00:05:17.000 Striking more than 1,500 air defense targets, more than 450 ballistic missile storage facilities, 800 one way attack drones for storage facilities.

00:05:58.000 And all this talk about how Iran barely surviving, which is what is going on right now, basically, them having to exert pressure on the Strait of Hormuz, that is not, by the way, a sign of Iranian strength. 0.99

00:06:34.000 Okay, so this raises the question of President Trump's ceasefire.

00:06:38.000 So, as you recall, it was right before Passover for me, the last couple of days of Passover, and literally right before Passover it came in, the president announced a ceasefire.

00:06:46.000 So he put out a statement on Truth Social where he said, based on conversations with Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asin Munir of Pakistan, And we're in.

00:06:55.000 They requested that I hold off the destruction force being sent tonight to Iran and subject to the Islamic Republic of Iran agreeing to the complete, immediate, and safe opening of the Strait of Hormuz.

00:07:04.000 I agreed to suspend the bombing and attack of Iran for a period of two weeks. 0.67

00:07:08.000 This will be a double sided ceasefire. 0.54

00:07:10.000 The reason for doing so is that we have already met and exceeded our military objectives and are very far along with a definitive agreement concerning long form peace with Iran and peace in the Middle East.

00:07:19.000 We received a 10 point proposal from Iran and believe it is a workable basis on which to negotiate.

00:07:23.000 Almost all of the various points of past contention have been agreed to between the United States and Iran.

00:07:27.000 But a two week period will allow the agreement to be finalized and consummated.

00:07:31.000 On behalf of the United States of America, as President, and also representing the countries of the Middle East, it is an honor to have this long form problem close to resolution.

00:07:42.000 Let's say that that were all true and that what the president had been assured by his negotiator, who it appears was the vice president, JD Vance, on this particular matter.

00:07:54.000 If what the president says is true, Iran had agreed to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and outstanding issues, which of course include nuclear development, were basically being negotiated.

00:09:32.000 He said, On behalf of the Islamic Republic of Iran, I express gratitude and appreciation for my dear brothers in Pakistan.

00:09:39.000 In response to the brotherly request of Prime Minister Sharif in his tweet, and considering the request by the United States for negotiation based on its 15 point proposal, as well as announcements by the president about acceptance.

00:09:52.000 Of the general framework of Iran's 10 point proposal as a basis for negotiation, I hereby declare on behalf of Iran's Supreme National Security Council if attacks against Iran are halted, our powerful armed forces will cease their defensive operations.

00:10:06.000 And the propaganda from these people, my goodness.

00:10:08.000 For a period of two weeks, safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz will be possible via coordination with Iran's armed forces and with the consideration of technical limitations.

00:10:15.000 Okay, so what you read from him is basically confirmation of what Trump said.

00:10:20.000 Okay, right, that the Strait of Hormuz is going to open and also.

00:10:24.000 That they were considering the 15 point proposal the United States had put forward. 0.94

00:10:28.000 Now, you have to understand, the original 10 point proposal put forward by Iran is total trash. 0.97

00:10:34.000 It included America abandoning all bases in the Middle East.

00:10:37.000 It included the United States paying reparations for the damage in the war.

00:10:41.000 It included full scale nuclear development by Iran and full scale ballistic missile development by Iran.

00:10:54.000 So, the reaction of the markets is precisely what you think that it would be.

00:10:58.000 The price of a barrel of Brent crude had spiked into the 115 range prior to the president's announcement of the ceasefire, and then it dived below 100 again immediately upon the announcement of the ceasefire.

00:11:12.000 That's WTI crude oil, actually.

00:11:14.000 Brent crude plunged as well.

00:11:17.000 None of this being a gigantic shock.

00:11:20.000 Wednesday morning, the president put forward another statement on Truth Social where he said, the United States will work closely with Iran, which we have determined has gone through what will be a very productive regime change.

00:11:29.000 Again, it is totally unclear who he's talking to at this point.

00:11:31.000 I mean, it is regime change in the sense that the same people aren't talking to you, but if they are the same people's deputies who are saying the same things, it's not full regime change.

00:11:40.000 So he says, there will be no enrichment of uranium.

00:11:42.000 Again, that's the red line.

00:11:43.000 The United States will, working with Iran, dig up and remove all of the deeply buried nuclear dust.

00:11:48.000 It is now and has been under very exacting satellite surveillance.

00:11:51.000 Nothing has been touched from the date of attack.

00:11:53.000 We are and will be talking tariff and sanctions relief with Iran.

00:11:56.000 Many of the 15 points have already been agreed to.

00:11:58.000 Thank you for your attention to this matter.

00:11:59.000 Okay, so if, again, the president received from Iran an actual deal in which the nuclear program goes bye bye and the Strait of Hormuz is reopened, that is the end of the conflict.

00:12:13.000 That's been the president's case for a long time here. 0.78

00:12:16.000 Okay, because we have degraded their ballistic missile facilities, we have killed all the heads of the IRGC, we killed the Ayatollah.

00:12:22.000 His son, Mashtaba Khamenei, is missing a leg and is in a coma.

00:12:27.000 Because their Air Force is gone, their Navy is gone, their military has been heavily bombarded.

00:12:32.000 Okay, so that's why you end up with the ceasefire.

00:12:36.000 So, when I say that this is a win win, here is what I mean.

00:12:40.000 There are a few good reasons why you do the ceasefire.

00:12:42.000 First of all, you show goodwill that if the Strait were to reopen and Iran were to negotiate an end to its nuclear program, that would be the end of the war, which is what Trump has said literally from the beginning. 0.69

00:12:54.000 This is why it's hilarious.

00:12:55.000 All these people saying, well, his goal is regime change.

00:12:57.000 He never said it was regime change.

00:12:59.000 In fact, he overtly kept saying it wasn't regime change.

00:13:02.000 It was regime change behavior, that the behavior should change.

00:13:07.000 So either they're going to prove it or they're not going to prove it.

00:13:10.000 And that's why it's a two week ceasefire and not just an end to the war, because you still have to negotiate whether that is true or not.

00:13:17.000 Also, this is a signal to China.

00:13:19.000 Okay, that's the second reason to do a ceasefire like this.

00:13:22.000 Let's be clear about this negotiation. 0.79

00:13:23.000 Pakistan is a cutout for China. 0.60

00:13:25.000 Pakistan is basically a Chinese proxy at this point, period.

00:13:30.000 China was begging the United States to stop here because China has been deprived of some 37% of the oil that is coming through the Strait of Hormuz.

00:13:39.000 They are the largest single recipient of all oil from the Strait of Hormuz.

00:13:43.000 33% of all of their oil imports come directly from the Strait of Hormuz.

00:13:47.000 Iran is choking that off.

00:13:50.000 China's not getting its oil right now, which harms China significantly more than it harms the United States.

00:13:54.000 So the United States, as a goodwill gesture to China, is offering Iran a path out.

00:14:01.000 Now, if Iran doesn't show the goodwill to take it, what is China going to do? 0.85

00:14:04.000 Is China going to be super happy with the Iranians for continuing to choke off the Strait of Hormuz as their only methodology for attaining power? 0.72

00:14:12.000 Because again, they don't have a fully functional nuclear program. 0.82

00:14:15.000 It seems as though the Iranian government is trying to turn itself into a hermit state like North Korea. 0.76

00:14:20.000 Basically, they're saying, okay, we have no economy.

00:14:23.000 Okay, our country's trashed, but we will hang on to power by exerting leverage. 0.90

00:14:27.000 They don't have a nuclear weapon the way that North Korea does. 0.86

00:14:30.000 That's the thing we've been trying to stop. 0.93

00:14:32.000 Because if they got a nuclear weapon, not only would they hand it off to their terror proxies, they would also threaten everybody with it. 0.71

00:14:38.000 Right now, they're using the Strait of Hormuz to threaten everybody. 0.77

00:14:41.000 The reason they won't give up control of the Strait is because they have no leverage if they give up control of the Strait.

00:14:47.000 Again, this could all be over tomorrow if they give up their nukes and control of the Strait.

00:14:50.000 The question is whether they're going to do that.

00:14:52.000 Trump is offering them an off ramp to do that.

00:14:54.000 Maybe they'll take it.

00:14:55.000 All likelihood they won't.

00:14:57.000 Also, by the way, this does allow for military replenishment.

00:15:00.000 We've been flying continuous sorties for a month, so it's not a terrible time to do maintenance.

00:15:04.000 And repair and some planning for whatever the next step is going to be, if in fact the negotiations go sideways.

00:15:10.000 So, the people who are all over Trump here, who believe that he's just going to give up the ghost, that he's going to leave without achieving some status change in Iran's nuclear approach, or that the control of the Straits is going to be left completely to the behest of the Iranians, it beggars imagination.

00:15:27.000 It doesn't make any sense because it cuts directly against the purpose of President Trump doing this, which is a stronger America.

00:15:35.000 There would be knock on effects if.

00:15:37.000 If Iran were able to just maintain complete control over the strait and no deal took place and the U.S. just walked away, yes, they would be greatly weakened, but it would send some pretty bad messages. 0.52

00:15:46.000 Like, for example, that any country could talk the United States into abandoning core national interests over shutting down serious trade routes.

00:15:55.000 China might take notice of that, for example, because the Taiwan Strait, which, you know, like it's called the Taiwan Strait because it passes right by Taiwan, it carries 20% of all global maritime trade.

00:16:07.000 It carries something like 90% of the world's largest ships by tonnage.

00:16:10.000 So, if China takes away the lesson that shutting off a trade corridor is leverage against the United States sufficient to deter us from our core national interests, that's a problem.

00:16:19.000 It would also mean, because China's way stronger than Iran, that any country with a few drones and ballistic missiles and some geographic proximity to a choke point could wave off the most powerful force on planet Earth. 0.62

00:16:32.000 And it would be very bad for President Trump's legacy, because again, two years from now, three years from now, Iran could theoretically rebuild and then claim real victory over President Trump. 0.96

00:16:41.000 Unless, again, unless the reality here is that either way this goes, no matter what happens here, the Iranian government has already been hit so hard that they are going to fall apart anyway, which, by the way, is certainly possible. 0.81

00:16:56.000 They are a wounded animal that's had one leg removed, not unlike the new Ayatollah Khomeini. 0.93

00:17:01.000 They are crawling away into the woods.

00:17:03.000 They may survive.

00:17:04.000 The question is, for how long?

00:17:06.000 Because they are still bleeding, because their infrastructure no longer exists in the same way, because all of their ballistic missile facilities have been destroyed, because their steel mills have been destroyed, because Their gas fields in South Pars were hit because their chemical factories were hit because everything was hit.

00:17:24.000 So that's where things currently stand.

00:17:26.000 This is why people who are saying, oh, catastrophe, end of the world.

00:17:29.000 No, not exactly.

00:17:31.000 Hey, now, is the ceasefire actually going to last?

00:17:33.000 The reason that Iran is in serious trouble here is because either way this goes, they got a problem.

00:17:39.000 The reason Iran is hesitant to give up control over the Strait of Hormuz now is because this is now their only leverage point.

00:17:45.000 What they realized in this war, they thought they had three possible leverage points here. 0.79

00:17:49.000 One, their terrorist proxies.

00:17:51.000 They could activate their terrorist proxies and it would drive everybody off the ball.

00:17:54.000 Two, that they could directly fire at energy facilities in Saudi and UAE and Bahrain, and all of those countries would pressure the United States into stopping.

00:18:04.000 And three, the Strait of Hormuz. 0.63

00:18:05.000 Those were their three real capacities to harm. 0.84

00:18:10.000 The globe and their enemies.

00:18:12.000 Two of those have been completely wiped off the map. 0.78

00:18:14.000 Their terrorist proxies are not going to deter anybody, and their strikes on Kuwait, Bahrain, UAE, Saudi have driven the Gulf states, our Gulf allies, into alliance with Israel, not into weakness vis a vis Iran. 0.51

00:18:28.000 So that left them with one choke point and one choke point only, and that's the Strait of Hormuz. 0.81

00:18:31.000 If they give that up, then basically they become a hermit state without even a nuclear weapon.

00:18:52.000 When the IRGC is in the weakest position it has likely ever been?

00:18:56.000 When the Iranian army, the Artesh, and the IRGC are not exactly on the same page? 0.66

01:02:44.000 Like, I love that, like, our legs were touching under a table and neither of us moved our leg or something, like, stuff like that.

01:02:48.000 I'd be like, oh, so, like, I don't know, it would make me, like, horny to, like, think about him doing that with other girls.

01:02:53.000 And then I would, so I'd ask about all of his, like, girlfriends or anyone he had hooked up with, like, all the details about it.

01:02:59.000 And I would really be, like, a foreplay for me.

01:03:01.000 Like, I would get, like, revved up talking about it.

01:03:03.000 And then it reached a point where he was out of stories.

01:03:05.000 Like, he had gone through all of them.

01:04:05.000 So let's talk about something actually more serious, which is your first episode, which is on this substance called Kratom.

01:04:13.000 Why should people care about it?

01:04:13.000 What is that?

01:04:14.000 Yeah, so Kratom, it's originally a leaf in Southeast Asia, and it came over to the States.

01:04:19.000 And recently, over the past couple of years, it's become this phenomenon of sorts because chemists got involved with this derivative that's actually in the leaf called 70H.

01:04:27.000 It's becoming super popular, kids are getting addicted to it.

01:04:30.000 Adults are getting addicted, people are getting involved, and they didn't even know it's a drug, and now it essentially acts like an opiate.

01:04:35.000 And so it's causing a lot of concern for people across the country.

01:04:40.000 And it's just kind of operated in like a gray area for a long time.

01:04:43.000 And so people haven't understood what this thing is.

01:04:45.000 And so we wanted to deep dive and understand what is this?

01:04:49.000 Why are people going to rehab for a drug that they didn't even know was a drug?

01:04:51.000 And that's what our first deep dive was on.

01:04:55.000 And this is an actual serious issue.

01:04:57.000 I mean, I have a friend who at one point was addicted to fentanyl, and this person has.

01:05:03.000 Had a relapse because of kratom, because it actually acts, as you say, like an opioid.

01:05:09.000 Now, where can people get it?

01:05:11.000 I believe it's just kind of sold over the counter, like normal stores, correct?

01:05:14.000 Yeah, you can get it at like a gas station.

01:05:16.000 People are finding it at gas stations, they're going to smoke shops.

01:05:18.000 And again, what I think is so nefarious about it is it is targeting people who are former addicts, which makes it so much more evil.

01:05:25.000 You know, people that have had sobriety issues in the past, they're getting re addicted, thinking they're in the clear, and then they're going back to rehab.

01:05:32.000 So I've heard so many stories since we released it of people reaching out saying, hey, thanks for talking about this.

01:05:37.000 My brother's addicted, we don't know what to do, and this is just, I mean, it's a huge thing that no one's talking about, which I think at the very least, people need to be aware of it before we discuss what to do about it.

01:05:46.000 Well, the retailer of Kratom actually sent a cease and desist after Reagan's very first episode based on this.

01:05:54.000 They just, what, wanted you to take down the episode?

01:05:57.000 What was the ask?

01:05:57.000 Yeah, people aren't happy to be talking about it.

01:06:00.000 And I think that's only kind of reinvigorates the idea of, like, then there is an issue here.

01:06:04.000 There is a gray area that, again, people have been operating in.

01:06:07.000 And now they don't want it brought to light.

01:06:09.000 And that's kind of the whole point of the show we want to be bringing these issues to light.

01:06:13.000 And whether they're going to be, people are going to be angry about it or not, that's kind of the whole point, you know, is to keep exposing it.

01:06:19.000 So that's what we're going to do.
