00:01:31.000 Alrighty, so over the weekend, Joe Biden's dreams died.
00:01:35.000 So you have to get the world's tiniest violin out for the world's most feeble president.
00:01:39.000 The president of the United States had been hoping that he would be able to follow the Bernie Sanders path toward glory.
00:01:44.000 And it was always politically bewildering.
00:01:46.000 He didn't have the support for this.
00:01:48.000 There are 50 votes in the Senate from the right.
00:01:51.000 There are 50 votes in the Senate that are Democratic.
00:01:54.000 And there are at least two of those votes that are not really of the hard left.
00:01:57.000 Because Kyrsten Sinema from Arizona is in a very purple state.
00:02:01.000 She barely won her last race.
00:02:02.000 And Joe Manchin is from a state that is redder than red, a state that Donald Trump won by a 40 point margin.
00:02:07.000 And so the notion that Joe Biden was going to be able to, with that sort of majority, like 50 plus Kamala Harris as the tiebreaker, ram through a Bernie Sanders agenda was completely delusional.
00:02:17.000 And it is absolutely bewildering as to why Joe Biden ever thought that this was going to happen.
00:02:21.000 This is the part that's totally crazy to me.
00:02:22.000 I do not understand for the life of me.
00:02:25.000 Why Joe Biden thought that he could shift from the quote-unquote moderate he was supposed to be into an FDR LBJ type and nobody would notice and that all of the people in the center would just go right along with it.
00:02:36.000 You know, how far did Joe Biden shift?
00:02:38.000 He went from being the guy who defeated Bernie Sanders because the entire Democratic Party base mobilized against Bernie Sanders to the guy mirroring Bernie Sanders' priorities.
00:02:47.000 You know, I just noticed the other day.
00:02:49.000 So the Time 100 had Joe Biden on it, right?
00:02:51.000 You know who wrote Joe Biden's piece for the Time 100?
00:02:54.000 Bernie!
00:02:56.000 It was Bernie who's writing Joe Biden's piece, which is amazing.
00:02:58.000 I mean, it really is.
00:03:00.000 It's the George W. Bush had been elected and then the most right wing senator in the United States had written a piece about how George W. Bush was mirroring all of his priorities.
00:03:10.000 Bernie Sanders is a radical kook.
00:03:12.000 Bernie Sanders is a socialistic idiot.
00:03:14.000 Bernie Sanders is a full-scale commie, okay?
00:03:16.000 And Bernie Sanders, despite his protestations that he likes Scandinavia, not the USSR, Bernie Sanders is the guy pushing the most radical agenda in the Senate, and he's the one writing Joe Biden's Time 100 profile this year.
00:03:28.000 And here is what Bernie Sanders wrote, quote, Biden's bold American Rescue Plan created a strong vaccine program that will save tens of thousands of lives, alleviate hunger and homelessness, reduce the child poverty rate by more than half, help revitalize the economy.
00:03:40.000 Now, through two unprecedented pieces of legislation, the infrastructure bill and the budget resolution, he's leading the effort to create millions of good-paying jobs, etc., etc.
00:03:48.000 I look forward to working with President Biden on these transformative efforts.
00:03:51.000 But here's the thing.
00:03:52.000 No one was going to do this.
00:03:54.000 Particularly not Joe Manchin.
00:03:56.000 And Joe Manchin was never hiding the ball.
00:03:59.000 He was never hiding the ball.
00:04:00.000 Back in July, Joe Manchin made Chuck Schumer, the Senate Majority Leader, sign a letter.
00:04:05.000 That letter listed his actual priorities.
00:04:07.000 Okay, he was not hiding the ball.
00:04:10.000 He said that any revenue exceeding $1.5 trillion would be used for deficit reduction.
00:04:14.000 The corporate tax rate would not rise above 25%.
00:04:16.000 The corporate domestic minimum tax would be 15%.
00:04:20.000 He said that the only bill that he would sign onto would be a $1.5 trillion top-line bill without budget gimmicks.
00:04:29.000 He said that there would be spending on innovation, not elimination with regard to climate change.
00:04:32.000 That is not what Joe Biden was proposing.
00:04:34.000 He suggested there would be targeted spending caps on existing programs, no additional handouts or transfer payments.
00:04:41.000 So there's tons of stuff that he forced Chuck Schumer to sign on to.
00:04:44.000 And then everybody in the media acts surprised that Joe Manchin sucked by the deal that he signed with Chuck Schumer.
00:04:52.000 So over the weekend, Joe Manchin announced to much fanfare that he was a no on this thing.
00:04:56.000 It was on Fox News, and of course he was a no.
00:04:59.000 He's been a no for months on this thing.
00:05:00.000 He has no political incentive to sign on with a president who's currently riding at 41% in the approval ratings.
00:05:06.000 And in Joe Manchin's home state, Joe Biden is running in the negatives.
00:05:10.000 I mean, like, there are people who have not yet been born in West Virginia who say they don't like Joe Biden at this point.
00:05:15.000 So here is Joe Manchin saying what anybody who watched politics knew for a while, which is that this bill was never going anywhere.
00:05:22.000 When you have these things coming at you the way they are right now, I've always said this, Brett.
00:05:28.000 If I can't go home and explain it to the people of West Virginia, I can't vote for it.
00:05:33.000 And I cannot vote to continue with this piece of legislation.
00:05:37.000 I just can't.
00:05:38.000 I've tried everything humanly possible.
00:05:40.000 I can't get there.
00:05:41.000 You're done.
00:05:42.000 This is a no.
00:05:47.000 OK, and and the entire media are just bewildered.
00:05:52.000 How could this have happened?
00:05:53.000 It must have been that there was some sort of break in the relationship between Joe Manchin and Joe Biden.
00:05:59.000 No, there was no break in the relationship.
00:06:01.000 The relationship never really existed.
00:06:03.000 Is your problem, guys.
00:06:05.000 So Joe Manchin put out a full statement explaining his position.
00:06:10.000 We'll get to that in just one second.
00:06:13.000 Let's talk about your business needs.
00:06:15.000 Okay, so the fact is that right now, there's like 10 million open jobs in the United States, only 7 million people willing to fill those jobs, which means if you're an employer, you need workers.
00:06:22.000 You need employees.
00:06:23.000 And that means you need to find the best employees.
00:06:25.000 The best way to do that, head on over to ZipRecruiter, their invite to apply feature.
00:06:29.000 Let's you invite the best candidates to apply for your open roles.
00:06:32.000 And now you can try it for free at ziprecruiter.com slash dailywire.
00:06:36.000 How does invite to apply work?
00:06:37.000 Well, when you post a job on ZipRecruiter, you start getting the most qualified people sent to you pretty quickly.
00:06:41.000 Then you can easily review recommended candidates and invite your top choices to apply with one click.
00:06:46.000 Next Key Marketing Manager, Erin Hartge, loves Invite to Apply.
00:06:48.000 She says, they get my job posting in front of the right people.
00:06:51.000 I instantly see great candidates and I can invite them to apply to my job.
00:06:54.000 In fact, according to ZipRecruiter internal data, on average for 2020, jobs where employers use ZipRecruiter's invite to apply get two and a half times more candidates, which helps make for a faster hiring process.
00:07:04.000 You can see it for yourself.
00:07:05.000 Just go to ZipRecruiter.com slash DailyWire to try ZipRecruiter for free.
00:07:10.000 That is ZipRecruiter.com slash D-A-I-L-Y-W-I-R-E.
00:07:14.000 ZipRecruiter.com slash DailyWire.
00:07:15.000 ZipRecruiter is indeed the smartest way to hire.
00:07:18.000 Alrighty, here is the statement.
00:07:19.000 For five and a half months, I have worked as diligently as possible meeting with President Biden, Majority Leader Schumer, Speaker Pelosi, and my colleagues on every end of the political spectrum to determine the best path forward despite my serious reservations.
00:07:31.000 I've made my concerns clear through public statements, op-eds, and private conversations.
00:07:35.000 My concerns have only increased as the pandemic surges on, inflation rises, and geopolitical uncertainty increases around the world.
00:07:41.000 I've always said, if I can't go back home and explain it, I can't vote for it.
00:07:44.000 Despite my best efforts, I cannot explain Build Back Better in West Virginia.
00:07:47.000 I cannot vote to move forward on this mammoth piece of legislation.
00:07:50.000 Joe Manchin continues, my Democratic colleagues in Washington are determined to dramatically reshape our society in a way that leaves our country even more vulnerable to the threats we face. I cannot take that risk with a staggering debt of more than $29 trillion and inflation taxes that are real and harmful to every hard-working American at the gas pump, grocery store, and utility bills with no end in sight. The American people deserve transparency on the true cost of the Build Back Better Act.
00:08:13.000 The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office determined the cost is upwards of $4.5 trillion, which is more than double what the bill's ardent supporters have claimed.
00:08:20.000 They continue to camouflage the real cost of the intent behind this bill.
00:08:24.000 As the Omicron variant spreads throughout communities across the country, we are seeing COVID-19 cases rise at rates we have not seen since the height of the pandemic.
00:08:31.000 We're also facing increasing geopolitical uncertainty as tensions rise with both Russia and China, says Senator Manchin.
00:08:37.000 Our ability to quickly and effectively respond to these pending threats would be drastically hindered by our rising debt.
00:08:42.000 If enacted, the bill would also risk the reliability of our electric grid and increase our dependence on foreign supply chains.
00:08:47.000 The energy transition my colleagues seek is already well underway in the United States of America.
00:08:51.000 In the last two years, as chairman of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee, and with bipartisan support, we've invested billions of dollars into clean energy technologies so we can continue to lead the world in reducing emissions through innovation.
00:09:02.000 But to do so at a rate that is faster than technology or the markets allow will have catastrophic consequences for the American people like we have seen in both Texas and California in the last two years.
00:09:10.000 I will never forget the warning from then-chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Admiral Mike Mullen, that he delivered during a Senate Armed Services Committee hearing during my first year in the Senate.
00:09:18.000 He testified the greatest threat facing our nation was our national debt, and since that time our debt has doubled.
00:09:23.000 I will continue working with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to address the needs of all Americans, and do so in a way that does not risk our nation's independence, security, and way of life.
00:09:30.000 That is the statement put out by Joe Manchin.
00:09:30.000 Right?
00:09:32.000 So, inflation.
00:09:34.000 And national debt and misplaced priorities.
00:09:37.000 And really, bottom line, the fact that if he votes for this thing, he's toast and he knows he's toast.
00:09:41.000 If he sides with Joe Biden in West Virginia, he does not have a Senate seat anymore in four years.
00:09:45.000 Everyone knows this.
00:09:46.000 He knows this.
00:09:48.000 But the media are trying to make this out to be a personality issue between Joe Manchin and Joe Biden.
00:09:52.000 It's not a personality issue.
00:09:54.000 The incentive structure was completely wrong and Joe Biden was delusional.
00:09:57.000 And the progressives were delusional if they thought they were going to get Joe Biden on board.
00:10:00.000 By the way, Kyrsten Sinema apparently is going around telling people that she and Manchin are stand-ins for half a dozen other Democratic senators who are in purple states and who are looking around going, man, I'm glad that I didn't have to vote on that piece of crap.
00:10:12.000 According to Politico last night, less than 30 minutes before he killed the Democratic Party's most important piece of legislation, an aide was dispatched by Senator Joe Manchin to give the White House and Congressional leadership a heads up.
00:10:22.000 The senator himself was about to go live and was prepping for his interview with Brett Barron Fox News Sunday.
00:10:27.000 Who's out of town with family and doing the hit via satellite, says Politico.
00:10:30.000 He wore a red tie and pinstripe suit.
00:10:32.000 His hair looked perfect.
00:10:33.000 It would probably be one of the most viral video clips of his long career.
00:10:35.000 At the White House, there was panic and disbelief.
00:10:38.000 He sent an aide to tell the President of the United States he was about to go on Fox News and put a bullet in Bill Beckbetter.
00:10:44.000 Well, yeah, I mean, guys, because you've been completely ignoring what he's been saying the whole time.
00:10:47.000 He said it from day one.
00:10:49.000 And then you guys pretended, because you live in your own heads, that Joe Manchin was just going to do what you wanted him to do.
00:10:54.000 This is why Nancy Pelosi kept scheduling votes on this thing and then having to cancel votes on this thing.
00:10:58.000 It's why Chuck Schumer kept saying, we're going to do it by X date.
00:11:00.000 Nope.
00:11:00.000 Well, actually, we'll do it by this date.
00:11:02.000 Nope.
00:11:02.000 Well, actually, we'll just... They're going to keep doing this.
00:11:05.000 Top White House officials scrambled to call Senator Manchin and talk him out of what he was about to do.
00:11:10.000 We tried to head him off, a senior White House official told Playbook.
00:11:12.000 Manchin refused to take a call from the White House staff.
00:11:16.000 At Fox News' Washington studio, Baer was hosting his first episode of Fox News Sunday since Chris Wallace abruptly decamped.
00:11:22.000 The show's staff knew how much attention would be on them and how important it was in the ongoing war between news and opinion to prove the news side could still drive a conversation.
00:11:29.000 Manchin did not give Baer a heads up about the news he was about to break.
00:11:31.000 Okay, so then they quote Manchin.
00:11:37.000 Bottom line is that the entire White House is very upset.
00:11:41.000 So Jen Psaki came out and slammed Senator Manchin, accusing Joe Manchin of betrayal.
00:11:47.000 The White House put out a statement saying, On Tuesday of this week, Senator Manchin came to the White House and submitted to the President in person directly a written outline for a Build Back Better bill that was the same size and scope as the President's framework and covered many of the same priorities. While that framework was missing key priorities, we believed it could lead to a compromise acceptable to all. Senator Manchin promised to continue conversations in the days ahead and to work with us to reach that common
00:12:08.000 If his comments on Fox and written statement indicate an end to that effort, they represent a sudden and inexplicable reversal in his position and a breach of his commitments to the President and the Senator's colleagues in the House and Senate.
00:12:18.000 By the way, this signals that the White House knows it's over.
00:12:21.000 Because if the White House really thought there was a path forward for negotiation, here's what you don't do.
00:12:25.000 Set Joe Manchin on fire.
00:12:27.000 If you're Joe Biden and you want to negotiate with that guy, you cannot douse him in gasoline and light a match.
00:12:31.000 And yet that's what the White House is doing, right there.
00:12:33.000 The White House puts out a statement saying that it's a betrayal, a sudden and inexplicable reversal, and that's not true.
00:12:40.000 You guys just refused to sense the reality.
00:12:44.000 Everyone knew what was going to happen here.
00:12:46.000 You guys are just crazy.
00:12:49.000 I will point out here that there is a belief among some Senate Republicans that this justifies the infrastructure plan.
00:12:57.000 The reason is because Joe Manchin got the infrastructure bill.
00:13:00.000 He wanted the infrastructure bill.
00:13:01.000 Mitt Romney, Rob Portman, the deal that they made essentially with Manchin and Sinema is we will do the infrastructure bill with you, but you will not do Build Back Better, a giant boondoggle spending bill where all of the priorities that were cut out of the infrastructure bill then get stuffed into the Build Back Better Act.
00:13:17.000 And there are worries about trust, right?
00:13:19.000 That Manchin and Sinema would cave, and that they would then vote for Build Back Better, as well as the infrastructure bill, and the Democrats would get all their spending.
00:13:26.000 So, we will have to point out here that the strategic move made by some of these guys in the Senate to put forward the infrastructure bill as sort of a stop to Manchin and Sinema, to keep them from restructuring the entire American economy, was not necessarily the worst strategic move.
00:13:38.000 Now, it's possible that if they'd not passed the infrastructure bill, they still wouldn't have gotten Build Back Better, because the incentives would be no different.
00:13:45.000 It would still have been a hard slog to get Build Back Better approved by the voters of West Virginia.
00:13:49.000 That said, the baseline notion that you could get Manchin and Sinema to kill Build Back Better if you gave them infrastructure, that turned out at least to be true in the sense that Build Back Better is now dead.
00:14:01.000 Senior White House official is ripping on Manchin, says, look, with Manchin, you never know.
00:14:05.000 I've never seen anything like this.
00:14:07.000 The guy shook hands with the president.
00:14:08.000 He made us a written offer on Tuesday that had holes but was doable.
00:14:11.000 If he flipped away from that so quickly, maybe he can flip back.
00:14:15.000 Yeah, I think not.
00:14:16.000 I really, really think not.
00:14:18.000 And we'll get to more of this in just one second.
00:14:21.000 And what does this mean?
00:14:22.000 It means two things.
00:14:23.000 One, Joe Biden is not going to be the president he wanted to be.
00:14:27.000 And two, counterintuitively, Joe Manchin might have just saved Joe Biden's presidency.
00:14:32.000 I'll explain in just a second.
00:14:33.000 First, We've got a very different kind of sponsor for this episode, the Jordan Harbinger Show.
00:14:37.000 It's a podcast you really should be listening to.
00:14:39.000 I know that every day somebody tells you you just have to listen to some podcast, you nod, you say sure, and then you forget about it.
00:14:43.000 But Jordan's show really is a great listen.
00:14:46.000 Apple named it one of its best of 2018.
00:14:48.000 It's aimed at making you a better informed, more critical thinker, so you can get a sense of how the world actually works and come to your own conclusions about what's happening even inside your own brain.
00:14:55.000 Each episode is a conversation with a different fascinating guest.
00:14:58.000 When I say there's something for everyone, I really mean that.
00:15:00.000 In one episode, Jordan talks to a hostage negotiator from the FBI who offers techniques on how to get people to like and trust you, which sounds useful and disturbing at the same time.
00:15:08.000 Another episode tells the story of a pimp and mafia enforcer who talks about mind manipulation techniques and how you can defend against them.
00:15:14.000 Every conversation is really worth listening to.
00:15:16.000 Jordan has recent conversations with Yomi Park and Russell Brand.
00:15:19.000 These are all just fascinating, fascinating conversations.

00:15:29.000 That's H-A-R-B as in boy, I-N as in Nancy, G-E-R on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you listen to podcasts.
00:15:35.000 Go check it out right now.
00:15:37.000 Alrighty.
00:15:39.000 Joe Manchin essentially just ended Joe Biden's giant dreams.
00:15:44.000 But here's the thing.
00:15:46.000 That may save Joe Biden in the long run.
00:15:47.000 Because if Joe Biden actually got billed back better, and inflation continued to spiral out of control, and the economy continued to stagnate, it just would not renounce Joe Biden's benefit.
00:15:55.000 Now, I still think that the Democrats get shellacked in 2022 because they're going to have to own whatever comes next.
00:16:01.000 And nothing great is happening for the next year or so.
00:16:03.000 Inflation is going to last well into next year.
00:16:05.000 At this point, that is being conceded by the Federal Reserve.
00:16:08.000 The economy is not growing the way it is supposed to grow.
00:16:11.000 The Democrats have created a box of their own making.
00:16:13.000 They cannot get out of it with regard to COVID.
00:16:15.000 The COVID panic mentality that they relied upon for world-breaking change has actually broken their world.
00:16:20.000 But adding on top of that, a $5 trillion package would not have redounded to Joe Biden's benefit.
00:16:26.000 So Manchin killing it might counterintuitively be actually quite good for Joe Biden.
00:16:30.000 See, it took Bill Clinton the 1994 election before he realized that Hillary care and giant capital gains tax increases, that these things were very unpopular with the American people.
00:16:40.000 The way the American people sounded off was by giving Republicans their first congressional majority in three decades.
00:16:45.000 Well, Joe Biden, he's getting the wake up call early, but he's not getting it from a congressional election.
00:16:50.000 He's getting it from a member of his own party in the form of Joe Manchin.
00:16:54.000 Nonetheless, the Democrats are really, really angry over all of this, naturally, as you would expect them to be.
00:16:58.000 Because again, the idea was that now that Joe Biden was in control, they were going to get the Bernie Sanders presidency.
00:17:06.000 They were gonna get exactly what they had always wanted.
00:17:08.000 Well, no.
00:17:09.000 No, that's not going to happen anymore.
00:17:11.000 So, Bernie Sanders is now slamming Joe Manchin.
00:17:14.000 Here is the socialist old coot from Vermont, who's now the thought leader of the Democratic Party, who's been defeated by, as it turns out, a majority of the American population.
00:17:23.000 Let's not pretend that it's Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema alone who are standing against this bill, because that's not true.
00:17:28.000 52 senators stand against this bill.
00:17:30.000 A majority of the Senate.
00:17:31.000 This is not a matter of minority controlling.
00:17:33.000 This is a matter of a majority controlling.
00:17:35.000 Here's Bernie Sanders, though, who is lamenting this as he thinks fondly of Stalin.
00:17:44.000 I think he's going to have a lot of explaining to do to the people of West Virginia.
00:17:48.000 To tell them why he doesn't have the guts to take on the drug companies and lower the cost of prescription drugs.
00:17:53.000 Why he is not prepared to expand home health care.
00:17:56.000 West Virginia is one of the poorest states in this country.
00:17:59.000 You got elderly people and disabled people who would like to stay at home or forced into nursing homes.
00:18:06.000 He's going to have to tell the people of West Virginia why he doesn't want to expand Medicare to cover dental, hearing, and eyeglasses.
00:18:13.000 I've been to West Virginia a number of times and it's a great state, beautiful people, but it is a state that is struggling.
00:18:20.000 Okay, so I would just like to point out here that Bernie Sanders would not be elected dog catcher in West Virginia.
00:18:25.000 So Bernie Sanders giving...
00:18:28.000 Advice to Joe Manchin, who's been elected as a blue senator in a very red state repeatedly, is laughable.
00:18:35.000 If Bernie Sanders believes that his agenda is so popular, why wasn't he the nominee in the first place?
00:18:39.000 And again, I will never get over the fact that Joe Biden is such a fool that he was elected as a moderate, and then he swung to the Bernie Sanders side of the aisle.
00:18:47.000 It's totally crazy to me.
00:18:48.000 Okay, Alexander Ocasio-Cortez is also jumping into the fray.
00:18:51.000 So she tweeted out, when a handful of us in the house warned this would happen, if Democratic leaders gave Manchin everything he wanted first, by moving the infrastructure plan before Build Back Better, instead of passing it together, many ridiculed our position.
00:19:03.000 Maybe they'll believe us next time, or maybe people will just keep calling us naive.
00:19:07.000 Either way, we cannot accept no for an answer.
00:19:09.000 Democratic leadership, including but not limited to the president himself and House Democratic leadership, wrote a massive check on their credibility the night of the BIF vote in order to secure the votes they needed, promising passage of Build Back Better to every member who brought up Manchin.
00:19:22.000 They personally promised they had a solution and Build Back Better would pass.
00:19:26.000 It is simply not an option for Democratic leaders to walk away from Build Back Better, voting rights, etc.
00:19:30.000 They must find a way, just as they promised they would when we raised this inevitability.
00:19:34.000 Some of us don't have the luxury of giving up.
00:19:36.000 We serve working, middle class, and poor people.
00:19:38.000 We serve everyday workers getting ripped off, and immigrants, and black communities, and queer kids needing shelter.
00:19:43.000 We will not walk away from them.
00:19:44.000 And leadership can't walk away from them either.
00:19:46.000 People can be mad at Manchin all they want.
00:19:48.000 But we knew he would do this months ago.
00:19:49.000 Where we need answers are the leaders who promised a path on Build Back Better if BIF passed.
00:19:54.000 Biden and Democratic leaders.
00:19:55.000 They chose to move BIF alone instead of with Build Back Better, not Manchin.
00:19:58.000 So they need to fix it.
00:20:00.000 We, as always, says AOC, are here to fight for this agenda.
00:20:03.000 What matters most to us is that it gets done.
00:20:05.000 But we cannot just shrug our shoulders and accept this as some Charlie Brown moment.
00:20:09.000 Our entire democracy is on the line, so we need to get back in there and get this bleep done.
00:20:13.000 Period.
00:20:14.000 So, Slay Queen.
00:20:16.000 Yeah, go for it.
00:20:17.000 Seriously, go for it.
00:20:18.000 The entire progressive wing of the party is super mad that they even got billed the infrastructure plan.
00:20:23.000 So it seems that AOC is still committed to the idea that if the progressives had voted no on infrastructure, and they'd held together, Build Back Better and infrastructure, that Manchin would have voted for that.
00:20:34.000 No, he wouldn't have.
00:20:36.000 Literally the only thing that Joe Manchin would have voted for is the infrastructure plan.
00:20:40.000 He was not going to vote for both.
00:20:42.000 The only way possibly he might have voted for both is if Republicans were the ones obstructing the infrastructure plan, right?
00:20:48.000 That was the Romney logic.
00:20:50.000 But Joe Manchin was not going to vote for a $7 trillion package because AOC and Ilhan Omar wanted it.
00:20:57.000 These people are out of their minds.
00:21:00.000 They truly do seem to think that small boroughs in New York govern the entire country.
00:21:06.000 And that senators are not answerable to their home states.
00:21:10.000 Ilhan Omar joined the crew.
00:21:11.000 She slammed Manchin as well.
00:21:13.000 Here is the horrible congresswoman from Minnesota.
00:21:18.000 We all knew that Senator Manchin couldn't be trusted.
00:21:22.000 You know, the excuses that he just made I think are complete bulls**t. It is really disheartening to hear him say that he has been trying to get there for the people of West Virginia because that's a complete lie.
00:21:42.000 There are just so many things that, you know, the people of West Virginia desperately need.
00:21:47.000 And we know that he is not working on behalf of their interests.
00:21:53.000 And I really am just completely disappointed and disgusted by his reasoning.
00:22:00.000 Well, I mean, if the people of West Virginia don't love Ilhan Omar, I mean, wow.
00:22:04.000 I mean, when she speaks, the people of West Virginia listen.
00:22:07.000 That is definitely a state, West Virginia, where Ilhan Omar, I'm sure, is wildly popular.
00:22:12.000 Her perspectives are super popular in West Virginia.
00:22:16.000 Again, the delusional nature of progressives who think they have a national program, as opposed to the reality of politics, which is you're always cobbling together a coalition to do incremental things.
00:22:24.000 That is most of politics.
00:22:25.000 And that it turns out Joe Biden did not have a mandate for anything remotely like this.
00:22:30.000 It's amazing.
00:22:30.000 And they will continue diluting themselves along these lines, the progressives, which means that Joe Biden should get with the program, right?
00:22:36.000 If he had any brains at all, if he didn't have mush for brains at this point, which I mean, physically mush for brains, then he would probably be pushing for a piecemeal approach to a lot of this legislation.
00:22:46.000 But I don't know if he can do it.
00:22:47.000 I don't know if Joe Biden can get there.
00:22:49.000 He's so afraid of the progressive wing because they're the most motivated wing, even though they represent a tiny percentage of his party.
00:22:54.000 And he's going to continue pushing this.
00:22:55.000 It's utterly insane.
00:22:57.000 In a second, we'll talk about Joe Biden and the wild progressive wing that has they're in the ascendance in the Democratic Party, but they're not getting anything done.
00:23:03.000 We'll get to that in just a moment.
00:23:04.000 First.
00:23:05.000 You know your gas prices are too high.
00:23:07.000 They just, they're really, really high right now.
00:23:08.000 You go to California, it's like five bucks a gallon in some places.
00:23:11.000 I'm thrilled to introduce an incredible app that everyone who buys gas needs to know about.
00:23:14.000 GetUpside.
00:23:15.000 My listeners are making up to 25 cents for every gallon of gas every time they fill up.
00:23:19.000 Just download that free GetUpside app in the App Store or Google Play right now.
00:23:23.000 Use promo code SHAPIRO, get a bonus $0.25 per gallon on your first fill up.
00:23:27.000 That's up to $0.50 cash back.
00:23:29.000 Don't pay full price at the pump anymore.
00:23:30.000 Get cash back using GetUpside.
00:23:31.000 Just download that app for free.
00:23:33.000 Use promo code SHAPIRO, get up to $0.50 per gallon cash back on your first tank.
00:23:36.000 Some people who drive a lot are making as much as $200 to $300 a month in cash back.
00:23:39.000 There's no catch.
00:23:40.000 The cashback gets added directly to your account.
00:23:42.000 You can cash out anytime to your bank account, PayPal, or an e-gift card for Amazon and other brands.
00:23:47.000 So, if you freak out every time you go to the pump because it's really expensive, why not get some money back with GetUpside?
00:23:53.000 Download that free GetUpside app, use promo code SHAPIRO, get up to $0.50 per gallon cashback on your very first tank of gas.
00:23:59.000 That is code SHAPIRO.
00:24:00.000 When you get that free GetUpside app and use promo code SHAPIRO, get up to $0.50 per gallon cashback on your first tank of gas, and up to $0.25 per gallon after that.
00:24:08.000 Okay.
00:24:10.000 The progressives continue to preach an agenda that is just completely at odds with the rest of the American public.
00:24:14.000 And again, I don't find that shocking.
00:24:16.000 AOC is from the bluest part of blue state America.
00:24:19.000 She was recruited by the Justice Democrats to be like the bluest of the blue.
00:24:23.000 AOC is not the shock.
00:24:24.000 The shock is Joe Biden.
00:24:25.000 I mean, AOC is constantly spouting stuff that is completely disconnected from reality.
00:24:29.000 For example, she said over the weekend that student loan debt is immoral.
00:24:34.000 In what way?
00:24:35.000 If I take a loan to spend money on a thing and then I have to repay the money, that is not immoral.
00:24:40.000 You know what's immoral?
00:24:42.000 What's immoral is Welshing on your deal.
00:24:44.000 Right?
00:24:44.000 That's immoral.
00:24:45.000 It's immoral to walk back a loan and try to get out of it.
00:24:50.000 That's immoral.
00:24:51.000 But here is AOC claiming that apparently it's moral to steal money from people.
00:24:53.000 I mean, of course she thinks this.
00:24:54.000 She's a socialist.
00:24:56.000 There is also the case of just millions of people in the United States that already went to college and they were saddled with a lot of unethical and immorally kind of created student loan debt.
00:25:14.000 And so this is a bucket of folks where if we lower the price of college, they are still stuck with huge amounts of student loan debt.
00:25:24.000 Did someone put a gun to their heads when they took out that debt to study lesbian dance theory at Wellesley?
00:25:31.000 This is the agenda.
00:25:33.000 By the way, AOC says that we should abolish the Senate.
00:25:35.000 Her solution to Joe Manchin is that we should just get rid of the Senate of the United States.
00:25:38.000 Don't worry, they're not radicals.
00:25:39.000 They're not radicals.
00:25:40.000 They're just progressives who like to think in a different way.
00:25:44.000 There are certain institutions since the founding of the United States that are fundamentally undemocratic.
00:25:51.000 The United States Senate is one such example.
00:25:56.000 Now, we elect our senators by popular vote.
00:26:00.000 That is a democratic part.
00:26:03.000 That is a democratic function.
00:26:06.000 There are some states, like for example in Georgia and in Texas, where the right to vote is under attack.
00:26:14.000 And that is fundamentally undemocratic.
00:26:17.000 But what makes the Senate, but that affects everybody and all seats, but what makes the Senate fundamentally undemocratic is that it gives small groups of people the same amount of power as massive groups of people.
00:26:35.000 And that is not democratic at all.
00:26:39.000 Okay, so?
00:26:40.000 So?
00:26:42.000 Our system was structured for gridlock.
00:26:44.000 This is the whole point.
00:26:45.000 Progressives hate our system because progressives believe that our system should be ripped down in favor of a left-wing dictatorship.
00:26:50.000 I mean, that's essentially what they believe.
00:26:52.000 That as long as they can command a majority of 50 plus one, they should be able to ram down on Americans whatever rights-violating policy they feel is necessary that day.
00:27:01.000 Again, AOC is the thought leader, guys.
00:27:02.000 By the way, I think that there's a serious shot that if Joe Biden plots this before 2024, or if he just doesn't run, Bernie's gonna need an heir.
00:27:10.000 You really think that she wouldn't run some sort of quixotic presidential campaign?
00:27:13.000 She absolutely would.
00:27:13.000 She'd raise more money than anybody else on the left.
00:27:16.000 She's the new Bernie.
00:27:18.000 Here's AOC pushing CRT as well, Critical Race Theory.
00:27:23.000 I think one of the things that has been almost difficult for me personally in working in Congress is seeing how Different.
00:27:41.000 You know, not only the rest of the country is, because that diversity is great.
00:27:45.000 It's not that it's different, but it's how accepting of racism a lot of other communities are.
00:27:54.000 There was recently this debate in Virginia, for example, that people don't want their kids really learning about racism or the history of racism in the United States.
00:28:05.000 They call this critical race theory.
00:28:09.000 No, of course, you're completely misconstruing it.
00:28:11.000 I'm sorry.
00:28:11.000 No matter how large her glasses get, she's still going to be an idiot.
00:28:16.000 Our glasses seem to increase exponentially each time she's on a screen.
00:28:19.000 Like, they started off as spectacles, and now they are just giant Hubble telescopes.
00:28:24.000 But in any case... In any case, the whole thing is very... Okay, but here's the thing.
00:28:31.000 We can make fun of AOC all we want, but Joe Biden decided to take his cues from the swing of the party.
00:28:34.000 That's the part I'll never get over.
00:28:35.000 Why?
00:28:36.000 Why?
00:28:36.000 Okay, he's still doing this.
00:28:38.000 Over the weekend, Joe Biden, slurring his way through yet another Discombobulated speech.
00:28:43.000 Suggested that black people don't have lawyers.
00:28:46.000 I don't know what he's talking about.
00:28:47.000 I'm very well aware of black people who not only have lawyers, but are lawyers.
00:28:51.000 Turns out lots of black people have lawyers.
00:28:53.000 What is he even talking about?
00:28:55.000 I think he's living still like in 1911 or something.
00:28:59.000 Here we go.
00:29:01.000 We learned there's no difference between a black entrepreneur and a white entrepreneur in success.
00:29:07.000 Except the black entrepreneur usually doesn't have a lawyer.
00:29:10.000 Usually doesn't have someone who is going to be there, an accountant, to get it all set up.
00:29:14.000 Their idea is as profound.
00:29:19.000 But the help is missing.
00:29:24.000 His random anger is very strange.
00:29:26.000 He'll do speeches and then he just, like, DIA!
00:29:28.000 It's like, what are you, whoa!
00:29:30.000 Dude!
00:29:34.000 Yeah, I have a joke here I won't say.
00:29:35.000 In any case, Joe Biden, and then of course he continues along the AOT lines that there's sinister voter suppression going on.
00:29:41.000 Remember this guy is the Great Uniter?
00:29:43.000 He's speaking at a historically black college and university.
00:29:46.000 Commencement, here.
00:29:47.000 And he is talking about sinister voter suppression.
00:29:49.000 This is the same guy who said that Mitt Romney wanted to put black people back in chains.
00:29:53.000 So Captain Uniting over here is not very uniting, I noticed.
00:29:58.000 This new sinister combination of voter suppression and election subversion, it's un-American.
00:30:06.000 It's undemocratic.
00:30:07.000 And sadly, it is unprecedented since Reconstruction.
00:30:12.000 Vice President Harris is leading the efforts for us.
00:30:14.000 But on the anniversary of Bloody Sunday, I directed every single federal agency in the United States government to promote access to voting, and each agency is heading and heeding the call.
00:30:25.000 Okay, so it's the worst situation on voting in the United States since Reconstruction?
00:30:34.000 There was like a hundred year period after the Civil War in which there was overt prevention of black people from voting in the United States.
00:30:43.000 Like overt, not covert, overt.
00:30:46.000 Legal segregation was a regime that dominated about half the United States for a century.
00:30:51.000 But again, he's embraced the full-scale left-wing radical agenda.
00:30:55.000 And so Joe Manchin, you know, it was a dose of reality.
00:30:58.000 And here's the thing.
00:30:59.000 I think Democrats are about to be hit by reality on virtually every front.
00:31:01.000 I think they're getting hit by reality on COVID as well.
00:31:04.000 I think Omicron is about to demonstrate some reality up close and personal.
00:31:08.000 You can start to see reality dawning on them.
00:31:10.000 It's a very awkward feeling for them.
00:31:12.000 We'll get to that in just one moment.
00:31:15.000 Let's talk about the fact that you, as a responsible person, need life insurance.
00:31:19.000 I mean, let's say that you're responsible each and every year for delivering literally hundreds of millions of presents around the globe.
00:31:25.000 You're getting your sleigh every single year, and you're flying over the rooftops, and you land on top of somebody's house, you're gonna pop down the chimney, you're gonna leave some gifts, and then some weird guy down there on the lawn starts yelling at you.
00:31:37.000 You look down at him for just a second, you lose your footing, you start sliding down the roof.
00:31:41.000 Well, as you fall off the gutter, It occurs to you, man, I really should have gotten some life insurance before Tim Allen becomes Santa Claus and replaces me.
00:31:50.000 Well, if you want life insurance, there's only one great place to get it, PolicyGenius.

00:32:35.000 Alrighty, before we get to the latest on COVID, where panic has broken out everywhere for no apparent reason, first, Let me tell you about a brand new show we've got out right now.
00:32:44.000 It's called The Search.
00:32:45.000 And the reason it's called The Search is it really is about a search for truth and meaning.
00:32:48.000 It is, I sit down basically with my most interesting friends, because thank God, I live a pretty awesome life where I get to talk with interesting people who are my friends almost every day.
00:32:57.000 And we sit down for coffee.
00:32:58.000 We just hang out.
00:32:59.000 And I decided I want to let you in on some of those conversations.
00:33:02.000 So if you want to see a fly on the wall conversation between me and Jordan Peterson, we just went to a coffee shop and we just talked about what was on our minds.
00:33:08.000 It's pretty spectacular.
00:33:09.000 It's really great stuff.
00:33:09.000 It's a way that you haven't seen Jordan or me before.
00:33:12.000 The first episode is available right now at dailywire.com.
00:33:15.000 It's called The Search.
00:33:16.000 We're gonna be doing more with Jordan in the future.
00:33:18.000 I'm really excited about it.
00:33:19.000 Head on over right now to dailywire.com and subscribe to get access to The Search.
00:33:23.000 It's one of our most trafficked pieces of content ever and there's a reason why.
00:33:26.000 Also, Candace Owens doesn't hold back.
00:33:28.000 That's why The Daily Wire sent her to Mar-a-Lago to interview one of the most censored people in America, of course, President Trump.
00:33:34.000 No question was off the table.
00:33:35.000 They discuss everything from the potential for another presidential run in 2024 to why Donald Trump did not pardon whistleblowers, and also what he really thinks about Alec Baldwin, who, of course, played him on SNL.
00:33:45.000 The interview is fascinating.
00:33:47.000 It streams tomorrow, 9 p.m.
00:33:48.000 Eastern, 8 p.m.
00:33:49.000 Central, only at DailyWire.com.

00:34:31.000 So get ready to listen because we've got a lot to say.
00:34:33.000 You're listening to the largest, fastest growing conservative podcast and radio show in the nation.
00:34:37.000 Okay, so meanwhile, the Democrats have boxed themselves in.
00:34:44.000 They boxed themselves in on policy because they started following the AOC, progressive policy agenda, the Bernie Sanders agenda, and they didn't have the support for it.
00:34:51.000 And they really boxed themselves in on COVID because their take on COVID is what is destroying the economy.
00:34:56.000 Their take on COVID is leading to more opioid deaths.
00:34:58.000 Their take on COVID is leading to depression across broad swaths of the American population because their take on COVID is completely disconnected from reality.
00:35:06.000 The reality was always, was always, that elderly people, people in nursing homes, people with pre-existing conditions, were highly vulnerable to COVID, and that everybody else was maybe a little tiny bit vulnerable to COVID, and if you were really young, you weren't vulnerable to COVID nearly at all.
00:35:20.000 That was always logic.
00:35:22.000 Always.
00:35:22.000 And now, as we have a new variant that is way more transmissible than Delta, and apparently way less deadly than Delta, they can't let go of the idea That they promulgated that COVID was a thing government could handle and government could get rid of.
00:35:37.000 And so, even to acknowledge that COVID has become endemic, it's almost a blind spot for them.
00:35:42.000 They can never acknowledge it.
00:35:44.000 Instead, they've sunk into an endless malaise.
00:35:47.000 And so, Chris Chaliza, right, has a piece over at CNN, and it is so insanely delusional.
00:35:53.000 It really is.
00:35:55.000 Listen to this.
00:35:55.000 Okay, it's called, Why My COVID Anxiety Is Spiking Now All These Months Later.
00:36:00.000 The answer is because you refuse to understand basic realities about life.
00:36:04.000 I mean, that's the real answer.
00:36:06.000 But there's been an embedded sense of panic and doom that Democrats have promulgated as the essence of virtue.
00:36:13.000 They're essentially the same as people who are walking around in the 13th century chanting that the end was near, repent.
00:36:20.000 But what you're supposed to repent to is basically the dominance of government.
00:36:24.000 It is a religious perspective at this point.
00:36:27.000 I've talked before about fear of God, the idea of Yirat Shemayim in Hebrew.
00:36:32.000 These people's belief that if they fear COVID enough, it will leave them alone is totally crazy.
00:36:37.000 Here's Chris Chaliza.
00:36:38.000 I remember the moment distinctly.
00:36:39.000 It was Thanksgiving.
00:36:40.000 We, my wife, kids, and mom, were at my college friend's house with his family.
00:36:44.000 Everyone was vaccinated.
00:36:45.000 We had all taken rapid tests that morning to make sure it was safe to celebrate together.
00:36:48.000 So first of all, You were vaccinated, so why were you even taking the rapid test?
00:36:52.000 Who cares?
00:36:52.000 Who cares?
00:36:53.000 Even if you gave it to each other, you were gonna be fine.
00:36:55.000 Because the vaccinations are super effective, and you can't do anything about it anyway, because welcome to life.
00:36:59.000 But, here's what he says.
00:37:01.000 That was the last day I felt relatively unworried about COVID-19.
00:37:05.000 Since the word Omicron entered our lexicon, every day has been filled with varying levels of stress.
00:37:10.000 Really?
00:37:10.000 Has it?
00:37:11.000 That seems like a you problem to me.
00:37:12.000 I'll be honest with you.
00:37:13.000 If you're vaxxed, and you're sitting around, panicked about Omicron, I think that what you actually need is not a vaccine.
00:37:20.000 You need another type of medication.
00:37:22.000 You need an antidepressant, or maybe an anti-anxiety medication.
00:37:27.000 But, if you're sitting around like panicked about this stuff, and you're vaxxed, I don't know what's wrong with you.
00:37:32.000 I can't, I've got nothing for you.
00:37:34.000 Except a psychiatrist number.
00:37:36.000 Christian Lisa says, there's the near daily note from the boys school about students testing positive and the measures being put in place to contain it.
00:37:42.000 Okay, and?
00:37:44.000 And?
00:37:45.000 So what?
00:37:46.000 Your kids will be fine.
00:37:48.000 Kids are not getting seriously ill from COVID.
00:37:50.000 The numbers on children who have died from COVID, I'm not going to stop repeating it because it remains true.
00:37:54.000 The number of kids who have died, who were healthy before COVID, who died of COVID in the United States under the age of 18 is still below 20.
00:38:04.000 There's a parade of headlines that suggest, says Chris Chillesa, Omicron is on the march in Europe and that a surge is inevitable in the United States.
00:38:09.000 Right, but it's a surge of cases.
00:38:11.000 So who cares?
00:38:12.000 Who cares?
00:38:14.000 There's a surge of cases every year around this time in the cold, in the common cold.
00:38:18.000 Do we care?
00:38:19.000 I don't even have any idea.
00:38:22.000 How many people every year are diagnosed with the common cold?
00:38:25.000 You don't even go to the doctor.
00:38:27.000 No one goes to the doctor for the common cold because it's so common.
00:38:29.000 That is literally why it is called the common cold.
00:38:32.000 But Chris Chalise is panicked.
00:38:34.000 He says there are invites to Christmas parties and for the kids to attend sleepovers and playdates and holiday trips and a million and one other things that require my wife and me to play the role of public health experts.
00:38:43.000 Hyperventilation, get him a paper bag.
00:38:46.000 Here's the problem, says Chris Chilesa, I'm not a public health expert or anything close to it.
00:38:50.000 In fact, because of a long battle with health anxiety and compulsive behavior, I'm a terrible person to be tasked with making these daily calls.
00:38:56.000 He is begging to be ruled.
00:38:58.000 And this is so many people now.
00:39:00.000 They have put all their faith in a government that cannot solve the problem, but they require a ruler.
00:39:05.000 They want a ruler.
00:39:06.000 I can't be, I can't be, I can't handle these particular conversations or these decisions.
00:39:13.000 Okay, just because you can't doesn't mean that I can't.
00:39:15.000 I am perfectly happy to make these decisions with my family.
00:39:18.000 So are the vast majority of Americans, by the way.
00:39:20.000 I can make this decision with my parents, with my kids, with my wife.
00:39:24.000 I can make all these decisions myself.
00:39:26.000 I don't need the great god of Dr. Anthony Fauci descending from on high to explain what's going on with everything with COVID and Omicron.
00:39:35.000 The hell is wrong with you people?
00:39:37.000 Get a grip.
00:39:39.000 Chris Chilesa says more than 20 months into this nightmare, more than a year after the first vaccine was administered, more than 800,000 deaths later, it seems there is no end in sight.
00:39:46.000 Really?
00:39:46.000 Because the end was in sight literally the day that I got my second dose.
00:39:49.000 Once I got my second dose and once it had kicked in, the end was not only in sight, it was over for me.
00:39:53.000 I have not worried for one iota of one moment since that day.
00:39:56.000 You know why?
00:39:57.000 Because I actually follow the data.
00:39:59.000 That's why.
00:40:01.000 But, says Chrysalisa, I feel emotionally raw.
00:40:03.000 Everything from anger to exhaustion to resignation sits heavier on me now than it did at that Thanksgiving dinner a few weeks ago.
00:40:09.000 I'm exhausted from the constant not knowing.
00:40:11.000 Each new day feels like it brings a darkening prediction of what the future holds and I'm tired.
00:40:16.000 He's citing Deuteronomy now.
00:40:17.000 It's like every night you go to bed thinking that you wish it were the morning and then every morning you wish it were the prior night because things just get worse and worse.
00:40:24.000 I'm a creature of habit, says Chrysalisa.
00:40:26.000 I love knowing what the next day will bring.
00:40:27.000 With the pandemic, it feels like the situation is changing.
00:40:30.000 By the hour, I'm resigned to the fact none of this is going away soon.
00:40:33.000 The idea that COVID will be in the rearview mirror by March feels, at this point, quaint.
00:40:37.000 I've watched the goalposts for the end of the pandemic moved so many times, I can't even remember where they were a month ago.
00:40:42.000 So what leftist politicians and what the media have done is they've turned everybody into the rats in the experiment.
00:40:50.000 So there's a very famous rat experiment where rats were fed pellets every time they hit a button.
00:40:56.000 And then rats were electroshocked sometimes when they hit the button.
00:41:02.000 Well, it was only like every fourth time, but what the rats started to do, they wouldn't learn the pattern.
00:41:06.000 They would just stay away from the button until they starved.
00:41:08.000 That is what you have done with these people.
00:41:10.000 This is what government and the media have done.
00:41:11.000 You've scared people so crapless that they are afraid of doing anything, even when the risk is incredibly low.
00:41:18.000 You've enervated them.
00:41:20.000 You've turned them into pathetic, mewling specimens.
00:41:24.000 Says Chris Chilesa.
00:41:26.000 This has always been one of my favorite times of the year.
00:41:27.000 Now it's filled with dread and foreboding.
00:41:30.000 All I know is it's been a long December and I need to find reasons to believe that next year is something I can look forward to.
00:41:35.000 So what?
00:41:36.000 You're just gonna wait on Anthony Pachi to tell you?
00:41:38.000 Okay, so the reason that I'm so scornful of all of this is because I look at the stats.
00:41:42.000 So, let me show you some statistics.
00:41:45.000 Here are some statistics.
00:41:46.000 These are statistics from the United Kingdom.
00:41:49.000 Okay, these are the case stats.
00:41:51.000 So as of July, there were very, very few cases in the United Kingdom of COVID-19 as of this, as of this June, July.
00:41:58.000 And then it spiked in July.
00:41:59.000 So there were almost 50,000 cases, right?
00:42:02.000 That was the Delta wave.
00:42:03.000 And then it sank back down below 30,000 cases a day as of like August.
00:42:08.000 That sort of gradually rose kind of some ups and some downs.
00:42:10.000 And then In about November, huge spike.
00:42:15.000 Huge spike in cases.
00:42:17.000 Higher than it's ever been.
00:42:18.000 A spike in cases from maybe 35,000 cases a day, all the way up to well over 70,000 cases a day.
00:42:23.000 This is a seven-day rolling average, not the day-to-day number, right?
00:42:26.000 The seven-day rolling average.
00:42:28.000 So, it more than doubled over the course of the last month.
00:42:31.000 So, we are now a month out.
00:42:32.000 What you would expect is that the deaths would start to increase, right?
00:42:35.000 Here are the death stats from the UK.
00:42:38.000 Notice something?
00:42:39.000 Complete disconnect.
00:42:40.000 Go back to the last chart for a second.
00:42:42.000 Okay, what you'll see in the last chart is that there was a big spike in November, particularly, right, November of 2020.
00:42:49.000 Right, in November of 2020, around the end of November, there's a big spike in cases, all the way up to about 60,000 cases a day.
00:42:55.000 Now go to the other chart for a second.
00:42:58.000 If you go to the other chart, what you'll see is that about two weeks later, right, two to four weeks later, huge spike in deaths, because that's what you expect.
00:43:08.000 When COVID hits, there's a huge increase in cases, and then, there is a huge spike in hospitalizations and deaths.
00:43:14.000 Thanks to the vaccines, because the UK was heavily vaccinated, there is no such spike in June-July.
00:43:19.000 Right?
00:43:19.000 What you see is like a slight increase.
00:43:21.000 You know, it increases from zero a day in early June, all the way- Go back one.
00:43:27.000 It increases from zero a day in early June, to a little under 200 a day, and it kind of stays there.
00:43:33.000 All the way throughout the pandemic because of the vaccines.
00:43:35.000 Now you have this huge, vast, mass spike Any increase in deaths?
00:43:38.000 No.
00:43:40.000 Deaths right now in the United Kingdom, seven-day rolling average is actually lower now than it was about a week ago.
00:43:44.000 Okay, so is that only the UK where they've seen a massive spike?
00:43:48.000 No, it turns out it's not only the UK.
00:43:49.000 Here's South Africa.
00:43:51.000 So South Africa has had three very clear waves.
00:43:54.000 This is the fourth very clear wave.
00:43:57.000 Okay, and this wave is enormous.
00:43:58.000 They went from basically zero cases a day in Mid-November to essentially 30,000 cases a day as of today.
00:44:07.000 And that started solidly a month ago.
00:44:10.000 Started three weeks to a month ago.
00:44:11.000 Here are the death stats from South Africa.
00:44:16.000 Oh look, there's no spike in death.
00:44:18.000 At all.
00:44:19.000 Right?
00:44:20.000 It's the same.
00:44:20.000 Super low rate.
00:44:22.000 Where's the spike?
00:44:23.000 If you think it's just over in South Africa where this thing started, or in the UK, I bring New York.
00:44:28.000 So here's New York.
00:44:29.000 New York has seen a massive spike.
00:44:30.000 Again, mask mandates, vaccines, massive spike in cases.
00:44:34.000 They're all the way down, well below 5,000 cases a day at the beginning of November, and then it started to spike.
00:44:39.000 And now, they're up to almost 15,000 cases a day in the seven-day rolling average.
00:44:43.000 This is the New York Times numbers.
00:44:45.000 Here's their deaths.
00:44:46.000 This is New York.
00:44:47.000 New York State.
00:44:48.000 Notice something?
00:44:49.000 This is the citywide deaths in New York.
00:44:52.000 Same rate.
00:44:54.000 Almost none.
00:44:56.000 You know why?
00:44:56.000 Because Omicron is not nearly as deadly as Delta.
00:44:59.000 This is evidenced by South Africa.
00:45:02.000 The last wave in South Africa, about three weeks out from that wave, 19% hospitalization rate.
00:45:08.000 This time, 1.7% hospitalization rate.
00:45:12.000 Lab studies are showing that Omicron is residing in the upper airways.
00:45:17.000 It is not going down to the lungs, which means no lung damage, which means people aren't dying.
00:45:22.000 And yet, we are told that we must panic.
00:45:23.000 This is why Chris Chalise is panicking like a little baby.
00:45:26.000 He's crying like a small baby.
00:45:28.000 So, Democrats are faced with a problem here.
00:45:31.000 The problem is that they've told you that you were supposed to panic over every variant.
00:45:34.000 The variants were the reason why we needed this spending.
00:45:37.000 The variants were the reason why you had to trust the government.
00:45:39.000 And instead of recognizing the reality, which is that the virus kind of solved itself, okay?
00:45:43.000 Omicron kind of solves everything.
00:45:45.000 Because if Omicron is super contagious and super not deadly, and it provides essentially a level of immunity to a lot of people who have not had it yet, if you're an unvaxxed person, you want Omicron way worse than you want Delta.
00:45:56.000 You don't want Delta, you want Omicron if you're going to get infected.
00:45:59.000 But this gives Democrats the heebie-jeebies because they have no control over it.
00:46:06.000 They have no control over the common cold.
00:46:08.000 And so this scares the hell out of them.
00:46:09.000 And so they're now completely bifurcated, right?
00:46:12.000 They're of two minds, and they can't handle the cognitive dissonance.
00:46:14.000 On the one hand, lock everything down.
00:46:16.000 Omicron's going to kill us all.
00:46:18.000 The government's the only thing that can save us.
00:46:19.000 It's all this stupid on vax and all that.
00:46:21.000 And on the other hand, they're like, well, I mean, people really do want their schools open.
00:46:26.000 So a bunch of people on the left are now getting diagnosed with COVID, which is fine if you've got a breakthrough case because you were vaxed or because you had natural immunity.
00:46:34.000 And it turns out you have a cold?
00:46:36.000 Who cares?
00:46:36.000 No one.
00:46:38.000 But Democrats are panicking about this anyway.
00:46:41.000 So on the one hand, they're panicking about it because, oh my God, oh my God, everyone's going to die.
00:46:44.000 It's going to be terrible.
00:46:44.000 This is why you have to give us control.
00:46:46.000 Give us controls.
00:46:47.000 And on the other hand, when they get COVID, they kind of don't want to do all the things they've been telling everybody else to do.
00:46:53.000 So suddenly, Brian Stelter at CNN has flipped 180 degrees, and he's talking about the evils of shutting down schools when there are COVID outbreaks.
00:47:01.000 Yeah, Brian, someone's been saying this all along, dude.
00:47:05.000 We collectively took action to protect the elderly in 2020.
00:47:10.000 Now, shouldn't we be doing more to protect children by letting them live normal lives?
00:47:16.000 Are we really going to let the kids suffer even more?
00:47:22.000 Welcome to the club, Brian Stelter.
00:47:24.000 I mean, like, seriously, I'm glad you're here.
00:47:26.000 But I'm noticing that most of the people on the left are only getting in line with the fact that life has to get back to some semblance of normal once it's starting affected them.
00:47:35.000 When it was all red states, then they're like all those evil red states and their upticks.
00:47:38.000 Then New York gets hit.
00:47:39.000 Vermont gets hit.
00:47:40.000 All these heavily vaccinated states are getting hit.
00:47:42.000 Because guess what?
00:47:43.000 When people go inside, they pass COVID.
00:47:45.000 Duh.
00:47:46.000 And now, all of a sudden, they say, well, maybe we've gone too far here, guys.
00:47:49.000 Maybe we've gone too far.
00:47:50.000 But they can't let it go.
00:47:51.000 And so they're ping-ponging between, we can never let this go, grip it harder, grip it harder, kill the bird!
00:47:56.000 And on the other hand, we must let the bird live, release the dove.
00:47:59.000 They can't get over it.
00:48:00.000 And so you've got this bizarre ping-pong effect for the Democratic Party.
00:48:04.000 Should we panic?
00:48:05.000 Should we not panic?
00:48:06.000 What do we do?
00:48:07.000 And they have no clue.
00:48:09.000 At the same time, you've got Brian Stelter saying that kids should be in school.
00:48:12.000 CNN is shutting it to offices.
00:48:15.000 Because of the COVID-19 spike.
00:48:17.000 It's totally insane.
00:48:19.000 So this sort of bifurcation is not going to end.
00:48:22.000 The bifurcation for the Democratic Party is not going to end, despite the fact that, again, Omicron should not be freaking everybody out.
00:48:28.000 It should not.
00:48:30.000 Even the articles that are headlined in a panic-driven way, when you read down into the data, they're not that scary.
00:48:35.000 For example, there's a piece in the Wall Street Journal that says hospitals are strained even before Omicron hits.
00:48:42.000 Intensive care units in many cities are at or close to full capacity due to patients with serious non-COVID diseases.
00:48:51.000 So wait, you're telling me I'm supposed to worry about Omicron because there are a lot of people with other diseases that have nothing to do with COVID?
00:49:01.000 According to the Wall Street Journal article buried down in this article, excess deaths are a measure of how many people lost their lives above an average from prior years.
00:49:08.000 Hospital strain could be one reason for results.
00:49:11.000 Researchers not involved in the study said another factor may be people who put off care seeking care during the pandemic out of fear of inaction.
00:49:18.000 So in other words, one of the reasons you're seeing an ICU strain right now is because everybody didn't go to the hospital and then they thought it was safe to go to the hospital.
00:49:24.000 So everybody went to the hospital at the same time.
00:49:26.000 That ain't about Omicron.
00:49:27.000 That ain't even about Delta.
00:49:28.000 That's about the lockdowns.
00:49:30.000 But we're supposed to panic.
00:49:31.000 It's very important that we panic.
00:49:35.000 By the way, here are the actual stats from the Wall Street Journal.
00:49:38.000 60% of adult ICU patients in cities with ICUs, at least 90% full, do not have COVID infections.
00:49:45.000 Do not.
00:49:46.000 So it's not about COVID.
00:49:48.000 It's about everything else.
00:49:48.000 It's about you delayed everybody's care for a year and then everybody showed up at the same time.
00:49:53.000 But Democrats can't get, like, they're all over the place on this.
00:49:56.000 It's amazing to watch.
00:49:57.000 They truly are all over the place on this.
00:49:59.000 Take, for example, New York City.
00:50:00.000 So in New York City, Bill de Blasio has put down a mandate that is supposed to take effect about four days before he leaves office.
00:50:07.000 And that mandate is that everyone in the city has to be vaxxed or you're not allowed to work in the city.
00:50:12.000 I know business owners in New York are freaking out over this because guess what?
00:50:15.000 There's a labor shortage right now and now you're asking people to fire their workers or fine them like $1,000 per incident.
00:50:22.000 What is Eric Adams going to do, the incoming mayor of New York?
00:50:24.000 Now, we were told that Eric Adams was going to be a moderate.
00:50:27.000 He was going to come in.
00:50:28.000 He was going to repudiate a lot of the de Blasio legacy.
00:50:31.000 He doesn't sound like much of a moderate with regard to COVID, does he?
00:50:34.000 Sure he was on CNN over the weekend.
00:50:36.000 We're doing an amazing job.
00:50:37.000 We're looking at those areas where we have large outbreaks.
00:50:41.000 We are temporarily shutting down the schools in those areas.
00:50:45.000 I think it's smart.
00:50:46.000 It's a great way to go, and we're going to continue to do that.
00:50:49.000 This is a moving target, and we need to be clear on that.
00:50:55.000 By the way, I have some doubts about the new mayor of New York, considering that he literally has said to the New York Times that the number one skill he looks for in his administration is, wait for it, wait for it, emotional intelligence.
00:51:06.000 Man oh man if the people like you know it's a thing that I don't look for as like a high as a high resume item here at the Daily Wire emotional intelligence because there's no way to quantify that like you want people can get along with other people but if that's your number one criteria Yeah, good luck with that emotional intelligence.
00:51:23.000 Anyway, the complete gap in how Democrats are thinking about this thing is leading to all sorts of bizarre shifts in messaging.
00:51:31.000 So over the weekend, CNN announced that the Biden administration would be eyeing a potentially stark shift in messaging around ending the pandemic.
00:51:38.000 Quote, sitting at the head of a long conference table surrounded by top members of his COVID response team, Biden listened intently as the officials laid out the contours of a looming COVID surge.
00:51:48.000 So Biden is trying to scare the unvaxxed into vaxxing.
00:51:50.000 and send the country into another bleak winter.
00:51:53.000 Yet Biden's team also came to the evergreen Bidekt Roosevelt room with potentially more positive news.
00:51:59.000 Many of those cases will remain mild or even asymptomatic in vaccinated people, particularly those who've gotten booster shots.
00:52:04.000 So Biden is trying to scare the un-vaxxed into vaxing, and they're trying to shift into focusing on severity rather than focusing on case numbers, which is what some of us have been urging the entire damned time.
00:52:19.000 No one cares about case numbers.
00:52:20.000 Severity is the only thing that matters.
00:52:22.000 But by the way, if you mentioned that, let me just point this out.
00:52:24.000 If you mentioned that anywhere during the pandemic, we should focus on severity, hospitalization and death, not case counts.
00:52:30.000 This administration actively tried to smear people who said this, actively.
00:52:35.000 Over the weekend, the Daily Mail ...reported on emails between Anthony Fauci and the head of the NIH, Francis Collins.
00:52:42.000 You know, the idiot who plays guitar and warbles about, some day after the pandemic?
00:52:48.000 That idiot.
00:52:50.000 Apparently, these idiots were writing each other emails, talking about the Great Barrington Declaration.
00:52:55.000 The Great Barrington Declaration is a declaration by a bunch of epidemiologists, including Dr. Jay Bhattacharya from Stanford.
00:53:02.000 Who suggested that we shield the vulnerable and allow everybody else to live their lives.
00:53:08.000 Apparently, Fauci and the head of the NIH colluded on a way to discredit that alternative plan to deal with COVID.
00:53:16.000 In an October 8th email from Collins to Fauci, the head of the NIH called the Great Barrington Declaration the work of three fringe epidemiologists that seemed to be getting a lot of attention.
00:53:26.000 Collins added, quote, there needs to be a quick and devastating published take down of its premises.
00:53:30.000 I don't see anything like that online yet.
00:53:31.000 Is it underway?
00:53:33.000 Later in the day, Fauci sent Collins a wired op-ed that refuted the notion of herd immunity stopping the pandemic.
00:53:39.000 Collins then sent Fauci an op-ed in The Nation also trashing the Great Barrington Declaration.
00:53:44.000 A few days later, Collins emailed Fauci a Washington Post op-ed he was quoted in.
00:53:48.000 The headline, Proposal to Hasten Herd Immunity to the Coronavirus, grabs White House attention but appalls top scientists.
00:53:53.000 Collins said, my quotes are accurate but will not be appreciated in the Trump White House.
00:53:59.000 Fauci responded, they are too busy with other things to worry about this.
00:54:02.000 What you said was entirely correct.
00:54:05.000 So they basically conspired in order to attack the Great Barrington Declaration.
00:54:09.000 At no point did they actually explain why the Great Barrington Declaration was wrong.
00:54:12.000 The Great Barrington Declaration did not suggest that, quote unquote, herd immunity was the solution.
00:54:18.000 They suggested that herd immunity is the only thing ever.
00:54:21.000 That generates the end of widespread pandemics, right?
00:54:24.000 The herd immunity either comes via vaccines or it comes via natural immunity.
00:54:27.000 And they suggested that if you let young, healthy people work, it was not going to be the end of the world and you should shield the vulnerable.
00:54:32.000 But Francis Collins and Anthony Fauci spent their time trying to destroy the authors of this declaration.
00:54:38.000 Now they're, of course, embracing its exact same premises.
00:54:41.000 Well, you know, if you get a case and it ain't that bad, it's not that bad.
00:54:44.000 Yeah, we know, guys, but you tried to destroy everybody who said this a year ago.
00:54:47.000 Here is Francis Collins, who is, when he's not playing guitar, is appearing on Bret Baier, trying to explain that hundreds of thousands of people would have died if we'd listened to the Great Barrington Declaration.
00:54:56.000 I hate to break it to you, sir.
00:54:58.000 More people have died under Joe Biden than died under Donald Trump.
00:55:02.000 What was being proposed there was basically saying, let's not worry about mitigation.
00:55:06.000 Let's just let this virus rip.
00:55:09.000 This is, of course, before we had vaccines.
00:55:11.000 And basically these, I will call them fringe epidemiologists, who really did not have the credentials to be making such a grand sweeping statement, were saying, just let the virus run through the population and eventually then everybody will have had it and we'll be okay.
00:55:25.000 Hundreds of thousands of people would have died if we had followed that strategy.
00:55:31.000 Well, hundreds of thousands of people have died following your strategy, and tens of thousands more young people have died of opioid overdoses because of your strategy.
00:55:41.000 But again, they have to maintain the fact that they were not wrong this whole time.
00:55:44.000 They were wrong the whole time.
00:55:45.000 This is why they are attached to the idea they can still crush Omicron.
00:55:48.000 They can't.
00:55:49.000 Omicron is 70 times as transmissible.
00:55:50.000 It's a common cold.
00:55:51.000 We're all going to get it.
00:55:53.000 It doesn't matter.
00:55:53.000 I'm vaxxed.
00:55:54.000 I'm gonna get it.
00:55:54.000 Okay, I'm just working under that assumption.
00:55:56.000 And for nearly everyone, it is going to be a mild cold, and everyone knows it.
00:56:01.000 But they can't let go of it.
00:56:02.000 So now they're struggling for a new message.
00:56:03.000 So what is their new message?
00:56:05.000 So one of the new messages, pushed by Jeff Zients, who's one of their COVID advisors, is the unvaccinated are all going to die, and everyone else is going to be okay.
00:56:13.000 So if you just listen to us, you'll be fine.
00:56:16.000 Now, here's the thing.
00:56:18.000 That was more true of Delta than it is of Omicron.
00:56:20.000 Sorry to break it to you, Omicron is way less deadly than Delta by all available data.
00:56:24.000 Which suggests that if you are unvaxxed for Delta, and you weren't worried about Delta, you should be about one-tenth as worried about Omicron.
00:56:31.000 And yet they're still trying to scare the crap out of people.
00:56:34.000 Here is Jeff Zients.
00:56:36.000 basically trying to scare the living hell out of the un-vaxxed and suggest also, of course, that they're morally insufficient in some way, which is, which is odd, considering that, again, the vaxxed can pass this too. So really, the danger is to you. If you decide to get not vaxxed at all, you're the one who's decided to undergo that danger. That's kind of your business. But here's Jeff Zients trying to, this is pretty despicable stuff here.
00:56:59.000 We are intent on not letting Omicron disrupt work and school for the vaccinated. You've done the right thing and we will get through this.
00:57:11.000 For the unvaccinated, you're looking at a winter of severe illness and death.
00:57:16.000 For yourselves, your families, and the hospitals you may soon overwhelm.
00:57:25.000 Um, wow.
00:57:27.000 So, so, just to get this straight, they're gonna make sure that you're safe and good if you're vaccinated.
00:57:32.000 If you're unvaccinated, prepare to die.
00:57:34.000 You killed my father, prepare to die.
00:57:38.000 Anthony Fauci is doing the same thing.
00:57:40.000 And it's unclear exactly what he's promoting at this point because they don't have any plan.
00:57:44.000 Their only plan is to scare the living daylights out of you while pretending they know what they're doing.
00:57:47.000 So here's Anthony Fauci saying seven different things a bunch of different ways, running around like Hermit the Frog with his hands flailing in the air while on Jake Tapper.
00:57:54.000 Here he was saying, we're going to see, unfortunately, we'll see record levels of positives.
00:57:58.000 Question, why is it unfortunate if somebody gets a cold and now has immunity to other forms of the virus?
00:58:02.000 Why is that?
00:58:03.000 I'm confused.
00:58:04.000 Here's Anthony Fauci.
00:58:06.000 Where is the pandemic headed right now?
00:58:07.000 Do you expect new record high numbers for cases?
00:58:10.000 And what about hospitalizations and deaths?
00:58:12.000 Well, unfortunately, Jake, I think that that is going to happen.
00:58:16.000 We are going to see a significant stress in some regions of the country on the hospital system, particularly in those areas where you have a low level of vaccination, which is one of the reasons why we continue to stress the importance of getting those unvaccinated people vaccinated.
00:58:37.000 Ken, I'm very much in favor of the vaccines, but Omicron is not going to act like Delta.
00:58:43.000 I don't know why he won't talk about this.
00:58:46.000 Then Fauci's like, by the way, vaccines aren't the answer to everything.
00:58:49.000 But you just said they kind of were.
00:58:51.000 I mean, I've been told by Jeff Zients that my life will be fully back to normal if I get vaccinated, except that you keep shutting down cities where everyone is vaccinated.
00:58:57.000 Here's Anthony Fauci explaining to you what you need to do, which is triple mask, quadruple mask, octuple mask.
00:59:03.000 Your entire head should be covered in masks.
00:59:05.000 You should have masks far beyond your death.
00:59:08.000 You should be masking unborn children.
00:59:10.000 And just to prevent them, From getting COVID before they're aborted, you should definitely mask the unborn children.
00:59:16.000 Also the dead.
00:59:17.000 Disinter your relatives.
00:59:19.000 Bring them up from the ground.
00:59:20.000 And please, mask them.
00:59:22.000 Because they might die from the COVID after being dead for 20 years.
00:59:27.000 Here we go.
00:59:29.000 People think that vaccine is the answer to everything.
00:59:32.000 We can't do it without vaccines, Jake, but we can do a lot more with other things.
00:59:38.000 And testing, for example, both yourself and your family when you're getting ready to do something, go out into the community, or when you're going to have people over your own house.
00:59:48.000 And that's the reason why we're stressing, and part of the president's winter plan is expanding greatly the availability of testing for people.
00:59:59.000 Testing?
01:00:00.000 Truly?
01:00:01.000 Testing?
01:00:01.000 That's gonna do it.
01:00:02.000 You know how many people who are asymptomatic are testing?
01:00:05.000 In fact, it's so bad that the NFL just suspended testing the asymptomatic because they're not idiots and they don't want to shut down their entire league.
01:00:13.000 Asymptomatic testing is the dumbest thing in the world.
01:00:15.000 By the way, you can't even get tests right now because this administration's done a crappy job with the testing.
01:00:18.000 You gotta test your way out of the common cold.
01:00:21.000 But Fauci continues with it.
01:00:22.000 Then he's like, okay, so vaccines are not the answer.
01:00:25.000 Maybe testing is the answer.
01:00:26.000 But testing's not the answer.
01:00:27.000 Maybe boosters are the answers.
01:00:29.000 What's behind door number three, Dr. Fauci?
01:00:33.000 The booster that I spoke about at the press conference today really does bring up the level of the protection to a quite high level and that's the reason why we are really encouraging very strongly that when you're eligible for a boost to get boosted because the data I showed indicated that particularly with Omicron that the level of protection goes really rather low in a range that may not be as protective as we'd like but yet when you get that boost It goes right up there.
01:01:03.000 Yeah.
01:01:04.000 Okay, well, that's actually now what the data shows.
01:01:07.000 What the data shows is that boosters, particularly for the elderly, are worthwhile with regard to Delta because you want your antibody levels high again.
01:01:15.000 But all the boosters do is increase your antibody level.
01:01:17.000 Your B cell and T cell immunity still exist.
01:01:20.000 Again, he doesn't even bother with B cell and T cell immunity.
01:01:23.000 He doesn't even explain, when you explain, when he talks about vaccine protection, is he talking about infection or is he talking about hospitalization and death?
01:01:30.000 He doesn't make clear what the hell he's talking about.
01:01:32.000 What he's really talking about there is infection.
01:01:34.000 He's not talking about hospitalization and death because the two-dose vaccine is still, for nearly everyone under the age of 65, highly protective against hospitalization and death.
01:01:43.000 But now, so now just to get this straight, yesterday he suggested vaccines are the answer.
01:01:48.000 Vaccines are not the answer to everything. We need boosters.
01:01:52.000 Also, we need to mask forever.
01:01:55.000 He literally said yesterday we're going to mask forever on airplanes. For the rest of time, we're going to mask on airplanes. For the rest of time.
01:02:01.000 Are we going to get to the point where we won't have to wear masks on airplanes?
01:02:05.000 I don't think so.
01:02:08.000 I think when you're dealing with a closed space, even though the filtration is good, that you want to go that extra step when you have people.
01:02:17.000 You know, you get a flight from Washington to San Francisco, it's a well over a five hour flight.
01:02:22.000 Even though you have a good filtration system, I still believe that masks are a prudent thing to do and we should be doing it.
01:02:28.000 Okay, this is New York.
01:02:30.000 Okay, you know what New York has?
01:02:32.000 Vax mandates, mask mandates.
01:02:34.000 You noticing something about that case count right there?
01:02:36.000 You notice that?
01:02:37.000 It looks exactly like case counts everywhere else.
01:02:37.000 Weird.
01:02:41.000 But Anthony Fauci has a solution.
01:02:42.000 Okay, so here is the deal.
01:02:44.000 If you guys wish to live in this paranoia of your own making, where you worry every day like Chris Chilesa does, of CNN, you just sit around worrying, fine, live that way.
01:02:53.000 But you don't get to dictate to the rest of us that our lives ought to be miserable.
01:02:56.000 I'm not going to listen to you, because I don't think that you have any relationships with the data.
01:02:59.000 I don't think you care about the data.
01:03:01.000 I think you've created a reality in your head where you guys are morally superior for having listened to the government, even though the governmental actors were not providing you good data and were mainly lying to you.
01:03:11.000 So if you want to live that way, fine, live that way.
01:03:13.000 But guess what?
01:03:14.000 We'll just take everyone who earns from your state.
01:03:16.000 We'll take them down here in Florida.
01:03:17.000 We'll take them in Georgia.
01:03:18.000 We'll take them in Texas.
01:03:19.000 We'll take them in Kentucky.
01:03:20.000 We'll take them everywhere.
01:03:20.000 We'll take them in Tennessee.
01:03:21.000 You want to send all of your productive, risk-seeking, or at least non-crazily risk-averse people, and send them down here?
01:03:29.000 Fine.
01:03:30.000 We'll take all of them.
01:03:32.000 Because this is what you've created for yourselves.
01:03:34.000 You've created a bunch of people who cower in fear every time one of you makes a moronic anti-data statement.
01:03:41.000 Eventually what's going to happen, of course, is that they'll let up.
