00:00:13.780 hey everybody how's it going thanks for joining me this afternoon i've got a great stream with

00:00:18.820 a great guest that i think you're really going to enjoy everyone is freaking out because surprise

00:00:23.820 surprise new york city is probably going to elect an even more radical left-wing mayor somebody

00:00:29.240 who is a muslim socialist if you're surprised at all then well what can i tell you they weren't

00:00:35.220 going to put the woke away and of course we're also going to be discussing the supreme court's

00:00:39.580 new ruling discussing uh donald trump's executive order in an attempt to end a birthright citizenship

00:00:46.560 it's a huge win for trump though it's not a complete victory we'll dive into the details of that

00:00:51.460 joining me today to talk about this is a man whose work we can all appreciate he of course came up with

00:00:56.140 the iphone the ipad the ipod the imac young steve jobs thank you so much for stealing credit from

00:01:03.280 steve al-osniak thank you aaron uh what can i say there's few things better in life than seeing a

00:01:09.900 good idea stealing it and then becoming massively wealthy off the back of it and you know what

00:01:14.320 i've decided to take my my billions of apple dollars and uh become a niche internet micro celebrity

00:01:21.160 to be fair i think that's kind of ultimately what mark zuckerberg would have wanted to do you know

00:01:26.680 that's like the transition he's trying to make right like yeah i'm just a dude bro who cares if i own

00:01:32.080 just a normal guy right yeah yeah exactly just a normal non-lizard human right well jay burton is back

00:01:38.960 with us today guys so we are going to dive into the issues so like i said we have this guy and i'm going

00:01:45.280 to pronounce his wrong his name wrong multiple times and i don't care it's uh zohran memdani uh he

00:01:52.020 is uh he was running against of course the former governor andrew cuomo in this new york city mayor's

00:01:58.460 race it's the primary going into the general election now the current mayor eric adams will be running as

00:02:04.660 an independent and really his big problem is just the disaster that new york has become not that it

00:02:10.500 wasn't trending that way before he got into office but it's only gotten worse under his control and

00:02:16.500 he's got a 67 disapproval rating which is a pretty good sign he might not make it against the new

00:02:23.380 candidate uh but he also has a 76 percent uh of respondents in a poll agreed uh that he is corrupt

00:02:31.340 and should not run again so i do like that there's uh what like a nine point difference of people who say

00:02:37.140 he's corrupt and shouldn't run again but they don't necessarily disapprove uh i really enjoy

00:02:41.140 it's new york right at a certain point if you've lived there for long enough you're probably just 0.99

00:02:46.680 resigned to it like yeah sure he's corrupt and awful but he's our corrupt awful politician 0.91

00:02:51.140 yeah it really is the most new york of all poll results and probably leads you to understand 0.74

00:02:56.840 why the city isn't exactly the state that it's in uh but a lot of people are kind of getting

00:03:02.160 outraged at the selection of this guy because again as a lot of people again understandably uh

00:03:08.640 believed coming off of kind of the woke radical uh part of the democratic party driving everybody crazy

00:03:15.600 pushing everything to the edge of insanity clearly making the democratic brand toxic among a large

00:03:21.280 segment of america a lot of people believe that the elites would put the woke away and cuomo to be fair 0.59

00:03:27.360 is an effort to do that right i mean he's not exactly a a doctrinaire centrist but at least he

00:03:33.200 represents the establishment version of the party something that's not going to be completely insane

00:03:38.800 most of the time and uh it's very clear that he was rejected by the voters and instead they picked

00:03:45.040 this guy who is a card-carrying socialist he is a uh both a muslim and a socialist though we can see

00:03:52.000 that he's going to be a leftist before he's a muslim here in a moment a lot of people are

00:03:57.040 focusing on the islamic portion of it okay this guy is he's a muslim he he wants the global intivada

00:04:03.120 he's a palestinian uh promoter you know he's pro-palestinian these things clearly we're worried

00:04:08.480 about this muslim invasion of new york now don't get me wrong i don't think uh muslims should be 1.00

00:04:13.040 allowed to hold office in the united states i don't think they should be coming into the united states

00:04:17.360 this is a christian country and that's really what we should be promoting inside the united states

00:04:22.400 however i'm not really worried that this guy is going to be a muslim first and foremost because

00:04:27.600 a lot of his tweets are talking about how uh trans rights are the most important thing i guess you

00:04:33.200 could look at iran and its solution to homosexuality and say maybe that is pro-islam but in general it's

00:04:38.880 very clear that this guy is a progressive first and the islam thing is just part of the intersectional

00:04:44.320 mix well definitely and look i understand the rancor right i would not want to live in a city

00:04:53.040 headed up by a muslim fine all right maybe this is different if you are in a muslim country but

00:04:59.680 america is not the muslim population of america is incredibly new and i think one of the relevant 1.00

00:05:04.800 factors about this is unless i'm incorrect he has been a u.s citizen for only eight years a very very

00:05:11.680 short amount of time and so even if he's not necessarily shall we say uh you know a hobby

00:05:18.480 right some sort of violent muslim extremist there's a very real concern of why is this guy here and why

00:05:24.160 is he the presumptive leader of the largest most important city in america right the center of global 0.88

00:05:30.800 finance and look uh i'll be honest i have much more objections to his leftism than his relative muslimness

00:05:41.120 just because he isn't particularly devout but at the same time each one of these are very real

00:05:46.800 concerns and so even if it's not necessarily shall we say the the primary thing on the triage list it's

00:05:51.760 still a very real concern yeah a little bit of background for those who aren't familiar so this

00:05:57.040 guy is an indian his or his father is he's of indian uh ethnicity his father is indian but he was born

00:06:03.120 in uganda actually uh so he spent the first few years of his life in uganda and then his family moved to

00:06:09.360 south africa for a time they moved to the united states when he was seven years old but as you say

00:06:13.920 i believe he's recently actually not naturalized hasn't been uh naturalized as u.s citizen for that

00:06:19.920 long uh hilariously enough he used to be uh a like d-list rapper uh like you can go get a soundcloud

00:06:28.800 stuff i'm not like i'm really not even joking the rap rap name i promise guys this is not a racist

00:06:33.920 joke okay we did not we did not set this up beforehand this is these are just the facts okay

00:06:40.480 uh his his rap name was young cardamom okay um so uh and he he apparently has done several

00:06:49.280 collaborations with ugandan rappers uh so obviously this is a guy who really uh you know integrated

00:06:55.840 into the american society he's one of those uh immigrants that immediately took on all those american 0.99

00:07:01.360 traits that were told he touched the magic soil and immediately uh decided that he was going to

00:07:06.720 transform himself into his american person possible when he's not doing ugandan crossover rap under the

00:07:12.640 handle young cardamom so uh kind of amazing but but you know here we are yeah it's uh you can imagine

00:07:22.400 just the the absolute look of of shock and horror on the american founder's face

00:07:27.360 all right funny super chat but to explain that not only you know would the leading city in america

00:07:37.440 be headed up by you know what they would have considered you know a muhammadin right a uh you know

00:07:42.880 a pagan but that he would be an incredibly embarrassing one too you know again like 1.00

00:07:49.680 you can't even get like saladin right like you have to get right exactly like at least then it's like

00:07:54.400 say what you will about the guy but he was you know a tough serious person and then this guy it's

00:07:58.640 like oh just the worst millennial stereotypes like just bundled together with an embarrassing music

00:08:05.520 career uh to quote a great man they're not sending their best it's absolutely amazing now uh just to run

00:08:15.520 down some of his insane policies because they're of course exactly what you would expect from a guy who's

00:08:20.480 this radical uh you know he's basically for prison abolition he's talked about the need for the state

00:08:26.320 to own the grocery stores in new york because food prices are out of control and if there's one thing

00:08:30.880 that has proven time and time again to solve out of control food prices it's government run and

00:08:36.880 controlled grocery stores uh just never failed ever uh he's also and amazingly uh uh come out uh again

00:08:45.120 repeatedly uh as a trans rights advocate talking about how the police are violent to trans people

00:08:50.320 and all these things again very devout muslim really have to worry about that islamification

00:08:54.480 i've made this joke many times over but america's greatest defense against islam is actually just 0.98

00:08:59.520 uh homosexuality like like we can queer their kids faster than they can uh they can turn us to jihad 1.00

00:09:05.440 um which is apparently this is exactly the same thing dark but true dark but true it's um yeah 0.96

00:09:14.000 it's unfortunate but that is our best our best defense but it is a defense nonetheless

00:09:19.760 if you were hypothetically speaking a particularly motivated trans activist who is very interested

00:09:26.720 in passing a burka is probably your best bet so maybe there's some sort of synergy there we had to 0.65

00:09:32.160 consider easy easy to tuck in the burka there yeah that's uh uh uh didn't think about that that that

00:09:40.080 garment is a particularly useful tool for uh yeah for trans men but you you are correct yeah you could 0.86

00:09:45.440 probably fool a decent amount of guys with a little bit of makeup and just an isolate um so uh yeah in

00:09:51.280 in addition to this he's also talked about that policing theft is violence not theft itself of course

00:09:58.080 property crime isn't really violence is a big socialist talking point uh and and the one that is started to

00:10:04.160 draw a lot of attention and armand dylan over and the civil rights division with the trump

00:10:09.280 administration has already said she's got her attention on this should he attempt to implement

00:10:13.920 the policy uh but one of the things that uh mem donnie uh said uh outright is that he plans to tax white

00:10:22.720 people at a higher rate that he wants to shift the tax burden in new york uh to target white people

00:10:28.800 specifically so that they can uh you know bear a larger amount of the burden now two things about

00:10:34.320 that one it's really nice when they say it out loud so that people can't call us conspiracy theorists

00:10:39.120 you know when you talk about anti-whiteness when you talk about the attack on white people in the

00:10:42.800 united states the direct systemic interest in uh you know uh punishing white people in the united states 0.92

00:10:49.520 policies like this make it very clear you're not crazy you're not you know some kind of fringe racist

00:10:54.720 you're just pointing out the literal text of laws that are being either passed or suggested

00:11:00.560 by guys like this who entered the country expecting to come in radically change the country and turn over

00:11:06.960 all of your money to his constituents the other thing is uh to recognize that this policy is only the

00:11:13.040 explicit expression of what has more or less been the policy in the united states for both of our entire

00:11:18.800 lives uh you know this is very clearly uh the uh aim of a lot of democratic policies is to ensure that

00:11:26.800 the tax burden is almost entirely placed onto white americans uh as they also tend to make up the

00:11:32.320 brackets that have the income that pays uh the majority of taxes in the united states uh and so this seems

00:11:39.440 radical but uh and it is only in that it states the uh the thing that shouldn't be made obvious right

00:11:45.600 it's just saying the quiet part out loud uh so uh nice of him to to come out and say this even

00:11:50.800 though obviously the policy itself is horrendous well definitely uh again young cardamom doesn't seem

00:11:58.160 to be uh shall we say a road scholar right he's not exactly our our best and brightest and so it's

00:12:05.360 actually a useful thing because again all of these policies are implicitly promoted by the democratic

00:12:13.360 party by any number of these kind of civil rights acts but they were smart enough to church them up

00:12:19.440 a little bit right make it so the language was strictly egalitarian now what actually happened

00:12:26.160 was as you've said very different but there is some utility in having someone who just says it who says

00:12:32.400 the quiet part out loud and you oftentimes see this around uh the fringes of the democratic party

00:12:39.200 right the kind of blasted mental hellscape that is you know people like the squad or something like

00:12:44.080 that who say these radical things that win them accolades among left-wing circles online are to be

00:12:51.680 honest simply following their ideas to the logical conclusion they're just not smart enough to realize

00:12:57.760 that you shouldn't say that yet that's what you say once you've won not while it's still contested if

00:13:04.400 that makes sense well and i actually funny enough i'll be releasing this on monday while i'm traveling

00:13:10.000 but i just uh did a recorded an interview with uh scott yunner over at uh boise state is the one of

00:13:16.320 political science professors there but he just wrote a piece about how the uh you know the gay rights

00:13:21.280 movement is undergoing a similar problem you know they they went with the radical let's tell everybody

00:13:26.800 everything we really believe approach in the 70s and then they recognized by the 90s that this was actually

00:13:32.400 hurting their movement and it was actually pushing down approval for gay marriage and gay rights and

00:13:36.880 all these other things and so they kind of went into the will and grace mode they cleaned everything

00:13:40.640 up right they made sure that you only saw a very small select portion of gay life that made it look 0.76

00:13:46.640 like okay this is going to be pretty normal these guys are just going to have families and kids and

00:13:50.240 whatever have professional jobs they're just like you and then when they won you know once you got

00:13:55.360 Obergefell all of a sudden like the whole all the kink all the you know pederasty everything just 1.00

00:14:01.360 exploded and people are like whoa whoa what happened right that i was promised you know the kind gay 0.97

00:14:07.360 man down the street with two adopted sons for some reason uh and and now i'm getting mystery mystery

00:14:13.440 mystery uh and now i'm getting instead like guy with a ball gag dancing around in front of my kid

00:14:18.640 demanding that that be a public spectacle at least a few times a year uh and that kind of blew their

00:14:24.880 minds and we're seeing something very similar with the left here they thought they got to the end of

00:14:28.720 history right they thought that they had kind of uh got to the point where there's just no way they

00:14:33.520 were going to have to face real elections again or any real opposition again i mean heck they just

00:14:37.360 started throwing their opposition in jail so obviously they didn't think that that was going

00:14:40.320 to be an issue and then they they kind of just told their activist class well you can just blow it

00:14:45.840 all out guys because you know we don't need to control you anymore we can embrace all this stuff

00:14:50.080 you know we had to play it very carefully beforehand to get you into these positions of power

00:14:54.240 but now that this is just not going to be an issue anymore we can embrace everything and the activist

00:14:58.880 class took that to heart right they really thought that that was something that they were going to get

00:15:02.800 to do they started admitting everything that they were hiding beforehand or stuff that was only spoken

00:15:07.200 of in kind of esoteric uh language inside of academia these things started to bubble up and actually

00:15:13.360 manifest themselves in like real races and real politics and once they realized they had made a

00:15:18.480 mistake and actually there was still enough fight left in the american people to push back and

00:15:22.240 trump is coming back and these kind of things they're they're trying to shove all this back

00:15:25.840 in the closet but it's too late like people have already seen the ball gag they've already seen the

00:15:30.160 guy in the dog costume they've already seen the muslim mayor screaming you know that america is deeply 0.98

00:15:36.480 evil and that the police need to be abolished and that we need anti-white taxes like there's just no 0.95

00:15:42.560 putting it away no matter how wise it would be they they just can't stop this march well you see a very

00:15:49.200 similar thing with immigration right we are in the midst of shall we say a spirited national conversation

00:15:55.440 about immigration and the mont and bailey of that you know the position they retreat retreat to is

00:16:02.320 well these people provide an essential role in the economy that americans are unwilling or unable to fill

00:16:09.200 uh i'm sure you've seen the articles about rich la women being forced to hide their nannies and

00:16:14.960 housekeepers you know that is the is the position and yet what we see is again and i keep banging on

00:16:21.520 this drum the largest city in america is going to be ruled by a foreigner by a man who is not from here

00:16:28.400 very clearly does not care particularly at all about the people who live in the country that has

00:16:35.280 generously decided to host him he actively hates them and again that is what this sort of level of

00:16:41.680 replacement migration means your cities will be ruled by other peoples right it's it's described 0.97

00:16:48.320 as a curse biblically right you will be ruled by other people and instead the judgment of god yeah

00:16:54.160 exactly right you know on the level of you know plagues of locusts right and instead we're you know

00:17:00.400 being told that if you want to oppose this not only are you horribly racist but also look at this crying

00:17:06.160 picture of you know my kid's nanny you know why are you trying to send her back and again right it's

00:17:11.680 that classic situation where if you were smart you know if you were a perfect machiavellian you know

00:17:17.600 moving the pieces around the chessboard this is something you would want to hide because it

00:17:21.600 naturally it naturally rubs people the wrong way they don't want to be ruled by foreigners i mean go 0.74

00:17:27.920 back to caesar right why did the gulls rebel well because they're being ruled by role romans they feel

00:17:33.440 that that is some sort of injustice and that instinct is varied buried very deeply in the

00:17:40.880 nature of man and so to your point about the woke not being put away undoubtedly is the correct choice 0.97

00:17:47.440 tactically but are they able to do it it seems as if the answer is no and one of the other things that

00:17:54.880 i think is important to talk about this is the demographics of the electorate specifically who was

00:18:01.040 present at his uh the celebration after he won the primary if you look around the room it is entirely

00:18:08.880 white millennials right there's really no one under the age of about 28 and really no one north of

00:18:16.960 about 45 right that's pretty much the the stack you've got and again if we look at the democratic

00:18:22.560 party the baby boomers have largely not selected replacements they're still that age coterie at the 0.99

00:18:29.680 top you can think of people like pelosi you know pick your favorite octogenarian democrat

00:18:36.400 they're there there's very few people from that age cohort to the millennials and the millennials who are

00:18:44.720 going to replace these aging shall we say graded on a curve more reasonable democrats are rabid progressives

00:18:54.000 so sure you know if you were smart you would not be playing into those sort of inclinations you would

00:19:00.960 not be playing to those tendencies but simply by the nature of needing to backfill the team as people either

00:19:08.000 pass or are you know retiring who are they going to slot into those roles a giuliani to uh young cardamom i cannot

00:19:16.720 say his name so we'll go with his his sober day there that's a perfect example right like giuliani is

00:19:22.400 relatively old man as you've said he's not exactly woke he's a democrat he's not a particularly good

00:19:28.320 person he's probably just a coma there oh excuse me my my mistake uh a different octogenarian yeah

00:19:35.840 cycling through aging new york politicians my mistake uh but point is right not a good person not someone

00:19:42.960 i particularly like but he didn't say things like this even if he met them and so i think that this sort

00:19:50.640 of transition where we see an aging more quote-unquote bipartisan quote-unquote respectable democrat

00:19:57.360 being replaced with a young radical that trend is only going to continue they don't make more baby

00:20:02.640 boomers anymore the chevrolet employee pricing event is on now get a big cash purchase discount

00:20:10.160 of up to 11 300 on the 2025 chevrolet silverado ld zr2 and silverado hd zr2 with a factory installed lift

00:20:19.840 kit and multi-matic dssv dampers on both the silverado ld and hd zr2 you'll have all the capability you

00:20:27.040 need to leave the asphalt behind hurry in employee pricing is on for a limited time visit your local

00:20:32.880 chevrolet dealer for details it's really insane that this has moved this direction but you're right

00:20:39.760 that the the aging out of the older democrats also means the aging out of the establishment of the

00:20:45.920 party and to be clear that's happening to both right in a lot of ways uh guys like us on the right

00:20:51.920 are kind of waiting for that cycle to happen because we know that you know obviously i'm older

00:20:57.120 than you but us and everyone behind us is much more right wing than the actual republicans the

00:21:03.200 actual conservatives who are in media and politics right now and there's just a certain generational

00:21:08.160 issue that once kind of the boomers age out and uh most of gen x really just didn't involve itself

00:21:13.600 very heavily in politics this is going to fall to a bunch of people who have moved very far to the

00:21:18.800 right and to be fair the left is having the same thing right they ultimately do not like their uh

00:21:25.680 their institutions they don't like uh the people who have been a central part of the mainstream of

00:21:31.200 their movement and as soon as that cohort is gone like you say they all i think a lot of these people

00:21:36.000 wanted to support the most radical leftist thing they could but they knew that they couldn't do that

00:21:40.720 they knew that was critical to them staying viable in the political arena these kind of things but the

00:21:45.760 young and hungry ones they don't care right and they know that the people who are going to be voting

00:21:50.000 for them that next generation once the boomers are gone they they're all in on the left-wing policies 0.67

00:21:55.040 they're they look at eric adams and they don't say oh these failed democratic policies they're so bad

00:22:01.600 let's pick a republican like everyone's looking at the republican in the race and they're not even

00:22:06.000 bothering because he's already lost eric adams before they don't think he has a chance in hell

00:22:11.200 giuliani was a very long time ago right the idea that a republican mayor is going to come in and

00:22:15.760 write in is it's going to save him is is really just not effective and i think it's important for

00:22:21.360 people to look at this and realize that ultimately if you don't have an understanding that this is just

00:22:27.120 not going to change that that that uh the we the democracy the idea that democracy works that popular

00:22:34.480 sovereignty works is the idea that voters are going to look at the result of who they elected and

00:22:39.440 they're going to say to themselves this did not work and we need a new set of policies and we are

00:22:43.440 going to change direction and obviously with the election of trump some level of that is possible

00:22:49.680 but when we look at these democratic strongholds that is never coming like the days where new york

00:22:54.800 might you know swing the pendulum between a competent republican or like a moderate competent

00:22:59.280 republican to like fix everything and then back to a leftist democrat because they can't control

00:23:04.160 themselves that at least had some equilibrium there's some kind of stasis involved uh in that shift

00:23:09.440 those days are gone there is no rudy giuliani who's going to get elected and just come in and

00:23:13.680 clean all these things up and a lot of this comes with demographics now a lot of people have correctly

00:23:18.320 pointed out and you just did that young cardamom's uh uh biggest supporters are leftist uh white liberals

00:23:26.480 right like that that's uh some of his hardest core supporters but you have to understand that in

00:23:31.360 addition to the support of the minorities that come in the more you have this concentration of minorities

00:23:37.440 the more the only uh white americans who are going to live in that area tend to be very liberal people

00:23:43.920 and so increasing the diversity doesn't just increase the number of minorities who are going

00:23:48.880 to vote for more radical and leftist ideas it also ensures that the few white americans left in that

00:23:55.680 area are only going to be the kind of people who are going to push for more diversity more leftism

00:24:00.560 this kind of thing and so the sea change in demographics even if it doesn't immediately show

00:24:06.000 up in particular supporter numbers is always going to move you this direction it's very hard for a

00:24:10.960 lot of people even on the right to grasp but if you elect left or if you if you import a third world uh 0.98

00:24:18.000 style population you're going to get third world politics that that's just all there is to it 0.58

00:24:23.840 and to your point about voters not learning this is something we've seen over and over and over again

00:24:30.800 california is a great example uh really i mean since the let's just say late 80s early 90s that has been

00:24:38.880 a blue state massively so and while there was a brief exception right we had arnold in one not

00:24:46.880 much of a republican right not exactly a fire-breathing conservative but also that state has declined

00:24:53.200 massively since then and what is the rhetoric over and over and over again the rhetoric is not

00:24:58.880 we have gone too far it is we haven't gone far enough and the thing halting us the thing preventing 0.66

00:25:06.080 us from achieving this liberal utopia well it's the racist horrible white guys in the past and as those

00:25:13.040 get ever more faint right as it becomes further and further you know from living memory well it doesn't

00:25:18.720 stop them right they will still continue to blame that one of the reasons that systematic racism is such a

00:25:24.960 magical word is it is this sort of impossible to measure thing right it is this this formless evil

00:25:31.600 that accounts for all of the things that go wrong in our plans you may remember that the soviets had

00:25:36.800 this term wreckers right which is the guys that allegedly are still you know russian monarchists

00:25:42.000 who are running around messing up the production tables and smashing the factories and that's why

00:25:46.480 you don't have enough razors or you don't have any butter right it's the records it's not us we didn't

00:25:51.360 do anything wrong and similarly there's a problem with a lack a lot of these horrible policies take

00:25:58.000 several years to be implemented and then to metastasize i don't know how long young cardamom

00:26:03.280 is going to be in office but let's pick a nice round number four years he's in there for four years

00:26:08.320 takes him a few to get things done and then he moves on to something else maybe his music career picks

00:26:14.400 back up and he's you know opening up clubs all across africa well his policies the damage that

00:26:20.880 he's done may not become apparent until he's well out of office at which point well he's out of the

00:26:28.240 picture we can blame the problems with this on good old reliable systematic racism or something else

00:26:35.200 right we can find something to hang this on and the reason i bring this up is because we've seen this

00:26:41.360 over and over and over again these cities don't magically turn it around right entropy works on

00:26:48.720 you know it's not linear right it's exponential things get worse and worse and worse and occasionally

00:26:55.040 we see places like san francisco sort of touch the brakes right or or as they did in uh in portland

00:27:01.200 right say okay whoa whoa we're gonna pull back uh you can't smoke crack on the sidewalk you can in your

00:27:07.040 tent but not on the sidewalk and you could look at that and say oh they're learning it's like well

00:27:12.400 are they you know that still is a dramatic degree of degradation from that city 10 20 30 years ago

00:27:21.440 and to your point right the the incentive set up by democracy in these cities is only to make things worse

00:27:29.440 again we've seen this playbook run dozens of times and at a certain point right if you're talking

00:27:35.920 charlie brown the 30th time he's missed the football you can be forgiven for getting a

00:27:40.320 little bit frustrated trying to explain the problem to him so i think a lot of people you know there's

00:27:46.880 a couple responses to this the first one is well it's new york it's they're just going to destroy

00:27:51.680 themselves this is the consequence of their actions and to be fair i have some sympathy for this like

00:27:56.960 ultimately uh as a guy who is very very tired of having my life ruined by blue staters i live in florida 0.96

00:28:03.840 we were constantly invaded by these people until ron de santis basically uh forced the the state

00:28:11.120 somewhat red again uh with his policies and kind of the selective pressure that those put on who was

00:28:16.320 coming here uh but obviously they don't just come to florida they they wreck all kinds of different

00:28:21.040 states uh new york is a unfortunately also a seat of power and so you know a lot of people have had the

00:28:27.600 debate between do do we abandon these cities do we try to retake them you know what's the way to do

00:28:33.280 this now i i have heard some people talking about consent decrees and just you basically uh

00:28:40.560 reconstructing new york uh if you can pull this off guys i'm all i'm all in like to be clear i i am all

00:28:47.520 for removing the sovereignty of new yorkers they obviously are not capable of self-government and it

00:28:52.480 should you know be taken from them if at all possible but i think that's about as realistic as

00:28:57.440 as secession at this point um and so i guess the question is do we think there is any hope i mean i

00:29:03.520 don't think we're going to see an organic turnaround like all of a sudden these people are going to

00:29:07.520 just as you say like see the light and you know they're going to recognize the consequences of what

00:29:12.640 they've done and they're going to start electing you know sterling right-wing guys to come in and

00:29:17.200 clear this like i don't think that moment's ever happening the best you can hope is that they stop

00:29:21.360 running you know a mile at a time and maybe they slow down a little bit but i seriously doubt that's

00:29:27.360 going to even happen is there any hope that there's another way to to stop this process of cities like

00:29:33.120 this continuing to radicalize or is this just an inevitable fate for you know where our country's going

00:29:39.760 i mean i'll put it this way i don't think anything is inevitable uh there are a number of historical

00:29:46.080 examples of entropy being reversed right of problems actually being solved the problem is

00:29:53.840 relying on democracy to achieve those goals is sort of a losing prospect again you mentioned

00:30:02.080 immigration uh that is the hole in the democracy game you can simply increase the number of players

00:30:08.640 in the game until you have an absolute majority similarly right we mentioned the tax burden

00:30:14.720 well you can also once you have the power of purse strings basically say well i can't pay you to vote

00:30:21.440 for me but i can create these other programs which will effectively do that right that is a huge open

00:30:28.880 hole and so uh at the risk of saying something too radical i don't know if there are democratic solutions

00:30:35.280 to these democratic problems there may have to be shall we say a top-down decision made those are possible

00:30:43.200 but within the constraints of the system as it currently exists i don't think there's a way to

00:30:47.760 solve that to your point about cities writ large i certainly understand the desire to remove yourself from

00:30:56.400 cities on a personal level that is the correct move to make you don't want to end up like daniel

00:31:03.120 penny obviously he skated uh but to say it ruined his life is probably an understatement he will never

00:31:10.880 be a normal person again and that was a near-run thing so on an individual level if i was giving

00:31:17.440 advice to you or in mcintyre who for whatever godforsaken reason lived in brooklyn i would tell you to

00:31:23.840 leave but the problem is as you've said cities are the seat of power that is where culture is germinated

00:31:30.720 that is where power is concentrated obviously new york is the financial center of the world

00:31:35.840 and so in order to have a rejuvenated america those cities will have to be in a strictly non-violent

00:31:44.720 completely legal political way retake they will have to be brought into line because otherwise and i say

00:31:52.320 this as someone who much prefers small-town america to the big city well those cities will have to be

00:31:58.800 brought in line there is no other way to do it it is simply the way humans organize themselves

00:32:04.480 that the sort of votive force of a nation is concentrated in its cities i think that's very

00:32:11.440 true uh and uh it's it's not an easy problem to solve i think uh i pretty much agree with everything

00:32:16.960 you laid out there and so i think we're going to be on this track uh for a while until something changes

00:32:22.560 very radically uh and like i said i just would not uh you know obviously he's still uh the young

00:32:27.680 cardamom has to win uh against eric adams in november uh but the current poll numbers make

00:32:34.320 that seem pretty much like a foregone conclusion anything could happen between now and then uh but

00:32:39.600 i would say that the very uh serious likelihood is that new york is only going to get worse uh going

00:32:45.760 forward here uh all right so our other topic today is the supreme court uh made a big ruling

00:32:51.600 they named a number of big rulings maybe we'll break down the other ones uh later but this is the

00:32:55.920 most important one i think uh for some of guys like us is that they uh ruled six three uh in a strange uh

00:33:04.080 you know uh amy amy conan barrett win uh that ultimately the uh slower courts cannot throw out these never

00:33:11.520 over-ending uh kind of nationwide uh hindrances to what donald trump is doing they can't just

00:33:17.920 throw an injunction on every single uh executive order that trump passes the low courts don't have

00:33:22.720 that ability in fact uh amy conan barrett really uh slapped around katanji jackson uh in uh her in 1.00

00:33:30.160 her majority opinion saying that the they're basically the minority uh which is the exact three justices you

00:33:36.560 you'd expect uh are basically just ignoring all precedent and all law and they're just saying whatever they

00:33:40.960 want like they their ruling has absolutely no connection to history or reality it was basically

00:33:46.880 how to tell someone to shut up in a much longer legal document it was the most dismissive thing i've

00:33:54.880 ever seen written from the supreme court which i mean given many of the justices responses to judge

00:34:02.800 jackson that's an impressive bar to clear but it seems that they were particularly fatigued with this

00:34:08.320 woman in this specific instance high degree of jackson fatigue uh very very much you can be felt

00:34:15.920 all across the supreme court so the other reason that this ruling is so important is it is the the the

00:34:21.600 way that they ruled on this was while evaluating uh the claims that trump's executive order uh more or

00:34:30.000 less attempting to end birthright citizenship under the 14th amendment uh that the lower courts couldn't uh

00:34:37.520 use injunctions to stop that executive order now to be clear they avoided the issue as to whether or not

00:34:42.640 the executive order itself is constitutional whether it properly addresses uh the requirements of the

00:34:49.200 14th amendment for those who are unfamiliar the 14th amendment uh says anyone born on american soil

00:34:55.360 is an american citizen but the key part of that was it the context the 14th amendment was written after

00:35:03.760 slaves were freed and so the idea was we need to make a clear you know the question was okay this this

00:35:09.520 person is no longer a slave after the 13th amendment but are they a u.s citizen because those aren't

00:35:14.000 necessarily the same thing they weren't a citizen when they were born do they need to naturalize can

00:35:18.560 they naturalize you know what what what is the process here and so the 14th amendment lays out

00:35:23.520 what you need for you know being a citizen now the key phrase the one that is ignored by advocates of

00:35:29.440 birthright citizenship is that the 14th amendment says that that person must be under basically the

00:35:35.520 legal dominion of the united states and not another nation now people who are citizens of another 0.92

00:35:42.320 nation when they have a child here are under still the legal auspices of that nation they are not 0.71

00:35:48.320 officially americans they are not completely under american jurisdiction and so their children are also

00:35:54.480 not completely under american jurisdiction and so that is the argument for not extending a birthright

00:35:59.040 citizenship you must basically already be a citizen of the united states when your child is born so that

00:36:05.600 you are under the legal jurisdiction and therefore they are a citizen via the 14th amendment that would

00:36:11.680 not apply to people who are here illegally with both parents that i think more or less it would still apply

00:36:17.280 to someone with one parent but it would not apply if both parents were not legal citizens at that time

00:36:23.360 and so what you have is a situation where there's been a long and i think intentional misreading of

00:36:28.320 the 14th amendment in order to throw open the doors of the united states and create the anchor baby

00:36:33.760 phenomenon many people are familiar with you know we have obviously many uh people from south america and

00:36:39.600 central america who come here uh in an attempt to gain citizenship for themselves and their children

00:36:44.320 there are chinese entire chinese tourism industries basically built around taking pregnant women 0.63

00:36:49.440 and bringing them to the united states so that their children will be dual citizens uh because 0.51

00:36:53.440 there's another thing that america needs to get rid of dual citizenship uh but basically there's there's

00:36:58.240 an entire industry around basically farming this loophole this intentional loophole in the 14th amendment

00:37:03.680 and so the trump executive order doesn't get rid of the 14th amendment it doesn't even change the legal

00:37:08.400 reading of the 14th amendment but it simply says we are looking at the the text of the 14th amendment and

00:37:14.960 as we understand it that means that we do not need to issue documents we do not need to issue federal

00:37:19.920 documents of citizenship to uh these uh immigrant children like that we are not required to recognize 0.96

00:37:27.680 them as citizens and hand them documents now obviously this is probably going to be ignored by

00:37:32.480 different jurisdictions the sanctuary jurisdictions are probably going to ignore this uh as well uh there's

00:37:38.160 still going to be judges who are going to try to challenge this one way or another but this puts the

00:37:42.400 trump administration a pretty firm footing when it comes to denying these nationwide injunctions saying

00:37:47.840 look uh we we've got this supreme court ruling we don't really care what you say as a district judge

00:37:52.880 because supreme court has already told us that you are violating the law yeah and i think it's important

00:37:58.960 to to mention in the broader context of the trump administration uh or trump 2.0 uh there were a number of grand

00:38:07.760 promises made and i think myself and many others looked at those with a certain degree of skepticism

00:38:13.840 if nothing else if we are able to plug this hole this is a win this is a huge win right when we talk

00:38:21.360 about the the way in which america has been sort of replaced and rebuilt with a new nation this is the

00:38:29.520 way it was done right the the way that the country transformed after 1964 and the heart seller act 0.99

00:38:35.360 had a large part to do with birthright citizenship which is very clearly a a really stupid idea right 0.99

00:38:42.080 if you actually cared about having a real country with real laws and while it is stupid it's also a 0.92

00:38:48.480 very good way to stay in power right we mentioned the mechanism earlier where if you can simply increase

00:38:54.320 the number of players who like you well you can win almost any popularity contest and so to me right

00:39:01.920 the fact that the supreme court has vindicated the trump administration on this is it's a huge

00:39:06.160 development it's genuinely great news and obviously as you've said there will be fights there will be

00:39:12.960 you know new legal loopholes but if this is an indication of things to come this is a very very

00:39:19.440 strong sign we are returning to some semblance of normalcy with regards immigration yeah i mean obviously

00:39:26.640 the supreme court could still come back and say that ultimately the executive order does violate the

00:39:31.600 14th amendment or you know give an official reading that that moves against it but let's be honest if

00:39:36.560 that was going to be the move then leaving the injunctions in place would probably have made more

00:39:41.440 sense maybe the court is just jealously guarding its territory we're the supreme court we're the one

00:39:46.480 that makes these final rulings stop trying to cut us out of the process by creating these nationwide

00:39:50.720 injunctions that's possible but i think it's it's probably connected to the larger fact that if push comes to

00:39:57.200 shove they might rule in trump's favor again there's still a big battle to be had there i think that

00:40:02.960 a correct reading of the 14th amendment is pretty critical uh to the future of the united states if not

00:40:08.400 the overturning of the 14th amendment but that's a much longer discussion uh but uh it's very critical

00:40:13.840 that the birthright citizenship ends and if trump does nothing but shut the border and in birthright

00:40:20.480 citizenship it will have been the greatest win that any republican politician has ever handed me

00:40:27.120 in my lifetime except maybe the roe v wade overturning right like these are in in my mind i think this is

00:40:32.880 more significant uh even though both are important and so uh it's one of those scenarios where i want

00:40:37.600 the big deportations trump has actually come out and said he's promising at least a million a year it's a

00:40:42.160 good start but not enough obviously biden let in at least eight million so you need to do two million a

00:40:47.840 year uh during your four-year term just to catch up with the damage he's done uh but uh you know i

00:40:53.760 think people should recognize that whether trump ultimately is successful in mass deportations or

00:40:58.480 not he has already made some of the most radical reforms to our immigration system that have ever

00:41:03.760 happened uh in united states history very much uh so in my lifetime and so i i think you you should

00:41:10.320 continue to push for more but recognize you are getting way more than you ever expected out of donald trump

00:41:15.600 well and and last time i was on your show or and i was i was sort of uh in an unusually emotional

00:41:21.840 outburst for me railing against what we thought then was a full-on war in iran now obviously that's

00:41:27.520 been walked back i definitely applaud that uh and look there are a multitude of problems facing america

00:41:34.640 but fundamentally if we lose immigration we lose everything and so as much as i would like to

00:41:41.840 be in a world where you and i got everything we wanted that's not the situation we're in but if

00:41:48.400 there is one play that rooks us right that basically puts us permanently into a losing position it's

00:41:56.320 immigration and so everything else is great like yes we that those are all very very real threats

00:42:03.360 things that need to be addressed but fundamentally and i think the president recognizes this immigration is

00:42:08.640 at the core not because i personally think it is more important to end immigration than to 0.72

00:42:14.800 pick any other pet issue right to ban transgender surgery from minors or anything but because if we

00:42:22.000 don't get that one right if we don't get the keystone the whole arch falls and so i think that the

00:42:27.440 unwavering focus from the trump administration on this issue is well placed because again right like you

00:42:32.800 can look at the same tables i can it's sort of a near run thing and again i'll mention it for the

00:42:39.200 umpteenth time as america ages those problems worsen and so effectively if there is a time to do it

00:42:46.560 we're pretty close to the 12th hour if you see what i'm saying yeah and guys we need to lay this on the

00:42:52.480 table i think a lot of people who are watching this are probably only already familiar but for the wider

00:42:57.600 audience out there we need to just say this truth explicitly okay the democratic party knows that

00:43:05.360 minority in uh immigration is the key to victory they believe the democratic party believes that 0.70

00:43:13.520 demographics is destiny this is not a question this is their explicit strategy right they laugh about

00:43:19.120 it they they will boast about it as long as you don't notice it then it's celebration parallax right then

00:43:25.040 oh great replacement it's a conspiracy theory but they will joke about it they will celebrate it on

00:43:28.960 live television when they think that nobody is going to hit them on it you're just not allowed

00:43:33.680 to notice and nothing shows this more clearly than the situation in new york the need the more that new

00:43:39.520 york is transformed by immigration the farther left it goes the more radical its politicians become

00:43:45.840 just like ronald reagan who's electable in the in the 80s uh you know before the 80s becomes

00:43:51.760 completely unelectable after his own amnesty rudy giuliani who's electable you know when i was a

00:43:58.000 kid when the late 90s early 2000s becomes completely unthinkable as the demographics of the city change

00:44:06.560 and the right is just in this delusional mindset that like conservatives are just in this delusional

00:44:11.360 mindset still that like it's all just a marketplace of ideas and if you just look we'll just show them the

00:44:17.200 pie charts we'll just show them the numbers we'll just bring the better arguments they'll see the

00:44:22.320 consequences of their voting and it'll change but new york really really needs to disabuse you

00:44:28.560 of that understanding of politics if you think that's how democracy works at this point i'm sorry 0.98

00:44:35.040 you're blind or you're stupid because it is very obvious from the evidence we are looking at literally 0.98

00:44:41.200 right now in real time that the more a country transforms its demographics the more it transforms 1.00

00:44:48.240 its politics we see this in new york we're going to see it everywhere else and so if the democrats are

00:44:54.400 telling you their explicit strategy is to get as many non-white people into the country as possible 1.00

00:45:00.000 in hopes of changing the demographics and therefore changing the voting patterns then republicans have to

00:45:06.080 understand that political reality even when it comes to legal immigration the more people you bring in

00:45:12.240 from the third world and other countries that are not like your own the more your country will become 1.00

00:45:16.720 like theirs they you will not win arguments with them you will not explain to them while your system of

00:45:23.040 government is just the best and that's why they need to believe in the american idea they do not care

00:45:28.400 they do not understand your civilization they will burn your fine oak door for firewood and warmth

00:45:35.040 that is the reality of the situation and as long as the right is obsessed with denying this because

00:45:41.040 they're so scared of being racist they're just going to lose they're going to lose the left knows the

00:45:47.280 truth the left celebrates this truth and the right has to accept it if your opponent's main and winning

00:45:54.000 strategy is to import as many foreigners as possible to change the demographics and therefore change the voting 1.00

00:46:00.720 in your country in your country and you ignore that you're just going to lose if you don't pay attention

00:46:06.800 to the reality of demographics and voting you're going to lose and the left is counting on the fact that

00:46:13.280 if they call you racist you won't notice that's it that's the whole play it has to change well and to your

00:46:20.640 point all right look at the the moves by uh and this is verifiable this isn't tinfoil hat stuff of uh

00:46:29.440 billionaires like george soros to turn texas blue how is he doing that facilitating immigration that is

00:46:37.760 the play and if you can see it in that constrained area right one out of 50 states surely that works in

00:46:46.480 a similar direction on the scale of a whole nation uh one other thing that's worth bringing up is it's

00:46:52.640 obviously difficult to change anyone's mind uh particularly so when they are paid lots of money

00:46:57.600 not to have their mind changed right so to go back to uh our young uh aspiring rapper here

00:47:04.640 okay let's say he gets what he wants he shifts tax burden from shall we say uh legacy americans to

00:47:11.680 new arrivals or vice versa right so you are as a new immigrant not only not being deported right they're

00:47:20.480 saying you can stay here but also you will stay here and pay less taxes effectively a cash payment

00:47:27.280 by another means than anyone else why would you vote for another party you're not only getting to

00:47:33.760 stay here in admittedly a shall we say degraded city of new york but still better than many places

00:47:39.760 in the nation in the world but you're also getting paid right this patronage network enables or basically

00:47:46.880 cuts off the the marketplace of ideas right sure if you were in a perfectly sealed environment you know

00:47:54.000 everyone was a pure rational actor with no financial ties maybe maybe you're right i would dispute it even

00:48:00.400 then but that's so clearly not the situation we're in and if you don't update your mental map your sort of

00:48:07.920 high school civics education how the system works to what is actually happening on the ground what good

00:48:14.560 does it do because again like look i would love to live in the world as described by a high school

00:48:20.000 civics textbook but fundamentally we don't and so sure we can complain about that fair enough even but

00:48:28.800 that's not the game we are playing that's not the hand we have been dealt and so ultimately right

00:48:34.400 if you're serious about solving these issues you cannot exist in this world of wishes you have to

00:48:39.920 look at the world as it is currently you mentioned you know machiavelli you've mentioned him multiple

00:48:46.400 times on this show right fundamentally machiavelli is a realist right he says we look at men how they are

00:48:53.280 not how we would wish them to be horrible paraphrase not about a quote but the idea is that is how politics

00:48:59.600 works and fundamentally one of the deep problems with conservatives is not only you are completely

00:49:04.880 correct have they allowed themselves to be controlled by slurs like saying they're racist

00:49:10.720 or homophobic or cold-hearted or any one of these other you know baseless attacks but also because they

00:49:16.880 have allowed themselves to be deluded into thinking that everyone is playing the game as honorably as they

00:49:22.320 would you're not fundamentally you were playing cards with a guy who's got an extra ace up his sleeve

00:49:27.840 and that ace is opening the border for four years and letting eight million either depending on how

00:49:34.160 conspiratorial you want to be either new voters or the parents of new voters into the country so

00:49:41.680 that radically adjusts your calculus when you're no longer playing a perfectly sealed you know correctly

00:49:48.400 dealt game of cards anyway all right i'll throw it back to you no i think that's exactly right and

00:49:54.160 and you know obviously this is honestly the main thrust of this entire show right not just this

00:49:59.440 episode but literally the entire channel my entire program is basically just to explain to conservatives

00:50:05.520 that real politics is happening and you can't have the mr smith goes to washington aw shucks

00:50:11.600 understanding and expect to win the game if you're standing around waiting for the moment where your moral

00:50:17.600 rector rectitude and uh you know fealty to the particular system is going to turn things around

00:50:24.240 that's a long wait for a train that's just never going to come and so in reality you need to recognize

00:50:29.120 that this isn't about abandoning principles this is about embracing your own principles what are your

00:50:33.920 real principles are your principles watching the country burn down while people completely trample over

00:50:40.000 the constitution and nothing stops them is that really what you're dedicated to or is your principle

00:50:45.280 the american people is in america first and therefore you're going to do everything you can to defend

00:50:50.960 those people and that doesn't mean abandoning you know your your your values it means recognizing

00:50:56.880 that your values are dependent on your ability to protect your people that nobody will be living out 0.97

00:51:03.440 your values when you import the world as new york has proven to us there will be no american conservative

00:51:09.440 values once you know 50 60 percent 70 of the country is come you know it's some foreign-born 0.99

00:51:16.400 nationality like that's just not how it works and so part of protecting your values and your principles

00:51:22.480 is allowing them the ability to exist and that's going to mean taking real action here well and this

00:51:28.160 is a point that that carl benjamin has been hammering on for quite a while right as a conservative

00:51:34.160 are you conserving the people or the institutions because those institutions as you know scholars of

00:51:41.600 demestra are outpouring sort of the flowering of the base which is the people right cultures produce

00:51:49.360 certain institutions naturally and so if you change that substrate if you change the roots to the plant

00:51:57.440 obviously you will produce different fruit and the idea that you know you can simply focus

00:52:03.040 on you know adhering to constitutional law above all else or focus on sort of the the trappings of

00:52:10.240 the american republic while everything else has changed and it will be the same thing it's very

00:52:15.520 clearly foolishness that is that is not how any other country works and again this is something that is

00:52:23.040 very easy to recognize in other cultures instead of our own right i mean you look at english history is

00:52:29.040 a great example when england became when it was invaded by the normans it became a different thing

00:52:36.400 obviously there was a mixture you know it wasn't necessarily the same type of replacement migration

00:52:40.720 we are seeing but it became something else right it was no longer the same thing and okay in that case

00:52:46.960 we could maybe argue it was for the best i'm not looking to get into a deep controversy about a thousand

00:52:51.920 year old british history but either way when people's change their cultures change it's almost

00:52:57.440 so it's almost so simple it's a tautology of course they do but this is something that you know we as

00:53:03.840 conservatives have struggled with for a long time and i think that you know if you look at what our

00:53:08.400 project is or and it is disabusing what i consider to be the best people in america of that false idea

00:53:16.720 again there's so many historical examples it's ridiculous you look at the roman empire the

00:53:20.720 more gauls that come in the less roman it becomes until it collapses you look at the eastern roman

00:53:25.360 empire as the seat moves and becomes more greek it really is now identified as even though they

00:53:30.640 thought of themselves as roman it's now considered the byzantine empire because it's so radically

00:53:34.880 different it seemed like an entirely different civilization this is just obvious any student of

00:53:40.000 history can do this all day every day and yet we're in denial here about it and and that just has to

00:53:45.760 change and i think what's happening in new york just gives us yet another window into that truth

00:53:51.600 and it doesn't do us any good to continue to deny it all right guys we're going to move on to the

00:53:56.000 questions of the people but before we do mr burden where should people be looking for your excellent work

00:54:00.720 sure so you can find me on the jay burden show on apple spotify youtube anywhere you want to listen

00:54:06.960 to podcasts oran i appreciate you for having me on it's always a fun time absolutely uh let's see here

00:54:13.360 you have to but but i do need you to keep with the you know the the theme i need you to dress as a

00:54:17.760 different celebrity of some kind next well let me tell you uh i might get a little bit of flack but

00:54:24.240 my oj simpson's gonna kill nice the worst part is that started as a blackface joke and then became 0.55

00:54:32.080 an oj and then it became someone's joke yeah it's there's late i was hoping you intended the layers you 0.63

00:54:37.520 know yeah well we'll say i did yeah yeah yeah absolutely jay burden he's he's he's planning

00:54:44.560 these things out he's prepared uh philosophical thirstworm 6645 says ugandian indians were part of

00:54:50.880 the weaponized indian clerks uh the brits dumped everywhere uh beware the uh guyana indian refugees 1.00

00:54:58.800 because they're close to being expelled 2.6 countries counting now or two okay period six countries

00:55:05.840 counting now you know i can't say i'm very familiar with the indian diaspora across of uh africa i guess

00:55:11.440 it makes sense that that's a thing but i really was completely oblivious uh up till this point about

00:55:16.960 it this might be something you can have uh our mutual friend ernst van zeal talk about because there

00:55:22.800 was a indian population in south africa uh who's still there one of which was young cardamon yeah yes

00:55:29.440 uh my favorite rapper uh but that is very much the case across the english empire what remains of it

00:55:38.240 uh and they are still a sort of insular ethnic group and a lot of the riots we've seen uh in south

00:55:45.040 africa over the last kind of five to ten years have actually been the boars haven't necessarily been

00:55:51.120 involved it's been you know the native native groups and the indians sort of fighting back and

00:55:56.480 forth so just an interesting note that you know

00:56:00.000 did not know uh buggo says uh is he a man uh manager class who will use leftist morality as a

00:56:07.440 bludgeon for neoliberal policies like unlimited immigration and institutional thought police well

00:56:12.960 i would say he's actually a step beyond that like obviously um you know a lot of people again were

00:56:17.680 freaking about his is about his islamic bonafides uh but i don't think he's very serious about that

00:56:24.160 you know again he'll use some of the language but he's very clearly a radical progressive before he's

00:56:28.880 any kind of religious muslim uh and i think that actually puts them beyond the managerial class

00:56:33.840 so like one of the problems the managerial class had is that the wokeness was a very useful doctrine for

00:56:40.000 kind of giving them the excuse to tear up the firmament that they were uh trying to destroy uh

00:56:45.280 inside or the foundation firmaments on top of you uh but they're there to you know tear that up and

00:56:52.000 create their own thing but they haven't been able to control the radical leftists and so i think he's

00:56:56.080 actually beyond the managerial class i think he's part of this you know a group of people who doesn't

00:57:01.440 have the competence to operate inside the managerial class and it's too radical to have the policies

00:57:06.080 that would allow leftists to function so i think he's going to move well beyond the neoliberal policies

00:57:10.240 now of course he'll still go with unlimited immigration because that's part of their understanding

00:57:14.560 uh but i think he's really looking to tear down many of those neoliberal uh artifices uh so he he's

00:57:20.640 ultimately an enemy of the managerial class but only because he's a far more dangerous version of leftism

00:57:27.920 he also says uh an important point is that kumo uh spent every uh every waking moment saying trump 0.69

00:57:34.480 israel jews trump israel jews while uh mr star wars actually talked about new york city yes i meant to

00:57:40.960 say this actually so one of the critical things and and obviously his solutions to these problems are

00:57:46.320 an absolute disaster one of the uh important things is that this uh you know well-renowned world-renowned

00:57:52.480 rapper uh he uh was doing actual uh populist politics right he was doing retail politics he was on the

00:58:00.640 ground he was interviewing people on the street hey what do you think about food vendor licenses what do

00:58:06.240 you think about grocery store prices what do you think about rent again all of his solutions

00:58:10.880 are disastrous but in this moment especially when people how do we say this

00:58:19.040 high time preference people don't care about civilization or the cost of solutions just that

00:58:23.840 someone is talking about them they don't understand the origin of the problem so they just look at food

00:58:28.160 prices and say they're high and they just say oh rent is high they don't think about why they don't

00:58:32.960 think about the fact that the mass immigration uh the insane leftist uh attempts to control the city 0.82

00:58:39.520 are driving up all these prices they don't the cause and effect doesn't exist to them they just

00:58:43.360 want to hear someone say something about it so cuomo is kind of parroting the institutional line of like 0.88

00:58:48.880 foreign policy we need to talk about foreign policy as if any new yorker gives a crap about what's going

00:58:54.400 on between israel and iran right now uh and you know to be fair obviously the republican party is doing the

00:59:01.040 exact same thing right now lots of people screaming why are we doing mass deportations why are we spending

00:59:05.920 all of our money trying to figure out how to shoot down rockets for israel like that's a real uh issue

00:59:11.040 on both parties uh but one of the big reasons this guy won is he was willing to do populist politics

00:59:16.800 and people care far more about someone going up and saying how do you feel about this than actually

00:59:21.680 having a you know thought out solution uh let's see gabby of limburg says ogc new york city make nyc

00:59:33.440 rhodesia again again ogc great uh organization the old glory club if you are in new york city i know

00:59:38.960 they're trying to get a chapter started up there so uh you know maybe maybe you can help save the the

00:59:44.320 city because the burden and i aren't sure about this route forward but god bless you if you're trying by

00:59:48.560 all means yeah i would love to be wrong i'll put it that way absolutely yeah please please prove us

00:59:53.680 wrong uh mart gates uh said thank you for these daily streams well thank you man remember of course

00:59:59.600 that we go live uh monday wednesday friday most uh days or most days of the week we're doing something

01:00:06.880 uh thursday is usually uh an essay but trying to put out as much content as we can and i really

01:00:12.480 appreciate you guys supporting us here buggo says the problem we have in congress

01:00:18.480 is congress refuses to legislate so the executive court and courts are stepping in to fill the void

01:00:22.800 yeah that's exactly right ultimately congress has become a fundraising institution all the actual

01:00:27.760 governments has been pushed to the executive branch and more importantly executive agencies

01:00:32.320 uh and you know a lot a lot of libertarians and even some conservatives were angry about trump and his

01:00:37.680 war powers act you know usage and these things recently but let's just be honest there's no actual

01:00:44.160 appetite for governing in congress whether you like that truth or not it's just where we are

01:00:50.800 uh enrico palazzo says tell keith woods uh to can the midwestern accent nobody is buying it

01:00:58.400 enrico you wound me to my core uh because i am not only not midwestern i've never been to the

01:01:05.040 midwest so unfortunately i just went to college and so i don't have an accent but uh yeah yeah i

01:01:11.600 suffer from i've lived i've lived nowhere but the south my entire life but because i was my dad was

01:01:16.400 in the air force we moved over a couple of years you know i've got on certain phrases i've got a

01:01:20.720 little bit of a draw but not you know i don't sound like i'm from tennessee or george or anything 0.98

01:01:24.800 yeah that non-regional addiction got both of us uh tiny stupid demon says once again i'm reminded 0.96

01:01:31.840 and reminding everyone that in the marketplace of ideas that is democracy punish my enemy and give 0.99

01:01:37.360 them their stuff away always triumphs yes absolutely patronage is the core of politics

01:01:45.520 uh altheist says conservatives need to learn that when 30 000 goss cross the rhine spending four years 0.96

01:01:52.720 debating with them on the merit of the roman constitution isn't going to stop them from 0.99

01:01:57.040 sacking rome yes absolutely correct uh the again everybody loves the home roman empire references

01:02:04.720 but only because there's a thousand things to learn uh in every aspect of it he also says the letter of

01:02:11.600 how do we say cassadoris included debates between gothic kings and roman senators the senator would point

01:02:17.040 to their constitution the goths pointed to their sword yes vae victus is always the correct 1.00

01:02:23.600 understanding of political reality uh passamu says might be tactically foolish to label libs as

01:02:31.280 socialist who's our audience boomers the socialism uh his socialism almost non-existent big problem is

01:02:36.720 his liberalism uh i i hear what you're saying but in this case it actually applies because he's literally

01:02:41.840 a socialist like i'm not like ah he he labeled himself as such he is part of the dsa like like

01:02:48.560 obviously that's not a real thing so they run as democrats uh but but he is literally a socialist when

01:02:55.200 he's posting his plans for new york and bullet points he puts a little socialist rose in front of each

01:03:00.880 one i i again i i hear you let's not run around calling everything communism or socialism but in this

01:03:06.480 specific case it is actually factually correct so he is just as much a rapper as he is a socialist

01:03:13.760 self-described on both counts that's right uh let's see if he i wonder if he's giving away all of his

01:03:20.720 music on soundcloud is he holding that all right guys uh that is the end of our super chats thank you

01:03:58.880 he was there uh i wouldn't wouldn't say i'm a friend of his by any means but the few conversations

01:04:04.240 i had with him he seemed like a great guy and sadly we recently received news of his passing uh so

01:04:09.840 as a guy who was who's very i think well regarded uh in our circles just want to acknowledge uh that

01:04:16.240 he'll be missed and i know uh you know you were obviously far closer to him than i but i think a lot of
