The Ben Shapiro Show - Israel Pulls Off MIRACLE Rescue

00:00:00.000 Unfortunately, we've had to edit out some important information because Big Tech won't let us say that sort of thing.

00:00:05.000 To listen to the full uncut show, go to dailywire.com slash subscribe.

00:00:09.000 So, on Saturday morning, the Israeli Defense Forces carried out one of the most ingenious, daring, and heroic operations in the history of modern warfare when they were able to extricate four Israeli hostages who had been held for well over 240 days by Hamas.

00:00:25.000 Those hostages were being held By civilians, by civilians in Gaza, in a place called Nusayrat, which is in the center of the Gaza Strip, not in Rafah, which is supposedly the place the Biden administration will never let the Israelis go.

00:00:37.000 Nusayrat has been a hotbed of Hamas activity for a very long time.

00:00:42.000 The operation is stunning for a variety of reasons.

00:00:45.000 The biggest reason the operation is stunning is not only because of the operation, but because of the reaction to the operation.

00:00:50.000 So I want to go through in detail what exactly happened, then I want to explain why this is actually important, not just with regard to Israel, but with regard to the future of the West.

00:00:58.000 The reaction to Israel rescuing its own citizens from the clutches of an evil terror group that is enmeshed In a civilian population. 0.69

00:01:05.000 I do not mean they're just in bed with the civilian population.

00:01:08.000 I mean the civilian population in Gaza is deeply sympathetic to and is often working with Hamas.

00:01:13.000 The reaction to that reality is quite dark and has real ramifications for the future of the Western civilization that we all actually should cherish.

00:01:22.000 So, here's what happened on Saturday according to the Wall Street Journal.

00:01:26.000 At 11.25 a.m.

00:01:27.000 local time on Saturday, the Israeli military's chief of staff, Herziya Halevi, was watching the situation from a command center of the Shin Bet Security Agency and gave the order to go.

00:01:35.000 They had, obviously, information that four Israeli hostages were being held in two separate locations in New Zealand.

00:01:41.000 Israeli teams overwhelmed the captors who were hunkered down in two apartment blocks in New Zealand.

00:01:45.000 These were located about 200 meters apart, 600 feet apart or so, in two separate locations.

00:01:49.000 According to the Wall Street Journal, in May, Israel located the female hostage, Noah Argamani, in a low-rise apartment block in Nuseirat, central Gaza, and three male hostages in another building about 200 yards away.

00:02:00.000 The hostages were Olmog Meir Yan, Andrei Kozlov, and Shlomi Zev.

00:02:05.000 You'll remember...

00:02:06.000 Noah Argomany happens to be one of the more famous hostages who has taken the footage of her being kidnapped on October 7th.

00:02:13.000 She was at the Nova Music Festival, was incredibly famous because, of course, she's a young woman who's attractive and that meant that it went viral on social media.

00:02:20.000 And then, of course, video footage shared by the military showed a CH-53C stallion helicopter loading soldiers and hostages before whisking them off the beach.

00:02:28.000 Here's what some of that footage looked like.

00:02:30.000 You can see here this is the interior of the helicopter in Noa Argamani being loaded onto the helicopter.

00:02:43.000 There's also some pretty dramatic footage of these soldiers rushing Noah Argomany, among the other hostages, to the helicopter as well.

00:02:53.000 Now, it is worth noting here who was actually holding the hostages.

00:02:57.000 So as it turns out, Noah Argomany was being held by a photojournalist, a photojournalist, you say, a photojournalist, and his doctor father, the greatest kinds of civilians, journalists and doctors and artists and painters.

00:03:13.000 We're holding these Jews hostage. 1.00

00:03:16.000 So who exactly was this photojournalist and his family?

00:03:19.000 By the way, again, you don't want your family put in the line of fire.

00:03:21.000 Excellent way to do this.

00:03:22.000 Don't hold hostages in your home.

00:03:24.000 I know, just a tip for the wise.

00:03:26.000 For those of you who wish not to have anyone in your family shot, it turns out a horrible strategy for that is to work with a terrorist group to hold hostages in your home.

00:03:35.000 I repeat, Do not put your family in the way of opposing military forces by holding hostage... I don't know why I have to say this.

00:03:42.000 I mean, I do know. 1.00

00:03:43.000 It's because everyone is a moral idiot around here. 1.00

00:03:45.000 When it comes to the international community, as we'll see, everyone is just... 1.00

00:03:50.000 Moral trash. 0.99

00:03:51.000 It's unbelievable. 0.98

00:03:53.000 So this photojournalist had worked with, wait for it, Al Jazeera, the most vaunted of all journalistic institutions.

00:04:01.000 A journalistic institution, of course, that is run out of Qatar, which is in fact an Iranian front state in many ways.

00:04:08.000 Qatar has been the place where Hamas' leadership is holed up.

00:04:11.000 Al Jazeera is a propaganda outlet on behalf of Hamas.

00:04:14.000 It is why the Israeli military barred Al Jazeera from broadcasting inside of Israel because they were trying to station cameras in areas that could catch Israeli troop movements.

00:04:23.000 And then there was widespread international condemnation.

00:04:25.000 Now it turns out that a photojournalist who had worked with Al Jazeera in the past was one of the people holding Israelis hostage.

00:04:31.000 Remember, the line between civilian and terrorist in Gaza is incredibly blurry.

00:04:36.000 Really, really blurry.

00:04:37.000 I mean, I wish it weren't that way.

00:04:38.000 That is the way it is.

00:04:40.000 That is an unfortunate reality.

00:04:41.000 We'll get some more on this in just one moment.

00:04:43.000 First, I'll be traveling for the next couple of weeks.

00:04:45.000 That means that my team and I need to be pretty careful about securing our internet connections wherever we are.

00:04:50.000 You can't trust public Wi-Fi to have any kind of security.

00:04:52.000 And depending on where you are in the world, you might even be dealing with government censorship.

00:04:55.000 That's why, when I'm on the road, I always use ExpressVPN.

00:04:59.000 ExpressVPN is a VPN provider that reroutes my internet connection to stop third parties like Wi-Fi admins and government agencies from spying on me.

00:05:05.000 Plus, ExpressVPN encrypts 100% of my traffic, which protects all my private data, like my bank logins and credit cards from Wi-Fi hackers.

00:05:44.000 This same photojournalist wrote an essay for the so-called Palestine Chronicle, which is a 501c3 organization in the United States, which has apparent terrorists working for it.

00:05:52.000 He wrote a piece back in April while the hostages were being held in his home about the suffering in Gaza, quote, homes are gone.

00:06:03.000 And with that, the memories, hopes and aspirations of Palestinians and their ability to realize other rights.

00:06:07.000 He was writing about the rights of the Palestinians while literally holding hostages in his home.

00:06:14.000 His entire piece was called, So this entire article was just about how terrible the Israelis are, while this person was holding hostage- I can't say this enough times. 0.77

00:06:29.000 When people ask that the allegations made by the Gaza Ministry of Health, which is Hamas, or by quote-unquote civilian journalists on the ground in Gaza, most of whom are working with Hamas because otherwise you can't work in Gaza, it turns out that even people who are working with the Associated Press, the Associated Press was literally for years located in the same building as the Hamas headquarters.

00:06:50.000 They knew that.

00:06:50.000 They were literally on just a different floor of the same exact building.

00:06:55.000 The distinction there, unfortunately, is blurry at best, and in many cases, non-existent at all.

00:07:02.000 The fact that this is even in question is totally insane.

00:07:04.000 Of course, this is all on Hamas. 0.88

00:07:06.000 Every death, Jewish and Palestinian, is on Hamas. 0.92

00:07:10.000 They started a war. 1.00

00:07:11.000 They got their ass kicked. 1.00

00:07:12.000 Their entire strategy was to, in fact, get their ass kicked so they could then whine to the international community that the Israelis were being too mean for them. 1.00

00:07:20.000 And then the international left would rush to their defense. 0.99

00:07:22.000 Because again, the international left has one rule and one rule only.

00:07:25.000 If you are a loser in life, that is because you are victimized by some sort of extraneous circumstance.

00:07:31.000 And the worse you are, the more it must be the Western powers that are somehow victimizing you. 0.97

00:07:37.000 I don't even know what you're talking about when you suggest that we were supposed to call off this operation because there were civilians in the area.

00:07:45.000 By the way, I wish America felt the same obligation to bring home five Americans who are still being held hostage.

00:07:52.000 Here is the Israeli spokesperson suggesting the reality, which is that countries have, you know, an obligation to their citizens to rescue them from terrorists.

00:07:59.000 Why this is even in question?

00:08:00.000 Is this, is this, honestly, is this rule unique to the Jews, or is this something the entire West is supposed to hold by now?

00:08:05.000 That if terrorists take Westerners hostage, that Westerners are supposed to throw up their hands so long as the terrorists hide amongst civilians, and in fact, side with civilians, and enmesh with civilians, and the civilians work with them.

00:08:16.000 Here is the Israeli spokesperson saying the obvious.

00:08:19.000 We need to keep in mind that all of our war efforts is crafted and designed about bringing back the hostages.

00:08:28.000 So for the success of this operation at this time, I believe that it was a huge feat from a professional perspective, but also on the level of morale in here in Israel.

00:08:38.000 And it was a very, very jubilant day yesterday.

00:08:41.000 So the operational side absolutely reflects and spills over into societal issues.

00:08:48.000 And there is a hope that we can continue to bring home the hostages Either through negotiations or in special force operations like we did yesterday.

00:08:56.000 It was an amazing feat.

00:08:58.000 Obviously, tragedy was attached to that feat on the Israeli side.

00:09:02.000 I'm not going to suggest that it's a tragedy when Hamas fighters die.

00:09:05.000 When Hamas terrorists die, that is a good to the world. 1.00

00:09:08.000 And when people who hide hostages in their home are killed, I'm not going to call that a tragedy either because they are hiding hostages in their home.

00:09:15.000 It is a tragedy when civilians are caught in the crossfire, but that tragedy is all on Hamas. 1.00

00:09:20.000 Anybody who can't make these moral distinctions is not worthy of your time.

00:09:23.000 As it turns out, a huge percentage of the world cannot make these moral distinctions.

00:09:26.000 We'll get to in a moment.

00:09:27.000 One other tragedy attached on the Israeli side is that one of the hostages was a man named Omar Merian, who was rescued from Hamas.

00:09:34.000 His father died hours before he had a chance to see his son was free again.

00:09:38.000 He had a heart attack.

00:09:39.000 He never found out that his son was actually free.

00:09:41.000 Apparently, he had basically starved himself to death in the months when his son was being held hostage.

00:09:46.000 He had lost 42 pounds or something.

00:09:48.000 He was in a serious health condition, and he died shortly, but literally the day of.

00:09:51.000 They went to notify him, and they found him dead, which is, of course, a secondary tragedy.

00:09:55.000 Okay, so, the reason why the left is really mad about this, and the left is mad about this, as we'll get to in a moment, the media coverage is insane.

00:10:03.000 I mean, truly insane.

00:10:06.000 We made an entire movie in the United States called Saving Private Ryan about a battalion that was unleashed, about a crew that was unleashed to go save one American soldier who was in harm's way because he had brothers who had died in combat.

00:10:16.000 And the entire movie is about how many Nazis do you have to kill to go save an American?

00:10:20.000 And how many people have to sacrifice their lives?

00:10:22.000 And that's a movie about heroism.

00:10:23.000 But the entire media has decided that Israel, using Whatever method necessary in order to free its own hostages is somehow morally questionable.

00:10:33.000 But the real reason the left is angry is not because of any of this.

00:10:36.000 The real reason that the left is angry today is because there are four premises that Israel exploded this weekend. 0.79

00:10:40.000 I mean, fully exploded them.

00:10:42.000 Premise number one, Israeli military action cannot free hostages.

00:10:46.000 This has been the favorite thing of the left since the beginning of the war.

00:10:49.000 The idea from the left was somehow that if Hamas seized hostages.

00:10:53.000 Israel had a moral duty to then surrender in the war in order to get back its hostages. 0.68

00:10:57.000 Now, Hamas should be left in control of the Gaza Strip, and the only way the hostages would come home is if Israel exerted no military pressure, which is, of course, ridiculous.

00:11:06.000 If no military pressure is exerted on a terror group, they are not going to free anyone because there's no pressure exerted on them, and they know that they're winning.

00:11:13.000 That gives them every incentive to hold hostage.

00:11:15.000 In fact, that's why they took the hostages in the first place.

00:11:18.000 This operation, in which four Israeli hostages were freed, is a reminder that Israeli military action can, in fact, free hostages.

00:11:24.000 In fact, this is one of the things Israel is historically unbelievably good at. 0.97

00:11:27.000 We'll get to more on this in just a moment.

00:11:28.000 First, the cost of living is up almost 20%.

00:11:31.000 From when Joe Biden took office, families everywhere are feeling that burden.

00:11:34.000 And yet, legacy media keep insisting the economy is totally fine.

00:11:37.000 In fact, a recent Business Insider article makes the case the American people are to blame.

00:11:41.000 Because it's the people's perception of inflation that's giving the economy a bad rap, you see.

00:11:46.000 This is Gaslighting 101.

00:11:47.000 The person who wrote this article should be fired, or go work for Biden directly.

00:11:51.000 While I don't have any control over that, I can help you find ways to save money in this economic climate.

00:11:56.000 Switch on over to PeerTalk.

00:12:38.000 That's PeerTalk.com slash Shapiro today.

00:12:40.000 Two, the idea that Hamas is willing to make a deal to release the hostages.

00:12:44.000 This is the Biden administration's favorite lie of the moment, is that Hamas is right on the verge of making a deal to release these hostages.

00:12:51.000 No, they're not, because any deal Hamas takes leaves them in power. 0.58

00:12:55.000 And any deal that leaves Hamas in power is no deal for Israel, because Hamas will take more hostages.

00:13:00.000 They have in the past, and they will again.

00:13:03.000 Not only that, when Hamas runs full neighborhoods, it turns out that they radicalize entire neighborhoods filled with quasi-civilians. 0.82

00:13:10.000 Which brings us to premise number three.

00:13:12.000 The Palestinian civilian population is absolutely 100% separate from the terrorist population.

00:13:17.000 I wish that were true.

00:13:18.000 It is not true.

00:13:19.000 There's another lie that the international left keeps promoting, but only sometimes.

00:13:22.000 Because sometimes they're just like, well, no, they're really not separate.

00:13:25.000 And that's why Israel should surrender. 0.99

00:13:26.000 And sometimes they're like, well, they're totally separate.

00:13:28.000 And that's why Israel should surrender. 0.99

00:13:30.000 But the sad reality is the vast majority of Palestinians in both the Gaza Strip and the West Bank support Hamas.

00:13:37.000 There is excellent poll data to support this.

00:13:40.000 We are talking well in excess of 70% of Palestinians believe October 7th was justified.

00:13:46.000 That is a sad and sick reality.

00:13:48.000 And refusing to deal with reality doesn't mean the reality goes away. 1.00

00:13:51.000 It means you're a moron. 1.00

00:13:53.000 And the entire West has blinded ourselves to this. 1.00

00:13:56.000 For purposes I'll describe in just a second.

00:13:59.000 That also means that when there is a higher civilian casualty than Westerners think is necessary, they are simply wrong.

00:14:07.000 Israel has the single best terrorist to civilian Death ratio of any army in modern history in a heavily urban environment.

00:14:17.000 You're talking about by the latest stats, almost two to one.

00:14:20.000 It's like 1.6 terrorists killed for every civilian killed.

00:14:22.000 And when you talk about civilians killed, you have to recognize not only is Hamas hiding among women and children, many of the people it's hiding among are in fact siding with Hamas, just like the civilians who were literally holding hostages.

00:14:33.000 By the way, this is nothing new.

00:14:34.000 We know from other hostages who have been freed in hostage deals earlier on for temporary ceasefires, We know for a fact that they were being held among Gazan civilians, in Gazan civilian households.

00:14:45.000 Which brings us to premise number four.

00:14:47.000 This premise is that the Israeli military presence in Gaza has to come to an end.

00:14:51.000 This again is a premise not only of the Biden administration, but the international left.

00:14:56.000 Is that Israel somehow has to turn the Gaza Strip over to somebody else.

00:14:59.000 Okay, any recommendations?

00:15:01.000 Any?

00:15:02.000 Can't be the UN.

00:15:03.000 Turns out that Israel turned over southern Lebanon to the UN in the aftermath of the 2006 war in Lebanon.

00:15:08.000 You know what happened?

00:15:09.000 Hezbollah took over the entire place and militarized the entire border. 1.00

00:15:12.000 It turns out the UN is a trash organization filled with trash people. 1.00

00:15:15.000 It's the Mos Eisley of international politics. 1.00

00:15:17.000 A wretched hive of scum and villainy. 0.99

00:15:19.000 So it ain't gonna be the UN. 1.00

00:15:20.000 You know who doesn't want to control the Gaza Strip? 0.97

00:15:22.000 You know who doesn't want to control the Gaza Strip? 0.97

00:15:22.000 UAE. 0.97

00:15:24.000 Saudi.

00:15:25.000 Egypt.

00:15:26.000 Jordan.

00:15:27.000 Israel has offered all of them the ability to do that.

00:15:29.000 They don't want it.

00:15:30.000 And let's be realistic about this.

00:15:32.000 If Israel does not have a significant military presence in the Gaza Strip going forward, how, in fact, are they going to be able to find the terrorists and kill them?

00:15:40.000 How, in fact, are they going to be able to keep an eye on the terrorist activity taking place in Gaza?

00:15:44.000 Let's say that Israel had not been in New Zealand.

00:15:47.000 How would they have known where these hostages were hiding?

00:15:49.000 How would they have carried out this operation?

00:15:52.000 The reason that Gaza is different than, for example, the West Bank is because Israel never gave up military presence in the West Bank.

00:15:59.000 Israel still has the ability to go into places like Nablus and Jenin, uncover incipient terror plots, and kill or capture or arrest terrorists.

00:16:09.000 So, those are four premises that the left holds that were all exploded over the weekend.

00:16:12.000 Again, the premises are, Israeli military action cannot free hostages.

00:16:16.000 Hamas is willing to make a deal to release the hostages.

00:16:16.000 False.

00:16:18.000 False.

00:16:19.000 Israeli military presence in Gaza must end.

00:16:21.000 False.

00:16:22.000 The Palestinian civilian population is completely separate from the terrorist population.

00:16:26.000 All four of those things are false.

00:16:26.000 False.

00:16:29.000 And the military operation exposed all four of them, which is why the left is so mad.

00:16:32.000 But all of that, wrapped together, exposes the biggest lie of all that is promoted by the international left.

00:16:39.000 And that is that there is a moral equivalent in the Middle East between Israel and its opponent.

00:16:43.000 There is not.

00:16:45.000 One side here is Western, and one side here is evil.

00:16:48.000 I'm sorry to break this to you.

00:16:49.000 If you have any moral problems, moral equivalencies here, Hamas is not the moral equivalent of Israel and never was. 0.84

00:16:55.000 The Palestinian population is wildly more radical than anything that you can find in Israel by leaps and bounds, which is why zero, count them, zero Jews live in Gaza. 1.00

00:17:05.000 In order for Israel to turn over any sort of rule in Gaza to the Palestinians, they had to remove physically 8,000 Jews from their homes by force using the Israeli military.

00:17:16.000 Israel has used more Israeli force to actually remove, not just move around, remove people from the Gaza Strip who are Jewish than it has done so to remove people who are Palestinian from the Gaza Strip.

00:17:27.000 They're still in the Gaza Strip right now.

00:17:29.000 They're moving around from area to area so that Israel doesn't accidentally bomb them and Israel's giving them warnings.

00:17:34.000 We'll get to more on this in a moment.

00:18:08.000 That's gcu.edu.

00:18:11.000 Hey, so, why am I so exercised about this?

00:18:13.000 Because the left reacted to this operation as though Israel had done something morally blameworthy in saving its own hostages.

00:18:20.000 There are a couple of premises that it is used here. 0.98

00:18:22.000 One is that, once again, the lie that Israel has not been meticulous in its use of military force, which is just stupid and insane and obviously factually wrong. 0.94

00:18:30.000 Then, there is the weird premise that it is up to Israel to somehow leave the hostages in the hands of terrorists if too many people on the other side are going to die. 0.99

00:18:40.000 No country worth its salt.

00:18:43.000 No country is going to treat its own citizens the same way that it treats citizens of another country, particularly a hostile enemy country holding hostages.

00:18:52.000 That's nuts.

00:18:55.000 People who are suggesting that Israel somehow should have foregone rescuing its hostages because too many Palestinian civilians might be caught in the crossfire because of Hamas are out of their minds or lying to you.

00:19:08.000 Many of them are the same people who full-on make excuses for Hamas breaking into Israel, and for no reason at all, slaughtering 1,200 Israelis, including a vast majority of those being civilians in civilian areas, grandmothers and babies.

00:19:20.000 Okay, so here is the reaction.

00:19:22.000 So here are some of the headline screen grabs.

00:19:25.000 You don't hate your legacy media enough.

00:19:27.000 Let me just put it that way. 1.00

00:19:27.000 Your legacy media trash. 1.00

00:19:29.000 I'm using the word trash a lot today, but it's because there's a lot of trash today. 0.99

00:19:33.000 So, the New York Times headline, quote, Israel's euphoria over hostage rescue may be fleeting. 0.94

00:19:38.000 The operation conducted by Israel's military to free four hostages resulted in a high death toll among Palestinians and has not resolved the challenges facing the Israeli government.

00:19:47.000 Okay, and a hammer isn't a screwdriver.

00:19:49.000 Like, I didn't realize that rescuing hostages was supposed to solve every internal division in the state of Israel.

00:19:55.000 Divisions that long predated any of this, which is why you had mass movements in the streets with regard to judicial reform, if you recall, it's a while ago, before October 7th.

00:20:04.000 Also, Israel's euphoria is supposed to be fleeting for saving its hostages because too many Palestinians died in the operation?

00:20:12.000 I think not.

00:20:13.000 That's one New York Times headline.

00:20:16.000 And there's a second New York Times headline.

00:20:18.000 The bombing was unimaginably intense.

00:20:21.000 Gazans recalled the Israeli raid that left scorers dead and wounded.

00:20:23.000 Wow.

00:20:24.000 Oh, you know the real victims, when you kidnap people and then people come to rescue those people, is you.

00:20:30.000 If you're the kidnapper and the people surrounding the kidnappers who know that the people who are kidnapped are there, and let's be real about this, the idea that people in the surrounding area had no clue that these hostages were being held there is a lie.

00:20:41.000 You know how we know that?

00:20:42.000 Because the Israelis knew.

00:20:43.000 If the Israelis knew, who else do you think knew in the area?

00:20:46.000 Quite a few people probably knew in the area.

00:20:48.000 Hey, that is another headline.

00:20:50.000 And then you have this from the Washington Post.

00:20:51.000 The Washington Post has basically just become a love letter to Hamas at this point. 0.82

00:20:57.000 Quote, inside Israel's hostage rescue, secret plans and a deadly wall of fire.

00:21:02.000 This account is based on more than a dozen interviews with former and current Israeli military officials, family members of hostages, and Palestinian eyewitnesses.

00:21:09.000 A deadly wall, secret plans and a deadly wall of fire.

00:21:13.000 Oh man, that's terrible.

00:21:15.000 That sounds truly terrible.

00:21:17.000 Just great headlines happening here from the Washington Post.

00:21:21.000 For Israel, a rare day of joy amid bloodshed as four hostages are rescued alive. 0.71

00:21:25.000 A rare day of joy amid bloodshed.

00:21:26.000 Who is creating the bloodshed?

00:21:28.000 We'll get to more on all of this in just one second.

00:22:23.000 We'll get to more on this in a moment.

00:22:24.000 First, if you're dreading allergy season right now, I've got a great product for you.

00:22:27.000 It's called Armra Colostrum.

00:22:29.000 Colostrum is a powerful bioactive food.

00:22:31.000 It's also the first bit of nutrition you receive when you're born.

00:22:33.000 Mammals produce it in the first 48 to 72 hours after giving birth.

00:22:36.000 Colostrum contains all the essential nutrients our bodies need to thrive, many of which can't be found in any other natural source.

00:22:41.000 There are thousands of research-backed benefits to colostrum.

00:22:44.000 When allergy season comes around, Arm-Ra Colostrum can help strengthen your respiratory barriers to change how your body interacts with allergens.

00:22:50.000 It's a great way to naturally support your body through allergy season and beyond.

00:22:54.000 My friend Brett Cooper has discovered Arm-Ra Colostrum.

00:22:56.000 She's been taking it regularly to keep her health in check.

00:22:58.000 A lot of the folks on this team are following suit.

00:23:00.000 Producer Savvy has been taking that Arm-Ra Colostrum as well to boost her immune system as a new mom. 1.00

00:23:07.000 Right now, you'll receive 15% off your very first order.

00:23:10.000 Go to tryarmra.com slash Shapiro Omar makes such a key point.

00:23:14.000 15% off your very first order.

00:23:16.000 T-R-Y-A-R-M-R-A dot com slash Shapiro.

00:23:19.000 That's tryarmra dot com slash Shapiro or enter code Shapiro at checkout.

00:23:23.000 Crystal Ball, who is the host of a show called Breaking Point and also a dullard, says, quote, 0.99

00:23:29.000 Omar makes such a key point. 0.60

00:23:30.000 If Hamas committed a bloody massacre of Israelis to rescue four Palestinians, it would be universally 0.99

00:23:34.000 condemned.

00:23:35.000 Rescue four Palestinians? 1.00

00:23:36.000 When was the last time Israel just started randomly kidnapping 250 Palestinians, including women, children, and the elderly, and shoving them in a prison for no reason, or putting them among their civilians in Tel Aviv?

00:23:48.000 But Palestinian lives are considered so worthless by U.S.

00:23:50.000 officials, they believe this bloodbath is not only acceptable, but worthy of celebration.

00:23:54.000 Now, the only thing worthy of celebration to the international left would be Israel surrendering to Hamas. 0.68

00:23:58.000 That's all.

00:23:59.000 It's that simple.

00:24:00.000 Which is why there were giant protests outside the White House over the weekend.

00:24:05.000 The protesters surrounded the White House and they held a giant red line because the idea was that the red line has been violated, not by Hamas being a terrorist group that is holding Americans, but by the Israelis for, you know, actually attempting to free their own citizens and kill the terrorists.

00:24:21.000 So they surrounded the White House holding a giant red line and shouting at Joe Biden, of course.

00:24:29.000 You can see it's a fairly large crowd.

00:24:31.000 And then meanwhile, they really showed their cards. 0.98

00:24:35.000 They decided to shout at Secret Service that those members of Secret Service should kill themselves. 0.83

00:24:39.000 These are a group of wonderful people.

00:24:40.000 Again, the relevance of this to the West, the reason I said at the top of the show this has to do with the West and this is not just sort of a faraway conflict, is because a West that accepts the premise that evil terrorists are on par with Western democracies is a West that does not deserve to remain.

00:24:58.000 It just doesn't.

00:24:59.000 And it won't remain because it's undermining itself from within.

00:25:02.000 A West that marches with Hamas, which is what the left has become, that screams at Secret Service agents on behalf of Hamas, and carries around flags in solidarity with Hamas, and wears terrorist keffiyehs, and all the rest of it?

00:25:16.000 Is that a West that can long survive?

00:25:19.000 I have serious questions. 0.98

00:25:21.000 Here are pro-Palestinian protesters telling Secret Service members to kill themselves. 1.00

00:25:31.000 White kids go home! 1.00

00:25:34.000 You're terrible! 1.00

00:25:34.000 These, uh, look at these, look at these white kids. 1.00

00:25:34.000 Kill yourself! 1.00

00:25:38.000 These dumb- Jun-Juco. 1.00

00:25:41.000 Actually, they're probably Ivy League undergrads majoring in the theater arts, who would immediately be thrown off the top of a building in Gaza. 0.99

00:25:50.000 Meanwhile, protesters were holding signs that said delightful things, like jihad or martyrdom.

00:25:56.000 They literally were outside the White House carrying a... They're carrying a sign that says an Al-Qassam, which is a terrorist group.

00:26:04.000 And a sign that says, Jihad of Victory or Martyrdom.

00:26:08.000 That's a full-on terror sign outside the White House.

00:26:12.000 In full sight. 0.99

00:26:14.000 Meanwhile, another sign appeared that said, Kill another Zionist now. 0.98

00:26:16.000 So, I mean, they're not hiding the ball anymore. 0.98

00:26:19.000 That's exciting stuff.

00:26:21.000 Al Qassam, make us proud! 1.00

00:26:26.000 Kill another soldier now! 1.00

00:26:30.000 Hezbollah, Hezbollah! 1.00

00:26:34.000 Kill another Zionist now! 1.00

00:26:36.000 Hezbollah! 1.00

00:26:56.000 Hezbo These are people who love the West and love America, probably. 0.94

00:27:01.000 Probably should import more of them, and or educate our children to love their message.

00:27:06.000 These are the most moral people, we are told.

00:27:08.000 These are the people who are filled with moral, with just the moral righteousness of their generation.

00:27:14.000 The D.C.

00:27:14.000 police for their part's arrested?

00:27:17.000 Despite all the vandalism?

00:27:18.000 Despite all this?

00:27:19.000 The D.C.

00:27:19.000 police arrested?

00:27:20.000 Wait for it, wait for it.

00:27:21.000 No one.

00:27:23.000 Zero.

00:27:24.000 If those were white supremacists, how many people get arrested that day?

00:27:26.000 A lot of people get arrested.

00:27:28.000 The international left, which has become a terror front group in many ways, is now running wild.

00:27:33.000 And they've taken over the Democratic Party because the Democratic Party is so afraid of pissing these people off.

00:27:37.000 They're afraid that if they do, then they are going to somehow lose the upcoming election.

00:27:43.000 This led Kamala Harris, the dullest knife in the drawer, To suggest that she mourned the Palestinians who died in the heroic Israeli hostage rescue.

00:27:53.000 Here was the Vice President of the United States at an event and hecklers showed up and then she said she wanted to hear from them while kicking them out of the room. 1.00

00:28:00.000 Because obviously you have to demonstrate that you have solidarity with the people who really hate Israel so much so that they're very upset when hostages get rescued.

00:28:09.000 For the past eight months, President Biden and I have been working every day to bring this conflict.

00:28:18.000 I'm speaking right now, and I value and respect your voice, but I'm speaking right now.

00:28:23.000 I value and respect your voice.

00:28:25.000 Mm-hmm.

00:28:26.000 She said, quote, we mourn all of the innocent lives that have been lost in Gaza, including those tragically killed today.

00:28:30.000 Yes, that's the central message.

00:28:33.000 You know how different this war would be if President Trump... First of all, it wouldn't be going on.

00:28:36.000 President Trump already would have said to the Israelis, go and finish what you need to do and then get... Finish what you do, provide the security apparatus, and then stop.

00:28:44.000 That's what Trump would have... He said that openly.

00:28:47.000 It turns out that when you provide moral cover for terrorists, they take advantage of every element of it.

00:28:53.000 We'll get some more on this in a moment.

00:28:54.000 First, my days are pretty darn full between being a dad, the show, all the other stuff going on.

00:28:59.000 I can't keep up with the day if I don't get a good night's sleep.

00:29:01.000 That's why I appreciate my Helix mattress.

00:29:21.000 I took that Helix quiz.

00:29:22.000 I was matched with a firm but breathable mattress.

00:29:24.000 I love it.

00:29:24.000 My wife loves it.

00:29:41.000 Just head on over to helixsleep.com slash Ben.

00:29:44.000 It's the best offer yet.

00:29:45.000 It's not going to last long.

00:29:46.000 Helixsleep.com slash Ben.

00:29:48.000 We've been reliant on that Helix Sleep mattress for years.

00:29:50.000 You'll learn to be reliant as well.

00:29:51.000 It's that good with Helix.

00:29:53.000 Better sleep starts now.

00:29:54.000 Helixsleep.com slash Ben.

00:29:56.000 Joe Biden put out a statement.

00:29:58.000 The statement praised the IDF rescue, but also called for a ceasefire anyway.

00:30:02.000 He's still calling for Israel to somehow declare some sort of ceasefire against Hamas, despite the fact its military action just freed hostages.

00:30:09.000 Before I begin my remarks, I want to echo President Macron's comments welcoming the safe rescue of four hostages that were returned to their families in Israel.

00:30:20.000 We won't stop working until all the hostages come home and a ceasefire is reached.

00:30:24.000 That is essential to happen.

00:30:27.000 Okay, and then Jake Sullivan was like, you know what we really need?

00:30:30.000 What we really need is we need Hamas to just, you know, sign a ceasefire. 0.62

00:30:34.000 That's really what's going to happen.

00:30:35.000 Again, the delusion of these people is so strong.

00:30:38.000 Here was Jake Sullivan suggesting that Hamas might walk away from the negotiating table after the hostage rescue.

00:30:43.000 Well, then I guess Israel should have left its hostages with the terrorists, obviously. 0.84

00:30:48.000 Are you concerned at all, given what you just said, that the ball is in Hamas's court right now, that the rescue that happened on Saturday will make it so that Hamas might walk away from the negotiating table?

00:31:08.000 It's a legitimate question.

00:31:09.000 Why is that a legitimate question?

00:31:10.000 It's hard for me to put myself in the mindset of a Hamas terrorist. 1.00

00:31:13.000 Stop this idiot! 1.00

00:31:14.000 I have a question. 1.00

00:31:15.000 How's that a legitimate question?

00:31:16.000 Israel rescues hostages and they're like, well, that might piss off the terrorists.

00:31:19.000 Who took the hostages? 1.00

00:31:22.000 Man, a West that cannot simply revel in the fact that people who hold Western hostages, including Americans, get their asses kicked. 0.99

00:31:29.000 I don't know if that's a West that can survive for very long. 0.99

00:31:33.000 Honestly, I doubt it.

00:31:35.000 I seriously doubt it.

00:31:36.000 A West dominated by the kind of self-doubt and moral foolishness that you're seeing here.

00:31:43.000 That, oh my God, maybe Israel should have left the hostages. 0.88

00:31:45.000 What's going to happen now with the ceasefire?

00:31:46.000 Oh my gosh, look at all the civilian casualties caused by Hamas. 0.86

00:31:49.000 Probably Israel should have left the hostages in there. 0.92

00:31:52.000 And this is not the nation of World War II.

00:31:54.000 It certainly is not.

00:31:55.000 And this is not the West of World War II that was fighting the Nazis and fighting the Japanese.

00:32:00.000 It just isn't.

00:32:01.000 It's not at all.

00:32:03.000 Which, by the way, is why I am encouraged.

00:32:05.000 And I think that it has a lot to do with the fact that the EU is now turning hard to the right.

00:32:10.000 It turns out the European population has had enough of this.

00:32:13.000 The European population, the only good news here is that as the international left becomes effectively a front group for Hamas, One of the good pieces of news here is that more and more members of the West are like, we don't want any part of this. 0.86

00:32:27.000 We want to close the immigration. 1.00

00:32:28.000 We don't want any people who sympathize with terrorists.

00:32:30.000 We don't want them in our societies.

00:32:31.000 We think they wreck our societies.

00:32:33.000 The Europeans, I think, are getting a little tired of an international left that seems to love Hamas and also riots.

00:32:40.000 And so, last night, the European Parliament election went very, very poorly for the left.

00:32:45.000 According to the Associated Press, far-right parties and far-right, according to the Associated Press, just means anyone to the right of Emmanuel Macron.

00:32:52.000 If you're Emmanuel Macron, you're a centrist.

00:32:53.000 Anyone to your right is far-right.

00:32:54.000 There is no actual right.

00:32:56.000 You're just far to the right.

00:32:57.000 far-right parties rattled the traditional powers in the EU and made major gains in parliamentary

00:33:01.000 elections on Sunday, dealing an especially humiliating defeat to French President Emmanuel

00:33:04.000 Macron. On a night where the 27-member bloc palpably shifted to the right, Italian Prime

00:33:09.000 Minister Giorgio Maloney more than doubled her seats in the EU Parliament. So the EU Parliament

00:33:13.000 is of course across the continent, it's continent-wide.

00:33:18.000 It has the most votes for any parliament in the world except for India.

00:33:23.000 And the seats are allocated based on the number of votes they receive, and then all of these parties get together in sort of broader coalitions.

00:33:31.000 Even if the alternative for Germany extreme party was hounded by scandal involving candidates, it rallied enough seats to sweep past the Social Democrats of Chancellor Olaf Scholz in Germany.

00:33:40.000 Meanwhile, sensing a threat from the far right, the Christian Democrats and EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen had already shifted further to the right on migration and climate ahead of the elections, so they remained the largest group in the 720-seat European Parliament, and they remain the people in charge.

00:33:56.000 The big star of the night was the party of Marine Le Pen, that would be the National Rally Party, which dominated the French polls.

00:34:02.000 Now, one of the things that is truly hilarious about European politics is that the so-called far right on issues regarding terrorism in Israel, each of these right-wing parties tends to be wildly more pro-Israel than its left-wing counterpart.

00:34:14.000 So the National Rally of Marine Le Pen, whose father was not particularly friendly to the Jews, That national rally party is very pro-Israel.

00:34:21.000 George Maloney, very pro-Israel.

00:34:23.000 Gert Wilders, very pro-Israel.

00:34:25.000 Viktor Orban, very pro-Israel.

00:34:27.000 So the right-wing parties have a lot of solidarity with Israel.

00:34:30.000 And so it turns out when they look on the streets of London and they see 300,000 people who are marching in favor of Hamas, they all say, well, maybe we shouldn't have that in our country.

00:34:40.000 Emmanuel Macron immediately called snap elections because he was afraid that he was going to suffer more losses.

00:34:46.000 Le Pen was delighted to accept the challenge.

00:34:49.000 She said we're ready to turn the country around, ready to defend the interests of the French, ready to put an end to mass immigration. 1.00

00:34:53.000 Her national rally won about 30 percent.

00:34:57.000 That's twice as much as Macron's pro-European centrist Renew Party that is projected to reach less than 15 percent.

00:35:04.000 In Germany, projections indicated that the AFD overcame a string of scandals involving top candidates to rise to 16.5%, that is up from 11%.

00:35:12.000 Meanwhile, the combined result for all three parties in the current German governing coalition barely topped 30%.

00:35:20.000 So again, the Europeans are not liking what they are seeing from the center, and they're not liking what they're seeing from the left.

00:35:27.000 And I would have to think a lot of that has to do not only with the fallout from COVID, but the fallout from an entire wing of pro-terror leftists who have emerged all over Europe.

00:35:39.000 In fact, in the hilarious move of the night, the Belgian Prime Minister of the Left, Alexandre Ducroix, had to announce his resignation after the defeat of his Flemish Liberals and Democrats party in the European elections.

00:35:51.000 He said that he would resign as Prime Minister today.

00:35:56.000 Again, they suffered a huge decline in the European Parliament, which is seen as sort of a bellwether for how things are going to go domestically as well.

00:36:03.000 Europe is making a hard right turn.

00:36:05.000 It turns out maybe the Europeans aren't wedded to the idea of national suicide quite yet.

00:36:11.000 Maybe they still would like to go down swinging, you know, being European. 1.00

00:36:15.000 And maybe the same thing is happening here in the United States as well.

00:36:17.000 Maybe it turns out that in the United States, we are not liking the party of pro-Hamas. 0.85

00:36:23.000 It turns out that Joe Biden's unwillingness to stand up to that party is a problem.

00:36:28.000 It's why John Fetterman, who has been standing up to the Hamasniks, has been doing really well in Pennsylvania. 1.00

00:36:32.000 Josh Shapiro, the Democratic governor of Pennsylvania, has been doing really well.

00:36:36.000 But the Democratic Party, they can't separate off from its most radical, anti-American base, the people who spray-paint statues of George Washington in the name of Hamas.

00:36:44.000 Turns out that party might have a bit of a backlash attached.

00:36:48.000 And when that party is led by a doddering old man who has serious corruption problems, that's not great either.

00:36:54.000 The media are now turning on Joe Biden in a fairly serious way.

00:36:56.000 We saw the Wall Street Journal run an entire piece about how he was basically senile last week.

00:37:00.000 Well, now Politico has run a piece about the corruption in the Biden family.

00:37:03.000 It's titled, Biden insists he's not involved in his family's business dealings, but his aides are a different story.

00:37:09.000 Well, that's an interesting way of saying that he obviously is involved in his family's corruption.

00:37:13.000 So he's not involved.

00:37:14.000 Just all of his aides, like all of them, are involved.

00:37:17.000 For years, Joe Biden shared a bookkeeper with his son, Hunter.

00:37:19.000 He also shared a personal lawyer with his brother, Jim.

00:37:21.000 When Jim Biden wanted to know more about one of Hunter Biden's associates, he hired the former head of Joe Biden's Secret Service detail to investigate.

00:37:27.000 Since 2019, Biden has repeatedly distanced himself from his family's business dealings, saying he has never so much as discussed them with his relatives or anyone else.

00:37:34.000 But House impeachment inquiry interviews, public records, and emails reviewed by Politico show members of his inner circle were regularly enmeshed in those dealings.

00:37:42.000 Many of the president's closest staffers and advisors have doubled as his relatives' business associates, both during and after their stints working for the man at the center of the Biden family orbit.

00:37:51.000 Of course he knew everything that was going on with his family.

00:37:56.000 Of course!

00:37:57.000 Eric Schwerin, for example, was Joe Biden's personal bookkeeper during his vice presidency, while Schwerin was also Hunter Biden's business partner and personal bookkeeper.

00:38:06.000 In recent years, a person named Mel Montzak was personal attorney for both Joe and Jim Biden.

00:38:10.000 Fran Person was Joe Biden's body man.

00:38:12.000 Then, after going into work with a Chinese real estate developer, sought to do business with Hunter Biden and offered him the developer's personal largesse.

00:38:20.000 Dale Pupilo oversaw Joe Biden's secret service detail while he was VP, then worked as a private investigator for Jim.

00:38:26.000 So basically, there's just complete crossover, and Politico's noting it.

00:38:29.000 Again, it's not really noteworthy that Joe Biden's corrupt.

00:38:31.000 We've known he's corrupt for a long time.

00:38:33.000 What's really fascinating is that now Politico's reporting on it. 0.94

00:38:35.000 So, in the last week, we have a report from the Wall Street Journal about how he's senile, a report from Politico about how he's corrupt, and now we have a report from the New York Times about how he's a liar. 0.78

00:38:42.000 Now, the New York Times can't actually just say he's a liar, so they heavily imply it. 0.82

00:38:47.000 Their title is, quote, Biden loves to tell tall tales.

00:38:51.000 We cut them down to size.

00:38:52.000 It's a tall tale, you see.

00:38:54.000 He's not lying.

00:38:55.000 It's a tall tale.

00:38:56.000 He's kind of like your old uncle out there on the porch smoking his corncob pipe and telling you about the time cannibals ate his uncle. 0.98

00:39:03.000 Except for the fact none of it's true. 0.96

00:39:05.000 They could just say he's a pathological liar, because he is, but the New York Times won't just say that. 0.95

00:39:10.000 Yeah, it's charming when Joe Biden lies. 0.76

00:39:13.000 According to the New York Times, and President Biden's telling, he was a teenage civil rights

00:39:16.000 activist, a former trucker, the first in his family to go to college, and the nephew of

00:39:19.000 a cannibalism victim. All of these claims stretch the truth or are downright false.

00:39:23.000 But Mr. Biden persists in telling personal tales with rhetorical flourishes and factual liberty when he works a room or regales an audience.

00:39:29.000 They are a way to connect with voters, emphasize his middle-class Joe persona, and charm his audience.

00:39:34.000 Despite Mr. Biden's penchant for exaggerating details when recounting episodes from his life, these autobiographical embellishments differ in scale and significance from the stream of lies about a stolen election peddled by his opponent, former President Donald Trump.

00:39:46.000 So they're yarns, you see.

00:39:48.000 When he's lying about all this stuff, when he just fibs... By the way, it is not true that the stuff that he says about elections is magnificently different from Donald Trump.

00:39:57.000 Donald Trump, I think, says things that are untrue about the 2020 election.

00:40:01.000 That election fraud was responsible for his loss, for example.

00:40:05.000 Joe Biden says, whenever his party loses, votes have been suppressed.

00:40:10.000 I'm having a hard time seeing a massive difference there.

00:40:13.000 He continues to go out to black audiences and say voter suppression is a thing in Georgia.

00:40:15.000 That's not true.

00:40:18.000 Doesn't matter.

00:40:18.000 The media's gonna try and play it as though he's not really a liar.

00:40:20.000 He's just a... He's a teller of tall tales, you see?

00:40:24.000 Well, here's the thing. 0.99

00:40:24.000 He's a liar, and everybody's starting to notice it. 0.99

00:40:26.000 And they're starting to notice it because he's a real good shot. 1.00

00:40:29.000 He loses to Donald Trump come November.

00:40:32.000 Alrighty, coming up.

00:40:33.000 We are going to get into some racial politics with the experts.

00:40:39.000 Those experts, of course, are people like Joy Reid and Jemele Hill.

00:40:41.000 We'll get to that in a moment.
