The Ben Shapiro Show - The Propagandist, Lying, Activist Establishment Media Must Be Torn Down | Ep. 1228

00:00:00.000 Major League Baseball moves the all-star game out of Georgia based on media lies, and 60 Minutes runs a completely false hit piece on Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

00:01:26.000 Alrighty, so.

00:01:27.000 Over the weekend, Major League Baseball, the national pastime, decided that they would become just the Democratic pastime.

00:01:32.000 They decided they were going to cancel the All-Star Game in Georgia.

00:01:35.000 This cancellation was based on overt Democratic lies parroted and forwarded by an establishment media that are partisan hacks. 0.68

00:01:42.000 They are partisan activist liars.

00:01:44.000 This is what they do for a living.

00:01:45.000 Now, I've been hesitant to use the phrase enemy of the people because it's a Stalinist phrase that suggests that people should go to jail or that bad things should happen to people.

00:01:52.000 But let me just say that the media are the enemies of the truth.

00:01:55.000 The establishment media are just partisan hacks at this point.

00:01:58.000 They've allowed Joe Biden and the Biden administration to simply lie about the content of this Georgia voter law, which is more liberal with regard to early voting than laws in places like New Jersey.

00:02:08.000 Its voter ID requirement is utterly uncontroversial.

00:02:11.000 It did not dismantle all ballot drop boxes or anything like that.

00:02:14.000 Ballot drop boxes are a new thing that were sort of created for the pandemic.

00:02:18.000 It limited the number of those.

00:02:19.000 It didn't get rid of all of them.

00:02:21.000 It expanded, in many ways, the voting hours in Georgia.

00:02:23.000 This is an extraordinarily mild law in Georgia, but that's not what you'd get if you read your mainstream media.

00:02:29.000 If you read your establishment media, what you would get is that this was a Jim Crow attempt to stop black people from voting. 0.95

00:02:34.000 That was a lie, a lie, a lie. 0.97

00:02:36.000 It was a lie all the way through.

00:02:38.000 And Joe Biden kept saying, Jim Crow.

00:02:40.000 Over and over and over.

00:02:40.000 And nobody in the media saw fit to fact check that statement.

00:02:44.000 They would fact check very specific statements that Joe Biden made on occasion.

00:02:47.000 So you get the Washington Post giving Joe Biden four Pinocchios for suggesting that the Georgia bill limited voting hours.

00:02:53.000 But would they overall rate his statement that this was like a Jim Crow voting law?

00:02:57.000 Of course not.

00:02:58.000 Of course not.

00:02:59.000 Even though it is overtly a lie. 1.00

00:03:01.000 You have to be so unbelievably ignorant and stupid to believe that this Georgia law has anything to do with Jim Crow. 0.99

00:03:07.000 And yet, if you polled Americans, I would bet money that half of Americans think that this is Jim Crow racism, this Georgia voter law, which again, is more liberal than Delaware state voting law, apparently. 1.00

00:03:18.000 So here's what happened.

00:03:19.000 Joe Biden and the Biden administration and his partners in the media, because that's what they are.

00:03:24.000 They are not objective in any way.

00:03:26.000 They are simply propagandists on behalf of the Democratic Party.

00:03:29.000 This partisan hack group decided to push that lie and not just push that lie, then in activist fashion to try and pressure private corporations into pressuring public bodies like the Georgia state legislature or like the governor of Georgia.

00:03:43.000 So they're trying to mobilize corporations to do their dirty work for them. 0.76

00:03:46.000 They don't have control of the levers of power in Georgia.

00:03:49.000 So instead what they're going to do is they're going to try and get private corporations to pressure all of these public bodies into doing what they want.

00:03:55.000 Now, there's a certain irony to this.

00:03:57.000 Members of the left are constantly saying, Corporations, they shouldn't be donating money in politics.

00:04:01.000 They shouldn't be in politics.

00:04:02.000 Look at these corporations with their corporate money influencing politics.

00:04:06.000 And then, at the exact same time, they will demand that these corporations actively use their businesses, right?

00:04:12.000 Not just their funds, their businesses themselves.

00:04:15.000 They should change how they do business in order to punish Republican states.

00:04:19.000 And so they put a lot of pressure on Major League Baseball.

00:04:22.000 Joe Biden went on ESPN and he overtly called for Major League Baseball to remove the All-Star Game from Georgia. 0.92

00:04:27.000 And Major League Baseball and Rob Manfred, who's an abject coward. 1.00

00:04:30.000 He's a pathetic, abject coward. 1.00

00:04:32.000 He's a yellow-bellied coward. 1.00

00:04:33.000 That cowardly, ridiculous person decided, you know what? 1.00

00:04:37.000 That's what we're going to do. 1.00

00:04:38.000 We're going to pull the All-Star Game from Georgia.

00:04:41.000 And this follows in the footsteps of other sports that have done similar things.

00:04:43.000 We saw the NCAA pull basketball games from North Carolina after a bill that would have protected women's bathrooms in Charlotte. 1.00

00:04:51.000 We saw that there were sports leagues that attempted to target Arizona in the aftermath of Jan Brewer, former governor of Arizona, pushing the idea that Arizona was going to enforce immigration law on a state level.

00:05:02.000 This is nothing new.

00:05:03.000 It's just the latest iteration. 0.99

00:05:04.000 And it's the most ridiculous iteration because it is based on just complete, utter lies. 0.91

00:05:10.000 Again, the Georgia law is not offensive for anyone who's actually looked at the Georgia law. 0.98

00:05:14.000 The lies about this bill are insane.

00:05:16.000 The lie that you can't drink water or be given water if you're 150 feet from a polling place.

00:05:21.000 No, you can't have a partisan activist bring you water. 0.91

00:05:23.000 But there are poll workers there and they will bring you water.

00:05:26.000 You can bring water yourself.

00:05:27.000 You can have a friend go get you water.

00:05:29.000 This is the same law that applies in a bevy of states, but that's not what you heard about this law, is it? 0.99

00:05:34.000 What you heard from Stacey Abrams, who is a liar, and Joe Biden, who is a liar, and the media, who are liars, is that this is a Jim Crow voting tactic designed to stop black people from voting. 0.99

00:05:42.000 Again, an overt lie. 1.00

00:05:45.000 And Major League Baseball decided to mirror that lie.

00:05:48.000 Again, these lies were consistent over and over, and the media just repeated them.

00:05:54.000 The Washington Post reported, Abrams actually claimed, this is a claim from Stacey Abrams, again, the greatest politician in American history, Stacey Abrams.

00:06:03.000 She claimed, quote, that the Georgia GOP traded economic opportunity for suppression. 0.98

00:06:08.000 This was suppression of the vote.

00:06:11.000 The Washington Post, by the way, did report in a fact check that experts consulted by the newspaper said the net effect was to expand the opportunities to vote for most Georgians, not limit them.

00:06:18.000 But that didn't stop the Washington Post from simply repeating ad nauseum Joe Biden's lines about how this was Jim Crow racism.

00:06:26.000 Biden said that he would strongly support the league boycotting the city over the law that was passed by democratically elected officials, according to Daily Wire.

00:06:34.000 Georgia Governor Brian Kemp fought back against all of this.

00:06:37.000 He said, there's no way we should apologize for this law. 0.99

00:06:38.000 Are you guys insane? 0.95

00:06:39.000 There's nothing wrong with the law. 0.91

00:06:41.000 There were mechanical issues that needed to be fixed.

00:06:45.000 There were reasons to try to figure out a better way, a more accessible way, and a more secure way for us to hold elections.

00:06:56.000 And there's nothing wrong with that.

00:06:57.000 We shouldn't apologize for wanting to make it easy to vote and hard to cheat.

00:07:03.000 Maybe there's an argument for boycotts and protests and moving all-star games, but that is not what happened.

00:07:11.000 What happened was Georgia is going to have secure, very accessible, and fair elections in the future in this state.

00:07:19.000 It can also went ahead and slam Joe Biden, who of course had lied about the Georgia law over and over and over again.

00:07:26.000 Certainly doesn't help when you have the president of the United States saying that and nobody in the national media, at least in the mainstream media, will even ask for a correction when he simply lies, gets a four Pinocchios of all people of all places from the Washington I mean, that should tell you right there, he's not being truthful.

00:07:47.000 He continues to lie and mislead about what the bill does.

00:07:51.000 So how exactly did this boycott come about by the MLB?

00:07:54.000 How exactly did Major League Baseball, America's national pastime, decide that they are simply going to inject themselves into American politics on the state level and punish states on the basis of democratic lies?

00:08:03.000 How did this happen?

00:08:04.000 Here's, I'll give you that story in just one second, because it truly is incredible.

00:08:07.000 It shows you how a small and transient group of people, along with the media pushing from the outside in activist fashion, can make this stuff happen.

00:08:15.000 It really is an amazing, amazing thing.

00:08:16.000 We'll get to that in just one second.

00:08:17.000 First, Here's a serious issue.

00:08:31.000 You'd have to find a friend, the friend would tell you about their life insurance policy, then you'd end up with a life insurance policy that was actually not the best on the market because you couldn't competitively shop this thing.

00:09:29.000 Go to policygenius.com to get started.

00:09:31.000 PolicyGenius, when it comes to insurance, it's nice and important to get it right.

00:09:34.000 So how did all of this materialize?

00:09:36.000 It materialized because just like all corporate blowhardism, basically you have a small intransigent group of people inside a corporation.

00:09:44.000 Doesn't have to be very large.

00:09:46.000 They just have to be very loud and very intransigent.

00:09:48.000 And they work an inside-outside game with the media.

00:09:50.000 They push from the inside, this small intransigent group of folks, and then you have the media pretending that this represents a broad majority inside the corporation, and threatening that corporation with outside action if they refuse to acknowledge what these wokesters inside their own halls want. 0.97

00:10:07.000 Right, this is how you get Woka Cola.

00:10:08.000 You get Woka Cola because you have a very small percentage of employees at Woka Cola, 20% of the employees, and they decide that they don't like the Georgia law.

00:10:16.000 And then you have the media on the outside yelling at Coke.

00:10:18.000 And you have all of the heads of Coke going, well, you know, does it really matter if we like, just say we don't like the Georgia law?

00:10:22.000 Is that really that big a deal?

00:10:23.000 We'll just put out a statement saying we don't like it and then they'll leave us alone.

00:10:26.000 Okay, this is what happened with the MLB, with Major League Baseball.

00:10:30.000 And again, On a personal level, I don't have a lot of brand investments, right?

00:10:34.000 I don't care if I don't drink Coke.

00:10:35.000 It doesn't make any difference to me.

00:10:36.000 I don't drink Coke in the first place.

00:10:37.000 I'm not a soda person.

00:10:39.000 But I do care about Major League Baseball.

00:10:41.000 I'm an enormous baseball fan.

00:10:42.000 I've been an enormous baseball fan my entire life.

00:10:44.000 My father and I wrote a full-on book about the 2005 Chicago White Sox championship season.

00:10:49.000 We went through literally every game that season.

00:10:51.000 That's how big a baseball fan I am.

00:10:53.000 I'm a huge, huge baseball fan.

00:10:55.000 I grew up with it.

00:10:56.000 It's a part of sort of the lifeblood of the country.

00:10:59.000 And seeing that lifeblood poisoned with the politics of wokeness is deeply disturbing.

00:11:06.000 It's disturbing on a number of levels.

00:11:07.000 First, they're taking things that we all should be able to share together and they're wrecking them.

00:11:10.000 They're politicizing them.

00:11:12.000 But just as importantly, they are taking cherished aspects of American culture and they are turning them to politics.

00:11:20.000 And once you do that, there's nothing we share.

00:11:22.000 They're making it.

00:11:23.000 The left is making it.

00:11:24.000 So there's literally nothing we share.

00:11:25.000 We can't share a baseball game without getting political.

00:11:27.000 We can't pick a razor brand without getting political.

00:11:29.000 Everything is political now, and this is the way they want it.

00:11:32.000 This is why when you hear some conservatives say, why are you so worried about the culture wars?

00:11:35.000 Why don't you just worry about the spending?

00:11:36.000 I care about the spending.

00:11:37.000 I do. 0.88

00:11:38.000 I care about Joe Biden's crappy bills.

00:11:39.000 We'll get to that.

00:11:40.000 But I care much more deeply about culture because culture is upstream of politics.

00:11:44.000 A culture that refuses to acknowledge dissent as legitimate.

00:11:48.000 A culture that refuses to acknowledge political diversity.

00:11:50.000 A culture that says you can't work at this corporation because you voted for Trump.

00:11:53.000 Or that you can't have an all-star game in your state if you voted the way we don't like.

00:11:58.000 That culture is not destined to remain.

00:12:01.000 That is a culture that is destined to break down, to polarize, and then to just collapse in on itself like a dying star.

00:12:06.000 And that's what we're seeing in the United States right now.

00:12:08.000 How exactly did Major League Baseball, again, A coalition of teams with an antitrust exemption that should be removed now?

00:12:16.000 How did that coalition of teams with teams all over the United States, including in red areas?

00:12:21.000 Okay, Georgia, despite the fact that it just elected two blue senators in a bizarre special election, it still is a red state.

00:12:29.000 It has a red legislature.

00:12:30.000 It has a red governor.

00:12:31.000 And now after this, it's going to have two red senators next time it comes up. 1.00

00:12:35.000 How exactly did this league decide that it was time to just alienate half of its fanbase?

00:12:40.000 Minimum half of its fanbase?

00:12:42.000 Commissioner Rob Manfred, according to ESPN, made the decision to move the All-Star Game and Events, along with the amateur draft from Atlanta, after discussions with individual big leaguers and the Players' Alliance, an organization of black players formed after the death of George Floyd last year.

00:12:56.000 This all came together rather quickly, said Chicago Cubs outfielder Jason Hayward, who is black.

00:12:59.000 We had, I think, a day left in spring training.

00:13:01.000 The Players' Alliance, we gathered and got as many people as we could on a call.

00:13:04.000 It was probably less than 50 guys on there out of the 100 or whatever.

00:13:08.000 We had our conversation.

00:13:10.000 We knew how we felt about it.

00:13:11.000 We wanted to make sure, I think, that regardless of what happened, the decision was made and that we were there to do what we could in Atlanta.

00:13:16.000 So, number one, they promulgated a lie.

00:13:18.000 That the Georgia voter law was about voter suppression.

00:13:20.000 It was not.

00:13:21.000 And that was based on a larger lie that Democrats were pushing over the course of the last few years, which is every time they lost an election, it was about suppression of the black vote.

00:13:28.000 It was a lie.

00:13:29.000 It's been a lie.

00:13:29.000 It continues to be a lie.

00:13:31.000 This has nothing to do with Jim Crow.

00:13:33.000 It has nothing to do with race. 0.97

00:13:34.000 And it's disgusting. 0.54

00:13:35.000 I mean, really repulsive that the media parroted that lie and treated it as legitimate over and over and over.

00:13:40.000 But for our purposes, it's just as important to see that the MLB shifted its entire stance and removed, according to the Cobb County officials in Georgia, $100 million in revenue from Cobb County because 45 players in MLB decided to write a letter to Rob Manfred.

00:14:00.000 I mean, that's unbelievable.

00:14:02.000 According to Daily Wire, Georgia County that voted for Biden will lose $100 million over the MLB relocating the game.

00:14:10.000 $100 million is removed from the local economy, people will lose their jobs, because Jason Hayward, who makes millions of dollars for being an overrated baseball player, and some 40 other players, decided that it was deeply necessary for the MLB to move its all-star game.

00:14:24.000 And Rob Manfred, because he's a coward, decided to go along with it.

00:14:27.000 But was it really about those players? 0.92

00:14:29.000 Was it really?

00:14:29.000 It wasn't only about those players.

00:14:31.000 It was certainly partially about those players, because those players were very loud, and they were shouting about racial justice, even though, again, this had nothing to do with race, and it was based on a lie.

00:14:40.000 But it was about this intransigent, woke minority inside MLB combined with a media that was actively pushing this stuff.

00:14:49.000 Actively pushing this stuff.

00:14:51.000 And when I say actively pushing this stuff, let me give you an example of just how actively they were pushing this stuff in just one second, because it shows what the media are.

00:15:01.000 They're an activist propaganda group on behalf of the Democratic Party.

00:15:04.000 That's all they are.

00:15:05.000 They deserve no more respect than the normal press release that you get from the DNC, or from the Democratic National Campaign Committee, or from Media Matters.

00:15:16.000 They're just an activist group.

00:15:17.000 They're a propaganda outlet.

00:15:19.000 They are the Pravda of the Democratic Party.

00:15:21.000 We'll get to the proof in the pudding in just one second.

00:15:24.000 First, let's talk about a great gift.

00:15:25.000 Something you can do that's amazing for your family.

00:15:27.000 So, if you have family, if you have parents, grandparents, just your family, you want to make sure that your family memories are preserved.

00:15:34.000 It's such an important thing.

00:15:36.000 Nowadays, most of us take our pictures on our phone.

00:15:38.000 We have videos on our phone.

00:15:39.000 But, when you were growing up, that was not available, obviously.

00:15:42.000 You used to take it on the camcorder, and there's little tapes, and you'd pop them in a little, like, VHS thing.

00:15:46.000 Nobody has a VCR.

00:15:47.000 Nobody has one of those little tapes.

00:15:48.000 Those things don't exist anymore.

00:15:49.000 So, you've got, in your garage, boxes of this stuff.

00:15:52.000 What do you do with it?

00:15:52.000 It's just taking up space.

00:15:53.000 Instead, have it transferred over to a digital format, and save it forever.

00:16:41.000 Okay, so. 1.00

00:16:43.000 Here is the proof that your media are just a bag of flaming garbage who need to be torn down. 1.00

00:16:47.000 CBS, they're just activists. 0.99

00:16:50.000 CBS, because MLB didn't shift just because of these woke players, these 45 woke players or whomever.

00:16:55.000 By the way, how many total MLB players?

00:16:58.000 Total number of MLB players right now is something like 1,000.

00:17:05.000 There are 1,000 players on opening day rosters of the MLB.

00:17:08.000 Over 1,000.

00:17:10.000 Less than 50 players made the MLB move that.

00:17:13.000 According to ESPN.

00:17:14.000 That's how little the intransigent minority has to be in order to reshape the entire industry. 0.99

00:17:19.000 It's unreal.

00:17:20.000 It's unreal.

00:17:21.000 And that only happens because the media are who the media are.

00:17:24.000 Cause what do the media do?

00:17:25.000 What the media do is they then call up MLB's advertisers.

00:17:28.000 They call up Woca Cola and they say, you guys advertise with MLB.

00:17:31.000 You just said that you came out against the Georgia bill, but I see that you're advertising with the MLB who's having their all-star game in Georgia.

00:17:38.000 Why would you do that?

00:17:39.000 And then Woca Cola calls up MLB and they say, you know what?

00:17:41.000 It's real awkward for us.

00:17:42.000 Why don't you move the all-star game? 0.96

00:17:44.000 That's how this little pathetic game works. 0.90

00:17:46.000 And the media are in on it. 0.95

00:17:48.000 When the media call up Coca-Cola for comment, they're not calling them for comment.

00:17:51.000 They're demanding action from Coca-Cola. 0.99

00:17:54.000 Because the threat is, we are now going to run a headline saying that Coca-Cola is a bunch of hypocrites. 0.96

00:17:58.000 This is why, number one, these corporations should never give an inch. 0.96

00:18:01.000 Because once the inch is given, they are done.

00:18:03.000 The minute you feed a toad to the alligator, the rest of you is gone.

00:18:06.000 Okay, this is the Robert Shaw scene in Jaws.

00:18:09.000 The minute you're sliding down that deck and you're trying to fend off the shark with your feet, pretty soon you're gonna find your torso in its mouth.

00:18:15.000 That is what's happening to all of these corporations right now.

00:18:19.000 So, how does he, this is the perfect proof.

00:18:22.000 CBS put out a headline over the weekend.

00:18:24.000 Here was the headline, it was Friday night.

00:18:27.000 Quote, three ways companies can help fight Georgia's restrictive new voting law.

00:18:33.000 Does that sound like news to you?

00:18:35.000 That was not in their opinion section.

00:18:38.000 There was no opinion tag or disclaimer on the article.

00:18:41.000 Three ways companies can help fight Georgia's restrictive new voting law.

00:18:45.000 So, number one, a few problems.

00:18:47.000 One, it is not a restrictive new voting law.

00:18:48.000 It expands voting.

00:18:50.000 Expands it.

00:18:51.000 Two, so that's just a lie.

00:18:52.000 Two, that is a perfectly activist headline.

00:18:55.000 You would see that from the Democratic National Committee.

00:18:58.000 You would see that at Stacey Abrams' website.

00:19:00.000 Three ways companies can help fight, right?

00:19:02.000 The implication being if you don't, then you're in favor of Georgia's evil restrictive new voting law.

00:19:06.000 The media are activists. 1.00

00:19:08.000 If you give them an iota of respect, it is because you're being a dumb-dumb. 1.00

00:19:11.000 They deserve none of your respect. 1.00

00:19:13.000 This doesn't mean don't watch what they say and then don't fact-check it.

00:19:16.000 You should fact-check it. 1.00

00:19:17.000 But if you take what they say at face value, it's because you're a moron. 0.99

00:19:19.000 There is no way that you should be watching CBS News and taking it at face value. 0.99

00:19:23.000 There's just no way to do it.

00:19:25.000 And it's just mirroring Democratic Party priorities.

00:19:27.000 That's all they do.

00:19:27.000 That's their actual agenda.

00:19:29.000 Why? 0.94

00:19:29.000 Because if the media actually reported what's going on with MLB, it would be perfectly obvious how hypocritical MLB is. 0.94

00:19:35.000 As Fox News reported, it turns out that Major League Baseball is protesting that Georgia voting law.

00:19:40.000 Meanwhile, they have bolstered ties with a Communist Party-backed Chinese company that cracked down on an NBA executive who supported the pro-democracy move in Hong Kong.

00:19:49.000 The MLB signed a deal with Tencent on Wednesday.

00:19:51.000 It's one of China's largest tech companies.

00:19:53.000 It's one of the Chinese firms that briefly dropped NBA games in 2019, after former Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey publicly voiced support for pro-democracy protesters facing a Beijing-backed crackdown in Hong Kong.

00:20:05.000 As always, it turns out that these sports teams, it's all about the money.

00:20:08.000 It's not about how they are principled opponents of the Georgia voting law.

00:20:11.000 It's because they wish to avoid the scrutiny of the media, who don't care at all that all of these corporations are doing business with the worst people on earth.

00:20:20.000 Companies that are sponsored by the repressive and tyrannical Chinese government. 0.83

00:20:25.000 It's just, it's an incredible, incredible, that headline, my goodness, CBS News eventually pulled it. 0.99

00:20:30.000 But the fact that it was even up just demonstrates where your media are, and they are garbage. 0.96

00:20:34.000 By the way, speaking of hypocrisy, remember, Joe Biden called for MLB to move the All-Star Game, right? 0.98

00:20:40.000 That's the real reason this happened.

00:20:41.000 Joe Biden called for it.

00:20:42.000 Stacey Abrams didn't call for it, but basically said that the Georgia voting law is Jim Crow, which promulgated the myth.

00:20:49.000 The media pushed it, and then you had just enough people inside MLB yelling about it that Rob Manfred wimped out, because that's what he was going to do.

00:20:56.000 Meanwhile, Jen Psaki can't answer a very simple question.

00:20:59.000 Why is it that you're saying companies should boycott Georgia, but you, the President of the United States, the White House, you are not calling for the United States to boycott the Olympics in China?

00:21:09.000 Which it turns out is, you want to know a country that has really restrictive voting laws?

00:21:12.000 Like super restrictive voting laws?

00:21:13.000 Not about like, People who are partisan giving water bottles to people 150 paces from the voting place.

00:21:20.000 But you know, people being sent to detention camps if they vote the wrong way.

00:21:24.000 You know, China.

00:21:25.000 Bad voting laws over there.

00:21:27.000 And yet, strangely, Joe Biden seems perfectly willing to have an Olympics in China.

00:21:32.000 When can we expect a final determination from the president about the United States participating in the Beijing Olympics, given that he said the Chinese president doesn't have a democratic bone in his body?

00:21:45.000 Well, I think the U.S.

00:21:46.000 Olympic Committee would play a big role in... ...on Major League Baseball here in the United States.

00:21:51.000 He actually didn't, I think, I don't know if you heard the question, the answer that happened a few minutes ago, where we addressed this, and I answered the question.

00:21:59.000 So, and I give a little more context, but maybe you weren't paying attention to that part. 0.97

00:22:04.000 Oh, no, you're just a liar. 1.00

00:22:05.000 You're just a liar. 1.00

00:22:05.000 You're fine with the United States doing the Beijing Olympics because you don't care if China represses its own people. 1.00

00:22:11.000 But you do care about lying about Georgia so that you can presumably win a bigger share of the black vote by lying to black voters that Jim Crow is coming for them. 0.80

00:22:18.000 It's not a shock that the same Joe Biden who claimed that Mitt Romney wanted to put black people back in chains is claiming that a law that expands voting access in Georgia actually restricts it to hurt black people. 1.00

00:22:26.000 They're just damned liars, and the media repeat it. 1.00

00:22:28.000 They repeat it full scale. 1.00

00:22:29.000 Now, here's the good news.

00:22:31.000 There's going to be a backlash.

00:22:33.000 Okay, so let's talk about that backlash for a second.

00:22:35.000 Here's the reality in Georgia.

00:22:37.000 What's about to happen in Georgia is that Raphael Warnock is about to lose his seat.

00:22:41.000 Okay, he is up for re-election in about a year and a half here.

00:22:45.000 Not even, right?

00:22:46.000 He's up for reelection.

00:22:46.000 Yeah, about a year and a half.

00:22:48.000 November of 2022.

00:22:49.000 He's gonna lose his seat.

00:22:50.000 He's going to lose his seat because it turns out that the people of Georgia only voted for Raphael Warnock basically because Donald Trump intervened in the Georgia Senate race.

00:22:58.000 Both of those seats should have gone Republican. 0.96

00:23:00.000 So that was up there.

00:23:01.000 Second, it turns out that when you lead a movement to boycott your own state, that's really unpopular, which is why Stacey Abrams, who is the lead promulgator of the overt lie that this was a Jim Crow Georgia voting bill, even she came out against MLB.

00:23:14.000 She said she blamed Republicans for it.

00:23:16.000 She said they prioritized making it harder for people of color to vote over the economic well-being of all Georgians.

00:23:21.000 Like many Georgians, I am disappointed the MLB is relocating the All-Star Game.

00:23:24.000 However, I commend the player's owner and lead commissioner for speaking out.

00:23:28.000 So in other words, she wants it both ways.

00:23:29.000 She's very happy that everybody's speaking out and removing the All-Star Game, but also she's sad they're removing the All-Star Game.

00:23:34.000 That's because she's recognizing, maybe for the first time, that people losing economic activity because they disagree with Stacey Abrams might not be a great electoral strategy in a state like Georgia.

00:23:45.000 The backlash is coming, and it's coming strong.

00:23:47.000 And it should come strong.

00:23:49.000 And there's a piece by Dave Seminara in the Wall Street Journal called What I Wouldn't Give for a Shave That Isn't Woke.

00:23:55.000 He says, from my closet to my bathroom, my house is full of leftist brands.

00:23:57.000 It's time to do something about it.

00:23:59.000 He says, maybe I was wrong to think conservatives should refrain from adopting the bullying, boycotting tactics of the left.

00:24:04.000 I made the case against emulating progressives in these pages last summer as I lamented the rise of the woke corporation, documenting how many of my favorite companies embrace values antithetical to my own.

00:24:13.000 But it's increasingly clear that the sharp increase in corporate virtue signaling after George Floyd's death wasn't a passing trend, but a sea change.

00:24:18.000 Perhaps it's time for conservatives to boycott companies that hate us.

00:24:22.000 Yes, this is correct.

00:24:23.000 It's time for companies to form on the right in direct opposition to this stuff.

00:24:27.000 We're going to be doing that at Daily Wire.

00:24:28.000 I promise you it's coming.

00:24:30.000 We are going to be forming companies that are specifically designated in order to take on the woke culture in corporate America.

00:24:36.000 And you should do the same.

00:24:38.000 If this is the country that the left wants, this is the country they're going to get.

00:24:41.000 They're going to get a backlash in Georgia electorally, and in the culture sphere, People on the conservative side of the aisle are gonna start businesses that do not cater to the woke, that decide they're gonna cater to everybody, and they're gonna just tell the woke to shove it, because here's the dirty little secret.

00:24:53.000 The woke don't have that much power. 0.99

00:24:55.000 The media are a paper tiger. 0.98

00:24:56.000 The media yelling at you, and saying how they're gonna boycott you, and they're gonna be mean to you, no one gives a crap. 0.99

00:25:02.000 No one gives a crap. 0.99

00:25:04.000 The dirty secret of the media is that they are a mirage. 0.99

00:25:07.000 The media have a perception of power because they can drive narrative.

00:25:10.000 But, not enough people pay attention to the narrative to actually make a difference.

00:25:14.000 It's just these corporate leaders are so online, they're so on Twitter, that they're afraid of seven people on Twitter.

00:25:19.000 We know this, for example, because Harry's Razors decided to cancel advertising with some of the shows on Daily Wire because one of the Daily Wire hosts made the crazy statement that a man is a man and a woman is a woman, and you're not allowed to say that.

00:25:31.000 So Harry's Razor was like, this doesn't agree with our values.

00:25:33.000 OK, well, you know, fine.

00:25:35.000 Fine.

00:25:36.000 You don't like us.

00:25:36.000 You don't like our listeners.

00:25:37.000 That's fine, Harry's Razors. 1.00

00:25:39.000 We'll just launch a different brand of razors and our people can go to us. 0.70

00:25:42.000 Because guess what?

00:25:43.000 Two can play at this game.

00:25:45.000 I've said for a long time, I don't like boycott tactics.

00:25:47.000 I'm not a fan of them.

00:25:48.000 But there's only one thing worse than boycott tactics, and that is letting the other side use them and then being victimized by them.

00:25:56.000 There's only one thing worse than having nuclear weapons, and that is the other guy having nuclear weapons and you being completely disarmed.

00:26:02.000 The right is not going to stand for this any longer, nor should they.

00:26:05.000 The blowback is coming, and it's going to come very strongly.

00:26:07.000 And the more the media just let it out of the closet exactly what they are, the more the blowback is coming.

00:26:11.000 And it's going to come against the media, too.

00:26:13.000 There's a reason that right-wing media are growing.

00:26:15.000 And we will continue to grow here at Daily Wire, because people don't want to get their news from a bunch of partisan hacks who won't announce that they are even partisan.

00:26:23.000 We here at the Daily Wire acknowledge we're conservative.

00:26:25.000 I've told you.

00:26:27.000 I've told you, go listen to Pod Save America, go listen to my show, and then, where we agree on the fact pattern, that's the fact, everything else is opinion.

00:26:35.000 And nobody on the left will do that, because they are liars, because they lie about their own agenda.

00:26:38.000 It's not just they lie about the facts, they lie about their own agenda.

00:26:41.000 I don't lie about my agenda, you know my agenda, the moment you set foot in the hearing range of this show.

00:26:47.000 But the media just lied to you, and they lie consistently, and they lie with narrative.

00:26:51.000 It's happening over and over and over.

00:26:53.000 Another example.

00:26:54.000 So, over the weekend, There was a rather major story, but it's not a major story because here's the way it works when it comes to crime stories. 0.85

00:27:01.000 If there is a crime story that backs the media narrative that America is systemically racist and evil and filled with white supremacist right-wingers, then that's a national story.

00:27:10.000 If a person who is not moving along with that narrative commits a murder in a high-profile fashion, that's not a national news story.

00:27:17.000 That's a local news story. 0.93

00:27:19.000 So, if a white person kills a black person on the street, that's a national story because it underscores the idea that America is evil and systemically racist and how could we be such a terrible country? 0.96

00:27:27.000 If a black person kills a white person on the street, which in terms of statistical probability is actually more likely to happen, that's not a national story, that's a local news story. 0.97

00:27:34.000 Okay, if you... Perfect example over the weekend. 0.94

00:27:39.000 It turns out that there was an attack on the U.S.

00:27:41.000 Capitol Police.

00:27:43.000 A member of U.S.

00:27:43.000 Capitol Police was killed by a person who drove a car into two U.S.

00:27:48.000 Capitol Police officers, then got out of his vehicle with a knife, and then he was shot by the police.

00:27:53.000 The immediate response by the media, by many of the media, was this has to be some sort of white supremacist, right?

00:27:58.000 This has to be a QAnon guy or something.

00:28:00.000 Well, it turns out not.

00:28:02.000 It turns out that the attacker was a 25-year-old black man who was a follower of Louis Farrakhan's Nation of Islam.

00:28:10.000 This person's Facebook page describes himself as a follower of Farrakhan, in which he said that Farrakhan was Jesus, he said that he was his spiritual father, and he called himself Noah X. Many Twitter accounts initially rushed to assume the attack was carried out by a white supporter of former President Trump, But the minute that it turned out that this was a Louis Farrakhan supporter, boom, it was gone from the media.

00:28:32.000 You haven't heard about it at all.

00:28:33.000 You haven't heard about it at all.

00:28:35.000 Just as many police officers were killed this week at the U.S.

00:28:39.000 Capitol as were killed on January 6th.

00:28:42.000 There was one police officer, we still don't know how he died, we don't know if he was murdered at the Capitol, but Officer Brian Sicknick died, maybe presumably, I mean, again, the facts are still coming out during the January 6th attacks.

00:28:53.000 A US Capitol Police officer was just murdered over the weekend. It is not a national news story because of the identity of the perpetrator. The media have decided it's not a national news story because they are partisan hacks.

00:29:04.000 Because all they care about is the Democrat-leaning narrative.

00:29:07.000 And let me just tell you this.

00:29:09.000 If that had been a Donald Trump supporter, every Republican in America would have been asked about how your vote for Donald Trump effectuated this kind of thing.

00:29:16.000 But this person was a follower of Louis Farrakhan.

00:29:18.000 Will a single Democrat who's met with Louis Farrakhan be asked about this? 0.97

00:29:21.000 Will a single Democrat who's made nice with Louis Farrakhan, I'm talking about Representative Hank Johnson, I'm talking about Rashida Tlaib, I'm talking about Ilhan Omar, I'm talking about all the Democratic members, No, don't be silly. 0.99

00:29:42.000 Don't be silly. 0.98

00:29:43.000 Because that, of course, is a local news story. 0.98

00:29:46.000 In a second, we're gonna get to the biggest media botchery of the day.

00:29:48.000 I mean, it's just, the media are, they are out, and they are proud, and they are living life to the fullest.

00:29:53.000 The backlash is gonna be extraordinary, and I cannot wait for it.

00:29:55.000 I am here for it.

00:29:57.000 That's the biggest media botchery of the day.

00:29:59.000 It is purposeful botchery.

00:30:01.000 It is, frankly, defamation.

00:30:03.000 And if they weren't targeting the public figure, they'd find themselves in court.

00:31:23.000 It is purposeful, malicious media botchery.

00:31:25.000 We'll get to that in just one second.

00:31:26.000 First, as we return from Easter and Passover, it's important to reflect on the impact these holidays have on our faith, the impact that Judeo-Christian values have on our culture.

00:31:34.000 More and more, the left wants to erase those values, replace them with their own pseudo-morality.

00:31:38.000 One of the reasons we've launched a brand new talk show with Candace Owens, one of the fiercest protectors of conservative values and free speech, go behind the headlines in Twitter fights, see Candace as herself funny, Political, insightful, you're going to love her show. 0.98

00:32:21.000 If you like what you hear, you're listening to the largest, fastest growing conservative podcast and radio show in the nation.

00:32:25.000 Alrighty, so let's talk about the worst media bottery of the day, and it is not a mistake.

00:32:34.000 This is not just them being bad at journalism.

00:32:36.000 It is that they are hacks.

00:32:38.000 They are partisan hacks with an agenda.

00:32:40.000 This is deliberate.

00:32:41.000 These are propagandists.

00:32:42.000 60 Minutes ran a propaganda piece about Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

00:32:45.000 Now, DeSantis has been the target of the media ever since the beginning of the pandemic, because DeSantis took a different strategy than California and New York, and he showed them up.

00:32:52.000 He made them look really bad.

00:32:53.000 It turns out that DeSantis ran this state beautifully, the state that I am in. 0.99

00:32:56.000 Well, New York and California ran their states like garbage. 0.98

00:33:00.000 Andrew Cuomo shipped COVID-positive patients back into nursing homes. 0.99

00:33:02.000 He killed thousands of them and covered it up.

00:33:05.000 In California, they shut down the entire state for a full year and ended up with the same deaths per million ratio as Florida, despite the fact that California has one of the youngest populations in America and Florida has the oldest population in America outside of Maine.

00:33:16.000 But the media hate DeSantis because DeSantis didn't listen to their pathetic lies about COVID and how to treat COVID and all the rest of it.

00:33:24.000 DeSantis knew COVID was a threat.

00:33:26.000 He knew it was a threat that mostly centered on elderly people.

00:33:28.000 And so he protected the elderly and he told everybody else to go out and use risk assessment and wear masks when they felt that they were at risk and then live their lives. 0.85

00:33:36.000 He didn't destroy the economy.

00:33:37.000 He didn't prevent people from living their lives.

00:33:39.000 He didn't kill all the restaurants.

00:33:40.000 He didn't prevent people from eating outdoors the way they did in California.

00:33:43.000 DeSantis handled it right.

00:33:44.000 Cuomo and Newsom handled it wrong.

00:33:46.000 The media like Cuomo and they like Newsom. 0.99

00:33:48.000 So, since the beginning of the pandemic, they've been covering every idiotic story out of Florida and then never doing follow-up to show that they were wrong. 1.00

00:33:55.000 So they'll have some moron lawyer walking around the beaches of Jacksonville dressed up as the Grim Reaper. 1.00

00:34:00.000 And saying like, wow, look at this guy. 0.99

00:34:02.000 He's shaming Ron DeSantis.

00:34:03.000 They'll never follow up to point out that no one actually got COVID on the Jacksonville beach.

00:34:07.000 They'll have story after story about how, look at Ron DeSantis in Tampa.

00:34:10.000 I mean, they had the Superbowl there.

00:34:11.000 Surely there will be a massive outbreak.

00:34:13.000 No massive outbreak, no follow-up.

00:34:14.000 Okay, well now, they're trying to suggest that DeSantis is corrupt.

00:34:18.000 So, a couple of weeks ago, they just put, like last week, they put out a story in the media that was a lie, that DeSantis was covering up deaths.

00:34:24.000 And it turns out that the person who authored the study they were drawing from said that the media were lying about it.

00:34:30.000 It's okay.

00:34:31.000 They've promoted the idea of hashtag DeathSantis.

00:34:33.000 It doesn't matter.

00:34:34.000 All that matters is the narrative.

00:34:35.000 It doesn't matter that the excess death numbers that were being used in Flora were the same as the excess death numbers everywhere else.

00:34:41.000 It doesn't matter.

00:34:42.000 DeSantis is the bad guy. 0.97

00:34:43.000 So 60 Minutes tried to generate a headline last night with a story that is just complete bullcrap.

00:34:49.000 It's just not true.

00:34:50.000 And of course, Drudge Report, which has basically just become the Huffington Post.

00:34:53.000 You may have noticed this.

00:34:54.000 It's pretty incredible, right?

00:34:55.000 Drudge, who used to be a fairly conservative-slash-libertarian voice, his headlines are now indistinguishable from Huffington Post.

00:35:03.000 Indistinguishable.

00:35:03.000 The headline over at Drudge right now is DeSantis accused of pay for play in Vax rollout.

00:35:08.000 Grocery chain gave PAC $100,000.

00:35:10.000 Okay, so here is what their supposed story is at 60 Minutes.

00:35:14.000 Their supposed story is that Ron DeSantis allowed Publix to hand out the vaccine, the grocery chain, Publix, to hand out the vaccine because they gave him $100,000 in his super PAC.

00:35:23.000 Okay, there's only one problem with the story.

00:35:26.000 It's not true.

00:35:27.000 It's not true.

00:35:28.000 That's not why he allowed Publix to do it.

00:35:31.000 He didn't... CVS and Walgreens had the vaccine.

00:35:34.000 I know, I was here.

00:35:35.000 CVS and Walgreens had the vaccine first.

00:35:38.000 They were insufficient at pushing out the vaccine.

00:35:40.000 So local officials said, why not give it to Publix?

00:35:43.000 There are 800 Publix around the state of Florida.

00:35:45.000 What if Publix were able to do it?

00:35:47.000 And it sounds like, hey, that's a good idea.

00:35:48.000 Let's do it.

00:35:50.000 Publix gives money to politicians on both sides of the aisle.

00:35:52.000 It's a grocery chain.

00:35:54.000 You think Ron DeSantis was corruptly using Publix to accelerate the rollout?

00:35:59.000 What was he supposed to do?

00:36:00.000 Not accelerate the rollout of the vaccine in the oldest state in America?

00:36:05.000 Okay, so it's not just that 60 Minutes botches the story.

00:36:07.000 By the way, Democratic officials say that they botched the story.

00:36:11.000 Democratic state officials said it's false and offensive.

00:36:14.000 According to Daily Wire, the segment featured reporter Sharon Alfonsi ambushing DeSantis at a press conference last month, aggressively questioning him using a misleading narrative about the way he has responded to the COVID pandemic.

00:36:25.000 Alfonsi tried to suggest that Publix, the largest grocery store chain in Florida, had engaged in pay-to-play by donating money to DeSantis' campaign in exchange for being awarded a contract to distribute vaccines in the state.

00:36:37.000 Publix put out a statement, they said, the irresponsible suggestion there is a connection between campaign contributions made to Governor DeSantis and our willingness to join other pharmacies in support of the state's vaccine distribution efforts is absolutely false and offensive.

00:36:49.000 We're proud of our pharmacy associates for administering more than 1.5 million doses of vaccine to date and for joining other retailers in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia to do our part to help communities emerge from the pandemic.

00:37:00.000 Former Florida State Representative Jared Moskowitz, a Democrat, slammed 60 Minutes, saying DeSantis' office did not push for selecting Publix.

00:37:08.000 Moskowitz is director of the Florida Division of Emergency Management and has overseen the state's response to the pandemic.

00:37:14.000 Sixty minutes.

00:37:15.000 He said, I said this before, I'll say it again.

00:37:16.000 Publix was recommended by the Florida Division of Emergency Management and the Florida Department of Health as the other pharmacies were not ready to start.

00:37:24.000 Full stop.

00:37:24.000 Period.

00:37:25.000 No one from the governor's office suggested Publix.

00:37:27.000 It's just absolute malarkey.

00:37:29.000 This is a Democratic official.

00:37:31.000 It's a Democratic official.

00:37:32.000 Okay, so what did 60 Minutes do in order to generate this fake narrative?

00:37:36.000 So there's this exchange about a month ago between Sharon Alfonsi and Ron DeSantis.

00:37:40.000 Here is how 60 Minutes cut the exchange.

00:37:42.000 I'm going to show you how they cut the exchange.

00:37:42.000 Okay, here's it.

00:37:44.000 Then I'm going to show you the full exchange.

00:37:46.000 They cut out the part where DeSantis explained why she was lying and wrong.

00:37:49.000 They just cut it out completely to make it look like he was just being randomly combative.

00:37:54.000 So here's the fake exchange from 60 Minutes, the selectively edited exchange.

00:37:57.000 Then I'm going to play the full exchange.

00:37:58.000 Here's the selectively edited one.

00:38:01.000 I met with the county mayor.

00:38:02.000 I met with the administrator.

00:38:03.000 I met with all the folks at Palm Beach County and I said, here's some of the options.

00:38:07.000 We can do more drive-thru sites.

00:38:09.000 We can give more to hospitals.

00:38:11.000 We can do the Publix.

00:38:12.000 And they said, we think that would be the easiest thing for our residents.

00:38:15.000 But Melissa McKinlay, the county commissioner in the Glades, told us the governor never met with her about the Publix deal.

00:38:23.000 The criticism is that it's pay to play, Governor.

00:38:25.000 It's wrong.

00:38:26.000 It's a fake narrative.

00:38:27.000 I just disabused you of the narrative and you don't care about the facts.

00:38:31.000 Okay, and so everybody was like, oh, look at that combative Ron DeSantis.

00:38:34.000 Look at him.

00:38:35.000 All the experts from the Lincoln Project, when they were not busy covering up for people who were abusing male staffers, they were like, look at the experts.

00:38:43.000 Look at Ron DeSantis. 0.99

00:38:44.000 What a combative, he is a liar. 0.98

00:38:46.000 Okay, here's the full exchange because we have tape of it. 0.99

00:38:49.000 Here's the full exchange.

00:38:51.000 60 minutes sliced out the entire explanation by DeSantis of why Sharon Alfonsi is just lying and wrong. 0.99

00:38:57.000 They just cut it out because he made her look like a fool. 0.99

00:38:59.000 Here was the entire exchange. 0.98

00:39:02.000 First of all, when we did the the first pharmacies that had it were CVS and Walgreens, and they had a long-term care mission.

00:39:08.000 So they were going to the long-term care facilities.

00:39:11.000 They got vaccine in the middle of December.

00:39:14.000 They started going to the long-term care facilities the third week of December to do LTCs.

00:39:19.000 So that was their mission.

00:39:20.000 That was very important, and we trusted them to do that.

00:39:24.000 As we got into January, we wanted to expand the distribution points.

00:39:28.000 So yes, you had the counties, you had some drive-through sites, you had hospitals that were doing a lot.

00:39:33.000 But we wanted to get it into communities more.

00:39:35.000 So we reached out to other retail pharmacies, Publix, Walmart.

00:39:39.000 Obviously, CVS and Walgreens had to finish that mission.

00:39:42.000 And we said, we're going to use you as soon as you're done with that.

00:39:45.000 For the Publix, they were the first one to raise their hand and say they were ready to go.

00:39:49.000 Okay.

00:39:50.000 And he does this full explanation.

00:39:52.000 He says, he says, they calculated 90% of their seniors live within a mile and a half of a Publix.

00:39:56.000 They said, we think that would be the easiest thing for our residents.

00:39:59.000 So we did that.

00:39:59.000 And what ended up happening was he had 65 Publix in Palm Beach.

00:40:02.000 Palm Beach is one of the biggest counties, one of the most elderly counties.

00:40:05.000 We've done almost 75% of the seniors in Palm Beach.

00:40:07.000 And the reason is because you have a strong retail footprint.

00:40:09.000 So our way has been multifaceted.

00:40:11.000 It has worked.

00:40:11.000 And we're also now very much expanding CVS and Walgreens now that they've completed that long-term care mission.

00:40:17.000 Okay, that was his full explanation.

00:40:19.000 She just cut all of it out.

00:40:20.000 Just cut all of it out to make it look like he was not telling the truth.

00:40:23.000 His own officials, right, Democrats are saying that he's telling the truth and 60 Minutes is lying.

00:40:28.000 She should be fired for this. 0.70

00:40:29.000 She should lose her job.

00:40:30.000 This selective editing is a hit piece.

00:40:33.000 It is a hit piece from 60 Minutes.

00:40:35.000 And it's being now laundered into the public press.

00:40:38.000 It's being laundered by the media.

00:40:40.000 So here's how Axios covers this.

00:40:41.000 Quote, Florida governor clashes with 60 Minutes over COVID vaccine rollout.

00:40:45.000 Oh, it's just a clash.

00:40:46.000 It's just a clash.

00:40:47.000 Why it matters.

00:40:48.000 Okay, that was a lie as well.

00:40:49.000 The idea that DeSantis was just giving vaccines to the rich?

00:40:51.000 No!

00:40:51.000 He was putting it where the old people are.

00:40:53.000 The old people in Florida happen to be in the richer communities generally.

00:40:55.000 Okay, that was a lie as well.

00:40:57.000 The idea that DeSantis was just giving vaccines to the rich.

00:41:00.000 No, he was putting it where the old people are.

00:41:03.000 The old people in Florida happen to be in the richer communities generally. 0.98

00:41:06.000 That is ridiculous. 0.92

00:41:07.000 Of course he was giving the vaccines to the old. 0.98

00:41:09.000 The old were the ones dying of COVID.

00:41:10.000 What was he supposed to do?

00:41:11.000 Give it to people who were poor and young?

00:41:13.000 Made no sense at all.

00:41:14.000 They pushed that narrative.

00:41:15.000 So they've now tried several different narratives to try and nail DeSantis because they see DeSantis as a possible 2024 contender.

00:41:19.000 So they're trying to knock him out early.

00:41:21.000 First, they promoted the lying narrative that by having the state open at all, he was killing people.

00:41:25.000 It was not true.

00:41:26.000 Then they tried to promote the narrative that Ron DeSantis was in corrupt fashion, rolling out the vaccines only for his political rich allies.

00:41:32.000 Wrong.

00:41:33.000 He was rolling it out for the elderly.

00:41:35.000 Then, they tried to promote the narrative that Ron DeSantis was covering up the COVID numbers.

00:41:38.000 That was also a lie.

00:41:40.000 And finally, they are now promoting the narrative that Ron DeSantis, for $100,000 donations from Publix, decided that he was going to allow, you know, the largest grocery chain in Florida to hand out the vaccine.

00:41:50.000 And this is treated not only as legit news, but as driving the news.

00:41:54.000 Driving the news.

00:41:57.000 Hey, according to Axios, the 60 Minutes program highlighted reports of vaccine favoritism with Florida's poorer communities being left behind in the rollout.

00:42:03.000 There's no Publix in Belle Glade in Palm Beach County.

00:42:06.000 Oh, so they found a town where there's no Publix to suggest that now using the most, the most branched grocery in the state is a bad thing. 1.00

00:42:15.000 You know how stupid that is? 0.98

00:42:17.000 So you find the grocery that's the most common in the entire state. 1.00

00:42:19.000 And you say, you know what?

00:42:20.000 You guys should hand out the vaccine.

00:42:21.000 So what did 60 Minutes do?

00:42:22.000 They went to a community that doesn't have a branch.

00:42:24.000 And then they're like, you know what?

00:42:26.000 Because this community doesn't have a Publix, no Publix should have it!

00:42:29.000 The hell are you talking about?

00:42:31.000 State Democratic Representative Omari Hardy told the show you have lots of folks who don't have cars in the community.

00:42:36.000 It's a round trip of over two hours with 34 stops to the nearest Publix 25 miles away.

00:42:40.000 Publix isn't the only outlet handing this out.

00:42:42.000 CVS and Walgreens are also handing it out.

00:42:45.000 And there are state pop-ups giving out the vaccine.

00:42:48.000 And this is all, it's just wrong.

00:42:50.000 It's a lie.

00:42:52.000 It's just not true.

00:42:53.000 But it doesn't matter, because 60 Minutes drives the narrative. 0.92

00:42:56.000 Because the media are driving the narrative, and they're just absolute disgusting partisan hacks.

00:43:00.000 You should not trust them with an iota of your time, with an iota of your money.

00:43:04.000 You shouldn't trust any narrative they push.

00:43:06.000 They're out-of-the-closet propaganda on behalf of the Democratic Party, just trying to push Joe Biden to a second term on a gurney.

00:43:13.000 It's unreal.

00:43:14.000 And they'll do it any way they can.

00:43:16.000 Take, for example, the unbelievable coverage of Hunter Biden's new book.

00:43:19.000 So Hunter Biden has now put out a book. 0.99

00:43:21.000 Okay, his book is an attempt to cash in on the fact that he's a garbage human. 0.98

00:43:26.000 Okay, this has nothing to do with Joe. 0.99

00:43:28.000 Hunter's being a garbage human is not on Joe. 0.96

00:43:30.000 It's on Hunter. 1.00

00:43:31.000 Hunter's a garbage human by every specification. 1.00
