Summary

Summaries generated with gmurro/bart-large-finetuned-filtered-spotify-podcast-summ .

Del Cameron has been suspended from Twitter for soliciting hacked materials from the person who hacked Matt Walsh's phone. This is not remotely the same thing as the hacking of Hunter Biden's laptop, which was covered up for years by the New York Post and then became public knowledge when it was leaked to the public by an anonymous hacker. And yet, this is just another day in the life of Matt Walsh, who has been targeted by the far-left for his opposition to the progressive agenda of the Democratic National Committee and other establishment media outlets. Matt Walsh has been the subject of numerous death threats, and has had to hire a full-time security guard on his house in order to protect himself and his family from the increasing number of threats he receives from the far left. Matt's show has now been demonetized on YouTube, and he is now broadcasting his entire show for free on Daily Wire Plus, which means he will no longer be able to do his show on the network's most popular streaming platform, YouTube, where he can be watched by millions of people across the world. This is just the latest in a growing list of scandals involving the right-wing commentator Matt Walsh and his show, and it's no surprise that he's been the target of death threats and cyber-harassment from far-Left extremists across the political spectrum, including the Daily Wire and other media outlets such as The New York Times, CNN, NBC, CBS, and the Daily Show with John Avril Lavigne. and the BBC, among other outlets, among others. Today's After Show is hosted by Daily Wire's Peter Bergen and Jeremy Boring, and hosted by Alex Blumbergen, and features Matt Walsh on his new book, "Hacking Matt Walsh." and Matt's new podcast, "The Truth or Falsehoods." and more! 00:00:00.000 Alrighty, so we begin with updates on my friend Matt Walsh.
00:00:03.000 So as you know, Matt Walsh had his phone hacked.
00:00:06.000 He actually had his SIM card duplicated.
00:00:09.000 The suggestion is that somebody actually got access to either Matt's phone directly or somebody called up the phone company, got a duplicate SIM card sent to him.
00:00:17.000 This person was then able to access All of Matt's emails for the last 20 years or so and it appears that things are now under control to the extent that he's no longer being hacked.
00:00:29.000 But one of the pieces of fallout from all of this is that a reporter, a supposed reporter, a pseudo reporter from Wired has now been permanently suspended from Twitter.
00:00:38.000 And the reason he was permanently suspended from Twitter is because He had actively solicited hacked materials from the person who was hacking Matt's phone.
00:00:48.000 He literally, like, asked, just asked for the materials.
00:00:52.000 He tweeted out, spoke with a hacker who says he compromised Matt Walsh's account and who was able to supply some convincing proof they'd gained access to his personal email account.
00:00:58.000 Story to come.
00:00:59.000 And that followed after he had suggested that he actively wanted it.
00:01:05.000 They got into everything.
00:01:06.000 And then he said, prove me wrong, kids.
00:01:07.000 Send Matt Walsh DMs to dellcameron at wired.com.
00:01:11.000 Well, this violates pretty much all of Twitter's rules.
00:01:14.000 You're not allowed to solicit hacked materials from people.
00:01:17.000 You're not allowed to ask people to do a hack.
00:01:21.000 So he was permanently suspended and this led to NBC's Ben Collins spreading misinformation, this is what he does, about the suspension of the Wired writer, suggesting that what happened here in the suspension, the permanent suspension, of Del Cameron is the same thing that happened when the Hunter Biden story was silenced by all of social media in October of 2020.
00:01:40.000 That is a lie.
00:01:42.000 What happened with Hunter Biden is that Hunter Biden literally left his laptop at a repair shop, a computer repair shop, For years on end, at which point it became property of the shop, and then those materials ended up in the public view and were reported on by the New York Post.
00:01:56.000 That is not remotely the same thing as the New York Post actually soliciting hacked materials in criminal fashion.
00:02:01.000 There may be actual criminal liability, certainly for the hacker.
00:02:03.000 We'll see about for any reporter who is involved in actually soliciting this sort of activity.
00:02:08.000 This is not the only challenge that Matt is facing at present.
00:02:12.000 Apparently, YouTube has now demonetized Matt's show entirely.
00:02:16.000 And this means that Matt is now going to be shifting his show to Twitter.
00:02:20.000 He's going to be broadcasting his entire show on Twitter now.
00:02:22.000 He's also going to be broadcasting his entire show for free over at dailywireplus.com.
00:02:25.000 So you should go over there and to support Matt's show, you should actually become a member at dailywireplus.com.
00:02:30.000 But this is just part and parcel, unfortunately, of what it means to be a prominent right-wing commentator in the United States these days.
00:02:37.000 This is what comes along with this.
00:02:38.000 Matt spoke last night, for example, at University of Iowa, and far-extremists, far-left extremists, actually took marbles.
00:02:43.000 They lost their marbles.
00:02:44.000 Literally, they took marbles and rolled them all over the floor in an attempt to get people to slip and fall as they were walking into the talk.
00:02:51.000 Of course, Matt has been the victim of an extraordinary number of death threats.
00:02:56.000 He's had to have full-time security on his house.
00:02:57.000 He's had to actually cancel trips in order to protect his family.
00:03:01.000 This is unfortunately what it means to now oppose the far-left agenda and do so very publicly and attempt to effectuate change.
00:03:09.000 It's hard to think of anybody in American life who's effectuated more change in the last couple of years than Matt Walsh has.
00:03:14.000 My co-founder here at Daily Wire, Jeremy Boring.
00:03:18.000 He tweeted out a thread last night that's worth going through.
00:03:21.000 He said, I don't know.
00:03:21.000 I'm sure I said things in my 20s.
00:03:22.000 his Twitter account hacked last night, what you might not know is the attack went well beyond Twitter.
00:03:26.000 The hackers have managed to gain access to, well, everything, including 20 years of Matt's emails.
00:03:30.000 What scandalous information will the hackers find in Matt's email?
00:03:32.000 I don't know.
00:03:33.000 I'm sure I said things in my 20s.
00:03:34.000 I wouldn't feel great about having aired publicly.
00:03:36.000 What will Daily Wire's response to be, be to things 20-year-old Matt may have said?
00:03:41.000 Hashtag LOL.
00:03:42.000 This hack, as terrible and invasive as it is, is just another day at the office for us.
00:03:45.000 Here's a brief look at just the last 48 hours at Daily Wire.
00:03:48.000 First, Matt Walsh was demonetized on YouTube for violating some opaque, arbitrarily applied standard or another related to speaking the biological truth about Dylan Mulvaney.
00:03:55.000 I can't be more specific because the capriciousness is the point for these platforms.
00:03:58.000 Just 24 hours later, Brett Cooper was permanently banned from TikTok.
00:04:02.000 Her crime?
00:04:03.000 We don't know, because again, the capriciousness is the point.
00:04:05.000 We literally reached out to TikTok.
00:04:07.000 They have no idea.
00:04:08.000 They're certainly not telling us why Brett Cooper was banned permanently from TikTok.
00:04:12.000 At the exact moment that Matt Walsh was being hacked by criminals, Michael Knowles was being evacuated from University of Pittsburgh because of a violent riot protesting his speech in which trans activists and sundry other leftists burned Michael in effigy and tussled with police.
00:04:24.000 That's the last 48 hours.
00:04:27.000 He says tech giants like YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, and until Elon Musk were to check Twitter, flagging, banning, throttling, shadowbanning, and demonetizing us is a constant occurrence.
00:04:34.000 We're continually fact-checked.
00:04:36.000 Almost all the fact-checks are removed on appeal, by the way, but not before they have the desired effect of stunting our reach and effectiveness and making it impossible to earn revenue.
00:04:42.000 Billionaire-funded nonprofits like Media Matters for America pay people to post out-of-context clips from our show and pressure advertisers not to spend money with us.
00:04:49.000 The entire ad industry creates bogus, euphemistic policies to, quote-unquote, protect brand safety by discouraging advertising on shows with controversial political opinions.
00:04:57.000 If you're openly pro-choice, that's not controversial.
00:04:59.000 If you're pro-life, that is, which means we don't get any so-called brand advertisers, the ones who pay almost double.
00:05:05.000 If we were on the left and our positions were certified brand safe, we would make almost twice as much money.
00:05:10.000 The advertisers we do get have to be brave enough to stand up against all of the organized pressure that comes their way.
00:05:14.000 And all this comes, as Jeremy points out, while dealing with organizations like HubSpot and JW Player and Eventbrite and other back-end infrastructure companies who take our money and then decide they're not going to service us.
00:05:27.000 Why do they hate us?
00:05:28.000 They hate us because we won't do what they say.
00:05:30.000 The fact is that Daily Wire, and this is true, the majority controlling interest in this company is held by me, that'd be Ben Shapiro and Jeremy Boring and Caleb Robinson.
00:05:38.000 The three of us own the controlling share of Daily Wire.
00:05:41.000 No investor, no board of directors can tell us what to do.
00:05:44.000 And we're not going to let the machinations of the left force our hand.
00:05:48.000 We're going to use our power to push for change on all of these platforms and to hold these institutions accountable.
00:05:55.000 We'll press our claims in court through government with the public.
00:05:58.000 But the fact is that this is the challenge that the right is up against in the public sphere, and Matt is just the latest canary in the coal mine for how the left would act if they had total power in the United States.
00:06:09.000 In just one second, we'll get to an extraordinary and shocking dichotomy between how Joe Biden treats victims of gun crime.
00:06:16.000 We'll get to that momentarily first.
00:06:17.000 It's time to talk to you about DailyWire's most trusted privacy partner and premier sponsor of my show, ExpressVPN.
00:06:21.000 So ExpressVPN, one of the places I use to help keep my phone safe.
00:06:25.000 For example, are you aware your browsing data is constantly being tracked and monitored?
00:06:28.000 Have you ever stopped to think about who has access to that information, what they might be doing with it?
00:06:32.000 If you're like most people, you probably haven't given this a ton of thought.
00:06:34.000 The truth is your browsing data can reveal a lot about you, your interests, habits, locations, even your identity.
00:06:39.000 Every time you visit a website, click on a link, or make a purchase online, you're leaving a digital trail that can be monetized by advertisers and data brokers.
00:06:46.000 They use that information to target you with ads and promotions tailored specifically to you.
00:06:49.000 The more data they have, the more accurately they can target you.
00:06:51.000 This is just one of the reasons I use ExpressVPN.
00:06:54.000 ExpressVPN encrypts my internet traffic, hides my browsing data from prying eyes, which makes it way more difficult for anybody to intercept my data or track my activity online.
00:07:01.000 From hackers, to the ad agencies, to big tech, to the government.
00:07:06.000 I love ExpressVPN.
00:07:06.000 It's really easy to use.
00:07:08.000 You click one button, it's on your phone, on your computer.
00:07:10.000 You click another button, it is ready to go.
00:07:12.000 Secure your online activity by visiting expressvpn.com slash ben today.
00:07:15.000 That's e-x-p-r-e-s-s-v-p-n dot com slash ben.
00:07:17.000 You can get an extra three months for free.
00:07:19.000 Expressvpn.com slash ben.
00:07:21.000 Okay, so, meanwhile, in national news, the President of the United States has now invited Ralph Yarle to the White House.
00:07:30.000 He tweeted out an invitation to Ralph- Ralph Yarle, for those who have missed it.
00:07:33.000 Well, you must have been under a rock, because the President of the United States has now invited him to the White House.
00:07:38.000 What did Ralph Yarle do?
00:07:39.000 Now, maybe Ralph Yarle deserves, like, as a person, to visit the White House, but not for the reason why he's being invited to the White House.
00:07:45.000 He's being invited to the White House because he got shot by a white guy.
00:07:48.000 He's a 16-year-old black kid, and he knocked on the wrong door, and an 84-year-old crazed homeowner, apparently, shot him twice through the door. 0.82
00:07:55.000 Shot him once in the head and once in the arm. 0.87
00:07:58.000 And because he is black, and because the shooter is white, Ralph Yarle gets a White House invite. 0.99
00:08:05.000 Apparently.
00:08:06.000 The teenager is also set to meet with the mother of Ahmed Arbery.
00:08:10.000 You remember Ahmed Arbery?
00:08:11.000 He is the black Georgian who was jogging through the neighborhood or alternatively running from some sort of empty lot, like a house under construction.
00:08:22.000 And he was confronted by some white guys in a truck who attempted to block his pathway.
00:08:27.000 They struggled over a gun and then he got shot.
00:08:29.000 And those guys are in jail for first degree murder.
00:08:33.000 Well, now they're meeting together to talk about, you know, the inherent racism of American society, presumably, and all the rest of this.
00:08:40.000 And Joe Biden tweeted out about all of this.
00:08:43.000 Joe Biden has decided that Ralph Yarle should visit the White House.
00:08:46.000 It's just a very moving display from the President of the United States.
00:08:51.000 His tweet is, you know, typical Joe Biden.
00:08:55.000 He suggests about gun violence, but really we know that this is about race because there are certain people he's not inviting to the White House.
00:09:01.000 I mean, for example, some of the people he's inviting to the White House to talk about gun violence, not the families of the actual victims of the national shooter who shot a bunch of Christian kids.
00:09:10.000 Those families still have not been invited.
00:09:13.000 The people who have been invited are, of course, the Tennessee Three.
00:09:16.000 According to the New York Post, President Biden has invited the three Tennessee Democrats who faced expulsion votes to the White House.
00:09:22.000 A day after two of them were ousted from the state legislation for protesting against gun violence.
00:09:27.000 This goes back to about a week and a half ago.
00:09:30.000 The White House still, at that point, had not invited any of the families of the victims in the Covenant school shooting.
00:09:37.000 And that happens to be the case still. 0.99
00:09:39.000 So people who get invited to the White House include people like Justin Jones and Justin Pearson, two of the three, Tennessee three, grandstanding racial conflagrationist idiots in Tennessee. 0.99
00:09:51.000 And also, Ralph Yarle, a black victim of a white shooter, All of this, of course, is because of race. 0.99
00:09:59.000 This is the rule in the White House. 0.59
00:10:01.000 The narrative for the White House is that if you are a minority in the United States, you are inherently victimized by the white supremacist system.
00:10:07.000 And therefore, if we can use you as sort of the case par exemplar, that this is going to be the case that shows that our agenda is real, you will get an invite to the White House.
00:10:19.000 If it's not, well, we don't care about you at that point.
00:10:22.000 And Corinne Jean-Pierre was asked directly about this.
00:10:24.000 She's like, so why is it that the national victims still haven't been invited, but pretty much everybody else is being, so long as they have the right color?
00:10:30.000 She has no answer.
00:10:31.000 So Monday, you're going to have three of the lawmakers who protested.
00:10:36.000 Peacefully protested.
00:10:38.000 Who peacefully protested after the Nashville Covenant School shooting.
00:10:43.000 Have any of the victims or the victims' families been invited to the White House?
00:10:47.000 I don't have anything to read out to you about any invite.
00:10:50.000 Why?
00:10:51.000 I just don't have anything at this time to read out to you at any invite.
00:10:54.000 What I can say to you right now is that the president is focused on getting things done.
00:11:03.000 He's focused on getting things done. 0.99
00:11:04.000 Yes, getting things done means inviting a couple of grandstanding morons from Tennessee, cosplaying the revolution, and also inviting a 16-year-old black kid who got shot by a white homeowner. 0.99
00:11:14.000 That's getting things done. 1.00
00:11:16.000 See, that's how it works in the White House.
00:11:17.000 Getting things done is grandstanding.
00:11:19.000 It is the same thing.
00:11:20.000 It is grandstanding.
00:11:22.000 All because it ties into the agenda.
00:11:24.000 Yarle's family attorney, he says that what they really need to push for is legislation in Missouri to protect blackness.
00:11:31.000 Here is the family attorney for Ralph Yarle.
00:11:34.000 White 84-year-old man charged with shooting and wounding a black teenager last week in Kansas City, Missouri, freed last night on bond, due in court today.
00:11:41.000 We need new legislation to protect blackness in this country because blackness is under attack. 1.00
00:11:47.000 What is this case about?
00:11:48.000 It's a case about blackness. 0.98
00:11:49.000 Lee Maritz, the attorney for Tina Ralph-Yarl's family, called it a hate crime.
00:11:55.000 Oh, blackness is under attack. 0.93
00:11:57.000 Now, as we've discussed a couple of days ago, we went through all the statistics on interracial violence in the United States with regard to black and white. 0.97
00:12:04.000 In 2019, 84% of all violent crimes committed between blacks and whites was committed by blacks against whites.
00:12:10.000 But we don't talk about any of that sort of stuff because it's uncomfortable. 1.00
00:12:13.000 So instead, we have to promote the agenda, which is why, again, Joe Biden is inviting idiots. 1.00
00:12:17.000 And they really are. 1.00
00:12:18.000 They're intensely stupid people, like Justin Jones in Tennessee. 1.00
00:12:22.000 So Justin Jones, There's a person who deserves to go to the White House. 1.00
00:12:25.000 Well, why?
00:12:26.000 Well, because he's the kind of person who shows up at the Tennessee State Capitol with a fake child's coffin.
00:12:30.000 Carrying a fake child's coffin.
00:12:32.000 Which is not there to signify, you know, the Dead children and abortions, obviously.
00:12:39.000 No, no, no.
00:12:40.000 That's there to signify the kids at Covenant School whose families Joe Biden will not invite to the White House.
00:12:46.000 It's just grandstanding of the highest and most disgusting order.
00:12:48.000 I mean, literally carrying around the graves of children to pretend that you are somehow morally virtuous.
00:12:56.000 And meanwhile, calling everybody else racist. 0.87
00:12:57.000 It's just gross. 0.94
00:12:58.000 It's just gross.
00:12:59.000 Here we go.
00:13:00.000 You can walk with me, but this is... You have a right to bring this in.
00:13:08.000 Well, I mean, you don't have a right to bring props, so far as I'm aware, onto the floor of the house.
00:13:13.000 I'm bringing this in as a representative of my district's 78,000 people who sent me here.
00:13:21.000 No other members told what they can bring into this building.
00:13:25.000 You all are going to have to go up.
00:13:26.000 First of all, we're not being allowed to go up.
00:13:28.000 You cannot.
00:13:30.000 You can't remember.
00:13:32.000 I have my badge here.
00:13:34.000 And I'm a guest.
00:13:36.000 And he's coming to the house floor. You can call the sergeant in the hall.
00:13:39.000 I mean, really gross.
00:13:40.000 And by the way, has anybody asked the families of the victims whether they are okay with Justin Jones carrying graves to symbolize, like, actual coffins, child-sized coffins to symbolize their kids?
00:13:49.000 Has anybody asked that?
00:13:50.000 You know if this were somebody on the right doing this, there'd be people at the family's house asking those questions.
00:13:54.000 It's somebody on the left.
00:13:54.000 But it's not.
00:13:55.000 And it's a black man from the left who's doing this, which means the media don't ask any questions. 0.75
00:13:58.000 This person is obviously a hero.
00:14:00.000 And Justin Jones then says, he signs off on the, signs into the Ralph Yarle debate too.
00:14:05.000 He says, well, you know, if Ralph Yarle had been white, then things would have been totally different.
00:14:09.000 Here we go.
00:14:11.000 Say Ralph to Ralph who's 16 that you are a child and you are a young man who we should have protected and that this system has failed to protect that our politics have failed to protect and you deserve better than that and that no gun is worth your life no bullet no worship of this gun culture is worth your life and your well-being and so I hope that you recover and and
00:14:35.000 I hope that his family knows that we stand with them and that we're sending them strength and encouragement from Tennessee, whether from here or there, you know, that we stand together and that we are going to do this and that until this attack against a young black man is treated as abhorrent, as the attack if it was a young white man, that we who believe in freedom cannot rest until it comes.
00:15:00.000 What?
00:15:01.000 The guy who shot him is going to go to jail for the rest of his life and should go to jail for the rest of his life.
00:15:06.000 But again, this all ties into the broader lie. 0.98
00:15:08.000 It is a lie that America is a white supremacist country that is inherently victimizing black people. 0.97
00:15:12.000 That's what this is about. 0.86
00:15:13.000 But I'm going to tell you the story of a person who is going to get no White House calls.
00:15:16.000 Somebody who's not going to get any coverage on MSNBC.
00:15:19.000 Somebody for whom no one will speak.
00:15:21.000 There's a very obvious reason why this person is not going to be.
00:15:24.000 We're going to mention his name on the show.
00:15:25.000 You're not going to know it tomorrow because the media are going to stop saying it.
00:15:28.000 Because this is not an important person.
00:15:30.000 The way we can tell whether somebody is important in the mainstream media is whether it fits the narrative or if it doesn't fit the narrative. 0.91
00:15:35.000 You know the names of black victims of white perps. 0.96
00:15:38.000 You know their names. 0.89
00:15:39.000 You know Arbery's name.
00:15:41.000 You know George Floyd's name.
00:15:43.000 You know Ralph Yarl's name.
00:15:45.000 I'll tell you a name that you're not going to know.
00:15:48.000 Before I say it, and then not much after I say it, because the media don't care about people like this.
00:15:52.000 We'll get to that momentarily.
00:15:54.000 First, let's talk about the fact that there are a lot of big wireless companies out there, and they lock you into these horrendous contracts.
00:15:59.000 And then when you try to get out of them early, they tack on these giant charges to punish you.
00:16:02.000 You don't really need that.
00:16:03.000 Instead, you need to switch over to PeerTalk the way that I did.
00:16:06.000 There are no hidden fees, no contracts, no hassle.
00:16:08.000 PeerTalk has a range of affordable plans to choose from.
00:16:10.000 You can find the perfect option for your needs, like unlimited talk, text, plenty of data for just $30 a month.
00:16:14.000 Pure Talk saves the average family over $900 a year.
00:16:17.000 Think about what you could do with that money.
00:16:18.000 But you don't get chief inconsistent service.
00:16:21.000 With Pure Talk, you're getting the same exact coverage you'd get from one of the big guys because they use the same tower network at half the rate you are currently paying.
00:16:27.000 Again, I use PeerTalk.
00:16:28.000 Their 5G service is really fast.
00:16:30.000 It doesn't drop my calls.
00:16:31.000 customer service team helped me make the switch in as little as 10 minutes.
00:16:31.000 PeerTalk's U.S.
00:16:34.000 I was even able to keep my phone number.
00:16:35.000 Not only will you save money, you'll also get the satisfaction of knowing you're supporting a great American company.
00:16:40.000 The CEO and chairman of PeerTalk is a U.S.
00:16:41.000 military veteran.
00:16:42.000 When you become a PeerTalk customer, you're given the option to support America's Warrior Partnership.
00:16:46.000 It's an organization that works to support Okay, so now I'm going to tell you a story.
00:16:58.000 It's a story that you don't know and you're not going to hear again, probably for the rest of time.
00:17:02.000 Because, again, it doesn't fit the narrative and that's all that matters to our media.
00:17:06.000 This is not a hero of the Republic in the way that Ralph Yarle is now a hero.
00:17:09.000 Again, Ralph Yarle sounds like kind of an extraordinary kid, but he should be celebrated because he's an extraordinary kid, not because he got shot by an old white guy.
00:17:18.000 But that's not the way it works.
00:17:19.000 So here's a person who, again, you'll never hear of again.
00:17:22.000 His name is Blake Mose.
00:17:23.000 Hey, Blake Mose is a Home Depot security guard.
00:17:27.000 And as the New York Post reports, a California Home Depot security guard and Boy Scout leader was murdered Tuesday when he tried to stop a woman from stealing an electrical item before she and her boyfriend fled with their toddler in the back of the car.
00:17:40.000 Blake Mose, 26, caught Benicia Knapps allegedly in the process of snatching what may have been a phone charger from the store shelves around 2.15 p.m., according to Pleasanton Police.
00:17:47.000 A struggle ensued after Mose chased her to the store's loading dock, but Knapps fired her gun and ran off, cops allege.
00:17:54.000 Knapps, 32, allegedly escaped into a getaway car driven by her boyfriend, David Guillory, 31, with her two-year-old child in the backseat.
00:18:01.000 As Mose heavily bled inside the home improvement store, he was rushed to a hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
00:18:07.000 These are pictures of the perpetrators.
00:18:09.000 They're both black.
00:18:11.000 Blake Mose is a white guy.
00:18:13.000 By the way, these are the perfect specimens of wonderful humanity here. 0.97
00:18:17.000 Not because of race, but because they are evil shooters who have a toddler in the back seat while they murder someone and steal a phone charger.
00:18:25.000 But this is not a national, this is a local news story.
00:18:28.000 Naps and Giller were stopped in Oakland, 20 miles from the Home Depot and arrested by deputies 15 minutes after the shooting.
00:18:33.000 Naps, a licensed security guard with priors for theft, was charged with murder, robbery, child endangerment, and conspiracy.
00:18:40.000 Hillary was arrested on a child endangerment charge and evading police and driving the wrong way. 0.86
00:18:45.000 Naps was then placed on a mental hold after she choked herself with a seatbelt in the back of the Alameda Sheriff's Department police cruiser until she lost consciousness.
00:18:52.000 Cops found a handgun at the intersection near the store.
00:18:54.000 The Naps toddler was released to relatives.
00:18:56.000 Apparently, Mose was an active community leader who had an interest in pursuing law enforcement as a career and had plans to get married this summer.
00:19:03.000 Well, he won't be married, obviously, because he was murdered.
00:19:07.000 He was murdered.
00:19:08.000 He was a volunteer for the Boy Scouts of America after he'd been a member, long-time member.
00:19:12.000 This is a picture of Mose with his fiancée.
00:19:15.000 They're scheduled to get married this summer.
00:19:17.000 He's dead. 0.58
00:19:18.000 The people who shot him are a black woman accompanied by a black male with their toddler in the back seat of the car.
00:19:26.000 Is Blake Mose going to get a call from the White House?
00:19:29.000 Anybody think he's going to get a call from the White House?
00:19:31.000 His family?
00:19:32.000 His fiancee?
00:19:32.000 You think?
00:19:33.000 I don't think so.
00:19:34.000 You think she's going to be invited to the White House to talk about the evils of gun violence? 1.00
00:19:38.000 Don't think so.
00:19:39.000 Have serious doubts.
00:19:41.000 Why?
00:19:41.000 Because for Joe Biden, it's not about gun violence.
00:19:43.000 It's about the race. 0.50
00:19:44.000 It's about the race. 0.95
00:19:45.000 This is all racial pandering nonsense. 0.67
00:19:48.000 It all ties back into, all the way back to Ferguson.
00:19:51.000 And the Trayvon Martin debate and Black Lives Matter riots of 2020.
00:19:55.000 The narrative that the left has decided to draw is that America is in a battle between a white supremacist system that must be destroyed from within and minorities who are being victimized by that system. 0.96
00:20:06.000 You are not getting an invite from the White House unless you are a black victim of a white crime. 0.99
00:20:09.000 And it does not matter. 0.99
00:20:11.000 It does not matter that twice as many on a raw level, white people are killed by black people every year as black people are killed by white people every year in the United States. 0.58
00:20:18.000 And if you draw that in proportion, it does not matter that if one out of every million white people shoots a black person and kills them in the United States, and 12 out of every million black people murders a white person in the United States, that disparity does not matter. 0.89
00:20:30.000 The only thing that matters is the lie. 0.98
00:20:32.000 That's the lie.
00:20:32.000 That's the lie that's being promoted at the top levels of our government by this White House.
00:20:37.000 And it's vile.
00:20:39.000 In just a second, we'll get to Joe Biden, who's just falling apart.
00:20:41.000 I mean, the man is falling apart first.
00:20:44.000 All of this is enough to make you question the universe, but you have to reconnect with your faith if you wish to find meaning in your life.
00:20:50.000 Regardless of your religion, we all need a little bit more connection in our life.
00:20:53.000 Halo is an incredible app that offers a unique approach to prayer and meditation.
00:20:57.000 Unlike other meditation apps, Halo is tailored specifically for people of faith to deepen their relationship with God.

00:21:13.000 You can access the number one Christian podcast, Bible in a Year with Father Mike Schmitz, on HALLO.
00:21:16.000 HALLO will help you maintain that daily prayer routine with features like progress tracking and streaks.

00:21:28.000 And we in the Orthodox Jewish community, we pray three times a day.
00:21:30.000 That's actually part of the laws that govern our lives.
00:21:33.000 But for a lot of Christians, it's hard to find time to pray during the day.
00:21:36.000 How do you connect?
00:21:37.000 Halo makes it easy.
00:21:38.000 If you're looking to deepen your relationship with God and improve your mental and emotional well-being, try Halo for three months free at halo.com slash Shapiro.
00:21:44.000 That's halo.com slash Shapiro.
00:21:46.000 Okay, meanwhile, Joe Biden is completely falling apart.
00:21:50.000 I mean, as a human being, he's falling apart.
00:21:52.000 I'm gonna go over and sign that executive order.
00:21:54.000 out in public, he appears to be on the verge of mental and physical collapse.
00:21:58.000 So yesterday, for example, he finished a speech and he just started wandering around the stage again, just wandering around the stage.
00:22:02.000 This is our president of the United States.
00:22:04.000 It is kind of humiliating.
00:22:05.000 I'm going to go over and sign that executive order.
00:22:06.000 Actually, he's not.
00:22:07.000 He's going to wander around and not know where to go.
00:22:08.000 I'm going to go on your side.
00:22:17.000 Oh, and here I am, standing.
00:22:20.000 Just standing.
00:22:21.000 Where am I?
00:22:22.000 Here I am, standing.
00:22:23.000 Well, everybody's looking at me, because I'm just standing there, not knowing where I am.
00:22:29.000 Also, he has some interesting ideas on how to spell simple words that my nine-year-old daughter can easily spell.
00:22:34.000 Here is Joe Biden, not knowing either math or English.
00:22:37.000 This is an interesting one.
00:22:39.000 But you have, we have a thousand billionaires in America.
00:22:44.000 Know the average tax rate they pay?
00:22:47.000 Eight.
00:22:47.000 E-I-G-H percent.
00:22:50.000 Eight percent.
00:22:51.000 Wow.
00:22:53.000 Eight.
00:22:54.000 E-I-G-L-B-O-N-Y seven percent. 0.68
00:23:03.000 That is our president of the United States.
00:23:04.000 Inspiring, isn't it?
00:23:05.000 By the way, he's lying.
00:23:06.000 The notion that billionaires pay 8% tax rate, that may be their overall tax rate because of capital gains, which are taxed differently than, for example, income.
00:23:14.000 Billionaires largely don't earn their money through income. 0.99
00:23:17.000 He's a liar, but he's also a mentally... 1.00
00:23:21.000 Unbalanced liar. 1.00
00:23:22.000 It's amazing. 0.99
00:23:24.000 And then he did his routine.
00:23:25.000 How many times can you tell people not to jump?
00:23:26.000 It's such a weird thing.
00:23:27.000 He does this like every speech now.
00:23:28.000 He tells people not to jump.
00:23:29.000 Like I understand.
00:23:30.000 Maybe he understands that people get suicidal at his speeches because it's almost impossible to watch him.
00:23:34.000 It gives you just a vast sense of cringe that's almost impossible to escape.
00:23:38.000 But it's weird, isn't it?
00:23:40.000 And he just keeps telling people not to jump.
00:23:43.000 You know, when I speak to the business roundtable and the muckety mucks are good, a lot of decent people. 1.00
00:23:49.000 The very, all the business enterprises, they look at me like, hey guys, don't jump, okay?
00:23:56.000 What?
00:23:57.000 Hey guys?
00:23:57.000 Who's he even talking to?
00:23:58.000 I don't even know what...
00:24:01.000 He's talking to Casper the Friendly Ghost again.
00:24:03.000 Hey, well, even as this occurs, there's new evidence emerging that Hunter Biden, his son, who may well have been the bag man for the entire Biden family, including Joe Biden.
00:24:12.000 That dude has lived large for a long time, has Joe Biden.
00:24:14.000 And the fact that he was casually corrupt for nearly his entire career.
00:24:17.000 I mean, getting sweetheart deals from Delaware credit card companies, for example.
00:24:22.000 All that gets ignored because obviously, sweet old man, Joe Biden.
00:24:27.000 A breaking story.
00:24:28.000 The attorney for an unnamed IRS criminal supervisory special agent says his client has now asked Congress for protection to speak out about allegations that a years-long, high-profile, politically sensitive investigation has been hindered by preferential treatment and politics, according to a letter obtained by CBS News.
00:24:42.000 That investigation is the one probing potential tax crimes by Hunter Biden.
00:24:47.000 My client wants to come forward to Congress, said attorney Mark Little, who's representing the agent.
00:24:51.000 He discussed his client's allegations with CBS News Chief Investigative Correspondent Jim Axelrod in an exclusive interview.
00:24:57.000 According to the lawyer, he's ready to be questioned about what he knows and what he experienced under the proper legal protections.
00:25:03.000 So this is very troubling, obviously.
00:25:06.000 The allegation here from the IRS whistleblower is that the tax investigation is basically being hamstrung by the Biden executive branch to protect Hunter.
00:25:15.000 Apparently, Biden left.
00:25:18.000 David C. Weiss, the Trump-appointed Delaware U.S.
00:25:20.000 Attorney General overseeing Hunter Biden's probe, in his post to avoid appearances of interference, DOJ officials have vowed publicly to protect the probe from political interference.
00:25:29.000 But the reality is that Weiss was basically a political appointee.
00:25:32.000 I mean, he received endorsements from Senators Tom Carper and Chris Coons, who are both Democrats.
00:25:38.000 There are a bunch of U.S.
00:25:39.000 attorneys appointed by Trump who were asked to resign, but not this guy.
00:25:42.000 In the letter, Little, the lawyer, claims his client's information would contradict sworn testimony to Congress by a senior political appointee.
00:25:49.000 In a March Senate hearing, AG Merrick Garland pledged he would not interfere with that investigation.
00:25:53.000 He said, I promise to ensure he's able to carry out his investigation and that he be able to run it.
00:25:56.000 So it'll be fascinating to see what exactly is the evidence that this person can provide.
00:26:02.000 Regarding any sort of cover up at the IRS of the tax investigation.
00:26:05.000 Meanwhile, the fact that Joe Biden is still traveling around with Hunter Biden just demonstrates the levels of insularity he feels from any sort of serious media scrutiny. 0.92
00:26:15.000 Hunter Biden is one of the most disgusting people walking American politics today. 0.98
00:26:19.000 I mean, he's a gross human being just by any stretch of the imagination. 0.99
00:26:23.000 The latest evidence that he's a gross human being is a 2019 text conversation with his cousin, Caroline Biden. 0.92
00:26:29.000 Joe Biden's niece. 0.78
00:26:30.000 Apparently, according to the UK Daily Mail, they were texting and Caroline was discussing setting him up with her rich model friends.
00:26:39.000 And in the conversation, she asked her cousin, do you want foreign or domestic?
00:26:43.000 I can't give you effing Asian. 1.00
00:26:45.000 Sorry, I'm not doing it.
00:26:47.000 And the president's son replied, domesticated foreigner is fine.
00:26:50.000 No yellow. 0.97
00:26:52.000 So first of all, totally unclear if he is, um, if he's talking about people that he wants to date or if he is talking about, you know, prostitutes, which he was very fond of using.
00:27:02.000 There's a person who's engaged in, at least as a john, sex trafficking.
00:27:06.000 And there's no, there's no doubt about that. 0.85
00:27:07.000 I mean, there's literally pictures on his computer of him engaging in prostitution, of having sex with prostitutes and filming it and all the rest of it and doing drugs and apparently violating gun laws while doing all of these things.
00:27:20.000 And violating, it appears, probably tax laws, and picking up bags of cash from foreign entities that mysteriously seem to disappear, and some of that money tends to make its way into the pockets of other Biden family members.
00:27:32.000 And apparently that's still okay for Hunter to travel with Dad.
00:27:36.000 That's how secure Joe Biden feels in the knowledge that the media will never actually cover this sort of stuff or dig into it.
00:27:42.000 That's how secure he feels, that he's able to travel with Dad.
00:27:45.000 That's kind of amazing, is it not?
00:27:46.000 He literally went to Ireland with Hunter, squattering him around.
00:27:50.000 And he lies routinely to the press about Hunter.
00:27:52.000 I never said anything about Hunter.
00:27:54.000 Hunter is one of the smartest people I know.
00:27:57.000 Amazing, amazing stuff.
00:27:59.000 Well, maybe this is one of the reasons why RFK Jr., who just announced that he's going to run for president, RFK Jr.
00:28:05.000 is, for those who don't know, a radical environmentalist nut who spent most of his early career railing about how vaccines were causing childhood autism, the evidence for which is zero.
00:28:15.000 And here was Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
00:28:17.000 announcing his run for the presidency last night.
00:28:23.000 This is what happens when you censor somebody for 18 years.
00:28:27.000 I got a lot to talk about.
00:28:39.000 They shouldn't have shut me up that long, because now I'm going to really let loose on them for the next 18 months.
00:28:44.000 They're gonna hear a lot from me.
00:28:46.000 So he has a very famous last name, obviously, Robert Kennedy Jr.
00:28:52.000 Again, he was most famous for pushing the lie that childhood vaccines cause autism.
00:28:59.000 Again, that is based on a completely debunked study, like thoroughly debunked study.
00:29:03.000 And he's still picking up 14% of the vote among Democrats.
00:29:08.000 Joe Biden is stuck at 67% in the latest polling.
00:29:12.000 That guy's the current president of the United States.
00:29:13.000 We're talking about Democratic primary voters.
00:29:15.000 We're not talking about overall.
00:29:16.000 Only two thirds of Democratic primary voters say they will vote for Joe Biden.
00:29:19.000 That is a terrible number for an incumbent president Who, again, is sitting in the office right now.
00:29:27.000 Kennedy, who, as I've said, is an environmentalist whack job, but also has said some things, like he was very, because he's skeptical of vaccines in general, he's also very skeptical of COVID vaccines.
00:29:37.000 So he's saying things about COVID vaccines that were then being censored by Facebook and being censored by Twitter at the time and all this.
00:29:43.000 He feels like he was silenced.
00:29:44.000 A lot of Democrats feel like they were silenced on that particular topic.
00:29:47.000 He's currently at 14%.
00:29:49.000 Marianne Williamson, who, again, is a woo-woo magic crystals lady, she's at 5%.
00:29:54.000 13% say that they are undecided.
00:29:58.000 That shows that he is pretty vulnerable.
00:30:00.000 That doesn't mean he won't wrap up the nomination when he announces his run.
00:30:04.000 He will.
00:30:04.000 The incumbent president virtually always does.
00:30:06.000 The only exception is 1968 when LBJ would have won the nomination but decided to step away because he was afraid of Robert Kennedy Sr.
00:30:15.000 running for the office against him.
00:30:17.000 But the fact that Robert Kennedy Jr., who's basically considered at the wild margins of American life, He's picking up 14% against Joe Biden.
00:30:26.000 Just shows how weak Joe Biden is.
00:30:28.000 There's a reason for that.
00:30:29.000 He's very bad at the presidenting.
00:30:30.000 We'll get to him being bad at the presidenting momentarily.
00:30:33.000 First, let's talk about the fact that over the past few years, if you own a business, it's been a rough ride.
00:30:37.000 And first you had COVID and the government maybe shutting down your business.
00:30:39.000 Then you had the government basically regulating how you could do your business.
00:30:42.000 Then you had Biden inflation.
00:30:43.000 Now you have the possibility of stagnation and recession.
00:30:46.000 Well, if you paid too much to the tax fellows, perhaps you should get that money back with Innovation Refunds.
00:30:50.000 Innovation Refunds knows the value of your time.
00:30:52.000 That's why they made it easy to apply for the Employee Retention Credit, or ERC.

00:31:13.000 There's no upfront charge.
00:31:14.000 They don't get paid until your business gets its refunds.
00:31:15.000 You literally have nothing to lose and only upside here.
00:31:18.000 Don't miss the opportunity.
00:31:19.000 The payroll tax refund is only available for a limited amount of time.
00:31:22.000 Head on over to GetRefunds.com.
00:31:24.000 Again, that is GetRefunds.com.
00:31:26.000 Head on over to GetRefunds.com right now to see if you qualify for that ERC assistance.
00:31:31.000 GetRefunds.com.
00:31:32.000 Also, I get it, folks. 1.00
00:31:34.000 You guys are outraged by the incredibly stupid woke corporations. 1.00
00:31:37.000 They're erasing women. 1.00
00:31:38.000 They're spitting on your values.
00:31:39.000 But instead of just talking the problem away or ignoring it, Jeremy Boring and we here at Daily Wire got proactive.
00:31:45.000 When Harry's condemned us and all of you, Jeremy made Jeremy's razors.
00:31:49.000 When Hershey's celebrated women with a man, Dylan Mulvaney, well, Jeremy launched Jeremy's chocolate.
00:31:55.000 And now that chocolate is here.
00:31:59.000 It is here, folks.
00:32:00.000 It is shipping as we speak.
00:32:02.000 So, it comes in two types, for those who don't know.
00:32:05.000 One is the he-him bars. 0.75
00:32:07.000 One is the she-her bars. 0.98
00:32:10.000 One has nuts, one is nutless.
00:32:11.000 If you can't tell the difference, you should not buy Jeremy's chocolate.
00:32:15.000 Well, thanks to you, we've sold over 32 tons of Jeremy's chocolate.
00:32:18.000 Even though Jeremy already has like a 300 bedroom house, he couldn't store that much chocolate.
00:32:21.000 So we said, you know what?
00:32:23.000 Let's get a fulfillment center. 0.96
00:32:23.000 And then we did. 0.96
00:32:24.000 We told you we were building a parallel economy.
00:32:26.000 We meant it.
00:32:27.000 Jeremy's may be the greatest joke we ever told, but it's also very real.
00:32:29.000 It's doing serious damage to the woke corporations that hate you.
00:32:33.000 I need to try some of this.
00:32:35.000 Honestly, this is literally the first time I've tried Germany's chocolate.
00:32:37.000 It was not available to me before.
00:32:38.000 It is kosher, by the way.
00:32:39.000 I would not be eating it otherwise.
00:32:40.000 So, let's take a bite of this.
00:32:42.000 Magnificent!
00:32:42.000 I don't know what I'm talking about.
00:32:43.000 I'm sure I call him the Abnerferal. 1.00
00:32:44.000 Mmm.
00:32:45.000 Magnificent.
00:32:46.000 Tastes like truth.
00:32:47.000 There are still a few bars left in the first batch of Jeremy's chocolate.
00:32:54.000 Go get them before they're gone.
00:32:55.000 Go to Jeremy's chocolate dot com today.
00:32:58.000 Well, meanwhile, our intrepidly foolish president of the United States, he's suggesting that we should just pass a clean debt ceiling increase. 0.65
00:33:06.000 Let's just keep racking up that debt. 0.94
00:33:07.000 After all, what could go wrong?
00:33:09.000 According to the Washington Post, Joe Biden on Wednesday rejected a Republican plan to slash government spending and raise the debt limit, assailing the proposals as wacko.
00:33:16.000 And he said that they would cause a catastrophic government default.
00:33:19.000 Actually, they wouldn't.
00:33:19.000 You're refusing to sign into law the debt ceiling increase is what would cause the government default.
00:33:24.000 So Kevin McCarthy, the Speaker of the House, He announced yesterday what his debt ceiling plan would be.
00:33:30.000 It is eminently reasonable.
00:33:32.000 The debt ceiling plan would include cutting federal spending to 2022 levels, which, by the way, is extraordinarily high.
00:33:38.000 Federal spending at 2022 levels is like insanely high, as in the highest in human history.
00:33:42.000 Limiting growth in the budget to 1% per year.
00:33:46.000 Which, uh, okay, like, I failed to see the problem.
00:33:49.000 Repealing enhanced IRS enforcement funding because we don't need, you know, 87,000 more people working for the IRS. 0.95
00:33:57.000 Undoing Joe Biden's federal student debt forgiveness because, of course, that's unconstitutional garbage.
00:34:02.000 And rescinding unspent pandemic relief funds because, of course, if you haven't used the money already, then why exactly are we paying you?
00:34:08.000 The pandemic ended, like, two years ago.
00:34:11.000 So, this, which part of this is supposed to be super controversial?
00:34:16.000 McCarthy told reporters that the bill would lift the debt ceiling by $1.5 trillion or extend it through March 31st, whichever comes first.
00:34:24.000 The 320-page bill, which was published moments after the speech, will be led by House Budget Committee Chair Jody Arrington, Republican of Texas.
00:34:31.000 Republicans have a narrow majority.
00:34:32.000 Republicans presumably will be able to pass this thing.
00:34:34.000 But Joe Biden's like, no, we're not passing anything.
00:34:36.000 You're going to pass it clean because I need more spending.
00:34:39.000 I need more.
00:34:40.000 And then he says, we've never, ever defaulted on the debt.
00:34:42.000 It would destroy the economy.
00:34:43.000 By the way, again, Joe Biden back during the 1990s voted against raising the debt ceiling unless it was actually accompanied by tax increases or certain cuts.
00:34:54.000 Yeah, but this is the Democratic plan is just ignore reality and then get the voters to also ignore reality.
00:35:00.000 After all, there's money enough for everyone if you are socialistic enough and you can borrow enough money.
00:35:05.000 This apparently is why the Biden administration is now pushing a rule set to take effect that will force good credit homebuyers to pay more for their mortgages to subsidize the loans to higher-risk borrowers.
00:35:13.000 Now, this is fun.
00:35:13.000 Didn't we just do this with the real estate meltdown in 2007-2008?
00:35:16.000 This is according to Fox News.
00:35:18.000 Experts believe borrowers with a credit score of about 680 would pay around 40 bucks more per month on a $400,000 mortgage under rules from the Federal Housing Finance Agency that go into effect May 1st.
00:35:29.000 Those costs will help subsidize people with lower credit ratings also looking for a mortgage.
00:35:32.000 Isn't that exciting?
00:35:34.000 So, um, if you have good credit, and you've done your job by paying your bills, you now get to subsidize a bunch of people who don't pay their bills nearly as well.
00:35:42.000 So they can buy houses they can't afford, and then presumably they'll default.
00:35:46.000 Because that's the important thing, is to get people into houses they can't actually afford.
00:35:49.000 board.
00:35:50.000 Ian Wright, senior loan officer at Bay Equity Home Loans, says, quote, the changes don't make sense.
00:35:54.000 Penalizing borrowers with larger down payments and credit scores will not go over well.
00:35:58.000 It overcomplicates things for consumers during a process that already feels overwhelming.
00:36:02.000 Confusing the borrower is never a good thing.
00:36:05.000 The Federal Housing Finance Agency oversees federally backed home mortgage companies Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
00:36:11.000 And again, they are pushing the idea that they are going to push people into buying houses they can't afford, paid for by other people.
00:36:19.000 Which was exactly what led to the meltdown in 2007-2008.
00:36:22.000 Subprime mortgages were essentially subsidized and backstopped by the federal government, particularly Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
00:36:28.000 And people bought houses they couldn't afford on the notion that if, God forbid, they couldn't pay their bills, they could again resell the house because the market would continue to go up.
00:36:35.000 Then the market didn't continue to go up.
00:36:36.000 They were underwater and all the banks had to foreclose on the homes.
00:36:39.000 And then because all of that bad debt had been spread throughout the economy with credit derivative swaps, it ended up basically melting down the economy, forcing things like TARP, the bailout plan. 0.95
00:36:48.000 So Joe Biden wants to do that all again because there's no plan stupid enough that Joe Biden won't repeat it. 0.80
00:36:54.000 Why exactly? 0.97
00:36:55.000 Someone is going to have to explain to me why he's so unpopular.
00:36:57.000 He seems like he's doing an amazing, amazing job.
00:36:59.000 Meanwhile, the media and Donald Trump have decided the great enemy of the Republic is not the current president of the United States.
00:37:06.000 The person who is standing in the way of our success is, of course, you guessed it, Ron DeSantis.
00:37:09.000 Ron DeSantis is the bad man today.
00:37:12.000 Both the media and Donald Trump have decided this.
00:37:14.000 Every story that's coming out from the mainstream media these days is talking about the inevitable failure of Ron DeSantis.
00:37:19.000 It's headline after headline after headline, which suggests that they really, really do not want this guy to even run.
00:37:25.000 There's a piece today from the Washington Post titled, After a High Flying Start, DeSantis Hits Stumbling Blocks on Road to 2024.
00:37:33.000 Well, that's weird since he hasn't actually launched a campaign yet.
00:37:37.000 And also, he's currently pulling About 16 points behind the former president of the United States, who is running again, and who has declared already.
00:37:47.000 No other Republican candidate is clocking in the double digits.
00:37:50.000 So, for a guy who's supposed to be failing, he doesn't seem to be failing all that badly.
00:37:55.000 And then they quote Republican megadonor Ken Langone.
00:37:58.000 He said he's eager to support Ron DeSantis for president in 2024, but he has concerns about the Florida governor, particularly because DeSantis signed into law a six-week abortion ban, and he wants him to moderate his stance on the issue.
00:38:08.000 Donors, activists, other supporters are increasingly voicing worries as the Washington Post that DeSantis has made unforced errors or embraced extreme positions that could hurt him in a general election.
00:38:18.000 OK, give me give me a break.
00:38:19.000 You're right, guys.
00:38:20.000 Probably you should support the guy who is who lost the last election and then proceeded to lose pretty much every Senate race he invested in.
00:38:27.000 Like that's the choice here.
00:38:29.000 If you're a Republican donor, you can pretend that there's going to be another candidate coming in from the wings who's going to suddenly pick up the support of the base.
00:38:36.000 But I have news for you.
00:38:37.000 That's not going to happen.
00:38:38.000 And there's a reason the media are doing this.
00:38:40.000 The reason the media are doing this is because they would like to see Ron DeSantis fail so that Donald Trump will be the nominee.
00:38:46.000 It means that they make a lot of money.
00:38:48.000 It means that they get to clear a lot of ratings, and it means they get a candidate they think is extremely beatable.
00:38:54.000 That is the reason they are doing this.
00:38:56.000 You know who else agrees with this is Donald Trump.
00:38:58.000 So Trump has spent an extraordinary amount of his ire so far on a candidate who is not yet declared.
00:39:03.000 Yesterday, he essentially just threatened to take his ball and go home if he doesn't win the primaries.
00:39:07.000 He basically said, if Ron DeSantis runs against me, I will take my voters and I will tell them not to show up.
00:39:15.000 Guys, question.
00:39:17.000 Do you really want to nominate a candidate who is so self-centered that he believes that it is in the best interest of you to lose an election to Joe Biden rather than if he loses?
00:39:27.000 I mean, Trump could just win.
00:39:29.000 I mean, if he just wins the nomination fair and square, fine.
00:39:33.000 I mean, that's how the process works.
00:39:34.000 But the baseline idea that in a Republican primary, you're threatening your rivals with, I'll take my supporters and tell them not to vote in a general to defeat you and let Joe Biden be president again.
00:39:46.000 That's pretty wild stuff.
00:39:47.000 Here is Donald Trump threatening, threatening Ron DeSantis yesterday.
00:39:51.000 Ron DeSantis is a young man who is not doing well against me in the polls, to put it mildly.
00:39:58.000 I believe that if he decides to run for president, which will only hurt and somewhat divide the Republican Party, which we don't need, he will lose the cherished and massive MAGA vote and never be able to successfully run for office again.
00:40:13.000 I believe that.
00:40:14.000 If he remains governor, which is what Florida voters assumed he would do, it would be a whole different story.
00:40:21.000 Just saying.
00:40:23.000 But who knows.
00:40:25.000 Just saying, just saying.
00:40:26.000 And hell, I'm not saying that your store is going to burn down if you don't pay me this protection.
00:40:31.000 But if it sets on fire, I don't know.
00:40:33.000 It could.
00:40:34.000 I don't know.
00:40:35.000 This is very ugly stuff, obviously.
00:40:37.000 There are a lot of reasons to oppose Ron DeSantis that I'm sure Donald Trump can find to run on.
00:40:42.000 But threatening to basically destroy the Republican Party from within and re-elect Joe Biden to the presidency if you should lose the primary is really not a great way to enshrine the belief in the base that you actually care about the issues that matter.
00:40:55.000 Now, Reagan had what was called the 11th Commandment.
00:40:57.000 The 11th Commandment was you don't attack the fellow Republicans, you go after the opposition.
00:41:02.000 Donald Trump has been spending his time going after Ron DeSantis nonstop, which is how he's ended up in the peculiar position of defending both Bud Light and Disney.
00:41:08.000 Very weird.
00:41:09.000 Very strange position for Donald Trump, a supposed culture warrior, to be doing that.
00:41:13.000 Meanwhile, Ron DeSantis continues to win legislative victories in the state of Florida.
00:41:19.000 According to CNN, you can read the tears coming off the page.
00:41:22.000 The Florida State Education Board voted on Wednesday to ban teaching students about sexual orientation and gender identity all the way through high school, which of course makes perfect sense. 0.99
00:41:30.000 You want to learn about that stuff?
00:41:31.000 Go home.
00:41:31.000 Go talk to your parents.
00:41:32.000 Go talk to people in your community.
00:41:33.000 You know what you don't need?
00:41:35.000 A public school teacher funded by the NEA Union or the AFT teaching your kids about sexual fluidity and the equivalent morality of all sexual activity.
00:41:45.000 That's what you don't need, actually, as it turns out.
00:41:47.000 That's what Ron DeSantis said yesterday.
00:41:50.000 But it also is important to me because my wife and I have a six, five and three year old kids at home.
00:41:55.000 So we're looking at it through the lens of parents ourselves.
00:41:58.000 And we just believe that parents should be able to send their kid to school, have them watch cartoons, just be kids without having some agenda shoved down their throats all the time.
00:42:09.000 So gender ideology has no place in our K through 12 school system. 1.00
00:42:13.000 And we've made that very, very clear.
00:42:15.000 It is wrong for a teacher to tell a student that they may have been born in the wrong body or that their gender is a choice.
00:42:22.000 And so we don't let that happen in Florida.
00:42:25.000 And if Disney objects to that, well, so be it.
00:42:28.000 We're going to do what's right.
00:42:31.000 Okay, I wonder why any Republican would oppose that.
00:42:35.000 Why would any conservative oppose that?
00:42:36.000 This is all very easy baseline stuff.
00:42:40.000 As the stanza says, all they're saying is basically the teachers can't come in the room and start asking people pronouns or start pushing their own pronouns.
00:42:46.000 Which by the way, I was never aware that it was a matter of deep concern that teachers be able to tell their students about their sexuality.
00:42:53.000 I don't know why that is a priority in any way, shape, or form.
00:42:56.000 Where I come from, teachers don't actually have to tell their kids about their personal lives.
00:42:59.000 In fact, they're not supposed to.
00:43:00.000 There's supposed to be a distant respect and remove for teachers.
00:43:04.000 Being close to the teacher means liking the teacher as a teacher.
00:43:06.000 It doesn't mean knowing everything about the teacher's personal life or sexual proclivities.
00:43:11.000 And DeSantis is very clear on these issues, which is one of the reasons I think that Trump is and many of the media are afraid of him.
00:43:17.000 Here's DeSantis yesterday saying a man in a dress is not a woman.
00:43:19.000 Again, this is very clear and concise.
00:43:24.000 If we as a society say that a man that puts on a dress, dresses as a woman, and then, quote, identifies as a woman, is actually a woman, that is not true, okay?
00:43:35.000 If you're telling me that I have to accept that that is a woman, you're asking me to be complicit in a lie.
00:43:43.000 And that I will not do.
00:43:45.000 And so, part of this is about, are we going to have a society that's rooted in truth?
00:43:51.000 Or are we going to have a society that's unmoored from truth and is basically being swept away with different ideological currents?
00:44:00.000 Because if you're saying that that is a woman, you're putting ideology ahead of truth and reason. 0.98
00:44:10.000 It'll be interesting to see how Trump attacks DeSantis on this sort of stuff again, considering that he has basically come to Disney's defense over Disney's attempts to move socially left.
00:44:18.000 Okay, in just one second, we'll get to more on all of this.
00:44:21.000 Plus, Jon Fetterman returns to Congress first.

00:45:26.000 Meanwhile, I've said before that Congress is a collection of people who do not have full brain function.
00:45:31.000 Usually I'm speaking at least half facetiously.
00:45:32.000 Unfortunately, these days I'm not.
00:45:34.000 I mean, it's actually literally true.
00:45:35.000 Dianne Feinstein is not with us, and she sits on the Judiciary Committee.
00:45:38.000 There was a bit of hilarious back and forth between Republicans and Democrats this week.
00:45:41.000 Democrats were trying to shift her off the very important Judiciary Committee and onto another committee, but they needed Republican votes to do it. 1.00
00:45:47.000 Republicans are like, no, we're not going to give you that out.
00:45:50.000 She's going to sit there until you guys decide to remove her. 1.00
00:45:51.000 Your problem, not ours. 0.94
00:45:53.000 Which, by the way, is the right political move.
00:45:55.000 If you're a party and you decide to leave people in place who don't have full mental function, that one's on you.
00:45:59.000 Speaking of which, the cruelty of Pushing a man who has had a debilitating stroke into the Senate of the United States and then expecting him to fulfill his duties with aplomb was on full display yesterday.
00:46:11.000 John Fetterman returned to the Senate.
00:46:14.000 I'm glad that he's mentally well enough to be back at his job.
00:46:18.000 However, all the problems that we were told were supposed to go away, those are still not going away.
00:46:22.000 Here he was yesterday.
00:46:23.000 he does not sound back to his original self pre-stroke obviously.
00:46:34.000 Senate Subcommittee on Food and Nutrition, Specialty Crops, Organics, and Research to order.
00:46:44.000 Chairwoman Stabenow and Ranking Member Boozman, thank you so much for coming.
00:46:55.000 I thank you for your leadership on this committee and I look forward to working with you to pass a farm bill.
00:47:02.000 SNAP is one of the most effective programs to fight hunger and piraty in the country.
00:47:08.000 In my time and effort in IFAS, as the mayor of Braddock, to lieutenant governor, to now, I have heard from Pennsylvanians about their support for a SNAP.
00:47:21.000 Um, oh, yeah.
00:47:24.000 And then he asked a question.
00:47:26.000 It, again, did not go amazingly for the senator from Pennsylvania.
00:47:30.000 Food banks Like filibustments and knowing personally the kind of quality of the work that you do in my own state.
00:47:38.000 They distribute 85% of TFAP foods nationwide.
00:47:44.000 As Americans struggle with high food costs, how have you been able to allow you to continue to provide food support?
00:47:56.000 Things are going amazing in the United States Senate.
00:47:59.000 Truth is that even in his current state, John Fetterman probably is smarter than at least, I don't know, 30% of the Senate.
00:48:05.000 Meanwhile, in Congress, things are not going much better.
00:48:07.000 So yesterday, Marjorie Taylor Greene, frankly, I find this hilarious.
00:48:11.000 So one thing that I like about British Parliament is they basically just Smack each other around.
00:48:15.000 It's really funny.
00:48:16.000 So watch British Parliament is really entertaining.
00:48:18.000 There are all these sort of rules of decorum in the United States Congress.
00:48:21.000 You're not allowed to call witnesses liars and all the rest of it. 0.99
00:48:23.000 Marjorie Taylor Greene found that out the hard way yesterday when she called Alejandro Mayorkas, who is a liar, a liar. 0.98
00:48:28.000 She called him that. 0.92
00:48:28.000 You're not allowed to do that. 0.92
00:48:29.000 Her words were struck.
00:48:30.000 She was barred from from actually speaking further on the committee because that's how the rules work. 0.98
00:48:34.000 But this was kind of funny.
00:48:35.000 She was Marjorie Taylor Greene was just waiting for her moment to smack Eric Swalwell upside the head. 0.99
00:48:40.000 Eric Swalwell is, of course, the representative from California most famous for possibly farting on camera and also having sex with a Chinese spy. 0.97
00:48:47.000 It was the latter issue that Marjorie Taylor Greene pointed out yesterday.
00:48:50.000 After Eric Swalwell did a whole bizarre lecture about the House Judiciary Committee and Elon Musk and Kanye West and all the rest of it, Marjorie Taylor Greene jumped in with both feet. 0.56
00:49:01.000 Off the top rope, Marjorie Taylor Greene, here we go. 0.84
00:49:05.000 That was quite entertaining from someone that had a sexual relationship with a Chinese spy. 0.90
00:49:10.000 And everyone knows it. 0.76
00:49:12.000 I move to take our words down.
00:49:13.000 She's so happy, man.
00:49:15.000 The gentleman will state the words that he wishes taken down.
00:49:19.000 Everything that the gentlelady from Georgia has said.
00:49:22.000 No, you need to be more specific.
00:49:23.000 The accusations of an affair with a Chinese spy, those are engaging in personalities.
00:49:32.000 And those words should be taken down and the gentlelady should not be able to speak anymore in this hearing. 1.00
00:49:41.000 The latter part of that is not an appropriate motion, but we will evaluate the striking of those words.
00:49:47.000 The chair recognizes the gentlelady from Georgia and asks if she would like to retract those words.
00:49:55.000 No, I will not.
00:49:56.000 Okay, the chair rules that those Words that were spoken are not going to be stricken from the record.
00:50:05.000 So, in the congressional record, you will now find Marjorie Taylor Greene telling Eric Swalwell that he nailed the Chinese spy.
00:50:13.000 So, you know what?
00:50:14.000 Fine.
00:50:15.000 More of this.
00:50:15.000 More of this.
00:50:17.000 It's fine with me. 0.96
00:50:18.000 Our congresspeople are a class of dolts in the first place. 0.99
00:50:21.000 That is fine with me on pretty much all sides. 0.95
00:50:23.000 Okay, time for some things I like and then some things that I hate.
00:50:27.000 So things that I like today.
00:50:29.000 This is hysterical to me.
00:50:30.000 So now, according to the New York Post, ex-Biden official Sam Brinton is going to undergo a mental health evaluation in his luggage theft case.
00:50:40.000 So Sam Brinton is the disgraced former Biden administration official who was stealing luggage on at least two separate occasions and then wearing around the clothing.
00:50:47.000 And there was an African lady who had made like custom clothing and he was just wearing around this lady's clothes. 0.92
00:50:54.000 He is now agreeing to undergo a mental health evaluation as part of his Minnesota Adult Diversion Program.
00:50:58.000 Brinton, says the New York Post, who is non-binary and uses they-them pronouns, appeared remotely Monday at a Hennepin County Court hearing stemming from that luggage theft incident.
00:51:07.000 In addition to having to undergo a mental health evaluation, Brinton will be required to write a letter of apology to the victim, return any stolen property, and perform three days of community service.
00:51:15.000 So, um, I'd just like to point out here that he's having a mental health evaluation now?
00:51:22.000 What was your first clue there was something mentally wrong with this person?
00:51:25.000 But were there any other clues or was it completely out of the blue?
00:51:28.000 He seemed like such a nice young man, said his next door neighbor.
00:51:32.000 No, I have.
00:51:33.000 There were some clues.
00:51:34.000 There was something mentally unwell about this person.
00:51:37.000 Just a few clues.
00:51:38.000 I don't know.
00:51:39.000 Like maybe this picture.
00:51:41.000 That seems like a clue.
00:51:42.000 It's like a bald dude wearing a dress, like a ball gown, and claiming that he has no gender.
00:51:47.000 That seems like kind of a clue that maybe this person shouldn't be in charge of our nuclear waste, which was his position at the by- By the way, they celebrated him for- for this.
00:51:54.000 Okay, this- this... wackadoo, with the mustache and the bald head, wearing a ball gown, at some sort of public event with other members of the- of the administration.
00:52:06.000 This- this one, who went to, like, the French embassy.
00:52:10.000 Yeah, like, There are no mental health evaluations, apparently, to handle the nation's nuclear waste.
00:52:15.000 But after you steal- Were there- There are no clues, guys.
00:52:18.000 None!
00:52:19.000 This seems- This was perfectly- In our modern society, this is perfectly- Stealing the luggage was the first time we had ever had any clue there might be something screwy about Sam Brinton.
00:52:28.000 Otherwise, this is heroism.
00:52:30.000 He went from hero to villain so fast.
00:52:32.000 Or, alternatively, he had problems the whole time.
00:52:36.000 I know, it's shocking to think, absolutely shocking to think that a man who dressed up in a dress and did lectures on college campuses with other men who are kneeling there in dog outfits with collars around their neck, that that person might have some unexplainable problems.
00:52:55.000 No, no, no, we can't, no.
00:52:58.000 Wow, how the worm turns when heroes like Sam Britton fall so far.
00:53:04.000 No one could have predicted this.
00:53:05.000 There were no clues, none, no red flags, zero.
00:53:09.000 I'm just glad that now he's getting the mental, or they, or it, whatever the pronouns of the day are, that Xi is getting the help that Xi needs.
00:53:19.000 Meanwhile, MSNBC anchor Mehdi Hassan, who was formerly of the Qatar-funded Al Jazeera propaganda network, He has now been accused of plagiarizing a column he wrote in favor of child spanking a couple of decades ago.
00:53:31.000 He seemed to have copied full paragraphs from a U.S.
00:53:33.000 News & World Report article, tweaking only a couple of words, according to Li Feng, journalist.
00:53:40.000 That's, um, that's not great for him.
00:53:43.000 Now, I don't tend to think that Mehdi Hassan is a particularly excellent anchor, but the good news for Democrats and people who are on the left is that you can plagiarize as much as you want and be perfectly okay.
00:53:52.000 After all, there's a Princeton professor.
00:53:56.000 Kevin Cruz, who's accused quite plausibly of plagiarism, he's still teaching there, no problem.
00:54:02.000 Those sorts of scandals only take down people on the right.
00:54:04.000 Okay, time for a couple of things that I hate.
00:54:10.000 So, there is this new mode when it comes to journalism and in the world of business, where bosses are not allowed to tell people to suck it up and do their work.
00:54:18.000 I don't understand this at all.
00:54:20.000 You know, now I am a boss.
00:54:21.000 For much of my life, I was an employee.
00:54:24.000 And when you are an employee, your job is to do your job.
00:54:27.000 That's why it's called a job.
00:54:28.000 You're supposed to work, right?
00:54:30.000 Like, actually do the work.
00:54:32.000 And if you refuse to do the work, then there will be consequences for refusing to do the work.
00:54:36.000 Like, for example, you might get fired.
00:54:37.000 If you are insufficiently enthusiastic about doing your work, then you might get zip recruited, right?
00:54:41.000 Things could happen to you. 0.94
00:54:42.000 But apparently now, if you are a CEO and you tell people, listen, suck it up, buttercup, then apparently you are the font head of all evil, the root of all evil.
00:54:51.000 It's not good to be in the situation we're in today, but we're not going to be here forever.
00:54:54.000 It is going to get better.
00:54:55.000 of the furniture company, Miller Knoll.
00:54:57.000 It's a publicly traded company.
00:54:58.000 She is now facing backlash after a video of her telling staffers worried about not getting a bonus to leave Pity City went viral.
00:55:04.000 So here's what she said.
00:55:05.000 It's not good to be in a situation we're in today, but we're not going to be here forever.
00:55:10.000 It is going to get better.
00:55:11.000 So lead, lead by example, treat people well, talk to them, be kind and get after it.
00:55:19.000 Don't ask about what are we going to do if we don't get a bonus. 0.99
00:55:22.000 Get the damn 26 million dollars! 0.98
00:55:24.000 Spend your time and your effort thinking about the 26 million dollars we need and not thinking about what you're going to do if we don't get a bonus. 0.99
00:55:32.000 All right?
00:55:34.000 Can I get some commitment for that?
00:55:36.000 I would appreciate that.
00:55:37.000 I had an old boss who said to me one time, You can visit pity city, but you can't live there.
00:55:42.000 So people leave pity city.
00:55:45.000 Let's get it done.
00:55:46.000 And people were very mad.
00:55:49.000 They were very, very mad.
00:55:51.000 Miller and all said bonuses aren't determined until after the fiscal year ends in May.
00:55:55.000 And the goal here was to rally people.
00:55:56.000 Like if you want the bonus, we have to hit our numbers.
00:55:58.000 We're not hitting our numbers right now.
00:55:59.000 Go hit the numbers.
00:55:59.000 Maybe you'll get a bonus, but stop sitting there and worrying about your bonus until you actually start moving toward hitting the numbers.
00:56:06.000 This merited this little speech here.
00:56:08.000 I mean, this isn't even like Patton slapping a soldier or something during World War II.
00:56:13.000 This is just a CEO being like, guys, your bonuses are dependent on us actually hitting our numbers.
00:56:17.000 No numbers, no bonus.
00:56:19.000 Get back to your desk.
00:56:20.000 This apparently is cause for a full scale article in the Wall Street Journal.
00:56:25.000 According to the Wall Street Journal, Much of business leadership takes place via easily recorded and shared video these days, and more than one top executive has spiked viral outrage as a result.
00:56:34.000 In 2021, Vishal Garg, chief executive of online mortgage lender Better.com, apologized and took a brief leave of absence after a video of him firing hundreds of workers on a Zoom call was posted on TikTok and viewed by millions.
00:56:44.000 Others have drawn scrutiny for more impromptu moments shared online.
00:56:47.000 Okay, here is the deal, folks.
00:56:49.000 If you decide that you wish to take pay from a particular company, then you should just go and do your job.
00:56:54.000 If you do your job and you keep your head down, And you perform well, you will get the bonuses.
00:56:59.000 And if you feel like you've earned a bonus, go ask for a bonus.
00:57:01.000 And your boss will say yes, or your boss will say no.
00:57:03.000 Everybody needs to stop with this whole sensitivity garbage when it comes to, you know, doing your job. 0.99
00:57:07.000 It really is quite ridiculous. 0.98
00:57:09.000 Okay. 0.88
00:57:09.000 Coming up, we're going to be jumping into the mailbag. 0.88
