00:00:00.000 Hamas continues to fire hundreds of rockets into civilian centers in Israel.
00:00:04.000 Inflation numbers come out and they are frightening.
00:00:06.000 And the Biden administration continues to lie about COVID statistics.
00:00:09.000 I'm Ben Shapiro.
00:00:09.000 This is the Ben Shapiro Show.
00:00:16.000 The Ben Shapiro Show is sponsored by ExpressVPN.
00:00:19.000 For peace of mind whenever you go online, visit expressvpn.com.
00:00:22.000 Slash Ben will get to all the news in just one moment.
00:00:25.000 First, your reminder.
00:00:26.000 Again, there are a lot of VPN providers out there.
00:00:28.000 You've probably heard of a couple of them.
00:00:29.000 Some of you may even have used a VPN before to protect yourself from big tech and from all of the hackers out there who are looking for your information.
00:00:36.000 I like to do research on my sponsors.
00:00:37.000 I only recommend brands to my listeners that I believe in.
00:00:39.000 That's why I've been talking for so long about ExpressVPN.
00:00:43.000 ExpressVPN is the best VPN on the market.
00:00:44.000 Here are just a few reasons why.
00:00:45.000 Number one, ExpressVPN does not log your data.
00:00:48.000 There are lots of really cheap or free VPNs that actually make money by selling your data to ad companies, which is precisely the opposite of what you want from a VPN.
00:00:55.000 Instead, ExpressVPN developed a technology, it's called Trusted Server, that makes it impossible for their servers to log any of your information.
00:01:01.000 Second, it's really, really fast.
00:01:03.000 A lot of VPNs will actually slow your connection, make it more difficult for you to do what you need to do online.
00:01:07.000 Not ExpressVPN.
00:01:08.000 My internet speeds remain blazing fast.
00:01:10.000 The last thing, ExpressVPN.
00:01:12.000 It's really easy to use.
00:01:13.000 I'm talking like one click of a button and you are good to go.
00:01:15.000 Protect yourself with the VPN I use and trust.
00:01:18.000 Use my link, expressvpn.com slash ben today.
00:01:21.000 Get an extra three months for free on a one-year package.
00:01:23.000 That's expressvpn.com slash ben.

00:01:28.000 Alrighty, so overnight, Hundreds more rocket attacks on Israel by Hamas, which is a terrorist group.
00:01:34.000 A little bit of history for you.
00:01:35.000 Hamas is an openly genocidal group.
00:01:38.000 They have said over and over and over that they wish for Israel not to exist.
00:01:41.000 This is not a conflict over land.
00:01:43.000 This is not a conflict over borders.
00:01:44.000 This is not a conflict over a right to return.
00:01:46.000 This is a conflict in which one side wishes to destroy the other side utterly and completely.
00:01:50.000 And this has been their long-stated goal.
00:01:52.000 And they were about to win an election, by the way, in the West Bank, which is the reason for all of this.
00:01:56.000 The recent history here is that in late April, Mahmoud Abbas, who again is a terrorist, Mahmoud Abbas, treated as a legit world leader by much of the world community, but is not.
00:02:07.000 Mahmoud Abbas, the head of the Palestinian Authority, which is a terrorist organization, but a slightly less terrorist organization than Hamas, He had declared that there would be elections in April.
00:02:16.000 The first elections since 2004.
00:02:17.000 He is now in the 16th year of a four-year term, Mahmoud Abbas.
00:02:20.000 So he declared elections, then it appeared he was going to lose.
00:02:23.000 So he canceled the elections in late April and blamed the Jews!
00:02:27.000 Because this is what you do if you are a Palestinian leader who has suddenly got their feet to the fire. 0.63
00:02:33.000 So, Mahmoud Abbas cancels the election, he blames the Jews, and he starts ramping up calls for violence.
00:02:39.000 Hamas not to be outdone because the way that you apparently garner support is to show that you hate the Jews even more than the guy next to you. 0.57
00:02:45.000 Hamas decides they are going to ramp up the violence.
00:02:47.000 This all culminates in violence on the Temple Mount, spurred by Hamas, spurred by Fatah, people using the Al-Aqsa Mosque, a holy site to Muslims, as an actual staging base to perform acts of terrorism and violence against police officers, Israeli police officers.
00:03:03.000 And then when Israel goes in to stop that, then the rocket fire begins from Hamas, which has decided to up the ante. 0.84
00:03:10.000 So number one, let's just recognize a quick truth.
00:03:14.000 None of this would be happening right now in terms of this heavy rocket fire from Gaza if Israel had not unilaterally made the concession in 2005 to pull out of the Gaza Strip completely.
00:03:23.000 Remember, Israel had Jewish areas of the Gaza- there were Jewish areas in the northern Gaza Strip.
00:03:29.000 There were these little cities in the northern Gaza Strip.
00:03:32.000 They had greenhouses, they were quite prosperous.
00:03:34.000 In 2005, Israel unilaterally withdrew in order, supposedly, to push for a new peace deal.
00:03:38.000 The idea was going to be, look, Israel is giving up this land, and now it's another stone in the wall of peace that's going to be built right here. 0.75
00:03:45.000 Instead, Hamas immediately rushed in, burned all the greenhouses, and then started building up its rocket bases for use against the state of Israel.
00:03:52.000 And what this has resulted in is that most of Israel is now under the umbrella of terror.
00:03:57.000 From the north, Israel is under the umbrella of Hezbollah, which is an Iranian-backed terror group in Lebanon.
00:04:02.000 They have apparently 150,000 rockets.
00:04:05.000 If you think it's bad right now, with Hamas firing hundreds of rockets today, wait until it's Hezbollah firing thousands of rockets today. 0.87
00:04:11.000 And then, from the south, they are under assault from Hamas, a terrorist group located in the Gaza Strip.
00:04:17.000 Palestinian Islamic Jihad is located in both Judea, Samaria, the West Bank, and the Gaza Strip.
00:04:23.000 So Israel, Israeli citizens basically live under the constant threat that at any moment things could go up in flames and all of a sudden they could be living underground.
00:04:31.000 So I was texting with a bunch of friends in Israel last night who were literally texting from bunkers.
00:04:35.000 Many of them had been giving 45 second, 60 second, 90 second warnings to get underground as soon as humanly possible.
00:04:41.000 Because the fact is that Israel is a tiny, tiny country.
00:04:45.000 And it is a tiny country surrounded by malevolent countries that do not wish it well.
00:04:50.000 This is why the Trump breakthrough, in terms of actually creating alliances and helping to foster alliances between Israel and places like the United Arab Emirates, and places like Sudan, and places like Morocco, why this was such a good thing.
00:05:01.000 The Biden administration immediately blew it.
00:05:03.000 Okay, so there are a few events that led up to this.
00:05:05.000 One was Abbas canceling the election and then having to demonstrate to the Palestinians that mostly it was Israel and we need to blame Israel and let's have a competition as to who hates Israel most.
00:05:15.000 It's also a smart move by Abbas in the sense that Hamas, in going all the way, in shooting rockets into Israel, was going to be also the chief recipient of Israeli return fire. 0.84
00:05:25.000 So Abbas is basically having the Israelis do his dirty work by killing off all of Hamas's leadership.
00:05:29.000 So this is one of the things that's happening as well.
00:05:31.000 The other thing that happened is that the Biden administration, upon entering office, immediately signified that it wanted to push Israel into making concessions to these terror groups, that it would restore funding to the UNRWA, which is an agency specifically dedicated toward fostering Palestinian extremism.
00:05:47.000 That the United States would restore $290 million worth of foreign aid to the Palestinian Authority, much of which would be used for terrorism and fostering of terrorism.
00:05:58.000 Okay, so the United States basically reopened the door.
00:06:01.000 The Trump administration said, no, we are making very clear who our allies are here, and if you engage in terror, the money ain't coming your way.
00:06:07.000 And things were calm, and things were quiet.
00:06:09.000 And then the Biden administration came in, and within months, you have this massive conflagration, which is now on the verge of all-out war.
00:06:15.000 And the reason it's on the verge of all-out war is because Israel literally has millions of its citizens now living underground. 0.50
00:06:20.000 Okay, so to understand this conflict, the thing you really need to understand is the map.
00:06:24.000 Okay, so there are a few maps I'm going to show you right now.
00:06:25.000 The first map shows you the actual range of fire from Gaza.
00:06:29.000 Okay, the distances from the Gaza Strip to various Israeli cities.
00:06:33.000 Okay, what you will see here is that the distances are tiny.
00:06:37.000 Israel is a tiny postage stamp of a country. 0.93
00:06:40.000 The distance from Gaza, the Gaza Strip, which is located in the southwest corner of Israel, So the distance from the Gaza Strip to Ashkelon, which is a city that has been under steady rocket fire over the course of the last three days, is about 13 miles.
00:06:57.000 That's the distance, 13 miles.
00:06:58.000 The distance from the Gaza Strip to Tel Aviv, this was considered a long shot for Hamas until recently, that distance is about 44 miles.
00:07:07.000 Okay, not a long, less than an hour.
00:07:10.000 Car ride.
00:07:11.000 Significantly less than an hour car ride.
00:07:13.000 The distance from Gaza to Jerusalem, which is sort of in the center of the country, is only 47 miles.
00:07:18.000 From Gaza to Ashdod, it's 24 miles.
00:07:20.000 Okay, what does this mean?
00:07:21.000 It means that when you fire rockets, people have pretty much no warning.
00:07:24.000 Okay, here is a map of the warning times when a rocket is fired.
00:07:29.000 Okay, if a rocket were to be fired from essentially Gaza to Ashdod, you'd be talking about at most 30 seconds of warning time.
00:07:39.000 If you're talking about Gaza to Jerusalem, you're talking about 1.5 minutes of warning time, about 90 seconds of warning time.
00:07:45.000 If you're talking about to Tel Aviv, about the same, a little bit under 90 seconds of warning time.
00:07:48.000 That means that if you're woken up at 3 a.m.
00:07:51.000 by a rocket siren going off, you now have 90 seconds to grab your kids and get down into a bomb shelter before the rockets start to hit.
00:07:59.000 Hey so, Hamas, knowing this, has been firing hundreds of rockets into Israel.
00:08:04.000 The reason they're firing hundreds of rockets simultaneously is because their goal is to overwhelm Israel's iron defense system. 0.59
00:08:09.000 So Israel has an iron dome system, it's called the iron dome system, and the iron dome system is largely Relegated to shooting down missiles that are going to land in populated areas.
00:08:19.000 So Tel Aviv has an Iron Dome system.
00:08:20.000 Jerusalem has an Iron Dome system.
00:08:22.000 And it's very effective.
00:08:23.000 It shoots down about 90% of these rockets.
00:08:25.000 But here's the problem.
00:08:27.000 As you increase the number of rockets that are fired, the additional 10%, an absolute number, starts to go up.
00:08:32.000 So here is a map of the rocket alerts.
00:08:35.000 These are the sirens.
00:08:36.000 Just over the last 30, this is over a 30 minute period last night.
00:08:39.000 As you can see, The entire map is red.
00:08:42.000 The entire map from Ashdod in the south all the way up to Hadera in the north is completely red.
00:08:49.000 The reason is because they were firing hundreds of rockets.
00:08:51.000 They fired over a thousand rockets over the course of the last 36 hours from the Gaza Strip into Israel.
00:08:56.000 They don't care who they hit. 0.85
00:08:58.000 They don't care.
00:08:59.000 Last night, Hamas killed an Israeli Arab father and seven-year-old girl in Lod, which is a city that right now is actually in the middle of race riots, essentially.
00:09:11.000 Okay, so Hamas started this conflict.
00:09:14.000 Hamas clearly started the conflict. 0.53
00:09:15.000 And now Israel has no choice. 0.71
00:09:17.000 No country can sustain this.
00:09:19.000 No country can allow its citizenry to be put underground by a terrorist group.
00:09:22.000 Israel has every moral obligation to go in and decapitate the entire Hamas regime. 0.99
00:09:27.000 What comes next? 0.94
00:09:28.000 Who the hell knows? 0.99
00:09:29.000 But Israel has a moral obligation to go in and kill every Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad leader they can find. 0.98
00:09:34.000 And in fact, this is what Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, is saying.
00:09:37.000 It's not just Netanyahu.
00:09:37.000 It's not just about Netanyahu.
00:09:39.000 Yair Lapid, who's in the opposition, feels the same way.
00:09:43.000 Benny Gantz, who's in the opposition, feels the same way.
00:09:45.000 He's the current Defense Minister.
00:09:48.000 There's widespread Israeli acknowledgement that just like if you, in your city, were put underground by a terrorist group living across the border, And you're told that you had to live in the basement, and you were going to live under constant rocket fire, you would expect the American government to go and eviscerate that regime.
00:10:02.000 Well, the same thing should be expected of any decent state, and Israel, of course, has a moral obligation to defend its own citizens, as even most members of the West acknowledge.
00:10:10.000 Now, most members of the West also then participate in this moral equivalence game where they pretend that Israel is somehow an aggressor here, which is a complete lie, but Israel does have the obligation to do this. 0.70
00:10:19.000 Benjamin Netanyahu came out yesterday and said, yeah, we are not going to stop anytime soon.
00:10:23.000 Like, if you think that you're going to get a ceasefire here, no, the answer is no.
00:10:27.000 You don't get to fire thousands of rockets into Israel and then survive.
00:10:30.000 That's not something that you get to do.
00:10:34.000 Over 850 rockets have crossed into Israeli territory after being launched from Gaza.
00:10:38.000 By the way, how little does Hamas care about its own citizens?
00:10:40.000 When people say it's terrible for the Palestinians, that's true. 1.00
00:10:44.000 The Palestinians are not of concern to Hamas.
00:10:47.000 Hamas does not care. 0.94
00:10:48.000 200 of the rockets that they fired fell into Gaza.
00:10:52.000 They fired 200 rockets that landed on their own people.
00:10:54.000 They don't care.
00:10:58.000 So Defense Minister Benny Gantz said that the IDF, the Israeli Defense Forces, will continue striking Gaza until it can bring a complete and long-term peace during a visit to Ashkelon on Wednesday.
00:11:06.000 He said in the last few hours, the IDF has carried out a series of significant attacks.
00:11:10.000 We've attacked squads of commanders and significant Hamas infrastructure we'll continue to protect. 0.99
00:11:14.000 All residents of Israel.
00:11:15.000 We've attacked many hundreds of targets.
00:11:16.000 Towers are falling.
00:11:17.000 Factories are collapsing.
00:11:18.000 Tunnels are being destroyed.
00:11:19.000 Commanders are assassinated.
00:11:20.000 All the means and all the options are on the table.
00:11:22.000 There's a lot more activity in the bank.
00:11:24.000 So the IDF will continue to attack and bring a complete long-term peace. 0.70
00:11:27.000 Only when we achieve this goal can we talk about calm.
00:11:29.000 There is currently no end date.
00:11:30.000 We will not accept moral sermons from any organization or institution about our right and duty to protect Israeli citizens.
00:11:35.000 Again, Benny Gantz is opposition to Benjamin Netanyahu.
00:11:38.000 This is not about Netanyahu.
00:11:39.000 This is not about Likud.
00:11:40.000 Gantz is not a member of Likud.
00:11:42.000 There's widespread Israeli sentiment, as there would be in the United States, that if Democrat or Republican, there were hundreds of rockets falling on San Diego from Mexico, there'd be a widespread sentiment the United States government needs to go in and pacify the folks who are doing that.
00:11:54.000 Well, the same thing is happening in Israel right now.
00:11:56.000 To that end, Israel has knocked out several commanders of Hamas and Islamic Jihad.
00:12:03.000 They'll continue to do that.
00:12:05.000 And while we actually have video of what's been happening in the Gaza Strip.
00:12:08.000 So a few things, one, Hamas is one of the most evil groups on earth.
00:12:12.000 They fire rockets deliberately from civilian areas.
00:12:15.000 They deliberately fire rockets from civilian areas because they know that if Israel were to respond, Israel would have to kill civilians in order to stop the rocket fire.
00:12:23.000 And they know that Israel is loathe to do that because Israel is actually a moral state as opposed to Hamas, which is a deeply, deeply evil group. 0.85
00:12:30.000 Here is video of Hamas firing rockets from the middle of civilian areas.
00:12:34.000 These are civilian apartment buildings that are surrounding the firing sites for the Gaza Strip.
00:12:42.000 You can see, these are apartment buildings, right?
00:12:44.000 This is right in the middle of a populated area.
00:12:45.000 They're firing these rockets directly from the middle of streets in the Gaza Strip.
00:12:50.000 The goal here is that if Israel were to take out those batteries, then Israel would have to hit those civilian areas. 0.67
00:12:57.000 Hey, and by the way, a few other notes.
00:12:59.000 You'll notice that when these rockets are being fired, in the tapes, you will see that there are onlookers, and these onlookers are not are not just kind of watching this go on, they're shouting Allahu Akbar.
00:13:10.000 They're amokers who are shouting their celebration that these rockets are being fired on Israel.
00:13:15.000 Now, Israelis require that their government actually defend them, obviously, because any government should defend its citizens.
00:13:22.000 But you're not going to see Israelis out in the streets cheering as rockets or bombs fall on Hamas buildings.
00:13:29.000 Just as the United States.
00:13:30.000 There was no cheering in the streets when the United States was bombing the Taliban.
00:13:35.000 Okay, because that is something that you do more in sorrow than in anger, right?
00:13:39.000 Something you don't want to do it.
00:13:40.000 Except, apparently, if rockets are being fired on random Jews.
00:13:43.000 Remember, these are not rockets that are targeted at military sites in Israel.
00:13:47.000 These are rockets that are being randomly fired toward the most populated areas of Israel.
00:13:51.000 They don't care who they kill. 0.98
00:13:53.000 Israeli, Arab, doesn't matter. 1.00
00:13:54.000 Babies, doesn't matter. 1.00
00:13:55.000 They do not care.
00:13:57.000 They don't care.
00:13:58.000 It is that simple. 0.60
00:13:59.000 And here are the Almukers shouting Allahu Akbar as these rockets go off to presumably attempt to kill as many children and women and innocents and civilians as possible. 0.99
00:14:07.000 There's these sets of rockets being fired off and people celebrating and cheering.
00:14:24.000 What is it like?
00:14:25.000 But don't worry, there's moral equivalence according to the West.
00:14:28.000 Okay, so, in a second, we'll show you some more footage of what is going on over in Israel, and then we'll get to the insanity of a West that somehow declares moral equivalence here. 0.66
00:14:36.000 It is quite wild.
00:14:37.000 We'll get to that in just one moment.
00:14:38.000 First, Let's talk about a simple fact.

00:15:41.000 Alrighty, so.
00:15:43.000 Israel has this miraculous system called Iron Dome. 0.81
00:15:47.000 It's been able to shoot down the vast majority of these rockets that enter over civilian areas.
00:15:51.000 The footage is astonishing.
00:15:53.000 Here's some of the footage of rockets over Tel Aviv.
00:15:55.000 You can see in this footage the rockets that are that are flying over Tel Aviv and then you can see other anti-missiles essentially coming up from the ground and knocking.
00:16:04.000 It's a bullet hitting a bullet with like 90% efficacy.
00:16:07.000 It's unbelievable.
00:16:08.000 The efficiency is incredible.
00:16:09.000 It looks like something from Star Wars because it is.
00:16:11.000 In fact, there are Israelis who are still retaining their sense of humor who put the Star Wars theme music Over what Iron Dome has been doing here.
00:16:19.000 The goal here, of course, is to overwhelm Iron Dome by firing so many rockets simultaneously that the Iron Dome system is not capable of knocking out all the rockets at once.
00:16:27.000 But imagine this happening over a city where you live.
00:16:30.000 Imagine that there's just a bunch of rockets and all you can do is sit there and wait for the thing to fall on you or for Iron Dome to shoot it down.
00:16:36.000 And in some cases, obviously, it hasn't worked.
00:16:38.000 There's a direct impact, for example, on a school in Ashkelon.
00:16:41.000 See, here's the difference between the Israelis and the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, Hamas. 0.87
00:16:46.000 The Palestinian rulership in the Gaza Strip? 0.69
00:16:48.000 Hamas? 0.90
00:16:48.000 The difference is that the Israelis specifically avoid targeting schools. 0.90
00:16:55.000 The Hamas terrorists literally put their military bases in schools.
00:17:02.000 That is the difference.
00:17:04.000 This is a school that was hit directly by a rocket.
00:17:06.000 Thank God all the kids were not there.
00:17:08.000 Otherwise, presumably hundreds of kids would have been killed.
00:17:10.000 They were also firing at Ben Gurion Airport.
00:17:12.000 They were trying to kill as many people as possible and to shut down air travel to the state of Israel.
00:17:16.000 So this is actual footage from Ben-Gurion Airport.
00:17:19.000 You can see the rockets firing over Ben-Gurion Airport, and you can see them being shot down by the Iron Dome system.
00:17:26.000 Over in Halon, which is an outskirt of Tel Aviv, again, it's about 45 miles from the Gaza Strip, a bus was hit directly by rocket fire.
00:17:38.000 Apparently one person was killed in this particular attack.
00:17:41.000 You can see the bus flaming from the rocket fire.
00:17:44.000 Another Hamas rocket hit the Trans-Israel Oil Pipeline, which of course does no good to the citizens of the Gaza Strip because some of them actually get their power from this sort of thing.
00:17:56.000 And so it set the Trans-Israel Pipeline on fire.
00:17:58.000 And meanwhile, here's how it is.
00:18:00.000 So that's how Hamas treats this conflict, right?
00:18:02.000 Just shoot rockets everywhere, see if you can hit anything.
00:18:06.000 It's basically the game Battleship.
00:18:07.000 You just randomly just shoot things at people and hope that it hits somebody.
00:18:10.000 Okay, here is how Israel handles this stuff.
00:18:14.000 So, here is tape of a Palestinian security guard being called by the Israeli military and told, get everybody out of this building.
00:18:21.000 We know that Hamas uses this building, so we're knocking down the building. 0.95
00:18:24.000 That's literally what's happening here.
00:18:26.000 Israel calls minutes before they're about to hit a building.
00:18:28.000 They call whoever they can get and they say, get all the civilians out. 1.00
00:18:32.000 He's saying at least two to three hours?
00:18:36.000 No one should come close?
00:18:37.000 So I should go to the other building and not let anyone come close?
00:18:43.000 So first, one shot warning and then two missiles.
00:18:43.000 No problem, no problem.
00:18:48.000 I'm asking, you mean first you'll warn and then you'll hit the building?
00:18:50.000 I just want to make sure that there's no one inside.
00:19:01.000 OK, so this is a person talking to the Israeli military.
00:19:04.000 The Israeli military is literally giving up the element of surprise, which is the number one element in warfare, particularly when you're talking about terrorists who are embedded in the middle of civilian populations.
00:19:12.000 They're saying, OK, we'd rather not kill the terrorists who will then fire more rockets on us in order to get the civilians out of the way.
00:19:19.000 Okay, and then the propaganda that is printed by the media is that Israel is knocking down towers without any mention of this sort of stuff.
00:19:25.000 Okay, so here Hamas put out this video of Israel knocking down this apartment complex, right?
00:19:29.000 Hitting this apartment complex.
00:19:32.000 You know how they know?
00:19:34.000 Why do they know where to train the camera?
00:19:36.000 How do they know where to train the camera?
00:19:37.000 The answer is they know where to train the camera because Israel dropped a knock bomb on top of that. 0.93
00:19:41.000 A knock bomb is a bomb that is designed not to penetrate the top layer of the apartment complex.
00:19:46.000 They drop a bomb, it shakes the building, doesn't break the building, everybody gets out, and then they knock down the building.
00:19:52.000 So that is how Israel treats all of this. 0.64
00:19:54.000 Meanwhile, In what is actually the most devastating element of all of this, not the actual terror attacks from Hamas, which is somewhat expected. 0.60
00:20:02.000 The most devastating part of all of this is the situation in Lod.
00:20:05.000 So Israel has about 20% of its population is Arab, about 80% of its population is Jewish.
00:20:11.000 And typically in Israel, those populations don't live in close proximity with one another.
00:20:16.000 Typically you'll have sort of a Jewish city and then an Arab city that's right across the way, right?
00:20:19.000 That's fairly typical in Israel.
00:20:21.000 There are a couple cities that are an exception to this rule.
00:20:24.000 One of those cities is Lod.
00:20:25.000 Lod is considered sort of a model city in this way.
00:20:28.000 And it is kind of amazing.
00:20:29.000 I mean, last time I was in Israel, a couple of years ago, my cell phone broke.
00:20:32.000 I had to go to the nearest mall that had some sort of cell phone repair shop and that mall happened to be in Lod.
00:20:37.000 So I went there and Orthodox Jews walking around the same malls as Arabs and everybody getting along and basically that city is 70% Jewish, 30% Arab.
00:20:47.000 And everybody lives in pretty close quarters.
00:20:49.000 Well now, thanks to Hamas and Fatah ramping up the violence, there were riots in the city of Lod in which Arab citizens were going out and burning down synagogues.
00:20:58.000 Two separate synagogues were burned down, three Jewish schools were burned down, and a bunch of Jews were threatened in their own homes, requiring evacuation by the IDF.
00:21:06.000 And now a state of emergency has been declared in Lod, which again, was a city in which people were basically living together fine.
00:21:13.000 Now a state of emergency was declared in Lod with Defense Minister Benny Gantz, according to the Jerusalem Post, announcing the deployment of several border police units to help quell violence that saw the burning of three synagogues and dozens of cars.
00:21:23.000 At least two people were in serious condition from the clashes, one from rocks in Akko, which is another city.
00:21:28.000 That's actually where I got married.
00:21:29.000 It's another mixed Arab-Jewish city in northern Israel.
00:21:31.000 An 84-year-old man was seriously hurt when a restaurant was set on fire by rioters.
00:21:35.000 Some 25 residents of Ramla and Lod were arrested on Tuesday night.
00:21:38.000 According to a police spokesperson, 151 were arrested in total within the central northern district of Israel.
00:21:43.000 Lod Mayor Yair Revivo said we've lost control of the city and the streets.
00:21:48.000 Israel Police Chief Kobi Shabtai said, we've not seen this kind of violence since October 2000, which was the last Intifada.
00:21:55.000 Uri Buri is a popular Jewish-owned fish restaurant in Acre.
00:21:58.000 It had been set ablaze as well.
00:22:00.000 It's in Acre.
00:22:01.000 It had been set ablaze in Jaffa.
00:22:03.000 There's been violence.
00:22:04.000 So internecine racial violence has now been taking place, prompted presumably, not presumably, realistically by Arab citizens who are in solidarity with Hamas and with Fatah. 0.57
00:22:16.000 Okay, all of this is disastrous.
00:22:18.000 And so the question becomes, why exactly is all this happening right now?
00:22:21.000 Why is all this happening right now?
00:22:22.000 We'll get to the answer to that in just one second.
00:22:24.000 First, let us talk about the fact that if you own assets, the reality is that your most valuable asset is probably your home title.
00:22:32.000 Not your home, right?
00:22:33.000 Nobody's gonna come and steal your home.
00:22:34.000 But they can steal the value inherent in your home title.
00:22:36.000 If you're on Facebook, the big breach is here.
00:22:38.000 Facebook had 500 million accounts exposed to cyber thieves.
00:22:41.000 According to a retired FBI cybercrime expert, everything thieves that need to take over as the new owner of your home was leaked.
00:22:46.000 Name, address, personal information, it's out.
00:22:49.000 A thief can forge your signature on a quitclaim deed saying you sold your home to him and then he can start taking out credit against your home and leave you in debt or even have you evicted.
00:22:56.000 Instead, just go to HomeTitleLock and make sure that your home's title is locked up.
00:23:01.000 HomeTitleLock.
00:23:02.000 Go to HomeTitleLock.com right now.

00:23:09.000 Go to HomeTitleLock.com.
00:23:11.000 Use promo code RADIO.
00:23:12.000 That is HomeTitleLock.com.
00:23:14.000 Promo code RADIO.
00:23:15.000 You know, you lock your safe at night.
00:23:16.000 You make sure that you don't leave your jewelry out.
00:23:18.000 All your valuables, you make sure that you protect them.
00:23:20.000 Why wouldn't you protect your most valuable asset, your home title?
00:23:22.000 Go check out hometitlelock.com right now.
00:23:24.000 Use promo code RADIO and get 30 free days of protection during this high-risk breach.
00:23:29.000 Alrighty, so why is all of this happening right now?
00:23:33.000 The answer is all of this is happening right now because the Biden administration came into power and because Mahmoud Abbas decided that he was going to cancel elections.
00:23:40.000 That's why.
00:23:40.000 The Biden administration came into power.
00:23:42.000 They decided they were going to make overtures to the Iranian regime.
00:23:44.000 They were going to make concessions to the Iranian regime.
00:23:46.000 They were going to shame the Saudis. 0.99
00:23:48.000 They were going to try and cut off relations, essentially, with the Saudis.
00:23:51.000 They were going to try and pressure Arab states not to warm up their peace with Israel.
00:23:56.000 They're going to try and broker some sort of agreement between Israel and the Palestinian Authority by pressuring Israel.
00:24:01.000 They're going right back to the same failed model that has been tried for some 30 years in the United States.
00:24:05.000 Pressure our ally, not isolate our enemies.
00:24:08.000 The reality is Hamas hates America.
00:24:11.000 Hates America. 0.98
00:24:12.000 Palestinian Islamic Jihad hates America. 0.99
00:24:14.000 Palestinian Authority hates America. 0.97
00:24:16.000 These are people who do not like the United States.
00:24:20.000 Hamas is explicitly backed by the Iranian regime.
00:24:22.000 You wonder how they got all this technology?
00:24:23.000 Israel's been kind of stunned by the ability of Hamas to fire these long-range rockets.
00:24:28.000 Why?
00:24:28.000 Because Iran has been shipping that technology through the Gaza Strip.
00:24:33.000 And the United States is standing right there trying to reinstate good relations with an Iranian regime that openly declares death to America and death to Israel. 0.82
00:24:42.000 What America does makes a difference.
00:24:43.000 The United States basically isolated the Palestinian Authority.
00:24:46.000 They said, listen, if you guys want to make peace, anytime you want to, you can.
00:24:50.000 Otherwise, all the Arab states, they're going to just recognize that you are not top priority. 0.97
00:24:54.000 They're going to make peace with Israel in order to counter the rising threat of Iran. 0.98
00:24:58.000 Until you get a bunch of peace deals.
00:25:00.000 And then the Biden regime came in and they decided, you know what?
00:25:04.000 We don't care about those peace deals. 0.99
00:25:05.000 What we want to do is we want to revivify this idiotic notion that Iran is going to be a regional force for stability, which is insane. 0.99
00:25:12.000 It was pushed by Barack Obama. 0.99
00:25:14.000 Joe Biden has re-embraced it. 1.00
00:25:15.000 And this has led to the stupidity of morons like David Frum suggesting, well, you know, what happens to all those Kushner Trump people bragging about peace? 1.00
00:25:21.000 The answer is they actually achieve peace. 1.00
00:25:23.000 Within the first four months, you have achieved war. 0.56
00:25:25.000 Within the first four months, Joe Biden has given all the green lights to all of the conditions for a new intifada.
00:25:33.000 It's the worst conflict in this region since 2006.
00:25:35.000 That is because of Joe Biden.
00:25:39.000 The last time we had this sort of conflict was 2014.
00:25:40.000 That was under Barack Obama.
00:25:42.000 There was quiet in the region for four years.
00:25:45.000 You know why that was?
00:25:46.000 Because when America sides with its allies, there is no conflict.
00:25:50.000 When America does not side with its allies, there is conflict.
00:25:54.000 Every time concessions are made to terrorists, they immediately are emboldened and proceed to engage in this sort of activity.
00:26:01.000 And so it does make a difference that the West has decided to take attack of moral equivalence along these lines.
00:26:08.000 The amazing part of all of this, truly, is that this moral equivalence is even being drawn.
00:26:13.000 I mean, it just demonstrates the moral blindness of so many people.
00:26:16.000 Here's Jen Psaki from the White House drawing moral equivalence.
00:26:21.000 The President's support for Israel's security, for its legitimate right to defend itself, and its people is fundamental and will never waver.
00:26:28.000 We condemn ongoing rocket attacks by Hamas and other terrorist groups, including against Jerusalem.
00:26:33.000 We also stand against extremism that has inflicted violence on both communities.
00:26:38.000 We stand- that last part is the amazing part.
00:26:40.000 We stand against extremism that has inflicted violence on both communities.
00:26:44.000 Um, excuse me.
00:26:45.000 Right now, that first statement is the one that's supposed to matter.
00:26:49.000 The hell are you talking about?
00:26:50.000 Extremism that has inflicted vi- You have thousands of rockets being fired into civilian areas right now.
00:26:57.000 Israel has a right to defend itself.
00:26:59.000 The first part of the statement's fine.
00:27:00.000 The last part, where she tries to come back around and then do the cycle of violence routine, is just nonsense.
00:27:05.000 Recognize that, really, what this started with was a bunch of TikTok videos of Palestinians beating the living hell out of Jews in Jerusalem, fomented by Fatah, because Fatah wanted to distract from the fact that he just canceled elections.
00:27:15.000 Meanwhile, Hamas's leader, Ismail Khanei, who lives over in Qatar because he is scared of living in the Gaza Strip.
00:27:21.000 He's afraid that Israel will knock him out.
00:27:22.000 He's been tweeting out the bombing of Tel Aviv and the oil pipeline facility between Ashkelon and Eilat.
00:27:27.000 God is great and glory is to God alone.
00:27:30.000 He also tweeted out, Okay, by the way, this is the leader of Hamas.
00:27:33.000 He's the leader of Hamas.
00:27:34.000 Moral equivalence.
00:27:34.000 the servants of those whom I know from here and there, and you know where exactly, are very angry, and humiliation breaks them, and oppression pervades them, because you, oh heroes, have broken their thorns and destroyed the Zionists while hiding in shelters below the earth, mourning for their persecution which went in vain." Okay, by the way, this is the leader of Hamas.
00:27:50.000 He's the leader of Hamas. Moral equivalence. Unreal. But don't worry. 0.91
00:27:57.000 And by the way, did Twitter ban Ismail Khamenei?
00:27:59.000 Nope, he's still there.
00:28:00.000 It'll ban Trump, but not somebody who's openly celebrating terrorism.
00:28:04.000 How about Ayatollah Khamenei?
00:28:05.000 These are the people that the Biden administration is trying to make concessions to, the Iranian regime.
00:28:09.000 He tweeted out, Palestinians are awake and determined.
00:28:11.000 They must continue this path. 0.70
00:28:14.000 One can only talk with the language of power with these criminals.
00:28:17.000 They must increase their strength, stand strong, confront the enemy, and force them to stop their crimes.
00:28:21.000 Hashtag Free Palestine.
00:28:23.000 So just to get this straight, Facebook and Twitter banned Trump, but they won't ban this piece of human debris.
00:28:31.000 Pretty incredible stuff.
00:28:33.000 The good news is that the radical left in the United States, which is increasingly the mainstream left in the United States, is openly siding with the bad guys here.
00:28:40.000 So Alexander Ocasio-Cortez is very angry with Andrew Yang.
00:28:42.000 Andrew Yang is running for mayor of New York.
00:28:44.000 He looks likely to win, which is a good thing.
00:28:46.000 Andrew Yang had tweeted out his support for Israel, so she got mad.
00:28:50.000 She then tweeted out, Okay, so a few things that are just open lies.
00:29:01.000 Al-Aqsa was not attacked.
00:29:06.000 The only people who attacked Al-Aqsa are members of Hamas and Fatah, who literally took over the building, brought rocks in from the surrounding Temple Mount and fireworks, and proceeded to fling them at Israeli soldiers and build barricades so as to do violence in the middle of Ramadan.
00:29:21.000 There is no obscurity about this.
00:29:23.000 There is no opacity about this.
00:29:25.000 It is perfectly clear what happened there.
00:29:26.000 There's video.
00:29:27.000 I showed it here.
00:29:28.000 So she's just lying.
00:29:31.000 As far as a chest-thumping statement of support for a strike killing nine children, Israel has been attempting to kill Hamas members. 0.99
00:29:37.000 Hamas members deliberately hide themselves behind children, knowing that morons like AOC will then blame Israel for defending itself rather than the Hamas people who are hiding behind children. 1.00
00:29:48.000 What a moral cretin she is. 1.00
00:29:50.000 My goodness. 1.00
00:29:51.000 Bernie Sanders, similarly a moral cretin. 0.99
00:29:53.000 He tweeted out, The F is he talking about? 0.99
00:29:54.000 by the growing conflict in Israel and Palestine.
00:29:56.000 Once again, we are seeing how the irresponsible actions of government-allied right-wing extremists in Jerusalem can escalate quickly into devastating war.
00:30:02.000 The F is he talking about? He's just making things up right now.
00:30:05.000 Israeli children should not have to spend the night scared in bomb shelters, as many are doing tonight.
00:30:10.000 Well, that's true.
00:30:12.000 Rockets should not be fired.
00:30:13.000 Palestinian children should not have to grow up under the constant violence and oppression of occupation, as so many do and have done.
00:30:17.000 Gaza is ruled by Hamas.
00:30:19.000 Israel does not rule the Gaza Strip.
00:30:21.000 The Palestinian Authority rules Judea and Samaria.
00:30:24.000 It is not ruled by Israel.
00:30:26.000 Israel just does not allow people to ship weapons in and out, and controls its own border.
00:30:31.000 That's all.
00:30:32.000 Bernie Sanders then continues, the United States must call for an immediate ceasefire and an end to provocative and illegal settlement activity.
00:30:37.000 This is not about settlements. 0.98
00:30:38.000 Are you insane? 1.00
00:30:39.000 The hell is this about settlements? 1.00
00:30:41.000 They're firing on Ashkelon.
00:30:42.000 They're firing on Ashdod.
00:30:43.000 They're chanting bomb, bomb Tel Aviv on the Temple Mount.
00:30:47.000 We must also recommit to working with Israelis and Palestinians to finally end this conflict.
00:30:51.000 What a joke he is.
00:30:52.000 What an absolute Soviet... He's just disgusting. 1.00
00:30:59.000 Truly. 0.94
00:31:01.000 The number of people on the radical left who have been mainstreamed in the Democratic Party is truly an astonishing, astonishing thing.
00:31:05.000 And the media will continue to allow lies to be promulgated.
00:31:09.000 The same media that will tell you that fake news is really, really dangerous, they'll just allow lies to be promulgated.
00:31:14.000 So they'll have on an MSNBC guest, they had a Palestinian on MSNBC, not sure the name of this guest, and he was very angry that anybody would be upset with Hamas.
00:31:22.000 He says, you know, the US has waged more wars than there are Hamas members. 0.75
00:31:26.000 Um, excuse me?
00:31:29.000 The United States has waged more wars than there are Hamas members. 0.83
00:31:34.000 I don't wait for the United States to tell me what constitutes as self-defense and what not constitutes as self-defense.
00:31:42.000 That is not where my moral compass stems from.
00:31:45.000 I don't think the United States is in position, given all of the genocides and wars it's partaking in, to say something about who has a right to self-defense.
00:31:55.000 He sounds exactly like Ilhan Omar.
00:31:57.000 He sounds exactly like Rashida Tlaib.
00:31:58.000 He sounds exactly like AOC.
00:32:00.000 He sounds like Bernie Sanders, right?
00:32:01.000 The international terrorist movement uses the talking points of the left on a routine basis, right?
00:32:07.000 America doesn't have any moral credibility to call against rocket fire indiscriminately aimed at civilians because, after all, you guys are really bad.
00:32:14.000 It's pretty incredible.
00:32:16.000 And then, of course, you have Trevor Noah, who just tells open lies.
00:32:18.000 Trevor Noah actively defended Hamas last night on his show.
00:32:22.000 If you start from Israel fired rockets into Gaza, well, then Israel is the bad guy because they're bombing Gaza.
00:32:30.000 But then you take a step back in time, you go, well, Hamas fired rockets at Israel.
00:32:34.000 Well, then Hamas is the bad guy. 0.91
00:32:37.000 But then you take a step back and you go, but the Israeli police, they went in and started beating people up in a mosque during Ramadan, the most holy time in the Muslim calendar.
00:32:49.000 Well, then Israel is the bad guy. 0.93
00:32:51.000 Okay, well, except for you're lying.
00:32:53.000 That didn't happen.
00:32:56.000 Again, the number of lies that have to be told in order to reach the point of moral equivalence between a state that seeks to defend its citizens, including Israeli Arabs, who, by the way, were again murdered by Hamas last night.
00:33:05.000 Between a state that has a 20% tariff population, that attempts to warn people before they kill terrorists, and a group of people who openly declare that they want to wipe every Jew off the face of the earth, and fire thousands of rockets indiscriminately into civilian centers. 0.72
00:33:20.000 You know the mental gymnastics that you have to do in order to get there?
00:33:22.000 The moral pretzeling you have to do?
00:33:25.000 These folks morally make Cirque du Soleil look like nothing.
00:33:28.000 It's unreal.
00:33:29.000 The moral flexibility that you have to have, at a certain point, the rubber band has to break here.
00:33:34.000 It's pretty insane.
00:33:35.000 Alrighty, we're gonna get to the inflation, which is cropping up, plus more lies from the CDC first.
00:33:41.000 I'm sure you've noticed our country is feeling less and less free.
00:33:43.000 Lockdown extensions and cancel culture.
00:33:45.000 Everything we do and consume is weaponized.
00:33:47.000 Every single thing.
00:33:48.000 From the education we receive, to the movies we watch, to the shoes we wear on our feet.
00:33:52.000 You're not alone in noticing this.
00:33:53.000 You may have noticed that your boss is telling you what to think.
00:33:55.000 Or training you in diversity so that you feel bad about the color of your skin.
00:33:59.000 You may have noticed that your kids are being subjected to indoctrination at their school.
00:34:03.000 You may have noticed that the media is just lying to you.
00:34:05.000 Well, I wrote an entire book about the institutional takeover of the United States and how to fight back against it.
00:34:09.000 It's called The Authoritarian Moment.
00:34:12.000 In it, I give some background on how we got here, how each individual institution in American life, from the scientific community all the way to Hollywood, was taken over and How we fight back.
00:34:21.000 That's the most important part because you have to understand how we got here in order to reverse the process.
00:34:25.000 So, if you want to preserve your individual rights, if you want to organize a taking back of our institutions, go check out my book today.
00:34:32.000 The Authoritarian Moment is available for pre-order at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, any other major bookseller.
00:34:37.000 I think it's deeply important stuff.
00:34:39.000 I think it's a really important book.
00:34:40.000 I wrote it at white heat.
00:34:41.000 I mean, some books are hard to write.
00:34:42.000 This one, I wrote it super fast because I wanted to get it out to you as fast as possible.
00:34:46.000 The Authoritarian Moment, available for pre-order right now at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or any other major bookseller.
00:34:51.000 you're listening to the largest, fastest growing conservative podcast and radio show in the nation.
00:34:55.000 All righty, so meanwhile, inflation is cropping up in the United States.
00:34:59.000 All righty, so meanwhile, inflation is cropping up in the United States.
00:35:03.000 Amazing how Joe Biden has somehow prompted an Intifada, so unrest in the Middle East, a more powerful Iran. 1.00
00:35:10.000 He has prompted inflation and gas lines.
00:35:13.000 We're back to Jimmy Carter.
00:35:15.000 This is great.
00:35:16.000 Really excellent, excellent stuff.
00:35:17.000 I mean, they're about the same age, so it makes some sense.
00:35:20.000 Inflation is back.
00:35:22.000 According to Yahoo News, U.S.
00:35:25.000 inflation is expected to jump 3.6% in April alone, economists forecast.
00:35:30.000 U.S.
00:35:31.000 consumer prices are expected to have risen by 3.6% in April over their level a year ago, a prospect already spooking markets and could fuel concern that inflationary pressures are setting in.
00:35:40.000 According to a consensus forecast assembled by Refinitiv, the Bureau of Labor Statistics will on Wednesday report that its consumer price index rose from 2.6% in March to 3.6% last month compared with the same month in 2020.
00:35:52.000 Stripping out food and energy costs, the CPI is expected to rise from 1.6% in March to 2.3% in April on an annual basis.
00:36:01.000 And the truth is that it is worse than that.
00:36:04.000 According to the Consumer Price Index Summary from the BLS, the index for all items less food and energy rose 0.9% in April, its largest monthly increase since April 1982.
00:36:18.000 We have the biggest inflationary increase in 40 years happening right now.
00:36:24.000 Again, this is according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
00:36:25.000 It's a government source.
00:36:27.000 Nearly all major component indices increased in April, along with the index for used cars and trucks, the indices for shelter, airline fares, recreation, motor vehicle insurance, and household furnishings and operations were among the indices with a large impact on the overall increase.
00:36:39.000 The all items index rose 4.2% for the 12 months ending in April, a larger increase than the 2.6% increase for the period ending March.
00:36:47.000 Similarly, the index for all items less food and energy rose 3.0% over the last 12 months, a larger increase than the 1.6% rise over the 12-month period ending in March.
00:36:56.000 So in other words, we have now basically doubled the inflation rate over the course of the last month or so.
00:37:02.000 The energy index rose 25.1% over the last 12 months.
00:37:05.000 The food index increased 2.4%.
00:37:08.000 So, I mean, unbelievable levels of inflation setting in almost immediately, despite the fact that you've got the entire Biden administration saying there's no problem to see here.
00:37:16.000 Here's Jen Psaki at the White House literally yesterday saying any inflation will be transitory.
00:37:21.000 Of course, we take the possibility of inflation quite seriously.
00:37:25.000 As actions that have been taken to date or proposals that have been made, most economic analysts believe that it will have a temporary or transitory impact.
00:37:34.000 But in terms of analysis on current events, I would point you to the Federal Reserve.
00:37:38.000 Okay, and quick note.
00:37:40.000 Where is Joe Biden?
00:37:41.000 He's completely missing in action.
00:37:43.000 You got a conflict in the Middle East.
00:37:44.000 You have a massive inflation hitting.
00:37:46.000 You have gas shortages that have basically knocked out half the gas stations on the East Coast.
00:37:51.000 And Joe Biden is nowhere.
00:37:52.000 He's watching Matlock.
00:37:54.000 Well done, everybody.
00:37:55.000 But at least there are no mean tweets.
00:37:57.000 At least you don't have any mean tweets.
00:37:58.000 That's really, you know, important stuff.
00:37:59.000 No mean tweets.
00:38:00.000 Well, the good news is that every crisis is an opportunity.
00:38:03.000 Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm yesterday, she said the good news is that if we're going to have these gas shortages, remember, we've had a giant pipeline, a colonial pipeline that was hacked.
00:38:11.000 So that meant that that basically gas went down most of this week in terms of its supply all over the southeast coast and all the way up into New Jersey.
00:38:22.000 Energy Secretary Granholm says, well, you know, the good news is at least this will push us toward a Green New Deal.
00:38:27.000 You know, if you drive an electric car, this would not be affecting you, clearly.
00:38:31.000 The broader issue is a very important issue.
00:38:34.000 It's an issue for the President's priority in the American Jobs Plan, the issue of investing in a transmission grid, for example, so that you don't have the cyber issues associated with it.
00:38:46.000 So there's a lot of broader questions in this, and we hope that we'll be able to see that investment in infrastructure that will facilitate clean and renewable energy.
00:38:57.000 I mean, amazing.
00:38:58.000 She's really, she's smiling about it.
00:38:59.000 Look at her.
00:38:59.000 She's like, she's gleeful about this.
00:39:01.000 This is going to facilitate Green New Deal stuff. 0.62
00:39:03.000 I mean, sure, it's costing you like a fortune at the pump.
00:39:05.000 Sure, you can't even get gas.
00:39:07.000 But everything is going great because it facilitates the agenda.
00:39:10.000 Crisis is always an opportunity for these people.
00:39:12.000 It's always an opportunity for these people.
00:39:14.000 And meanwhile, on COVID, the unemployment rate continues to be artificially high.
00:39:18.000 We all know why that is.
00:39:19.000 It's because the Biden administration is paying people to stay home.
00:39:22.000 So, last night, the chief of Chipotle, the restaurant officer, was on CNN explaining that the reason we can't get any employees is because you keep paying people to stay home.
00:39:32.000 A half dozen states now have announced that they're going to end those benefits before they expire.
00:39:38.000 Is that the right move?
00:39:41.000 I certainly believe so.
00:39:42.000 I think it encourages folks to get back to work.
00:39:44.000 There are a number of jobs available across all industry today.
00:39:47.000 And for us to continue to grow the economy here in the U.S., we've got to have people ready And willing to engage, get back to work and continue to drive the economy.
00:39:55.000 the economy.
00:39:56.000 Okay, it is perfectly true that the Biden administration is driving people out of the workforce.
00:40:01.000 But the good news is that we have a president who just is fighting the teleprompter.
00:40:03.000 He's not fighting inflation.
00:40:04.000 He's not fighting unemployment.
00:40:05.000 He's certainly not fighting for our allies around the world, ranging from Taiwan to Israel.
00:40:09.000 But he's definitely fighting the teleprompter.
00:40:10.000 He is locked in a death match with the teleprompter.
00:40:14.000 And help us get there.
00:40:15.000 We've added two new tools.
00:40:17.000 One, Americans can go to vaccines.gov or they can text their zip code to three, excuse me, misspoke, their zip code, text it to four three A829.
00:40:37.000 A senile old codger out there doing nothing for a living except pushing radicalism and fostering instability all around the globe.
00:40:43.000 Really, really well done.
00:40:43.000 Well, the good news is we have experts in charge.
00:40:45.000 Like for example, we have CDC chief, Rochelle Walensky.
00:40:48.000 So she should have been fired long ago. 0.95
00:40:49.000 You remember just a few weeks ago, she said she had a feeling of doom, an interior, an inner feeling of doom.
00:40:54.000 We're all going to die, unless we got vaccinated three times and also wore a triple mask and hopefully a bag over our head, and we like a plastic bag.
00:41:04.000 And then we took some duct tape, wrapped it around our neck.
00:41:05.000 You wouldn't die of COVID if you did that.
00:41:07.000 100% guaranteed. 0.94
00:41:08.000 Well, here she was yesterday, CDC Chief Walensky, saying she told her 16-year-old son that he can't go to summer camp this year, which is asinine.
00:41:18.000 Number one, the vaccine's already been approved for 16-year-olds.
00:41:21.000 Number two, He's 16.
00:41:23.000 He's not going to die from COVID.
00:41:25.000 Number three, he is outdoors. 0.82
00:41:27.000 The hell are you talking about?
00:41:29.000 And these tool bags are supposed to represent the science? 0.91
00:41:32.000 The science!
00:41:33.000 Here's Rochelle Walensky being completely ascientific but very angry about it. 0.98
00:41:38.000 I have a 16-year-old.
00:41:40.000 Every day, every year, he comes home from camp and he writes the number of days until he returns to camp the next year.
00:41:46.000 This year, it got to zero and I told him he wasn't going.
00:41:50.000 I want our kids back in camp.
00:41:53.000 We now have 38,000 new infections on average per day.
00:41:58.000 Last May 11th, it was 24,000 and we sent a lot of kids home and camps were closed.
00:42:04.000 The camp guidance is intended to get our kids to camp and allow them to stay there. 0.87
00:42:09.000 Okay, this is just ridiculous.
00:42:10.000 Okay, she just compared the stats from this year to last year.
00:42:13.000 Do you remember this time last year?
00:42:15.000 We didn't have the tests available.
00:42:17.000 The number of tests that we were tranching out was like one quarter, one fifth of what we are tranching out right now.
00:42:22.000 It was much, much lower. 0.90
00:42:24.000 If you're comparing the infection rates in May of 2020 to the infection rates in May of 2021, you're out of your damned mind based on the stats that she is citing right there. 0.89
00:42:33.000 Okay, but again, she's not representing the science. 0.94
00:42:35.000 She's just representing politics. 1.00
00:42:37.000 This is all politics.
00:42:38.000 Susan Collins, who is certainly no rabid right-winger, accused the CDC of using faulty data in its recent mask guidance for the outdoors.
00:42:43.000 The agency announced last month that less than 10% of transmission was occurring outdoors, except that that was wildly misleading, according to the New York Times.
00:42:52.000 According to the New York Times, when the CDC released new guidelines last month for mask wearing, it announced that less than 10% of COVID-19 transmission was occurring outdoors.
00:43:00.000 Media organizations repeated the stat.
00:43:02.000 It quickly became a standard description of the frequency of outdoor transmission.
00:43:05.000 But that number is almost certainly misleading.
00:43:07.000 It appears to be based partly on a misclassification of some COVID transmission that actually took place in enclosed spaces.
00:43:13.000 An even bigger issue is the extreme caution of CDC officials, who picked a benchmark 10% so high that nobody could reasonably dispute it.
00:43:20.000 Dr. Mujcevic, a virologist at the University of St.
00:43:24.000 Andrews, said the benchmark appears to be a huge exaggeration.
00:43:27.000 In truth, the share of transmission that has occurred outdoors seems to be below 1% and maybe 0.1%.
00:43:31.000 0.1%.
00:43:31.000 Do you understand the difference between 0.1% and 10%?
00:43:33.000 1% 0.1% Do you understand?
00:43:39.000 The difference between 0.1% and 10% Ok, that means that you are off by a factor of 1000 Right?
00:43:49.000 Correct?
00:43:50.000 Like, what in the world? 0.75
00:43:51.000 What in the actual hell? 0.72
00:43:54.000 Like, hold on one second. 0.55
00:43:55.000 10 divided by 0.1.
00:43:56.000 10 divided by 0.1.
00:43:59.000 Just wanna make sure I got the numbers right.
00:44:01.000 You're off by a factor of 100 here.
00:44:03.000 You're off by a factor of 100.
00:44:05.000 They said that under 10%.
00:44:07.000 Okay, that's like saying that Under 1 million airplanes fall out of the sky every year.
00:44:13.000 That's true!
00:44:14.000 Under a million airplanes fall out of the sky every year.
00:44:15.000 The answer is much closer to zero.
00:44:17.000 Okay, so the CDC just lied with stats.
00:44:19.000 That's how you lie with statistics.
00:44:22.000 As the New York Times says, saying that less than 10% of COVID transmission occurs outdoors is akin to saying that sharks attack fewer than 20,000 swimmers a year.
00:44:29.000 The actual worldwide number is around 150.
00:44:30.000 It's both true and deceiving.
00:44:32.000 This isn't just a gotcha math issue.
00:44:34.000 It's an example of how the CDC is struggling to communicate effectively.
00:44:37.000 Or, alternatively, they are communicating effectively.
00:44:39.000 They're just communicating lies.
00:44:40.000 The lie they are communicating is that everything is crisis mode.
00:44:43.000 You gotta have kids, wear masks at camp, outdoors in 90 degree heat.
00:44:47.000 We have to pretend that outdoor transmission is going to be widespread.
00:44:50.000 We have to pretend, like Walensky just lied there, that transmission levels are at the same rate they were in May of last year.
00:44:56.000 All of this is insane.
00:44:57.000 Okay, but this is what is being pushed by this administration.
00:45:01.000 Lies that lead to economic uncertainty. 0.93
00:45:04.000 Lies that lead to inflation. 0.97
00:45:05.000 Policies that lead to worse outcomes for Americans.
00:45:08.000 Policies that lead to more conflagrations around the globe.
00:45:11.000 It's incredible.
00:45:12.000 This guy, this administration, was supposed to return to normalcy.
00:45:16.000 I'm waiting to feel the normal.
00:45:16.000 Are you feeling the normal yet?
00:45:18.000 This should be a period of optimism.
00:45:19.000 We were told this was going to be the booming 20s, not the stagflation 70s.
00:45:23.000 Instead, we're getting the 70s.
00:45:23.000 We're gonna get oil embargoes.
00:45:26.000 I mean, like, this is ridiculous.
00:45:27.000 We're getting gas lines. 0.66
00:45:28.000 We're getting inflation.
00:45:29.000 We're getting stagflation.
00:45:31.000 And we're getting all of this because of bad policy.
00:45:34.000 Policy makes a difference.
00:45:35.000 It makes a large difference.
00:45:37.000 And I know that everybody was very up in arms about the stuff that Trump said.
00:45:40.000 I hated a lot of it, too.
00:45:42.000 But guess what? 0.99
00:45:42.000 At the end of the day, the policy implemented by the White House makes a lot more difference in American lives than whatever dumb crap people put on Twitter. 0.99
00:45:49.000 Hey, but unfortunately, we live in a world in which we are supposed to pretend that the crap people say on Twitter is of significantly more importance than what actually happens on the ground. 0.97
00:45:57.000 And the people paying the price for that right now are you, waiting in line for gas, and you, at the grocery store, now having to pay twice what you were gonna pay, and you, yes you, Israelis living in bunkers under your cities right now. 0.94
