00:00:00.000 Zorhan Mamdani, the mayor of New York, had himself a week.
00:00:02.000 Well, first, his administration put out a map of New York's immigrant neighborhoods, 30 of them, and somehow just forgot Little Italy, you know, like the most famous immigrant neighborhood in the entire city.
00:00:12.000 And then, while America is bombing the Iranian regime and they're firing on American bases, turns out Zorhan Mamdani's top international affairs official, why do you even have an international affairs official as a city?
00:00:22.000 Are you in your own country or something?
00:00:24.000 They scheduled a meeting with Iran, like their ambassador to the UN, and didn't tell the State Department.
00:00:29.000 And that only went away when the State Department found out and had to explain.
00:00:32.000 To Mamdani's people, what a city is versus what a country is. 0.73
00:00:37.000 So, no time for little Italy. 1.00
00:00:39.000 Plenty of time for Iran.
00:00:41.000 So, Zorhan Mamdani has decided apparently that Italians are not real New Yorkers. 1.00
00:00:41.000 Alrighty. 1.00
00:00:44.000 Real New Yorkers are from Pakistan or from Bangladesh or Palestine. 0.99
00:00:49.000 There's little Palestine as well. 0.99
00:00:51.000 Little Palestine, by the way, sounds really terrible.
00:00:53.000 That sounds like not a wonderful, incredible place, actually.
00:00:57.000 If it's any, if it in any way mirrors actual Palestine, maybe both don't exist. 0.91
00:01:01.000 I don't know. 0.54
00:01:02.000 In any case, Zorhan Mamdani put out a map.
00:01:05.000 That shows all of these immigrant enclaves.
00:01:09.000 And they missed one called Little Italy, which, of course, is probably the most historically important New York City enclave.
00:01:18.000 So that was like the original Little Italy. 0.64
00:01:20.000 So instead, Mom Dhani just put out a bunch of neighborhoods that he invented, like Little Pakistan or Little Senegal or Little Yemen. 0.85
00:01:32.000 By the way, who wants to go to Little Yemen? 0.52
00:01:34.000 Guys, we're going to go, we need to go visit Little Yemen.
00:01:39.000 Okay, like the Houthis hanging out there, like who's in little Yemen?
00:01:42.000 Again, these are not real names of neighborhoods.
00:01:45.000 He is calling them names of neighborhoods.
00:01:47.000 This is the New York City mayor's office of immigrant affairs.
00:01:52.000 So there is also, by the way, no labeling of Jewish areas in, say, Crown Heights or in Brooklyn or Borough Park or something.
00:02:02.000 Well, in a statement, a city hall spokesperson said the map was not designed to highlight religious enclaves in the Big Apple.
00:02:07.000 Instead, it said it highlights neighborhoods in New York City that have substantial foreign born populations.
00:02:11.000 From regions and countries around the world.
00:02:14.000 Well, I didn't realize that Italian is a religion.
00:02:18.000 And they said Little Odessa, which is featured in the map, has a substantial Jewish population.
00:02:24.000 So great job, everyone in New York City.
00:02:27.000 You ignored Little Italy. 1.00
00:02:28.000 The Italians are pissed. 1.00
00:02:30.000 This is where we need to insert the clip of Tony Soprano explaining that Columbus was a hero here in America. 0.99
00:02:34.000 He was a victim of his time.
00:02:36.000 Who cares?
00:02:36.000 It's what he did.
00:02:37.000 He discovered America, is what he did.
00:02:39.000 He was a brave Italian explorer.
00:02:41.000 And in this house, Christopher Columbus is a hero.
00:02:43.000 End of story. 0.97
00:02:44.000 So again, if you think the Italians, I mean, that, that reaction from the Sopranos, that, that's about where things are going to go. 0.98
00:02:49.000 If you think that Italians in New York City are going to be very high on the getting rid of little Italy in favor of little Pakistan, good luck to you, Zorhan Mamdani. 0.91
00:02:59.000 It turns out again that he has a core constituency. 0.98
00:03:01.000 That constituency is the constituency he is interested in serving all the time, all the time.
00:03:06.000 And that constituency is middle to upper class white people and immigrant populations that he likes.
00:03:13.000 That, that, that is the entire constituency.
00:03:15.000 There's no other constituency.
00:03:17.000 That other constituency voted for Cuomo.
00:03:19.000 He's not going to give him the time of day.
00:03:21.000 Remember, Zoramam Dhani is the guy who literally took a picture of himself and put it up on social media in Black Lives Matter summer of 2020, flipping off a statue of Columbus.
00:03:30.000 It turns out that the inanimate statue didn't care, but he put up a picture of himself flipping off the statue of Columbus with the phrase, take it down.
00:03:40.000 So Columbus needs to go, but we must, must, must inform visitors to New York where little Yemen is, where little Pakistan and little Palestine are. 0.97
00:03:48.000 Sounds awesome. 0.98
00:03:51.000 Unsurprisingly, by the way, Mamdani, who is trying to run the city of New York as though it's its own little polity, its own country or something, a top Mamdani official tried to meet with the Iranian government, which is kind of wild. 0.61
00:04:04.000 According to City Journal, a top official in Zor Mamdani administration's Office for International Affairs made plans to meet with the Iranian ambassador and permanent representative to the UN.
00:04:14.000 Commissioner Ana Maria Arshila was scheduled to meet with Amir Saeed Arifani, Iran's permanent representative to the UN.
00:04:22.000 Alongside a couple of other senior officials in the mayor's office for international affairs.
00:04:27.000 The State Department instead met with Mamdani and his administration to say, Guys, you are not allowed to do that.
00:04:32.000 You don't run your own foreign policy with regard to Iran, as much as Zorhan Mamdani would like to think that he does.
00:04:38.000 On April 16th, a message seen by City Journal was sent to staff within the mayor's office for international affairs, asking them to prioritize diplomatic engagement in part based on whether foreign officials are in political alignment or leftist.
00:04:52.000 That's amazing.
00:04:53.000 So, they wanted to do diplomatic engagement only with regimes that agree with them.
00:04:57.000 And the first place they tried was Iran.
00:04:59.000 Hmm. 1.00
00:05:01.000 I can't imagine why.
00:05:02.000 You mean that Zorhan Mamdani and his priorities match up with the priorities of the Iranian Ayatollahs?
00:05:07.000 Shocking to me.
00:05:08.000 Can't believe it.
00:05:09.000 Just can't believe it.
00:05:10.000 Speaking of which, by the way, this is increasingly just the left. 0.73
00:05:13.000 Abdul El Sayed, the Michigan Senate Democrat, who, by the way, is in and of itself insane.
00:05:22.000 He is going to end up winning that primary over in Michigan, Abdul El Sayed.
00:05:25.000 With the endorsement of the party.
00:05:27.000 And people have been sleeping on how insane it is that this person is going to be a nominee for a major party.
00:05:32.000 Yesterday, Abdul Al Sayed's campaign attacked Haley Stevens, who is his rival in the race, for having voted in favor of a bare bones resolution that passed through Congress paying some sort of tribute to Charlie Kirk and condemning political violence.
00:05:46.000 And so, apparently, according to Abdul Al Sayed, that's really, really, really bad.
00:05:49.000 So, according to Abdul Al Sayed, no tribute at all to Charlie Kirk, no mourning of Charlie Kirk, no signaling of sympathy for the death of Charlie Kirk, but also.
00:05:58.000 But also, Abdul El Sayed was caught on tape saying that he would not, in fact, celebrate in any way the death of Ayatollah Khomeini because too many of his supporters were upset about it.
00:06:09.000 So, yes, that's sympathy for people who support Ayatollah Khomeini.
00:06:13.000 No sympathy for people who liked Charlie Kirk or even thought that Charlie Kirk was just an important part of the political conversation.
00:06:19.000 This is where the Democrats have gone at this point.
00:06:24.000 Now, again, the mayor's office back to New York, they have been trying to start their own sort of foreign relations department.
00:06:33.000 Last month, according to City Journal, Zoramandani intended to meet with Colombian President Gustavo Petro.
00:06:39.000 And the meeting again was called off after the State Department was like, What are you doing?
00:06:42.000 Who do you think you are precisely?
00:06:44.000 But this is the whole thing.
00:06:46.000 Zoramandani doesn't need to be president.
00:06:47.000 He thinks that New York is his flagship city.
00:06:50.000 And he is going to run its own foreign policy.
00:06:52.000 And he's going to make it unlivable for people he doesn't like there.
00:06:55.000 That's how this is going to go.
00:06:58.000 So I know there are a lot of Democrats that say, Oh, well, he talks a big game, but he's not going to be able to do anything.
00:07:02.000 Famous last words.
00:07:04.000 Famous last words.
00:07:06.000 Already, real estate investors are fleeing the city. 0.98
00:07:09.000 Jews in New York City, who are not willing to hide their Judaism beneath a veneer of anti Israel trash, are already thinking about leaving. 0.97
00:07:18.000 And frankly, they should, because a city that elects a Zaran Mamdani is probably not a city that is great for people who traditionally like the country. 0.97
00:07:27.000 And utterly unsurprising that the same Mamdani who's flipping off a statue of Columbus is perfectly happy meeting with Iran. 0.96
00:07:34.000 It is all the same thing forever and always. 0.99
00:07:36.000 That red green alliance. 0.99
00:07:38.000 The Marxist Islamist alliance is alive, it is kicking, it is well. 0.94
00:07:42.000 And it also has that horseshoe aspect where they have the sympathy of people like the Tucker Carlson's, Marjorie Taylor Greens, and Thomas Massey's of the world. 0.95
00:07:49.000 What an amazing video you just watched.
00:07:51.000 Wasn't that amazing?
