00:00:00.000 So here's the deal.
00:00:01.000 The hard left is not just wrong. 1.00
00:00:03.000 They are not just being stupid. 0.98
00:00:05.000 Many of them are literally working for and with enemies of the United States, which is why podcaster and streamer Hassan Piker was just subpoenaed by the Justice Department. 0.99
00:00:14.000 Hassan Piker is not the victim of some right wing persecution.
00:00:18.000 He allegedly aided the Cuban communist regime, which should not be a shock.
00:00:21.000 The guy's an actual communist.
00:00:23.000 I mean, yeah, he shops at Cartier, but he's still a communist.
00:00:26.000 And yes, he aided America's enemies, allegedly.
00:00:29.000 And he's not the only one.
00:00:30.000 Democrats are running a congressional candidate.
00:00:32.000 Who allegedly worked with an Al Qaeda front group.
00:00:35.000 They're running another candidate in Michigan who's legitimately a terror supporter. 0.80
00:00:39.000 It's why, even on Memorial Day, leftists were holding hands with the Iranian mullahs and illegal immigrants. 0.67
00:00:44.000 It's also why the left is turning even harder to the left every day. 0.99
00:00:47.000 They think that's where the energy is.
00:00:49.000 Yes, we now have the Democrats' 2024 autopsy.
00:00:52.000 It shows exactly what you would think.
00:00:54.000 They went nuts and then they lost.
00:00:56.000 But Democrats are ignoring that autopsy because instead they've decided to steer toward the socialist left that hates pretty much everything that makes America awesome and successful.
00:01:05.000 Instead, they'd like to punish innovation and success to reward terrorist sympathizers.
00:01:09.000 And most of all, most of all, the hard left wants control.
00:01:13.000 So here's the big question Will we, the American people, give them that control?
00:01:17.000 That's the only question that matters.
00:01:19.000 We'll get to all of that, plus the latest updates from the Texas Senate primary on the Republican side, breaking news on negotiations over the Iran war, and a quick tour of the failed state that is California.
00:01:29.000 This is The Ben Shapiro Show.
00:01:38.000 Well, over the weekend, Hassan Piker got really, really sad.
00:01:41.000 He got really, really sad because it turns out that federal officials served subpoenas to him as well as to Code Pink co founder Susan Medea Benjamin, who is a nut job.
00:01:51.000 All of this, according to Fox News, is part of a wider investigation into whether U.S. organizations and leaders violated U.S. laws and sanctions in supporting Cuba's communist regime.
00:02:00.000 Now, again, you can visit Cuba, you actually can, but you're not allowed to stay at particular hotels that are linked with the government or the military.
00:02:07.000 And you're certainly not supposed to bring aid to, you know, the actual government and military.
00:02:11.000 Well, apparently, Piker and Benjamin are among the people who've been caught in this federal inquiry into whether activists who traveled there violated sanctions law, including potential contacts with Cuban government personnel or entities on the island.
00:02:25.000 So there are some administrative subpoenas, according to the Fox News website called Requests for Information RFI.
00:02:32.000 They seek financial, logistical, and communications information revolving around trips.
00:02:36.000 There were two big trips that were bragged about delegations from the Nuestra America convoy or Our America convoy, which brought together, as you recall, a bunch of left wing nut jobs. 1.00
00:02:46.000 To travel around in dinky carts to basically poverty tour.
00:02:51.000 And you remember, we played clips on the show of Hassan Piker staying at a five star hotel with air conditioning, talking about how everybody in Cuba was actually super duper duper happy being in the heat without air conditioning or electricity, you know, as a communist would.
00:03:06.000 Well, it turns out that this entire shebang has been financed, apparently, according to Fox News, by Roy Singham.
00:03:16.000 Roy Singham lives in China.
00:03:19.000 His name is Neville Roy Singham.
00:03:20.000 He has pumped some $278 million into nonprofit groups that have been pushing pro China, pro Cuba, anti US narratives, and street protests for almost a decade.
00:03:30.000 Well, especially since he got married to the Code Pink co founder, Jody Evans.
00:03:33.000 Again, as you will notice, one of the people who's been caught up in the federal investigation is Midia Benjamin, who is Code Pink.
00:03:40.000 Code Pink received $1.33 million from Singham after he married Evans.
00:03:44.000 So, what precisely did Hassan Piker do?
00:03:47.000 Well, there are allegations.
00:03:48.000 That Nuestra America convoy, which is this group that he went with, brought supplies directly to the Communist Party of Cuba.
00:03:54.000 There are allegations that they stayed at a five star hotel on the Cuba restricted list because of ties with the Cuban government and military, and that he participated in and financed a coordination flotilla without a license from the Treasury Department.
00:04:06.000 Now, the punishments can be somewhat severe here.
00:04:09.000 If there is a civil punishment that happens under what's called legally a strict liability standard, a strict liability standard means I don't have to prove intent.
00:04:16.000 So if you just stayed at that hotel and you ended up funding the Cuban government, You could have civil liability that amounts to tens of thousands of dollars, up to approximately 65 grand to 112 grand per individual violation.
00:04:30.000 And then, theoretically, there are criminal charges that could be pursued.
00:04:34.000 Here, you'd have to have intent.
00:04:35.000 You'd have to show that, for example, Hassan Piker knew that he was helping the communist regime, it wasn't by accident.
00:04:42.000 And this would amount to up to 10 years in federal prison for individual violations of the Cuban assets control regulations, or criminal fines up to a quarter million dollars.
00:04:51.000 Already coming up, Hassan Piker responds, and we look into who may have ratted on him or dogged on him.
00:04:57.000 I will explain in a moment.
00:04:58.000 First, there are basically two kinds of monthly bills in life the bills people actively think about, and the bills that have become so automatic, nobody even remembers what they cost anymore.
00:05:06.000 Wireless bills?
00:05:07.000 Well, they're usually in that second category.
00:05:09.000 Most people can't tell you what their current phone plan includes, what they're paying for, whether they're getting a good deal.
00:05:14.000 They just know the bill shows up every month because when people assume expensive is the new normal, they stop asking questions.
00:05:18.000 That's part of why Pure Talk stands out.
00:05:20.000 Pure Talk, which is veteran led, backed by 100% US based customer service, Now offers unlimited high speed data for just $34.99 a month.
00:05:27.000 So the obvious question becomes if you can get unlimited data, reliable nationwide 5G coverage, and actual human customer support for $34.99, why are people still paying double that? 0.93
00:05:36.000 That's a dumb thing to do.
00:05:37.000 One thing that's also refreshing about PureTalk, they actually let people try the service without turning it into some complicated commitment. 0.86
00:05:43.000 You can test PureTalk for 30 days with no contract and no cancellation fees.
00:05:47.000 And the switch itself can happen in as little as 10 minutes.
00:05:50.000 Competent customer service has become really, really rare these days.
00:05:53.000 Sometimes it's automated.
00:05:54.000 Sometimes you're talking with somebody who's not speaking English particularly well.
00:05:57.000 PureTalk's customer service team is based in the United States, and that increasingly feels like a competitive advantage all by itself.
00:06:02.000 Head on over to puretalk.comslash Shapiro.
00:06:04.000 Claim unlimited high speed data for just $34.99.
00:06:07.000 Again, That's puretalk.com slash Shapiro to switch to my wireless company, America's wireless company, Pure Talk.
00:06:13.000 Now, naturally, Hassan Piker's response to this was to complain about the so called Epstein class.
00:06:18.000 Now, the Epstein class is a gigantic misdirect.
00:06:21.000 And the idea is that there is a criminal upper class that was deeply embedded in a sex trafficking ring for children. 0.50
00:06:28.000 On the program, we have discussed this case ad infinitum, ad nausea.
00:06:32.000 What the cases actually show, which is that Jeffrey Epstein was, in fact, a pervert and a pedophile, and that he was associated with very, very rich and famous people.
00:06:41.000 But there is no evidence that he actually trafficked children to any of those other rich or famous people.
00:06:46.000 There's some evidence, it appears, that he was trafficking overage women to some of these people, but there is no evidence that he was trafficking underage children to any of these rich and famous people.
00:06:57.000 Nonetheless, there has been this widespread theory that basically there is a child sex trafficking ring that embeds basically all areas of the American upper class everybody in government, everybody in media, everybody in entertainment, in finance, and all the rest.
00:07:13.000 And so when he says Epstein class, understand. 0.81
00:07:15.000 That what he's doing is he is just making a class argument as to why he should not be punished for helping the Cubans. 0.81
00:07:21.000 That's all. 0.65
00:07:22.000 So he tweeted out the American government would rather try to criminalize delivering aid to a country we've starved than punish the Epstein class. 0.95
00:07:29.000 Now, again, if he can name these specific people and what specific crimes they've committed who should be punished, I'm with him. 0.91
00:07:35.000 I mean, I have a very easy standard when it comes to legal violations.
00:07:38.000 If you commit a legal violation, you should be prosecuted.
00:07:40.000 But that's not what he's doing here.
00:07:42.000 Again, it's an avoidance tactic.
00:07:43.000 Well, Hassan Piker looks very upset about this.
00:07:47.000 I do love when he dons his 1940s era impoverished journalist outfit from his $3 million mansion in Beverly Hills. 0.99
00:07:55.000 Here he was explaining that they are up his ass and it's not great for him. 0.98
00:07:59.000 He seems a little bit sad, Hassan Piker, a little sad. 0.99
00:08:02.000 And, you know, I can't say that he doesn't deserve it because I think he deserves it on pretty much every level.
00:08:09.000 In fact, as we'll get to in a moment, it may be.
00:08:13.000 The question as to who informed on him, I mean, there are memes online suggesting who informed on Hassan Piker.
00:08:20.000 And it may be one theory his dog.
00:08:24.000 I mean, it's a meme of a golden retriever, I believe, calling up the FBI.
00:08:32.000 That, of course, is a reference to Hassan Piker allegedly zapping his dog on the air to keep him in play.
00:08:36.000 In any case, here is Hassan Piker being sad. 0.58
00:08:39.000 You know, it's sad when the Cartier communist gets caught with his hand in the cookie jar. 0.70
00:08:43.000 Here we go.
00:08:45.000 I'm not going to lie to you guys, it's not great.
00:08:50.000 The news is not great.
00:08:52.000 Okay. 0.99
00:08:55.000 I mean, it's bullshit, but still not great that, you know, they're after your boy. 0.99
00:09:06.000 They're up my. 0.99
00:09:08.000 Oh, they're after.
00:09:09.000 Oh, that's sad.
00:09:10.000 I mean, you mean just for going to Cuba and helping to massage a truly evil regime that's responsible for the imprisonment of all political dissenters, the murder of thousands of people over the course of decades, and the forced exile of tens of thousands more?
00:09:25.000 I mean, that's so sad that people are being mean to Hassan Piker.
00:09:27.000 I mean, maybe he should flee to China where all of his friends are.
00:09:30.000 I mean, he says he loves Chairman Mao.
00:09:31.000 Maybe he should go there.
00:09:33.000 Maybe you should leave our country because clearly his loyalty to our country does not exist. 0.61
00:09:38.000 Well, he did explain by accident who's been funding all of this, and the answer is Roy Singham, who again lives in China.
00:09:47.000 Roy Singham is an American citizen, he lives in China now, and he's a centimillionaire.
00:09:54.000 I think he has almost a billion dollars, not sure how much money he has now, but he's been a funding vehicle for a lot of political.
00:10:04.000 A lot of political movements in the country, like a lot of activism, and they hate that.
00:10:09.000 Like the American government hates that.
00:10:11.000 So they're trying to jam him up, you know?
00:10:16.000 They're trying to hit him on anything and everything they possibly can. 1.00
00:10:19.000 Again, the same people like the Hassan Pikers who will accuse anyone and everyone of dual loyalty. 0.94
00:10:23.000 They're happy to take money from a guy who left America to live in China, an enemy of the United States, and then funds left wing causes in the United States to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars. 0.94
00:10:33.000 By the way, this is nothing new.
00:10:35.000 International.
00:10:36.000 Communist agents have been a part of the communist ideological bloc since literally the beginning of the Soviet Union.
00:10:43.000 I mean, there are attempts during World War II by communist affiliated parties to undermine places like Great Britain and the United States in the middle of World War II, particularly Britain, because Russia at that time was, of course, on the side of the Nazi government.
00:10:57.000 Well, here is Piker back in March of 2025 admitting communications with the communist regime in Cuba, which again may be a crime.
00:11:07.000 I want to go to Cuba.
00:11:08.000 Would you be down?
00:11:09.000 I Love Cuba.
00:11:11.000 Oh, yeah, you'd be down.
00:11:12.000 Yeah, I feel like I got there.
00:11:15.000 The Cuban government actually hit my contact from the embassy and told him that if the only thing stopping us all from coming to Cuba was the consistent internet access, we can make it happen. 0.84
00:11:28.000 Yeah, Cuba is sick.
00:11:30.000 Wait, like the government reached out to you. 0.93
00:11:32.000 So, yeah, yeah, of course.
00:11:34.000 It's well, not reached out to me.
00:11:36.000 There's like a middleman there.
00:11:38.000 By the way, that's him admitting that they were going to provide him with the internet access. 0.53
00:11:42.000 Okay, so again, you hanging out with the communist Cuban government, they are enemies of the United States. 0.51
00:11:48.000 And this is part and parcel of a broader philosophy on the left that America is bad and all of our enemies are therefore good. 0.51
00:11:55.000 That because America is successful, we are the great exploiter on planet Earth, and therefore we must be laid low by our enemies. 0.86
00:12:00.000 And I wish it were just Hassan Piker.
00:12:02.000 I mean, that would be bad enough, considering, again, for those who don't know, Hassan Piker has deep and abiding relationships, not just with candidates like Abdul El Sayed over in Michigan.
00:12:13.000 But also with people like Ezra Klein, a supposed moderate Democrat on the New York Times editorial board.
00:12:19.000 He is somebody who's rallying with major Democrats across the country.
00:12:22.000 He has a relationship with Zar Mamdani.
00:12:26.000 This would be the equivalent of if Karl Rove, during the Bush administration, had been actively working with the communist government of Cuba or the communist government of China.
00:12:37.000 That is what we are talking about right now.
00:12:40.000 Pretty astonishing stuff.
00:12:41.000 But again, it's not just a Sun Piker.
00:12:43.000 The entire Democratic Party is moving.
00:12:45.000 Quickly toward embrace of people who legitimately aid enemies of the United States.
00:12:52.000 You want to talk about an undercover story along these lines?
00:12:54.000 There's a person named Adam Hamawi.
00:12:57.000 Adam Hamawi is currently in a race in New Jersey to succeed a retiring Democrat named Bonnie Watson Coleman in Congress.
00:13:07.000 The Jewish Insider is reporting, and no one else is, that apparently he has a long standing past relationship with terrorist mastermind Sheikh Omar Abdel Rahman.
00:13:17.000 According to the Jewish Insider, their relationship spanned a 1991 road trip the two took together to Detroit.
00:13:22.000 Hamawi's service as the Sheikh's translator for a press conference, in which Abdul Rahman denied any rule in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, and Hamawi's testimony on the Sheikh's behalf at his 1995 trial, where the Islamist leader was convicted of plotting to carry out a campaign of terrorist attacks in New York City.
00:13:39.000 But it goes further than this.
00:13:41.000 Back during that period, the now congressional candidate, Went with a different group to Bosnia.
00:13:48.000 He went with a group subsequently shut down for providing logistical support to Al Qaeda.
00:13:53.000 Hamawi, by the way, is endorsed by, wait for it, Bernie Sanders, Ro Khanna of California, Ilhan Omar, herself a terrorist sympathizer, Alexander Ocasio Cortez, who of course is a soft terrorist sympathizer as well, and Rashid Talib, a not soft terrorist sympathizer.
00:14:06.000 They've all endorsed him in his New Jersey congressional bid.
00:14:10.000 Apparently, he had a relationship with a group called Benevolence International.
00:14:15.000 So, what exactly is Benevolence International?
00:14:19.000 Apparently, Benevolence International was a group active in Bosnia that was acting as a sort of Al Qaeda cutout.
00:14:29.000 I mean, these are the people that are getting run for Congress by the Democrats at this point.
00:14:34.000 This is insane.
00:14:35.000 It's totally crazy.
00:14:37.000 This is why I know the Republicans don't have great approval ratings right now.
00:14:41.000 I know that a lot of people are upset with them for not passing the Save Act.
00:14:44.000 A lot of people are upset with Republicans because they want the war in Iran to come to a faster end or because they don't like the inflation rates.
00:14:50.000 Understand, the Democratic Party is moving toward a full scale embrace of people who make common cause with the Chinese Communist Party, the Cuban government, and actual terrorists, Islamic terrorists in the Middle East.
00:15:03.000 You know how much you have to hate America to truly believe that? 0.86
00:15:03.000 That's crazy. 0.86
00:15:06.000 And unfortunately, if that's sort of the bleeding edge of the radicalism, if that's the bleeding edge, then the softer version of that infuses the Democratic Party ideology.
00:15:17.000 That's the only explanation I can give for this insane tweet from the Democratic Party that was put out on Memorial Day.
00:15:26.000 They put up pictures of the soldiers who are KIA in the current conflict with Iran.
00:15:32.000 And they said, Americans who have died in Trump's war with Iran.
00:15:36.000 Today, we honor the American heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice in Trump's war with Iran.
00:15:40.000 Again, the idea here is, realistically speaking, what they are trying to do, they need to take this down because it's obvious what they're trying to do.
00:15:45.000 They're trying to say that these men and women died in vain.
00:15:48.000 That's what they're trying to do on Memorial Day because that's how much they hate Trump.
00:15:52.000 That's how much they despise Trump.
00:15:56.000 By the way, it is amazing.
00:15:57.000 Democratic priorities.
00:15:58.000 Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Fry, who, of course, is a horrific mayor, he actually put out a tweet honoring George Floyd two and a half hours before honoring fallen American soldiers on Memorial Day.
00:16:10.000 Quote Today we remember George Floyd, who was murdered by a former Minneapolis police officer six years ago.
00:16:15.000 That moment changed our city forever.
00:16:18.000 And then he goes on to talk about the magic of the aftermath of George Floyd.
00:16:24.000 He ignores the gigantic riots that happened in Minneapolis.
00:16:27.000 Of course.
00:16:28.000 And of course, when it comes to the actual criminal case, he is not telling the truth.
00:16:32.000 I mean, we have extensively covered the actual findings from the autopsy of George Floyd and the supposed guilt of Derek Chauvin, the police officer in that case, who I believe is railroaded.
00:16:44.000 But the fact that no matter what you believe, that somehow gets posted before anything with regard to the soldiers on Memorial Day is pretty insane.
00:16:54.000 And of course, Governor Tim Walz did the same thing.
00:16:57.000 He showed up.
00:16:58.000 At George Floyd Square in South Minneapolis on Memorial Day.
00:17:07.000 There he is dancing at George Floyd Square, this giant weirdo.
00:17:10.000 All righty, thank you.
00:17:11.000 I appreciate it.
00:17:15.000 What a way to spend Memorial Day.
00:17:18.000 Honoring our fallen heroes by going to George Floyd Square in Minneapolis, where, again, that is in honor of a man who died of a pre existing medical condition and heavy drug use.
00:17:36.000 That's where you're choosing to spend your day.
00:17:39.000 Democrats are doing this all over the country, by the way.
00:17:41.000 Another Democrat, Mikey Sherrill, in New Jersey, spent Memorial Day joining an anti ICE protest.
00:17:48.000 According to the Daily Wire, she demanded access to the Delaney Hall detention facility in Newark on Monday.
00:17:53.000 Her request to inspect the facility was formally denied, she said, adding it raised serious questions about what they are trying to hide from public view.
00:18:00.000 Now, a bunch of other Democrats have already toured the facility over the weekend.
00:18:04.000 So that's how she spent her weekend. 1.00
00:18:07.000 And then protesters built a wall to try to block the detention center exit.
00:18:14.000 And also, the protesters then decided that it would be worthwhile to call a Fox News reporter a Nazi B word. 0.66
00:18:21.000 So, you know, people using their Memorial Day productively.
00:18:25.000 So, just for people that want to know what it's like to cover these protests, it's constant with this.
00:18:29.000 This is what these people do.
00:18:30.000 They want people who are in this country illegally to be released out onto the streets.
00:18:35.000 DHS says that's what they're going to not be doing. 0.53
00:18:39.000 Nazi, that's what you are. 0.98
00:18:41.000 Okay, just delightful, delightful people. 0.91
00:18:43.000 And these are the people to whom the Democratic Party is now catering.
00:18:47.000 Now, the DHS, the Department of Homeland Security, is pointing out that claims about Delaney Hall.
00:18:52.000 About abuse of inmates and people who are being held, detainees, that those are exaggerated or not true.
00:18:57.000 Quote The facts are all detainees are provided three meals a day, clean water, clothing, bedding, showers, soap, and toiletries.
00:19:02.000 Illegal aliens also have access to phones to communicate with their family members and lawyers.
00:19:06.000 Certified dietitians evaluate meals.
00:19:08.000 In fact, ICE has higher detention standards than most U.S. prisons that hold actual American citizens.
00:19:14.000 And some of the detainees that are being held, according to DHS, you know, again, these are the detainees that Democrats are deeply worried about, include illegal immigrants from El Salvador, Jamaica, Mexico, Peru, Portugal, Spain, the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Colombia, Honduras, for crimes ranging from homicide to drug trafficking to sex crimes against children.
00:19:33.000 But that's how many Democrats were spending their Memorial Day.
00:19:36.000 Now, again, is all of this going to redound to Democrats' benefit?
00:19:39.000 Already coming up, Democrats know why they lost in 2024.
00:19:43.000 They just are going to ignore that and try to go hard to the left.
00:19:46.000 I'll explain what I mean in a second.
00:19:47.000 First, the week after Memorial Day, also known as the week, everybody realizes they might have bought 12 things they didn't need because a website slapped the word sale in a red font next to a countdown clock.
00:19:56.000 Trust me.
00:19:57.000 The checkout process is not always that simple, but every once in a while, online shopping actually works the way it is supposed to.
00:20:03.000 One of the few genuinely useful things in e commerce right now is that purple shop pay button from Shopify.
00:20:08.000 Because everybody has had this experience.
00:20:09.000 You're checking out online, your wallet is nowhere near you, you forgot your password, your phone is asking for a verification code sent to an email account you made in 2014, and then suddenly you see the purple button.
00:20:18.000 One tap, done.
00:20:19.000 That's Shopify.
00:20:21.000 Shopify powers millions of businesses around the world and handles 10% of all e commerce in the United States.
00:20:25.000 And the reason so many businesses use it. Is because Shopify actually makes selling online easier.
00:20:30.000 They have AI tools to help businesses write product descriptions and improve product photos.
00:20:34.000 They help merchants run email and social campaigns, inventory, payments, analytic shipping.
00:20:38.000 It's all in one place.
00:20:39.000 And that iconic purple Shop Pay button helps businesses convert more sales with fewer abandoned cards.
00:20:43.000 See less carts go abandoned and more sales go with Shopify and their Shop Pay button.

00:20:58.000 So the DNC over the weekend.
00:21:00.000 They tried to bury it, but it's gotten a little bit of coverage.
00:21:03.000 They put out an autopsy for 2024 why they think they lost.
00:21:08.000 And it's pretty fascinating.
00:21:08.000 They were trying to apologize to the whole autopsy.
00:21:11.000 They kept saying that the entire autopsy was the views of the author, right?
00:21:16.000 And that the DNC can't independently verify the claims presented.
00:21:19.000 Why are they saying that?
00:21:20.000 The reason they're saying that is because the conclusions are we should stop being crazy.
00:21:24.000 And they understand that it's an unpopular view inside the Democratic Party to stop being crazy.
00:21:31.000 And according to the DNC autopsy, they full on admit that Bidenomics failed, that the Democratic Party, quote, emphasized macro statistics rather than the micro realities voters expect.
00:21:42.000 Experienced daily and specifically tied President Biden by name to actual economic anxiety.
00:21:48.000 They also admitted that their focus on social issues over economic issues alienated socially conservative voters who prioritized kitchen table concerns.
00:21:57.000 The autopsy also noted that they should not have assumed, Democrats should not have assumed, that identity politics will hold male voters of color. 0.90
00:22:06.000 So the autopsy is not wrong. 0.98
00:22:08.000 But are Democrats going to pay attention?
00:22:09.000 Of course not.
00:22:10.000 Of course not.
00:22:11.000 They're just going to steer to the left.
00:22:12.000 They're going to follow the line of, say, Chris Van Hollen. 1.00
00:22:16.000 One of the dumbest members of the United States Senate. 0.98
00:22:19.000 Chris Van Hollen is, of course, the United States Senator from Maryland. 0.99
00:22:24.000 Most familiar from taking pictures with people accused of domestic abuse, like Kilmar Abrego Garcia.
00:22:30.000 Remember, he flew all the way down to El Salvador to take a picture with him.
00:22:33.000 Well, now he's writing op eds for the New York Times saying that what Democrats really need to do is focus on Israel more and yell at Israel more and treat Israel as the great villain in the Israeli Palestinian conflict.
00:22:46.000 Ignoring the fact that what kicked off the latest round of the Israeli Palestinian conflict was the greatest massacre of Jews since the Holocaust.
00:22:53.000 He wrote an entire piece in the New York Times saying Democrats need to face a hard truth.
00:22:58.000 While Republicans' approach to the Israeli Palestinian conflict has failed, so has ours.
00:23:02.000 The Democratic Party has provided reflexive and unconditional support to Israeli governments, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.
00:23:07.000 And so he calls for withdrawing all taxpayer support from Israel and conditioning all arms sales.
00:23:12.000 Again, Democrats are going to steer more toward this, which is why, presumably, AOC is now taking more steps toward a presidential run.
00:23:20.000 She believes the momentum is in her corner, and she's not wrong.
00:23:22.000 I've been saying for a long time, I think she's an underrated Democratic presidential candidate because she can raise money like nobody's business, and Bernie's going to get behind her.
00:23:31.000 According to Axios, Democratic operatives expect that AOC would easily raise $100 million just from small dollar donors, mobilize many supporters of Bernie Sanders' past campaigns, and command attention as few other candidates could now.
00:23:44.000 Does that mean she'll win the nomination?
00:23:46.000 Not necessarily, but clearly the momentum is with the far left inside the Democratic Party.
00:23:51.000 Zorhan Mamdani is still being championed as a mainstream Democrat by every major Democrat.
00:23:56.000 Here he was over the weekend, claiming that it was time to basically steal private property and redistribute it.
00:24:05.000 Through our new citywide campaign, Fix the City, we will focus on the worst landlords in New York City.
00:24:15.000 When necessary, we will take aggressive legal action to remove negligent owners and property managers.
00:24:24.000 And for buildings that have suffered. Chronic neglect, we will work to transfer ownership to responsible stewards.
00:24:36.000 Stewards that include community land trusts, nonprofits, nonprofits, or even the tenants themselves.
00:24:48.000 So, what is he actually talking about here?
00:24:49.000 Basically, you use rent control to destroy any incentive for people to take care of their apartments because rent controlled apartments, by necessity, mean that you are charging a lower rent.
00:25:00.000 Than probably the cost of maintaining the apartment.
00:25:02.000 So that drives down the conditions.
00:25:03.000 Then you step in when the conditions of the apartment are bad, and then you seize the apartment in the name of the people and you hand it over to a cooperative land trust run probably by some of your political buddies.
00:25:15.000 That is the goal.
00:25:16.000 The goal is not to build more housing.
00:25:17.000 The goal is not to make rent more affordable.
00:25:19.000 The goal is not even to make rent more livable.
00:25:22.000 The goal is to steal property from some people and just hand it out to your buddies.
00:25:25.000 That's all it is.
00:25:28.000 The Daily Wire's Brekha Stole reports on this.
00:25:32.000 She says Mamdani did not detail how the city would legally seize or transfer ownership of privately held properties.
00:25:37.000 One possible mechanism is New York City's controversial third party transfer program, which allows the city to foreclose on distressed buildings whose owners owed back property taxes or water charges and had accumulated significant housing code violations before transferring them to nonprofit housing groups or tenant organizations.
00:25:53.000 By the way, nonprofit housing groups typically face significant problems in maintaining the property themselves.
00:26:00.000 This has been a repeat significant problem with nonprofits.
00:26:03.000 Because it turns out when there's no profit motive, then why does the nonprofit have any interest in maintaining the property?
00:26:03.000 Why?
00:26:10.000 Under the program, those landlords could face foreclosure proceedings and then the ownership could just be transferred.
00:26:18.000 It was actually paused, this program, in 2019, and now they want to restart it.
00:26:22.000 But don't worry, Mom Dhani has more things to say.
00:26:25.000 He says that it's time to target Amazon.
00:26:29.000 It's time to go after Amazon.
00:26:30.000 Quote, Amazon is worth $2 trillion, but it didn't deign to pay the millions of dollars it racked up in unpaid fines as its trucks illegally polluted our air and forced New Yorkers to breathe in their exhaust.
00:26:39.000 We collected every dollar they owe the people of the city.
00:26:41.000 And will continue to hold them accountable.
00:26:43.000 In New York, corporations are held to the same standard as everyone else.
00:26:46.000 No company, no matter how large or powerful, is above the law.
00:26:49.000 Now, realistically speaking, you want to throw Amazon out of your city?
00:26:52.000 This is a great way to do it.
00:26:54.000 To target the Amazon drivers, who, by the way, that's a large swath of employment in places like New York City.
00:27:01.000 But the good news is that at least he can pose as a man of the people, a man who can't bench press 135 twice, has thoughts on basketball.
00:27:12.000 How do you feel about the Knicks?
00:27:13.000 I'm feeling incredible about the Knicks.
00:27:15.000 Game two.
00:27:16.000 Did you watch game one?
00:27:16.000 Tonight.
00:27:16.000 Game two was fun.
00:27:19.000 I did watch game one.
00:27:19.000 I also have to give a shout out to my friend Nicholas Sharma because the only reason I could watch game one was because he had YouTube TV and he gave me his login.
00:27:26.000 I have someone's YouTube TV too.
00:27:28.000 Let's go.
00:27:30.000 So that's a lot of people ask what's democratic socialism?
00:27:35.000 Sharing YouTube TV with your boys.
00:27:36.000 Exactly.
00:27:37.000 That's also a little bit of an example of that.
00:27:39.000 We're all living the same life.
00:27:40.000 Come on.
00:27:41.000 Democratic socialism, where you defraud companies by sharing your password.
00:27:45.000 And there won't be any consequences to that in increased fees from the companies.
00:27:49.000 There will be the beautiful thing about socialism, it's the theory you can steal other people's money and intellectual property with no externalities.
00:27:55.000 But don't worry, it's not just Zoran Momdani.
00:27:58.000 And of course, it's not just AOC, it's also Graham Plattner, you know, the dude with the Nazi tattoo. 0.70
00:28:05.000 And now you have this weirdo with a far older weirdo.
00:28:09.000 This is like a Muppet show over here of some sort.
00:28:15.000 They're like Stadler and Hofstadter over here.
00:28:18.000 Like, look at these guys.
00:28:20.000 You got Bernie, who is withering into a raisin.
00:28:24.000 And you have Graham Plattner, who looks like if Fozzie Bear somehow transformed into a deeply disturbed former member of the military.
00:28:36.000 All righty, here we go.
00:28:41.000 There's absolutely no question that if we target the wealth where it has been hoarded, frankly, for decades at this point, and we pull it back into our system and put it into social programs like health care, like child care, like Paying teachers what they are worth, we will absolutely improve the lives of working Americans and, quite frankly, improve our society as a whole.
00:29:01.000 I think that I'm going to listen to this schmucko on how to redistribute wealth. 0.92
00:29:06.000 Probably I'll listen to the guy who thought it was a great idea to get a Totenkopf tattoo and also to rant online about how much he loved tie hookers and also how much he liked to pleasure himself in porta potties. 0.97
00:29:21.000 I will listen to him on economic redistributionism.
00:29:25.000 But here he was campaigning.
00:29:27.000 And again, this guy has the support of every major Democrat.
00:29:31.000 I believe that in our country, the voices of working people are far more important than the voices of those who simply have money. 0.65
00:29:41.000 I believe that we should not be settling for scraps that they throw to us from the table where they dine with the Epstein class. 0.68
00:29:49.000 By the way, this dude grew up rich.
00:29:53.000 This dude grew up rich.
00:29:55.000 All the cosplaying of poverty from these people, as though it's a virtue in some way.
00:30:00.000 He also, by the way, over the weekend, dodged an apology when he was confronted over a deleted Reddit post.
00:30:04.000 In that Reddit post, He had said a Purple Heart recipient, quote, didn't deserve to live.
00:30:08.000 Here he was dodging the apology.
00:30:11.000 I was wondering if you regret the post about the Purple Heart veteran.
00:30:18.000 If you think you need to apologize to him.
00:30:23.000 What you would say to voters who might be upset by it.
00:30:27.000 I did four tours of the infantry.
00:30:29.000 Any attempt to say that I disrespect veterans is slanderous and offensive.
00:30:35.000 Do you think you owe him an apology?
00:30:37.000 I. Do you know how many of my friends have Purple Hearts?
00:30:37.000 I do.
00:30:41.000 Do you know how many of my friends got wounded?
00:30:43.000 I'm sure a lot.
00:30:43.000 Yeah, a lot of them.
00:30:45.000 Thank you.
00:30:45.000 Thank you.
00:30:46.000 I noticed that you didn't actually apologize to the dude you said didn't deserve to live after there was a video of him being shot.
00:30:53.000 Private First Class Ted Daniels, who again was the person who captured viral helmet footage of himself moving into open terrain to draw Taliban fire from his squad in 2012, said that Democrats backing Platner are the ones who own apology.
00:31:05.000 Quote, what I'd really like is for Elizabeth Warren, Chuck Schumer, Bernie Sanders, Hakeem Jeffries, and everybody else on the far left to tell my children to their face.
00:31:12.000 They're endorsing and supporting a man who said their father should not have lived, cheering on the death of their father. 0.84
00:31:17.000 Well, the good news is that they've got the ultimate anti American, useless leech on the ass of society, Bernie Sanders, out campaigning for him. 0.98
00:31:26.000 You get to watch the full on Ribbentrop Molotov pact happen in real time. 0.99
00:31:26.000 It's great. 0.99
00:31:30.000 The communists and the Nazis together. 0.80
00:31:33.000 Again, Bernie Sanders tweeting out a photo of himself standing next to a road sign on our way to Bangor, Maine for a rally with Graham Platner.
00:31:41.000 We need candidates like Graham who'll take on the greed of the oligarchs and deliver for working families.
00:31:44.000 Again, one of my favorite things about claiming. 0.89
00:31:47.000 An oligarchy traditionally is a small cadre of people who are very rich controlling the government.
00:31:54.000 That speaks much more to the Democratic Party, which wishes to control your life top down with a very small group of people, than it does to the laissez faire economic system promoted typically by conservatives.
00:32:08.000 Graham Platner, man.
00:32:09.000 By the way, I think he's going to lose the Senate seat. 0.61
00:32:11.000 I think that Susan Collins will win the Senate seat because Democrats decided to be insane.
00:32:17.000 But socialism is so hot right now.
00:32:19.000 It's so hot.
00:32:20.000 It is so fetch right now.
00:32:22.000 Are you coming up?
00:32:23.000 Bruce Springsteen, overrated artist, also a terrible political commentator, and Democrats wrecking California and Seattle and kind of everywhere else they touch.
00:32:30.000 Well, it gets all of it.
00:32:31.000 First, being a responsible adult is not for the week.
00:32:34.000 And if you're not organized, things can get pretty messy.
00:32:36.000 There are school calendars, activities, travel plans, appointments, events, reminders, grocery lists, 50 unread text threads, hundreds of unanswered emails.
00:32:43.000 The point is, life is complicated enough already, which is why it's refreshing when some things actually become more simple.
00:32:48.000 That's one reason businesses use ZipRecruiter.
00:32:51.000 ZipRecruiter's matching technology helps connect businesses with qualified candidates quickly instead of forcing people to manually sort through stacks of random applications.
00:32:58.000 The platform analyzes skills, experience, location, and role requirements to help surface people who are actually relevant for the position.
00:33:05.000 One feature that's especially useful is the screening questions because they help narrow the field early and save everybody time.

00:33:14.000 That makes the hiring process much more efficient from the start.

00:33:19.000 ZipRecruiter is designed to streamline the process instead of complicating it.

00:33:42.000 You know, when it pops up in your car and you know immediately you're going to be spending hundreds of dollars immediately, it's automatic anxiety.
00:33:48.000 Modern vehicles are incredible right up until literally anything breaks, which is why companies like CarShield exist.
00:33:53.000 CarShield helps protect drivers from expensive out of pocket repair costs.
00:33:57.000 With vehicle protection plans designed to make breakdowns less financially painful.

00:34:15.000 The plans are month to month, low deductibles designed to help reduce stress during expensive repair situations.
00:34:20.000 And honestly, that piece of mine matters because most people rely on their cars constantly.

00:34:59.000 Bruce Springsteen.
00:35:01.000 Showed up to his Boston concert with a teleprompter.
00:35:05.000 By the way, personal opinion Bruce Springsteen, one of the most overrated artists of the last century, wildly overrated. 0.94
00:35:15.000 Frankly, I think he kind of sucks, but put that aside, here was his.
00:35:19.000 If you'd like a Bruce Springsteen, if you'd like a lecture from an octogenarian who hasn't written a good song in several decades, well, you came to the right place. 0.98
00:35:30.000 The richest men in America have abandoned the world's poorest children to death and disease through the dismantling of USAID.
00:35:42.000 This is no longer on the front page, but children die every day and this is happening now.
00:35:52.000 We are undermining NATO and the world order that kept us safe and at global peace for 80 years.
00:36:01.000 Our museums are being told to whitewash American history of any unpleasant or inconvenient facts, like the full history of the brutality of slavery.
00:36:13.000 You want to talk about snowflakes?
00:36:14.000 We have a president who can't handle the truth. 0.99
00:36:18.000 Again, you want to talk about a group of very, very wealthy people who are preaching a bunch of crap about controlling your life? 0.99
00:36:25.000 That would be the Democrats. 0.95
00:36:27.000 What they call the Epstein class, every accusation is an admission for these folks.
00:36:32.000 Bruce Springsteen, by the way, is worth $1.2 billion.
00:36:33.000 You know, here's Daily Show host and comedian Josh Johnson on healthcare saying that you shouldn't have to earn the right to live.
00:36:40.000 You have a right to live free of other people trying to kill you, but healthcare is a service that is provided to you.
00:36:48.000 And so, is the idea that what we should chain up doctors?
00:36:52.000 Whenever people say something is a right, you should ask what kind of right.
00:36:55.000 There are many different types of right.
00:36:58.000 There is a right to be free of the interference of others, there is a so called right to the services of others.
00:37:08.000 The right to services of others is not a right, that is a demand, that is a requirement.
00:37:11.000 They have a duty to you.
00:37:13.000 And we should recognize the difference between the two because otherwise, rights are just a mush word.
00:37:20.000 There has been a co opting of nonviolence into the point of almost being a psyop.
00:37:26.000 Eventually, you can see down the road what might happen.
00:37:30.000 And if you take away all of people's political power or even the idea that they have political power, and you also take away their ability to feed their family, and you can only take away so much from a person before they have no options left other than to, you know, like scream in the street, i.e., like sort of riot.
00:37:46.000 Or something like that, or before they pinpoint certain individuals that they see as the perpetrators of all these crimes against making a way of life.
00:37:58.000 You shouldn't have to earn the right to live.
00:38:00.000 Okay, so again, what he's actually doing is creating a permission structure for violence.
00:38:03.000 This is the future of the left.
00:38:05.000 It is the future of the Democratic Party.
00:38:07.000 It's the current of the left.
00:38:08.000 It is the future of the Democratic Party.
00:38:11.000 And it is full scale inside the Democratic Party at this point.
00:38:15.000 Senator Chris Murphy, who again, for some benighted reason of Connecticut, he somehow thinks.
00:38:19.000 That he is going to run for president?
00:38:21.000 He says that the people screwing you are big tech and Walmart.
00:38:25.000 Big tech and Walmart.
00:38:27.000 So, you know, the services that you use, not the government taking away your money, not the government regulating you out of existence.
00:38:32.000 Walmart.
00:38:36.000 You know, he tells a story, right, about who's screwing you. 0.86
00:38:40.000 And it's a false story, right? 0.99
00:38:43.000 He talks about immigrants and Muslims and gay kids.
00:38:47.000 But there is a story, a true story, about. 0.99
00:38:50.000 Who is screwing the American people? 0.92
00:38:52.000 Yeah. 1.00
00:38:53.000 And it's these technology companies that don't care about your kids, right?
00:38:53.000 Right?
00:38:57.000 It's these massive corporations like Walmart that are emptying out good jobs from our communities, replacing them with part time workers. 0.75
00:39:05.000 That's the Supreme Court.
00:39:06.000 So let's tell a story. 0.52
00:39:07.000 Let's tell a true story about why you're getting screwed and who's doing this. 0.92
00:39:12.000 You're getting screwed by Walmart. 0.98
00:39:13.000 Walmart is screwing you. 1.00
00:39:14.000 Not Chris Murphy, again, a completely useless twerp who's earning a government salary by trying to steal other people's money and regulate things under the ground. 0.99
00:39:25.000 Walmart, where you shop for your kids, they're the ones who are screwing you. 0.99
00:39:29.000 Now, all of this ends with governance. 0.84
00:39:31.000 If the left gains control, then they govern horribly.
00:39:34.000 So, to take an example, Seattle's socialist mayor, a woman named Katie Wilson, you'll remember that we played a clip on the show recently of her responding to talk of Starbucks leaving the state.
00:39:46.000 She had urged residents to boycott Starbucks because they were moving $100 million into Tennessee and putting thousands of new jobs there.
00:39:56.000 She said, Bye and giggle in response to the Starbucks leaving the state.
00:40:01.000 She said, Bye.
00:40:03.000 Well, now she's walking that back. 0.58
00:40:06.000 She said her comments caused more harm than good. 1.00
00:40:07.000 Yeah, it turns out that you alienating business is a very, very stupid idea. 1.00
00:40:13.000 Same thing in California. 0.98
00:40:16.000 So in California, Gavin Newsom is trying to blame the Iran war and Chevron for high gas prices.
00:40:22.000 He put out a tweet over the weekend.
00:40:24.000 Californians, if you're hitting the road this holiday weekend, be sure to avoid Chevron.
00:40:28.000 Pro tip unbranded gas comes from the same refineries, storage tanks, and pipelines, and it meets the same state standards to keep your engine running clean, even if it doesn't have a fancy name like Techron.
00:40:36.000 Big oil is already making billions off Trump's Iran war.
00:40:39.000 Don't let them rip you off even more by overpaying for the brand name.
00:40:43.000 Well, Chevron responded by pointing out that the high gas prices are because of Gavin Newsom.
00:40:50.000 That is why Gavin Newsom is ripping on Chevron.
00:40:54.000 That's the real reason.
00:40:56.000 Because he keeps blaming Chevron for the high gas prices.
00:40:59.000 You want to know why there are high gas prices in California?
00:41:02.000 The reason is because the regulations and taxes on gas in California are insane.
00:41:07.000 Gas prices have gone up everywhere.
00:41:09.000 I'm down in Florida.
00:41:11.000 And down in Florida, the gas prices are around five bucks a gallon, a little north of five a gallon.
00:41:16.000 That's expensive.
00:41:17.000 In California, it's seven, eight bucks a gallon minimum.
00:41:20.000 That is not because it's more expensive to ship oil and gas to California, which, by the way, is one of the most oil rich regions on planet Earth.
00:41:29.000 But Democrat governance, they can make paradise into hell, which is the point that Spencer Pratt, running for Los Angeles mayor, is making.
00:41:39.000 He says the tax money is here.
00:41:41.000 We have enough money to do things.
00:41:42.000 It's just that it's being used for a bunch of nonsense.
00:41:44.000 This is why Spencer Pratt is gaining fast in the LA mayoral race.
00:41:50.000 The number one question that everybody has for me when they hear my plan is how can we do that, Spencer?
00:41:56.000 We don't have the money.
00:41:58.000 Let me clue you in on a little secret.
00:42:00.000 We have the money, it's just being stolen.
00:42:03.000 You pay countless tax dollars.
00:42:05.000 You're taxed on your income, you're taxed on your gas, you're taxed on your property, you're taxed out the every single expensive transaction you endure is taxed.
00:42:14.000 Yes, hundreds of restaurants have shut their doors thanks to Karen Bass and Nithya Raman.
00:42:19.000 Businesses are fleeing their terrible leadership.
00:42:22.000 So revenue is decreasing.
00:42:24.000 And I will turn that around.
00:42:25.000 But we have plenty of money in this city.
00:42:27.000 It's just being stolen.
00:42:29.000 Again, he is right about this.
00:42:30.000 Spencer Pratt is running a very, very strong campaign in LA for a reason.
00:42:34.000 But don't worry, it's not just the left that has embraced this anti American, anti private property, anti free markets nonsense.
00:42:40.000 Tucker Carlson says people should stop paying their credit cards, sounding exactly like a Bernie Sanders or Graham Pladner or an AOC.
00:42:46.000 One of my favorite things about Tucker is when he claims that he loves capitalism while saying how much he hates capitalism.
00:42:51.000 It's really delightful.
00:42:54.000 You know, if you're in debt to anybody, you're literally in debt to them.
00:42:58.000 You owe them something you haven't yet paid.
00:43:00.000 So that is, by definition, their control over you, right?
00:43:07.000 Yeah, they have control over you and they can take your assets if you don't pay them.
00:43:11.000 So, yeah, yeah, I totally understand it.
00:43:13.000 And it's a risky, depending on the type of person, some people are more.
00:43:20.000 Risk taking when they don't have the funds.
00:43:22.000 They, you know, I don't believe you should be taking out loans that you can't afford.
00:43:26.000 Yeah.
00:43:27.000 It's, you know, people saying don't spend money you don't have.
00:43:29.000 It's something most people are aware of, but some people don't practice that.
00:43:33.000 Yeah.
00:43:34.000 I used to feel that way.
00:43:35.000 Now I'm kind of like, I don't know.
00:43:38.000 I think people should stop paying their credit cards.
00:43:39.000 I know no one else agrees with me.
00:43:41.000 And oh, you have a moral obligation.
00:43:42.000 Really?
00:43:43.000 Well, you have a moral obligation not to send credit card applications to kids in college.
00:43:46.000 So this goes both ways.
00:43:48.000 It's like just blaming the drug addict and never mentioning the dealer.
00:43:50.000 Someone's selling the fentanyl and that person is on the hook too.
00:43:55.000 You have a moral obligation not to send a credit card application to a 19 year old in college.
00:44:00.000 Why?
00:44:01.000 Because they might take out a credit card.
00:44:04.000 I mean, they don't have to take out a credit card.
00:44:06.000 And it turns out that the vast majority of us use credit cards all the time.
00:44:12.000 But understand the hatred for private property, the hatred for the free market system, the hatred for the things that make America great in the first place is extraordinarily strong.
00:44:20.000 It is very, very, very strong.
00:44:21.000 It exists on the far left, and again, it exists on that woke right as well.
00:44:26.000 Meanwhile, on the Republican side of the aisle, we've talked a lot about sort of the nuttiness of the Democrats.
00:44:26.000 All right.
00:44:30.000 Republicans are running a relatively moderate risk in the state of Texas.
00:44:35.000 Republicans last night voted for Ken Paxton over four term Senator John Cornyn in Texas.
00:44:42.000 Paxton is the Texas Attorney General.
00:44:43.000 Now, Cornyn has alienated over the years many, many people in Texas for his left wing stance or liberal stance on gun policy, for example.
00:44:52.000 There's been enormous dyspepsia in the state of Texas with the idea that Cornyn was too friendly with Democrats.
00:44:58.000 And so he was already losing to Paxton in that race.
00:45:01.000 And then very late breaking, right near the end of the race, President Trump endorsed Paxton over Cornyn.
00:45:07.000 And then last night, Paxton basically skunked Cornyn, which is no shock at all.
00:45:12.000 The president put out a statement congratulating Paxton.
00:45:16.000 Say congratulations to Ken Paxton on such a tremendous win and to John Cornyn for having run a strong and powerful race, but more importantly, having had a truly great career.
00:45:23.000 John will remain my friend for a long time to come as we both watch Ken become a fantastic, common sense senator, one who is respected by all.
00:45:30.000 His opponent, Alfred E. Newman, that's a reference to James Tallarico, may be the worst Texas candidate I have ever seen.
00:45:35.000 A strong open borders advocate, he is weak on crime, believes that our six genders is insulting to Jesus Christ, will never support the military.
00:45:41.000 Was a big mask wearer until recently, and is a vegan who dislikes meat.
00:45:44.000 Not exactly a good way to be if you're wanting to win an election in Texas.
00:45:49.000 So, those critiques of Tallerico are, of course, right.
00:45:52.000 Tallerico, on the other hand, was eager to face off against Paxton, more eager to face off against Paxton than Cornyn because he believes that there is some fertile ground to be tilled with regard to past allegations of corruption surrounding Paxton.
00:46:06.000 Something just happened in Texas.
00:46:09.000 The most corrupt politician in America.
00:46:12.000 Just became the Republican nominee for the United States Senate.
00:46:16.000 Three years ago, Ken Paxton was impeached by his own party for using his public office to enrich himself and his donors at the expense of the people.
00:46:28.000 That kind of corruption is the rot at the core of this broken system.
00:46:34.000 It's why we can't afford anything.
00:46:36.000 It's why we can't get ahead no matter how hard we work.
00:46:40.000 Now, I will say that I think that a lot of Republicans are nervous that Paxton's going to lose to Tallarica.
00:46:44.000 I think this is highly unlikely.
00:46:46.000 Texas is a very, very red state.
00:46:48.000 Tallarico is totally alien to sort of Texan sensibilities.
00:46:52.000 This is a point that Ken Paxton was making.
00:46:54.000 Here he was, after his win, going after James Tallarico.
00:46:59.000 And finally, he's a threat to our very way of life and our values.
00:47:03.000 I mean, he's a vegan who thinks God is non binary and that there's actually six biological sexes.
00:47:09.000 It's hard to imagine someone more radical than that.
00:47:13.000 He is not wrong about all of that, even. 0.98
00:47:16.000 Nia Malika Henderson on CNN says Tallarico's pretty vulnerable with Christian voters in Texas. 1.00
00:47:22.000 This is the race they're going to run against him.
00:47:24.000 It's going to be a total culture war race. 1.00
00:47:27.000 They're going to use that to sort of blunt Elaine.
00:47:30.000 He thinks he has carved out around his Christian faith and his interpretation of Christianity. 0.99
00:47:37.000 I think it's going to be effective.
00:47:39.000 You know, I guess one of his statements was something like it's not clear if Jesus or God was a man or a woman or he contains both masculine and femininity.
00:47:48.000 That's going to be a problem.
00:47:49.000 In Texas, and it's going to be a problem for a lot of Christian voters, whether you're Latino, black, or white.
00:47:57.000 They don't agree with that interpretation of the faith and of Christianity.
00:48:03.000 And so I think, you know, he's a vulnerable candidate in Texas.
00:48:07.000 Yeah, again, I think that that is true.
00:48:08.000 And it'll be fun to watch as Democrats do Lucy and the football again with regard to Tallarico and this Texas race.
00:48:15.000 Every couple of years, Democrats think this is going to be the moment when Texas turns blue.
00:48:19.000 They're likely to toss enormous amounts of money.
00:48:21.000 At the Tallarico race, specifically because they think that Paxton is weaker.
00:48:24.000 So, a lot of Republicans are upset because they figure that they might have to spend more money in Texas and that will draw money away from, say, Michigan or Maine.
00:48:32.000 But the reality is, Democrats are actually going to spend a lot of money in Texas, where they should spend zero dollars because that race is not going to be won by James Tallarico, barring some sort of cataclysmic circumstance.
00:48:41.000 In fact, Democrats are hurting themselves in 2026 in the same way that Republicans hurt themselves in 2022.
00:48:49.000 You'll recall that President Trump intervened personally to help select in primaries a bunch of very, very bad Republican candidates for the Senate.
00:48:59.000 He selected a candidate in New Hampshire, terrible candidate, a candidate in Georgia, terrible candidate, and they lost.
00:49:04.000 A candidate in Arizona who's not very good lost.
00:49:08.000 Democrats are now doing the same thing.
00:49:10.000 So, the Michigan Senate seat for Democrats, very winnable.
00:49:13.000 They're probably going to lose it because they insist on nominating El Sayed.
00:49:16.000 That main seat, Platner is a nut.
00:49:20.000 If they nominated the current governor, then they likely would have won that seat. 1.00
00:49:24.000 I think Susan Collins wins that seat.
00:49:26.000 So, Democrats had an outside shot at taking the Senate.
00:49:29.000 I would say that now, given their candidate's election, that outside shot looks like they're going to have to basically pull a royal flush at this point in order to make that happen.
00:49:37.000 All right, in other news, when it comes to Iran, a lot of talk about will a deal be made?
00:49:42.000 What will a deal look like?
00:49:44.000 All the rest.
00:49:44.000 I want to start by just talking about what a good deal would look like.
00:49:49.000 What a good deal would look like.
00:49:50.000 And again, these are red lines that the president himself has drawn.
00:49:53.000 First of all, the end of the Iranian nuclear program.
00:49:55.000 I understand there's been some mush mouth about Iran can never build nuclear weapons.
00:49:59.000 Let us be clear about this.
00:50:01.000 If Iran has the capacity to ramp up a program that results in nuclear weapons, and if President Trump is not president in two and a half years, which is the case, That is tantamount to retaining a nuclear program and a pathway toward a nuclear weapon.
00:50:13.000 This means that the United States ought to be seeking not just the release of what President Trump calls the nuclear dust, that's the highly enriched uranium that they currently have, but also their less refined nuclear materials, decommissioning of their nuclear facilities, and actual verification standards.
00:50:28.000 Second, end of support for international terrorism. 0.64
00:50:31.000 The thing that has threatened all of our allies in the region, not just Israel, but all of our Gulf allies, is the Iranian terrorist support base. 0.72
00:50:37.000 The reason for what is happening in Lebanon right now is because. 0.67
00:50:40.000 Iran has been using Lebanon as a staging ground for a Hezbollah fake state that launches terrorism against Israel on the regular.
00:50:49.000 That is the reason there's currently conflict in Lebanon. 0.82
00:50:51.000 We should be pushing for an end of support for international terrorism by Iran. 0.56
00:50:56.000 Obviously, an end to the building of ballistic missiles. 0.93
00:50:58.000 We've done tremendous damage to their capacity to build ballistic missiles.
00:51:01.000 But if there's a deal, it obviously ought to include some provisions that prevent their rebuilding of ballistic missiles, releasing of the Strait of Hormuz, because international shipping requires freedom of navigation there.
00:51:13.000 And only when all of those things happen should we start releasing funding.
00:51:15.000 Because the big mistake here would be to destroy everything that we have in terms of infrastructure and then hand them the money to just rebuild it.
00:51:23.000 So let's say the no deal gets done. 0.96
00:51:24.000 Let's say the Iranians say no to all of that, which, again, I think is highly plausible. 0.99
00:51:28.000 The alternatives would be a return to Project Freedom. 0.88
00:51:30.000 Actually, we help guide shipping through the strait again.
00:51:33.000 That's expensive, but it opens it up and it is doable. 0.91
00:51:37.000 And the quicker option and the riskier option destruction of Iran's oil facilities. 0.92
00:51:42.000 Now, I understand.
00:51:43.000 That destroying Iran's oil refineries at Karg Island, destroying the South Pira's oil field, would result in Iran then attacking oil fields in Iraq, in UAE, in Qatar, in Saudi. 0.58
00:51:55.000 The problem is that, as we have learned with the Strait of Hormuz, leaving the possibility of an offensive action in the hands of Iran does not foreclose them from using that offensive action in the future. 0.68
00:52:05.000 In other words, if they can back the United States and our Gulf allies and Israel down based on a threat to do this when they have their ballistic missile capacity reduced to maybe 20% of what it once was. 0.77
00:52:17.000 If that's enough to back us down now, what will it look like in five years when they've rebuilt all of that? 0.59
00:52:23.000 What will the threat to Saudi and UAE and Bahrain and Qatar be then?
00:52:29.000 One of the keys to making war, if you're going to do it, is you don't blow the opportunity that's in front of you when your enemy is weak.
00:52:35.000 And Iran is tremendously weakened from where they were at the beginning of this war. 0.86
00:52:38.000 Allowing them out of that box with new money or Chinese weaponry being shipped in would be a gigantic mistake.
00:52:45.000 I don't think the president's going to make that mistake.
00:52:47.000 We'll have to find out.
00:52:49.000 Now, again, there's been a lot of vacillation over an agreement, no agreement.
00:52:52.000 What does the agreement look like?
00:52:54.000 The Iranians basically saying there's no agreement on nukes, there's no agreement on ballistic missiles, there's no agreement on the Strait, which, again, are all the major terms.
00:53:05.000 Other than that, how was your evening at the theater, Mrs. Lincoln?
00:53:09.000 The big issues here are those issues the Strait of Hormuz, the nuclear weapons, the ballistic missiles, the terrorism support.
00:53:14.000 What else are you negotiating exactly?
00:53:17.000 Nonetheless, the president has been signaling optimism about the deal, but he's also been signaling that a bunch of other countries should join the Abraham Accords.
00:53:26.000 And then he says that he has options for dealing with the nuclear dust.
00:53:31.000 The Iranian government continues to put out statement after statement, basically mocking the United States.
00:53:35.000 Moshtaba Khamenei, who is the new Ayatollah, who may be legless and dickless, but is in fact apparently somewhat operational, kind of, maybe.
00:53:45.000 He put out a statement The shaky Zionist regime and the cancerous tumor of Israel are also approaching the final stages of their ill fated life.
00:53:52.000 And by the grace of God, and in accordance with the decisive and unwavering determination of the past year, the great leader, the martyr, Quds Allah, the most merciful, will not see the day 25 years after that date, God willing. 0.82
00:54:03.000 For this reason, in this year, the issue of disavowal from polytheists is doubly important. 0.91
00:54:08.000 Important. 0.85
00:54:08.000 And the depth and scope of disavowal from America and the Zionist regime goes beyond the ritual of disavowal during the Hajj season and time. 0.85
00:54:15.000 In different parts of Iran and the world, and after these blessed days, death to America and death to Israel will be the common slogan of the Islamic nation and the oppressive of the world, especially the youth. 0.93
00:54:26.000 So, is there a deal? 0.99
00:54:27.000 I mean, if there is, it is totally unclear what that deal looks like.
00:54:31.000 The Iranians have been firing at shipping again.
00:54:34.000 U.S. forces over the weekend had to conduct what they called self defense strikes in southern Iran to protect troops from threats posed by Iranian forces.
00:54:42.000 Maybe there will be some deal cut on paper, but it remains to be seen how deep that deal goes or what the actual effect of the deal is in the end.
00:54:51.000 All right, folks, the show continues in just a moment.
00:54:53.000 We'll get to these viral high school graduation celebrations.
00:54:57.000 What do they mean?
00:54:58.000 Why are we celebrating high school graduations in the way that we are, given the fact that so few Americans are actually graduating from high school being able to read?
