00:01:02.000 The university actually announced an investigation into her conduct after she condemned the school as a colonial landlord and police force.

00:01:13.000 Months later in October, she was arrested and charged with felony aggravated battery after prosecutors said she knowingly and intentionally spit on a state trooper while protesting out of a nice facility near the university.

00:01:25.000 She's also author of the quote unquote funky, commie, queer novel, Everything for Everyone, an oral history of the New York Commune, alongside her bestie, co author M.E. O'Brien, a trans communist who also wrote the 2023 book, Family Abolition Capitalism and the Communizing of Care.
00:01:42.000 That novel is a fictionalized oral history of sex workers, anti fascist militants, and survivors of all stripes who band together to create a radically new social order forged in the ashes of capitalist collapse.

00:06:04.000 The defense, by the way, the biggest defense right now that we are getting of people like the Hassan Pikers, you know, people who say 9 11 was justified and all of that, the biggest defense is that now the left has discovered that it's against cancel culture, which is quite amusing.
00:06:16.000 After having spent years destroying the careers and livelihoods of people who say that men aren't women, they are now saying that it's cancel culture not to campaign alongside a man who says that Hezbollah's flag is glorious.

00:06:37.000 And she says, as a member of the Judiciary Committee, I've been absolutely clear that free speech is a constitutional right we must all stand up and protect.

00:06:46.000 Now, again, as somebody who believes that pretty much anybody gets to speak on a college campus, I'm fine with Hassan Piker speaking on a college campus.
00:06:54.000 I mean, I think that it's idiocy that people are inviting him, and I think people are morons to go listen to him, but sure, he has the right to speak on a college campus, a right that I don't believe that he thinks extends to people like me on the other side.
