00:50:59.000 the killing of the unborn. As a part of his agenda, he and his allies would limit access

00:51:07.000 to birth control, ban medication abortion, and enact a nationwide abortion ban with or without

00:51:16.000 Congress.

00:51:18.000 And get this!

00:51:19.000 First of all, that's a lie.

00:51:20.000 He hasn't said anything remotely like that.

00:51:21.000 He plans to create a national anti-abortion coordinator.

00:51:28.000 And force states to report on women's miscarriages and abortions.

00:51:36.000 Simply put, they are out of their minds.

00:51:41.000 Simply put, they're out of their minds.

00:51:43.000 I, meanwhile, hold this baby in my hand.

00:52:05.000 So, the Democrats scrupulously, for four days, avoided saying the word Israel.

00:52:11.000 And that did happen a little bit.

00:52:12.000 She mentioned Israel, and there were boos in the convention hall from the pro-Hamas crowd.

00:52:16.000 So, here's what she did, and this was actually clever.

00:52:19.000 I will give her speechwriter's credit for this.

00:52:20.000 She said many of the things that pro-Israel people want to hear, and then she turned around and said all the things that pro-Hamasniks want to hear.

00:52:28.000 It's everything to everyone at the same time!

00:52:30.000 Now, the way that you square that circle is you look at her actual policies.

00:52:33.000 The actual policies of the Biden administration pressured the Israelis at every point necessary At every point, just keep the pressure on.

00:52:41.000 Deprive them of weapons.

00:52:43.000 Have secret backroom meetings with the mayor of Dearborn, Michigan, a full-scale pro-Khamasnik.

00:52:49.000 And so there's what she said on the stage, and then there's what she did.

00:52:52.000 But having it always to all people is apparently the agenda.

00:52:55.000 So what she says about Israel is great, it's fine.

00:52:57.000 And then she turns around, and what she says about the Palestinians is not great and not fine.

00:53:01.000 But it's all in the same breath, because that's who Kamala Harris is.

00:53:04.000 Everything to everyone at all times.

00:53:06.000 We're not supposed to actually ask questions about what this means in practice.

00:53:10.000 And let me be clear, I will always stand up for Israel's right to defend itself, and I will always ensure Israel has the ability to defend itself, because the people of Israel must never again face the horror that a terrorist organization called Hamas caused on October 7.

00:53:39.000 That was fine.

00:53:40.000 Here we go.

00:53:40.000 sexual violence, and the massacre of young people at a music festival.

00:53:46.000 At the same time, because that was one side.

00:53:50.000 What has happened in Gaza over the past 10 months is devastating.

00:53:59.000 You see how uncomfortable she is right now.

00:54:01.000 Desperate, hungry people fleeing for safety over and over again.

00:54:07.000 The scale of suffering is heartbreaking.

00:54:12.000 President Biden and I are working to end this war such that Israel is secure, the hostages are released, the suffering in Gaza ends, and the Palestinian people can realize their right to dignity, security, freedom, and self-determination.

00:54:33.000 Why everyone's gonna get everything they've always asked for.

00:54:36.000 There are a few obstacles in the way of this particular policy, namely that the Palestinians tried self-determination in 2005 and they elected Hamas.

00:54:43.000 If the Palestinians self-determined today, they would elect Hamas in the West Bank.

00:54:47.000 We're supposed to ignore all of those niceties, of course, in favor of the sort of moral equivalence that Hamas did terrible things to Israel and now terrible things are happening in the Gaza Strip.

00:54:56.000 What you should have said is, as a result of Hamas's activities, She wasn't going to say that, of course, because she's got to have the baby.

00:55:02.000 Which, again, is Democratic policy at this point.

00:55:05.000 So her closer was, America's extraordinary, it's amazing, it's patriotic, it's wonderful.

00:55:10.000 And again, I take this with a large grain of salt from the same lady who was saying just a few years ago that America's a systemically racist place in which black people can't get ahead because of the latent white supremacy in all America's institutions.

00:55:21.000 That seems a little at odds with her current messaging.

00:55:24.000 But again, those are the rules.

00:55:25.000 When Democrats are winning, America's awesome.

00:55:28.000 When Democrats are losing, it's a white supremacist hellhole.

00:56:50.000 It doesn't take weeks for it to sort of seep into the public imagination.

00:56:54.000 So the minute Biden was out and the knives were in his back and she had taken his spot, Everyone swung behind her.

00:57:01.000 By the end of the week, the polling was what the polling was, and it had basically solidified in place.

00:57:05.000 Nothing has really changed for the past several weeks, actually, in the national polling.

00:57:09.000 In fact, if you look at the national polling over the course of the last several weeks, Kamala Harris was up approximately two points on August 8th.

00:57:18.000 And today, August 22nd, she's up approximately three points.

00:57:22.000 Things haven't changed all that much.

00:57:25.000 In fact, even if you go back to when she first jumped in, she had like a slight one and a half point lead

00:57:32.000 on Trump nationally.

00:57:33.000 That'd be like the end of July, beginning of August.

00:57:36.000 And today it's like two and a half points.

00:57:39.000 So not much is changing right now.

00:57:41.000 And the polls have basically been stable for the last several weeks.

00:57:44.000 So do I think that this is going to radically change the game that they had, you know, sort of this,

00:57:48.000 this Oscars of leftism as Douglas Murray is putting it.

00:57:51.000 I don't really think it's going to change much.

00:57:52.000 I have a question.

00:57:53.000 she might have to answer some questions about her policy.

00:57:55.000 The Wall Street Journal says, the vice president's economic advisors are scrambling to

00:57:58.000 assemble a policy agenda on the fly.

00:58:00.000 I have a question. Why? Why?

00:58:03.000 If you ask my policy agenda, literally any day for the last 20 years I could have given it to you.

00:58:13.000 So it's a lie that she doesn't know what her policies are.

00:58:22.000 Every new policy proposal she puts forward gives political ammunition to her opponent, former president Donald Trump.

00:58:28.000 The Republican nominee has been attacking Harris for not being specific enough in her plans.

00:58:34.000 Donald Trump, he hasn't been specific on his plans either.

00:58:37.000 But we know exactly how he's going to govern.

00:58:40.000 Because he was already president.

00:58:41.000 So we know what that's going to look like.

00:58:43.000 Kamala Harris has not been specific on her plans.

00:58:45.000 And we also know precisely how she would govern, because she's the current vice president.

00:58:49.000 The difference is, she's lying and says she has no connection to any of that.

00:58:54.000 It's as if Donald Trump were running again and said, remember that first term?

00:59:13.000 There's some speculation of what exactly, the New York Times calling this political pragmatism, the dishonesty.

00:59:22.000 Who exactly is going to be in her administration?

00:59:26.000 So the Wall Street Journal has put together an early list of names that have emerged in conversation with senior Democrats in Chicago and Washington.

00:59:33.000 So there has been talk about Marty Walsh, former labor secretary, as chief of staff, or Eric Holder, Yeah.

00:59:44.000 Harris's economic policy brain trust includes Mike Pyle, a former Harris aide, Brian Deese, former economic council director, and Gene Sperling, former Biden economic advisor.
