The Ben Shapiro Show - The Kamala Hype Machine REVS UP

00:00:04.000 It's proof of life and we are going to be covering it in a live version of The Ben Shapiro Show tonight.

00:00:09.000 Plus, Bibi Netanyahu is on the hill today.

00:00:12.000 Plus, Kamala Harris, oh man, they are revving up the enthusiasm machine first.

00:00:29.000 Well, the Democrats are hoping that you totally forgot about Joe Biden, that it's been like four days and you forgot that Joe Biden is president of the United States.

00:00:37.000 And it seems to be working.

00:00:38.000 The fact is the media are covering Kamala Harris 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and they are covering her with all the syrup they can find because she is an amazing delight.

00:00:49.000 She is just a special person.

00:00:52.000 She is the fun aunt.

00:00:53.000 She is, as the kids say, brat. 0.99

00:00:56.000 That is the take. 0.90

00:00:58.000 that you get from the media these days.

00:01:01.000 With that said, Joe Biden is still the President of the United States.

00:01:05.000 And Joe Biden is supposed to give a big address tonight from the Oval Office in which he explains what the hell is going on.

00:01:11.000 So, according to President Biden, tomorrow evening, 8 p.m.

00:01:14.000 Eastern, I will address the nation from the Oval Office on what lies ahead and how I will finish the job for the American people.

00:01:20.000 Now, I don't know what the hell that's supposed to mean.

00:01:22.000 I mean, by finishing the job, does he mean like his candidacy was finished?

00:01:26.000 Like he's going to put a pillow over the face of the American people and smother us to death?

00:01:30.000 Because that is effectively what his policies have been.

00:01:32.000 Remember, there is still a war raging in the Middle East.

00:01:33.000 There's still a war raging in Ukraine.

00:01:35.000 China is casting its lonely eyes upon Taiwan.

00:01:39.000 The world's a much less safe place than when Joe Biden took office.

00:01:42.000 We still have an inflationary spiral that has put us behind the eight ball.

00:01:46.000 By 20% on many of the prices that we've been experiencing at the grocery store.

00:01:51.000 We still have a stagnating economy with the jobs numbers coming in low now.

00:01:56.000 All of that happens to be true.

00:01:58.000 Our social fabric has been rent by Joe Biden's radicalism.

00:02:01.000 He has violated pretty much all the prescriptions that were put on the President of the United States by the Constitution.

00:02:06.000 But all of that is supposedly going to be put aside by Kamala Harris. 0.83

00:02:10.000 Now, in the dark, while Kamala Harris is doing her thing, Joe Biden will continue being a very, very bad president.

00:02:16.000 That is perfectly obvious.

00:02:18.000 However, I don't think we should forget that Kamala Harris and the entire Democratic Party and the entire media were responsible for the biggest cover-up of our life.

00:02:26.000 It truly was the biggest cover-up of our life.

00:02:28.000 You could say that BLM was a big cover-up, but that was in plain sight and we all knew.

00:02:32.000 The riots were happening in our streets.

00:02:34.000 All you had to do was drive your car to the wrong part of town, or in the case of Los Angeles, to just Melrose Boulevard, and you'd be able to see what the hell was going on.

00:02:43.000 You could say that maybe COVID was the biggest cover-up of our lifetime, except for the fact that there was some conflicting evidence when it came to COVID.

00:02:49.000 At least the media could try to hang their hat on many of the lies that were being told by Dr. Anthony Fauci and the NIH.

00:02:56.000 When it came to Joe Biden's health, his mental status, everyone in the know knew.

00:03:01.000 Everyone, Kamala Harris, knew.

00:03:03.000 Democratic Senators, knew.

00:03:04.000 Nancy Pelosi, knew.

00:03:06.000 And the entire media knew because they were dealing with President Biden on a day-by-day, hour-by-hour basis.

00:03:11.000 And yet we're all supposed to pretend that all that goes away.

00:03:13.000 Their credibility has now been magically restored now that Joe Biden has stepped down and got three weeks of honest media coverage.

00:03:20.000 Kamala Harris, she's stepped in and that means that she's honest now, even though she actively participated in the cover-up.

00:03:27.000 The Democratic line here is it doesn't matter what we knew and when we knew it about Joe Biden's health.

00:03:31.000 It really doesn't matter.

00:03:32.000 Here is Senator Chris Coons, a longtime ally of the President of the United States, saying just that last night.

00:03:39.000 Republicans are going to say that Kamala Harris knew that President Biden wasn't up to four more years. 0.93

00:03:47.000 I mean, they would say that about you, I think, as well.

00:03:49.000 And they're going to allege a cover up.

00:03:51.000 They're going to say she knew she covered it up.

00:03:53.000 How do you answer that charge, considering what we have seen transpire over the last month?

00:04:00.000 First, I think it's BS.

00:04:01.000 Second, I don't think it's particularly relevant.

00:04:04.000 Because what the American people are going to be looking at in November is Donald Trump versus Kamala Harris.

00:04:10.000 And that is a fundamentally different race going forward, and a different electoral challenge, and a different direction for the American people than we were looking at before.

00:04:20.000 I don't think that there is a huge cover-up underway here, and I frankly don't think that matters to the discussion and the debate going forward.

00:04:31.000 Now, notice what he's saying there.

00:04:33.000 He's saying, number one, there's no huge cover-up.

00:04:34.000 Well, I mean, there is.

00:04:36.000 The President of the United States, tonight, is going to retain the presidency.

00:04:40.000 This is the person who's going to retain the presidency, by the way.

00:04:42.000 This is a video of Joe Biden being seen alive for the first time in days.

00:04:45.000 Yesterday, he stepped off of the Air Force One, and he looks like, frankly, he is half-dead.

00:04:50.000 At the least, maybe 75% dead.

00:04:52.000 Here's the President of the United States.

00:04:54.000 He can barely walk.

00:04:56.000 He looks like he's going to be taken down by a stiff wind here.

00:05:00.000 He's wobbling.

00:05:00.000 And he's asked by a reporter about why he's dropping out.

00:05:04.000 And he kind of goes, and then he just keeps walking.

00:05:07.000 That's your president of the United States.

00:05:09.000 Is that a scandal?

00:05:10.000 It should be a scandal.

00:05:11.000 But I will say this.

00:05:12.000 I think that Chris Coons is right.

00:05:14.000 I think when he says that the media have turned their eyes away from Joe Biden, we're going to pretend like none of this ever happened.

00:05:20.000 It never happened.

00:05:21.000 Joe Biden was never the nominee.

00:05:23.000 Like Ellen Page, who's gone completely missing at this point. 0.84

00:05:26.000 Never existed.

00:05:28.000 And if you remember a president named Joe Biden who was unhealthy and who was in fact a Democratic nominee, it's all in your imagination.

00:05:34.000 You're not supposed to remember that any of this ever happened because that would implicate the current Democrats.

00:05:39.000 That would not be about Joe Biden any longer.

00:05:41.000 It would be about who knew what when.

00:05:43.000 With that said, are the American people going to be focused on the cover-up by the time we hit November?

00:05:47.000 I really, really doubt it.

00:05:48.000 And that is precisely why they made this change.

00:05:50.000 They made this change for two reasons.

00:05:52.000 One, they knew that Joe Biden was going to lose.

00:05:54.000 Joe Biden was down heavily in the polls.

00:05:55.000 They did not make this change because Joe Biden is senile.

00:05:58.000 If they made the change because Biden was senile, they would oust him with the 25th Amendment.

00:06:01.000 Which, by the way, is a question that Kamala Harris should be forced to answer. 1.00

00:06:04.000 If she doesn't like his policies, if she thinks he's senile, why doesn't she move for his ouster right now?

00:06:08.000 She should be stapled to his pant leg in terms of her actual policy prescriptions. 0.94

00:06:14.000 She is the one who chooses to keep the senile old man in office.

00:06:17.000 But is that going to be the story?

00:06:18.000 Absolutely not.

00:06:19.000 Democrats are shoving the entire Biden presidency into the closet.

00:06:23.000 And then they are pretending that Kamala Harris just sort of sprang from the earth fully formed.

00:06:28.000 They're pretending that she was the popular pick.

00:06:30.000 Well, the Democrats decided that they no longer wanted Joe Biden, so they shoved Kamala Harris right into place.

00:06:35.000 They did what you might call a job replacement, an upgrade.

00:06:38.000 Well, if you need to do that for your business, but you want somebody better than either Joe Biden or Kamala Harris, you need ZipRecruiter.

00:07:36.000 Here's Chuck Schumer trying to enthusiasm this thing into existence.

00:07:41.000 Again, you are seeing enthusiasm on the Democratic side of the aisle.

00:07:45.000 You're seeing enthusiasm because, number one, Joe Biden is gone.

00:07:48.000 And I think there's a natural enthusiasm that happens when you know you're going to lose and suddenly there is a ray of hope.

00:07:53.000 And then you are seeing a sort of fake enthusiasm for Kamala Harris.

00:07:57.000 And that fake enthusiasm is being generated in outsized amounts by the media.

00:08:02.000 Chuck Schumer tried to enthusiasm this thing yesterday. 0.98

00:08:04.000 It was actually quite pathetic. 0.89

00:08:05.000 He was in front of the press and he was waiting for the press to literally clap for him. 0.97

00:08:09.000 I'm not even kidding.

00:08:10.000 That's a thing that happened.

00:08:11.000 Here is the Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer announcing that he was throwing his support behind Vice President Harris.

00:08:18.000 Now that the process has played out from the grassroots bottom up, we are here today to throw our support behind Vice President Kamala Harris.

00:08:30.000 I'm clapping.

00:08:31.000 You don't have to.

00:08:33.000 What's your case to the American people and to the Democratic voters that voted for Joe Biden that this isn't a coronation?

00:08:38.000 The bottom line, it was a bottom-up process.

00:08:41.000 People just rallied right to her side.

00:08:44.000 The enthusiasm in this big, diverse, representative party was amazing.

00:08:50.000 It was palpable.

00:08:51.000 You could cut it with a knife. 0.79

00:08:54.000 Okay, this is a lie. 1.00

00:08:55.000 This is a lie.

00:08:56.000 In what way was this grassroots?

00:08:58.000 They literally had primaries.

00:08:59.000 Primaries are a grassroots process.

00:09:00.000 Now, you may not like that Joe Biden won the primaries.

00:09:02.000 You may think the Democratic Party should have unlocked the primaries so more candidates could run against Joe Biden.

00:09:07.000 But to pretend that this is grassroots is insane.

00:09:09.000 Nancy Pelosi was in the back room with a stiletto, jabbing it over and over into Joe Biden's neck. 1.00

00:09:14.000 Barack Obama was standing behind Joe Biden with a Garrett.

00:09:18.000 This insane, bizarre notion that this was a grassroots operation to get rid of Joe Biden, it is totally crazy.

00:09:24.000 Now, the grassroots may go along with it, the grassroots may be very happy about it, but to pretend that this was not the Democratic Party elites offing Joe Biden is, of course, a total lie.

00:09:32.000 They also have to say that because then they have to suggest that there was wild enthusiasm for Harris, not just wild enthusiasm for getting rid of Biden.

00:09:39.000 Because two things actually happened here.

00:09:41.000 There was wild Democratic base enthusiasm for getting rid of Joe Biden.

00:09:44.000 People did want Biden out, but there was no grassroots enthusiasm for Kamala, who has a 38% approval rating and is wildly charmless.

00:09:52.000 And millions of Americans didn't come together because they desperately wanted Kamala Harris. 1.00

00:09:55.000 That's being foisted upon them by the party system, for sure.

00:09:59.000 But Hakeem Jeffries is trying the same thing.

00:10:00.000 Here's the House Minority Leader saying the same sort of stuff.

00:10:05.000 Vice President Harris has earned the nomination from the grassroots up and not the top down.

00:10:17.000 She is ready.

00:10:18.000 She is willing.

00:10:19.000 She is able.

00:10:21.000 To energetically and emphatically lead America into the future.

00:10:29.000 Earned what?

00:10:30.000 Earned what?

00:10:31.000 How did she earn this?

00:10:32.000 Precisely how?

00:10:33.000 Please explain.

00:10:34.000 Did she spend one iota of one day campaigning for the presidency? 1.00

00:10:38.000 I mean, there were primaries.

00:10:40.000 Did she primary her boss? 0.91

00:10:41.000 She's done that before, by the way.

00:10:42.000 When she was the San Francisco DA candidate, she literally ran against her own boss.

00:10:47.000 Is that what she did here?

00:10:49.000 Now, is any of this going to matter?

00:10:50.000 The answer is it's incredibly frustrating to watch as a political observer when you are lied to.

00:10:54.000 It's really, really annoying.

00:10:56.000 And these people are lying.

00:10:58.000 It all happened right in front of us, and now we are being gaslit about the very process by which Joe Biden was ousted.

00:11:03.000 It's a total gaslighting.

00:11:04.000 Kamala Harris was appointed by the Democratic Party elite to replace Joe Biden because they wanted to keep his $100 million war chest intact.

00:11:11.000 They went to the donors, they got the donors to drop a money bomb on her inside the first three days of the campaign so they could pretend that they had $200 million of grassroots support or some such nonsense. 1.00

00:11:21.000 This is all created.

00:11:23.000 It is all fake.

00:11:24.000 It is all airsats.

00:11:26.000 With that said, is the race changed?

00:11:27.000 Yes.

00:11:28.000 And if Republicans get stuck in the mode of talking about Joe Biden from here to the election, Democrats are going to win.

00:11:34.000 Because the case is very simple here.

00:11:37.000 It always was.

00:11:39.000 Whoever this election is a referendum on is going to lose.

00:11:43.000 For a while, it was Joe Biden.

00:11:45.000 For nearly the entirety of the race, it was Joe Biden because he's the current president of the United States.

00:11:48.000 And Democrats pulled a fast one.

00:11:50.000 They got rid of him in favor of her.

00:11:53.000 Now, I know a lot of Republicans are sitting around thinking, yes, but she's wildly unpopular. 1.00

00:11:56.000 People hate her.

00:11:57.000 No one knows who she is.

00:11:58.000 If you ask the everyday American the name of the vice president, many do not know.

00:12:03.000 Very few know anything about her.

00:12:04.000 Certainly, almost nobody knows her record because vice presidents generally get picked from quasi-obscurity.

00:12:10.000 Vice presidents are mostly only famous for being a vice president, not for what they did before they were the vice president.

00:12:15.000 And that's certainly true for Kamala Harris, who was in the United States Senate for all of 27 seconds and then ran a wildly and terribly unsuccessful presidential campaign. 1.00

00:12:23.000 Which means Republicans are going to have to introduce this fresh character to the American people.

00:12:28.000 That is their job.

00:12:29.000 This means that this is a fresh race and it means there can be no errors by the Republican team.

00:12:34.000 None.

00:12:34.000 It means whatever get-out-the-vote effort they've got going needs to be top-notch.

00:12:39.000 This is not the time for testing new theories about get-out-the-vote.

00:12:42.000 This is the time for winning.

00:12:44.000 This is not the time for testing new theories about how to go after Kamala Harris.

00:12:47.000 This is time to go after Kamala Harris on her record.

00:12:50.000 Can Republicans act with that kind of discipline?

00:12:53.000 Because the reality is that for the past several weeks, Donald Trump has been a more disciplined candidate.

00:12:59.000 With that said, there's a lot of buyer's remorse in sort of political circles these days about J.D.

00:13:03.000 Vance as his VP candidate, not because anybody dislikes J.D.

00:13:06.000 Vance, but because J.D.

00:13:07.000 Vance doesn't necessarily add to the appeal that you're looking for against a candidate like Kamala Harris.

00:13:12.000 If you're running against Joe Biden, you can pick somebody for legacy, but if you're running against a competitive candidate who is not Joe Biden, who is not fully dead, maybe it wouldn't be better to pick a Glenn Youngkin from Virginia.

00:13:21.000 But it's too late for that.

00:13:22.000 So the bottom line here is that the Donald Trump campaign cannot afford any mistakes at this point.

00:13:29.000 As in none.

00:13:30.000 And the Trump campaign is basically acknowledging that at this point.

00:13:33.000 Well, the Trump campaign has to run a very, very strong campaign.

00:13:36.000 They can't be making mistakes.

00:13:37.000 You know what's one thing that causes me to make mistakes when I don't get enough sleep?

00:13:40.000 And you know what caused me not to get enough sleep?

00:13:42.000 Not having my Helix sleep mattress.

00:13:44.000 That's what.

00:14:36.000 That's helixsleep.com slash Ben.

00:14:39.000 Tony Fabrizio, who is a member of Team Trump, they put out a memo pointing out that there will almost certainly be a Harris polling bump from here all the way through the Democratic National Convention.

00:14:49.000 Quote, many of you have heard me refer to the upcoming Harris honeymoon that I expect to see

00:14:53.000 in the public polling over the next couple of weeks. As I've explained, the honeymoon will be

00:14:56.000 a manifestation of the wall-to-wall coverage Harris receives from the MSN. The coverage will be

00:15:00.000 largely positive and will certainly energize Democrats and some other parts of their coalition,

00:15:04.000 at least in the short term.

00:15:05.000 And that's the key.

00:15:06.000 Is it in the short term or not?

00:15:07.000 I have a feeling that it is in the short term because, again, once people take a look at Kamala Harris, she's an extraordinarily charmless and annoying candidate. 1.00

00:15:15.000 She is cloying. 0.67

00:15:16.000 She's nasal. 1.00

00:15:17.000 She's pretty terrible, just as a quality of a candidate. 1.00

00:15:20.000 And it turns out that people who look fairly good on paper very often implode on the national stage.

00:15:25.000 That was certainly true of Kamala the first time around when she ran for president in 2019-2020. 0.99

00:15:31.000 So, is the enthusiasm likely to fall away?

00:15:33.000 Well, again, this goes to the Harris campaign.

00:15:35.000 Can Kamala Harris stay out of the public eye? 1.00

00:15:37.000 She actually needs to run the basement strategy. 1.00

00:15:39.000 She needs to go out and do rallies, where she'll be very comfortable, and she needs to avoid anything remotely like a tough interview.

00:15:43.000 Now, the media may help her out. 0.86

00:15:45.000 The media have swiveled into her camp.

00:15:46.000 They see a new opportunity to get rid of the most hated man in America, Donald Trump, and they are presumably going to ask her only questions about her favorite dance music and why she is such a nice woman.

00:15:58.000 We can expect that sort of media treatment.

00:15:59.000 But is the bump going to be long-term or short-term?

00:16:01.000 The problem is this is a short-term election now.

00:16:03.000 It is currently the end of July.

00:16:05.000 We have August, September, October, and that's it.

00:16:09.000 Short-term better be real short-term.

00:16:12.000 Tony Fabrizio says, We will start to see public polling, particularly national

00:16:16.000 public polls, where Harris is gaining on or even leading President Trump.

00:16:19.000 Obviously, the situation we find ourselves in today is totally uncharted territory

00:16:22.000 and has no modern historical parallel.

00:16:24.000 But there are some things that haven't changed.

00:16:25.000 Due to the events of the past two weeks, including our highly successful convention,

00:16:28.000 President Trump has seen a bump in his numbers in a number of recent public polls.

00:16:32.000 Not surprising, given that most candidates historically receive some type of bump.

00:16:35.000 Given what has happened over the past couple days and her impending VP choice,

00:16:39.000 there's no question Harris will get her bump earlier than the Democrat convention. 0.60

00:16:42.000 That bump is likely starting to show itself over the next few days and will last a while until the race settles back down.

00:16:47.000 The Democrats and the MSM will try and tout these polls as proof the race has changed.

00:16:51.000 The fundamentals, however, of the race stay the same.

00:16:53.000 Again, this is Donald Trump's pollster.

00:16:54.000 This is Tony Fabrizio.

00:16:55.000 The Democrats' deposing one nominee for another does not change voters' discontent over the economy, inflation, crime, the open border, housing costs, Not to mention concern over two foreign wars.

00:17:04.000 Before long, Harris' honeymoon will end and voters will refocus on her role as Biden's partner and co-pilot.

00:17:08.000 As importantly, voters will also learn about Harris' dangerously liberal record before becoming Biden's partner in creating historic inflation.

00:17:15.000 She cast the deciding vote on the Inflation Reduction Act, flood of illegal immigrants at the southern border, she's Biden's border czar, and migrant crime that is threatening our families and communities. 0.90

00:17:22.000 She set illegals free, who went on to commit violent crime as DA. 0.93

00:17:25.000 So while the public polls may change in the short run and she may consolidate a bit more of the Democrat base, Harris can't change who she is or what she's done. 0.51

00:17:31.000 Stay tuned.

00:17:32.000 I think that that is an excellent analysis by Tony Fabrizio.

00:17:35.000 And as Harry Enten points out, before Democrats get too high on their own supply, Democrats do face an uphill battle because even if Kamala Harris is running competitive nationally, the state polling, state by state, still favors Donald Trump and the Electoral College is an uphill battle for Kamala Harris.

00:17:51.000 Here's Harry Enten, CNN's pollster, analyzing the state of play.

00:17:56.000 Let's take a look here just first at the favorable views of Donald Trump.

00:17:59.000 We know that Donald Trump has historically been unpopular.

00:18:03.000 But take a look now.

00:18:04.000 After the Republican National Convention, in the ABC News Ipsos poll, he recorded his highest ever favorable rating at 40%.

00:18:10.000 That's not a one-off.

00:18:11.000 Take a look at the Quinnipiac University poll.

00:18:14.000 That's the highest ever in that pollster.

00:18:16.000 The fact is, Donald Trump is more popular now than he ever has been before.

00:18:20.000 So yes, Democrats can make this switcheroo, but they're still going to have to beat Donald Trump.

00:18:25.000 A Donald Trump who is stronger, Sarah, than he has ever been before.

00:18:31.000 Now again, it's still a jump ball because on the other side of the coin, the two national polls that have come out in the last couple of days show Trump either tied with Harris or behind.

00:18:39.000 Marist has Trump and Harris tied at 42.

00:18:41.000 Ipsos has Harris winning 42 to 38 over Trump, but of course that's not going to be the final result because 42 and 38 is only 80% of the vote, with Kennedy earning 8, whereas the other 12% of the vote.

00:18:51.000 Nate Silver has some thoughts on the current state of play.

00:18:55.000 He says, on the one hand, it's plausible Harris is getting, or will get, some sort of bounce from the news.

00:19:00.000 This could reflect partisan non-response bias, for instance, meaning Democrats are now sounding off on polls that they weren't likely to sound off on before.

00:19:07.000 He also says, ordinarily, you'd expect this to be a pretty good period for Trump, but obviously, Kamala has now stolen his thunder. 0.92

00:19:14.000 He says, also, if our Democratic readers are detecting a shade of optimism in this post, I need to be a Debbie Downer for a moment.

00:19:21.000 In a race that's likely to be close, Trump's edge in the Electoral College is a huge advantage for him.

00:19:25.000 While there haven't been many swing state polls yet, I'd expect the Electoral College popular vote gap to still favor him as it did in 2016 and 2020.

00:19:31.000 So, if the national polls show a tie, like the Marist poll did today, that still implies a Trump lead in the Electoral College.

00:19:37.000 However, there are certain states that are likely to tighten up.

00:19:41.000 Georgia, for example, is already tightening up in terms of the polling.

00:19:43.000 There's a poll today that shows Kamala down only one in Georgia.

00:19:46.000 Now, do I think that Kamala Harris is going to win Georgia? 1.00

00:19:48.000 I do not.

00:19:48.000 I do not think that if Stacey Abrams lost Georgia handily to Brian Kemp, Kamala Harris would like to win Georgia over Donald Trump.

00:19:55.000 I don't think that that's probably right.

00:19:57.000 With that said, is this race significantly more competitive than when Joe Biden was in the race?

00:20:02.000 Absolutely.

00:20:03.000 So either Donald Trump has to play a flawless game or you have to wait for Kamala Harris to make a mistake.

00:20:08.000 Either of those things could happen.

00:20:09.000 I think it's pretty likely that Kamala Harris will make a bunch of big mistakes because it is very rare for a candidate to run a flawless campaign. 1.00

00:20:17.000 Hillary Rodham Clinton is now sounding off in support of Kamala Harris in the New York Times.

00:20:21.000 She says, history has its eye on us.

00:20:23.000 President Biden's decision to end his campaign was as pure an act of patriotism as I have seen in my lifetime.

00:20:29.000 It should be a call to action to the rest of us to continue his fight for the soul of the nation.

00:20:33.000 Okay, that's nonsense.

00:20:35.000 Obviously, the only reason he dropped out is because he was losing.

00:20:37.000 If he thought he could win, he would have stayed in.

00:20:38.000 That's not patriotism.

00:20:39.000 That is pure self-interest.

00:20:41.000 However, Hillary is now talking up Kamala, which is like the kiss of death, by the way.

00:21:55.000 She says, elections are about the future.

00:21:56.000 That's why I'm excited about Vice President Kamala Harris. 0.96

00:21:58.000 She represents a fresh start for American politics.

00:22:01.000 She can offer a hopeful, unifying vision.

00:22:03.000 She is talented, experienced, and ready to be president.

00:22:05.000 And I know she can defeat Donald Trump.

00:22:08.000 Ms.

00:22:08.000 Harris' record and character will be distorted and disparaged by a flood of disinformation and the kind of ugly prejudice we've already heard from MAGA mouthpieces.

00:22:15.000 She and the campaign will have to cut through the noise.

00:22:17.000 And then she suggests that it's going to be all about sexism and it's going to be about racism and all of the rest.

00:22:23.000 Now, the reality, of course, is that whatever her unpopularity is going to be about, it's going to be largely about her policies. 0.99

00:22:29.000 Her policies are extremely radical, as we have mentioned on the program. 0.86

00:22:32.000 She is anti-fracking.

00:22:34.000 She is anti-gun.

00:22:36.000 She is anti-cop. 1.00

00:22:37.000 Despite her new attempts to paint herself as a tough prosecutor back when she was in California, she absolutely 100% was not.

00:22:44.000 You can check out our series, Scamala, over at Daily Wire Plus, 47% off with code FITE, in order to find out everything you need to know about Kamala Harris's history.

00:22:54.000 She's also making some pretty big mistakes.

00:22:56.000 So, she has now apparently picked Jen O'Malley Dillon, who served as chair of the Biden-Harris campaign before Biden announced he would leave the race. 0.91

00:23:05.000 That is not a particularly good pick.

00:23:08.000 O'Malley Dillon ran Biden's 2020 presidential campaign and she was running Biden's failing 2024 campaign. 0.65

00:23:15.000 The truth is, if she were smart, then she would presumably be picking people from the Obama team.

00:23:21.000 Nate Silver says it's not good news for Democrats to put the people who ran the Biden campaign into the ground in charge.

00:23:27.000 So strange pick by Kamala Harris, but again, she's run a bunch of bad campaigns. 1.00

00:23:30.000 Her Senate campaign in 2016, the one she won, was so bad that Politico had an entire article talking about how she was wasting hundreds of thousands of dollars on perks and alienating her entire staff. 1.00

00:23:40.000 With that said, we are now in the honeymoon Harris period, as Tony Fabrizio said.

00:23:44.000 So she had a big rally yesterday.

00:23:46.000 It was her first rally yesterday in Wisconsin.

00:23:48.000 She's not going to make the mistake that Hillary Clinton did and not visit the swing states, at the very least.

00:23:53.000 According to the Washington Post, to a roaring crowd of thousands in the Milwaukee suburb, Harris moved to redefine the November election as a choice between the future and the past, a prosecutor and a felon.

00:24:01.000 Now again, this tough on crime prosecutor stuff from Kamala Harris is just a lie.

00:24:06.000 And Kamala Harris's version of the future is pretty is pretty bad. 0.99

00:24:11.000 Honestly, this reads so much like the.

00:24:15.000 So the race between Kang and Kodos at this point from The Simpsons,

00:24:21.000 which like we're going to the future and all the past, that is legitimately what she is saying now.

00:24:26.000 I have news for her.

00:24:27.000 We're all going to the future because we have no choice.

00:24:29.000 Ain't none of us got a time machine here, however, is Kamala Harris

00:24:32.000 saying that Donald Trump is focused on the past while she is focused on the future

00:24:35.000 to the future, Kodos.

00:24:37.000 They intend to end the Affordable Care Act.

00:24:41.000 Thanks.

00:24:42.000 Thank you.

00:24:43.000 And take us back then to a time when insurance companies had the power to deny people with pre-existing conditions.

00:24:53.000 Remember what that was like?

00:24:56.000 Children with asthma.

00:24:58.000 This is so highly choreographed, wow.

00:24:59.000 Women who survived breast cancer.

00:25:02.000 Grandparents with diabetes.

00:25:05.000 America has tried these failed economic policies before.

00:25:11.000 But we are not going back.

00:25:16.000 She's so irritating and she's trying to keep it in check right now, but it'll come out over the course of the campaign because it always does. 0.99

00:25:21.000 When the cameras are on you, you become exactly what you are in the public eye.

00:25:26.000 She also is trying to suggest that Donald Trump represents chaos, fear, and hate, which again, this is an administration that has literally tried to jail its political opponent.

00:25:36.000 At this very rally, the crowd was chanting, lock him up about Donald Trump to the vice president of administration, which has activated its DOJ to actively lock him up.

00:25:46.000 She says that it's about hate.

00:25:47.000 Her own boss suggested that half the country hates democracy. 0.59

00:25:52.000 She's talking about chaos.

00:25:53.000 The world is a more chaotic place than any time in my lifetime because of Joe Biden.

00:25:58.000 So if this is her campaign, you know, I got some questions.

00:26:03.000 Do we want to live in a country of freedom, compassion and rule of law or a country of chaos, fear and hate?

00:26:18.000 And here's the beauty of this moment.

00:26:20.000 We each have the power to answer that question.

00:26:29.000 So Kamala Harris is taking over for somebody who is unhealthy, but you need to stay healthy and it's tough to prioritize your health, especially if you're not sure exactly where to start.

00:26:36.000 That's why I'm excited to introduce Lumen.

00:26:39.000 Lumen is the world's first handheld metabolic coach.

00:26:42.000 It's awesome.

00:27:35.000 Use Shapiro for 15% off your purchase.

00:27:37.000 And then, of course, she dropped the line that she knows Donald Trump's type because she's a mean, bad prosecutor. 1.00

00:27:42.000 She's the kind of prosecutor who puts people in jail. 1.00

00:27:44.000 And definitely will put you in jail unless you happen to be a person who she believes should not be in jail for political purposes. 0.75

00:27:53.000 And then she'll let you out.

00:27:55.000 She certainly won't seek the death penalty for people who kill cops or anything.

00:27:58.000 There's a lot on Kamala Harris.

00:28:00.000 All of it will come to light.

00:28:01.000 Again, these are the early days, folks.

00:28:02.000 So if you are rooting for Donald Trump, then just understand that it's going to be a rough three weeks here.

00:28:08.000 And the race has not yet even begun.

00:28:10.000 It has not.

00:28:11.000 Here is Kamala Harris suggesting that she knows Donald Trump's type.

00:28:16.000 Before I was elected Vice President, before I was elected United States Senator, I was elected Attorney General of the State of California and I was a courtroom prosecutor before then.

00:28:24.000 And in those roles, I took on perpetrators of all kinds.

00:28:33.000 Predators who abused women.

00:28:38.000 Fraudsters who ripped off consumers. 0.98

00:28:43.000 Cheaters Who broke the rules for their own gain.

00:28:49.000 So hear me when I say, I know Donald Trump's type.

00:28:54.000 And this prosecution line, we'll see how that plays broadly writ over the course of the campaign.

00:29:05.000 However, there is no question that Kamala Harris is in fact a far leftist and what she is planning Or should become president is far to the left of Joe Biden.

00:29:12.000 If you've liked what you've gotten from Joe Biden thus far, triple it if you get Kamala Harris as president.

00:29:17.000 You are talking more inflationary policies, more spending, more siding with America's enemies on the foreign stage.

00:29:23.000 In fact, article from the Wall Street Journal today talking about what exactly she would do in terms of foreign policy.

00:29:31.000 And I worry a lot about foreign policy from the president, the reason being that that's where the president has plenary power.

00:29:35.000 When it comes to domestic policy, the president has to compete with Congress, has to contend with other interests in the legislature.

00:29:41.000 When it comes to foreign policy, the president has outsized impact, which is why Joe Biden has set the world on fire like a child playing with matches in a kerosene-covered room.

00:29:51.000 According to the Wall Street Journal, quote, as the administration's most ardent senior-level advocate of securing a ceasefire in Gaza, Vice President Kamala Harris's elevation to the Democratic Party's standard-bearer now puts her in a stronger position to advocate for a shift in U.S.

00:30:02.000 policy toward Israel and to carry out those changes, should she win, in November.

00:30:07.000 Ivo Daalder, who served as NATO ambassador during the Obama administration and is well connected with Biden, said, quote, I think she'll be more inclined to find other ways to put pressure on Israel if the situation in Gaza does not dramatically improve.

00:30:17.000 Now, again, Hamas is still the governing power in the Gaza Strip.

00:30:22.000 Hamas just signed on to a unity agreement with the Palestinian Authority to create a unity Palestinian government.

00:30:28.000 And Harris is focused like a laser on Israel.

00:30:31.000 Apparently, she's supposed to meet with Benjamin Netanyahu this week, but not she's not going to a speech, by the way.

00:30:36.000 He is supposed to give a speech in Congress today and Kamala Harris is saying she won't attend.

00:30:42.000 Now, it's kind of normal for the president not to attend.

00:30:46.000 But the vice president is the presiding officer in the Senate.

00:30:49.000 So when you have a joint session of Congress, the vice president typically attends.

00:30:52.000 When Vladimir Zelensky spoke before Congress, for example, Kamala Harris was there.

00:30:56.000 However, she's not showing up for this one.

00:30:58.000 And we all know why.

00:30:59.000 Because she's trying to please the pro-Hamas base in the Democratic Party. 1.00

00:31:03.000 Just another reason why she's not going to pick someone like Josh Shapiro, the governor of Pennsylvania.

00:31:06.000 Because if she were to do that, it would piss off the pro-Hamas base in her own party.

00:31:12.000 What is she doing?

00:31:13.000 She's going to a sorority conference in Indiana.

00:31:16.000 Huge news.

00:31:18.000 Meanwhile, Senate President Pro Tempore is Democrat Senator Patty Murray of Washington, but she also says she's not going to attend because again, there are too many members of the Hamas caucus in the Democratic Party.

00:31:30.000 In fact, there are 50 plus Democratic House members and Senate members who will not be attending Netanyahu's speech today.

00:31:37.000 Whatever you think of Netanyahu, he is the head of an allied power in a time of war after the biggest terror attack on Jews since World War II.

00:31:45.000 And 50 House members and Democratic senators are not showing up, including the Vice President of the United States, as well as the Senate President pro tem.

00:31:54.000 Amazing stuff here from the Democratic Party.

00:31:59.000 So that's what you're gonna get.

00:32:00.000 She is apparently also going to get rid of everyone in the Biden team and replace them with even people who are even further to the left on a wide variety of issues.

00:32:10.000 According to the Wall Street Journal, key Biden appointees, including National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, Secretary of State Antony Blinken, and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, wouldn't likely be extended in their current roles, according to current and former officials.

00:32:22.000 What does that mean?

00:32:22.000 They'll be replaced by people who are even more unlikely to defend America's interests.

00:32:29.000 That's where Kamala Harris is. 1.00

00:32:33.000 Apparently, Harris hasn't had an opportunity to define her own brand of foreign policy, but observers say she might ultimately align herself more closely with the progressive elements of the Democratic Party.

00:32:40.000 So if you like the Hamas caucus in power, then get ready for President Kamala Harris.

00:32:45.000 That is the direction that she is moving.

00:32:47.000 And on domestic policy, you know exactly what she's going to do. 1.00

00:32:49.000 She is going to reorder all of American government in order to racially discriminate. 1.00

00:32:54.000 On the basis of group identity.

00:32:56.000 How do we know this?

00:32:56.000 Because she literally put out a tweet saying so in November of 2020, when largely ignored except in right-wing circles.

00:33:02.000 But this is Kamala Harris's governing philosophy in one video. 0.99

00:33:05.000 This is a video she put out November 1st, 2020, explaining the differences between equality and equity.

00:33:11.000 Equality would be, for example, the same rules apply to everyone.

00:33:14.000 Equity would be an attempt to achieve the same result, i.e.

00:33:17.000 communism.

00:33:18.000 So there's a big difference between equality and equity.

00:33:20.000 of this particular ideology, except that it's sort of racial communism.

00:33:24.000 Here is Kamala Harris's video, a video put out at least by Kamala Harris,

00:33:27.000 November 1st, 2020.

00:33:28.000 And this will be her domestic policy governing strategy.

00:33:31.000 So there's a big difference between equality and equity.

00:33:36.000 Equality suggests, oh, everyone should get the same amount.

00:33:40.000 The problem with that, not everybody's starting out from the same place.

00:33:44.000 So if we're all getting the same amount, but you started out back there and I started out over here, we could get the same amount, but you're still going to be that far back behind me.

00:33:54.000 It's about giving people the resources and the support they need so that everyone can be on equal footing and then compete on equal footing.

00:34:05.000 equitable treatment means we all end up at the same place.

00:34:09.000 And there's just the picture of Karl Marx and the stars there.

00:34:17.000 I mean, that is an amazing video.

00:34:20.000 Equitable treatment means we all end up at the same place.

00:34:23.000 Not that we all have similar opportunities or that the rules equally apply to us, but that we all end up at the same place.

00:34:30.000 That's Kamala Harris's governing philosophy. 1.00

00:34:34.000 So get ready.

00:34:35.000 If you don't like Joe Biden's administration, if you're a moderate and you're looking at Kamala Harris and you think she's a moderate, she's lying to you.

00:34:40.000 Do not believe it for one heartbeat.

00:34:43.000 It is not true at all.

00:34:44.000 She's a deeply radical politician. 1.00

00:34:46.000 She's a California progressive.

00:34:48.000 She's to the left of Gavin Newsom.

00:34:50.000 Anybody who's telling you differently is selling you something and Kamala Harris is certainly attempting to sell you something. 0.92

00:34:56.000 So what are Democrats doing to?

00:34:58.000 Misdirect away from her policies?

00:35:00.000 They are suggesting, of course, of course, of course, that if you oppose Kamala Harris's radicalism, it's because you're, wait for it, wait for it, sexist and racist. 0.96

00:35:08.000 Playing the, you're a racist game is all they've got.

00:35:11.000 This is why we are excited to bring to theater September 13th, Matt Walsh's brand new film.

00:35:17.000 It's something we've never done anything like.

00:35:19.000 I mean, he is fully undercover in this film.

00:35:22.000 It is called M.I.

00:35:23.000 Racist, in which he deconstructs the diversity, equity, and inclusion regime, in which he breaks down the argument of the left that anything that they oppose is racism, and in which they target everybody white as inherently racist.

00:35:37.000 Here's the trailer.

00:35:38.000 This is from the Twisted Mind of Matt Walsh, M.I.

00:35:41.000 Racist, available in theaters.

00:35:43.000 Our first movie that we're actually releasing full-scale in theaters, September 13th.

00:35:47.000 Let's be clear what's happening in this country.

00:35:49.000 It's Nazism. 0.99

00:35:51.000 Republicans are Nazis. 1.00

00:35:52.000 You cannot separate yourselves from the bad white people. 1.00

00:35:57.000 Growing up in the 90s, I never thought much about race. 0.92

00:36:00.000 Sure, you noticed, but it never really seemed to matter that much.

00:36:03.000 At least not to me.

00:36:04.000 Being a white, straight, cisgender man, it's the top of the pile. 1.00

00:36:07.000 I'm on the top of the pile.

00:36:08.000 That's me.

00:36:09.000 Am I racist?

00:36:10.000 I would really appreciate it if you left.

00:36:12.000 I'm trying to learn.

00:36:12.000 I'm on this journey.

00:36:13.000 Can you please leave?

00:36:15.000 I'm going to sort this out.

00:36:16.000 I need to go deeper undercover.

00:36:18.000 I want to be an ally.

00:36:19.000 I need to look like one.

00:36:26.000 What is racism?

00:36:28.000 Martin Luther King said not to judge people by their... Martin Luther King said a lot of stuff.

00:36:32.000 Is America inherently racist?

00:36:34.000 What the hell is that?

00:36:34.000 The word inherent is challenging there.

00:36:37.000 America is racist to its bones.

00:36:39.000 All of the- So inherently? 0.95

00:36:40.000 Yeah.

00:36:41.000 The entire system has to burn.

00:36:43.000 And I'm not gonna even use save this country.

00:36:44.000 This country's not worth saving. 1.00

00:36:46.000 This country is a piece of sh**. 1.00

00:36:49.000 Oh, sorry. 1.00

00:36:53.000 Sorry.

00:36:54.000 Joining us now is Matt, certified DEI expert.

00:36:58.000 Here's my certification.

00:36:59.000 Where are you guys on your anti-racist journeys?

00:37:03.000 So look around the room and point to who we believe is the most racist person in the room.

00:37:09.000 We want to rename the George Washington Monument to the George Floyd Monument.

00:37:12.000 Would you mind signing it?

00:37:13.000 You will?

00:37:14.000 What do you think about this issue of heteronormativity and how it intersects with the broader structures of racism in society?

00:37:23.000 What's up with white people? 0.93

00:37:26.000 What are you doing to de-center your whiteness? 0.98

00:37:29.000 Who's making the de-center?

00:37:29.000 Why are they doing that?

00:37:30.000 What you're doing is you're stretching out of your whiteness. 0.71

00:37:34.000 This is more for you in this field. 0.61

00:37:37.000 White. 0.81

00:37:42.000 Is there a black person around here? 0.94

00:37:44.000 What's a black person right here? 0.86

00:37:45.000 Does he not exist?

00:37:47.000 Hi, Robin.

00:37:47.000 I'm racing.

00:37:48.000 What they call it, we got it racing.

00:37:51.000 Hi, Robin.

00:37:52.000 Hi.

00:37:54.000 I'm Matt.

00:37:54.000 Matt, hi Matt.

00:37:55.000 Nice to meet you.

00:37:56.000 You just had to ask who you are because you have to be careful.

00:38:01.000 Never be too careful.

00:38:02.000 That is in fact Robin DiAngelo, the author of White Fragility.

00:38:11.000 Solid stuff there from Matt.

00:38:12.000 You're only going to be able to see that in theaters September 13th, so go check that out.

00:38:16.000 Also, today is the final day to get 47% off your Daily Wire Plus annual membership like today, last day.

00:38:22.000 There's never been a more crucial time to join.

00:38:24.000 Joe Biden is out.

00:38:25.000 Once again, the left's new choice is part of the problem, not the solution.

00:38:28.000 You won't hear that from the legacy media.

00:38:29.000 That's why we exist, to cut through the noise and nonsense and bring you the truth.

00:38:33.000 We're fighting the left.

00:38:34.000 We're building the future.

00:38:34.000 We need you in the fight with us every day, today only.

00:38:37.000 Go to dailywire.com, use code FIGHT for a 47% off Well, what is the Democratic response going to be to the fact that Kamala Harris is, in fact, a wild leftist?

00:38:48.000 They're going to suggest that the only reason you're attacking her is because she's black and a woman.

00:38:52.000 I think this attack line is played out.

00:38:54.000 I don't think that it has a lot to support it at this point, but it is the Democrats' favorite line of defense.

00:39:01.000 You attack somebody because of their policies, and they claim that you're doing it because of their identity.

00:39:06.000 Here, for example, is the Morning Joe team suggesting that it's racist to call Kamala Harris a DEI hire. 0.98

00:39:12.000 Now, again, it's this dumb game that Democrats are constantly playing where a Democrat will say, I want a black woman for this job. 1.00

00:39:18.000 And then she's appointed. 0.99

00:39:19.000 And then we point out, hey, you wanted a black woman for the job. 0.99

00:39:21.000 Like, hey, that's racist. 0.88

00:39:23.000 We're like, what's racist? 0.97

00:39:24.000 Like, well, it's racist to point out that you that she's a black woman. 0.99

00:39:27.000 But you literally said you wanted a black woman for the job. 0.99

00:39:30.000 As I've said before, this is the world's dumbest version of who's on first. 1.00

00:39:33.000 Here we go. 0.99

00:39:34.000 They are now accusing you of being a racist for noticing that Joe Biden picked Kamala Harris because of her race and her sex.

00:39:41.000 Republican Congressman Tim Burchette of Tennessee complaining about Vice President Kamala Harris being- Is it 1951?

00:39:48.000 Is it 1951?

00:39:53.000 I'm so embarrassed for him.

00:39:53.000 Was he about to go into, like, a country club in, like, rural Tennessee there, like, in 1951?

00:39:59.000 Is he serious? 0.94

00:40:02.000 If you are a black woman, then you're a D.E.I. 1.00

00:40:05.000 hire? 0.99

00:40:07.000 Unbelievable.

00:40:08.000 I mean, I guess they're tired of lying about the president's health condition.

00:40:12.000 And now they're just going to lie that people only oppose Kamala Harris not because she's a terrible candidate who is wildly radical, but because she's a black woman.

00:40:20.000 Representative Steve Horsford of Nevada. He also says it's so offensive. It's so

00:40:25.000 offensive to point out, you know, that Joe Biden picked her because of her race. He literally

00:40:29.000 said it. I didn't say it. He said it.

00:40:31.000 I don't know what you want. Everyone knows that the last finalist for the VP position in 2020

00:40:35.000 were a black woman, Susan Rice, a black woman, Karen Bass, a black woman, Val Demings, and a

00:40:39.000 black woman, Kamala Harris. Everyone knew this. This was not like a giant secret. Politico reported

00:40:43.000 it. But now if you read old headlines, suddenly you're racist. That's the way this works.

00:40:48.000 It's the most offensive thing that I have heard someone say.

00:40:52.000 She is the vice president of the United States. 0.92

00:40:55.000 She is the most qualified person to be our nominee.

00:41:00.000 She will beat Donald Trump.

00:41:06.000 Okay.

00:41:07.000 All right.

00:41:08.000 So this is going to be the shtick.

00:41:09.000 Okay.

00:41:10.000 I mean, good luck with that, I suppose.

00:41:12.000 For his part, Donald Trump If Kamala Harris does end up being the Democrat nominee, will you commit to debating her at least one time?

00:41:30.000 Oh yes, absolutely.

00:41:31.000 I'd want to.

00:41:32.000 I think it's important.

00:41:34.000 I'm not thrilled about ABC because they're truly fake news.

00:41:37.000 I watched last night.

00:41:38.000 They're actually trying to make a hero out of Joe Biden when he was the worst president in history.

00:41:44.000 Okay, again, I think that Trump is obviously going to have to debate her.

00:41:50.000 How does that debate go?

00:41:51.000 Well, I think people are underestimating how well Kamala Harris could do in a debate. 1.00

00:41:56.000 If you recall the early debates, she did pretty well in those.

00:41:59.000 And really, all she has to do is not fall over.

00:42:01.000 Again, what's weird about this particular scenario is that the expectation bar has been set so low for a Democrat That all she has to do is not be Joe Biden.

00:42:10.000 That's basically the Democrats' proposition.

00:42:11.000 The proposition is if we run anyone who is not a dead person named Joe Biden, that person will win.

00:42:17.000 The question is in the public mind, in the lead up to a debate between Harris and Trump, is there going to be an expectation that Harris will clock Trump?

00:42:23.000 Or is there going to be an expectation that all Harris has to do is basically survive Trump?

00:42:27.000 If the expectation is that Harris is going to clock Trump, Then it's possible that she could underperform those expectations.

00:42:34.000 And really all it takes is one Kamala Harris word salad for Trump to finish her.

00:42:38.000 As I've said before, I think Trump needs to repurpose the line that he used against Joe Biden.

00:42:42.000 And when she says some sort of, and there's real significance to the passage of time, I think he needs at that point to hit her with, I have no idea what she just said at the end of that sentence.

00:42:53.000 And frankly, neither does she.

00:42:54.000 And he needs to just repurpose what he said about Biden and use it for her because she's just as incoherent, but doesn't have the brain damage.

00:43:01.000 So, that debate could go like that.

00:43:04.000 The thing that Trump has to do, more than anything else, as I said earlier, discipline, discipline, discipline.

00:43:09.000 And that means Democrats are waiting.

00:43:11.000 They are waiting for him to make some sort of comment about her being female or about her being black.

00:43:15.000 That is what they are waiting for. 0.98

00:43:17.000 Not that he's gonna say anything sexist or racist, but if he even mentions that Joe Biden picked her because she was a black woman, which again, is true, if he says that, they're gonna hit him with the, Donald Trump is as racist as they, how could he? 0.99

00:43:28.000 It's just so terrible. 0.98

00:43:30.000 He's going to have to stay away from the kind of storyline that Donald Trump typically likes to talk about, which is the fact that she got her start in politics by having sex with Lily Brown, which is true. 0.91

00:43:39.000 Again, that is clearly the case.

00:43:42.000 There's not even a denial of it in any real sort of sense. 0.70

00:43:46.000 But if Donald Trump mentions that, it's going to be, well, you're a sexist and you treat women terribly, and how could you possibly?

00:43:52.000 So Donald Trump is going to have to stay away from that.

00:43:54.000 House GOP leaders are also directing their members not to go after Kamala Harris on that basis.

00:44:00.000 According to Politico, House Republican leaders told lawmakers to focus on criticizing Vice President Kamala Harris's record without reference to race and gender following caustic remarks from some Republicans attacking her on the basis of identity.

00:44:11.000 Now again, It's all a sucker's game because the Democrats literally named her identity as one of the driving rationales for making her vice president, but you're not allowed to mention it.

00:44:20.000 Okay, fine.

00:44:20.000 Well, if those are the rules, then I suppose that it would be smart to play by the rules sufficient to win.

00:44:25.000 In the 48 hours since President Joe Biden dropped out of the presidential race, Republican leaders have tried to train their criticism of the presumptive Democratic nominee on her handling of the border and her plan to skip Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's speech before Congress.

00:44:36.000 By the way, it would be a smart look for Senator J.D.

00:44:38.000 Vance to come off the campaign trail for a day and go to that speech in Congress.

00:44:42.000 Not because, I mean, right now he's a senator like everybody else, but Kamala Harris has a literal obligation, by the sort of decorum of the chamber, to be there and she's not.

00:44:50.000 So J.D.

00:44:51.000 Vance showing up would in fact show signs of solidarity with an American ally that Kamala Harris is clearly undercutting.

00:45:00.000 So, Republicans are going to have to play this one smart, as I've said over and over and over again.

00:45:04.000 Now, who exactly is she going to pick for VP? 1.00

00:45:06.000 There's been a lot of talk about Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro.

00:45:09.000 However, I think that it is unlikely that she picks him.

00:45:13.000 And I think it's unlikely because, again, she wants to project a left-wing viewpoint to her supporters.

00:45:19.000 Senator Mark Kelly of Arizona has been trotted out a lot, former Navy combat pilot and NASA astronaut.

00:45:26.000 He ran for the Senate in 2020 after being appointed senator.

00:45:30.000 He won again in 2022.

00:45:34.000 The case for Kelly is that he is, again, from a swing state.

00:45:36.000 The basic idea here would be that she makes Arizona more competitive. 1.00

00:45:39.000 There's talk about North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper, if she wants to make a play for North Carolina.

00:45:43.000 I've heard some inside information that North Carolina is running surprisingly weak for President Trump, so that wouldn't be a big surprise.

00:45:48.000 Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear has also been discussed because, again, he's a red state governor.

00:45:52.000 Who is a very, very blue governor, but Bashir's debut on the national stage was not particularly encouraging.

00:45:59.000 There's been some talk about Minnesota Governor Tim Walz.

00:46:01.000 I think that's highly unlikely.

00:46:02.000 Tim Walz has presided over a state that has burst into flame multiple times on his watch.

00:46:06.000 Illinois Governor J.B.

00:46:07.000 Pritzker.

00:46:08.000 Pritzker is also Jewish.

00:46:09.000 I think that that is probably going to prevent him from being the nominee.

00:46:12.000 And there's been talk about Gretchen Whitmer, who's already said that she doesn't want it, and an all-female ticket probably hurts her. 0.73

00:46:17.000 So if you have to put money on it right now, you probably say Mark Kelly from Arizona is the frontrunner for the VP nod from Vice President Kamala Harris.

00:46:25.000 Meanwhile, as we've mentioned a bunch of times already, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is going to Congress today.

00:46:30.000 He's giving a speech to a joint session of Congress.

00:46:33.000 The Biden administration didn't meet him at the airport because, again, the Democrats just do not like Israel for some odd reason.

00:46:40.000 And I think I know the reason.

00:46:41.000 They applied their theory of intersectional politics, of victim-victimizer narratives, to the Middle East as well.

00:46:47.000 And as it turns out, in the Middle East, anybody who's successful is apparently an oppressor. 0.69

00:46:51.000 Anybody who's unsuccessful is the oppressed.

00:46:52.000 And they're applying that matrix to the Israelis and the Palestinians, despite the fact that it is in fact the Palestinians who have been engaged in a deep and abiding belief in terrorism as the method of extirpating Israel and wiping it off the map. 0.72

00:47:07.000 Joe Biden is supposed to meet with Bibi Netanyahu on Thursday.

00:47:12.000 Kamala Harris is supposed to meet with Benjamin Netanyahu Thursday night, I believe.

00:47:17.000 And then he's flying down to Florida to meet with President Trump at Mar-a-Lago.

00:47:22.000 So what exactly is he expected to do today?

00:47:25.000 According to sources close to Benjamin Netanyahu of the Jerusalem Post reporting, the speech will certainly address Israel's aspiration for regional peace, emphasizing the desire to reach a historic agreement with Saudi Arabia and thereby expand the Abraham Accords.

00:47:36.000 Additionally, Netanyahu plans to highlight Iran's involvement in Hamas's attack on Israel on October 7th, as well as the hostile activities of various regional actors who are effectively Iran's proxies threatening the state of Israel.

00:47:46.000 Apparently, Democrats were very worried that he was going to come in and be critical of the Biden administration in slow-walking aid, for example, or that he'd say something super controversial.

00:47:54.000 It is yet to be seen what the final draft of the speech looks like.

00:47:57.000 However, as we say, it is very clear at this point that Democrats, because so much of their base hates merit, like truly hates the meritocracy, and then

00:48:06.000 applies that model to the Middle East.

00:48:07.000 Because of that, they're avoiding Netanyahu. According to Politico, Netanyahu has had very

00:48:12.000 little to do in Washington during his visit so far. Some aides on both sides of the aisle needed

00:48:16.000 to be reminded the leader was even in town. Because of the mind-boggling news cycle,

00:48:20.000 Netanyahu quote, hasn't really been able to get the traction and airtime they would have expected.

00:48:24.000 Outside the Watergate Hotel, a Politico reporter noticed two rings of fences put up, drones buzzing

00:48:29.000 overhead, a mass redirection of traffic, multiple security checkpoints, and closed roads.

00:48:33.000 According to Post on X, a spattering of pro-Palestinian protesters gathered outside the Watergate complex on Tuesday, calling for Netanyahu's arrest.

00:48:40.000 Again, Biden is going to mute Netanyahu on Thursday.

00:48:43.000 Unclear exactly when Kamala Harris is going to meet with him, but he's going to meet with Donald Trump on Friday as well.

00:48:49.000 Republicans are brainstorming how they would show support for Netanyahu.

00:48:52.000 Senator Chris Van Hollen said he won't attend the address either.

00:48:55.000 So Patty Murray won't.

00:48:55.000 Chris Van Hollen won't.

00:48:57.000 A bunch of top-level Democrats are going to boycott the speech.

00:48:59.000 Because, again, they hate Netanyahu and they are pretending that Netanyahu rather than Hamas is the obstacle to peace, despite the fact that even the Biden administration has acknowledged at this point that Hamas has not accepted a hostage deal acceptable to Israel.

00:49:11.000 By the way, Hamas is a terror group currently holding hostages.

00:49:14.000 Nonetheless, you had the radical pro-Hamas crowd that somehow got into the Capitol building.

00:49:18.000 I mean, that's weird, isn't it?

00:49:19.000 I was informed that takeovers like this, illegal protests like this, I thought that that was, you know, a threat to the Republic, a dire and abiding threat to the Republic.

00:49:26.000 But apparently, security just lets everybody in with their red shirts and their protesting and trespass.

00:49:32.000 And then they were briefly arrested and then released on like a $50 bail or something.

00:49:36.000 Here is the scene inside the Capitol yesterday. 0.99

00:49:39.000 Pathetic. 1.00

00:49:41.000 Pathetic. 1.00

00:49:53.000 Oh He's pathetic, people. 1.00

00:49:57.000 And of course, it is a bunch of liberal quasi-Jews. 1.00

00:50:00.000 I say quasi-Jews because they have nothing to do with Judaism. 0.76

00:50:02.000 They don't practice Judaism.

00:50:03.000 They don't care about Judaism. 0.58

00:50:04.000 They don't care about the Bible.

00:50:05.000 They don't care about Israel. 0.71

00:50:06.000 They are the typical hashtag as a Jew, where they pull out the Jew card only so that they can yell at other Jews, and particularly at Israel.

00:50:13.000 That is their favorite thing to do.

00:50:16.000 On the part of the speaker, the speaker has now made clear that there will be increased police presence around the Capitol complex and the House chamber.

00:50:23.000 He also said all members should kindly inform their guests any disruption of the proceedings of the house is a violation of the rules and may subject the offenders to prosecution.

00:50:32.000 Meanwhile, Rashida Tlaib, of course, who is a pro- I mean, you want to talk about like the leader of the Hamas squad?

00:50:37.000 She tweeted out Netanyahu is a war criminal committing genocide against the Palestinian people. 1.00

00:50:41.000 This is just the biggest stupid lie. 1.00

00:50:43.000 Oh my god, so stupid. 1.00

00:50:45.000 Genocide? 1.00

00:50:46.000 Israel has complete air superiority. 0.72

00:50:47.000 If Israel wanted to kill hundreds of thousands of Palestinians, it certainly has the raw power to do so. 0.95

00:50:52.000 Not only is it not doing so, it is sending Israeli soldiers into harm's way going door by door in one of the most heavily populated urban areas on planet Earth.

00:51:00.000 All Hamas has to do is surrender, but Rashida Tlaib doesn't want them to surrender because she likes Hamas. 0.95

00:51:04.000 She says it is utterly disgraceful.

00:51:06.000 Leaders from both parties have invited him to address Congress.

00:51:08.000 He should be arrested and sent to the International Criminal Court, another joke of an organization to which the United States is not even party.

00:51:14.000 So we'll keep you updated on the speech from Benjamin Netanyahu as it goes forward.

00:51:19.000 Before we get into the members-only portion of the show, gotta let you know, we will be going live tonight, 8 p.m.

00:51:29.000 Big speech.

00:51:30.000 Alrighty, coming up, we'll be getting into the resignation of the head of the Secret Service, another act of heroism, since Democrats are apparently heroes when they don't do their job and then resign.
