The Ben Shapiro Show - Donald Trump Joins The Show!

00:00:00.000 Well, folks, yesterday I had the opportunity to see President Trump in New York.

00:00:04.000 We went to the grave of Lubavitcher Rebbe to pay tribute on the anniversary of October 7th.

00:00:09.000 And I had the chance to introduce President Trump to the family of hostage who's currently being held in the Gaza Strip by Hamas.

00:00:16.000 It was a really moving event.

00:00:17.000 And now we have the opportunity to sit with President Trump.

00:00:20.000 President Trump joins us on the line right now here on The Ben Shapiro Show.

00:00:23.000 President Donald Trump, Mr.

00:00:25.000 President, it's an honor to have you on the line.

00:00:27.000 Thanks so much for joining the show. I really appreciate it.

00:00:28.000 Well, very good, Ben.

00:00:29.000 How you doing? Thank God, doing well.

00:00:33.000 I want to start by asking, Mr.

00:00:35.000 President, what you're hearing on the ground from North Carolina.

00:00:37.000 You've really been criticizing the Biden-Harris administration for their response to the fallout from Hurricane Helene.

00:00:42.000 You've obviously been on the ground in places like Georgia during this.

00:00:45.000 What are you hearing on the ground in North Carolina?

00:00:47.000 Well, I was in North Carolina and I got a Pretty good dose because they asked me if I could help them with Elon Musk, who's a friend of mine and endorsed me.

00:00:56.000 And I said, yeah, I think I can.

00:00:58.000 What do you need? And they said, we need the Starlink, which is a big deal because they had no communication whatsoever.

00:01:04.000 They said that there was just no FEMA. You virtually don't see anybody from FEMA. You're seeing a lot of private people going around and helping, but they can't help like FEMA could if they did it right.

00:01:16.000 And they're very upset with what's happening with the federal government as you probably have also heard.

00:01:21.000 It's pretty sad actually.

00:01:24.000 You know, Mr. President Kamala Harris has been now putting pressure on Ron DeSantis for some reason.

00:01:29.000 She seems to want to both suggest that she's in charge of hurricane response and also not in charge of hurricane response.

00:01:34.000 So Hurricane Milton is obviously bearing down on Florida, your home state, and it's slated to be catastrophic.

00:01:39.000 But Kamala has been busy ripping Ron DeSantis, the governor of Florida. 1.00

00:01:43.000 She said yesterday that he was supposedly ignoring her phone calls.

00:01:46.000 He's saying he didn't. She doesn't head up FEMA anyway. 0.80

00:01:49.000 Why do you think she's playing politics with this hurricane? 1.00

00:01:52.000 I think Ron's doing a good job.

00:01:54.000 I see him all over television.

00:01:55.000 He's all over the place. I left Florida last night, and it was starting to get nasty already.

00:02:00.000 This is going to be a big one.

00:02:02.000 And, you know, they're in trouble with Helene in North Carolina, Georgia, a lot of other places.

00:02:07.000 And now you look at this one coming in, and the woman doesn't know what she's doing. 1.00

00:02:13.000 I watched her. I got to watch last night, 60 Minutes.

00:02:16.000 And she answers questions like a child.

00:02:19.000 This is not a president.

00:02:21.000 She's answering questions in the most basic way and getting killed over it. 1.00

00:02:26.000 And every time she does an interview, she sounds like a child. 0.98

00:02:30.000 She sounds like a person with a very low IQ. You know, Mr. 0.95

00:02:35.000 President, you are the person in charge.

00:02:38.000 When you're the person in charge, you take the responsibility.

00:02:40.000 She has been steadfastly avoiding all responsibility throughout all of this and basically throwing it off to President Biden, who is not there, right?

00:02:48.000 He's been missing in action for months.

00:02:49.000 It's the reason they pulled him out of the race because you were destroying him in the race. 0.95

00:02:53.000 They pulled him out because he wasn't mentally competent.

00:02:54.000 He's still not mentally competent.

00:02:56.000 But Kamala Harris has not invoked the 25th Amendment.

00:02:59.000 Does she have a responsibility to invoke the 25th Amendment and oust him from office and actually take responsibility for the administration at this point? 0.78

00:03:06.000 Actually, now that you're mentioning it, I think they should do a double 25th Amendment. 0.93

00:03:10.000 Get them both out.

00:03:12.000 Who's third online? Because it's just terrible.

00:03:16.000 The Speaker, Mike Johnson. This has got to be the worst administration ever.

00:03:22.000 They both don't know what the hell they're doing.

00:03:25.000 And by the way, she is really blaming it on him.

00:03:27.000 You know, I have some friends, obviously, over there.

00:03:30.000 You're in the White House. You have a lot of friends on both sides.

00:03:32.000 But I have friends.

00:03:34.000 He is so angry at her.

00:03:36.000 And she's trying to distance herself.

00:03:38.000 She doesn't want anything to do with him.

00:03:40.000 And, you know, it was a coup to start off with, okay?

00:03:43.000 So she's not exactly thrilled with that.

00:03:45.000 But I actually think he'd be doing as well as her.

00:03:50.000 Let's see what happens. We have to see how it rounds out.

00:03:53.000 But she had her honeymoon period.

00:03:54.000 Now she's supposed to be doing things that, you know, you're supposed to be doing. 0.52

00:03:58.000 And she's just doing a terrible job. 0.98

00:04:02.000 And she's doing a terrible job in the storms, these hurricanes that are coming in.

00:04:06.000 And they are big ones. And just totally missing in action.

00:04:10.000 And always doing the wrong interview at the wrong time.

00:04:16.000 You've got to speak to people like Ben Shapiro.

00:04:18.000 Ben, you have to speak to Ben Shapiro, not the people that she's speaking to.

00:04:22.000 She's speaking to these people about teddy bears.

00:04:26.000 It's just so bad.

00:04:27.000 It's so sad for our country.

00:04:30.000 We'll get to more with President Trump in a moment.

00:04:32.000 First, Kamala Harris's economic plan, if you can even call it a plan, is a disaster. 0.88

00:04:36.000 Get ready for giant tax hikes, an almost 40% top income tax rate, 7% increase to the corporate tax, and she has even proposed a ridiculous capital gains tax on unrealized gains, which would just destroy the economy. 0.99

00:04:47.000 All of that So she can add almost $2 trillion to the current $2 trillion deficit. 1.00

00:04:51.000 You might be thinking it's time to make more of your savings tax-sheltered and inflation-sheltered.

00:05:29.000 Text Ben to 989898 to get started with my friends at Birch Gold.

00:05:34.000 Mr. President, this is slated to be the closest presidential race in modern American history.

00:05:38.000 Every single swing state, about seven swing states right now, all polling within margin of error.

00:05:43.000 Obviously, it's all going to come down to turnout at this point.

00:05:46.000 You're a turnout machine. You get your base out.

00:05:48.000 How confident are you in your campaign's get-out-the-vote efforts?

00:05:51.000 Because we're hearing a lot of information on the ground, some sort of good, some not as good, about the ability to get votes out.

00:05:57.000 Because Democrats are professionals at ballot harvesting and doing everything else that they can to get those ballots in however they have to do it. 0.79

00:06:04.000 Well, they're the greatest cheaters, and they do cheat.

00:06:06.000 And we got hit with now two hurricanes.

00:06:10.000 And, you know, we were leading Florida by a lot, and I suspect that I'll say that way.

00:06:14.000 We have a big lead in Florida.

00:06:16.000 And in North Carolina, we were leading solidly.

00:06:19.000 I've won it twice, and, you know, it looked like we were going to win it reasonably easily.

00:06:24.000 It's a little bit of a purplish state, I think, because you have a governor, you have a senator, you have different things that are...

00:06:33.000 Make it purple. But I had no problem with it.

00:06:37.000 I've always done well.

00:06:38.000 Nobody can really predict what these storms are having.

00:06:41.000 I'd like to say to you, oh, this is, you know, something that...

00:06:45.000 And I hate to say help because people are dying and they're dying.

00:06:48.000 And that's more important than anything we're talking about, actually.

00:06:51.000 But representation is very important and representation for the country is so important.

00:06:57.000 We're going so wrong. And people are dying on a national level at all different things, including the border, etc., etc.

00:07:04.000 But the storms, I can say we have a great team.

00:07:08.000 We have great people.

00:07:09.000 They don't cheat.

00:07:11.000 And the other side does.

00:07:13.000 You know, when they get ready, I was mentioning to a group yesterday, when they're getting ready for a campaign, they start working on cheating.

00:07:19.000 Remember, they spied in my campaign long before I was even assured that To be in.

00:07:25.000 I mean, it's all documented and perfectly documented.

00:07:29.000 But they spied on my campaign.

00:07:32.000 It was one of the first things. It's the first time I heard about their ways.

00:07:36.000 So we should win.

00:07:39.000 And the other thing is, for whatever reason, I don't know, good, bad, or indifferent, poll numbers haven't been very accurate in me.

00:07:46.000 And they tend to be low, like with Hillary. 1.00

00:07:49.000 I was given a 3% chance and then won quite easily.

00:07:53.000 When you look at other poll numbers, I've tended to poll very low, and I'm leading in every poll.

00:07:59.000 I'm leading in every poll, and I'm leading all of the swing states.

00:08:04.000 There are those that say, how can anybody take this?

00:08:08.000 The incompetence of what they're doing with the hurricanes, and we have another one coming.

00:08:12.000 I think Ron's going to do a very good job and maybe save them, but they're not going to do anything.

00:08:18.000 They're just Incompetent. 0.97

00:08:19.000 She is grossly incompetent. 1.00

00:08:21.000 You know, Biden was incompetent. 1.00

00:08:23.000 She is equally incompetent. 1.00

00:08:25.000 And in a certain way, she's more incompetent. 0.98

00:08:27.000 But so I think that when you see the numbers, you may very well, Ben, see much higher numbers, you know, with a lot of people say it could be because they go out and they see signs.

00:08:38.000 They see Trump signs. But every single every single house, every all over the place, And they're saying, you know, it just doesn't feel like it's that close an election.

00:08:49.000 Now, I don't know, and you always have to assume, you know, assume you're losing by one point, because that's probably the best way to run.

00:08:56.000 Just run right till the end.

00:08:57.000 You know, I've worked about 28 days in a row.

00:09:00.000 I have about 29 days left, whatever it may be, 29.

00:09:03.000 And I'm not taking any days off.

00:09:06.000 You know, I've just...

00:09:08.000 I just feel...

00:09:09.000 I would feel guilty if I took a day off, okay?

00:09:12.000 I would feel very... You would also.

00:09:14.000 I know your work habits are right up there, and you would too.

00:09:17.000 But I do tend to poll much differently than the end result.

00:09:23.000 If you remember the first one where I was actually polled 17 points down in Wisconsin, and I won it.

00:09:30.000 You remember that? That was ABC Washington.

00:09:33.000 I do remember that. Yeah, two real sleazebag organizations.

00:09:37.000 And they had me down two days before the election, 17 points.

00:09:41.000 And I had just left at 35,000 people at a rally going crazy in Wisconsin.

00:09:45.000 And then I won.

00:09:47.000 And I said to a pollster, I said to John McLaughlin, actually, Ben, how come they could do that?

00:09:55.000 Why don't they make it three or four points?

00:09:58.000 At least they save credibility.

00:09:59.000 And he said, no, three or four points, people vote.

00:10:03.000 When you're 17 points down, people say, you know what, I like Trump a lot, but we're not going to vote.

00:10:09.000 I said, it's that way.

00:10:11.000 And I never forgot it.

00:10:12.000 I was 17 points down, and I ended up winning Wisconsin two days later.

00:10:18.000 And a lot of what you see is false.

00:10:22.000 It's really terrible.

00:10:24.000 The whole system is just a terrible system, actually.

00:10:29.000 So, Mr. President, yesterday I had the chance, it was really an honor to introduce you to the family of an American citizen currently being held hostage by Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

00:10:38.000 That citizen's name is Idan Alexander.

00:10:39.000 I wanted to thank you for that.

00:10:41.000 The family was very grateful to you, obviously, for taking the time to meet with them.

00:10:44.000 And, you know, it was really a meaningful experience.

00:10:46.000 I wonder if you wanted to say something about the situation for that family and the other families like them.

00:10:51.000 I thought, from a religious standpoint, it was so beautiful.

00:10:55.000 I had not been that aware.

00:10:58.000 As you know, I'm not Jewish, but I grew up in a Jewish neighborhood, to put it mildly.

00:11:02.000 With my father being a Brooklyn builder, I knew lots of Jewish people, almost exclusively, if you want to know the truth.

00:11:10.000 But I thought it was a beautiful, you know, he's explained the whole thing and how it worked.

00:11:16.000 Actually, it was very beautiful, ceremonial.

00:11:19.000 And I got to meet the family, and they were great.

00:11:22.000 The young brother is very close to his brother, who's Hopefully somewhere right now.

00:11:28.000 I mean, they really don't know.

00:11:31.000 It must be almost harder when they just don't know.

00:11:34.000 They're not sure whether or not he's alive or not alive.

00:11:37.000 They think he is.

00:11:39.000 But, you know, being alive over there now is rough stuff.

00:11:42.000 And before it was rough, but now it's probably even rougher.

00:11:46.000 And whatever I can do, and you know this, whatever I can do, I'll do for them.

00:11:50.000 And let's see what happens.

00:11:52.000 And maybe I'll be able to help them and Hopefully it's resolved long before that.

00:11:58.000 But I can see the families just going through hell.

00:12:00.000 It is very, very sad to see.

00:12:02.000 But they were getting great backup from some very good people over there that you and I got to meet.

00:12:08.000 More with President Trump in a moment.

00:12:09.000 First, October 7th yesterday marked the one year anniversary

00:12:12.000 of the worst attack on Jews since the Holocaust.

00:12:14.000 1,200 Israelis were murdered.

00:12:16.000 Over 250 were taken hostage.

00:12:18.000 The war in Israel continues to rage on today.

00:12:21.000 Earlier this month, of course, Iran launched a massive barrage 1.00

00:12:24.000 of nearly 200 ballistic missiles at the Holy Land.

00:12:26.000 This isn't just another conflict in the Middle East.

00:12:28.000 Israel and its people are facing attacks from enemies on all sides who want to wipe it out.

00:12:32.000 But there is hope.

00:12:33.000 The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews is on the ground providing food, shelter, and safety

00:12:36.000 to those in need during this crisis.

00:12:38.000 Since the war started, thousands of reservists, everyday Israeli citizens,

00:12:41.000 have left their families to serve their country.

00:12:43.000 Soldiers have been injured.

00:12:44.000 Their families need our support.

00:12:46.000 Your gift of $45 today helps the fellowship provide food and other necessities to these families to help them survive.

00:12:51.000 Here's what I need you to do right now.

00:12:53.000 Go to benforthefellowship.org.

00:12:55.000 That's benforthefellowship.org to make a gift today.

00:12:58.000 In the face of these many threats, the fellowship's ongoing work providing security to Israelis has never been more important.

00:13:03.000 Remember, that's benforthefellowship.org.

00:13:05.000 God bless and thank you, benforthefellowship.org.

00:13:09.000 Yeah, Mr. President, I wanted to ask you about your foreign policy.

00:13:11.000 So, obviously, you're the first president in my lifetime, didn't launch any major wars, weren't engaged in any major wars around the world during your entire term.

00:13:20.000 But legacy media have, of course, suggested that you're a tool of the Russians.

00:13:22.000 Kamala said yesterday that Vladimir Putin would have taken Kiev if you were president.

00:13:26.000 And then some people, even on our side, seem to suggest that you're some sort of total isolationist, want to slash the military.

00:13:31.000 You and Senator Vance have said that your foreign policy is peace through strength.

00:13:35.000 Can you describe what your second-term foreign policy will look like?

00:13:39.000 Yeah, number one, you wouldn't have taken Kiev because you wouldn't have had a war and you would have had the country just the way it is.

00:13:45.000 I watched her interview and it was a terrible interview and just a terrible, terrible interview that this person can be leading.

00:13:54.000 She's a very low intelligence person and that she could be leading this country. 1.00

00:13:59.000 It's just ridiculous. She's never going to lead the country. 1.00

00:14:02.000 Now, other people around her, they're very bad people and they're not of our persuasion.

00:14:07.000 They're I'm a fascist and Marxist and lots of other things.

00:14:12.000 I can say communist because a lot of people don't understand a Marxist.

00:14:16.000 You know, a father is a Marxist.

00:14:17.000 And this is what it is.

00:14:20.000 And our policy is very simple.

00:14:23.000 Peace through strength. We had no wars.

00:14:25.000 And I'm not an isolationist.

00:14:27.000 I helped a lot of countries.

00:14:28.000 I kept countries out of war.

00:14:30.000 We had two countries, smaller countries.

00:14:32.000 I can explain it later.

00:14:34.000 I can explain who they are when we're together.

00:14:37.000 They were fighting, and they've been fighting for a thousand years, and they go back and forth, and they were going to fight again and kill tens of thousands of people.

00:14:45.000 And I said, look, you do that, there's going to be no trade. 0.94

00:14:47.000 There's going to be tariffs put on your head.

00:14:49.000 There'll be no trade, and that's for both of them, et cetera, et cetera. 0.61

00:14:53.000 And two days later, they call me up that they've made peace.

00:14:55.000 I do these things. Nobody ever even heard of it, but I had no wars.

00:15:01.000 Think of it. And I'm talking about in the world.

00:15:04.000 The world was at peace.

00:15:05.000 I did the Abraham Accords, which Should have been filled in.

00:15:09.000 I would have had every one of the slots filled in.

00:15:11.000 Biden got none.

00:15:13.000 We had the four countries and four very good ones and four tough ones.

00:15:17.000 And the rest was just a fill-in job.

00:15:20.000 It would have taken place.

00:15:21.000 We would have total peace. And I made the statement because, as you know, Iran was broke.

00:15:26.000 We had no terrorism.

00:15:28.000 We had no attacks. We had no Hamas problems, no Hezbollah problems.

00:15:32.000 We had nothing because Iran didn't have the money to give to them. 0.62

00:15:35.000 Because I put sanctions on and I dealt directly.

00:15:38.000 China, I said, if you want to buy oil from Iran, that's fine.

00:15:42.000 You can go do it.

00:15:43.000 But if you do that, you're not doing any business with the U.S. You can take your stuff out of here and we're going to put sanctions on anything that gets through.

00:15:52.000 We're going to put tariffs and everything else, every form of tax.

00:15:56.000 And there are other taxes on anything you do.

00:15:59.000 They took a total pass.

00:16:00.000 They were by far the biggest customer, plus other countries.

00:16:04.000 Iran had no money.

00:16:06.000 Iran was ready to make a deal.

00:16:08.000 When that horrible, disgusting election took place, Biden should have made a deal.

00:16:14.000 They could have made a deal. Iran was in a position.

00:16:16.000 Instead, he gave them billions and billions of dollars.

00:16:21.000 He took off the sanctions that they had.

00:16:23.000 He took off everything.

00:16:25.000 China started buying more oil than they ever bought before, and today Iran has $300.

00:16:32.000 $6 billion. What he even did is they had a number of kidnappings because that's what they were.

00:16:40.000 He paid $6 billion.

00:16:44.000 $6 billion to them.

00:16:46.000 He paid $11 billion for electricity for Iraq that went to Iran.

00:16:55.000 They have so much money now. 1.00

00:16:57.000 The man is a fool. 1.00

00:16:59.000 He's a stupid fool. 1.00

00:17:01.000 We were in a position we could have had... 1.00

00:17:03.000 And you know what I was asking for, Ben?

00:17:05.000 One very simple thing.

00:17:06.000 I don't want them to have a nuclear weapon.

00:17:09.000 Very simple. Everything else, you know, I want them to have a great life.

00:17:13.000 I want them to be rich.

00:17:14.000 But I just didn't want them to have a nuclear weapon.

00:17:18.000 I would have been able to do that very easily.

00:17:20.000 But when Kamala and these people say about Kiev, and people call it Kiev and they call it Kiev.

00:17:29.000 I've always called it Kiev.

00:17:31.000 And it depends on what part of the world you come from is what I finally figured out.

00:17:36.000 But when she mentions that, she's wrong for a different reason.

00:17:40.000 Russia and Putin never would have attacked Ukraine ever when I was there.

00:17:48.000 And I talked about it and it was the apple of his eye.

00:17:51.000 I got along with him very well, which is a good thing, not a bad thing.

00:17:55.000 And a lot of people think that's a bad thing.

00:17:56.000 No, no, that's a great thing.

00:17:58.000 But he never would have attacked Under any circumstances, number one, the oil prices were much lower when I was president, so he didn't have the money to attack.

00:18:08.000 At $40 a barrel, he couldn't attack.

00:18:10.000 At 80, 90, and $100 a barrel, he made a lot of money.

00:18:14.000 So, you know, but it's not even that reason.

00:18:17.000 That was a real reason, but it's not that reason.

00:18:20.000 The reason he wouldn't have attacked was because of me.

00:18:24.000 There is zero chance that he would have attacked.

00:18:27.000 Ukraine today had the right Thing happened in the election, and it did not.

00:18:33.000 If the right thing happened, Ukraine today would be fully intact, the cities wouldn't be bombed, and you would have had two million or three million more people living right now a very nice life.

00:18:45.000 It is so sad to see.

00:18:46.000 And then I have to listen to these people say that, oh, Trump, like they say, Trump's off on Russia.

00:18:53.000 I'm the one that exposed the Russian pipeline, Nord Stream 2, and I terminated it.

00:18:58.000 It was dead. The biggest deal they've ever done, I terminated it.

00:19:02.000 Europe to Germany and all over Europe, the biggest deal they've ever done, I terminated it.

00:19:08.000 And by that, I was rough with the nations.

00:19:11.000 I said, anybody buys oil, you're not going to have US protection.

00:19:14.000 Anybody buys oil, you get no US. They terminated the deal.

00:19:19.000 It was dead. It was done.

00:19:20.000 And then this very dumb person gets into office, extraordinarily dumb person, with her. 1.00

00:19:27.000 And What's the first thing he did? 1.00

00:19:30.000 Kills the Keystone Pipeline and approves the Russian Pipeline. 0.77

00:19:37.000 You know, Mr. President, it's no secret the legacy media hides stories that hurt Kamala Harris in 2020.

00:19:42.000 Obviously, the end of the election, they hid the Hunter Biden laptop story.

00:19:44.000 In the past week alone, we learned from multiple witness accounts that Doug Emhoff, Kamala Harris's husband, allegedly assaulted his ex-girlfriend.

00:19:51.000 If that story had been about anyone even tangentially connected to your campaign, it would have been front news, front page news every single day.

00:19:58.000 Instead, it's been buried.

00:20:00.000 How do you fight a legacy media that is once again rigging the informational environment of the election?

00:20:06.000 Well, for some reason, I got to watch MSDNC, which I never watched because I don't know what happened.

00:20:11.000 He was being interviewed on MSDNC, which is one of the worst.

00:20:17.000 You know, really a terrible, terrible group of people.

00:20:20.000 And it was like a love fest.

00:20:22.000 Never asked him about that.

00:20:24.000 Never asked him about the other one.

00:20:26.000 You know, he had numerous problems.

00:20:29.000 Never asked him about anything.

00:20:31.000 And was saying he's like a symbol for all men all over the world.

00:20:35.000 It's the craziest interview I've ever seen.

00:20:38.000 If that were me, it would be the greatest story in the last five years, you know, which

00:20:43.000 they they make up stories about.

00:20:46.000 More with President Trump in a moment.

00:20:47.000 First, folks, let's talk about the future.

00:20:49.000 I'm talking here about AI, artificial intelligence.

00:20:52.000 Recently I've been using AI and use things like Grok or Chachapiti to make images to

00:20:57.000 search for things you wouldn't be able to search for normally.

00:20:59.000 Take a picture of a household object and you ask how the instructions work.

00:21:02.000 It's really, really cool.

00:21:03.000 AI is only going to get more sophisticated from here.

00:21:06.000 It might be the most important new computer technology literally ever.

00:21:09.000 It's going to affect every industry.

00:21:11.000 Literally billions of dollars are being invested right now.

00:21:13.000 So buckle up. 0.96

00:21:14.000 And the problem is that AI needs a lot of speed and processing power.

00:21:16.000 So how can your business compete without costs spiraling out of control?

00:21:20.000 It's time to upgrade to the next generation of the cloud, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, or OCI. OCI is a single platform for your infrastructure database, application development, and AI needs.

00:21:30.000 OCI has four to eight times the bandwidth of other clouds, offers one consistent price instead of variable regional pricing, and of course, nobody does data better than Oracle.

00:21:38.000 So now you can train your AI models at twice the speed and less than half the cost of other clouds.

00:21:42.000 You're not using AI for your business.

00:21:44.000 You are seriously missing out.

00:21:45.000 If you want to do more and spend less, like Uber, 8x8, and Databricks Mosaic, take a free test drive of OCI at oracle.com slash Shapiro.

00:21:52.000 That's oracle.com slash Shapiro.

00:21:55.000 Oracle.com slash Shapiro.

00:21:56.000 Don't let the left outpace you in the AI race.

00:21:59.000 Get on OCI today.

00:22:00.000 The New York Times is one of the most dishonest of all.

00:22:04.000 I watch this New York Times, and it's a classic.

00:22:07.000 When you see what I'm going to do with it, you're going to have so much fun. 0.96

00:22:10.000 In three, four, five days, this is the most dishonest They are disgusting.

00:22:17.000 But the radical left, I mean, the radical left, the way they protect.

00:22:21.000 Now, you could say, wow, that's pretty good the way they do it.

00:22:25.000 But it's so dishonest.

00:22:27.000 We don't have a free press.

00:22:28.000 We have a very, very corrupt, and hence the name fake news.

00:22:32.000 The problem with fake news is it's not strong enough.

00:22:35.000 I think I get great credit for a wonderful name at the time, but it's worse than fake.

00:22:41.000 It's corrupt. The press is corrupt. 0.54

00:22:43.000 It's really bad in this country.

00:22:45.000 It's really bad. And you know, the hard thing to understand, if you're driving a taxi or you're a lawyer or accountant or anything, you don't know.

00:22:55.000 You know, they write a story you would assume it's true.

00:22:57.000 You don't realize. When you're a newsmaker like I am, and you give them the story exactly as it is, and they write the story, and they make it exactly the opposite of what you've made it, You say you're fake news.

00:23:13.000 But it is worse.

00:23:14.000 It really is. The name fake news, I was very proud of it.

00:23:19.000 But now it just isn't strong enough.

00:23:22.000 It is just so corrupt.

00:23:24.000 And I call it corrupt news.

00:23:26.000 We're at a level now where it's absolutely corrupt.

00:23:29.000 It's wrong. It's just so bad.

00:23:33.000 And you don't understand why.

00:23:35.000 Why wouldn't they want to have a strong water?

00:23:37.000 Why wouldn't they want to have good elections?

00:23:39.000 Why wouldn't they want to have... 0.72

00:23:41.000 Good schooling, good, you know, so many different things.

00:23:45.000 The military is bad.

00:23:46.000 We have generals that do such a bad job.

00:23:49.000 They never get fired. I mean, they should have been fired for what they did in Afghanistan. 1.00

00:23:55.000 That should have been, everybody should have been fired.

00:23:57.000 That was the most embarrassing day in the history of our country for a period of time.

00:24:05.000 And they very, I mean, outside of the little moment, they don't even talk about it.

00:24:11.000 It was one of the worst moments.

00:24:14.000 And by the way, had it not been for that, you may not have seen Putin go in.

00:24:18.000 The reason, that was the final blow.

00:24:21.000 When he saw how incompetent we were with Milley and these guys, when he saw how, because he's grossly incompetent, I mean, 13 people died, many people injured, American hostages over there, and we gave them billions and billions of dollars worth of Military equipment.

00:24:41.000 Unthinkable. I rebuilt the military.

00:24:43.000 I had no wars. I defeated ISIS. Remember, I started no wars.

00:24:48.000 I stopped wars.

00:24:49.000 Iraq, Syria.

00:24:51.000 I got out of stuff.

00:24:53.000 We would have been embroiled in that place forever.

00:24:55.000 I got out and no casualty.

00:24:58.000 It was an amazing period of time.

00:25:00.000 We had no wars, Ben.

00:25:03.000 We had nothing, except I inherited ISIS and I knocked them out. 0.96

00:25:08.000 Quickly, within approximately four weeks, they said it was going to take four to five years.

00:25:13.000 I knocked them out in four weeks.

00:25:15.000 The fact is, our military, if you have the right leader, is very powerful.

00:25:18.000 It's very good. And we've got great people in our military.

00:25:22.000 But think of it. I had no wars.

00:25:24.000 Remember when Hillary Clinton during the debate said, he will cause wars. 0.75

00:25:28.000 Look at him. He will cause...

00:25:30.000 He sounds like the kind of a guy that will cause wars.

00:25:32.000 Well, the truth is, I was the kind of a guy that stopped wars.

00:25:36.000 I had no wars. And just to finish, Victor Orbán, a tough guy, smart guy, as you know, he runs hungry.

00:25:44.000 And he made the statement that if Trump comes back, everything will be settled.

00:25:49.000 And I don't want to say why, because he did say why, but I don't want to say braggadocious, but he said Trump was a very tough guy, and nobody messed around with him.

00:26:02.000 And that included China and Russia.

00:26:04.000 He said, if he were here, we'd have no wars.

00:26:06.000 And right now, the Middle East is blowing up.

00:26:09.000 Ukraine and Russia is getting worse and worse every day.

00:26:13.000 And you know, Ben, I don't know.

00:26:14.000 I sort of hear you say it a little bit, too.

00:26:17.000 But we're closer to World War III right now than we ever were.

00:26:22.000 We have never been so close to World War III as we are right now.

00:26:29.000 Yeah, Mr. President, I really appreciate the time.

00:26:31.000 I can tell you, I know a lot of the foreign leaders over there who pretend publicly that they don't want you to win.

00:26:35.000 And then, you know, behind closed doors, they admit that things were way better when you were president of the United States.

00:26:40.000 Obviously, I'm a supporter of the campaign.

00:26:42.000 We're hoping and praying that you'll be president again very soon.

00:26:44.000 The world requires it.

00:26:46.000 Mr. President, really appreciate the time.

00:26:48.000 Thank you very much, Ben. Talk to you soon.

00:26:50.000 Well folks, we're going to get into the news of the day in a moment.

00:26:52.000 First, you're going to love our friends over at Legacy Box.

00:26:55.000 Now, I'm not usually a nostalgia guy.

00:26:57.000 I deal in facts, not the feelings.

00:26:58.000 But even I can appreciate the importance of preserving family history.

00:27:01.000 Legacy Box is the safest, easiest way to digitize those memories trapped on ancient media you probably can't even watch anymore.

00:27:07.000 I mean, do you have a VCR anymore?

00:27:09.000 It's like trying to find a reasonable person at a college campus.

00:27:12.000 It's not possible.

00:27:12.000 But with Legacy Box, you can revisit those memories without needing a museum of obsolete technology

00:27:16.000 in your living room.

00:27:17.000 Here's how it works.

00:27:18.000 You load up your Legacy Box with all those old VHS tapes, camcorder tapes and pictures.

00:27:22.000 Then you send it back.

00:27:23.000 Their team of professionals, and yes, they are right here in the United States,

00:27:26.000 digitizes everything by hand.

00:27:27.000 Before you know it, you get everything back on a thumb drive or in the cloud along with your originals.

00:27:32.000 It got me thinking about the memories I want to be able to pass down to my kids,

00:27:34.000 not just stuff from me, but from my parents, from my grandparents.

00:27:38.000 It's how we maintain our cultural heritage in an age where everything seems disposable.

00:27:42.000 So, whether you've got those old home movies gathering dust or photographs fading in some albums somewhere, don't let the memories slip away.

00:27:47.000 Use Legacy Box to preserve them.

00:27:48.000 Here's an offer you won't want to miss. For a limited time, you can start preserving your past and save a whopping 50%.

00:27:53.000 That's correct. Half off.

00:27:54.000 Go to LegacyBox.com slash Shapiro to revisit and share those irreplaceable memories from your past.

00:27:59.000 That's LegacyBox.com slash Shapiro.

00:28:02.000 Folks, I've been asked a lot of questions over the course of the last few years about my shift on President Trump.

00:28:07.000 I went from not voting for either candidate in 2016 to voting for President Trump in 2020 to openly supporting him financially in 2024.

00:28:15.000 Recently, I had the opportunity to sit down with Chris Williamson of the Modern Wisdom podcast.

00:28:19.000 We covered a lot of stuff, including why I decided to support President Trump with my own checkbook this year.

00:28:24.000 Take a listen.

00:28:25.000 It became clear to me that it wasn't just enough for me to actually vote for Trump or

00:28:31.000 support Trump verbally, that I actually wanted to get involved in the campaign because I

00:28:35.000 think that the consequences of Trump losing to either Joe Biden or Kamala Harris now would

00:28:40.000 have been quite disastrous.

00:28:41.000 So what I would say is that my feelings about Trump on sort of a personal level haven't

00:28:45.000 changed radically on him as a character.

00:28:47.000 They've changed somewhat on him in terms of the policies that he implemented.

00:28:51.000 My opinions about sort of the sanity of the left have changed fairly radically since since

00:28:55.000 2016.

00:28:56.000 I think that the left has, that sort of meme that Elon likes to tweet out where it shows how he was sort of in the center and then the entire center just moved to the left and so he ended up on the right.

00:29:05.000 I think that that's fairly realistic about how far the left has moved.

00:29:10.000 Go give a listen to the entire podcast.

00:29:12.000 It really is, I think, an excellent interview.

00:29:14.000 Again, go check him out. Chris Williams in the Modern Wisdom Podcast over at Apple Podcasts.

00:29:19.000 Well, folks, in a little while, I'm gonna get back to what it was like

00:29:22.000 to be with President Trump on October 7th, obviously an incredibly important date,

00:29:26.000 and introduce him to the family of a hostage currently being held in Gaza.

00:29:30.000 But first I wanna get to the news of the day.

00:29:33.000 So obviously we now have a major hurricane that is barreling toward Florida.

00:29:37.000 Hurricane Milton has achieved Category 4 status.

00:29:39.000 It's sort of vacillating between Category 4 and Category 5.

00:29:42.000 Kamala Harris is somehow turning this into a story about her.

00:29:46.000 It's really incredible.

00:29:48.000 So here's the thing about Kamala Harris. 0.86

00:29:49.000 She is not a competent candidate.

00:29:51.000 She's not. She's not a competent vice president. 1.00

00:29:53.000 She wasn't a competent senator. 0.98

00:29:54.000 She was not a competent AG. And she is certainly not a competent candidate.

00:29:58.000 So, yesterday, she got in a fight with Governor Ron DeSantis for nothing.

00:30:03.000 Over nothing. So, Governor DeSantis has been trying to handle successfully the fallout from Hurricane Helene, which went up through the panhandle.

00:30:09.000 And he is getting ready to deal with a massively destructive hurricane that is barreling down on the west coast of Florida that we're all watching really closely.

00:30:18.000 And Kamala Harris is pissed off at him. 1.00

00:30:19.000 Why is she mad? She's really mad.

00:30:21.000 She's really mad because she thinks he ignored her phone calls. 0.82

00:30:24.000 So first of all, they ain't dating. Okay, let's be real about this.

00:30:28.000 They have no relationship.

00:30:30.000 She is not the person, according to her, who is in charge of FEMA. Remember, she is running as a candidate who is in charge of nothing, but somehow also deeply important to the American body politic.

00:30:40.000 And her entire shtick is that she is separate from this administration and responsible for nothing the administration does. 0.99

00:30:46.000 But she then shows up to do photo ops at, like, the FEMA Hurricane Center. 0.99

00:30:50.000 So now she's going to pretend that she's really ticked at Ron DeSantis for having ignored her phone call.

00:30:54.000 This is political malpractice, by the way.

00:30:56.000 What she should be saying is, listen, I tried to call Governor DeSantis.

00:30:59.000 He's probably busy right now.

00:31:00.000 And, you know, we're here for him, whatever he needs.

00:31:03.000 That would be the smart political move.

00:31:04.000 But because she is vindictive and quite unpleasant, here she was yesterday ripping into Governor DeSantis, who's a little busy right now.

00:31:13.000 This hurricane is supposed to directly hit Tampa.

00:31:17.000 Millions of people are in the storm path.

00:31:19.000 He's a little busy to spend time helping her prop up her ailing campaign.

00:31:24.000 But she did take time.

00:31:25.000 She answers no questions. She's on the campaign trail. 0.73

00:31:27.000 She answers no serious questions except on 60 Minutes, which as we'll see is a disaster for her.

00:31:31.000 She kind of made her way over to the press just to rip into DeSantis yesterday, which is really quite gross.

00:31:38.000 Governor DeSantis, NBC is reporting Governor DeSantis is ignoring your calls on hurricanes, resources and help.

00:31:47.000 How does that hurt the situation here?

00:31:52.000 You know, moments of crisis, if nothing else, should really be the moment that anyone who calls themselves a leader says they're going to put politics aside and put the people first.

00:32:04.000 People are in desperate need of support right now and playing political games with this moment in these crisis situations.

00:32:11.000 These are the height of emergency situations.

00:32:14.000 It's just utterly irresponsible and it is selfish and it is about political gamesmanship

00:32:20.000 instead of doing the job that you took an oath to do, which is to put the people first.

00:32:24.000 This is a patent absurdity.

00:32:27.000 It's a patent. I live in Florida, okay?

00:32:29.000 I have friends who are on the west coast of Florida.

00:32:31.000 In fact, I have extended family members who are on the west coast of Florida.

00:32:34.000 And she is so unbelievably full of it.

00:32:37.000 It is enraging. 0.94

00:32:38.000 It is enraging. He's selfish and irresponsible because he didn't pick up her phone call supposedly. 0.93

00:32:44.000 This deeply important person who is related in no way to policymaking, who doesn't even have the stones to remove the person who she removed as the nominee. 0.98

00:32:52.000 Remember, she removed Joe Biden as the nominee of the Democratic Party because he was going to lose to President Trump because he was mentally incompetent. 1.00

00:32:59.000 And then she leaves him in the White House to be a befuddled old fool. 1.00

00:33:04.000 So that she doesn't have to take responsibility for anything. 0.98

00:33:07.000 And then she's mad that people supposedly won't pick up her phone calls. 0.77

00:33:09.000 As it turns out, that's not even the story.

00:33:11.000 As it turns out, her people are trying to get a hold of maybe Rhonda Sands' aides or something.

00:33:15.000 And again, he's busy.

00:33:18.000 He's the governor of a state that's about to get walloped with the second major hurricane inside of three weeks.

00:33:23.000 And she says he's selfish and irresponsible.

00:33:25.000 What does she do for a living? 1.00

00:33:26.000 She does nothing. She sits in a room at the White House and she plays solitaire all day until called upon to throw Grandpa off the back of the train.

00:33:34.000 That's her entire career trajectory. 0.99

00:33:36.000 She's a do-nothing politician her entire life. 1.00

00:33:39.000 And she's ripping into DeSantis, the single most competent governor in the country when it comes to dealing with disasters. 0.99

00:33:45.000 Maybe she should talk to, you know, North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper, who's been blowing it over in North Carolina.

00:33:50.000 But he's a Democrat, so we're not going to hear about that.

00:33:52.000 So she's ripping into... DeSantis is selfish? 0.95

00:33:54.000 It's hard to imagine anyone more selfish than a vice president who is running for president of the United States on the decaying corpse of her boss, while ripping into a governor who's in the middle of hurricane preparedness. 1.00

00:34:05.000 What a pathetic specimen she is. 1.00

00:34:07.000 Here's Ron DeSantis correctly clocking the hell out of her on Fox News. 0.99

00:34:11.000 My focus has not been on dealing with Kamala Harris.

00:34:16.000 I saw the news report.

00:34:18.000 I didn't know she tried to contact me.

00:34:19.000 But I'd also say it's not about you, Kamala.

00:34:22.000 It's about the people of Florida.

00:34:24.000 My focus is exactly where it should be.

00:34:27.000 And I can tell you this. I've worked on these hurricanes under both President Trump and President Biden.

00:34:33.000 Neither of them ever tried to politicize it.

00:34:36.000 She has never called on any of the storms we've had since she's been vice president until apparently now.

00:34:42.000 Why all of a sudden is she trying to parachute in and inject herself when she's never shown any interest in the past?

00:34:49.000 We know it's because of politics.

00:34:51.000 We know it's because of her campaign.

00:34:53.000 I have zero time to entertain these political games.

00:34:59.000 I mean, it is amazing. The entire media have decided that Donald Trump is very bad for criticizing the FEMA response and the Biden administration response to North Carolina.

00:35:07.000 They've decided that he's terrible. It's awful.

00:35:09.000 We've had wall-to-wall news coverage of that.

00:35:11.000 Meanwhile, the other candidate, Kamala Harris, who is currently the vice president of the United States, is ripping into the sitting governor of a state that is doing hurricane preparedness because, what, he's a little busy? 0.51

00:35:22.000 She has no responsibilities. 0.71

00:35:23.000 The vice presidency is a warm bucket of spit. 0.99

00:35:27.000 The notion that he has some sort of deep abiding responsibility to the people of Florida to give a call back to this pathetic new paint job on a broken down Ford Pinto of an administration is just ridiculous on its face. 0.99

00:35:43.000 Meanwhile, this administration won't even answer for its own failures with regard to North Carolina. 0.54

00:35:47.000 By the way, they delayed for days in calling up new members of the military to help with the search and rescue in North Carolina, as my friend Eric Erickson has pointed out.

00:35:54.000 In fact, here is Peter Doocy of Fox News going at it with Karine Jean-Pierre yesterday over the failures of Joe Biden's hurricane response with regard to Hurricane Helene.

00:36:04.000 The president's letter is not misinformation.

00:36:06.000 Would you agree? No, the way you're asking me the question is misinformation.

00:36:10.000 There's money that we are allocating to the impacted areas, and there's money there to help people who truly need it.

00:36:17.000 There are survivors who need the funding, who need the funding, and it's there.

00:36:20.000 You can't call a question that you don't like misinformation.

00:36:23.000 I actually said we have the money available to help survivors of Hurricane Helene and also Hurricane Milton.

00:36:34.000 Now, there's going to be a shortfall, right?

00:36:37.000 Because we don't know how bad Hurricane Milton is going to be.

00:36:40.000 And so we're going to need additional funding.

00:36:43.000 We're going to need additional funding.

00:36:45.000 That's exactly what I just asked about.

00:36:46.000 And you said it was misinformation.

00:36:48.000 What you're asking me is why Congress needs to come back and do their job.

00:36:51.000 That's what you're asking me. Congress needs to come back and do their job and provide extra assistance, extra funding to Disaster Relief Fund.

00:36:58.000 That's what Congress needs to do, and we're going to continue to urge that.

00:37:01.000 You may not want that. But that's okay.

00:37:03.000 That's what this president wants, and that's what the vice president wants.

00:37:05.000 Thanks, everybody. She's dressed up as a Chicago gangster from 1932. 1.00

00:37:25.000 In any case, she has to run away when asked a tough question about their handling of Hurricane Helene.

00:37:30.000 But the big issue is that Kamala Harris feels insulted. 0.80

00:37:32.000 She's a little insulted because, you know, she's not top priority for Governor DeSantis. 0.99

00:37:36.000 Absolutely pathetic. You know what should be top priority for her, for this administration, 0.98

00:37:40.000 would be fixing FEMA, which apparently is a full-scale disaster area on its own. 0.81

00:37:46.000 We'll get some more on that in just a second. Over the past two years, Daily Wire Plus has

00:38:24.000 Well, while Kamala Harris is very upset with Ron DeSantis about somehow not calling her back as though he ghosted her or something, while she is focused very strongly on all the people she's miffed at because, you know, they're not bothering to call her back because she's a useless person, it turns out that FEMA has been facing severe staffing shortages according to the New York Times.

00:38:44.000 The New York Times reporting yesterday, the Federal Emergency Management Agency is running out of staff to To deal with the potential devastation of Hurricane Milton as it barrels toward Tampa with wind speeds that have reached 175 miles per hour.

00:38:55.000 As of Monday morning, just 9% of FEMA personnel, or 1,217 people, were available to respond to the hurricane or other disasters according to the agency's daily operations briefing.

00:39:04.000 To put that into context, over the previous five years, one quarter of agency staff was available for deployment at this point in hurricane season, even in 2017.

00:39:13.000 Arguably FEMA's busiest year in the past decade, after Hurricane Harvey flooded Houston, Hurricane Irma plowed through Florida, and Hurricane Maria plunged Puerto Rico into darkness, FEMA's staffing reserves at this point in October were 19%, more than twice the levels they are right now.

00:39:27.000 Now FEMA's pretending that this is all totally fine, it's all totally normal.

00:39:30.000 But the reality is that FEMA is wildly understaffed.

00:39:35.000 In a report last year, the Nonpartisan Government Accountability Office found 35% of FEMA's positions were unfilled, partly because of rising disaster activity during the year, which increased burnout and employee attrition.

00:39:45.000 So let's just get this straight. We're not spending more money than any time in human history, the United States government.

00:39:50.000 Any time in human history. And they can't find people to staff FEMA? Like, literally, one of the only functions that pretty much everyone agrees is on the federal government's agenda at this point in time, and they can't find people to staff FEMA, this should be a major scandal.

00:40:04.000 Who's been in charge the last three and a half years?

00:40:05.000 I promise you, if this were Donald Trump, they'd be talking about how he had somehow blown it on FEMA, how President Trump had underfunded FEMA. They're still trying to do that routine, blame this on the Republicans.

00:40:14.000 It ain't the Republicans in charge. 0.98

00:40:17.000 They've spent more money on random crap over the past four years than literally any government in the history of all humanity. 0.86

00:40:24.000 And somehow, somehow, they couldn't find the cash to come up with to staff FEMA? Truly? 0.95

00:40:32.000 Congress last week approved FEMA's request to top up its disaster relief fund.

00:40:36.000 That was before Hurricane Milton.

00:40:38.000 Alejandro Mayorkas, Homeland Security Secretary last week, said FEMA needed even more funding, but they can't find people.

00:40:45.000 Apparently, some of FEMA's most highly trained personnel, which are grouped into what the agency calls cadres, are at particularly low levels.

00:40:52.000 As of Monday morning, of the 2,579 people who work in the agency's individual assistance cadre, four were available to deploy to Florida.

00:41:01.000 Of the 50 people who are assigned to act as federal coordinating officers, which are the directors of disaster operations, one was available as of Monday.

00:41:10.000 You want to talk about mismanagement at the highest level.

00:41:12.000 This is what mismanagement looks like.

00:41:13.000 Wait, wait, who's the president and the vice president again?

00:41:15.000 Maybe she should go to FEMA and talk to them.

00:41:18.000 Ron DeSantis doesn't work for Kamala Harris, but theoretically you know who's supposed to.

00:41:22.000 Maybe all the people she was using as a backdrop for her FEMA photo op a week ago.

00:41:28.000 Or maybe it turns out that FEMA has been pursuing other priorities.

00:41:33.000 Newly revealed audio and video from 2023, according to the New York Post, shows a webinar in which federal health and disaster personnel start talking about the urgent need to move away from policies that benefit the largest number of people and instead focus on disaster equity, meaning which minorities can we protect using federal resources, which by the way is racist and a violation of the Civil Rights Act.

00:41:58.000 The shift that we're seeing right now is a shift in emergency management from utilitarian principles where everything is designed for the greatest good for the greatest amount of people to disaster equity.

00:42:11.000 But we have to do more, right?

00:42:13.000 And so this topic is intersecting, I think, with a number of other topics where we have to look at policies And understand to what extent they have disadvantaged communities that had less assets, communities that had pre-existing vulnerabilities in accessing disaster-related recovery supports.

00:42:34.000 We also know that communities that are highly bonded within can survive in the immediate aftermath of a disaster.

00:42:40.000 But if they're not linked outside of their highly bonded communities, they will have less Ability to thrive and support and even influence how recovery looks in their communities.

00:42:51.000 So we have to be looking at making sure that we have highly bonded communities which would be and one of them that I would identify would be LGBT communities have to be highly linked across power structures before a disaster happens to help inform and guide how recovery looks.

00:43:11.000 How about this? How about they fire all these schmucks and get in people who actually know how to, you know, handle disasters? 0.99

00:43:16.000 How about that? Shouldn't that be a scandal? 1.00

00:43:18.000 Where is Kamala there? 1.00

00:43:20.000 What exactly would you say that she does?

00:43:22.000 Now, I understand the entire media apparatus is designed to turn Kamala Harris into something brand new.

00:43:28.000 And there's a poll out from the New York Times today that shows Kamala Harris up nationally 49 to 46 and says that a plurality of voters see her as a more changed candidate than Donald Trump.

00:43:37.000 That's insane. She's the current vice president of the United States. 1.00

00:43:41.000 The media have tried to do a wonderful job spinning her as something brand new.

00:43:44.000 But she wants it both ways.

00:43:46.000 Either she is a deeply responsible person who is very important in the government and Ronda Stanzas has to call her or she's completely irrelevant.

00:43:54.000 Which is it?

00:43:56.000 Which is it? Well, the reality is she's running a very bad campaign at this point.

00:44:01.000 The more people see her, the more they are likely to hate her.

00:44:05.000 And there is something that's going on with the Kamala Harris campaign.

00:44:07.000 So she's doing really well right now, apparently, with college-educated white voters. 0.99

00:44:11.000 College-educated white voters love Kamala Harris.

00:44:14.000 And they love Kamala Harris because she's precisely the sort of word-salad, jargony, synergistic candidate that college-educated people seem to like. 0.94

00:44:25.000 She gives the appearance of intelligence without having any content at all. 0.98

00:44:29.000 In this way, by the way, she's sort of the opposite of President Trump, who the media love to disparage as stupid, but who actually has actual meat for his policies that help Americans. 0.98

00:44:38.000 She says things that you would find in a corporate DEI session, and then everybody nods along and pretends that what they're saying is wise. 0.98

00:44:46.000 But Checha has nothing to say. It's exactly apparently what the college grads love. 0.98

00:44:49.000 Here's Harry Enten on CNN describing.

00:44:52.000 White college grads have been this group that have been moving further and further to the left.

00:44:56.000 All right, this is the Democratic margin among white college grads.

00:44:59.000 Look, Hillary Clinton won them by five points.

00:45:01.000 Then Joe Biden won them by nine.

00:45:03.000 Look at this margin that Kamala Harris is pulling up in the polls right now among white college grads. 1.00

00:45:09.000 It's an 18-point margin, double the margin that Joe Biden had just four years ago.

00:45:14.000 I went back through the record books.

00:45:16.000 This would be the largest win for a Democratic presidential candidate among white college grads Okay, so why is that happening? 1.00

00:45:26.000 Because Kamala Harris is a stupid person's idea of a smart person. 1.00

00:45:31.000 There are a lot of college grads in this country. 1.00

00:45:33.000 You know, when you think of a college grad, typically you're thinking of somebody from an Ivy League.

00:45:38.000 Typically you're thinking of somebody who's really bright.

00:45:39.000 It turns out there are a lot of college grads in this country overall.

00:45:43.000 Something like 35% of all American adults at this point who have already been of college age go to college.

00:45:48.000 And that number is increasing pretty radically.

00:45:51.000 Okay, well, those college grads apparently think that if you talk like a sociology professor, this somehow makes you smart. 1.00

00:45:57.000 Actually, it means that you're obfuscatory and stupid. 1.00

00:46:00.000 Kamala Harris is unfortunately obfuscatory. 1.00

00:46:04.000 She obfuscates.

00:46:05.000 And she is not. She is not wise.

00:46:08.000 There is nothing going on.

00:46:09.000 There is no policy. There is no meat on the bones.

00:46:11.000 There is nothing. She's an empty shell.

00:46:13.000 She's a coat of paint on a broken down jalopy, as I've now said a thousand times.

00:46:18.000 And she made that perfectly clear on 60 Minutes last night.

00:46:21.000 Kamala Harris is an empty shell, but this election is a toss-up.

00:46:24.000 So let's talk about something that's got the political establishment more nervous than

00:46:27.000 a left-winger at a free speech rally.

00:46:28.000 It's called the Cal-She. 0.99

00:46:29.000 It's the first and only legal prediction market in the United States.

00:46:32.000 For a century, the elites have been hoarding this privilege like it's the last avocado

00:46:35.000 toast in Brooklyn, but Cal-She blew the doors wide open.

00:46:38.000 They've secured approval from the feds to offer what they call event contracts.

00:46:42.000 Basically, you can take positions on whether future events will happen or not.

00:46:45.000 This is about leveraging your knowledge to make money and hedge against risk.

00:46:48.000 Plus, these markets are scary accurate at predicting outcomes, way more reliable than

00:46:53.000 The legacy media love to try it out.

00:46:54.000 Here's the kicker. Kalshi isn't just for elections.

00:46:57.000 You can trade on everything from economic indicators to climate change predictions.

00:47:00.000 So whether you want to profit from your political acumen or just stick it to the establishment by participating in the most accurate election forecast out there, Kalshi is your answer.

00:47:18.000 That's right, they're basically paying you to join the prediction revolution.

00:47:21.000 Let me spell it out one more time. K-A-L-S-H-I dot com slash Shapiro. 0.88

00:47:26.000 Again, deposit $100, receive $20 free to trade.

00:47:28.000 It's that simple. Don't wait. Head on over to Kalshi.com slash Shapiro today.

00:47:31.000 Again, Kamala Harris, not a smart human being, but the press have been trying to portray her as a smart human being. 1.00

00:47:36.000 When I say she's not a smart human being, I mean that.

00:47:38.000 She's not particularly bright. She's not like the dumbest person you ever met. 0.99

00:47:41.000 But she is the middle manager at a major corporation who basically is living out the dream by working in HR until they retire with some sort of pension. 0.96

00:47:53.000 That is what Kamala Harris in a normal world would be. 1.00

00:47:55.000 She's basically that except with politics. 1.00

00:47:58.000 She's been elevated to every position she ever holds, except for the Senate, 0.98

00:48:02.000 through no real performance of her own.

00:48:05.000 And the reality is even when she ran for the Senate, she was running against another Democrat, Loretta Sanchez.

00:48:10.000 She's certainly elevated to the vice presidency based on her own failures 1.00

00:48:14.000 in her first presidential campaign.

00:48:15.000 And any question, she was on 60 Minutes last night.

00:48:17.000 And probably when she did 60 Minutes, she was figuring that she was gonna get

00:48:20.000 a friendly interviewer.

00:48:20.000 After all, the legacy media have been carrying around a drool cup for her this entire election.

00:48:26.000 Unfortunately for her, she drew Bill Whitaker.

00:48:28.000 And Bill Whitaker, basically, he was Honey Badger.

00:48:32.000 He did not give a bleep. So he started asking her, you know, actual questions.

00:48:35.000 And the problem for Kamala Harris is that actual questions are her kryptonite. 0.99

00:48:39.000 Questions that actually, you know, seek answers about her policies or about what she wants to do or about her record.

00:48:46.000 Those are, it's like kryptonite to Superman.

00:48:50.000 It's incredible how fast she falls apart.

00:48:52.000 She is such a paper tiger of a candidate.

00:48:54.000 So, for example, she was asked by Bill Whitaker about the fact that she has switched pretty much all of her positions.

00:48:59.000 Here was her terrible answer.

00:49:01.000 Let me tell you what your critics and the columnists say.

00:49:05.000 Okay. They say that the reason so many voters don't know you is that you have changed your position on so many things.

00:49:13.000 You were against fracking.

00:49:15.000 Now you're for it.

00:49:17.000 You supported looser immigration policies, now you're tightening them up.

00:49:21.000 You were for Medicare for All, now you're not.

00:49:25.000 So many that people don't truly know what you believe or what you stand for, and I know you've heard that.

00:49:33.000 In the last four years, I have been Vice President of the United States, and I have been traveling our country, and I have been listening to folks.

00:49:41.000 And seeking what is possible in terms of common ground.

00:49:45.000 I believe in building consensus.

00:49:47.000 We are a diverse people, geographically, regionally, in terms of where we are and our backgrounds.

00:49:54.000 And what the American people do want is that we have leaders who can build consensus.

00:50:00.000 Where we can figure out compromise and understand it's not a bad thing,

00:50:04.000 as long as you don't compromise your values, to find common sense solutions.

00:50:10.000 And that has been my approach.

00:50:13.000 I'm sorry, the number of platitudes in that answer?

00:50:18.000 Bye.

00:50:19.000 I think I lost count.

00:50:21.000 Truly. Remember, the question is, people don't know you because you keep switching your positions.

00:50:25.000 And her answer was, I will not explain any of that.

00:50:28.000 I went on a bus one time.

00:50:30.000 I went around America and I built consensus.

00:50:32.000 In what way? In what way?

00:50:35.000 Well, the good news is, Bill Whitaker didn't let up on her.

00:50:37.000 So, he asked her, for example, about her economic plans.

00:50:40.000 And he pointed out that she has no way of effectuating her economic plans. 0.93

00:50:43.000 And her answer to that was, more platitudes.

00:50:46.000 My plan is about saying that when you invest in small businesses, you invest in the middle class, and you strengthen America's economy.

00:50:58.000 Small businesses are part of the backbone of America's economy.

00:51:01.000 But pardon me, Madam Vice President, the question was, how are you going to pay for it?

00:51:08.000 I'm going to make sure that the richest among us who can afford it pay their fair share in taxes.

00:51:16.000 It is not right that teachers and nurses and firefighters are paying a higher tax rate than billionaires and the biggest corporations.

00:51:25.000 And I plan on making that fair.

00:51:28.000 But we're dealing with the real world here.

00:51:30.000 But the real world includes...

00:51:31.000 How are you going to get this through Congress?

00:51:34.000 You know, when you talk quietly with a lot of folks in Congress, they know exactly what I'm talking about because their constituents know exactly what I'm talking about.

00:51:43.000 Their constituents are those firefighters and teachers and nurses.

00:51:50.000 She has no answers whatsoever.

00:51:51.000 You can see how flustered she's getting. You mean she's actually being called on how she's going to effectuate these plans?

00:51:55.000 By the way, the lie that the rich don't pay their fair share in America is the biggest lie in American economics.

00:52:00.000 It is such an unbelievable lie.

00:52:02.000 Let me explain. The top quintile of income earners in the United States don't pay some of the net taxes.

00:52:07.000 They pay all of the net taxes.

00:52:09.000 By net taxes, I mean amount you pay in versus amount you get out from the government.

00:52:15.000 All. Okay, this notion that people who are...

00:52:17.000 I've been in a bunch of different tax brackets in my life.

00:52:20.000 I've moved from paying middle-class tax brackets to paying very, very upper-class tax brackets.

00:52:25.000 And let me explain to you.

00:52:26.000 The amount of money that I sign over to the federal government every year is not, is not my fair share.

00:52:31.000 It is way more than my fair share.

00:52:34.000 The last year I was living in California between state and federal income tax.

00:52:38.000 I was paying out 50% of everything I earned to the federal and state government.

00:52:42.000 She is so unbelievably full of it on this.

00:52:45.000 It is maddening.

00:52:47.000 But she doesn't have any answers about anything.

00:52:49.000 So for example, she was asked a question about her immigration policy and Bill Whitaker's

00:52:52.000 like, I noticed that you let millions of people into the country and now you're shifting on

00:52:56.000 that.

00:52:57.000 Do you have any regrets?

00:52:58.000 And she then undid her handkerchief and showed her no regerts neck tattoo.

00:53:05.000 Was it a mistake?

00:53:07.000 To loosen the immigration policies as much as you did.

00:53:12.000 It's a long-standing problem.

00:53:15.000 And solutions are at hand.

00:53:17.000 And from day one, literally, we have been offering solutions.

00:53:22.000 What I was asking was, was it a mistake to kind of allow that flood to happen in the first place?

00:53:30.000 The policies that we have been proposing are about fixing a problem, not promoting a problem.

00:53:37.000 Okay? But the numbers did quadruple.

00:53:39.000 And the numbers today, because of what we have done, we have cut the flow of illegal immigration by half.

00:53:47.000 We have cut the flow of fentanyl by half.

00:53:51.000 But we need Congress to be able to act to actually fix the problem. 1.00

00:54:00.000 Bill Whitaker almost can't believe the stupidity of the person he's sitting with. 1.00

00:54:03.000 You can read it on his face. 1.00

00:54:04.000 He's like Jim Halpert in The Office.

00:54:06.000 He's like, I cannot believe this person is actually running for president of the United States.

00:54:10.000 Then she tries to explain about her long history of gun ownership.

00:54:14.000 As a gun owner, this is not how people who own guns talk about their guns.

00:54:20.000 I'm just going to say I'm skeptical of her gun ownership story.

00:54:24.000 You recently surprised people.

00:54:26.000 When you said that you are a gun owner, and then if someone came into your house...

00:54:31.000 That was not the first time I've talked about it.

00:54:33.000 That's not the first time I've talked about it.

00:54:35.000 So what kind of gun do you own, and when and why did you get it?

00:54:38.000 I have a Glock, and I've had it for quite some time.

00:54:43.000 And, I mean, look, Bill, my background is in law enforcement.

00:54:48.000 And so there you go.

00:54:51.000 Have you ever fired it?

00:54:52.000 Yes. Of course I have.

00:54:56.000 At a shooting range?

00:54:57.000 Yes, of course I have.

00:55:00.000 Okay, what kind of Glock?

00:55:01.000 What kind of Glock? It's a brand.

00:55:04.000 Usually you get the model, right?

00:55:05.000 Like, I have a Smith& Wesson M&P Shield.

00:55:08.000 Like, that's... Yes, I do not believe you, madam.

00:55:12.000 I have doubts.

00:55:14.000 And meanwhile, she also had comments on foreign policy.

00:55:16.000 So the comments were not particularly illuminating because she never has anything of importance to say.

00:55:22.000 Mostly, she just says, we'll deal with it.

00:55:24.000 We'll deal with it. Well, you've been vice president, I noticed, so you could have dealt with it before, but you're not.

00:55:28.000 Kamala Harris was asked about the fact that the Netanyahu government in Israel has basically

00:55:33.000 been ignoring the Biden White House. And the reason they've been ignoring the Biden White House is

00:55:36.000 because every time they tell the Biden White House what exactly is going on, the Biden White House

00:55:39.000 promptly leaks it to the press. It turns out that Joe Biden is not a pro-Israel president in any

00:55:45.000 serious way. It turns out that he believes that Israel basically exists in order to be his personal

00:55:51.000 plaything so he can sacrifice their interest to the Iranians at every available turn. Here was 0.99

00:55:55.000 Kamala Harris's answer to this question. It seems that Prime Minister Netanyahu is not listening.

00:56:03.000 Well, Bill, the work that we have done has resulted in a number of movements in that region by Israel that were very much prompted by or a result of many things, including our advocacy for what needs to happen in the region.

00:56:25.000 Well, that was totally unilluminating.

00:56:28.000 Really appreciate that. So that was one of her big media appearances, 60 Minutes, where she completely botched it. 0.99

00:56:32.000 She also went on a podcast called Call Her Daddy.

00:56:35.000 Now, I will admit, I've never listened to the Call Her Daddy podcast, mainly because I have no interest in listening to Alex Cooper talk about her latest techniques.

00:56:42.000 But, in any case, Kamala Harris apparently thought it was deeply important to go on the Call Her Daddy podcast, where she basically just spilled more platitudes, She clearly doesn't know what she's talking about. 0.95

00:56:53.000 So at one point during this interview with Alex Cooper, one of the great intellects of our time, again, most famous for explaining how many people she has slept with and in what positions, Kamala Harris started jabbering about starting a small business. 0.67

00:57:08.000 It is very clear from this clip she has no idea about the difference between a tax deduction and a check from the government, which are not the same thing at all.

00:57:17.000 Another thing that I'm really focused on is small businesses and startups and giving startups a $50,000 tax deduction because right now it's $5,000 and you can't start up anything, any small business with $5,000.

00:57:31.000 Okay, that is not what a tax deduction does, madam.

00:57:34.000 A tax deduction is where you get to deduct the expense against the tax that you would pay on that expenditure.

00:57:42.000 You don't get a $50,000 check from the government when you get a $50,000 tax deduction.

00:57:46.000 That's not how it works. But she's never run a business because she's an ignoramus about economics. 0.95

00:57:51.000 I think my favorite part of the Call Her Daddy podcast is when Kamala suddenly realized what a woman is. 1.00

00:57:57.000 It's always an amusing thing when Democrats violate their own precepts with regard to what a woman constitutes. 0.98

00:58:06.000 So you're never allowed to mention that a woman is a biological human female until someone makes a joke about it and that person's leftist, in which case you can laugh about it. 0.55

00:58:15.000 So here is Kamala cracking up and men apparently not knowing where a tampon goes. 0.98

00:58:19.000 Now, Can we be clear about this?

00:58:22.000 It's pretty obvious where tampon goes.

00:58:24.000 Which, by the way, is why they shouldn't be in boys' high school bathrooms, as her vice presidential candidate did as the Minnesota governor. 0.98

00:58:34.000 There is no place for a boy to put a tampon. 1.00

00:58:38.000 Idiots. But Kamala Harris knows it. 1.00

00:58:40.000 So now she sort of admits that she knows it.

00:58:42.000 So she's going to have to explain that to her vice presidential candidate, who, again, has nothing between the ears. 0.96

00:58:48.000 It's outrageous, I mean, daddy gang, to put it in our TikTok terms.

00:58:53.000 I have seen girls on the street walk up to men and be like, do you know where a tampon goes? 1.00

00:58:59.000 Do you know how many tampons we use?

00:59:03.000 And there's Kamala Harris laughing because men don't know where a tampon goes. 1.00

00:59:07.000 Define man. Define woman, please. 1.00

00:59:11.000 These people. This is the best they have to offer.

00:59:14.000 Oh yeah, she also has a vice presidential candidate. 0.98

00:59:16.000 So Tim Walz. Also appeared on 60 Minutes.

00:59:20.000 And it did not go amazingly well for him either.

00:59:22.000 Because, as we know, Tim Walz is an extraordinarily weird human being.

00:59:27.000 So, at one point, he was trying to make a case for Kamala Harris.

00:59:29.000 And he said that a president should know how to laugh.

00:59:34.000 What? That's your case?

00:59:35.000 A president should know how to laugh?

00:59:37.000 Get somebody from, like, a 1980s sitcom laugh track to be the president of the United States?

00:59:42.000 If I know how to laugh, I mean cackle like a hyena, then I suppose that Kamala Harris fits the bill. 0.98

00:59:47.000 Here's Tim Walls making a truly convincing case as to why the crazy joker-like cackler ought to be president of the United States. 0.91

00:59:55.000 We get along really well.

00:59:57.000 She's amazing. She makes me laugh. 0.68

00:59:59.000 And I think it's a good thing, by the way.

01:00:01.000 I think a president should know how to laugh, not at someone, but laugh with things or whatever.

01:00:07.000 And I like her. Walls was also asked about his history of being dishonest, and he said he has a problem being specific.

01:00:15.000 Yeah, we noticed. We noticed.

01:00:16.000 So this is the ticket. These are the people that want to be leading the country.

01:00:21.000 And somehow they're running dead even.

01:00:23.000 The American people ought to tune in right now because we have less than 30 days left until this election.

01:00:27.000 This ticket cannot be allowed to run the country. 0.95

01:00:30.000 She's an incompetent. She's a buffoon. 1.00

01:00:32.000 she's empty-headed, she's masquerading as some sort of intellect by basically regurgitating 1.00

01:00:38.000 crap from your company HR handbook, and Tim Walz has as many brain cells as he does years of age. 0.98

01:00:47.000 It's truly amazing that these folks are somehow considered like the top heap of American politics. 0.99

01:00:52.000 And here's the thing, whatever you think about President Trump, I don't care what you think

01:00:55.000 about President Trump, in terms of character, in terms of intellect,

01:00:57.000 You know what he did while he was president.

01:01:00.000 And what he gave you was way the hell better than what these people have given you over the past four years.

01:01:05.000 And by the way, over the past 12 of the last 16 years.

01:01:08.000 Because this would just be Obama administration part four.

01:01:12.000 So you know precisely what you're getting in this election.

01:01:14.000 Anybody who pretends that they don't know, there's like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get.

01:01:18.000 You know precisely what you're going to get.

01:01:20.000 Kamala Harris looks very much like Joe Biden, looks very much like Barack Obama.

01:01:23.000 And Donald Trump, too, looks very much like Donald Trump won.

01:01:26.000 And we all know it. And if the American people keep that in mind, then Donald Trump will win going away.

01:01:32.000 In just a second, I'm going to talk about my visit to New York with President Trump yesterday.
