00:01:44.000 Alrighty, so the Democrats are beginning to get desperate.

00:01:47.000 And the reason they're getting desperate is because it looks more and more like 2022 is going to be a wave election for the Republicans, which Always seems to come as a shock to Democrats and members of the media, who since 2012 have declared to themselves that the political argument in the United States is essentially over.

00:02:03.000 In 2012, after Barack Obama won, despite winning fewer votes in 2012 than he did in 2008, and despite his rather large-scale unpopularity, the unpopularity of Obamacare, the lack of success of his financial aid programs and the slow economic growth, he won re-election.

00:02:18.000 And he did so on the basis of polarizing the American population and then appealing to members of the American population by racial and sexual orientation subset.

00:02:26.000 And the Democrats thought, we have now created a coalition for the future that we'll never lose again.

00:02:30.000 And so in 2016, when Donald Trump won, It rocked their world.

00:02:33.000 This simply could not be true.

00:02:34.000 It had to be some sort of extraneous force that couldn't have been predicted, that undermined their inevitable victory.

00:02:40.000 And so they blamed Facebook, and they blamed the Russkies, and they blamed all sorts of other extraneous factors.

00:02:45.000 They couldn't look harder at their own politics and realize that they had caused all of this.

00:02:49.000 Well, after Joe Biden won in 2020, the Democrats have done the same thing.

00:02:53.000 They believe that they now have a durable coalition that is never going to lose again.

00:02:56.000 And so when they look at the polls, And they realized that Americans don't much like their agenda.

00:03:00.000 That basically Joe Biden's victory hinged on him being an inanimate object who wasn't going to do much.

00:03:05.000 And now that Joe Biden has been pushing this world-beating, large-scale progressive program, most Americans are not into it.

00:03:11.000 That the wokeness from which Joe Biden has imbibed is actually poisoning the party.

00:03:17.000 The Democrats have no good answer to this.

00:03:19.000 And so they are beginning to panic.

00:03:19.000 And so yesterday, for example, you saw Stephanie Rule from MSNBC raising the question about a potential red wave in 2022.

00:03:27.000 She spoke with a political scientist named Rachel Beitkofer about her correctly predicting Democratic gains in 2022, and her concerns about Republican gains in 2018, and her concerns about Republican gains in 2022.

00:03:39.000 And here is what Beitkofer said.

00:03:41.000 Cities across the country are grappling with a serious surge in violent crime.

00:03:46.000 Now Republicans, like former President Trump, are seizing on that and trying to tie Democrats and their defund the police messaging to heading into next year, claiming that messaging is the reason for this spike in crime.

00:04:01.000 It's very bad news for Democrats with a razor-thin House majority and a tie in the Senate.

00:04:06.000 If Democrats do not fight back, what are the odds of a red wave?

00:04:12.000 They're excellent.

00:04:13.000 Okay, so the odds of a red wave are excellent.

00:04:15.000 Democrats know this.

00:04:15.000 Joe Biden knows this.

00:04:16.000 And he knows that basically after 22, his presidency is over.

00:04:20.000 Because if the Republicans win back the House in 2022, he no longer has any ability to pass any of this giant legislation he wishes to push.

00:04:27.000 He understands that he is probably a one-term president because he is fading and fading quickly.

00:04:31.000 His daily battles with the teleprompter are simply taking it out of the old man.

00:04:35.000 And this is a problem for the Democrats because waiting in the wings is the least charming politician in modern America.

00:04:40.000 Kamala Harris, who makes Hillary Clinton look like Cary Grant in terms of charm. 0.83

00:04:44.000 And so the fact that you've got a party that is sort of on the ropes but in control of all of the major levers of the government leads the Democrats to some pretty outrageous maligning of their political opposition.

00:04:56.000 They can't simply push forward their own agenda because their own agenda is not particularly popular. 0.93

00:05:00.000 Instead, they have to claim that everybody on the right is a racist, a sexist, a bigot, a homophobe.

00:05:06.000 They've been doing this for years, but now they've ratcheted into high gear.

00:05:09.000 Joe Biden, a man who was elected, as he said in his inaugural address, to unite America.

00:05:14.000 He was a president for all Americans, the ones who voted for him and the ones who didn't vote for him.

00:05:17.000 He was a president for everyone.

00:05:19.000 He was going to bring the country together around shared values.

00:05:22.000 Well, now Joe Biden has declared that if you are for voter ID, or if you don't like universal mail-in voting, or if you don't think that the state government should send people absentee ballots without them actually having to apply for an absentee ballot, Well, this means that you're basically akin to a Jim Crow racist, and not just that. 0.99

00:05:36.000 Anyone who promotes these policies is inherently tied to the droogs and idiots who decided to storm the Capitol building on January 6th. 0.98

00:05:42.000 And so the rallying cry for the Democrats has been January 6th. 1.00

00:05:45.000 Now, you may notice that January 6th, which was, again, a bunch of idiots, Taking President Trump's words and then using them as batons to wield against actual police officers, literal batons to wield against actual police officers, invading the Capitol building. 0.98

00:06:01.000 You may notice that the hundred million Americans, 150 million Americans who agree generally with conservative policies, were not involved in that. 0.99

00:06:09.000 You might've noticed that.

00:06:10.000 But for Democrats, you have to link the outrageous to the fully sane.

00:06:14.000 Because that way you can treat the fully sane as outrageous.

00:06:17.000 And so this is what Joe Biden busily did yesterday.

00:06:21.000 Joe Biden gave a speech yesterday that was the most polarizing of his presidency thus far, which is saying quite a lot, because he has already declared that if you want to pass voter ID, this means that you are a Jim Crow racist.

00:06:30.000 You remember, he said this over and over and over with regard to this Georgia voter law, which was actually more permissive with regard to voting than Joe Biden's home state of Delaware.

00:06:38.000 Well, Joe Biden did another speech yesterday in which he suggested once again that you need to vote Democrat not because they are going to propose good policies, not because they're going to fix any of your problems.

00:06:46.000 You need to vote Democrat because the other guys are Jim Crow racists who want to bring us back to the Civil War. 1.00

00:06:52.000 Now, if you believe this, I have to say you're an idiot. 0.99

00:06:55.000 If you truly believe that Republicans in places like Arizona and Georgia and Texas are trying to disenfranchise Black people, I would love to see a shred of evidence, like any shred of evidence, that this is the intent or the real impact. 1.00

00:07:08.000 Because the fact is, the Black population in the United States has been voting in very large numbers.

00:07:12.000 The reason that Raphael Warnock is in the Senate in Georgia is because Black Americans voted in large numbers.

00:07:17.000 The reason that Barack Obama was elected not once but twice is because of heavy Black turnout.

00:07:21.000 So the notion that black people are having their votes suppressed by the evil Republican Party is just unmoored from reality.

00:07:27.000 The same people who claim that it's utterly insane for Republicans to be doing vote audits with regards to the 2020 election promote their own form of conspiracism when they suggest that Republican voter ID laws are going to disenfranchise black people by the hundreds of thousands or millions.

00:07:41.000 But that's exactly what the President of the United States is claiming.

00:07:43.000 And he is linking that to the people who decided it would be a great idea to storm the Capitol building and threaten legislators.

00:07:49.000 Again, without evidence.

00:07:50.000 So here is Joe Biden labeling half the country the enemy, essentially.

00:07:54.000 There's an unfolding assault taking place in America today.

00:08:00.000 An attempt to suppress and subvert the right to vote in fair and free elections.

00:08:07.000 An assault on democracy.

00:08:10.000 An assault on liberty.

00:08:12.000 An assault on who we are.

00:08:15.000 Who we are as Americans.

00:08:17.000 We're facing the most significant test of our democracy since the Civil War.

00:08:22.000 That's not hyperbole.

00:08:23.000 Since the Civil War.

00:08:25.000 That's not hyperbole. 1.00

00:08:26.000 He's using that's not hyperbole the way that most other people who are idiots use the word literally. 0.99

00:08:31.000 Usually when your friend says literally, they mean not literally. 0.99

00:08:34.000 When Joe Biden says this is not hyperbole, and then he proceeds to explain that voter ID laws in states like Texas, Arizona, Florida, and Georgia, that these are the worst threat to democracy since the Civil War, that is the dumbest thing I have heard, at least for the last seven minutes, from Joe Biden. 1.00

00:08:52.000 It is impressively stupid. 0.98

00:08:54.000 No need to go through the, you know, century-long history of Jim Crow, where black people were actively disenfranchised in states across the country, where black people were told that they had to pass a literacy test in order to vote, that they had to be poll-taxed in order to vote, when black people were actively pushed out of voting booths, when their families were threatened if they voted. 1.00

00:09:11.000 No, this is just like that, according to Joe Biden.

00:09:13.000 It's the worst threat since the Civil War. 0.70

00:09:14.000 That's nuts.

00:09:16.000 It's crazy.

00:09:17.000 And it's not just that that's crazy.

00:09:19.000 It's vicious because he is labeling half the country who simply want to see voter procedures shored up and who have serious questions about the conduct in the last election.

00:09:26.000 By the way, I don't think you have to think the last election was stolen to have serious questions about why it was, for example, that the Pennsylvania Supreme Court decided to simply overrule the Pennsylvania state constitution and rewrite voter law in Pennsylvania.

00:09:37.000 I don't think you have to think that the last election was stolen or that Donald Trump was the actual winner in order to wonder about the veracity of large-scale mail-in balloting as a trustable form of voting, generally speaking.

00:09:51.000 You can mitigate risks without having to say that the last election was stolen, but Joe Biden wants to tie all this stuff together and wrap a bow on it and then say that his political opponents are exactly the same kinds of people who are rushing the Capitol building.

00:10:04.000 Here is Joe Biden continuing along this path again.

00:10:06.000 He's lumping together everybody who agrees with voter ID, which, by the way, is more than half the country.

00:10:10.000 If you take polls, more than half of black Americans agree with voter ID.

00:10:13.000 He's lumping together all these people with people who stormed the Capitol building, and then also with Confederates, apparently.

00:10:19.000 Here is Joe Biden labeling more than half the country again, the enemy.

00:10:23.000 In America, if you lose, you accept the results.

00:10:29.000 You follow the Constitution.

00:10:31.000 You try again.

00:10:34.000 You don't call facts fake and then try to bring down the American experiment just because you're unhappy.

00:10:42.000 That's not statesmanship.

00:10:43.000 That's selfishness.

00:10:45.000 That's not democracy.

00:10:46.000 It's the denial of the right to vote.

00:10:49.000 Okay, I have to say that there is something truly maddening about the fact that Joe Biden goes out there and gaslights like this.

00:10:57.000 He says things like, if you lose an election, you just accept that you lost the election.

00:11:00.000 Weird, because for four years, we heard from Democrats, including people like Joe Biden, that Russian collusion had decided the election.

00:11:05.000 We had Adam Schiff out there every day on national television, on CNN, Wolf Blitzer, breaking news, that there was going to be some sort of fact that emerged showing that the Russians had subverted the 2016 election, and that the actual president of the United States should have been Hillary Clinton.

00:11:17.000 We saw this for four years.

00:11:19.000 We saw the intelligence apparatus of the United States under Barack Obama militarized against Michael Flynn, for example. 0.78

00:11:24.000 We saw the intelligence apparatus target Carter Page with a bad FISA warrant based on the Steele dossier, which turned out to be a gussied up piece of a DNC operative junk.

00:11:34.000 And then he has the temerity to talk about accepting election results.

00:11:38.000 According to Democrats, there hasn't been a legitimate Republican president elected in this country since 1988.

00:11:43.000 Hey, 2000 was a stolen election, according to Democrats.

00:11:46.000 2004 was only a result of 2000.

00:11:47.000 2016 was a stolen election, according to Democrats.

00:11:51.000 So I'm having a hard time seeing... Stacey Abrams is the legit governor of Georgia, according to the Democratic Party. 0.99

00:11:57.000 So I'm just wondering, who exactly on the left has been in the habit of accepting election results when they go the wrong way?

00:12:05.000 I'm missing it.

00:12:06.000 It seems like this is a problem that seems to be spanning all parties because respect for American institutions has hit the toilet in the last decade particularly.

00:12:15.000 But it didn't stop there.

00:12:16.000 Joe Biden then suggested that Republicans today are pushing 21st century Jim Crow.

00:12:19.000 This is so insulting to people who actually lived during Jim Crow.

00:12:21.000 It's so unbelievably insulting.

00:12:23.000 If you believe that your attempts to vote in 2021 are akin to your grandfather's attempts to vote in 1952 Alabama, You need to have your head examined, or you were dropped as a baby, or both.

00:12:35.000 Here is Joe Biden saying a morally egregious thing, and the media is just going along with this.

00:12:39.000 I'm noticing that there are not any sort of chyrons from CNN about how this isn't true, even though it is quite clearly not true.

00:12:46.000 Here is Joe Biden saying a quite clearly untrue and morally benighted thing.

00:12:50.000 This year alone, 17 states have enacted, not just proposed, but enacted 28 new laws to make it harder for Americans to vote.

00:13:01.000 Not to mention, and catch this, nearly 400 additional bills Republican members of the state legislatures are trying to pass.

00:13:13.000 The 21st century Jim Crow assault is real. 0.96

00:13:18.000 It's unrelenting.

00:13:20.000 It is not a Jim Crow.

00:13:21.000 Like, he lived through Jim Crow. 0.64

00:13:23.000 Hell, he was friends with half the Jim Crow senators. 0.85

00:13:25.000 So, Joe Biden doesn't... According to Kamala Harris, it was people like Joe Biden who tried to stop little girls from her, from going to desegregated public schools.

00:13:33.000 And this tool bag is out there saying that we're experiencing a new 21st century Jim Crow?

00:13:37.000 In what magical world are we experiencing a 21st century Jim Crow right now? 1.00

00:13:43.000 The most celebrated figures in America today Are black intellectuals or pseudo-intellectuals like Nikole Hannah-Jones and Ta-Nehisi Coates. 1.00

00:13:49.000 We had a black president twice.

00:13:51.000 Joe Biden is only a household name because he served as vice president under that black president.

00:13:55.000 Black voters out-represent, outstrip their percentage of the population in national elections these days.

00:14:00.000 In what way is this anything remotely like Jim Crow? 0.98

00:14:02.000 But again, they need the specter of Jim Crow in order to turn off your brain. 0.70

00:14:07.000 If you just listen to Joe Biden, you can't even consider voting for a Republican because after all, these people are all basically Bull Connor. 0.98

00:14:13.000 These people all just want to stop black people from voting. 1.00

00:14:16.000 It's a lie. 1.00

00:14:17.000 It's an overt, absolute lie.

00:14:19.000 And the media go along with it, of course, because they're not just going along with it.

00:14:21.000 They're propaganda outfits.

00:14:23.000 This is the thing that has truly undermined our faith in our institutions.

00:14:26.000 It used to be that if you didn't have faith in American institutions, at least you had some faith the media was going to hold those institutions accountable.

00:14:32.000 When the media decide that they are just the propaganda outlet for the institutions, so long as the institutions are run by Democrats, that's when Republicans start to feel like all of the odds are stacked against them to the point where they can no longer have their voices heard through any process.

00:14:45.000 We'll get to more of this in just one second, because truly, the supposed calm, unifying President of the United States is actually just a senility-ridden radical.

00:14:57.000 And it's an ugly prospect for the country.

00:14:59.000 We'll get to more of this in just one second.

00:15:00.000 First, let us talk about your investment strategy.

00:15:03.000 Wall Street has been fibbing for years, saying that a measly few percent is a good return on your stocks.

00:15:07.000 Well, it doesn't have to be.

00:15:08.000 Trading is so complex, you need a financial advisor, they say.

00:15:11.000 Well, maybe you don't.

00:15:12.000 All you need is Carnivore Trading, where they are crushing it, even when the market is tough.

00:15:55.000 Promo code Ben.

00:15:57.000 And this is the Democratic line.

00:16:07.000 And now, in order to fight the supposed Republican Jim Crow assault, this means that Democrats have every ability to undermine the actual functioning workings of democracy.

00:16:16.000 It's really impressive.

00:16:18.000 Do you see the unbelievable gaslighting and flip here?

00:16:21.000 So the idea here is that Republicans are subverting elections by saying that voters should have verifiable means of voting.

00:16:27.000 That is subverting elections.

00:16:28.000 That is the new Jim Crow. 0.98

00:16:29.000 Meanwhile, Texas Democrats, in order to stymie Republicans from pursuing this new Jim Crow, get to simply abscond from the state of Texas, violate the law, and shut down basic majoritarian democracy in Texas.

00:16:43.000 Unlike on the national level, where we have a 50-50 split in the Senate, there is no 50-50 split in Texas.

00:16:48.000 Republicans have an overwhelming majority in the state assembly in Texas.

00:16:52.000 And so Democrats came up with a strategy.

00:16:54.000 They didn't want to pass this voter ID law.

00:16:55.000 They didn't want to pass a couple of bills that suggested that boys should play with boys and girls with girls in sports.

00:17:00.000 And so they got on a plane and they flew to Washington, D.C.

00:17:03.000 in order to deny Republicans a quorum.

00:17:06.000 And these are the heroes of the day, according to the media.

00:17:08.000 If you undermine democracy by simply walking out of the chamber and leaving the state so that you can't be brought back to the chamber to vote in majoritarian fashion, now you're a hero.

00:17:17.000 You see, the filibuster is bad.

00:17:18.000 A long-held standard in the United States Senate that's supposed to promote debate and conciliation, that's really bad and anti-democratic.

00:17:26.000 But if an entire political party in Texas picks up That's on a private jet and flies to Washington, D.C.

00:17:32.000 while patting themselves on the back in order to deny the workings of democracy.

00:17:35.000 That's not only not anti-democratic, it is pro-democratic, you see.

00:17:39.000 Now, you may be saying to yourself, I don't see a consistent standard here.

00:17:42.000 Correct.

00:17:42.000 You don't.

00:17:43.000 There is none.

00:17:43.000 There is no consistent standard.

00:17:45.000 When it comes to the Democratic Party and the media, the answer is whatever forwards the agenda is good and whatever does not forward the agenda is Jim Crow. 0.67

00:17:52.000 And Joe Biden is fully on board with this because the way you hold political power, according to Joe Biden, is you gin up an enormous amount of faux outrage.

00:18:00.000 And then you claim that your political opponents are the equivalent of George Wallace standing in a schoolhouse door.

00:18:05.000 OK, so Texas Democrats absconded over the course of the last couple of days.

00:18:09.000 They just picked up and they got in a private jet and they left.

00:18:11.000 And they partied it up.

00:18:13.000 In fact, they were they were bragging about what a wonderful time they were having in Washington, D.C.

00:18:16.000 These are true emissaries of the people, by the way.

00:18:18.000 They got in a private jet.

00:18:20.000 And they brought along a case of Miller Lite, just in case any of them decided that their drinking habit couldn't last for the four-hour flight from Texas, from Austin to Washington, D.C.

00:18:29.000 Gene Woo, a Texas legislator, tweeted out a picture of what appears to be a Caesar salad with croutons.

00:18:36.000 He said, my fist meal as a fugitive.

00:18:37.000 I assume he meant first meal.

00:18:39.000 I don't want to know what he does in the privacy of his own home.

00:18:42.000 He said, my fist meal as a fugitive.

00:18:44.000 Delicious.

00:18:45.000 What a hero.

00:18:47.000 And then he tweeted out again.

00:18:48.000 Landed safely in DC.

00:18:49.000 Officially out of arrest jurisdiction of Governor Abbott.

00:18:52.000 It was wonderfully random.

00:18:53.000 It was wonderfully.

00:18:55.000 To randomly run into people who recognized me and applauded what we are doing.

00:18:58.000 Yes, I'm sure that that was happening a lot.

00:18:59.000 I'm sure that people were just randomly running into this anonymous state legislator, and they were like, that guy's a hero.

00:19:04.000 And then, we have a hero shot.

00:19:06.000 A bunch of Texas state legislators are standing, very solemnly, but happily, in front of the United States Capitol, because nothing says appealing to Texas voters quite like absconding to Washington, D.C., and asking the federal government to step in and quash the workings of the Texas state legislature.

00:19:21.000 Really, really solid Texas legislative stuff.

00:19:24.000 One of the congresspeople tweeted out, it takes a village.

00:19:26.000 On the bus from Dulles to D.C.

00:19:28.000 last night, doing the Lawrence O'Donnell show.

00:19:29.000 Oh! 0.60

00:19:30.000 The heroism.

00:19:30.000 Oh!

00:19:31.000 She was doing the Lawrence O'Donnell show from her cell phone?

00:19:33.000 My god, it's like Normandy.

00:19:35.000 Julie Johnson of Texas held the camera light.

00:19:38.000 C. Ordaz Perez plugged in my phone to her computer as it was dying.

00:19:41.000 Ramos for Texas found the bus outlet.

00:19:43.000 Hashtag Women Helping Women.

00:19:44.000 Yes, it's just like Malala Yousafzai trying to stump for Afghan women not being crammed into basements and clubbed and acid in the face for the crime of going to school.

00:19:54.000 That's Women Helping Women. 1.00

00:19:55.000 Women Helping Women is making sure that the camera is steady while you do a hit on Lawrence O'Donnell from your plush chartered bus. 1.00

00:20:03.000 to Washington, D.C.

00:20:04.000 Oh, the heroism.

00:20:06.000 They're stopping Jim Crow, guys. 0.95

00:20:07.000 So much stopping of the Jim Crow. 0.87

00:20:09.000 OK, so some of these Texas Democrats have been asked about their obvious hypocrisy and the ridiculousness of flying first class private jet, no masks to D.C. to appeal for the federal government's help. 0.63

00:20:22.000 And one Texas Democrat says, you know, we need to fly private. 0.90

00:20:24.000 It's like John Kerry.

00:20:26.000 I need to fly private.

00:20:28.000 I can't.

00:20:29.000 I'm important.

00:20:31.000 I can't fly with the peasants.

00:20:33.000 The peasants smell and have chickens.

00:20:36.000 There is a Texas Democrat explaining why they need, they must fly private.

00:20:42.000 When you break a quorum, you want to be successful.

00:20:43.000 So I think everybody wants to see, you know, 51, 52, 55 Democrats on the same plane.

00:20:48.000 That's reassuring.

00:20:48.000 Number two, you know, to get a flight out of town at a time certain with, you know, getting everybody to come in from across the state, you need to fly privately.

00:20:57.000 And as you can see from the picture, we're talking about using the same kind of plane that the public uses every day.

00:21:03.000 There's no fancy couches or anything like that.

00:21:05.000 This was just a regular plane that moved us from one state to another.

00:21:08.000 Well, they needed to, because they needed the reassuring picture of all of the Texas Democratic legislators fleeing the state.

00:21:14.000 The sort of self-congratulatory nature of this, that's just the beginning.

00:21:17.000 Texas Democrats, then, in one of the most cringeworthy political videos of the last couple of years, they gathered together to sing, We Shall Overcome.

00:21:25.000 You know, like the civil rights anthem, We Shall Overcome.

00:21:28.000 Because it turns out that stumping against voter ID and making sure that biological boys can play against girls, and then absconding from the state in order to ensure that, requires you to sing civil rights marching songs as though you are Martin Luther King and Selma. 0.76

00:21:40.000 These people are a joke.

00:21:42.000 We will overcome! 0.88

00:21:45.000 We will overcome!

00:21:48.000 We will overcome someday!

00:21:53.000 Deep in our hearts, I do believe we will overcome someday.

00:22:05.000 That's my kid's talent show right there.

00:22:09.000 That is not good stuff.

00:22:12.000 Number one, somebody.

00:22:13.000 Get somebody who can sing. 0.97

00:22:15.000 Number two, you know, I'm noticing usually when people do civil rights marches and they sing things like we shall overcome, I'm noticing an awful lot of lack of anyone giving a crap. 0.63

00:22:24.000 See, the difference between Selma and that is, you know, the dogs, the hoses, the armed police.

00:22:28.000 Here, it's just a bunch of Texas Democrats standing there, and their arm has stretched three inches from their inability to pat themselves on the back properly, without an actual physical arm stretching.

00:22:38.000 Okay, we'll get to more of this in just one second.

00:22:38.000 Unbelievable stuff.

00:22:40.000 Because again, these people are fighting Jim Crow. 1.00

00:22:41.000 They're fighting the worst excesses we have seen since the Civil War, said every idiot in the media. 1.00

00:23:55.000 Alrighty, so the Texas Democrats, they are just, they are over the moon about their own heroism here.

00:24:01.000 And they're being helped out, of course, by national Democrats.

00:24:04.000 Kamala Harris, she came out and she said, these people, they're such heroes.

00:24:11.000 The world-breaking heroism.

00:24:12.000 It's like the end of Independence Day when that guy took the biplane up into the belly of that giant alien spaceship and then blew it.

00:24:18.000 It's just like that.

00:24:19.000 It's unreal.

00:24:20.000 I mean, just such heroism.

00:24:23.000 It just makes you want to cry.

00:24:24.000 Here's Kamala Harris. 0.99

00:24:25.000 I'm being utterly insincere.

00:24:27.000 This is her only mode, by the way.

00:24:29.000 She's sort of like Ash from Alien.

00:24:30.000 If she starts to look too sincere, she starts to... Anyway, here she goes.

00:24:35.000 I know what you have done comes with great sacrifice, both personal and political.

00:24:42.000 And you are doing this in support and in defense of some of our nation's highest ideals.

00:24:52.000 Reporters ask me, well, you know, what do you think about the issue?

00:24:54.000 I say, look, defending the right of the American people to vote is as American as apple pie.

00:25:03.000 And then she's like on the verge of laughing.

00:25:05.000 You can never tell whether she's on the verge of laughing, which makes things very awkward and weird.

00:25:09.000 Like, what's she gonna do?

00:25:10.000 I don't know what's happening here.

00:25:12.000 I do love her line there.

00:25:13.000 The sacrifice you are undertaking.

00:25:15.000 Oh, the unbelievable sacrifice of being booked on Lawrence O'Donnell and somebody having to plug in your phone so it doesn't run out of battery.

00:25:20.000 The incredible sacrifice of being welcomed by the vice president of the United States and then heaped with praise.

00:25:25.000 It's like Jesus on the cross.

00:25:26.000 It's like these offerings that were offered in the temple.

00:25:30.000 The incredible sacrifice.

00:25:32.000 It's like the men of World War II storming beaches at Normandy.

00:25:35.000 I've never seen it.

00:25:36.000 It's like the civil rights marchers willingly being beaten in the streets for their beliefs.

00:25:40.000 That's you getting on a private jet, eating a crouton salad, and then sitting with Kamala Harris while she talks about how wonderful you are.

00:25:45.000 The sacrifice.

00:25:46.000 Oh, oh, mind-shattering.

00:25:50.000 Galaxy brain sacrifice there from these Texas Democrats.

00:25:54.000 So she met with them yesterday.

00:25:56.000 Joe Manchin was also expected to meet with the Democratic members of the Texas legislature, although a date and time have not been set yet.

00:26:03.000 This all is geared toward pressuring Manchin, really, because really the solution the Democrats are proposing is not what will eventually happen.

00:26:10.000 Texas Democrats go back to their houses and nothing happens and Republicans pass their bill.

00:26:14.000 Instead, what they are attempting to do is leverage Joe Manchin into passing the For the People Act, which is this garbage federalization of all voting policy, including mass ballot harvesting, including outlawing voter ID in the original iteration.

00:26:27.000 What they want is for Joe Manchin to throw out the filibuster. 0.96

00:26:30.000 And so they're going to try and pressure him with all of these dumb tactics. 0.56

00:26:33.000 And again, this is something the media love to do with Texas. 0.92

00:26:36.000 They did this with Wendy Davis a few years back when Wendy Davis was yelling about how she loved abortion and she was wearing pink shoes and she was such a heroine.

00:26:45.000 And then she ran for governor and just got absolutely swamped by Greg Abbott.

00:26:47.000 It's the same thing with Texas Democrats.

00:26:50.000 Meanwhile, the Texas governor says, you know, I can't just arrest you.

00:26:54.000 And if you come back here, I can't arrest you.

00:26:56.000 And by the way, he does have the legal ability to arrest them.

00:26:59.000 Under Texas law, the rule is that you can basically go compel legislators to show up because they understand that this is sort of a problem, and if you're denied quorum, it stops all of the business.

00:27:10.000 According to House rules adopted at the beginning of the regular session, according to the Texas Tribune, two-thirds of the 150-member chamber must be present to conduct business.

00:27:17.000 When the House is in session, legislators can vote to lock chamber doors to prevent colleagues from leaving, and can order law enforcement to track down lawmakers who have already fled.

00:27:24.000 If a quorum is not present when the House convenes, any House member can move to make known what's known as a call of the House to, quote, secure and maintain a quorum to consider a certain piece of legislation, resolution, or motion under chamber rules.

00:27:35.000 That motion must be seconded by 15 members and ordered by a majority vote.

00:27:38.000 If that happens, the missing Democrats become legislative fugitives.

00:27:42.000 It's just like, I mean, there's such, it's like Harris and Ford.

00:27:44.000 They're going to throw themselves over a waterfall while Tommy Lee Jones goes, I don't care.

00:27:49.000 The House rules say, all absentees, for whom no sufficient excuse is made, may, by order of a majority of those present, be sent for and arrested, wherever they may be found, by the Sergeant-at-Arms, or an officer appointed by the Sergeant-at-Arms, for that purpose, their attendance shall be secured and retained.

00:28:01.000 The House shall determine on what conditions they shall be discharged.

00:28:04.000 Now, it's difficult to compel Democrats to shut- the reason they fled the state is because it's difficult to send, like, the Texas Rangers over to Washington, D.C.

00:28:11.000 to pick up these, uh, these... 0.98

00:28:13.000 Ridiculous Texas state legislators. 0.89

00:28:15.000 The House voting bill is passed by the committee over the weekend would rein in local voting initiatives like drive-thru and 24-hour voting. 0.89

00:28:20.000 Because as it turns out, 24-hour voting is very difficult to keep tabs on.

00:28:24.000 But further tighten the rules for voting by mail, bolster access for partisan poll watchers, and ban local election officials from proactively sending out applications to request mail-in ballots.

00:28:32.000 Okay, so that is where things currently stand.

00:28:35.000 Meanwhile, the Texas, again, the Texas state Democrats are so obnoxious. 0.86

00:28:39.000 I mean, just on an objective level, they are obnoxious.

00:28:42.000 Texas State Representative James Tallarico tweeted out this.

00:28:46.000 He tweeted out, come and take it.

00:28:48.000 Said, here's my response to Governor Abbott saying he's going to arrest us.

00:28:50.000 Come and take it.

00:28:52.000 Oh.

00:28:53.000 Come and take it. And what a hero, James. Such heroism.

00:28:58.000 Mitch McConnell rightly pointed out, I've noticed that you guys are suddenly very concerned about legislative minority rights.

00:29:03.000 You're the same people who want to wreck the filibuster on the federal level. So that's weird.

00:29:05.000 Notice that the Democrat minority in the Kentucky, in the Texas legislature is up here today. And I think it's quite interesting to see the Democratic majority in the Senate concerned about minority rights in the state senate in Texas.

00:29:26.000 I I guess if you live long enough, you'll see almost anything around here.

00:29:31.000 True enough.

00:29:32.000 But again, this is all part and parcel of the broader Democratic push, which is going to fail, by the way, because Americans don't believe this.

00:29:37.000 They do not believe that we are on the verge of a new Jim Crow because we aren't. 0.65

00:29:39.000 They don't believe that Republicans are attempting to widely suppress the vote because they're not.

00:29:43.000 And there's no evidence of that.

00:29:44.000 And so if this is the best Democrats can do, they're going to get swamped. 0.99

00:29:47.000 And the reason they're going to get swamped is because they suck at this.

00:29:49.000 It turns out that standing athwart the government and shouting at Donald Trump is a lot more lucrative politically than actually having to run the country.

00:29:56.000 And Democrats have been focused on blowing out the budget And backing woke movements that are anti-American in orientation.

00:30:03.000 We'll get to that in just one second, because the Biden administration foreign policy is really heading down a pretty ugly path right now, like a seriously ugly path right now.

00:30:11.000 We'll get to that in just one second.

00:30:13.000 First, let us talk about the fact That if you are a responsible human being, you need to make sure that your family has life insurance.

00:30:18.000 If you're walking across the street and you get hit by a tractor trailer, you need to make sure that your family is at least financially okay.

00:30:24.000 And that is why life insurance is necessary.

00:30:26.000 But most people get life insurance through word of mouth. 0.98

00:30:28.000 This is a dumb way to get life insurance. 0.73

00:30:30.000 You should competitively shop it like you do everything else. 0.96

00:31:29.000 PolicyGenius, when it comes to insurance, it's nice and important to get it right.

00:31:32.000 Alrighty, we'll get to more on this in just one second.

00:31:35.000 First, this week we saw a man dressed as an over-sexualized rainbow monkey employed by a library to teach children to read. 0.90

00:31:41.000 Yes, good times.

00:31:42.000 Even worse than this is the normalization of such events.

00:31:44.000 By the left, it's a symptom of the culture we are living in, and I explain why in my new book, The Authoritarian Moment.

00:31:50.000 In it, I hope people understand as much as they can about how we reach this point, how we can all begin to fight back.

00:31:53.000 Here's the thing.

00:31:54.000 If you're a conservative, even a moderate in American society, even if you're a moderate liberal in American society, you feel it.

00:31:59.000 We all feel it.

00:32:00.000 We feel that there is this extraneous, exorbitant pressure from the major institutions of our society to agree. 0.98

00:32:07.000 And if you don't celebrate, Ridiculous things like rainbow monkeys teaching your children, then you will be destroyed. 1.00

00:32:14.000 They will cast you out into the cornfield. 0.99

00:32:16.000 There's something wrong with you.

00:32:17.000 The institutions of the United States have been renormalized and weaponized against traditional values.

00:32:22.000 How that happened, that's the subject of my new book, The Authoritarian Moment.

00:32:25.000 And more importantly, the book is about how to fight back against that.

00:32:28.000 It's a really important book.

00:32:29.000 It's now available for pre-order at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or any other major bookseller.

00:32:33.000 So go get your copy right now.

00:32:36.000 Also, if you know Candace Owens, you know she's always got something interesting to say.

00:32:40.000 And if you know her show, you can know pretty much anything can happen, like last night's interview with UFC fighter Benal Dariush, where they examine his love for America and his stand against the Marxist ideology that affected his family.

00:32:49.000 The episode dropped last night.

00:33:08.000 Alrighty, so meanwhile, the Biden administration, while declaring that, you know, American racism is at an all-time high and that Jim Crow is on the way, while they run the entire government, by the way, Bye.

00:33:24.000 They're now pursuing an anti-American policy.

00:33:26.000 It's an anti-American foreign policy.

00:33:28.000 I don't know how else to describe this tweet from Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

00:33:31.000 Now, I've given Blinken credit in the past for, for example, saying some relatively decent things about the Israel-Gaza conflict, for example.

00:33:41.000 I've given Blinken and the foreign policy team some credit for the things that Joe Biden said with regards to Vladimir Putin.

00:33:46.000 But this is truly egregious.

00:33:47.000 And the fact that it's been largely overlooked by the media is insane to me.

00:33:49.000 So he tweeted this out.

00:33:50.000 I completely missed this until one of my producers made me aware of it this morning.

00:33:53.000 It's wild.

00:33:54.000 Secretary of State Blinken tweeted this quote.

00:33:56.000 Responsible nations must not shrink from scrutiny of their human rights record.

00:34:00.000 Rather, they should be transparent with the intent to grow and do better.

00:34:03.000 That is why I'm announcing a formal invitation for the UN Special Rapporteur on Contemporary Forms of Racism to visit the United States.

00:34:12.000 This is patently mad.

00:34:13.000 I mean, it's crazy.

00:34:15.000 The United Nations is a- is the Mos Eisley of international politics. 1.00

00:34:18.000 It is a wretched hive of scum and villainy. 0.98

00:34:21.000 The notion that we should have auditors from Sudan and China and Russia and Malaysia and all of these other countries that can't hold a calendar to us in terms of human rights come and audit domestic American racism. 0.98

00:34:33.000 It's a political tool by Antony Blinken.

00:34:36.000 Which, so often, foreign policy is to Democrats.

00:34:39.000 This is why Barack Obama, in his very early days, before he was even president, did a European tour.

00:34:43.000 A lot of people in the United States were saying to themselves, why is Barack Obama, a senator in the United States, running for the American presidency, attempting to go abroad and do speeches in, like, Berlin and Paris?

00:34:53.000 And the answer is, because what Democrats really wish to do is suggest that other countries, their opinions ought to matter with regard to domestic American politics.

00:35:00.000 The rest of the world is judging us.

00:35:02.000 It's sort of Greta Thunberg syndrome writ large.

00:35:05.000 They're judging you.

00:35:06.000 And so, Antony Blinken literally wants to have members of the UN come and judge American racism. 0.99

00:35:11.000 That's pathetic, and it's anti-American. 0.94

00:35:13.000 No one has the moral stature to come into the United States, the most racially diverse place on Earth, most racially diverse democracy on planet Earth, and most racially tolerant diverse democracy on planet Earth, by the way. 0.99

00:35:26.000 And then start lecturing us on how racist we are.

00:35:28.000 And the fact that this administration is welcoming them in, they're welcoming them in in the same way that the Department of Justice under Merrick Garland is going to go into police departments and simply make up reports about how police departments are racist and then cram down consent decrees.

00:35:40.000 The idea here will be the UN issues a report on how terrible and racist America is.

00:35:43.000 And there it is, magically, the only way to alleviate this deep and brutal and abiding racism is to do all the things that Joe Biden wants to do.

00:35:52.000 So, Joe Biden and Antony Blinken can't convince you that America is racist and terrible, so they will bring in international institutions to call America racist and terrible, and deride the United States on the international stage, so that they can say we need to do all the things we already wanted to do, because after all, the world expects it of us.

00:36:08.000 It's not who we are. 0.96

00:36:10.000 It's so shameless, and it's so yucky.

00:36:13.000 The reality is that, as I talked about on the show yesterday and the day before, To most people who are seeking freedom on planet Earth, the United States is the place you go.

00:36:22.000 The United States is the place you go for racial tolerance.

00:36:25.000 The United States has a higher household income for Nigerian Americans than it does for white Americans.

00:36:30.000 It has a higher household income for Asian Americans than for white Americans.

00:36:33.000 For a supposedly white supremacist country, we're doing a horrible job of it here in the United States.

00:36:38.000 And yet, the continuous push from the Democrats is that America is deeply racist, and the whole goal here is to mobilize minority voters who supposedly are going to fight the revanchist Republican racism that inevitably will fall. 0.98

00:36:50.000 Despite the fact that, again, it does not exist, and it is very silly.

00:36:54.000 All of this is part and parcel of treating American foreign policy as basically a domestic political weapon.

00:36:58.000 It's not about spreading American values abroad.

00:36:59.000 It's not about liberating people.

00:37:01.000 It's not about ensuring a safer and more secure world for American interests.

00:37:04.000 It's not about any of those things.

00:37:06.000 It's about forwarding democratic domestic political interests. 0.99

00:37:08.000 It's all wag the dog crap. 0.97

00:37:10.000 It is all about doing things that benefit the Democrats politically, domestically. 0.99

00:37:15.000 I mean, that is why Joe Biden is pulling out of Afghanistan.

00:37:16.000 Make no mistake, that is not about forwarding American interests.

00:37:18.000 It's not about making America more safe, and it is not about protecting American troops.

00:37:22.000 It is about Joe Biden wanting to be able to say that he withdrew from Afghanistan, unlike all of his predecessors, and then thinking that the American people are going to cheer, even as women are stuffed back into burqas and stuffed back into basements, and the Taliban take over the country and continue to foster terrorism in the region. 0.53

00:37:37.000 Because Joe Biden wants the political win.

00:37:38.000 It is that simple.

00:37:40.000 And now when Secretary Blinken is welcoming in UN special reporters to talk about American racism, you know how much I care about what the UN has to say about anything having to do with morality?

00:37:49.000 This turd bucket of an organization?

00:37:52.000 I could not care less what the UN has to say about anything. 0.98

00:37:55.000 The UN is a despicable dumpster fire of an organization where we're supposed to take seriously countries like Yemen on human rights. 1.00

00:38:06.000 No.

00:38:07.000 The answer should be, by any patriotic president and any patriotic administration, no.

00:38:11.000 But instead, we're actively seeking out the opinions of the UN on American racism, which of course is designed solely to create pressure domestically.

00:38:17.000 And meanwhile, speaking of people we apparently refuse to judge...

00:38:21.000 The Iranians, the Biden administration has been desperate to make a nuclear deal with the Iranians again.

00:38:26.000 Not because the United States, under Biden, believes that it's in our best interest to make a nuclear deal with Iran.

00:38:30.000 No, it's all about domestic political consumption.

00:38:32.000 It's about the idea that he gets a win for somehow putting his name on a piece of paper, even if he's Neville Chamberlain and the mullahs are Hitlerian. 0.92

00:38:40.000 Put his name on a piece of paper and he gets the diplomatic win.

00:38:42.000 This is what Barack Obama did.

00:38:44.000 He signed an Iran nuclear deal and then it was touted by the media as a big win, even though it actually fostered Iranian terrorist regime.

00:38:51.000 Well, now we have a story.

00:38:53.000 And you'll notice the discrepancy between how the media covered this story and how the media covered, for example, the Saudi killing of Jamal Khashoggi, who was a Muslim Brotherhood-associated journalist who would write for the Washington Post.

00:39:04.000 You remember that Jamal Khashoggi was murdered at the Saudi embassy in Turkey, and this became an international scandal, and it caused a rift between the United States and the Saudi administration.

00:39:13.000 The media were really pushing that rift hard.

00:39:14.000 Well, now we have news that Iranian operatives planned to kidnap a Brooklyn author.

00:39:20.000 So the Iranians were trying to kidnap an Iranian-American journalist living in Brooklyn, according to the New York Times, who has been a sharp critic of the Iranian government and was the target of an international kidnapping plot orchestrated by an intelligence network in Iran, according to federal prosecutors.

00:39:32.000 In an indictment unsealed in federal court in Manhattan, four Iranians were charged with conspiring to kidnap the journalist and author Masih al-Najjad.

00:39:39.000 Ms.

00:39:39.000 Alinashad was not identified by prosecutors but confirmed in an interview she was the intended target of the plot.

00:39:45.000 Last year, Alinashad wrote in a newspaper article the Iranian government had unleashed a social media campaign calling for her abduction.

00:39:51.000 The four defendants all live in Iran and remain at large, the prosecutors said.

00:39:56.000 A fifth defendant accused of supporting the plot but not participating in the kidnapping conspiracy was arrested in California.

00:40:03.000 The indictment describes a plot that included attempts to lure Alinehjad, an American citizen, to a third country to capture her and forcibly render her to Iran.

00:40:10.000 So very much the same thing that the Saudis were doing to Khashoggi, although Khashoggi was in fact not an American national.

00:40:16.000 The intelligence official, Mr. Farahani, and his network used private investigators to surveil, photograph, and video record Alinehjad and members of her household in Brooklyn.

00:40:24.000 So, the Iranians were seeking to kidnap an American who is critical of them, and then essentially rendition her back to Iran where presumably she would have been jailed or executed.

00:40:33.000 Here is the response from the American State Department.

00:40:35.000 It's astonishing.

00:40:37.000 Again, the foreign policy being pursued by this administration is not in the interest of the United States.

00:40:42.000 It is blatantly anti-American.

00:40:44.000 When you're poo-pooing an administration that's attempting to actively kidnap Americans because you want to sign an appeasement deal with them, I don't know what else to call that except anti-American.

00:40:54.000 Here is the State Department statement.

00:40:55.000 You ready?

00:40:56.000 Quote, The Iranian government continues to deny Iranians their rights, including through severe restrictions on the rights to peaceful assembly, freedom of association, freedom of religion or belief, and freedom of expression.

00:41:05.000 The Biden administration will continue to call out and stand up to Iran's human rights abuses and will support others who do so, both here and in Iran. 0.76

00:41:11.000 This is a law enforcement matter, and we refer you to the Department of Justice for any further inquiries.

00:41:16.000 Oh, is it a law enforcement matter?

00:41:18.000 Because it seems to me it's an international relations matter.

00:41:21.000 When a foreign country attempts to abduct an American citizen, critical of them, it seems that that might implicate our foreign policy.

00:41:29.000 But you see how the Biden administration wants to sever any connection between their appeasement of Iran and Iran attempting to abduct an American citizen.

00:41:36.000 These are the same people, by the way, who are endlessly critical of the Saudi regime for what they did to Khashoggi, and largely correctly so. 1.00

00:41:44.000 When it comes to Iran, suddenly they've lost all willpower to link this to foreign policy at all.

00:41:49.000 Not a shock at all, because again, the policy of the Biden administration is to downplay any sort of rift or conflict with totalitarian countries, and to upplay the notion that the real threat to America is domestic and Republican in form.

00:42:03.000 The real authoritarians you need to worry about are Texas Republicans, not Cuban dictators, or Iranian mullahs, or Chinese dictators, or Russian authoritarians.

00:42:11.000 You don't have to worry about any of those people.

00:42:12.000 The people you need to worry about most are your next-door neighbors who voted for Trump.

00:42:15.000 Those are the people who are the greatest threat.

00:42:18.000 Meanwhile, by the way, I've noticed it is astonishing how quickly the Biden administration has flipped.

00:42:23.000 So you'll remember that during the Trump administration, there were a bunch of Syrian refugees, and there was a lot of talk about how many Syrian refugees we ought to allow into the country.

00:42:30.000 And Trump limited the number of Syrian refugees on the basis that we couldn't vet who these folks were.

00:42:34.000 We didn't know they were going to integrate well into the United States.

00:42:37.000 Maybe we should seek third-party places for them to live. 0.99

00:42:40.000 Maybe they could be taken in in Turkey.

00:42:41.000 Maybe they could be taken in in other Muslim countries. 0.98

00:42:43.000 There was no way to vet the people who were coming in.

00:42:46.000 However, there is a very, very long history in the United States of taking in Cuban refugees.

00:42:50.000 People have been floating.

00:42:53.000 The Chevys from 1954 off the coast of Cuba and to Miami in an attempt to find freedom.

00:42:59.000 And in fact, the Miami community, which is filled with Cuban American expatriates, is one of the most patriotic communities in the United States.

00:43:05.000 They love the country.

00:43:05.000 They love founding values because they understand the evils of communism.

00:43:09.000 Well, yesterday, Alejandro Mayorkas made clear that anybody who attempts to float from Cuba to Florida will immediately be turned back.

00:43:18.000 He said, you will not come to the United States.

00:43:19.000 Here's Mayorkas. 1.00

00:43:21.000 Allow me to be clear.

00:43:24.000 If you take to the sea, you will not come to the United States.

00:43:30.000 The time is never right to attempt migration by sea.

00:43:35.000 To those who risk their lives doing so, this risk is not worth taking again.

00:43:42.000 I repeat, do not risk your life attempting to enter the United States illegally.

00:43:48.000 Now I've noticed that it was the same Biden administration.

00:43:50.000 This Biden administration was attempting to end the third party holding of people who are applying for asylum status in Mexico.

00:43:58.000 And they were saying, no, no, no, people shouldn't have to stay in Mexico in order to apply for asylum.

00:44:02.000 So if you're crossing the Mexican border, then presumably that's okay.

00:44:05.000 We're supposed to catch you and we're supposed to release you, according to the Biden administration.

00:44:09.000 If, however, you flee Cuba because you hate communism, and you do so at the risk of your life and your family's life by floating a derelict craft 90 miles through shark-infested waters to Florida, then we are going to pick you up.

00:44:22.000 The Coast Guard is going to pick you up and drop you right back off in Cuba.

00:44:25.000 Hmm.

00:44:25.000 I wonder what the difference could be between their treatment of the Cubans who are attempting to escape a national communist tyranny and people who are attempting to cross the American southern border not because they are fleeing tyranny, not because they are seeking asylum, but simply because they are seeking economic opportunity in the United States.

00:44:40.000 Weird.

00:44:41.000 I wonder what the difference could be.

00:44:42.000 Could it be that a huge percentage of the people who are coming through the Mexican border are likely to vote Democrat and a huge percentage of the people who are floating from Cuba to Florida are likely to vote Republican?

00:44:52.000 Could that have anything to do with it?

00:44:54.000 I'm seeing some weirdness here.

00:44:56.000 And I'm not seeing Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez crying on the coast of Florida.

00:45:00.000 I'm not seeing her in her white outfit weeping at the inherent cruelty of taking families who have braved, again, shark-infested waters for 90 miles attempting to float cars to escape communist fear.

00:45:11.000 I'm not seeing her weeping on the coast.

00:45:14.000 I'm not seeing the kids in cages headlines anymore.

00:45:17.000 Very, very strange.

00:45:18.000 Very strange.

00:45:20.000 Except, of course, that it is not strange.

00:45:21.000 Once again, it's about domestic politics because for the Biden administration, it's always about domestic politics.

00:45:26.000 And if we have to make American interests subservient to the domestic politics of the Democratic Party, that is precisely what we will do.

00:45:33.000 Let me repeat, it is unpatriotic to welcome the United Nations to do a report on supposed American racism.

00:45:39.000 Let me repeat, there's a wild inconsistency in the Department of Homeland Security suggesting that we should let everyone through the southern border of the United States, but no one arrive from Cuba to Florida.

00:45:52.000 There is something going on here, but it is not anything remotely approaching a consistent policy.

00:45:58.000 It remains a rather shocking development that this administration has gotten as radical as it did.

00:46:03.000 I mean, some of us were warning about it, right?

00:46:04.000 Some of us were warning this was Bernie Sanders with Joe Biden's face on it.

00:46:08.000 That basically this administration was Bernie Sanders as Hannibal Lecter and he's just wearing around Joe Biden's not particularly sentient face at this point.

00:46:15.000 But that is pretty clear.

00:46:17.000 That is pretty clear.

00:46:19.000 What sort of solid support has come from this administration for the Cuban dissenters so far?

00:46:22.000 So far as I can see, none, by the way.

00:46:23.000 By the way, just your update on Cuba?

00:46:25.000 The Cuban forces are now arresting and unpersonning pretty much all of the dissenters who have been out in the streets.

00:46:33.000 The world is becoming a dimmer place under Joe Biden.

00:46:37.000 Joe Biden said America was back.

00:46:38.000 No, America's not back.

00:46:39.000 America's back to the Obama years, where we led from behind, where we were in America in retreat, on foreign policy, and where we spent all of our time navel-gazing about microaggressions in the United States so as to pretend that the great utopian program of the Democrats is somehow justified.

00:46:53.000 And if you are offended by something that you saw on Facebook, this means the Democrats get to radically expand the size, scope, and power of government in order to cure your personal ills.

00:47:02.000 The undermining of American principles and American rights continues apace.

00:47:07.000 It is a shocking and disappointing development.

00:47:09.000 The good news is that the blowback has become Democrats know it, which is why they're getting so rabid and hysterical about basically malign, basically benign voting laws in places like Texas and Arizona and Georgia.

00:47:22.000 Alrighty, we'll be back here later today with an additional hour of content.
