00:01:30.000 Alrighty, so. 0.94
00:01:32.000 The Oscars, it's a time when a bunch of preening morons get together and pat themselves on the back, give each other awards, give each other thousands of dollars in swag bags, fly in on their private jets, lecture about climate change, and then tell us why they ought to be the moral guides for the rest of us. 0.96
00:01:46.000 People wonder why the Oscars have been sliding for years and years and years, and sure, it's the quality of the films, and sure, it's the fact that the theater experience has been watered down by streaming, And it's been watered down by the fact that there's so much good TV. 0.92
00:01:57.000 And sure, it's the fact that fewer people watch each of these best picture nominees than they did back in, say, 2000, 2001.
00:02:03.000 However, there's another problem.
00:02:06.000 And this is something that the Oscars simply cannot get over and they will never get over.
00:02:08.000 And this is why the Oscars are never coming back.
00:02:10.000 The problem is people in Hollywood have always thought of themselves as America's moral betters.
00:02:15.000 And they just are not.
00:02:16.000 And that gap between Hollywood and the rest of America becomes clearer every single year. 0.98
00:02:20.000 And this year was just Excellent par excellence, more like chef's kiss example of why these people should never run anything about your life, why people associated with them should never run anything about your life, why they are a bunch of low IQ idiots with no moral compass, and why when they stand there and lecture you about your moral code, And how Hollywood is supposed to be America's representative to the world? 0.96
00:02:45.000 We should really be looking for another representative to the world because my goodness, my goodness. 0.93
00:02:50.000 The only reason to talk about the Oscars, of course, is no one watched them.
00:02:52.000 More people will hear about them on the show than probably watched the Oscars in its entirety last night.
00:02:57.000 The only reason to talk about this is because the Oscars used to be a sort of cultural totem for the United States.
00:03:03.000 It was our chief export abroad.
00:03:04.000 Hollywood was the exporter of American ideas and American ideology and the American vision to the rest of the world.
00:03:10.000 This is true in the 30s, 40s, 50s, and 60s.
00:03:13.000 And now, Hollywood has largely become an afterthought in the sort of global cultural milieu.
00:03:21.000 And if people do think of Hollywood, it's only how do we ban the Hollywood movies so it doesn't corrupt the youth, right?
00:03:26.000 That seems to be the way that authoritarian countries approach Hollywood movies.
00:03:29.000 And yet here in the United States, the media treat the Oscars as though it is a gathering of great luminaries, intellectual luminaries, moral luminaries, who are going to come together in a sort of conclave to figure out the moral code By which we must all live.
00:03:44.000 So it began last night.
00:03:45.000 The Oscars began last night with a small controversy over whether the president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, was going to appear on the Oscars.
00:03:50.000 Now, I have to say, I'm not sure why Volodymyr Zelensky should appear on the Oscars.
00:03:54.000 Every time there's an international conflagration, should that person appear on the Oscars?
00:03:58.000 Seems like a weird take.
00:04:00.000 But Sean Penn was very hot and bothered about the idea that Wladimir Zelensky would not appear on the Oscars.
00:04:05.000 Because after all, Wladimir Zelensky is a Hollywood star in one of the best picture nominees.
00:04:11.000 Or alternatively, he's the leader of a country at war.
00:04:13.000 And in any case, Sean Penn was very upset about all of this.
00:04:17.000 If presenters have elected not to pursue the leadership in Ukraine who are taking bullets and bombs for us, along with the Ukrainian children that they are trying to protect, then I think every single one of those people And every bit of that decision will have been the most obscene moment in all of Hollywood history, and I hope that's not what's happening.
00:04:44.000 If it turns out to be what's happening, I would encourage everyone involved to know that though it may be their moment, and I understand that, to celebrate their films, it is so much more importantly their moment to shine and to protest and to boycott that Academy Awards.
00:05:02.000 And I myself, if it comes back to it, When I return, I will smelt mine in public.
00:05:09.000 He publicly smelt his Oscar down to do what now?
00:05:13.000 That'll end the war, Sean. 0.82
00:05:15.000 By the way, I would be remiss if I did not note that Bill Nye the Science Guy and Sean Penn seem to be becoming the same person slowly.
00:05:22.000 It's very interesting.
00:05:23.000 Now listen, what Sean Penn is doing in documenting what's going on with Zelensky in Ukraine, that's fine, that's good.
00:05:27.000 But the point here, which is that Sean Penn and the rest of Hollywood do think of themselves as the moral imprimatur for the rest of the universe, It's silly. 0.80
00:05:36.000 And the silliness is on full display.
00:05:37.000 So, right before the Oscars, Jamie Lee Curtis gets up.
00:05:41.000 She's on the red carpet.
00:05:43.000 And there she is, smiling, posing for the cameras, and wearing, that's right, a ribbon.
00:05:49.000 A blue ribbon for Ukraine.
00:05:53.000 Bravery.
00:05:56.000 Fearless heroism from Jamie Lee Curtis.
00:05:59.000 Wearing the ribbon.
00:06:01.000 This is the point where they beat the living crap out of Kramer because he won't wear the AIDS ribbon.
00:06:05.000 But yeah, they're wearing ribbons, guys, and that's what the Oscars are all about.
00:06:09.000 It's demonstrating solidarity with our favorite causes.
00:06:12.000 So yeah, the virtual signaling had just begun with Jamie Lee Curtis and her ribbon wearing and all the rest.
00:06:18.000 When most of us fell asleep, or would have fallen asleep, if we had only had a Helix Sleep mattress.
00:06:22.000 And you would have saved yourself a lot of time and effort if you had fallen asleep on your Helix Sleep mattress.
00:06:26.000 Unfortunately, you're on another type of mattress, so you didn't fall asleep.
00:06:29.000 Maybe you plowed through the other 97 hours of that telecast.
00:06:32.000 Well, you shouldn't have.
00:06:33.000 You should have gone out and done what I told you to do years ago.

00:07:24.000 If Hollywood has one cause above all other causes, it is the LGBTQ cause. 1.00
00:07:28.000 It's the only thing Hollywood cares about these days.
00:07:29.000 It is the grand difference between Hollywood and the rest of you rubes. 1.00
00:07:33.000 You believe that men are men and women are women. 0.50
00:07:36.000 You believe that kids should not be taught sex in schools. 0.95
00:07:39.000 This is because you are a bigot. 0.88
00:07:40.000 And here to tell you all about your bigotry are three extraordinarily unfunny people. 0.83
00:07:46.000 Wanda Sykes, Amy Schumer, and Regina Hall.
00:07:50.000 Now, I will admit to you, I've not seen a thing that one of these people is in for years.
00:07:55.000 I'm not sure I've ever seen a movie with Regina Hall.
00:07:58.000 Amy Schumer's material, I will run from like the Black Death.
00:08:02.000 And Wanda Sykes may have been funny 15 years ago, but I'm not sure, like, did they dredge these people up out of the bay?
00:08:10.000 Who at the Oscars is like, you know what the audience is clamoring for?
00:08:15.000 They are clamoring for three women who have been in a combined total of zero hits for a while. 0.52
00:08:22.000 That's what the audience is desperate for.
00:08:24.000 Bring back Amy Schumer. 1.00
00:08:26.000 The campaign was just, it was in full swing.
00:08:29.000 And how could the Oscars deny it?
00:08:30.000 So they let off, as you knew they would, right?
00:08:32.000 If I had had to make my Oscar prediction, I didn't care about who's going to win best picture because frankly, I've seen some of them, but nothing has really blown me away But the one prediction I would have made is that they would have opened with the Florida stuff.
00:08:43.000 Like, absolutely, because they can't help themselves.
00:08:46.000 The only cause that matters to Hollywood is LGBTQ causes. 1.00
00:08:50.000 That's all that matters.
00:08:51.000 All the rest of it is window dressing.
00:08:52.000 Ukraine does not matter to them.
00:08:54.000 Suffering abroad does not matter to them.
00:08:55.000 Climate change does not matter to them.
00:08:56.000 This is the only thing that matters to them.
00:08:58.000 And the reason it's the only thing that matters to them is because their alternative moral code is the only thing that matters to them, and it's what a lot of them believe ought to be indoctrinated into kids, which is why they're very upset with this Florida bill.
00:09:08.000 So this Florida bill, obviously, which has become the cause celeb in Hollywood for no reason whatsoever, considering that what the bill says is you don't get to indoctrinate small children into sexual orientation and gender identity.
00:09:19.000 And all of Hollywood is very, very upset about this.
00:09:21.000 I knew for a fact that they would be chanting gay within the first five minutes of the Oscars. 0.64
00:09:25.000 For sure.
00:09:26.000 And then they wonder why the Oscar ratings are go down.
00:09:29.000 Maybe it's because if I like when I was a kid, I was like 10, 11 years old.
00:09:33.000 My mom really liked watching the Oscars.
00:09:35.000 And so, we, like a lot of other families, we'd get together in the den, and we'd all watch the Oscars, and my dad would fume at the annoyance of it, and we'd get through the nine-hour show together, and it was sort of a family bonding event.
00:09:45.000 You'd mock the Oscars and all of that. 0.99
00:09:47.000 Hey, there is no way in hell I would put my children in front of a screen with these morons on it. 1.00
00:09:50.000 There's just no way I would do it. 1.00
00:09:52.000 I mean, their overt attempt here is to indoctrinate your kids into ridiculous values, like why small kindergartners should know about Homosexuality and gender identity and transgender theory. 0.52
00:09:52.000 Would you? 0.52
00:10:08.000 So I knew for a fact within the first five minutes they would be smacking you over the head with the mallet of the Florida parental protection bill.
00:10:15.000 So here they were last night, our great comedic minds all together combined, Amy Schumer, Wanda Sykes, and Regina Hall, who may together be able to tell a joke, maybe.
00:10:28.000 Here is Wanda Sykes.
00:10:28.000 It's so funny, guys.
00:10:29.000 So much humor happening right here. 0.81
00:10:32.000 We're going to have a great night tonight, and for you people in Florida, we're going to have a gay night. 0.99
00:10:35.000 Gay! 0.99
00:10:39.000 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah! 1.00
00:10:48.000 Gay! 0.99
00:11:04.000 And then the music comes up and the lights come up in the background. 0.96
00:11:07.000 Oh, oh, the heroism of a bunch of people who all agree that small children should be indoctrinated into the joys of of homosexuality and gender identity.
00:11:17.000 What's it?
00:11:18.000 Yes, Hollywood.
00:11:18.000 Yes.
00:11:19.000 Yes.
00:11:20.000 OK.
00:11:21.000 And then they're all. 0.88
00:11:23.000 Meg Ryan-ing it from When Harry Met Sally to the to the chants of these three very, very unfunny people saying gay over and over.
00:11:29.000 Okay, so it begins with this and these are your moral betters.
00:11:32.000 And then we get Amy Schumer, again, who I don't know when people thought Amy Schumer was funny, but she has not been funny for a very, very long time.
00:11:42.000 She made a pay gap joke because that one's not tired. 0.99
00:11:45.000 And her joke was that the Oscars hired these three women because it was cheaper than hiring one man. 0.98
00:11:51.000 This year, the Academy hired three women to host because it's cheaper than hiring one man. 0.79
00:12:01.000 Well, I mean, one man... Actually, any man would have been funnier than those three women. 0.95
00:12:06.000 You could have hired a janitor off the street and he would have been funnier than those three women. 1.00
00:12:11.000 As one of my producers noted, Chris Rock provided more humor in one moment this evening than all three of those women did across the combined 27 hours of this Oscar telecast. 0.52
00:12:20.000 So yeah, that's three women cheaper than hiring. 1.00
00:12:24.000 Honestly, I wonder how much money each of these women made last year. 1.00
00:12:27.000 I have a feeling none of them are poor, even though they're really not good at their job.
00:12:32.000 Then, Wanda Sykes.
00:12:34.000 She's back for more.
00:12:35.000 She's here to make a Mitch McConnell joke because there's nothing the public likes better than a joke about the Senate Minority Leader. 1.00
00:12:41.000 Now, last I checked, the Senate Majority Leader is Chuck Schumer, who is related to Amy. 0.98
00:12:45.000 And the President of the United States is a doddering old fool named Joe Biden. 0.99
00:12:47.000 Don't worry, we'll get to him. 0.99
00:12:48.000 And the Vice President of the United States is Kamala Harris, who's from California, where this event took place.
00:12:53.000 And the Speaker of the House is Nancy Pelosi, who's a Democrat from California.
00:12:57.000 But they found a way to make a joke about Mitch McConnell and toxic masculinity.
00:13:02.000 That just, I mean, this must have gone over gangbusters in that writer's room.
00:13:06.000 They were probably bouncing off the walls.
00:13:08.000 They were laughing so hard, slapping people, falling on the ground, just spastically screaming in hilarity because of this joke.
00:13:17.000 Man, here we go, Wanda Sykes. 0.96
00:13:20.000 Have you ever heard a bad Mitch McConnell joke?
00:13:21.000 I mean, there's no such thing.
00:13:23.000 You know, this year we saw a frightening display of how toxic masculinity turns into cruelty towards women and children. 1.00
00:13:30.000 Damn that Mitch McConnell. 1.00
00:13:32.000 I know. 1.00
00:13:33.000 I know.
00:13:35.000 So Mitch McConnell jokes, right?
00:13:36.000 They are the best.
00:13:37.000 And let me tell you, a lot of people were trying to fall asleep right after watching that Oscar telecast or during it.
00:13:42.000 But here was the thing.
00:13:44.000 I understand.
00:13:45.000 You were going to fall asleep from that telecast, but the blue light, right?
00:13:45.000 It was soporific.
00:13:48.000 The blue light kept you awake.
00:13:49.000 Well, if you've been wearing Blue Blocks, that wouldn't have been a problem for you.
00:13:52.000 When I discovered Blue Blocks and their sleep products, my sleep was completely transformed for the better.
00:13:56.000 Blue Blocks is an optimized health, sleep, and recovery company with evidence-backed products that have been tested under Australian lab conditions backed by peer-reviewed studies.
00:14:04.000 I have those Blue Blocks Sleep Plus Glasses and the Remedy Sleep Mask.
00:14:07.000 The Sleep Plus Glasses, they're an easy way to ensure you get the most out of your sleep every night.
00:14:10.000 You simply put them on two to three hours before bed for improved sleep, energy, and recovery.
00:14:14.000 It's an easy thing to do.
00:14:15.000 Everyone should be doing it.
00:14:17.000 The Sleep Plus Glasses come in non-prescription, prescription, and reading magnification options.
00:14:21.000 And that Remedy Sleep Mask, it's the best sleep mask I've ever tried.

00:14:59.000 All of this was prelude to the greatest moments maybe in Oscar history.
00:15:05.000 So, again, we have heard from our moral betters. 0.94
00:15:07.000 Gay, gay, gay, gay, gay, gay, gay, gay, gay, gay, gay, gay. 0.98
00:15:10.000 We have heard from our moral betters about ribbons for Ukraine. 0.80
00:15:14.000 We've heard from our moral betters about the pay gap as they receive their thousands of dollars in swag.
00:15:20.000 We've heard Mitch McConnell jokes, but all of this led up to Chris Rock making a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith.
00:15:26.000 Now Jada Pinkett Smith has alopecia, which means that she has lost some hair, which means that she cut her hair really close. 0.99
00:15:31.000 Apparently, Chris Rock did not know that.
00:15:33.000 And you make some sort of joke about how she looks like she should star in G.I. 0.98
00:15:37.000 Jane 2.
00:15:38.000 Okay, that's pretty light stuff.
00:15:40.000 As someone who gets roasted regularly on the internet, there are more than a few Ben Shapiro jokes out there, okay, guys?
00:15:46.000 And I find most of them actually pretty funny.
00:15:48.000 And by the way, there are a bunch of jokes out there about my wife, because I'm a public figure.
00:15:52.000 And my wife honestly finds them pretty funny most of the time.
00:15:55.000 But even if we don't find them funny, who cares?
00:15:57.000 That's called being a public figure.
00:15:59.000 And this is like the mildest joke anyone has ever told about Will Smith and Jada Pinkett, considering they have an open marriage and it is well known that Will Smith, let's just say that other dudes and Jada Pinkett has been a thing for a very long time within this marriage, like very publicly so.
00:16:17.000 So this is the mildest joke anyone has ever told about Jada Pinkett Smith.
00:16:20.000 On the list of jokes about Jada Pinkett Smith, this one is like, this ranks like 1,292.
00:16:26.000 And what's funny about this, actually, is that, as you will see, after Chris Rock tells this joke, they cut to Will Smith, he's laughing, and then he looks over at Jada Pinkett, and she's mad.
00:16:36.000 And then, the unthinkable occurs.
00:16:42.000 Jada, I love you, G.I.
00:16:44.000 Jane too, can't wait to see it, alright?
00:16:47.000 See, he's laughing, he's laughing, and then, and then, she's mad.
00:16:50.000 She's mad, you can see she's mad.
00:16:53.000 That was a nice one, okay.
00:16:55.000 I'm out here.
00:16:56.000 Uh-oh.
00:16:57.000 Richard.
00:16:58.000 Uh-oh.
00:16:59.000 And he thinks he's going to come up there and stage something with him.
00:17:02.000 Oh, wow.
00:17:03.000 And instead, Will Smith just launches into him and just cracks him across the face. 0.99
00:17:07.000 Will Smith just smacked the shit out of me. 1.00
00:17:08.000 Keep my wife's name out your fucking mouth. 1.00
00:17:15.000 Wow, dude. 1.00
00:17:16.000 Yes.
00:17:17.000 It was a GI Jane joke. 1.00
00:17:19.000 Keep my wife's name out your fucking mouth. 1.00
00:17:24.000 I'm going to, okay? 1.00
00:17:32.000 That was the greatest night in the history of television.
00:17:38.000 Okay.
00:17:40.000 So first of all, Chris Rock is more of a man for taking that slap than Will Smith is for throwing it.
00:17:47.000 You're on stage in front of several million people and somebody smacks you upside the head and you just take it like that?
00:17:52.000 First of all, Will Smith's a fairly big dude.
00:17:54.000 And he kind of launches into him right there, like the full Batman and Robin meme right there.
00:18:00.000 And I will say that the Lupita Nyong'o who's sitting behind him, Will Smith, there, her face is kind of everything in this.
00:18:09.000 She's like, I can't believe I'm at the same table with what's happening right now.
00:18:12.000 But the kind of, first of all, I just have to say this.
00:18:17.000 He gets into one little fight and now they need to send Will Smith to his auntie and uncle out in Bel Air.
00:18:22.000 That's what needs to happen here.
00:18:25.000 The moral standards of Hollywood are weird. 0.98
00:18:29.000 Will Smith is fine with other dudes and his wife having sex.
00:18:32.000 He is not fine with someone making a joke about his wife at the Oscars.
00:18:37.000 They've been public figures for about as long as I've been alive.
00:18:41.000 So that's, that was a weird, strange, now what was even weirder, and I won't say it's weird because it actually does say something about where we are in the country.
00:18:48.000 A huge number of people on Twitter came out from the left and were defending Will Smith.
00:18:53.000 Because after all, it was a bad joke.
00:18:54.000 It was a mean joke.
00:18:55.000 How dare he tell a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith? 0.78
00:18:57.000 She has alopecia.
00:18:58.000 He shouldn't tell that joke.
00:18:59.000 Okay, you might not like the joke.
00:19:01.000 You might think that the joke is bad.
00:19:02.000 We have a general rule in this country that when somebody makes a joke you don't like, you don't get to smack them upside the head.
00:19:10.000 I don't find this particularly shocking.
00:19:12.000 Truth be told.
00:19:13.000 That so much of the left is willing to defend this kind of stuff.
00:19:16.000 Because after all, the left has been willing to defend the idea that violence should be the response to quote-unquote microaggressions for years and years and years and years.
00:19:24.000 You know, I was on national television on CNN Headline News in, like, 2013, 2014, and a transgender woman, meaning a biological male, was sitting next to me, and I called him, sir.
00:19:34.000 And he threatened me on national TV while putting his hand on the back of my neck.
00:19:38.000 And the rest of us was like, well, you had that coming. 0.98
00:19:40.000 Assault is a decent response to you being labeled by your biological... Like, this is the way the left thinks now, which is that if I'm offended, I do get to smack you upside the head. 0.70
00:19:48.000 The only question is whether he's justified in smacking Chris Rock upside the head.
00:19:53.000 But it was definitely a weird moment.
00:19:55.000 Remember, these are all the people you should listen to.
00:19:58.000 These are the people who, when they chant gay, you should probably let your kids be educated by them. 1.00
00:20:02.000 They should set the standards for how you educate your kindergartner.
00:20:05.000 They literally can't keep other men's hands off their wife or their hands off other men who make fun of their wives, but they should definitely educate your kids.
00:20:12.000 Very, very important. 0.99
00:20:15.000 This is the crap. 0.98
00:20:16.000 By the way, one second later, Will Smith won the Oscar for King Richard, and he received a standing ovation from the crowd. 0.99
00:20:22.000 This is like within minutes of him smacking a dude upside the head on national TV for telling a joke he didn't like, or a joke he did like, but then didn't like.
00:20:30.000 Because, I will say this, for all the whipped men out there, the part where you're laughing at a joke about your spouse, and then you look over and your spouse is unhappy, and then you realize it.
00:20:42.000 That's happened to a lot of dudes.
00:20:43.000 The part where you get up and smack the dude, that's a different thing.
00:20:46.000 So, here is the crowd giving Will Smith a standing O. Wild cheering.
00:20:55.000 Yes!
00:20:56.000 Yes! 0.99
00:20:59.000 Get up there and smack somebody, Will! 0.97
00:21:01.000 Woo! 0.99
00:21:06.000 Oh, isn't that nice?
00:21:08.000 Okay, then Will Smith makes the typical Hollywood apology, which is, I'm sorry for just being too good a dude.
00:21:16.000 So here's Will Smith saying he is very, very sorry for being the most passionate lover in all the land.
00:21:22.000 Here we go.
00:21:29.000 I want to apologize to the Academy.
00:21:30.000 me. I want to apologize to all my fellow nominees. This is a beautiful moment, and I'm not crying for winning an award.
00:21:53.000 It's not about winning an award for me, it's about being able to shine light on all of the people, Tim and Trevor and Zach and Saniya and Demi and Anjanew and the entire cast and crew of King Richard and Venus and Serena, the
00:22:20.000 entire Williams family.
00:22:25.000 Art imitates life. 0.95
00:22:26.000 I look like the crazy father, just like they said. 0.82
00:22:29.000 I look like crazy father, just like they said about Richard Williams. 0.92
00:22:36.000 But love will make you do crazy things.
00:22:40.000 Love will make you do.
00:22:42.000 Crazy things.
00:22:42.000 There's something else in this speech that I think, again, goes to what Hollywood thinks of itself.
00:22:46.000 Hollywood believes that it is indeed, that this is what it's there to do.
00:22:49.000 It's there to shine a light.
00:22:51.000 There's a great old movie called Sullivan's Travels with Joel McRae, and it's a Preston Sturgess film.
00:22:55.000 The basic film, it's from the 40s, and the basic film is a man who has been making comedies for years.
00:23:01.000 And he decides that he is tired of making comedies that people actually like to watch.
00:23:04.000 Instead, he's going to make a film about the plight of the poor in the United States.
00:23:10.000 And so he goes on this journey across the United States.
00:23:13.000 It's a great movie.
00:23:14.000 And he ends up on a chain gang and he ends up suffering and he ends up as like a tramp and all of this kind of stuff.
00:23:19.000 And at the end of the movie, he realizes that his actual role is to make people laugh.
00:23:23.000 And he goes back to making comedies because this is what Hollywood is for.
00:23:25.000 Hollywood is to entertain us.
00:23:27.000 When Hollywood mixes it up, you can never make that movie today because that's all of Hollywood.
00:23:31.000 All of Hollywood has decided they're not there to entertain us.
00:23:33.000 They are there to act as models for us.
00:23:35.000 They're not our models. 1.00
00:23:36.000 They're a bunch of preening idiots. 1.00
00:23:38.000 They're a bunch of people who are very good at one thing and very bad at many, many other things. 1.00
00:23:43.000 Among those other things, thinking and acting morally.
00:23:47.000 Those are among the other things in Hollywood.
00:23:49.000 And so when they lecture you, or when they suggest that your values are somehow bereft, while their values are the ones you should listen to, you should just think of the Oscars.
00:23:56.000 So I'm glad the Oscars is out. 1.00
00:23:57.000 There's an object lesson in what the world looks like when these idiots rule it. 0.99
00:24:01.000 Because it's not exactly a pretty sight. 1.00
00:24:03.000 Okay.

00:25:25.000 In actual, more important news, let's get to what happened overseas.
00:25:28.000 So Joe Biden, our not all there president, went over to Europe over the weekend.
00:25:34.000 He was in Brussels and then he went over to Poland.
00:25:36.000 And while he was there, he just made a series of gaps.
00:25:40.000 As it turns out, having a man who verges on senility at the head of your country in the middle of a proxy war with the most armed nuclear power on planet Earth is not an ideal situation.
00:25:51.000 It's not great.
00:25:52.000 Now, Russia's military efforts have basically stalled out at this point.
00:25:56.000 Russia is now relegating its own desires back toward what I thought the original war aims were going to be, namely the splitting off Luhansk and Donetsk and the consolidation of power in Crimea.
00:26:07.000 They don't have the ability at this point to completely overthrow the government of Vladimir Zelensky, barring the use of some sort of weapons of mass destruction or barring some massive new conscription.
00:26:17.000 They don't have the ability to topple that government. 0.88
00:26:19.000 They don't have the ability to hold the country, even if they do topple the government.
00:26:21.000 This has become very clear to the Russians.
00:26:23.000 That does not mean that Vladimir Putin can afford to lose outright.
00:26:26.000 If he loses outright, there's a good shot that his regime is over.
00:26:30.000 And what this means is that now is a time for the West, as I've been saying for a while, to be looking, and Zelensky has been looking apparently, for an off-ramp here.
00:26:37.000 Because if there is no off-ramp, then the chances that Vladimir Putin gets more and more erratic as he is boxed in more and more grow.
00:26:44.000 According to Naftali Bennett, who's been sort of acting as a go-between between Ukraine and Russia, he said that the advances that the Russians are no longer trying to depose Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and fully demilitarize Ukraine in the negotiations.
00:26:57.000 Those advances are in the negotiations.
00:26:59.000 They're not insisting Zelensky go.
00:27:01.000 They're not trying to demilitarize Ukraine.
00:27:03.000 Ukraine is back down from trying to join NATO.
00:27:05.000 Now there's a territorial dispute.
00:27:07.000 Well, that is some pretty major movement from Russia right here.
00:27:10.000 And so it seems as though a space is at least beginning to open for an off-ramp.
00:27:14.000 In order for that off-ramp to be taken, however, the West cannot say things like Joe Biden said over the weekend.
00:27:19.000 So Joe Biden, he went off script three separate times over the course of the last four days.
00:27:24.000 All three were a mess.
00:27:25.000 All three were a real problem for Joe Biden, and for NATO, and for the West.
00:27:31.000 Because the entire idea here from the West is, you made a move, Vladimir Putin, and now we are boxing you in.
00:27:36.000 We're going to bring all pressure to bear to box you in, to stop you from making territorially aggressive moves, but we are not going to get into a shooting war with you.
00:27:44.000 And that's what everybody is in agreement on.
00:27:45.000 Contain Putin.
00:27:47.000 Do not let him advance his borders.
00:27:49.000 Do not allow him to take over Ukraine.
00:27:50.000 Do not allow him to fire off Okay, so all of this began on Friday, when Joe Biden dropped some language that he must think is clever, but his synapses are no longer firing properly, and even when they were firing properly, they weren't firing properly.
00:28:05.000 Joe Biden was never a great shakes.
00:28:07.000 When Joe Biden says that he has experience in foreign policy, it is akin to Amy Schumer saying she has experience in comedy.
00:28:12.000 Yes, you've been doing it for a while, but have you really been doing it?
00:28:15.000 Are you really any good at it?
00:28:16.000 So Joe Biden has never been right on a single major foreign policy issue of his entire lifetime.
00:28:20.000 Like never, ever, ever, ever.
00:28:22.000 So on Friday, he was talking about Putin using chemical weapons in Ukraine.
00:28:27.000 And instead of him either explaining precisely what would happen or making a vague threat, instead he used language that suggests the United States was going to use chemical weapons in response.
00:28:37.000 If chemical weapons were used in Ukraine, would that trigger a military response from NATO?
00:28:45.000 It would trigger a response in kind whether or not you're asking whether NATO would cross, but we'd make that decision at the time.
00:28:53.000 He thinks he's being smart because he's doing the I'm Joe Biden and I think I'm smart face, which is the.
00:28:59.000 But he's actually not being particularly smart.
00:29:02.000 He's not being particularly smart because when you use the word in kind, what you mean is I'm going to respond exactly the same way.
00:29:06.000 So if Chris Rock had responded in kind to Will Smith, he would have smacked him upside the head, right?
00:29:10.000 So then the White House had to walk that back.
00:29:11.000 Oh, no, no, we're not going to use chemical.
00:29:12.000 Well, thank you.
00:29:14.000 OK, then on Saturday, Joe Biden met with American troops in Brussels, and he proceeded to explain to American troops that they will be in Ukraine.
00:29:25.000 You're gonna see when you're there.
00:29:26.000 Some of you have been there.
00:29:27.000 You're gonna see.
00:29:27.000 are not going to enter Ukraine because we don't want to be in an actual shooting war with the Russians.
00:29:31.000 So, yeah, here's your doddering president.
00:29:47.000 I don't know.
00:29:48.000 You know when you're in Ukraine?
00:29:49.000 I don't imagine.
00:29:51.000 Okay, so then, the White House had to walk that one back.
00:29:54.000 Because, oh no, you're not going to Ukraine.
00:29:57.000 Why does he keep saying these things?
00:30:00.000 Now, the reason this is a problem, guys, is because Vladimir Putin's entire Predicate for this war.
00:30:06.000 What he said publicly was NATO is attempting to expand its eastward borders.
00:30:10.000 It is attempting to overthrow my regime and the movement of Ukraine toward the West threatens my regime. 0.94
00:30:17.000 And Joe Biden kept saying that's not true.
00:30:19.000 This is a purely defensive arrangement, which is true, right?
00:30:21.000 That is true.
00:30:21.000 NATO is a defensive arrangement.
00:30:23.000 It was not interested in spreading its tentacles into Russia per se.
00:30:28.000 Well, then Joe Biden just keeps upping the ante here and basically admitting what Putin wants him to say.
00:30:35.000 So he keeps escalating the rhetoric, which actually is not particularly helpful when you're seeking the off-ramp, right?
00:30:40.000 Putin has to have an off-ramp.
00:30:42.000 Magnanimity and victory is typically the way that you win wars.
00:30:45.000 So Joe Biden says he's a butcher.
00:30:47.000 That's true. 0.99
00:30:48.000 Vladimir Putin is a butcher. 0.97
00:30:49.000 The question is, is it useful for Joe Biden to be saying that Vladimir Putin is a butcher? 0.98
00:30:54.000 You're dealing every day with Vladimir Putin.
00:30:57.000 Look at what he's done to these people.
00:30:59.000 What does it make you think? 0.69
00:31:00.000 He's a butcher.
00:31:02.000 He's a butcher.
00:31:02.000 Okay.
00:31:02.000 And then he continues along these lines and he gave a speech in Poland and the speech was fine until it wasn't.
00:31:11.000 So he started off by talking about how he was confident that Putin wanted to divide NATO.
00:31:16.000 This is actually at a presser right before the speech.
00:31:19.000 This is when he was meeting with the Polish president Andrzej Duda.
00:31:23.000 I'm confident that Vladimir Putin was counting on being able to divide NATO, to be able to separate the eastern flank from the west, be able to separate nations based on past histories.
00:31:38.000 But he hadn't been able to do it.
00:31:40.000 We've all stayed together.
00:31:41.000 Okay, and then he continued along these lines.
00:31:45.000 He said, Europe has to end its dependence on Russian fossil fuels.
00:31:47.000 This is in his big speech in Warsaw.
00:31:50.000 Right now, it was fine, the speech was okay, and as I say, until it wasn't.
00:31:55.000 First of all, it's very easy for him to say that Europe has to end its dependence on Russian fossil fuels.
00:31:58.000 You know what would've been nice there is if America had ramped up its production so that Europe had not been dependent on Russian fossil fuels.
00:32:04.000 Instead, they decided to outsource their energy policy to a small Swedish child who does not know anything.
00:32:10.000 But Greta's disappointed in you.
00:32:12.000 And so they're like, okay, fine, we'll outsource our entire energy production to Vladimir Putin.
00:32:14.000 That worked out great.
00:32:16.000 Here is Joe Biden.
00:32:18.000 Europe must end its dependence on Russian fossil fuels.
00:32:22.000 And we, the United States, will help.
00:32:23.000 It's a matter of economic security and national security for the survivability of the planet.
00:32:28.000 We all need to move as quickly as possible to clean renewable energy.
00:32:32.000 And we'll work together to help get that done.
00:32:36.000 Let us remember that the test of this moment is the test of all time.
00:32:39.000 A criminal wants to portray NATO enlargement as an imperial project aimed at destabilizing Russia.
00:32:43.000 gap yet. Okay, so he continues and then he says it's a lie that we want to expand NATO imperially. That's not what we're looking for.
00:32:49.000 Let us remember that the test of this moment is the test of all time.
00:32:55.000 A criminal wants to portray NATO enlargement as an imperial project aimed at destabilizing Russia. Nothing is further from the truth.
00:33:05.000 NATO is a defensive alliance.
00:33:08.000 It has never sought the demise of Russia.
00:33:12.000 Okay.
00:33:13.000 Fine.
00:33:14.000 True.
00:33:15.000 NATO is a defensive alliance.
00:33:16.000 It's not seeking the demise of Russia.
00:33:17.000 They're not seeking to overturn the regime in Russia.
00:33:20.000 Five seconds later, Joe Biden calls Putin a murderer.
00:33:23.000 And then, off of the teleprompter, because this man should never be allowed to stray from teleprompter, he immediately says that Putin has to go.
00:33:32.000 And this is the only headline that comes out of his trip to Europe, basically.
00:33:36.000 We will have a different future, a brighter future, rooted in democracy and principle, hope and light, of decency and dignity, of freedom and possibilities.
00:33:44.000 For God's sake, this man cannot remain in power.
00:33:49.000 For God's sake, this man cannot remain in power.
00:33:53.000 So, he then calls for regime change.
00:33:55.000 He says, NATO is a defensive alliance, also regime change.
00:34:00.000 Okay, so now you've granted Putin his premise, which is that the entire purpose of this conflict was the West ceding the Ukrainian situation in order to overthrow Putin somehow.
00:34:11.000 Putin can't remain in power.
00:34:13.000 Does that sound like an off-ramp to you?
00:34:15.000 Now imagine you're Putin for a second.
00:34:17.000 Imagine that you are a territorially aggressive dictator sitting atop a crumbling empire with no economy to speak of.
00:34:24.000 And now you're engaged in a war that you miscalculated and you're losing.
00:34:28.000 And the person across the table from you says, you have to leave.
00:34:32.000 You need to go.
00:34:33.000 Are you more or less likely to use some sort of weapon of mass destruction?
00:34:37.000 Are you more or less likely to start bombing the living hell out of civilians in order to ratchet up the tensions?
00:34:42.000 Which is more likely?
00:34:44.000 So this is a major boo-boo by Biden.
00:34:48.000 When Ronald Reagan went to Brandenburg Gate, And said, Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall.
00:34:56.000 A couple of things.
00:34:57.000 One, he didn't actually say, Mr. Gorbachev, the entire Soviet Union needs to fall and you need to be replaced.
00:35:03.000 He didn't say that because that would have been bad politics.
00:35:05.000 He said that you should release this country from the grip of your tyranny.
00:35:09.000 And Biden has said that about Ukraine.
00:35:13.000 Also, that was all scripted and the media went nuts about it.
00:35:16.000 Well, as we'll see, the media were so happy with Joe Biden for this ad lib.
00:35:20.000 They were so happy until they weren't.
00:35:22.000 Because as it turns out, the White House has to keep making... They're the night nurse. 0.99
00:35:26.000 The White House and the media are the night nurse for this administration. 0.72
00:35:29.000 Joe Biden craps the bed, everybody comes in at night, and they clean the bedpan, and they take away the sheets, and they replace them.
00:35:35.000 And they have to make sure that the mattress is covered in plastic every single night.
00:35:40.000 Because this guy craps the bed on the regular.
00:35:42.000 And it is ugly and it has real ramifications for foreign policy.
00:35:45.000 So the media reacted with just joy and wonder at Joe Biden's announcement that Vladimir Putin had to go.
00:35:51.000 There's only one problem, Joe Biden did not mean that.
00:35:53.000 We'll get to more on that in just one moment.
00:35:55.000 First, with the ever-increasing number of car makes and models, it is impossible to stock all the parts you need in a traditional chain storefront.
00:36:01.000 Which is why when you go to an auto parts store, you're probably wasting your time.
00:36:03.000 You get up to the front after waiting 20 minutes in line, and the guy behind the counter's like, no bro, don't got it, gotta order it online and upcharge you.
00:36:10.000 So, you could do that and wait a couple weeks, or you could just go to rockauto.com and do it yourself.
00:36:15.000 Why would you choose to spend 30%, 50%, 100% more for the same exact auto parts at a chain store or new car dealership?
00:36:21.000 Rockauto.com, it's a family business serving auto parts customers online for 20 years.
00:36:25.000 Head on over to RockAuto.com shop for auto and body parts from hundreds of manufacturers.
00:36:29.000 We've got everything from engine control modules and brake parts to tail lamps, motor oil, even new carpet.
00:36:34.000 Whether it's for a classic or daily driver, get everything you need in a few easy clicks delivered directly to your door.
00:36:38.000 The RockAuto.com catalog, it's unique, it's remarkably easy to navigate.
00:36:41.000 You can quickly see all the parts available for your vehicle.
00:36:44.000 Choose the brands, specifications, and prices that you prefer.
00:36:46.000 Best of all, prices at RockAuto.com are always reliably low and the same for professionals and do-it-yourselfers.
00:36:51.000 I spend up to twice as much for the same parts.
00:36:54.000 Amazing selection.
00:36:54.000 Reliably low prices.
00:36:55.000 All the parts your car will ever need.
00:36:57.000 Rockauto.com.
00:36:58.000 Head on over to rockauto.com right now.
00:37:00.000 See all the parts available for your car or truck.
00:37:02.000 And write Shapiro in their How Did You Hear About Us box so they know that I sent you.
00:37:05.000 You're listening to the largest, fastest growing conservative podcast and radio show in the nation.
00:37:08.000 So Joe Biden makes this big boo-boo.
00:37:15.000 He makes this big gaffe.
00:37:16.000 Again, this is like his third gaffe of the weekend that he had to walk back.
00:37:18.000 There was the chemical weapons in kind gaffe, and then there was the American troops will be in Ukraine gaffe, which he had to walk back, and then there was the Putin has to go, and this was the headline.
00:37:29.000 It was like the chyron on CNN and all the rest. 0.99
00:37:31.000 Okay, so the original take, when they thought that it was scripted, was celebration.
00:37:35.000 So many people on the left just so happy about all of this.
00:37:39.000 So Paul Macero, for example, who is a foreign policy guy, works for one of these kind of left-wing foreign policy organizations.
00:37:47.000 He tweeted, for God's sake, this man cannot remain in power as Biden's Mr. Gorbachev tear down this wall.
00:37:53.000 Tara Setmire, a political voice of the left, President Biden may have just given his tear down this wall speech. 0.99
00:38:00.000 Wow.
00:38:01.000 Wow.
00:38:02.000 You have Adam Edelen.
00:38:04.000 Again, another blue checkmark.
00:38:06.000 Renewable energy developer.
00:38:07.000 Historic moral clarity that recalls Reagan's tear down this wall.
00:38:09.000 I'm proud of America leading from the front once again.
00:38:12.000 Proud of my president, Rick Wilson, who, his heel turn, his David Brock-like heel turn sans cocaine has been astonishing to watch.
00:38:22.000 Here's why the GOP is flailing on this.
00:38:23.000 Biden did tear down this wall for our era.
00:38:25.000 And many, not all, but many in the GOP would much rather have Putin in power than not.
00:38:29.000 Okay, first of all, that's not true.
00:38:31.000 I mean, I would much rather not have Putin in power.
00:38:33.000 I also recognize that he is in control of about 6,000 nuclear warheads.
00:38:37.000 Jennifer Rubin, who is just... Jennifer Rubin is beyond parody.
00:38:40.000 She's now a parody of Jennifer Rubin. 0.99
00:38:42.000 I also love the fact that Jennifer Rubin, it's not just that she loves Ukraine.
00:38:45.000 She loves Ukraine so much, she put the flag in her profile twice.
00:38:48.000 That's how much she loves Ukraine.
00:38:50.000 Not just once.
00:38:51.000 Two times.
00:38:52.000 She loves it twice as much as you do.
00:38:54.000 Or maybe infinity times if you don't have the Ukraine flag in your profile.
00:38:56.000 She tweeted, Biden makes a speech akin to those at the Brandenburg Gate by JFK and Reagan.
00:39:01.000 In a square with a crowd, his delivery is quite strong.
00:39:04.000 Okay, now there's only one problem.
00:39:09.000 The White House immediately walks this back.
00:39:11.000 Like, immediately.
00:39:13.000 Larry Sabato did the same thing, by the way, of University of Virginia politics.
00:39:16.000 He used to be kind of an interesting voice.
00:39:17.000 Now he's lost it.
00:39:18.000 Because watching Biden's Warsaw speech reminds me of JFK's Ich bin ein Berliner and Reagan's Mr. Gorbachev tear down this wall.
00:39:24.000 Masterful!
00:39:25.000 Now it gives Zelensky more of everything.
00:39:26.000 Okay, only one problem.
00:39:27.000 The White House, within minutes, was walking this back.
00:39:30.000 Within minutes.
00:39:32.000 According to Reuters, quote, U.S.
00:39:33.000 President Joe Biden was not calling for regime change in Russia when he said on Saturday that Russian President Vladimir Putin cannot remain in power, a White House official said.
00:39:42.000 Oh, really?
00:39:43.000 Because it sounded like he was calling for Vladimir Putin not to remain in power.
00:39:47.000 What they actually tried to say, I'm not kidding, what they actually tried to say that he meant was Vladimir Putin cannot remain in power in Ukraine.
00:39:54.000 He's not in power in Ukraine, guys.
00:39:56.000 Zelensky's in power in Ukraine.
00:39:59.000 So, no, you can't walk that one back and pretend you never said it. 0.96
00:40:03.000 So, it turns out that having a doddering old fool in charge of the United States in the middle of an international, possibly weapons-of-mass-destruction-oriented crisis is not exactly ideal. 0.97
00:40:15.000 It's not exactly ideal. 0.98
00:40:16.000 And, by the way, everybody else is noticing. 0.99
00:40:18.000 Other nations are noticing that this guy is just a buffoon. 0.97
00:40:20.000 I mean, they noticed it after he pulled out of Afghanistan and the British Parliament tried to censor him. 0.95
00:40:25.000 And they're noticing it now.
00:40:26.000 There are headlines in Europe talking about the chaos that Biden had left behind.
00:40:29.000 Emmanuel Macron, the leader of France, he said, I wouldn't use this type of wording.
00:40:33.000 I continue to hold discussions with President Putin.
00:40:35.000 We want to stop the war Russia has launched in Ukraine without escalation. 0.68
00:40:38.000 That's the objective.
00:40:39.000 If this is what we want to do, we shouldn't escalate things, neither with words nor actions.
00:40:43.000 Even President Obama's former head of the CIA, Michael Morrell, he said, yeah, this was a rather large scale mistake.
00:40:50.000 I think his comment that Putin had to go was an unforced error.
00:40:55.000 It makes it, it strengthens Putin at home, makes it difficult for any domestic opposition to coalesce together.
00:41:03.000 And no Russian citizen, none, wants to be told by the leader of Russia's main enemy about what their leadership can look like and not.
00:41:11.000 I think framing it as democracy versus autocracy drives the Chinese closer to the Russians and makes it difficult for some of our own allies who are autocrats to stand with us.
00:41:23.000 He's not wrong about any of this, by the way.
00:41:25.000 And then NATO Ambassador Julianne Smith is the American ambassador to NATO.
00:41:31.000 She went on CNN and she's trying to defend Biden's activities.
00:41:35.000 And as soon as she's asked about Biden's regime change comment, she basically starts running.
00:41:38.000 There's now a Julianne Smith sized hole in the background.
00:41:40.000 She runs directly through the hole to get away from the question.
00:41:44.000 Let's start with President Biden's comment yesterday that Vladimir Putin cannot remain in power.
00:41:50.000 The White House said quickly that he was not discussing Putin's power in Russia or regime change.
00:41:56.000 Was that comment a mistake?
00:41:57.000 In the moment, I think that was a principled human reaction to the stories that he had heard that day.
00:42:04.000 But no, as you've heard from Secretary Blinken and others, the U.S.
00:42:08.000 does not have a policy of regime change in Russia.
00:42:12.000 Full stop.
00:42:14.000 Whoops.
00:42:15.000 Okay, so that's a big boo-boo.
00:42:16.000 And again, it offers Putin a propaganda victory for his people back home, who he is now telling that they're trying to oust me.
00:42:22.000 They're trying to get rid of me.
00:42:23.000 That's what this is all about.
00:42:24.000 I've been telling you since the beginning we need to take Ukraine, because if we don't take Ukraine, they're going to try and topple the regime.
00:42:29.000 And then Joe Biden just said it right out. 1.00
00:42:30.000 Because Joe Biden is an idiot. 1.00
00:42:32.000 And Joe Biden always thinks he's more articulate than he is. 1.00
00:42:34.000 Because Joe Biden... He's your confidence guy on your basketball team.
00:42:37.000 He's the confidence guy. 0.99
00:42:38.000 The guy who... You bring him in off the bench, and he just sucks. 1.00
00:42:41.000 He's terrible. 0.99
00:42:42.000 But he chucks up a three.
00:42:43.000 Like, you throw him the ball, and it's just going toward the general direction of the basketball, but never in.
00:42:47.000 That is Joe Biden.
00:42:48.000 Irrational confidence guy.
00:42:51.000 Meanwhile, the situation in Ukraine for the Russians continues to be basically stalled out.
00:42:56.000 Russia has not grown closer to taking Kiev.
00:42:59.000 They probably don't even have the resources to take Kiev at this point.
00:43:02.000 According to the New York Times, Russian forces redoubled attacks on strategic targets across Ukraine on Sunday.
00:43:07.000 With fierce fighting reported around the capital, Kiev, amid signs the besieged city of Mariupol was close to falling.
00:43:13.000 As the conflict moved into its second month, Russian forces have largely failed in their first aim to take the larger cities and have narrowed immediate targets to the sieges of southern port city of Mariupol and the strategically placed city of Chernihiv in the north.
00:43:24.000 Air raid sirens rang out in Kiev during the day.
00:43:26.000 Otherwise, the city remained calm, lending some credence to the Russian Defense Ministry's recent assertion it was turning its focus away from Kiev to concentrate on the Eastern Front.
00:43:33.000 Some Russian units were withdrawing to Belarus in the north to regroup and re-equip.
00:43:37.000 According to the Ukrainian military, heavy Russian artillery attacks continued around the journey northeast of Kiev.
00:43:42.000 It would not be a surprise at this point, by the way, if some pretext was created for Belarus to get involved in the war and start shipping men and material across that border to the north of Ukraine.
00:43:53.000 Seven people, including two kids, died in artillery fire in Kharkiv in northeast Ukraine as Russian forces tried to subdue the city near the border, the Ukrainian news media reported.
00:44:00.000 Missiles hit a fuel depot in western Ukraine as Russia continued to use airstrikes to disrupt supply lines to Ukrainian forces.
00:44:07.000 Ukraine's top military intel officer suggested Russia was actually changing its military focus to the south and the east and might be trying to divide Ukraine between occupied and non-occupied territories.
00:44:18.000 Brigadier General Kirill Obudinov, the head of the Intelligence Division of Ukraine's Ministry of Defense, according to the New York Times, says, quote, In fact, this is an attempt to create North and South Korea in Ukraine.
00:44:28.000 And that's correct.
00:44:29.000 But the truth is, I'm not sure that there's going to be a lot of choice here, given the fact that Ukraine does not have the weaponry or materiel to actually expel Russia from Luhansk and Donetsk.
00:44:37.000 That is an ongoing war that's been happening since 2014, when the U.S.
00:44:41.000 succeeded to Vladimir Putin's original invasion of Ukraine in Crimea and Luhansk and Donetsk.
00:44:46.000 Those Russian forces are not going to be uprooted, not by Western power, not by Ukrainian power.
00:44:50.000 And so the best that you're going to end up with probably here is something akin to what I've been suggesting for weeks, which is some sort of territorial concessions by the Lenski administration in Ukraine simply to end this thing for now.
00:45:03.000 Now listen, no foreign policy settlement is final.
00:45:06.000 And maybe at some point in the future, those areas will be liberated again by Ukraine.
00:45:10.000 But they don't have the power to expel Russia from those areas.
00:45:13.000 Meanwhile, NATO can't even guarantee that they're going to give Zelensky what he wants.
00:45:16.000 So you got Joe Biden out there calling on Vladimir Putin to be thrown out of power.
00:45:20.000 And at the same time, the NATO ambassador is like, yeah, we're not even sure we're going to give Zelensky all the weaponry.
00:45:24.000 How do you how do you seek to accomplish what you say you seek to accomplish?
00:45:27.000 We've spoken with President Zelensky many times in recent weeks.
00:45:31.000 We've heard their requests for assistance.
00:45:33.000 In many cases, we've delivered those anti-aircraft, anti-armor capabilities.
00:45:40.000 We are assessing their air defense needs.
00:45:42.000 But the answer is no.
00:45:43.000 If you're asking about the Soviet-era jets, the United States has decided that the particular proposal put forward by Poland is untenable.
00:45:53.000 Okay, so just to get this straight.
00:45:55.000 According to the Biden administration, too scary and offensive to allow jets to be shipped to the Ukrainians so they can defend themselves.
00:46:01.000 Not offensive to call for full regime change in Russia that you then have to walk back because the president is senile.
00:46:06.000 That's a hell of a move right there.
00:46:08.000 Alrighty, we'll be back here later today with an additional hour of content.
