00:01:31.000 Puretalk.com, promo code SHAPIRO.
00:01:33.000 Alrighty, so the media's worst person is a woman named Taylor Lorenz.
00:01:38.000 Taylor Lorenz has been the worst person in media for quite a while.
00:01:41.000 Basically, she has a pattern.
00:01:42.000 Her pattern is to be incredibly offensive and target people, and then whine incessantly when she herself is targeted.
00:01:49.000 Which is pretty pathetic, yeah?
00:01:51.000 As somebody who receives his fair share of internet hatred, who trends on Twitter once every three weeks or so, who was the number one recipient of all online antisemitism in 2015-2016, I can safely say that Taylor Lorenz is a wimp.
00:02:04.000 And not only is she a wimp, she's an aggressive wimp, which is the worst kind of wimp.
00:02:08.000 She's the person who can throw a punch but can't take one.
00:02:10.000 And what's worse, the punches that she throws are always down.
00:02:13.000 You always hear from the left that you shouldn't punch down.
00:02:16.000 Don't pick somebody who is weaker than you are and go after them.
00:02:19.000 Don't find somebody who's anonymous and then try to dox them.
00:02:22.000 In fact, Taylor Lorenz herself She has said that she is very anti-doxing.
00:02:26.000 Doxing is the phenomenon where you find somebody anonymous and then you spill all the details of their personal life online in an attempt to destroy their lives.
00:02:32.000 And Taylor Lorenz is very anti-doxing because she herself has been doxed.
00:02:36.000 People have found her address and posted it online.
00:02:38.000 People have posted details about her life.
00:02:40.000 And so here she is, not all that long ago, complaining about doxing.
00:02:44.000 A bunch of people are asking if I'm going to write about the West Elm Caleb story.
00:02:47.000 No, I'm on book leave.
00:02:48.000 I can't keep writing pieces for the New York Times.
00:02:51.000 I literally do have a lot of deadlines.
00:02:53.000 But journalists who are writing about it, please speak to people with experience in online harassment.
00:02:59.000 I'm not gonna lie, I've been pretty horrified by a lot of the media coverage of this.
00:03:03.000 A lot of people are just aggregating some of the cruelest commentary online and whipping it all up into a news story with absolutely no comment from Caleb or Nuance about the situation.
00:03:12.000 The top story on Google yesterday was literally this House Beautiful story that doxes Caleb, puts his full name in the story, zero comment from this man.
00:03:20.000 After this whole article gleefully encourages this online harassment and doxing campaign, they literally use him to sell West Elm furniture through affiliate links.
00:03:30.000 Once again, commercializing a harassment and doxing campaign.
00:03:34.000 I think the media needs a total wake-up call on the way that they cover online harassment, and this is just the latest example of it.
00:03:39.000 She is a bag of hot garbage.
00:03:40.000 And reporters should be adding new ones.
00:03:41.000 She is a bag of hot garbage.
00:03:43.000 Everything that she says happens in that story is something she deliberately did in the Washington Post to a Twitter account called Libs of TikTok a couple of days ago.
00:03:51.000 There was an active link in that Washington Post article to the real estate license of the person whose account is Libs of TikTok, and that real estate license included a home address.
00:04:01.000 There's a link in the story to that.
00:04:03.000 That is a doxing attempt.
00:04:05.000 There are all sorts of details about this person's personal life.
00:04:08.000 She literally went to the doors of family members of this person and knocked on their doors.
00:04:14.000 This is who Taylor Lorenz is.
00:04:15.000 And then she complains about doxing.
00:04:18.000 And then she complains about being victimized and harassed.
00:04:21.000 You'll recall, because we played it literally yesterday, that Taylor Lawrence did a full story on MSNBC complaining and whining and weeping over the fact that she'd been targeted online so much, which is just, I'm sorry, it's pathetic.
00:04:33.000 It's pathetic.
00:04:34.000 And then, you know what happened?
00:04:35.000 After that segment, this is really funny, after that segment in which she herself went on camera voluntarily with a bunch of political allies who were extremely sympathetic to her complaints, that people were being mean to her and hurting her feel-feels, directly after that, she went on in the media and she whined that MSNBC had undercut her.
00:04:55.000 I kid you not.
00:04:56.000 This is from the New York Post.
00:04:58.000 This is early April.
00:05:00.000 This is like a couple of weeks ago.
00:05:02.000 Quote, Washington Post tech columnist Taylor Lorenz slammed MSNBC's handling of a segment in which she detailed her experiences contending with online harassment, claiming the network botched the report so badly that it made the problem worse.
00:05:14.000 In a segment airing last Friday on MSNBC's Meet the Press Daily, Lorenz revealed that online harassment targeting her and her family caused her to experience severe PTSD and contemplate suicide in the recent past.
00:05:24.000 The MSNBC coverage aimed to detail brutal harassment faced by female journalists, but Lorenz said she has faced even worse treatment since the segment went live.
00:05:33.000 She tweeted, quote, So in other words, you are so solipsistic and narcissistic, you spend all day looking into your own emotions, that when you go on camera and somebody gives you the opportunity to whine about your emotions, and you do, and then people mock you for it because it's mockable and you're a ridiculous person, then you go in the media and you rip the people who gave you the platform to whine about your life.
00:06:02.000 And this is just pure Taylor Lauren.
00:06:03.000 She's been doing this for years.
00:06:05.000 She's been targeting basically anonymous people, people who didn't deserve the wrath of the New York Times, where she used to work, or the Washington Post, where she now works.
00:06:13.000 She's been doing this for years as a career.
00:06:16.000 And then, by the way, crapping all over the New York Times, which stuck by her despite the fact that she is a garbage reporter who has spent her entire career basically highlighting videos from 16-year-olds.
00:06:27.000 Taylor Lorenz is alternatively the 37 or 43.
00:06:30.000 Unclear what her age is because she said on Twitter she's 43.
00:06:33.000 According to the wikis, she's 37.
00:06:36.000 But she has spent her entire career basically just complaining that everybody around her is the problem.
00:06:41.000 When you complain that everybody around you is the problem, usually you are the problem.
00:06:45.000 By the way, when she left the New York Times, she then promptly did a long interview with Vanity Fair in which she was the hero of the story.
00:06:53.000 She complained, quote, I think people do not understand my beat.
00:06:55.000 They don't take it seriously.
00:06:57.000 She said this in an interview with Vanity Fair, reflecting on the coverage area that's made her, at least in a certain generation, the must-read staffer at the Times.
00:07:04.000 The reporter, who will join the Post as a columnist on the feature staff, said that in her role at the Times, she felt like she had to prove to people through her reporting that stories about the creator economy and emerging platforms were worth covering.
00:07:15.000 There's not room for the commentary aspect, she said of her current gig, but at The Post, she hopes to take her beat and blow it up bigger.
00:07:21.000 One thing you definitely don't want is Taylor Lorenz showing up at your door being a weird creeper, because that's what she does.
00:07:26.000 One thing that can let you know if she is at your door is, of course, Ring.
00:07:29.000 So, for years, I've been telling you about Ring, and it allows you to know what's going on on your property at all times, including if garbage Washington Post reporters show up at your door for no apparent reason.
00:07:37.000 Ring Alarm is even better.
00:07:39.000 It's an award-winning home security system with available professional monitoring when you subscribe.
00:07:42.000 Best of all, you can easily install it yourself.
00:07:44.000 That's why I've teamed up with Ring.
00:07:46.000 You've probably even heard me talk about how I use Ring Alarm to protect my home.
00:07:49.000 Well, now I've gone pro with Ring Alarm Pro.
00:07:51.000 Ring Alarm Pro is a next-level security system.
00:07:53.000 CNET calls Ring Alarm Pro a giant leap for home security after using it.
00:07:57.000 I think they are totally right.
00:07:58.000 Ring Alarm Pro helps protect my entire home and the Wi-Fi it runs on.
00:08:01.000 With Ring Alarm Pro, Ring combined a home security system and a Wi-Fi router.
00:08:05.000 So, this thing helps protect your home and your network.
00:08:07.000 Now, I have a secure network with a crazy strong signal for all the devices across my home.
00:08:11.000 If you're anything like me, that is a lot of devices.
00:08:13.000 Now, when I'm out or traveling, I know everything at home is protected and connected and that it will stay that way.
00:08:18.000 With a Ring Protect Pro subscription, which is an amazing deal, by the way, I get professional monitoring for the ultimate peace of mind.
00:08:23.000 If anything happens, professional monitoring will call and can request emergency services.
00:08:27.000 I've been using Ring myself for years to protect my family.
00:08:29.000 You should do the same.
00:08:30.000 Ring has that award-winning alarm.
00:08:31.000 That's why I've teamed up with Ring and I've gone pro with that Ring Alarm Pro.
00:08:34.000 You should do it too.
00:08:35.000 Go to ring.com forward slash Ben.
00:08:38.000 Again, that's ring.com forward slash Ben to get started and go pro with that Ring Alarm Pro today.
00:08:43.000 Ring.com forward slash Ben.
00:08:45.000 So, the way that she decided to blow it up bigger is by doing a large story for the Washington Post, trying to unmask the most evil account on Twitter, which happens to be an account run by an Orthodox Jewish woman.
00:08:58.000 It is called Libs of TikTok.
00:09:00.000 The Libs of TikTok account, for those who have not seen it, is one of the better accounts on Twitter.
00:09:04.000 The reason it is one of the better accounts on Twitter is the entire Twitter account is just clips of Libs on TikTok and on Twitter.
00:09:10.000 The entire account is people who publicly post Their own stupidity on TikTok, talking about how they have come out as gender-fluid pansexuals to seven-year-old kids.
00:09:10.000 That's it.
00:09:21.000 And then, Libs of TikTok will take that clip and put it on Twitter.
00:09:23.000 That's the entire thing.
00:09:26.000 So, people put their stuff up publicly, and Libs of TikTok notices.
00:09:30.000 That's all they do.
00:09:30.000 That's what they do.
00:09:31.000 It just notices.
00:09:32.000 That account notices things.
00:09:33.000 So it notices that Brooklyn's liberal dad will post something about how Trump is evil and Hitlerian two years ago, Because he does X. And then Biden does X today, and then the same account celebrates it.
00:09:49.000 And Libs of TikTok has been kicked off of Twitter for this great sin.
00:09:52.000 Again, the only thing the account does, this is the amazing thing, all the account does is just puts a spotlight on things that people themselves are saying.
00:09:58.000 That's it.
00:09:58.000 That's all it does.
00:10:00.000 And so people like me in the media follow Libs of TikTok because it brings to light a bunch of TikTok videos I am not going to spend the time going through.
00:10:08.000 I follow a lot of people on Twitter.
00:10:10.000 I follow probably 250, 300 people on Twitter.
00:10:14.000 But Libs of TikTok is one of the more productive accounts because again, they just let the left speak in their own words.
00:10:19.000 And this is what drives the ire.
00:10:21.000 This is what drives the rage.
00:10:23.000 Libs of TikTok must be unmasked.
00:10:26.000 Now, at no point does Taylor Lorenz or anyone at the Washington Post think, you know, perhaps the reason we should examine why Libs of TikTok is popular is because it has an outsized influence in that the left is so off the rails That it's very easy to find multiple TikTok videos a day demonstrating how crazy they are.
00:10:45.000 Instead it is, who is this evil person who's noticing?
00:10:48.000 And this really goes to a couple of major points about the legacy media.
00:10:52.000 One, the problem is you.
00:10:54.000 The problem is never them, the problem is you.
00:10:56.000 They do something radical, the left does something radical, you notice, you're the problem.
00:11:01.000 That's all libs of TikTok, Doug.
00:11:02.000 It just notices.
00:11:03.000 That's all.
00:11:04.000 So libs of TikTok is bad.
00:11:06.000 Because you noticed.
00:11:07.000 Right?
00:11:08.000 If we notice that Latoya Rabinow over at Disney says that there is a not-at-all-secret gay agenda in children's programming at Disney, the problem is not her saying that, or Disney putting that on an all-hands call, or Disney mainlining a bunch of leftism into their programming.
00:11:08.000 We are all bad.
00:11:24.000 The problem is you noticed.
00:11:24.000 None of that's the problem.
00:11:27.000 When Joe Biden Is being steered out of the way of reporters by an Easter Bunny.
00:11:32.000 The problem is not that we have a senile president being steered out of the way by a fictional character.
00:11:37.000 That's not the problem.
00:11:38.000 The problem is you noticed.
00:11:40.000 Until Libs of TikTok noticed.
00:11:42.000 Problem number two is that when it comes to the legacy media, Anyone who opposes their agenda must be unmasked and their life must be torn apart.
00:11:42.000 That's problem number one.
00:11:50.000 And this is nothing new.
00:11:51.000 And this goes all the way back to Joe the Plumber, Joe Wurzelbacher, over in Ohio circa 2008.
00:11:57.000 You'll recall that Barack Obama was walking around his neighborhood in Ohio and Joe Wurzelbacher started asking him about tax policy.
00:12:03.000 And this meant that Joe, Plumber Joe, was a bad man.
00:12:06.000 He was a very bad man.
00:12:08.000 And so we had to uncover all of his real estate liens.
00:12:11.000 We had to go through his business history.
00:12:13.000 We had to go through his personal life.
00:12:14.000 We had to unmask everything about him.
00:12:16.000 It was deeply important we know who he was.
00:12:18.000 Barack Obama never had to answer the question.
00:12:19.000 The problem was that Joe Wurzelbacher noticed, and so we need to know who Joe Wurzelbacher is.
00:12:24.000 It's the exact same thing here at the Washington Post.
00:12:26.000 So this is a very, very long piece about the evils of Libs of TikTok.
00:12:31.000 Quote, on March 8th, a Twitter account called Libs of TikTok posted a video of a woman teaching sex education to children in Kentucky, calling the woman in the video a predator.
00:12:39.000 The next evening, the same clip was featured on Laura Ingraham's Fox News program, prompting the host to ask, when did our schools, any schools, become what are essentially grooming centers for gender identity radicals?
00:12:50.000 Now, notice one thing that Taylor Lorenz doesn't do at the top.
00:12:54.000 Quote, what this woman actually did.
00:12:57.000 Right, what this educator actually did.
00:12:59.000 She runs a quote, sexy summer camp for children in Kentucky, and says in the video, she believes that it is good for toddlers to masturbate.
00:13:07.000 So here is how Taylor Lorenz characterizes that.
00:13:11.000 Does that sound like an accurate depiction of that video to you?
00:13:17.000 Because Taylor Lorenz is garbage and her reporting is a steaming heaping pile of horse dung.
00:13:24.000 But she continues along these lines.
00:13:25.000 Can you believe that someone on Twitter would post framing?
00:13:25.000 Oh my god.
00:13:28.000 That they would frame stories?
00:13:29.000 You know, maybe like Taylor Lorenz is framing this story right now.
00:13:33.000 command signal, option signal, tilde, people, often including incendiary framing designed to generate outrage.
00:13:39.000 Oh my God.
00:13:39.000 No.
00:13:40.000 Can you believe that someone on Twitter would post framing?
00:13:43.000 That they would frame stories?
00:13:45.000 You know, maybe like Taylor Lorenz is framing this story right now.
00:13:47.000 Can you imagine such a thing?
00:13:49.000 Videos shared from the account quickly find their way to the most influential names in right-wing media.
00:13:53.000 That's true, I retweet this account a lot.
00:13:55.000 The account has emerged as a powerful force on the internet, shaping right-wing media, impacting anti-LGBTQ plus IA minus divided by sign, percentage sign, legislation, and influencing millions by posting viral videos aimed at inciting outrage among the right.
00:14:08.000 The anonymous account's impact is deep and far-reaching.
00:14:12.000 Its content is amplified by high-profile media figures, politicians, right-wing influencers.
00:14:15.000 Yeah, you already said that.
00:14:18.000 Libs of TikTok is basically acting as a wire service for the broader right-wing media ecosystem, said Ari Drennan, LGBTQ program director for Media Matters.
00:14:26.000 So Taylor Lorenz is angry at Libs of TikTok on the basis of Media Matters, a wild left organization whose only goal in life is to just destroy anyone who opposes the left politically.
00:14:37.000 They generate non-grassroots, astroturfed boycotts.
00:14:41.000 They spend all day, Media Matters, hiring people to just watch shows like this one and then clip things out of context?
00:14:46.000 That's all they do, all day long?
00:14:48.000 Well, the media might target you any day now for having the wrong political views.
00:14:51.000 You have enough worries in life.
00:14:53.000 One of your biggest worries is that mortgage.
00:14:54.000 Why not get that mortgage rate lowered?
00:14:56.000 So here is the thing.
00:14:56.000 All the interest rates are rising right now.
00:14:58.000 Mortgage rates are rising as well.
00:15:00.000 So if you're waiting around thinking you're going to get a better mortgage rate anytime in the near future, you are thinking the wrong way.
00:15:05.000 This is why you should be contacting my friends over at American Financing today.

00:15:38.000 minimalistconsumeraccess.org.
00:15:40.000 Again, that's americanfinancing.net or give them a call at 866-721-3300.
00:15:45.000 You can't afford not to at least take a look and find out whether you could save money on that mortgage.
00:15:49.000 Head on over to americanfinancing.net to get started today.
00:15:53.000 Once again, that is americanfinancing.net.
00:15:56.000 By the way, the sources Taylor Lorenz cites in this piece, she cites Media Matters, I believe, twice.
00:16:01.000 She cites somebody from the ACLU, right?
00:16:05.000 She just finds a bunch of left-wing sources to talk about how evil this account is.
00:16:10.000 The role I've seen this account playing is finding new characters for right-wing propaganda, said Jillian Brandstetter, a media strategist for the ACLU.
00:16:16.000 It's relying on the endless stream of content from TikTok and the internet to cast any individual trans person as a new villain in their story.
00:16:22.000 How dare libs of TikTok take your publicly viewed video and make it more public?
00:16:27.000 But you might ask, when you post things on TikTok, aren't you seeking attention?
00:16:30.000 Yes, but this is the wrong kind of attention.
00:16:32.000 The only type of attention that will be allowed here is the echo chamber that celebrates your stupid identification as a transsexual polymorphous kitten.
00:16:42.000 If you don't celebrate that, if you don't have an account that's talking about how great this is, if you're just libs of TikTok posting and then saying, this looks kind of crazy, then that means that you are very, very bad.
00:16:51.000 So, who is this person?
00:16:53.000 Her name is Chaya Raychik.
00:16:55.000 She's been working as a real estate salesperson in Brooklyn, when in early November 2020, she created the account that would eventually become Libs of TikTok.
00:17:02.000 Under her first handle, she minimized COVID.
00:17:08.000 My God.
00:17:09.000 By the way, what is the evidence she minimized COVID?
00:17:11.000 She tweeted, quote, why I love COVID.
00:17:13.000 Stays away till 10pm so we can go about our lives during the day.
00:17:15.000 This is because she's talking about the curfews.
00:17:17.000 Doesn't infect Santas, because Santas weren't forced to mask up.
00:17:20.000 Doesn't spread if you're rioting or looting.
00:17:22.000 Doesn't show up to BLM protests.
00:17:23.000 Immunized Gavin Newsom with magic.
00:17:26.000 That is not minimizing COVID, you moron!
00:17:28.000 That is her specifically saying that you guys minimize COVID when it is convenient to you.
00:17:34.000 It says she cast doubt on the election results.
00:17:35.000 She must be some sort of election truther, right?
00:17:40.000 That's what we're being told.
00:17:42.000 Oh my god, what did she do?
00:17:43.000 She retweeted a tweet from Doug Collins one time.
00:17:49.000 Unbelievable.
00:17:50.000 Retweeted a Doug Collins tweet.
00:17:52.000 Casting doubt on the election.
00:17:53.000 Just shocking, shocking stuff.
00:17:56.000 Incredible.
00:17:56.000 By the way, you know what that tweet was?
00:17:59.000 An additional 2,700 votes were discovered in Fayette County.
00:18:01.000 Care to comment, GA Secretary of State?
00:18:03.000 Wow, brutal election denial.
00:18:07.000 On November 23rd, 2020, Raychick changed handles, this time going by Shia Ray, identifying herself publicly as a real estate investor in Brooklyn.
00:18:14.000 She began doubling down on election fraud conspiracies using QAnon-related language.
00:18:20.000 What is this QAnon related language?
00:18:22.000 I mean, this is just Taylor Lorenz being one of the, I mean, she's the world's worst journalism, world's worst journalism-ing person.
00:18:28.000 Okay, so what exactly did she tweet that was so bad?
00:18:31.000 Here's what she tweeted.
00:18:32.000 Eric Trump had tweeted, quote, Biden lost 212 more counties than Obama did in 2012, yet Biden magically gained 13 million more votes than Obama, please, hashtag rigged election.
00:18:42.000 And she tweeted, America doesn't buy it, hashtag rigged election, hashtag MAGA.
00:18:46.000 How is that QAnon related language, exactly?
00:18:49.000 If you use the word rigged, this is now QAnon?
00:18:52.000 And then, she joked about launching a clothing line titled, Voter Fraud is Real.
00:18:56.000 Brutal!
00:18:57.000 Terrible!
00:18:58.000 Horrifying!
00:19:00.000 So, Raychick is super bad.
00:19:01.000 And then, she railed against Governor Andrew Cuomo, calling for him to resign.
00:19:06.000 Wow, I mean, wait, didn't he resign?
00:19:09.000 She promoted the efforts to recall Gavin Newsom.
00:19:11.000 I mean, didn't he get voted on in a recall?
00:19:14.000 She began posting about Governor Ron DeSantis calling him actually brilliant.
00:19:19.000 Then she created a parody account titled Houseplant POTUS, pretending to tweet as if she was a houseplant living with President Biden.
00:19:26.000 By the way, I'm gonna take credit for that one.
00:19:28.000 I've been calling him President Houseplant since he took office.
00:19:30.000 So Chaya definitely 100% listened to the show and then started the account Houseplant POTUS, which is really funny.
00:19:37.000 She revamped her avatar to look like a small shrub with Biden's face on the lease.
00:19:40.000 The vicious stuff.
00:19:40.000 Brutal.
00:19:41.000 Just vicious.
00:19:43.000 At that point in time, she also claimed to be proudly Orthodox Jewish, live in Brooklyn, and work in real estate in her Twitter bio.
00:19:48.000 Well, I mean, it was definitely important to mention her religious practices.
00:19:51.000 That was really, really important.
00:19:53.000 If she'd been Muslim, I'm sure you would have featured that.
00:19:55.000 You're not going out of your way to just be like, those Orthodox Jews and their Jewish Jewishness.
00:20:00.000 By the way, I'm proudly Orthodox Jewish.
00:20:01.000 Print it in your story.
00:20:03.000 I don't care.
00:20:05.000 But the houseplant parody never took off.
00:20:07.000 On April 19th, 2021, she pivoted her accounts once again, this time to the libs of TikTok.
00:20:12.000 Just four months after getting started, libs of TikTok got its first big break.
00:20:15.000 Joe Rogan started promoting it.
00:20:17.000 Her anti-trans tweets went especially viral.
00:20:19.000 She called on her followers to contact schools allowing boys in girls' bathrooms.
00:20:22.000 Wow, how dare she?
00:20:23.000 And pushed the false conspiracy theory that schools were installing litter boxes in bathrooms for children who identify as cats.
00:20:32.000 What?
00:20:34.000 Um, huh?
00:20:38.000 Then she started directly impacting legislation.
00:20:41.000 Because it turns out that Rhonda Sanders' press secretary, Christina Pashaw, credited the account with opening her eyes.
00:20:48.000 Yes, by featuring stuff.
00:20:49.000 Again, this article just goes on and on and on because she's so evil.
00:20:54.000 So Taylor Lorenz has to go after her and tracks down her family and links directly to her real estate license, which puts her address on there.
00:21:00.000 So the Washington Post, it's amazing how many of these dumbass legacy media outlets will keep hiring Taylor Lorenz and then be burned by Taylor Lorenz and then have to defend Taylor Lorenz.
00:21:09.000 So they print this garbage.
00:21:11.000 The editor should be fired to put this out, by the way.
00:21:14.000 And the Cameron Barr, the senior managing editor, put out a statement, quote, For that statement alone, that she is an accomplished and diligent journalist, I don't think you know what words mean.
00:21:29.000 She's not accomplished, she's not diligent, and she's not a journalist.
00:21:31.000 So what that statement really should say is, Taylor Lorenz is a. That's what that sentence should read.
00:21:37.000 That would be the true statement.
00:21:39.000 But according to the Washington Post, she's an accomplished and diligent journalist whose reporting methods comport entirely with the Washington Post professional standards.
00:21:45.000 Well, that part doesn't shock me at all.
00:21:47.000 I'm sure they do comport with your garbage professional standards.
00:21:49.000 Chaya Raychik, in her management of the libs of TikTok, Twitter account, and in media interviews, has had significant impact on public discourse.
00:21:55.000 Her identity had become public knowledge on social media.
00:21:58.000 We did not publish to or link to any details about her personal life.
00:22:00.000 That last part is just a lie.
00:22:02.000 They put a link in the story, again, to her real estate brokerage account.
00:22:06.000 Which one's your home address?
00:22:08.000 And then they removed it.
00:22:10.000 So the question is, why did they remove it?
00:22:11.000 If this comported with all of your standards, why did you remove it?
00:22:15.000 And the answer is you removed it because you knew that you were wrong.
00:22:18.000 The whole point here is not really about Libs of TikTok.
00:22:22.000 The real point here is not really about Chaya Raycheck, who tweeted yesterday, quote, words cannot express how appreciative I am of the support I'm receiving right now.
00:22:29.000 Thankfully, I'm currently holed up in a safe location.
00:22:31.000 I'm confident we'll get through this and come out even stronger.
00:22:33.000 Grateful for all the thoughts and prayers.
00:22:35.000 It's not really about Chaya Raycheck.
00:22:36.000 This is about intimidating all the possible prospective Chaya Raychecks out there who might have the temerity to notice what you're doing.
00:22:43.000 That's all.
00:22:44.000 It's just about them trying to intimidate you.
00:22:47.000 The legacy media are in the intimidation game.
00:22:49.000 This is what they do.
00:22:50.000 They do it to big corporations, and they'll run pieces every single day about why Disney is bad until Disney caves, and then gets involved in a political conflict they had no business getting involved in, and then when Disney gets smacked by Ron DeSantis in Florida, then the media jump in and say, how dare anyone say something bad about Disney, after spending months saying, Disney's silence is deafening on the don't say gay bill.
00:23:10.000 The media are an intimidation thugocracy.
00:23:13.000 They're just a giant club on behalf of the left.
00:23:13.000 That's all they are.
00:23:16.000 And they will go after you.
00:23:17.000 And that's the point.
00:23:19.000 Because Khaya Raychuk will survive, and that account will continue to thrive, and it'll have more followers now than it did yesterday.
00:23:24.000 But, the point is to make you shut up, because if you don't shut up, then who knows, they could come after you too.
00:23:31.000 As I say, the legacy media is in the intimidation game.
00:23:33.000 They are nausea-inducing.
00:23:35.000 Well, let's say that you wanted to fight that nausea, not just by canceling your subscription to the Washington Post, which you probably should do, but also, By actually just fighting nausea.
00:23:43.000 Well, good news for you.
00:23:44.000 You can use ReliefBand.
00:23:46.000 My wife uses it.
00:23:46.000 It's a great product.
00:23:47.000 My sister has been using it.
00:23:49.000 ReliefBand is the number one FDA-cleared anti-nausea wristband.
00:23:51.000 It has been clinically proven to quickly relieve and effectively prevent nausea and vomiting associated with motion sickness, anxiety, migraines, hangovers, morning sickness, chemo, and so much more.
00:24:01.000 The way it works is actually really cool.
00:24:02.000 It's one of these devices.
00:24:03.000 It's kind of like magic.
00:24:04.000 It stimulates a nerve in the wrist.
00:24:05.000 It travels to the part of the brain that controls your nausea.
00:24:08.000 Then it blocks the signal your brain is sending to your stomach telling you that you are sick.
00:24:11.000 It's like the name says, it is a band that you wear on your wrist and it gives you relief.
00:24:15.000 Which is just excellent branding, I gotta tell you.
00:24:17.000 The technology was originally developed 20 years ago in hospitals to relieve patients from nausea.
00:24:21.000 Now through ReliefBand, it's available to the masses.
00:24:23.000 When my sister was suffering from morning sickness during her pregnancy, she was using ReliefBand like all the time.
00:24:28.000 Do not let the fear of nausea prevent you from being present for life's important moments right now.
00:24:32.000 Join the over 100,000 ReliefBand users with an exclusive offer just for Ben Shapiro listeners.

00:24:47.000 So, head on over to reliefband.com, that's R-E-L-I-E-F-B-A-N-D.com, use promo code SHAPIRO for 20% off plus free shipping.
00:24:55.000 Okay, meanwhile, the Biden administration continues to demonstrate its complete political buffoonery.
00:25:01.000 It's amazing.
00:25:02.000 So a federal judge yesterday ruled, or two days ago, ruled that the Biden mask mandate via the CDC did not comport with the enabling laws of the CDC.
00:25:12.000 So when you create a regulation, there's a very specific process you are supposed to go through with a notice and comment period.
00:25:17.000 It's supposed to be rolled out in advance of the regulation, and then you formally roll out the regulation.
00:25:21.000 Now, if you want to issue an emergency regulation, you can do that, but you can also initiate a full formal regulation review period.
00:25:30.000 And so what this allows you to do is you put out the emergency regulation, which only lasts for, say, 60 days.
00:25:34.000 And in that 60 days, you do the notice and comment.
00:25:36.000 And then the minute that the emergency regulation sunsets, then you already have another regulation ready to go.
00:25:42.000 The Biden administration didn't do that.
00:25:43.000 They put in place the CDC regulation, forcing everybody on any sort of federal transport to mask And they did this on an emergency basis to demonstrate that they knew it was an emergency.
00:25:55.000 And they didn't bother to do any of the rest of it.
00:25:56.000 So a federal judge struck that down.
00:25:58.000 So the federal judge in Florida made two separate rulings in this one ruling.
00:26:01.000 One was that the CDC didn't follow its own regulatory procedure.
00:26:05.000 That is absolutely true and perfectly clear.
00:26:07.000 The second was that the CDC really did not have the power to do this in general.
00:26:11.000 Now that one is a little bit more controversial.
00:26:13.000 You can argue maybe the CDC has the power to issue these sort of broad-scale regulatory restrictions with regard to federal travel, although really you would think that should be under the FAA's jurisdiction.
00:26:27.000 But it's pretty clear that the judge was correct that the CDC had not followed its own protocols.
00:26:33.000 As soon as this federal ruling came down, There was a massive level of confusion inside the administration over what to do.
00:26:44.000 Because no one in the administration actually wanted to just acquiesce to the federal judge.
00:26:49.000 But at the same time, they understood that this was a really bad policy.
00:26:55.000 So there was a bunch of sort of conflict inside the administration.
00:26:58.000 Nobody wanted to be the person who came out and either appealed the decision, which would try and replace the mask mandate and put a new mask mandate in place.
00:27:05.000 Or come out and just endorse the judge's decision.
00:27:08.000 So confusion reigned.
00:27:09.000 And it particularly reigned because folks in the media cannot handle this, particularly on MSNBC.
00:27:13.000 They're a bunch of mask forever, COVID zero insane people who have now been infused with panic.
00:27:21.000 And it's a syndrome at this point.
00:27:23.000 And they become addicted to the panic.
00:27:25.000 And they could not handle the possibility that you should be able to not mask your two-year-old on a plane.
00:27:29.000 They could not handle it.
00:27:31.000 Over on MSNBC, they were losing their bleep.
00:27:33.000 I mean, just losing it.
00:27:35.000 So, for example, you had MSNBC's Carol Lee saying that Democrats looked weak after Biden didn't do anything about the travel mask ruling.
00:27:44.000 So he had to look strong.
00:27:45.000 Strong!
00:27:46.000 Force those people to mask.
00:27:48.000 They're trying to walk this line of there are Democrats that I've spoken to who said, look, the president looks weak here.
00:27:54.000 He could have come out and owned this moment, this transition in the country where people are taking off their masks on transportation.
00:28:01.000 He didn't do that.
00:28:02.000 Instead, he's being led by the courts.
00:28:05.000 Um, so instead what happened again, this became kind of the talking point.
00:28:10.000 The left was like, why won't Biden do anything?
00:28:12.000 Why won't he protect us?
00:28:13.000 Okay, so they all still believe religiously in the cultic lie that Joe Biden was going to protect them from COVID.
00:28:19.000 After more people have died under Biden from COVID than under Trump, and Biden had a working vaccine.
00:28:25.000 They still believe that Biden has the magical ability to protect them from COVID by simply issuing federal regulations, which demonstrates the magical thinking that infuses the left.
00:28:32.000 If government says something will happen, it must definitely happen.
00:28:35.000 It'll definitely happen.
00:28:36.000 And then, folks on the left started virtue signaling by posting photos of themselves wearing masks.
00:28:42.000 I am a good person.
00:28:44.000 I am a person who still cares about te science.
00:28:47.000 Up to you.
00:28:48.000 I don't really care.
00:28:49.000 Frankly, it's a great ID badge for who's a COVID crazy person, unless you have some sort of significant underlying condition.
00:28:56.000 And I mean like really, really significant if you're talking about Omicron.
00:28:59.000 So if you wish to continue with this, by all means do so.
00:29:02.000 I'm perfectly happy to walk around society and know immediately who you are with just a moment's glance.
00:29:09.000 But all these people were acting as though they were world-breaking heroes for wearing masks now.
00:29:14.000 Because it is worth noting, the left really does not understand the difference between compulsory and optional.
00:29:22.000 They don't understand.
00:29:23.000 For the left, You know, T.H.
00:29:25.000 White.
00:29:25.000 So, our third Thursday book club this month, we're doing The Once and Future King.
00:29:29.000 There's a very famous line from The Once and Future King where T.H.
00:29:33.000 White is talking about the nature of fascism.
00:29:35.000 And he says, everything not compulsory is forbidden.
00:29:38.000 Right, so everything is either compulsory or forbidden.
00:29:41.000 Those are the only two categories.
00:29:43.000 Because when it comes to totalitarianism, that's true.
00:29:45.000 Either you are forced to do something or you're forced not to do something, but there's no option in the middle where you could do it or you couldn't do it.
00:29:50.000 So for folks on the left, it literally does not compute to them that if you remove a mandate, you are now not mandating that everybody take off the mask.
00:29:59.000 So they all start tweeting as though they are some sort of like French underground resistance to the evil anti-maskers.
00:30:05.000 So Valerie Jarrett posted a photo of herself as the former Obama chief of staff, quote, wearing my mask no matter what non-scientists tell me I can do.
00:30:13.000 I mean, first of all, a lot of scientists tell you you can do it and you seem to be a non-scientist.
00:30:18.000 And by the way, none of the mask mandates actually mandated that you wear a KN95 or N95 so far as I'm aware.
00:30:25.000 She's wearing, I believe, a KN95 in that particular photo.
00:30:28.000 She actually is one of the lesser crazy people.
00:30:30.000 But again, the broader point from the left is that they will not be compelled to unmask.
00:30:34.000 No one's trying to compel you to unmask, you idiots.
00:30:37.000 But for them, if it's not being compelled by government, it simply doesn't matter.
00:30:41.000 And so the scientific crew over at MSNBC, again, and they're just going nuts, MSNBC's And Dr. Patel says, you know what you should do?
00:30:49.000 You should really carry extra masks with you.
00:30:51.000 And you should ask all the people around you to mask up, which will make you the most unpopular person on a plane.
00:30:56.000 Now, listen, I've been the most unpopular person on a plane before.
00:30:59.000 Not really because of my politics, but because I have many small children and sometimes they just scream the whole flight.
00:31:03.000 But if you want to be less popular than the person with the screaming child who's changing diapers in the middle of a flight, be the person.
00:31:11.000 Who carries an extra bag of masks and asks everyone around you to mask up because you're a paranoid lunatic.
00:31:16.000 Here is a Dr. Patel.
00:31:18.000 The best thing they can do, high quality masks, and that when possible, carry some extra masks.
00:31:23.000 I know this sounds crazy, but if you tell someone next to you on a plane, pay a 95 and just say, or a surgical mask, and just say, I've got an elderly mother at home, I've got a child with cancer at home, will you please do me a favor?
00:31:35.000 Having the people at least closest to you in that row, protecting yourself and them, can be the best safety.
00:31:41.000 So, carry some extra masks with you, carry some rapid tests with you if you're traveling.
00:31:46.000 Okay, so it's these crazies who are running the Biden administration.
00:31:49.000 Because it turns out that people were really, really happy about unmasking.
00:31:49.000 Why?
00:31:53.000 There was a video going around yesterday, it's hysterical, of a black flight attendant who's walking down the aisle as the announcement is made, and he literally starts singing out loud that it's time to take the masks off, and people break into wild applause.
00:32:07.000 Here's what it sounded like.
00:32:09.000 But the Biden administration can't just take the L or even the mile W because if they just been like, you know what?
00:32:24.000 You know, it's time to move on.
00:32:24.000 They're right.
00:32:25.000 We wouldn't have done it this way.
00:32:26.000 But the truth is, we did get past COVID and that was us.
00:32:29.000 They could take like half credit, but they can't even take half credit because they're so in the colons of these people.
00:32:35.000 It's unreal.
00:32:37.000 And these people are they're lunatics.
00:32:39.000 I got to tell you, Robin Given has an entire piece over at the Washington Post titled Whoops of Selfish Delight.
00:32:46.000 Whoops of selfish delight.
00:32:48.000 For the moment, there are squeals of unbridled delight, which aren't so much a reflection of just how onerous the mask mandate has been, but rather just how childish and selfish so much of the country has been in dealing with it.
00:32:58.000 We are the good people!
00:32:59.000 It wasn't that we were doing stupid virtue-signaling nonsense for years on end!
00:32:59.000 We're virtuous!
00:33:04.000 No, we're the good people! We're good! And we're gonna continue wearing them now!
00:33:08.000 We're just... You stop this!
00:33:09.000 Stop it right now!
00:33:12.000 It's the most pathetic thing!
00:33:14.000 Robin Given's social media has been full of examples of airline passengers turning petulant and violent over mask rules.
00:33:19.000 As if in time before masks, people had been able to party like the wolves of Wall Street on planes, and now suddenly they were being forced to strap into a teeny tiny seat with limited legroom and survive on bags of miniature pretzels.
00:33:29.000 Masks are uncomfortable, but there are so many other aspects of flying that have been awful for a very long time.
00:33:34.000 Most of those long-term terrible circumstances resulted from airlines simply trying to raise revenue- ah, capitalism is to blame.
00:33:40.000 But the shouts of joy are a reminder that after everything people have been through collectively over these past two years, we are emerging from the darkness, still as absorbed by our individual circumstances as ever.
00:33:52.000 We complain bitterly about having to wear a mask as a benefit to others.
00:33:54.000 See, the left loved this.
00:33:56.000 They loved COVID lockdowns.
00:33:57.000 They loved COVID mindset, because COVID mindset was the collective, you see.
00:34:01.000 I wore a mask to protect you, and you wore a mask to protect me.
00:34:03.000 It's about the signal of it.
00:34:05.000 It's about the fact that if you don't wear the mask, it's because you are a selfish jackass.
00:34:08.000 But I am good.
00:34:11.000 I am deserving.
00:34:12.000 I am worthy of the heaven to come.
00:34:16.000 I've earned points in the non-existent governmental afterlife because I've worn that.
00:34:21.000 And not only that, now that I am such a good person, I will force everyone around me to mask.
00:34:25.000 It's not selfish of me to force everybody around me to mask.
00:34:27.000 It's selfish of you to not mask.
00:34:30.000 Very reminiscent of left-wing economic policy.
00:34:32.000 It's not selfish of me to insist that you pay all of my bills.
00:34:36.000 That's collectivism, my friend.
00:34:38.000 It is selfish of you to insist that you keep your own money.
00:34:41.000 Okay, so the DOJ didn't have to engage in any of this.
00:34:44.000 The DOJ instead decided that they were going to fight back.
00:34:46.000 Quote is the Justice Department statement.
00:34:49.000 The U.S.
00:34:49.000 Department of Justice today released the following statement on Health Freedom Defense Fund Inc.
00:34:53.000 vs. Biden.
00:34:54.000 The DOJ and the CDC disagree with the district court's decision and will appeal, subject to the CDC's conclusion that the order remains necessary for public health.
00:35:03.000 The department continues to believe the order requiring masking in the transportation corridor is a valid exercise of the authority Congress has given CDC to protect the public health.
00:35:12.000 So I do love that they are now basically going back to the CDC and throwing it at the CDC.
00:35:16.000 They're kind of splitting the baby here.
00:35:19.000 They're saying, we'll only appeal if the CDC says we should appeal.
00:35:23.000 Now we'll see if the CDC doubles down.
00:35:25.000 But it is pretty fascinating, and again...
00:35:28.000 In one second we'll get to Jen Psaki, who had to spend the day yesterday trying to defend a CDC mandate that nobody wants because these people are so- they're in their bubble.
00:35:36.000 They're in the Washington Post-Taylor Lorenz bubble.
00:35:39.000 This is where they live.
00:35:40.000 Well, if you want something good, never go to the Biden administration.
00:35:43.000 And if you want an auto part, never go to your auto parts store.
00:35:46.000 Because here's the thing, you're gonna go to that auto parts store, you're gonna wait in line, get to the front of the line, you're gonna ask for an auto part, and they're gonna be like, what kind of car do you have?
00:35:52.000 And there are like a thousand types of car.
00:35:54.000 They're not going to have the part.
00:35:55.000 They're just going to order it online, make you wait two weeks, and then finally upcharge you 30, 50, even 100%.
00:36:00.000 Or you could just order the thing online yourself at rockauto.com.
00:36:04.000 Rockauto.com only sells auto parts and related tools.
00:36:06.000 They've been doing it for 20 years.
00:36:08.000 Their unique intuitive catalog includes photos, specs, installation tips that make it easy to choose the correct parts for your specific vehicle.
00:36:14.000 They not only have the auto parts you need, they'll give you a selection of trusted name brands to choose from.
00:36:18.000 You can pick brakes that match how you use your vehicle, whether that's for towing, racing, or just commuting to work.
00:36:23.000 You get suspension, exhaust, air conditioning, and other kits that provide all the parts you need for a successful repair.
00:36:27.000 rockauto.com has lots of parts you might expect would only be available at car dealerships if they're available at all.
00:36:33.000 Like the fan inside your seat that cools your butt when you're in the car.
00:36:36.000 Like RockAuto.com actually sells that thing.
00:36:38.000 RockAuto.com prices, they're reliably low.
00:36:40.000 That means they don't change prices based on what the market will bear, like airlines or marketplace sites do.
00:36:44.000 Head on over to RockAuto.com for your auto parts.
00:36:47.000 Write Shapiro in there.
00:36:47.000 How did you hear about us, Fox?
00:36:49.000 So they know that we sent you.
00:36:50.000 Again, that's RockAuto.com.
00:36:51.000 Write Shapiro in that.
00:36:52.000 How did you hear about us, Fox?
00:36:53.000 So they know that you were sent by this show.
00:36:55.000 Alrighty.
00:36:56.000 Sports are not the place for politics or virtue signaling.
00:36:59.000 NBA star Jonathan Isaac is one of the few professionals who actually knows this.
00:37:02.000 He faced heavy criticism from the media for not buying into the Black Lives Matter lie that he had to kneel for the national anthem to demonstrate that America was systemically racist.
00:37:11.000 Jonathan is a brave dude.
00:37:12.000 That's why I'm extremely excited to announce he has decided to release a book with The Daily Wire.
00:37:16.000 It's called Why I Stand.
00:37:18.000 Jonathan's book is about the rise of his basketball career, his journey into faith, his strength to stand alone in the face of immense pressure.
00:37:23.000 The book is available for pre-order right now at Amazon.
00:37:26.000 Reserve your copy today.
00:37:27.000 You're listening to the largest, fastest growing conservative podcast and radio show in the nation.
00:37:36.000 So all the Biden administration has to do with this federal judge ruling is basically They blew it.
00:37:41.000 They had an opportunity to lead on this thing, and they didn't.
00:37:43.000 Instead, they were so intimidated by their own crazy left-wing base that they were still trying to push mask mandates for two-year-olds on federal flights while relieving Title 42, which basically says that illegal immigrants can't come into the country if they might have COVID.
00:37:58.000 So at the same time that COVID was not an issue on our border, it was an issue on airplanes, which have HEPA filters, and for small children.
00:38:04.000 So Jen Psaki has been asked about all of this and she just can't, she can't escape it because the logic is inescapable.
00:38:09.000 You guys don't know what you are doing.
00:38:11.000 So Jen Psaki yesterday, she says she's going to continue to advise all Americans to mask on airplanes.
00:38:15.000 But wait, I was told literally yesterday that you have no opinion on masking because you, of course, are not a medical source.
00:38:20.000 She literally said that yesterday in the White House press room because Peter Doocy asked her, why don't we have to mask here?
00:38:25.000 But you're saying that people should mask on airplanes.
00:38:26.000 She's like, well, I'm no doctor.
00:38:28.000 Well, here she is announcing that you should mask on an airplane based on, I don't know, Her red hair?
00:38:33.000 Like I just don't know what she's basing this on.
00:38:36.000 The CDC continues to advise and recommend masks on airplanes.
00:38:41.000 We're abiding by the CDC recommendations, the President is, and we would advise all Americans to do that.
00:38:47.000 Oh, well, you know, she, well, you'd advise.
00:38:49.000 You'd advise.
00:38:49.000 No one's taking your advice because your advice is stupid.
00:38:52.000 Also, she was then asked about the fact that there are so many Americans.
00:38:55.000 I mean, there's all sorts of stories of people on planes unmasking and cheering because it turns out nobody likes wearing these things.
00:39:02.000 And we were willing to wear them when we thought that we were seriously at risk.
00:39:05.000 It turns out that since the presence of the vaccines, those who are vaccinated don't die.
00:39:10.000 Those who are not vaccinated have a higher chance of dying.
00:39:13.000 Still, the vast majority of them, I mean like 99%, don't die.
00:39:17.000 And also, they chose not to get the vaccine.
00:39:20.000 Okay, but here she is saying, you know, we can't cite anecdotes.
00:39:23.000 Anecdotes are not data.
00:39:24.000 I love this coming from Jen Psaki, whose entire political perspective is anecdotal.
00:39:29.000 All of it.
00:39:30.000 As we'll see in just a moment, when it comes to the left, everything that they do is rooted in anecdotal nonsense, not rooted in data.
00:39:38.000 But here's just, anecdotes aren't data.
00:39:40.000 So, you know, if you get headaches from wearing a mask for five hours on a cross-country flight, and you have to deal with a screaming toddler who's wiping their nose with their mask, that's just anecdotes, man.
00:39:48.000 That isn't data.
00:39:51.000 You saw a lot of Americans, you know, immediately pulling off their masks and airplanes, very happy about the change.
00:39:57.000 Is the administration concerned that the public is moving on, you know, without the CDC and that the country's in a different place where the administration isn't?
00:40:07.000 Well, I've seen those videos.
00:40:08.000 Anecdotes are not data, right?
00:40:11.000 And certainly that does tell a part of the story.
00:40:14.000 But we don't make these decisions based on politics or based on the political whims on a plane or even in a poll.
00:40:21.000 Oh, well, yeah, except for the fact that nobody wants to do this anymore.
00:40:26.000 Like the polling data show that people are not into mask mandates.
00:40:28.000 Well, here's the thing.
00:40:29.000 They are in maybe some heavy blue areas.
00:40:31.000 There must be some political incentive here.
00:40:33.000 Either that or the media have these people so wrapped around their little finger that they'll just repeat anything.
00:40:37.000 Eric Adams, the mayor of New York, he says we're still going to do mask mandates on city subways.
00:40:40.000 First of all, you have a better chance at this point.
00:40:43.000 Thanks to the presence of Obama, you probably have a better chance of catching herpes or being stabbed on a city subway in New York or thrown in front of a train than you do of dying because you got COVID on a city subway in New York.
00:40:52.000 But here's Eric Adams.
00:40:54.000 We are going to continue to encourage New Yorkers to wear masks on the subway and we believe that we have the authorization to do so.
00:41:03.000 He's literally standing with no one on any side of him wearing a mask.
00:41:07.000 Now, you've seen a lot of videos of Eric Adams in pretty close proximity with people over the past few months wearing no mask, right?
00:41:13.000 But because he's announcing his fealty to the masks, His cultic loyalty to the mask.
00:41:18.000 He's gonna wear the mask now to prove to you because he is a member of the virtuous.
00:41:22.000 Guys, keep doing this.
00:41:23.000 Seriously, keep it up.
00:41:24.000 You're doing great.
00:41:25.000 You're just doing great.
00:41:26.000 By the way, how not great is the Biden administration doing?
00:41:29.000 Apparently, the Biden administration, thanks to blowback, is now considering not repealing Title 42.
00:41:35.000 So after a couple of weeks of saying we're going to repeal Title 42, the time has come we need to open up our border, it turns out that every Senate Democrat who's in a vulnerable position was like, uh, guys, we're going to lose our seats if you stop Title 42.
00:41:47.000 So what is Joe Biden doing?
00:41:48.000 He futzed around and now he's snapping Title 42 back into place, perhaps.
00:41:52.000 Quote, his axios, President Biden's inner circle has been discussing delaying the repeal of Title 42 border restrictions, according to a source with direct knowledge of the internal discussion.
00:42:01.000 The White House is looking for ways to buy time to avoid a massive influx of migrants that would add to already historic border numbers.
00:42:07.000 That already endangers Democratic incumbents in states that could decide the Senate majority in November.
00:42:11.000 Biden officials recognize they're in a jam.
00:42:13.000 Moderate Democrats are pounding on them to delay the repeal, but doing so would inflame the party's progressive base.
00:42:18.000 Oh, poor babies.
00:42:19.000 That includes members of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus who are scheduled to meet with the president next Monday.
00:42:24.000 I do love that they are more beholden to the Congressional Hispanic Caucus than to actual Hispanic voters who are running screaming with their hair on fire away from the Democratic Party at this point.
00:42:33.000 The Biden administration officials?
00:42:35.000 Yeah, sure.
00:42:35.000 That's gonna work.
00:42:36.000 their Democratic allies that keeping Title 42 allows for less immigration enforcement.
00:42:40.000 They say that because Title 42 is a rapid expulsion, migrants are free to try to reenter.
00:42:44.000 But once Title 42 is lifted, the administration will properly process migrants.
00:42:47.000 Yeah, sure.
00:42:48.000 That's, that's gonna, that's gonna work.
00:42:50.000 So it's hilarious to watch the Democrats caught between their progressive base and reality.
00:42:57.000 But that vice grip, I think that the Democrats just can't escape.
00:43:00.000 Not only can they not escape it, the vice grip is going to tighten, which is why November 2022 is going to be extremely ugly for Joe Biden.
00:43:08.000 And him going out there and just sort of rambling his usual nostrums is not going to help in any significant way.
00:43:15.000 The reaper is coming.
00:43:16.000 The political reaper is coming for these folks.
00:43:19.000 So, Joe Biden is going to continue to try to trot this thing out.
00:43:22.000 So, yesterday, he did another one of these speeches, and he's just so tired, and he's just so old, and everything he says is so tired and old.
00:43:27.000 He and his rhetoric have now merged.
00:43:28.000 Everything he does and everything he is, they are the same.
00:43:30.000 They are senile, old nonsense.
00:43:32.000 So, yesterday, he started talking about inflation again.
00:43:35.000 He says, you know, the first big reason for inflammity is cavity boobadabada COVID.
00:43:41.000 Let's be absolutely clear about why we have such high prices now.
00:43:46.000 There are two reasons.
00:43:47.000 First was COVID.
00:43:49.000 The way the global economy works, if a factory in Vietnam makes computer ships and shuts down in Vietnam because of a COVID outbreak, it causes a ripple effect to slow down manufacturing in Detroit, where they need those semiconductors to build the automobiles.
00:44:08.000 So because of the pandemic, we had disruptions in our supply of important materials.
00:44:13.000 So prices went up.
00:44:17.000 Weird, because the prices went up in Europe, like, way less than they did in the United States.
00:44:21.000 If it was just the pandemic, then you would expect it to be the same, but it's not.
00:44:25.000 But Biden has another reason, someone else to blame.
00:44:26.000 He says inflation is up because of Putinabagaday.
00:44:30.000 So here he is, talking about Vladimir Putinagadoo.
00:44:34.000 And the second big reason for inflation is Vladimir Putin.
00:44:39.000 Not a joke.
00:44:40.000 Yes, a joke.
00:44:40.000 Putin's invasion of Ukraine has driven up gas prices and food prices all over the world.
00:44:46.000 Two major breadbaskets of wheat in the world were Ukraine and Russia.
00:44:51.000 The United States is number three and Canada number four.
00:44:55.000 Well, we saw the most recent inflation data.
00:44:58.000 Last month, about 70% of the increase in inflation was a consequence of Putin's price hike because of the impact on gas and energy prices.
00:45:07.000 By the way, he tweeted this out today.
00:45:08.000 He said, I know families are still struggling with higher pedangle prices.
00:45:13.000 I grew up in a family where if the price of gas went up, we felt it.
00:45:16.000 That was right before my dad said, Joey, you see those two gay men having sex on a corner in Scranton, Pennsylvania?
00:45:21.000 I'm never going to get over that story.
00:45:24.000 Joe Biden used to tell that story like a lot, right?
00:45:27.000 When he was a little boy, his father said, Joey, you see those two gay men kissing on a corner in Scranton, Pennsylvania in 1957?
00:45:32.000 That's love, Joey.
00:45:36.000 Every Biden story that begins with, my dad said Joey, everything that comes after that is false and may be taken from Neil Kinnick.
00:45:42.000 Anyway, his tweet continues.
00:45:44.000 Let's be absolutely clear about why prices are high right now.
00:45:47.000 COVID and Vladimir Putin.
00:45:49.000 That's another dead giveaway.
00:45:50.000 Whenever Joe Biden says, let's be absolutely clear, the next words that follow after the colon are just lies.
00:45:54.000 Because it's COVID and Vladimir Putin.
00:45:56.000 He's selling something and American people are just not buying it.
00:46:00.000 And then he tries to blame trickle-down economics.
00:46:02.000 That's what you're not doing, dude.
00:46:03.000 First of all, trickle-down economics is a left-wing term for, you know, people keeping their own money.
00:46:08.000 But Joe Biden says, the only way to get out of this thing is for me to spend the money.
00:46:11.000 I'm going to spend more money.
00:46:13.000 That's going to solve inflation.
00:46:15.000 By rang-a-jang-a-boong-ing-a-the-jang-a-zang-a-doo.
00:46:18.000 Here we go.
00:46:20.000 I'm so tired of trickle-down economics.
00:46:22.000 Are you?
00:46:23.000 I never found that trickle-down on top of my head very much.
00:46:26.000 Really?
00:46:26.000 Hold on, hold on a second.
00:46:28.000 That dude is worth like 12 million dollars for being a lifetime useless...
00:46:32.000 Garbage hole.
00:46:33.000 It didn't trickle down.
00:46:37.000 He's right.
00:46:37.000 I mean, in a sense, it didn't trickle down upon him.
00:46:39.000 It trickled up from his son picking up bags of cash in places like Ukraine and China.
00:46:44.000 And suddenly, little Joey is buying wonderful houses based on credit card companies, giving him all sorts of sweetheart real estate deals in Delaware.
00:46:53.000 He's impoverished, Joe Biden.
00:46:54.000 Did you know this?
00:46:55.000 Did you know that Joe Biden is impoverished?
00:46:57.000 I bet you didn't know that.
00:46:58.000 I'll bet you didn't know that capitalism has never worked for Joe Biden.
00:47:01.000 Now, in a sense, he's right.
00:47:02.000 Capitalism has never worked for Joe Biden because this has never actually created a job or done anything useful for his entire life.
00:47:09.000 But I love him claiming victimhood at the hands of American capitalism.
00:47:13.000 What a pathetic old codger.
00:47:14.000 My goodness.
00:47:16.000 Pleasure being listed as the poorest man in Congress for 36 years.
00:47:20.000 I still had making a hell of a lot more money than anybody else because I was getting a senator's salary.
00:47:24.000 Okay, so that dude is so tiresome.
00:47:27.000 So what is this administration left with?
00:47:28.000 They've got a senile old president who cannot string together three sentences.
00:47:32.000 They have a bunch of bad policy.
00:47:34.000 So what they are now focusing it on is the trans kids.
00:47:36.000 Okay, now let's be real about this.
00:47:39.000 There are people with gender dysphoria.
00:47:41.000 They are a minute percentage of the population.
00:47:43.000 Then there are all the young kids whose parents are massaging them into identifying as gender non-binary and trans.
00:47:52.000 The vast majority of kids who suffer from gender dysphoria, actual diagnosed gender dysphoria, end up growing out of it.
00:47:59.000 Somewhere between 70 and 90% by all available studies.
00:48:01.000 Now you have mass numbers of young kids who are basically being Munchausen syndrome by proxied into believing that they're members of the opposite sex.
00:48:09.000 And we're supposed to believe that we have to indoctrinate all kids from kindergarten on with the idea that they could be a member of the opposite sex.
00:48:15.000 And if you don't go along with this, it's because you're very bad.
00:48:17.000 This is the White House pushing this.
00:48:19.000 So Jen Psaki yesterday, she broke down in tears over the idea that you shouldn't be indoctrinating six-year-olds with the idea they can be a member of the opposite sex.
00:48:27.000 Here is Jen Psaki crying over this.
00:48:29.000 I mean, forget about the killing of one million unborn children in the United States every year.
00:48:33.000 Forget about all that.
00:48:34.000 She's crying over the fact that these public school teachers They can't come out as trans pansexuals to their six-year-old students.
00:48:42.000 She's crying over the fact that your small child cannot be indoctrinated by a bunch of woke leftists.
00:48:47.000 I mean, that is worthy of her tears.
00:48:49.000 It's also... Here's Jen Psaki.
00:48:52.000 This is a political wedge issue and an attempt to win a culture war.
00:48:57.000 And they're doing that in a way that is harsh and cruel to a community of kids especially.
00:49:04.000 I'm going to get emotional about this issue because it's horrible.
00:49:10.000 But, you know, it's like kids who are bullied and all these leaders are taking steps to hurt them and hurt their lives and hurt their families.
00:49:21.000 And you look at some of these laws in these states and it is going after parents who are in loving relationships who have kids.
00:49:27.000 It's completely outrageous.
00:49:30.000 Okay, she's gonna have to explain how bullying is now enabled by us not indoctrinating.
00:49:35.000 You know what the kind of bullying that I'm worried about is?
00:49:37.000 Adults telling kids that they can be members of the opposite sex.
00:49:41.000 That's the kind of bullying that I'm afraid of.
00:49:43.000 And I'm also afraid of governmental sponsorship of this.
00:49:46.000 And the White House telling people in states that they must be forced to gender transition their kids.
00:49:53.000 Which, by the way, is what this administration would like.
00:49:55.000 If this administration had its way, what they would like is that if you had a child who said, a five-year-old who said, I'm gender confused, that child should go to school, the teachers would not tell you, the teachers would, quote-unquote, socially transition the kids, and then, as soon as humanly possible, we'd start giving the kids puberty blockers without parental consent.
00:50:13.000 That is what this White House would like if they had their way.
00:50:15.000 But you're the bully for saying no to that.
00:50:17.000 You're the bully.
00:50:18.000 And here's the thing.
00:50:19.000 All of this is rooted in garbage science.
00:50:22.000 It is rooted in a peculiar unwillingness to look directly in the face.
00:50:26.000 The dangers of puberty blockers and the true dangers of gender quote-unquote transition.
00:50:33.000 Good piece by Barry Weiss's sister Susie Weiss over at her substat called the testosterone hangover.
00:50:38.000 Quote, the Biden administration says transgender kids are entitled to gender-affirming medical care.
00:50:42.000 These girls disagree.
00:50:44.000 I have this intense rage in me over the harm that was done to me.
00:50:46.000 When Chloe woke up from an elective double mastectomy, she texted her mother in the waiting room.
00:50:51.000 Booba gone.
00:50:52.000 That was a little over two years ago.
00:50:54.000 She was 15.
00:50:57.000 Cutting off healthy breasts because you have a society that now promotes the idea that boys can be girls and girls can be boys.
00:51:04.000 The typo was intentional, she told me recently.
00:51:05.000 I thought it was funny.
00:51:06.000 Is that a good thing, her mom replied?
00:51:07.000 Yes, Chloe texted back.
00:51:09.000 I don't think that answer aged well, she said to me.
00:51:11.000 Chloe, who lives in California's Central Valley, always hated her body.
00:51:14.000 She spent a lot of time on Tumblr and learned words like pansexual and bigender.
00:51:17.000 She remembers when she was 12, sitting on her bed thinking, maybe I'm meant to live as a boy.
00:51:21.000 By 2018, at age 14, Chloe was well along a path to what she imagined was boyhood.
00:51:25.000 She was going by Leo.
00:51:26.000 She was taking puberty blockers.
00:51:28.000 Where are her parents in all this, by the way?
00:51:29.000 Her mother was administering her weekly testosterone injections.
00:51:34.000 Two years later, in early June 2020, she went under the knife.
00:51:37.000 Khloe was the beneficiary of what transgender activists call gender-affirming care, which means all the adults in her life, doctors, nurses, social workers, teachers, parents, actively supported her decision to become the person she believed she was meant to be, even if that person required an elective mastectomy in high school, or taking puberty blockers, or injecting cross-sex hormones like testosterone.
00:51:56.000 In this, Khloe is the poster child for the Biden administration's recently announced transgender policy.
00:52:02.000 There is a growing chorus of young people, including Chloe, who had come to regret deeply the decisions they had made and the gender-affirming care they had received.
00:52:09.000 In the middle of this story are teenagers who are largely going unheard by a government and medical establishment that's plowing ahead.
00:52:14.000 I don't think gender-affirming care helps kids like me, said Chloe.
00:52:17.000 There should be more regard to alternatives in treating dysphoria, especially when it comes to kids.
00:52:22.000 Helena Kirshner, 23, says, I thought testosterone would transform me from being short and pudgy to lanky and male, but in a graceful type of way, not muscly.
00:52:30.000 Helena is from Cincinnati.
00:52:31.000 She's one of the country's most prominent detransitioners.
00:52:33.000 Growing up in Ohio meant Helena could only transition with parental consent.
00:52:37.000 But she was 15.
00:52:38.000 Her parents were definitely not on board.
00:52:39.000 She wore boys clothes and a breast binder and cut her hair short.
00:52:42.000 The guidance counselor at her public school agreed with Helena.
00:52:44.000 She was a man.
00:52:45.000 She helped her make a budget for her transition and referred her to the school psychologist who was even more gung-ho.
00:52:50.000 Quote, I remember the psychologist saying, your mom is a transphobe and telling me about suicide risks.
00:52:55.000 They had three or four meetings before inviting Helena's mother to have a conversation with both of them, which didn't go well.
00:53:00.000 I had a ton of issues with my academics and my mental health.
00:53:02.000 I never really got help with that.
00:53:03.000 As soon as I was trans, it was all hands on deck.
00:53:05.000 By the way, her mom is a doctor and her dad is an engineer.
00:53:09.000 Days after she turned 18, Helena went to Planned Parenthood in Chicago.
00:53:12.000 She saw a social worker, then a nurse practitioner, who immediately wrote a prescription for testosterone.
00:53:16.000 During the first visit, Helena asked, How much can I take?
00:53:20.000 Helena left the clinic with a prescription of 100 milligrams of testosterone.
00:53:24.000 It took an hour.
00:53:25.000 She never saw a doctor.
00:53:27.000 Two days later, she was moving into her college dorm.
00:53:29.000 Helen and his family helped her move in.
00:53:30.000 She made sure to hide the glass vials and needles from them.
00:53:33.000 She started going by Vincent after her favorite anime character.
00:53:35.000 She injected herself with testosterone weekly.
00:53:37.000 The drug made her feel irritable and angry.
00:53:39.000 It gave her a sex drive, a massive boost she called overwhelming.
00:53:42.000 She began hitting herself.
00:53:43.000 She once cut herself with a serrated kitchen knife, which landed her in a psych ward for a week.
00:53:47.000 After a year and a half on testosterone, it also began to dawn on her that, quote, the reality I was living in was not lining up with the fantasy I'd had as a teen.
00:53:54.000 Helena's roommate, also a trans man, shocking, made a video chronicling their friendship.
00:53:59.000 It started the second day of college.
00:54:00.000 It spanned a period of about a year and a half.
00:54:01.000 It was supposed to be upbeat, but when Helena watched it, she saw herself becoming more despondent.
00:54:06.000 Slowly, Helena realized she wasn't a boy.
00:54:11.000 I mean, again, the fact that the White House is now saying that it's bullying to say no to this stuff is just insanity.
00:54:17.000 So, this has now taken center stage with regard to Disney.
00:54:22.000 So, Disney injected itself into this debate.
00:54:25.000 The media bullied them, really.
00:54:26.000 The media did the Taylor Swift silence is deafening routine, but with Disney.
00:54:29.000 Disney has nothing— Disney is the biggest employer in Florida.
00:54:31.000 Don't they have anything to say, anything at all, about the so-called Don't Say Gay Bill?
00:54:36.000 And when I say so-called, I mean just the media calling it that for no reason?
00:54:40.000 Don't they have anything to say?
00:54:41.000 And Disney, because it's a cowardly company run by a bunch of pathetic, spineless, pusillanimous idiots, went along with this.
00:54:47.000 And they immediately started, well, you know, we don't like that bill.
00:54:50.000 That bill's really bad.
00:54:51.000 And we're not going to donate to anybody who supports bills like that.
00:54:54.000 We're going to get deeply involved in politics.
00:54:56.000 Well, now, Ron DeSantis has come out, and he says, you know what?
00:54:59.000 Fine.
00:55:00.000 You want to play this game?
00:55:01.000 You buy the ticket, you take the ride.
00:55:04.000 Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
00:55:06.000 So now, the state of Florida is moving to get rid of the special tax district in which Walt Disney World sits.
00:55:12.000 Which, by the way, it's so funny.
00:55:13.000 The left is so in favor of it.
00:55:15.000 Like, in California.
00:55:16.000 In California, if you're a publicly traded company, California's legislature attempts to set your board.
00:55:21.000 They say if you operate in California, you're headquartered in California, they will literally attempt to tell you how many trans people and black people and minority people have to be sitting on the board of your company.
00:55:32.000 But if a company comes out and says, we are going to deeply invest ourselves in politics, and they've been getting special tax breaks from the state, and the party they're attacking says, no, no, no, no, no, no more of this.
00:55:43.000 That's really bad.
00:55:43.000 You can't interfere with free enterprise that way.
00:55:45.000 You can't.
00:55:46.000 So what DeSantis is actually doing is getting rid of these tax districts for everyone in the state.
00:55:50.000 Disney just happens to be, just happens to be, the largest employer hit by this.
00:55:55.000 Florida lawmakers could take up a bill that ends the special tax district this week.
00:55:59.000 Losing the special district would be a blow to Disney's operations in Florida.
00:56:02.000 The provision exempts the company from a host of regulations, saves it tens of millions of bucks every year.
00:56:07.000 In recent weeks, DeSantis has clashed with Disney over the company's opposition to the Florida Parental Rights and Education Bill.
00:56:13.000 Initially, Disney remained silent.
00:56:14.000 Now, Disney representatives are not responding to requests for comment.
00:56:18.000 So it turns out, again, play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
00:56:21.000 You decided to get involved in politics, you got clocked in the face with a political 2x4, good.
00:56:26.000 Good!
00:56:27.000 All you had to do was say, listen, we're not going to get involved in these issues.
00:56:30.000 We will get involved in issues that directly impact our business in the state of Florida, like, for example, lobbying for a special tax district.
00:56:36.000 When it comes to bills like, should K-3 students be indoctrinated with sexual orientation garbage?
00:56:42.000 Then we're not going to have any comment.
00:56:44.000 That's all you had to say.
00:56:45.000 But you guys were cowards, and so you didn't.
00:56:48.000 According to one of the sponsors, Republican Representative Randy Fine, he filed a bill under which any special district established prior to the ratification of the Florida Constitution in 1968, not renewed since then, would be dissolved June 1st, 2023.
00:57:02.000 That would include that entire massive area covered by Disney World.
00:57:06.000 You kick the hornet's nest and things come up, said Mr. Fine.
00:57:09.000 That's the risk Disney took.
00:57:10.000 Correct.
00:57:11.000 This is correct.
00:57:13.000 You don't get to dip your feet in politics and then not have the alligator bite it off here in the state of Florida.
00:57:17.000 Now, Jared Polis over in Colorado, he's attempting to take advantage.
00:57:21.000 He says, Florida's authoritarian socialist attacks on the private sector are driving businesses away.
00:57:21.000 I love this.
00:57:25.000 Oh, are they?
00:57:26.000 Really?
00:57:27.000 Florida's economy is growing.
00:57:29.000 People's feet are taking them to Florida.
00:57:31.000 And I noticed that Walt Disney is not actually talking about relocating Disney World.
00:57:35.000 It would cost too much money.
00:57:35.000 You know why?
00:57:37.000 Because they sunk a lot of resources in the state of Florida, and then they decided that they were going to get deeply involved in a political fight.
00:57:43.000 There are consequences to that.
00:57:44.000 And by the way, I don't trust Democrats or Jared Polis with the idea that they will remain apolitical.
00:57:51.000 Businesses are leaving California, and they're going to Florida and Texas.
00:57:53.000 That is where they're going.
00:57:54.000 I know.
00:57:55.000 I took a business from California to Tennessee and Florida.
00:57:58.000 But, says Jared Polis, it's authoritarian socialism now to get rid of special tax districts for specialized companies, giving them special tax breaks.
00:58:07.000 Interesting definition of authoritarian socialism.
00:58:10.000 Also, he's very angry with Ron DeSantis because Ron DeSantis came out and he said that he is going to look into Twitter's board of directors.
00:58:21.000 He said that because Twitter has basically been attempting to stop Elon Musk's takeover.
00:58:26.000 And they're doing so on the basis of politics.
00:58:29.000 So DeSantis said, we're going to try to hold Twitter accountable for breach of fiduciary duty.
00:58:32.000 After all, people are being offered way more than the current stock price by Elon Musk.
00:58:35.000 Here's Ron DeSantis yesterday.
00:58:36.000 The state of Florida and our pension system, we have shares of Twitter.
00:58:42.000 We have people that run the fund.
00:58:42.000 I didn't buy it.
00:58:44.000 But nevertheless, it hasn't exactly been great in returns on investment.
00:58:48.000 It's been pretty stagnant for many, many years.
00:58:51.000 So, but nevertheless, I mean, to me, I think that that's probably an injury to the fund.
00:58:55.000 So we're going to be looking at ways that the state of Florida potentially can be holding these Twitter board of directors accountable for breaching their fiduciary duty.
00:59:05.000 Again, play stupid games, win stupid prizes, gang.
00:59:08.000 And listen, I'm all for free enterprise.
00:59:09.000 I love free enterprise.
00:59:10.000 I'm probably the most free enterprise person in the country.
00:59:13.000 When you play these games, expect to get clocked.
00:59:17.000 You don't get to become a force on behalf of the left and then expect people like me to stand in the way and protect you.
00:59:21.000 Ain't gonna happen.
00:59:22.000 Alrighty, we'll be back here later today with an additional hour of content.
00:59:24.000 In the meantime, go check out The Michael Moller Show.
00:59:26.000 That's available right now.
