00:00:02.000 Joe Biden unveils his radical plans as the media prays him to the skies.
00:00:06.000 And Republican senators consider whether to impeach Trump after he leaves office.
00:00:09.000 I'm Ben Shapiro.
00:00:10.000 This is the Ben Shapiro Show.
00:00:19.000 Stop putting your online data at risk.
00:00:20.000 Stop that.
00:00:21.000 Get protected at expressvpn.com.
00:00:23.000 It's a brand new week with brand new news.
00:00:25.000 We'll bring you all of it in one second.
00:00:26.000 First, let me tell you, you don't need to spend as much money as you're spending on your cell phone bill right now.
00:00:30.000 You're spending hundreds and hundreds of dollars, too much, on your cell phone bill.
00:00:34.000 Probably because a lot of those big carriers, they'll tell you that you need unlimited talk and unlimited text and unlimited data.
00:00:38.000 You don't need unlimited data.
00:00:40.000 That is how they are getting you.
00:00:41.000 Here is what you actually need.
00:00:42.000 Unlimited talk, text, six gigs of data for just 30 bucks a month from my friends over at Pure Talk USA.
00:00:48.000 When your family switches to Pure Talk, From AT&T, Verizon, or T-Mobile, you could save over $800 a year, which is a lot of money, actually.
00:00:55.000 No gimmicks, no fluff added to your bills.
00:00:56.000 That's why Pure Talk is the top rated wireless company by Consumer Affairs.
00:01:00.000 They're on the same network as one of the big carriers, but they are charging you half.
00:01:03.000 Again, that's unlimited talk tech, six gigs of data for just 30 bucks a month.
00:01:06.000 What happens if you go over on the data usage?
00:01:08.000 They're not even gonna charge you for it, so you have nothing to lose.
00:01:10.000 Grab that mobile phone, dial pound 250, say Ben Shapiro.
00:01:13.000 When you do, you'll save 50% off your first month.
00:01:16.000 Dial pound 250.
00:01:19.000 Okay, so the continuous attempt by the media to use the Capitol riot as an excuse to basically shut down the political opinion of half the country, that is an ongoing thing.
00:01:39.000 It is not going to stop.
00:01:40.000 And it's going to be the story of the next several years.
00:01:42.000 By the way, I said this literally the day of the riots.
00:01:44.000 The theme of the show the day after the riot was twofold.
00:01:49.000 One, what we just saw was evil.
00:01:51.000 It was an outgrowth of people believing things that are not true and buying into a conspiratorial mindset.
00:01:55.000 That was theme number one.
00:01:56.000 Theme number two was the left is going to use this as a baton for the next several years in order to club into submission anybody, anybody who opposes any element of their agenda.
00:02:05.000 See, right now there are some Republicans who are receiving quote-unquote strange new respect from the left.
00:02:11.000 These are people who, very often, I like.
00:02:13.000 People like Senator Ben Sasse from Nebraska, people like Liz Cheney from Wyoming.
00:02:16.000 Do you actually think that Democrats, for more than five seconds, are going to appreciate Liz Cheney and Ben Sasse?
00:02:21.000 Do you think that's going to happen?
00:02:22.000 Do you think the media, five minutes from now, are going to be talking about the wonders of Liz Cheney and Ben Sasse?
00:02:27.000 That's not to say that what they have been saying or doing is wrong.
00:02:30.000 It's just to point out that the left is completely untrustworthy.
00:02:33.000 I'm not talking about good-hearted liberals.
00:02:34.000 There are some of those.
00:02:35.000 They exist.
00:02:36.000 They are in the minority when it comes to the Democratic Party.
00:02:38.000 They are in a vast minority when it comes to our media, for sure.
00:02:42.000 The fact is that the strange new respect being garnered by some of these Republicans will evaporate literally the moment their agenda comes into conflict with the agenda of the left.
00:02:51.000 I know this because I got some of this in 2016, right?
00:02:53.000 In 2016, I didn't vote for either of the candidates.
00:02:55.000 I said neither one of these people meets my minimum qualifications to be president of the United States.
00:02:59.000 And I got a few nice articles from Some of the big newspapers, the strange new respect.
00:03:04.000 And then literally the minute I said, oh yeah, and by the way, I also like Trump's judicial picks.
00:03:09.000 It was like, oh, well, we always knew that he was a crazy right-winger liking Trump's judicial picks.
00:03:13.000 That just shows that he's in league with fascism.
00:03:16.000 And this is the game that the left loves to play.
00:03:19.000 You're going to be their friend so long as they can use you to serve a particular agenda.
00:03:23.000 And then you are the enemy.
00:03:24.000 Well, right now, The left is going whole hog, full bore in attempting to use what happened at the Capitol riot, again, an act of nearly unprecedented evil, right?
00:03:33.000 It was the second storming of the American Capitol building in American history.
00:03:38.000 It was like 1812 and now, right?
00:03:39.000 So that was a very, very ugly, horrifying incident.
00:03:42.000 We are very lucky it didn't get a lot worse because there is some pretty solid evidence that people in the building wanted to do actual violent harm to Vice President Pence, to members of the Senate, to members of Congress.
00:03:52.000 Also, members of the media, members of the tech, Companies, members of the Democratic Party are seeing this as just a way to, as a pretext, frankly, to shut down other alternative sources of information.
00:04:05.000 We saw this all last week.
00:04:06.000 We saw it some of the week before.
00:04:07.000 We've been seeing it for a long time, this goal of the left, which was to sort of chip away at the facade of free speech until it crumbles.
00:04:14.000 Well, now they're not just chipping away.
00:04:15.000 They've grabbed the jackhammer and they are just going to work.
00:04:18.000 Everybody who supported Trump in any way is now guilty.
00:04:21.000 You're a racist.
00:04:22.000 Therefore, your rights do not matter as much as other people who are not racist, meaning they agree with the folks over at CNN.
00:04:28.000 If you're on Facebook, if you're on Twitter, if you have any following, well, you know, you are a danger to the Republic.
00:04:33.000 Because you know what would be great?
00:04:35.000 Unity.
00:04:35.000 Unity through surrender.
00:04:36.000 All you guys have to do is just surrender and then we'll have unity again.
00:04:39.000 Isn't that an exciting piece of news?
00:04:42.000 And there is no question that this is the agenda that is going to be pursued.
00:04:45.000 Now, there are two agendas that are scary for people who are conservative.
00:04:48.000 One is the sort of legislative agenda of the Democratic Party, which does run contrary to American perceptions of rights on everything from economics to freedom of speech to freedom of religion.
00:04:57.000 And we'll be talking about all of those legislative infringements, those executive infringements against your rights under the Constitution of the United States.
00:05:06.000 But there is something else that's happening, and that is the continuation, the deepening, the broadening of a social culture of ostracization, marginalization, and quashing of dissent.
00:05:18.000 America has always run along two tracks.
00:05:21.000 One track is the governmental.
00:05:23.000 And then there's the cultural.
00:05:24.000 And when the culture of the United States is censorious, when the culture of the United States is one that does not tolerate dissent, when the culture of the United States ostracizes particular points of view, very often it is only a moment before that is actually encoded in legislation.
00:05:38.000 And even without it being encoded in legislation, it can make your life absolutely miserable.
00:05:42.000 If you are barred from jobs because of your political point of view, if you are barred from the media Through which you disseminate information.
00:05:50.000 Not media as in like the press, like the medium, plural.
00:05:53.000 If you are barred from the use of social media, for example, because your viewpoints are now considered dangerous, not on the basis of you actually posing a danger, but on the basis that perhaps some nutty person could take your views and then twist them to get to a particular conclusion, and now you can be blamed for the violence.
00:06:09.000 Well, the social situation in which you live is just gonna be made worse and worse.
00:06:13.000 The polarization is gonna get wider and wider.
00:06:16.000 Unity is not going to be constructed this way.
00:06:18.000 Unity is constructed through honest engagement.
00:06:20.000 But what we have right now is dishonest disengagement.
00:06:24.000 And you can see it.
00:06:25.000 The media are pushing this hard.
00:06:26.000 Why?
00:06:26.000 Well, two reasons.
00:06:27.000 One, they're ideologically driven to do it because they sense the kill.
00:06:31.000 They sense the kill.
00:06:32.000 They believe that the Obama coalition created in 2012, which was the quote-unquote coalition of the dispossessed.
00:06:37.000 It was going to be a group of people who had been marginalized by American society.
00:06:41.000 That was their coalition.
00:06:42.000 Various racial, ethnic, sexual orientation groups all cobbled together with college-educated white women.
00:06:47.000 That was going to be the new Democratic coalition.
00:06:49.000 It was the coalition of the ascendant.
00:06:50.000 It was going to wipe away all of the past of America and bring us into this bright new future.
00:06:54.000 It was delayed by the election of Trump.
00:06:56.000 It was delayed by the Republicans in 2010 when the Republicans won Congress.
00:07:00.000 Well, now they're going to move ahead full steam, right?
00:07:03.000 This is the backlash.
00:07:04.000 And they will brook no dissent.
00:07:06.000 They will brook no discussion.
00:07:08.000 The discussion is over.
00:07:09.000 Now is just time to move.
00:07:11.000 Right?
00:07:11.000 That is what we are getting.
00:07:12.000 So there's an ideological sense in the media that now is their moment.
00:07:15.000 Now is the moment to usher in utopia and anyone who stands in the way of utopia is an obstacle.
00:07:20.000 You're either a tool or you're an obstacle in the leftist pursuit of utopia in the media.
00:07:24.000 That is number one.
00:07:25.000 Number two, there's an actual market reason why you want to get rid of your competitors.
00:07:29.000 See, we here at the Ben Shapiro Show and at Daily Wire generally, we cut against our own market interests because we don't like to engage in either regulatory or cultural capture.
00:07:37.000 What I mean by that is we have never said that people who disagree with us should be quote-unquote de-platformed.
00:07:42.000 We have never claimed that you should not listen to Pod Save America.
00:07:44.000 We have never claimed you should not watch MSNBC.
00:07:47.000 We have suggested disagreement with those people.
00:07:49.000 I've said many of those people I think are idiots, but I've never said that their advertisers should pull.
00:07:53.000 I've never suggested that podcasts should be pulled from Apple Podcasts or that people who Who do shows for those outlets should not be allowed to write for popular publications.
00:08:03.000 I've never suggested that any of these places ought to come down, other than when I suggested that maybe mutually assured destruction has to take place because the left is aggressing in this area.
00:08:11.000 Okay, but the left has a market.
00:08:13.000 Now, it would be in my market interest to see all of our competitors go away.
00:08:17.000 It would, right?
00:08:17.000 When it comes to you making money.
00:08:20.000 Getting rid of your competitors is very useful, but that's not what we do here at Daily Wire.
00:08:23.000 We have encouraged people to go join up with alternative services, not only on the left, but on the right, right?
00:08:28.000 People who are in our direct space, quote-unquote, direct competitors.
00:08:32.000 Many times on the show, I have told you that you should go get a subscription at places that you enjoy, right?
00:08:37.000 Places that are not us, okay?
00:08:39.000 And I thank you for doing that, really.
00:08:40.000 We thank our audience, because you make it possible every single day for us to do what we do, and we couldn't be more grateful for that as we surge into new areas.
00:08:47.000 Okay, but when it comes to the media, Again, it's twofold their goal.
00:08:51.000 One, ideological dissent must not be brooked.
00:08:54.000 And two, what if we could just wipe away the competition?
00:08:56.000 They didn't exist anymore.
00:08:57.000 Wouldn't that be nice?
00:08:58.000 Then you wouldn't have to worry about, you know, people watching the Ben Shapiro show as opposed to CNN daytime.
00:09:03.000 What if it just didn't exist?
00:09:04.000 That'd be great, wouldn't it?
00:09:05.000 You know, you think I'm exaggerating here?
00:09:07.000 That this is not the agenda?
00:09:09.000 On wide parts of the left, again, not everybody on the left feels this way.
00:09:12.000 There are some liberals who believe in the possibility of having discussion and dissent and debate, but they are increasingly a minority inside their own political worldview.
00:09:21.000 We'll get to the proof that this is becoming the mainstream of the Democratic Party, if it is not already the mainstream of the Democratic Party, in just one second.
00:09:28.000 First, let us talk about the fact that this time of year, a lot of people showing up at that front door.
00:09:32.000 I got people delivering groceries, you have packages from online orders that are arriving, and for me, I always have to keep track of my kids.
00:09:38.000 I have three kids under the age of seven.
00:09:40.000 They're constantly running around.
00:09:41.000 I only have two eyeballs.
00:09:42.000 I have three kids, and my two eyeballs are fixed together, so I can't actually have one eyeball going in one direction and one in the other direction like the guy from Young Frankenstein.
00:09:49.000 That means that I actually have to have Ring devices around my house so I can keep track of my children with Ring.
00:09:55.000 You can see and speak to whoever is at your door from anywhere right on your phone.
00:09:58.000 You're never gonna miss a visitor, whether it's your neighbor, your dinner, your groceries.
00:10:00.000 You can keep those packages and deliveries safe.
00:10:02.000 With motion detection, you'll get notified even if they don't ring the doorbell.
00:10:05.000 If someone stops by, Or something is going on, Ring will let you know.
00:10:08.000 I love having that Ring video doorbell.
00:10:09.000 I've actually added some Ring security cameras around the house as well.
00:10:13.000 No matter your home, Ring has everything you need to protect it.
00:10:17.000 See and speak to whoever is at your door from anywhere with Video Doorbells.
00:10:19.000 Keep an eye on every corner of your house with easy-to-install indoor and outdoor cams.
00:10:23.000 Protect your whole home with Ring Alarm.
00:10:24.000 It's a powerful, affordable whole-home security system you can easily install yourself.
00:10:28.000 Right now, get a special offer on the Ring Welcome Kit at ring.com.
00:10:32.000 It comes with Ring Video Doorbell 3 and the Chime Pro.
00:10:34.000 It's the perfect way to upgrade your front door.
00:10:36.000 Start your Ring experience.
00:10:38.000 When we moved, my wife was like, get the Ring devices on the house.
00:10:40.000 One of the first things we did, go to Okay, so here is some of the proof that you are seeing a widespread movement to silence dissent.
00:10:55.000 It's a jackboot with a smiley face on it.
00:10:57.000 Really exciting stuff.
00:10:58.000 So Don Lemon last week over at CNN, who again, bills himself as an objective news reporter, which is just hysterically funny.
00:11:04.000 Like in a very sort of Pessimistic sense.
00:11:09.000 It's extremely funny.
00:11:10.000 Like a cynically pessimistic sense.
00:11:12.000 So here was Don Lemon declaring that literally everybody who voted for Donald Trump is a racist.
00:11:16.000 All of them.
00:11:17.000 All 74 million people.
00:11:18.000 And presumably members of their family.
00:11:20.000 Their children will grow up to be racist.
00:11:21.000 So here he is ostracizing literally half the country.
00:11:25.000 It doesn't mean that a voter believes that their vote means what you think it means.
00:11:30.000 Well, but it also believes, it also means that you share something with that person and you must own up to it.
00:11:38.000 And we have to stop saying, giving people an out.
00:11:41.000 For people who represent the worst behavior.
00:11:44.000 Stop trying to make an excuse for people who voted for someone who has those beliefs.
00:11:49.000 You may think that you don't believe that, but in a way, what you're doing, you're complicit with it because you are voting for the same type of person.
00:11:56.000 You see?
00:11:56.000 You're complicit.
00:11:57.000 Everything bad a candidate does, you are now complicit in.
00:11:59.000 So, did you know that every Democrat who was a fan of Ted Kennedy was a fan of him drowning a woman at Chappaquiddick?
00:12:04.000 Were you aware that every single Democrat who voted for Bill Clinton in 1996 was totally fine with him banging women in the Oval Office using cigars?
00:12:10.000 Were you aware of that?
00:12:12.000 Were you totally aware that every single person who voted for Joe Biden was totally in favor of the BLM riots this summer?
00:12:17.000 Like, in favor of the riots themselves.
00:12:19.000 Isn't that amazing?
00:12:20.000 Like, the worst things about all candidates?
00:12:21.000 That's the stuff you're endorsing, according to Don Lemon.
00:12:23.000 Except he doesn't apply that logic to anybody on the left.
00:12:25.000 It only applies to people who are on the right.
00:12:28.000 So that he can castigate them and ostracize them.
00:12:28.000 Why?
00:12:30.000 And then suggest that they need to be ousted from traditional American society.
00:12:35.000 It's funny, there's a guy who's actually my lawyer, one of my lawyers, Kurt Schlichter.
00:12:40.000 So Kurt is a good dude, served in the U.S.
00:12:42.000 Army, I believe he's a lieutenant colonel in the U.S.
00:12:44.000 Army.
00:12:45.000 And he had a piece today talking about maybe what we're gonna need on the right here at the state level is anti-discrimination law that applies to politics.
00:12:51.000 And he makes the point that we now have a situation in anti-discrimination law where as a private actor, you're not allowed to discriminate on the basis of race, sex, sexual orientation, religion.
00:12:59.000 He says, why not on the basis of politics too?
00:13:02.000 Because obviously that is the next step here.
00:13:04.000 We've already moved beyond no discrimination against immutable characteristics, right?
00:13:07.000 It's not about race.
00:13:08.000 It's not about sex anymore.
00:13:09.000 Now it's about things like sexual orientation, which is a behavioral thing, or religion, which is a behavioral thing.
00:13:15.000 So why not do it with politics as well?
00:13:19.000 So, in any case, maybe that's the way that states are gonna move, is that we're gonna now force private companies to hire people regardless of political orientation.
00:13:27.000 Now, I'm a believer that freedom of association is still a thing.
00:13:30.000 We shouldn't be doing this on any front.
00:13:31.000 But if the left pushes this, that is going to be the natural reaction here.
00:13:36.000 And you can see, the quest to stymie, it is widespread, and it is deep, and the media love it.
00:13:41.000 The media love it.
00:13:42.000 Your denizens, the people who are claiming for the last several years, That freedom of speech and freedom of the press were under assault in America.
00:13:50.000 Donald Trump was going to come to the offices of CNN and shut them down.
00:13:53.000 Their ratings have never been better, by the way.
00:13:55.000 Well, a former Facebook insider named Alex Stamos was talking with your most reliable source, Brian Stelter.
00:14:00.000 He is the most reliable of all the reliable sources.
00:14:03.000 His job is to be a media watchdog, which basically means he watches Fox News and then muses about it.
00:14:07.000 Honestly, it's really kind of a sad show.
00:14:09.000 Anyway, Brian Stelter was talking with former Facebook insider Alex Stamos, and Stamos says, You know what?
00:14:16.000 The big problem here is that there are people who can get information from places that are not CNN.
00:14:20.000 We need to cut that out.
00:14:21.000 We need big tech companies.
00:14:23.000 We need Comcast to stop broadcasting Fox News.
00:14:25.000 We need people to just stop watching things on YouTube.
00:14:29.000 What if YouTube just shut those down?
00:14:32.000 They're not being shy about this, guys.
00:14:33.000 They're not being coy, okay?
00:14:35.000 The attempt here to quash the ability, socially speaking, and then eventually governmentally, of people they disagree with to speak is very real, and they're not being in any way reticent.
00:14:46.000 They're not wallflowers about this.
00:14:48.000 Here's Alex Stamos, former Facebook insider, to the nodding of Brian Stelter, who's supposed to be Captain First Amendment over here.
00:14:55.000 We have to turn down the capability of these conservative influencers to reach these huge audiences.
00:15:00.000 There are people on YouTube, for example, that have a larger audience than daytime CNN, and they are extremely radical and pushing extremely radical views.
00:15:10.000 And so it's up to the Facebooks and YouTubes in particular to think about whether or not they want to be effectively cable networks for disinformation.
00:15:17.000 And then we're going to have to figure out the OANN and Newsmax problem.
00:15:20.000 You know, these companies have freedom of speech, but I'm not sure we need Verizon, AT&T, Comcast and such to be bringing them into tens of millions of homes.
00:15:30.000 We need to de-platform all of these places.
00:15:32.000 Now, here's the thing.
00:15:33.000 It sounds nice when you're talking about people who are quote unquote outliers, you know, these radicals.
00:15:37.000 But who the hell is he talking about?
00:15:38.000 Who's he talking about?
00:15:39.000 Well, maybe he's talking about, you know, folks like Alex Jones.
00:15:42.000 I believe that Alex Jones has already pulled off of YouTube.
00:15:44.000 I opposed that at the time, by the way.
00:15:46.000 Not because I agree with Alex Jones.
00:15:47.000 I think Alex Jones is a kook and a nut.
00:15:49.000 But because I don't think that these folks have any standards whatsoever.
00:15:52.000 I think that their standard, for people who should not be platformed on YouTube, is they disagree with me.
00:15:57.000 When he says that Newsmax and OANN ought to come down, I don't think that he believes that because OANN and Newsmax were saying things that were not true about Dominion voting systems and the veracity of the last vote.
00:16:07.000 I think these folks are upset because Newsmax and OA, I think they would apply the same exact logic to Fox News.
00:16:11.000 In fact, there are articles over the weekend exactly applying the same logic to what if Fox News came down?
00:16:15.000 Wouldn't that be nice if we could just create the media monopoly anew?
00:16:19.000 Wouldn't that just be fantastic?
00:16:21.000 Wouldn't that be great in every conceivable way?
00:16:24.000 They're not being shy about this, gang.
00:16:26.000 They want to shut down the dissemination of information.
00:16:29.000 They want it.
00:16:31.000 Here is Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, who, by the way, were chuckling it up with Donald Trump throughout the 2015-2016 race.
00:16:38.000 They were besties.
00:16:40.000 Scarborough and Trump were besties with testes, man.
00:16:41.000 They were just on TV, hanging out all day long, joking about the other candidates.
00:16:47.000 And they were good friends.
00:16:48.000 And there was a rumor that Joe Scarborough wanted to run with Donald Trump in 2016.
00:16:52.000 Now Scarbro and Mika are saying things like, you know what?
00:16:55.000 It's time to maybe we should like de-platform Twitter and Facebook because of the riot.
00:17:00.000 Not because they hate tech bros who run Twitter and Facebook, but because those are places where you can get alternative information.
00:17:04.000 So this is the threat.
00:17:05.000 The threat is do what we want, or maybe we should just de-platform you.
00:17:10.000 Maybe we should get rid of you.
00:17:12.000 I mean, if you can't see the threat here, if you can't see the socially fascistic threat here, I don't know what you're watching.
00:17:18.000 I don't know what country you're living in if you don't see the socially fascistic threat that has been materializing in extraordinarily rapid fashion.
00:17:23.000 I mean, the Capitol riot was chum in the water to people who wanted to shut down freedom of speech and freedom of dissent.
00:17:30.000 Those rioters did something horrible and evil.
00:17:33.000 They believed lies.
00:17:34.000 They believed untruths.
00:17:35.000 They were doing crazy things.
00:17:37.000 There are criminals who should go to jail.
00:17:40.000 It is also true, again two things being true at once, that there are a bunch of people who saw this as an opportunity and now they've ratcheted up the volume in dramatic fashion.
00:17:48.000 Here is Mika and Joe talking about Twitter and Facebook.
00:17:51.000 Because Facebook's algorithms were set up to cause this sort of radicalism to explode, Guess what happened?
00:18:02.000 Their likes exploded.
00:18:04.000 The people following them exploded.
00:18:06.000 So you actually had Facebook and Twitter set up their business models in a way that would lead to the insurrection against the United States of America.
00:18:17.000 It is on them.
00:18:19.000 And here's the best news of all.
00:18:20.000 Members of the media, they cannot identify their own bias.
00:18:23.000 You see, from where they sit, they don't even understand what I'm saying.
00:18:26.000 It doesn't even compute.
00:18:27.000 It doesn't compute!
00:18:28.000 If you say to them, guys, you know, you at CNN, you have a bias, and you've disseminated misinformation many, many times.
00:18:33.000 You spent four years pushing the Russian collusion nonsense.
00:18:36.000 You suggested that the Covington Catholic kids were a bunch of racists.
00:18:40.000 Members of the media spent months declaring that riots were not riots, they were mostly peaceful protests.
00:18:45.000 You spent months declaring that every death in the United States because of COVID was because of Donald Trump.
00:18:49.000 I mean, you guys disseminate information on an extraordinarily regular basis and sometimes you have to actually pay up in lawsuits.
00:18:55.000 CNN was sued and they paid a settlement to the Covington Catholic kids.
00:18:58.000 But if you say that to them, they're like, yeah, but we're different.
00:19:00.000 We're totally different than anybody else, because we are objective.
00:19:03.000 It's not just that they masquerade as objective.
00:19:05.000 It's that they have imbibed into their bones the lie that they are objective.
00:19:09.000 They've imbibed into their bones the idea that they hold themselves to a higher standard.
00:19:13.000 They do not.
00:19:13.000 They hold themselves to a lower standard, because in many cases, they are more dishonest.
00:19:17.000 They are extraordinarily dishonest, not in that they are telling overt lies all the time, but in that they lie about themselves.
00:19:22.000 They lie about what they are and what they are not.
00:19:25.000 If you think that Don Lemon or Chris Cuomo or, yes, Jake Tapper, that they don't have political opinions, and I like Jake, that they do have political opinions, and it is fairly obvious they have political opinions.
00:19:34.000 They do have audiences, and they do cater to those audiences.
00:19:37.000 That's why they're on the air, and the audiences have political opinions.
00:19:41.000 Now, last week, when there was this big hubbub about Politico, because I wrote the Politico playbook.
00:19:44.000 Ooh, world-shattering event.
00:19:47.000 I got a call from somebody over at Politico, and I was talking with that person.
00:19:50.000 And I said, you know, the reason that you're getting this blowback is because 80-90% of your readership is on the left.
00:19:55.000 And they're like, no, I don't think that's true.
00:19:56.000 I was like, then why didn't you get blowback for Chris Hayes the day before?
00:19:59.000 Well, you know, Chris isn't that controversial.
00:20:00.000 Seriously?
00:20:04.000 Or, alternatively, you have no idea what your own audience is.
00:20:07.000 You have such a perverse, bizarre, funhouse mirror version of yourself that you are the only objective voice in a world of bias.
00:20:14.000 It's kind of self-serving, don't you think?
00:20:17.000 We'll get to the complete lack of self-awareness among members of the media, which allows them to push forward with a censorious social sphere in just one second.
00:20:26.000 Let us talk about the fact that if you've got a medical condition and you haven't gotten it solved, that's a mistake by you.
00:20:31.000 You should not be making that mistake.

00:21:32.000 So here's a perfect example of the media misunderstanding their role in the current debate, not understanding their own bias.
00:21:38.000 So H.R.
00:21:38.000 McMaster, the former National Security Advisor to President Trump, he was on CNN and he was talking about media polarization.
00:21:45.000 He said, you know, we have a couple of different sets of media.
00:21:48.000 They are catering to completely different audiences.
00:21:50.000 And McMaster was talking about media polarization.
00:21:53.000 And Jake Tapper responded by saying that, no, there's no media.
00:21:56.000 You know, it's really only polarization from one side.
00:21:58.000 If you want lies, then you don't come here.
00:22:01.000 Hmm.
00:22:02.000 Yes.
00:22:03.000 It's true.
00:22:04.000 CNN is completely down the middle.
00:22:07.000 Only people who want the truth go to CNN.
00:22:09.000 I mean, honestly, I like Jake.
00:22:13.000 Personally, this is so out of touch with reality.
00:22:16.000 Here's H.R.
00:22:17.000 McMaster and Jake Tapper.
00:22:19.000 We have to look at your profession, Jake, the media.
00:22:22.000 You know, why is it that people who lean in one direction politically watch one cable news station, some who lean in another direction watch yours or another one?
00:22:31.000 Okay, I mean, I don't want to get into a conversation about CNN.
00:22:34.000 We have a whole show that does that called Reliable Sources, but I will say there are channels in which lies are told, and there are channels in which facts are told, and people who want the lies, they don't come here.
00:22:45.000 They go to a different channel.
00:22:47.000 No, actually.
00:22:48.000 People who want a particular point of view go to CNN and MSNBC, and people who want another political point of view go to Fox News or Newsmax or OANN.
00:22:56.000 And guess what?
00:22:56.000 It turns out that members of the media, regardless of point of view, will sometimes disseminate lies.
00:23:01.000 They will.
00:23:01.000 They'll run with the story.
00:23:03.000 How many months did we hear that Jacob Blake was an unarmed black man shot nearly to death by police for no reason other than race?
00:23:10.000 A lot of months, right?
00:23:11.000 Turned out that was completely false.
00:23:13.000 Okay, but again, it doesn't matter.
00:23:14.000 It's this perception, it's this self-righteous perception of the media that allows them to push forward with the idea that everybody else should just be shut down.
00:23:22.000 Okay, and this is extended to those who are in the legislative community.
00:23:28.000 So, Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez, who is of course the id of the Democratic Party, she says what all the Democrats apparently are thinking, but won't say out loud because it's too stupid.
00:23:35.000 Here's Representative Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez, D-Twitch.
00:23:38.000 We said that she has now demanded resignations!
00:23:40.000 She's demand- Well, whoop-dee-whoop-dee-frickin'-do.
00:23:43.000 She's demanding resignations.
00:23:45.000 Yeah, and I demand her resignation.
00:23:46.000 Wow!
00:23:46.000 Is it working?
00:23:47.000 No, that's not how anything works here.
00:23:49.000 Anyway, here is AOC suggesting- Oh, sorry, I can't call her AOC.
00:23:52.000 Apparently it's sexist or something, even though it's her Twitter handle.
00:23:54.000 Representative Alexander Ocasio-Cortez, the most honorable of all Congress people, suggesting that it's time to demand resignations of, like, everyone she disagrees with, all of them.
00:24:04.000 I have demanded the resignations of Senators Ted Cruz, Senators Josh Hawley, Republican Minority Leader in the House, Kevin McCarthy, along with many others, because this is not just about political opinion or partisanship.
00:24:33.000 This was about the abandonment of our sworn oath.
00:24:40.000 Yeah, when I think somebody who really shows fealty to the Constitution of the United States, it's the person who believes, literally said last week, that Congress should quote-unquote reign in the media.
00:24:51.000 I feel like that dry ramen guy might point up to the text of the Constitutional First Amendment, literally says Congress shall make no law.
00:24:59.000 But don't worry, it's all about fealty.
00:25:01.000 It's not about partisanship, you see.
00:25:02.000 Because she's a totally objective source, according to herself.
00:25:05.000 The lack of self-awareness is truly incredible.
00:25:07.000 Okay, in just a second, we're gonna continue with the rest of the self-aware brigade.
00:25:11.000 Okay, so meanwhile, the Washington D.C.
00:25:14.000 Attorney General, a person named Carl Racine, he has been attempting to rebut some arguments of the right.
00:25:19.000 So, one of the arguments of the right is, you know, you guys are very much against political violence when it seems to spring from the Trump side, but you weren't so against political violence when it was springing from your side of the aisle five minutes ago.
00:25:28.000 The defense, apparently, from members of the left, Is that, well, yeah, but it's different when our side does it.
00:25:38.000 Yes, I'm noticing the double standard.
00:25:40.000 Here is Washington D.C.
00:25:41.000 Attorney General Carl Racine.
00:25:42.000 He says, you know, Black Lives Matter, that's different from the Capitol riots.
00:25:46.000 When people like General Mattis make clear that what this was was an attempted insurrection into our democratic ways, we know quite easily that the Black Lives Matter protest was unbelievably different.
00:26:01.000 And by the way, do not let Anyone, including Ken Cuccinelli or other elected officials, tell you that Democratic elected people did not condemn the violence that occurred during the summer protest.
00:26:17.000 They always did.
00:26:17.000 Yeah.
00:26:21.000 They always did.
00:26:22.000 It was a weeklong controversy as to whether Joe Biden was even going to speak up about it.
00:26:25.000 Finally, he did.
00:26:26.000 Took him a while.
00:26:27.000 But they always did.
00:26:28.000 Kamala Harris offered to bail people.
00:26:30.000 She tried to bail people out of prison who were rioting.
00:26:33.000 Bail them out of jail in Minnesota.
00:26:35.000 Okay, but it's different when our side does it, right?
00:26:38.000 Because we're the good side.
00:26:39.000 That's the way that all of this works.
00:26:40.000 And the media are declaring that before there is healing, before we come together around some basic principles like facts should matter and violence is bad, there needs to be some sort of reckoning.
00:26:49.000 It's always the reckoning.
00:26:50.000 It's weird because there's no reckoning on the other side.
00:26:51.000 When the other side does something bad, there's no reckoning.
00:26:53.000 They were just correct to do it in the first place.
00:26:55.000 So if you said, listen, we're not going to have a conversation about violence in politics until you guys disown the Black Lives Matter movement, which has expressed antipathy toward America's founding, antipathy toward America's principles, until you stop with the nonsense where you go nice on rioters because they're on your side, or pretend that Antifa is just a philosophy and is no threat whatsoever.
00:27:15.000 Before we get together on that, we're gonna need some of that.
00:27:17.000 Then it's like, no, how dare you?
00:27:19.000 We've always, no.
00:27:20.000 But when it comes to the Capitol riots, then it's like, it doesn't matter how forcefully you condemn the Capitol riots.
00:27:25.000 It doesn't matter how forcefully you condemn the underlying lies.
00:27:28.000 Or you say it was not true that the election was stolen.
00:27:30.000 It was not true the vice president in Congress had the ability to overturn duly certified state electoral results.
00:27:36.000 You are on the bad side.
00:27:36.000 Doesn't matter.
00:27:38.000 We have to have a reckoning.
00:27:38.000 And the reckoning is, shut up.
00:27:40.000 That's the reckoning.
00:27:41.000 There's a piece today from Melody Barnes and Carolyn Janney.
00:27:45.000 Melody Barnes is co-director of the Democracy Initiative at the University of Virginia.
00:27:49.000 Janney is the John Nau Professor of History of the American Civil War at the University of Virginia.
00:27:53.000 They have a piece in the Washington Post titled, In a Civil War, Accountability Must Precede Healing.
00:27:59.000 And then they compare this to the Civil War.
00:28:00.000 And then they say that this is just like when General Lee surrendered to Ulysses S. Grant And how it was bad that Grant paroled Lee's army and sent them home on the promise they would not be disturbed by U.S.
00:28:11.000 officials so long as they agreed to henceforth obey the law.
00:28:14.000 They say, with no consequences for their acts of rebellion, the months after Appomattox saw former Confederates regain local and state control and bend it to their purposes.
00:28:21.000 They passed Black Codes, which limited the freedom of four million newly emancipated men and women.
00:28:25.000 They escalated violence against both African-Americans and white Southern Unionists.
00:28:28.000 The Union might have been preserved by the war, but the mystic cords of memory, which Lincoln spoke of in 1861, had yet to bind the hearts and souls of Confederates to their former enemies, black and white.
00:28:37.000 So first of all, why are you in, why in the world are you comparing like normal Republicans to Confederates?
00:28:43.000 I have a feeling that that might be one of the obstacles here.
00:28:46.000 Who are the people out there who are calling for the Capitol rioters not to go to jail?
00:28:49.000 Is there any widespread opposition to the Capitol rioters going to jail?
00:28:52.000 I missed that part.
00:28:54.000 But, say these columnists, far from co-partners in a healing process, those who rampaged through the U.S.
00:28:59.000 Capitol, and others who are at home cheering them on, have expressed a commitment to continued violence and upending the rule of law.
00:29:04.000 Again, this is such a straw man.
00:29:05.000 Who in America was cheering on the Capitol rioters in any large numbers?
00:29:09.000 Who?
00:29:11.000 Before reconciliation can take hold, say these columnists, we must be clear about who we want to be as a nation and act on values that support the practice of democracy.
00:29:18.000 We must also use our constitution laws and norms to defeat those who don't support them.
00:29:21.000 The lesson that must be learned from the Civil War and Reconstruction is that accountability, not denial, is essential to healing.
00:29:26.000 Yes, but who is calling for non-accountability for people who rioted?
00:29:30.000 And the answer is virtually nobody.
00:29:33.000 And yet, for some odd reason, for some weird, odd, strange reason, it seems like they are claiming that tens of millions of Americans are in favor of what happened at the Capitol riots.
00:29:43.000 And then there is the deeper perspective from Christina Beltran.
00:29:46.000 She's an associate professor of social and cultural analysis at New York University, again, a member of our elite ruling class.
00:29:52.000 She had a piece over the weekend in Washington Post saying, to understand Trump's support, we must think in terms of multiracial whiteness.
00:29:58.000 So she's trying to understand how many people in the Latino community voted for Donald Trump and how many members of the black community voted for Donald Trump.
00:30:05.000 Her answer is they're actually white.
00:30:08.000 Because black-whiteness is a serious problem.
00:30:10.000 It sounds like an oxymoron to you, but apparently, according to this professor, it's a real thing.
00:30:16.000 What are we to make of the leader of the Proud Boys, who is of Latino descent, and more broadly, of Latino voters inspired by Trump?
00:30:23.000 What are we to make of unmistakably white mob violence that also includes non-white participants?
00:30:27.000 I call this phenomenon multiracial whiteness, the promise that they too can lay claim to the politics of aggression, exclusion, and domination.
00:30:35.000 Mmm, good stuff here.
00:30:37.000 So basically, anybody who voted for Trump and is not white, they're still white, they just don't know they're white.
00:30:43.000 But don't worry, this is bringing the country together, you see.
00:30:45.000 It's all bringing the country together, because if you can claim white supremacy, lies at the root of your opposition, well then you can just ignore them, and you can excise them from American public life.
00:30:54.000 Speaking of which, today, there is a piece in the Washington Post from Kevin Blackistone.
00:30:59.000 Kevin Blackistone most famously suggested back in 2013 that the national anthem of the United States was political and shouldn't be played at basketball games, or football games, because it was a war anthem.
00:31:10.000 He said on ESPN it was a war anthem.
00:31:12.000 Nothing happened to him.
00:31:13.000 Now, he is suggesting, of course, that Kelly Loeffler, the defeated, soon-to-be former Georgia senator, who owns the Atlanta Dream, which is a WNBA franchise, that she should be forced out of the WNBA.
00:31:25.000 Forced out of it, because she was thinking of challenging the electoral votes in Congress, but then decided not to.
00:31:32.000 So for that, she should be forced out of her position.
00:31:35.000 Okay, this is how it's gonna go, guys.
00:31:38.000 People are going to be forced out of public life.
00:31:39.000 The media are into it.
00:31:41.000 The media love it.
00:31:42.000 This is what they want.
00:31:44.000 They are desperate for it.
00:31:46.000 And then people wonder why the country is so divided.
00:31:48.000 The country is so divided because you have one half of the country that would like to excise the other half of the country.
00:31:53.000 That does tend to create a few divisions.
00:31:55.000 And you can see this in the polling.
00:31:57.000 There's a brand new Washington Post poll.
00:32:00.000 Okay, and it's all about the incoming Biden administration.
00:32:03.000 It says that only 49% of Americans have a great deal or a good amount of confidence that Joe Biden will make the right decisions for the country's future.
00:32:11.000 That would be 89% of Democrats, of course, but only 43% of Independents and 12% of Republicans.
00:32:16.000 So nobody is actually all that confident in Joe Biden.
00:32:20.000 Beyond that, when it comes to things like Race.
00:32:24.000 Only 51% of Americans believe that they have a good deal of confidence, or any confidence, in Joe Biden.
00:32:30.000 To address unequal treatment because of race, only 50% of Americans believe that Joe Biden is going to improve America's standing in the world.
00:32:37.000 Less than half of Americans believe that he's going to rebuild the economy.
00:32:41.000 The polarization here is pretty extreme.
00:32:43.000 And the reason the polarization is pretty extreme is because there is actually no attempt to understand anybody on the other side of the aisle.
00:32:50.000 There's only an attempt to excise everybody on the other side of the aisle.
00:32:54.000 And the media cheering it on, cheering it on.
00:32:56.000 You want to know, I talk about the media a lot, but the media is the chief method by which you get your information.
00:33:01.000 Okay, it's like if somebody has a vision problem and it turns out that no matter what they see, it is always in a particular shade.
00:33:08.000 You might say, oh, maybe it's the glasses you're wearing.
00:33:10.000 Maybe it's the media or the glasses the American public wears.
00:33:13.000 If those glasses happen to be tinted a particular shade, a particular shade of blue, everything is going to be viewed through those spectacles.
00:33:21.000 And if somebody ever says, hey, you might want to try this other pair of glasses.
00:33:24.000 And then the members of the media are like, no, you can't try those other pair of glasses.
00:33:27.000 Those other pair of glasses can make you into terrorists.
00:33:30.000 Yes, that may have something to do with our common polarization.
00:33:33.000 By the way, the media monopoly that they are attempting to set up here through social pressure against the big tech companies ongoing, through social pressure against you, through social pressure against your employers, what does it result in?
00:33:44.000 Does it result in the kind of balance and objectivity that they proclaim it's going to result in?
00:33:49.000 I will show you some pretty hardcore evidence that no, all they want to do is just establish A monopoly on your informational sources while providing with democratic propaganda.
00:33:59.000 It is obvious every single day.
00:34:02.000 People always said that Trump, he was unique, he attacked the press.
00:34:06.000 No.
00:34:06.000 Folks on my side of the aisle, my parents canceled the LA Times in the mid-90s because of the bias of the LA Times.
00:34:11.000 This is a long problem, and the media's decision to become a tool of one political party as opposed to the other, is one of the greatest exacerbating factors in the conflict that is ripping apart American everyday life.
00:34:22.000 We'll get to more of this in just one second.
00:34:24.000 First.
00:34:25.000 Let us talk about the fact that right now you probably have a balance on your credit cards and it has a higher interest rate than you would prefer.
00:34:30.000 An easy, easy way to get in serious loads of debt is to take out a loan on the credit card and then not pay it back because pretty soon those start racking up exorbitant charges.
00:34:39.000 If you're thinking about the high interest rate credit cards you used over the holiday, it's time to refinance those credit cards.

00:35:43.000 First, let me remind you, last Thursday was an awesome day for Daily Wire.
00:35:46.000 We made our first entrance into entertainment content with our first feature film, Run, Hide, Fight.
00:35:51.000 It is awesome.
00:35:51.000 It is an awesome movie.
00:35:52.000 And you wanna know how awesome the movie is?
00:35:53.000 Head on over to Rotten Tomatoes, because what we do here at Daily Wire is we make stuff you love and the critics hate.
00:35:58.000 That's what we do.
00:35:59.000 Because if the critics hate it, there's a good shot that you're gonna love it.
00:36:02.000 At least from our perspective.
00:36:03.000 Right now, the Rotten Tomatoes rating from the critics on Run Hyde Fight is like 14%.
00:36:06.000 The audience rating is 97% positive.
00:36:10.000 Why?
00:36:10.000 Because the movie kicks ass.
00:36:11.000 It's really great.
00:36:12.000 The movie is an excellent thriller.
00:36:14.000 It has the values that you like.
00:36:16.000 It promotes heroism.
00:36:18.000 It derides villainy.
00:36:19.000 It's exciting.
00:36:20.000 It is not a preachy movie.
00:36:22.000 It is just a good movie.
00:36:23.000 If you missed it, head on over to Daily Wire.
00:36:24.000 You can stream it on demand from our website, mobile, or streaming apps on Apple TV and Roku.

00:36:37.000 Now, as I mentioned, it is not a political movie.
00:36:39.000 It is just an awesome movie.
00:36:41.000 It's about a 17-year-old girl who is fighting her way against school shooters.
00:36:45.000 It's great.
00:36:46.000 And we picked up the movie after Hollywood refused to.
00:36:49.000 And the critics, again, gave it a low rating.
00:36:51.000 We know that it's awesome because our audience loves it.
00:36:54.000 97, 98% over at Rotten Tomatoes.
00:36:55.000 So if that's you, if you saw the movie, and despite what the left thought would happen, actually have something good to say about it, please, I want you to share it with the world.
00:37:01.000 Head on over to Rotten Tomatoes and write a review online.
00:37:04.000 It's time conservatives' opinion are heard in the world of entertainment.
00:37:07.000 This is just our first step toward doing that.
00:37:09.000 We have other stuff in the pipeline.
00:37:10.000 It's gonna be awesome.
00:37:11.000 We are excited to bring you great stories Hollywood refuses to tell.
00:37:14.000 We hope you'll join us.

00:37:25.000 This is the largest, fastest growing conservative podcast and radio show in the nation.
00:37:28.000 And so that new, that new, wonderful, clean and pure dissemination of information, the organs of our media, the ones that you trust, right?
00:37:41.000 You go there for facts.
00:37:42.000 That's all they'll give you is facts, right?
00:37:44.000 It's not that they're trying to set up a propaganda monopoly on behalf of their own ideological point of view.
00:37:48.000 And by the way, it also helps their pocketbook.
00:37:50.000 It couldn't be that.
00:37:51.000 It couldn't be that.
00:37:51.000 I know how objective our media are because I watched a CBS Sunday interview with Kamala Harris by Jane Pauly.
00:37:57.000 Okay, like, and I will tell you, this is interviewing the likes of which I have not seen since, I don't know, like, somebody in the Soviet Union bootlicked Stalin.
00:38:08.000 Like, I mean, this is really solid stuff right here.
00:38:11.000 This is the kind of hard-hitting journalism you are gonna be getting for the next four years.
00:38:15.000 And everybody who doesn't believe this is hard-hitting journalism, it's probably misinformation that they're saying it's not hard-hitting journalism.
00:38:20.000 So Kamala Harris, Who is one of the most phony politicians I have ever seen in my life.
00:38:26.000 It's like Hillary Clinton got more phony.
00:38:29.000 And Kamala Harris is as purely artificial as any character I have seen in American politics, right or left.
00:38:37.000 Whenever she gets into an awkward situation, she breaks into the crazy joker laugh.
00:38:41.000 The media realized how phony she was back in January of 2020 when she dropped out of the race.
00:38:46.000 They're like, oh yeah, yeah, she was really a terrible candidate.
00:38:48.000 And then they have to manufacture enthusiasm for her.
00:38:50.000 By the way, they're not doing her any favors because eventually when she runs for president, They will have set up a bubble around her.
00:38:55.000 The problem is when the media set up a bubble around her, presuming they haven't actually shut down all the alternatives, somebody will prick that bubble and then the entire bubble collapses.
00:39:02.000 That's what happened to Hillary.
00:39:03.000 They protected her as though she was the precious for years and years and years.
00:39:07.000 And then Donald Trump was like, she's terrible.
00:39:08.000 It was like, oh my God, she is terrible.
00:39:10.000 And she just collapsed.
00:39:11.000 Okay, well, Kamala Harris is an awful, awful candidate.
00:39:14.000 She's a bad politician.
00:39:15.000 She is venal.
00:39:16.000 She is off-putting.
00:39:18.000 Everybody knows this.
00:39:19.000 Everybody knew this.
00:39:20.000 She dropped out of the Democratic primaries, again, after having lied about Joe Biden being a racist, and then having suggested maybe Joe Biden should drop out because Joe Biden was a sexual harasser.
00:39:29.000 She did all of those things.
00:39:30.000 I know we're going to pretend that didn't happen.
00:39:31.000 That all happened.
00:39:32.000 And then she dropped out.
00:39:33.000 Everybody was like, yeah, she was really bad.
00:39:35.000 Then Biden plucked her from semi-obscurity and was like, hey, a black woman, I need for my kid.
00:39:40.000 That's what I need, a black lady.
00:39:41.000 So here she is.
00:39:43.000 And then, oh my God, she's unbelievable.
00:39:45.000 Where did you come up with?
00:39:46.000 She was there five seconds ago.
00:39:48.000 She was there, like, literally five seconds ago.
00:39:50.000 She was right there, and you were like, she's terrible.
00:39:52.000 And then Joe Biden was like, ding!
00:39:53.000 And all of a sudden, oh, she's, wow, she wears Converse, guys!
00:39:57.000 Like, she's so real.
00:40:00.000 She wears Converse.
00:40:02.000 Only real people wear Converse.
00:40:04.000 I mean, if she wore, like, you know, fancy, fancy, you know, if she wore fancy shoes, like, then that would also be awesome, but she wears Converse, which means she's a real person.
00:40:14.000 Okay, so.
00:40:16.000 Here was Kamala Harris.
00:40:16.000 She did an interview with Jane Polly.
00:40:18.000 I remember this kind of just absolutely sycophantic treatment.
00:40:22.000 Mike Pence receiving this.
00:40:23.000 I remember this.
00:40:23.000 I remember the softball interviews with Mike Pence where they talked about what a wonderful man Mike Pence was and his tremendous family life.
00:40:28.000 Oh wait, that never happened ever, not for a single iota of time.
00:40:31.000 Here was Jane Polly interviewing Kamala Harris.
00:40:34.000 You have to subscribe to Daily Wire, honestly, so you can see clips like this.
00:40:38.000 Because it doesn't do it justice for you to hear clips like this.
00:40:42.000 You need to subscribe so you can see, visibly, clips like this.
00:40:45.000 Because Jane Polly's reaction is everything here.
00:40:47.000 It's not Kamala Harris.
00:40:49.000 Like Kamala Harris is just as phony and awful as she always is.
00:40:51.000 It is Jane Polly's reaction to this clip that is just, it's just astonishing.
00:40:56.000 It's astonishing.
00:40:57.000 It's everything.
00:40:58.000 Here is Kamala Harris being interviewed by the very objective journalist Jane Polly over at CBS Sunday.
00:41:05.000 I was raised to understand many people will tell you it is impossible but don't listen.
00:41:13.000 I mentor a lot of people and I tell them that there will be people who will say it's not your turn, it's not your time, no one like you has done it and I'll tell them and don't you listen and then I will go on to tell them I eat no for breakfast.
00:41:30.000 What is that?
00:41:32.000 What in the world is that?
00:41:34.000 So Kamala Harris breaks into the crazy Joker cackle, right?
00:41:37.000 Because that's her only line.
00:41:39.000 I don't know what's going on with her, but she like is constantly breaking into this weird, like she starts the sentence with laughter and then she ends the sentence with laughter.
00:41:47.000 And it's not funny.
00:41:49.000 So you mostly get the impression that she has somehow been dumped into a vat of the Joker's laughing acid.
00:41:56.000 Right, that weirdly makes you laugh for no apparent reason?
00:42:00.000 Okay, so she does that.
00:42:01.000 And what does Jane Polly do?
00:42:02.000 She starts mirroring it.
00:42:04.000 She starts mirroring it!
00:42:05.000 Right, the expression.
00:42:07.000 I'm gonna describe it to you because if you can't see it, you should have it described to you.
00:42:11.000 Her reaction is that she goes into an enormous, enormous, open-mouthed, astonished smile, increasing in enthusiasm and craziness.
00:42:22.000 It's wild!
00:42:23.000 It's why I play it again, because it's insane.
00:42:28.000 What is that?
00:42:30.000 What is that?
00:42:31.000 Okay, I'll tell you what that is.
00:42:32.000 That's your entire media when faced with the Democrat.
00:42:34.000 That's your entire media.
00:42:35.000 That is the face of your media.
00:42:37.000 Capture it.
00:42:38.000 Put it on your wall.
00:42:39.000 That is the face of the entire media anytime a Democrat is selected.
00:42:42.000 When it was Barack Obama, that was the media's face.
00:42:44.000 When it's Kamala Harris, that is the media's face.
00:42:46.000 When it's Joe Biden, that is the media's face.
00:42:49.000 But these are the people who are super objective.
00:42:51.000 They are your guides, don't you see?
00:42:52.000 They will tell you when dissemination of information is improper.
00:42:55.000 They will shut down Facebook and Twitter because, God forbid, shows like this one should have greater ratings than the midday crap they put on at CNN.
00:43:03.000 That is the face of your media.
00:43:05.000 Jane Polly, face of the media.
00:43:07.000 Give her an Emmy.
00:43:08.000 Right there.
00:43:08.000 That is it.
00:43:09.000 That is the face of your media.
00:43:11.000 Forever.
00:43:14.000 Okay, the Orwell line is that the future of America is the future of Western civilization under dictatorship.
00:43:22.000 Would be a boot stamped on the human face forever.
00:43:25.000 The future of your media is that Jane Polly face forever.
00:43:28.000 For all time.
00:43:30.000 Because that, those are your truth tellers.
00:43:32.000 Those right there, those are your truth tellers.
00:43:34.000 And it's not just Jane Polly, of course.
00:43:35.000 I'm suggesting she's representative of the media because she is representative of the media when faced with Kamala Harris, who has now been deemed wondrous.
00:43:42.000 Wondrous!
00:43:43.000 Somebody came into the studio this morning like, all my friends love Kamala Harris.
00:43:45.000 No, they don't.
00:43:47.000 No, they don't.
00:43:48.000 They've been told that they should love Kamala Harris.
00:43:50.000 Nobody in American politics, if people liked her, Kamala Harris, she would have scored more than zero in the Democratic primaries.
00:43:57.000 Zero.
00:43:58.000 I was like, no, you've just been convinced because they're going to have, like they had a full controversy for a week over the Vogue cover of Kamala Harris, which was supposedly disrespectful because she was wearing Converse, which she does.
00:44:10.000 Okay, amazing.
00:44:11.000 Okay, but I don't stop there when I bring you stories of the media's bootlicking slavishness to the Democratic Party.
00:44:19.000 How about this one?
00:44:20.000 This is from the religion section over at the Washington Post.
00:44:23.000 Okay, remember, not an op-ed.
00:44:24.000 It's from the religion section.
00:44:26.000 Joe Biden's Catholicism is all about healing.
00:44:28.000 Now he will lead a suffering America.
00:44:32.000 Did Castro's press do any better than this?
00:44:35.000 Hugo Chavez's press was just like that.
00:44:38.000 Joe Biden's Catholicism is all about healing?
00:44:41.000 Is it though?
00:44:42.000 He's been denied communion on the basis of his unwillingness to support pro-life views.
00:44:47.000 Okay, his Catholicism, it's all about healing.
00:44:50.000 He's like the Pope.
00:44:51.000 He's like the woke Pope.
00:44:52.000 It's really exciting.
00:44:53.000 Now, he will lead a suffering America.
00:44:56.000 I can't wait for Joe Biden to grant me some Catholic absolution.
00:44:59.000 I just, I can't wait for it.
00:45:00.000 Honestly, I'm super excited about it.
00:45:03.000 Because when I think of just a brand of Catholicism that heals America, it's definitely the brand of Catholicism that says that we should let boys into girls' locker rooms, that we should shut down religious freedom on the basis of quote-unquote transgender rights, and that we should ensure that abortion is made available to as many people as humanly possible.
00:45:22.000 That sounds like super Catholic stuff to me.
00:45:23.000 This is in the religion section, religion section of the Washington Post.
00:45:27.000 Pitching himself as president, Joe Biden promised to heal America's hurting soul.
00:45:31.000 His experiences with suffering and healing were well-known, including the deaths of his wife and two children, his struggle against stuttering, many political losses.
00:45:37.000 On a bigger stage than ever, Biden was trying to show the country how he did it, through his Catholic faith.
00:45:43.000 Now, Biden will lead a nation deeply in need of healing.
00:45:46.000 With soaring coronavirus cases, thousands dying daily, millions out of work, hunkered down in isolation, he is not facing one America but two, each claiming with new religious fervor that God and righteousness are on its side.
00:45:58.000 As divided as any are Biden's own people, U.S.
00:46:00.000 Catholics, with millions who don't even see him as a legitimate Catholic at all because of his support for abortion access and LGBTQ equality.
00:46:07.000 And the question is how the country will adjust to a man whose faith doesn't feature literal Bible-waving promises to save Christianity or threats that political opponents might eliminate God.
00:46:15.000 Biden presents a less common image, a devout, church-going liberal.
00:46:19.000 The country will soon observe for the first time a president who goes to mass every Sunday, plus on Catholic feast days and sprinkles, conversation casually with scripture, religious hymns, references to religious history, but describes faith's purpose in general, inclusive terms as sustenance for the weary, encouragement for the suffering, and obligation to welcome and care for one another.
00:46:36.000 Wow, I mean that sounds controversial to me.
00:46:39.000 Wow, I can't, why would anybody disagree with Joe Biden?
00:46:41.000 I mean, the man's obviously in favor of every good thing and against all the bad things.
00:46:45.000 And his Catholicism is super-duper-pooper-scooper unifying.
00:46:48.000 So that's exciting.
00:46:49.000 Meanwhile, as if that pathetic interview from Jane Polly wasn't enough, Jessica Bennett over at the New York Times has a piece today called, Kamala Harris Will Make History, So Will Her Big Blended Family.
00:47:00.000 Stepkids, nieces, a doting husband, his ex-wife, what the Harris-Emhoffs can show the country.
00:47:08.000 Remember that time when the media decided that Mike Pence was a very, very bad man because he's been married to one woman for his entire life?
00:47:14.000 And not only has he been married to one woman his entire life, he asks her permission before he goes out one-on-one with women from the office because he wants to respect her?
00:47:21.000 Remember that?
00:47:22.000 That was a national controversy.
00:47:24.000 Well, Kamala Harris's family is now fair game, but only insofar as they are just the most wondrous of all the wondrous people.
00:47:31.000 So much wonder, so much wonder.
00:47:33.000 Guys, if you view anything that is not this, you're engaging in wrong thinking, and you must stop that.
00:47:38.000 You must stop that immediately.
00:47:39.000 Now, what is all of this in service of?
00:47:41.000 What is all of this in service of?
00:47:43.000 Is it going to be in service of a moderate agenda?
00:47:46.000 An agenda that brings America together?
00:47:47.000 Because that's what I've been informed, right?
00:47:48.000 Is that he's bringing America together with faith.
00:47:50.000 Because when I think of faith leaders, I think of Joe Biden.
00:47:53.000 OK, but he's going to bring us all together.
00:47:56.000 But he shouldn't bring us all together with like actual, you know, moderate policy where we kind of reach some sort of consensus.
00:48:01.000 He should bring us together by cramming.
00:48:02.000 Again, all of this is about the cram down.
00:48:05.000 All of this is about a monolithic media propagandizing on behalf of Joe Biden so he can cram down radical policy.
00:48:11.000 That's what this is.
00:48:12.000 It is rife throughout his administration on every issue, on virtually every issue.
00:48:18.000 He's not going to be standing up to the radical left.
00:48:19.000 He's just going to be mainstreaming the radical left.
00:48:21.000 That's all he's going to be doing.
00:48:22.000 We all know this.
00:48:23.000 This is not a secret.
00:48:25.000 Joe Biden is a political phony.
00:48:27.000 He has been a political phony his entire life.
00:48:29.000 There's nothing new about this.
00:48:30.000 He's been in Congress since he was 30 years old.
00:48:32.000 He was actually too young to serve in the Senate when he was elected.
00:48:36.000 He's been in Congress since he was now seven years younger than I am.
00:48:40.000 He's been living on the public toll that long.
00:48:42.000 He's a lifelong politician, but he is a man of moderation and principle, or alternatively, he's just a tool for whatever the prevailing ideology of his party is that day.
00:48:51.000 And the prevailing ideology of his party is radical leftism.
00:48:55.000 Okay, just gonna take one example really fast.
00:48:58.000 Here is Joe Biden's deputy science policy chief talking about COVID-19.
00:49:01.000 So COVID-19 should be the least political element of all of American life.
00:49:05.000 Heal the sick.
00:49:06.000 Make sure those who are most vulnerable get the vaccine.
00:49:08.000 Instead, it becomes innately political.
00:49:10.000 Here was Alondra Nelson, the social science research council president for Princeton University, social science chair.
00:49:16.000 Social science chair.
00:49:17.000 Not hard science chair, social science.
00:49:18.000 Social science is like, Where they do these studies that either confirm what you already knew or are badly flawed.
00:49:24.000 Here is Alondra Nelson suggesting what we need to do about COVID-19.
00:49:30.000 Perhaps never before in living memory have the connections between our scientific world and our social world been quite so stark as they are today.
00:49:40.000 The COVID-19 crisis has inflicted extraordinary suffering, but it has also held up a mirror to our society.
00:49:49.000 Reflecting in its deadly wake, resource gaps and medical disparities.
00:49:54.000 The inequality we've allowed to calcify.
00:49:56.000 Ah, there we go.
00:49:58.000 So again, every single element of American life is going to be geared toward the utopian agenda.
00:50:04.000 It's not about moderation, it's about shut up.
00:50:07.000 That's the next battle.
00:50:08.000 That's been the battle all along here, by the way.
00:50:10.000 That is the next battle.
