00:00:00.000 It looks like Brazil is about to make the solid shift to the right.
00:00:05.000 So, according to new election results in the Brazilian election, Flavio Bolsonaro, who's the son of Yair Bolsonaro, you remember, Yair was the president of Brazil.
00:00:15.000 He lost an election under very disputed circumstances.
00:00:18.000 His supporters launched essentially an attempt to stop Luis Inácio Lula da Silva, who's a radical leftist, from taking office.
00:00:26.000 Da Silva, by the way, had been banned from office for corruption, and then he was unbanned by the Supreme Court.
00:00:31.000 So now his son, Yair, he's been put in jail.
00:00:34.000 His son, Flavio, is running for president of Brazil.
00:00:38.000 And we should point out here that, again, this move to the right that's happening in South America, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, a bunch of countries, it's happening simultaneously.
00:00:49.000 That is a direct rebuttal to left wing ideas being implemented.
00:00:55.000 According to the Wall Street Journal, the result and major victories by conservatives in concurrent congressional and state elections on Sunday underscored the strength of right wing sentiment in Brazil that none of the major polls had managed to capture.
00:01:05.000 Brazil's right has gained ground in recent years, fueled by anger over violent street crime, a growing political cloud of evangelical Christians, and frustration among business and middle class voters over taxes, spending, and the left's stewardship of the economy.
00:01:17.000 Yair Bolsonaro's wife, Michelle, was elected to the Senate.
00:01:20.000 So was another one of his sons, Carlos.
00:01:22.000 His youngest son, Yair Renan, and his brother, Renato, won seats in the lower house of Congress.
00:01:25.000 So now the entire Bolsonaro family is going to be in the legislature.
00:01:28.000 Bolsonaro supporters were celebrating in the streets.
00:01:30.000 Here's what it looked like.
00:01:33.000 Wow.
00:01:34.000 That is a large crowd.
00:01:35.000 I'm going to go to the hospital.
00:01:47.000 Pretty amazing.
00:01:51.000 Those are Bolsonaro supporters.
00:01:52.000 Again, they were basically, I have to say, it is insane how the media treated Jair Bolsonaro as though he was a fascist in Brazil.
00:01:59.000 Lula de Silva came into office and proceeded to fundamentally reshape nearly every institution he could illegally.
00:02:05.000 I'm just going to give you a timeline here as to what Lula did over the course of his career.
00:02:10.000 In 2003, 2004, Lula, the current president of Brazil, called for external oversight of the judiciary and then passed new administrative oversight bodies for all public prosecutions.
00:02:19.000 So basically said, I'm going to run the show now.
00:02:20.000 In 2017, 2018, he was convicted of corruption and money laundering up to $1.2 million.
00:02:26.000 He served 580 days in prison as part of a larger corruption investigation involving $2.5 billion in embezzlement across hundreds of politicians and executives.
00:02:37.000 In 2021, Brazil's Supreme Court annulled his conviction on procedural grounds.
00:02:43.000 And they claim the judge showed bias.
00:02:44.000 It's totally a political ruling that reinstated Lula, that allowed him then run in 2022.
00:02:49.000 And then he defeated Bolsonaro, right?
00:02:50.000 And the entire media treated this as a win for democracy.
00:02:54.000 A win for democracy.
00:02:55.000 And then Lula took office again.
00:02:58.000 And he proceeded to basically change the entire system illegally.
00:03:01.000 Between 2022 and 2024, the Supreme Court dismantled and annulled a majority of convictions and penalties against people associated with Lula.
00:03:08.000 Bolsonaro's supporters challenged the voting system in 2022.
00:03:11.000 That's what led to that storming the Capitol moment, you may remember, from 2023.
00:03:14.000 And then the court stepped in and stopped Bolsonaro from seeking public office until 2030.
00:03:20.000 And then they convicted Bolsonaro and sentenced him to 27 years in prison.
00:03:25.000 So, the Supreme Court basically just became a tool of Lula.
00:03:29.000 They suppressed opposition speech.
00:03:31.000 They insulated Lula from criticism.
00:03:33.000 Well, now the blowback is here.
00:03:36.000 The blowback is here.
00:03:37.000 And it's happening again across countries.
00:03:38.000 Now, there's been some speculation that some of this is happening because of the end of USAID, that the Trump administration killing USAID has put a cramp in the plans of non governmental left wing organizations to impact elections.
00:03:52.000 There is some evidence for that.
00:03:53.000 I won't say there's total evidence for that.
00:03:56.000 USAID was spending up to $444 million in Colombia.
00:04:00.000 $108 million in Peru, $49 million in Ecuador, $42 million for Brazil.
00:04:06.000 It's not clear that USAID was actually causing the turn left, but in marginal elections, it made kind of a big difference.
00:04:14.000 And here, by the way, is a map of countries showing which are right versus left leaning.
00:04:21.000 And you can see the gigantic shift.
00:04:23.000 The red in this particular map is not Republican Democrat, the red is left wing.
00:04:27.000 Look at that enormous shift.
00:04:29.000 Look how the entire map was taken over by blue, in this case, right or center right.
00:04:34.000 And that happened basically since the death of USAID.
00:04:36.000 Again, it doesn't mean USAID was in control of all these elections.
00:04:39.000 It is part of a broader revolt against crappy left wing governance.
00:04:42.000 Speaking of crappy left wing governance, by the way, who's actually going to win the Brazil presidential election?
00:04:47.000 Again, Bolsonaro won 47% of the vote to De Silva's 45% of the vote.
00:04:54.000 Kalshi, one of our sponsors, now suggests that Bolsonaro is likely to win the presidential election outright.
00:05:00.000 86% say Bolsonaro.
00:05:02.000 Lula stuck at just 16%.
00:05:04.000 That is a gigantic flip.
00:05:05.000 Because again, all the polls were just wrong here.
00:05:07.000 Now, again, this is not the only country where you are seeing left wing governance crash and burn.
00:05:14.000 In Spain, the Spanish prime minister, the awful Pedro Sanchez, he's the person who has been open borders, pro Palestine, in favor of great taxation, opposed to President Trump, all the rest.
00:05:24.000 Well, he just called snap elections.
00:05:25.000 He had to call snap elections because he wanted to ram through another one of his socialistic housing programs, and he didn't have support in the legislature.
00:05:32.000 So he called a snap election.
00:05:33.000 He dissolved his parliamentary majority, and then he decided that he was going to call a snap election.
00:05:37.000 By the way, he is very likely to lose that snap election.
00:05:40.000 He might be able to pull off some sort of minority coalition, but that is quite uncertain. 0.97
00:05:44.000 He's been unbelievably crappy at his job.
00:05:47.000 The People's Power Party and the Vox Party are likely to be the new governing powers in Spain if the people of Spain have their wits about them. 0.56
00:05:53.000 Here's Pedro Sanchez.
00:05:57.000 He says he must do more to renew and expand the people's support, to deeply tackle the pending reforms we need, Senate citizens, to achieve a reduction in these levels.
00:06:14.000 We must mobilize and ensure that Parliament gives us a much larger progressive majority.
00:06:21.000 Now, they may not get it.
00:06:22.000 They may not get it.
00:06:25.000 Again, Spain has been horribly governed, and there's a very good shot that the opposition conservative parties end up in power in Spain, which would be quite the feat, for sure.
00:06:35.000 Turns out left wing governance, pretty crappy all across the board.
00:06:38.000 All righty.
00:06:39.000 So, in other foreign policy, the United States has now pulled bombers from its UK bases.
00:06:45.000 Why?
00:06:45.000 Well, because it turns out that the UK has done an unbelievably crappy job of defending our assets on their soil, according to the Wall Street Journal.
00:06:53.000 The US abruptly moved a dozen B 1 bomber aircraft from a UK military base on Sunday because of urgent concerns about a potentially complex drone attack ordered by Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, according to US and European officials briefed on the matter.
00:07:06.000 That planned attack was part of a multifaceted Iranian plot to target the aircraft and kill personnel at RAF Fairford, including American pilots.
00:07:14.000 And again, the US military was warned in late September about a possible vehicle borne.
00:07:18.000 Improvised explosive device, which may have been that Iranian backed attack on the RAF base.
00:07:23.000 So, possibility of drone attacks, possibility of car attacks.
00:07:28.000 Not a shock. 1.00
00:07:29.000 It turns out that Iran is able to use idiot countries that import large numbers of terrorist sympathizers in their favor. 1.00
00:07:35.000 President Trump spoke about this. 1.00
00:07:38.000 He was asked about removing the planes from the UK.
00:07:40.000 He's like, why would we possibly leave them there considering they're doing such a bad job?
00:07:44.000 Yeah.
00:07:49.000 I think we can say that.
00:07:50.000 I mean, they didn't fly out by accident.
00:07:54.000 Yeah, no, but there were some threats.
00:07:56.000 And rather than tempting the enemy, we'll capture the enemy and beat the enemy.
00:08:01.000 But why should we leave them there?
00:08:03.000 So we moved them around a little bit, not very far.
00:08:07.000 Again, not a shock.
00:08:08.000 It turns out that the wild left UK has decided that basically they're okay with importation of terrorism.
00:08:13.000 And they agree half the time with the terrorist agenda. 0.56
00:08:16.000 The UK Green Party, which is the far left party in the UK, has now passed a motion declaring that Zionism, the belief, That the Jewish state should continue to exist in the Middle East is racism and calling for the destruction of Israel wholesale in favor of a single Palestinian state.
00:08:30.000 So, just saying the quiet part out loud, not a shock, because again, a huge part of the Green Party's constituents is green, meaning Islamist.
00:08:38.000 Here is one, Zach Polanski, campaigning for the Green Party in Urdu, which is the language of Pakistan.
00:08:43.000 Miranam Zach Polanski, yeh.
00:08:45.000 Ome, Holbenin St. Pancras, Kasit Kiliya, Kara, who? 0.66
00:08:50.000 Greens, K pressure say, labor nay. 0.92
00:08:52.000 This is where we are now.
00:08:53.000 This is where we are now.
00:08:54.000 This is where we are now.
00:08:55.000 This is where we are now.
00:08:57.000 Greens, Govell Dane. 0.91
00:08:59.000 Oh, good lord.
00:09:01.000 Good lord.
00:09:02.000 Meanwhile, the Conservative parties in the UK are on the upswing again.
00:09:06.000 The widely maligned Conservative Party has a new leader, Kemi Badenoch, and she has taken a leadership position.
00:09:11.000 She's fabulous.
00:09:12.000 Kemi Badenoch, she's terrific.
00:09:14.000 Here she was talking about building a new Conservative Party.
00:09:17.000 The Conservative Party has moved away from its kind of half liberal basis and toward an actual conservatism, largely under pressure from the Reform Party, led by Nigel Farage, which is to the Conservative Party's right on issues like immigration.
00:09:30.000 Here's Kemi Badnock.
00:09:31.000 They will commit to bringing down energy costs, bringing down the welfare bill, securing our borders, and unleashing growth in our economy by cutting taxes.
00:09:42.000 And that commitment is non negotiable.
00:09:45.000 No saying one thing to get elected and then doing another in Parliament.
00:09:50.000 The Conservative Party is determined to win your trust and get Britain working again.
00:09:57.000 Again, Kemi Badenoch, her approval ratings have been rising.
00:10:01.000 It is also true that the Conservative Party has been increasing in its appeal.
00:10:07.000 Right now, in the latest YouGov polls from Britain, Labour continues to hold serve, but they only have about 27% of the vote.
00:10:13.000 Reform is at 22% of the vote, and the Conservatives are at 20% of the vote, which again means that the plurality of people in the UK are not looking for labor victory here.
00:10:26.000 What an amazing video you just watched.
00:10:28.000 Wasn't that amazing?
