00:00:00.000 No, it's not a joke to me, okay? 0.99
00:00:01.000 I don't have time for this crap in my life. 0.97
00:00:03.000 My life is hard enough as it is, okay? 1.00
00:00:05.000 I don't need this crap. 0.92
00:00:06.000 I got kids at home that once a day without me right now, and I was supposed to be at home an hour ago, and I'm still out here working, and I got to get up at five in the morning and do ten more stores. 0.98
00:00:17.000 So, this is not a joke to me.
00:00:20.000 So, the person you're listening to, his name is Wald.
00:00:22.000 He's a middle aged white guy who works at Red Baron.
00:00:25.000 He stocks shelves, taking their frozen pizza, putting it at Walmart, for example.
00:00:30.000 And he's going after an 18 year old clout chaser.
00:00:32.000 Who's harassing him by pretending to steal his money?
00:00:35.000 Our politics ought to be focused on Walt. 0.96
00:00:37.000 So, why is everybody focused on pleasing the 18 year old douchebag?
00:00:49.000 All right, so I want to play you the entire clip here. 0.84
00:00:52.000 This video has gone viral.
00:00:53.000 It's been reshared across multiple social media platforms.
00:00:56.000 And here you see someone named online only as Walt Z, who's approached by somebody who pretends to steal $10 from him through Apple Pay.
00:01:03.000 The streamer holds out his phone to the employee's phone.
00:01:06.000 The Apple Pay transaction sound plays.
00:01:09.000 And from the perspective of the viewer, it's pretty obvious it's pre recorded sound, but it's not clear for the employee.
00:01:14.000 Now the Instagram account for that clip has been deleted appropriately.
00:01:18.000 Here's what the whole transaction looked like.
00:01:22.000 Hey, excuse me?
00:01:23.000 You know what time it is, boss?
00:01:26.000 11 35.
00:01:26.000 What are you doing?
00:01:30.000 Dude, thank you, bro.
00:01:31.000 What are you doing?
00:01:32.000 I just took $10 out of this.
00:01:34.000 You're not asking me right now, okay?
00:01:36.000 I need it.
00:01:36.000 Huh?
00:01:37.000 But I need it real quick. 0.97
00:01:38.000 I am not in the name of this crap right now. 0.98
00:01:41.000 Apple Pie? 0.99
00:01:42.000 Dude, you hear me?
00:01:43.000 I just need to buy something real quick, though.
00:01:45.000 You think this is fine, don't you?
00:01:46.000 Are you recording me right now?
00:01:48.000 You should record me right now?
00:01:48.000 You don't.
00:01:49.000 I'm on my raid bed.
00:01:49.000 No, no, no.
00:01:50.000 I'm going to go report you right now.
00:01:53.000 Alright, bye, boss.
00:01:55.000 Thank you for the $20, man.
00:01:56.000 I appreciate it.
00:01:59.000 It is not that deep.
00:01:59.000 Are you for real, bro?
00:02:01.000 It is not that deep.
00:02:03.000 I mean, if you really want to go outside.
00:02:06.000 It's not that deep, man.
00:02:08.000 It was just a joke.
00:02:09.000 It was just a joke.
00:02:10.000 It was just a joke.
00:02:12.000 No, it's not a joke to me, okay? 0.99
00:02:13.000 I don't have time for this crap in my life. 0.97
00:02:15.000 My life is hard enough as it is, okay? 1.00
00:02:18.000 I don't need this crap. 0.98
00:02:19.000 I got kids at home that went to bed without me right now. 0.99
00:02:21.000 I was supposed to be at home an hour ago.
00:02:24.000 And I'm still out here working.
00:02:26.000 And I gotta get up at 5 in the morning and do 10 more stores.
00:02:30.000 So this is not a joke to me.
00:02:32.000 And now I'm probably gonna get kicked out of the store because of you.
00:02:35.000 Not funny.
00:02:37.000 Okay, I'm sorry.
00:02:40.000 No, you're not, Sonny.
00:02:41.000 You got a smug look on your face.
00:02:43.000 I'm sorry, but I'm sorry.
00:02:44.000 I'm just like, I don't need this in my life.
00:02:46.000 No, I get you.
00:02:47.000 No, you don't.
00:02:48.000 You're probably making money off this. 1.00
00:02:50.000 I can't even pay my goddamn mortgage. 0.99
00:02:52.000 And I got four kids at home. 0.99
00:02:55.000 So not funny.
00:02:59.000 And so, this entire series of events led off by an 18 year old pretending to steal money from just a blue collar worker who's stocking shelves.
00:03:08.000 This resulted in sort of a white pill moment in a GoFundMe for this person.
00:03:12.000 It was organized by a person named Luke Okenshields, who clarified in the fundraiser description he has no idea who the employee is.
00:03:18.000 He says, This fundraiser is about standing up for a working person who is busting their butt and should not have to fear losing stability because someone wanted content and clicks.
00:03:27.000 And this.
00:03:29.000 Has currently raised something like $465,000, approaching half a million dollars.
00:03:35.000 Now, Red Baron Pizza put out a statement saying, not only is he not losing his job, he's got a fan club.
00:03:40.000 They put out a tweet.
00:03:42.000 They said, he's the employee of the month.
00:03:44.000 He's still here.
00:03:45.000 He's got a fan club, including us.
00:03:46.000 Employee of the month nominations are closed.
00:03:48.000 You know why.
00:03:50.000 Now, listen, I don't know who this 18 year old streamer was, and I don't know who Walt Z is really, but they are sort of emblematic, at least in feel and vibe, for a broad swath of other people in the country.
00:04:01.000 Walt is the guy who matters here. 0.92
00:04:04.000 The 18 year old douchebag really doesn't. 1.00
00:04:06.000 Unfortunately, our entire politics is now built around the 18 year old douchebags, which is just one reason we have a bunch of entitled selfie addicted idiots running around harassing blue collar workers for social media cloud. 1.00
00:04:17.000 We're supposed to care about this Gen Zer, the same kind of person who is probably complaining he can't get a $22 burrito from Chipotle delivered by hand from an Uber Eats driver. 0.99
00:04:26.000 But I think we should be much more worried about the guy stocking the freezers at Red Baron.
00:04:31.000 That's a company, for those who don't know, that ships frozen pizza to your local Walmart and then gets sold for five bucks.
00:04:37.000 We should worry about the guy who buys pizza for five bucks.
00:04:40.000 You can't afford it. 1.00
00:04:41.000 Or the employees who provide that pizza, not the whiny Gen Zers filming them and creating medias about stealing their money who want their $22 burrito. 0.99
00:04:50.000 One of these guys is struggling to get by and the other is a spoiled brat and they're not the same. 0.95
00:04:55.000 So I want to take a step back here and talk about Red Baron because if you're talking about how to make people like Walt Z more successful, the answer is you make Red Baron more successful.
00:05:02.000 And Red Baron is how America used to work. 0.76
00:05:06.000 Red Baron was started in 1952 by a 23 year old in Minnesota, somebody closer to the age of the cloud chaser.
00:05:11.000 That person started delivering ice cream door to door.
00:05:14.000 By the 60s, they branched into frozen pizza.
00:05:17.000 By 1970, they bought a small production facility in Kansas to make their own.
00:05:20.000 And 50 years later, it's one of America's biggest frozen pizza brands.
00:05:24.000 In 2022, they reached a billion dollars in annual retail sales and they still manufacture over 100 million pizzas a year in Kansas.
00:05:32.000 And again, this is not food that is being delivered to your door by a new breed striver for $22.
00:05:38.000 A Red Baron pizza cost $3.99 at Kroger and $4.82 at Walmart and under $5 at Target.
00:05:43.000 Did more retail sales than DiGiorno last month.
00:05:46.000 Red Baron as a business should be our focus.
00:05:49.000 How do we make them more successful?
00:05:51.000 Walt as an employee of Red Baron should be our focus.
00:05:54.000 Red Baron's customers should be our focus.
00:05:56.000 But let's just be real about this.
00:05:58.000 Our entire politics, our entire political discussion these days is focused on the $22 burrito influencer kit.
00:06:04.000 Why?
00:06:05.000 Two reasons.
00:06:06.000 First of all, it's really, really easy because you never see Walt Z. He's not spending his days on social media cloud chasing.
00:06:12.000 He's actually out there doing a job.
00:06:15.000 Most of our political class is also closer in personality to the 18 year old cloud chaser than the red baron guy.
00:06:21.000 They're not stocking shelves.
00:06:22.000 They're making social media TikTok videos to try and gain the support of the 18 year olds and go viral on social media.
00:06:28.000 Also, there's an entire cottage industry of political consultants who barely know that the middle aged white guy who stocks the shelves exists.
00:06:36.000 It is why the polls are routinely understating Trump support.
00:06:39.000 Political consultants understand that basically what they do is a form of voodoo.
00:06:45.000 Essentially, they create metrics for their own success.
00:06:49.000 The only way political consultants succeed or fail. Is if their candidate gets elected or doesn't get elected.
00:06:53.000 And they don't know about that until election day.
00:06:54.000 So, in the whole intervening time, they have to look at fake data because there's not a lot of great data on Walty.
00:07:00.000 But you know where there is great data on X?
00:07:02.000 You can see precisely how many people have viewed a particular post.
00:07:06.000 Or they can look at polls, which are all within margin of error.
00:07:08.000 They can look at social media likes and replies.
00:07:10.000 So, political consulting, those are the people, the experts the politicians hire, it's very often just a scam enterprise.
00:07:16.000 You tell your politician that they went viral online, and this is quote unquote a win.
00:07:22.000 And then back to our political class.
00:07:23.000 Who do they have more in common with?
00:07:25.000 The kid walking around with a camera looking for viral moments, or the guy who spends his day loading freezers with frozen pizza before having to get up at five o'clock in the morning and doing it all again?
00:07:33.000 We all know the answer to that question. 0.55
00:07:36.000 The apex predator of the selfie stick generation is actually 65 now, a career useless person we made president. 0.94
00:07:41.000 His name was Barack Obama. 0.65
00:07:43.000 And you'll recall him ripping on the Cheesecake Factory not all that long ago.
00:07:46.000 Again, the reason that matters is just a sort of cultural indicator is because this is always who Barack Obama was.
00:07:51.000 He's a dude who's significantly more likely to spend his evenings at the French laundry. than at the Cheesecake Factory.
00:07:56.000 I gotta say, by the way, the Cheesecake Factory is like a great American company, and it's all in the name.
00:08:01.000 It is a factory that makes cheesecake, which is awesome.
00:08:04.000 It's not some Parisian chef in the back whipping up a specialized cheesecake for $100.
00:08:09.000 It is a factory that industrially makes cheesecake.
00:08:13.000 It's in the name of the restaurant.
00:08:14.000 But Obama doesn't like that because that, of course, is too glucose.
00:08:18.000 It's gauche, you see, according to Barack Obama.
00:08:21.000 He's got the White House looking like Saddam Hussein opened a cheesecake factory.
00:08:28.000 I guarantee you that for Wald and for a lot of people like Wald, the height of luxury is probably taking his family to Cheesecake Factory or Olive Garden.
00:08:35.000 By the way, I just got to say, as somebody who keeps kosher and can't eat at any of these restaurants, they look fabulous.
00:08:41.000 I don't envy eating at sort of the four star Michelin chef restaurants.
00:08:44.000 I envy being able to walk into a cheesecake factory or into an olive garden that has literally an endless bowl of pasta, like eternal pasta, which sounds incredible.
00:08:52.000 That sounds great.
00:08:54.000 Donald Trump reacted to Obama slamming the cheesecake factory, and Obama's response was to basically double down.
00:09:01.000 That was the interesting thing about how the administration responded to the speech I gave the other day.
00:09:08.000 They did not dispute.
00:09:10.000 What I said about them being directly responsible for rising prices, they did not argue with that.
00:09:17.000 They did not deny that terrorists were contributing to higher costs for families.
00:09:23.000 They didn't say anything about that.
00:09:27.000 I accused this administration based on the facts that they were engaging in unprecedented levels of corruption.
00:09:35.000 They didn't say anything about that.
00:09:39.000 The president wasn't even mad.
00:09:42.000 About the Saddam Hussein comparison.
00:09:46.000 That part didn't bother him.
00:09:49.000 But he was very upset about the Cheesecake Factory comments.
00:09:56.000 Well, actually, what he was upset about was the idea that, again, you go after these sort of upscale dining experiences of kind of normie Americans.
00:10:05.000 But again, this is typical.
00:10:07.000 Barack Obama back in 2008 was caught on tape saying that Americans who didn't like him were people who were bitterly clinging to God and guns and xenophobia.
00:10:16.000 People have been beaten down so long and they feel so betrayed by government.
00:10:22.000 It's not surprising then that they get better and they cling to guns or religion or antipathy towards people who aren't like them.
00:10:32.000 A way to explain their frustrations.
00:10:38.000 Now, again, there's a reason why Barack Obama has always targeted, quote unquote, the political youth because he agrees.
00:10:44.000 He's a selfie stick president, he always was.
00:10:46.000 And a huge percentage of Of our current politicians, the DSA being the most obvious indicator, are people who are programming to the 18 year old cloud chaser, not to Walt Z.
00:10:54.000 They like to pretend, by the way, that they're programming to Walt Z because they're leading a revolution of the proletariat.
00:11:00.000 But people like Walt Z are not voting for Bernie Sanders. 1.00
00:11:03.000 It's a bunch of college educated idiots who are voting for Bernie Sanders. 1.00
00:11:07.000 It is not a bunch of blue collar voters who are voting for Bernie Sanders. 1.00
00:11:11.000 Now, if you are building a political coalition, and this goes to the midterm elections and beyond, you need to center that political coalition on more Waltz and even Waltz parents.
00:11:20.000 So again, voting, I've made this argument over the past couple of weeks.
00:11:24.000 Focusing in, both parties focusing in on the 18 to 29 year old vote, that is chimerical.
00:11:30.000 It makes no sense. 1.00
00:11:30.000 It is idiotic. 1.00
00:11:32.000 A recent AARP poll shows that according to the exit polls, 50 plus voters cast 55% of all ballots in 2024, 59% of all ballots in 2022. 0.99
00:11:46.000 More than 6 in 10 turned out in the last midterm in 2022, compared to just 3 in 10 people under 30.
00:11:52.000 Again, young people have always been an overrated part of the American electorate.
00:11:58.000 Middle aged men aged 45 to 64 voted Trump plus seven in 2020.
00:12:02.000 They voted Trump plus 20 in 2024.
00:12:05.000 And that swing accounted for 2.2% of the full electorate in 2024.
00:12:11.000 That was 3.4 million net votes.
00:12:13.000 Those, in other words, are the people that the politicians should be targeting if they had any brains.
00:12:19.000 Gen Z men, who, you know, again, the right keeps focusing in on, voted Biden plus 15 in 2020, Trump plus one in 2024.
00:12:27.000 That gigantic swing represented only about 1.7 million votes.
00:12:32.000 So, like half of what the middle aged audience represented.
00:12:38.000 So, again, Republicans and Democrats are making a gigantic error here.
00:12:44.000 They're focused in on the 18 year olds.
00:12:47.000 If you're on the right, you got to get Theo Vaughn and his Gen Z audience on board.
00:12:52.000 And if you're on the left, you got to keep Call Her Daddy on board.
00:12:54.000 If you're on the left, you got to make sure those X vibes keep on vibing.
00:12:57.000 Well, when you're looking to take care of your family, you need to do responsible things.
00:13:01.000 One of those things is obtaining life insurance.
00:13:03.000 The reality is that, God forbid, something happens to you.
00:13:05.000 You know, your family can't game for your loss, but financially, there are things that you can do to ease the problem.
00:13:12.000 And this is why Policy Genius exists.
00:13:14.000 Their license team helps you understand coverage amounts, prices, and terms.
00:13:17.000 They answer your questions, handle the paperwork, and advocate for you throughout the entire process.
00:13:21.000 Policy Genius has thousands of five star reviews on Google and Trustpilot from customers who found the right policy fit.
00:13:26.000 Life insurance shouldn't be bought by word of mouth.
00:13:28.000 You can just get the best offer possible with Policy Genius.
00:13:30.000 You can find 20 year life insurance policies starting at just $276 a year for a million dollars in coverage.
00:13:36.000 Heading over to policygenius.comslash Shapiro and compare life insurance quotes from top companies.
00:13:40.000 See how much you could save.
00:13:41.000 I have life insurance.
00:13:42.000 My wife has life insurance.
00:13:43.000 Again, it is just the responsible thing for you to do if you have a family, you have dependents, people who count on you.
00:13:49.000 Life insurance is a must.
00:13:51.000 Policy genius is the best way to get it.
00:13:52.000 Heading over to policygenius.comslash Shapiro.
00:13:54.000 Again, that's policygenius.comslash Shapiro.
00:13:58.000 Well, Walt looks like a great employee, you know, somebody who's working hard to do the thing he is supposed to do.
00:14:03.000 You need great employees, but it's hard to find great employees.
00:14:05.000 I mean, really, it is.
00:14:06.000 And this is why Zip Recruiter. is out there.

00:14:38.000 Try it for free right now at ziprecruiter.com slash daily wire.
00:14:49.000 That's ziprecruiter.com.
00:14:57.000 Okay, what the cloud chaser in this video is doing is obviously immoral.
00:15:06.000 It's immoral walking up to anyone.
00:15:08.000 I don't care if you're rich, poor.
00:15:10.000 I don't care if you're the white collar executive or if you're the blue collar guy stocking shelves at the Walmart. 0.98
00:15:15.000 Walking up to somebody and pretending to steal money from them is disgusting and wrong, obviously. 0.74
00:15:19.000 That is not a prank. 0.87
00:15:20.000 It's a piece of delinquency.
00:15:22.000 And what's driving all of this?
00:15:24.000 Morality, social media, a need for attention, boredom.
00:15:28.000 These people don't have real jobs, and they don't really think they need real jobs, apparently.
00:15:34.000 They don't have kids yet.
00:15:35.000 Many of them never intend on having them.
00:15:36.000 And what the polls show is that fewer young people than any time in literally all of history now plan on having children.
00:15:42.000 And we've now trained entire generations of Americans to be this way.
00:15:47.000 If you have sympathy for Walt Z, it's because he has four kids.
00:15:52.000 It makes you a better and more responsible human being to have children and have responsibilities.
00:15:52.000 And guess what?
00:15:57.000 Walt Z is a better person than the person who's pretending to take money from him for clout.
00:16:03.000 And yet, we've built an entire society around the idea that we should be apathetic about these concerns.
00:16:07.000 An entire entertainment sphere has been created around this.
00:16:10.000 So, yesterday, Nikki Glazer, who is a comedian, she was on a podcast with Kylie Kelsey.
00:16:17.000 And she joked about motherhood and comparing it to heroin.
00:16:21.000 It's because that's a great feeling to feel the love that you have for your child.
00:16:25.000 It's a feeling I've heard of and it sounds so good.
00:16:29.000 And I might not get to feel it.
00:16:31.000 And sometimes I get bummed out by that.
00:16:32.000 I'm like, is this a human life worth living to not feel that great love?
00:16:36.000 And then I think about, you know, you don't get to feel every feeling in life that's good, you know?
00:16:42.000 Like, I also have no plans on doing heroin.
00:16:45.000 Like, I hear that feeling's pretty great.
00:16:48.000 I hear it might be better than the kid feeling, to be honest with you.
00:16:52.000 Because I know people who have kids who do heroin and they're like, kid Schmidt, like, leave them in the car.
00:16:58.000 Let's go get more heroin.
00:17:00.000 Okay, well, she now admits that that kind of joke, now she's feeling it.
00:17:05.000 Again, we taught entire generations of people to be the influencer, social clout chasing person, the irresponsible person.
00:17:14.000 And here's Nikki Glazer now admitting, oh, that was a mistake.
00:17:16.000 When I wrote that joke, I was still like in my 30s, and it's like, maybe I could, but now I'm 42, and it's like the window, the door is closed.
00:17:24.000 I didn't freeze my eggs.
00:17:25.000 It's not like having my own kids is not something that my body is interested in doing, even accidentally, you know?
00:17:32.000 So it's not going to happen for me.
00:17:34.000 I mean, I'm open to adoption and things like that, but it's to have your own.
00:17:39.000 It's a sad thing to say goodbye to, even if you never wanted it.
00:17:42.000 And it's something that I'm like dealing with.
00:17:44.000 Well, yes.
00:17:45.000 I mean, and if people had actually engaged in the proper raising of children, then we wouldn't have this.
00:17:52.000 Meaning, it is not a matter of moral apathy on a societal level to tell people it is better for you to get married and have kids.
00:17:59.000 It is better for you and it is better for society for you to get married and have kids.
00:17:59.000 It is.
00:18:02.000 Now, again, there are some people for whom this is an obstacle.
00:18:04.000 I'm not talking about that.
00:18:05.000 I'm not talking about people who have infertility problems.
00:18:07.000 I'm not talking about people who have been abused.
00:18:09.000 That's not what I'm talking about here.
00:18:11.000 When you set a general societal standard, On how you turn an 18 year old clout chaser, a useless person, into a useful person.
00:18:18.000 The answer is marriage and children.
00:18:19.000 But instead, we've crafted an entire society around the idea that this is a matter of, at best, moral apathy and, at worst, sinfulness.
00:18:28.000 Nikki Glazer says, Childless women cheer for her on this podcast.
00:18:32.000 Sometimes when I talk about I didn't have kids on stage, like childless women are like, oh, and I'm like, I'm just kind of like, let's calm down with that.
00:18:40.000 Like, I just think that because I don't look at myself as like I'm a poster child for like, you didn't choose to be a mom.
00:18:47.000 Go get it, girl.
00:18:48.000 Get your career.
00:18:49.000 It just, it's not like I chose a career over having kids.
00:18:52.000 It really, it never occurred to me to have kids.
00:18:55.000 It's just, it just was never a thing that ever even fluttered into my brain, even once.
00:19:01.000 Like it just never presented itself.
00:19:03.000 And so it's not like I'm like pushing it down and I'm choosing this.
00:19:07.000 It just wasn't like a flow along the way.
00:19:12.000 I mean, well, typically speaking, that is a result of bad parenting because it should occur to your children from the time they're very young that getting married and having children.
00:19:19.000 Is the thing that you ought to do as a human being.
00:19:21.000 I mean, that's something we owe it to the next generation to pass on.
00:19:26.000 Like all my children, except for literally the baby who is not capable of speaking, they all understand, including the three year old, that the future is going to be getting married and having children because this is what it means to raise children.
00:19:38.000 You're talking about that kind of stuff constantly.
00:19:40.000 And yes, it is good.
00:19:41.000 And yes, it is a matter for parents to teach their children.
00:19:44.000 We haven't done that. 0.97
00:19:45.000 And so we have a generation of useless people who we're supposed to now cater to. 0.95
00:19:50.000 Or at least a huge swath. 0.99
00:19:51.000 I don't say all of them, but a huge swath of young people who are useless and we're supposed to cater to them. 0.98
00:19:55.000 And then there's Walt. 1.00
00:19:56.000 So, Walt is, by his own description, a working class guy with four kids.
00:20:01.000 He is not, as we say, the seabed of the revolution, right?
00:20:03.000 We're being told that the upswing in socialism is coming from Walt.
00:20:06.000 It is not.
00:20:07.000 He is not, at least by the average polling data, the guy who wants the American healthcare system torn all the way to the ground or who wants a socialist Momdani revolution.
00:20:15.000 He's not watching Abdul El Sayed doing TikTok dances or agreeing with Abdul El Sayed that America is the problem in the world.
00:20:21.000 He just wants the American life.
00:20:23.000 He wants to work a job, make a little more money every month, get some time off, have some upward mobility, spend more time with his family and his kids.
00:20:30.000 So, the question in American politics has always been how do we make that easier?
00:20:35.000 Now, historically speaking, there have been two approaches in American politics.
00:20:39.000 One sounds good verbally and always fails in the long term, and the other sounds not as good and always succeeds in the long term.
00:20:45.000 Approach number one is bigger government, more regulation, more unionization, more intervention, more subsidization.
00:20:51.000 And it sounds great because it sounds easy.
00:20:54.000 You want more money?
00:20:55.000 Well, the Democrats just print you more money and then they give it to you.
00:20:59.000 Or they force your employer to do so, or they yell at your employer.
00:21:02.000 And then, if your employer doesn't give you anything, then they yell your employer some more.
00:21:06.000 That doesn't work.
00:21:07.000 It craters business, it destroys economies, it incentivizes fraud.
00:21:11.000 So, we've tried this approach over the course of the past several generations, particularly since the 60s.
00:21:16.000 And what that has resulted in is a federal debt that now exceeds 100% of gross domestic product for the first time since the end of World War II.
00:21:26.000 The federal government, according to the Wall Street Journal, had previously reported that the publicly held debt as of September 30th was $32.2 trillion.
00:21:36.000 With the release of economic output for third quarter Thursday, that figure equaled 100% of gross domestic product over the fiscal year.
00:21:42.000 And the outlook is even rougher.
00:21:44.000 Social Security is projected to reach insolvency in 2032.
00:21:47.000 That triggers automatic benefit cuts unless Congress acts to either raise taxes or restructure the program.
00:21:53.000 Net interest costs are projected to climb by more than 1% of GDP over the next decade.
00:21:58.000 According to the CBO, we are now paying more on our interest on the debt than we pay on our defense budget.
00:22:03.000 And by the way, this also results in inflation because.
00:22:06.000 If the government owes a bunch of money to other people and that debt gets paid in American dollars, one way to get out of that dilemma is to inflate the currency and pay back with cheaper dollars, which obviously impacts people who are working on a wage.
00:22:21.000 So things that sound great in theory, in practice, suck.
00:22:25.000 You're seeing the same thing happen all over the political landscape for Democrats.
00:22:29.000 In Philadelphia, for example, Mayor Sherelle Parker is now proposing a subprime mortgage program.
00:22:33.000 Again, these are things we've tried before and they have failed and not only failed, they've created the economy.
00:22:38.000 This model, thank you for affirming Massachusetts.
00:22:41.000 It is the only state with a program like this, and Philadelphia will be the first city in the nation to unveil it.
00:22:49.000 Imagine getting a mortgage, a 30 year commitment with no PMI, so no private mortgage insurance, and we have in essence brought down the interest rates.
00:23:01.000 But here is the part that's extremely important for the banking industry.
00:23:07.000 The city of Philadelphia has created what we reference as a loan loss.
00:23:11.000 Reserve.
00:23:12.000 And so we need Philadelphians who have less than perfect credit to be able to qualify.
00:23:18.000 So if you have a credit score of 620, we want you to the Lindy industry, banking industry to say, hey, we'll take this risk, but the city of Philadelphia proper shoulders it.
00:23:32.000 Again, this is always the democratic platform.
00:23:34.000 It is what if the city absorbs the cost and then everything craters?
00:23:38.000 This is exactly what we do with subprime mortgages throughout the 2000s.
00:23:41.000 What if we just give people who won't be able to pay back their mortgage mortgages, and then it turns out that they get upside down on their house and they just abandon their house, and then the entire economy craters?
00:23:51.000 We've done this before. 0.61
00:23:53.000 The Al Sayed campaign is openly admitting taxes are going to have to radically increase to pay for quote unquote Medicare for all.
00:24:00.000 Will taxes go up under Medicare for all?
00:24:02.000 Well, certainly.
00:24:04.000 But complex is the question.
00:24:05.000 I don't know if you even know what that answer is.
00:24:07.000 And neither does Abdul.
00:24:08.000 If we go to Abdul's Medicare for all book that he published in 2020, I've read it.
00:24:13.000 A good chunk of it.
00:24:15.000 That book is a Canadian style single payer system.
00:24:20.000 And what that means is that in Canada, the government, there are private health care providers, but the government is the insurance plan.
00:24:28.000 Abdul's book is a Canadian style where there are no, it's illegal to set up a different healthcare system.
00:24:35.000 And what that does is it forces everybody on one system.
00:24:38.000 And ostensibly, it means that you have the widest purchasing power because you have collective bargaining and you're forcing all of the people with means onto the same plan.
00:24:49.000 So if they want it to be good for them, they need to advocate to make sure it's good for everyone.
00:24:52.000 Well, what does that really mean?
00:24:54.000 It means you don't get to pick your doctor, you don't get to pick your healthcare, and your taxes go up.
00:24:58.000 That's what we're talking about here.
00:24:59.000 Everything that always sounds good in the mouth of Democrats turns out to be horrible.
00:25:02.000 In actual practice.
00:25:04.000 And by the way, incentivizes everything from illegal immigration to tremendous fraud.
00:25:08.000 Speaking of illegal immigration, Abdul El Sayed himself says that under his Medicare for All plan, people who enter the country illegally will be paid for by the American taxpayer. 0.66
00:25:17.000 Should undocumented folks be eligible for federal health care plans?
00:25:22.000 So we want to make sure that, you know, to me, if you pay in, then the program's there for you, if you pay in, right? 0.97
00:25:28.000 So undocumented or documented.
00:25:30.000 It's about if you pay in.
00:25:30.000 But here's the thing I want to get to a world where there's not a conversation about undocumented, everybody has a pathway forward.
00:25:35.000 But there is.
00:25:36.000 I get it.
00:25:37.000 And my point is just this.
00:25:37.000 I get it.
00:25:39.000 If you are paying into the system, right, the idea is that the system is there if you pay in, right, you paid in.
00:25:45.000 Okay.
00:25:46.000 Okay.
00:25:47.000 So just going to point out again, this is the result of Democratic programs.
00:25:52.000 And they're not designed for the blue collar person.
00:25:54.000 They lie and they say there are, but they definitely are not.
00:25:56.000 The programs incentivize fraud, they incentivize inflation, they incentivize debt.
00:26:00.000 That's what they do.
00:26:02.000 And they kill, by the way, the very businesses that people like Walt Z works for.
00:26:05.000 There won't be an employee of the month if Democrats had their way.
00:26:09.000 In terms of industrial regulation, for example.
00:26:11.000 What an amazing video you just watched.
00:26:13.000 Wasn't that amazing?
00:26:14.000 Well, you know, if you think so, head on over to dailywire.comslash subscribe to watch the full show ad free or check out this crazy story here.
00:26:23.000 Father, I used to feel Christ.
00:26:28.000 I cannot feel anything here.
00:26:41.000 They take me out of my bed and they brought me here and they tell me nothing.
00:26:45.000 What have I done?
00:26:46.000 Article 58, counter revolutionary activity.
00:26:50.000 That is all I know.
00:26:51.000 They have to deal with so many enemies of the state, all of whom claim their innocence, who protest, who cry.
00:27:06.000 There are no answers here Other than the ones they put in your mouth you'll break Today is your opportunity to demonstrate your loyalty to the people I'd like to know why I'm here of course But you already know don't you must believe in something greater than the party You will remember your duty.
00:27:35.000 I've told you I know nothing Leave ground like a feral animal. 0.99
00:27:41.000 You stink of failure. 1.00
00:27:43.000 You want me to lie? 1.00
00:27:44.000 Still a drunk. 1.00
00:27:45.000 Damn you! 1.00
00:27:48.000 They all break. 1.00
00:27:52.000 Maybe.
