00:00:00.000 So I was off for Passover for a couple of days and apparently the world is now ending.
00:00:05.000 President Trump declared a ceasefire. 1.00
00:00:07.000 The Iranians won. 1.00
00:00:08.000 We're all going to be speaking Persian. 1.00
00:00:10.000 The IRGC is going to be presiding over the entire Middle East. 0.99
00:00:13.000 They won.
00:00:14.000 Or, or alternatively, President Trump is doing something smart and people are deliberately misunderstanding that thing.
00:00:21.000 Because here is the thing.
00:00:23.000 President Trump's ceasefire is a win-win.
00:00:26.000 Either it's going to work or it's not going to work.
00:00:29.000 And either way, America will end up Winning because President Trump is going to solidify his legacy as the greatest foreign policy president in modern American history.
00:00:38.000 Nothing less will suffice.
00:00:39.000 It's the reason he's doing it.
00:00:41.000 It's the reason he's doing it.
00:00:43.000 President Trump also knows the increasingly unhinged members of podcasts to stand.
00:00:48.000 Did you see how hard he smacked them on Truth Social?
00:00:50.000 We'll get to that in a bit.
00:00:51.000 Tucker Carlson and his advocacy for a weak America and a strong Russia and China and Iran. 0.84
00:00:57.000 And Candace Owens and her bizarre Nazi Nouveau rhetoric.
00:01:00.000 And Alex Jones and his constant conspiracy laden low IQ crap. 0.83
00:01:04.000 And Megyn Kelly and her click chasing abandonment of all principle.
00:01:08.000 They aren't just wrong, they're undermining what it would mean for America to actually be great again.
00:01:13.000 This is The Ben Shapiro Show.
00:01:22.000 America has to be strong.
00:01:23.000 That's been President Trump's message the entire time he's been running for office.
00:01:26.000 And it will be strong.
00:01:27.000 It was Trump's message in 2016.
00:01:29.000 It was his message in 2020.
00:01:31.000 It was his message in 2024.
00:01:33.000 It is his message today.
00:01:35.000 And that's what his legacy will have to be if he's to have any legacy at all.
00:01:39.000 A stronger America, period.
00:01:41.000 That's what Americans want.
00:01:44.000 A revitalized vision of America as the global leader, the strongest power on earth, which means two things.
00:01:50.000 One, America as the free leader of the world.
00:01:54.000 Robust free speech, a strong social fabric, a booming economy filled with innovation.
00:01:59.000 And second, the leader of the free world, a dominant military power capable of deterring threats and ensuring freedom of trade and American security and the security of our allies across the planet.
00:02:10.000 That's the vision.
00:02:11.000 That's what America ought to look like.
00:02:13.000 This is what conservatives have always thought.
00:02:16.000 That's what we think today.
00:02:18.000 That's what President Trump's enemies on the right now oppose.
00:02:22.000 They want a weaker America.
00:02:24.000 They're posing as America first.
00:02:26.000 What they actually are is America toast.
00:02:29.000 And they say it openly.
00:02:30.000 They say all the time things like they want America to retreat from the world.
00:02:34.000 We're already too weak.
00:02:35.000 We're bloated and we're falling apart. 1.00
00:02:36.000 And that the best American future actually looks like France declining, pathetic, amoral, addicted to welfare programs, importing mass labor from third world countries thanks to a ridiculously flabby welfare state, a social fabric that is no longer workable. 0.98
00:02:53.000 These are the people who seem to think that the best global future looks like a future where China and Russia run two thirds of the planet. 0.99
00:03:00.000 I mean, that's the only reason you end up running propaganda for all the worst regimes on the planet while proclaiming the Baghdad Bob, like Baghdad Bob, that America is losing, or playing a fresh version of Jane Fonda standing with the Viet Cong.
00:03:14.000 Again, this isn't about people asking honest questions about what President Trump is doing. 0.75
00:03:18.000 There are all sorts of questions that can be asked about what President Trump is doing, and all those questions deserve answers.
00:03:23.000 It is about people who are actively rooting for America to lose and openly say so, and openly, openly say so.
00:03:29.000 Okay, so let's start with this.
00:03:31.000 Iran has been deeply wounded.
00:03:34.000 Over the course of the last several weeks, Iran has been brought low.
00:03:38.000 This notion that Iran is bestriding the Middle East like a colossus because they have the capacity to fire some drones at shipping in the Strait of Hormuz is asinine.
00:03:46.000 It's asinine. 1.00
00:03:47.000 Doesn't mean it's not a problem.
00:03:48.000 It is a problem. 0.97
00:03:50.000 But this bizarre notion that Iran somehow is the big victor here is crazy towns.
00:03:56.000 It's crazy towns and it's propagandistic nonsense.
00:03:59.000 Let's start with how much damage we've actually done to Iran at this point.
00:04:02.000 Here is the CENTCOM commander.
00:04:04.000 Brad Cooper giving an update yesterday.
00:04:07.000 Hi, I'm Admiral Brad Cooper, commander of U.S. Central Command.
00:04:10.000 Less than six weeks ago, more than 50,000 of America's sons and daughters in uniform launched Operation Epic Fury and embarked on a mission of profound consequence.
00:04:21.000 We set out to dismantle the Iranian regime's ability to project power beyond its own borders, and we clearly accomplished this task. 0.87
00:04:30.000 Iran has suffered a generational military defeat. 0.87
00:04:33.000 The United States and Israel systematically destroyed Iran's ability to conduct Large scale military operations for years to come. 1.00
00:04:43.000 And that, of course, is right. 0.97
00:04:44.000 General Dan Razen Kane described the extent of the Iranian defeat yesterday.
00:04:50.000 Since the beginning of major combat operations, the United States Joint Force has struck more than 13,000 targets, including in that 13,000, more than 4,000 dynamic targets that popped up on the battlefield and were immediately addressed, thanks to the exceptional command and control system and intelligence acumen and agility of our Joint Force.
00:05:12.000 CENTCOM forces destroyed approximately 80% of Iran's air defense systems.
00:05:17.000 Striking more than 1,500 air defense targets, more than 450 ballistic missile storage facilities, 800 one way attack drones for storage facilities.
00:05:28.000 All of these systems are gone. 0.83
00:05:29.000 We've devastated Iran's command and control and logistical networks, destroying more than 2,000 command and control nodes and degrading their ability to target U.S. and friendly forces.
00:05:44.000 So you may recall that I've been saying for weeks that no matter how the war ended, Iran had been significantly crippled.
00:05:50.000 Like truly crippled, truly hurt. 1.00
00:05:53.000 Okay, that's been my going theory for a while here because it happens to be the truth. 0.99
00:05:58.000 And all this talk about how Iran barely surviving, which is what is going on right now, basically, them having to exert pressure on the Strait of Hormuz, that is not, by the way, a sign of Iranian strength. 0.99
00:06:08.000 That's a sign of Iranian weakness. 0.78
00:06:10.000 They could have done this crap any time over the past 20 years. 0.91
00:06:13.000 The reason they didn't do it is because they understood it was basically the last gasp of a dying regime.
00:06:18.000 The reason that you try to seize global trading and alienate all the Gulf allies, and by the way, also China, which receives oil, From the Strait of Hormuz is because you are weak, not because you are strong.
00:06:29.000 It is a last gasp attempt to grab some sort of leverage. 0.85
00:06:33.000 That is what that is.
00:06:34.000 Okay, so this raises the question of President Trump's ceasefire.
00:06:38.000 So, as you recall, it was right before Passover for me, the last couple of days of Passover, and literally right before Passover it came in, the president announced a ceasefire.
00:06:46.000 So he put out a statement on Truth Social where he said, based on conversations with Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asin Munir of Pakistan, And we're in.
00:06:55.000 They requested that I hold off the destruction force being sent tonight to Iran and subject to the Islamic Republic of Iran agreeing to the complete, immediate, and safe opening of the Strait of Hormuz.
00:07:04.000 I agreed to suspend the bombing and attack of Iran for a period of two weeks. 0.67
00:07:08.000 This will be a double sided ceasefire. 0.54
00:07:10.000 The reason for doing so is that we have already met and exceeded our military objectives and are very far along with a definitive agreement concerning long form peace with Iran and peace in the Middle East.
00:07:19.000 We received a 10 point proposal from Iran and believe it is a workable basis on which to negotiate.
00:07:23.000 Almost all of the various points of past contention have been agreed to between the United States and Iran.
00:07:27.000 But a two week period will allow the agreement to be finalized and consummated.
00:07:31.000 On behalf of the United States of America, as President, and also representing the countries of the Middle East, it is an honor to have this long form problem close to resolution.
00:07:38.000 Thank you for your attention to this matter.
00:07:40.000 Okay, so.
00:07:42.000 Let's say that that were all true and that what the president had been assured by his negotiator, who it appears was the vice president, JD Vance, on this particular matter.
00:07:50.000 So you'll have to take it up with him if the president got the wrong story.
00:07:54.000 If what the president says is true, Iran had agreed to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and outstanding issues, which of course include nuclear development, were basically being negotiated.
00:08:04.000 In just a moment, we'll get to Iran's response to the declared ceasefire first.
00:08:08.000 Here's the thing.
00:08:09.000 If you own a business, you probably have no idea how many brokers it actually takes to insure it.
00:08:12.000 That is a huge problem.
00:08:14.000 You have policies scattered everywhere, applications that keep asking for the same information, no real picture of how it all fits together when something goes wrong.
00:08:21.000 We have a sponsor called SuperSure.
00:08:23.000 It is built to blow all of that up.
00:08:25.000 It is one brokerage for your business coverage with a licensed super agent and account team that actually works your account year round, not just at renewal.
00:08:33.000 Instead of wondering who to call, you have one place, one team, one platform to keep your policies organized in a single insurance vault.
00:08:40.000 We run a business over here.
00:08:41.000 Insurance is really difficult.
00:08:43.000 You've got 25 brokers.
00:08:44.000 You have no clue what's in your policies.
00:08:45.000 You basically don't even know your coverage.
00:08:48.000 Super Sure solves all of that for you.
00:08:50.000 If you ever stared at a policy and thought to yourself, I speak English, this is not English.
00:08:53.000 Super Sure's fine print facts tool translates the legalese into plain language so you can finally see where you're covered and what you have and what you don't and what is not covered.
00:09:02.000 Right now, head on over to super sure.com.
00:09:04.000 Get a full report on your current policies with no obligation.
00:09:07.000 Find out if you're overinsured, underinsured, somewhere in between.
00:09:09.000 Go to super sure.comslash Shapiro.
00:09:12.000 One super agency, one powerful platform, all your policies in one place.
00:09:16.000 Head on over to super sure.comslash Shapiro.
00:09:18.000 That's super sure.com slash Shapiro paid for by Super Shure Insurance Agency LLC, a licensed insurance agency. 0.97
00:09:26.000 So the Iranians put out their own statement.
00:09:28.000 This was the Foreign Minister Abbas Araki.
00:09:32.000 He said, On behalf of the Islamic Republic of Iran, I express gratitude and appreciation for my dear brothers in Pakistan.
00:09:39.000 In response to the brotherly request of Prime Minister Sharif in his tweet, and considering the request by the United States for negotiation based on its 15 point proposal, as well as announcements by the president about acceptance.
00:09:52.000 Of the general framework of Iran's 10 point proposal as a basis for negotiation, I hereby declare on behalf of Iran's Supreme National Security Council if attacks against Iran are halted, our powerful armed forces will cease their defensive operations.
00:10:06.000 And the propaganda from these people, my goodness.
00:10:08.000 For a period of two weeks, safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz will be possible via coordination with Iran's armed forces and with the consideration of technical limitations.
00:10:15.000 Okay, so what you read from him is basically confirmation of what Trump said.
00:10:20.000 Okay, right, that the Strait of Hormuz is going to open and also.
00:10:24.000 That they were considering the 15 point proposal the United States had put forward.
00:10:28.000 Now, you have to understand, the original 10 point proposal put forward by Iran is total trash. 0.97
00:10:33.000 It was never going anywhere. 0.74
00:10:34.000 It included America abandoning all bases in the Middle East.
00:10:37.000 It included the United States paying reparations for the damage in the war.
00:10:41.000 It included full scale nuclear development by Iran and full scale ballistic missile development by Iran.
00:10:46.000 So it wasn't a basis for negotiation. 0.96
00:10:48.000 It was a dream list, it was a secret diary list from the Iranians. 0.99
00:10:52.000 Trump was never going to say okay to that. 1.00
00:10:54.000 So, the reaction of the markets is precisely what you think that it would be.
00:10:58.000 The price of a barrel of Brent crude had spiked into the 115 range prior to the president's announcement of the ceasefire, and then it dived below 100 again immediately upon the announcement of the ceasefire.
00:11:12.000 That's WTI crude oil, actually.
00:11:14.000 Brent crude plunged as well.
00:11:17.000 None of this being a gigantic shock.
00:11:20.000 Wednesday morning, the president put forward another statement on Truth Social where he said, the United States will work closely with Iran, which we have determined has gone through what will be a very productive regime change.
00:11:29.000 Again, it is totally unclear who he's talking to at this point.
00:11:31.000 I mean, it is regime change in the sense that the same people aren't talking to you, but if they are the same people's deputies who are saying the same things, it's not full regime change.
00:11:40.000 So he says, there will be no enrichment of uranium.
00:11:42.000 Again, that's the red line.
00:11:43.000 The United States will, working with Iran, dig up and remove all of the deeply buried nuclear dust.
00:11:48.000 It is now and has been under very exacting satellite surveillance.
00:11:51.000 Nothing has been touched from the date of attack.
00:11:53.000 We are and will be talking tariff and sanctions relief with Iran.
00:11:56.000 Many of the 15 points have already been agreed to.
00:11:58.000 Thank you for your attention to this matter.
00:11:59.000 Okay, so if, again, the president received from Iran an actual deal in which the nuclear program goes bye bye and the Strait of Hormuz is reopened, that is the end of the conflict.
00:12:13.000 That's been the president's case for a long time here. 0.78
00:12:16.000 Okay, because we have degraded their ballistic missile facilities, we have killed all the heads of the IRGC, we killed the Ayatollah.
00:12:22.000 His son, Mashtaba Khamenei, is missing a leg and is in a coma.
00:12:27.000 Because their Air Force is gone, their Navy is gone, their military has been heavily bombarded.
00:12:32.000 Okay, so that's why you end up with the ceasefire.
00:12:36.000 So, when I say that this is a win win, here is what I mean.
00:12:40.000 There are a few good reasons why you do the ceasefire.
00:12:42.000 First of all, you show goodwill that if the Strait were to reopen and Iran were to negotiate an end to its nuclear program, that would be the end of the war, which is what Trump has said literally from the beginning. 0.69
00:12:54.000 This is why it's hilarious.
00:12:55.000 All these people saying, well, his goal is regime change.
00:12:57.000 He never said it was regime change.
00:12:59.000 In fact, he overtly kept saying it wasn't regime change.
00:13:02.000 It was regime change behavior, that the behavior should change.
00:13:07.000 So either they're going to prove it or they're not going to prove it.
00:13:10.000 And that's why it's a two week ceasefire and not just an end to the war, because you still have to negotiate whether that is true or not.
00:13:17.000 Also, this is a signal to China.
00:13:19.000 Okay, that's the second reason to do a ceasefire like this.
00:13:22.000 Let's be clear about this negotiation. 0.79
00:13:23.000 Pakistan is a cutout for China. 0.60
00:13:25.000 Pakistan is basically a Chinese proxy at this point, period.
00:13:30.000 China was begging the United States to stop here because China has been deprived of some 37% of the oil that is coming through the Strait of Hormuz.
00:13:39.000 They are the largest single recipient of all oil from the Strait of Hormuz.
00:13:43.000 33% of all of their oil imports come directly from the Strait of Hormuz.
00:13:47.000 Iran is choking that off.
00:13:50.000 China's not getting its oil right now, which harms China significantly more than it harms the United States.
00:13:54.000 So the United States, as a goodwill gesture to China, is offering Iran a path out.
00:14:01.000 Now, if Iran doesn't show the goodwill to take it, what is China going to do? 0.85
00:14:04.000 Is China going to be super happy with the Iranians for continuing to choke off the Strait of Hormuz as their only methodology for attaining power? 0.72
00:14:12.000 Because again, they don't have a fully functional nuclear program. 0.82
00:14:15.000 It seems as though the Iranian government is trying to turn itself into a hermit state like North Korea. 0.76
00:14:20.000 Basically, they're saying, okay, we have no economy.
00:14:23.000 Okay, our country's trashed, but we will hang on to power by exerting leverage. 0.90
00:14:27.000 They don't have a nuclear weapon the way that North Korea does. 0.86
00:14:30.000 That's the thing we've been trying to stop. 0.93
00:14:32.000 Because if they got a nuclear weapon, not only would they hand it off to their terror proxies, they would also threaten everybody with it. 0.71
00:14:38.000 Right now, they're using the Strait of Hormuz to threaten everybody. 0.77
00:14:41.000 The reason they won't give up control of the Strait is because they have no leverage if they give up control of the Strait.
00:14:47.000 Again, this could all be over tomorrow if they give up their nukes and control of the Strait.
00:14:50.000 The question is whether they're going to do that.
00:14:52.000 Trump is offering them an off ramp to do that.
00:14:54.000 Maybe they'll take it.
00:14:55.000 All likelihood they won't.
00:14:57.000 Also, by the way, this does allow for military replenishment.
00:15:00.000 We've been flying continuous sorties for a month, so it's not a terrible time to do maintenance.
00:15:04.000 And repair and some planning for whatever the next step is going to be, if in fact the negotiations go sideways.
00:15:10.000 So, the people who are all over Trump here, who believe that he's just going to give up the ghost, that he's going to leave without achieving some status change in Iran's nuclear approach, or that the control of the Straits is going to be left completely to the behest of the Iranians, it beggars imagination.
00:15:27.000 It doesn't make any sense because it cuts directly against the purpose of President Trump doing this, which is a stronger America.
00:15:35.000 There would be knock on effects if.
00:15:37.000 If Iran were able to just maintain complete control over the strait and no deal took place and the U.S. just walked away, yes, they would be greatly weakened, but it would send some pretty bad messages. 0.52
00:15:46.000 Like, for example, that any country could talk the United States into abandoning core national interests over shutting down serious trade routes.
00:15:55.000 China might take notice of that, for example, because the Taiwan Strait, which, you know, like it's called the Taiwan Strait because it passes right by Taiwan, it carries 20% of all global maritime trade.
00:16:07.000 It carries something like 90% of the world's largest ships by tonnage.
00:16:10.000 So, if China takes away the lesson that shutting off a trade corridor is leverage against the United States sufficient to deter us from our core national interests, that's a problem.
00:16:19.000 It would also mean, because China's way stronger than Iran, that any country with a few drones and ballistic missiles and some geographic proximity to a choke point could wave off the most powerful force on planet Earth. 0.62
00:16:32.000 And it would be very bad for President Trump's legacy, because again, two years from now, three years from now, Iran could theoretically rebuild and then claim real victory over President Trump. 0.96
00:16:41.000 Unless, again, unless the reality here is that either way this goes, no matter what happens here, the Iranian government has already been hit so hard that they are going to fall apart anyway, which, by the way, is certainly possible. 0.81
00:16:56.000 They are a wounded animal that's had one leg removed, not unlike the new Ayatollah Khomeini. 0.93
00:17:01.000 They are crawling away into the woods.
00:17:03.000 They may survive.
00:17:04.000 The question is, for how long?
00:17:06.000 Because they are still bleeding, because their infrastructure no longer exists in the same way, because all of their ballistic missile facilities have been destroyed, because their steel mills have been destroyed, because Their gas fields in South Pars were hit because their chemical factories were hit because everything was hit.
00:17:24.000 So that's where things currently stand.
00:17:26.000 This is why people who are saying, oh, catastrophe, end of the world.
00:17:29.000 No, not exactly.
00:17:31.000 Hey, now, is the ceasefire actually going to last?
00:17:33.000 The reason that Iran is in serious trouble here is because either way this goes, they got a problem.
00:17:39.000 The reason Iran is hesitant to give up control over the Strait of Hormuz now is because this is now their only leverage point.
00:17:45.000 What they realized in this war, they thought they had three possible leverage points here. 0.79
00:17:49.000 One, their terrorist proxies.
00:17:51.000 They could activate their terrorist proxies and it would drive everybody off the ball.
00:17:54.000 Two, that they could directly fire at energy facilities in Saudi and UAE and Bahrain, and all of those countries would pressure the United States into stopping.
00:18:04.000 And three, the Strait of Hormuz. 0.63
00:18:05.000 Those were their three real capacities to harm. 0.84
00:18:10.000 The globe and their enemies.
00:18:12.000 Two of those have been completely wiped off the map. 0.78
00:18:14.000 Their terrorist proxies are not going to deter anybody, and their strikes on Kuwait, Bahrain, UAE, Saudi have driven the Gulf states, our Gulf allies, into alliance with Israel, not into weakness vis a vis Iran. 0.51
00:18:28.000 So that left them with one choke point and one choke point only, and that's the Strait of Hormuz. 0.81
00:18:31.000 If they give that up, then basically they become a hermit state without even a nuclear weapon.
00:18:36.000 And then they are unbelievably vulnerable internally. 0.71
00:18:39.000 And don't pay attention to all the reporting suggesting that there is nothing roiling under the surface in Iran.
00:18:44.000 Again, there were millions of people in the streets before this war.
00:18:47.000 What do you think is going to happen when all of this is over?
00:18:49.000 You think everybody's just going to go back to sleep?
00:18:52.000 When the IRGC is in the weakest position it has likely ever been?
00:18:56.000 When the Iranian army, the Artesh, and the IRGC are not exactly on the same page? 0.66
00:19:02.000 The IRGC, by the way, again, they're doing things that a last gasp regime does right now.
00:19:07.000 They're declaring dead people their leaders.
00:19:10.000 Moshtaba Khomeini is not the actual leader of Iran.
00:19:14.000 Moshtaba Khomeini is in a coma.
00:19:16.000 And they declared him the leader, and they are tweeting under his name right now.
00:19:19.000 Again, none of this is the mark of a powerful regime.
00:19:23.000 All of this is a mark of a regime that is on its last leg.
00:19:25.000 Not last legs, last leg. 0.67
00:19:28.000 In just a moment, we're about to get to Iran trying to back out of a deal that it kind of made. 0.67
00:19:32.000 Did it make?
00:19:33.000 We'll get into all of it first.
00:19:34.000 You spend roughly a third of your life sleeping, meaning on your mattress.
00:19:37.000 That is a gigantic chunk of your existence where your body is either recovering or falling apart.
00:19:42.000 And if you are sleeping on a saggy, generic mattress, well, you're not doing well.
00:19:46.000 Helix will build a mattress for you.
00:19:48.000 You take a quick sleep quiz.
00:19:50.000 It matches you to one of their many models based on how you sleep, your body type, whether your spouse thrashes around at night.
00:19:55.000 They deliver it right to your door free in the U.S. in a box you can actually move.
00:19:58.000 Plus, you get a 120 night sleep trial so you can actually try it out at night.
00:20:02.000 And instead of just laying on it once in a mattress store, buying it and now you can never return it or anything like that.
00:20:07.000 We have a Helix sleep mattress.
00:20:08.000 We have four years.
00:20:09.000 It's firm but breathable.
00:20:11.000 We took that quiz and it told us what we needed.
00:20:12.000 Helix also offers a limited lifetime warranty backed by their Happy with Helix guarantee so you can rest easy knowing your nights are covered.
00:20:19.000 This is also one of the most awarded mattress brands out there.
00:20:21.000 It's reviewed by outlets like Forbes and Wired.
00:20:23.000 So, you know it's top of the line.
00:20:24.000 Head on over to helixleap.comslash Ben for 20% off site wide.
00:20:27.000 That's helixleap.comslash Ben for 20% off site wide.
00:20:31.000 Make sure you enter our show name after checkout so they know we sent you helixleap.comslash Ben.
00:20:35.000 Okay, so Iran immediately started backtracking on the ceasefire deal. 0.69
00:20:41.000 So, what they're trying to do now is manipulate public opinion. 0.90
00:20:44.000 Again, this has been sort of the reason why President Trump is pissed off at Podcastistan is because they're buying into every piece of regime propaganda from the Iranians they possibly can, and they have been for weeks. 0.92
00:20:56.000 They've been buying into Russian propaganda and Iranian propaganda, and they've been mirroring all of it. 0.76
00:21:00.000 And this is why they say dumb things like the president was leveraged into this by the Israelis. 0.52
00:21:04.000 The Israelis are yanking the chain.
00:21:06.000 If the Israelis were yanking the chains, do you think the ceasefire would have happened in the first place?
00:21:10.000 The Israelis are not particularly happy with the ceasefire.
00:21:14.000 The president declared that because he wanted to declare it.
00:21:17.000 In the same way, the president declared the war in Gaza over because he wanted to declare the war in Gaza over. 0.73
00:21:22.000 The president is the one holding the end of every chain.
00:21:25.000 That is the way it works in geopolitics when you run the world's most powerful military.
00:21:30.000 So, Iran decided to basically run an op as to why they were not going to reopen the strait.
00:21:35.000 Again, the problem for Iran is if they reopen the strait, then they're going to have to concede.
00:21:39.000 If they concede, then they are very weak. 0.72
00:21:41.000 And if they're very weak, they might fall.
00:21:43.000 So, they continue to grip that strait.
00:21:46.000 The same way that Bill Clinton grips an intern's butt.
00:21:50.000 I mean, like that, that is, they must control the strait.
00:21:53.000 It is the only way.
00:21:54.000 So they're looking for an excuse and a way to blame Israel for continuing to maintain control of the strait.
00:21:59.000 So what they did is they decided they were going to blame Israel, of course, for maintaining control of the strait. 0.72
00:22:05.000 So let's start with this Hezbollah is an Iranian proxy.
00:22:09.000 Hezbollah has launched 6,400 rockets against Israel over the course of the last month.
00:22:14.000 Hezbollah has been greatly damaged since 2024.
00:22:18.000 That is when the Israelis did the famous Beeper operation, Operation Grim Beeper, where they took out a bunch of Hezbollah people and then they did an invasion of southern Lebanon and they cleared a lot of that territory. 0.89
00:22:29.000 Well, since then, Hezbollah has been attempting to reconstitute. 0.56
00:22:32.000 And so Hezbollah started firing in solidarity with Iran because they are an Iranian proxy terror group.
00:22:38.000 They started firing rockets over the border into northern Israel by the thousands.
00:22:42.000 By the thousands. 0.91
00:22:43.000 And so Israel decided they'd had enough and they walked over the border and they bombed the living hell out of southern Lebanon and they moved all the population. 0.85
00:22:51.000 That is not Christian, by the way, up past the Latani River, which is about 100 kilometers into the country. 0.65
00:22:57.000 And then, because Hezbollah had increased its launches, Israel decided that it was going to just end Hezbollah entirely. 0.76
00:23:07.000 They decided that they were going to just bomb the living hell out of them over the course of Wednesday and Thursday.
00:23:12.000 There are also rumors that Hezbollah was going to attempt some sort of action against the very weak Lebanese government to try and create another pressure point for Iran on behalf of Iran.
00:23:22.000 So Israel goes in, they hit the Iranian terrorist group Hezbollah extremely hard.
00:23:27.000 So Iran immediately claims that the ceasefire was violated, which is weird because nothing in the ceasefire had to do with Israel and Lebanon, which is quite far away.
00:23:34.000 It turns out that Lebanon is a separate country from Iran. 0.60
00:23:37.000 And if the idea is that any ceasefire, With Iran means that Israel can no longer defend itself against terrorist groups. 0.57
00:23:44.000 That is not a ceasefire that Israel would have ever agreed to or that the United States ever should agree to because that's stupid. 0.72
00:23:50.000 It would mean that by grabbing the Strait of Hormuz, Iran could create the basis for terror attacks all across the region. 0.75
00:23:57.000 By the way, not just on Israel. 0.76
00:23:59.000 Over the course of the ceasefire, Saudi's pipeline, they had a major pipeline that was actually hit.
00:24:06.000 That Saudi pipeline.
00:24:09.000 Now, originally, they thought that it was hit by the Iranians.
00:24:12.000 It turns out it was hit by an Iranian proxy group in Iraq.
00:24:14.000 Okay, same difference. 0.53
00:24:15.000 So, what Iran is doing is they're now attempting to reflex that terrorist muscle, right?
00:24:19.000 Remember, I said three points of leverage terrorist groups, direct attacks on America's allies and energy resources in the region, and Strait of Hormuz. 0.57
00:24:28.000 So, they already lost two, right? 0.64
00:24:29.000 It didn't actually drive the Gulf allies into weakness with the Iranians.
00:24:33.000 And the terror groups, their proxy terror groups, are very weak.
00:24:36.000 They're trying to reconstitute that now.
00:24:38.000 They're trying to rebuild something.
00:24:39.000 Okay, so Iran immediately claimed that there's a violation of the ceasefire in some way.
00:24:46.000 They put out A message on Wednesday afternoon suggesting that there was a noncompliance with the first clause of the 10 point proposal regarding the ceasefire in Lebanon.
00:24:56.000 Okay, and the United States immediately came out and they were like, no, actually, that is not how any of this works.
00:25:05.000 We never agreed, the United States never agreed that Iran got to basically activate terror groups across the region without any consequence because there's a ceasefire over the Strait of Hormuz.
00:25:14.000 Here's Caroline Levitt at the White House denying this.
00:25:18.000 The Iranians originally put forward a 10 point plan that was fundamentally unserious, unacceptable, and completely discarded.
00:25:25.000 It was literally thrown in the garbage by President Trump and his negotiating team.
00:25:31.000 Many outlets in this room have falsely reported on that plan as being acceptable to the United States, and that is false. 0.51
00:25:38.000 With the President's deadline fast approaching and the United States military completely decimating Iran with each passing hour, the regime acknowledged reality to the negotiating team.
00:25:48.000 They put forward a more reasonable and entirely different plan. 0.50
00:25:51.000 And condensed plan to the president and his team.
00:25:54.000 President Trump and the team determined the new modified plan was a workable basis on which to negotiate and to align it with our own 15 point proposal.
00:26:04.000 The president's red lines, namely the end of Iranian enrichment in Iran, have not changed.
00:26:11.000 And the idea that President Trump would ever accept an Iranian wish list as a deal is completely absurd. 0.67
00:26:20.000 Now, again, this is the op that Iran is running.
00:26:22.000 They're trying to say that there was an agreement and the Israelis violated the agreement.
00:26:25.000 And Trump's team is saying that was never part of the agreement.
00:26:28.000 You're just lying now, which, by the way, is the Iranian way in negotiation under the revolutionary regime.
00:26:33.000 This is what they do.
00:26:34.000 They lie in negotiations.
00:26:35.000 It's why the JCPOA was an idiotic idea.
00:26:38.000 There is no agreement they make that is worth the paper upon which it is printed.
00:26:42.000 The president put out his own statement on Truth Social saying this.
00:26:44.000 Numerous agreements, lists, and letters are being sent out by people that have absolutely nothing to do with the USA Iran negotiation.
00:26:50.000 In many cases, they are total fraudsters, charlatans, and worse.
00:26:53.000 They will be rapidly exposed after our federal investigation is completed.
00:26:56.000 There's only one group of meaningful points that are acceptable to the United States, and we will be discussing them behind closed doors during these negotiations.
00:27:03.000 These are the points that are the basis on which we agreed to a ceasefire.
00:27:06.000 It is something that is reasonable and can be easily dispensed with.
00:27:09.000 It's very much like fake news CNN last night headlining a source that had no power or authority to write a letter claiming great authority, President Trump.
00:27:15.000 Okay, so he is saying that the Iranians are putting out a 10 point plan that is not the 10 point plan that was the basis for negotiations.
00:27:22.000 Now, JD Vance.
00:27:24.000 Who, again, we will find out about his negotiating acumen, I suppose, throughout this process.
00:27:28.000 He's been put in the loop with regards to this negotiation.
00:27:31.000 He was apparently on the cutting edge of negotiating this ceasefire.
00:27:35.000 And he says that the people on the fringes of the Iranian system are trying to create propaganda here about this supposed 10 point plan that would basically have the United States surrendering.
00:27:45.000 What's happening on the ground in Iran is that you have clearly the position of the government, which is to negotiate with the United States of America.
00:27:52.000 You have the position of the President of the United States, which is to send the negotiators to Pakistan.
00:27:56.000 And engage in this good faith negotiation.
00:27:59.000 And then, yes, you have some crazy people at the fringes of the Iranian system who are leaking anonymously, either for propaganda purposes or because they're embarrassed or because they don't like what happened. 0.52
00:28:12.000 Okay, so again, he is saying the same thing that Trump is saying, same thing that Caroline Levitt is saying, same thing the Israelis are saying, which is that this never included Lebanon.
00:28:19.000 It didn't suggest that they get to keep their nukes or their ballistic missiles or anything like that.
00:28:24.000 Vance continued, again, this is on Wednesday. 0.81
00:28:27.000 Saying the United States has the leverage here, which of course is true.
00:28:29.000 It turns out you have the leverage when you have the world's most powerful military.
00:28:34.000 The President of the United States has made very clear that the United States has a lot of leverage here.
00:28:39.000 We have economic leverage, we've got military leverage.
00:28:41.000 What he's trying to do is make sure the American people are safe and strike a deal that's good for the American people.
00:28:49.000 And Ban said that the ceasefire never included Lebanon.
00:28:53.000 I think this comes from a legitimate misunderstanding.
00:28:56.000 I think the Iranians thought that the ceasefire included Lebanon, and it just didn't.
00:29:01.000 We never made that promise.
00:29:03.000 We never indicated that was going to be the case.
00:29:05.000 What we said is that the ceasefire would be focused on Iran, and the ceasefire would be focused on America's allies, both Israel and the Gulf Arab states.
00:29:14.000 Okay, so first of all, I should point out there's no such thing as a legitimate misunderstanding here.
00:29:20.000 Every ceasefire to include regional domination, and the United States does not, it'll be interesting to see whether that gap is bridged in any way.
00:29:28.000 It's not a legitimate misunderstanding.
00:29:29.000 That is the entire gap in negotiations.
00:29:31.000 Does Iran, are they willing to give up control of the Strait of Hormuz? 0.52
00:29:35.000 And are they willing to get rid of their nuclear program? 0.91
00:29:37.000 That's the whole thing.
00:29:38.000 If the answer is no, then this thing is not over yet. 0.79
00:29:40.000 And if the answer is yes, it's over for now, but it may also be over for the Iranian regime, and they know it.
00:29:46.000 By the way, we should note the Iranians had said that while Israel is still going after Lebanon, there would be no negotiations.
00:29:52.000 As of this morning, the negotiations are still happening.
00:29:55.000 So it turns out that they, in fact, do not have all the leverage.
00:29:58.000 We'll get to Caroline Levitt spelling out what's going on in just one moment first.
00:30:01.000 Mother's Day is right around the corner.

00:30:47.000 Meanwhile, at the White House, Caroline Lovett says that our red lines have not moved.
00:30:51.000 No uranium enrichment.
00:30:53.000 That is the red line.
00:30:55.000 Has Iran given the administration any indication that it would simply turn over the enriched uranium, or is this an expectation the president has that he would have to send in ground troops in order to do that?
00:31:08.000 This is on the top of the priority list for the president and his negotiating team as they head into this next round of discussions.
00:31:14.000 And as I said in my opener, that is a red line that the president is not going to back away from, and he's committed to ensuring that takes place.
00:31:22.000 We hope it will be through diplomacy.
00:31:24.000 Have they given any indication that they would turn it over?
00:31:26.000 They have.
00:31:27.000 They are on.
00:31:28.000 Yes.
00:31:30.000 President Trump put out a statement on Wednesday night, again reiterating this.
00:31:30.000 Okay.
00:31:33.000 I don't know how many times he has to say, quote, all U.S. ships, aircraft, and military personnel with additional ammunition, weaponry, and anything else that is appropriate and necessary for the lethal prosecution and destruction of an already substantially degraded enemy will remain in place and around Iran until such time as the real agreement reached is fully complied with.
00:31:51.000 If for any reason it is not, which is highly unlikely, then the shooting starts bigger and better and stronger than anyone has ever seen before. 0.72
00:31:57.000 It was agreed a long time ago, and despite all the fake rhetoric to the contrary, No nuclear weapons, and the Strait of Hormuz will be open and safe.
00:32:03.000 Again, same conditions over and over and over.
00:32:05.000 This notion that Trump has just abandoned his conditions here, based on what?
00:32:11.000 Based on what?
00:32:12.000 Again, the purpose here is to negotiate some sort of end state.
00:32:15.000 Maybe Iran is, it's possible they're lying publicly.
00:32:18.000 It's possible that they're lying to Trump.
00:32:20.000 It is possible that nothing gets done, or it's possible that eventually they give up the ghost here because they don't have a lot of choices.
00:32:27.000 Iran, for its part, keeps insisting that Lebanon is part of the ceasefire.
00:32:30.000 Clearly it is not, since they are still negotiating.
00:32:32.000 Mohammed Khalibaf.
00:32:34.000 Who apparently is on the do not kill list for the United States and Israel because I guess this is the guy they're negotiating with?
00:32:39.000 He said Lebanon and the entire resistance access as Iran's allies form an inseparable part of the ceasefire.
00:32:44.000 So apparently, Khalibab is claiming that in exchange for reopening the Strait of Hormuz, Iran should have complete regional domination via its axis of terror.
00:32:54.000 That is a non starter.
00:32:55.000 It is a non starter.
00:32:58.000 Okay, the Ayatollah Mashtabet Khamenei, who is tweeting from the grave, I mean, he's literally not conscious, but his Twitter account is very live, much more alive than he is, put out the following statements.
00:33:10.000 We will definitely take the management of the Strait of Hormuz to a new phase.
00:33:13.000 I mean, he needs to take his IV to a new phase, it sounds like.
00:33:17.000 All must know that by Almighty God's will, we definitely won't allow the criminal aggressors who attacked our country to go on punishment.
00:33:22.000 They just keep threatening and threatening and threatening.
00:33:24.000 And you know, that's it.
00:33:25.000 It's a bold move, God, and we'll see how it works out for them.
00:33:29.000 Meanwhile, the Pakistani defense minister, A person who was the negotiation mediator here, Khawaja Asif. 0.96
00:33:36.000 This is why Pakistan is not a good faith negotiator. 1.00
00:33:39.000 They are a Chinese cutout. 1.00
00:33:40.000 Just understand what they are. 1.00
00:33:41.000 They are a weak horse, Chinese cutout with nuclear weapons. 1.00
00:33:44.000 That is what they are.
00:33:46.000 He put out a statement Israel is evil and a curse for humanity.
00:33:48.000 While peace talks are underway in Islamabad, genocide is being committed in Lebanon.
00:33:52.000 It's amazing how literally everything is a genocide now. 0.77
00:33:54.000 Everything is a genocide.
00:33:55.000 Targeted strikes on specific buildings in Lebanon is a genocide now.
00:33:59.000 Killing 32,000 people in the streets because they oppose the regime, not a genocide.
00:34:04.000 A full scale invasion of your neighbor and wiping civilians off the planet deliberately, not as collateral damage on October 7th, not an attempted genocide. 0.68
00:34:13.000 Genocide is anytime anything bad happens to a radical Muslim somewhere. 0.76
00:34:16.000 That's it. 0.93
00:34:16.000 That's a genocide. 0.93
00:34:17.000 Innocent citizens are being killed by Israel, first Gaza, then Iran, now Lebanon.
00:34:21.000 Bloodletting continues unabated.
00:34:22.000 This is supposed to be the honest broker here in the Middle East. 1.00
00:34:25.000 Okay.
00:34:26.000 Later, this person deleted this statement. 0.99
00:34:27.000 I hope and pray people who created this cancerous state on Palestinian land to get rid of European Jews burn in hell. 1.00
00:34:34.000 Sounds like a great negotiator, this dude. 0.99
00:34:36.000 Again, I will say I am skeptical that these negotiations end with Iran giving up the ghost. 0.52
00:34:41.000 But maybe, listen, it could all be posturing.
00:34:43.000 It really could.
00:34:44.000 It could be them posturing publicly in order to make some sort of excuse for the fact that they got their asses absolutely handed to them. 0.93
00:34:51.000 And by them, I mean Iran and its proxies and its stand ins.
00:34:55.000 Meanwhile, in Lebanon, the prime minister of Israel announced negotiations.
00:34:59.000 He said, In light of Lebanon's repeated request to open direct negotiations with Israel, I instructed at the government meeting yesterday to open direct negotiations with Lebanon.
00:35:06.000 As soon as possible, the negotiation will focus on the disarmament of Hezbollah and the establishment of peaceful relations between Israel and Lebanon.
00:35:13.000 Remember, there's a thing called the Lebanese government.
00:35:15.000 The Lebanese government is not, in fact, Hezbollah, and the Lebanese government does not want Iran running it.
00:35:21.000 In fact, according to Al Monitor, which again is an Arabian outlet, Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salaam said on Thursday that his government alone is responsible for negotiating an end to Israeli hostilities.
00:35:32.000 Negotiations must be conducted solely by the Lebanese state, so it's not up to Hezbollah.
00:35:37.000 Okay, meanwhile, the president on Thursday night made clear that there will be no tolling in the Strait, no fees.
00:35:42.000 There are reports that Iran is charging fees to tankers through the Hormuz Strait.
00:35:45.000 They better not be, and if they are, they better stop now.
00:35:48.000 Same night.
00:35:49.000 Quote He tweets out The Wall Street Journal, one of the worst and most inaccurate editorial boards in the world, stated, I declared a premature victory in Iran.
00:35:58.000 Actually, it is a victory, and there's nothing premature about it.
00:36:01.000 Because of me, Iran will never have a nuclear weapon, and very quickly, you'll see oil start flowing with or without the help of Iran. 0.83
00:36:06.000 And to me, it makes no difference either way.
00:36:08.000 The Wall Street Journal will, as usual, live to eat their words.
00:36:11.000 He says, we're going to disarm Iran and you'll see the oil flowing, essentially.
00:36:15.000 And then he says, listen, our agreement is not shutting the strait. 0.66
00:36:18.000 The strait has remained closed, by the way.
00:36:20.000 So the ceasefire was supposed to reopen the strait.
00:36:22.000 The strait is still closed.
00:36:23.000 The strait of Hormuz is allowing five, six ships a day through.
00:36:27.000 President Trump said, Iran is doing a very poor job, dishonorable, some would say, of allowing oil to go through the strait of Hormuz.
00:36:32.000 That is not the agreement we have.
00:36:33.000 Does this sound like a person who is about to just walk away if he does not get what he wants?
00:36:38.000 Is that what it sounds like to you?
00:36:39.000 Because if so, let me recommend that you get your head checked. 1.00
00:36:42.000 Meanwhile, the Europeans being what the Europeans are, absolute ridiculous pansies. 1.00
00:36:48.000 It is hard to overstate the extent to which the Europeans are pathetic. 1.00
00:36:51.000 Truly, truly, truly pathetic. 0.98
00:36:54.000 Not all in equal measure, some countries more than others.
00:36:57.000 The UK and France being at the top of the list.
00:37:00.000 So the UK, France, Italy, Germany, Canada, Denmark, the Netherlands, Spain, the EC, the European Council, and Japan put out a statement on Wednesday, April 8th. 0.95
00:37:08.000 We welcome the two week ceasefire concluded between the United States and Iran today, and we thank Pakistan.
00:37:13.000 And they say we strongly encourage quick progress toward a substantive negotiated settlement.
00:37:19.000 We call upon all sides to implement the ceasefire, including in Lebanon.
00:37:22.000 So basically, they just want Iran to get its way. 0.64
00:37:24.000 I have a question.
00:37:25.000 Of what use are they?
00:37:26.000 Truly, of what use are they? 0.95
00:37:28.000 The United States may still have an interest in deterring Russia from taking over parts of Europe because we don't like the Russians having more power, because the Russians are worse than the Europeans. 0.91
00:37:36.000 But the Europeans are truly pathetic. 0.89
00:37:40.000 Truly pathetic.
00:37:41.000 They import Russian oil while they're in the middle of a war with Russia.
00:37:44.000 They refuse to stand up for the trade routes that affect them the most.
00:37:47.000 They cater wall when the United States or Israel goes after their enemies.
00:37:53.000 Truly sad people.
00:37:54.000 The president put out a statement NATO wasn't there when we needed them.
00:37:57.000 They won't be there if we need them again.
00:37:58.000 Remember Greenland, that big poorly run piece of ice.
00:38:02.000 He ain't wrong.
00:38:03.000 The disappointment with NATO is quite real.
00:38:06.000 There's been talk, by the way, about punishing NATO countries by moving our bases away from NATO member countries deemed unhelpful to our current war efforts.
00:38:16.000 This is according to the Wall Street Journal.
00:38:18.000 And instead, stationing them in countries.
00:38:19.000 That are more supportive.
00:38:21.000 Makes sense to me. 0.98
00:38:23.000 The idea that the United States has to keep footing the bill for the French is insane. 1.00
00:38:29.000 Let them decay into whatever it is they're going to become. 0.61
00:38:33.000 You can see Mark Rudy, the head of NATO, is pretty disappointed with all of the NATO nations.
00:38:38.000 And he says Trump is right to be disappointed.
00:38:41.000 You just came from a meeting at the White House with President Trump.
00:38:44.000 He's not been hiding his frustrations with NATO countries.
00:38:48.000 How was the meeting?
00:38:48.000 Did he say he's withdrawing?
00:38:50.000 Well, let me be absolutely clear.
00:38:52.000 He is clearly disappointed with many NATO allies, and I can see his point.
00:38:59.000 But at the same time, I was also able to point to the fact that the large majority of European nations has been helpful with basing, with logistics, with overflights, with making sure that they lift up to the commitments.
00:39:16.000 And there is also widespread support for the fact that degrading the nuclear. 0.81
00:39:23.000 And the ballistic missile capacity from Iran was really crucial. 0.73
00:39:27.000 And that only the US was able at this point to do that.
00:39:33.000 Okay, so he is right that some nations have been better than others.
00:39:36.000 Apparently, Poland and the Baltic states, particularly, are ticked off.
00:39:38.000 I wonder why.
00:39:39.000 I wonder why.
00:39:40.000 I mean, if you look at a map of NATO, which nations have been friendly to the United States using their military bases, our military bases on their land?
00:39:47.000 Which ones?
00:39:48.000 It turns out all the ones that border Russia, Poland, all the Baltic states, which ones have been unfriendly? 1.00
00:39:54.000 France, Spain, Italy, initially the UK, the ones that are further away from Russia, those pathetic dullards, truly, truly pathetic people. 1.00
00:40:02.000 Probably, Make America Great Again could also become. 0.90
00:40:06.000 Don't be France.
00:40:07.000 Don't be France is a good slogan, also.
00:40:10.000 Because don't be France, don't be the UK.
00:40:13.000 Declining fairly quickly into uselessness.
00:40:17.000 And the president is right about this.
00:40:18.000 The president put out a Truth Social and he said, listen, I'm going to pressure them.
00:40:21.000 I'm going to continue to pressure them.
00:40:23.000 He said, none of these people, including our own very disappointing NATO, understood anything unless they have pressure placed upon them.
00:40:28.000 I wish he were wrong.
00:40:29.000 He is not wrong.
00:40:30.000 The president is not wrong about any of this.
00:40:32.000 And now, the left immediately seized upon this ceasefire to try to dunk on the president.
00:40:39.000 Again, the true hatred for a strong America that is implicit in this sort of talk is an amazing thing.
00:40:46.000 Jimmy Kimmel hates the president.
00:40:48.000 We get it.
00:40:48.000 Okay, we get it.
00:40:49.000 But the way that he speaks of the United States government in contrast with a fundamentalist, fascist theocracy that shoots dissidents in the streets by the tens of thousands should boggle the mind a little bit.
00:41:04.000 Here is Jimmy Kimmel over the course of the last couple of days How is this negotiation even going to work?
00:41:10.000 This is a government of religious fanatics who don't believe in democracy and they use domestic security forces to terrorize their own citizens.
00:41:18.000 And now we expect Iran to negotiate with them? 0.75
00:41:24.000 Never mind.
00:41:26.000 Really, the only way this conflict ends is if Iran gives Trump some kind of award, like the Hormuz Peace Prize, you know?
00:41:32.000 You put it next to the one he got from Hormel Chili.
00:41:37.000 Okay, now, what's amazing about that first line is the crowd doesn't even laugh.
00:41:40.000 He says, How is Iran supposed to negotiate with religious fanatics?
00:41:43.000 Even the crowd is like, What the hell is wrong with you?
00:41:46.000 Because it turns out that glazing one of the worst regimes on planet Earth just because you hate Trump is a bad move.
00:41:54.000 Meanwhile, Stephanie Rule over on MSNBC, MSNow, as it's called now, commended Iran for having a deep belief in something.
00:42:02.000 We're now at this point.
00:42:04.000 There's a famous tweet online.
00:42:05.000 At no point do you actually have to hand it to Hitler. 0.97
00:42:09.000 This is where they are. 1.00
00:42:09.000 It's like, we have to hand it to the Iranians. 1.00
00:42:11.000 And you know, they're a completely evil regime. 1.00
00:42:13.000 They have something they're willing to die for.
00:42:15.000 Yeah, the thing they're willing to die for is complete evil. 0.64
00:42:18.000 The thing they're willing to die for is an Islamist theocracy with global ambitions. 0.85
00:42:22.000 And you're praising them? 0.95
00:42:24.000 Hell's wrong with you people. 0.97
00:42:26.000 You could disagree with Iran and what their point of view is, but it's the fact that they have a deep belief in something that's unthoughtful. 0.99
00:42:34.000 That they will die for. 0.89
00:42:35.000 That they will die for. 0.99
00:42:36.000 That they'll destroy their country for. 0.94
00:42:38.000 Yes.
00:42:38.000 I mean, he has no ideological belief or patriotism about America, and he doesn't think anybody else does.
00:42:44.000 So when he sees Iranians lining up around power, grids. 0.98
00:42:49.000 He can't understand that. 0.99
00:42:50.000 He thinks they're being paid to do it.
00:42:54.000 What the?
00:42:55.000 They're literally on MSNL praising people standing outside of nuclear power plants who are probably being forced to do so at point of gun or who work for the regime.
00:43:05.000 This is what they've been reduced to at this point.
00:43:07.000 Meanwhile, Michigan Democrats may be about to nominate a Senate candidate named El Sayed, who is full scale in sympathy with radical Islamists because his fans in Dearborn are.
00:43:22.000 He actually stood alongside Hassan Piker, who, again, the fact that Hassan Piker is considered a well respected member of the left. Is truly crazy, truly, truly insane.
00:43:32.000 And this person has never found an Islamist dictator or terrorist group that he can't find some sympathy for.
00:43:40.000 The guy traveled to China to talk about how wonderful China is and Cuba to talk about how wonderful Cuba is.
00:43:44.000 And there he is campaigning with Abdul El Sayed, this Michigan Senate candidate.
00:43:49.000 And this Michigan Senate candidate was asked about the Temple Israel attack, which of course sprang from Dearborn, a terrorist attack from a Hezbollah activist, a Hezbollah aligned person.
00:44:01.000 And he said, Hurt people, hurt people.
00:44:05.000 What is wrong with you people?
00:44:07.000 I'm sorry, that's America hatred. 0.74
00:44:09.000 It's West hatred. 0.90
00:44:10.000 Hurt people, hurt people.
00:44:11.000 The guy who went and tried to attack literal Jewish toddlers at a temple, that guy was a Hezbollah terrorist whose brothers had been killed in Lebanon because they were members of Hezbollah.
00:44:24.000 And you have a man running for high office in Michigan who says that that person was just a hurt person who hurt people.
00:44:31.000 What the?
00:44:32.000 What?
00:44:33.000 Here we go.
00:44:35.000 You know, when it comes to Temple Israel, I was profoundly shaken. 0.63
00:44:39.000 Many of my friends growing up worshiped the Temple Israel.
00:44:42.000 Nothing justifies the heinous attack that we saw on Temple Israel.
00:44:46.000 And, you know, I stand in solidarity with my Jewish sisters and brothers for an America where that kind of thing never happens again.
00:44:54.000 I also think it's just critical for us to understand that hurt people do hurt people.
00:44:58.000 And the circumstances happening 6,000 miles away can affect the lives that we live here.
00:45:04.000 And if we stand against violence, we got to stand against violence, all violence.
00:45:10.000 You can't stand next to Hassan Piker and say that kind of stuff.
00:45:13.000 You just can't.
00:45:14.000 Hakeem Jeffries, the House Minority Leader, he says that Donald Trump has failed America and NATO.
00:45:19.000 We've somehow failed NATO.
00:45:20.000 So NATO's been useless.
00:45:21.000 We failed them.
00:45:22.000 He says we failed the free world.
00:45:24.000 Trump has failed the free world.
00:45:28.000 Which part of the free world has been failed by an attack on Iran to destroy their capacities?
00:45:34.000 Here's Hakeem Jeffries again.
00:45:36.000 Trump is standing for a stronger America.
00:45:39.000 Hakeem Jeffries is standing for a weaker America, period.
00:45:43.000 Donald Trump has failed America, failed the NATO alliance, and failed the free world.
00:45:51.000 And he seems to confuse friend with foe.
00:45:55.000 And the fact that Vice President Vance is over in Eastern Europe right now supporting an authoritarian dictator is extraordinary.
00:46:05.000 The fact that Donald Trump and Republicans Continue to play footsie with Vladimir Putin and Russia, sworn enemies of the United States of America, is extraordinary.
00:46:16.000 And the fact that Donald Trump continues to attack our allies, whether it's Canada, Mexico, or NATO, is extraordinary.
00:46:26.000 Something is really wrong with this guy.
00:46:31.000 I mean, there's something wrong with that guy.
00:46:33.000 I'm sorry.
00:46:34.000 Okay.
00:46:35.000 Meanwhile, the grievance right, which of course agrees with the left, that again, they believe America toast.
00:46:39.000 Not America first, America toast.
00:46:41.000 America is done.
00:46:42.000 It's cooked. 0.96
00:46:43.000 They're totally black pilled on the United States. 0.99
00:46:45.000 The United States must recede within her own boundaries and turn into a fat, bloated country addicted to welfare. 1.00
00:46:51.000 That's the only way forward.
00:46:53.000 That's the only way forward for the United States, according to these people, which is why they openly, again, it's not me saying that attributing to them views they don't speak for themselves.
00:47:01.000 They openly say the world will be a better place.
00:47:03.000 With China and Russia in charge of large swaths of it.
00:47:07.000 I'm just going to remember, because we're going to get to President Trump's big tweet last night in which he went after, in order, Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, Megyn Kelly, and Alex Jones.
00:47:17.000 The reason he is going after these people is because these people have revealed themselves for who they are people who do not actually want to make America great again.
00:47:24.000 They believe America is weak and ought to remain weak.
00:47:27.000 Remember, it was just a few days ago that Tucker Carlson, in all of his newfound insanity, was calling President Trump a war criminal.
00:47:35.000 Yesterday at the White House, they all show up in the middle of Christian Holy Week, four days before Easter. 0.63
00:47:43.000 And not just the fringe Christian Zionist, John Higgy, or these strange people, but the big guys. 0.56
00:47:51.000 Franklin Graham, son of Billy Graham, shows up at the White House yesterday to pray over the president so he will have wisdom and restraint. 0.58
00:47:59.000 No, to endorse the murder of civilians.
00:48:06.000 Which is a war crime, but more important, it's a moral crime.
00:48:12.000 You can't kill people who have committed no crime, who did nothing wrong. 0.54
00:48:17.000 You can't murder the innocent.
00:48:18.000 You can't kill kids and women.
00:48:22.000 And yet, Franklin Graham is up there standing at the podium praying for that.
00:48:29.000 Now, how do you do that?
00:48:30.000 Well, by quoting something called the Book of Esther.
00:48:32.000 Tucker Carlson is.
00:48:33.000 This is who Tucker Carlson is.
00:48:35.000 It's Tucker.
00:48:38.000 Again, I think the best case scenario is that he's lost his mind and that he's been taking too much Alp.
00:48:42.000 30 Alp pouches a day will apparently do that to you. 1.00
00:48:45.000 Alp made in India. 1.00
00:48:46.000 But whether it is mental illness or mental break or whether it is a just deeply horrific view of America and the world, it doesn't really matter. 0.97
00:48:54.000 Bottom line is that Tucker is a demoralization agent.
00:48:57.000 He believes that America is trashed.
00:48:59.000 He says it over and over and over.
00:49:01.000 He does not actually believe America can ever be great again.
00:49:04.000 He believes that America should basically just turn into a European socialist style welfare state that is isolationist in intent.
00:49:12.000 That is what he wants.
00:49:13.000 And he is willing to traffic in any sort of conspiracy theory of any ilk in order to get there.
00:49:17.000 Meanwhile, Marjorie Taylor Greene, again, the strange new respect being afforded to these people is truly incredible. 0.99
00:49:23.000 Marjorie Taylor Greene is an idiot. 0.95
00:49:25.000 She's been an idiot for years. 1.00
00:49:28.000 Everyone knows that Marjorie Taylor Greene is an idiot. 1.00
00:49:31.000 From the time she was tweeting about the Jewish space lasers through her inability to distinguish the Gestapo from Gaspacho, Marjorie Taylor Greene is one of the dumbest people in American politics. 0.94
00:49:41.000 And she has been, again, for years.
00:49:43.000 The great tragedy is that President Trump didn't defenestrate her earlier and that he was hanging around with her. 0.69
00:49:49.000 Marjorie Taylor Greene, unsurprisingly, since she has left Congress because she was not going to win her seat again, she now says that Christians must speak out against Trump because Trump is busy, you know, taking out an Islamist dictatorship. 0.51
00:50:05.000 And I really have to call out the speaker, Mike Johnson, who calls himself a Christian.
00:50:10.000 I don't know how he can stand by those words.
00:50:13.000 That's what was so offensive to me.
00:50:14.000 Any, any Christian serving in Congress or serving in the Senate and serving in the administration really needs to take pause and ask themselves, as a Christian, do you really support the president calling for the annihilation, calling to wipe out an entire civilization of people?
00:50:33.000 And I don't think you should because that's not what Jesus said and that's not what Christianity is all about.
00:50:39.000 And so I think that, yeah, I'm probably one of the few.
00:50:43.000 It was me, Tucker Carlson, Alex Jones, and a few others that are willing to call it out and speak out against this because we're willing to be honest.
00:50:54.000 CNN is so excited for Marjorie Taylor Greene being there.
00:50:58.000 And, you know, again, I will let Christians speak to her take on Christianity. 0.72
00:51:02.000 I will say that from all the Christians that I know, and I know an awful lot of Christians, that is a deeply flawed take.
00:51:07.000 I also do have questions about Marjorie Taylor Greene as a Christian icon.
00:51:11.000 Daily Mail, February 11th, 2021.
00:51:13.000 Controversial conspiracy Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene cheated on her husband with a polyamorous tantric sex guru, DailyMail.com has learned.
00:51:20.000 Then, after ending her affair with him, the mom of three moved on to a gym manager behind her husband's back.
00:51:27.000 Well, she didn't just say that. 0.95
00:51:28.000 She also said that the Republican Party should be ended.
00:51:31.000 Again, if you think that these people are standing up for the greatness of America by saying the Republican Party ought to be, they want to hand it to the Democrats.
00:51:38.000 Does that sound like America First to you?
00:51:42.000 We have to be realistic about the Republican Party. 0.79
00:51:45.000 The Republican Party needs burned to the ground.
00:51:47.000 It's completely controlled. 0.99
00:51:49.000 As a matter of fact, much of Congress is controlled by AIPAC and by Zionists. 1.00
00:51:54.000 And that is a serious problem. 0.99
00:51:56.000 That means you, the American people, don't control your own government and those you elect.
00:52:01.000 They're controlled by donors that have one specific interest, and that is Israel. 0.83
00:52:09.000 Again, she is a ridiculous human being.
00:52:11.000 AIPAC is not even like.
00:52:13.000 A top 50 donor.
00:52:15.000 This notion that AIPAC is running the American government is total trash.
00:52:18.000 But again, she's speaking to Alex Jones, one of the great conspiracy theorists of our time.
00:52:22.000 One of the problems with the Republican Party over the last 10 years or so, and probably earlier, is that it let in a bunch of grifters who don't know anything and then brought them in to spew conspiracy theories because they were part of the quote unquote anti left coalition. 0.54
00:52:36.000 And then it turns out that when you allow the big tent to be really, really, really big, you end up with a lot of clowns in there.
00:52:44.000 And Alex Jones sitting along for all of this.
00:52:46.000 Alex Jones is the guy who had to pay out a bajillion dollar settlement because he was lying about dead kids at Sandy Hook.
00:52:54.000 That guy was welcomed.
00:52:55.000 That guy was treated as Tucker Carlson literally called that guy a prophet.
00:52:59.000 He literally called him a prophet, Alex Jones, who, by the way, says he no longer supports Trump.
00:53:04.000 He put out that tweet yesterday saying that he no longer supports President Trump.
00:53:09.000 I made it very clear I no longer support Trump.
00:53:11.000 And I'm very thankful to him for making it clear that I have nothing to do with him.
00:53:14.000 The new Trump is a rotting husk of the old Trump.
00:53:16.000 Speaking of a rotting husk, do you take a look in the mirror, my dude?
00:53:22.000 Testosterone replacement therapy can only do so much. 0.76
00:53:25.000 Meanwhile, Megyn Kelly, who is always programming into the clicks, always and forever, will never stop, never stop, never stopping.
00:53:31.000 Megyn Kelly, always programming to the clicks.
00:53:34.000 Still, I'm just going to say it again.
00:53:36.000 We are now, let's see, what is it?
00:53:37.000 April, it's April 10th today.
00:53:40.000 So I'm just going to point out that it's April 10th.
00:53:43.000 Charlie Kirk was shot September 10th of last year.
00:53:47.000 Okay, it is now April 10th.
00:53:50.000 So how many months is that?
00:53:54.000 That is.
00:53:56.000 What?
00:53:56.000 Let's see.
00:53:57.000 September to October, October to November, November to December, December to January, January to February, February to March, March to April.
00:54:02.000 We are seven months after Charlie Kirk was assassinated.
00:54:06.000 And this delightful human being still will not say that Candace Owens and her conspiracy laden crap about Erica Kirk is morally wrong.
00:54:16.000 She still won't do it. 0.99
00:54:17.000 That's all I ever said Megan should do.
00:54:19.000 Ever. 0.89
00:54:20.000 She still won't do it.
00:54:21.000 And we are seven months in.
00:54:22.000 But don't worry. 0.90
00:54:24.000 You need her moral imprimatur to go to war against the Ayatollahs. 1.00
00:54:28.000 You need it. 0.98
00:54:29.000 And you know what?
00:54:29.000 She's passionate about things, Megan.
00:54:32.000 You can tell she's passionate because she curses a lot more than she used to.
00:54:34.000 That's how you know she really believes the things she's saying, because she drops four letter words a lot and also makes insulting comments about the genitalia of her political opponents.
00:54:45.000 I'm old enough to remember when she was asking President Trump about doing that in 2015.
00:54:49.000 That's how old I am.
00:54:50.000 But don't worry, Megan Kelly, she's even older than I am.
00:54:53.000 Here we go.
00:54:55.000 I mean, I don't know about you, but I am sick of this.
00:54:58.000 I'm just, I'm sick of it.
00:55:01.000 Can he just behave like a normal human?
00:55:05.000 I mean, honestly, like the president, I 3D chess, shut up, shut up about that.
00:55:13.000 You don't threaten to wipe out an entire civilization.
00:55:17.000 We're talking about civilians just casually in a social media post.
00:55:23.000 This is wrong, it's wrong.
00:55:26.000 He should not be doing it.
00:55:28.000 I don't care that it's a negotiation tactic. 1.00
00:55:31.000 She's like the worst third-rate band you know. 1.00
00:55:33.000 Seriously, that's what she'd become. 1.00
00:55:35.000 Men, women, and children.
00:55:36.000 I mean, she's okay, Megan, we get it.
00:55:36.000 Stop it.
00:55:38.000 You're doing your best Tim Dillon impression.
00:55:40.000 You've now been relegated to doing a Tim Dillon impersonation because you're cursing.
00:55:44.000 You're so sick.
00:55:45.000 You literally played that clip like five minutes ago, and now you're just imitating it.
00:55:48.000 And then you're imitating it.
00:55:49.000 It's just wrong.
00:55:50.000 Killing civilians.
00:55:51.000 Again, none of these people, Tucker doesn't think it, Candace doesn't think it, Megan doesn't think it.
00:55:56.000 None of these people think that Trump was going to nuke Iran.
00:56:00.000 The sudden pearl clutching from all the people who know for a fact that Trump is not going to nuke Iran and wipe out the entire civilian population is truly an astonishing thing.
00:56:08.000 Truly an astonishing thing.
00:56:09.000 But you know, she's passionate because she's cursing now.
00:56:11.000 So that's the important thing.
00:56:13.000 Meanwhile, Nick Fuentes is just saying the quiet part out loud, which I appreciate about Fuentes.
00:56:17.000 At least Fuentes is honest in his evil.
00:56:20.000 Quote, I don't trust anybody who just started criticizing Trump this year, but continues to shill for GOP and JD Vans.
00:56:25.000 Time to be unreasonable.
00:56:26.000 Burn it all down.
00:56:27.000 I want retribution for this betrayal.
00:56:29.000 Democrats for Congress in 2026.
00:56:31.000 And America's first presidential candidate in 2028.
00:56:33.000 And there he's ruling out even JD Vance.
00:56:36.000 So we'll point that out.
00:56:37.000 So President Trump finally had enough of all of this.
00:56:39.000 And he put out a statement last night.
00:56:41.000 And listen, folks, if you had listened to my show for a few years, you would have been early on this one. 0.76
00:56:47.000 He put out a statement I know why Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens, and Alex Jones have all been fighting me for years, especially by the fact they think it is wonderful for Iran, the number one state sponsor of terror, to have a nuclear weapon. 0.73
00:56:58.000 Because they have one thing in common low IQs.
00:57:00.000 They're stupid people.
00:57:01.000 They know it.
00:57:02.000 Their families know it.
00:57:03.000 And everyone else knows it.
00:57:05.000 Look at their record.
00:57:05.000 Look at their past.
00:57:06.000 They don't have what it takes and they never did.
00:57:08.000 They've all been thrown off TV, lost their shows, and aren't even invited on TV because nobody cares about them.
00:57:12.000 They're nut jobs, troublemakers, and will say anything necessary for some free and cheap publicity.
00:57:16.000 That last part is definitely true.
00:57:18.000 Now they think they get some clicks because they have third rate podcasts, but nobody's talking about them.
00:57:22.000 Their views are the opposite of MAGA, or I wouldn't have won the presidential election in a landslide.
00:57:27.000 MAGA agrees with me, says the president, and just gave CNN a 100% approval rating of Trump, not hand flailing fools like Tucker Carlson, who couldn't even finish college.
00:57:35.000 He was a broken man when he got fired from Fox, and he's never been the same.
00:57:38.000 Perhaps he should see a good psychiatrist.
00:57:40.000 Or Megyn Kelly, who nastily asked me the now famous only Rosie O'Donnell question, or crazy Candace Owens, who accuses the highly respected First Lady of France of being a man when she is not and will hopefully win lots of money in the ongoing lawsuit. 0.55
00:57:52.000 Actually, to me, the First Lady of France is a far more beautiful woman than Candace.
00:57:56.000 In fact, it's not even close.
00:57:58.000 Or bankrupt Alex Jones, who says some of the dumbest things and lost his entire fortune, as he should have, for his horrendous attack on the families of the Sandy Hook shooting victims, ridiculously claiming it was a hoax.
00:58:07.000 These so called pundits are losers, and they will always be.
00:58:09.000 Now, fake news CNN, the failing New York Times, and all the other radical left news organizations are hailing them and giving them positive press for the first time in their lives.
00:58:17.000 They're not MAGA, they're losers, just trying to latch on to MAGA.
00:58:20.000 As president, I could get them on my side anytime I want to.
00:58:23.000 But when they call, I don't return their calls because I'm too busy on world and country affairs.
00:58:27.000 And after a few times, they go nasty, just like Marjorie Trader Brown.
00:58:30.000 But I no longer care about that stuff.
00:58:32.000 I only care about doing right for our country.
00:58:34.000 MAGA is about winning and strength in not allowing Iran to have nuclear weapons.
00:58:37.000 MAGA is about making America great again.
00:58:40.000 And these people have no idea how to do that.
00:58:42.000 But I do because the United States is now the hottest country anywhere in the world, President Donald J. Trump.
00:58:47.000 So, again, is the president wrong about that?
00:58:51.000 I don't see why he would be.
00:58:53.000 I do not see why he would be.
00:58:55.000 Because the reality is, once again, the president of the United States is facing down people who fairly openly are rooting for American weakness and are willing to buy into any trash conspiracy theory in order to bolster their own ratings and in order to get the clicks.
00:59:10.000 And by the way, they'll pretty much admit it.
00:59:11.000 They'll just brag about their clicks as a defense mechanism.
00:59:14.000 You point out what they're doing is wrong and immoral, and they point out that what you're doing gets lower ratings, which last I checked is not a defense to wrong and immoral and untrue.
00:59:24.000 All right, meanwhile, the other big news of the day is that Melania apparently gave a speech denouncing Jeffrey Epstein and talking about Jeffrey Epstein.
00:59:31.000 And people are going crazy over this Melania speech on Jeffrey Epstein.
00:59:35.000 Honestly, I'm not sure what prompted her to do this, but she denied ties to him.
00:59:40.000 She called on Congress, told the hearing for survivors.
00:59:42.000 Here's what she had to say To be clear, I never had a relationship with Epstein or his accomplice, Maxwell.
00:59:53.000 Numerous fake images.
00:59:56.000 And statements about Epstein and me have been calculating on social media for years now.
01:00:07.000 Be cautious about what you believe.
01:00:11.000 These images and stories are completely false.
01:00:16.000 Now, again, the way that the stupid internet works is that her denying a thing makes the thing true.
01:00:22.000 That's how it works, is that if she says that she was not associated with Epstein, it's probably because she was associated with Epstein.
01:00:27.000 That's where we're supposed to be right now.
01:00:29.000 Well, it's incredibly stupid.
01:00:31.000 It's incredibly dumb.
01:00:33.000 But, you know, the reality is that the reason that she's doing that, I would assume, is because the propaganda has ramped into high gear on Epstein, specifically because there are a lot of bot farms out there that push this kind of stuff on X and on TikTok in the middle of a war with Iran.
01:00:47.000 That is not a coincidence.
01:00:48.000 That, I would assume, is the reason why she felt the necessity to go out and make that statement.
01:00:52.000 I think it's ill advised, but it doesn't matter what I think.
01:00:54.000 It's already done.
01:00:55.000 And meanwhile, in other dumb cultural news, I just have to comment on this one thing from Nikki Glazer.
01:01:01.000 So, Nikki Glazer. 0.73
01:01:02.000 Is a comedian who is occasionally funny.
01:01:06.000 She was on Call Her Daddy with Alex Cooper, which, oh my gosh, I can't, speaking of things that should not have ratings in a sane world.
01:01:14.000 In any case, she described how she thinks it's hot when her husband sleeps with other women, which, you know, I, okay, I mean, seems weird, seems like you got some problems in your life, but I mean, you could have told that by the fact that she's a comedian.
01:01:33.000 I will say that the comedians are not famous for having.
01:01:36.000 Stable mental lives.
01:01:38.000 Here she was. 1.00
01:01:40.000 In a relationship, I don't really care if my boyfriend were to hook up. 0.97
01:01:44.000 Okay, I read about that.
01:01:45.000 Yeah, I like that.
01:01:46.000 We need to talk about that.
01:01:47.000 But that is not a two way street.
01:01:48.000 Like, I'm not someone who likes to hook up when I'm in a relationship.
01:01:52.000 I'm not really like, I don't really care about that.
01:01:54.000 I, you know, but I don't care if someone else were to.
01:01:57.000 Hold on.
01:01:58.000 In fact, I like kind of like it.
01:01:59.000 It's kind of a problem, I think.
01:02:01.000 Yeah, yeah, yeah.
01:02:02.000 No, we need to talk about this.
01:02:06.000 No.
01:02:07.000 There are people who listen to this.
01:02:10.000 It says more about America that people listen to this than it does about Nikki Glazer that she says it.
01:02:14.000 She then continued and explained, unfortunately for all of us.
01:02:17.000 If I had to listen to it, so do you.
01:02:20.000 You call this the hot husband fetish.
01:02:22.000 Yes.
01:02:23.000 Which is essentially when you want your partner to have sexual experiences with other people outside of the relationship.
01:02:27.000 Yeah.
01:02:27.000 So when did this start for you, Nikki?
01:02:29.000 Let's go back.
01:02:30.000 It started with my boyfriend when I was 29, because I really hadn't had a boyfriend before then.
01:02:34.000 He would tell me about, like, I would always ask him about, like, past hookups and girlfriends and how they got together.
01:02:41.000 Like, I was like the beginning.
01:02:42.000 Like, how did you guys?
01:02:43.000 First, I know you liked each other.
01:02:44.000 Like, I love that, like, our legs were touching under a table and neither of us moved our leg or something, like, stuff like that.
01:02:48.000 I'd be like, oh, so, like, I don't know, it would make me, like, horny to, like, think about him doing that with other girls.
01:02:53.000 And then I would, so I'd ask about all of his, like, girlfriends or anyone he had hooked up with, like, all the details about it.
01:02:59.000 And I would really be, like, a foreplay for me.
01:03:01.000 Like, I would get, like, revved up talking about it.
01:03:03.000 And then it reached a point where he was out of stories.
01:03:05.000 Like, he had gone through all of them.
01:03:07.000 And I was like, and then it's almost like he was telling the same ones.
01:03:10.000 And I was like, I know this one.
01:03:11.000 So it wasn't as exciting anymore because I was getting the same stuff.
01:03:14.000 So I was like, I know this is, I like, I had never heard of anything like this.
01:03:17.000 I felt so weird, but I was like, I think I need you to like get some more stories.
01:03:25.000 Wow.
01:03:27.000 Great.
01:03:28.000 Well, at least millions of people won't watch that and then imitate that in their own lives and ruin them.
01:03:35.000 How could it go wrong?
01:03:36.000 All right.
01:03:36.000 Well, in better news, you guys all know Reagan Conrad.
01:03:39.000 She's been on the show before.
01:03:40.000 She's a host here at The Daily Wire.
01:03:42.000 She has a brand new series called This Is Reagan Conrad.
01:03:45.000 You can find it over right now on YouTube, where she hosts deep dives, interviews, and mini documentaries about the issues she cares most about.
01:03:51.000 And her first episode is apparently on something called Kratom, which is, I've heard about this, but it's kind of a shocking thing.
01:03:57.000 Reagan, thanks so much for taking the time.
01:03:58.000 Appreciate it.
01:03:59.000 Of course, yeah, I'm glad to transition out of that garbage.
01:04:05.000 So let's talk about something actually more serious, which is your first episode, which is on this substance called Kratom.
01:04:13.000 Why should people care about it?
01:04:13.000 What is that?
01:04:14.000 Yeah, so Kratom, it's originally a leaf in Southeast Asia, and it came over to the States.
01:04:19.000 And recently, over the past couple of years, it's become this phenomenon of sorts because chemists got involved with this derivative that's actually in the leaf called 70H.
01:04:27.000 It's becoming super popular, kids are getting addicted to it.
01:04:30.000 Adults are getting addicted, people are getting involved, and they didn't even know it's a drug, and now it essentially acts like an opiate.
01:04:35.000 And so it's causing a lot of concern for people across the country.
01:04:40.000 And it's just kind of operated in like a gray area for a long time.
01:04:43.000 And so people haven't understood what this thing is.
01:04:45.000 And so we wanted to deep dive and understand what is this?
01:04:49.000 Why are people going to rehab for a drug that they didn't even know was a drug?
01:04:51.000 And that's what our first deep dive was on.
01:04:55.000 And this is an actual serious issue.
01:04:57.000 I mean, I have a friend who at one point was addicted to fentanyl, and this person has.
01:05:03.000 Had a relapse because of kratom, because it actually acts, as you say, like an opioid.
01:05:09.000 Now, where can people get it?
01:05:11.000 I believe it's just kind of sold over the counter, like normal stores, correct?
01:05:14.000 Yeah, you can get it at like a gas station.
01:05:16.000 People are finding it at gas stations, they're going to smoke shops.
01:05:18.000 And again, what I think is so nefarious about it is it is targeting people who are former addicts, which makes it so much more evil.
01:05:25.000 You know, people that have had sobriety issues in the past, they're getting re addicted, thinking they're in the clear, and then they're going back to rehab.
01:05:32.000 So I've heard so many stories since we released it of people reaching out saying, hey, thanks for talking about this.
01:05:37.000 My brother's addicted, we don't know what to do, and this is just, I mean, it's a huge thing that no one's talking about, which I think at the very least, people need to be aware of it before we discuss what to do about it.
01:05:46.000 Well, the retailer of Kratom actually sent a cease and desist after Reagan's very first episode based on this.
01:05:54.000 They just, what, wanted you to take down the episode?
01:05:57.000 What was the ask?
01:05:57.000 Yeah, people aren't happy to be talking about it.
01:06:00.000 And I think that's only kind of reinvigorates the idea of, like, then there is an issue here.
01:06:04.000 There is a gray area that, again, people have been operating in.
01:06:07.000 And now they don't want it brought to light.
01:06:09.000 And that's kind of the whole point of the show we want to be bringing these issues to light.
01:06:13.000 And whether they're going to be, people are going to be angry about it or not, that's kind of the whole point, you know, is to keep exposing it.
01:06:19.000 So that's what we're going to do.
01:06:22.000 So, Reagan, what other topics can we look forward to covering on This is Reagan Conrad available at YouTube?
01:06:27.000 Yeah, so we're on YouTube now, and like you said, we have a couple different types of formats.
01:06:31.000 It was one of the first things you asked me when I joined in this position.
01:06:34.000 You're like, what are you interested in?
01:06:35.000 I was like, deep dives.
01:06:36.000 That's what I love to do.
01:06:37.000 So, that's what we're doing.
01:06:38.000 We've been doing it for months, kind of building these up.
01:06:40.000 But our first one that's going to be coming out, well, we had the Kratom one. 0.76
01:06:43.000 On Saturday, we have our big episodes that launch. 0.81
01:06:45.000 And the one that's coming up this weekend is about the education system, the failures that are happening, why we are such a great country, and yet we have a failing education system.
01:06:53.000 And I interview a filmmaker who did a deep dive for about a decade to understand what is going so wrong.
01:06:59.000 He found himself at the NEA, corruption on so many levels, teachers praising the Satanic Temple.
01:07:05.000 I mean, it was the most insane deep dive that he did.
01:07:07.000 So we talked to him about it and show a lot of those clips.
01:07:10.000 And he has a documentary that's going to be coming out about that or that is out now in Angel Studios called The Death of Recess.
01:07:15.000 Crazy, crazy story.
01:07:16.000 So that's what's coming up this Saturday.
