Summary

The Biden White House is holding a holiday party for white people of color, and it s racist, sexist, and anti-Semitic, according to a new report by the New York Times. The White House has invited white people to a party thrown by Black people for white elected officials in order to celebrate the holiday season, but is it racist or sexist? And is it anti-racist or anti-Semitism? What's the difference between the two? And what does it have to do with diversity and inclusion? And why does it matter who attends the party? Guest: Dr. Joe Biden, the president of the United States, and his wife, Jill Biden, a pediatrician, are celebrating the holidays in a way that is racist and sexist. Guest: Michelle Wu, the mayor of Boston, who invited Black Electeds of Color to a white-only party to celebrate Black History Month, and why that s racist. Plus, a look at the history of the TAP routine at the White House, and what it means for Black people in general, and how it relates to Black culture and Black culture in general. 00:00:00.000 There are two major problems with the notion of diversity, equity, and inclusion, or DEI.
00:00:05.000 The first is the inherent discrimination in the concept, the belief that all aspects of success are due to exploitation and discrimination.
00:00:13.000 This means that when applied to groups, statistically underperforming groups are to be considered victimized, whether or not they are victims, and to be treated with special privileges.
00:00:21.000 Those who are members of statistically overachieving groups, whether or not they are victimized, are to be treated as villains.
00:00:27.000 The only possible exception to this hierarchy is white men, who are always to be treated as villains, whether their group is underperforming or overperforming in any given situation.
00:00:35.000 This philosophy is how you get a holiday party for electeds of color, thrown by Asian Boston Mayor, Michelle Wu.
00:00:41.000 Apparently, this electeds of color party has been a thing for a decade in Boston.
00:00:45.000 Here was Wu defending it.
00:00:48.000 Members of the Boston City Council received an email invitation to what's called a gathering of electeds of color.
00:00:55.000 Not all members of the council fit that description.
00:00:59.000 I think we've had individual conversations with everyone so people understand that it was truly just an honest mistake that went out in typing the email field and I look forward to celebrating with everyone at the holiday parties that we will have besides this one as well.
00:01:16.000 So it is my intention that we can again be a city that lives our values and creates space for all kinds of communities to come together.
00:01:26.000 Living your values requires segregated parties.
00:01:29.000 This is obviously discriminatory and wrong.
00:01:31.000 If there were a white elected-only party, of course that would be violative of federal discrimination law.
00:01:35.000 But DEI insists that you cannot be wrong so long as you're a member of the victimhood hierarchy.
00:01:40.000 So that's the first problem with DEI.
00:01:42.000 It's racist.
00:01:43.000 Then there is the second problem, not disconnected with the first.
00:01:46.000 Mediocrity.
00:01:47.000 If success is to be treated as sinful, and failure as virtuous, because victimhood is virtue, then mediocrity is the happy middle, where you can avoid being completely terrible at things, but also escape censure for being actually good at them.
00:01:59.000 So it is in academia, where racially diverse mediocrity is preferable to non-race-based meritocratic achievement.
00:02:05.000 See, for example, Harvard, where President Claudine Gay, despite apparently being both a serial plagiarist and a soft-on anti-Semitism leader, is still in her job.
00:02:13.000 Or see Chicago, where Mayor Brandon Johnson, the even worse successor to Lori Lightfoot, announced his plans this week to kill Chicago's high-achieving selective enrollment schools, since they weren't racially diverse enough.
00:02:24.000 Chicago Public Schools CEO Pedro Martinez has put forth a resolution seeking, quote, a transition away from privatization and admissions enrollment policies and approaches that further stratification and inequity in CPS and drive student enrollment away from neighborhood schools.
00:02:39.000 Better that high-achieving students be trapped in the crappy local school than they be able to go to a better school.
00:02:44.000 Mediocrity for everyone!
00:02:46.000 And so it is at the White House, too, where equity prevails above all.
00:02:51.000 Now, when the Biden White House promised that equity would be at the heart of all they do, they meant it, which presumably is why Dr. Joe Biden, the greatest of all mediocrities, She's a doctor, guys.
00:03:00.000 The most doctor-ish doctor who ever doctored.
00:03:03.000 She invited the Dorrance Dance Company to perform a version of the Nutcracker Ballet at the White House.
00:03:08.000 Now, there's nothing wrong with the concept here.
00:03:09.000 The Nutcracker, written by Tchaikovsky, is a famous Christmastime piece of culture, and tap dance is a historically Black American art form with a long and storied Hollywood history.
00:03:19.000 Many, if not most, of the greatest tap artists in history have been Black Americans, from the Nicholas Brothers to Bill Bojangles Robinson to Gregory Hines.
00:03:25.000 In fact, here's some tape of what truly amazing TAP looks like.
00:03:28.000 like this, the Nicholas brothers from Stormy Weather in 1943.
00:03:30.000 There's a lot of people who are going to be watching this. So, I'm going to be doing
00:03:37.000 a little bit of that. I mean, this is the good stuff right here, right?
00:04:05.000 Okay, now, of course, like most of the amazing stuff in America, TAP has been adopted by people of all cultures.
00:04:10.000 That's how you end up with Gene Kelly and Fred Astaire, two of the great American artists of all time.
00:04:15.000 So there was plenty of history and quality for the Biden White House to choose from in picking their Christmas TAP routine.
00:04:20.000 Well, what the White House presented wasn't good TAP.
00:04:23.000 It wasn't terrible.
00:04:25.000 It was just kind of weird and meh.
00:04:27.000 Here's the tape.
00:04:31.000 For those who can't see, it's kind of weirdly attired lady dancing down the halls of the Hunger Games White House here.
00:04:40.000 And then a weird guy with, um, a lot of weird people dressed in weird costumes.
00:04:46.000 And everybody's kind of just walking down the halls and nothing's happening.
00:04:55.000 And creepy faces.
00:04:57.000 At no point is any serious dancing.
00:05:01.000 You can't see their feet?
00:05:01.000 I don't know why this is supposed to be good.
00:05:07.000 But it is diverse, so there's that.
00:05:09.000 I mean, it's obviously not good.
00:05:13.000 Like, these people, I'm sure, are great dancers, so why can't we actually see them dance?
00:05:16.000 Like, that'd be good.
00:05:19.000 Okay, so why was Dorrance Dance picked to do this much-mocked routine?
00:05:23.000 I'm not the only one who thought it was meh.
00:05:25.000 Presumably, it had something to do with the politics of the group.
00:05:28.000 Michelle Dorrance, founder of the group, has dedicated the group to quote-unquote anti-racism.
00:05:32.000 Here's what she wrote on her website.
00:05:33.000 Quote, it is our job to tell the history of tap dance as a celebration of black culture and also the never-ending struggle against systematic racism and white supremacy in this country.
00:05:43.000 The origin story of appropriation in American culture In 2020, says Michelle Dorans, I'm part of the way this story plays out.
00:05:50.000 I'm a white tap dancer with black cultural ancestors in a society that privileges white people and whiteness.
00:05:57.000 I am easy for white audiences wanting to access and experience elements of black culture to swallow.
00:06:02.000 As though Americans are supremely opposed to black tap dancers, which, um, no.
00:06:07.000 Doranz says that tap dance is, quote, both a tradition born of subversion, revolution, and protest, and a powerful vehicle for social and political change, and adds that as a beneficiary of white privilege, I invite you to join me in lifelong anti-racism work.
00:06:22.000 Understanding how deeply embedded white supremacy, racism, and colonialism is in our culture is paramount to understanding our role as white people in perpetuating it and embracing our job to dismantle it.
00:06:34.000 Or, you know, you could just dance and do like a good dance routine.
00:06:39.000 Because here's the reality of a free country.
00:06:41.000 Equality improves everyone and everything.
00:06:44.000 All the black tap artists I mentioned before did more for racial comedy and black Americans than Michelle Dorrance ever will.
00:06:49.000 Because they demonstrated to anyone who would even idiotically think that race ought to define somebody.
00:06:54.000 That incredible artistry spans race, transcends it.
00:06:58.000 But here's the thing, when DEI is your goal, mediocrity all too often is the result.
00:07:03.000 In just one second, We'll get to a fascinating cultural story about the beheading of a satanic statue.
00:07:09.000 We'll get to that.

00:08:15.000 With Helix, better sleep starts right now.
00:08:17.000 Okay, meanwhile, over in Iowa, fascinating story.
00:08:22.000 Apparently, there was a satanic temple display inside the Iowa State Capitol, and it was destroyed by a person named Michael Cassidy, 35.
00:08:31.000 He was then charged, he turned himself in, with fourth-degree criminal mischief.
00:08:35.000 In a text message to Fox News Digital, Cassidy confirmed he tore down the satanic display, which was erected last week by the Satanic Temple of Iowa to represent the group's right to religious freedom.
00:08:44.000 Cassidy said it was extremely anti-Christian.
00:08:47.000 Cassidy had previously run an unsuccessful campaign for Congress in 2022.
00:08:51.000 He didn't elaborate on why he tore the statue down, but he posted a Bible verse on Thursday night to X after being charged.
00:08:57.000 Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil as a roaring lion walketh about
00:09:01.000 seeking whom he may devour.
00:09:03.000 In a Facebook post, the Satanic Temple of Iowa wrote that the display was quote unquote
00:09:06.000 beyond repair.
00:09:09.000 The group wrote, we ask that for safety.
00:09:10.000 Visitors travel together and use the seven tenets as a reminder for empathy and the knowledge that justice is being pursued the correct way through legal means.
00:09:16.000 Happy holidays.
00:09:17.000 Hail Satan.
00:09:19.000 The Iowa Republican governor, Kim Reynolds, condemned the display's presence, but she said it should be countered with more speech.
00:09:23.000 She said, like many Iowans, I find the satanic temples display in the Capitol absolutely objectionable.
00:09:28.000 In a free society, the best response to objectionable speech is more speech.
00:09:31.000 I encourage all those of faith to join me today in praying over the Capitol and recognizing the nativity scene that will be on display the true reason for the season.
00:09:38.000 The co-founder of the Satanic Temple, a person named Lucian Graves, had previously told local media that the display would be up for two weeks.
00:09:45.000 Okay, so let's talk about this.
00:09:45.000 to really relish the opportunity to be represented in a public forum. We don't have a church on every
00:09:49.000 street corner. My feeling is if people don't like our display in public fora, they don't have to
00:09:52.000 engage with them. They don't have to view them. Okay, so let's talk about this. First of all,
00:09:56.000 for the guy who knocked the head off the statue, This actually is the way you do public protest, by the way.
00:10:03.000 Is if you are actually going to do this, you then accept the consequences for that thing, right?
00:10:06.000 He knocked the head off the statue and then he turned himself into the police.
00:10:09.000 Unlike all these morons you see who are blocking the freeway, who are then very, very upset that they're getting arrested.
00:10:13.000 Like when it comes to civil disobedience, which is what this is, when you participate in civil disobedience, you then turn yourself in.
00:10:19.000 That is the way that it works.
00:10:20.000 So there's that.
00:10:22.000 Then, there's the question of whether he did anything quote-unquote morally wrong in knocking down the statue.
00:10:28.000 Now, this is only mildly questionable.
00:10:31.000 The answer is no.
00:10:33.000 He didn't do anything morally wrong in knocking down the statue of a satanic group.
00:10:37.000 I'm sorry he didn't.
00:10:39.000 On a moral level, you have no moral right to promote a non-religion that is specifically directed at hatred of Christians.
00:10:45.000 That's exactly what this is.
00:10:47.000 Now, you may have a legal right to do that, but that's not the same thing as a moral right to do it.
00:10:51.000 These are two different types of right.
00:10:53.000 We have all sorts of legal rights to do things that are immoral in American society, so we have to separate those two things off.
00:10:58.000 Because, very often, when we're talking about rights, we tend to conflate them.
00:11:01.000 We tend to think something is legal, therefore it's moral.
00:11:03.000 Or it's moral, therefore it's legal.
00:11:05.000 No, that's not the same thing.
00:11:07.000 It is legal to use the N-word, for example.
00:11:08.000 It is immoral to do so.
00:11:10.000 You should not.
00:11:12.000 Similarly, it is not immoral to knock down a satanic statue.
00:11:15.000 It may be illegal to do so.
00:11:17.000 Because the law is supposed to protect private property.
00:11:20.000 Okay, but that raises the question as to why the law does that.
00:11:23.000 So, you see Kim Reynolds there say that this is protected speech, that putting up a satanic display at the state capitol, sponsored by the state, presumably, is some form of freedom of speech.
00:11:34.000 And that really does require us to ask a specific question, a question that we have not asked in a long time in this country, which is, what is a legitimate religion?
00:11:43.000 Not all religions are actually religions.
00:11:45.000 Satanism is a perfect example of a non-religion.
00:11:47.000 It is an ideology masquerading as a religion.
00:11:50.000 And if you view the satanic website, they openly say things like, we don't worship, we don't even believe there is a thing called Satan.
00:11:56.000 It's not like we're actually worshiping a godlike being known as, we don't even believe in God.
00:12:03.000 So what it really is, is just a political agenda pretending that it's a religious agenda.
00:12:07.000 So to pretend that this is religious speech is obviously not true.
00:12:11.000 In fact, if you go back to the founding, there's no way that the founding fathers, under the rubric of freedom of religion, would have included anyone who calls themselves a religion.
00:12:19.000 In fact, the IRS does this all the time.
00:12:20.000 There are certain cult-like groups that try to declare themselves a religion.
00:12:24.000 The IRS will be like, no, you're not a religion.
00:12:25.000 Don't believe you.
00:12:26.000 Which means you don't have freedom of religion rights in the same way that, say, a nativity scene at a Capitol building would, or Hanukkah menorah at a Capitol building would.
00:12:37.000 So, again, legally speaking, this kind of bizarre libertarian notion that has been picked up on by a lot of Republicans, that it's just an aspect of freedom of religion to put up a satanic display at a state capitol, there's really not a lot of legal backing to support that idea.
00:12:49.000 There's a good piece by a lawyer named Frank DeVito over at the American Conservative a few months back, in which he talks specifically about this.
00:12:57.000 He is currently an attorney serving as counsel at the Napa Legal Institute, and he writes about this.
00:13:02.000 He says there was an uproar last week when a school district in my neck of the woods approved an after-school Satan Club.
00:13:07.000 After proper chaos ensued, the school district did the right thing and reconsidered deciding they should not approve a club for children sponsored by the Satanic Temple after all.
00:13:15.000 American conservatives have been so shaped by libertarian arguments for absolute personal freedom, the point has come where they wonder whether Satanism is part of the tradition protected by the U.S.
00:13:22.000 Constitution.
00:13:23.000 Something must be done to take back this obvious ground.
00:13:27.000 And he points out that there's very little case law on the specific issue of whether Satanism is a protected religion.
00:13:32.000 What we do have is a little bit jumbled.
00:13:34.000 But the point is that since the Constitution does not define religion, the court then turns to case law for guidance.
00:13:39.000 But the early Supreme Court defined religion in traditionally theistic terms.
00:13:44.000 In other words, you know, believing in God.
00:13:46.000 Not an atheistic, anti-Christian, non-religion, pretending to be a religion for purposes of putting up a satanic display next to a nativity scene, which is the purpose of what the satanic temple is doing here.
00:13:56.000 That's exactly the purpose of what the satanic temple is doing here.
00:13:59.000 The founders never would have considered this an aspect of freedom of religion.
00:14:02.000 Not remotely.
00:14:04.000 In fact, it was only in 2019 that the IRS even declared that the satanic temple was a tax-exempt church.
00:14:10.000 That was under Donald Trump, by the way, a point that Ron DeSantis was making.
00:14:13.000 We'll get to more on this in just one second.
00:14:15.000 First, from maintaining control of your assets to easing the burden on your loved ones, an estate plan can ensure your family stays prepared and protected.
00:14:22.000 If you're looking for a way to set up your estate to offer financial benefits and more, you need to check out Trust & Will.

00:15:12.000 10% off free shipping at TrustAndWill.com slash Shapiro to get started.
00:15:18.000 Well, again, as Frank DeVito points out here, it's not merely that the Founders would never have considered a religion of Satanism to be protected by the First Amendment freedom of religion.
00:15:27.000 It's not just that.
00:15:28.000 It turns out that, as pointed out in an article at Harvard Law Review a few years back, the black letter rule in American law was clear.
00:15:35.000 Constitutional liberty entailed a right to articulate views on religion, but not even a right to commit blasphemy.
00:15:39.000 The offense of maliciously reviling God, which encompassed profane ridicule of Christ, Laws like this were compatible with the free exercise of religion.
00:15:48.000 They were completely upheld.
00:15:50.000 As this lawyer points out, throughout the nation's history, even into the 20th century, the federal courts have consistently upheld state anti-blasphemy laws as constitutional.
00:15:58.000 There is no binding precedent stating that anti-blasphemy laws even violate the First Amendment.
00:16:02.000 And this is where what you claim is a religion actually matters.
00:16:06.000 Because then, if you look at the Church of Satan website or the Wikipedia page, it's not just that they revile and ridicule Christ, they don't even believe, it's not a religion.
00:16:13.000 It's not, there's nothing there that says religion.
00:16:15.000 It is an anti-Christ political program that is masquerading as a religion.
00:16:20.000 Again, we've talked about it on the show before, when you look at the Satanic Temple website, they don't actually believe in Satan.
00:16:27.000 I mean, because that would be to believe in God.
00:16:30.000 In order to believe in Satan, presumably you have to believe in the supernatural.
00:16:33.000 They don't actually believe in any of that.
00:16:36.000 They say with unfortunate regularity, the Satanic Temple is confused with an earlier organization, the Church of Satan.
00:16:41.000 The Church of Satan expresses vehement opposition to the campaigns and activities of the Satanic Temple.
00:16:47.000 But what they actually say is that they don't actually believe.
00:16:51.000 Again, in Satan itself.
00:16:54.000 So here's what the Satanic Temple itself says in its pamphlet.
00:16:56.000 Quote, The Satanic Temple practices non-theistic Satanism.
00:17:00.000 We believe that religion can and should be divorced from superstition.
00:17:03.000 As such, we do not believe in either God or the devil as supernatural forces.
00:17:07.000 We bow to no gods or gods and celebrate our outsider status.
00:17:11.000 To embrace the name Satan is to embrace rational inquiry removed from supernaturalism and archaic tradition-based superstitions.
00:17:17.000 The Satanists should actively work to hone critical thinking and exercise reasonable inquiry in all things.
00:17:22.000 Our beliefs must be malleable to the best current scientific understandings of the material world, never the reverse.
00:17:28.000 So what exactly is Satan to the Satanic Temple?
00:17:30.000 Quote, Satan is symbolic of the eternal rebel in opposition to arbitrary authority,
00:17:33.000 forever defending personal sovereignty, even in the face of insurmountable odds.
00:17:36.000 Satan is an icon for the unbowed will of the relentless inquirer, the heretic,
00:17:41.000 who questions sacred laws and rejects all tyrannical impositions.
00:17:44.000 This metaphorical construct provides us with the framework by which we live.
00:17:47.000 He's a symbol of defiance.
00:17:49.000 Satanism does not suggest a supernatural solution to the trials of existence.
00:17:52.000 Rather, it serves as an affirmation of that which is demonstrably true.
00:17:56.000 Ours is the historical Satan of Western literary traditions expressed in texts like John Milton's Paradise Lost.
00:18:00.000 First of all, that's a complete misread of Paradise Lost.
00:18:03.000 That's a super giant misread of Paradise Lost.
00:18:05.000 John Milton does not like Satan.
00:18:08.000 You have to be a moron to believe this, but it doesn't matter.
00:18:10.000 The bottom line is, this is obviously not a church.
00:18:12.000 It's not a religion.
00:18:13.000 It's just a bunch of secularists who are like, oh, what if we just like slap a symbol on top of this thing and then we put it up next to the nativity scene so that we can laugh at Jesus?
00:18:21.000 That's what this is all about.
00:18:23.000 And again, it wasn't until 2019 when the Satanic Temple was actually designated a church by the IRS.
00:18:29.000 The group is now listed in an IRS database for tax-exempt organizations.
00:18:32.000 So, what exactly was this satanic statue beheading doing?
00:18:35.000 Well, I mean, obviously this wasn't like a historic piece of art.
00:18:38.000 This wasn't like the Taliban blowing up some giant Buddhist statue from a millennium ago.
00:18:44.000 It was like a statue they put together and then they put it in like the Iowa State Capitol in order to mock people.
00:18:49.000 So the guy knocked her down and now presumably he's going to be put on trial and I assume that he will appeal on the basis of this.
00:18:56.000 I assume he's going to appeal on the basis of this isn't actually a religion.
00:18:59.000 So you can say that I owe them damages for property damage or something and I'm willing to pay it and I can raise the money to pay for it.
00:19:04.000 But to pretend that this is actually a religious freedom display is to demean what it means to be religious.
00:19:10.000 Which is precisely the purpose of this thing.
00:19:12.000 It's to demean what it means.
00:19:13.000 Like they say, we want it up next to the nativity scene.
00:19:15.000 Why?
00:19:16.000 Why do they want it up next to the nativity scene?
00:19:18.000 So for example, Jews.
00:19:19.000 We do the Chanukah, right?
00:19:21.000 We have the menorah, the Chanukah menorah.
00:19:22.000 We've been displaying that since before Christianity was even around on planet Earth.
00:19:27.000 And we would be displaying that whether or not Christians were displaying a nativity scene.
00:19:30.000 It's not like we're like, oh my gosh, we need a Chanukah right up next to that.
00:19:33.000 I have never cared.
00:19:34.000 Whether my Chanukah is even in the remote proximity of a nativity scene.
00:19:38.000 But the entire point of the Satanic Temple is to put their thing right next to the nativity scene in order to mock Christianity.
00:19:44.000 That's what it's all about in the first place.
00:19:45.000 So hopefully this thing gets adjudicated.
00:19:47.000 I would love to see the Supreme Court actually take on a pretty thorny and interesting question as to whether it counts as a religion if you just create an anti-Christian thing and then call it a religion.
00:19:56.000 What exactly is Satanism?
00:19:58.000 Again, the entire thing is oriented against Christianity.
00:20:01.000 That's what it's oriented against.
00:20:02.000 And they make this very clear.
00:20:03.000 So Cosmopolitan, just like a month ago, put forth an Instagram post that is totally disgusting.
00:20:09.000 I mean, vile.
00:20:11.000 And it's a picture of a woman staring into a shard of glass that is a mirror.
00:20:18.000 And here's what Cosmopolitan says, is what's it like to have a satanic abortion?
00:20:21.000 For Jessica, a 37-year-old mother of three who received abortion medication via Samuel Alito's mom's satanic clinic.
00:20:28.000 Again, the whole purpose of satanism is to simply insult religious people and apparently Supreme Court justices.
00:20:33.000 The experience was just very supportive.
00:20:35.000 While she's not a satanist, Jessica decided to incorporate a few ceremonial elements into her solo abortion experience.
00:20:40.000 Why not, she thought.
00:20:42.000 The overall messaging just clicked with her.
00:20:43.000 Read more about it at the link in the bio.
00:20:45.000 So here's what it says, quote, Patients of all faiths are welcome at Samuel Alito's Mom's Satanic Abortion Clinic in New Mexico.
00:20:51.000 Along with medical counsel, TST offers free ceremonial support to everyone.
00:20:57.000 Abortion ceremonies are totally optional and customizable.
00:20:59.000 Here's a simple one TST recommends.
00:21:02.000 TST is the Satanic Temple, which is the same group that put up this satanic statue at the Iowa State Capitol.
00:21:09.000 So, this entire post, every single one of these posts from Instagram, has an inverted cross at the top.
00:21:15.000 It's a cross that's upside down.
00:21:16.000 And the entire purpose here is to mock Christianity.
00:21:18.000 The entire purpose.
00:21:20.000 That's not a religion, that's just mockery of Christianity.
00:21:23.000 Now you can say it's free speech, that is not freedom of religion, that is not the same thing.
00:21:26.000 Those are two different things.
00:21:28.000 Freedom of practice of religion would require that the state capitol include different religions in the state capitol according to current Supreme Court law.
00:21:36.000 But this is not a religion.
00:21:37.000 It is just mockery.
00:21:38.000 So, inverted cross.
00:21:39.000 It says, first, find a quiet space.
00:21:41.000 Bring a mirror if you can.
00:21:42.000 Just before taking the medication, gaze at your reflection and focus on your personhood.
00:21:46.000 Hone in on your intent.
00:21:48.000 Your responsibility to you.
00:21:50.000 First of all, you should hone in on things.
00:21:51.000 But second of all, your responsibility to you.
00:21:54.000 You are God.
00:21:54.000 You're a goddess in this scenario according to the satanic church.
00:21:58.000 Focus on your- not the personhood of the baby growing inside you who you're killing.
00:22:02.000 Focus on your own personhood, because you're the only person who matters.
00:22:05.000 Next slide, inverted cross.
00:22:06.000 Take a few deep, relaxing breaths.
00:22:08.000 When you're ready, read the following tenet aloud.
00:22:10.000 One's body is inviolable, subject to one's own will alone.
00:22:14.000 Take the medication, and immediately afterward recite, quote, beliefs should conform to one's best scientific understanding of the world.
00:22:20.000 One should take care never to distort scientific facts to fit one's beliefs.
00:22:24.000 Next slide, upside down cross again.
00:22:26.000 Later, once the procedure is complete, the euphemism, procedure is complete, return to your reflection.
00:22:32.000 Oh my god, the self-obsession here is totally wild.
00:22:35.000 But I guess this is what the religion of Satanism is all about, worship of selves.
00:22:38.000 That makes sense.
00:22:40.000 Focus again on your personhood, your power in making this decision.
00:22:43.000 Complete the ritual by reciting a personal affirmation.
00:22:46.000 And of course, this is a mockery of Catholic catechism.
00:22:50.000 By my body, my blood, by my will, it is done.
00:22:58.000 That is pretty... I mean, could it possibly be more mocking of Christianity?
00:23:05.000 I mean, that's obviously what it is.
00:23:07.000 They're just mocking the Eucharist, right?
00:23:09.000 Even I, but a humble ignorant Jew, understand that it's mockery of the Eucharist.
00:23:14.000 But that's precisely what it is.
00:23:15.000 This is not a religion, it's just mockery.
00:23:17.000 Quote, mirrors or mantras or not, CST's point is that your abortion should focus on your autonomy in making this decision.
00:23:23.000 Patients can include as many loved ones as they'd like, or light candles, or even dress up.
00:23:26.000 Whatever makes them feel empowered.
00:23:28.000 This is in Cosmopolitan Magazine.
00:23:30.000 Now, is this a church?
00:23:31.000 Is this even remotely resembling a church?
00:23:34.000 Of course not.
00:23:34.000 It has nothing to do with church.
00:23:36.000 Zero.
00:23:37.000 Zip.
00:23:38.000 Zilch.
00:23:38.000 Nada.
00:23:39.000 All it is is a bunch of secular left-wing anti-Christian propaganda crammed into a fake, phony religion.
00:23:47.000 And then you pretend it's a religion so you can stick your garbage statue up next to a nativity scene.
00:23:51.000 It's obvious that Christianity is a religion and Satanism is not.
00:23:54.000 And the Founding Fathers would have felt the same way.
00:23:57.000 And the fact that so many people have gone so libertarian that they've given up their brain space for this stuff is ridiculous.
00:24:03.000 Not all things that claim to be religions are, in fact, religions.
00:24:07.000 Not all behaviors are forms of speech.
00:24:10.000 There's a strong case to be made that burning a flag is not a form of speech.
00:24:13.000 If you want to say things, you can say them.
00:24:15.000 That's called speech.
00:24:16.000 Burning things is conduct.
00:24:18.000 But again, failures to make any of these distinctions, all of that has led to this kind of mushy libertarianism in which we're all supposed to pretend that immorality is somehow morality.
00:24:30.000 It's led to the conflation also between a legal right, as I said at the very beginning, and a moral right.
00:24:34.000 Those are not the same thing.
00:24:35.000 Not the same thing whatsoever.
00:24:37.000 Okay, in just one second, we'll get to the latest On Israel, where it turns out that terrorists, they really like killing people who are not actually just in Israel first.

00:25:48.000 Okay, so, meanwhile...
00:25:51.000 Germany has apparently uncovered an alleged Hamas terror plot in Europe.
00:25:54.000 Remember that time the Hamas said that they want to kill people like all over the world?
00:25:57.000 Yeah, it turns out that that's true.
00:25:58.000 It turns out that international terror organizations, they're really bad and they like killing people all over the world.
00:26:03.000 And they like to do so, number one, because their ideology demands that they spread the caliphate.
00:26:08.000 I mean, Hamas has been very clear about this.
00:26:10.000 They don't just wish to kill Jews, for example, inside Israel.
00:26:12.000 They wish to kill Jews outside of Israel as well.
00:26:15.000 Their end goal would be an Islamic caliphate.
00:26:18.000 No different than what ISIS would want.
00:26:19.000 Hamas does not just have territorial claims.
00:26:21.000 Their latest attempt to rewrite their charter for public-facing distribution is obviously a backfill.
00:26:28.000 They did this in about 2017.
00:26:29.000 And now, by the way, they're attempting, hilariously enough, to Push themselves into the Palestine Liberation Organization so as to quote-unquote moderate themselves by pretending that they are willing to accept the existence of the State of Israel, which of course they are not.
00:26:42.000 That is the reason why they slaughtered people in the Gaza envelope, which has been part of the State of Israel since inception.
00:26:47.000 In any case, they, yesterday, were uncovered.
00:26:50.000 Hamas Was that the first indication?
00:26:53.000 Really?
00:26:53.000 Because I noticed the Gaza conflict spilling over beyond the Middle East when hundreds of thousands of supporters of Hamas were marching in the streets of London.
00:26:59.000 That's when I noticed it first, actually.
00:27:00.000 The first suggestion, the Gaza conflict might be spilling over beyond the Middle East.
00:27:04.000 Was that the first indication?
00:27:05.000 Really?
00:27:06.000 Because I noticed the Gaza conflict spilling over beyond the Middle East when hundreds
00:27:09.000 of thousands of supporters of Hamas were marching in the streets of London.
00:27:12.000 That's when I noticed it first, actually, to be fair.
00:27:14.000 Germany's federal prosecutors said one of the men acting under orders from Hamas leaders
00:27:18.000 in Lebanon had in the spring begun searching for a cache of weapons the organization had
00:27:22.000 clandestinely assembled in the past.
00:27:24.000 The weapons were to be brought to Berlin until they could be used in a possible attack against Jewish institutions in Europe.
00:27:30.000 Security officials say the group has long been active in Europe, but so far, they say it's been mostly a logistical base and source of financing, rather than a possible terror target.
00:27:39.000 In October, a man identified as a Lebanese-born Abdel Hamid Al-Ayeh and two accomplices, An Egyptian national and a Dutch national began traveling from Berlin across the region to gather weapons, assisted by a third man identified as a Lebanese-born terrorist, according to the German prosecutor.
00:27:55.000 The four were long-standing Hamas members who had already participated in foreign operations for the group.
00:27:59.000 So I have a question.
00:27:59.000 Why weren't they in jail already?
00:28:00.000 Did they just get to wander around Europe, raising money for terror attacks, so long as there are Jews in Israel?
00:28:08.000 Pretty amazing stuff.
00:28:09.000 Meanwhile, apparently at least seven terror suspects have actually been arrested in Europe.
00:28:13.000 So you've got the four that were arrested by Germany, but Danish agencies also exposed Hamas infrastructure on European soil.
00:28:19.000 At least three people were arrested in Denmark and one in the Netherlands on suspicion of plotting to carry out an act of terror.
00:28:25.000 And that, of course, would not be a surprise.
00:28:27.000 The goal of these terror groups is to push the West to abandon its interests in the Middle East with terror attacks.
00:28:33.000 It's been true since the Iraq War.
00:28:35.000 It's been true before that.
00:28:36.000 It's been true, really, since the 1960s and 1970s.
00:28:40.000 Terrorists in the region use whatever levers of power they have in order to try to intimidate the West into going hands-off in this particular region of the world, despite the fact that the West has tremendously heavy economic interests in this particular region of the world, and also some moral interests in, you know, defending the only diverse democracy in the entire region.
00:28:58.000 Meanwhile, even as Hamas is pushing terror attacks abroad, the White House continues to send bizarre signals to the Israelis.
00:29:05.000 Let's be clear about this.
00:29:06.000 The Israelis are not going to stop until Hamas is completely defenestrated in the Gaza Strip.
00:29:10.000 It will end with Israel having to station 30,000, 40,000 troops in the Gaza Strip in perpetuity in order to police it.
00:29:16.000 That is what's going to happen.
00:29:17.000 And the reason that's going to happen is because Hamas is not just a terror group.
00:29:20.000 They have networks of terror sympathizers throughout the Gaza Strip.
00:29:24.000 Hamas currently enjoys a 57, 57, 52% approval rating in Gaza, which has been completely wrecked because of Hamas.
00:29:34.000 And in fact, the approval rating for Hamas in the West Bank, which is the place that's supposed to be governed by the Palestinian Authority, right?
00:29:41.000 The vaunted PA that the Biden White House wants to see in charge of the Gaza Strip.
00:29:45.000 No one likes the PA in the West Bank.
00:29:47.000 In fact, Palestinians in the West Bank are highly supportive of Hamas to the tune of 80 plus percent by every available poll.
00:29:54.000 So this notion that Israel is somehow going to acquiesce to a quote-unquote two-state solution with the very people who perpetrated October 7th and their sympathizers, that's insane.
00:30:03.000 What's even more insane is the idea that Israel is going to hurry up in order to slow down.
00:30:07.000 So Israel is currently hurrying up operations in an attempt to comply with White House diktats, which means more Israeli soldiers are getting killed.
00:30:14.000 The number of Israeli soldiers who are getting killed day on day is rising specifically because the White House is telling the Israelis to hurry up.
00:30:21.000 That's why Israel is having to rush its operations as opposed to going slower.
00:30:25.000 And meanwhile, the stuff they could be doing to minimize their own deaths, they have not been doing, because again, they don't want the bad headlines coming out of the Gaza Strip.
00:30:33.000 So instead, they are sending their own men and women into harm's way, going house by house and tunnel by tunnel, as opposed to using their complete air superiority in areas that already should have been clear of civilians two months ago.
00:30:45.000 Nonetheless, Jake Sullivan apparently told Israel that their war needs to, quote, transition to the next lower intensity phase in a matter of weeks, not months.
00:30:52.000 Well, I'm sure if he has a plan, Israel's willing to hear it.
00:30:54.000 If he's got a magic laser up in the sky, maybe he could lend it to the Jews.
00:30:59.000 This kind of stupidity about war, where you got Jake Sullivan dictating military timetables in the middle of an operation is totally crazy.
00:31:07.000 It's so stupid.
00:31:08.000 And by the way, it's dumb when American politicians do it to our own military.
00:31:12.000 We used to do it in Iraq and Afghanistan regularly.
00:31:13.000 We'd have Barack Obama sitting at the top of the American government doing things like, sure, we'll surge in Afghanistan, but then we have an arbitrary deadline by which we have to pull back the surge and we'll announce it at the time.
00:31:23.000 Meanwhile, the military officials are like, what the?
00:31:25.000 How's this gonna work?
00:31:26.000 It is truly incredible how many civilian officials seem to think that they can dictate magical timelines to a military that is on the ground fighting.
00:31:34.000 That's particularly true when you're talking about a military that is not under American control.
00:31:38.000 Israel has its own rather powerful military.
00:31:42.000 According to Axios, National Security Advisor Sullivan made clear in all meetings, the high intensity kinetic campaign needed to transition to the next lower intensity phase in a matter of weeks, not months.
00:31:52.000 This is not a deadline.
00:31:53.000 We understand the campaign must and will continue, but in a lower intensity.
00:31:56.000 In other words, what they want is less spectacular headlines about how many people are dying.
00:32:00.000 That's what they want.
00:32:01.000 Let's be absolutely clear here.
00:32:02.000 Israel is going to kill as many terrorists and people who are members of that terror network as they need to in order to ensure their future.
00:32:08.000 Period.
00:32:09.000 End of story.
00:32:09.000 Israel has no interest in killing civilians.
00:32:12.000 They are not interested in doing that.
00:32:14.000 Hamas is hiding behind... In fact, not only is Hamas hiding behind civilians, just to show what Hamas is, Hamas apparently is literally taking dolls, like baby dolls, and they are connecting them to tape recorders with recorded cries of children and then connecting those to IEDs.
00:32:28.000 So when Israeli soldiers go to try and save the doll, they blow up.
00:32:32.000 This is something that Hamas is doing literally right now.
00:32:36.000 Kirby says it has to take as long.
00:32:37.000 Meanwhile, John Kirby, over at the National Security Advisory, he said that Sullivan asked hard questions about what the next phase is going to look like.
00:32:45.000 And he said it has to take as long as they feel it needs in order to eliminate this threat.
00:32:49.000 We all want this to be over as soon as possible.
00:32:51.000 The last thing we want to do is telegraph to Hamas what they're going to face in the next weeks and months.
00:32:54.000 Well, that is a, again, Kirby has been way better on this than Jake Sullivan and Obama holdover with tremendously stupid ideas about how the Middle East actually works.
00:33:03.000 Meanwhile, Israel is going to have to move up north.
00:33:05.000 Everybody knows they're going to have to move up north.
00:33:08.000 They're going to have to take on Hezbollah in the north because Hezbollah again has 200,000 rockets pointed not only at the north of Israel but all over Israel.
00:33:15.000 Israel has already moved 30,000 citizens off the border.
00:33:17.000 They've been out of their homes for full-on two months at this point.
00:33:21.000 What is truly amazing is to see the propagandists at work against Israel with regard to the so-called two-state solution.
00:33:28.000 So let's be clear about this.
00:33:29.000 I mean, it's truly amazing.
00:33:30.000 There are people who very often, I think, do fine on cable TV, do a decent job on cable TV.
00:33:34.000 And they'll say things like, I wish Israel would end the blockade and occupation of Gaza.
00:33:38.000 Israel ended the occupation of Gaza in 2005.
00:33:40.000 The only reason they left a blockade in place is because Hamas took over.
00:33:45.000 And if they had not had a blockade, Hamas would have been shipping in nothing but weaponry from Turkey.
00:33:51.000 Israel tried the whole two-state solution thing by basically handing over the Gaza Strip to a terror group and they got October 7th and rocket attacks every five minutes.
00:33:59.000 There are people in Israel who have to live underground for like weeks at a time because of the rocket attacks.
00:34:04.000 Meanwhile, in the West Bank, Israel tried for 30 years to hand over the West Bank to the Palestinian Authority.
00:34:11.000 They had peace deals that were rejected in 94, 2000, 2001, 2008.
00:34:12.000 In 94, 2000, 2001, 2008, all of those peace deals walked away from by the Palestinian Authority.
00:34:21.000 And meanwhile, you have people who keep mouthing these platitudes about the two-state solution.
00:34:24.000 With whom?
00:34:26.000 With whom?
00:34:27.000 So yesterday, the Israeli ambassador to the UK, Tzipi Hotavli, she was asked by a reporter about the two-state solution.
00:34:33.000 She's like, no.
00:34:34.000 By the way, approval for a quote-unquote two-state solution now among Israelis, 7%.
00:34:38.000 Why do you think that is?
00:34:40.000 Why do you think that is?
00:34:41.000 Israelis have been desperately attempting to hand control over Palestinian-Arab areas to Palestinian-Arab leadership for decades at this point, and no one will take them.
00:34:50.000 No one.
00:34:50.000 The Jordanians won't take them.
00:34:52.000 The Egyptians won't take them.
00:34:53.000 Palestinian leadership won't take them because they would prefer to continue to promote the idea that they are going to destroy Tel Aviv and take it.
00:34:59.000 So who exactly?
00:35:01.000 I'm consistently amazed by the idea that the media know what the F they're talking about.
00:35:05.000 They don't.
00:35:06.000 They say things like two-state solution as though it's self-manifesting.
00:35:08.000 Like if you say it enough times, Beetlejuice appears.
00:35:11.000 If you just say two-state solution often enough, a moderate Arab leader, Anwar al-Sadat, appears and magically makes peace.
00:35:18.000 Or, alternatively, the Palestinians are extremely pro-terror by every available poll.
00:35:23.000 The networks of terror run incredibly deep.
00:35:25.000 The educational system in both the West Bank and the Gaza Strip promotes the murder of Jews and does since the time that Palestinian youngsters are incredibly young.
00:35:34.000 But if you say two-state solution, apparently, this makes you magically Immune from criticism?
00:35:39.000 And it makes you a moral person.
00:35:40.000 And if you say no two-state solution because it's absolutely irrelevant and stupid to talk about a two-state solution when one of the parties to the quote-unquote solution does not exist, then of course you're bad.
00:35:50.000 This is the ridiculous game you see being played by the media.
00:35:53.000 So yesterday on Sky News, here was the Israeli ambassador to the UK.
00:35:58.000 Is there still a chance for a two-state solution?
00:36:00.000 I think it's about time for the world to realise the Oslo paradigm failed on the 7th of October and we need to build a new one.
00:36:07.000 And in order to build a new one... But does that new one include the Palestinians living in a state of their own?
00:36:14.000 Is that what it includes?
00:36:15.000 I think the biggest question is what type of Palestinians are on the other side.
00:36:19.000 This is what Israel realised on the 7th of October.
00:36:21.000 The answer is absolutely no and I'll tell you why.
00:36:23.000 Well then how can there be peace?
00:36:26.000 The reason there is no peace is because the Palestinians... Without offering a state to Palestine, how can there be peace in Israel?
00:36:34.000 Israel knows today and the world should know now.
00:36:37.000 The reason the Oslo Accords failed is because the Palestinians never wanted to have a state next to Israel.
00:36:42.000 They want to have a state from the river to the sea.
00:36:43.000 So the two-state solution is dead?
00:36:46.000 Why are you obsessed with a formula that never worked that created this radical people in the other side?
00:36:52.000 Why are you obsessed with that?
00:36:53.000 Think about it.
00:36:54.000 Is that normal to carry on with a solution that never worked in the past?
00:36:58.000 The Palestinians kept on denying and now it will create another terror state.
00:37:02.000 Israel is not interested in that.
00:37:03.000 Of course she's correct, of course she's correct.
00:37:04.000 By the way, Jordan was in control of the West Bank from 1948 to 1967, and not once did they discuss the possibility of an independent Palestinian state in the West Bank.
00:37:12.000 Egypt was in control of the Gaza Strip from 1948 to 1967.
00:37:16.000 At no point did they discuss the possibility of an independent Palestinian state.
00:37:20.000 Why?
00:37:20.000 Why is it there was no call for the Arabs to do it?
00:37:22.000 Why?
00:37:23.000 And the answer is because everyone knew it would be a terror state immediately.
00:37:26.000 Everyone knew this.
00:37:28.000 Where else in the world, honest to God, where else in the world is there an open actual call for the creation of a state everyone knows will be a terror state?
00:37:34.000 It's totally insane.
00:37:36.000 It's totally insane.
00:37:37.000 October 7th happens.
00:37:39.000 1,200 Jews are slaughtered.
00:37:40.000 Another 240 are taken prisoner, captive into the Gaza Strip.
00:37:43.000 And the world is like, what sort of concessions can you offer?
00:37:46.000 What the?
00:37:47.000 This is like, honest to God, it's like saying after 9-11 to the United States, shouldn't you help set up an Al-Qaeda state in Afghanistan?
00:37:53.000 I mean, after all, they have some grievances.
00:37:54.000 Shouldn't you help set up an Al-Qaeda state?
00:37:56.000 Not just a Taliban state, an Al-Qaeda state!
00:37:58.000 Like, specifically for those people!
00:38:00.000 Shouldn't you do that?
00:38:01.000 What sort of concessions can you offer them?
00:38:03.000 Only Israel has demanded this sort of nonsense.
00:38:05.000 The two-state solution was idiocy from the time it was initiated by Oslo.
00:38:09.000 It was stupidity.
00:38:10.000 It was put forth by people like Shimon Peres, who was completely delusional about the way the world actually works.
00:38:15.000 He was actually a believer at the time that borders would disappear in the Middle East.
00:38:18.000 He was a believer in the idea that there would be a giant confederation of Jews and Arabs in the Middle East that would be completely peaceful because economics would overtake everything else.
00:38:28.000 Yeah, that worked.
00:38:29.000 That was great.
00:38:31.000 Again, mouthing delusional notion about how the world works does not manifest the delusional notions.
00:38:37.000 It just gets people killed.
00:38:39.000 That's what Israel found out between Oslo and October 7th.
00:38:41.000 And now they're done with that.
00:38:42.000 And they should be done with that.
00:38:43.000 And people continue to say dumb crap like two-state solution without any leadership on the other.
00:38:48.000 Israel would give the West Bank to Jordan today.
00:38:52.000 And then it would be up to Jordan to create a Palestinian state.
00:38:54.000 You think Jordan would do it?
00:38:55.000 Jordan won't even take it.
00:38:57.000 Jordan won't take it.
00:38:58.000 Israel has offered the Gaza Strip to the Egyptians over and over.
00:39:01.000 The Egyptians will not take it.
00:39:03.000 Now just think about that for a second.
00:39:04.000 Think about how crazy that is.
00:39:05.000 The Egyptians could take it and then they could set up a Palestinian state.
00:39:08.000 They don't want it because they would not allow a Palestinian state to be set up there.
00:39:12.000 They would be presumably engaging in exactly the same activities that Israel is engaging in right now.
00:39:17.000 In fact, there's a reason why Egypt won't allow anybody from the Gaza Strip through their border.
00:39:21.000 It's not because they want the historic land claims of the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip to be maintained.
00:39:26.000 Israel doesn't even care whether Palestinians live there.
00:39:28.000 There's no actual Jewish claim to the Gaza Strip in any serious measure.
00:39:32.000 Go back to biblical times, the Gaza Strip was never considered a part of biblical Israel, even.
00:39:36.000 There's never been a massive settling movement, for example, in the Gaza Strip.
00:39:39.000 There were some in the north of the Gaza Strip, and that was about it.
00:39:44.000 Like Gush Katif, that's it.
00:39:45.000 The Gush Katif region, there were some people living there, but it was never as though the Gaza Strip
00:39:50.000 was ever considered like this very fundamental part of the biblical land of Israel.
00:39:54.000 Okay, but the bottom line is Israel evacuated it.
00:39:57.000 Hey, if Egypt, if Israel handed it over to Egypt and Egypt wanted to create a Palestinian state,
00:40:03.000 Nothing.
00:40:04.000 The reason the Egyptians won't let the Palestinians into the Sinai Desert is not because they are deeply worried about Palestinian rights in Jabalia.
00:40:12.000 It's because they are worried about Palestinian people who are radicalized inside their own borders.
00:40:16.000 They don't want them.
00:40:18.000 In just one second, we'll get to the latest from campus, where again, anti-Semitism continues to be a major issue.

00:42:06.000 Our guest, Tim Kennedy, distinguished Green Beret sniper, UFC headliner.
00:42:09.000 In this episode, we'll not only honor Tim's military achievements, also confront some hard truths he's encountered in war zones and at our southern border.
00:42:16.000 Here's a little bit of what it looks like.
00:42:19.000 I have a journal here that every time I traveled overseas, um, I would write what was happening and what I felt.
00:42:28.000 I said, I find this sad, pathetic, but ironic.
00:42:32.000 Not only a few nights ago, did we track down and kill a man as he ran home trying to avoid us, maybe to survive, maybe just to live another day.
00:42:41.000 And there his wife and his children saw him die.
00:42:44.000 Are our actions justified?
00:42:46.000 How many More terrorists have I just created.
00:42:49.000 I killed their dad.
00:42:51.000 I just made a family of terrorists, didn't I?
00:42:53.000 I don't know.
00:42:54.000 How is this going to turn out?
00:42:55.000 Did I just make the wagon wheel roll just one more time?
00:42:58.000 On our very first mission, we shot this man running back into his home.
00:43:03.000 I don't know what to do.
00:43:04.000 I don't know if this is right.
00:43:05.000 I don't know where morality is in war.

00:43:19.000 Remember, the episode drops this weekend.
00:43:20.000 You're not going to want to miss it.
00:43:21.000 Meanwhile, over at Harvard University, things continue to be very, very rough.
00:43:25.000 So, Claudine Gay, the president of Harvard, she's the one, you'll remember, who actually went in front of Congress and said that it depends on context whether calling for genocide of Jews is violative of Harvard policy.
00:43:35.000 Well, she actually attended a menorah lighting in an attempt to cover for her own idiocy and anti-Semitic fellow traveling.
00:43:44.000 This menorah lighting was supposed to be a great moment for showing solidarity with the Jewish community.
00:43:48.000 Now, I know Harvard really well.
00:43:50.000 I know everybody at Harvard really well.
00:43:51.000 I went to Harvard Law between 2004 and 2007.
00:43:53.000 One of the people I know pretty well over there is Rabbi Hershey Zarchi.
00:43:56.000 He is the Chabad Rabbi over at Harvard.
00:44:00.000 I've known Rabbi Zarchi for, as I say, nigh on 20 years at this point.
00:44:05.000 Rabbi Zarchi is not a particularly political actor, like, at all.
00:44:08.000 He tries to stay strenuously apolitical.
00:44:11.000 That's what Chabad, by the way, tends to do, wherever they are, because Chabad's entire goal is simply to bring Jews into more religious practice.
00:44:18.000 Which is why you'll be walking around a city street and you'll see, like, a Chabad rabbi with a pair of tefillin, right, with phylacteries, offering to Jews to help them wrap tefillin.
00:44:25.000 Like, that's what they do.
00:44:26.000 But, Hershey Tzarchi here, Right in front of Claudine Gay, he says the thing.
00:44:31.000 He points out that at Harvard, when they put up their giant menorah, and again, that's what Chabad does pretty much everywhere.
00:44:37.000 You can go to literally any Chabad in America and they have a giant menorah out in the front yard.
00:44:40.000 When Harvard Chabad does this, well, they have to take it down every night.
00:44:45.000 And they have to take it down every night because they're afraid the anti-Semites will rip it down.
00:44:50.000 You know what happens to the menorah?
00:44:52.000 After everyone leaves the yard, We're gonna pack it up.
00:44:56.000 We have to hide it somewhere.
00:44:58.000 The university, since the first Hanukkah, would not allow us to keep this menorah here overnight.
00:45:04.000 Because there's fear that it'll be vandalized.
00:45:08.000 That's the reality of the Jewish community at Harvard today.
00:45:11.000 We have to pack up our menorah when we're done.
00:45:15.000 Students have to remove anything.
00:45:16.000 Some students feel they have to remove anything about their physical appearance that suggests that they're a target.
00:45:22.000 We have work to do, friends, and we're delighted to have President Gay with us.
00:45:28.000 But it's my hope, and I know I speak for everyone here, that we can work together with you and your dedication to be, as we saw recently in the email, you were referred to as our president.
00:45:44.000 We in the Jewish community are longing for a day that we could refer to the president and all of Harvard as ours, too.
00:45:51.000 Harvard indeed not only has our back, and not only allows us to finally put up a menorah, but doesn't force us to hide it at night.
00:46:01.000 By the way, this is a problem all over the United States, not just on campuses.
00:46:04.000 Apparently, according to Breitbart, a menorah set up for Hanukkah at Oakland's Lake Merritt in the heart of the city was vandalized early on Wednesday, leading to condemnation by local officials.
00:46:12.000 Oakland Mayor Sheng Tao, who had participated in the menorah lighting ceremony at the site just days before, issued a statement blasting the desecration and act of vandalism, which appeared to be a blatant act of anti-Semitism.
00:46:22.000 Graffiti at the site read, your org is dying.
00:46:23.000 We're going to find you.
00:46:24.000 You're on effing alert, a-hole.
00:46:26.000 Parts of the menorah were thrown into the lake.
00:46:30.000 Again, they were strewn on the sidewalk near 12th Street and Lake Merritt Boulevard.
00:46:33.000 And this, of course, follows hard on the news that a teen was arrested and charged with planning a mass shooting at an Ohio synagogue recently.
00:46:40.000 According to local NBC affiliate 3 News, They obtained the documents from a Stark County Court official.
00:46:45.000 It showed the teen has been charged with two misdemeanors, including inducing panic and disorderly conduct.
00:46:50.000 Apparently, this person did create a detailed plan to complete a mass shooting at the Temple Israel on the Discord platform, which was reported to law enforcement and required an immediate investigatory response and notification of public officials.
00:47:01.000 This particular antisemitic incident predates the October 7th attacks by Hamas, but these are the conditions under which a lot of Jews across the country are living.
00:47:10.000 There's a reason why Jewish gun ownership is going up wildly, and it should.
00:47:14.000 Every law-abiding citizen who knows how to defend him or herself should own a gun, and this is the reason why.
00:47:19.000 Okay, in just one second, we'll get to the latest On Joe Biden and Hunter Biden, the polls continue to be very bad for the President of the United States first.
00:47:27.000 The Ben Shapiro Show is supported by Grand Canyon University, an affordable private Christian university with a vibrant campus in beautiful Phoenix, Arizona.

00:48:06.000 Meanwhile, the polls are showing that Joe Biden continues to trail in every single battleground.
00:48:11.000 According to Mediaite, a new round of polling in seven key swing states bodes poorly for President Biden, indicating he trails Donald Trump in every single one.
00:48:17.000 In Wisconsin, he is down 4.
00:48:19.000 To Trump, 45-41.
00:48:20.000 In Georgia, he's down 6.
00:48:21.000 In Michigan, he's down 4.
00:48:22.000 In Pennsylvania, he's down 2.
00:48:24.000 In Nevada, he's down 3.
00:48:25.000 In North Carolina, he is down 9.
00:48:28.000 These are terrible numbers for Joe Biden.
00:48:30.000 In Arizona, he is down 4.
00:48:32.000 Very, very bad numbers for Joe Biden, because again, all of the focus right now is on Joe Biden.
00:48:36.000 Now, the Biden administration is hoping that the Federal Reserve is going to save Joe Biden.
00:48:41.000 That by bringing down the inflation rate, they're going to be able to basically bring down the interest rates several times next year, loosening up the economy and leading to a feeling of prosperity in the United States.
00:48:51.000 Corinne Jean-Pierre, she was out yesterday saying that Bidenomics is working because the stock market is at record highs.
00:48:58.000 Look, as it relates to bionomics, the President, I just announced at the top of the briefing, he's going to go to Milwaukee.
00:49:02.000 He's going to talk about bionomics, investing in America, what bionomics has done for the American people coming out of the pandemic.
00:49:09.000 We can't forget what happened when the President walked in.
00:49:12.000 We saw a, literally, the economy at a tailspin.
00:49:16.000 And the data shows, as you just mentioned in your question, Inflation is moderating.
00:49:21.000 You see jobs created at more than 14 million jobs.
00:49:24.000 Unemployment is at under 4%.
00:49:26.000 All of those things is part of Bidenomics, and you will certainly hear the President talk more about that.
00:49:32.000 Well, the president can talk about it however much he wants.
00:49:35.000 The bottom line is that consumers right now are still spending because, again, they have that inflated money in their pocket and they realize that the inflation is cooked into the books.
00:49:43.000 It takes a little while for people to realize that inflation has actually moderated, especially when inflation is still running at three plus percent, as opposed to two percent, which was the Fed's target rate.
00:49:54.000 The real problem here is that when you look at things like the stock market, corporate earnings are not actually keeping up with the stock market.
00:50:00.000 Right now, people are invested in the stock market at very high rates because the currency is inflated.
00:50:04.000 When the currency is inflated, you stop investing in bonds and you start investing in stocks.
00:50:07.000 Well now, it appears that the bond prices are going up because we're not going to be raising interest rates anytime in the near future.
00:50:14.000 So bond prices are going up.
00:50:15.000 This has also created a feeling of economic health in the stock market, people pouring money into the stock market.
00:50:19.000 The problem is, in the stock market, the P.E.
00:50:22.000 ratios are really, really high.
00:50:24.000 Those would be the price-earnings ratios.
00:50:27.000 Those price-earnings ratios are really, really high.
00:50:29.000 So Benjamin Graham, the famed investor, who is sort of the intellectual godfather of Warren Buffett, he sought price-earnings ratios around 15 times.
00:50:37.000 that the price of the company should be a multiple of its earnings by about 15,
00:50:42.000 but no higher than that. Well, right now, the so-called Magnificent Seven,
00:50:45.000 which are the companies that are basically driving all of the growth in the stock market
00:50:50.000 or a huge percentage of the growth in the stock market, these would be companies like Nvidia,
00:50:56.000 Apple, Amazon, Alphabet, Meta, Microsoft, Tesla.
00:51:01.000 Those companies are up around 70% year-to-date.
00:51:04.000 If you took them out of the S&P 500, the index would be up around 6%, as opposed to the eye-popping gains that you are seeing in the broader stock market indices.
00:51:12.000 The S&P 500 is up more than 21% so far this year.
00:51:15.000 If you took out those seven companies, it's up 6%.
00:51:19.000 And the P.E.
00:51:20.000 ratios on those companies is 50.
00:51:21.000 5-0.
00:51:24.000 That's not sustainable in the long run.
00:51:26.000 PE ratios of 50?
00:51:27.000 That is betting very heavily those companies are going to be able to ramp up their earnings obviously.
00:51:31.000 If they're not able to ramp up those earnings then the pricing mechanism is way out of whack.
00:51:35.000 So the suggestion would be, theoretically, that when the inflation stops, That the stock market will continue.
00:51:43.000 It'll hold stable.
00:51:44.000 The money will be worth more.
00:51:45.000 People will essentially hold stable their stocks.
00:51:48.000 They're not going to divest because why would you take your money out of a stock market that's done pretty well?
00:51:51.000 But stocks are overpriced.
00:51:52.000 This is the reason why Warren Buffett is selling stocks right now.
00:51:56.000 And again, inflation has not totally been conquered, but the real problem here is going to be economic stagnation.
00:52:01.000 I've been talking about gross output as a statistic for quite a while here.
00:52:03.000 Gross output doesn't just measure spending at the last layer of the economy, which includes an enormous amount of government spending.
00:52:09.000 It includes business startup investment.
00:52:11.000 And that's down.
00:52:12.000 The first couple quarters of 2023, it's been down 9%.
00:52:14.000 Gross output.
00:52:18.000 We haven't seen a Q3 stat yet on that.
00:52:21.000 I can't imagine it's gonna be very strong.
00:52:23.000 Business starts, I mean, if you are in business, you feel it also right now.
00:52:26.000 If you're in business, this is not a boom time.
00:52:28.000 Nobody really thinks this is a boom time outside of a few core companies.
00:52:31.000 Meanwhile, as Joe Biden continues to fade in the polls, the really bad news for the Biden administration
00:52:38.000 is that Kamala Harris is still the backup.
00:52:40.000 There she was spewing word salad yesterday.
00:52:42.000 We all watched the television coverage of just yesterday.
00:52:49.000 That's on top of everything.
00:52:51.000 Did she speak English?
00:52:52.000 I do not know.
00:52:52.000 know yet based on what we've just been able to see and because we've seen it or
00:52:56.000 not doesn't mean it hasn't happened but just limited to what we have seen.
00:53:02.000 I don't even know what that means. I did she speak English?
00:53:07.000 I do not know. So but the president doesn't speak English because he's no longer
00:53:10.000 functional.
00:53:11.000 Vice president doesn't speak English because I was she ever fun-
00:53:14.000 I don't even know.
00:53:15.000 I don't even know what's going on with Kamala Harris.
00:53:17.000 Oh boy.
00:53:18.000 All righty.
00:53:18.000 Coming up, we'll jump into the continued questions over whether a deal will be reached on Ukraine, Israel, Taiwan, and border funding.
