Summary

Undeterred by his would-be successors' devastating loss to Donald Trump in the presidential election, President Obama maintained his cool and collected self-aggrandizement. According to Obama, Obama has been a massive success. Perhaps the most hilarious moment of delusion came when he said, No foreign terrorist organization has successfully executed an attack on our homeland that was directed from overseas. He then continued, saying no attack had been executed in a rainstorm with the attacker, who was drinking Miller High Life with one hand, while driving a tractor with the other, wearing a clown nose. To be fair, Obama didn t actually say that last part, but he may as well have. Obama still thinks he can cover his abysmal record with closely drawn definitions of terrorism, which is the equivalent of Bill Clinton saying he s been faithful to his wife except for certain areas, like sex. Which is technically true, so far as it goes, but just doesn t go all that far. Americans know that, and they reacted to Obama s consistent lying by omission by electing Trump, a man who needs pretty much no evidence to jump to conclusions. If Democrats want to ensure that Republicans continue to win elections, they ought to follow Trump s consistent, consistent, fact-finding-by-opinion mentality, because Trump is so eager to spot fact patterns, that he simply omits inconvenient data points. But Americans would actually rather have Trump s jump-to-conclusion mentality than Obama s avoid-conclusions-at-all-cost mentality. Ben Shapiro's mentality may lead to mistakes, but those mistakes are less likely to cost Western lives than Trump s less likely than a president who needs to make decisions by jumping to conclusions by omitting inconvenient facts. Transcript

00:00:00.000 So, last Friday, President Obama gave his last press conference as Commander-in-Chief.
00:00:05.000 Yeah.
00:00:06.000 Undeterred by his would-be successors' devastating loss to Donald Trump in the presidential election, unswayed by Republicans' complete domination of Congress, state legislatures, and governor mansions, he maintained his cool and collected self-aggrandizement.
00:00:17.000 Why not?
00:00:18.000 According to Obama, Obama has been a massive success.
00:00:21.000 Perhaps the most hilarious moment of delusion came when he talked about terrorism.
00:00:24.000 He said, over the past eight years, no foreign terrorist organization has successfully executed an attack on our homeland that was directed from overseas.
00:00:31.000 He then continued, saying no attack had been executed in a rainstorm, with the attacker, driving a tractor with one hand, drinking a Miller High Life with the other, wearing a clown nose.
00:00:40.000 To be fair, Obama didn't actually say that last part.
00:00:42.000 But he may as well have.
00:00:43.000 In order to define away the problem of terrorism that has grown dramatically worldwide on his watch, he simply spoke of terrorism as a problem of organized groups within defined territories.
00:00:52.000 Which is not how terrorism actually works.
00:00:54.000 Terrorist groups can recruit without formal structures, they can operate
00:00:58.000 as independent cells within various countries.
00:01:01.000 Just three days after Obama's statements, an alleged jihadi plowed a truck into a Christmas market in Berlin, the same day a Turkish terrorist murdered the Russian ambassador to Turkey.
00:01:09.000 These latest attacks are not outliers.
00:01:11.000 In the past several years, we've seen terrorist attacks in Turkey, in Germany, in Belgium, in Great Britain, in Canada, and Australia, among others.
00:01:17.000 This sort of terrorism isn't relegated to foreign countries, of course.
00:01:19.000 Here's an incomplete list of radical Islam-related terror attacks and attempts on American soil under Obama.
00:01:25.000 Shootings of American military recruiters in Little Rock, Arkansas, the massacre at Fort Hood, the Boston Marathon bombing, an attempted bombing of the airport in Wichita, Kansas, hatchet attacks on New York City police officers, attempted shootings at the Daraa Muhammad events in Garland, Texas, the attacks on military recruiters in Chattanooga, Tennessee, the massacre at the San Bernardino Inland Regional Center, the Orlando nightclub shooting, the New York and New Jersey bombings, and the Ohio State University car attack, just to name some.
00:01:47.000 Obama still thinks he can cover his abysmal record with closely drawn definitions of terrorism.
00:01:52.000 Which is the equivalent of Bill Clinton saying he's been faithful to his wife, except for certain areas, like sex.
00:01:57.000 Which is technically true, so far as it goes, but just doesn't go all that far.
00:02:00.000 Americans know that, and they reacted to Obama's consistent lying by omission by electing Trump, a man who needs pretty much no evidence to jump to conclusions.
00:02:08.000 Obama is so careful to avoid spotting fact patterns, he simply omits inconvenient data points.
00:02:13.000 Trump is so eager to spot fact patterns, he simply includes convenient non-data points.
00:02:17.000 But Americans would actually rather have Trump's jump-to-conclusions mentality than Obama's avoid-conclusions-at-all-cost mentality.
00:02:23.000 Trump's mentality may lead to mistakes, but those mistakes are less likely to cost Western lives.
00:02:28.000 So Obama can hawk his faux sophistication on terrorism as much as he wants.
00:02:32.000 If Democrats want to ensure that Republicans continue to win elections, they ought to follow his lead.
00:02:36.000 I'm Ben Shapiro.
00:02:36.000 This is The Ben Shapiro Show.
00:02:42.000 All righty, so we are back!
00:02:44.000 We're back for this shortened Christmas week.
00:02:47.000 Sorry, I was on the road a little bit.
00:02:48.000 There's a picture that's going around of me and Ted Cruz, and we are both laughing at something.
00:02:52.000 I will let you guess as to what it is that we are laughing about, but nonetheless, there's a lot to get to.
00:02:57.000 A lot has happened in my absence.
00:02:59.000 You leave for two days and the world is on fire.
00:03:01.000 Of course, when I'm here, the world's also on fire.
00:03:03.000 Unlike Andrew Klaven, I will not attribute all world events to my absence from the political scene, but
00:03:08.000 We have to begin today by saying hello to one of our advertisers, Texture.com.
00:03:12.000 So Texture, this is a great service, it's a great app, and what it allows you to do is you pay $9.99 a month and what you get in return is access to over 200 magazines.
00:03:21.000 You get 200 magazines, so you're not paying for a separate subscription to each magazine because the truth is you don't want to read every article in Time or every article in Newsweek or every article in Sports Illustrated.
00:03:30.000 We're good.
00:03:46.000 Free trial, and it is a great service.
00:03:49.000 I mean, the list of magazines is really, really long.
00:03:51.000 They give you access to all of these magazines, and not just one.
00:03:56.000 You can check back issues.
00:03:57.000 You can view bonus video content.
00:03:58.000 They curate articles and magazines just for you, so that you can access just the stuff you want to see.
00:04:03.000 It's stuff ranging from Sports Illustrated, and Entertainment Weekly, to Vanity Fair, and Rolling Stone, and Cosmo.
00:04:08.000 And the great thing, again, is that you don't have to buy a subscription to Cosmo.
00:04:11.000 You can just read the stupid article that Cosmo posted
00:04:13.000 Okay, so, while I was gone, the Democrats decided that it would be a great idea to double down on everything terrible that they ever thought about anything.
00:04:19.000 Which is just a genius move.
00:04:20.000 One day, thousands of years from now, people will look back and they will see that Americans liked Lena Dunham, or at least some Americans liked Lena Dunham, for example.
00:04:42.000 And they will say to themselves, why?
00:04:45.000 Just why?
00:04:46.000 Like, why Lena Dunham?
00:04:48.000 Why?
00:04:49.000 There is no answer.
00:04:50.000 I mean, those are cosmic questions that people will be asking themselves generations from now.
00:04:54.000 But the Democrats are addicted to Lena Dunham.
00:04:56.000 They love Lena Dunham because they love people who have the charisma and the brains and the looks of a russet potato.
00:05:02.000 But apparently the left just loves her.
00:05:05.000 So Lena Dunham was at the DNC, as you recall.
00:05:07.000 They loved her so much, they put her on stage at the DNC.
00:05:09.000 And here is what that looked like.
00:05:11.000 I am a pro-choice, feminist, sexual assault survivor with a chronic reproductive illness.
00:05:17.000 Donald Trump and his party think I should be punished for exercising my constitutional rights.
00:05:25.000 His rhetoric about women takes us back to a time when we were meant to be beautiful and silent.
00:05:31.000 Meanwhile, 22 years ago, Hillary Clinton declared that women's rights are human rights.
00:05:36.000 Okay, so one of the more deliberate elements of this election cycle has been watching Lena Dunham's continued mental meltdown over Donald Trump's victory.
00:05:44.000 Well now, Lena Dunham says that she wishes that she had had an abortion.
00:05:48.000 Right?
00:05:48.000 She said she wishes that she'd had an abortion.
00:05:50.000 She said, apparently, she informed her audience on her podcast that while she's never had an abortion personally, she wishes she had so she could do her part to reduce stigma around the issue.
00:06:00.000 And she said, I can say I still haven't had an abortion, but I wish I had.
00:06:05.000 Why?
00:06:07.000 Okay, so, if Democrats are looking to win Americans, probably the best way to do that is not to trot out at the DNC the lady who says that she wished that she had had a baby in her stomach, in her uterus, just so that she could murder the baby, so that she could feel the solidarity and joy of having murdered a baby.
00:06:22.000 I mean, it really is pretty egregious stuff.
00:06:24.000 Democrats usually have the brains to cover up their enthusiasm about abortion.
00:06:28.000 They usually have the brains to say things like, Bill Clinton's safe, legal, and rare, or it's a tragic decision a woman has to make.
00:06:33.000 Right?
00:06:33.000 Ignoring, of course, the fact that if it's a tragic decision, then you shouldn't be allowed to do it.
00:06:38.000 Right?
00:06:39.000 The whole idea of legalizing abortion rests on the notion that it's not a tragic decision.
00:06:44.000 It's the same thing as removing a polyp.
00:06:46.000 But the Democrats usually don't speak in that sort of language because they understand that it alienates people.
00:06:50.000 But Lena Dunham full-on embraces it.
00:06:52.000 She says that she wishes that she'd had an abortion so she could be part of the select sisterhood of women who have engaged and pursued the use of the right to murder a baby in her womb.
00:07:03.000 If this is the sort of thing that Democrats think is going to win elections, by all means they should continue to push it.
00:07:07.000 Because the fact is the vast majority of Americans don't think that abortion is a pro-social thing to do.
00:07:13.000 They don't think that abortion is a good thing to do.
00:07:15.000 Even people who are pro-choice, generally.
00:07:17.000 Don't think abortion is a good thing.
00:07:20.000 They may think it's a necessary thing, but most of them don't think it's a good thing, because most of them still have a basic semblance of discomfort with abortion.
00:07:27.000 She actually said on this podcast that that was one of the reasons she wishes she'd had one, because people were talking about their abortions and she felt uncomfortable.
00:07:33.000 Because deep down in Lena Dunham's body, there still resides a small spark of godly soul that says to her, yeah, you should be uncomfortable with people killing babies.
00:07:42.000 And she says, I want to extinguish that by presumably getting pregnant and killing the baby.
00:07:46.000 She's now come out and apologized because whenever Democrats get caught doing stuff, they come out and apologize falsely.
00:07:50.000 But that's, of course, what she thinks.
00:07:52.000 And that's not the only way in which Democrats have lost their minds and are doubling down on everything radical that they can possibly conceive of.
00:07:58.000 The other thing that came out over the last couple of days, of course, this
00:08:01.000 We're good to go.
00:08:19.000 It's about to be a new year, and here's a few things we think you could do a little bit better in 2017.
00:08:43.000 First off, try to recognize that America was never great for anyone who wasn't a white guy.
00:08:49.000 Can we all just agree that Black Lives Matter isn't the opposite of All Lives Matter?
00:08:53.000 Okay, so.
00:08:54.000 Sorry, Austin is running back and forth to TV screen to computer.
00:08:57.000 It's amusing to watch.
00:08:58.000 I'm going to continue this pattern.
00:08:59.000 But I love that the first gal gets up and says, Can we agree America was never great for anyone who wasn't a white male?
00:09:06.000 No, we can't agree on that at all.
00:09:08.000 As a Jew, with ancestors who were Jews, I can pretty much agree America is the greatest country that God ever created.
00:09:14.000 By the way, for black people living in today's America, America is the greatest country that God ever created.
00:09:20.000 And even during Jim Crow, America was a much better country for black people than the vast majority of countries around the world, which is not a case in favor of Jim Crow, God forbid.
00:09:27.000 But to suggest that America was never great for anybody except white men is just a bunch of crap.
00:09:33.000 I mean, how about white women, by the way?
00:09:34.000 White women have had it better in America than any place else on Earth.
00:09:36.000 I mean, America is heaven for white women.
00:09:40.000 White women now earn more than white men.
00:09:41.000 White women are going to college at a higher rate than white men.
00:09:45.000 Even in the supposedly horrific, terrible, horrible, horrible, terrible 50s, women were actually pretty happy, if you look at the polls, of female satisfaction, because they were living in a prosperous country.
00:09:56.000 And what a bunch of nonsense.
00:09:57.000 And then this woman says, can we just agree that Black Lives Matter doesn't just mean Black Lives Matter.
00:10:02.000 All Lives Matter is not a response to Black Lives Matter.
00:10:05.000 Uh, no, because the entire Black Lives Matter movement is predicated on the notion that black lives are specifically under different assault than other lives in the United States by white people, and that is not true.
00:10:16.000 And then I do love the fact that where they go next in this MTV video is they say, Black Lives Matter, you know, it doesn't, All Lives Matter is not a proper response to Black Lives Matter, because of course all lives matter, but we're just talking about black lives now, and then the next thing they say is that not all lives matter.
00:10:29.000 Black lives just matter.
00:10:31.000 There's no need to overcomplicate it.
00:10:33.000 Also, blue lives matter isn't a thing.
00:10:35.000 Cops weren't born with blue skin.
00:10:37.000 Right?
00:10:38.000 I mean...
00:10:39.000 Yeah, they want born blue.
00:10:41.000 Stop bragging about being woke.
00:10:43.000 Stop saying woke.
00:10:44.000 Learn what mansplaining is, and then stop doing it.
00:10:47.000 Oh, and if you're a judge, don't prioritize the well-being of a- Making Austin run back and forth is really amusing.
00:10:52.000 Okay, so, don't use woke.
00:10:54.000 Okay, how about you stop using woke?
00:10:55.000 It's obnoxious and no one knows what the hell you're talking about.
00:10:58.000 Yeah, oh, you're woke.
00:11:00.000 Woke to what?
00:11:01.000 Did you awake?
00:11:02.000 Did you wake up?
00:11:05.000 Why are you using a passive verb in place of an active one?
00:11:08.000 In any case, I do love the idea.
00:11:11.000 Don't use woke.
00:11:12.000 Also, stop mansplaining to us.
00:11:14.000 Stop mansplaining to us.
00:11:16.000 Mansplaining is the stupidest word that anyone ever created.
00:11:18.000 Mansplaining.
00:11:20.000 It's called an explanation.
00:11:21.000 If a man is doing it and it is worthwhile, that does not mean that he's doing it as a man.
00:11:28.000 Men used to have a word for womansplaining.
00:11:30.000 It was called nagging.
00:11:32.000 Feel free to take Kanye West, though.
00:11:33.000 You guys can happen.
00:11:37.000 You know what you did, Kanye.
00:12:02.000 Nobody who has black friends says that they have black friends.
00:12:05.000 And just because you have black friends doesn't mean you're not racist.
00:12:08.000 You can be racist with black friends.
00:12:10.000 Look guys, we know nobody's perfect.
00:12:12.000 But honestly, you could do a little better in 2017.
00:12:14.000 Some of you guys do a great job.
00:12:17.000 Some of you don't.
00:12:19.000 Please, because 2016 is bad.
00:12:21.000 2017 can't be worse than this, alright?
00:12:23.000 Because this is bad.
00:12:25.000 Okay, I'm gonna listen to the black guy with the cat on his shirt telling me about what it means to be a better person because he's a black guy with a cat on his shirt.
00:12:32.000 That's basically what this comes down to, right?
00:12:34.000 I mean, this video comes down to it's a bunch of not-white males lecturing white males, and that's okay because they have moral superiority because they're not white males.
00:12:40.000 Here's my question.
00:12:41.000 What do these people actually do?
00:12:42.000 Does anyone know any of these people?
00:12:44.000 Like, I don't know any of these people.
00:12:45.000 I don't know them from Adam.
00:12:46.000 I don't care what color they are or what their sex is.
00:12:49.000 It doesn't matter to me.
00:12:50.000 Do they do decent things?
00:12:51.000 I mean, for all I know, these people, this is a series of axe murderers that went to San Quentin and dragged out of prison to lecture white males.
00:12:56.000 The idea that these folks are granted some extra legitimacy because of their color or because of their sex
00:13:02.000 What a bunch of absolute nonsense.
00:13:04.000 I also love the fact, there's an irony to the fact that you have the one guy saying, just because you, don't say you have black friends, that doesn't mean that you're not a racist.
00:13:13.000 And then this entire video is built around the concept that because they're showing a bunch of black people, showing some black people and some Hispanic people, some Asian people, because they're showing various diverse people, that means they can be racist against white people.
00:13:25.000 So there's a certain irony to that as well.
00:13:26.000 But again, all of this is designed, all of this is designed not to win elections.
00:13:31.000 It is designed to further polarize the population.
00:13:34.000 They think that demographically, in the next election cycle, they're going to have some advantages because they think that by 2020, millennials will represent people who are currently millennials, will represent 40% of the voting base.
00:13:44.000 They think that the Hispanic base is going to grow.
00:13:46.000 They think that they're just going to out-demographics the rest of the United States.
00:13:49.000 But it turns out that that's not how politics works.
00:13:53.000 As late as two years ago, Democrats were saying we'd never win.
00:13:56.000 Well, six months ago, Democrats were saying Republicans would never win another presidential election.
00:14:00.000 In 2008, their idea was Republicans would never win back Congress.
00:14:03.000 By 2010, they had.
00:14:05.000 People are people.
00:14:06.000 They have ideas.
00:14:07.000 Their brains function.
00:14:08.000 And they're not just a set of physical characteristics on the outside.
00:14:12.000 And so you can't just suggest that white people are bad and everybody else is good and then hope to win elections.
00:14:16.000 That's not how any of this works.
00:14:18.000 But again, Democrats don't know this and so they keep doubling down on the stupid.
00:14:22.000 One of the more amusing sites over the weekend, by the way, was Bill Clinton on Monday cast his electoral vote.
00:14:26.000 He was one of the electors from New York and he was hoping he'd be casting the winning electoral votes for Hillary.
00:14:31.000 He cast his electoral votes and he wept as he realized that Hillary would now be lurking around Chappaquiddick or Chappaquessamore and he'd have to find a different outhouse to stash his mistress.
00:14:41.000 Yeah, but I've never cast a vote I was prouder of.
00:14:45.000 You know, I watched her work for two years.
00:14:47.000 I watched her battle through that bogus email deal, be vindicated at the end.
00:14:54.000 Secretary Powell came out.
00:14:56.000 She fought through that.
00:14:57.000 She fought through everything.
00:14:58.000 And she prevailed against it all.
00:15:00.000 But, you know, then at the end we had the Russians and the FBI deal, but she couldn't prevail against that.
00:15:07.000 She did everything else and still won by 2.8 million votes.
00:15:10.000 Thanks, guys.
00:15:10.000 We got to run.
00:15:16.000 Look, that's up to the experts.
00:15:18.000 The finest vote counter in America is Nate Silver.
00:15:21.000 He told you what cost him the election.
00:15:23.000 Thank you, Mr. President.
00:15:24.000 Thanks, guys.
00:15:25.000 Okay, and then Bill Clinton, by the way, said that Trump only knows how to win angry white males.
00:15:29.000 That was his summation of the election.
00:15:32.000 Bill should know, since that was a large part of his base in 1992 and 1996, where the same dispossessed white folks that voted for Trump voted for Bill Clinton in 1992 and 1996.
00:15:42.000 All of this stuff is just alienating the same voters they just lost.
00:15:46.000 There's no purpose to it other than they think that the demographics are going to save them.
00:15:50.000 Demographics don't save you once you decide to blow off half the population, more than half the population.
00:15:55.000 Okay, so now we got to say hello before we go any further.
00:15:57.000 And we have some pretty stunning video coming up and a lot more to talk about, including Trump's infrastructure plans and the continued fallout from what's happening over in Turkey and Russia.
00:16:08.000 But first we have to say hello to our advertisers over at CISO.
00:16:11.000 So CISO.com
00:16:13.000 We're good.
00:16:29.000 We're good to go.
00:16:58.000 Are really, really funny.
00:17:00.000 They have some fake reality shows that are really funny.
00:17:03.000 CISO.com is the place to be.
00:17:04.000 $3.99 a month.
00:17:05.000 My wife and I really, really enjoy it.
00:17:07.000 So CISO.com, use that promo code Ben, get two months for free.
00:17:10.000 Okay, so again, Democrats are intent on losing 2020 the same way they lost 2016.
00:17:15.000 And so during the Electoral College vote on Monday, you can see how the protesters reacted to Wisconsin electors voting for Donald Trump.
00:17:27.000 We're going to go to war and die because of you people!
00:17:30.000 You have no right!
00:17:31.000 No right!
00:17:32.000 We're all going to go to war and die!
00:17:49.000 Yeah, way to really draw in those voters and really convince people that they were wrong, screaming at the electors, whose job it is to just confirm the vote.
00:17:57.000 And then there's this video, which has been making the rounds.
00:17:59.000 This apparently is a Trump supporter being beaten and dragged out of his car.
00:18:02.000 This is going around a couple of weeks ago.
00:18:03.000 Apparently he's okay, but this video has been going around as well.
00:18:06.000 I believe vote Trump, dammit!
00:18:08.000 You voted Trump!
00:18:09.000 You voted Trump!
00:18:10.000 Yeah!
00:18:10.000 Yeah, we voted Trump!
00:18:13.000 Yeah!
00:18:21.000 And then there is this guy being dragged alongside the car.
00:18:23.000 Ay ay ay ay ay ay.
00:18:40.000 That is awful.
00:18:41.000 So, yeah, that kind of stuff is definitely going to help win Democrats back their voting base that they lost in this particular election cycle.
00:18:49.000 Also, they can continue to fuss.
00:18:50.000 Keith Olbermann, who has completely lost what was left of his tiny mind, what was not occupied by his kittens and his agriculture degree from Cornell, he's lost what was left of it.
00:19:00.000 And now he's saying that the best way to resist Trump is to never say President Trump.
00:19:04.000 Never say it.
00:19:06.000 Not using one word can be just as forceful as perpetually using another.
00:19:11.000 Never address Trump as President.
00:19:16.000 He is Trump.
00:19:18.000 Just Trump.
00:19:21.000 Never President.
00:19:24.000 The title of President?
00:19:27.000 That we must protect for a happier and more honest time.
00:19:31.000 Resistance means refusal.
00:19:35.000 Resist peace.
00:19:41.000 He's been reduced to saying single words at a time because he can't speak in phrases anymore as his brain breaks down in front of him.
00:19:47.000 If you think that Republicans are going to be devastated because Keith Olbermann doesn't call him President Trump, yeah right.
00:19:53.000 I also remember, don't you remember when all the Democrats were saying that if you called Obama Obama and not President Obama it was racist?
00:19:59.000 That was a thing, like very early on in his presidency.
00:20:01.000 If you called him Barack Hussein Obama, if you used his middle name, that was racist.
00:20:05.000 And if you used his last name only, that was racist.
00:20:08.000 You had to call him President Barack Obama or President Obama.
00:20:11.000 But you can do it against Trump, and that is a way to resist.
00:20:14.000 Peace.
00:20:16.000 I'm inside a box.
00:20:17.000 No one knows how to get out.
00:20:19.000 It's amazing.
00:20:20.000 And then he, Keith Olbermann may in fact be the first actual live speaking mime.
00:20:25.000 He's not actually a silent mime, he actually speaks.
00:20:27.000 And finally, you have Robert Reich, the former Secretary of Labor under Bill Clinton, and he has a proposal to stop Donald Trump, and here it is.
00:20:36.000 A lot of people are analyzing what's going on right now.
00:20:39.000 Not a lot are doing what you did and actually talking about a resistance agenda that talks about getting Democrats in Congress and across the country to pledge to oppose the Trump agenda, to boycotting all Trump products, real estate, hotels, resorts, everything around the world.
00:20:57.000 Can you go through what you're suggesting?
00:21:00.000 Yes.
00:21:01.000 Amy, generally, I think we do have to regard this as not a normal presidency.
00:21:09.000 You know, some people say, oh, well, it's just a, we've had conservative, pompous, narcissistic presidents before.
00:21:15.000 This is not normal.
00:21:17.000 This is really dangerous.
00:21:20.000 And we have to resist.
00:21:21.000 We have to have a peaceful
00:21:23.000 They keep doing this.
00:21:24.000 We have to resist.
00:21:24.000 Okay, your resistance is just tears that Donald Trump will swig at night.
00:21:28.000 The idea that your boycott is going to do anything to the Trump Organization is absolutely nonsense.
00:21:32.000 He now has the biggest brand on planet Earth.
00:21:33.000 He's the President of the United States.
00:21:35.000 So, Robert Reich's boycott means nothing.
00:21:38.000 Also, you keep hearing Democrats use these sorts of words like we cannot normalize Trump.
00:21:41.000 We can't just say it's the new normal.
00:21:43.000 We can't normalize him.
00:21:44.000 It's not up to you.
00:21:45.000 It's not up to you.
00:21:46.000 He's gonna do what he's gonna do.
00:21:47.000 And people are either gonna like it, or they ain't gonna like it.
00:21:49.000 But you don't get to decide what's normal.
00:21:51.000 You guys decided that Barack Obama's behavior as president was normal.
00:21:54.000 You decided that Bill Clinton's behavior as president was normal.
00:21:56.000 You don't get to decide what's normal and what's not.
00:21:59.000 I mean, in your world, it is not normal for a Christian baker to be able to not bake a cake for a same-sex wedding, but it is normal for a nine-year-old boy to be a nine-year-old girl.
00:22:07.000 So you definitely do not get to define normal for me.
00:22:10.000 You definitely do not get to define normal.
00:22:12.000 I'm fine with the idea that Trump does things that are abnormal, but Robert Reich and company do not get to decide what is abnormal and what should be normalized and what should not, because they are so far beyond the pale of what is even reasonable, that to have them draw the outer limit of normal and put Trump beyond it is just ridiculous.
