00:00:35.000 Okay, so when I say that the biggest scandal of our lifetime is unfolding right before us and nobody is noticing, Do you remember this guy named Joe Biden?

00:00:42.000 Do you remember him?

00:00:43.000 He's the current president of the United States.

00:00:45.000 And you'll recall that just a few weeks ago, he was the Democratic nominee for president of the United States.

00:00:51.000 And then he did a debate with Donald Trump, and he completely collapsed on stage and demonstrated to the entire world that he actually is senile, that there is nothing going on upstairs, that he does not have working synapses.

00:01:03.000 That the neurons are not firing.

00:01:04.000 And that became clear to literally everyone, so much so that the entire left-wing press, which had been on Joe Biden's side, decided he had to go as the nominee, but not as the president.

00:01:15.000 And here is the point.

00:01:16.000 The current president of the United States, the most powerful man on planet Earth, by every available description, That person is effectively dead.

00:01:26.000 That person has been dead for years at this point, and he is clearly dead right now.

00:01:31.000 Right now.

00:01:32.000 Which means that the Vice President of the United States, in a typical working scenario, would have a constitutional duty under the 25th Amendment to supplant the President of the United States.

00:01:44.000 Kamala Harris has a constitutional duty today to oust Joe Biden. 1.00

00:01:49.000 This man is not functional.

00:01:50.000 That does have ramifications for the United States and for the world.

00:01:54.000 Yes, thank God the founders built an incredibly durable system in which many of the cogs in the machine can be replaced and the machine continues to function.

00:02:01.000 However, The world is becoming a more dangerous place, not just because Joe Biden was the president, but also because he currently is the president.

00:02:09.000 And it is astonishing to me how we are all supposed to just forget that he is the president of the United States today.

00:02:17.000 Today, he is not alive, folks.

00:02:20.000 He is spending half of his time sleeping on a beach in Delaware, and the other half of his time wandering around into walls at the White House.

00:02:28.000 So tape emerged on Friday, and the first cabinet meeting, public cabinet meeting, has been held in quite a while.

00:02:34.000 But Joe Biden wasn't leading that cabinet meeting.

00:02:38.000 Joe Biden was not leading that cabinet meeting.

00:02:39.000 The person leading the cabinet meeting Was Dr. Jill Biden.

00:02:44.000 Now, Jill Biden has been elected by no one. 0.71

00:02:47.000 She has never won a single vote.

00:02:48.000 Sort of like Kamala Harris with the nomination.

00:02:50.000 That's another story.

00:02:51.000 Jill Biden literally has no public support to be doing what she is doing right now. 0.97

00:02:58.000 Now, MSNBC just reported this as First Lady joins President Biden in Cabinet meeting. 1.00

00:03:03.000 But that's not what's happening.

00:03:04.000 She's literally sitting at the head of the table at the Cabinet meeting and leading the Cabinet meeting. 0.98

00:03:11.000 This is a person with a doctoral degree in education from like the local college who's never been elected to a position ever, but did marry Joe Biden some decades ago.

00:03:23.000 And now she is the sitting president of the United States.

00:03:26.000 This is insane. 0.54

00:03:27.000 At least Edith Wilson had to pretend that Woodrow Wilson was still sentient, even though he was a vegetable. 0.58

00:03:33.000 Joe Biden isn't even pretending.

00:03:35.000 This is a scandal, folks.

00:03:37.000 Did you elect her?

00:03:38.000 I didn't elect her. 0.99

00:03:39.000 I didn't vote for Joe Biden, but he's still my president, which means my president is brain dead.

00:03:44.000 He is not with us any longer.

00:03:47.000 He is not.

00:03:48.000 Here is the tape of Jill Biden leading the meeting, and Joe Biden is sitting there slack-jawed, staring off into the distance, at death approaching.

00:03:55.000 And we're all pretending this is normal.

00:03:57.000 The entire media have decided this is not interesting, it is not worth covering, because the only thing they care about is maintaining the functioning of the democratic media machine.

00:04:05.000 That is all they care about.

00:04:07.000 It doesn't matter who's at the head of it.

00:04:08.000 Slap a new coat of paint on it, call it Kamala Harris, doesn't matter. 0.99

00:04:12.000 The presidency, however, does not work that way.

00:04:14.000 The president has plenary power over, say, foreign policy.

00:04:18.000 So who the hell is filling the seat right now?

00:04:20.000 Who is the president of the United States?

00:04:22.000 I know it's not Joe Biden, but maybe it is.

00:04:25.000 Here's the footage from the other day.

00:04:28.000 For somebody who has worked on women's health issues for her whole career, frankly, as a teacher but also as the second lady and now as the first lady, she said one of the things that struck her the most was the inequities in medical research, funding for medical research for women, so this is an important priority of hers.

00:04:45.000 And Joe Biden is sitting somewhere at the middle of the table just looking randomly at things.

00:04:51.000 He is not the president of the United States.

00:04:53.000 He gave another speech over the weekend in which he was supposed to apparently be introducing a leader from India.

00:05:00.000 And he has no idea who he is introducing.

00:05:02.000 None.

00:05:03.000 He just loses it right in the middle.

00:05:06.000 And now who am I introducing next?

00:05:12.000 Who's next?

00:05:13.000 Distinguished guests, the Prime Minister of the Republic of India.

00:05:25.000 By the way, he's from a small country like ours, low population, but he's become a good and decent man and a good friend.

00:05:34.000 What the hell is wrong?

00:05:35.000 I mean, we know what's wrong.

00:05:36.000 He's not with us.

00:05:37.000 By the way, this is not an obscure world leader.

00:05:40.000 Modi is the leader of the most populous country on the planet, on the planet.

00:05:45.000 And he can't remember who he's supposed to introduce.

00:05:47.000 And he starts yelling into the microphone.

00:05:49.000 That is the person who is currently the President of the United States.

00:05:52.000 How is this not the biggest scandal in modern American history?

00:05:55.000 It's literally happening in front of your eyes, and we're all supposed to pretend it means nothing.

00:05:59.000 Now why?

00:06:00.000 How the hell is it not the biggest scandal in modern American history that the President is not with us brain-wise?

00:06:05.000 It's like, what else is a scandal?

00:06:07.000 Paying too much for your cell phone bill.

00:06:08.000 Not quite the same kind of scandal, but for you, kind of a big scandal.

00:06:11.000 The big phone providers want you to believe you need unlimited data so they can overcharge you.

00:06:14.000 Here's the fact.

00:06:36.000 That's if you're not on Wi-Fi.

00:07:10.000 This is a question we should all be asking.

00:07:12.000 Why are we supposed to pretend this means nothing?

00:07:15.000 The answer is pretty obvious.

00:07:16.000 The reason we are all supposed to pretend that it does not matter that the current president of the United States is non-compos mentis.

00:07:23.000 The reason, again, we were supposed to notice it when he was the nominee.

00:07:27.000 The minute he became not the nominee, then it became irrelevant and we never heard about it again.

00:07:31.000 And in fact, Kamala Harris still goes on national television and pretends he is fine.

00:07:35.000 She literally went on the only joint interview that she's done with Tim Walz.

00:07:40.000 With Dana Bash, and she literally said, he's fine, everything's great, he's doing amazing.

00:07:46.000 He's clearly not.

00:07:47.000 So why maintain the myth?

00:07:49.000 Why maintain the myth?

00:07:50.000 I mean, I understand that there's the shiny object of the election over here, but there's this thing called the United States government with a person at the head of the presidency, of the Article 2 branch of government, and that guy is not with us.

00:08:01.000 So why?

00:08:02.000 Why the coverup?

00:08:02.000 Why are we back to, everything's fine, don't notice what's going on in front of you?

00:08:06.000 The answer is, if we were to notice, that Joe Biden is non-compos mentis.

00:08:12.000 The solution to that is not to replace him on the ticket.

00:08:16.000 The solution is not to make Kamala Harris the nominee.

00:08:20.000 The solution to that, constitutionally speaking, is to make Kamala Harris the president. 1.00

00:08:25.000 So the question becomes why?

00:08:27.000 Why won't she do it?

00:08:28.000 I mean, obviously everyone knows what's true.

00:08:32.000 Everybody understands that Joe Biden is gone.

00:08:34.000 So why?

00:08:35.000 Why isn't she just declaring the 25th amendment along with the cabinet and putting herself in his place? 1.00

00:08:39.000 Why?

00:08:40.000 And there are two reasons. 0.77

00:08:41.000 One is she is afraid that the zombie corpse of Joe Biden will wander the landscape and explain to the American people just how crappy she is as a revenge move.

00:08:51.000 For him being ousted from the presidency.

00:08:52.000 That's part of it, but that's not really the story.

00:08:55.000 The real story is this.

00:08:56.000 Kamala Harris can only run and win if she is not perceived as part of this administration. 1.00

00:09:02.000 If she is perceived as having nothing to do with the policies of this administration, that's the dirty secret of this entire campaign.

00:09:08.000 The dirty secret of this entire campaign, Kamala Harris cannot run on the Biden record.

00:09:13.000 Joe Biden couldn't even run on the Biden record.

00:09:16.000 Even if he were fine, he could not run on his record. 0.99

00:09:18.000 His record is trash. 1.00

00:09:20.000 Which means her record is trash. 1.00

00:09:23.000 She can't run on that record. 0.99

00:09:24.000 She has to run, and she's trying to, as a change candidate. 0.99

00:09:27.000 The problem, of course, is she is not a change.

00:09:29.000 And if you spend one iota of a second thinking about it, you know she's not a change.

00:09:34.000 But she needs the patina of not being the current President of the United States. 0.98

00:09:39.000 She can't politically remove Joe Biden and put herself at the top of the White House without losing the election. 1.00

00:09:44.000 Because then she's responsible for the things.

00:09:47.000 She wants all of the credit for being VP and none of the accountability for anything that her entire administration has done as VP. 0.85

00:09:55.000 The minute she supplants Joe Biden, the facade falls away.

00:09:58.000 The Potemkin village that is this administration falls away. 0.68

00:10:01.000 And Kamala Harris is just the person. 0.99

00:10:04.000 She is the person responsible for this trash policy. 1.00

00:10:07.000 That is why Joe Biden has retained his seat as the President of the United States, despite the fact that he is brain dead, folks. 1.00

00:10:14.000 Look at him. 0.90

00:10:15.000 He's not.

00:10:16.000 We all know it.

00:10:17.000 Why are we pretending? 1.00

00:10:18.000 The entire reason he was moved off the ticket is because he's brain dead.

00:10:21.000 But he's still well enough to be the president of the United States.

00:10:23.000 By what standard of the imagination is that true? 0.98

00:10:25.000 By the way, the rest of the world knows he's brain dead.

00:10:28.000 Why do you think it is that China is getting so aggressive in the South China Sea?

00:10:31.000 Why do you think war is breaking out in the Middle East again?

00:10:34.000 Why do you think that Ukraine has been moving very aggressively into Russia?

00:10:38.000 The answer is they know Joe Biden is dead.

00:10:41.000 Why do you think America's opponents haven't actually cut a deal in the face of all of those aggressive move by America's allies, for example?

00:10:49.000 The answer is they know Joe Biden's dead.

00:10:51.000 It's just going to maintain at this pace from the American administration because there ain't nobody at the helm.

00:10:57.000 The American ship of state is basically just bobbing along on the waters with no one giving it direction.

00:11:05.000 All in order to lie Kamala Harris into the White House. 1.00

00:11:09.000 That's what this entire thing is.

00:11:12.000 Here is the reality.

00:11:13.000 Joe Biden's record is terrible.

00:11:15.000 I mean, truly, egregiously awful. 1.00

00:11:18.000 If you look at his foreign policy record on everything from Afghanistan to Ukraine to the Middle East, it is all garbage. 1.00

00:11:26.000 It is all trash. 1.00

00:11:28.000 She can't run on it. 0.99

00:11:29.000 There is no way for her to run on it. 0.56

00:11:30.000 So the thing she has to do is continue to maintain Joe Biden as president and then pretend she has nothing to do with him. 0.81

00:11:36.000 That's the entire game here.

00:11:38.000 She has to claim credit for all of the supposed accomplishments without taking any of the blame. 0.99

00:11:42.000 The best way to do that?

00:11:43.000 Pretend that he's still the President of the United States.

00:11:46.000 And so far, it's been working because the American people are not spending more than one iota of time thinking about the simple fact that she's the current vice president of the United States.

00:11:55.000 And let's be real, the Trump campaign has done a bad job of tying her to the Democratic platform and to the Democratic Party. 0.97

00:12:03.000 She is seen by the American public, at least large swathes of it, as a sort of freewheeling radical who came in out of nowhere.

00:12:09.000 And that's why, according to the latest New York Times-Siena College polling, she is seen as a change candidate.

00:12:15.000 Now again, that is logically impossible.

00:12:16.000 She cannot be the change candidate being the sitting vice president of the United States.

00:12:21.000 That's insipid.

00:12:22.000 And yet, she's been able to do that.

00:12:24.000 Why?

00:12:25.000 Because the media obviously have been lying.

00:12:27.000 They've been saying that she has nothing to do with Joe Biden.

00:12:29.000 She can switch her positions at whim. 0.98

00:12:30.000 It's totally fine.

00:12:31.000 In fact, that's their entire campaign.

00:12:33.000 MSNBC's Stephanie Ruhle says as much.

00:12:35.000 She said, we don't need to hear any policies from Kamala. 0.99

00:12:37.000 Stop asking for policies from Kamala. 0.98

00:12:39.000 It's useless.

00:12:41.000 Kamala Harris is not running for perfect.

00:12:45.000 She's running against Trump.

00:12:47.000 We have two choices.

00:12:49.000 And so there are some things you might not know her answer to.

00:12:53.000 And in 2024, unlike 2016 for a lot of the American people, we know exactly what Trump will do, who he is, and the kind of threat he is to democracy.

00:13:05.000 Okay, notice the insane juxtaposition right there.

00:13:07.000 We know exactly what Trump will do because he's been president.

00:13:10.000 Well, by that same token, we know exactly what Kamala Harris will do because she's the vice president. 1.00

00:13:15.000 But according to Stephanie Ruhle, we know nothing about her.

00:13:17.000 She's a mystery wrapped in an enigma.

00:13:19.000 So the entire media are pretending we have no idea what Kamala Harris believes or what she will do, but she's currently the vice president of the United States. 1.00

00:13:25.000 It is all a lie, but I'm not lying when I tell you that, you know, when it comes to your kids, they get sick like all the time.

00:13:30.000 This happens to me all the time.

00:13:32.000 The kids are fine.

00:13:33.000 They're bouncing off the walls.

00:13:34.000 An hour later, they're really sick.

00:13:35.000 You can feel helpless.

00:13:36.000 Not to mention, it can turn your plans upside down, especially if you happen to be on vacation.

00:13:40.000 After thousands of customer requests, the wellness company has just launched the Kids Medical Emergency Kit.

00:13:45.000 You no longer have to frantically bother your pediatrician on the weekends.

00:13:52.000 The Kids Emergency Kit has been hand-selected by the wellness company's medical board.

00:14:02.000 The 40-page guidebook is like having an expert by your side guiding you step-by-step even when the doctor's office is closed.

00:14:07.000 Ordering this kit is a lot easier than driving to a doctor appointment, urgent care or hospital.

00:14:14.000 No more late-night pharmacy runs.

00:14:37.000 This entire ticket is running as dissociated from the current administration that she is the vice president of and has a constitutional duty to be president of under the 25th amendment since the president is dead! 0.93

00:14:50.000 Stephanie, so Tim Walz, the vice presidential contender and weirdo from Minnesota with the weird hand-wavy motions from the side of a freeway used car sales lot.

00:15:01.000 So, Tim Walls, he kind of let the cat out of the bag the other day.

00:15:03.000 He was speaking in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

00:15:05.000 And he says, we can't afford four more years of this.

00:15:10.000 We can't afford four more years of this.

00:15:15.000 Okay, what is this?

00:15:16.000 Now, everybody's making fun of him.

00:15:19.000 The entire Trump team is making fun of him because they're pointing out four more years of what?

00:15:23.000 She's the current vice president, but that's the whole campaign. 0.99

00:15:27.000 They have to promote the lie.

00:15:28.000 Joe Biden doesn't exist.

00:15:30.000 In fact, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris never existed.

00:15:33.000 The current president of the United States is not Joe Biden, and it's not Kamala Harris, and it's not Joe Biden.

00:15:37.000 The current president of the United States, according to Tim Walz, is Donald Trump.

00:15:41.000 He's responsible for everything happening right now.

00:15:44.000 And again, so far, it is working.

00:15:47.000 It's at least working to the extent that this race is effectively a dead heat.

00:15:51.000 And Nate Silver is breaking down the numbers.

00:15:53.000 I use Nate's numbers because, again, I think he's the best poll analyst in the business.

00:15:57.000 Right now, he gives Kamala Harris a very slight electoral college probability and a much heavier popular vote probability.

00:16:05.000 Right now, if you look at the polls, effectively speaking, she has a better shot of winning Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin than Trump does.

00:16:13.000 Although each one of those races is inside the margin of error.

00:16:17.000 If you take a look, For example, at Pennsylvania, which is the state of those that Trump is most likely to win, if you look at Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania right now is looking like a very, very slight advantage for Kamala Harris.

00:16:32.000 The latest poll from Marist College has Harris and Trump tied.

00:16:35.000 But Trump hasn't led in a poll in Pennsylvania for about a week.

00:16:39.000 The last one they had him leading was the Insider Advantage poll.

00:16:43.000 The New York Times-Siena College Poll shows her up four points right now.

00:16:46.000 That same New York Times-Siena College Poll, as we'll see, has Trump leading in the Sun Belt states.

00:16:50.000 This is the most likely tipping point state in America because Pennsylvania has 19 electoral college votes.

00:16:57.000 So, Harris, if she wins Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, she wins the election with the exact same electoral map as Joe Biden, assuming she also wins Nevada.

00:17:08.000 And even if she loses Nevada at that point, even if she loses Nevada, then she still wins the election.

00:17:14.000 It gets her to 270.

00:17:16.000 So the point is that it's working for her much better than it worked for Joe Biden.

00:17:21.000 The thing about Joe Biden is that he was losing to Donald Trump before his mental collapse, before he completely collapsed on stage.

00:17:29.000 Steve Kornacki over at NBC's Meet the Press, he was doing his analysis and he was showing a brand new, again, NBC News poll that shows that Kamala Harris has now vaulted to a five-point national lead.

00:17:40.000 Again, this is still inside margin of error, but these are much better numbers for Kamala Harris.

00:17:45.000 You can see that the race has been completely reshaped since Harris took the top of the ticket.

00:17:51.000 Completely.

00:17:52.000 And one of the things powering that lead, we should note too, there's a pretty pronounced gender gap at this point. 0.99

00:17:57.000 Harris among women is leading in our poll by 21 points.

00:18:00.000 Among men, Trump is leading by 12.

00:18:02.000 That is a 33-point gender gap. 1.00

00:18:07.000 Okay, first of all, I don't think that's the final gender gap.

00:18:09.000 I think Trump ends up winning men by significantly more than 12.

00:18:12.000 However, Kamala Harris leading by 20 among women? 0.98

00:18:14.000 That would not be a giant shock.

00:18:17.000 So what does that mean for the Harris campaign?

00:18:18.000 Hide her. 0.98

00:18:19.000 Hide her! 1.00

00:18:20.000 The entire campaign is about hiding her.

00:18:21.000 Making sure that no one ever connects her to anything going on inside the Biden administration.

00:18:25.000 Pretending he's still the president.

00:18:27.000 Again, that's the reason she hasn't gotten rid of him.

00:18:29.000 If she gets rid of him, she is now automatically responsible for everything happening.

00:18:34.000 Automatically.

00:18:35.000 So they have to keep the dead man in place.

00:18:37.000 They have a corpse in the Oval Office and they just wheel him around and pretend he's the president just so that Kamala Harris doesn't have to be.

00:18:45.000 As always in her political career, she avoids all accountability and all responsibility while pretending that she's a transformative figure.

00:18:51.000 That is the name of the game for Kamala Harris. 0.67

00:18:55.000 There's some talk right now from Axios that VP Harris and Trump are both considering a 60 Minutes interview that would air back-to-back on October 7th as a campaign grand finale, which is a weird campaign grand finale since that's October 7th.

00:19:07.000 I noticed that October 7th is a month in advance of the election.

00:19:11.000 The Harris campaign is apparently in active talks with 60 Minutes.

00:19:14.000 Trump sources say an interview is TBD.

00:19:17.000 Apparently the reason that they are considering 60 Minutes is because one of the people who is theoretically being considered for the actual interview with Vice President Harris is a friendly.

00:19:31.000 Apparently.

00:19:33.000 The person they are considering is Bill Whitaker.

00:19:36.000 Whitaker interviewed Harris last fall, quote, providing a familiarity factor to help entice the campaign.

00:19:42.000 They also invited the VP candidates to participate.

00:19:44.000 So it'll be another one of these.

00:19:45.000 Her parents come with her to school principal's office in order to help her through the interview.

00:19:54.000 The entire game is pretending that she's not what she is.

00:19:56.000 That's the entire game.

00:19:57.000 Now it's working because again, she's raising tons of money because she ain't Joe Biden.

00:20:01.000 Her fundraising right now is really outpacing Trump's.

00:20:04.000 According to Axios, coordinated efforts in August totaled $360,000,001 for Harris and her committees, compared to $130,000,000 for Trump's campaign.

00:20:13.000 The Harris campaign raised nearly $190,000,000 directly in August, which is more than the $130,000,000 the Trump campaign, RNC, and other supporting committees coordinated effort raised in August as well.

00:20:25.000 The Trump campaign raised $45 million in August, but they have about $135 million cash on hand.

00:20:32.000 So she is really outpacing him in the fundraising?

00:20:36.000 It is also unclear whether the Trump campaign is doing what it has to do in terms of door knocking and getting out the vote.

00:20:42.000 According to the Associated Press, Republican activists in swing states say they've seen little sign of the teams tasked with knocking on doors and turning out infrequent voters on behalf of Donald Trump.

00:20:51.000 Raising concerns about the party's presidential nominee relying on outside groups for an important part of his campaign operations.

00:20:56.000 According to the Associated Press, Trump and the Republican National Committee he controls opted to share get-out-the-vote duties in key parts of the most competitive states this year, with groups like America Pact, that'd be the organization supported by Elon Musk, or also TPUSA, that's the organization run by Charlie Kirk.

00:21:12.000 It's difficult to demonstrate something is not happening, but with fewer than 50 days until the November 5th election, dozens of Republican officials, activists, and operatives in Michigan, North Carolina, and other battleground states say they have rarely or never witnessed the group's canvassers.

00:21:24.000 In Arizona and Nevada, the must-back political action committee replaced its door-knocking company just this past week.

00:21:31.000 This is a major problem.

00:21:32.000 You got to actually do the work to get out the vote.

00:21:36.000 If that doesn't happen, Then Trump is not going to be able to overcome even the small gaps.

00:21:41.000 This election is going to turn on extremely small gaps.

00:21:43.000 But folks, it's not enough for you just sort of to believe that the Trump vote is going to show up.

00:21:47.000 You actually have to get out there and do the work.

00:21:49.000 You have to go out and do the door knocking.

00:21:51.000 You have to do the on-the-ground work that is required in order to win an election.

00:21:54.000 Don't blind yourself to that, but you should be using Blinds.com.

00:21:57.000 Hmm.

00:22:58.000 Now, the positive news for Donald Trump is that Donald Trump is still running, again, very, very even in this election.

00:23:05.000 This election is a toss-up.

00:23:07.000 By every available metric, this election is a toss-up.

00:23:09.000 The brand new New York Times-Siena College poll in Arizona, Georgia, and North Carolina shows Trump with leads outside the margin of error in Arizona and close in Georgia.

00:23:18.000 He's still leading in North Carolina by a couple of points.

00:23:20.000 We'll have to see if the complete collapse of the gubernatorial candidate, Robinson, over there is going to affect Trump in any serious way.

00:23:26.000 Robinson, despite all of his dicey history, still has not stepped out of the race despite trailing in polls by 10 points or so.

00:23:36.000 Suffice it to say, if Trump wins Arizona, Georgia, and North Carolina, he needs to pick up Nevada, and then he also would theoretically need to change the Nebraska electoral commission.

00:23:46.000 In both Nebraska and Maine, the electoral votes are divvied up by congressional district.

00:23:50.000 So it is possible to win one and not the other, even though Nebraska is a deep red state.

00:23:56.000 So, Nebraska has five votes.

00:23:59.000 One of them is competitive for Democrats because of the congressional district.

00:24:02.000 So there's been some talk about changing that to move that fifth vote in Trump's favor, theoretically, in the election.

00:24:10.000 Which would mean that if he were to win Nevada and then he were to get that additional vote in Nebraska, for example, then he would be able Presumably, to get to a tie ball game, 269-269, and then you get the weirdest election in American history, in which it gets solved by the House of Representatives, led presumably by Speaker of the House Mike Johnson.

00:24:27.000 In which case, that extremely, extremely narrow House majority turns Trump into the President.

00:24:34.000 Now, on the other hand, theoretically Maine could go the other way.

00:24:37.000 So one of the things Nebraska is trying to do, presumably, is delay changing that fifth electoral vote So that it's just a winner-takes-all state until it's too late for Maine to do so and switch it to an electoral vote that is winner-take-all because Democrats win Maine, counteracting the effect of Nebraska.

00:24:54.000 So that's all a mess.

00:24:54.000 Bottom line is, this election is really, really, really good, despite all of the attempts to paint Kamala Harris as a godsend, despite all of the attempts to turn Kamala Harris into something magical and wonderful.

00:25:06.000 Now, what could change the results of this race?

00:25:08.000 What could change the results of this race are, one, A real change in focus by the Trump campaign.

00:25:15.000 She is Team White House. 1.00

00:25:18.000 Team White House sucks. 1.00

00:25:19.000 She owns all of it. 1.00

00:25:21.000 That's all.

00:25:21.000 Repeat it over and over and over and over.

00:25:23.000 Every time she says she has a plan, the answer is, you're the current vice president, you didn't do it.

00:25:27.000 And every time she tries to dissociate from Joe Biden, you say you were the last person in the room, you're responsible for all of it.

00:25:32.000 That's the entire campaign from here to November 5th.

00:25:34.000 That's the only thing Trump should be saying, J.D.

00:25:36.000 Vance should be saying, Vance has been doing a good job of this, Trump less so.

00:25:40.000 That is the only thing that matters.

00:25:42.000 Now, Trump has been saying he won't do another debate.

00:25:45.000 Again, I think that that is probably the right move, given the fact that he does not perform well in these debates.

00:25:49.000 Let's be frank about this.

00:25:50.000 His debate performance against Joe Biden was not stellar.

00:25:52.000 It's just that Joe Biden knocked himself out by not being an alive person.

00:25:57.000 Joe Biden almost literally knocked himself out on stage, staring agape into death's maw.

00:26:05.000 Wasn't it that Donald Trump provided a sterling performance and then against Kamala Harris, he laid down and died.

00:26:10.000 I mean, it was just a bad performance by Donald Trump in that debate with Kamala Harris.

00:26:12.000 It's that simple.

00:26:13.000 Will another debate help him?

00:26:15.000 I'm not sure.

00:26:15.000 I don't think so.

00:26:17.000 Because I don't think he necessarily has the discipline to do what he needs to do in a debate against Kamala Harris.

00:26:21.000 Even though, again, I think she's an eggshell skull. 1.00

00:26:23.000 I think if you flick her, she falls apart.

00:26:25.000 But here he was yesterday explaining why he's not going to do another debate.

00:26:29.000 He has said, I offered her one on Fox News and she won't do it, which is true.

00:26:33.000 The problem with another debate is that it's just too late.

00:26:37.000 Voting has already started.

00:26:39.000 She's had her chance to do it with Fox.

00:26:41.000 You know, Fox invited us on and I waited and waited and they turned it down.

00:26:51.000 He is right about that.

00:26:52.000 Also, would it serve his purposes to debate?

00:26:54.000 Probably not.

00:26:54.000 Run a disciplined campaign.

00:26:56.000 Now, Trump is also ruling out a 2028 run.

00:26:59.000 He was asked about that.

00:27:00.000 If he loses this time, will he run again?

00:27:02.000 He should not run again.

00:27:03.000 If he loses this time, he shouldn't.

00:27:05.000 Because if you run three presidential elections and you lose two of them, at that point, it may be time to move on.

00:27:12.000 Obviously, I want him to win.

00:27:13.000 I hope he wins.

00:27:14.000 I think there's a very solid possibility, 50-50 shot, that he does win.

00:27:17.000 He needs to be focused on the here and now.

00:27:18.000 I think that is what Trump is doing right here.

00:27:20.000 Whether he runs again or not, he said the same thing in 2020, by the way, and then obviously that didn't hold true.

00:27:24.000 So, will I hold him to his word here?

00:27:26.000 Doubtful, but here he was yesterday.

00:27:30.000 If you're not successful this time, do you see yourself running again in four years?

00:27:35.000 No, I don't.

00:27:36.000 No, I don't.

00:27:36.000 I think that that will be, that will be it.

00:27:39.000 I don't see that at all.

00:27:43.000 Now, I think that's his way of locking in for this election.

00:27:46.000 Discipline, focus, and discipline.

00:27:48.000 That's it.

00:27:48.000 Discipline, discipline, discipline, focus, discipline.

00:27:50.000 That's it.

00:27:50.000 That's the entire campaign now.

00:27:52.000 I know it's murky what will actually happen if Trump loses.

00:30:10.000 Now here's the thing.

00:30:11.000 The other thing that can decide this election is not going to be debates.

00:30:13.000 It is going to be the Trump campaign focusing in.

00:30:15.000 And it's also going to be the exogenous events that shape any election cycle.

00:30:20.000 A lot of stuff is happening in the world right now.

00:30:22.000 And a lot of it is happening because Joe Biden is not alive.

00:30:26.000 Now, I'm not sure how much of it is because he's alive and how much of it is because he's just a bad president.

00:30:31.000 Frankly, I'm not sure how the policy would be radically different on foreign policy were he alive.

00:30:36.000 And he was alive for parts of his administration and his foreign policy was a disaster.

00:30:39.000 In fact, there's a case to be made that America's foreign policy has actually gotten better since he died.

00:30:43.000 Again, I'm speaking figuratively here, folks.

00:30:45.000 He's not actually dead, but since he became non-compos mentis and clearly not in charge of his own faculties or bowels.

00:30:51.000 We'll get to more on this in just one second.
