Summary

Joe Biden is back with a new strategy to win the 2020 Democratic primary, and it s based on one of the most surprising things that s happened in modern American politics: Celebrities are the new swing voters, and they re the key to getting people out to the polls in order to elect a Democratic presidential candidate in 2020. Joe Biden is turning to Hollywood to get his 2020 campaign on the right track, and he s doing so by tapping into the celebrity base to get them out and vote for him. In 2016, Hillary Clinton tried this strategy in 2016. And it didn t work. Now, Biden is going back to the well, and turning to celebrities to get voters out and turn out in droves to vote in the 2020 election. And in doing so, he s turning to George Clooney and his wife, Amal Clooney, to shore up his campaign and get out the vote in a way that s not only Democratic primary voters, but also the celebrities who can get out to vote and get people out in the polls to elect Joe Biden in the midterms in 2020 and beyond. Today's episode is all about how Hollywood is going to play a key role in 2020, and how they can help him win the White House in a primary that s becoming more and more Democratic in a year where there s less likely to be a repeat of 2016, and more likely to turn out and get more engaged in the voting booth in 2020 and beyond . the future of the Democratic presidential election, and the 2020 midterms. What's the difference between Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton? What s going to Joe Biden's 2020 campaign in 2020? What will it take? and Hillary s 2020 campaign what s the real difference between them why is Joe Biden s best chance of winning the 2020 presidential election or Hillary s chances of winning in the next election? And what s really going to be the difference maker? Is it more than just celebrity support and the celebrity support that Joe Biden getting out there to vote for Joe Biden who s running for president in 2020 or Hillary Clinton s chances in the primary is it really that much better than Hillary s chance of being re-elected in 2020 than Hillary Clinton in 2020 ? ? or is it just a matter of who's going to have the most celebrity support in the Democratic primary and who s actually going to vote the most votes in 2020 in the first place?

00:00:00.000 Well, folks, something is fascinating about the 2024 election.
00:00:03.000 Right now, if you look at the polling data, something unique is happening in modern American history.
00:00:08.000 The unique thing is that Republicans are now breaking into the low-likelihood voter camp.
00:00:15.000 So, typically speaking, when it comes to elections, the basic logic has been this.
00:00:20.000 Democrats win in high-turnout elections.
00:00:22.000 Republicans win in low-turnout elections.
00:00:24.000 This has been the theory behind why Republicans seem to outperform during midterm elections 2022, being an exception to that particular rule.
00:00:32.000 In 2016, there was low voter turnout, and Donald Trump won.
00:00:34.000 In 2020, there was very, very high voter turnout, and Joe Biden won.
00:00:39.000 In 2024, something unique is happening.
00:00:41.000 According to the New York Times, a new electoral divide has emerged in America.
00:00:45.000 This divide is not rooted in race, geography, age, or education.
00:00:47.000 Instead, it is engagement in democracy itself.
00:00:51.000 If you look at representation of all 200 million registered voters in the United States, what you see is that people who voted in the 2022 primary election are favoring Joe Biden in this election by a margin about 5%, 49 to 44.
00:01:06.000 When you look at people who voted, however, in the 2020 election, Donald Trump is leading.
00:01:14.000 And if you look at people who didn't vote at all in any of those elections, 2020 or 2022, Donald Trump is leading by 14 percentage points.
00:01:23.000 What this means is that if everyone voted among those 200 million registered voters, Trump would win.
00:01:30.000 It is not Biden who would win.
00:01:33.000 As Nate Cohn writes, in a reversal of one of the most familiar patterns in American politics, it appears that Donald Trump, not President Biden, would stand to gain if everyone in the country turned out and voted.
00:01:42.000 The pattern is the latest example of how the Trump brand of conservative populism has transformed American politics.
00:01:47.000 His candidacy galvanized liberals to defend democracy and abortion rights, giving Democrats the edge in low-turnout special and midterm elections.
00:01:53.000 But at the same time, early polls suggest, many less engaged and infrequent voters have grown deeply dissatisfied with Biden.
00:01:59.000 So is that about Trump?
00:02:00.000 Or is that about dissatisfaction with Biden?
00:02:02.000 I would suggest that that is about wild dissatisfaction with Joe Biden.
00:02:06.000 A poll today suggests that Donald Trump is now leading in, wait for it, Minnesota.
00:02:11.000 Minnesota by two points.
00:02:12.000 That is not a state that should be on the map for Donald Trump.
00:02:15.000 He is currently winning well outside the margin of error in Nevada, which he lost in 2020.
00:02:19.000 In other words, so many people are disillusioned with Joe Biden that he is losing even among voters who tend to be those low propensity voters.
00:02:30.000 This is a massive problem for him.
00:02:33.000 And so now he's going back to the well.
00:02:34.000 He's going back to the celebrity backers.
00:02:36.000 That's what he needs more than anything.
00:02:39.000 According to the Wall Street Journal, George Clooney and Julia Roberts headlined a Hollywood fundraiser Saturday and helped President Biden raise $30 million.
00:02:45.000 Robert De Niro narrated a campaign ad.
00:02:47.000 Mark Hamill dropped by the White House.
00:02:49.000 Now, one thing that you will notice about all of those people is that none of them are particularly young celebrities.
00:02:55.000 George Clooney, who you might think of as young, is 63 years old.
00:02:59.000 He is not a spring chicken at this point.
00:03:01.000 Julia Roberts is currently 56 years old.
00:03:05.000 These are not the celebrities who are going to get people out to the polls, if in fact celebrities do get people out to the polls.
00:03:10.000 Mark Hamill is of course quite old, and Robert De Niro is as old as Joe Biden is at this point.
00:03:17.000 So they're gonna try to drive the celebrities out.
00:03:20.000 As Axios points out, Hollywood stars could be the key to Biden's campaign.
00:03:24.000 Now, here's the thing.
00:03:24.000 In 2016, Hillary Clinton tried this strategy.
00:03:27.000 If you recall, the most cringe video of 2016, it was a bunch of Hollywood actors and actresses singing fight song at the DNC.
00:03:36.000 And it just made you wanna crawl up in a hole and die.
00:03:39.000 It was that cringy.
00:03:40.000 Well, now that is what Joe Biden is doing.
00:03:42.000 By the way, this also explains why Joe Biden has been pandering to Amal Clooney, who is George Clooney's wife, because George Clooney, I mean, that's just a pure payoff.
00:03:49.000 Amal Clooney was the person who helped write a wildly anti-Israel, ICC, International Criminal Court report that targeted the prime minister of the state of Israel.
00:03:59.000 And the Biden administration signaled that they were fine with sanctions being put on members of the ICC by the American government.
00:04:05.000 And then Biden reversed himself after George gave a phone call to the White House complaining on behalf of his wife Amal, and now George is leading fundraisers on behalf of Joe Biden.
00:04:14.000 We'll get to more on this in just one moment.
00:04:16.000 First, I have been and I will be traveling over the next few weeks, which means that my team and I really need to be careful about securing our internet connection.
00:04:22.000 We never know who might be tracking our internet activity, if public Wi-Fi has any sort of security, whether our internet is being censored by the local government, the kind of stuff that happens in China or Russia.
00:04:31.000 That's why when I'm on the road, I always use ExpressVPN.
00:04:34.000 ExpressVPN is a VPN provider that reroutes my internet connection to stop third parties like Wi-Fi admins and government agencies from spying on me.
00:04:40.000 Plus, ExpressVPN encrypts 100% of my traffic.
00:04:43.000 which protects all my private data from Wi-Fi hackers, like my bank logins or my credit cards.
00:04:48.000 ExpressVPN is the only VPN provider I trust and recommend.
00:04:50.000 It's incredibly easy to use.
00:04:52.000 Just tap one button and connect on any device. If you want to get serious about online security,
00:04:56.000 sign up right now at ExpressVPN.com slash Ben. You'll receive three extra months absolutely free.
00:05:02.000 That's E-X-P-R-E-S-S VPN.com slash Ben to get three extra months for free.
00:05:07.000 Expressvpn.com-slash-ben.
00:05:09.000 That's the VPN I've been using for years.
00:05:11.000 You should do the same.
00:05:12.000 Expressvpn.com-slash-ben.
00:05:14.000 Sure.
00:05:15.000 Sure, yes.
00:05:15.000 I'm sure that's what, yeah.
00:05:16.000 Like those of Biden's campaign extravaganza at the Peacock Theater could be his secret
00:05:20.000 weapon against former President Trump.
00:05:22.000 Sure, sure, yes.
00:05:24.000 I'm sure that's what, yeah.
00:05:27.000 The secret weapon is going to be the celebs.
00:05:30.000 I have to say my favorite story with regard to celebrity support for President Biden came
00:05:35.000 courtesy of the New York Times.
00:05:36.000 This is really quite hilarious.
00:05:38.000 According to the New York Times, Jeffrey Katzenberg, who's of course a big Hollywood star, Katzenberg has been called in as sort of an emergency narrative generator on behalf of Joe Biden, because of course he's lost the narrative in this election cycle.
00:05:55.000 And here is what Jeffrey Katzenberg then told Joe Biden, according to the New York Times.
00:06:02.000 Quote, if Mr. Trump is Scar from the Lion King, Mr. Katzenberg sees Mr. Biden as Mufasa, the wise father king.
00:06:09.000 Then the New York Times adds, it may not be the best analogy.
00:06:11.000 Scar kills Mufasa in a coup to take over the Pride Lands and it falls to Mufasa's son Simba to seek justice and topple the usurper.
00:06:18.000 The problem is that Hunter Biden slash Simba is in jail or will be in jail very soon for not being able to stay off the crack.
00:06:25.000 So I think that the story sort of breaks down here.
00:06:29.000 But the bottom line here is that Trump is now more widely popular with the American populace than Joe Biden by the New York Times data, which means that the Trump campaign has to put enormous effort into getting out the vote and obviously into shutting down voter fraud.
00:06:45.000 And they are pledging to do both of these things.
00:06:47.000 And if you want to volunteer to help us turn out the votes in your neighborhood, sign up to get Trained at TrumpForce47.com.
00:06:57.000 TrumpForce47.com.
00:07:00.000 We have to do a job here.
00:07:02.000 We have to do a big, beautiful job.
00:07:04.000 And just remember that date.
00:07:07.000 Okay, so he has to do the on-the-ground work.
00:07:10.000 This has been the biggest obstacle to the possibility of a Trump victory.
00:07:13.000 I've been saying this since the beginning of the election cycle.
00:07:16.000 The biggest obstacles to Donald Trump winning are, one, Donald Trump saying things, as we'll get to in a moment, because the debate is coming up, and two, Donald Trump's ground game.
00:07:25.000 Democrats are gonna have their ground game.
00:07:26.000 It's gonna be ready to go.
00:07:27.000 They've had an excellent ground game for as long as I have been alive, and it's gotten better and better.
00:07:31.000 Their ground game is truly spectacular.
00:07:33.000 Republican Party ground game has been very weak, except in states like Florida.
00:07:37.000 So, Trump had better be expending the resources.
00:07:40.000 The Trump campaign had better be expending the resources.
00:07:42.000 Hell, I'm a donor.
00:07:43.000 I'm hoping they're expending my resources in order to get out to vote in November.
00:07:47.000 So that is one half of the equation.
00:07:49.000 The other half of the equation is that it's one thing for Donald Trump to complain about the possibility of voter fraud.
00:07:55.000 That possibility is quite real.
00:07:57.000 I mean, according to the New York Post, welfare offices and other agencies in 49 states are providing voter registration forms to migrants without requiring proof of citizenship.
00:08:06.000 leading Republicans and conservatives to call for swift federal action to stop the handouts.
00:08:11.000 Every state but Arizona gives applicants for either welfare benefits, driver's licenses,
00:08:14.000 or in some cases, mail-in ballots, voter registration forms, without demanding proof
00:08:19.000 of citizenship. Now again, how many of those ballots end up being turned in and signed by
00:08:24.000 illegal immigrants? Probably very few.
00:08:27.000 And there are processes, supposedly, for weeding out those ballots.
00:08:30.000 With that said, Republicans are going to start moving on the federal level to bar this sort of practice.
00:08:35.000 The House Administration Committee last month approved the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act to require states to receive a proof of citizenship when anyone registers to vote by mail, at a DMV, or at a welfare agency office.
00:08:48.000 Now, why Democrats would oppose this is absolutely beyond me.
00:08:52.000 Unless they are very, very much fine with the possibility of people not actually showing ID to vote, which suggests they are fine with the possibility of voter fraud.
00:09:02.000 Lara Trump, who is the daughter-in-law of President Trump and who recently took over as head of the RNC, she says we're going to crack down on those who commit voter fraud and she's pledging an army of attorneys to prevent voter fraud.
00:09:14.000 Here she was at TPUSA over the weekend.
00:09:17.000 Also sending a loud and clear message out there to anyone who thinks about cheating in an election.
00:09:22.000 If you cheat in an election, we will find you, we will track you down, and we will prosecute you to the full extent of the law.
00:09:30.000 So here's the thing.
00:09:30.000 The excuses are gone.
00:09:32.000 That means that this election is Donald Trump's to lose.
00:09:35.000 He is the one who runs the RNC.
00:09:36.000 His daughter-in-law runs the RNC.
00:09:38.000 He has a massive campaign.
00:09:39.000 He has millions of dollars in the war chest.
00:09:42.000 That means there's no excuse for not getting out the vote for Republicans in the swing states, and there's also no excuse for not having an army of lawyers at the polling places to ensure that every legal vote is counted.
00:09:55.000 So, that's problem number one that theoretically the Trump campaign should solve.
00:09:58.000 And then there's problem number two.
00:10:00.000 The debate is coming up.
00:10:01.000 The rules for the debate have apparently now been set.
00:10:05.000 According to CNN, with less than two weeks until the first presidential debate of the 2024 election cycle, CNN has released additional details on the parameters agreed upon by the Trump and Biden campaigns.
00:10:15.000 Now again, this whole thing has been stacked by the Biden campaign from the outset.
00:10:19.000 When they offered debates on CNN and ABC, and immediately they had the dates and the moderators all lined up, that means it was preset with those networks before Joe Biden even issued the challenge.
00:10:30.000 Donald Trump, because sort of like Marty McFly in Back to the Future 2, he doesn't want to appear chicken, instead of saying, listen, let's settle on what those debates look like before simply accepting, instead, he simply accepted the debate.
00:10:43.000 And that is going to put him at a systemic disadvantage because, of course, the moderators in these debates are going to be wildly biased against Donald Trump.
00:10:52.000 The first debate will be hosted by Jake Tapper and Dana Bash, both of whom clearly do not want Donald Trump to be president and both of whom obviously also believe that Donald Trump is a threat to democracy, which means the entire debate, if they have their druthers, is going to be about January 6th and election 2020.
00:11:08.000 This is the single greatest threat to Donald Trump retaining the presidency in this election cycle.
00:11:15.000 If Donald Trump falls for that trap, that is the biggest mistake he can make.
00:11:19.000 He needs to have a swift and a quick comeback line.
00:11:23.000 If they say, you know, Mr. President, you tried to lead an insurrection on January 6th.
00:11:27.000 You can say, listen, Jake, I disagree with your characterization of what happened on January 6th, but let's point something out.
00:11:33.000 January 6th happened in 2020.
00:11:35.000 The year is now 2024.
00:11:37.000 And there's one thing the American people know.
00:11:38.000 That thing is, they saw me as president and they saw Joe Biden as president.
00:11:42.000 Their lives under me were much better than they are under Joe Biden because everyone knows Joe Biden is a terrible president.
00:11:48.000 He needs to keep shifting fire back to Biden.
00:11:51.000 Instead of getting defensive, instead of talking about election 2020, which he is wont to do because President Trump loves talking about what he believes was a rigged election in 2020.
00:12:03.000 And in some ways, he's right.
00:12:04.000 Obviously, the media were very, very motivated to lie during the election cycle, the hiding of the Hunter Biden laptop story, the changing of all the voting.
00:12:12.000 Like, all of that's true.
00:12:13.000 But talking about that stuff is not going to win him votes.
00:12:16.000 The thing that is going to win Donald Trump votes in the debate is focusing in on Joe Biden's actual record.
00:12:22.000 We'll get to more on this in a moment.
00:12:23.000 First, Grand Canyon University is a private Christian university in beautiful Phoenix, Arizona.
00:12:28.000 GCU believes our Creator has endowed us with certain unalienable rights, life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
00:12:33.000 GCU equips you to serve others in ways that promote your flourishing, creating a ripple effect of transformation for generations to come.
00:12:38.000 Whether you're pursuing a bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree, Grand Canyon University's online, on-campus, and hybrid learning environments are designed to help you achieve your goals.
00:12:47.000 GCU has over 330 academic programs as of September 2023.
00:12:51.000 Find your purpose today at Grand Canyon University.
00:12:54.000 Private.
00:12:55.000 Christian.
00:12:55.000 Affordable.
00:12:56.000 Visit gcu.edu.
00:12:57.000 That's gcu.edu.
00:13:00.000 The debate is only 90 minutes and now, apparently, it's going to include two commercial breaks.
00:13:07.000 That is the first time presidential debates have included commercial breaks.
00:13:10.000 Trump should have just said no.
00:13:11.000 He should have said I'm not doing the debate if there are commercial breaks.
00:13:14.000 Because Donald Trump has the stamina to stand there for 90 minutes.
00:13:16.000 Does Joe Biden?
00:13:19.000 Both candidates agreed to appear at a uniform podium.
00:13:22.000 Microphones will be muted throughout the debate except for the candidate whose turn it is to speak.
00:13:27.000 No props or pre-written notes will be allowed on the stage.
00:13:30.000 Candidates will be given a pen, a pad of paper, and a bottle of water.
00:13:33.000 There will be no studio audience either.
00:13:34.000 So in other words, CNN is rigging this thing as much as it can in favor of Joe Biden.
00:13:38.000 No studio audience.
00:13:39.000 The studio audience would certainly be much more prone to support Donald Trump because half the Democratic Party is angry at Joe Biden.
00:13:46.000 Muting the microphones is going to prevent the sort of thing where Donald Trump can jump in and get in a one-liner like he did with Hillary Clinton.
00:13:55.000 Where she was talking about how terrible things would be if Donald Trump was president.
00:13:58.000 He said, if I were president, you'd be in jail.
00:14:00.000 Donald Trump does have the ability for both good and evil to throw a quip in there.
00:14:05.000 He's not gonna be able to do that because he is going to be muted.
00:14:10.000 In order to meet CNN's qualifications for the debates, candidates must satisfy the requirements to serve as president, but also you have to appear on a sufficient number of state ballots to reach the 270 electoral vote threshold to win the presidency.
00:14:25.000 You also have to receive at least 15% in four separate national polls of registered or likely voters that meet CNN's standards for reporting.
00:14:32.000 It's not impossible for Robert F. Kennedy to theoretically make the debate.
00:14:36.000 He's received at least 15% in three of the qualifying polls so far, but he's only on the ballot in six states.
00:14:41.000 He's only eligible for 89 electoral votes.
00:14:44.000 So it's possible RFK could theoretically sneak on the stage.
00:14:47.000 The bottom line though here is that when it comes to the debate, the biggest threat for Donald Trump is talking about January 6th and 2020 endlessly.
00:14:55.000 And then there's the other big threat in the debate.
00:14:56.000 And that is the threat that's happening right now in real time.
00:15:00.000 That is the lowering of the debate bar.
00:15:03.000 So right now, if Donald Trump is smart, what he should do is he should say, listen, we can all see that Joe Biden is ailing.
00:15:09.000 We can all see that he's really old and he's falling apart.
00:15:11.000 With that said, the State of the Union Address proves that you can shoot that guy up with whatever you need to do to get him to be mildly alive.
00:15:19.000 Mostly dead, I love the Princess Bride, is still a little alive.
00:15:23.000 Alive enough to stand there for around 90 minutes.
00:15:26.000 This debate is not going to be about Joe Biden's mental capacity.
00:15:29.000 This debate is going to be about Joe Biden as President of the United States and his terrible record on everything from the economy, to the border, to foreign policy.
00:15:37.000 And he should set up that expectation in advance.
00:15:39.000 He should be saying, right now, everybody's talking about Joe Biden freezing up and ailing and all of that, and that's all true.
00:15:45.000 But, they're gonna jab him full of something, and he will be lively and sprightly and angry Joe.
00:15:51.000 And it's my job to simply point out what a bad president he has been.
00:15:55.000 You should be saying that from now, for the next 10 days, up until the election.
00:15:59.000 Because otherwise, what's happening right now is good for the Trump campaign generally, which is the widespread perception that Joe Biden is not mentally competent to be President of the United States.
00:16:09.000 But it's very bad for the debate, because if Joe Biden even shows up and doesn't die, then he wins.
00:16:14.000 That's how low the bar is right now.
00:16:16.000 If Joe Biden is simply breathing, if he has a pulse, By the end of the debate, if he has not soiled himself on stage, then he will be deemed a sprightly elderly winner of the debate by the media.
00:16:29.000 So that is the double-edged sword that is inherent in Joe Biden's physical precariousness.
00:16:32.000 Now, with that said, Joe Biden had a very, very rough week in terms of physical precariousness.
00:16:38.000 So a clip that went viral over the weekend is at this aforementioned fundraiser held by George Clooney and Barack Obama and Jimmy Kimmel.
00:16:46.000 By the way, I remember a time when the networks would not allow their comedy hosts to involve themselves in these sorts of things, but obviously we're long past that.
00:16:51.000 Jimmy Kimmel is just a prop for the White House at this point.
00:16:55.000 At the very end of this event, Joe Biden is doing this weird thing that all these candidates do where they walk around the stage clapping for themselves, which I don't really understand, and they clap to the crowd and all this, and he freezes up.
00:17:05.000 He appears to freeze up near the end of this to the extent that Barack Obama has to physically take his hand and then start to lead him off the stage.
00:17:15.000 He grabs him around the back to guide him as though they're best buddies, even though in truth, Barack really cannot stand Joe Biden and never could.
00:17:21.000 Here's what that looked like.
00:17:23.000 Okay, so right now he's still okay, but then there he is, he freezes.
00:17:28.000 Right, he's just staring out into the audience.
00:17:31.000 Jimmy Kimmel's trying to pop him, but it's obviously awkward.
00:17:33.000 And then Barack reaches over and he grabs his hand and he starts to, and he like reminds him
00:17:39.000 where they're supposed to go.
00:17:40.000 And then Joe Biden, who barely can walk.
00:17:43.000 I mean, Barack Obama still walks like a normal person because Barack Obama is 20 years younger than Joe Biden.
00:17:47.000 But Joe Biden then staggers off the stage being guarded by his ex-president night nurse back to the early bird dinner at the old age home.
00:17:58.000 So it's a bad look, obviously.
00:18:00.000 And that's the full tape.
00:18:00.000 I mean, what we showed you there is the full tape.
00:18:02.000 And as I said right before that, he was waving to the crowd, but then he sort of freezes up.
00:18:06.000 Now, this became subject of an enormous number of blowback fact checks from the left-wing media, who declared at the behest of the White House that actually, actually, everything was fine.
00:18:17.000 How dare you suggest that he froze up?
00:18:21.000 According to Andrew Bates, who's the White House Senior Deputy Press Secretary and bootlicker, quote, Now again, they're using the term fake completely mistakenly here.
00:18:34.000 The clips that we show on the show are actual real footage.
00:18:37.000 What they are claiming is that they are cut too narrowly to make it look as though Joe Biden is freezing up.
00:18:44.000 The problem, of course, is that people can see with their eyes the President of the United States, that he is diminished in capacity.
00:18:49.000 But Andrew Bates says, fresh off being fact-checked by at least six mainstream
00:18:53.000 outlets for lying about the president with cheap fakes, Rupert Murdoch's sad little super PAC,
00:18:57.000 the New York Post, is back to disrespecting its readers with an apostrophe in its wrong. And once again,
00:19:04.000 and itself once again, their ethical standards could deal with a little unfreezing. Okay,
00:19:09.000 my dude.
00:19:11.000 Let me explain.
00:19:12.000 The thing about the clip that makes it so awkward is that Barack Obama clearly perceives that Joe Biden has frozen.
00:19:18.000 That's what's weird about the clip.
00:19:20.000 It's not just that Joe Biden freezes.
00:19:21.000 It's that Barack Obama so clearly perceives that he has frozen that he reaches over, as you or I would do with a grandparent, And takes the President of the United States by the hand in order to get his attention and turn him.
00:19:35.000 And here's the problem.
00:19:37.000 This is like the second time this happened this weekend.
00:19:40.000 We'll get some more on this in one moment.
00:19:41.000 First, you know what's stupid?
00:19:43.000 Anybody suggesting that Joe Biden is totally with it these days.
00:19:46.000 That's really, really stupid.
00:19:47.000 You know what's not stupid?
00:19:48.000 Getting life insurance, especially for maybe Joe Biden.

00:20:41.000 That's policygenius.com slash Shapiro.
00:20:45.000 So he was at the G7 and there was some sort of parachutist reenactment because it was surrounding Normandy and all of this.
00:20:53.000 And Joe Biden, you can see all the other G7 leaders are standing there and they're watching the parachutist in front of them.
00:21:00.000 Joe Biden is somehow distracted, apparently, by a parachutist who's off to the side.
00:21:05.000 And so he starts randomly talking to the parachutist off to the side.
00:21:10.000 And, like, what's he doing?
00:21:13.000 It's so bad that the head of the EU Has to turn to him, Ursula von der Leyen, and literally redirect him.
00:21:22.000 She's like wandering off and talking to this guy who's just packing up his parachute.
00:21:27.000 So good.
00:21:28.000 George Maloney, who's the head of Italy, literally has to walk over and tell Joe Biden that they're about to take a picture.
00:21:33.000 You can play the whole clip from the beginning.
00:21:36.000 Here we go.
00:21:37.000 So, there they are, they're all clapping for the parachutist who's right in front of them.
00:21:40.000 Joe Biden sees another parachutist who's, like, packing up his gear, and he starts wandering off-screen to go and find this other parachutist and talk to him.
00:21:47.000 The parachutist, for what it's worth, literally doesn't even know that Joe Biden is there.
00:21:51.000 He's just there, packing up his parachute back into his bag, and Joe Biden starts, like, randomly mumbling to him.
00:21:55.000 And George Maloney Who's the only relatively popular leader in the G7, maybe the only good leader there.
00:22:02.000 She literally has to go to Joe Biden, find him, turn him around back toward the camera, and then Joe Biden slowly slides on those sunglasses so he looks like Dark Brandon or whatever the stupid meme is that they're trying to do.
00:22:17.000 Herein lies the problem.
00:22:18.000 We can all see it.
00:22:20.000 And if that wasn't enough for you, over the weekend, he was confronted by some sort of Instagrammer or YouTuber at a White House event.
00:22:27.000 And I know you're a typical press guy.
00:22:28.000 You're grabbing me in front of this all of a sudden.
00:22:31.000 And I trust you as far as I throw your phone.
00:22:33.000 I have a good arm, man.
00:22:34.000 Absolutely.
00:22:34.000 I can throw it a long way.
00:22:35.000 But my point is this.
00:22:36.000 That doesn't make sense.
00:22:40.000 My point is, long pause.
00:22:41.000 I have made very clear to the Israelis.
00:22:45.000 And then he threatens the Israelis, of course, because in the middle of a conflict between Israel and Hamas, we know this president has to have the Dearborn vote, so he threatens the Israelis.
00:22:51.000 This is his shtick right now.
00:22:52.000 Are the U.S.
00:22:52.000 going to cut off funding?
00:22:54.000 I can't because usually you tell me I have a nice suit and you didn't comment on my suit today, so I don't feel... No, no, no, no, no.
00:23:01.000 He says that they'll do a lot if Israel doesn't listen to them.
00:23:04.000 But, like, first of all, just mentally incompetent.
00:23:08.000 Not with it.
00:23:09.000 It doesn't even... Let me just point out, it doesn't make any sense what he is saying.
00:23:12.000 He literally says to the guy, I can trust you as far as I can throw your phone.
00:23:16.000 And I can throw your phone a long way, because I'm a... I got a real arm.
00:23:19.000 I used to play baseball for the St.
00:23:21.000 Louis Browns back in the day.
00:23:25.000 Well, if you can throw the phone a really long way, that means you trust him a lot.
00:23:28.000 You idiot.
00:23:29.000 But again, this is like, he is not with it.
00:23:32.000 And that is why every attempt to paint him as something that is not a broken toy at this point is just hilarious.
00:23:39.000 It's just none of it makes any sense.
00:23:42.000 You got Mark Cuban out there trying to defend him by attacking Bill Ackman.
00:23:47.000 He says that he's so consumed with pandering to his Twitter followers, you have lost all objectivity.
00:23:50.000 I'll let you in both in on a secret.
00:23:52.000 Both candidates are old.
00:23:54.000 Very old.
00:23:55.000 They're both going to have senior moments, misremembers, forget things, and have physical frailties.
00:23:59.000 I'll tell you a not-so-great secret.
00:24:00.000 One is great at soundbites, but also thinks in soundbites.
00:24:03.000 The other is awful at soundbites, but thinks in complete sentences.
00:24:06.000 First of all, Joe Biden doesn't think in complete sentences, unless you count sentences like, I like pie.
00:24:13.000 That is technically a complete sentence, but that is as far as his thoughts go.
00:24:16.000 Secondarily, the real problem with Joe Biden's presidency is not his incompetence.
00:24:19.000 I've mentioned this before.
00:24:20.000 His mental incompetence is simply the icing on the cake of his actual incompetence.
00:24:26.000 He is a terrible president who also happens to be non-compos mentis.
00:24:31.000 He happens to have dementia, and that is the icing on the cake of him being unbelievably crappy at his actual job.
00:24:38.000 But they're gonna continue to, like, they don't have any other options.
00:24:40.000 As we'll see in a moment, Kamala Harris is still wandering around, speaking in weird crystal platitudes.
00:24:49.000 Here's Jill Biden attempting to Edith Wilson this one.
00:24:52.000 Here she is suggesting that Joe is not just effective, he's the most effective because he's old.
00:24:57.000 It's because of his, you should appreciate his age.
00:25:00.000 Because with his age comes wisdom.
00:25:03.000 Here's Jill Biden desperately attempting to prop El Cid on this horse.
00:25:06.000 This election is most certainly not about age.
00:25:11.000 Joe and that other guy are essentially the same age.
00:25:16.000 Let's not be fooled.
00:25:18.000 Joe isn't one of the most effective presidents of our lives in spite of his age, but because of it.
00:25:27.000 Oh, it's because he's an old codger who can't keep it together for more than five minutes and has to have a bunch of quick cuts and short videos that he makes for TikTok.
00:25:36.000 It's because of that he is so effective, says actual President Jill Biden.
00:25:41.000 What exciting news!
00:25:42.000 We'll get to more on this in one moment.

00:26:27.000 That's Stamps.com slash Shapiro.
00:26:29.000 So, the media have come up with a new strategy with regard to his age.
00:26:33.000 So one is deny, deny, deny, right?
00:26:34.000 He's totally fine.
00:26:36.000 Don't look at what you're seeing with your eyes or listen to what you're hearing with your ears.
00:26:40.000 Simply feel with your heart and he will be young again.
00:26:43.000 It's like Cocoon.
00:26:45.000 By the way, Wilford Brimley, I should point out, in Cocoon, Wilford Brimley, who's the star of Cocoon, when he made Cocoon, was I believe 50.
00:26:55.000 I think he was 50 years old when he made cocoon.
00:27:00.000 Joe Biden is 81 years old.
00:27:03.000 So they have to come up with an alternative.
00:27:04.000 So their alternative is not that Joe Biden isn't old.
00:27:07.000 Okay, now they're like, yeah, he's old, but he's the most competent.
00:27:09.000 And everyone's like, no, no, no.
00:27:10.000 They're like, well, he's old.
00:27:11.000 And they're taking him out of context.
00:27:13.000 He's really sprightly.
00:27:14.000 And everyone's like, no, no, no.
00:27:15.000 So they're new.
00:27:16.000 The new fresh line from the Democratic Party is that Donald Trump is old and broken.
00:27:22.000 That is the new line.
00:27:22.000 So Donald Trump had a 78th birthday over the weekend.
00:27:26.000 Here was the MSNBC headline on Donald Trump's birthday.
00:27:30.000 Quote, could not keep a straight thought.
00:27:33.000 Trump turned 78 amid concerns about mental fitness.
00:27:36.000 That's MSNBC's line.
00:27:39.000 Really, guys?
00:27:41.000 You're going with this one.
00:27:42.000 You're going with this one.
00:27:43.000 That Donald Trump is the one who's suffering from early-stage to mid-stage dementia.
00:27:49.000 That's what you're going with.
00:27:51.000 Okay, then.
00:27:52.000 Okay, as evidence, they're bringing the fact that Donald Trump tells weird stories.
00:27:56.000 Now, the difference between Donald Trump telling weird stories and Joe Biden telling weird stories is there is no discernible difference in Donald Trump's behavior from 2016 to 2024.
00:28:03.000 None.
00:28:05.000 I've met the president of the United States.
00:28:07.000 He is indeed eight years older than he was in 2016, because that's how calendars work.
00:28:10.000 However, Donald Trump is the same exact Donald Trump that he was in 2016.
00:28:14.000 I've been in a room with him.
00:28:16.000 You have seen it.
00:28:16.000 Forget about what I've seen.
00:28:17.000 You have seen him.
00:28:19.000 You have watched long tapes of him.
00:28:21.000 We have played long clips of him.
00:28:22.000 And so instead, what they're doing is they're now attempting to pretend that he and Joe Biden are equally senile, which is just ridiculous.
00:28:29.000 Donald Trump is wild and eccentric and says crazy stuff.
00:28:32.000 And that's who he is.
00:28:35.000 There is no diminishment in Donald Trump's capacity.
00:28:37.000 Like, seriously, show me.
00:28:39.000 I want to see the evidence that he was, like, way different in 2016.
00:28:43.000 Seriously, where is it?
00:28:45.000 I can show you a tape, back-to-back, of Joe Biden 2016 and 2024, and a tape of Donald Trump 2016 and 2024.
00:28:51.000 And you can see the difference in Biden, and you can't really see the difference in Trump.
00:28:53.000 So, here's one of the clips that they were trying to pump out there.
00:28:56.000 It was a rant of Donald Trump talking about sharks.
00:28:59.000 Now, again, this is really funny and weird, and I don't know what the hell he's talking about.
00:29:03.000 But also, half the time when he was president, he would say funny, weird things, and I didn't know what the hell he was talking about.
00:29:08.000 And this is, like, pretty classic Donald Trump, which is the point.
00:29:12.000 What people are looking at when it comes to Trump is the lack of a delta, the lack of a change between 2016 and 2024.
00:29:17.000 They're not looking at what he is saying now and going, well, you know, before he was Demosthenes and spoken clear, concise philosophy.
00:29:25.000 He was Aristotelian in his thinking.
00:29:27.000 But now he's diminished to telling stories about sharks.
00:29:30.000 It was Donald Trump told stories about sharks in 2016, and he tells weird stories about sharks in 2024.
00:29:34.000 So here he is telling a weird story about a shark.
00:29:37.000 I say what would happen if the boat sank from its weight and you're in the boat and you have this tremendously powerful battery and the battery is now underwater and there's a shark that's approximately 10 yards over there By the way, a lot of shark attacks lately.
00:29:53.000 Do you notice that?
00:29:54.000 A lot of sharks.
00:29:55.000 I watched some guys justifying it today.
00:29:57.000 Well, they weren't really that angry.
00:29:59.000 They bit off the young lady's leg because of the fact that they were not hungry, but they misunderstood who she was.
00:30:07.000 These people are crazy.
00:30:08.000 He said, there's no problem with sharks.
00:30:10.000 They just didn't really understand a young woman swimming now who really got decimated, and other people too.
00:30:15.000 A lot of shark attacks.
00:30:16.000 So I said, so there's a shark 10 yards away from the boat.
00:30:20.000 10 yards.
00:30:23.000 Do I get electrocuted if the boat is sinking, water goes over the battery, the boat is sinking?
00:30:28.000 Do I stay on top of the boat and get electrocuted?
00:30:31.000 Or do I jump over by the shark and not get electrocuted?
00:30:34.000 Because I will tell you, he didn't know the answer.
00:30:36.000 He said, you know, nobody's ever asked me that question.
00:30:39.000 I said, I think it's a good question.
00:30:41.000 I think there's a lot of electric current coming through that water.
00:30:44.000 But you know what I'd do if there was a shark?
00:30:46.000 Or you get electrocuted?
00:30:47.000 I'll take electrocution every single time.
00:30:50.000 I'm not getting near the shark.
00:30:52.000 So we're gonna end that.
00:30:53.000 We're gonna end it for boats.
00:30:55.000 I don't know what he's talking about, but he's not diminished.
00:30:58.000 He's not diminished.
00:31:00.000 It's hilarious and crazy.
00:31:01.000 I don't know what the hell he's talking about.
00:31:02.000 Do you know what the hell he's talking about?
00:31:03.000 Sharks and electric batteries and the boat is sinking under its own weight.
00:31:07.000 I don't know what he's talking about, but there's a difference between that and this.
00:31:15.000 Not the same.
00:31:17.000 Joe Biden looks like a corpse.
00:31:21.000 He walks like a corpse being manipulated from above like a marionette.
00:31:25.000 He's being guided around by Georgia Maloney, the leader of Italy, and Barack Obama, the former president of the United States.
00:31:32.000 At his rallies, they deploy Jill Biden to sprint up on stage like Usain Bolt to turn him around so he doesn't walk into the band.
00:31:41.000 That's not the same thing.
00:31:42.000 Donald Trump being weird and hilarious and random, that's like normal Donald Trump, which is sort of the point.
00:31:49.000 But don't worry, the media is going to tell you different.
00:31:50.000 Here's an MSNBC panel explaining that Joe Biden is playing chess while Donald Trump is playing Hungry Hungry Hippos.
00:31:56.000 Joe Biden can't play chess.
00:31:57.000 The pieces move all different.
00:31:59.000 He might be able to play checkers.
00:32:00.000 You're telling me that he knows how to castle anymore, Joe Biden?
00:32:05.000 Joe Biden is going to be like, Night to Rook 5.
00:32:09.000 Uh-huh.
00:32:10.000 Sure.
00:32:11.000 Here we go.
00:32:12.000 I said this was a great week for the president.
00:32:16.000 He's having these back-to-back weeks on both the national stage and domestically.
00:32:22.000 The economy, the numbers were strong coming out on inflation.
00:32:28.000 It's amazing because you think about the fact that the president is playing chess and the former president at best is playing like Hungry Hungry Hippo.
00:32:34.000 Well if that, maybe Uno.
00:32:36.000 I'm gonna give him Uno maybe.
00:32:37.000 He's playing Uno.
00:32:39.000 Uno and somebody keeps telling him draw four.
00:32:41.000 I just, you know, it's...
00:32:46.000 These geniuses.
00:32:48.000 These absolute MFing geniuses.
00:32:51.000 They are so brilliant.
00:32:53.000 They are so with it.
00:32:54.000 Yeah, this dog is gonna... But!
00:32:56.000 There's a danger in this for Trump.
00:32:58.000 Which is that his focus should be on... Let us all say the thing.
00:33:01.000 We all see it.
00:33:02.000 He doesn't have to say it.
00:33:03.000 Donald Trump doesn't have to point out that Joe Biden is gone.
00:33:05.000 We all know it.
00:33:06.000 What he needs to point out over and over and over again is that he was a better president than Joe Biden is.
00:33:10.000 End of story.
00:33:11.000 And we'll get to that in just one moment.
00:33:13.000 First, alright, there is a new movie coming out in theaters July 4th.
00:33:16.000 It is being brought to you in part by Daily Wire+.
00:33:18.000 We are super excited about this.
00:33:19.000 So Jeremy Boring, co-founder of the Daily Wire, recently announced our partnership with Angel Studios to bring you a brand new film it's called Sound of Hope the story of Possum Trot.
00:33:28.000 Now you might know Angel Studios from their huge hit Sound of Freedom that had a massive impact in the world of entertainment last year and shined a powerful light on the child trafficking crisis.
00:33:36.000 Well now Angel Studios is back continuing their fight for kids.
00:33:40.000 We here at DailyWirePlus are proud to join them in that fight.
00:33:43.000 Sound of Hope is the true story of 22 families from a rural church who adopted 77 kids from the foster system.
00:33:48.000 If you missed our town hall last week here's a little bit of the trailer.
00:33:51.000 Are you sure these people want us?
00:33:53.000 I know they do.
00:33:53.000 You can call me Mama.
00:33:55.000 It's hard to feel like I'm the only one who sees these things.
00:34:04.000 70% 70% of the kids in the system are there because of neglect.
00:34:11.000 The other 30% are put through hell.
00:34:17.000 We need your help.
00:34:22.000 Can you imagine our kids on their own?
00:34:26.000 We can't just look away.
00:34:29.000 The state ain't no family.
00:34:32.000 Are you sure these people want us?
00:34:34.000 I know they do.
00:34:36.000 You can call me Mama.
00:34:41.000 Oh, Lord.
00:34:43.000 No! No! No! No!
00:34:45.000 If we can't wrap our arms around the most vulnerable, then what do we have?
00:34:51.000 Noise!
00:34:51.000 And the children can't take the noise anymore.
00:34:56.000 This is something that we must do.
00:35:03.000 22 families want to adopt.
00:35:05.000 Wholetown wants kids now.
00:35:05.000 That's about right.
00:35:09.000 What's happening with Possum Trot could mean a huge change for the system.
00:35:14.000 We want the ones that nobody else wants.
00:35:19.000 You hurt you, baby.
00:35:21.000 I'm not giving up on you.
00:35:22.000 You can't give up on me either.
00:35:25.000 What we gonna do?
00:35:28.000 Everybody's falling apart.
00:35:29.000 I'm doing the best I can!
00:35:33.000 A real world hits hard.
00:35:35.000 I don't wanna be here!
00:35:40.000 I can't give him back.
00:35:41.000 We gotta work on this together.
00:35:43.000 We your people now.
00:35:50.000 And love never gives up.
00:35:53.000 I have seen the movie.
00:36:08.000 It is awesome.
00:36:09.000 It is powerful and it is inspiring.
00:36:10.000 It's gonna make you feel like you wanna get up out of your seat and do something for kids.
00:36:14.000 We need to see more films that inspire hope rather than instilling doubt and cynicism.
00:36:18.000 That's what Angel is doing.
00:36:19.000 We're helping them out with it.
00:36:20.000 We can't wait for you to see Sound of Hope in theaters starting July 4th.
00:36:24.000 Tickets are on sale right now.
00:36:25.000 You can get yours at angel.com slash Ben.
00:36:29.000 Okay, meanwhile, when it comes to the actual argument that Donald Trump should be making, he should not be the one who's talking about Joe Biden's age.
00:36:35.000 Let everybody else talk about his age.
00:36:37.000 He should be talking about the fact that Joe Biden is a terrible, terrible president because it turns out that he is.
00:36:43.000 On the economy in particular, he continues to be an absolutely terrible president.
00:36:47.000 And again, when Donald Trump talks about this, it is very good for Donald Trump.
00:36:50.000 So here is Trump over the weekend pointing out the difference between his economy and Joe Biden's economy.
00:36:56.000 We had no inflation.
00:36:57.000 Gasoline was less than $2.
00:37:00.000 The 30-year mortgage was at 2.6%.
00:37:03.000 The border was secure.
00:37:05.000 Wages were rising.
00:37:07.000 And the jobs were the best in the history of our country.
00:37:10.000 For African Americans, for black Americans, the jobs were the best in the history of our country.
00:37:16.000 Other than that, what did I do?
00:37:18.000 Not that much.
00:37:20.000 Not that much.
00:37:22.000 Okay, again, this is what he should be saying in the debate.
00:37:24.000 You know, Joe, you brought us 40-year highs in inflation.
00:37:27.000 People can't make their bills.
00:37:30.000 And that'll force Joe Biden to tell a bunch of lies.
00:37:32.000 And it's always the same lies.
00:37:33.000 It's always this stuff about how he created millions of jobs.
00:37:36.000 And at that point, Donald Trump can say, well, no, actually, you didn't create any jobs.
00:37:40.000 In fact, you put a drag on the economy in the form of your massive inflationary economy.
00:37:46.000 The people who created jobs are all the small business people who are getting crushed by your inflation.
00:37:51.000 I mean, what's the response to that even?
00:37:53.000 Janet Yellen, who's the Treasury Secretary, she is still trying to whistle past the graveyard, in the case of Biden, the actual graveyard, suggesting that Americans are better off now than they were under Donald Trump.
00:38:02.000 But again, nobody believes this.
00:38:04.000 All Americans, both those who are well off and those who are near at the bottom of the income distribution, are better off now.
00:38:13.000 Their wages have risen more than prices.
00:38:17.000 Okay, so no one believes her.
00:38:19.000 No one believes things are going really well.
00:38:20.000 In fact, Bidenomics, what is Bidenomics?
00:38:22.000 So, the Biden campaign put out a video of a Biden supporter talking about how great the economy was.
00:38:29.000 Listen to how she describes the economy.
00:38:32.000 I heard you like that ice cream.
00:38:34.000 I would love one day to be able to have you try some of my ice cream.
00:38:40.000 I'm the dullest president in America.
00:38:41.000 I'm known for my Ray-Ban sunglasses and chocolate chip ice cream.
00:38:45.000 Alright!
00:38:46.000 How's business?
00:38:47.000 It's great.
00:38:48.000 It's really good.
00:38:49.000 I got a lot of opportunities as far as grants and stuff this year.
00:38:53.000 It's really great.
00:38:54.000 Okay, I would like to just point out here, that's not how economics works.
00:38:58.000 If you ask me, how is business this year?
00:39:00.000 I'm going to talk about my customer base.
00:39:02.000 I'm going to talk about how we've been doing an amazing job getting more people through the door in order to buy our goods and services.
00:39:09.000 If your answer to the President of the United States, how is your company doing is, we got a lot of grants this year.
00:39:15.000 That's not your business being good.
00:39:16.000 That's you getting a lot of taxpayer money.
00:39:19.000 But that's how Bidenomics works.
00:39:20.000 We're all supposed to believe that things are going really well because Joe Biden is signing checks that obviously he's not the one paying for.
00:39:26.000 Meanwhile, Joe Biden still hasn't connected anyone to the internet.
00:39:28.000 Remember, there's a big deal about how Joe Biden was going to build with $42.5 billion from the infrastructure bill, high-speed internet for everybody, which, of course, it turns out is completely unnecessary because technology is developing so quickly that building broadband is probably the way of the past.
00:39:45.000 In any case, FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr on Friday wrote that President Biden has not connected one single American with high-speed internet.
00:39:52.000 Not one.
00:39:54.000 The FCC commissioner wrote, in 2021, the Biden administration got $42.45 billion from Congress to deploy high-speed internet to millions of Americans.
00:40:02.000 Years later, it has not connected one person with those funds.
00:40:05.000 In fact, it now says that no construction projects will even start until 2025 at the earliest.
00:40:12.000 So, like, really good job there, Joe Biden.
00:40:14.000 Even the grants aren't going out fast enough.
00:40:16.000 Meanwhile, investors are fearing chaos because there's been this long stretch of calm in the markets, and that has basically been predicated not on calm in the markets, but on an underlying tension.
00:40:24.000 You don't know where to put your money.
00:40:25.000 If you're an investor, and I'm an investor, you really don't know where to put your money at this point.
00:40:29.000 Thanks to inflation, and thanks to a widespread belief that we are in a sort of stock market bubble, but it's unclear where we go next.
00:40:35.000 Thanks to all the hesitation by the Fed.
00:40:37.000 Thanks to the fact the interest rates are high, but it's not really having an effect on real estate prices yet, which is strange.
00:40:43.000 There's all sorts of weird stickinesses in the Joe Biden market created by all of the perverse incentives made by the Fed and by the Biden administration spending policies.
00:40:51.000 Because of that, there's a lot of underlying nervousness underneath the market rally.
00:40:56.000 According to the Wall Street Journal, markets are unusually calm, and that's making Wall Street nervous.
00:41:02.000 Investors look sanguine.
00:41:02.000 Analysts say they have good reason.
00:41:04.000 The economy has remained stronger than almost anyone predicted after the Federal Reserve began raising those interest rates.
00:41:08.000 But history shows that periods of extreme market calm rarely last.
00:41:13.000 Part of the problem with a strong economy and calm markets is they create an environment in which investors let their guard down in terms of riskier, more speculative investments in their hunt for fast returns, which is true.
00:41:22.000 It's also one of the reasons why top CEOs, according to the Wall Street Journal, are flocking to Trump again.
00:41:27.000 According to the Wall Street Journal, when Donald Trump won the presidency in 2016, business leaders flocked to meet with him, hoping to tone down his trade policies and populist rhetoric while encouraging his business-friendly tax and deregulation agenda.
00:41:37.000 They are flocking to meet him again.
00:41:40.000 Since Trump vanquished his last major GOP primary foe, more big names from the world of finance have lined up behind him.
00:41:45.000 This week, a range of chief executives listened carefully as he promised more tax cuts and hedged on some of his harshest promises on immigration.
00:41:53.000 Even CEOs like Jamie Dimon of JPMorgan Chase and Bank of America's Brian Moynihan have shown signs of warming Trump's policies or have spoken out against Joe Biden's.
00:42:03.000 Citi's CEO Jane Frazier, Wells Fargo's Charlie Scharf were all in attendance at a business roundtable meeting where Trump addressed the group this week.
00:42:11.000 And on the economy, Donald Trump is winning by every available poll.
00:42:15.000 On immigration, Donald Trump is winning by every available poll.
00:42:19.000 According to a brand new CBS Politics poll, 62.35, Americans favor mass deportations.
00:42:27.000 Local police profiling the undocumented, profiling illegal immigrants, according to Mark Caputo.
00:42:31.000 62.38, 62% of Americans support local cops being able to arrest illegal immigrants.
00:42:41.000 Very few, a minority of people actually want more detention centers.
00:42:45.000 They don't want more detention centers, mainly because they don't want people detained in the United States.
00:42:49.000 They want them to remain in Mexico.
00:42:51.000 So Donald Trump's immigration politics are overwhelmingly popular with the American people.
00:42:55.000 These are like 60-40 propositions.
00:42:58.000 Meanwhile, Joe Biden is preparing to offer legal status to hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants.
00:43:04.000 According to CBS News, a program being developed by White House officials would offer work permits and deportation protections to unauthorized immigrants married to U.S.
00:43:11.000 citizens as long as they have lived in the U.S.
00:43:12.000 for at least 10 years.
00:43:15.000 The proposal, known as Parole in Place, would also open up a pathway to permanent legal status in U.S.
00:43:19.000 citizenship for some beneficiaries by removing an obstacle in U.S.
00:43:22.000 law that prevents those who enter the U.S.
00:43:24.000 illegally from obtaining green cards without leaving the country.
00:43:27.000 Another plan being prepared by Biden would streamline the process for so-called dreamers and other undocumented immigrants to request waivers that would make it easier for them to obtain temporary visas.
00:43:38.000 So in the middle of an immigration News cycle in which we are worried about an open border.
00:43:43.000 Joe Biden is incentivizing more illegal immigration.
00:43:45.000 I wonder why he's losing again.
00:43:46.000 What Donald Trump needs to focus on is Joe Biden crapping the bet on the presidency.
00:43:51.000 That's the thing he really needs to focus in on in a very serious way.
00:43:54.000 Not his age.
00:43:55.000 We all see his age.
00:43:55.000 Don't worry, President Trump, we got this.
00:43:58.000 We can all see it.
00:43:59.000 Please focus all your efforts in the debate and every day up to and past then on the fact that Joe Biden is a terrible president, not because he's mentally incompetent, but because he is just incompetent, period.
00:44:11.000 More on this in a moment.
00:44:11.000 First, are you still struggling with back taxes or unfiled returns?

00:45:11.000 Donald Trump spent the weekend also going after Joe Biden on terrorism.
00:45:14.000 He linked this with the border.
00:45:15.000 He pointed out that Joe Biden's open border has meant that terrorists cross the border, which of course is true.
00:45:19.000 So in addition to all of his other well-documented offenses, crooked Joe Biden is now also guilty of providing material support For terrorism.
00:45:31.000 Under Biden, there's been a 3,000% increase in the number of people on the terror watch list crossing into our country from the southern border.
00:45:42.000 3,000%.
00:45:43.000 And that comes from the Border Patrol.
00:45:47.000 Our country is going to pay a steep price for many, many years.
00:45:51.000 This is a terrible thing that's happened.
00:45:55.000 He's not wrong.
00:45:55.000 Again, more focus on Joe Biden being a bad president is the key.
00:45:59.000 Especially because they ain't got no backup.
00:46:01.000 There's a lot of talk right now about what happens if Biden craps the bed in the debate.
00:46:05.000 What happens if he poops himself?
00:46:07.000 Like literally poops himself.
00:46:08.000 Like something so bad happens during the debate that he collapses in the polls.
00:46:11.000 Will they swap him out for somebody like, say, Kamala Harris?
00:46:14.000 The problem is, that person would be a person named Kamala Harris, who's even less popular than Joe Biden for a reason.
00:46:20.000 Here she was explaining yesterday that community banks are called community banks because they're, wait for it, in the community.
00:46:27.000 I know.
00:46:28.000 Shocking, shocking stuff here from Kamala Harris.
00:46:31.000 The importance of community banks is they are as they are called.
00:46:35.000 They're in the community.
00:46:36.000 As they are called.
00:46:38.000 Led by members of the community.
00:46:40.000 They are people who understand the capacity of the community, the needs of the community, the culture of the community.
00:46:49.000 They are folks who, unlike the big banks, will see the dream that an individual has for what is possible And instead of rejecting that dream because maybe it's something they've not heard before, they will listen to it and then give folks advice, including financial literacy advice, helping people know how to run a payroll, how to deal with inventory, in a way that they can start a business and sustain that business and grow that business.
00:47:19.000 Okay, my favorite thing about what she says about community banks, aside from her use of the word community 87 times in about a 27-second clip there, is my favorite thing, is when she explains that community banks are wiser than the big banks, which is, of course, why community banks are so wildly profitable compared to the big banks, or perhaps not.
00:47:36.000 But that is the person who is backing up Joe Biden.
00:47:39.000 Again, the best presidency insurance that Joe Biden has ever had is Kamala Harris in the background explaining like she's saying something deep.
00:47:48.000 That community banks are called that because they're banks in the community, for the community, like and of the community.
00:48:04.000 She's great at what she does.
00:48:05.000 Wow.
00:48:06.000 An impressive, impressive person she is.
00:48:08.000 All righty, guys.
00:48:09.000 Coming up, we're going to be getting into two serious stories and two ridiculous stories.
