00:00:30.420 Every year for the last decade, June has begun with a flurry of progressive propaganda

00:00:34.680 as corporations, non-profits, and government organizations kicked off their Pride Month celebrations.

00:00:41.200 Social media accounts draped their logos in the colors of the rainbow,

00:00:44.980 employees sat through monotonous presentations on the importance of inclusion,

00:00:49.380 and every public space was jam-packed with the iconography of the new state religion.

00:00:54.900 But this year, the Pride Month rollout has been remarkably muted,

00:00:58.660 with some of the loudest corporate proponents suddenly dropping the celebration entirely.

00:01:03.340 Conservatives finally embraced the culture war, 0.68

00:01:06.220 showing a willingness to address the issue head-on and wield power in pursuit of their values.

00:01:12.060 And of course, now that the right has finally built cultural momentum,

00:01:15.600 a new crowd of subversive naysayers has risen to lecture conservatives about the dangers of winning.

00:01:21.940 And it's our duty to ignore them.

00:01:23.880 In his 1992 speech, Pat Buchanan coined the phrase,

00:01:28.400 the culture war, warning that if Republicans didn't take the battle for the soul of the nation seriously,

00:01:34.180 they would lose everything else that they held dear.

00:01:37.300 Buchanan was promptly ignored,

00:01:39.060 and instead the party focused on tax cuts and fighting wars in the Middle East.

00:01:43.360 The moral majority of the 1970s and 80s was seen as an embarrassing relic to be discarded

00:01:49.020 in favor of issues that performed more strongly in the polls like gun rights and economic growth.

00:01:54.480 The culture war was portrayed as an electoral albatross,

00:01:57.480 advanced mainly by hectoring church ladies and embarrassing televangelists. 0.68

00:02:01.860 The electoral future of the right lay in a strange fusion of neoconservative economic and foreign policy,

00:02:08.280 with a more libertarian approach to social issues like gay marriage.

00:02:12.980 Nature abhors a vacuum,

00:02:14.560 and it turns out that if you withdraw all Christian influence from the public square,

00:02:18.540 something else takes its place.

00:02:20.600 Republicans may have abandoned the culture war out of embarrassment,

00:02:24.020 but progressives continued to advance on all fronts.

00:02:27.400 With little to no public opposition,

00:02:29.540 queer activists were able to convince educational institutions,

00:02:33.140 corporations, and eventually even the military to join in in the new American Ramadan. 0.65

00:02:38.280 At first, it took significant pressure,

00:02:40.480 but as these organizations filled their ranks with radical activists,

00:02:44.700 freshly graduated from universities,

00:02:47.100 the perverse new faith became part of their structure.

00:02:50.920 Blessedly, this religious revolution pushed too hard and too fast, 1.00

00:02:55.520 triggering what little remained of the population's disgust mechanism.

00:02:59.100 The change didn't come from Republican leadership or conservative talking heads, 0.98

00:03:03.920 most of which were just abject cowards, 0.99

00:03:06.100 but from parents. 0.94

00:03:07.480 The LGBTQ movement has always targeted children with propaganda, 1.00

00:03:11.680 but was generally more careful about actually calling for the children to engage in the lifestyle.

00:03:17.380 Once transsexual ideology invaded schools and children started mutilating themselves, 1.00

00:03:22.320 parents could no longer pretend the culture war was just some irrelevant embarrassment pushed by televangelists.

00:03:28.440 Fathers had to face the real prospect of their daughters being beaten bloody during a sports match, 0.69

00:03:34.880 or even being sexually assaulted by a boy pretending to be a girl in a bathroom.

00:03:39.820 Mothers had to fear their sons might decide life would be easier as a girl,

00:03:44.240 and that the state would take their children and force a transition if the parents disapproved.

00:03:49.080 This is no longer about low taxes and free trade.

00:03:52.040 This was an existential battle for the soul of the nation's children,

00:03:56.280 just as Pat Buchanan warned it would be.

00:03:58.520 What's better than a well-marbled ribeye sizzling on the barbecue?

00:04:02.760 A well-marbled ribeye sizzling on the barbecue that was carefully selected by an Instacart shopper

00:04:08.320 and delivered to your door.

00:04:09.900 A well-marbled ribeye you ordered without even leaving the kiddie pool.

00:04:14.360 Whatever groceries your summer calls for, Instacart has you covered.

00:04:18.500 Download the Instacart app and enjoy $0 delivery fees on your first three orders.

00:04:22.880 Service fees, exclusions, and terms apply.

00:04:26.060 Instacart. Groceries that over-deliver.

00:04:29.360 Once GOP politicians and commentators saw parental protests and popular backlash

00:04:34.880 against the excesses of the gender revolution,

00:04:38.040 they decided it was time to jump in and benefit from the populist wave.

00:04:42.500 Boycotts were instituted, protests were organized,

00:04:45.200 and for once, companies and local governments felt the pressure of sustained

00:04:49.340 and effective political action from the right.

00:04:51.920 Some politicians, like Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida,

00:04:55.820 even took the radical step of using power, get this,

00:04:59.420 to defend the interests of his voters,

00:05:02.660 passing legislation and issuing executive orders

00:05:05.260 that stripped the ideology out of public schools

00:05:08.100 and protecting the safety of children.

00:05:10.580 Crazy, I know.

00:05:12.380 This, of course, horrified several establishment conservative outlets

00:05:16.300 who claimed that using power violated conservative principles of small government.

00:05:21.180 It also proved to be incredibly popular

00:05:23.300 and inspired several other politicians to follow suit.

00:05:27.080 This June, we saw a radically different opening to Pride Month.

00:05:31.120 With the Trump administration in power,

00:05:33.120 there were no more government or military celebrations declaring the gender revolution.

00:05:39.080 Major corporations who had been on the forefront of pushing the LGBTQ agenda,

00:05:44.000 like Target, Starbucks, and Disney,

00:05:46.420 chose not to participate in the ritual queering of their corporate logo on social media.

00:05:51.480 To be clear, there are still plenty of organizations that went through the humiliation ritual,

00:05:57.280 though interestingly, professional sports organizations like Major League Baseball

00:06:01.280 were the most enthusiastic participants.

00:06:04.200 It would seem that the corporations designed to cater to Red America are the biggest holdouts, 0.99

00:06:09.780 likely due to their hatred for the customers that they actually serve.

00:06:13.720 While this victory is very encouraging,

00:06:17.560 it's important to not become complacent.

00:06:20.460 Conservatives have won real battles in the culture war,

00:06:23.420 but it's far from over.

00:06:25.280 Progressive ideology is still deeply embedded in the majority of our institutions

00:06:29.860 and even our legal code.

00:06:31.660 There's still plenty of work that remains to be done.

00:06:34.760 The problem with populist energy is that it's rarely organized

00:06:38.260 and dissipates quickly after a few battles.

00:06:40.720 The momentum is on our side, but true victory will require a sustained and organized effort.

00:06:47.560 As Pat Buchanan said in his famous speech,

00:06:50.200 quote,

00:06:51.060 Greater love than this hath no man than that he lay down his life for his friend.

00:06:56.560 Here were 19-year-old boys ready to lay down their lives to stop a mob

00:07:00.900 from molesting old people they didn't even know.

00:07:03.500 And as those boys took back the streets of Los Angeles,

00:07:07.220 block by block, my friends, we must take back our cities and take back our culture 0.99

00:07:12.460 and take back our country, end quote.

00:07:15.480 This is why the current effort to subvert the recent success of the conservative movement is so concerning.

00:07:22.660 The Republican establishment never liked Trump or the populism he represented.

00:07:27.160 GOP politicians and pundits wanted to collect fat checks,

00:07:31.920 talking about safe issues,

00:07:33.700 not fighting a sustained battle on the most critical topics of our time.

00:07:38.200 There is already an attempt to label anyone who uses power to fight the culture war

00:07:43.500 and promote Christian values as the woke right,

00:07:46.900 in the hopes of returning to a safe and ineffectual version of neoconservatism.

00:07:51.880 These institutional saboteurs are hoping to put MAGA back in the box

00:07:56.520 so Republican voters can be safely milked for cash again,

00:08:00.300 while progressives surge back into cultural control.

00:08:03.800 The good news is that the efforts of these weak and malicious actors are failing.

00:08:09.060 Conservatives have finally discovered that winning is an option

00:08:12.400 and power is not something to be abandoned to our enemies.

00:08:15.920 The road ahead is still long and will require a sustained and organized effort,

00:08:20.440 but the culture war is a battle that can be won.

00:08:23.840 Block by block, we will take back our culture and our country, 1.00

00:08:27.600 protecting our children and ensuring a brighter tomorrow.
