00:00:00.000 The left increasingly hates the American flag.
00:00:02.000 Why?
00:00:03.000 That's an obvious question.
00:00:04.000 The American flag stands for freedom and prosperity and victory.
00:00:08.000 No matter how many problems you have with America, you ought to be grateful God gave you the opportunity, as He did for me, to live in the greatest country in the history of humanity.
00:00:16.000 So, why do so many people hate the flag?
00:00:18.000 The answer well, that's just how much the left hates President Trump.
00:00:21.000 And now they hate Trump so much, they even hate wait for it AOC.
00:00:28.000 I'll explain in just a moment.
00:00:28.000 Really?
00:00:30.000 We'll also get to why Texas wants to teach school kids the Bible.
00:00:33.000 Why a radically anti Israel, militantly gay San Francisco congressional candidate is under fire from the left and the latest in Iran, where President Trump launched some bombs over the weekend.
00:00:42.000 This is the Ben Shapiro Show.
00:00:51.000 So it's been true forever.
00:00:51.000 President Trump's magic power is that whatever he touches, his opposition disowns.
00:00:56.000 So if he takes an 80% position, his opposition will take the 20% position just because they hate him so much.
00:01:03.000 If he decides that he likes rock music and MMA and fighter jets, the left will say all of those things are awful.
00:01:10.000 If he decides that, you know, it'd be awesome, a really cool fair on the Washington Mall, the left will decide that the fair is really, really bad just because they hate him that much.
00:01:18.000 If he decides that we need a better lining for the reflecting pool, the left will go nuts and say it's better if the place is essentially a swamp.
00:01:25.000 So, if President Trump hugs an American flag, the left will just by necessity want to burn it.
00:01:31.000 Now, the left should stop doing this because it's really, really bad and really, really stupid.
00:01:35.000 If we are going to share anything in this country, we should love the American flag.
00:01:38.000 And again, if you go back historically, the people who most had reason not to like the American flag still found a way to love the American flag because it turns out that if you root for the principles of America, eventually the American flag ends up flying for those principles.
00:01:52.000 To take the most famous example, Frederick Douglass, the escaped slave, back in the 1850s gave a speech.
00:01:58.000 On July 4th, asking what July 4th was to the slave.
00:02:02.000 The whole thing was a critique, this speech, of the idea that the Declaration of Independence did not properly apply to black people.
00:02:09.000 And his complaint was not that the Declaration of Independence was wrong or bad or the American flag was wrong or bad, but why were black people not included in that promise?
00:02:18.000 And then, of course, a civil war was fought.
00:02:20.000 And over the course of 100 years, Jim Crow was extirpated specifically to fulfill Frederick Douglass's vision of a July 4th that stood for all Americans.
00:02:29.000 That's the best way to approach the American flag because that same American flag that was flying over in America that tolerated slavery flew with the troops wearing blue as they fought the Confederates in favor of abolishing slavery.
00:02:43.000 Hey, but today the left has decided apparently in large scale that the American flag is just too uncomfortable.
00:02:49.000 There's a large piece at NBC news today titled, many Americans say stars and stripes is now a red flag.
00:02:56.000 Quote, to fly or not to fly an American flag.
00:02:58.000 That was never a question for Bruce Watson, who has put his national pride on display for years.
00:03:02.000 And he nudges neighbors in his small New England town to do the same.
00:03:05.000 But as the polarized nation marks its 250th birthday, Watson, 72, worries his stars and stripes may now need an asterisk.
00:03:12.000 If we do fly the flag, we will also put out signs to make it clear that we are not MAGA, he said.
00:03:15.000 So, first of all, it's unbelievable, truly amazing, that the left has allowed the right to basically treat the flag as a right wing symbol.
00:03:24.000 The American flag is not a right wing symbol, it is a symbol of all of the values of America.
00:03:28.000 And if the left wishes to surrender that to the right, I suppose they can, but it's a bold move, Cotton.
00:03:33.000 Not sure why they would do it.
00:03:36.000 So, apparently, a bunch of people on the left are going to fly the flag, but upside down to protest President Trump.
00:03:45.000 Apparently, one person interviewed by NBC News is replacing the U.S. flag with the state flag of Pennsylvania.
00:03:53.000 Erin Beltel, 22, who lives outside Philadelphia with her parents, said her father will be flying the American flag, but she says if it were up to me and my mom, we'd be flying the Pride flag or the Philadelphia Eagles flag instead.
00:04:04.000 I love our country, but I'm not feeling very proud of our country right now.
00:04:08.000 Which, again, is an insane proposition.
00:04:10.000 That's insane.
00:04:13.000 You feel more loyalty and love for the Philadelphia Eagles than you do for the country?
00:04:17.000 The Philadelphia Eagles, do you play for the Philadelphia Eagles?
00:04:20.000 And by the way, even if you do play for the Philadelphia Eagles, you should still love the American flag more than you love the symbol of the Philadelphia Eagles.
00:04:27.000 The pride flag as a replacement for the American flag?
00:04:31.000 We'll get to that in a moment because that is, in fact, the default replacement flag for the American flag.
00:04:36.000 According to NBC News, some readers said they were motivated by peer pressure more than patriotism.
00:04:41.000 I display my flag outside my home mainly because everyone else around my neighborhood does it, even though I'm not 100% proud to be an American, said a Newtown, Pennsylvania woman, who also asked to remain anonymous.
00:04:50.000 I feel if I don't have a flag displayed somewhere, people will think I'm against our country or something.
00:04:53.000 Well, I mean, kind of.
00:04:58.000 Why would it be bad to fly the American flag?
00:05:02.000 A Rhode Island teacher said she too is flying alternate flags the Rainbow Pride flag and the banner of her beloved New England Patriots.
00:05:09.000 The teacher said she had not flown the flag since 2024 when Trump was elected for a second term.
00:05:13.000 I have a gay son and a trans son, and felt that the flag was now a symbol flown by people who don't want my children to exist.
00:05:20.000 So herein lies the problem.
00:05:22.000 Again, the American flag is a symbol.
00:05:24.000 Symbols have underlying meanings.
00:05:26.000 Those symbols stand for things.
00:05:29.000 The swastika stands for something different than the American flag, stands for something different than the Pride Progress flag.
00:05:35.000 So, what does the American flag stand for historically?
00:05:38.000 Well, most obviously, the promise of the Declaration of Independence, whose 250th anniversary we are celebrating this year.
00:05:45.000 The greatness of the American Constitution, the greatest system of government ever devised by man.
00:05:50.000 And yes, a set of values rooted in the Bible.
00:05:53.000 Because it turns out that the Declaration and the Constitution were not born out of arid soil.
00:05:59.000 They didn't spring full blown from the heads of the men who wrote them.
00:06:04.000 They are the apex of a system of values that was rooted thousands of years beforehand.
00:06:10.000 So if you don't like those things, then you probably are doing Americanism wrong.
00:06:14.000 You're failing to understand what it is that makes America great.
00:06:17.000 And makes America awesome, regardless of your politics.
00:06:19.000 And this is why it is bizarre that there's a gigantic controversy that is now broken out in the state of Texas over whether or not kids should learn about the Bible.
00:06:28.000 Not that kids should be preached to, that they must believe in Christ, or that they must believe that Moses brought laws down from Mount Sinai or something.
00:06:37.000 But there are people who are very upset that people are being taught the Bible in public schools.
00:06:41.000 Well, coming up, we'll get to why the left hates America oh so much and what they want to replace the American flag with.
00:06:47.000 First, last week I sat down with Medal of Honor recipient Clint Romache.
00:06:51.000 One thing that always stands out after conversations like that is this.
00:06:54.000 The people who have served this country, they don't talk about themselves as heroes.
00:06:57.000 They talk about duty and about the people beside them about doing the job that needed to be done.
00:07:01.000 As America approaches its 250th birthday, it's worth remembering our country's story isn't just about documents and speeches.
00:07:07.000 It's about the generations of Americans who answered that call when freedom depended on them.
00:07:11.000 When those men and women come home, our responsibility as fellow Americans does not end, which is why I'm proud that Pure Talk is partnering with America's Warrior Partnership to raise $250,000 for veterans.
00:07:21.000 America's Warrior Partnership is on the front lines of preventing veteran suicide by helping veterans access housing, transportation counseling, VA benefits, and other essential services.
00:07:29.000 They provide practical support that helps veterans build stable, successful lives after service.
00:07:34.000 When you switch your cell phone service to Pure Talk this month, you'll have the opportunity to round up your bill in support of America's Warrior Partnership.
00:07:40.000 Pure Talk will match donations until they reach $250,000.
00:07:43.000 You'll also get a limited talk, unlimited text, and unlimited high speed data for just $34.99 a month.
00:07:47.000 That's a fraction of what the major carriers charge.
00:07:50.000 Head on over to puretalk.comslash Shapiro.
00:07:52.000 Make the switch to pure talk again.
00:07:54.000 That's pure talk.com slash Shapiro.
00:07:56.000 Make the switch to my wireless company, America's wireless company, pure talk.
00:08:00.000 Patriotism isn't just something you feel on the 4th of July.
00:08:02.000 It's how you choose to support the people who have served this country when they come home.
00:08:07.000 So President Trump on Friday, he was in the Oval Office and he was talking about religious liberty because the Religious Liberty Commission for President Trump issued a draft report saying that the separation of church and state is a legal error and that Americans should view religion as an essential support and remember the creator who made us and bestows our rights.
00:08:27.000 And that, by the way, is correct.
00:08:28.000 Because, again, the Constitution does not mean that you are supposed to separate religion completely out of daily life, that government can have no admixture at all with anything baseline religious.
00:08:41.000 That is not what the First Amendment says.
00:08:43.000 Here's the president talking about this.
00:08:47.000 America was founded by people of faith, and it was settled as a haven for religious freedom.
00:08:52.000 So important as we prepare to celebrate the 200th. 50th anniversary of our founding next week.
00:08:59.000 It is only appropriate that we work to strengthen this fundamental right and to most essentially have liberty for generations to come.
00:09:07.000 We want religious liberty.
00:09:11.000 Okay, so what does religious liberty mean?
00:09:14.000 Well, obviously, the verbiage of the First Amendment says the Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or abridging the free exercise thereof.
00:09:23.000 Historically speaking, a lot of people have read this wrong.
00:09:26.000 There's a letter of Thomas Jefferson's in which he talks about a wall of separation between church and state.
00:09:31.000 But Thomas Jefferson himself saw biblical thinking as undergirding Western values.
00:09:37.000 He wrote the 1786 Virginia Statute for Religious Freedom.
00:09:40.000 And Jefferson, who was himself a deist, but who also wrote a version of the New Testament in which he stripped out all the miracles.
00:09:47.000 He said, Almighty God hath created the mind free, that all attempts to influence it by temporal punishment or burdens or by civil incapacitations tend only to be at habits of hypocrisy and meanness and are a departure from the plan of the holy author of our religion.
00:09:59.000 who being lord of both body and mind, yet chose not to propagate it by coercians on either, as was his almighty power to do.
00:10:05.000 So again, that is in the Virginia Statute for Religious Freedom.
00:10:07.000 So basically, because Christian values suggest that you are supposed to allow for the free exercise of mind, that is why there should be free exercise of religion.
00:10:15.000 But understand, the basic supposition of a First Amendment that allows for freedom of religion is a religious assessment of the world.
00:10:26.000 That God created individuals with freedom of mind and inherent value.
00:10:30.000 And that it would be an abridgment of that mind and freedom of choice for the government to cram down religion on you.
00:10:37.000 It should also be worth noting that actually many of the original states did have an established religion.
00:10:42.000 But again, what are those clauses meant to do?
00:10:45.000 Well, those clauses are supposed to be read in tandem.
00:10:49.000 The idea is that Congress should not make a law respecting the establishment of religion.
00:10:52.000 So Congress should not, for example, force you to go and receive communion, Congress should not force you to go pray three times a day.
00:11:02.000 But that's to be read in the context of abridging the free exercise thereof.
00:11:05.000 Why?
00:11:06.000 Because the idea was that if Congress establishes one form of religion, it would bar all the other forms of religion, and this would inhibit your free exercise.
00:11:14.000 And notice the words free exercise, that does not mean free thought, because thought is different from exercise.
00:11:20.000 Religion does not just exist in the private sphere, it's not just something that you do in your church and in your home, it's something you do your whole life.
00:11:26.000 And this is something that the founders understood being largely religious and growing up in a religious society.
00:11:32.000 The sociologist Emil Durkheim wrote, quote, a religious society does not exist without a collective credo, and it is more or less strong and united according to whether this credo is widely held.
00:11:43.000 And all the founders understood this, by the way, including the most secular leaning of the founders.
00:11:48.000 President John Adams, my favorite founder, wrote in a letter to the Massachusetts militia famously, quote, we have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion.
00:11:59.000 Avarice, ambition, revenge, or gallantry would break the strongest cords of our constitution as a whale goes through a net.
00:12:05.000 Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people.
00:12:08.000 George Washington said the same The foundation of our national policy will be laid in the pure and immutable principles of private morality.
00:12:15.000 There exists in the economy and course of nature an indissoluble union between virtue and happiness.
00:12:21.000 Even James Madison, who authored provisions in the state of Virginia banning the establishment of religion, said he did so in order to strengthen religion because he believed that religious discrimination would lead people to abandon religion.
00:12:34.000 Jefferson himself recognized The moral branch of religion instructs us how to live well and worthily in society.
00:12:40.000 Also, by the way, you are just not a literate Western citizen if you don't know the Bible.
00:12:44.000 You are not literate.
00:12:45.000 That is not opinion, that is fact.
00:12:46.000 Virtually all of the Western canon, everything from Dickens to Shakespeare, everything from the works of the founding fathers to the words of Franklin Delano Roosevelt, cannot be understood without some reference point in the Bible.
00:13:00.000 This is particularly true for the founding era, by the way.
00:13:02.000 There's a political scientist named Donald Lutz, and he actually went through 15,000 sources of political writing from the founding era.
00:13:08.000 He cataloged all of them.
00:13:10.000 What is the single most cited source in the founding literature?
00:13:14.000 Not Locke, like you heard in school, or Montesquieu.
00:13:17.000 It's the Bible, of course, like a third of all citations.
00:13:20.000 And the single most cited book was the book of Deuteronomy, which makes perfect sense because the book of Deuteronomy is how do you govern a nation?
00:13:26.000 What is the moral law that you use to govern a nation?
00:13:30.000 So, why is this relevant?
00:13:31.000 Well, because a lot of people today are pretending that we're about to live in a theocracy because the Texas State Board of Education has voted to require students to study the Bible stories, which, by the way, again, you should.
00:13:42.000 If you wish to have any basic literacy in your civilization, you need to know the Bible.
00:13:46.000 You may notice I am not a Christian, I am a Jew.
00:13:49.000 I know the New Testament because in order for you to understand the literature that you are reading, you must understand the New Testament.
00:13:56.000 It is not possible to read anything from Victor Hugo to Dostoevsky without understanding the New Testament.
00:14:01.000 Not a possibility.
00:14:02.000 You cannot do it.
00:14:04.000 Educated, literate, literate citizens have to know this stuff.
00:14:09.000 And they have to know it not because we are saying that the state must force you to go to church.
00:14:14.000 You have to know it because otherwise you literally don't understand the roots of your own civilization.
00:14:17.000 You just don't.
00:14:18.000 So what exactly is the Tech State Board Of education doing.
00:14:21.000 So you've heard from all your left wing friends that they are now forcing everybody to kneel, essentially.
00:14:27.000 That is not right.
00:14:28.000 That is not right.
00:14:29.000 They have approved a proposal that establishes a list of required reading, according to CNN, and includes Bible verses alongside classic titles for its K 12 English and Literature curriculum.
00:14:40.000 Texas is prescribing a literary canon for every public school student.
00:14:45.000 Many Texas students are already familiar with at least some Christian teachings.
00:14:48.000 The state last year became the largest state to require classrooms to display the Ten Commandments.
00:14:51.000 First of all, I find it funny that CNN is so illiterate that they say, That those are Christian teachings.
00:14:57.000 I mean, to be fair, the Ten Commandments is part of the Old Testament.
00:15:01.000 Okay, so you want to talk about truly Judeo Christian?
00:15:03.000 Ten Commandments would fall squarely in the Judeo Christian category since, you know, it arrived on the scene some thousand years before Christ.
00:15:11.000 In any case, the new list of required titles will include a picture book adaptation of the David and Goliath story for elementary students, which, of course, again, how are you even literate?
00:15:20.000 How are you literate if you don't know the David and Goliath story?
00:15:22.000 It is referenced in an enormous percentage of Western literature, all the founders knew it.
00:15:28.000 Okay, biblical passages about Adam and Eve for older students.
00:15:31.000 Well, yes, duh, because you have to know that stuff.
00:15:34.000 You can't read Shakespeare without understanding these biblical references.
00:15:38.000 The actual proposals include a bunch of other texts from the Bible, including verses from the book of Luke about the necessity of humility.
00:15:46.000 For fifth graders, the burning bush and the parting of the Red Sea.
00:15:48.000 Again, Benjamin Franklin, not exactly a deeply religious person, wanted the parting of the Red Sea to be put on the official seal of the United States.
00:15:56.000 You cannot understand the anti slavery movement without understanding the book of Exodus.
00:16:00.000 It is not possible to do so.
00:16:02.000 All, all of the anti slavery advocates were quoting the book of Exodus.
00:16:06.000 Martin Luther King Jr. quoted the book of Exodus all the time.
00:16:06.000 All of them.
00:16:11.000 Sections from the books of Matthew and Psalms and Ecclesiastes.
00:16:15.000 And again, all of this stuff is stuff that you should just know.
00:16:18.000 A section from Matthew about anxiousness or the Shepherd's Psalm from Psalms.
00:16:23.000 I mean, come on.
00:16:25.000 You know, it's in every movie.
00:16:27.000 What did you think they were saying in the movie at every single grave sightseeing?
00:16:30.000 What do you think that they're quoting right there?
00:16:33.000 The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.
00:16:34.000 What do you think they're quoting?
00:16:36.000 They just like made it up?
00:16:37.000 What?
00:16:38.000 Or Ecclesiastes, to everything there is a season?
00:16:40.000 I mean, the Beatles were writing songs to some of this stuff.
00:16:45.000 And then the book of Job for high school standardized testing expectations.
00:16:49.000 I mean, like, what, what is remotely controversial about all of this?
00:16:52.000 What is remotely controversial?
00:16:53.000 The answer is nothing.
00:16:55.000 By the way, also, the curriculum includes the book of lamentations from the Torah, right, which is the book, it's Jeremiah is writing that.
00:17:06.000 And then high school world history includes beliefs of the Quran and the actual history of slavery globally.
00:17:11.000 And Washington's letter to a Hebrew congregation at Newport, which basically talks about religious freedom in the United States, and Elie Wiesel and Anne Frank.
00:17:18.000 Like the idea that there's some gigantic establishment of a Christian theocracy because you're literate is insane.
00:17:24.000 But again, the reason that the left is fighting this is because if you're unfamiliar with the roots of the American flag, then you get to replace it with anything.
00:17:32.000 If you stand for nothing, then you will stand for anything.
00:17:35.000 And that is where we are going next.
00:17:37.000 If the American flag stands for the Declaration and the Constitution and a set of biblical values that undergird all of that, And you reject all of that.
00:17:46.000 Well, where do you end up?
00:17:47.000 Well, we have an opposite flag.
00:17:49.000 And that opposite flag is the representation of the radical left these days.
00:17:53.000 This flag is pretty much everything.
00:17:55.000 All righty, coming up, we'll get to the radicals' replacement for the American flag.
00:17:59.000 It's really quite hideous.
00:18:00.000 First, America was built by people who worked hard and also had to get some sleep.
00:18:04.000 You know, if you're not sleeping well, you're not operating at full capacity.
00:18:07.000 This country needs you at full capacity.
00:18:09.000 We have a 250th birthday coming up.
00:18:11.000 You need to be ready.
00:18:12.000 And this is where Helix comes in.

00:18:16.000 And how exactly are you going to party it up unless you've had some sleep?

00:19:06.000 This is from the Seattle Pride March, a hybrid Palestine trans flag.
00:19:11.000 Yes, radical Islam and radical transgenderism all in one flag.
00:19:16.000 Now, of course, It would be weird for that to sit in one flag.
00:19:19.000 In fact, if you tried to fly this in Gaza, you would immediately be shoved off the top of a building or dragged behind a motorcycle.
00:19:25.000 That's how things would end for you in the Gaza Strip or, for that matter, in Ramallah.
00:19:31.000 But the idea is that this is the set of values.
00:19:33.000 The set of values is opposed to all the things.
00:19:36.000 It's opposed to all the things.
00:19:39.000 It turns out that's not enough to fly a Philadelphia Eagles flag or New England Patriots flag instead of the American flag.
00:19:45.000 If you actively do not like the American flag and the things it stands for, sooner or later you will end up At the hybrid Palestine trans flag.
00:19:53.000 That's where you will end up.
00:19:54.000 And in terms of governing, this is where we are going.
00:19:57.000 This is where we are going.
00:19:58.000 So Zorhan Mamdani is the Palestine trans flag in a human.
00:20:03.000 In a human.
00:20:04.000 That is Zorhan Mamdani.
00:20:06.000 He despises America and the principles that it stands for, despises them, believes that all of the founding principles of America are wrong.
00:20:13.000 And so he unifies in his very personage radical Islam and trans Pride Progress.
00:20:19.000 That is who Mom Dhani is.
00:20:20.000 That is the future of the left.
00:20:22.000 So over the weekend, Mom Dhani played tribute to Ashura.
00:20:27.000 He put out a tweet saying Ashura is a time, it shows him at mosque.
00:20:32.000 Again, you should know that when he does this routine where he's a religious Muslim and then immediately goes to a Pride Progress, Protest?
00:20:39.000 If you are a deeply religious Muslim, that is not a thing you do.
00:20:41.000 That is not a thing.
00:20:43.000 It's all takiyah.
00:20:44.000 It's a lie.
00:20:46.000 Imam Dhani says Ashura is a time of remembrance, sacrifice, and reflection.
00:20:49.000 Today, on the 10th day of Muharram, we are reminded of Imam Hussein's unwavering commitment to truth and dignity.
00:20:54.000 His timeless legacy reminds us of the enduring values of faith, service to one another, and the belief that justice is always worth fighting for.
00:21:00.000 Our city's strength comes from the many faith traditions that shape it and our shared struggle against injustice and oppression.
00:21:05.000 Again, that's the coalition.
00:21:08.000 Free Palestine, trans.
00:21:10.000 That's the coalition.
00:21:12.000 May we carry these values forward as we continue building a more just city for every New Yorker.
00:21:16.000 Again, I'm going to need to see the work.
00:21:18.000 Honestly, I want to see, I want to show the work.
00:21:20.000 How did Ashura shape America?
00:21:23.000 Also, by the way, we should point out that Ashura is a sectarian holiday.
00:21:27.000 It is not even a general Islamic holiday, like Ramadan or something.
00:21:30.000 It is sectarian.
00:21:32.000 Shia Muslims mourn Ashura because it commemorates what they call the martyrdom of Hussein ibn Ali, who was Muhammad's grandson at the Battle of Karbala in 680 CE.
00:21:44.000 Sunni Islam observes it as a day of gratitude and fasting to celebrate the day that Allah saved the prophet Moses from Pharaoh.
00:21:52.000 So again, two different and sectarian views of even that holiday.
00:21:56.000 So we're bringing like Islamic sectarianism to New York and then pretending that it's in unison with Pride Progress.
00:22:02.000 So here was Zoran Momdani, who again praises every radical Islamic group he can find being cheered at the Pride March.
00:22:10.000 The Pride Progress flag, the Free Palestine flag, they're the same.
00:22:13.000 Because what do they share?
00:22:13.000 Why?
00:22:14.000 What do they share?
00:22:16.000 In the end, the thing they hate is the American flag.
00:22:20.000 Dari Lisa Chevalier, when she said that she wanted to wipe her hands on the American flag, she was not lying.
00:22:26.000 She was not lying.
00:22:27.000 Here's some footage from New York over the weekend.
00:22:38.000 There he is walking.
00:22:39.000 They're all so excited.
00:22:40.000 They're so excited.
00:22:41.000 Oh, what happens to gay people in Uganda?
00:22:44.000 Nothing pleasant where he is from.
00:22:47.000 Meanwhile, the New York City pride chanted, Bottoms, Tops, we all hate cops, which is really the important thing.
00:22:54.000 It's, man, hating the system that the cops are literally standing there protecting this.
00:23:01.000 People running around chanting about whether they wish to pitch or catch.
00:23:05.000 Great stuff happening in New York.
00:23:23.000 With the trans pride progress flag.
00:23:25.000 Just wonderful, wonderful stuff here.
00:23:28.000 But to our mom, Dani says, Hey, you know what?
00:23:30.000 The Democratic Party is a big tent.
00:23:31.000 It's a big tent.
00:23:33.000 As it turns out, it's not that big.
00:23:34.000 We'll get to the smallness of the tent in a second, but this is what a takeover looks like.
00:23:40.000 But they're saying that if you're a socialist, you're not a Democrat.
00:23:43.000 I mean, is there room in the party for both of these views?
00:23:49.000 Yes, here I am.
00:23:50.000 And here are so many more.
00:23:52.000 And I think what makes our party a beautiful party is the fact that it's a big tent.
00:23:57.000 We have.
00:23:57.000 But you've also said it has to be a party with a spine, with a backbone.
00:24:00.000 Yes.
00:24:01.000 Even a tent has to stay up.
00:24:05.000 Okay, what's the tent pole?
00:24:06.000 God, the smugness, the smugness of this anti American jacket.
00:24:11.000 It's unbelievable.
00:24:13.000 Then he denies that he wants to run for president.
00:24:14.000 Well, I mean, first of all, he can't.
00:24:15.000 There's a constitutional bar to people who are born abroad running for president.
00:24:20.000 But, you know, Democrats would love to get rid of that for sure.
00:24:22.000 For Zoran Mondani, for Zoran Mondani specifically, not for somebody who actually, you know, likes America.
00:24:30.000 I noticed that you're turning 35 soon, right?
00:24:34.000 In a few months, yes.
00:24:35.000 So you now hit one of the constitutional requirements to run for president.
00:24:39.000 But there's another one that says you have to be a natural born citizen.
00:24:41.000 You were not born here.
00:24:43.000 Yes.
00:24:44.000 But do you think that's something that should be changed in the Constitution?
00:24:48.000 It would take an amendment, but do you think that we should change that?
00:24:52.000 No.
00:24:53.000 I think the Constitution looks good the way it is.
00:24:55.000 Just the way it is.
00:24:56.000 Just the way it is.
00:24:57.000 I'm very excited to focus on New York City.
00:24:59.000 But thank you for reminding me of my upcoming career.
00:25:02.000 35 years old.
00:25:05.000 He's lying, by the way.
00:25:06.000 I'm just going to put it out there.
00:25:08.000 That is not true.
00:25:08.000 He would absolutely love for them to change the constitution in this direction.
00:25:13.000 Meanwhile, Zarnamdani, it's amazing.
00:25:16.000 While he is tweeting about Ashura, and by the way, while he is literally going to the Pakistan Day parade in Brooklyn, okay, Pakistan is an Islamist hellhole.
00:25:25.000 Pakistan is a Sharia law country.
00:25:26.000 I'm going to flash back to August 2025.
00:25:30.000 Zarnamdani marching at the Pakistan Day parade in Brooklyn.
00:25:34.000 Okay, Pakistan Day, again.
00:25:36.000 Pakistan is an Islamist country that punishes homosexuality by law.
00:25:40.000 This is how you know he's a liar.
00:25:42.000 He's a liar.
00:25:44.000 Here he was celebrating Pakistan Independence Day.
00:25:58.000 Look, he's so happy.
00:26:00.000 He's so much happier than he is at Pride Parade.
00:26:03.000 He is overjoyed walking at the Pakistan Day Parade.
00:26:06.000 Now, Momdani famously did not show up at the Israel Day Parade, which you would assume since he hates Jews.
00:26:12.000 But here he was explaining to John Carl that the reason he actually doesn't like the Jewish state is because he just doesn't like any state that has religion attached to it.
00:26:20.000 Because he's lying.
00:26:22.000 He is a liar.
00:26:26.000 And the idea of a Jewish state, Israel is a Jewish state that's in the charter.
00:26:29.000 That's the way it is now.
00:26:32.000 Do you support that?
00:26:33.000 I've said time and again that I support the state of Israel as a state with equal rights.
00:26:37.000 I believe that any state that privileges.
00:26:39.000 What is a Jewish state?
00:26:40.000 Is the question.
00:26:40.000 I think any state that privileges one religion over the other is one that I can't tell you I support, whether it be Israel or Saudi Arabia or anywhere else.
00:26:48.000 And a lot of that comes back to a fundamental belief that we should all be considered equal no matter what our faith is.
00:26:55.000 He's lying.
00:26:57.000 He's absolutely lying.
00:26:58.000 But if you believe him, then you're a stupid person, a truly stupid person.
00:27:02.000 You must have been dropped as a baby multiple times.
00:27:04.000 But apparently.
00:27:05.000 God filled the world with people who have been dropped as babies.
00:27:09.000 There's no other way to explain it.
00:27:10.000 The Democratic Party, again, this is their flag.
00:27:12.000 Their flag is the Pride, Progress, Free Palestine flag.
00:27:14.000 One of their other candidates, Abdul El Sayed, he is likely to be the nominee in Michigan for Senate.
00:27:22.000 And here he is ripping simultaneously on Chuck Schumer, the Senate minority leader, as well as, of course, AIPAC, which, again, AIPAC, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, is just AIPAC.
00:27:36.000 Jews and Christians give to in favor of the existence of the state of Israel.
00:27:40.000 And of course, a healthcare CEO.
00:27:41.000 He says he's dangerous to healthcare CEOs.
00:27:43.000 Do you understand?
00:27:44.000 It's so crazy.
00:27:45.000 Saying this kind of stuff, a healthcare CEO was just shot last year to death.
00:27:49.000 Don't worry, he's dangerous to healthcare CEOs, though.
00:27:51.000 That's the important thing.
00:27:54.000 I'm not dangerous if you need government to work for you.
00:27:57.000 I'll tell you what.
00:27:58.000 I sure am dangerous if you're one of those folks who's a corporation or a special interest.
00:28:08.000 Or a politician who does their bidding who's stopping government from working for you.
00:28:12.000 So, yeah, if you're Chuck Schumer, I'm dangerous.
00:28:19.000 If you're APAC, I'm dangerous.
00:28:21.000 If you're a corporate PAC, I'm dangerous.
00:28:26.000 If you're Blue Cross Mushroom CEO, I'm pretty damn dangerous.
00:28:37.000 If you're an American who loves America, these people are dangerous.
00:28:45.000 Dangerous.
00:28:47.000 The Democratic Socialists of America, of course, stand behind Momdani.
00:28:50.000 They stand behind Abdul El Sayed and all the rest of this nonsense.
00:28:53.000 National Steering Committee member David Jenkins explains what their goal is.
00:28:57.000 The answer is communism.
00:28:59.000 By the way, he is a mime.
00:29:02.000 He is a mime.
00:29:03.000 The theater kids have taken over.
00:29:05.000 These dorks.
00:29:06.000 You're going to give these dorks power.
00:29:08.000 This is your choice, America.
00:29:10.000 According to the New York Post, Flatbush theater kid David Jenkins was elected last year to the DSA's National Political Committee.
00:29:17.000 He's a self avowed anti capitalist, which you could imagine.
00:29:20.000 I understand why you'd be anti capitalist if you're a mime, because ain't nobody paying you to be a mime.
00:29:23.000 So you got to find some other economic system where someone will pay you to be a professional, useless person who can't get out of even imaginary box.
00:29:31.000 He apparently is a proud founder of the Broken Box Mime Theater, where he performs pantomime to a heart thumping soundtrack in full mime makeup, like something out of Tangled.
00:29:41.000 Here he is explaining what America should do.
00:29:44.000 I mean, our goal is liberation.
00:29:48.000 Our goal is communism.
00:29:49.000 My name is David Jenkins.
00:29:50.000 I'm a lifelong New Yorker.
00:29:51.000 And today I am again calling on the City Council to disband the NYPD's brutal, unnecessary strategic response group and directly divert its funding to any, any of the public services fellow New Yorkers have called for today.
00:30:03.000 I'm planning to run for the MPC at convention under the banner of the Libertarian Socialist Caucus.
00:30:07.000 We're a diverse body of Libertarian Socialists, Libertarian Marxists, Anarchists, Left Communists, and other schools of thought within the sort of left wing socialist movement.
00:30:17.000 This is what they are.
00:30:18.000 This is what they are, and this is what they're going to be.
00:30:21.000 And it's coming to a city near you.
00:30:24.000 Over in Colorado, there is a congressional candidate, Emilat Kiros, who's supported, of course, by Hassan Piker and the DSA.
00:30:30.000 This person is running against a 15 term member of the House Progressive Caucus named Diana DeJet.
00:30:38.000 That lady is so wildly to the left DeJet that her platform includes abolishing ICE, expanding affordable housing and childcare, Medicare for all, authoring Of defending all energy and climate regulation and endorsed by Planned Parenthood.
00:30:51.000 And it doesn't matter because Malat Kirosh is outflanking her.
00:30:56.000 Okay, because again, what it comes down to for the radical left is hatred of the country.
00:31:01.000 Understand, that is the feature, not the bug.
00:31:04.000 I know, normie Americans, we look at this and we're like, what the hell?
00:31:08.000 How is it that somebody like Zar Mamdani could win despite being radically anti American, radically pro Islamic terrorism, radically pro trans radicalism?
00:31:18.000 How could he win?
00:31:19.000 He won because of those things.
00:31:21.000 Understand, whatever is most opposed to the fundamental bases of America and Western civilization, whatever is most opposed to those things, that is the reason that they are winning.
00:31:31.000 Because for generations, we have ceded a deep hatred of the country.
00:31:36.000 A deep hatred of the country.
00:31:39.000 Here is Milat Kirosh running through her platform, which, by the way, is psychotic, of course.
00:31:48.000 What are your five main policy proposals?
00:31:51.000 Medicare for all, housing first, universal child care, abolishing ICE.
00:31:56.000 And more than anything, the thing that I'm the most focused on is publicly financed elections.
00:32:01.000 Okay.
00:32:02.000 That's cool.
00:32:02.000 Wow.
00:32:03.000 Now we're going to do rapid fire.
00:32:03.000 All right.
00:32:05.000 Okay.
00:32:06.000 Do you support Medicare for all?
00:32:08.000 Yes.
00:32:09.000 Do you support universal child care?
00:32:10.000 Yes.
00:32:11.000 And elder care?
00:32:12.000 And elder care?
00:32:14.000 Okay.
00:32:15.000 You know, I'm not in favor of giving boomers anything, but that's fine.
00:32:20.000 You know, that's the difference between you and I, I guess.
00:32:25.000 The abolition of ICE.
00:32:26.000 Yes.
00:32:27.000 The Green New Deal.
00:32:28.000 Yes.
00:32:29.000 National rent control.
00:32:30.000 Yes.
00:32:31.000 Interesting.
00:32:32.000 Ending the embargo on Cuba.
00:32:33.000 Yes.
00:32:34.000 Ending the embargo on ending the war in Iran.
00:32:38.000 Yes.
00:32:39.000 Ending aid to Israel.
00:32:40.000 Sanctioning Israel.
00:32:40.000 Yes.
00:32:41.000 Yes.
00:32:42.000 A free Palestine.
00:32:43.000 Yes.
00:32:44.000 Okay.
00:32:45.000 That's who she is probably going to win in Colorado.
00:32:47.000 This is a lady who says openly that the 9 11 attacks were inevitable.
00:32:50.000 Okay.
00:32:51.000 This is just Osama bin Laden.
00:32:53.000 She just sounds like Osama bin Laden.
00:32:53.000 Okay.
00:32:55.000 If you just read the quotes back to back, she and bin Laden saying the same thing.
00:32:59.000 Period.
00:33:00.000 By the way, also said by Jeremiah Wright, Obama sat in his church for 20 years.
00:33:03.000 Here we go.
00:33:05.000 Do you believe that the 9 11 terrorist attacks on America were the inevitable consequence of American foreign policy?
00:33:14.000 I believe that the quote in which that is probably being referenced by, in the context in which it was happening, was referencing a Pentagon official who was talking about the acts that America was taking in parts of the Middle East.
00:33:30.000 I want to clarify I'm just asking you about your own words, your frame of the October 7th attacks.
00:33:35.000 Attacks was that that was an inevitable consequence for Israel based on its actions.
00:33:39.000 And I'm asking you, was 9 11 an inevitable consequence for America based on U.S. foreign policy?
00:33:47.000 Inevitable in the sense that we destabilized a lot of the Middle East, that forced people to believe that another act of violence was the only response.
00:33:58.000 And again, just like I said before, our responsibility is to getting rid of those conditions that lead to violence in the first place.
00:34:06.000 Okay.
00:34:06.000 This is just Osama bin Laden crap.
00:34:08.000 It's just Osama bin Laden's letter.
00:34:11.000 Remember a few years ago went viral on TikTok when a bunch of Gen Zers discovered Osama bin Laden's letter and then they said they agreed with it.
00:34:17.000 That is the future if the DSA candidates continue to win.
00:34:20.000 If you replace the American flag with something, it's got to be replaced by, it doesn't get replaced by the Philadelphia Eagles flag because people cannot find solidarity enough in a Philadelphia Eagles flag.
00:34:30.000 They can only find solidarity across this coalition of the supposedly dispossessed.
00:34:36.000 In hatred for the American flag.
00:34:38.000 And so the symbol of burning the American flag is that trans Palestine flag.
00:34:42.000 That's what it is.
00:34:43.000 Emilat Kirosh is exactly this thing.
00:34:45.000 What an amazing video you just watched.
00:34:47.000 Wasn't that amazing?
00:34:48.000 Well, you know, if you think so, head on over to dailywire.comslash subscribe to watch the full show ad free or check out this crazy story here.
