00:03:21.820 The options are plentiful as almost every major corporation has fully dedicated themselves to venerating America's new state religion

00:03:33.700 But the long-term success of these boycotts requires focus,
00:03:37.800 and the instinct to identify and include the next big woke corporation threatens to end the effort before it has even begun.

00:05:57.540 a fast food restaurant beloved by conservatives for their promotion of Christian values,
00:06:02.000 had a vice president in charge of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

00:06:08.100 has pledged to embed the DEI agenda into everything the corporation does.
00:06:12.300 Some will point out that both corporations have shown sympathy for leftist social causes in the past,
00:06:18.800 and that makes these developments unsurprising.
00:06:21.360 But it's important to understand the much deeper structural cause
00:06:24.660 that drives even the most conservative company to enact these policies.
00:06:29.300 Jeremy Boring of The Daily Wire seemed to inadvertently highlight the problem
00:06:33.640 while discussing a controversy surrounding the television show The Chosen on Twitter.
00:06:38.280 The Chosen is a popular series depicting the life of Jesus
00:06:42.360 and has gained a large fan base of conservative Christians.
00:06:46.480 The show recently drew unwanted press, however,
00:06:49.100 after footage revealed a pride flag which had been displayed by one of the employees on set.
00:06:55.180 Boring correctly pointed out that while the makers of the show may disagree with the employee,
00:07:00.620 labor and civil rights law prohibits the company from refusing to hire individuals based on those views.
00:07:06.220 Similarly, attempting to reprimand or terminate the employee for displaying such a flag at work
00:07:12.880 would trigger a multi-million dollar lawsuit and enough bad press to end the production.
00:07:18.160 The very same laws should protect Christians in theory,
00:07:21.600 but in practice, companies can and do refuse to hire employees
00:07:25.900 who vocally support traditional views on marriage or sexuality.
00:07:30.020 Corporations also regularly put existing employees through struggle sessions
