880 I think I did.
00:22:23.920 I don't know.
00:22:24.840 I'm like you.
00:22:25.680 I've been fired and whatever.
00:22:27.260 But I would like to know the guy that pulled the trigger on the show.
00:22:30.300 And I say he should, you know, run for a governor in New York,
00:22:34.240 replace that sloppy bitch.
00:22:36.440 Oh, my God.
00:22:37.820 Governor, mayor, anyone in New York, senators, congresspeople.
00:22:43.720 It's, you know, Nick, you abandoned New York just like I did.
00:22:48.600 Yeah.
00:22:48.880 And we had friends and family up there, and it's tough to just move
00:22:53.880 because you get used to where you are.
00:22:56.180 You kind of fall into a habit.
00:22:58.160 It got so bad that we left, and it has to be because so many people there
00:23:06.100 keep voting for the same imbeciles, and they'll get rid of one and think,
00:23:12.800 well, now it's going to get better, and vote in virtually the same person.
00:23:17.100 And we've seen this happen so many times with Mayor Adams, Governor Cuomo, and then you've got Hochul.
00:23:27.160 And the collects Chuck Schumer, the whole collection of them just seem to be dedicated to screwing that state up.
00:23:37.080 Well, I have a theory about that.
00:23:39.260 And not just New York, a lot of big blue cities that are going in the toilet.
00:23:44.460 Big blue cities.
00:23:46.040 They needed the money.
00:23:49.480 Oh, that would be great.
00:23:54.240 Dice talking about the farm bill on the Senate floor.
00:23:58.840 Why aren't you paying these farmers?
00:24:01.760 They're out there picking corn or something.
00:24:04.780 Give them some money.
00:24:06.780 Oh, yeah.
00:24:11.100 Like the attorney generals.
00:24:13.780 I know some in some some states, the attorney generals are elected, some they're appointed.
00:24:20.260 But my point is, even like New York City, I really believe those people aren't voted in.
00:24:25.640 I believe, look, if they could fix the presidential election, which they did, by the way, in 2020, I really believe it's rigged in New York.
00:24:34.940 And because even New Yorkers, as liberal as they are, they they're not that stupid.
00:24:41.200 I mean, I hope I'm right that they would vote in the same liberal scum that every eight years destroyed this city.
00:24:50.300 I really believe it has to be rigged from the inside.
00:24:54.360 Either that or it's really sad that New York is more credit.
00:24:59.480 I don't think that's stupid.
00:25:01.140 But like Chicago, yeah, let's replace.
00:25:03.920 We're going to get rid of Lori Lightfoot and replace her at somebody 40 feet to the left of her.
00:25:11.200 What the F?
00:25:12.600 Every time you just see these cities like, yeah, of course, New York, Chicago, Atlanta,
00:25:21.140 then smaller ones like Baltimore.
00:25:24.440 Oh, what about Oakland?
00:25:26.380 Oakland just elected a new mayor, Oakland, because the last mayor was corrupt, stealing
00:25:34.240 money, all kinds.
00:25:35.760 And Oakland's just been a disaster.
00:25:38.040 People are leaving.
00:25:39.040 Businesses are leaving in droves.
00:25:40.380 you can't find one open fast food restaurant they boarded these things up and left like
00:25:46.080 martians were attacking they would not stick and then they just elected this woman that
00:25:51.940 like you said a mile to the left of the last guy that was in there nothing will get done
00:25:58.340 and new york had a chance you know anybody but a democrat like adams adams by the way now
00:26:06.500 is just playing off of the fact that Trump and his Justice Department
00:26:11.220 got along the hook.
00:26:12.380 So he's got to be a good boy.
00:26:14.100 But Hochul, like you could have had Zeldin, Lee Zeldin,
00:26:20.880 and they just vote in this woman that she's terrible for the state.
00:26:27.160 She didn't even get voted in.
00:26:28.960 No, no.
00:26:30.500 Nobody voted for her.
00:26:32.040 She got dragged into this.
00:26:33.320 Where were they hiding that wildebeest?
00:26:36.500 You know what I mean?
00:26:37.700 Did you ever hear her before she became a judge?
00:26:41.180 I don't know where they find these people.
00:26:43.980 No one hears of the lieutenant governor.
00:26:47.080 They don't know who it is.
00:26:48.100 And then Cuomo tries to say, hey, I'm Italian,
00:26:51.760 so I'll molest people at weddings.
00:26:53.920 He thought that one would work.
00:26:55.880 They throw him out.
00:26:57.480 He pretty much offed 1,000 elderly in old folks' homes during COVID.
00:27:04.360 Oh, my God.
00:27:05.000 And now he wants to run for mayor of New York.
00:27:08.720 But, yeah, Hochul gets in there.
00:27:10.920 And then when she went through Cuomo's term, they gave us a chance in New York.
00:27:17.700 You want Lee Zeldin?
00:27:19.020 Here's a Republican.
00:27:20.160 It's something different.
00:27:21.360 Maybe.
00:27:22.180 Try it.
00:27:23.200 Boom.
00:27:23.760 They just go for the Democrat every time.
00:27:26.760 And we're screwed.
00:27:28.740 And it got me to leave.
00:27:30.740 I picked up and left.
00:27:32.940 Yeah, well, I always dreamed of heading south, and my politics always fit down here.
00:27:40.600 I mean, I was being called a redneck in seventh grade, for crying out loud, before I even knew what it was.
00:27:46.000 In New York, yeah.
00:27:47.060 I didn't even know what a liberal was when I was 14, but I knew one when I met one.
00:27:52.380 It was like pornography.
00:27:53.420 I know it when I see it.
00:27:54.740 You knew what it was.
00:27:55.700 It just didn't have a name yet.
00:27:57.040 it was just you know so yeah uh they're just watching them try to destroy the country well
00:28:06.040 you get someone like trump in there look he's not perfect i think we could all agree on that one
00:28:11.000 believe me believe me exactly but but he's he seems to be trying to do what's best for the
00:28:18.600 country not a little group here or this person or this soundbite and all they're doing is trying to
00:28:25.920 put the brakes on him and not let him do anything to the point where you're looking like i was
00:28:29.980 saying how how do you look and go can we get rid of the illegals that have been pouring into this
00:28:35.740 country for years now and then he tries to do it and he's the bad guy and and the illegals are the
00:28:42.000 heroes right so that's right so what does that tell you you made a great point uh trump america
00:28:50.740 wants what trump wants and vice versa uh but it upsets the left to no end so what does that tell
00:28:57.440 you they don't like this country they hate it and by trump showing up on the scene he has really
00:29:04.200 shined the light and it transcends politics now it's not about left right liberal conservative
00:29:09.460 it's about you know sane versus insane um they are hard it's not hyperbole to call them
00:29:17.740 marxists they're hardcore marxists and no wonder why they don't want agree to anything any
00:29:24.960 republican said it used to be i remember like when uh even when the tippon deal was in office
00:29:31.140 and reagan and reagan they they would you know they would even back then it was push and shove
00:29:38.000 um but i've never seen anything i mean and trump was right he could he could literally save a baby
00:29:45.960 on a subway platform and they would they would say you know he touched her illegally it's creepy
00:29:51.940 it's creepy that van holland jerk off yeah go ahead go down el salvador who cares if that guy
00:29:59.620 who cares if he's a gang member or not yeah he was here illegally and we know he beat his wife
00:30:06.560 those two things enough right isn't that enough but no he's the hero donald trump's an awful
00:30:14.300 person it's it's they are really insane too the politicians i have to believe they know what
00:30:21.800 they're doing they're just trying to get their team to win the democrats have only had one playbook
00:30:27.020 for years now right they're playing the same play over and over again it's obviously not working
00:30:32.340 but i can't believe they are as insane as their constituents are well i always you know people
00:30:40.200 always talked about good and evil and i didn't i thought that was a little hyperbolic as far as
00:30:44.800 politics go not anymore this is the first time i really go oh there really is i mean when you
00:30:51.900 are defending doctors who have mutilated kids yeah and getting in between parents and their kids
00:30:58.060 and encouraging people who came over here illegally that rape and do all this stuff
00:31:03.640 that you're looking out for them instead of the victims i mean that really is i'm going wait a
00:31:09.560 that maybe there really is evil.
00:31:12.760 And I don't think that's, like, I'm not exaggerating to say that.
00:31:16.180 I don't, they're really dark.
00:31:18.420 They're like a death cult as far as abortion and all that other crap.
00:31:22.320 I'm not like a far righty, but when I talk about these a-holes,
00:31:26.160 you know, I sound like Billy Graham or whoever.
00:31:30.100 I can't even name one.
00:31:32.320 Or whoever.
00:31:33.800 But, of course, it's not Billy Graham.
00:31:35.300 It's the great Nick DiPaolo.
00:31:36.900 So, Nick, the great Nick DiPaolo, comedian extraordinaire, on with us.
00:31:44.300 And are you playing?
00:31:46.240 I'd like to, you know, give you a little opportunity to plug a gig.
00:31:49.840 Absolutely.
00:31:50.620 This Friday night, I'm sort of in, well, I was going to say your neck of the woods.
00:31:55.360 What am I saying?
00:31:56.120 You're down here, right?
00:31:57.100 I'm down here now.
00:31:57.980 We're all moving down here, Nick.
00:31:59.620 Well, I'll be in this Friday night coming.
00:32:02.660 I'll be at Coho's musical, Coho's New York.
00:32:06.520 that's april 25th and then may 15 and 16 at zany's in rosemont illinois which is a beautiful i hate
00:32:14.400 saying the name zany because the club is really beautiful i know the name is terrible 63 years
00:32:19.440 old it's got a microphone with a top hat on it i was just gonna ask you about that man because
00:32:27.560 look i've known you for many years all the you know of all the comics that used to come into
00:32:33.480 the on a show you know you're just a pisser man and i i just how it are you still enjoying your
00:32:41.860 time out on the road um oh tremendously
00:32:45.860 i'm like uh you know they should put me on the news and i i get on the plane i have the ugly i
00:32:59.120 I get to the – first of all, it's beautiful down here because the airport is 19 minutes from me.
00:33:04.580 Oh, yes.
00:33:05.220 I get there in a straight shot.
00:33:07.140 Anthony, true story.
00:33:08.000 Last time I flew out of Savannah, I parked the car like in a lot that's kind of a little far away, and it's the same place.
00:33:15.680 And I walked.
00:33:16.780 I walked through like two parking garages, through the lobby, up the escalator, TSA, all the way to my gate.
00:33:24.280 Listen to this.
00:33:24.940 With nobody in front of me.
00:33:27.340 It's fantastic, right?
00:33:28.800 It's like the 70s.
00:33:31.360 It's like the 70s.
00:33:32.620 They put you on a 707 with a carving station wheeled in front of your seat.
00:33:39.700 It really is.
00:33:41.920 I couldn't.
00:33:43.180 So I don't have a reason.
00:33:45.340 You know, I have to go to Texas every month because I do this thing with
00:33:48.700 Steven Crowder on a lot of products.
00:33:50.980 And he flies me.
00:33:53.060 So, I mean, it's first class.
00:33:56.320 It's always the same flight.
00:33:57.840 it like i actually don't that's how nice it is down here um like going to the airport and and
00:34:05.960 i i do i do hate the flying because it's just a microcosm of our society uh but it really is
00:34:13.380 it's not like when i flew out in new york i would get a pit in my stomach knowing i had to go from
00:34:17.860 westchester county to la guadia not knowing if a truck was going to tip over if there was
00:34:23.060 construction yeah i would have a knot in my stomach for two weeks and then i'd get in there
00:34:28.080 and there's the bait the minute i get on the plane there's a baby i swear to god they're
00:34:31.580 putting a cigarette cigarette out on a baby's foot just to kick start them left when i talked
00:34:39.020 to you when i talked to you on the phone the other day you were on the plane it sounded like they
00:34:42.960 were torturing babies yeah there was a baby crying next to me which you know it's it's what
00:34:50.020 it is but i don't remember that back years ago maybe i'm just looking like every other flight
00:34:56.120 yeah and then even first class you know we like to we like to splurge a little nick i'll tell you
00:35:01.800 i've i've earned a few uh bucks in my day i decide to splurge a little but first class is now
00:35:08.980 steerage in the old days first class back when i was a kid i know walked you didn't even walk
00:35:17.820 through the same door they had you walking behind first class and you try to look through the
00:35:24.380 curtain and it was just this magical land of food and drink and laughing it was like mad men it was
00:35:31.860 like the show mad men they're all up there sipping scotch and uh uh feeling up uh waitresses hand
00:35:38.120 jobs yeah it was fantastic now they've just cut everything down it sucks and and like you
00:35:47.760 said it's a microcosm could you imagine people behaving on planes years ago like they do now
00:35:55.360 they wore suits and ties and a goddamn fedora and the women were in dresses and the kids god
00:36:02.240 forbid they opened their yap now it's a catastrophe every flight this is a part of the show where all
00:36:11.360 your your your fans are going to be uh you know in the comment section going or not even you know
00:36:17.680 Not even our fans, just people, oh, two cranky old guys.
00:36:20.820 Yeah, yeah.
00:36:21.400 Well, good.
00:36:22.320 We are two cranky old guys.
00:36:24.360 What am I trying to present myself as 28 years old looking for broads?
00:36:29.500 No.
00:36:29.920 I don't know.
00:36:30.320 I'm in my 60s.
00:36:31.520 I'm cranky.
00:36:34.220 Judging your girlfriends?
00:36:35.300 I don't know.
00:36:35.760 You might be kind of pulling off 28.
00:36:37.180 Well, you know, again, I made a lot of money in my day.
00:36:42.440 Well, I'm not a pauper, but I got this leper in my house that makes me a FLC.
00:36:46.520 She was, oh, come on, honey.
00:36:48.660 She knows I'm kidding.
00:36:49.880 Come on, honey.
00:36:50.720 It's true, honey.
00:36:51.860 It's true.
00:36:52.240 I'm kidding.
00:36:53.040 Come on.
00:36:55.280 I'm like Tony Montana on the top.
00:36:57.060 I was kidding.
00:36:58.260 I was kidding.
00:36:59.480 Give her a quail.
00:37:00.180 She'll love me tomorrow.
00:37:03.100 Yeah, no, it's, yeah.
00:37:05.360 So I picked my spots, Anthony.
00:37:07.000 Like, I couldn't, when I was a young comic, I would do like everybody else, 25, 30 weeks.
00:37:11.680 Because, you know, I wasn't married.
00:37:13.780 You're chasing broads and then having a good time.
00:37:15.940 And that was economy, flying economy, but I hated it.
00:37:19.820 It wears you down.
00:37:21.540 I heard Jerry Seinfeld on Tom Papa's show saying that.
00:37:25.100 Yeah, yeah.
00:37:25.620 He started talking about travel, and he's like, oh, that's retired more comedians.
00:37:29.860 And it really is true.
00:37:31.300 It's a cliche they go, but it's true.
00:37:33.640 They pay us, us comedians.
00:37:35.700 They don't pay us to tell jokes on stage.
00:37:38.340 They're paying us to stand in line at the airport, lost luggage, broken relationships.
00:37:44.540 Some garbage room that stinks.
00:37:47.440 Yeah, yeah.
00:37:49.060 Lock Kinta in.
00:37:50.740 You go in there with Lomenol, and it looks like an episode of I.D.
00:37:55.440 It's like a Peter Max poster under a blacklight.
00:38:00.800 You know, it's so funny because you got, like, a few stories.
00:38:07.840 You know, I hear Norton and Florentine and Voss,
00:38:12.220 and they'll tell these stories but there's only a few of them out of the thousands of times they've
00:38:18.680 been out so you got to imagine you know they aren't all this amazing funny we got some girls
00:38:24.900 took them back to the hotel stories it's mostly just boredom and a crap club and a crap crowd
00:38:32.320 well i don't want to blow my own horn but if you i think if you went back and pictured me in my
00:38:38.020 Even my late 20s, early 30s, compared to Norton and Voss,
00:38:41.560 I think I would have had a leg up on the broad situation.
00:38:46.500 You know I love both those guys to death.
00:38:51.640 Of course.
00:38:52.840 All their stories.
00:38:54.080 I say, Norton, you look better.
00:38:56.200 I think Jimmy looks, he's aging good.
00:38:58.360 You know, I texted him the other day, and he's like,
00:39:00.900 I look like I look.
00:39:02.160 And I go, I said, I think you look better now.
00:39:04.660 And he goes, oh, you're a good friend.
00:39:06.900 You're a good friend.
00:39:08.300 Yeah, he'll look at that as an insult because he thought he looked better years ago.
00:39:12.920 So he thinks you're lying.
00:39:13.820 Yeah, I didn't mean that either.
00:39:14.900 I mean, he's heavier now, but he just, I mean, well, he's not wearing an Ozzy Osbourne t-shirt
00:39:21.440 and he wears a jacket.
00:39:23.220 I don't know.
00:39:24.080 I think he looks good.
00:39:25.300 Yeah, that's great.
00:39:26.400 You know, it's going to be clipped and sent to him.
00:39:28.220 He looks heavier now.
00:39:30.100 That's the only thing that's going to be clipped and sent to him.
00:39:33.820 Yeah, but I'm saying it looks good on him.
00:39:36.420 Oh, yeah, yeah.
00:39:38.340 I thought he, whatever.
00:39:39.660 He like, you know, whatever.
00:39:40.960 Hey, with his lifestyle, we all thought he'd be losing a lot of weight.
00:39:44.200 So, you know, what are you going to do?
00:39:47.640 Yeah, I was worried about 20 years ago.
00:39:49.960 I thought he did maybe catch a germ.
00:39:51.940 Yeah, catch something.
00:39:53.320 From a happy ending on 48th Street behind a dentist.
00:39:56.660 Put on the bathrobe, some chicken broth, and a poodle next to him and call it a night.
00:40:02.940 You're going to stick around.
00:40:04.000 We've got another break.
00:40:04.820 I'd like to talk to you about a few more things going on there, Nick.
00:40:07.780 Okay, absolutely.
00:40:09.640 All right, we'll be right back with the great Mr. Nick DiPaolo
00:40:13.880 after this, The Anthony Cumia Show.
00:40:16.720 It's The Anthony Cumia Show on the Red Apple Podcast Network.
00:40:23.900 It's The Anthony Cumia Show on the Red Apple Podcast Network.
00:40:30.540 Welcome back.
00:40:31.760 uh if you're uh listening on the amplitude modulation airwaves then you don't have to
00:40:39.460 worry about this but uh download the app download the app anyway it's uh over there on the app store
00:40:46.680 77 wc app and uh then you can listen that's how this technology works we have nick de paulo
00:40:54.520 comedian good guy rational thinker some people might argue that point but Nick DiPaolo is with
00:41:04.640 us depends how close the Bacardi is Nick I I love talking with people about the old New York days
00:41:13.320 at the the comedy cellar in New York and yeah and you know because everyone loves bringing up that
00:41:19.020 goddamn table the table the table and it's just it's become this legendary thing whenever anyone
00:41:27.100 brings up the old crowd of Colin Quinn and Patrice O'Neill and Greg Giraldo and all these guys and
00:41:34.360 you obviously and uh you know they think it's still a still a thing that comics would still
00:41:41.460 sit in a club at a table and talk like you guys did about what's going on in the world and just
00:41:46.980 but you guys took busting balls to a level no one could even deal with now they they go home
00:41:54.020 and off themselves uh what what is this you're out there you're in the clubs what does it look
00:42:00.260 like these days well first of all i have to take um the table was my idea i don't know if you know
00:42:09.480 that i heard that i've heard that yeah i it's and this is how it happened i you know i was living
00:42:16.500 in LA and I moved from LA and this is how I know I had the eye of the tiger as they say as like a
00:42:23.700 younger comedian I flew home from LA like the night I got back right I still have my suitcase
00:42:31.160 one of my suitcase in my hand um went home for a second dumped some stuff off went down to the
00:42:38.400 comedy cellar later on and I get down there and I had a set can you imagine I had I actually was
00:42:44.760 on the schedule, but I'd have arrived for Bella.
00:42:46.980 Wow.
00:42:48.520 I would never.
00:42:50.800 Never.
00:42:51.280 People who know me, I wasn't like the fucking hot.
00:42:53.180 Excuse me, I wasn't the hot.
00:42:54.940 Ding, ding.
00:42:56.740 Ding, ding, dong.
00:42:58.140 There's one.
00:42:59.300 Anyways, so yeah, I get there, get to the comedy cell, and I'm in the Olive Tree Cafe
00:43:04.840 upstairs, and it's packed, and there's nowhere to sit.
00:43:08.240 And I knew Manny, because I was playing the club before I moved to L.A., and I go, Manny,
00:43:12.620 Can't you reserve a table for the comedians?
00:43:18.100 I don't want to stand amongst the people that are going to come downstairs and heckle me.
00:43:22.960 And Manny was such a great guy.
00:43:25.460 I thought that would just bounce off him, right?
00:43:28.160 I come in the next night, there's a table, that table, with three signs on it that say reserve for comedians.
00:43:37.140 And in the first few weeks, Manny loved me.
00:43:40.280 You know, and for the first few weeks, customers were still trying to sit that would have to kick them out.
00:43:45.260 You know, they would just ignore the signs and sit at the table and would have to go, you know, because it was because it was my idea.
00:43:53.980 I thought I'd had to be me who said, scram, get up, get you and your fat girl fanatic.
00:44:00.000 Yeah. God bless Manny for doing that. And that's how it started.
00:44:04.040 And then, yeah, Patrice O'Neal, Geraldo. I'm trying to remember some guys that are alive.
00:44:10.280 Um, Norton, uh, Voss, Bob Kelly and, uh, yeah, Bob Kelly and Voss and Colin.
00:44:18.720 And yes, we would have at it and the way, you know, and some nights it got ugly.
00:44:24.240 Like Patrice and Giraldo got into it one night.
00:44:28.200 I think Giraldo was a little, you know, a little tipsy, if you could say.
00:44:34.480 And that Colombian came out and he had a few drinks.
00:44:36.940 yelling patrice wasn't even at the table yet patrice was leaving and giraldo sets up
00:44:43.320 and they start yelling at each other and this isn't a packed restaurant with
00:44:47.060 right right families and patrice is effing this and that
00:44:51.680 all this racial crap you know you know what it's like too it's it's just like when you watch a
00:45:00.740 scorsese mob movie and people go wow wow we're just busting balls it's all right we're just
00:45:06.000 busting balls whenever anyone says that someone's gonna die it's never just busting balls someone
00:45:12.680 is gonna take it way too far but that's what made it so funny man you're right and and some people
00:45:20.580 did die but it wasn't because of a violence well no it was uh it was other it was other yeah but
00:45:26.360 um hey nick could i could i could i cut you off real quick and could you stick around for one
00:45:31.100 more segment because we we're got a pretty tight show here my friend all right all right we'll be
00:45:38.700 right back of course with the great nick de paulo i appreciate uh the time nick because you're uh
00:45:45.460 you're awesome man uh right after these quick words on the anthony cumia show it's the anthony
00:45:52.680 Cumia Show on the Red Apple Podcast Network.
00:45:58.840 It's the Anthony Cumia Show.
00:46:01.180 Entertaining and informative on the Red Apple Podcast Network.
00:46:06.160 Nick DiPaolo with us.
00:46:09.000 Remember the old days?
00:46:10.600 I remember the old days.
00:46:11.940 Oh, jeez.
00:46:13.480 Was that really?
00:46:14.820 Yep.
00:46:15.900 I was listening to ACDC.
00:46:17.700 Is that what they plan on the station?
00:46:19.540 Well, no.
00:46:20.440 That's just for us to hear.
00:46:22.040 Oh.
00:46:22.680 I knew it.
00:46:23.560 Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:46:24.260 I thought WABC made a real 180.
00:46:27.820 That would be a hell of a change right there.
00:46:30.080 They just started playing ACDC.
00:46:33.140 You see they're on their, I guess their final tour, is that it?
00:46:36.380 Because I saw some clips, and it's like, look,
00:46:40.140 some bands can just go on and on forever.
00:46:44.220 ACDC's known for just being pretty hardcore, and, you know,
00:46:48.760 So it just, ooh.
00:46:52.600 A Whole Lotta Rosie was my wedding song.
00:46:55.040 We lost three sets of grandparents trying to dance to them.
00:47:01.460 It's so funny that, yeah, you were playing ACDC because I have a guitar here,
00:47:06.780 and I was just learning chords today, you know, like a 15-year-old.
00:47:10.760 Are you trying that?
00:47:12.920 You know, you get to a certain point in life, and you decide to pick up a guitar.
00:47:18.760 yeah i'm hoping to make this circuit at 63 yeah i got a great name it's the band is osteoporosis
00:47:28.340 and uh this is a it's a new album called bone cancer uh we're throwing out uh free hurricanes
00:47:37.680 to the first hundred people that show up at the door it's a good way to keep your mind sharp it
00:47:45.000 really i mean it's fun you know but i get so frustrated i'll think i'm you know getting a
00:47:49.620 few licks down and then i'll i'll go on youtube and i'll see a 10 year old asian girl playing
00:47:55.780 clapton better than clapton can play clapton i don't know smash my guitar in the alley behind
00:48:02.580 my house dude i don't know what's real anymore and what is just i know because we have cameras
00:48:09.700 everyone can record stuff and they put it up there 30 years ago was some nine-year-old playing
00:48:18.020 van halen riffs i mean like it doesn't it doesn't make any sense either something really changed
00:48:27.080 or we were unbelievably incompetent back then because i picked up a keyboard at one point in
00:48:32.860 my life i thought i was going to be able to tickle the ivories and play a piano man and have girls
00:48:38.700 swoon over me needless to say that didn't pan out the casio didn't work for you no the game was a
00:48:49.620 little casio keyboard and i'm trying to like sing us a song you're the piano and i'm thinking you
00:48:55.400 know i'm in uh you should have picked up the guitar at 13 because by 15 you are king i saw
00:49:04.640 my brother do it. It pissed
00:49:06.580 me off to no end. He would show
00:49:08.640 up at a party. I'm sitting there
00:49:10.620 trying to, you know, do my jokes,
00:49:12.560 my little jokes, and Joe
00:49:14.760 starts playing songs
00:49:16.280 and girls would, you know,
00:49:18.540 believe me, we all know this, Nick.
00:49:22.860 Musician
00:49:23.300 beats comedian
00:49:24.560 any time at a party.
00:49:26.740 One of my best
00:49:28.680 bits was about that. Remember
00:49:30.600 the show Behind the Music? And I'm not going to
00:49:32.640 remember this. You guys are going to have to Google it.
00:49:34.640 But they had that show behind the music on, like, MTV.
00:49:38.360 Oh, yeah.
00:49:39.460 Stories of bands.
00:49:40.960 You never saw it behind the laughs, did you?
00:49:42.960 Behind the comedy.
00:49:44.700 No.
00:49:46.080 Me bringing back some girl with a club foot.
00:49:48.480 She was like the coat.
00:49:50.140 She worked in the coat room with the Funny Bone.
00:49:52.320 Right.
00:49:53.120 In Grand Rapids.
00:49:54.840 She had a hair lip.
00:49:56.840 You know.
00:49:58.300 Yeah.
00:49:59.660 They're talking about.
00:50:00.800 I remember on that VH1.
00:50:03.060 And I don't know if it was the Stones.
00:50:05.120 Somebody said, I woke up and there was a needle hanging out of my arm.
00:50:11.900 It was like Mickey Six or something.
00:50:14.740 I put that in my active book.
00:50:16.400 A comedian would say that.
00:50:17.340 I woke up, there was a needle hanging out.
00:50:19.480 And apparently I rolled over on the sewing kit at the La Quinta Inn.
00:50:25.340 I had about eight analogies.
00:50:27.860 I don't know where that bit is.
00:50:29.740 If somebody can find that, your fans can look it up.
00:50:31.800 It was one of my favorite bits, and it would still work today because you're right.
00:50:36.000 The AI stuff, here's what kills me, Anthony.
00:50:38.800 Like you said, you don't know what's real or not.
00:50:40.760 The animal stuff, I'm going to borrow, look it up, watch it, Jive TV or Clive, whatever it is.
00:50:46.000 And it's the animal stuff that makes me crazy.
00:50:49.640 There's a clip of a deer running in front of a car.
00:50:52.840 The guy stops the car, right?
00:50:54.560 The guy gets out.
00:50:56.120 The deer leads him into the woods to another deer that was wounded.
00:51:00.880 did and i go that never happened i look at a strange next time i go that never happened
00:51:06.020 i try to write a bit on that too i go you know some of them are believable somebody picked up
00:51:12.080 a bird that was hurt whatever i go but you know yesterday i saw one it was a great white shark
00:51:17.320 helping an old lady across the street i go that's it that's that's gotta be ai right right it looks
00:51:23.600 real though i don't know it's yeah you know what they you know what it is also with uh like going
00:51:29.520 to those parties years ago
00:51:31.560 and like I said, my brother would be
00:51:33.420 a musician. Anyone
00:51:35.380 can accidentally be funny.
00:51:38.400 Like you could have a guy
00:51:39.560 at a party
00:51:41.760 and he might say something and it's funny
00:51:43.540 and people look at him and go, oh, that's funny.
00:51:45.840 You don't accidentally pick up
00:51:47.600 a guitar and play a
00:51:49.640 Led Zeppelin riff.
00:51:51.440 You have to be
00:51:53.520 good. You have to have that
00:51:55.560 talent and girls will
00:51:57.420 gravitate toward that
00:51:59.020 so much faster. I don't care what they say.
00:52:01.260 What's the most important thing? A sense
00:52:03.180 of humor, I think,
00:52:05.100 is most... Yeah, sure.
00:52:06.740 I was funny while I had zits
00:52:09.000 on my face, and
00:52:10.280 I'd
00:52:13.000 finish up a little premature.
00:52:14.940 Yeah, but...
00:52:16.560 What do you find important?
00:52:20.420 Well, a big dong, and he's got to
00:52:22.540 be able to play the Les Paul.
00:52:25.620 He's got to do, you know,
00:52:27.120 three songs off the
00:52:28.420 off the uh black Sabbath's first album and he might get the first but you're right it's uh
00:52:34.780 the comedy thing um that's the part what's tough about stand-up though because people
00:52:40.180 because of what you just said people almost everybody has made their friends laugh at a
00:52:45.400 party right yes Anthony what that does is make them think that they're comedians yeah yeah
00:52:52.840 Between making your friends laugh at a party and going on stage and converting that to strangers, you know, is a whole different ballgame.
00:53:02.620 But everybody has made somebody laugh, which makes everybody an expert on comedy, you know.
00:53:08.800 And you can be very unfunny and get away with it.
00:53:13.200 I mean, a lot of people know the difference between a Bill Hicks and a, you know, I always say Carrot Top, but I like him.
00:53:20.100 I don't want to pick on Carrot Top.
00:53:21.400 No, he's actually done very well for himself,
00:53:23.600 and he's always gotten good reviews, that son of a bitch.
00:53:26.800 Yeah.
00:53:28.320 Tell me about it.
00:53:30.380 You know how depressing it is?
00:53:31.980 I play Vegas, and I'm walking down the hall to my room,
00:53:35.440 and all the Do Not Disturb signs have carrot tops
00:53:38.440 to add to him at the MGM Grand.
00:53:39.960 Yeah, his face.
00:53:41.580 And I'm playing Tom's Lounge.
00:53:43.340 Yeah, yeah.
00:53:44.200 It's a zebra hunt.
00:53:45.680 Yeah, people can fake it at a party, one line.
00:53:49.660 Your friends are funny.
00:53:50.700 And then I guess back, it had to be back in the early 80s when that comedy boom happened, where everyone thought they were a comic.
00:53:58.720 I think that was part of it.
00:54:00.740 A lot of those open micers started out with, hey, you know, I cracked my family up around Easter.
00:54:08.160 Oh, yeah.
00:54:08.480 Everyone's laughing.
00:54:09.580 And they bought it.
00:54:11.460 And there were all these comedy shows that were out.
00:54:14.220 Oh, yeah.
00:54:15.460 Evening at the Improv and the...
00:54:18.540 Caroline's Comedy Hour.
00:54:19.820 Carol Lentz Comedy Hour, and they were, for the most part, terrible.
00:54:24.200 You'd get one guy on there that might make you laugh,
00:54:27.200 and then it hit that wall, finally, thank God.
00:54:30.420 Oh, yeah.
00:54:31.100 It hit a wall where people are like,
00:54:32.940 yeah, we're waiting for the cream to float to the top,
00:54:36.640 and it happened.
00:54:37.740 That's what I've been saying is that's how I feel about podcasts right now.
00:54:42.060 There are too many podcasters and podcasts
00:54:45.880 because everyone could go to Best Buy and get a podcast play kit
00:54:50.500 and set it up, and now they're a podcaster.
00:54:53.520 But they don't know what the hell to do once they turn the mic on.
00:54:57.700 I think we're in that same thing with podcasting
00:55:00.600 that we were in comedy in the 80s.
00:55:02.660 Well, yeah, and comedy's getting saturated again now, too.
00:55:05.860 Oh, God.
00:55:06.800 I'm glad you brought up podcasts.
00:55:08.300 This is how bad I am at marketing myself.
00:55:10.700 Yeah, come on, Nick.
00:55:11.740 I have a podcast Monday.
00:55:13.220 Nick DiPaolo, everybody.
00:55:15.120 Where can we hear you, Nick?
00:55:18.700 Monday through Thursday, 5 p.m. Eastern on Rumble.
00:55:22.840 And if you guys don't know who Rumble is,
00:55:24.660 Rumble is putting YouTube out of business.
00:55:27.460 Rumble's the naughty, naughty, naughty version.
00:55:30.300 The naughty version of YouTube.
00:55:33.060 Yeah.
00:55:35.480 I can go wild on Rumble.
00:55:38.120 And, you know, it's God bless the guy that runs it,
00:55:42.200 uh chris pavlovsky whatever his name is but he's uh you know he's like the only thing that stands
00:55:48.500 between us and um total censorship you know it's it's so rough these days man like i you know i do
00:55:56.460 my show my internet show and uh it's just there's nothing i can't say because it's subscription
00:56:03.800 based it's private it's that but everything else i put stuff up on youtube i gotta be real careful
00:56:09.760 And now, this is FCC, Nick DiPaolo.
00:56:14.240 The FCC's watching and listening right now to make sure Anthony Cumia doesn't screw up again.
00:56:21.860 Yeah, well, if you're listening, leave him alone.
00:56:25.560 Yeah, thank you.
00:56:26.920 Leave the guy alone.
00:56:27.980 He's making an honest living.
00:56:29.260 The guy used to put up duct work, okay?
00:56:31.360 I put in air conditioning and heating ducts.
00:56:33.700 For the love of God, I was able to talk and get a few people to listen.
00:56:37.820 Can you just leave me alone?
00:56:39.660 That's all I'm asking.
00:56:40.960 Leave me alone.
00:56:41.900 This guy's going to have stage four lung cancer in about three minutes.
00:56:44.640 Let him have his fun.
00:56:45.940 Breathing in asbestos.
00:56:48.000 You didn't call me, Tony.
00:56:49.980 You didn't call me.
00:56:51.700 You did construction.
00:56:53.160 Yeah, yeah.
00:56:53.720 We all did.
00:56:54.220 I did all that stuff.
00:56:55.080 My uncle would have me up in an attic.
00:56:56.720 You know, this is 1976.
00:56:58.560 Oh, God.
00:56:59.040 Yeah, get in there and clean out that.
00:57:00.680 What is it?
00:57:01.180 I don't know.
00:57:01.600 It's like some type of chemical dump.
00:57:03.740 You make believe it's cotton candy.
00:57:05.520 Eat it.
00:57:05.880 Go ahead.
00:57:06.380 Have fun, kid.
00:57:07.400 Yeah, put on a Red Sox hat.
00:57:08.840 Put a paper towel in front of your face
00:57:13.240 Knock yourself out
00:57:14.240 Hold this rag over your mouth
00:57:17.980 Yeah you'll be fine
00:57:19.100 30 years later you're coughing up blood
00:57:22.440 Nick you are a gem
00:57:26.520 I love having you on
00:57:28.880 I want to do this more of course
00:57:30.840 And we live way too close together
00:57:33.200 To not show up live
00:57:35.100 On each other's show
00:57:35.920 I always think about that
00:57:37.740 And it bothers me a little bit that I go, no, he's just like me.
00:57:42.020 You know what?
00:57:43.340 How far are you from me?
00:57:45.140 Two?
00:57:45.540 Two hours?
00:57:46.460 I'll wave.
00:57:47.160 Look, look out your window.
00:57:48.440 Here I am.
00:57:49.000 I'm waving.
00:57:49.480 Is that you?
00:57:51.440 Oh, yeah.
00:57:52.300 You got the Make America Great Again hat.
00:57:54.780 I'm not that far, dude.
00:57:57.380 I'm really not.
00:57:58.100 Probably two hours.
00:57:59.700 Two hours.
00:58:00.240 Two hours.
00:58:01.060 But I go, he's just like me.
00:58:04.500 You know, he don't want to get me.
00:58:06.840 No.
00:58:07.100 As much as I want to see Anthony, wait, I don't know.
00:58:10.560 We're getting a car, drive, what are you, crazy?
00:58:13.360 I got to go outside, I got to open my door, I got to dress.
00:58:18.800 Dude, I shower once every 11 days now, I swear to God.
00:58:23.460 I swear to God.
00:58:24.360 I think I got you beat.
00:58:26.540 You know how girls are doing this thing called fabbing?
00:58:30.680 I don't know if you've read this.
00:58:31.920 I don't know, look at you keeping tabs on all the teen magazines.
00:58:35.580 Oh, God, yes.
00:58:36.840 I have a middle school up the street.
00:58:40.620 What is fabbing?
00:58:42.960 They touch themselves down there, the girls,
00:58:45.560 and then they put it behind their ears.
00:58:48.740 Are you kidding me?
00:58:49.700 Like perfume?
00:58:51.000 Yes.
00:58:51.880 So apparently I tried it, and ass sweat doesn't work as good.
00:58:56.000 No, no.
00:58:58.060 I put some ass sweat on my wrist.
00:59:02.580 Not quite Fabergé.
00:59:04.020 he goes the funniest part is he said you put it on your wrist
00:59:09.700 like maybe in the 40s they did which is even funnier
00:59:15.400 but nick uh i love you bro well yeah uh let's you know i know how it is when you first get back
00:59:23.440 yeah no show and you know rambling or whatever but tell the people this friday night to come
00:59:29.560 see me at the coho's musical and then may 15th and 16th at zanys in rosemont illinois and listen
00:59:37.380 to my podcast it's only 40 minutes it's rough and tumble i say what i want uh and that's on rumble
00:59:44.460 uh at the nick the palo show 5 p.m eastern monday through thursday so um hollow yeah baby i love it
00:59:52.780 nick thanks so much for coming on man for bringing anthony back thank you yes thank you for noticing
00:59:58.740 that some people you know they still keep their mouth shut they never talk to me again these
01:00:03.380 bastards uh nick thanks so much man i'll uh i'll see you soon hopefully i'll drive the 15 minutes
01:00:10.360 to your house all right let's meet in a waffle house halfway in between yeah let's do that
01:00:15.580 the great nick depala we'll be right back after these words it's the anthony cumia show on the
01:00:22.780 red apple podcast network it's the anthony cumia show entertaining and informative on the red apple
01:00:33.140 podcast network my god so much fun nick de paulo uh just a great guy funny as hell you go to one
01:00:45.440 of his shows he doesn't give a crap i guess i can say he's up on stage uh he definitely cares
01:00:54.940 about what he's doing he's very funny but a heckler i oof to be a heckler in front of nick
01:01:03.300 oh boy that's brutal man he will destroy you and uh it's just really funny and you know pertinent
01:01:13.420 to the the times great guy nick de paulo uh i wanted to talk i actually wanted to talk about
01:01:22.180 this with nick but uh you gotta go uh fake news everyone there's some fake news going on
01:01:29.200 can we get some fake news because it's now fake news folks fake news it's the fake news fake
01:01:38.420 stories news moment i don't know if i've ever had a fake news segment that wasn't msnbc it's
01:01:47.460 even worse than cnn these days they're so blatant in their fake newsness that uh they always seem
01:01:56.880 to come up this one the latest one is msnbc's simone d sanders townsend yes that's the name
01:02:07.460 how pretentious is having simone d i don't know what the d stands for and why didn't you
01:02:14.920 do like simone d s townsend instead of simone d sanders or do the whole thing simone what is
01:02:23.100 dylan simone dylan sanders townsend but um very pretentious that name and uh this is from msnbc
01:02:33.060 And because of the deportations of the illegals, people just are assuming that anyone that Trump doesn't like,
01:02:44.000 even if they are an American citizen, could possibly get deported.
01:02:48.780 Let's listen to Simone D. Sanders Townsend.
01:02:54.920 I've been talking about the NAACP Legal Defense Fund.
01:02:59.060 She penned an op-ed in The Nation this week.
01:03:02.120 and her op-ed talked about that we think that democracies are the way they die is dramatically
01:03:10.340 through these wars and blood is shed and it's it's it's cinematic in a sense but really the
01:03:17.340 realistic way in which democracies die is it is dismantled brick by brick piece by piece and she
01:03:23.000 says yeah that was in star wars now with the lawlessness um from the this administration
01:03:28.040 are really the canaries in the coal mine gasping for air.
01:03:31.560 I'm paraphrasing here.
01:03:32.920 But to me, that is why Kilmar Abrego Garcia's specific case,
01:03:39.560 the case of the gentleman who's a makeup artist out of California
01:03:43.080 who was also sent to that prison,
01:03:44.440 that is why the 75% of the folks who have been sent,
01:03:48.840 the men who have been sent there that don't have criminal records,
01:03:51.600 that is why this is so important.
01:03:53.160 Because if they could do it to them,
01:03:54.560 They can snatch students off the street without any pushback or recourse.
01:03:59.400 They will do it to any of us.
01:04:01.040 To be very clear, it's going to be the people of color and the horrible community that are next in line.
01:04:06.880 Thank you.
01:04:07.640 Enough for her.
01:04:10.460 Thank you.
01:04:11.380 So because they deport illegal aliens, which has been happening forever in this country,
01:04:19.260 uh for some reason what we are going to be deporting everyone people of color i like how
01:04:28.040 she says that people of color has this happened did trump say in any way shape or form that
01:04:35.360 that might be something that may happen in the future of course not it's more fake news
01:04:44.100 fake news and uh lies and propaganda i don't know anyone that watches msnbc i think more people just
01:04:53.240 heard msnbc right now on my show than they did on msnbc quite quite frankly but uh that's what's
01:05:04.560 going on they just pour this nonsense and garbage onto the american people it's no better than the
01:05:12.880 old soviet union was look up pravda or tass news agency those were the old soviet union
01:05:20.740 newspapers and uh it's no different than msnbc and cnn is now we'll be right back after a couple
01:05:28.600 of seconds don't go anywhere it's the anthony cumia show on the red apple podcast network
01:05:35.020 it's the anthony cumia show entertaining and informative on the red apple podcast network
01:05:44.480 shocking we were shocking look out anthony cumia show uh let's take a call or two we've talked
01:05:55.320 about a few things that i think the people want to either rebut agree with or just babble about
01:06:03.380 how about jim jim apparently is from upstate new york what's up jim hey anthony hey you're my you're
01:06:10.800 my new favorite show man i'm not hey you're really good i appreciate that i was a stern guy back in
01:06:16.840 the day and um can't stand him now it's so different man from the old days i was what
01:06:22.680 they called in the business a p1 listener i wouldn't miss one second of stern and it's like
01:06:28.860 a different person uh now but you know he's what 70 something with the elite hollywood crowd yeah
01:06:34.400 the hollywood guys jimmy kimmel robin i was hanging out with jimmy kimmel who robin yeah
01:06:41.680 that's it's tough following nick de paulo he's good i actually did a little stand-up comedy
01:06:46.560 about 20 years ago oh did you well you know i started with some bringer shows down in the city
01:06:52.120 and then i you know it costs you so much money to go down there just for like 15 minutes and
01:06:58.480 You've got to convince people to go down and watch you.
01:07:01.120 Do you have a yellowing headshot hanging in some club somewhere?
01:07:06.440 Well, I actually booked for a paid show on New Year's Eve,
01:07:09.660 opening for DL Uggly on New Year's Eve at New York Comedy Club.
01:07:14.580 Was that before or after 9-11, New Year's Eve?
01:07:17.240 That was after 9-11.
01:07:18.500 I was thinking about that.
01:07:19.600 Is this the night they're going to blow up the Lincoln Tunnel?
01:07:21.860 You never know.
01:07:23.140 I never made it.
01:07:24.080 I never made it.
01:07:24.820 I broke down with my tractor trailer.
01:07:26.760 I needed the money.
01:07:27.780 I had to work that day and never made it.
01:07:29.980 I was calling the booker.
01:07:31.360 He never answered my phone calls again.
01:07:33.600 You're like a rom-com character.
01:07:35.480 I drove a truck, but I was doing stand-up comedy.
01:07:38.120 I met a great girl.
01:07:38.960 I've done a million things, man.
01:07:40.200 I used to go to restaurants.
01:07:41.500 I had a pizza place in Newark.
01:07:43.420 I bought a farm upstate.
01:07:45.180 What's that?
01:07:46.120 Look at you.
01:07:46.720 What are you doing now?
01:07:48.280 You sound motivated.
01:07:49.500 I have a small farm upstate New York.
01:07:51.440 I buy and sell equipment.
01:07:53.100 I have a small diner I bought up here that's close.
01:07:55.020 Look at you.
01:07:55.640 You never stopped.
01:07:56.600 You're a motivated guy.
01:07:58.940 I like hearing that.
01:07:59.600 You know what it is, man?
01:08:00.260 I lost everything back in the 90s.
01:08:02.160 You know, I had a business that went under, and, you know, I spent every time I had, you
01:08:07.880 know what I mean?
01:08:08.360 And living the life, you know what I mean?
01:08:10.660 And then it all went away, you know?
01:08:12.120 I hear you.
01:08:13.460 But you're the kind of guy that, like, seems like you pulled yourself up by those proverbial
01:08:17.360 bootstraps and got your ass in gear.
01:08:20.860 I learned the value of money, and I buy things cash, you know?
01:08:24.220 and i i private private financing i buy things cash i'm always flip i'm up at my shop right now
01:08:29.900 i go seven days a week well you know i said you oh you really you literally are my favorite show
01:08:34.240 now you're funny man i appreciate smart you're edgy you know you go to the edge and you pull back
01:08:39.380 would you would you ever would you ever take like a weekly gig if they offer until you're there in a
01:08:43.320 week or no yeah it's been uh you know it's it's been discussed i'll just say that but uh i would
01:08:49.840 Yeah, what am I doing?
01:08:50.900 I'm hanging out down here in South Carolina.
01:08:53.120 I fly radio-controlled planes.
01:08:55.720 I play with my cat and my soon-to-have dog.
01:08:58.940 Other than that, yeah, give me a show.
01:09:01.320 I'll do it whenever.
01:09:02.640 Whenever they want me to do a show, I'll do a show.
01:09:04.560 I love it.
01:09:04.840 I listen to your podcast.
01:09:05.820 I'll listen to your show, and then I'll re-listen to it during a week on your podcast while I'm driving.
01:09:10.420 Thank you, Jim.
01:09:11.460 Yeah, and I said I'm not a suck-up, man.
01:09:13.760 No, that's great.
01:09:14.860 No, you seem like a pretty straightforward guy.
01:09:15.660 I never knew you back in the day.
01:09:16.680 I knew your show.
01:09:17.760 I knew your show, Opie and Anthony, except I was a stern guy, you know.
01:09:21.820 And I just happened by chance to listen to your first show when it came on a few weeks ago.
01:09:28.040 And I was like, this is great.
01:09:29.480 I actually turned a few people on to it.
01:09:31.600 I really appreciate that.
01:09:33.180 Genuine, genuine compliment.
01:09:35.500 I said, you talk about the illegal aliens and trucking?
01:09:38.060 Dude, they're destroying trucking.
01:09:39.700 See, there's an unknown program that Biden installed called the non-domiciled CDL program.
01:09:48.460 He fast-tracked refugees.
01:09:50.620 And there's probably over a million refugees untracked, right, fast-tracked that are driving
01:09:57.180 track of trailers now, like Somalians, Pakistanis.
01:10:00.620 Oh, my God.
01:10:01.700 Now, if I'm not wrong here, Jim, and let me tell you, because I've kept tabs on this
01:10:07.020 through the news.
01:10:07.640 they are some of the worst drivers ever they're involved in so many just regular not even
01:10:14.120 commercial regular crashes they're not insured they don't have a license uh this is terrible
01:10:22.340 i haven't heard about this yet i've had a back him in dude i had a somalian guy from this one
01:10:27.860 company like 20 minutes he's trying to back in back it in like a snake hey man stop turning
01:10:33.080 away. He goes, turn the wheel which way? This way? This way?
01:10:35.140 I literally stood on the step and
01:10:36.960 backed his truck in. I'm the truck driver now.
01:10:40.500 Listen, you know
01:10:41.220 what it is, man?
01:10:42.860 It's killing trucking because
01:10:44.860 they'll work for anything. Trucking
01:10:46.960 goes up and down in cycles. The rates
01:10:48.800 go up. The rates came down and they're
01:10:50.880 never going back up because these guys ain't going
01:10:52.860 nowhere. If you're living in a hut in Somalia
01:10:54.820 and make it $400 a year, now you're
01:10:56.860 in an air-conditioned tractor trailer. You know what I mean?
01:10:59.240 Oh, it's the life.
01:11:01.080 Right. You go into the bathroom
01:11:02.800 I'm home every day.
01:11:04.640 But you go into a bathroom at a truck stop, they're in there washing their feet in the hand-washed thing.
01:11:11.040 It literally looks like a third row.
01:11:13.000 See, people don't know about this.
01:11:14.740 They're unvetted, fast-track refugees that are driving track or trailing them.
01:11:19.880 I haven't heard this, Tim.
01:11:21.180 They've dumbed the job down so much.
01:11:24.100 Automatic transmissions, GPS in any language, they just point them and go.
01:11:29.540 It's a real problem in trucking.
01:11:32.080 Not like the old days where you'd hear,
01:11:34.100 brr, brr, brr.
01:11:35.960 Dude, I'd be in Manhattan at 2 o'clock in the morning
01:11:39.680 with a Cisco truck loaded to the roof at 15 stops
01:11:42.700 going into the basement.
01:11:44.580 I'd come into the Lincoln Tunnel.
01:11:46.980 I'd go down to 1st Street.
01:11:48.380 I'd make a left.
01:11:49.140 I'd see all the transvestites.
01:11:50.300 They were drag queens all dressed up.
01:11:51.820 It was my girl.
01:11:53.000 Norton was probably there first.
01:11:54.280 Jimmy, yeah, you probably saw Jimmy there.
01:11:56.180 Jim, thanks so much, man.
01:11:57.520 I appreciate you listening and I appreciate what you do, man.
01:12:03.240 You're a motivated guy.
01:12:04.460 We need more guys like you, man.
01:12:05.880 Thank you, man.
01:12:08.460 That's something.
01:12:09.500 Yeah.
01:12:10.100 Every single aspect of this country has been screwed over by what this this Biden Harris administration did over the past four years.
01:12:20.720 And, you know, Obama, too.
01:12:24.420 The first term of Trump was a speed bump.
01:12:27.520 That was just a speed bump to try to slow down what was going on.
01:12:32.040 But having the speed bump between Obama and Biden or whoever was the president, we don't even really know.
01:12:41.640 It screwed everything up.
01:12:43.540 They put so many illegals into this country.
01:12:48.320 And even now with Trump in office, we can't even throw them out.
01:12:53.320 They're losing their minds.
01:12:54.780 and it has been so detrimental to this country and they'll try to tell you immigrants are the
01:13:01.900 they're gold oh diversity is our greatest strength we need more people that is such garbage
01:13:12.000 if you are qualified and you can help and make this country a better place come on in you are
01:13:22.320 cordially invited to be a citizen of the united states but you got to assimilate
01:13:30.160 you got to realize what makes us america and and uh what what type of morals and values
01:13:40.620 we have things we hold dear as a country you can't be against that and just want a free ride
01:13:50.700 then get out no one's saying that everyone that comes into this country is bad but the vast
01:14:00.080 majority recently over the past few years over obama and and biden administration yeah they're
01:14:07.460 terrible they've been terrible this is a bad time for for this country and he's right
01:14:16.180 he's right we i i've watched videos uh dash cams of these trucks because the companies put cameras
01:14:27.040 in them they want to see how these guys from somalia or central america are doing and you
01:14:34.260 watch these videos and they're hazards just complete hazards they don't know what they're
01:14:40.460 doing they're giving them this giant weapon to wield on the highways and uh it's terrible terrible
01:14:50.220 let's see what we got here paul paul from uh aoc country queens new york you like aoc paul
01:15:02.100 no way
01:15:04.300 she's your girl though man
01:15:05.960 she's your girl
01:15:06.940 no but
01:15:08.980 AOC's up on the northern side
01:15:11.880 of the border up here
01:15:12.980 I got Joanne Amriola
01:15:15.020 I got Vicky Palladino
01:15:17.080 I got like a whole bunch of people
01:15:19.120 you got some of the
01:15:20.540 some of the goombas
01:15:22.280 exactly
01:15:24.880 what do you got man
01:15:26.400 the thing I was going to say was
01:15:28.360 these judges that are telling Trump
01:15:31.360 to bring back the sky uh didn't they have actual wars that said they have to be pulled out
01:15:39.560 originally so if these judges are doing the bidding of biden and obama's crew they're actually
01:15:48.360 doing executive order uh they're telling him to do what executive orders are being done by biden
01:15:56.500 By Biden? Well, then Trump should be able to just cancel those EOs.
01:16:00.860 Trump should be able to cancel those EOs then. Yeah.
01:16:03.380 They get the judges out of the thing, you know,
01:16:07.020 to show that they're wrong in the spotlight.
01:16:10.120 Because the actual law in the book says,
01:16:12.880 if you're not supposed to be here, you're not supposed to be here.
01:16:15.880 Yeah.
01:16:16.320 But these judges are saying, bring him back.
01:16:20.960 What does the law actually say?
01:16:22.840 Does the law say, you're done, get out?
01:16:25.500 then these judges are acting like uh like uh propagandists they're supporting the the communist
01:16:33.760 revolution well against this country yeah i i think you're uh i think you're you're on to
01:16:39.980 something there or i think you're on something paul but you're on to something i i i do i do
01:16:45.580 appreciate your call i'm gonna hang up but i'll continue talking about what you just brought up
01:16:49.840 because uh the fact of the matter is yeah they keep saying that this guy hasn't gotten due process
01:16:58.500 all these illegals that are being booted back to the countries that they're supposed to
01:17:03.520 be booted back to they don't have uh they haven't gotten due process which is part of of course
01:17:09.740 our constitutional rights here in this country and um well you're an illegal alien and i also
01:17:18.760 understand i'm not i'm not completely stupid that if you commit a crime here and you're here
01:17:25.840 illegally uh you are uh due your due process so you'll you'll go through um an indictment
01:17:37.020 and trial and conviction and sentencing uh but if you're illegal you don't have to be tried
01:17:47.540 there's no trial for being an illegal alien you don't there's no due process there you don't have
01:17:55.620 to go to court and someone has to prove you're an illegal alien the burden's on you if the cops came
01:18:03.560 here to my house and said anthony you're an illegal alien we are going to deport you i could
01:18:10.800 show them so much documentation that I am
01:18:14.860 a citizen of the United States of America
01:18:18.360 that of course I wouldn't be deported.
01:18:22.500 But they're not able to fulfill that burden.
01:18:27.600 We don't have to go to court and do an investigation
01:18:30.340 to determine if this guy is a citizen. He's not.
01:18:34.600 He's illegal. We know that. So goodbye.
01:18:38.520 you're gone that is due process in this country that is the process that you go through when
01:18:47.460 you're here illegally get out bye bye if you've committed other crimes then certainly you're due
01:18:56.300 due process you want to go to prison for murder or sexual assault or robbery we'll we'll fulfill
01:19:03.840 your your due process or do you want to get the hell out of here and go back to your home country
01:19:09.880 so this guy is an illegal alien and he was sent back to his home in el salvador
01:19:18.680 where he belongs and one of the greatest things is this uh the president down there in el salvador
01:19:27.500 um even he knows even he says that he's taking care of his criminals he'll deal with it send
01:19:41.360 him down he will deal with it because he likes good people he likes good law-abiding citizens
01:19:49.720 do we got the um el salvador president yeah he kind of agrees with trump and
01:19:54.520 let's hear uh hear this guy his name sounds like bukkake but it isn't go ahead
01:20:00.780 what about the human right of a woman not to be raped i mean what about the human right of kids
01:20:06.900 to you know to to to play or to be free or to you know go to the park and what about the human
01:20:11.940 right to live or the human right to walk in the street right and but no they were they were worried
01:20:17.560 about the human rights of the of the killers yeah worried about the human rights of the killers
01:20:23.740 even the guy in El Salvador knows that the liberal idiots up here are out of their minds
01:20:32.580 you're like yeah what yeah you sent back a criminal all right yeah we'll take him we put
01:20:38.200 him in prison thank you and then he we must really look stupid to the rest of the world
01:20:46.040 even though the rest of the world's kind of looking pretty stupid these days but we must
01:20:51.600 look really stupid where the other countries have to be looking and going so let me get this straight
01:20:56.640 there's a portion of the country that wants the criminals returned to their country so that
01:21:06.600 they're illegally they're committing crimes apparently this guy uh was uh convicted of
01:21:13.180 domestic violence against his wife and the rest of the world has to go like why why do they want
01:21:22.880 him back well they don't the democrats don't anything trump does they need to go against it
01:21:32.900 no matter how stupid they sound going against it because their constituents are mentally ill
01:21:41.180 the nose ring god what a dead giveaway that's been over the course of uh a few years now
01:21:48.480 whenever you're scrolling on social media and i'll see before i even hear the sound i'll see
01:21:55.420 some stringy haired disaster of a woman with a nose ring and i don't even have to look at what's
01:22:04.020 written i just go oh boy i'm gonna click this and i know exactly what i'm getting and then
01:22:09.760 Trump today is a fascist race.
01:22:13.860 I'm like, yep.
01:22:15.180 The nose ring that told me everything I need to know.
01:22:21.020 It's insane.
01:22:24.260 But that's where we're living right now.
01:22:28.160 I just hope, for God's sake, please, after Trump is done,
01:22:35.160 And he's been just turning the screws on the Democrats and liberals about his third term.
01:22:43.500 He's not serving a third term.
01:22:45.480 I swear to you, he will not serve a third term.
01:22:49.120 He won't try.
01:22:50.800 This is a great tactic on the part of someone that's really good at screwing with the opposition.
01:22:58.720 Let's be real.
01:22:59.400 He's been doing that.
01:23:00.560 His Easter message today was great.
01:23:02.700 Another twist of the screw.
01:23:05.160 sleepy Joe
01:23:06.720 but that's where we're at
01:23:10.040 they don't understand
01:23:11.800 he's that guy
01:23:13.080 but I hope
01:23:13.840 after Trump's term
01:23:16.260 we get someone in there
01:23:17.280 that continues
01:23:18.260 not
01:23:19.200 it doesn't have to be
01:23:20.560 exactly like Trump
01:23:21.960 but it's got to be someone
01:23:24.040 that just keeps
01:23:25.520 these Democrat
01:23:27.000 liberal Democrats
01:23:28.280 in check
01:23:29.000 because
01:23:30.240 I don't want it to be
01:23:31.680 just a speed bump
01:23:32.620 I want them to
01:23:35.160 to be so backed off of their their intent to destroy this country it's all they've been doing
01:23:47.800 everything we look at and then they lie so what about the price of eggs
01:23:54.840 first of all we never really cared about the price of eggs i don't think anyway i think most
01:24:00.820 people that voted for trump are like if eggs go down that's great but if we could say look how
01:24:05.120 expensive the eggs are to get trump elected then we'll play off the egg price uh but the price eggs
01:24:12.080 have come down the price of fuel has come down energy but they will just lie to you and tell
01:24:18.500 you it hasn't and they're they got a better way to do things and uh they don't quite frankly
01:24:24.840 And I just hope this term of Trump and the next term of somebody that is also, you know, a Republican, I guess, conservative, someone just with some common sense is elected and keeps these morons we see in the streets every weekend yelling with their nose rings and the purple hair.
01:24:50.260 And I hope I hope people will be right back with more of the Anthony Cumia show in moments.
01:24:59.560 It's the Anthony Cumia show on the Red Apple Podcast Network.
01:25:07.380 It's the Anthony Cumia show on the Red Apple Podcast Network.
01:25:12.500 it certainly is yes the anthony cumia show on a great easter sunday evening thank you for
01:25:21.460 joining us we do appreciate it um so uh another thing that happened but it was right after last
01:25:30.540 week's show so you know i do a show every sunday so sometimes stuff happens monday or tuesday and
01:25:36.340 it might be old news so i'm not going to dwell on it i'm going to kind of try to take a a different
01:25:41.420 tack on it but uh the jeff bezos rocket thing with the the women we've been through it believe me
01:25:48.060 seen all the memes and all the funny little comments on social media um but i want to get
01:25:55.560 into something just a little different about it of course bezos he's got a blue origin it needed
01:26:01.700 the money blue uh and he sent up a bunch of uh women some women his his fiancee i guess katie perry
01:26:16.620 um gail king uh and then uh some other girls that no one really knew it was like uh you know when
01:26:27.700 they do an ensemble cast on tv and you know the the players but then there's background like in
01:26:32.940 welcome back cotter or happy days you know you'd go to the the diner and there's fonzie and mouth
01:26:40.840 and richie and then there's people in the background so they had a couple of people in the
01:26:44.700 background so they launched them in texas i guess it was and they went into you know space
01:26:55.120 and i use the term loosely because uh i guess there's this who decided where space starts
01:27:03.700 i i really haven't been able to figure that one out when when the the guys go to the space station
01:27:10.680 we got a big space station orbiting the earth when they go there on one of the
01:27:15.160 elon musk spacex rockets that seems like space to me it's a it's a space station it's been in
01:27:24.260 orbit for quite some time it's not coming right back down in 11 minutes so that to me is space
01:27:31.980 what these girls did was a carnival ride and i had said this before i think jeff bezos and this
01:27:39.640 blue origin project is dangerous it's it's a carnival ride uh he he puts celebrities of some
01:27:48.100 note into this thing and then blast them off past a certain altitude and then they're called
01:27:58.080 astronauts yes astra katy perry is an astronaut oof and uh i just think it's dangerous there's
01:28:09.940 no science behind it there's no real uh gain of of knowledge behind it you're just shooting a bunch
01:28:22.940 of girls up uh as high as this rocket can go and and then they come back down so it's ridiculous
01:28:30.960 and the whole thing was silly and we all laughed and gail king got mad and uh katie perry said
01:28:37.640 stupid things because she's katie perry for god's sake what did you expect this is one small step
01:28:44.660 for matt now we're getting a good love i just the love that i wish we all could love and feel love
01:28:52.200 uh so it was stupid but some people seem to believe the whole thing was faked and that they
01:29:04.200 never went up the the rocket never went anywhere and um yeah i don't believe that and i've been
01:29:14.160 criticized by a lot of people over the course of the years because i believe that we went to the
01:29:20.640 moon i believe that um neil armstrong and buzz aldrin set foot on the moon in july of 1969
01:29:30.320 and uh the subsequent apollo missions aside from 13 uh set foot on the moon
01:29:38.800 and uh i've been called an idiot a dope a boomer that's a good one hey boomer like
01:29:47.220 the the truth be told there's nothing that really disproves that we've been to the moon
01:29:56.340 is a lot that proves we have been but um you know they'll get into that if you want to you know
01:30:03.180 and that's why i i had the phones cleared if you want to call and uh try to convince me that we
01:30:09.900 have not been to the moon or that the earth is flat that's another one i'll spend a few i'll
01:30:17.660 waste a few minutes uh doing that but um you know we have to uh we will get a few calls on the line
01:30:27.740 and and be able to do that because uh i think it's crazy i think it's insane that people actually
01:30:35.220 think we didn't go to the moon and the earth is flat so uh call now 800-848-9222 and we'll be
01:30:43.000 right back with your calls it's the anthony cumia show on the red apple podcast network
01:30:49.700 it's the anthony cumia show entertaining and informative on the red apple podcast network
01:30:58.120 yep we start our third hour of the anthony cumia show
01:31:04.600 welcoming uh yeah i was just talking about of course the jeff bezos spaceship that took a bunch
01:31:14.820 of uh girls up up into space you know technically i think about this all the time i grew up loving
01:31:25.320 the space program nasa the the apollo missions all right you might think i'm real old and
01:31:31.820 You know, you might be right, but I don't really remember the Mercury program.
01:31:37.220 The Gemini program, I kind of have some recollection as a little kid in between getting smacked in the head by my dad.
01:31:46.620 But the Apollo program was all I was all about that.
01:31:50.100 I remember every single mission and especially the moon missions.
01:31:55.440 and uh i absolutely believe and i think it's insane to not believe that we went to the moon
01:32:04.900 america put men on the moon and i catch crap for it all the time a lot of people you know how how
01:32:13.580 would they get through the van allen radiation belts anthony you're a fool if you believe
01:32:20.620 there it's worse than the thermite paint that was in the world trade center and i know because i'm
01:32:28.720 off the grid in mexico thank you jesse ventura thank you for that but i still to this day believe
01:32:36.800 that we did indeed go to the moon uh and we're taking some calls dave from jersey wants to talk
01:32:47.000 about space the final frontier uh dave what's up my friend yeah the flat earther thing right you
01:32:54.600 know if the earth was flat cats were knocked everything off the end a long time ago see
01:32:59.080 anyway right why do we go into space it's all because we want to get closer to god that's all
01:33:06.680 since the tower you think that's it that's why that's why we need to get higher and higher
01:33:11.840 to try like we're trying to get closer we want to go to the deepest part of the ocean we want to go
01:33:18.300 to the highest point that we could possibly get but we cannot get to the third heaven isn't that
01:33:24.120 kind of though but uh dave isn't that kind of though like we have such curiosity as humans and
01:33:32.040 this uh this sense of of or need for exploration do you think that's part of it too i know what
01:33:39.680 it's all about, my man. Ever since they built the Tower of Babel, God said, they're going to get
01:33:45.300 there. They're going to get there. So he said, no, I'm not. He confused their language and then
01:33:50.500 scattered them and divided the earth. And we've been climbing ever since we got to the top of
01:33:55.240 Mount Everest, right? We found seashells up there. Wow. What's that? Now we've gone to the moon.
01:33:59.980 Now we're going to Mars. Isaiah said, Isaiah said that there was a nation that would mount up to
01:34:08.680 heaven and descend upon the clouds clearly the definition of a nation that discovered flight
01:34:14.460 we've been flying ever since but there's only do you think humans do you think humans with their
01:34:21.100 you know that this need to explore and and and go further do you think it's possible that we could
01:34:27.620 go to mars and how does that jibe with um the the fact that we were put here on this planet
01:34:34.900 uh by god how does how does that uh figure why were we put here well why if we go to mars doesn't
01:34:45.320 that kind of contradict the fact that we were put here on this planet to live our lives here
01:34:51.340 we're just look we're just looking for our creator just like in the star wars movie remember
01:34:56.140 remember when man melted with machine finally veger veger came back looking for star trek okay
01:35:02.940 star trek vijic kind of a juxtaposition there in a way we're not breaking any new ground here i
01:35:09.260 mean this has been something that people have toiled with for for many years but i appreciate
01:35:13.840 it dave thank you man i appreciate the call very cool thank here's uh this guy craig i don't know
01:35:21.040 if he's telling the truth if he thinks the earth is flat but i'm willing i'm willing craig atlanta
01:35:27.580 georgia what's up my friend yeah the earth is flat yeah yeah just like sue lightning was before
01:35:35.060 you got a hold of them oh he got me he got i don't know what he's talking about uh cj cj from
01:35:45.400 the great state just north of me north carolina what's up cj hey yeah i just gotta say anthony
01:35:53.720 I'm a huge fan.
01:35:55.400 I downloaded the app for this show.
01:35:57.600 I haven't missed an episode.
01:35:59.220 Jimmy was amazing last week.
01:36:00.940 Getting Nick on board.
01:36:02.940 Getting Nick was a great idea.
01:36:04.960 We've got to hear more from you guys.
01:36:06.580 Perfect voice to have on right now.
01:36:08.760 I'm going to get all those stupid comics from the O&A show.
01:36:12.020 Believe me.
01:36:14.400 We'll be here for it.
01:36:15.600 This is what we've been waiting for, all of us.
01:36:17.720 But I've got to say, with this space thing,
01:36:20.360 all anyone has to do to see the ridiculous the ridiculousness of this is look up and youtube
01:36:27.880 the interviews before and after she went before they interviewed her they asked hey what have you
01:36:34.420 what have you prepared for what are you looking forward to and i am not kidding you she says
01:36:39.460 well you know we're all made from stars and i can't wait to see them twinkle from up there
01:36:47.420 i'm not even kidding then when she gets back they ask hey what was it like up there and she says
01:36:53.920 you know it was really high up there and i can't i couldn't wait to get back to announce my world
01:37:01.300 my world tour who would have thought years ago when we watched that apollo program and everything
01:37:08.180 that it would just be some publicity stunt for some pop singer to announce her tour it's it's
01:37:15.860 hilarious but it's sort of disheartening in a way it kind of discounts the whole space program and
01:37:24.000 the sacrifices that were made by actual astronauts and technicians and whatnot at least their outfits
01:37:31.560 look good and hey just real quick before i go anthony great to talk to you i gotta say going
01:37:37.440 back to the medical marijuana thing that's one demographic uh it's one thing that makes those
01:37:43.380 big cities at least tolerable you think so that's one that's one group of people to leave it alone
01:37:50.880 leave it alone leave it alone all right leave it alone let's go buddy i get you thank you cj
01:37:56.260 thanks man you can't even walk around though a city without smelling weed everywhere and that
01:38:02.700 kind of used to be a thing i it's so weird because when you occasionally very rarely smelt weed
01:38:08.900 it was it was cool like oh oh i think i smell some weed someone might be smoking when it's
01:38:17.660 constant and just pungent it's like gasoline gotta be honest if i'm pumping gas and you get
01:38:25.560 a little whiff of gasoline there are some people that hate it but there i think most people they
01:38:32.060 don't mind a little whiff of gasoline but if it's all you're smelling in like insane quantities
01:38:38.460 it's gonna suck and i think pot's the same thing and with the legalization of weed um
01:38:45.360 it's just too much now it's just too much cannot take it uh let's see what do we got
01:38:55.380 lee uh cassius brooklyn brooklyn new york how you doing cassius hey hey good evening
01:39:04.760 happy easter how are you man good good um yeah the most disturbing thing to me about
01:39:11.600 katie perry and the ladies going up uh it was that like what what happened to katie's
01:39:18.220 giant breasts like she used to have these huge you know beautiful gazanga yeah and then that
01:39:27.900 the outfit they're wearing like all of a sudden like she's become very small breasted it's very
01:39:32.660 disturbing that was i think you know um i i heard tell uh buzz aldrin had very big breasts and in
01:39:40.340 the space suit it just kind of tucks him in so maybe uh it was working off the same principle
01:39:46.740 of right right no those things are so tight space suit shrinkage shrinkage those suits were so tight
01:39:55.600 on those girls if you look at some of the women that had already gone up um on the uh blue origin
01:40:03.580 ship uh it wasn't anything like that they were loose fitting they were comfortable they knew
01:40:09.460 they wanted to make these sexy outfits for the gals and it's a it's a travesty it's it's uh
01:40:16.440 it's a joke and i think i think it backfired uh tremendously i think bezos was trying to do a
01:40:23.800 publicity stunt and that's where the difference is between bezos and spacex uh spacex is doing
01:40:31.360 genuine science they're doing uh good for the world they're putting starlink satellites up
01:40:39.000 to get internet where you would never think they're right high speed internet on anywhere
01:40:43.340 on the globe and then this idiot is sending a pop singer up to what get uh uh her tour
01:40:50.940 uh publicity yeah promote promote the tour show the set list it was uh it was a joke and i think
01:40:58.060 it backfired because everyone saw it as that but it's kind of funny that we live in a time where
01:41:04.440 going technically into space we look at it and go yeah what a joke what a publicity stunt like
01:41:11.220 years ago would have been like oh my god that's amazing and now we just go meh meh what else
01:41:16.560 right and i i feel really bad for the other ladies who like nobody paid any attention to
01:41:22.480 when they came back they didn't give any speeches that anyone remembers you know
01:41:25.680 even when you're trying to push this this female empowerment thing there's even a hierarchy with
01:41:34.960 that and the pop star will always get the notoriety so funny right thank you the asian
01:41:41.420 gets ignored yeah oh yeah and she probably knew exactly what how how a rocket works how newton's
01:41:48.640 laws uh actually bring that vessel up into space i don't think katie knew that but right i love it
01:41:55.820 thanks cassius appreciate the call man oh my god a couple of more things going on there's a lot that
01:42:03.460 went on this week one of these things was um really this is really quick i'll just throw this
01:42:09.200 out there uh patten oswalt he decided that he is not going to host the white house correspondence
01:42:16.780 dinner um i don't know i think a lot of people are disappointed uh that he was chosen and he
01:42:24.720 decided oh wait oh if if they asked him okay what a pompous idiot this patten oswalt is
01:42:38.860 imagine putting out a statement that you are not going to accept a gig that has not been offered
01:42:47.540 to you i personally i'm not gonna play a quarterback for the jets next season i will not
01:43:00.220 accept being the qb for the jets i'd probably do better than anyone they do pick or have picked
01:43:06.460 but uh what kind of uh how do you how do you put a statement out like that
01:43:13.520 in all seriousness and i think he was serious i don't think this was
01:43:17.540 him being a comic about the whole thing but that is pretty uh pretty goddamn funny
01:43:25.460 uh one of my favorite stories of the week because i don't think a lot of people really got
01:43:32.280 what this was about dr oz dr oz was my little notes here dr oz went to the white house because
01:43:43.260 he was accepting um what did he get a swearing in ceremony for dr oz trump is giving some like
01:43:52.960 weird people these things like you're gonna be the department of healthy chocolate milk inspectors
01:44:01.800 it's just an odd odd thing trump's got going there um anyway dr oz was there to
01:44:09.460 get sworn in for something and he brought his granddaughter his whole family was there and
01:44:17.940 his granddaughter was there and uh let's see his granddaughter's doing fine after her medical scare
01:44:23.760 at the white house says her mom um she says president trump did a great job keeping her
01:44:31.320 kids calm Daphne Oz took to Instagram Sunday morning to share an update on her daughter
01:44:38.600 Philo Daphne Philo enough with these names what happened to Barbara Lisa and I don't know Betty
01:44:50.460 Philo who collapsed in the Oval Office as Dr. Oz is swearing in ceremony Daphne shared a series
01:44:59.960 of photos from the day showing her family dressed in their finest clothes outside the white house
01:45:05.140 as well as a snap where her kids are meeting president trump that's a big moment right there
01:45:10.400 in the caption daphne described her daughter's health thanking everyone who checked in on her
01:45:17.640 after a medical incident she fainted during the ceremony where oz was officially sworn in as
01:45:23.000 the administrator of the centers of medical and medicaid services
01:45:28.800 i think by the end of trump's term i will have some type of position in trump's uh cabinet or
01:45:41.820 you know like kind of like elon or dr oz anthony cobia you're fantastic the uh head of
01:45:51.860 communication for amplitude modulation radio just am so uh she thanked everyone she fainted
01:46:03.040 uh this kid's like how old is she nine or something she's a little kid it's terrible
01:46:09.760 daphne uh said phyla fainted nothing serious she got to enjoy some great food in the navy mess hall
01:46:18.660 all right scramble uh she shouted out the excellent white house medical as well as the
01:46:25.600 potus himself for going out of his way to make both our children feel comfortable in a stressed
01:46:31.360 a situation he was warm and okay well here's the part that i love it's the my favorite part
01:46:43.140 of this story by the way that hasn't really been talked about the kid fainted while donald trump
01:46:52.980 was talking about the horrific crimes that were committed by illegals so he's in the oval office
01:47:02.560 right and and the little filo little filo is uh standing there with her mom and dr oz and of
01:47:10.500 course trump just can't go dr oz you're gonna be head of the amazing medical ingrown toenail
01:47:19.300 sector of the medicine and but he can't just do that he's got to go well this terrible horrible
01:47:28.400 violent criminal down in el salvador you know how these illegals are and then he starts going
01:47:34.600 They grabbed a girl, they pinned her down, and he just starts some of the most graphic, horrific images in this poor child's head.
01:47:48.220 She was horrified.
01:47:51.020 She was terrified.
01:47:54.080 A girl much like little Philo, over there same age.
01:47:59.860 imagine if a big illegal alien came up to you a booga booga and just started grabbing you
01:48:07.560 the poor kid fainted at the prospect of these terrible terrible things happening
01:48:16.560 come on donald there's children in the oval office a lot of a lot of the times these days
01:48:24.780 i just thought that was a pure trump by the way he don't know i think the the parents
01:48:34.900 it's the parents responsibility to not take your kids into the oval office like that because trump
01:48:43.480 might say anything he might say anything we're gonna cut a nine-year-old girl's toes off mix
01:48:50.840 them up and ship them out to you're like why why you the kids the kids terrified there
01:48:56.720 but that's donald and uh yeah the parents you know the parents gotta know the parents have to
01:49:07.680 know not to bring their kids in there sandra from new jersey i hope it's authentic she believes the
01:49:14.760 world is indeed flat sandra well well well first let me say i'm a long time loyal caller so you
01:49:22.520 know that i know i've i've heard of you before you you call uh uh wabc radio in new york uh many
01:49:29.040 times that's correct and i i i do so i was listening to your conversation when i got home
01:49:35.380 from the lovely evening tonight for the holiday um you spoke about the world being flat versus
01:49:41.840 the world being round so what i picture going back way then millions of people some like they
01:49:49.380 no matter what trump does right they're never gonna never never gonna say it and then there's
01:49:55.040 the ones who think trump is right so that's probably the energy you know fighting the world
01:50:00.420 is round versus fighting the world is uh square just like now with trump you'll never never never
01:50:07.780 change their minds no matter what he does that is true right now you don't you don't believe the
01:50:13.480 world's flat though sandra do you no i think around like the moon like all the other like
01:50:19.040 things but you know what else i wanted to say anthony i skiing is something that i did in my
01:50:26.560 life did i like it not that much but one thing out of all my skiing outfits the one that i saved
01:50:33.620 to this day is a very sexy black very tight suit with the little fur on the hood everybody wants to
01:50:41.540 look good no matter what that's just my opinion sandra was that the the style in the 50s was that
01:50:47.040 no no this is not in the 50s no it doesn't matter you want to look good right all your life every
01:50:55.300 age every everybody wants to look their best but i think i think if it if an outfit has to be
01:51:02.060 utilitarian if you're not wearing a sexy if it has to be like a space outfit if you were really
01:51:08.360 an astronaut going to space i believe that if if you're able to have a sexy space outfit
01:51:14.660 you're not really an astronaut then you're not really doing that astronaut i hear what you're
01:51:20.540 saying i hear you too sandra i'm glad you called thank you dear there goes uh sandra
01:51:27.880 Sandra this is good
01:51:29.900 Joaquin from
01:51:31.900 Pennsylvania Joaquin
01:51:34.020 what part of Pennsylvania
01:51:35.920 you're from I live
01:51:38.120 in the Jim Thorpe area up in the Poconos
01:51:40.140 oh the guy that
01:51:41.900 ran right he was a runner
01:51:43.660 no actually he was
01:51:46.020 a multifaceted athlete as a matter
01:51:48.180 of fact I believe it was
01:51:50.140 what the heck
01:51:52.180 from Germany not of course Adolf
01:51:54.080 Philip prior to that anyway
01:51:56.100 he said that perhaps you are the greatest
01:51:58.020 athlete of all times. He excelled in football.
01:52:00.200 He excelled in every single sport. Did he lose
01:52:02.100 a leg?
01:52:04.060 No.
01:52:05.360 See, I'm thinking of someone else.
01:52:07.920 I don't know. Maybe later on in life,
01:52:09.920 possibly. Yeah, I think it might have been
01:52:11.960 later. So he was just an all-around
01:52:14.300 great athlete like myself.
01:52:16.420 Yeah, probably one of
01:52:18.160 the greatest in the world at the time.
01:52:19.980 He was actually of Native
01:52:21.060 American heritage.
01:52:23.840 And he happens to be buried here
01:52:25.920 in Jim Thorpe. That's why they changed Mott Chunk
01:52:28.140 to Jim Thorpe. It was Mott Chunk?
01:52:31.500 Yes.
01:52:32.140 A lot easier, Jim Thorpe.
01:52:34.680 Yes, well, they had the old jail
01:52:36.180 here that was on Mysteries
01:52:37.880 many years ago, where that
01:52:39.920 one guy from the Molly Maguire
01:52:42.040 trial thing was on there
01:52:44.100 and he put his fingerprint against the wall
01:52:45.760 and the fingerprint, they could never remove it.
01:52:47.980 Oh my God, that sounds...
01:52:49.320 They filmed the original Molly Maguire movie with Sean Connery
01:52:52.580 right here in Jim Thorpe.
01:52:54.340 Oh, well, you got a little
01:52:55.620 claim to fame there in Jim Thorpe.
01:52:58.000 A couple of claims to fame.
01:53:00.260 I'm actually an ex-Wallon Islander.
01:53:02.900 Oh, when did you
01:53:04.080 move? Back in the...
01:53:05.660 Just when Hillary moved in
01:53:07.880 and just before 9-11, 2001.
01:53:10.460 When Hillary became a
01:53:11.720 senator in New York State,
01:53:14.160 boy, that was a good cue
01:53:15.820 for everybody to leave.
01:53:18.480 Yes, it was.
01:53:19.520 Anyway, I had a thought
01:53:22.140 about Donald J. Trump,
01:53:23.680 terms three and four.
01:53:24.660 yep i think how does this work how does this work donald trump jr donald jr jr okay that
01:53:33.220 is legal but i mean they seem to be talking like donald trump senior donald j trump can uh run
01:53:42.560 for a third term they're trying to figure out a way uh but if you're saying it's don jr then
01:53:49.740 And, you know, ha ha, like a gag, like they tricked you kind of a thing.
01:53:53.400 OK, their heads would explode.
01:53:56.520 You know, and I have a number of a number of things I like to call apocalyptic Trojan
01:54:01.720 forces sent by leftist, communist, Marxist, globalist agenda to destroy the United States
01:54:07.460 of America and Judeo-Christian Western civilization, you know, and that's exactly what's going
01:54:12.920 on here.
01:54:13.260 And I like the way that you talk about the communists and you talk about the World Economic
01:54:16.480 Forum.
01:54:16.920 and you know all this talk recently about power with fed i actually think that the fed was actually
01:54:22.840 created to help drive the country off the cliff into the great depression and if you think about
01:54:27.540 it set there by the globalist agenda so you can't remove them so that you can't take them away when
01:54:33.100 this whole thing of raising interest rates you know is going to put the screws into the economy
01:54:37.680 i mean you think about with colbert and everything you know the printing of money and so now of
01:54:43.380 course gasoline prices were through the roof because of biden's policies and then they want
01:54:48.420 to raise interest rates and when they talk about taking money back out of the economy who are they
01:54:52.440 taking away from yeah the average everyday person yeah us of course that's kind of the way it's
01:55:00.540 always been the the thing about the fed i have tried so many times to watch some kind of documentary
01:55:09.260 about the fed and and how detrimental it is i can't find a lot of material on that whenever i
01:55:17.800 look i find what is the fed how did uh uh what when was it uh conceived and implemented but
01:55:26.000 they really seem to wipe out anything bad uh about the fed
01:55:31.640 it's with a lot of things and more and more that you try and look up online these days you know
01:55:38.100 Yeah, they're just getting rid of it, because it doesn't seem that good.
01:55:42.860 It doesn't seem like a good thing.
01:55:45.380 I don't know.
01:55:46.840 And, you know, when you wonder what's going to happen when Donald Trump leaves office, you know, in 28.
01:55:52.960 Right.
01:55:53.220 This is very scary, if you really think about it, because I'm going to put it this way, and this might make some people's heads explode.
01:55:58.880 Donald Trump and even Elon Musk, these guys are really a lot like the founding fathers, if you really think about it,
01:56:05.260 because they put their fortunes and they put their lives on the line.
01:56:08.440 And you look at what's been done to Donald Trump
01:56:10.300 and what's been done to Elon Musk.
01:56:12.460 I mean, they're going out of their way to destroy these two matters.
01:56:15.120 No one in American politics outside of the Founding Fathers
01:56:20.260 have been so threatened and villainized ever, ever.
01:56:27.480 Now, you know, I actually was banned from some radio stations in the past,
01:56:32.260 conservative radio stations.
01:56:34.100 Were you taking pictures in Times Square?
01:56:36.240 Is that what happened?
01:56:37.180 No, it wasn't.
01:56:39.100 It was a big name.
01:56:41.140 I go by my middle name now because my first name.
01:56:45.840 I was always back when the Russia collusion thing was going on.
01:56:48.840 I was calling and I was trying to explain how there was an establishment,
01:56:55.160 deep state establishment agenda that was actually trying to stop Donald Trump.
01:56:59.040 Because once he got elected and we had control of the House,
01:57:02.480 had control of Congress, somehow some astute chess player planned 10 moves ahead and put
01:57:07.060 Jeff Sessions in there so that he can recuse himself on the very first day that he's sworn
01:57:10.720 into office.
01:57:11.620 Yep, yep.
01:57:12.880 And there were a lot of people who didn't like that.
01:57:14.820 And there was another radio show that he was first coming on the air, took over for another
01:57:19.120 one.
01:57:19.560 And I got on his show almost every night.
01:57:21.320 And the producer, she enjoyed talking to me.
01:57:23.400 And she liked the things that I was saying.
01:57:25.260 And then one night, a voice came on while I was on hold and said, you know, the boss
01:57:29.880 doesn't like what you're saying.
01:57:30.960 And I said, oh, I thought you'd enjoy dancing with me.
01:57:33.440 And he goes, no, no, no, you don't understand.
01:57:35.760 He has bosses, and they don't like what you say.
01:57:39.940 Interesting.
01:57:41.940 More importantly, did you hook up with the call screener?
01:57:46.080 No, I did not.
01:57:47.400 I'm happily married for 43 years.
01:57:49.760 Oh, God bless.
01:57:51.060 God bless.
01:57:51.540 Joaquin, I'm going to catch so much hell for continuing to talk to you too long.
01:57:56.520 But I appreciate your call.
01:57:58.600 Thank you.
01:57:59.120 you know people get anthony that guy walkie why'd you leave him on the phone so long he started
01:58:06.100 talking about trying to get a piece from the yeah no i get it oh my god you people in new york
01:58:14.760 cuomo cuomo that's who's going to be running for the mayor of new york the mayoral election
01:58:27.700 now you voted in Adams and this guy was a complete waste of time complete waste of time
01:58:40.320 he got in there he gets an administration that is so corrupt and New York fell into more of a
01:58:52.380 A spiral of decay from de Blasio.
01:58:57.800 Remember who he took over for?
01:59:00.660 De Blasio.
01:59:02.000 This guy was the worst.
01:59:04.920 I think you could put him as the worst mayor of New York ever.
01:59:09.040 De Blasio.
01:59:11.000 Adams is bad, but at least they were able to catch him doing something bad.
01:59:17.520 And he got indicted or he was ready to get indicted.
01:59:21.060 And the DOJ under Trump after the election dropped the charges, thus taking over the mayorship of New York City.
01:59:33.020 Now they could do whatever they want. Adams will do whatever the Trump administration says.
01:59:39.180 He's a puppet now.
01:59:40.560 but his time is uh limited here and it looks like cuomo uh might just get this which is terrible
01:59:54.080 i mean really we saw how he was as the governor and that that was not good
02:00:02.440 no more of these midnight signings of legislation to take away your second amendment rights
02:00:09.060 the safe act all that nonsense so who who are you voting for people who are you gonna vote for
02:00:19.400 really is is it gonna be cuomo you're gonna do it aren't you you're not gonna want
02:00:30.380 a Republican in there
02:00:33.000 to maybe
02:00:34.940 just shake it up a little
02:00:37.180 bit, New York. Come on.
02:00:40.160 Roll the dice,
02:00:41.520 New York City.
02:00:43.680 What are you doing?
02:00:49.960 We'll be right back
02:00:51.720 in a minute or so.

02:01:29.680 Government of Ontario.
02:01:35.100 It's the Anthony Cumia Show
02:01:37.440 on the Red Apple Podcast
02:01:39.820 Network.
02:01:41.800 The Anthony Cumia Show.
02:01:47.080 You know, talking about
02:01:49.740 the mayoral
02:01:50.680 race in
02:01:53.280 New York City,
02:01:54.680 um andrew cuomo you know he's he's the big money guy he's the guy got the cash got the name
02:02:03.080 got the nipple rings got the women you know even after all the sexual harassment charges
02:02:12.780 allegations uh and then during covid i mean remember when he came out and he had a big
02:02:21.400 uh a whole wall behind him and it was covered with masks and apparently people and children
02:02:29.780 had made masks and sent them to the governor's office and said please uh we know that there's
02:02:38.800 a mask shortage could you use these children made them in school and what and they stapled
02:02:45.640 them to a big wall behind
02:02:47.640 Cuomo and he's like
02:02:49.000 these are the mask
02:02:51.480 kids made and they're amazing
02:02:53.840 and
02:02:55.520 we're so happy that it's like
02:02:57.240 I think they wanted
02:02:59.640 people to use them
02:03:00.980 which would have been stupid anyway
02:03:03.400 just as worthless as
02:03:05.740 stapling them to a wall
02:03:07.480 we all understood that
02:03:10.100 well not all
02:03:11.760 of us but most of
02:03:13.760 us understood the mask thing was just such utter nonsense but uh uh cuomo uh he made it through
02:03:26.120 that without going to jail for some reason the the covet thing the the dead old people
02:03:32.640 the sexual harassment allegations and now he's running for mayor now look at a guy like curtis
02:03:43.180 leeway he he's a decent guy he's a good guy he likes cats i love cats he's he's a republican
02:03:53.280 he's not one of these liberal uh that just have destroyed the state and the city for so long
02:04:01.860 why wouldn't you give him a try to pull the pull the lever in the voting booth go i don't know
02:04:08.420 let me give him a try look back at everyone else over the past few elections have they made the
02:04:16.840 city a better place no then maybe change something switch it up a little but no they'll put cuomo in
02:04:27.360 there i hope they don't and i love curtis and i hope some weirdness happens and and he gets in but
02:04:34.600 But, you know, you got a name, you're going to get elected.
02:04:38.760 That's just how it works.
02:04:40.300 It's a shame.
02:04:42.660 So New York taxpayers, by the way, that's me during that time when I was up there,
02:04:48.620 and it's you if you're listening in New York, are on the hook for $450,000.
02:04:55.740 Now, what is this for?
02:04:57.380 Roadwork?
02:04:57.920 That'd be nice.
02:04:58.620 Fix some potholes.
02:04:59.640 Maybe a bridge that was rotting away underneath, and before it collapsed,
02:05:03.920 they uh they fixed it uh-uh your 450 000 went to a settlement so uh mario uh mario look at me
02:05:18.260 i'm thinking of his dad andrew andrew cuomo could uh slip slip away slide from a sexual harassment
02:05:29.880 charge so we had this sexual harassment accuser with the state months ahead of the mayoral primary
02:05:38.780 this is this is happening now so a former state employee who accused andrew cuomo of sexually
02:05:46.300 harassment uh sexual harassment clinched a just about a half a million four hundred fifty thousand
02:05:52.720 settlement with taxpayers set to foot the massive bill as the former government the governor makes
02:06:00.160 a comeback bid for new york city mayor how does anyone vote for this guy your money you just paid
02:06:13.340 money to settle a sexual harassment suit against andrew cuomo and you're gonna just go yeah okay
02:06:26.100 he could screw around and sexually harass a woman and believe me this isn't the only accusation
02:06:35.380 and you're just gonna vote for him this should be well we're done i guess i guess he loses right
02:06:42.940 that's it but no charlotte bennett who served as an assistant to cuomo when he was governor
02:06:51.720 officially ended a long-running lawsuit friday against the empire state she is slated to receive
02:06:58.660 100 000 personally with another 350 000 earmarked for her lawyers and legal costs by the way
02:07:08.600 that's a whole nother thing and oh my god these lawyers man if there was ever a villain that
02:07:22.640 everyone hates it it's lawyers you get 450 000 in a settlement and i don't even care whatever
02:07:33.900 it's for and and the lawyers get 350 000 and you get 100 000 that's brutal that is brutal
02:07:46.860 the scandal plagued cuomo's uh various bids to clear his name have been costly for new yorkers
02:07:55.280 for us or you guys i i left but i had i had to foot some of the bill
02:08:00.240 as oh boy as of march taxpayers had shelled out nearly 60 million in legal costs to defend
02:08:10.620 against various scandals that embroiled the cuomo administration according to a report by the state
02:08:17.780 comptroller's office 60 million dollars
02:08:24.040 you does anyone even have to think in that voting booth to pull that lever for for andrew cuomo
02:08:36.620 the taxpayers shelled out 60 million in legal fees hey maybe you could shell out more when he's the
02:08:50.600 mayor maybe you could do some other things and you could take that tax money that might have
02:08:56.340 gone to transit or the police department to make it safer anything except cleaning up his
02:09:05.920 disgusting mess no all right vote for him have fun uh the tab to defend cuomo and the state
02:09:19.040 against uh barrett's claims ran upward of nine million dollars and a total of 14.3 million was
02:09:28.760 approved had she not settled i i hope you're hearing this people so the settlement is for
02:09:40.240 450 000 350 of which goes to the lawyers 100 goes to ms bennett but the case itself
02:09:52.540 And the money that the state had put away for this particular indiscretion from Mr. Cuomo, Governor Cuomo, was $14.3 million.
02:10:12.120 Oh, my God.
02:10:16.880 Wow.
02:10:18.820 Wow.
02:10:19.820 she filed suit against the state in march 23 uh alleging it failed to act to address her
02:10:27.680 complaint that cuomo subjected her to degrading sexual harassment on the job and accused her of
02:10:35.680 lying when she came forward with the accusations as part of the settlement bennett who worked as
02:10:42.840 a top assistant and health policy advisor to cuomo agreed not to seek future employment
02:10:49.260 in the state executive chamber they make all kinds of deals all they got to do is sign a
02:10:57.360 piece of paper they get a bunch of money and cuomo's running for mayor didn't am i am i
02:11:07.320 am i mistaken here or didn't stuff like this used to end political careers this was something that
02:11:16.220 i believe years ago if something happened you were done go be a pundit on on tv or
02:11:24.640 open a car dealership the settlement gives bennett a lump sum payout 40 grand for post
02:11:34.320 traumatic stress disorder look here's another thing you know your pal anthony here i don't buy
02:11:41.340 any of this nonsense uh what kind of ptsd is she getting she probably stood around and he
02:11:50.980 uh was a little touchy-feely maybe and then it's 40 grand post-traumatic and then
02:12:00.620 uh stress disorder and narcolepsy 35 000
02:12:06.720 and emotional distress wow and by the way all these numbers are pennies pennies compared to
02:12:18.460 like where did all the where did the 14.3 million dollars go and the 9 million they put away 14.3
02:12:26.180 okay but they used 9 million this girl got like 40 grand and then 35 grand for something else
02:12:36.120 all that money where did that go i bet those people that got that money
02:12:43.520 are giving it right back to cuomo for his mayoral run it's a kickback stop let's be real here
02:12:55.440 this is disgusting and you know like i said people will they will vote for him
02:13:05.020 they'll get in there and go
02:13:07.040 I've heard his name
02:13:09.220 wasn't he the governor
02:13:11.240 vote for Curtis
02:13:14.720 give it a try
02:13:16.720 I'm not even saying this because
02:13:19.220 of ABC or anything I'm like
02:13:20.880 why wouldn't you try something
02:13:23.120 different it's the Trump effect
02:13:24.880 you got Donald Trump
02:13:27.100 he came in
02:13:28.000 people were like
02:13:29.660 well he doesn't have political experience
02:13:32.960 he's not this he's not that
02:13:34.480 It's different than the criminals that we've had in office.
02:13:42.680 Maybe you could go in a subway and not be smashed over the head with a brick
02:13:49.240 if someone else is running the show.
02:13:55.060 Maybe.
02:13:56.060 I don't know.
02:14:00.940 Unbelievable.
02:14:02.060 Unbelievable.
02:14:03.400 Larry.
02:14:04.560 Larry from the Isle of Staten.
02:14:08.160 What is up, my friend?
02:14:09.380 You want to talk about the great Andrew Cuomo?
02:14:12.120 Larry, what's up?
02:14:13.940 Hey, Big Anthony.
02:14:15.220 Happy Easter to you and your family and all of us.
02:14:18.180 Thank you, my friend.
02:14:20.580 Let's just say one thing.
02:14:22.720 Let's start off with you stole my thunder regarding Curtis Lewa.
02:14:27.740 The man's a champion.
02:14:28.880 uh uh let's look let's retrospect back uh when david dinkins was the mayor and hold on hold on
02:14:39.060 larry do you talk about post-traumatic stress you bringing up david dinkins as mayor brought back i
02:14:47.800 i just got like uh uh agita i got agita david dinkins the washroom attendant there
02:14:58.940 Oh, anyway, yes.
02:15:00.620 Now, my point being is we severely needed a time of change,
02:15:07.300 and that change was Rudolph W. Giuliani.
02:15:10.480 Well, of course.
02:15:11.400 So you talk about it's time for a change.
02:15:15.620 Yes, it is.
02:15:16.740 This guy here is a monster.
02:15:20.040 All these people who lost their lives in nursing homes.
02:15:25.820 and then calling the ice a bunch of thugs.
02:15:31.220 What are these people in New York City thinking?
02:15:34.460 They'll vote him in.
02:15:36.040 I hate it.
02:15:37.200 I want Curtis.
02:15:38.780 I want him to win.
02:15:40.540 And they will vote for Cuomo.
02:15:44.140 I know it.
02:15:44.880 I hate that I know it.
02:15:46.520 But this is what they do.
02:15:48.220 They're like masochists, Larry.
02:15:50.380 They just want to go into that voting booth,
02:15:52.820 pull the handle, and be crapped on for another term
02:15:58.180 by one of the worst people that could possibly run the city?
02:16:05.340 Well, listen, Big Ant, we've got to see.
02:16:08.180 There's a massive change in the city.
02:16:11.140 We need a change right now.
02:16:13.660 And Curtis Slewa is that man.
02:16:16.020 I think so.
02:16:17.220 Everybody, raise your money.
02:16:19.420 Give them a dollar, $5, 50 cents.
02:16:22.820 Just support him. Word of mouth.
02:16:27.040 Whatever. Tell people, like, what are you voting for?
02:16:29.540 The same garbage that gets your head smashed with a lead pipe
02:16:33.460 or pushed in front of a subway train?
02:16:35.780 Is that the administration we want in there as mayor to continue?
02:16:40.900 We want people to be murdered and assaulted on the streets
02:16:45.680 and criminals being released back out onto the streets.
02:16:51.440 No, we don't.
02:16:52.440 But they'll do it.
02:16:53.820 I hate to say it, Larry.
02:16:55.240 Thank you, Larry.
02:16:56.120 Thank you for the phone call.
02:16:59.220 It's just terrible.
02:17:02.140 Lefty in Bayonne.
02:17:04.280 Lefty.
02:17:05.180 You can tell it's the New York, New Jersey segment of the program.
02:17:10.220 Lefty, what's up, my friend?
02:17:13.240 Anthony, long-time ONA listener, first-time caller.
02:17:17.520 Whack, whack.
02:17:20.080 The station you're on, I love it.
02:17:22.220 I listen to it all day, every day, for years.
02:17:24.760 Very happy to hear that, Harry.
02:17:27.000 Well, this station, every DJ stigmatizes medical cannabis.
02:17:32.600 I'm a medical patient here in New Jersey.
02:17:34.340 Oh, okay.
02:17:35.060 Give me the lowdown, brah.
02:17:39.140 Every DJ on this station stigmatizes the smell of it.
02:17:44.000 Now, how do you know that you're smelling?
02:17:46.100 You're not smelling a disabled vet smoking cannabis for PTSD or a cancer patient or someone with MS.
02:17:51.720 you got a lot of sick people in there in new york and here in new york in new york at least

02:18:20.640 or any of my other medications that I need to take at my age
02:18:25.240 for blood pressure or cholesterol,
02:18:27.240 I don't walk down the street and just pop them in my mouth and take a swig.
02:18:30.800 I do that at home to remedy my medical issues that I have.
02:18:37.100 I just can't take a medicine seriously if you smoke it
02:18:42.760 while you're walking around with families and children
02:18:45.600 as they're looking at the Empire State Building or the M&M store in Times Square.
02:18:50.640 well where are they supposed to go to smoke it because it's home do it at home for god's sake

02:19:17.200 leave your house it just seems like a lot of people are smoking a lot of pot on the streets
02:19:22.280 and they they don't seem to be people doing it for medical issues i'm not a doctor i play one on

02:23:37.800 the time because she doesn't like my driving and we go out to go shopping and she's the chauffeur
02:23:42.920 and i'll hit that weed the whole time i'm a little vape and nobody smells a thing dude you
02:23:47.840 And there's no arguments.
02:23:49.380 Everything's great.
02:23:51.020 All right.
02:23:51.860 You never fight with the old lady, you know?
02:23:53.880 I'm going to completely change the subject here.
02:23:59.240 Sure.
02:23:59.600 But it involves what you said.
02:24:01.860 I do the same thing.
02:24:03.260 I don't drive unless I have to drive somewhere myself.
02:24:06.840 My girl drives.
02:24:08.380 That's the way to roll.
02:24:09.180 But how many times, like pulling into a parking space,
02:24:14.500 do you go like,
02:24:14.980 you like make noises and they go what what are you saying why are you why are you mad at me
02:24:22.040 dude the invisible brake pedal is a great right it's frightening i swear to you yeah there are
02:24:29.500 times i'm like i'll see a yellow light and i'll be like you don't want to go stop because then
02:24:36.180 they yell so i'll just make a noise you don't want to say anything though because it's then
02:24:39.560 creating the argument all hell breaks loose yes all hell breaks loose i don't know i'm never gonna
02:24:46.020 hear the end of it and by the way this is only because there isn't a good car out these days
02:24:53.580 i would buy a good car i bought the mustang the years ago i bought the oh yeah i know yeah
02:24:59.040 dude i've been looking around for a car because i don't want i don't want my girl driving me around
02:25:06.260 I want to drive myself, but I don't want to drive the GMC around and stuff.
02:25:13.380 And I'm just like, yeah, drive, you drive, whatever.
02:25:15.980 And then I find myself, yeah, with the invisible brake pedal and stuff.
02:25:19.160 But I cannot find a good car.
02:25:21.820 There's nothing now that I see that I go, God, I want that.
02:25:25.660 Listen, well, here's the deal.
02:25:27.640 Listen, I was called before all this stuff went down.
02:25:30.860 I was called every name in the book by every liberal ever.
02:25:34.020 Gay?
02:25:34.640 Yep.
02:25:35.080 Oh, yeah.
02:25:35.780 Oh, yeah.
02:25:36.260 I was taking it all over my face, buddy.
02:25:39.260 All right.
02:25:40.520 Yeah.
02:25:41.120 So all this stuff happened.
02:25:42.580 Now, all of a sudden, what happened now?
02:25:44.760 Because my wife drives a Model Y, Tesla.
02:25:48.300 And guess what?
02:25:49.280 I don't have to do brakes on it.
02:25:50.920 I don't have to do oil changes.
02:25:53.600 You got to try one, man.
02:25:55.400 No, ain't going to happen.
02:25:56.800 I want internal combustion, vroom, vroom sounding motors.
02:26:02.300 Here's the screwy thing, dude.
02:26:03.480 That's my cars.
02:26:04.460 That's my cars.
02:26:05.120 The old lady drives the electric, okay?
02:26:07.240 If your buddies...
02:26:07.960 You know, I got to have my gas and my pops and bangs, you know, my turbos.
02:26:11.920 Jay, when your buddies find out that your girl drives you around, you catch some crap, right?
02:26:18.580 Actually, I don't because they don't want to drive either.
02:26:21.160 Well, they're probably gay, too, like you.
02:26:23.700 Okay, Jay, awesome call.
02:26:25.720 You get hammered up, man.
02:26:26.600 I appreciate it.
02:26:27.440 Go ahead.
02:26:27.780 You're the last call of the evening.
02:26:30.140 Thank you, my friend.
02:26:31.800 I think he was might have been a little naughty on the language.
02:26:35.580 I'm not sure.
02:26:37.280 I was trying to drown him out a little bit.
02:26:39.160 But.
02:26:40.580 Oh, my God.
02:26:41.620 All right.
02:26:41.920 Here we go.
02:26:42.580 I got to go to my shoes.
02:26:43.680 Yeah.
