00:00:00.000 The WNBA is still being held hostage by its indecisive and painfully woke leadership.
00:00:04.000 Meanwhile, Indiana Fever coach ranted at the media with Michelle Obama quotes from 2014 because this is where they all are at mentally, and then told the media to go to hell and stormed off.
00:00:15.000 It was not an all time great rant.
00:00:17.000 We'll rank a few of those rants.
00:00:19.000 Apparently, the WNBA held a task force to determine what to do with men who say they are women, and they could not come to any sort of conclusion.
00:00:29.000 I mean, not to be sexist, but maybe that's because everyone in the room was a woman.
00:00:35.000 But in any case, they got a bunch of women in the room and shockingly, they could not come to a conclusion about where to go to dinner.
00:00:43.000 Oops, I mean, like what a woman is.
00:00:46.000 I'm just saying this because I have a wife and I got to say that when I watch my wife do conversations with her friends about where to go to dinner, it is one of the funniest things in the entire world.
00:00:55.000 It is just a series of attempts not to offend anyone by making an overt suggestion.
00:01:00.000 Because if you suggest a restaurant somebody doesn't like, they might feel obligated to go to that restaurant, but secretly they don't actually want to go to that restaurant.
00:01:06.000 So can I get your suggestion first?
00:01:07.000 But they also don't want to do that.
00:01:08.000 And so you have a You have a prisoner's dilemma of not suggesting restaurants, at which point my wife will ask me what restaurant they should go to, and I will make a suggestion, which she will then reject.
00:01:19.000 That's pretty much how all of that goes.
00:01:20.000 So I assume that the same thing is happening inside the task force for the WNBA.
00:01:26.000 By contrast, when men decide where they want to go to dinner, one guy says, Where do you want to eat?
00:01:30.000 The other guy says, I'd like to go to Burger King.
00:01:32.000 And the guy goes, Okay, cool.
00:01:35.000 Or I hate that.
00:01:36.000 Let's go to Dairy Queen.
00:01:39.000 This is why every conversation between two men.
00:01:43.000 Last approximately 11 seconds.
00:01:46.000 Every conversation between two women lasts about eight hours.
00:01:49.000 And every conversation between a woman and a man lasts about one hour.
00:01:55.000 And the man gets in three sentences.
00:01:59.000 That's my sexist rant for the day, so long as we're on this.
00:02:02.000 Anyway, so the WNBA, they met, they could not determine what a woman was.
00:02:09.000 So they couldn't figure out the W in WNBA.
00:02:12.000 They put out a statement, quote, Today's meeting covered a wide range of topics, including ongoing discussions on transgender athletes and the continued hate and vitriol directed at players online.
00:02:20.000 We'll continue to engage all league stakeholders in the coming weeks and months.
00:02:24.000 We'll approach these important conversations thoughtfully and in alignment with the values of our league.
00:02:28.000 This means nothing.
00:02:29.000 It's a lot of things that don't mean anything.
00:02:31.000 There are no immediate eligibility matters affecting the WNBA.
00:02:34.000 We strongly denounce the bad faith efforts to use these topics to demean or marginalize others.
00:02:39.000 How do they know their bad faith?
00:02:40.000 How are they identifying the bad faith?
00:02:41.000 How dare they?
00:02:43.000 How dare they suggest that Enos Cantor Is somehow bad faith when he says he wants to play in the WNBA.
00:02:48.000 How do they know that?
00:02:49.000 Can they get inside his head?
00:02:50.000 I mean, are they saying that he's not a woman?
00:02:55.000 Is that what they're saying right now?
00:02:56.000 And if so, how do they know?
00:02:59.000 They should stop woman splaining to the fellow woman.
00:03:03.000 They need to stop that right now.
00:03:05.000 What a disaster area the WNBA is, truly.
00:03:07.000 It's amazing.
00:03:08.000 They have a generational chance to get a crowd to watch them, and they're busy arguing over what a woman is and whether they should assault the white lady on court.
00:03:15.000 Incredible.
00:03:16.000 We'll get to more on this in a moment.
00:03:17.000 First, the window to reach a woman facing an unexpected pregnancy has now gotten incredibly, incredibly small.
00:03:22.000 Today, she can order the abortion pill online from her phone without ever walking into a clinic, sometimes before she's spoken to anyone who can remind her that she's not alone and that there's help and there is another option.
00:03:32.000 This is why the work preborn does really, really matters.
00:03:35.000 At preborn network clinics, women are met with compassion, practical support, and a free ultrasound.
00:03:40.000 That ultrasound can change everything.
00:03:41.000 More than 80% of abortion vulnerable women who see their baby on an ultrasound at a preborn network clinic choose life.
00:03:48.000 And I have five kids.
00:03:49.000 I met all of them well before they were born, thanks to ultrasound.
00:03:52.000 And it does change how you think about legitimately everything in the world.
00:03:56.000 For just $28, you can provide that moment for another mother.
00:03:58.000 One life saving ultrasound, $140 helps rescue five babies.
00:04:02.000 You're not simply helping save a child.
00:04:04.000 Preborn walks alongside these moms with support.
00:04:06.000 So please don't wait.
00:04:07.000 Dial pound 250, say keyword baby.
00:04:10.000 That's pound 250, baby, or get securely at preborn.comslash Ben.
00:04:15.000 That's preborn.comslash Ben.
00:04:17.000 Together, we can save lives, one heartbeat at a time.
00:04:20.000 So Indiana Fever Coach Stephanie White, she got herself in a little bit of hot water the other day because she did a presser.
00:04:27.000 So after Sophie Cunningham was basically mauled on the court, by a, uh, by a player whose name escapes me because I don't give a sh about the WNBA.
00:04:40.000 And I know her first name is Dijonet.
00:04:41.000 I don't know her last name.
00:04:43.000 What was it?
00:04:43.000 Carrington.
00:04:44.000 Okay.
00:04:45.000 So apparently after Dijonet Carrington, a human mugged Sophie Cunningham, another human, but Sophie Cunningham is the white lady who sometimes says that men aren't women and tries to protect Kaitlyn Clark from being physically assaulted on, on the court.
00:05:00.000 And the Indiana Fever coach went out and she was like, Dijonet Carrington is a great player and she's just trying to play and blah, blah.
00:05:05.000 So then she walked back her defense because a bunch of people were like, you know, you might want to defend the player who almost had her head ripped off.
00:05:13.000 For those who have anything to say about the play in the last game, I didn't see the play in real time.
00:05:18.000 I went straight to a press conference.
00:05:20.000 I thought the play got called right.
00:05:21.000 Thankfully, Sophie's okay.
00:05:24.000 Was it egregious?
00:05:25.000 Absolutely.
00:05:26.000 When you have a chance to watch that over and over and over on replay, you can see that.
00:05:32.000 I didn't have that in real time.
00:05:34.000 I mean, everyone else had that in real time, so that's weird.
00:05:36.000 I mean, she was literally sitting five feet away from it happening.
00:05:39.000 But then she got mad at the media.
00:05:41.000 This is not an all time great basketball media rant.
00:05:44.000 There are a few.
00:05:46.000 There's the famous Dennis Green rant.
00:05:49.000 And of course, there is the Ellen Iverson, we're talking about practice rant, one of the great rants of all time.
00:05:56.000 This one does not chart.
00:05:58.000 The hate, the fear mongering, the divisiveness, the stuff that's trying to hijack our league will not win.
00:06:07.000 She's pounding his head.
00:06:07.000 It won't win.
00:06:10.000 We are united.
00:06:11.000 We are connected.
00:06:14.000 We will not be divided.
00:06:17.000 Every day, these women put their on the line.
00:06:22.000 Every day.
00:06:23.000 What is a woman?
00:06:24.000 No one knows.
00:06:25.000 When they go low, we go high.
00:06:26.000 Love will win.
00:06:28.000 Grace will win.
00:06:29.000 Humility will win.
00:06:31.000 And kindness will win.
00:06:32.000 Just a bag of slogans.
00:06:34.000 I stand by them.
00:06:35.000 I will always stand by them.
00:06:37.000 Everybody else can go to hell.
00:06:40.000 And then storm off virtuously after citing a bunch of Michelle Obama slogans from 2014.
00:06:47.000 When they go low, we go high.
00:06:49.000 We take every day one game at a time.
00:06:52.000 You're basically just doing the Bull Durham routine, just repeating all of the various one liners that you're supposed to say at an interview.
00:06:58.000 Good job.
00:06:59.000 Great job, WBM.
00:07:00.000 You're doing great, WNBA.
00:07:02.000 Okay, in other NBA news, the LA Lakers have now been bought by Bob Iger and Josh Kushner.
00:07:07.000 The Lakers are valued at $12.5 billion.
00:07:11.000 So that comes 14 months after the Bus family sold a controlling stake in the Lakers to billionaire Mark Walter at a $10 billion valuation.
00:07:17.000 So, first of all, you turn that around real quick.
00:07:21.000 So, they're going to do due diligence and the NBA approval process and all the rest.
00:07:26.000 I hope that President Trump shows up at every LA Lakers game.
00:07:28.000 It'll be hilarious.
00:07:30.000 I will say that the Lakers are in trouble.
00:07:32.000 This is not a well assembled roster.
00:07:35.000 And they paid a lot of money for Walker Kessler.
00:07:37.000 I'm not sure that that was a good deal.
00:07:39.000 Can you build the team around Walker Kessler, Austin Reeves, and Luka Doncic?
00:07:42.000 I mean, Luka, yes, but I don't know.
00:07:45.000 They got some salary cap issues over there in LA.
00:07:48.000 What an amazing video you just watched.
00:07:50.000 Wasn't that amazing?
